Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: On this episode of the Master Vasing Podcast, I'm going to tell you some of my favorite help with the real estate marketing.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: I'd like to find outs.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: I'd like to sell houses.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Hey, what's going on, Massive Agents?
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Welcome to episode number 40 of the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: I am your host, Dustin Brohm.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: I'm a realtor in Salt Lake City with EXP Realty.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: I'm the founder of the Massive Agent Society and Search Salt Lake and Salt LakeInsider.com.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Those are my two local media companies here in Salt Lake.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: So I'm excited for today's show.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: I'm going to give you some different, let's see, how many uh four different sorry, seven different app recommendations that can help you in your real estate business, in your marketing apps that I personally use, I use every single one of these, and most of them are totally free.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: And I think the paid ones might be like$1.99 or something.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: I think these can really help you.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are like, hey, what app should they use for this or for that?
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna give them to you.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Real quick before I do that, just to follow up on last week's episode, episode 39, I I unveiled, if you will, a sale that I'm doing on the Massive Agent Society.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: We're doing 50% off the annual memberships right now, the 12-month membership.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Half off.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: So that makes that makes the membership only$125 a month instead of$300.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: So that's that's huge right there.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Now, if you're new to the show, Massive Agent Society, it's a training and support system that I put together.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: It's an online course.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: It's like your traditional online course, right?
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Where you'll you'll log in, there's a bunch of videos on how to do custom audiences, how to actually do a Facebook ad start to finish if maybe you're not up to speed on that, a few other training topics to get you up to speed, and then a database of a handful of different Facebook campaigns that you can run.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: All you have to do is copy and paste them and then adjust a couple things for your audience in your area and then run them.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: When I first came out with this society, it was back in April, and and I was trying to figure out a way to help more people get up to speed quicker with Facebook ads.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: And so I thought, well, I have all these campaigns that have worked well for me and for my coaching clients.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Why don't I just give them those?
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, well, shit, let's just do that.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And we put that together.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: But then I realized also you could do that, you can copy and paste all the ads, but you have to learn how to adjust certain things to make it work for you in your area.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: So that's why the support and the training is key.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: So we have a members-only Facebook group.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: I'm always accessible.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: You can reach me and get one-on-one coaching.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: We do Zoom calls.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: I'll do Facebook Lives when I you know when I think there's something new to teach you guys right into the Facebook group.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: So that group is is really your support, and you're getting one-on-one coaching from me for a hell of a lot less than if it was a one-on-one thing.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So right now, until the end of September, until the until midnight on well, I guess it's 11.59 p.m.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: on the end of September to get the deal, to get the 50% off membership.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And remember, guys, there's only one agent per market.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: So we unveiled this last week.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: We had a few of you guys join.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And if you want to make sure that your market is still available, go to MassiveAgenSociety.com, click on sold out markets to see if yours is still available.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Just because you live in a major city doesn't mean that yours is sold out already.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: We have a bunch of major cities.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: We have, you know, like Dallas, Seattle, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Nashville, Atlanta.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Like there's a bunch of major markets that are still available.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: So don't just immediately think that you're out.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Go check it out.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And then if you are joining and you want the 50% off deal, just use the checkout code, the coupon code at checkout, 50% off annual.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: That's 5-0 off annual.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Use that at checkout and you'll get the deal for half off an annual membership.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: I really want to help you guys as quickly as possible get lead generation into your own hands.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: Take control over it because markets are shifting all across the country.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: That doesn't mean they're going down, they're not crashing, but they're cooling off.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: They're leveling off.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: We're seeing demand being reduced quite a bit.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: So does that continue?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: In some areas.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Does that change?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, maybe in some others.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: But nonetheless, if you're buying online leads from Zillow or whatever, those are going to get more and more expensive as time goes on.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: So you've got to learn how to get your own leads.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: You have to.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So I want to help you do that right now.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm doing half off till the end of this month.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Take advantage.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Because that's pretty damn generous.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: If I do say so myself.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Alrighty, let's get into the app recommendations, shall we?
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: So just a glimpse into my life right now.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: So I'm recording this a week earlier, almost a full week earlier than I normally do.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Um I'm scrambling today because tomorrow the family and I were going on a we're going on a vacation.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: We're taking the whole family up to Jackson Hole.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: We're going to be up there for a week.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: And when you live in Salt Lake, we're super spoiled.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Salt Lake is beautiful already, but Jackson Hole is only a four to five hour drive north of us.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: We don't have to fly.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: It's an easy drive.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: It's a beautiful drive.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: So man, we're lucky.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: But taking the family up there, I didn't want to do any podcast recording while I was while I was up there.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: I might do some of the editing, but I'm scrambling today trying to get all the Alexa Flash briefings caught up and recorded before I go up, trying to get clients taken care of, trying to line up photos for upcoming listings.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Like, you know how it is.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: If you ever want more business, just go out of town.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Just go out of town and you'll all of a sudden get a flood of it.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: That's just the way the system works, okay?
