- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: I do not do this podcast alone.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: Either way, I'm so happy that you guys came to this particular episode because we're talking all about emotions and your vibration and channeling and e-tuning and oh my god, it's so good.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait to dive in.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: So this week, I want everyone to just kind of really start thinking about how they want to approach the holidays.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: because it's here you guys, whether we like it or not, and I just wanted to add this in a little bit before we dive into this episode, because it's important that this time year that you really make a decision.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like I am going to commit to moving forward with my health, my fitness, my overall improvement of my mindset, like you have to decide.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: You have to decide.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: And remember, I have said this so many times on this podcast, deciding to not decide is still deciding.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so if you're like, oh, I hear this and then you don't make a decision, that's just not deciding.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: which is still deciding that even makes any sense which I know it does to you guys because you you're you're used to my madness, but truly think about it and then decide you know what I'm just getting a finish out and get back at it after January.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: Great, great.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: That is a decision that you're making, okay?
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: You also can decide that like no, I'm going to make a conscious decision that like I'm going to still go to the gym.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to work on coaching.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to get
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: that is a decision.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: The next choice, if that is your decision to make, your next choice, is can you do this alone?
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: Really think about that.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm putting these long pauses in here on purpose.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Truly think, am I capable?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Have I shown myself over 2,025 that I'm able to do this journey alone?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're not, if you're like, I really don't think I can.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: I keep saying
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: right, but then I don't.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: You guys, that's a sign that you need help and that is okay.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't want to go into this too much, but I just want to drop that in there because it's that time.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: You guys, it's that time of year to make a decision.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't make a decision, you're still deciding.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: I can't, I can't like stress that enough.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: People think, well, if it's just out of sight, out of mind, boom, no, I didn't decide.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't do anything.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: You decided to do nothing.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: You decided to ignore this.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Go to the show notes.

- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you do want to want coaching.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: If that is not in the budget for you or in the books, or in your future, great.

- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: Today's guest is David Strickall.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: What if emotional intelligence isn't something you learn but something you live?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: Meet David.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: He is a former executive turned spiritual teacher and the creator of Taya, a next-level
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: David helps high achievers rewire their minds, exit judgment, and stop chasing alignment by appreciating all aspects of life, not just the high points.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: And if you listen or are ready to break free from beer-based habits and experience emotional clarity in any condition, this episode is going to resonate with you.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking about, you know, positive thinking.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: but why that can fail?
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: He talks about the catch, oh my god, and how to name it.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait for you to hear this part.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: We talk about retuning your brain, and detuning fears of everything going away.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: You guys, this episode is really going to speak to you, because now you're going to have an understanding of why maybe things that you've tried before in the past didn't work.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've manifested things before and you're like,
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't change anything and David says abundance flows when you stop fearing low vibration.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so many people don't even understand what vibration is.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, today you're going to find out.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: So sit back, relax.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're going for a walk while you're listening to this.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: Take notes if you had it and if you can't, don't worry.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: We'll put everything in the show notes for you.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: As soon as we're done, I want you to get his book, check out his program, go to his free hub that he has, and start adding tools into your toolbox.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: Alright everyone, enjoy the show.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hey everyone, welcome to the Bomb Live podcast.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: Today we have David Strickle on the show.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome, David.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for having me.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's good to be here.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, I am so excited to have you diving into like emotional and intelligence and like everything spiritual, like inside of us and energy and vibration, like it's my jam.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm in the right place then you are you are.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited to dive in and you you like do it all you are the host of the podcast that is it Taya on the Thai podcast the Thai podcast you're author of the Thai practice you're the creator of Taya like we got to know what Thai is so just what what is Taya what is this notice that you have created and like go this empire around tell me what that is first and then and then I'll dive into other questions.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the interesting thing is is that I started out channeling, if you're into Abraham Hicks or anything like that, the whole world is channeling now, because Esther made it palatable.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think for me, she made it less weird, and what I first experienced channeling, and I was told I was a channel by a psychic years prior to the discovery of Abraham Hicks, and I thought it was weird and freaky, and I didn't even need part of it, but I had these
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: this knowledge we're dropping in that I wasn't exposed to in my life that when I chose to trust it and apply it, it worked.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm all about evidence.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: I love belief beyond what is tangible, but at the end of the day what really works.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, where's the evidence that this works if I'm going to continue to do this?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: So this knowledge had evidence behind it.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: It was really working for me in my personal life.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: And then I started teaching it to other people in business, which is very limited because it was a corporate situation.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you were very executive before.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was a, I built a big career in retail home furnishings and my success really focused on making my commission-based sales people successful.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: And it was all about mindset.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: And not having that typical salesperson mindset, just want to close a sale at any cost and you want to, you know, get your commission, I flip the whole script.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, you don't want to do that.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to sell to everyone.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: You want to get to know people.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: You want to build a relationship and you want to serve them and you will make more money if you sincerely do that.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: And they did and the people that worked for me did and I just kept.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: I would take over a store and turn it around and then suddenly it was a group of stores and then it was a region and then it was half the country and then it was half the United States in Canada.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: You just kept going from there and I loved it for a while and I did very well but the frustrating part was all of these people would tell me their personal problems.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: I would go for, I would get on a plane to go from, you know, region, region and go in and sit and talk to people, how's it going?
