Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #179: How Emotional Weight Impacts Our Well-being
Transcript
- 0:02Hi, Welcome to tea time with Amy and Bev. Good morning, good
- 0:05day, doom, good night. I don't know whatever that's right. It
- 0:12could be any of those things, because it could be you could be watching
- 0:14this at any time, so it's perfect. Be a year from now or
- 0:18ten years from now, who knows, who knows where we'll go? How
- 0:23are you doing? I'm doing quite well, I think, uh A conversation
- 0:30for today because I'm living. It is emotional weight. It's a thing.
- 0:36And if you don't believe it's a thing, it is. And I say
- 0:42that because I have talked several times about manifesting and you know, co creating
- 0:51with the universe, and you know I still believe it, and I believed
- 0:55it then that we can manifest whatever we want. It's our belief in it,
- 1:03and it's our worthiness of believing in it in ourselves. And it's also
- 1:11the stress. So when when you're in the in the middle of some chaos
- 1:21a storm, and you have you cannot take your attention away from it because
- 1:26it's right there, it's in your face. You're focused on it, and
- 1:30no matter how much you try to not focus on it, you focus on
- 1:33it. And I know that and I've known that for years, even in
- 1:38talking about co creating with the universe, So recently I had to make the
- 1:42decision to take a breath from my business and get a full time job for
- 1:53the purpose of paying my bills. The bills still have to get paid,
- 1:57so in doing that, it took my focus off of the bills needing to
- 2:05be paid, not enough money in the account, How am I going to
- 2:08pay this next bill? Right? And even though I would redirect my focus,
- 2:15that was still in the back of my mind, so it wasn't completely
- 2:20my focus off of it wasn't complete. So by going and opening that door
- 2:25of getting a full time job, knowing a check is coming, money's coming
- 2:31into my account. My bills are paying paid with ease, which is a
- 2:38request in my co creation with the universe. I want my bills to be
- 2:43paid with ease. I've been asking for that for quite a while, and
- 2:47here we are. It's happening. It's happening in a way that I did
- 2:53not expect or think of before. And I've also talked about going to the
- 3:01gym and get my body in shape, and that really sparked or lit that
- 3:07fire back in December when I saw December of twenty twenty two, when I
- 3:13saw my when I went to my doctor's appointment, got my yearly check up,
- 3:17and I managed to reduce my size by nineteen pounds from December to about
- 3:28a week ago, and I couldn't get past that. Can get past it.
- 3:36So in the relief of getting a full time job and knowing that my
- 3:46bills are paid, I don't It's like not a stressor I've reduced another pound
- 3:53in a week. So I feel because of this change that's happening in my
- 4:02financial status that there will be more weight released with much more ease. So
- 4:13stress, First of all, stress has a huge impact on our body.
- 4:20But also if you think about when like financial burdens, relationship problems, not
- 4:28liking your job, having health issues, we take that weight on. I
- 4:35get that sensation through my neck and shoulders, which is a indicator that I'm
- 4:41taking on the weight of the world, so to speak. But it's the
- 4:44weight of my problems, the weight of our problems in my marriage, and
- 4:50so taking that on. So we use those words right, the weight of
- 4:55and so what does that do? It piles up it within our body.
- 5:00So I just want to bring that to people's awareness that if you are in
- 5:03some way struggling with reducing your size, maybe you've tried every diet in the
- 5:08world. Every one of them worked, but what happens when you go off
- 5:12of them you usually gain more pounds back and than where you started to begin
- 5:18with, Well you want to, My suggestion is take a look about of
- 5:27what's going on in your life. What are you focus on, what are
- 5:30you still hanging on to from your past, what is causing internal struggle mentally
- 5:39emotionally. Just really start looking into all aspects of your world, your inner
- 5:46world, and just notice where is that weight? Where are you hanging on
- 5:51to that weight? Nice? Well, very awesome for you. I know,
- 6:00I got on the scale because I weighed myself once a week. I
- 6:03got on the scale. I'm like, twenty pounds. I'm so excited.
- 6:08I celebrated for a few moments and got excited about it because it's it's been
- 6:12It's just been one of those things like every week I'm like, oh,
- 6:15still nineteen pounds. I would fluctuate sixteen to nineteen pounds, sixteen to ninetear
- 6:19eight every week and I'm like, what the hell, seriously, this has
- 6:25been months. Wow, Now I know. And actually, I'm just gonna
- 6:31say I knew even even before before deciding to getting a job, I already
- 6:43knew what my block was. I just had to do something different. So
- 6:48I did. I wasn't easy, No, wasn't easy. I talked about
- 6:54this in the last in the last couple videos that I grieved ugly crag greaeny
- 7:00because of the change and so, but at the same time, I knew
- 7:04something good was going to come out of it. Great, I mean it
- 7:10just good. Is where I could be. I knew something good would come
- 7:15out of it. But really, when things happen, great things can come
- 7:18out of it. But maybe we're just not mentally and emotionally there to recognize
- 7:26great things could happen and all the possibilities. And so this job doesn't even
- 7:31feel like work because I'm actually doing what I was doing and sitting here in
- 7:36my desk, I'm just doing it at a different desk, and I'm surrounded
- 7:41by people. I'm meeting lots and lots of new people. I'm learning lots
- 7:44and lots of things about our community. And even like when I was sitting
- 7:49at my desk five o'clock, I kind of did the you know, stop
- 7:54working around five so I could cook dinner, but even then I would work
- 8:01till six. Same thing. At this job, it's like, oh,
- 8:05it's fine, Oh I gotta go, it's five o'clock. Really it's it
- 8:09doesn't, which is fabulous. It doesn't even feel like a job job right
- 8:13that it's daunting. It's it's actually been fun and so much variety, and
- 8:18it's it's been interesting. I mean, like seriously, it's been very interesting
- 8:24learning all this new stuff. So nice feeling your way through it. That's
- 8:31one of the things I noticed. For when the emotions start coming up,
- 8:33if we get caught up on the story, I'll slow down and start listening.
- 8:37Where is it showing up for my body? How's it showing up for
- 8:39my body? And then I start asking all kinds of questions, and I
- 8:41ask for help to raise my vibrational frequency because a lot of times it's harder
- 8:46to it feels like it's more daunting to address any of the situations from the
- 8:52space where you're coming from from that victim, trauma, drama, emotion,
- 9:00like just stuff that was stuck. But it's not just stuff it aside and
- 9:03then go get busy and ignore it. It's to stop and reflect and allow
- 9:07it to release from you, not to hold on to it anymore, which
- 9:09is so amazing, amazing afterwards, amazing when you recognize, amazing, when
- 9:15you recognize you're in your story, that you're repeating a story over and over
- 9:18and over again, it's pretty incredible. I was just listening to a podcast
- 9:24yesterday and one of the persons had said on there, you know, it's
- 9:28being aware of what you're asking for. Because he's a psychic medium and he
- 9:31would do all this stuff and he's and he was young, and he said
- 9:33to him, Harry said, like, I just want to feel normal.
- 9:37And so then he goes into do a reading for somebody, for a group
- 9:41and he can't. Nothing's coming through, nothing's happening. And he's like like
- 9:43what He's like asking inside of himself, like what's going on? How come
- 9:46this is happening? And it flashed in his mind what he had asked for.
- 9:50So we asked for a lot of things, whether we intentionally know we're
- 9:54doing it or not. And you talked about what we put our attention on,
- 9:58and it's like, whatever you're putting your attention on. If you want
- 9:58to sit and watch the news all day, you're putting your attention on whatever
- 10:03that energy is, and whatever that energy is, you're asking for more of
- 10:05that energy. So if you're watching some sort of a new newscast that's going
- 10:09to uplift you and raise your vibration, that's awesome. Then everything you go
- 10:13listen to or do after that's going to be more uplifted. And you can
- 10:16it with an awareness and with asking you can maintain that higher and higher and
- 10:22higher. But we get a tendency to get back into the old story real
- 10:24quick, back into the old the old paradigms, just all the old stuff,
- 10:30and it's we just I think I feel like everybody is like kind of
- 10:33reaching and grasping out whatever they are familiar with these days, because things are
- 10:37so unfamiliar and it's okay, it's okay, it's not a it's not bad
- 10:43this unfamiliar area. It's like, well, okay, so what does what
- 10:46does abundance look like from this area? What does love look like from this
- 10:50space? How can I be around people and still love them? And how
- 10:54can I honor myself? That's one thing I've learned recently is more communication.