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: So the key to success in real estate is if you want more business, go on vacation more.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: The longer the vacation, the more business you get.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: That's just how it works.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: I really wonder if someone wants to test this.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Like if you just say, screw it, I'm going on a one-year tour of the world, does that mean you get like two years worth of business?
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: So one of you guys should try that and then let me know.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Or if you want to finance this test, if you guys want to like go in together on like a gofundme, or you want to Venmo, you know, a few hundred thousand dollars my way, so that I can test this theory, I'd be happy to try it out for you guys.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: It's science, you know.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I want to do it in the name of science and research.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: So if you want to put together a GoFundMe, I'm all for it.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna stop ya.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: So anyways, sorry, text just came in that uh working out some photos for an upcoming listing.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Anyways, so this hey, guess what?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: The squirrel takes a week off too, which is awesome.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: The squirrel's not coming with us to Jackson Hole.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be plenty of them there, but not the same.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Not the same squirrel that you've come to know and love here on the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So the squirrel gets a week off, so he'll be nice and refreshed when we come back from Jackson.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, the apps, the apps, the apps, the apps.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: The first one I want to talk about is Quick.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: Q-U-I-K.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Quick minus the C.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Quick is an app by GoPro, and it's a it's an app that lets you put together some videos with music and transitions and cool text effects and everything like that without you having to manually do it.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: Like if you were to manually do those videos, oh my god, you have to be a like a truly professional videographer and have crazy editing software.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: But the Quick App is free.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: And let's say you wanted to do here's how I've used it.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: I'll just tell you how I use the Quick App.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So in my content marketing, on my search Salt Lake page on Salt Lake Insider, and coming soon to you know some of the massive agent social media accounts, I'm gonna be doing like when if I'm ever doing like a top 10 list or a you know 15 reasons why you should move to Salt Lake City, stuff like that, I will take a photo for each one of those reasons, or for each one in the top 10 list, like top 10 coffee shops or whatever, top 10 sushi sushi restaurants.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: I did a video for that.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: If you want to see that, go over to the Salt Lake Insider Instagram and you can see that, or let's see, search Salt Lake.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: You could see a couple of these quick videos on the Search Salt Lake Instagram account.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: But you just take, like let's say I'm doing a top 10 list, you and each one is a different restaurant.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: You take one image or video for each restaurant, you upload it into the app, and then you can put text over it and you can say this is restaurant A, this is restaurant B, this is restaurant C, and then you can pick the music, pick the style, and it puts it all together for you with cool transitions and music, and it just gives you a video.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: And then you you can even specify if you want it to be square video or landscape video or vertical or how long you want it to be.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: It's a really, really cool app that makes it so damn easy to do these cool, professional looking videos.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: They're great for Instagram, they're great for Facebook ads.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: So I think Quick is probably my favorite app out there for content creation.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Because it just makes it so easy and it's free.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: And here's a little pro tip for you for Quick.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: So they default to having like the very end screen be a little GoPro promo.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: You can remove that and add a new image to be your final screen.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: So what I did is I just created like uh the logo like Salt Lake Insider with Salt Lake Insider.com or whatever as an image, and then I upload that to be the last frame on the video, and then it's like an outro, you know, kind of like a credits or an outro for the brand.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: So that's a way to get around that, and that's with the free version.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: So go get quick.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Love that app.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: And then uh so this would be kind of cool.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: There's a there's a few other apps that help you do some creative stuff.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I'd love to see what you guys do with it.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: So when you guys use these apps and go create something of your own, go to our Facebook page, go to the Massive Agent Podcast on Facebook and post some of the stuff you've done.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: I have no problem in this situation if you want to promote your shit, promote it on the Massive Agent Podcast page.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: I'd love to see what you're doing.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: I like to, you know, I like to see other ideas.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: It helps me generate my own, but it lets you promote some of your own stuff too.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: So you so do that if you're using Quick or some of these other apps I'm gonna talk about.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: The next one is Headliner.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Headliner is not necessarily a mobile app.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Headliner is a website, but it lets you create those waveform videos.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: I just posted one yesterday, well, let's see.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Whenever you're listening to this, one of the one of the most recent few Instagram posts on the Massive Agent profile.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: So I took a 60-second clip of our Massive Agent minute flash briefing, and then I created a background graphic.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: And admittedly the graphic kind of sucks, but it looks amateur, but nonetheless, it's free.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: Uploaded the graphic, then headliner lets you put the waveform.