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on?
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: You want to get really personal in a situation like that, so you see which really going on.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then they would start telling me about their marriage, the divorce, their kids, and in a corporate setting, you can't go there.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: If I start talking about law of attraction or conscious creation, I'm going to get a call from HR and it's going to be very uncomfortable, especially at that level.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I couldn't do that.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so I had to have an outlet for that.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: I started a podcast and I started channeling on my podcast, and that's the first time I ever channeled was on what we used to be called the Stream of David podcast, this is not the tie-up podcast, but to fast-forward what happened with all of that is everyone is a channel.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone has source consciousness and then we're all channeling in our own way.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: I believe everyone has access to this information.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the unique thing about me is that I chose to listen to it from a very early age and experimented with it because I was all I had.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have parents in my life really guiding me.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that might be a unique thing.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm really good at creating systems.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I sort of channeling kind of thinking, well, I'm going to be the next Esther Hicks.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: It looks so much fun to get up there in channel every Saturday.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: And have people come up and ask questions.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: And she seems to be doing really well with this.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to do that.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, by the time I got into doing that,
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: hundreds of other people were doing that.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_00]: This is well, everyone claimed me.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I realize I wasn't going to be the next Esther.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: She's one of a kind and she's great, but then the frustration with law of attraction sort of said in for me.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: because this idea of the very sort of consumerist-driven aspects of how do I manifest the new car the new house, more money, better health?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: How do I manifest?
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: That seemed to be the crux of all of it.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: And people were very frustrated with it.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: And there were two things going on for me.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: One, I had already manifested all those things and discovered that they didn't really make me happy the way I thought they would.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: As much as I still enjoy material things,
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: It just doesn't hit the way that you think it's going to hit.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I manifested the love of my life.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: I manifested the best body of my life at 50, which I still, I don't have today, but I had it 50.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: Pre-COVID.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I've manifested all these things that everybody wants.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand why they won't.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand why they're nice to have.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: But at the end of the day, there's still this sort of whole in your life.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't really understand source consciousness
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: If you're just using energy creation, vibration is we like to call it to manifest things.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, things.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're missing out on a lot.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: So my message is you can have both, but don't lose sight of the the source part of all of it.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: And so from there, I created a mindset practice that we call tie up for trust your abundance.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: Now everything's about tie up.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, this completely like makes sense.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you're going to learn this real quick David.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: I
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: like everything and what you're saying, I can kind of relate to with the whole manifesting, having the things, but you're missing something.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's the same thing like when people lose a ton of weight in, in like my world, I can, my brains like, I can, I can understand this when people lose a ton of weight and they don't do the minds at work with it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: They just like do one of those boot camps or something.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: This six week camp and they're like, well, 30 pounds, but there was no mental shift.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: This person who wasn't happy, healthy, maybe overweight, to know I identify now is like a fit person.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: This is who I am.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I do and they're missing that gap.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: So this makes sense to me in my world, too, but I never thought I'm going to feel like manifesting things in energy and and all of this.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that was a big, for me, that was a big manifestation.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: My personal journey in my 30s, my mother, my father left when I was six and wasn't in my life.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: And my mother, they got divorced.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: My mother never wanted to be a parent.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: She was not a very parent.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: There's a million sort of, not a little skip over.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: But I had a very rough childhood.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I got into my early 20s, I started making money.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: I sort of my own business at 19, money was coming in.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: My mother was a minimum wage learner.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I started helping her financially.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then we suddenly became friends.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then I told her I was gay, and when I told her I was gay, she hung up on me and never spoke to me again for the rest of the years.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to make sense of that.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know, here I had this rough childhood, this woman that told me to commit suicide when I was a teenager, wanting to just kill yourself.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: That was her attitude toward me.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: We came all the way full circle to making friends and having finding our path to having some sort of an adult relationship and then to have her completely disown me was crushing.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's not the end of men.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I didn't really deal with that.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: But I knew how to manifest money.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I grew up very poor.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: So when you grow up poor, you think money is the answer to everything, right?
