- 1:24Speaker 3: favorite money wins. Ms Beck Sayed has a number of
- 1:27Speaker 3: killer Broke tips. This week, we're going to be helping
- 1:30Speaker 3: to answer a money dilemma that is all about stressing
- 1:33Speaker 3: about your parents' money situation in retirement. I get it.
- 1:37Speaker 3: And something you slid into our DMS about this week.
- 1:40Speaker 3: What do you do when a couple in your bridal
- 1:43Speaker 3: party are you one thousand dollars for Hens and Bucks
- 1:46Speaker 3: party accommodation that they opted into knowing it was at
- 1:50Speaker 3: their own cost, and are now saying that they can't
- 1:52Speaker 3: afford to feedback?
- 1:54Speaker 4: Oh? No, oh?
- 1:55Speaker 3: Do you know what My favorite type of drummer is?
- 1:57Speaker 4: Wedding druma yeah, hours any that I'm not involved in.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah, And I don't want you, like, if you're going
- 2:06Speaker 3: to tell me the dramma, I don't want it to
- 2:07Speaker 3: be like your drummer.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I want you to be telling me the gossip from
- 2:10Speaker 3: like John down.
- 2:10Speaker 4: The street, like third hand.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I'm like, God, is that really what he did? I
- 2:13Speaker 3: don't even know him. That's crazy. Like that's what I want.
- 2:16Speaker 3: But before we get into that, because like, we can
- 2:18Speaker 3: talk about wedding drama gossip later. Would you like to
- 2:21Speaker 3: set the tone? Would you like a five star review?
- 2:24Speaker 3: I would love for right this review came from our
- 2:28Speaker 3: friend Tamara, who slid into our DMS and said, Hi,
- 2:32Speaker 3: I wanted to leave a five star review, but I
- 2:34Speaker 3: actually couldn't figure out how to do so. So I've
- 2:36Speaker 3: just decided to send you guys a message. I am
- 2:39Speaker 3: truly grateful to have come across this powerful community. I've
- 2:42Speaker 3: learned so much, so much so that I now share
- 2:45Speaker 3: it with the people around me, which feels incredible. V
- 2:48Speaker 3: You've taught me how to understand my finances, how to
- 2:51Speaker 3: speak up at work, and how to ask for what
- 2:54Speaker 3: I deserve. Jess, you've taught me how to see things
- 2:57Speaker 3: from other people's perspectives, how to be genuinely kinder, and
- 3:01Speaker 3: how to recognize my worth in the workplace. And Beck,
- 3:05Speaker 3: You've showed me that staying in a job that doesn't
- 3:07Speaker 3: value me is not worth it, and that no matter what,
- 3:11Speaker 3: I'll be fine. I've recently resigned from my job and
- 3:14Speaker 3: I've decided to visit family overseas before I even start
- 3:17Speaker 3: looking for a new role. I could not be more
- 3:19Speaker 3: relaxed about it. I know I'm capable, I have financial security,
- 3:23Speaker 3: and I truly believe good things happen to good people.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Yes Tomorrow, Tomara usual.
- 3:29Speaker 4: I want to be like you. It sounds like you
- 3:31Speaker 4: are living your best empowered life as you deserve.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I just love people. I love our community. I just
- 3:37Speaker 3: love that you were like, oh, I tried to leave
- 3:40Speaker 3: a review, couldn't work it out, but like, let's just
- 3:42Speaker 3: message you girl. We listen and we read every single
- 3:45Speaker 3: message that comes through. We do reply to every single
- 3:49Speaker 3: one of them. It's my favorite thing ever. Takes a
- 3:52Speaker 3: lot of time, but I think it's worth it because
- 3:54Speaker 3: we love you.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Thank you tomorrow. That is so nice?
- 3:57Speaker 3: Is it's so sweet?
- 3:58Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 3:58Speaker 4: Do you want to leave a review and you're trying
- 3:59Speaker 4: fee it out? It is on the Apple podcast app.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Do you just go to the Apple podcast app, you
- 4:04Speaker 4: search up the Shoes and the Money podcast, scroll down
- 4:06Speaker 4: to the bottom and that's you can leave your review
- 4:08Speaker 4: there or can leave a comment on Spotify. We read
- 4:10Speaker 4: those two.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You can dm us.
- 4:11Speaker 4: We'll take what we can get.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You tell all your friends, like, in fact, my favorite
- 4:16Speaker 3: isn't reviews. It's when you say I've been telling all
- 4:18Speaker 3: my friends because like we're just spreading the financial literacy is.
- 4:23Speaker 6: Growing.
- 4:25Speaker 3: We need to get better at running a cult because
- 4:26Speaker 3: it's not benefiting us in the way that a cult.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Should you know? We'll work on that maybe twenty twenty
- 4:31Speaker 3: seven goals. But question of the week are you ready ready?
- 4:35Speaker 3: This is my favorite part of the week. You guys
- 4:37Speaker 3: get to ask us one question you are dying to know.
- 4:40Speaker 3: It could be literally anything, And this one is from Carli,
- 4:43Speaker 3: who wants to know if you could instantly master any skill,
- 4:47Speaker 3: what would you choose? Oh?
- 4:49Speaker 6: Sing?
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yes, that's so random from me. I yes, I grew
- 4:53Speaker 4: up with a lot of Filipino friends, and I know
- 4:55Speaker 4: what it is in the blood of every single one
- 4:58Speaker 4: of them can sing. Ye voice of an a. I
- 5:01Speaker 4: just I don't know what it is. But in my head,
- 5:03Speaker 4: people who can sing or even just like vaguely carry
- 5:06Speaker 4: a tune are good humans, like they live better lives.
- 5:09Speaker 4: I don't know what it is.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 5:11Speaker 4: I wanted to and I you guys, sound like a
- 5:14Speaker 4: dying cat like I can't not a single I want
- 5:17Speaker 4: to hear it.