- 10:58I'm not always great about that, but I'm working on it. I'm not
- 11:01keeping stuff inside of me anymore. I just let it out. I don't
- 11:05and I don't let it out like I'm word vomiting all over somebody. I'm
- 11:09letting it out like I'm standing on my ground for things. If i don't
- 11:11feel comfortable with a client, I'm letting them know, or I'm putting it
- 11:15out there like I'm going to cancel this person, and the person calls because
- 11:18I'm removing them from my calendar, and then the person calls and cancels their
- 11:20appointment. It blows my mind, but that's our intentions. That's when we
- 11:24decide what our worth is. And also realizing I'm not here to fix everybody.
- 11:30It's not my job to fix everybody. It's my job to fix me.
- 11:33Not that there's anything wrong with me, but it's my job to work
- 11:35on this, to become familiar, to understand why I get the goosebumps,
- 11:39to where I get to goosebumps when I get them, to understand how I
- 11:43can be in silence more and hear more of the communication that's coming through.
- 11:48And for me a lot, it's just scribbling. I can sit here,
- 11:50listen to something else and it's like I get downloads of information. I'm not
- 11:54even trying anymore. I don't try. It's just something that's just coming,
- 11:56and it's I've been I'll wake up in the middle of the night, I'm
- 12:00meditating. I quit smoking marijuana because I could feel. It was just before
- 12:05my grandson was born, but I could feel that it was a distraction that
- 12:11I was. I had gotten to the point where it was distracting me from
- 12:13my thoughts and it was interrupting my dreams. I wasn't having dreams that I
- 12:16could remember. I would have like pieces and I would know that I had
- 12:20had a dream. But it's stepping away from that and even recognizing how in
- 12:24the evenings I might feel like I want to gravitate towards that, or it
- 12:28might kind of be a hint of it, and it's like, no,
- 12:30I just go go on and do something else. And I listen to what
- 12:31my body's asking for, and I'm soothing it. But I'm listening to it.
- 12:37I'm hearing what it's asking for. I'm also paying attention to how we
- 12:41view ourselves. We view ourselves and it's like if you age spots. Listeners
- 12:46to use age spots, if you see age spots, and you see them
- 12:48on people when you're working on them, or you see them on whatever.
- 12:50You're creating that in your own physical body automatically. So my thoughts are I'm
- 12:56seeing myself the way I want to see myself, and I'm noticing shift I
- 13:00got. I dropped down to one hundred and forty nine pounds. I'm not
- 13:01trying to drop weight, but I did because it's there's a there's a change
- 13:05going on in my body, so to go from dropping fat to adding some
- 13:11more muscles. So I'm in the process of all this stuff, but it's
- 13:13not something that I physically have to do. It's me being aware where my
- 13:16thoughts are at. Am I looking at myself and seeing something that's wrong when
- 13:20nobody else sees it, but I'm seeing it. So now I'm creating something
- 13:24I don't want to create because no one else sees it. I communicate with
- 13:28people, I'm asking questions instead of instead of walking. If I leave a
- 13:33situation and I'm driving home and I feel like, oh God, I shouldn't
- 13:37have said that, or I feel like I feel stupid, which I know
- 13:39this is childhood stuff, but in order for me to step into that or
- 13:43to recognize what's going on and move past it, I have to I ask
- 13:48questions, and so for the person I would be talking to, I would
- 13:50ask the questions and it's like they answer. Especially I know that I've got
- 13:54someone in my life that is one hundred percent like she just automatically will tell
- 13:58me. She tells me the truth, no matter what, she tells everybody
- 14:01the truth. And she's so refreshing. She's so refreshing because a lot of
- 14:03times I feel like and I say the truth because a lot of times a
- 14:05little say how are you doing? Oh I'm great, but I'm not great?
- 14:09Do you know what I mean? So to me, that's it's having
- 14:13that integrity to say, well, I'm having a shitty day today or whatever,
- 14:16but also knowing I know it can get better than that. It's not
- 14:20when I say that doesn't mean that I'm going to keep maintaining that. But
- 14:22I'm going to recognize where I'm at. Because I'm recognizing where I'm at,
- 14:24so I can go to where I want to go to, I can lift
- 14:28up to where I want to lift up to, and I am I'm doing
- 14:30these things and I'm feeling happy. I'm getting up in the morning. I'm
- 14:33feeling happy. I'm enjoying all my dogs around me because I've got six of
- 14:37them, so I'm enjoying them. Like if I go, I'm going in
- 14:39the room to get ready for our video today, and it's like I look
- 14:43back and they're all laying in the room with me, and I'm like,
- 14:43this is awesome. They're hanging out with me. I love it. I'm
- 14:48singing and listening to the songs. I'm just doing things that I want to
- 14:50do. And how do we know? Because we put ourselves aside so many
- 14:54times all the time, like we put ourselves aside, oh I eat.
- 15:00For instance, we could you and I could be having a conversation. I
- 15:01have to go to the bathroom, but I'll sit there and hold it and
- 15:03hold it and hold as long as I can and can instead of honoring my
- 15:07body body and saying, hey, give me a minute. And it's just
- 15:09those little things. You start doing those little things and everything else starts to
- 15:13shift because in your body, everything's like, oh, okay, this is
- 15:16what she wants these days, this is where we're gonna go now, and
- 15:20it changes everything. But it's honoring ourselves and we don't recognize that we're not
- 15:24honoring ourselves until we start paying attention. And that's where I'm at right now.
- 15:30Our body is such a huge indicator and it's like we could just talk
- 15:33about that topic forever, like forever, because of each part of our body,
- 15:39because of every organ, because of the cells, because of the bones,
- 15:41because of the muscles, like everything in our body has a story,
- 15:45and it's trying to when there's some discomfort, it's trying to get our attention.
- 15:50And this weight I have been carrying for several years, not months,
- 15:56years, and I it was before was twenty nineteen is when I started in
- 16:06the journey of going to the gym on a regular basis, and then twenty
- 16:08twenty happened and they shut everything down and I wasn't motivated enough to do things
- 16:14at home. But I maintained the same weight at that time. And it's
- 16:23taking the time, taking the opportunity to listen to it. I think I've
- 16:29shared before that I attended a retreat and our teacher said one of our things
- 16:37because it was over like four days, and she's like, Okay, tonight,
- 16:41you're going to go back to your space and you're going to write a
- 16:45letter from your body. To you. And the stuff that came up was
- 16:51again ugly cry because my body had these things to tell me. And the
- 16:56realization was doesn't matter how much you use me, I keep showing up.
- 17:02And that was so heartfelt and it was like it was so true. And
- 17:06this is when I realized like I was being the abuser, which was what
- 17:10I was trying to avoid because I experienced abuse in my childhood. But yet
- 17:15here I was abusing myself and doing this, I mean, doing the same
- 17:19thing, just in a different way. It was mental and emotional abuse,
- 17:22which is what I experienced in childhood, and that led to physical abuse because
- 17:29of the heavily heavy amount of alcohol I was putting into my body. And
- 17:36so part of it comes down to is well, majority of it comes down
- 17:44to people don't. We just don't want to face the hard stuff. We
- 17:48just don't and it's too difficult. But here's the thing. When you have
- 17:55somebody walking with you through it to help he those layers and to shift your
- 18:03perspective and give you a mindset shift and helping you in those those healing processes,
- 18:11it's a lot easier than you think. I think the biggest part is
- 18:15just wanting to to move through it, making the decision, making the decision
- 18:23Okay, I'm going to do this. That takes a lot of strength and
- 18:26and I would say we are all stronger than we're giving ourselves credit for,
- 18:36just because of everything we've already been through. And you've already been through it,
- 18:41like you've already been through it, you've already lived it. Now it's
- 18:44going back and just saying Okay, now I'm trying, and now I'm ready
- 18:48to release this. Now I'm ready to heal this. Now I'm ready to
- 18:49see this differently. And with you can't see things differently typically until somebody gives
- 19:02you a way to see it differently. You don't know what you don't know.
