- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: All right, welcome back to the Bill's Grow podcast and we're host him alliance in studio as always Scottsdale HQ Randy Hastie, what's up buddy?
- 0:34[SPEAKER_02]: How are you doing today?
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's bigger, better.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: It depends on who you're asking.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: Great question.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: So let me give you a quick story.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, we opened our jam in a thirty one hundred square feet.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think thirty one sixties.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_02]: So let's call a thirty two hundred square feet in two thousand and nine.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: It was in a really good location anchored by a fine, you know, foods, grocery, tenant, big name in Arizona, and next door to a restaurant, next door to a tanning salon, nail salon, you know, all this stuff right in the center.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: And we got to a point where we felt like we were growing out of the space because we were doing large group training, we were outside doing
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: wall slams and flipping tires were running around in the parking lot and there's there was a McDonald's being built and it was like all this stuff going on was like man we got to get out of here got to get out of this place let's go expand let's go bigger and you know you can remember this this was the year twenty at this point was twenty fourteen to twenty fifteen when we're making this decision
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: We've been in that location six years going on to six years and it was like, you know, it's time to move.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: And so, founding new space, eight thousand feet right down the street blocks away, blocks away.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: We're not going to lose anybody.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: This would be a great transition and we could do all these cool things and do the boot camp, large group training inside and we'll do some of my private.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: We were doing some of my private stills but we were doing it was probably fifty, fifty.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just call it that as far as like the amount of people.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: maybe probably heavier on the large group training side anyways move to eight thousand square feet and we grew we you know it was marginal at first and then we grew and grew and grew as we change the model and the question becomes is bigger better and the honest truth is during coming out of covid we were doing the remodel kind of had an epiphany we had to remodel the gem we were rebranding and we tore the whole gem apart like from top down to the studs
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: And the way we decided to do it was in phases.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: So we cut the Jim and half.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: We put a temporary wall up and we did construction on the front half.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: And then the back half.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: The good news is we had a really cool building with a side door and a back door.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: And we could, you know, it was actually perfect.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: When we closed down the bathrooms, we brought like a really nice porta potty trailer out front.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: And we had like, it was like, we knew what we were doing.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: Let's be honest.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: It was pretty damn smooth.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: And there was a point, time when we had moved into the front half and we were doing like a hundred and twenty-five sessions a day with a third of the space that we have.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like pissed off because we were doing pretty damn good and it was a good kind of feeling in the new space and we were like, man, we're kind of like getting it done over here.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like what do we need the other half of this for?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: What do we need this other four thousand square feet for?
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: We don't.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: And obviously, there was nothing I could do at that point, you know, where we are, where we are.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, of course, we have the podcast studio.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: We've got this like other offices and stuff in here.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: But we're paying for it.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: Heavy, heavy, heavy, overhead, you know, tapping on, seventeen, five this year, seventeen, thousand, five hundred a month in rent.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, the question becomes,
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: What I do that again, and the short answer, the quickest answer is absolutely not.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: There's way more margin, and we can run the same traffic or the same clientele base.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: Out of a three thousand square foot place with half the overhead, right?
- 4:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, if you're going to go to a
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: eight thousand a three thousand and you go from a you know into a nicer center is probably going to be a little more than a little less than fifty percent because you're going to pay a premium to be in and that comes the next question would you rather pay a premium to be in a really you know an anchor tenant center versus
- 4:38[SPEAKER_02]: What I believe is the badge of honor in CrossFit is like going the back of an industrial park at the cheapest rent and what's what's better and really the honest truth is there's no there's no question in my mind
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: anchored to tenant shopping centers would be the direction, because of just the walk in traffic.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're going to pay for eyes, either through rent and visibility, you know, walk in walk, I mean, people in the area that are walking past every day or you're going to pay for it and marketing.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to spend the money to get to get the eyes on what you're offering regardless.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: You want to do it a little bit in rent, you know, over the long haul or are you going to throw it through traditional forms of marketing like meta and Google and the other things that
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you have to draw people to the location as early as to there already there sure
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: And it brings up two great stories.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: One of them is we're working with a Jim and Connecticut right now.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: And they're in a location that they're pretty fed up with.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's never been profitable.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: And they need to get out of there and go to this other center.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: And if they've inked the deal, I think a letter of intent with this other location, which is pre-mo.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's like the town center and all the businesses going on.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: They're right on the road.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's on the same road, but one's kind of offset.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: But the new location's like right there on the street.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: and they're being pressured from their current tenant, or landlord to stay in the current location because there's this huge well-known restaurant that's coming to, to lease the space below them and like, you know, this guy's well-known, he's got six locations, there he's friends with the landlord, and like, wouldn't that be great?
