- 0:54Hi, love.
- 0:55Welcome to Dear Divorce Diary, the podcast helping divorcees go beyond talk therapy to process your grief, find the healing you crave, and build back your confidence.
- 1:05I'm your host, Don Wiggins, a therapist, coach, integrative healer, and divorcee.
- 1:11Join me for a fresh approach to healing grief and building your confidence after divorce.
- 1:25Hey gorgeous, Coach Tiffany here, and I am back this Thursday again for another guided meditation on guilt.
- 1:32Before we start, I just want to say this.
- 1:34If guilt has been following you around lately, you are so not alone in that.
- 1:39Honestly, guilt is one of the most common things women carry after divorce.
- 1:43And not just guilt about the marriage ending, guilt about the kids, about being angry, about staying too long, about leaving, about not healing fast enough, about setting boundaries, about disappointing people, about wanting more peace, and just about wanting more.
- 2:04It's a lot.
- 2:05And so many women end up carrying guilt like it's proof that they're still loving, still good, and still caring.
- 2:11But tonight we're not here to shame your guilt.
- 2:13We're not here to force it away.
- 2:15We're not doing toxic positivity.
- 2:18We're just gonna get really curious.
- 2:21Because underneath guilt, there's usually a part of you trying really hard to protect something.
- 2:26So get comfortable.