- 5:17Speaker 3: You and I want a lot when I sing a
- 5:20Speaker 3: lot of Taylor Swift in the car and I've never
- 5:22Speaker 3: noticed your voice like the very loud, but I get that.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Yeah, if I just know the reason other than I
- 5:29Speaker 4: just think it would be really fun.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I don't want to say the same thing,
- 5:33Speaker 7: but just really really reminded me of Paris Hilton. You
- 5:35Speaker 7: know how she's talking about how she grew up with
- 5:37Speaker 7: a lot of Filipino friends, and she's like really randomly
- 5:39Speaker 7: her words where she was like talking about Filipino specific
- 5:43Speaker 7: things and her words would switch to having like a
- 5:46Speaker 7: Filipino accent.
- 5:47Speaker 4: That's hilarious.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Give a picture picture.
- 5:50Speaker 4: My friends are the same. They would drop in and
- 5:51Speaker 4: out hilarious.
- 5:53Speaker 7: So I have absolutely the same vein as you because
- 5:55Speaker 7: that's what I love the limelight, and so I feel
- 5:57Speaker 7: like what better way to capture attention and something that
- 6:01Speaker 7: I've always wanted to do is just like just like
- 6:04Speaker 7: it's so cool to be able to sing.
- 6:06Speaker 3: It is just so cool. So because you've taken.
- 6:08Speaker 7: That one, I'm going to say it's really boring. But honestly,
- 6:11Speaker 7: it's like an instagram. I think drums. There's something about
- 6:14Speaker 7: drums that's like so hot, you know, and so you
- 6:16Speaker 7: are up there, but you're still a little bit sheltered.
- 6:18Speaker 7: There's not a lot of pressure on you. There's more
- 6:20Speaker 7: pressure on the people at the front. So I think drums.
- 6:23Speaker 7: I'm gonna say drums.
- 6:24Speaker 4: That's a fun one.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Starving bad guys. I grew up singing a lot of
- 6:32Speaker 3: sing star with my sister, Yes, so that I could
- 6:35Speaker 3: be in the band. I'm not very good, but I
- 6:37Speaker 3: was very good at singing star and sometimes that meant
- 6:40Speaker 3: humming at the right tone to get And I bet.
- 6:43Speaker 4: You did a great job of it.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I bet you the system my lad too. Can I
- 6:48Speaker 3: have two?
- 6:48Speaker 4: Of course?
- 6:49Speaker 3: So my first year is just delusion. I would love
- 6:52Speaker 3: to master delusion of confidence. I would like to just
- 6:55Speaker 3: be so wildly confident like that I never questioned myself
- 7:00Speaker 3: and I think that that would be really cool. Can
- 7:01Speaker 3: you imagine just like mastering confidence. But there's a point
- 7:05Speaker 3: where you you I don't want arrogance, No, you want
- 7:08Speaker 3: to yeah, yeah, I want to be so self aware,
- 7:11Speaker 3: but like so confident that like when I'm like no,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm putting this out or no, I'm starting this because
- 7:16Speaker 3: like I get such bad analysis proalysis. I think that
- 7:19Speaker 3: would be cool. And then I also want to master
- 7:21Speaker 3: the art of putting things away where I actually meant
- 7:23Speaker 3: to get them away. Yes, still it's going to be
- 7:26Speaker 3: a skill. I want to be able to put things
- 7:28Speaker 3: back where I got them from oh did you get
- 7:30Speaker 3: the scissors out of the drawer to do one thing? Victoria?
- 7:32Speaker 3: They didn't need to go down the hallway and end
- 7:34Speaker 3: up in your office. Where did you leave your keys?
- 7:36Speaker 3: I always would.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Know, got both, no, tag is all I can say.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I would always know. So yeah, it's just being able
- 7:43Speaker 3: to put things in their place.
- 7:45Speaker 4: These are two very good ones. Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 3: The delusional confidence. I don't want it to like teeter
- 7:52Speaker 3: into arrogance. That's not what we want. But like I
- 7:54Speaker 3: just want to be like, no, I've got this, Like
- 7:56Speaker 3: imagine not even questioning yourself. That would be so I
- 8:00Speaker 3: can't imagine. But again, all right, absolutely, good job guys.
- 8:04Speaker 3: We're starting a band and we're going to be really
- 8:06Speaker 3: confident about it. If you've got a question that you
- 8:09Speaker 3: are dying for us to answer, leave it in the comments.
- 8:12Speaker 3: We want to know, and also DM us your questions
- 8:15Speaker 3: so that we can answer them maybe on the show.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Miss just greatch Yes, Community money wins and confessions? What
- 8:22Speaker 3: have you got?
- 8:23Speaker 4: First of this week, I've got one from Rachel who said,
- 8:25Speaker 4: huge win for me. I finally reached one thousand dollars saved.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Living on Center Link is hard, but I have done it.
- 8:31Speaker 4: And I just wanted to say, see you. That's very exciting, incredible,
- 8:35Speaker 4: every little bit counts, and incredible that you've hit one thousand.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Now next goal, keep going.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Absolutely, that's so good.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Next, I've got a money win it from Jess great name,
- 8:45Speaker 4: who said she finally had the time, space and energy
- 8:47Speaker 4: to do a deep dive into learning about investing shares
- 8:50Speaker 4: and ETFs and she set herself up with a Vanguard
- 8:53Speaker 4: portfolio and budgeted a weekly amount to contribute. And then
- 8:56Speaker 4: she said, thank you, She's in the money for your
- 8:57Speaker 4: incredible podcast and resources to make it all feel overwhelming, beautiful,
- 9:02Speaker 4: well done. It was really exciting. Rihanna said money when
- 9:06Speaker 4: she did a favor for some friends on the weekend
- 9:08Speaker 4: and she dogs that and then as a thank you,
- 9:10Speaker 4: they baked her the most delicious fresh sour dough bread.
- 9:13Speaker 4: It was so soft and so yummy, and she said,
- 9:15Speaker 4: what goes around really does come around, beautiful. Sweet. I've
- 9:20Speaker 4: said this before, I'm pro favor for favor. When did
- 9:23Speaker 4: we stop doing favors? You know, I know, just hold
- 9:26Speaker 4: people out and it doesn't village.
- 9:28Speaker 3: You need to be a villager.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Absolutely. I literally could not agree with that more. And
- 9:33Speaker 4: then last of this week, I have money from me.