- 19:07And that's where I was when I started reading the books, and the
- 19:11biggest one was Wayne Dyer's book Your Erroneous Owns, when he started giving a
- 19:14different perspective about his dad who abandoned him and became an alcoholic. And there
- 19:18was an alcoholic and then he died, and Wayne Dyer had very deep hurt
- 19:26and anger towards his father, but changed that. He was able to change
- 19:33that perspective in the fact that his dad had his own pain. His dad
- 19:37had his own issues that he was dealing with. Some people would say the
- 19:41demons in your head, and you know, however, you see that,
- 19:45I just, you know, it's just to me emotional heaviness. And he
- 19:52once he got a different perspective, his heart softened and he had compassion and
- 20:00he was able to forgive. So, you know, don't I say I
- 20:06did my my healing journey alone. Actually I did it in the closet.
- 20:11I was never alone. I was doing it quote unquote in the closet.
- 20:15But I was attending classes, I was reading the books, I was listening
- 20:18to you know. It was as much information as I could to help me
- 20:22shift and change. So I never did this alone. I just didn't have
- 20:27the support system around me because nobody else was in this same They were in
- 20:37the same space with themselves that I was ready to be in with myself.
- 20:42So and I just knew I did not want to live out the rest of
- 20:47my life holding onto this deep seated deed, seated anger and shame and guilt
- 20:53that I was carrying until I took my last breath on this planet. I
- 20:57just didn't there had to be something different, And so I made that decision
- 21:03because I wanted to be. I wanted to experience genuine happiness and I couldn't
- 21:10deal with where I was and I needed help. So that help came through
- 21:14the forms of books and teachers and and then later I started getting into,
- 21:21you know, getting coaching and mastermind groups, and like I still to this
- 21:26day, I'm still reading and in mastermind groups and stuff because I still need
- 21:30that support system to keep moving forward. And so my message is don't don't
- 21:40think you ever have to do this alone. But if you want something different,
- 21:44you got to do something different. And fear is the one thing that
- 21:48keeps you from looking at these things. You get so fearful and you hold
- 21:51on to these stories. But when you start talking about them, it starts
- 21:53getting easier. Yeah, it starts getting easier. Then a lot easier than
- 21:59you thought it would possibly be. And it's like that takes away a lot
- 22:02of that fear. And it's so it does remove a lot of weight and
- 22:04the happier that you are. If we are happy in a regular basis,
- 22:07it doesn't matter what foods we eat, it doesn't matter what we do.
- 22:11Everything is always going our way. We're always happy. Your weight's always going
- 22:15to find its natural balance that feels good, and you're not even going to
- 22:18be paying attention to it because it's not a focal point. It doesn't run
- 22:22your life anymore because you're happy, you're not paying attention to those things.
- 22:25But when weren't unhappier or like you were saying, carrying that weight of things
- 22:27on you, which does feel heavy, But emotions don't have to be heavy.
- 22:33It can be just like, oh, okay, I'm gonna go ahead
- 22:36and look at this. I'm gonna download this process and then i'm gonna reformat
- 22:38my hard drive and I'm gonna everything's cool. I just created space for everything
- 22:41to go to its natural place without trying to control it. And I think
- 22:45a lot of times, mostly probably almost always, everyone's trying to control some
- 22:49aspect of their life on a regular basis, and probably I'm getting a little
- 22:55bit more laxadaisical about some things, like even being on time for things.
- 22:57I might be admitted or something, but it's like that's life. That's life.
- 23:06And it's like if that, if that bother someone else, then I
- 23:07meant to trigger that other person so they have an opportunity to grow from it,
- 23:11because a minute, it's really nothing, but I did have someone in
- 23:12recently and he's like, oh, did I get here too early? And
- 23:17I just stopped and I looked at him because I didn't get it until afterwards.
- 23:19I'm like, what do you mean? Because I was still getting the
- 23:22table, I was bringing in stuff from the vehicle and you know, other
- 23:25things like that. Plus my clock in my office was a little bit fast,
- 23:29so I changed it, but I was I didn't I didn't get it
- 23:32because I wasn't in that space of trying to feel like I had to defend
- 23:34myself or anything like that. It's like, listen, you're we're on a
- 23:38good time right now. And it's like I always make sure everybody gets their
- 23:42time. I never short their time. Their time is out. Whatever time
- 23:45my hand touches their body, that's when we start. That's when I start
- 23:48my time for the massage time. So because I honored that hour. If
- 23:52they're paying for an hour, I honor that hour. So it's just it's
- 23:56interesting as we're going through and I recognize this a while. Gosh, it's
- 24:00been a long time, probably about ten years ago, because I realized I've
- 24:03been doing massage for ten years now. So before that, I was a
- 24:08detention officer, and I remember going to training and realizing, you know,
- 24:11getting with a group of people and then laughing, laughing and laughing, and
- 24:14I realized I hadn't laughed and forever, hadn't been happy for a long time.
- 24:18And the environment I worked on really, I mean, you might have
- 24:21a couple of little chuckles here and there, but it was never that deep
- 24:22belly laugh. And when I got into that space, I started finding my
- 24:26own happiness and then struggled by trying to keep myself in the space in a
- 24:30relationship. Hey, I love Jim, but I'll tell you, I think
- 24:33a lot of times we were hold we were holding onto our stories and we
- 24:37weren't moving forward from a lot of things. Does that mean that we go
- 24:40and get divorced or you get separated, No, it doesn't mean that.
- 24:42But it's an opportunity for the growth. It's to see those things. And
- 24:45at that time, at that space, I was not able to do that
- 24:48those things because I was feeling the taste of happiness. That's all I wanted
- 24:52to do. So I came back home, packed up my stuff, went
- 24:56to my parents' house. That was the way I handled that ten years ago,
- 25:00or actually it was probably eleven years ago. But it's just interesting that
- 25:04this process and when you look back, it's, you know, sometimes it's
- 25:07the stuff feels so traumatized and it's feel so scary, and and I beat
- 25:11myself up for the longest time for you know, for my relationship with Jim.
- 25:15But I realized it wasn't just being that relationship and neither one of us
- 25:19were growing. We were both in a stagnant place, and that's okay.
- 25:23It wasn't a bad thing, and we were both We're triggered to hell out
- 25:26of each other on a regular basis, So I mean it, all those
- 25:30were opportunities. And until you can get into that space where you can catch
- 25:33your breath, you don't recognize that those are all opportunities. You don't recognize
- 25:37I don't have to pull onto this stuff anymore. You don't recognize I've had
- 25:41to peel so many layers up my defensiveness away to come into a place where
- 25:45I don't understand. I mean, I turn around looked at him. Before
- 25:48I would never said I don't understand what you're saying, what do you mean?
- 25:51Because that would have made me look like I was stupid, and I
- 25:52didn't understand it, but now I just don't understand. And I'm also recognizing
- 25:56it's good that I don't know everything. I don't want to know everything.