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: The kids that are happier, the ones that are going to summer camping, having new clothes every school year, and getting cars when they turned 15 or 16 back then was 15.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what happiness looked like to me, the big house, the nice things, and so I really focused just on that.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: And my 20s and 30s, I manifested money and material things.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: However, I wasn't a happy person because of my 30s, I wait almost 300 pounds.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, I was soothing myself with food and alcohol to some extent.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't really in alcoholic, but I was definitely a carbaholic and so I was almost 300 pounds.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I was a chubby little kid.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I do believe that when you're in that vibration as a child, it stays with you probably in your world realize that that vibration is kind of a lifetime journey.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: of yes sir figuring out.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: And so I figured it out in my 40s.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: I really started accepting the spiritual side of myself in my 40s and I started getting red of everything in my life that wasn't truly making me happy.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: I moved from a 4200 square foot house outside of Seattle to a 650 square foot condo.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: I ended a 20 year relationship that should have ended at five.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: I did all those things.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Got into great shapes start working out with great personal training
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: all the way through my forties.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: And by the time I was 50-51, I was already doing this.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: I had the podcast.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: I quit my corporate job.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: I was ripped.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: I was ripped.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_00]: I moved to Palm Springs, which is kind of like a playground for older gay dudes.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, I'm like an hour away from Paul's gang.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, well, that brings us, you know, if you're a gay man of a certain age, it's Shangri-La, you know, this is, this is the place that anybody that can afford it, you know, comes.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I was in Palm Springs and for the first time in my life, I was sort of an object, you know, you're 50 year young in Palm Springs, you know, I took a little object of attention for the first time in my life.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: I would turn their heads and look, and that's sort of feeding my ego.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I went through this whole journey of realizing that any identity, any set of circumstances that we are depending on for joy, we're always going to have a bit of anxiety about losing it.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: And because I know people during COVID here that when I got out of shape and lost
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not sure you've encountered that as well in that culture.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing wrong with being fit.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: And certainly from just statistically from my health perspective is better to be fit than not that certainly.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: When you're depending on that for your identity, you're there's always going to be this notion of, oh, what if I injure myself and I can't work out?
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or in Palm Springs, not to blow the lid off of things, but there's a lot of enhanced me a drug enhanced on here 70 year olds in the gym that are just completely buff.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: That just doesn't have an naturally.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, and that's okay.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: I down to each their own.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, but this identity that comes along with that.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: Any time you're wealth, your relationship, your body, your physical parents, any time your sense of self and well-being is wrapped up in something material, even your own body, then there's always going to be that anxiety that what if it all goes away.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that creates suffering.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I see that happen all the time with people in this industry.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: And it's it's just crazy because you have to love yourself and be aware of yourself and and your energy and what you stand for and who you are and what you believe in and truly have that confidence without the muscles without that and people are always just like give me the workout plan.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me what to eat and I'm like hold on.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like why are we even doing this?
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: What's your greatest, what's your greater like purpose for this?
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: Because it can't just be, well, I have to lose 30 pounds.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: And man, people struggle with that.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why I love having these kind of conversations because it takes us deeper.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: There just has to be more to it.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I think people just get really stuck and just the surface things.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: outside of parents and who I am.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: And then you come on and we're talking about like channeling and energy and things like that.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it just blows people's minds and they're like, wait, what?
- 17:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we're saying we're talking about channeling.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: I know you're talking about, can you tell people what channeling is?
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think there's people listening going, who are they talking about?