- 9:35Speaker 4: I'm taking a leaf out of that book, if that's
- 9:37Speaker 4: all right. I saw that one pass have a really
- 9:40Speaker 4: good deal on right now, and you guys will know
- 9:42Speaker 4: how we feel about one.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Point when don't they have a good deal though, Sorry,
- 9:45Speaker 3: all of my shipping is free.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I saved so much. Actually I did pull it up
- 9:49Speaker 4: to share with you. We'll get to that. We'll get
- 9:51Speaker 4: to that. So for anyone who's doing like back to
- 9:53Speaker 4: school shopping, getting ready to go back to work, anything
- 9:57Speaker 4: like that at the moment, if you get a one
- 9:59Speaker 4: pass annual membership which is forty dollars and that lasts
- 10:01Speaker 4: you the whole year, you get a twenty dollars one
- 10:04Speaker 4: pass reward to spend it Officeworks. So I feel like
- 10:07Speaker 4: we're all buying bits and pieces for the office, for school,
- 10:09Speaker 4: whatever at this time of year, so it's perfect to
- 10:11Speaker 4: redeem for that. Yes, if you haven't heard of one Pass,
- 10:14Speaker 4: A quick recap for everybody. It's a program that has
- 10:16Speaker 4: a whole bunch of rewards that ties into places that
- 10:19Speaker 4: we all love to shop, Kmart.
- 10:21Speaker 8: Target, Bunning's Office Works, the whole The list goes on,
- 10:25Speaker 8: and so now price linees included and also wildly instant scripts,
- 10:29Speaker 8: which is so so the online Yeah, very cool, right good,
- 10:32Speaker 8: But I sho didn't say.
- 10:33Speaker 3: That coming, No, I certainly didn't.
- 10:35Speaker 4: The perks include free shipping on eligible online orders from
- 10:38Speaker 4: all of your favorite stores, and also five times Flybys
- 10:41Speaker 4: points on eligible orders as well, which is crazy.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Uncapped uncapped is insane? Yeah, crazy, Like I've done not
- 10:50Speaker 3: a lot of maths on this, but a little bit
- 10:51Speaker 3: of mental maths, and that doesn't make financial sense for them.
- 10:54Speaker 3: But I'm like, I don't know why you're offering this,
- 10:58Speaker 3: but I'm gonna take it absolutely.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Over Christmas, I saved eighty dollars and eighty cents, oh
- 11:04Speaker 4: my little things on your free delivery, just on free
- 11:06Speaker 4: delivery alone rate, and I collected thirty thousand, seven hundred
- 11:11Speaker 4: and fifty two bonus points thanks to the five times fly.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Bys stop it. You've obviously spent a lot more than
- 11:18Speaker 3: me because I got my app up as well, because
- 11:20Speaker 3: I was like, if you're getting your app up, I'm
- 11:21Speaker 3: getting my app up. I've got fourteen, four hundred and
- 11:24Speaker 3: six points from mine, and I've saved sixty bucks with
- 11:28Speaker 3: free shipping.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Literally how good that for me? That's worth one hundred
- 11:32Speaker 4: and fifty three flybys dollars that I could redeemed for
- 11:34Speaker 4: like grocery Une seventy two.
- 11:36Speaker 3: That's crazy seventy two dollars just by making sure that
- 11:40Speaker 3: I'm signed up.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Yeah, so I paid my day my forty dollars for
- 11:43Speaker 4: the yar and then I've basically made one hundred fifty dollars.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Not exactly how it.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Works, but shopping, we're making money.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Literally totally. It's a great time. If you want to
- 11:52Speaker 4: sign up, get that twenty dollars one pass reward to
- 11:54Speaker 4: spend office worked. I'll pop a link in the show
- 11:56Speaker 4: notes if anyone wants to go check it out.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I will say it is humbling because you do go
- 12:00Speaker 3: to the app and it does tell you what your
- 12:01Speaker 3: recent activity was. And I was like, I do like
- 12:03Speaker 3: an online game modul, don't I I do?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Though, I really do.
- 12:08Speaker 4: You're loud.
- 12:08Speaker 3: She's literally just a girl, yeah, just a girl that
- 12:12Speaker 3: broke tips.
- 12:13Speaker 7: Okay. This first one comes from B, who says that
- 12:17Speaker 7: she does a beauty trade off with her friends, similar
- 12:20Speaker 7: to what you were saying, yess. She says that they
- 12:22Speaker 7: go to one home to do each other's brows and
- 12:24Speaker 7: lashes one week, and then the following they go to
- 12:26Speaker 7: another person's house.
- 12:27Speaker 4: And do glamor it penails brand.
- 12:32Speaker 3: This makes sense to go. She also says, if you're
- 12:35Speaker 3: not a beauty girl.
- 12:35Speaker 7: They also do it with plant cuttings and trade them
- 12:38Speaker 7: with their friends, so they playing propagation and all that
- 12:42Speaker 7: kind of stuff with each other. They are so cute
- 12:44Speaker 7: and so beautiful.
- 12:45Speaker 3: It feels like this episode is all about being a villager.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I agree, and.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Honestly, that's all we need. Community and village.
- 12:53Speaker 7: So this next one comes from Madeline, who says, every
- 12:55Speaker 7: time I do groceries, whatever the receipt says I've saved,
- 12:58Speaker 7: I transfer that amount into my saving account. I don't
- 13:01Speaker 7: miss it as I would have spent it on groceries regardless,
- 13:04Speaker 7: even if it's only a little bit, it still adds
- 13:06Speaker 7: up very quickly. That's such a great idea. It's actually
- 13:08Speaker 7: it's such a good idea.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Because like you didn't know what was going to be
- 13:11Speaker 3: on sale at the grocery store unless you're like really
- 13:13Speaker 3: really good at it. That's why you went. Different story,
- 13:16Speaker 3: but like exactly what a little hack.