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: And I basically, we had this long call, and it boiled down to this, and here's what it was.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: You're banking on this restaurant.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: Coming in and bringing new business.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that's what you're banking on.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: If you had never been here for five years, you wouldn't know any different.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: That might sound good to you.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: But you've been in this location and it's underperforming.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to put all of our success in the hope that this other restaurant that's coming in is going to bring everybody in your business.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: Two things.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: One, you have no control over that.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely not.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: Second is they're there for breakfast.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: They're not there to work out.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like sure you were going to get some eyeballs on you.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: And like, but there's nothing that is going to guarantee that they're going to come and sign up for you.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: Versus.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_02]: The new note location where it's like town center.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody goes to there.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's smoothie bars and wellness things and chiropractors and all these things that bring like multiple businesses bringing in the right clientele for you.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: Now, the same story is true, that doesn't mean they're going to go join your gym.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: But you're going to get the eyes of the location versus hoping that this tenant's going to bring people in, whereas all of those other people are bringing people in right now, because it's existing.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: You can stand over there on a Wednesday afternoon and look, that this is what is normal.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: And so like I'm pushing them over there and they're like,
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: get inside line.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: I got to call them today and make sure that they haven't made any new changes to their plan.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_02]: But to me, the primal occasion outweighs the cheap rent, tenfold.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: And here's another reason why.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: Number one, it's getting harder to market.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like, let's just be honest, you're gonna continue to spend more, and it's a hundred percent up to you to get people in that center.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: If you're in a tough location, like if you're in the cheap rent CrossFit guy with the roll-up door, hundred percent on you.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if marketing was cheap, if it was going down, maybe,
- 8:29[SPEAKER_02]: When you're in the center center, we have a gym owner that literally just moved locations, center of thirty people with no marketing, cause of walk-ins, walk-ins, cause he's in a better location.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: And so, we were in a better location than we are now.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: So at the time, in twenty fourteen to twenty fifteen, we moved to the new location.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_02]: He had those two blocks away, but it was out of that really good center with the nail salon and the tanning salon and the restaurants and stuff.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now where it's up to us.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_02]: We still have that we're right in the same street.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: But unless we're marketing, nobody's walking in here.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_02]: So that was a bad decision ten years ago.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: A decade ago.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: That was probably the wrong decision.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we've made it work.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: Now, here's the kicker, right?
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: We're coming up on another term in a couple years.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what do we do next?
- 9:16[SPEAKER_02]: Can we go back to a smaller location?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's really weird, right?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have to make some decisions here pretty soon.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I don't know.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: And that goes back to two things.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: One, you move, okay?
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just say hypothetically, you get the option of just downsizing here.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, cutting off half maybe, you know, a portion of what you're utilizing here in this spot.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, can you trim some of the overhead to a smaller location, do it here?
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: That probably be ideal.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: Is it possible?
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Can you move locations to where it's somewhere similar, right?
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing when I could lose clientele by moving twenty miles, fifteen miles, ten miles, whatever, maybe.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: But then the other half of that is the
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: We know the goal is a smaller footprint because of the first half of your, you know, what you were talking about, right?
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like we know that the margins, all of that goes direct to profit if we didn't have all of an extra overhead to carry, right?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it's almost like the phases of business ownership, you know, that you've talked about, right?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: Optimization is kind of where you're at right now.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: How do you, with all of the things in play?
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: How do we get the most out of this?