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I won't tell you.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have any podcasts that just, they're all about ester kicks in Abraham Hicks and all that.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: But I realize there's a whole swathless society that has no clue what he and that is.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: What Abraham makes is really interesting because when you first discover it once you get past the judgment of who is this person, what is she doing now because I had a lot of that judgment early and I still I am fine with anybody that says channeling is fake channeling is weird channeling is BS whatever I have no problem with that I don't know what that what's why I totally get it I totally get it I was that person for many many years once I go to a psychic to see okay why why do I have this knowledge that when I was a kid I just thought everybody had I
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I got a little older, I was constantly told you're so smart, but you're such a bad student.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm dyslexic.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: So when when I was in school in Louisiana, the 70s and 80s, I don't think they even knew what dyslexia was.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: No, for real.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: I had a learning disability that was undiagnosed all the way through school.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I literally ended up not finishing high school and got a GED and that's the height of my formal education.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm self-educated.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I was a corporate executive where in order to report to me,
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that was an interesting experience, but well, that's just proof that you can manifest your way just about anything.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I don't think you can become a surgeon without formal education.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: But in the in the corporate world that I was in, if you were good enough, I just decided I'm going to be so good at what I do.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to matter whether I have this formal education or not.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I want to start writing books,
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: I really had to educate myself.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: My stepmother's was an English teacher.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: So the first manuscript I sent her had like a hundred red marks on every age.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: This was a long time ago before it, way before AI.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to educate myself.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I did.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: I educated myself on how to write and proper grammar and all of these things.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think goodness for Google, it came around at the right time for me because just at the time that I should have been in college,
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Then, the internet became a thing in Google, and suddenly I just dug into teaching myself, and it was the only way I could really learn, because a formal setting just doesn't work for me.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm self-educated, I am achieving all of these things financially, and then I start really looking to achieve an area of my life and my forties, and I can say right now that I have manifested an area.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: I would imagine your audience knows what manifestation means.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: We have a lot of channels are all talking about anybody that calls themselves a channel all they're doing is tapping into something that exists within all of us and it's not a deity.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I don't think it's it's dead people.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's aliens.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe any of that.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think there are people that put that out there.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the intention is good because they want you to tune in and listen and there's certainly a channel in community.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: There are people that hang on every word of anything they think is channeled.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: And if it helps them, just like anything else, I think it's wonderful.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: But if you don't know what channeling is, you are shifting your state of consciousness and tapping into something other than just your your mind.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the way that I know that I'm doing that is that when I go into that state, which I really don't do anymore, but I used to go into like a trans-like state, and I taught myself how to do this.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is where your listeners are probably like, oh, no, this dude is so weird.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I taught myself how to do it.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: And what would happen is I would you meditate very deeply, you get really, really calm, anything that is of ego, I try to, you know, detune, you're just let go.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: And then I just start speaking.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it works a lot better when someone else is asking questions.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: And after a few moments, it starts to take off in this direction.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: And things are coming out of my mouth that I have never thought of before.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: And that's when I'm in the background thinking, holy shit, this is what I'm really doing this.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: Uh-huh.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: So it's it's a thing.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's really a thing.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: But I understand how if you've never experienced it, it's really weird.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: But there are a lot of channels out there.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: I would say that Esther Hicks is probably the most prolific channel of mine.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: I call her the Beyoncé of channeling.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, really.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: What she doesn't advertise.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't market.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't play any of the the games, you know, social media.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: She just put stuff.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I love that about her.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's stuff out and there you go.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: You guys gotta look her up.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: You have to look her up and listen to some of the things
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: work they talk about and it's good.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: Really good at it.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: She creates sort of this uh somebody referred to as like a one woman show and it's very informative and I used to tell people in the corporate world when they would find out I would listen to this I got really into it for a while.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: I would just say set aside where you think it's coming from and just tune into what's being offered.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: There's something there that if you apply it in your life you'll see that it works.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: Again, evidence, don't just believe because we're saying believe us, take what we're offering, apply it, see that it works in small ways and then just expand that and it can work on every topic.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: So how did all of this, like all of your experience, what you started doing and changing, how did that come into you creating Taya?
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: And because this is, you call it like an, it's an advanced operating system for life.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like at what point did you get to and you're like I need to create a program like this needs to be a thing that I do.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the interesting thing is that as much as I have praised Esther and Abraham, it only goes so far.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: It really does focus on a term I don't even like to use that much law of attraction where your mind is creating a reality.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: And you've talked about in the fitness realm mindset is everything.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you think I've got to lose 30 pounds, and that's your mindset, you might lose 30 pounds, but you're going to gain, like, 30 or 40, right?
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to stick because you're not in that vibration.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: So the way to get fit and stay fit are get wealthy and stay wealthy.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's a couple of things.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: One is you've got to retune your subconscious mind to run that this is who you are.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: Totally agree.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: All the time, the other thing, and this is what I really focus on.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: is you also have to detune the fear of a going away.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's the leaning into low vibration.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: So when you listen to esterhicks or most of these channels, all you hear is, raise your vibration, raise your energy.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, all vibration means it's just your energy.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny how we say vibe, and we know exactly what that means, right?