- 13:18Speaker 7: Yeah, that's great and so my one. When you get
- 13:21Speaker 7: a new puppy as we all do all the time. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 7: I cannot relate. But for those of you who have
- 13:28Speaker 7: ever had a new puppy or you plan on, you
- 13:30Speaker 7: can join pet Buns Puppy Club and every new Puppy
- 13:33Speaker 7: club member gets a welcome bag packed with hundreds of
- 13:36Speaker 7: dollars in discount vouchers for everything puppy related. After you
- 13:39Speaker 7: sign up, you just have to pop in store to
- 13:41Speaker 7: pick up your bag. That's so good.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Club Justice, you and I can make a kitten club. Yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 3: everyone can join, that's fine. You do need prerequisite likes kittens.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Like kittens or cats.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Yes, my cat, who's like what nearly seventeen? I'm like, gitten, Yeah,
- 14:02Speaker 3: that's still a baby. They do not age.
- 14:05Speaker 4: That's so truly.
- 14:05Speaker 7: They don't have kitten will they don't have baby club
- 14:07Speaker 7: or kitten club, and we need to we need to
- 14:09Speaker 7: get on that.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I think pet Bun exactly. Do you know what other
- 14:12Speaker 3: pet related hack?
- 14:13Speaker 4: Tell me?
- 14:14Speaker 3: My sister got a puppy last year. She was cutting
- 14:17Speaker 3: her puppy pads in half, Like you know how you
- 14:19Speaker 3: get the pubby pads. She's like, no, I'll cut them
- 14:22Speaker 3: in half. And I was like, you're a genius.
- 14:25Speaker 4: The doctor just goes on the pad, right, Yeah, and
- 14:28Speaker 4: like usually it's just like during puppy training, Like he
- 14:31Speaker 4: doesn't have them now, but like to make sure that
- 14:34Speaker 4: he's not having accidents inside.
- 14:36Speaker 3: He had like a little puppy pad. But the puppy
- 14:38Speaker 3: pad was so big and the dog was so small
- 14:40Speaker 3: that if he peed on it one time, like you
- 14:42Speaker 3: throw the whole thing away. So she just cut it
- 14:44Speaker 3: in half and then two for one deal genius. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 3: why did I not think about that when I had
- 14:49Speaker 3: them for Lucy? Anyway, let's go to a really quick
- 14:52Speaker 3: break because on the flip side, we're going to be
- 14:54Speaker 3: talking about a dilemma that is all about stressing about
- 14:57Speaker 3: your parents' money situation in retirement. And then we're going
- 15:00Speaker 3: to get onto something a little bit juicier. What do
- 15:03Speaker 3: you do when a couple in your bridal party are
- 15:05Speaker 3: you money for a Hens and Bucks accommodation? They opted in,
- 15:10Speaker 3: they said they'd pay, and now they say that they
- 15:11Speaker 3: can't afford to pay you back. Ah, that would be
- 15:15Speaker 3: so frustrating, So don't go anywhere.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Welcome back, everybody. Let's take a listen to this week's
- 15:24Speaker 4: money dilemma.

- 15:41Speaker 5: and leave us a short voice recording and you might
- 15:44Speaker 5: just find yourself on the show. Now, let's take a
- 15:46Speaker 5: listen to this week's money dilemma.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Hi, She's on the Money. I'm really worried about my parents.
- 15:54Speaker 6: They're close to retirement age, but I don't think they'll
- 15:57Speaker 6: be able to retire anytime soon. Over the years, they've
- 16:01Speaker 6: fallen for a lot of get rich quick schemes and
- 16:04Speaker 6: attended all these conferences where people try to sell them
- 16:08Speaker 6: coaching packages or seminars that promise wealth. Now they're planning
- 16:13Speaker 6: to go to Italy for another one with money they
- 16:16Speaker 6: don't have. I don't know how to tell them they
- 16:19Speaker 6: should be probably seeing a financial advisor instead of spending
- 16:23Speaker 6: what little they have on people who only seem to
- 16:25Speaker 6: take advantage of them. Has anyone else dealt with something
- 16:29Speaker 6: like this? And how do you talk to loved ones
- 16:31Speaker 6: about this kind of thing without pushing them away. I
- 16:34Speaker 6: would appreciate some advice. Thank you bye, But.
- 16:38Speaker 7: There's something so sorry, this is really intensive. There's something
- 16:41Speaker 7: so cute about the thought of these two best friends
- 16:44Speaker 7: and they've probably been married for a long time or
- 16:47Speaker 7: like maybe together for a long time, and they're both like,
- 16:49Speaker 7: oh my gosh, this sounds exciting.
- 16:51Speaker 4: And then they're going to that together.
- 16:52Speaker 7: And they're both together being scammed.
- 16:55Speaker 4: And that's really to start from them an awful person
- 17:00Speaker 4: trying to take them for all their work.
- 17:01Speaker 7: I know it's it's not cute, it's not cute, but
- 17:04Speaker 7: the sun that they're together is kind of cute. But
- 17:06Speaker 7: they still they I assume they're kind of like doing
- 17:09Speaker 7: this thing where they're talking each other into it because
- 17:11Speaker 7: they keep doing it. It sounds like and so it's like,
- 17:13Speaker 7: I don't know how to be very helpful in situation.
- 17:15Speaker 7: All I do know is I'm glad they have each other.
- 17:17Speaker 7: I think you need to get in.
- 17:18Speaker 3: One because they're just perpetuating each other.
- 17:21Speaker 7: No, but this is the thing if you if you
- 17:22Speaker 7: it sounds like they kind of I mean, I don't
- 17:24Speaker 7: know this for sure, but it sounds like they. You know,
- 17:27Speaker 7: when you have someone who is like talking you into something,
- 17:29Speaker 7: and you're talking each other into something.
- 17:31Speaker 4: I think if you can at least.
- 17:32Speaker 7: Convince one of them it's not a good idea, then
- 17:35Speaker 7: then the other will follow. It sounds like, but yeah,
- 17:37Speaker 7: I don't know, really know how to be helpful here.
- 17:39Speaker 7: It doesn't sound like they are learning their lesson, And
- 17:41Speaker 7: that's very sad and hard to watch. I imagine, Yeah, jess,
- 17:44Speaker 7: what are you doing?
- 17:45Speaker 4: I with me? I'd be saying, oh, can I come
- 17:47Speaker 4: with you to the conference?