- 26:00I don't want to know everybody else's stuff. And then something else I heard
- 26:03too is when we talk about putting labels on ourselves, it's like if we
- 26:06say, oh, I'm an EmPATH, now you've put yourself into a space
- 26:10that you're gonna feel everybody's emotions all the time. You could say I'm ampathic,
- 26:12I'm super sensitive, I'm highly intuitive. You could say a million other
- 26:17things instead of stead of putting yourself in this one label, in this one
- 26:19box. Just like I've talked about before, saying that I'm psychic, or
- 26:22I'm a medium, or I'm this, we're all those things. We don't
- 26:26have to label it. We're here to experience things. We're here to love
- 26:30ourselves regardless of what choices that we've made, to be to do and be
- 26:33better every day. That's what we came here for. We came to be
- 26:38the ripple. Yeah, and the idea I would just want to hit on
- 26:45the idea that you know your client's concerned about the time and you're just like,
- 26:52I don't understand what you mean, not trying to control. Maybe that's
- 26:55something he needs to experience for himself, right, because every retire retired military,
- 27:00absolutely every encounter with a person is an opportunity to learn something about yourself,
- 27:07for sure. And yeah, you know, just planning that scene,
- 27:12like we're good, what's Yeah, it's not not a big deal. They
- 27:22get there to get upset or riled about nothing really, Oh yeah, not
- 27:29saying that I don't get riled about some things occasionally, but that just obviously
- 27:32shows me that there's something going on or it's hey, speak speak your truth,
- 27:37like, speak up for yourself. I've worked on a person's energy recently,
- 27:40and it's like they're totally ignoring everything about their inner child. Like their
- 27:44inner child's like trying to get all this attention and all this body stuff is
- 27:47shown up, and it's getting worse and worse and worse. It's not getting
- 27:51better and you and that goes back to the early Peur conversation. We can
- 27:55get busy, we can find a million distractions because they're out there. We
- 27:57can play video games, we can get high, we can drink, we
- 28:02can obsessively work out, we can it's whatever, it's whatever we want to
- 28:07do, it's it's wherever our mind goes, and if we're in some cases,
- 28:11I feel like maybe it's all I don't know, But I think in
- 28:12some cases when we're holding on to weight, we're because we're holding onto some
- 28:17shit that we don't weren't ready to let go of yet because we don't know
- 28:19it's there until we're triggered, so we know that it's there, right,
- 28:22But then that's the opportunity, or it's just the fact of, hey,
- 28:25how can I be happy? Every day asking how can I be happier than
- 28:29I am right now? How can I be happier than I am right now?
- 28:30And then you constantly ask that you're not You're no longer sitting in all
- 28:33that storm, you're not sitting in your old labels, you're not setting in
- 28:36your old stories that aren't even all true anyways, but you're not setting in
- 28:40it anymore. You don't have to. It's like taking a freaking going and
- 28:44sitting in the koozi chub and in like dirty water like all the time,
- 28:48or you know, mud, and it's not a bad thing either, but
- 28:51you just kind of get the idea that it's not it's not clean and pure,
- 28:55it's it's there. We have opportunities all around us, and it's I
- 29:00feel like a lot of this is really focusing on what makes us happy?
- 29:03How can I be happier? And it's really looking at that and asking those
- 29:07questions all day long and then really being aware of what we're what's coming in
- 29:10our way. When I see numbers, now, I automatically look it up.
- 29:12I don't always clear out my cash or my information on my Facebook or
- 29:18not Facebook, on my Internet on my phone. And so I'm going in
- 29:22there and I'm looking up because I got thirteen three thirteen. So I was
- 29:26looking up the number, and then I was going through clearing out some stuff
- 29:29and I got thirteen thirteen not that long ago, and I'm like, okay,
- 29:32but I spent You know the frequency of the numbers, and I don't
- 29:33wait to see them three or four times or two times. If I see
- 29:37it one time, and I'm in an awareness right now, what am I
- 29:40thinking? I look up that number and I find out what it's, what
- 29:44it means for me right now, So it's there is It's it's faster now
- 29:48because I don't have to wait for all the extra stuff I'm if I ask
- 29:52for signs, I know it's coming faster. It's it's awesome. I meditate,
- 29:57like every time I wake up in the middle of the night, I
- 30:00the thing again like I used to do. And I'm seeing all kinds of
- 30:03faces. I don't even know where they're all from. I'm seeing so much
- 30:06different stuff. I'm having different experiences, and it's it's fun because that's what
- 30:11kind of makes life fun. It gives you like you feel like you're on
- 30:14this journey it's like, and it makes it more magical. It doesn't feel
- 30:17so mundane because our daily tasks can become very mundane. And and that's another
- 30:22thing. It's awesome that I have massages, but it's also stepping putting my
- 30:26foot down and recognizing I don't like to do more than three massages. I
- 30:30prefer to a day, and I only like to do them a few times
- 30:33a week. And that's okay. I don't have I don't have to try
- 30:36to compete with someone else that likes to do eight or nine a day.
- 30:37I don't care. You can kill yourself or if that makes you happy,
- 30:41you do it, but that doesn't do it for me. So it's just
- 30:44it's recognizing all these things that what makes our what floats her boat, what
- 30:48makes me happy, doing the things even in a relationship, doing the things
- 30:52that you want for yourself, being the being what you want in that relationship,
- 30:56How do you want to how do you want your relationship to be,
- 31:00how you want to be in that relationship, be how you want to be
- 31:02treated in that relationship. Have the conversations be loving, because I haven't always
- 31:07been loving, but I have learned a lot and I am much more loving
- 31:11now. And I'm learning and I like it. I like the way the
- 31:15feel of where it's going now. And it's not something that's to be controlled.
- 31:22Yeah, it's something to be experienced. And when you talk about being
- 31:26happy, for a few months, I wasn't happy sitting here working on my
- 31:36business because I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. I didn't feel like
- 31:37I was accomplishing anything. I didn't feel like I was progressing, and the
- 31:42bills were still, you know, balances were still getting higher, and there's
- 31:48a little bit in money in the checkbook, and so I knew I wasn't
- 31:53happy. And even since it's been like thirty days since celebrate my one month
- 32:00anniversary my new job. People have commented on the shift of my energy and
- 32:07how how I've I'm different, and it's because that stressor has been lifted.
- 32:17And so what Bev's saying, you know, is do things that fill you
- 32:24up. And you know, when you're not feeling that happiness or that joy
- 32:30or that that lightness, then something's got to shift. And so take again,
- 32:37your biggest indicator is your body. Your body's going to let you know
- 32:39what's going on. And this taking some time to tune in to what are
- 32:46what are my choices, what are the things that I could do differently?
- 32:52And we've had this conversation that there's an average of seven solutions to every problem.
- 33:00Make the list, even if you don't like the solution, write it
- 33:02down, because that opens you up to other solutions coming and utilize that information
- 33:10to help shift and open the doors. Because because if you're staying in the
- 33:16muck and guck of where you're at, that's what you're going to keep getting
- 33:21muck and guck. And then if you just shift turn your attention to something
- 33:25else, that something else could just open another door. And in thirty days
- 33:32of this new job and releasing that that stress of focusing on am I going
- 33:39to be able to pay my bills? I've got three new clients. Keyword
- 33:45is new. I don't know any of these people. Three new clients.
- 33:49While I take that back, I know one as an acquaintance and they and
- 33:54yesterday referred another person to me. So three people who are becoming clients that
- 34:04I don't even know because I've shifted my focus and I thoroughly am enjoying my
- 34:15job like it's been fun in these thirty days. It doesn't feel like a
- 34:17job. And so that vibrational frequency, if you remember, we talk about
- 34:22vibrational frequency a lot, my vibrational frequency has raised, and now that it's
- 34:29raising, still raising, I'm now attracting people into my business like I haven't.
- 34:37You know, I didn't go get a job just to stop my business.
- 34:40My business is still there. I'm still teaching classes and I'm still I'm
- 34:46still intend to have coaching clients and all that and that just on my business.
- 34:53There's I'm just limited on time right now because I do have a full
- 34:58time job and I still have a household to maintain. So I just fitting
- 35:01that in where I can and still having the opportunity to make or to help
- 35:10people with the direction that they want to move in. And so this is
- 35:17how it works. I know this is how it works. I've known how
- 35:21this is how it works. It was just having I had to to just
- 35:25do something different. And because I took that step, now these other things
- 35:30are happening. I have another lady who's reached out to me who wants me
- 35:34to teach a class, a meditation class or breathing techniques to attorneys. So
- 35:40it's I'm like, how great is this going to get? Because I'm ready
- 35:46now, I've been ready, but I just had to get out of my
- 35:50way and let go. You're holding on to other things, so you've had
- 35:53to let go of those things in order for you to for you to be
- 35:57able to open your hands up to hold on to something or something new as
- 36:00you're no longer like this right, you have your hand open to receive and
- 36:06recognizing each It's a choice. We make choices all the time. We can
- 36:09choose to stay in the mucket guck, or we can make a choice to
- 36:13like go meditate. I can sit and get stressed or anxious and feel those
- 36:16feelings and know immediately that's just that's just my body letting me know, hey,
- 36:22I can keep going this way if you want, that's not a problem.
