- 0:19Speaker 3: Hello everybody, Welcome back to Freaky Friday with your co host.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Stephanie, and we are here for all of the freaky
- 0:27Speaker 2: stories that you've got anonymously, of course, so no one
- 0:30Speaker 2: will know what you've sent me in, not even us.
- 0:32Speaker 3: This one is a bit sneaky, a bit spicy, a
- 0:35Speaker 3: bit like on Edge. I think you guy's going to
- 0:37Speaker 3: really love hearing the details of it. But this kind
- 0:39Speaker 3: of situation I don't ever want to be in.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Never.
- 0:42Speaker 2: It gives me actual anxiety. Literally, let's go. So, I
- 0:46Speaker 2: think I'll start by saying, did this really happen or
- 0:48Speaker 2: was this a dream?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Here goes.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I was dating this man, and let's say he was
- 0:52Speaker 2: an absolute piece of shit and I really don't know
- 0:54Speaker 2: what I saw in him. He was manipulative and always angry.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I've been dating him on and off for probably two years,
- 1:00Speaker 2: and I decided to start sleeping with somebody else while
- 1:03Speaker 2: I was still with him. Emotionally, I had tapped out
- 1:06Speaker 2: and should have just left. But manipulative people make you
- 1:08Speaker 2: do weird things. True, no accountability. Love you, babe, god brutal.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I'm just true. No one can make you do something.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah's your choice, like yes, it's okay, I see you.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Sometimes I would wake up with Man one and go
- 1:22Speaker 2: to bed with Man two. It was fun, it was naughty,
- 1:24Speaker 2: and it was so risky because obviously each man didn't
- 1:27Speaker 2: know about the other. I had fell head over heels
- 1:29Speaker 2: for Man two. However, he was going through a breakup
- 1:31Speaker 2: and couldn't commit, so I decided to continue to see
- 1:34Speaker 2: the first guy because I was heartbroken by the second,
- 1:36Speaker 2: and I thought he could feel something, even if it
- 1:38Speaker 2: was only those sexual needs. I had spoken a man
- 1:41Speaker 2: too for two weeks. I was living at my mom's
- 1:44Speaker 2: and she had gone out for the night, so I
- 1:45Speaker 2: decided to have Man one over. We were in the
- 1:47Speaker 2: lounde room. Man one was sitting on the couch just
- 1:50Speaker 2: two meters away from the front door, behind a small wall.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I heard a knock. It's him, see the other man.
- 1:56Speaker 2: It was ten pm, and my heart dropped. I thought, fuck, please, please,
- 2:00Speaker 2: please don't be it.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It was.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It was Man number two knocking at my door. I panicked.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I opened the door. I stepped outside, and I whispered,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I have someone here. You need to go. My heart
- 2:11Speaker 2: was racing and I started to shake because things just
- 2:13Speaker 2: got messy so quick. Man number two ran off, got
- 2:16Speaker 2: in his car and took off.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Oh I would have thought it's another guy, right absolutely.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I pulled myself together, went back inside and played it cool.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Men number one said who was that? I said, oh,
- 2:28Speaker 2: just the kids down the road.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Oh no, just a line now too.
- 2:30Speaker 2: They always door knock late at night, silly buggers. I
- 2:33Speaker 2: messaged my girlfriend and said, you need to call me
- 2:35Speaker 2: a sap, which she did. I told Man number one
- 2:38Speaker 2: I needed to take this phone call and went outside.
- 2:40Speaker 2: My friend and I were both in shock that I
- 2:42Speaker 2: had a man over and my second fleeing turned up
- 2:44Speaker 2: after not speaking for weeks. Like that only happens in
- 2:47Speaker 2: movies anyway, Men number one never found out that Man
- 2:50Speaker 2: two was on the doorstep. I ended up leaving Man
- 2:52Speaker 2: number one and continued to sleep with Men number two,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and I think it scared me and taught me a
- 2:56Speaker 2: lesson that this stuff does happen. Sleeping with two people
- 2:59Speaker 2: at once is so risky. I was honestly with men too,
- 3:02Speaker 2: and he was okay with it all, as he was
- 3:04Speaker 2: messed up in the head from his wreake up anyways, but.
- 3:06Speaker 3: That's not going to miss him up more. Shit girl
- 3:10Speaker 3: Mantoo is very understanding.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I have anxiety for you. Oh that's tough, Like I
- 3:16Speaker 2: like to live life on the edge, but not like that,
- 3:18Speaker 2: you know what.
- 3:19Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of people might have been
- 3:20Speaker 3: in similar situations, because when you're dating, I can only
- 3:24Speaker 3: reflect on my own journey. But when I was single
- 3:27Speaker 3: and I had started to speak to Steve, it was online.
- 3:29Speaker 3: While I was talking to Steve, I was talking to
- 3:31Speaker 3: other multiple men as well, because you don't put all
- 3:34Speaker 3: your eggs and one basket. You're getting to know the
- 3:36Speaker 3: person you're wondering if you're going to click. And then
- 3:39Speaker 3: once I met Steve, I instantly felt connected. But I
- 3:41Speaker 3: was also seeing another guy called Reese, and he was beautiful,
- 3:44Speaker 3: ticked all the boxes. And Steve was also seeing another
- 3:48Speaker 3: couple of girls as well, because obviously just yeah, seeing
- 3:51Speaker 3: who he connects with, I said to myself, I'm going
- 3:53Speaker 3: to go for one more date, or really thought Steve
- 3:56Speaker 3: was it, but I thought, gosh, I want to go
- 3:57Speaker 3: for one more date with Reese and just see if
- 3:59Speaker 3: there is something there and like make my decision. And
- 4:02Speaker 3: I did go with Reese the next night and we
- 4:04Speaker 3: had it together or anything, but when he kissed me,
- 4:06Speaker 3: I felt like I was kissing my brother. Oh there
- 4:09Speaker 3: was no sexual chemistry, and it was such a shame
- 4:10Speaker 3: because he's such a beautiful man, did all the boxes,
- 4:13Speaker 3: it was amazing, but I was like, there's just no
- 4:15Speaker 3: sexual chemistine. When I first met Steve, it felt like home.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I did not want to leave. I just wanted to
- 4:21Speaker 3: be in his arms. I was really turned on by him.