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's one going to benefit you as an owner going to benefit the business overall.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: But that's where the decisions have to be made.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: You have to look at all these things.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: You have to consider these things.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: If you're listening or looking at locations or considering opening a gym, all those things take this stuff into consideration.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think both of us would agree, bigger is definitely not better.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And we've had Jim owners that we've had the same discussion with, right?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was too early for them to expand and go blow out a wall and open up or extend their expenses because they didn't need it versus with their capacity and utilization in their footprint, right?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_01]: The goal of this business is to be, make as much profit as possible with all of things considered, right?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't have to,
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the thought then becomes, if I'm going to take on, let's say an extra four grand in rent, well, that made me twelve thousand in profit.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: How is it going to happen, right?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: Is it happening through more marketing budget, more expense to get those more so that, you know, four grand and an overhead becomes eight, nine, ten.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_02]: And so now is an extra two grand a month worth it for all the headaches and out out like, you know, it's all needs to be lined out.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then we're talking, you know, there is going to be a point of
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: Call it a tipping point when it comes to the people that you're serving in the business, too.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: Do what you have when it comes to coaching staff, your schedule, all of that type of stuff.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: Can you expand and utilize maximum that opportunity with that square footage added?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know, can you afford to put another coach on the floor?
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Can you do like there's so many things that come with being able to serve more people?
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes it's not about just more people, more square footage.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's about the optimization of the business within.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: I would much rather serve a hundred clients really well, high end and have a phenomenal service based business.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we work with a lot of gyms that with a hundred people, they can make half a million dollars a year, right?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: It comes down for like one, and I think this is a really good way of looking at it, too, is what do you want the business to serve you with?
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: What is the goal of the business?
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then taking that and looking at the square footage session, how many sessions you can operate out of it?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Your coaching team, all of the things that it takes to deliver on that,
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: Does this location give you that opportunity or doesn't not?
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's really what it comes down to.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: Don't shoot yourself in the footer.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Don't go too big.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: Out of the gate, unless you know that you're going to utilize every bit of that.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, realistically, if we looked at the square footage here, we could probably double the capacity.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: But now we're talking four hundred something members in the semi-private business.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: More coaches, more nutrition.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: That was going to be one of the things I got up to, right?
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, when you have more members, even at moderate nutrition, let's just call it four percent.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: With four hundred members, you're replacing sixteen with two hundred and replacing eight with a hundred and replacing four.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: Well, again, there's a cost per acquisition.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: Unless you've got organic ways to get people in the door, you're probably doing them already unless you can't really like poor
- 13:46[SPEAKER_02]: fuel on organic like referrals like you can try but sometimes it just doesn't work yeah like the people just don't want to refer not because they don't love you
- 13:56[SPEAKER_02]: There's something else going on in some of these people's heads, and it's very, very interesting.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: We've noticed this many years ago when we changed from large group to semi-private only, the culture changes because the person's different that we're serving.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's not the same person.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: You can get people to adopt from large group into semi-private.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: But the human being is a little bit different when you're attracting them.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_02]: The person at the semi-private, it's not about tribe.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's not about more.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's not about seeing, it's about them.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: For them to refer somebody to you, they have to say, well, my time and not seeing all these friends and stuff where I come in here, I keep kind of kick them out.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to invite that in.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to do that.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like they enjoy the isolation factor of
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: leaving the rest of the world outside, right?