- 36:24Or we can stop and take a breath. We can stop and close
- 36:28our eyes and we can breathe, or we can meditate for a few minutes.
- 36:30Because I noticed, it's a huge shift, and that's our choice.
- 36:35I believe me, a lot of times I don't make the choice to meditate.
- 36:37I'll make the choice to stay in that space because it's so easy.
- 36:39It's like, I gotta get this done. I gotta get this done.
- 36:42No you don't. You think you do, but you don't, because guess
- 36:45what you drop off the planet today. All those things that you thought you
- 36:47were supposed to do or had to get done doesn't matter anymore. It doesn't
- 36:52matter. So it's like where we putting our energy into and along those lines,
- 36:59I just want to I just want to throw this in there that you
- 37:01know, Bev and I had. Bev was graciously enough to be flexible in
- 37:08changing when we do tea time because I got a job. Typically we would
- 37:14do tea Time on Tuesday morning at ten not available that day, So can
- 37:17we do it on Sunday mornings? And so we do the recording on Sunday
- 37:24morning, and it still posts in social on Thursdays. But that first week
- 37:34that that happened, my life was very tight on time, and I had
- 37:40to pick and choose things that were like really priority, and so typically in
- 37:49pre job, on Thursday morning, I would you know, get to my
- 37:53computer and I would post the tea time in the other areas of Facebook,
- 38:01so on my personal page, my business page, and my group, and
- 38:09and I posted again in our community group, and it automatically posts on our
- 38:15Facebook page Amy and Bev. And then we have a group Amy and Bev
- 38:19Community. Well it already posts because we're streaming this live. We stream it
- 38:23live in the group Amy and Bev Community. But I would still post it
- 38:30again in that group. So that would be my Thursday morning thing. Well,
- 38:36I have a job, and that Thursday morning comes and I kind of
- 38:39stressed out about it. I'm like, oh my gosh, I can't how
- 38:42am I going to get this posted? Well it didn't. It didn't get
- 38:46posted I think until either Friday or Saturday. And the next week I was
- 38:52like, I'll get to it when I can get to it. If they
- 38:55want to see it, Here's what I'm telling you. Go like our Facebook
- 39:00page, or go get into our Facebook group because it will already be in
- 39:07there and you get to see it live if you want so, or otherwise,
- 39:15it's gonna post when it's gonna post. So I've taken that stress off
- 39:21of me. I know it's gonna get out there. And divine timing,
- 39:24right, Divine timing is like, well, you're gonna see it when it's
- 39:29the right moment for you, and you may not see this for another five
- 39:30years. I don't know. It's okay. And my whole thing is I'm
- 39:37not spoon feeding anybody. So I do group two times a month period and
- 39:43I'm not spoon feeding anybody. If anybody wants to make it to group,
- 39:45they show up to group. If anybody wants to come watch tea time with
- 39:49Amy and Bev awesome, because you got to listen to what you want.
- 39:52I can't make people want to make changes in their lives. I can't make
- 39:55them want to show up for themselves. People make excuses all the time.
- 39:59I don't have a ride or whatever. That's fine. There's millions of ways
- 40:01of getting to where you want to get to if you really want to do
- 40:05it right. That's my from my perspective. You do all the advertising and
- 40:08stuff like that. I don't do any advertising. It's just not it's not
- 40:12my nature. It doesn't feel it. I don't resonate with it. It's
- 40:15not my nature. I just don't resonate with it. It doesn't it's not
- 40:17something that resonates with me. And I also know there has been times if
- 40:22I wanted to do something bad enough, I would have shown up, and
- 40:24a lot of times I wouldn't show up because a while while back, I
- 40:28wouldn't show up and I would feel like, well, God, damn it,
- 40:30why did I just go to that? Because I had my own reasons,
- 40:34And now it's not I don't feel that way anymore. I'm going to
- 40:36show up where I need to show up. I sit and I ask my
- 40:38pendulum a lot of questions. I don't even send out if I even send
- 40:42out invitations to people, and if anybody listening, if you want to come
- 40:45mention it, we'll have a conversation. But I don't send out invitations to
- 40:49everyone because it's like a lot of people are contacting me to find out when
- 40:53the next thing is going to go. Hey, Amy, I haven't seen
- 40:57tea time with you guys, where's it at right now? Where can I
- 40:59find it? You've got to reach out, We've got to do We've got
- 41:01to go go after what we want. That's paying attention to what we want,
- 41:06and that goes for not just for me, but it goes for everybody.
- 41:08So if I want to do something, if there's a place that I
- 41:10want to go to in town and I haven't gone to it yet, well
- 41:13that's on me until I could put the focus on doing that. If I
- 41:15want to run around in circles for days and days and days, that's totally
- 41:19up to me. If I want to run around in circles and then wonder
- 41:21why I don't have time to do anything, Why don't have time for anybody?
- 41:23How can I fit this all in? It's it's it's getting into that
- 41:29space of again going back to the happy conversation, being happy and making those
- 41:32decisions, because when you're happy, everything just kind of flows anyways. If
- 41:36it's just kind of flowing, I don't have to try to figure out how
- 41:37I'm going to get the grandkids into my life or how I'm gonna do this.
- 41:40It's going to flow into my life as it's supposed to, not for
- 41:45me to kind of run the show and do everything else. It's just for
- 41:46me to I've got my own things to do. I've got you know,
- 41:50I've got my own focus to work on. I've got me to work on.
- 41:52Because the more that I work on me, the more I write.
- 41:54I can see it in my own family and it's not doing anything. It's
- 41:59it's absolute. It's before you know, the grand baby came, and it's
- 42:02like he was born Wednesday morning at six twenty one? Was it Wednesday whatever
- 42:07twenty first was. Maybe that was Thursday and I remember now, oh,
- 42:09because it started Wednesday evening, that's right. But so I didn't see clients
- 42:15Thursday or Friday. I didn't see anybody. I just canceled them. And
- 42:17before I would never have done that without, oh my god, the inner
- 42:21turmoil I would have had for that. But it's like, you know what,
- 42:23if I'm not available, that gives that person an opportunity to either I'm
- 42:28not saying they have to go find someone else, but to also explore those
- 42:30options that there is someone else, or maybe take some time for themselves,
- 42:34because maybe that's the way they've been taking their time for themselves, and maybe
- 42:37it's time for them to find a new teacher or for them to gravitate to
- 42:39something else. It's not for me to feel like I have to maintain everything
- 42:44for everybody else all the time. And I was doing that. That's why
- 42:46I'm bringing this up, because it was feeling that way and it's fricking heavy.
- 42:50That's heavy shit like fill your solar plexus when you're When you're having that
- 42:52kind of a conversation, it doesn't feel good. So it's being in the
- 42:55space of just honoring that. And if I don't feel like going in,
- 43:00going to cancel my clients. Sorry, it's not that I don't love them,
- 43:01I don't care for them, but I got to care for myself.
- 43:04I've got to love myself more. I do, because if I can't love
- 43:07myself more, I can't love anybody else. The love that I feel now
- 43:10for Freeman is so huge, but it's only because I'm learning how to love
- 43:16myself. And if I didn't love myself, I couldn't love all the people
- 43:21in my life as much as I do right now. It's not possible.
- 43:23It's not possible because I kept everybody in a safe place, because I kept
- 43:28me in a safe place safe, So I wouldn't get hurt if something happens
- 43:31to him. Well, guess what something could happen to him? This is
- 43:35life. That's the way it is. And I'm going to have to grow
- 43:37with that. And it's another growth opportunity when I tell people, and I
- 43:40understand this is the message, when I tell people, it's an opportunity when
- 43:44we when someone transitions, it's an opportunity for us to realize the connection was
- 43:49never severed. It was always there all along, and the only way we
- 43:52can find out is when something like that happens, it creates a great asking
- 43:55within ourselves to propel us forward. All of this. The conversation that we're
- 44:01having is really like you really got to check in with what you resonate with.
- 44:05If you don't know how you're feeling, take a look in your environment.