- 17:48Speaker 2: Can I come?
- 17:49Speaker 6: Like?
- 17:50Speaker 4: Not that not the internet, when the international, it's like
- 17:52Speaker 4: the local conference.
- 17:53Speaker 3: You don't want to you're going because you like the
- 17:55Speaker 3: idea of getting scammed too.
- 17:57Speaker 4: No, I'm going to brainwashed me as well. Yeah let
- 18:00Speaker 4: me join the cult.
- 18:01Speaker 6: No.
- 18:01Speaker 4: I think if you go with them, you can kind
- 18:04Speaker 4: of understand what it is maybe that's appealing to them
- 18:07Speaker 4: because like typically in these things, I.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Think when I've been to them, because it's fun.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Just for a good time, I think, like the typically
- 18:14Speaker 4: there'll be something specific that they appeal, whether it's the
- 18:17Speaker 4: financial security or whether it's the sense of emergency, like
- 18:20Speaker 4: invest in this thing, like if you invest now, you're
- 18:22Speaker 4: going to get the most money.
- 18:23Speaker 3: They use psychology and they say all the right things, correct, Yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 3: you've worked so hard your whole life, you deserve this,
- 18:30Speaker 3: and they go yeah, yeah, yeah, I do.
- 18:31Speaker 4: So if you're there with them, you can kind of
- 18:33Speaker 4: figure out what it is that's resonating with them and
- 18:35Speaker 4: then undermine that. It would be doing a little bit
- 18:39Speaker 4: of tough love reality check. I would definitely be trying
- 18:42Speaker 4: to discourage them from traveling internationally because I think people,
- 18:45Speaker 4: especially people who are more trusting or more gullible, are
- 18:49Speaker 4: already at higher risk when traveling internationally.
- 18:51Speaker 3: There are a lot of it's so scary.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Yeah, there's just lots of things that can go wrong.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Even for the most you know, seasoned travelers, you can
- 18:58Speaker 4: be scammed or sucked into things. So I just would
- 19:00Speaker 4: be really trying to talk them down from that. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 4: it's so hard because obviously they can do what they
- 19:06Speaker 4: want with their money at the end of the day,
- 19:08Speaker 4: but also if they're not really aware of what's happening
- 19:11Speaker 4: to them and you are, like, it would just be
- 19:13Speaker 4: so hard to be a bystander and watch.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I would be asking for as much information as possible,
- 19:18Speaker 3: so I'd be like, hey, I'm really scared about this
- 19:21Speaker 3: for you like my policy is just blunt honesty, and
- 19:24Speaker 3: it's not being rude. Blunt honesty, Like we're not going
- 19:27Speaker 3: you're idiots. How did you get caught up in there?
- 19:28Speaker 3: And be like I feel sick in my stomach about this.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Totally get that you guys are on board. Can you
- 19:35Speaker 3: just send me all the information that you have about it.
- 19:37Speaker 3: I'm going to go do a deep dive just to
- 19:38Speaker 3: get really comfy with it. Then I'm going to go
- 19:41Speaker 3: do a deep dive, going to look into the company,
- 19:43Speaker 3: going to look into all of this like scammy stuff,
- 19:45Speaker 3: work it out, and then I'm just going to go
- 19:47Speaker 3: back to my parents and be like, you guys are adults.
- 19:50Speaker 3: You can make your own decision. But it would be
- 19:52Speaker 3: amiss of me to not point all of this out.
- 19:54Speaker 3: There's so much information online about like this particular company
- 19:58Speaker 3: being a scam. This is how that scam works, this
- 20:01Speaker 3: is what that looks like. Again, you guys can do
- 20:04Speaker 3: whatever you want, but I think that you are going
- 20:07Speaker 3: to seriously compromise your future. I think you're being taken
- 20:10Speaker 3: for a ride if you're willing to invest that amount
- 20:12Speaker 3: in this, Like, can we maybe find a logical financial advisor?
- 20:16Speaker 3: Can we maybe put it into something else, like it's
- 20:20Speaker 3: not just scaring me, but like I think you're gonna
- 20:23Speaker 3: be taken advantage of and scams these days they look
- 20:26Speaker 3: and feel so real, like in twenty twenty six, that
- 20:29Speaker 3: is exactly what happens. It's been happening for ages. Like
- 20:32Speaker 3: people are replicating the ato, mum, people are replicating a
- 20:35Speaker 3: sick People are being taken for a ride because they
- 20:38Speaker 3: genuinely believe in it. And I get it. It's not
- 20:40Speaker 3: because you're silly, it's because they are playing to your emotions.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Like this has nothing to do with anybody in the
- 20:47Speaker 3: room being dumb. Nobody is silly, but you are being
- 20:50Speaker 3: taken advantage of and it's literally making me so angry,
- 20:54Speaker 3: Like I want to call this company and tell them off.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I think that's where I would go with it, because
- 20:58Speaker 3: I'm not trying to bread crumb. Sorry, if I think
- 21:00Speaker 3: you're being scammed, I'm not like, oh, I kind of
- 21:04Speaker 3: spoke up and I said that I wasn't comfortable with
- 21:07Speaker 3: it when your parents are like, hey, we got scammed.
- 21:09Speaker 3: This is so crazy, Like I wish someone had told us.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I'm being so aggressive and in a kind way, like mum,
- 21:16Speaker 3: I'm saying this with kindness. It's not because you've been
- 21:19Speaker 3: you know, taken advantage of because you're silly. It's literally
- 21:22Speaker 3: because this is their game. Like they have spent probably
- 21:25Speaker 3: years planning this to make sure that they get enough
- 21:28Speaker 3: money out of it. So like, mom, please don't do this,
- 21:32Speaker 3: for the love of God, and then you can at
- 21:34Speaker 3: least live with the peace that you very clearly outlined
- 21:38Speaker 3: why it was a scam, how it was a scam,
- 21:39Speaker 3: what that looked like. You don't have to go. Oh,
- 21:42Speaker 3: let me come to the event and I'll see what
- 21:44Speaker 3: it's like. Like we already know it's a scam. I've
- 21:48Speaker 3: told you. Now do with that information what you will,
- 21:51Speaker 3: because again, like you don't want to hear this when
- 21:54Speaker 3: you're like the daughter or the son and you're trying
- 21:56Speaker 3: to protect your parents. But they are also adults that
- 21:58Speaker 3: are free to make any disease they want.