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: There's almost like a secret sauce to it, too.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: Secret secret society.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, right?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they don't want to share the secret of what's getting them a results sometimes.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's weird.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: They don't want it exactly.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's very strange.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I've had people say that to me every way.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: I had a doctor tell me that, you know, I go, hey, man, I know your doctor and you, your business thrives on referrals.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: You have a referring, but I'm not saying you have to.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just questioning like,
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, how do we get more people in here through like your practice?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like we've sent you a ton of people.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, I don't want anybody in here that knows me.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: interesting.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, he's very selfish, but it's what he wanted.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I didn't refer anybody.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just like kind of fucking, you know, like, up here is dude.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the referrals to him stopped.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's not to waste you.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: None of it's a tube.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, there'll be so honest with you guys, like Jim owners right now that you had this high hopes of the chiropractor, the physical therapist or the naturopathic doctor, that you've sent dozens, if not fifty people to send in you like ten or twelve or
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: If five percent back, it won't happen.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: So do not expect it to happen.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: If you're ever going to do a deal, expecting reciprocation, get in a affiliate deal.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Any time you send somebody to them, they pay you because they ain't sending you somebody back.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: Even though they said they would, they just doesn't happen.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know why it's just expected of gyms to outsource and nobody's coming back to the gym.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: Just interesting.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's very interesting, yeah.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know that doctor has overweight patients that need to work out and get on a nutrition plan, but they would rather prescribe medication and no zipping, then send them to the gym.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just the way it is.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you can't, you can't fight it.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_02]: I've tried.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: We had a physical therapist in this room behind us, and it was up front, my man.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: We got a cross-referred, and yeah, man, I'm all over it.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_02]: We built his business from zero.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think he left with fifty clients when we kicked him out.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, you're just not holding up here in the deal.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: What you're paying for us in that rent does not cover the cost of what we can use that room for.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it was a business thing.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: Nice guy.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not personal.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: The bottom line is all of this stuff is business.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: All of this stuff is math.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: You have to look at the business just like that.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: Your decision should be led, you know, with a lot of logic to back the decision making, not just emotionally pouring.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that sounds like a great idea.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but does it actually have the ability to pay you what it needs to?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, just, just know this, guys.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: Just know this.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_02]: What we sell in the fitness industry is hard work.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's not appealing.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_02]: We can make it sound as easy as possible, but the honest truth is the client's got to do work.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way around it.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: We also need to agree that there's only so much budget that a client has to spend on things like wellness, whatever.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: And when you're in line with another somebody that you refer them out to and they start getting some relief out of pain, maybe it's a chiropractor, I'm just throwing an example out here.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: And they're getting massages and they're getting them back feel so much better, my neck, I'm sleeping better and they're getting all these results from being manipulated, not like physically, not like mentally, but physically manipulated through adjustments and things like that.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: and they're getting the result, they're out of pain, physical pain, and mental, where they're not, like, kind of like, hey, I don't really need to work out anymore.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: I think about their wellness, like, they use, like, as a problem, like they used to.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, maybe I'll just cut that gym out.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: And so here you are doing the right thing by the client, helping out the other business.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_02]: You send them to a chiropractor or a physical therapist, and they're getting results over there, and they're charging them more and more, and maybe some point, they're paying that person more than you, and then they quit your membership and stay with them.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: happens all the time.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: So just be careful, just just know, like I think you need to help the client first, like that's number one.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: But there's potential in its happen dozens of times here where we've outsourced somebody and they've stayed with that other provider, not a fitness provider, but they cut their fitness out to get the results that they're really wanting from another thing, a doctor, GLP, whatever.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, there's the human dynamic there that even if it doesn't come down to money, it's the ease, it's the
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I mean, I can show up once a week at best.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's like every other week to get adjusted or get service over here.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I got to be in the gym three, four times a week and beat the hell out of myself in order to see, feel, experience something that I feel is a gain.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: People can gravitate towards the path of least resistance.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: The reason that GLP ones and all of this stuff is like exploding beyond the fitness industry is because it is for the lack of a trend to an easy button.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: right and easy button and we need this to play out a little bit longer but i think the people that are losing all their muscle mass they're going to start coming back well i think that's i think that's that the almost is on the gym owner to be that kept that solution for that right let's not go battle the weight loss factor that they're they're doing over here let's provide something that they can't that we know that client needs that should be the communication that we're bringing into the marketplace right or strength putting muscle mass saving muscle mass because we know it's not discriminatory when it's
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know, getting weighed off of you, those clients are going to need this service more than ever after they go down that route.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: But if it's if you the gym owner aren't speaking to those things, educating clients, long-term nurtures, things like that,
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Don't expect them to come back in your doors.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: And not like that doctor's gonna send them over.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: You gotta go talk to that doctor.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: So anyways, we got off the, what was our topic today?
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: What was doing?
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: We were talking about the square footage and bigger is not better.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: But anyways, we got off topic, but I think you get the point.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_02]: We're not gonna ramble on any longer.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: We've taken up too much of your time.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: Nick, what's our time count on this one?
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: I have had it.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's like I have like this internal timer when it's time around, around, about eighteen to twenty two minutes.