- 44:07Your kids, let you know how you're feeling by their energy. How
- 44:09are they acting towards you right now? Your animals act funny or maybe like
- 44:14I have six dogs, so they might have start having arguments amongst each other.
- 44:16If there's turmoil with it myself, your vehicle, maybe you're having vehicle
- 44:21problems. There's just so many things that show up in your life, because
- 44:24if you're happy, those things can still show up, but they don't seem
- 44:27to They're like effortless. It's like, oh yeah, just dust that off
- 44:30and it automatically gets fixed. Everything automatically gets taken care of. It's just
- 44:36there is a different flow to everything when we decide to let go and not
- 44:39try to control all aspects of everything. It's amazing and I'm still working on
- 44:45it, and I'm probably gonna be working on it for a while because it's
- 44:46there's layers of it. However long we've been here, how many lives have
- 44:52we been in this in this space? How many times have I I came
- 44:55back to planet Earth or school room Earth so many times over and over and
- 45:00over and over again. And then having all of our ancestral stuff. It's
- 45:05like looking at all that stuff and just loving all that stuff and then taking
- 45:07a look at your inner child. It's like I have someone recently, like
- 45:10I talked about back to the inner child stuff. I'm going to have a
- 45:15conversation with this person coming up, and the conversation is going to be,
- 45:19Hey, this is the information I'm going to supply to you. You've got
- 45:21to do the work. I'm not doing the work. I'm not going to
- 45:22go find the videos that are going to help motivate you. I'm not doing
- 45:25that stuff. I've done it in the past. Now, if I'm watching
- 45:29a video and someone maybe their face slashes in my mind's eye, or hear
- 45:32their name or whatever happens, or maybe they just message me at the same
- 45:36time I'm listening to it, I know that's for them also, it's not
- 45:40just for me. But it's just recognizing those things. And you can't fix
- 45:44people when they don't want to be fixed. And if you think that they're
- 45:46broken, then you better just take a turn around and start looking at yourself
- 45:51again. How are you seeing this as a broken person, Because if you're
- 45:53seeing them from a soul level, they're not broken. They're having an experience,
- 45:58that's all. And they're just mirroring their brokenness to you because you feel
- 46:02like you're broken, but you're not really. I wanting to recognize that exactly,
- 46:08because we're not. We're not even all these things that we're doing right
- 46:12now, we're it's not just for us, it's for the whole collective.
- 46:15It's for the whole planet, it's for the whole universe. It's for everything,
- 46:20everything that we're figuring out to move through it. If we're constantly thinking
- 46:23that we have to fight up fight something because there's something going on in our
- 46:27lives, we're gonna have something to fight. But it's recognizing it doesn't have
- 46:30to have a fight. I would say before becoming neutral, it's coming neutrals.
- 46:34It's another way of saying coming from the soul. If I'm coming from
- 46:37the soul, I'm seeing everything has an opportunity or an experience, and a
- 46:40lot of the stuff that other people are experiencing I'm not experiencing. And there's
- 46:45a reason why. It's not because I'm better than anybody else. It's because
- 46:49I've changed my focus. Nice when you're talking about the boundaries. What came
- 46:55up, you know, and not babysitting people and stuff. What came up
- 46:59was just before we got on here to record this, I saw I had
- 47:02an email I have on my website. I have a contact me a form
- 47:07so if somebody wants to reach out and you know, connect with me,
- 47:10they can leave some information and then get back to them. Well, the
- 47:16form was filled out from somebody who works on websites, and what they were
- 47:21promoting was the idea that when somebody visits my website, I immediately get notified
- 47:31so I can reach out to them, like right now, okay, and
- 47:36I'm and I looked at him, thinking, no, I am human.
- 47:43I have a life, and I teach people how to treat me. So
- 47:52if they think they have immediate access to me, that means anytime day or
- 48:00night, anytime day or night on any day twenty four to seven. I
- 48:06don't operate like that. I'm like, don't unless there is a dire emergency.
- 48:14I'm like kind of still old school. You text me after seven,
- 48:19I'll be contacting you tomorrow or my next business day because I still have things
- 48:24to do in my own life. And you know, when we think about
- 48:29it, you see this with actors, actresses, people of that are well
- 48:36known, your content, really popular content creators. They just they can't go
- 48:42out into public and be a person. They're always having their picture taken,
- 48:46They're always having people interrupt them, They're always having people all up in their
- 48:51business. And it's like, we, yeah, those are our jobs,
- 48:57and we still get to be human. We still get to have a life,
- 49:00we still get to spend time with our family, we still get to
- 49:02spend time with that daughter who's in labor, having your grandchild, Like,
- 49:07we still get to have these experiences too, and you you teach people how
- 49:14to treat you, and so yeah, boundaries are super important. And also
- 49:19recognizing babysitting people in this that was something else that was stirring in me with
- 49:25my business is babysitting people. I'm like, you're fifty fucking years old.
- 49:32Why are we still babysitting you? Why are you not taking responsibility to find
- 49:37the information? You have access to the internet, You have access to my
- 49:42website. You have the same access to everything that I do. Why are
- 49:47we still doing this? Why are we not taking more responsibility for our own
- 49:52life and our changes and reaching out to get the information or getting help and
- 50:00still staying stuck in the crap. So I'm like, great, I'm with
- 50:07you. Do I do the marketing, Yes, I do the marketing,
- 50:09and I have my own person, I own my own purposes. Yes,
- 50:14But the whole babysitting people, And I think too, BEV that that comes
- 50:19from us as having to grow up so quickly in our childhood and being quote
- 50:23unquote independent and figuring stuff out and being in that survival mode like we have
- 50:30those qualities in us, which is great. That's what childhood taught us.
- 50:36Great. We take the responsibility for our life and we take the time to
- 50:42seek out what we want. And uh so I think that has you know,
- 50:47that independence was a great value for us. But those people who grew
- 50:52up who were coddled, Mom did everything for them, and you know,
- 50:57and now they need somebody to hold their hand through everything. It's like,
- 51:00uh no, let's let's let's change that. Let's let's get out of our
- 51:06comfort zone a little bit and let's do things a little different because I still
- 51:10have a house to clean, dishes, to do laundry, to do my
- 51:15you know, my own bookkeeping, for my own personal finances to do to
- 51:19run a business now with a full time job. Like you got to step
- 51:23it up, people, I'm telling you. And it feels good to say
- 51:28that out loud. No, we's yeah, it's empowering, it's taking your
- 51:35power back. And I think because training, training is the thing, a
- 51:37lot of these people are going outside of themselves and you know it's easy,
- 51:44it's not easy. We we have different training, so now we can see
- 51:47things in someone else that they could. It's an opportunity for them to grow.
- 51:51They could they could take these make these choices, and their lives could
- 51:53be a lot easier or a lot better. But for the first part of
- 51:57my life, I didn't want to go that right And I think I chose
- 52:00that path to be like that, and I'm not upset about it. Before
- 52:04I would have been bothered by it, But I chose that path to be
- 52:07who I am right now. I chose that. I didn't choose an easy
- 52:09path for a reason, because I wanted to grow, and I wanted to
- 52:13have other experiences, because I have a better understanding for other people, not
- 52:16even during this experience in this physical body, but in the for me after
- 52:22I'm no longer in this physical body. It's for all of us. It's
- 52:27to be in that space. It's to even though that my grandfather hadn't molested
- 52:31me, to even love him. I couldn't love him from the space of
- 52:36a human here, but from a soul level, I will always love him.