- 22:00Speaker 4: You can lead a horse or whatever.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Exactly true. So can we please get into the DM. Yes? Please?
- 22:07Speaker 7: All right?
- 22:08Speaker 3: So I got a DM this week. Hi, she's on
- 22:10Speaker 3: the money. Our wedding is in three months. We asked
- 22:13Speaker 3: our bridal party over a year ago and we were
- 22:16Speaker 3: really clear that we'd cover almost everything, including accommodation. Since
- 22:20Speaker 3: the wedding was out of town. All we asked was
- 22:23Speaker 3: that they cover their outfits and bring their own shoes.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Because the dresses the girls chose ended up being way
- 22:29Speaker 3: outside our original budget. For the Bucks and the Hens,
- 22:33Speaker 3: we kept everything super low cost under fifty dollars per
- 22:36Speaker 3: head and said people could stay with us in local
- 22:39Speaker 3: accommodation for that if they wanted to, but that part
- 22:43Speaker 3: would be at their expense if they wanted to do that.
- 22:46Speaker 3: One bridesmaid and one groomsman couple agreed to all of
- 22:50Speaker 3: this and chose to stay with us for both events,
- 22:52Speaker 3: which was so nice. We paid up front and just
- 22:55Speaker 3: asked if everyone could pay us back when they could.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Now between them they owe us a thousand dollar. I
- 23:00Speaker 3: have told us, yeah, we can't afford to pay that.
- 23:03Speaker 3: We won't be doing that. What should we be doing?
- 23:06Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, this makes me so angry. And it
- 23:09Speaker 3: feels like they've been so clear.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and they've done everything they can. We talk a
- 23:13Speaker 4: lot about like you should keep the costs low for
- 23:15Speaker 4: people participating in a wedding. They've done that, and then
- 23:18Speaker 4: it's just the optional thing.
- 23:19Speaker 3: And They're like, for the wedding, will pay for your accommodation,
- 23:21Speaker 3: don't worry. But for this other thing, like you can
- 23:23Speaker 3: stay with us in the accommodation will cost you more
- 23:25Speaker 3: or your own have to. I feel like that's really thoughtful.
- 23:28Speaker 4: That's very reasonable too.
- 23:30Speaker 7: So I can imagine if you are not fully across
- 23:36Speaker 7: because I kind of got confused it. I was like,
- 23:37Speaker 7: are they so they're paying for everything except for the
- 23:40Speaker 7: you know, the clothes. Obviously you have to help pay
- 23:42Speaker 7: for the accommodation that you're all staying in together.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Track, So they had to pay for the clothes, that
- 23:47Speaker 3: was it.
- 23:47Speaker 7: No, but there's accommodation, that's they participate in the wedding.
- 23:51Speaker 7: They covered all the costs of like accommodation for the wedding.
- 23:55Speaker 7: When they went for the hens, they said, you can
- 23:58Speaker 7: stay with us if you want to. I'm assuming what
- 24:00Speaker 7: happened if the bride and groom gone, well, we're gonna
- 24:01Speaker 7: have a big night out and then we want to
- 24:03Speaker 7: stay in a hotel or something after you If anyone
- 24:05Speaker 7: wants to stay with us, like you can grab a
- 24:07Speaker 7: room at the same place. You'll just have to pay
- 24:09Speaker 7: for your own room. And so it sounds like the
- 24:11Speaker 7: majority of people said oh, like not in my budget,
- 24:13Speaker 7: or like.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Only one bridesmaid and one's groomsman, which were a couple,
- 24:16Speaker 3: said yeah we will, and it might have been like
- 24:18Speaker 3: an airbnb situation.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I feel how it.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Would have worked because like otherwise we would have been
- 24:22Speaker 3: like staying at this hotel and then Jesse, you would
- 24:24Speaker 3: have booked your inn room. True true, ye, assuming that
- 24:27Speaker 3: they're like, oh, do you want to stay with a
- 24:28Speaker 3: great now aries, well book accommodation. We're going to pick
- 24:30Speaker 3: this airbnb you've got the extra room or it's coming
- 24:34Speaker 3: to one thousand dollars and they're like yeah, yeah yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 3: but like you can't split airbnb booking. So I put
- 24:39Speaker 3: it all in my card. You agreed to pay me
- 24:41Speaker 3: because it was a separate event.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I just I'm like, how would it come to
- 24:46Speaker 7: that much? But anyway, I guess it's a story for
- 24:48Speaker 7: another time. But that's like, that's.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Just it was just a weekend.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Yeah, still feels exorbitant for like a weekend, But I like,
- 24:55Speaker 7: I guess maybe if you like going somewhere that's really
- 24:57Speaker 7: really lovely, I can I can see how that would
- 24:58Speaker 7: come to that much.
- 24:59Speaker 5: So it.
- 25:00Speaker 7: Really, it's completely obviously not on you that someone else
- 25:03Speaker 7: hasn't like taken the time to look into how much
- 25:06Speaker 7: it's actually going to cost.
- 25:07Speaker 3: No, they knew, they knew. So if I said to you, Beck, hey,
- 25:10Speaker 3: I'm going away with my husband for the weekend. Do
- 25:13Speaker 3: you and Jess want to come? You go, yeah, that
- 25:15Speaker 3: sounds lit. And I go, well, accommodation's going to be
- 25:17Speaker 3: a thousand dollars. Let's pretend that's completely fair with you,
- 25:19Speaker 3: and you go, yeah, Jess and I are happy to
- 25:21Speaker 3: pay five hundred bucks each because that's two hundred and
- 25:23Speaker 3: fifty dollars a night or whatever. Happy to pay this.