- 4:25Speaker 3: It was just so different beautiful that it made my
- 4:27Speaker 3: decisions so easy. And I do remember finding out the
- 4:29Speaker 3: girl that Steve was dating when he first met me, and.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I was so jealous. I love the open next Nikki
- 4:35Speaker 1: fuck off Brook.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I've definitely had a similar experience, but I was
- 4:41Speaker 2: probably like fifteen, so young, but that he is so young.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It was like my first ever relationship. And I remember
- 4:48Speaker 2: talking to him and then meeting somebody in a different
- 4:51Speaker 2: state because I would fly back and forth because I
- 4:53Speaker 2: just moved from the Gold Coast to Sydney and I
- 4:56Speaker 2: was still going up every six months to see my
- 4:58Speaker 2: friends because I just like, I loved the Gold Coast
- 5:00Speaker 2: and I didn't want to move. And then I remember
- 5:02Speaker 2: meeting somebody on the Gold Coast and emotionally we were
- 5:06Speaker 2: talking and like getting to know each other for the
- 5:07Speaker 2: first few months, and I just like I couldn't decide,
- 5:11Speaker 2: Like I couldn't decide. I felt so guilty. And that's
- 5:13Speaker 2: why I'm like, oh my God, to this girl, I
- 5:14Speaker 2: feel so anxious for you, because I remember thinking the
- 5:17Speaker 2: same feelings of like feeling like I'm doing something sneaky,
- 5:20Speaker 2: like I get caught, like I'm doing something wrong. It
- 5:24Speaker 2: just never ends well, those kind of situations, you know,
- 5:26Speaker 2: And obviously you know when you're young, silly, you're just
- 5:29Speaker 2: not that you.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Don't care, but be conscious and aware.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Not as conscious, yeah, you're just like, oh, like whatever,
- 5:35Speaker 2: it doesn't mean that much. But if I did that now,
- 5:37Speaker 2: I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, and I
- 5:39Speaker 2: would be so anxious and feel so guilty, like I
- 5:43Speaker 2: wouldn't not be able to be honest.
- 5:44Speaker 1: With the person. No, it'd be so difficult.
- 5:47Speaker 3: And she knew in this that man won the angry one,
- 5:51Speaker 3: that she didn't want to be with him, but he
- 5:52Speaker 3: was fulfilling a need for her. She didn't want to
- 5:54Speaker 3: be alone. It was sexual, it was just company. I
- 5:57Speaker 3: suppose I remember Steve talking about in his single days,
- 6:00Speaker 3: he was just lonely and didn't like being by himself,
- 6:03Speaker 3: and he'd being cheated on.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So it kind of feel that void.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Of Okay, I'm still wanted, I suppose, so I can
- 6:09Speaker 3: see where she's coming from, and then the second guy
- 6:11Speaker 3: not being fully emotionally available. She's getting different needs met
- 6:14Speaker 3: from different guys. But like she said, it's risky, it
- 6:18Speaker 3: never ends.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Well, it's not a good idea.
- 6:20Speaker 2: But just even to live in that height of state
- 6:22Speaker 2: like that's not good for your nervous system.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I wonder if some people find it thrilling, though, I
- 6:26Speaker 1: would say so.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I think that there were one hundred I know for myself,
- 6:28Speaker 2: at least when I was younger, I loved the thrill
- 6:32Speaker 2: of like chaos for some reason, just like loved chaos,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and I had to really unlearn that behavior of being
- 6:38Speaker 2: in that heightened state of oh, oh my god, the thrill,
- 6:41Speaker 2: the chase that this that.
- 6:42Speaker 1: That like it in a more healthy way.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, find it in a more productive way.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Oh.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I could not hear it sing fabe, thank you so
- 6:49Speaker 2: much for sharing. That is crazy. I'd love to know
- 6:52Speaker 2: how your nervous system feels now and.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Are you're still dating man number two, the one that
- 6:55Speaker 3: was messed up from the breakup? Like does he move
- 6:57Speaker 3: through that or did you give him some time and space?
- 6:59Speaker 3: Did he take time space away?
- 7:01Speaker 2: And out of curiosity? Like what is it that you're
- 7:02Speaker 2: wanting from being with these men? Is there something that
- 7:05Speaker 2: you're actually wanting? Like what does your future self want?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Like I just added curiosity.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Or is this just a filler stage where you're just
- 7:12Speaker 3: like you're in your rebound stage, you're just playing around,
- 7:14Speaker 3: having fun.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You're not ready for a relationship, but you're just exploring,
- 7:18Speaker 1: even just be exploring sexually. Could be yeah, trying out
- 7:21Speaker 1: the different men thing, what she likes so she doesn't lie.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Maybe you're into two men at once.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Is that Maybe you're just like living out that fantasy
- 7:27Speaker 2: but in an unproductive way and haven't been honest with
- 7:28Speaker 2: yourself yet.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Maybe could be so many things to unpack. Yeah, oh,
- 7:32Speaker 1: we love it. If you have a story, don't forget.