- 52:39There will be no separation. He is one of my guys, and
- 52:44I know this, But it's like in Gosh, when you think about that
- 52:49in such a different way, I guess if I had to go through something
- 52:52like that, it's better to know that on the other side, that we
- 52:54had this sole plan, that we had this you know, this growth process
- 53:00as to have these experiences so that I could have an understanding about what somebody
- 53:02else had experienced over and in my case, I feel like mine's mild compared
- 53:07to others what they've experienced. But it's it's all been to it's been to
- 53:13spur me into the person that I am right now, and then also knowing
- 53:16when we feel like we're stuck, there's opportunities. You can come talk to
- 53:20us. You can have reiki treatments, you can have acupressure, you can
- 53:22have acupuncture. I'm going and getting the treatment done in October. October tenth,
- 53:27she scheduled it, which is my mother's birthdays. Which is another sign
- 53:30for me that I know this is the right thing, because why because it
- 53:32shows up in my experience now that one. I did wait for it to
- 53:36come up a few times before I before I stepped into it to do something
- 53:39about it. Numerous times it's been in my face because I know this suit
- 53:45that I'm in right now has energy that is stuck in certain places, and
- 53:49it's like going in and having your robot work done to kind of get the
- 53:52wiring all fixed up again so that everything's flowing smoothly again. That's what I'm
- 53:55going to do. That's what I'm going to go do, and I want
- 54:00when I talk about it, when I think about it, I get emotional
- 54:01because I know that I'm going to have such a huge response from this,
- 54:05because my body's not going to be all plugged up anymore. My computer,
- 54:08my suit, whatever you want to call it, my robot, you know
- 54:13what I mean, all these things. It's not something that I have to
- 54:15be caught up into, but I have an opportunity for that growth to release
- 54:17things. I no longer want to carry this stuff anymore, and I'm I'm
- 54:21ready to let it go. I'm ready to be I'm ready to let everybody
- 54:23go. Honestly, I'm I am. So however that looks, that's fine.
- 54:30I'm not going to hold onto anything because whatever's supposed to be in my
- 54:32experience is going to be in my experience. Those are the people that are
- 54:36going to be in my experience. And we know that those things change.
- 54:38But it's just like for you if we were holding onto stuff, clients or
- 54:42anything like that, which I have done as well, and I'm learning to
- 54:45let go. I'm just letting go of them because it's not my job to
- 54:49walk with them this whole way if they want to come, because because they
- 54:52can still come see us at amy and or tea time, they can still
- 54:55come see us to group, they can still sign up for your classes,
- 54:59they can beat you where you're wherever you're doing things that there's always the opportunity
- 55:05that's right there. It's just whatever they want to do. It's not too
- 55:07we're accommodating. So we're there, we show up, and it's this opportunity
- 55:12for someone else to show up and decide that they want to be there or
- 55:14not. And it's been that's been a learning because when we're talking about people
- 55:16pleasers and fixers and all that stuff, and realizing I don't have to those
- 55:21weren't my titles. I don't have to claim that anymore. I can just
- 55:23be whatever BEV wants to be. And I'm not even BEV. Like I'm
- 55:28listening to Jim Carrey talking yesterday and I don't remember what movie he I can't
- 55:32remember the guy's name that he played the character of, and he got so
- 55:36involved in the character he lost who Jim Carrey was, and then he realized,
- 55:42Jim Carrey is just another person, just like this other Andy krafftman.
- 55:45I think that's who he was, the the actor, but he when he
- 55:49lost himself in that, he realized, well, who am I? And
- 55:52it's like he even said, I'm not Jim Carrey, I'm not Bev,
- 55:55You're not Amy. We came in here to play a role. We're playing
- 55:58a part to have these experiences and it's freaking That's probably a lot for some
- 56:02people, but it really it kind of takes a load off. It's like,
- 56:07you don't have to know all your words. The words are gonna come.
- 56:10You don't have to know your part. You're just gonna go out and
- 56:14be and you're gonna do your parts and you're going to experience it without controlling
- 56:20anything. And that's relieving. That's like, oh great, that means I
- 56:24can't do anything wrong because I'm really just coming here to have an experience and
- 56:28I'm really coming here. I'm just in my role right now in my Veverrol.
- 56:31But that doesn't identify who I am. I am so much more than
- 56:35Bev. You're so much more than Amy. Where we limit ourselves by all
- 56:39these things and these labels and our names are labels too, and it's okay
- 56:44to be in that space and to honor that space, but also know that
- 56:47you're so much bigger and you're so much more and when you let go of
- 56:51all that wanting to control all that and be all that and try to be
- 56:54what everybody else wants you to be, and life is easy. Well,
- 57:00when you said, you know people pleaser and fix her and all that stuff,
- 57:04those were all survival skills and they served a purpose and we needed those
- 57:07skills. Really, we needed those skills, and so we were given the
- 57:13opportunity to learn them. And did it suck? But for me yeah,
- 57:16mostly for most people. Yeah, that's answers. Yes, it sucked the
- 57:22how we learn them. But at the same time, it's recognizing, oh,
- 57:28I'm still doing it fifty Yeah, And it's also recognizing we've had the
- 57:32experience of it, so we can see it in others. So when they
- 57:36come to us for help, it's just like the molestation. It's just like
- 57:37everything else. Yeah, So we take you know, BEV and i's taking
- 57:43the time to recognize it, do some healing around it. We're setting boundaries
- 57:46where you know, we're at that space like I don't want to hold your
- 57:50hand. I just don't And I will be a resource in the best way
- 57:55I can. But you know what, put the class on your schedule.
- 58:00You know what we've been doing tea time for three and a half years.
- 58:02You know when it's available. It's available Sunday live in our group on Facebook,
- 58:13and it's out there on social media later in the week. So you
- 58:17put that on your calendar and take responsibility for it. You know what we
- 58:22do. Bev's a massage therapist. She has this group, she does these
- 58:25different things. You could reach out to her. You know, I do
- 58:29things. I teach classes, I coach, I do reiki sessions. They
- 58:31do all this stuff too. Reach out to me. But the survival skills
- 58:39that we learned were so vitally important, and now we've done a huge process
- 58:46of healing those wounds of how we learned those skills that now those skills are
- 58:54vitally important in the massage therapy, in the coaching, in classes, in
- 59:00group and now I mean even ed my Lette talks about it. With his
- 59:06alcoholic father, he had to listen to the keys jingling outside the door to
- 59:12determine if his dad was drunk or not. Now he has exceptionally good listening
- 59:16skills, but he had to heal those wounds he had. He went through
- 59:21a forgiveness process with his dad and their relationship changed and his dad got sobered.
- 59:28And so the skills that you learn are still important. Now is to
- 59:35decide how are you going to utilize them in a different way that is beneficial
- 59:43for the growth of yourself and others instead of attached to a victim story.
- 59:49And again that all contributes to emotional weight. All of it, everything we
- 59:53talk, everything we can talk about, affects the body. And if it
- 59:59does affect your if you are it could be you're completely stressed out and you
- 1:00:05don't eat and you're not taking care of you could drop weight like in an
- 1:00:09unhealthy way. And the opposite is true. You can be completely stressed out,
- 1:00:15be an emotional eater and gain a bunch of weight. So you know,
- 1:00:20it's just coming back to listening to your body, recognizing what's going on
- 1:00:23with your body. Sit down and write that letter to yourself from your body,
- 1:00:28just so you can get somewhat of an understanding. And maybe you need
- 1:00:30to do that process several times just to start developing that relationship with your body
- 1:00:36so you can listen and you can make changes. And if you're going to
- 1:00:38make changes, put the stuff on your calendar. Schedule it in. Yeah,
- 1:00:45because you have to take time for yourself if someone else can't do it.
- 1:00:47I don't remind clients of their appointments. I do not if they send
- 1:00:52me a message and say, hey, I just want to confirm. Now.
- 1:00:53Have I messed up on the calendar a couple of times? Yeah,
- 1:00:57I actually have. I'm not perfect, but I'm I'm okay with that.
- 1:01:01Life happens and there's always reason that it happened that way. Anyways. It's
- 1:01:05not to sit and beat ourselves up about it. It just means that something
- 1:01:07different was supposed to happen at that time. It's not to beat ourselves up.
- 1:01:12And like I said, I don't. I don't typically remind clients of
- 1:01:15their appointments if they can't maintain or there. You said a long time ago
- 1:01:19to me, you're gonna do what's important to you always. So if it's
- 1:01:22important to you're gonna put it on your calendar. I'm not babysitting people.
- 1:01:25We got to do what we've got to gravitate to what's important to us.
- 1:01:29We've got it, we've got to have we have to be our own advocate.