- 25:27Speaker 3: And then we go, we have a great weekend. And
- 25:30Speaker 3: then I go, hey, Beck, can you just transfer me?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Because like I already told you that you were paying
- 25:33Speaker 3: for your accommodation, there's no question about that. And you go,
- 25:36Speaker 3: we can't afford it. Totally. That is not at all
- 25:40Speaker 3: on you, guys.
- 25:41Speaker 7: I think that it On the one hand, I understand
- 25:44Speaker 7: the anxiety of realizing that I can't actually afford something
- 25:47Speaker 7: later on down the track, but that's not at all
- 25:49Speaker 7: on you, guys. It is entirely on the person who
- 25:52Speaker 7: agreed to do this. I think that if and it
- 25:54Speaker 7: seems like you are quite close, they just if they
- 25:56Speaker 7: agree to stay with you both times, it's like, oh,
- 25:58Speaker 7: they seem like good friends, so you don't want to
- 26:00Speaker 7: lose this friendship, I would say, you know, and I've
- 26:03Speaker 7: borrowed money from friends millennia millions of times for my
- 26:06Speaker 7: whole life, and so I know the feeling of like
- 26:09Speaker 7: being like, oh God, I don't know when I can
- 26:12Speaker 7: pay this back. So I think just having a very
- 26:13Speaker 7: honest and transparent and like money doesn't have to be
- 26:16Speaker 7: so taboo. Money doesn't have to be so like a thing,
- 26:18Speaker 7: you know, just be like you could just be talking
- 26:20Speaker 7: about it as though. You would be like, hey, can
- 26:22Speaker 7: I borrow your pants this weekend? So like the way
- 26:25Speaker 7: they're sewn or something like. It doesn't have to be
- 26:27Speaker 7: so big, but if you can afford it, letting them
- 26:30Speaker 7: know that a payment plan or a payment structure would
- 26:34Speaker 7: work for you just that way you don't have to
- 26:36Speaker 7: like ruin your whole friendship over it. But I think
- 26:38Speaker 7: if you're like, what about like, how about fifty bucks
- 26:40Speaker 7: a week? Does that work for you guys, and they're
- 26:41Speaker 7: like maybe they'd be like, yeah, that would be great
- 26:43Speaker 7: and then you don't have to worry. If they don't,
- 26:46Speaker 7: it probably is a friendship that you have to Like
- 26:49Speaker 7: I was a resemblanable bill. You just can't be friends
- 26:50Speaker 7: with someone who's like literally refusing to pay you.
- 26:53Speaker 3: You know you have more grace than I do. Jess,
- 26:55Speaker 3: what would you do?
- 26:56Speaker 4: I agree. The thing that I'm not understanding is them
- 26:57Speaker 4: turning around and just saying, oh, well, we're not going
- 26:59Speaker 4: to pay that because you agreed to pay it, and
- 27:02Speaker 4: like that is to me deeply unfair, like it was
- 27:05Speaker 4: an optional thing you elected to join. My understanding is
- 27:08Speaker 4: that you knew what the cost would be upfront. Different
- 27:10Speaker 4: story if the cost was not communicated. But based on
- 27:13Speaker 4: what we've been told, my assumption is that you have
- 27:15Speaker 4: been told the cost. It's just nuts to me that
- 27:18Speaker 4: you would then go I agree, like if something had
- 27:20Speaker 4: happened back and as you said, like someone had lost
- 27:22Speaker 4: their job or some extenuating circumstance. Understand that things happen
- 27:26Speaker 4: and a payment plan is a good option. But I
- 27:28Speaker 4: think like you do kind of have to turn around
- 27:30Speaker 4: to them and be like, hey, it's not fair for
- 27:33Speaker 4: me to pay for this cost that you chose to
- 27:36Speaker 4: participate in like lots of other people had the option,
- 27:38Speaker 4: they said no because they didn't want to or made
- 27:40Speaker 4: to have the money, or whatever the reason was, you
- 27:42Speaker 4: wanted to participate, Like, I am not fronting the cost
- 27:46Speaker 4: for you for that like it. No, I don't see
- 27:49Speaker 4: how there's any really room to be delicate with it
- 27:51Speaker 4: if I'm honest.
- 27:52Speaker 3: No, no, And I feel maybe I'm in a blunt mood.
- 27:57Speaker 3: But like if I said, hey, j yes, and this
- 28:00Speaker 3: is a different story, but like heyes, I'm buying myself
- 28:03Speaker 3: a dice in air rap. I'm going to put it
- 28:05Speaker 3: through the order. Yeah, And you go, oh my god,
- 28:08Speaker 3: I'd love a dice in air rap too.
- 28:09Speaker 4: I got a coincidence, I would.
- 28:10Speaker 3: That's crazy, we both love dice in air raps. I'll
- 28:13Speaker 3: put it in my order, like to save shipping or something.
- 28:16Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 3: And so you're purchasing a product and you go, I'll
- 28:19Speaker 3: transfer you, and I go, thanks, Jess Norris. And then
- 28:21Speaker 3: I come home, got my package, give you diceon air rap.
- 28:24Speaker 3: And then a couple of weeks goes by and I go, hey,
- 28:27Speaker 3: can you just transfer me for the air rap? And
- 28:28Speaker 3: you go, oh, I can't afford it anymore. Yeah, Like
- 28:31Speaker 3: that's unacceptable. Like, I'm really sorry, but you agreed to
- 28:34Speaker 3: the cost, and like this is assuming that whatever. And
- 28:37Speaker 3: you know, there's three sides to every story. There's your side,
- 28:40Speaker 3: my side, and the truth. But we've only been given
- 28:43Speaker 3: our community member's side of the story. And she says
- 28:45Speaker 3: she was really clear about that cost. I was really
- 28:48Speaker 3: clear with you, Jess that the air rap that you
- 28:50Speaker 3: wanted to purchase and just save some money on shipping
- 28:52Speaker 3: was one thousand dollars.
- 28:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:53Speaker 3: You do not get to come back to me. That's
- 28:55Speaker 3: not my problem.