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: That the waveform is like, you know, when you're talking, you know how the little bars go up and down, and then when you're not talking, the bars go away.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: You start talking again, the bars go up.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: You've seen those.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: You can put those anywhere you want on the image, and you can specify square or vertical or horizontal, whatever.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: I do square because you can use it in more places.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: And then it also, here's what's cool about headliner.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: It also generates captions.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: It can auto-generate captions and put captions over the video.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: So it captioned my flash briefing for that day, and so you can see the words and follow along with it and see the waveform.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: It's super cool.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: And if you have better graphic design expertise or taste than I do, you can make it look significantly better than I have.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: But to see that, go over to our massive agent Instagram profile.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: And I've done a couple of those over there.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: That's called Headliner.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Headliner.com or just Google Headliner, you'll find it.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Headliner is completely free.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: I strongly suggest you create an account though, because let's say you do a video and then you want to go back and and edit it slightly and maybe do like you know different versions of it.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: It won't save it if you don't do an account.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: So just register, it's free for Headliner.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: Alright, the next app, I use Buffer.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: A lot of a lot of you use Hootsuite or Buffer.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: I use Buffer, but not for the reasons you think.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: I do not recommend ever anymore posting with a third-party platform like Buffer or Hootsuite to a social network, especially Facebook and Instagram.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: They know.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And LinkedIn too.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: LinkedIn knows.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: They know when a third-party app is posting to their platform.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: And what they do in those situations is they will dramatically reduce the amount of reach your posts are getting if it's coming from Buffer or Hootsuite or whatever.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: So don't post directly to the social platforms.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: But what I use Buffer for is to schedule them, and then it sends me a reminder on my phone, hey, it's time to post to this account.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I click it, it opens up Instagram natively.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: It's already copied the post, and then the video or the image or whatever the creative is, it autopopulates into the Instagram app natively.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: All I have to do is paste it in, tag who I want, you know, make whatever changes I want, and post.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: And it is a native Instagram post.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: So I use I use buffer exclusively for Instagram now just to s to remind me that hey, it's time to post, and then I have to just copy and paste, and it's still a native Instagram post.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: So it's the best of both worlds.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: I get to schedule, I just have to manually hit post, and that's okay.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: So buffer is awesome.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: I personally pay the$10 a month for their, I think they call it the awesome plan.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: They're totally humble over there.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Buffer.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Totally humble.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: But wouldn't that be weird if it was like, yeah, this is the this is the so-so plan.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: You know, ten ten bucks a month, you get the you get the eh plan.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: So I get it.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: They had to do awesome.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: What are they gonna do?
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this plan's okay.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Buy it anyways, bitch.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: No, that wouldn't f that wouldn't fly.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Although I might buy it because I'm weird like that, but most people wouldn't.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: The next app I use is Voxer.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: Voxer is just a like a voice and GIF and text communication app, and I know what you're probably thinking, that you need another communication app, like you need a frickin' hole in the head.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: I get it, that's what I thought too.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: There's something about Voxer though, like if you if you have a group of people or family members or friends that you talk to on a regular basis, or maybe you want to organize an event, or maybe it's your your team, like your buyer's agents and listing it listing specialists, and you're sick of just doing a Facebook group or a f uh a group Facebook message, you want to have the ability to talk more, Voxer's a great alternative because you can have like you can hold it down and record, you know, 15 straight minutes of audio if you want, and they can play it, and then it autoplays the next piece of audio, and you can have full-on group conversations in the app and throw in gifs and do text.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Voxer's awesome.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: So I like Voxer if you want some more effective and fun communication with a group of people.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Next app is HypeType.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Hype Type.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: I'm fairly new to Hype Type, so hype type is like um it's like Word Swag.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: Word swag is an app that you can put text, like really cool uh graphical text on top of images.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: But HypeType lets you do that, but it animates the text.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, so it'll like fly onto the screen, or it'll like, you know, all of a sudden like poof appear in the middle, or it'll transition in or out, or you know, whatever, or swirl around.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: HypeType just animates text in really cool ways to put on top of images.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: So hype type's a really cool app for that.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: And I just use the free version, I do not use the paid one.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: The next app I really like is is the memes app.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: The memes app, a lot of you guys probably already use, and I what do I pay?