- 1:01:31I told that to someone recently. I'm going out of my way to
- 1:01:35sit up an appointment and times I don't normally see a client, and I
- 1:01:38had to remind She's like, oh, no, I can't ask you you
- 1:01:42that. I said, hey, I'm offering, I'm offering this to you,
- 1:01:45but you've got to be your own advocate. I can't do it for
- 1:01:47you. I wouldn't offered it otherwise. So she kept She went ahead and
- 1:01:52agreed, and we were maintaining that conversation so nice. It's because people have
- 1:01:59to do what's important them because if we walk them along all the way,
- 1:02:00what happens when we're not here anymore. They can't do it. They don't
- 1:02:06they're lost. And it's not for them to be lost. It's for them
- 1:02:07to have an understanding that they gained something from us, so they can see
- 1:02:12themselves and quit hiding from themselves and trying to put the blame on everybody else.
- 1:02:16Yeah, it's to change things, creating boundaries and if you know,
- 1:02:22protecting your own energy and if you were a bird, mama, bird's gonna
- 1:02:25kick you out of the nest, and you either in the out of the
- 1:02:28nest, and either you fly or you drop. It's true, we'll see
- 1:02:34you in your next life. We take things too seriously. And and when
- 1:02:42you think about it, talking about being happy, happy and series aren't in
- 1:02:45the same place, just not And and I mentioned so just really, I
- 1:02:51just want to say this real quick. We're at our hour and and uh,
- 1:02:54just real quick. I wanted to throw in there that I you know,
- 1:02:59I strongly believe that like deja voo moments are just like signposts that were
- 1:03:05on our path and I hadn't had one. Like I get the numbers all
- 1:03:07the time, and I love the numbers that I love looking them up and
- 1:03:10seeing, you know, like you were talking about earlier, where you're at,
- 1:03:14what's going on? What are you thinking about? And that's kind of
- 1:03:16an indicator. So I'll do the same thing. I look up numbers.
- 1:03:21And I've still been seeing my numbers, the four four four and six two
- 1:03:24four, and I just smile. I'm like, of course, you know,
- 1:03:27and just but the dejah voo moments, I have not had one in
- 1:03:30a long time, and this was just just crack me up that I was
- 1:03:34at work yesterday Friday. So it's Sunday right now, So Friday was at
- 1:03:38work, and that dejah Voo moment was me walking into the bathroom at work,
- 1:03:45and I just I'm like, of course this would be one. It
- 1:03:51was just funny and I was like, ooh, yay, okay, this
- 1:03:57was meant to be. And then we're good. We're good, good,
- 1:04:00be great. So and you're funny of bringing up dejah vous. When my
- 1:04:03daughter was having Huxley, she had a dejah vous moment while we were in
- 1:04:09there, and it's like, that's awesome. Just you just know that you're
- 1:04:11on the right path. I go, I just I don't know. It's
- 1:04:15just amazing how you introduce another family member into the family and how it changes.
- 1:04:20It creates such a balance where balance was needed. It's gonna be an
- 1:04:28amazing journey. I'm sure it is. It already has been a knowledge tis
- 1:04:34absolutely all of it is right, It is all of it. So all
- 1:04:40right, my friends, we want to thank you for sure for being with
- 1:04:44us, tea time with Amy and Bev, your time, your energy,
- 1:04:46and we you know, of course, we know you could be doing anything
- 1:04:50else with this hour of your life and you chose to hang out with us,
- 1:04:55So thank you so much. And again, as I mentioned, we
- 1:04:59are Facebook. We have a Facebook page, we have a Facebook group,
- 1:05:02and look us up and come join us. Like the page, join the
- 1:05:08group, and connect with us in other ways. Bev mentions she has a
- 1:05:13group meets every two weeks or twice a month, and so it's very important.
- 1:05:17It's supportive. It's a great way to get that non judgmental support and
- 1:05:26be with like minded people to be able to talk about things that might be
- 1:05:30weighing heavy, that's creating that emotional weight. I you know, I do
- 1:05:34coaching and classes, so pick what works for you and whatever works for you
- 1:05:40in that moment, and you can try different things, different people, but
- 1:05:44do something for yourself to start easing up that stress that you that you've been
- 1:05:48harboring in your body for so long. So do you have any final words,
- 1:05:54beb, you know, just really stop and take some time for yourself,
- 1:05:58really looking at yourself and it's it's okay. It seems like it's hard
- 1:06:02at first, but it's okay. And also I want to mention someone was
- 1:06:05saying that it's really hard to find us actually on YouTube because we use the
- 1:06:10and symbol, so that's instead of using the word, and so I just
- 1:06:15wanted to point that out, so it says Tea Time with Amy and Bev,
- 1:06:16and it's the symbol instead of the word. So that'll make it a
- 1:06:20little bit easier if you are having a struggle finding us. That was just
- 1:06:23pointed out to me just recently, and I didn't even think about it.
- 1:06:27I would never even have processed that being an issue because I find it easily.
- 1:06:30So I don't know, and you've been on YouTube if you look up
- 1:06:33Amy and Beev community, that's another way to find us. That's actual the
- 1:06:40channel, and then our podcast is Tea Time with Amy and Bev. So
- 1:06:45those were learning curves when I set everything up. It was in my early
- 1:06:49stages of this staff. So I don't know that I can change that.
- 1:06:54I haven't looked into it. I've just left it alone. But that's why
- 1:06:58I find it important. I mean, it's on Spotify, our iHeartRadio,
- 1:07:01Google podcast, podcast Addict, and then all over Facebook, so it's like
- 1:07:09there's no reason why other than the hand sign that would be the only thing.
- 1:07:15And I don't know if that would even change it because it's like if
- 1:07:16there's I go back to the same conversation. If you're meant to find that
- 1:07:20this is where if this is what resonates with you, if it resonates with
- 1:07:25your soul, you're going to find it. Anyways, it doesn't matter.
- 1:07:27But I just wanted to point that out just for people. I wouldn't go
- 1:07:30change any of that stuff. I believe it just the way it is.
- 1:07:32And then, like we talked about the responsibility ask the question, Hey,
- 1:07:35how do I find you? I'm not being able to I can't find you,
- 1:07:38Guys, how do I find you? And you can send the link?
- 1:07:41I can send the link, right, So that's part of that.
- 1:07:45If you want the information and you desire it, you'll find a way to
- 1:07:48get it. And great way to do that is ask questions. And it's
- 1:07:53true. And I wanted to point out because on the bottom of my list,
- 1:07:56I was like trying to read my writing, like what what did I
- 1:07:58asking questions? If you don't know how to ask questions, if you don't
- 1:08:00know what questions to ask at just say I don't know what questions to ask.
- 1:08:03Help me out to ask questions that are that are going to bring the
- 1:08:06things that I really intend to bring into my experience, like ask questions.
- 1:08:12You don't have to. We don't have all the answers, but we have
- 1:08:15connection to all the answers, and you can ask the universe, the universe.
- 1:08:20That's what I mean. How yeah, how do I how do I
- 1:08:23get this podcast? I can't find this podcast of Amy and Bevin. You
- 1:08:26know what's gonna happen? Like if you if you're on social media, you
- 1:08:30can guarantee you're gonna scroll up a little bit and there we are. Yeah,
- 1:08:33someone's gonna send it. Yeah, someone will send it out to you
- 1:08:36right now. Or yeah, it always shows up when you ask. But
- 1:08:40it's just asking us questions. Someone asks, I didn't clarify, But when
- 1:08:43you're asking, I ask Holy Spirit, I ask God, I asked the
- 1:08:46Creator, I ask my guys, I asked my angel whatever I feel like
- 1:08:49doing at that time. Yeah, and I don't say I have second guests
- 1:08:53that I don't second guess it anymore. Like if I say, okay,
- 1:08:56oh no, I didn't mean to ask for angels. No, yes you
- 1:08:58did, because you said angels first, and then your mind got into it
- 1:09:00real quick and tried to change where you were going with the whole path.
- 1:09:03It's like, no, just go along with what first came to you.
- 1:09:08The universe is there to help us and co create with us, and they
- 1:09:11always have access to them always. That's right, all right, my friends,
- 1:09:15Thanks for hanging out with us, Tea time with Amy and Bev,
- 1:09:17and we'll see you next time. Bye,