- 28:56Speaker 4: No, Like you did a nice thing, you owe me
- 28:59Speaker 4: a thousand dollars. Yeah, same thing happens if I go, hey,
- 29:02Speaker 4: I'm going away for the weekend. I'm getting accommodation. You guys,
- 29:05Speaker 4: go go ahead. I'm not spending one thousand dollars on accommodation. Great,
- 29:10Speaker 4: don't yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Don't, but don't say yeah, great, no worries, Jess. I'd
- 29:15Speaker 3: love to spend a thousand dollars on accommodation. You use
- 29:18Speaker 3: that service and then come back to me and go, oh,
- 29:23Speaker 3: I can't afford it? Say yeah, So why did you
- 29:26Speaker 3: say yes? And why is this now my cost?
- 29:28Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 29:29Speaker 3: Why is this mine. Now, it's not like you went
- 29:32Speaker 3: into debt for it, because if you'd put that thousand
- 29:34Speaker 3: dollars for the air wrap or one thousand dollars for
- 29:36Speaker 3: the accommodation on your credit card, you don't get to
- 29:38Speaker 3: call up the credit card company and say, hey, like,
- 29:41Speaker 3: oh I can't afford that full stop. No, you owe
- 29:44Speaker 3: somebody money. Yeah, if you don't want to incur that expense,
- 29:48Speaker 3: you were given the option to not incur it.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah, what did everybody else think?
- 29:52Speaker 3: Okay, so first I asked them some questions because I
- 29:54Speaker 3: need to know the juice. What would you do if
- 29:56Speaker 3: you were our community member? Fifty one percent of you
- 30:00Speaker 3: said organize a payment plan or adjust the amount, which
- 30:03Speaker 3: I think is crazy interesting. I just think if I
- 30:06Speaker 3: if I owe you one thousand dollars, yes, I don't
- 30:09Speaker 3: not owe you a thousand dollars just because I've decided
- 30:11Speaker 3: I don't. Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 4: The only thing I would say is if your friend
- 30:14Speaker 4: couldn't pay you, because they're like, oh my god, I've
- 30:16Speaker 4: just like defaulted my mortgage, I'm homeless, whatever different.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Yeah, twenty three percent said no, I'm just staying firm
- 30:25Speaker 3: on you repaying me. Fifteen percent said you'd let it go,
- 30:28Speaker 3: and eleven percent said, I'm reassessing the whole friendship. I
- 30:32Speaker 3: then asked, would you give someone more grace for money
- 30:35Speaker 3: they owed you if it was for your wedding. Forty
- 30:38Speaker 3: nine percent said yes, but only to avoid drama, thirty
- 30:40Speaker 3: three percent said no, they made a commitment, and eighteen
- 30:43Speaker 3: percent said, yeah, it's my wedding.
- 30:45Speaker 4: It's kind of awkward because it's like, well, what they're
- 30:47Speaker 4: going to be in the bridal party and then it's.
- 30:50Speaker 3: In three months. Yeah, it's all good. I just think
- 30:53Speaker 3: it's so wild. And don't get me wrong, I have
- 30:55Speaker 3: a whole different opinion about weddings, and maybe we can
- 30:58Speaker 3: do another wedding episode because I just feel like wedding
- 31:00Speaker 3: costs have gone through the roof. I'm like looking at
- 31:02Speaker 3: all these people making like TikTok content and they're saying like, oh,
- 31:05Speaker 3: I'm a twenty twenty six bride or I'm a twenty
- 31:07Speaker 3: twenty seven bride, and I'm just like looking at these costs,
- 31:09Speaker 3: being like, I spend a lot on my wedding, but
- 31:12Speaker 3: those are astronomical. What are you talking about? Like it
- 31:15Speaker 3: is so stressful, So maybe that content needs to come
- 31:18Speaker 3: and we need more wedding drama. But they then said,
- 31:20Speaker 3: what is your two cents? So first cab off the rank,
- 31:24Speaker 3: nothing to add. Just got engaged recently and I'm just
- 31:26Speaker 3: really hoping to avoid any type.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Of drama like this understandable.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Next person said, unless something significant happened, you need to
- 31:34Speaker 3: stay firm.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Agree.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Someone else said, did they say why, like did some
- 31:39Speaker 3: expected thing come up that they had to pay for.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Another person said, just be honest, tell them you also
- 31:44Speaker 3: can't afford to lose one thousand dollars and that they
- 31:46Speaker 3: need to pay back the money.
- 31:48Speaker 4: That's a great perspective.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Another person said, it's very poor etiquette from the couple
- 31:52Speaker 3: who owe money, but also making people pay for their
- 31:55Speaker 3: own outfits isn't ideal. But I also don't think that
- 31:58Speaker 3: comes into it.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Yeah, as I said, it's a that's like a different.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Part of the wedding conversation, I think, and like I'm
- 32:04Speaker 3: trying to be really segmented. Another person said, how is
- 32:07Speaker 3: it low cost if they owe a thousand dollars same
- 32:10Speaker 3: as you beck, which is fair totally, but like every
- 32:14Speaker 3: other wedding and like just justifying it from the message
- 32:17Speaker 3: we got every other wedding expense was low cost. This
- 32:21Speaker 3: was like probably some bougie accommodation that they're like, you, guys,
- 32:24Speaker 3: don't have to come, We're gonna go and stay at
- 32:26Speaker 3: this particular place. But I'm assuming that instead of just
- 32:29Speaker 3: getting the one bedroom villa, they got like a two
- 32:31Speaker 3: bedroom villa and then like that would have increased the
- 32:34Speaker 3: cost significantly, right.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Which again is why it was optional.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, we're not talking about like, oh, you have
- 32:40Speaker 3: to come to my hands, you have to stay the night,
- 32:43Speaker 3: because she said the rest of the wedding party didn't.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Yeah. Next said people are unreliable. If they can't give
- 32:50Speaker 3: you the money at the time, usually they can't commit
- 32:53Speaker 3: to it later either.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Very pessimistic take, and I'll give you the last one.
- 32:58Speaker 3: It's shit like this that made me lad. I eloped.
- 33:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Absolutely, I think that's really funny and probably a great
- 33:05Speaker 3: place to leave it. So guys, we will see you
- 33:08Speaker 3: bright and early on Monday morning for our money diary.
- 33:10Speaker 3: But till then, have the best weekend by guys.