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Like two bucks a month, two bucks a month, something like that for memes, just to remove the watermarks and all that.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: But some of the stuff you've seen on our Massive Agent Instagram profile, some of the some of the goofy stuff I've done, where it's like a video with a meme that says like, you know, the face I make when I see a real estate agent talking on the phone in their freaking headshot, like that kind of stuff.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I'll make it with the memes app.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: It's a really easy way to create memes and gifs and video memes and video gifs and all, you know, you blah blah blah blah blah.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: You get it.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: Then the last app that I want you guys to to check out, we've talked about a lot, especially on episode number 27, our time management and organization episode.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: It's called Trello.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Trello is not just a mobile app, but it's like a desktop platform that also has a mobile app and it all syncs together so you can stay on top of shit on your phone and on your desktop.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: Trello is really helpful to like organize ideas.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: If you're if you're planning some idea, like maybe you're gonna launch a new website or a new business idea or a new strategy or a new video show, and you just want to keep track of the ideas that lead up to the main idea, use Trello.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: You can create a bunch of different different boards, and it's almost like you can have a bunch of sticky notes on one board, and then a bunch of boards lead to one big main board, if that makes any sense.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Trello is great for organizing ideas and to-do lists and tasks and keeping you on track.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: I love Trello, I highly recommend it, and that's free too.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna throw in a little bonus app here.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: It has nothing to do with real estate, but everything to do with staying highly caffeinated, which is a great idea if you're me.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: The Starbucks mobile app.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love the Starbucks mobile app.
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: It's so funny when I go in and I see people waiting in line, these big long lines, and they look so frustrated and they keep looking at their Apple Watch or at their iPhone.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: It's like, dude, why didn't you just frickin' order it on your iPhone or your Apple Watch before you even pulled up?
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: I love mobile ordering on the Starbucks app.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: It's so convenient.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And what's weird, see this has now changed my consumer behavior, is the Starbucks apps made it so that I could walk into a Starbucks that's totally empty, and I will sit down on a chair, pull out my mobile app, order it there, and then wait for the drink to be made, rather than just going up to the counter.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: How weird is that?
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: But I like the control that I have, and I like that I can specify exactly what I want, and I I can just sit there comfortable and don't have to talk to people.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: As weird as that sounds for who, you know, for someone who is a real estate agent and who should probably work on being a little bit more personable, sometimes I just don't want to.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: I just want to sit there while my little barista peon makes my coffee.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: I love my barista peons, they're the best.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: I say that with love and only love, but you know what I mean.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: So the Starbucks mobile app.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: Start ordering before you get to the store.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: You just walk in and pick it up.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: There's not there's nothing cooler than having this big long line and you walk right into the store, walk right up to the counter, pick up your drink, turn around and walk away.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: If you had a dollar for every dirty look you got from the people in line, you could retire.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: So I hope those apps really help you guys to do some really cool new content, be able to do some stuff that maybe took you an hour to do, but now with with the quick app, it could take 15 minutes, or maybe it's just gonna help you be more organized and more efficient or operate your business more efficiently.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: All of that is fantastic.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: And if you do any of that, I'm gonna be so stoked.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: Like mission accomplished.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: And then if this episode is a hit, if you guys like getting these app recommendations, we'll we'll do these every once in a while, maybe every quarter, because new apps are coming out all the time, and apps that might work today end up being obsolete two or three months from now.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: So we can do this every quarter or so uh if you guys like it.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Alright, so I mentioned I'm we're heading up to Jackson Hole tomorrow, stay in a week.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be awesome.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna try to unplug as much as I possibly can, but you know me, I'm gonna be doing Instagram stories, I'm gonna be f posting on Facebook, I'm gonna be, you know, because that's just me.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: I I enjoy doing that.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: And when you're in a place as beautiful as Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons, you kind of have to.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: I like I think it might even be a local law that like if you do not do at least two Instagram stories while in the national park, they might like stick bamboo under your fingernails, which is really barbarian and terrible.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: But hey, I didn't create the law.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Now, jokes aside, I'm looking I'm looking forward to kind of unplugging it.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: I talked about this on previous episodes and and a few of those massive agent minute flash briefings, but sometimes unplugging and just taking a break is the most productive possible thing you could do.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: And I feel like I'm kind of there, like I'm I'm not I'm not burned out.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: I'm not burned out, but I'm I don't know.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Uh I'll be totally honest with uh before I started recording this today, I'm just like, oh, I'm just not feeling it.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: My energy's not there.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Like I just want to go sit down and like sit down.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Like I just want to sit down.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: And so I, you know, I powered through it.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: I enjoy doing this this show, and once I got started, I'm like, yes, all right, I'm good.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: But sometimes you just you just need a break, right?
