At that time Jesus spoke to the Pharisees this parable.
• 0:09
A certain man made a great supper and invited many.
• 0:13
And he sent his servant at the hour of supper to say to them
• 0:16
that were invited, that they should come, for now all things
• 0:21
are ready. And they began all at once to
• 0:24
make excuse. The first said to him, I have
• 0:27
bought a farm and must needs go out and see it, I pray thee hold
• 0:32
me excused. And another said I have bought 5
• 0:36
yoke of oxen, and I go to try them, I pray thee hold me
• 0:40
excused. And another said I have married
• 0:44
a wife and therefore I cannot come.
• 0:47
And the servant returning told these things to his Lord.
• 0:51
Then the master of the house being angry, said to his
• 0:54
servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city,
• 0:59
and bring in hit her the poor, and the feeble, and the blind,
• 1:02
and the lame. And the servant said, Lord, it
• 1:05
is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
• 1:10
And the Lord said to the servant, Go out into the
• 1:12
highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house
• 1:18
may be filled. But I say unto you, that none of
• 1:22
those men that were invited shall taste of my supper.