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: And so I'm kind of at that point and I'm really looking forward to this next week.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna be a hundred percent unplugged.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna have all the flash briefings recorded because I do one of those every single week.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Massive Agent Minute, if you have not yet enabled that flash briefing on your Alexa device, please do.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: You just do it on your Alexa app.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Just go search under skills for Massive Agent Minute, enable it, and then you just have to say Alexa, play my flash briefings, and it plays.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: And I do I do a new one of those every single day.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: Seven days a week.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: So I'll have those recorded.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, might be doing a little podcast editing while up there, but I'm I'm looking forward to you know taking my four-year-old boy to go throw rocks in the lake, go on some hikes, you know, just go have some really good food with awesome views.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: There's something about being in Jacks up in Jackson Hole when it's you know 25 degrees in the morning and then 70 in the afternoon.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: It's just amazing this time of year.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: And the colors, if you've been there, you know, you know what I'm talking about.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: This is one of those things where I felt like I needed to unwind, the timing couldn't be better, I'm kind of getting to that point where I need I need to hit refresh, so this week's gonna be it.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: If you guys are at that point where you're just like, man, I really need a break because I'm just not being productive and I'm just not that stoked about it every day, and and you know that after a good solid break that you'd be back to it, take the break.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Take the stop being so proud, just take the break.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Like I said, breaks can be the most productive thing you could possibly do.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: If you make it that way.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, before we wrap it up, before I get packed for Jackson Hole, I would feel totally derelict in my duties.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: I I would feel like I was letting you guys down if I didn't remind you how awesome it is to work with a brokerage that pays me company stock whenever I close a deal, and whenever somebody that I brought on board closes a deal, and they let me buy it at a 20% discount, and there's like three or four other ways that I get gifted company stock.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: It's awesome.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: No one else is doing that.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you guys, if you're looking for an extra income stream that isn't totally different, that you know, because obviously you could just go sell juice or toothpaste or something and hit up all your past clients to buy your frickin' teeth whitening stuff.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: You could do that.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: You could.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: Or you could just build another income stream within your current business, doing what you're gonna be doing anyways.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: If you don't know what I'm talking about, and most of you probably do by now, I urge you to find out why I chose to link arms with EXP Realty.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: It's a fantastic brokerage, there's a lot of financial upside to it, above and beyond commission.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: Like I'm I'm looking at building long-term generational wealth that comes in on a residual basis.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: To me that's key.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Financial security that doesn't rely on me opening doors and closing deals.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: To find out why I'm so damn excited, there's a video on my website, go watch it, it's like twenty five minutes long.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: You you can spare twenty five minutes.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: You know, you spare a hell of a lot more than that when you're sitting on the couch at night.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: So just go to massivagent podcast.com slash exp and hit play.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: And you could think it's the dumbest thing in the world, but at least you'll know.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: But I bet most of you will be intrigued, because I sure was.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Most of you, it will at least intrigue enough that you'll be like, oh, that's interesting, and it opens your mind.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Go to MassiveAgent Podcast.com slash EXP and click play.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: All right, and as we wrap up, remember the 50% off the annual memberships to the Massive Agent Society are full-on end-to-end Facebook ad training and support lead gen system.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: That's a mouthful, but it's true.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: It's absolutely true.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: We're only running that for another week or so until the end of October.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: So let's see, this comes out.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: Well, actually, when when you're hearing this, there's only a few more days.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: So go reserve your market.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: We only allow one agent per market.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: The reason why is we don't want five or six or twenty agents in the exact same area running the exact same ads.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: That sucks.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: That's not good for anybody.
- 24:05SPEAKER_00: We don't want that, so we limit it to one agent per market.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: What's great about it is the built-in referral network that you could then become the only agent in, let's say, uh Atlanta.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: And so when other people who are generating leads like crazy, when they have a when they have a referral to give out, they're like, ooh, who's our Atlanta person?
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, there we go.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: It's Sally.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: And Sally, our Atlanta agent, she gets the she gets the referral.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: So there's many benefits to one agent per market.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: So go check it out.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: 50% off.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: Use the code 50Off annual.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: 50 off annual.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Use that code at checkout and you'll get half off, making it just 125 bucks a month for the first year.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Unbelievable.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: Thanks so much for listening, guys.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Hey, go take a break, do a staycation, you know, grab the grab the husband or the wife or whoever your boyfriend, girlfriend, go downtown, stay at a hotel for the night, and just like forget about work, unplug for a minute, recharge.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: I promise you, it's gonna be one of the most productive things you can do.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm going to do it.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Take care, guys, have a good one.