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: They had a good vibe, that a bad vibe, I didn't like that dude's vibe, but as soon as you say vibration, people like, oh, no, what is that?
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's weird.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: Spiritual talk.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same thing.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's the energy that you're experiencing with something, right?
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: So vibration is just energy.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: So they're talking about high vibration, high vibration, positive energy, believing that you can, believing that everything is going to be okay, seeing the best in people.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's high
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: low vibration might be expressed as something like fear, judgment, needing to take a very divided identity, I'm this and everything that's not this is wrong.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: All of that, I would, yeah, I would identify all that is this lower vibration activity, you know, painting other people, judging other people, racism, all of that stuff is what I would call probably low vibration, a result of low vibration.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: So they say, raise your vibration, just think about what you want all the time, and that's what's going to happen.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that sounds lovely.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: And there was a book out about 20 years ago called the secret, and it's one of the best selling books of all time to this day.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: It is a wonderful gateway into conscious creation.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: However, it is very limited because it really does say that if you sit and focus on something.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just going to appear.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: There was a scene.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: There was a movie about this and there was a scene where this kid was thinking about a red bicycle.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I got to remember that.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and the bicycle.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I started thinking Bentley Bentley Bentley to this day.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: No Bentley has shown up.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: I could go out and buy one, but I want to manifest one, right?
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say so there's a lot of flaws in all of that.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: Good thing about it is it gets people thinking about mindset and that creation does occur from consciousness, but I've gone a lot deeper into how that actually works, because I'm as skeptical as anybody that you'll ever meet.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I like the evidential part of this.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: There's something there, but what's real and what's just selling books and seminars?
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: So when I set out, when I finally decided, I'm going to start channeling.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: My intention was, I understood the value of low vibration.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: I understood the whole process of creation.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: I understood how to manifest anything, how things de-manifest, how imperfection is inevitable for all of us.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I wanted to start teaching that.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I started the podcast.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: I quit my mid-six-figure corporate job with no clue how I was going to make a living.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: I was literally 10 years into this from my early 40s to almost 50.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: It was sort of the last frontier really trusting that the universe was willing to take care of me no matter what.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: If I believed it would,
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: So, and I was living in San Francisco, a very expensive city, huge expenses every month.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I just quit the job.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_00]: And all I had was a podcast and un-published book.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: And as you know, earning a living from a podcast unless you're Joe Rogan.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it ain't gonna happen.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right, it's not happening.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the same thing with publishing a book, you know, and again, unless you're JK Rowling or something like that, you're probably not making a ton of money unless you're just sort of, you know, in a claimed author selling millions of copies.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: I was realistic that I wasn't necessarily going to make a living doing that, but I didn't know how.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_00]: I just trusted and sure enough, a month or two into my unemployment or retirement from corporate.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: I met somebody that taught.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: anybody that was a spiritual teacher he or anybody in the spiritual category how to make a living doing that real living like a six-figure living doing it then of course that okay I want to hear this and she said you're going to do a course and right away I thought about these guys that were on YouTube back then with the Lamborghini behind them and I'm going to teach you how to get rich in three days I might know no no no no I don't want to be that that's not my thing I don't do that and she handled me so well she's like you go think about this
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: meditate and tap into this thing that you channel and come back to me.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I did.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the channeled the drop-in was, why are you judging this?
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is a path for you to actually earn a living doing what you say you want to do.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and by the way, it could lead to you actually solving the problem that you want to solve.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I took the judgment out of it.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: I dove in.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: I ended up being very successful in a coaching program called Abundance Breakthroughs and then in this Abundance Breakthroughs I realized, wow, we're tapping into something that's much more than a coaching course.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: This is a lifestyle, but how do I teach it?
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: So we created four pillars that this practice runs on those pillars or appreciation, source polarity and intention.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: The reason I create the four pillars is because I don't want it to turn into a cult.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it to turn into a religion.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's not about rules, it's not about worship, it's not about judgment.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's not even really about spirituality.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: It really is understanding that the bottom line is when you learn to appreciate every aspect of your life, all of those things heal.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you learn to appreciate anything in life that you judge, when you flip it to appreciation, the solving, healing power comes in.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: And it works in your personal life.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: You can apply it as soon as today, finding something, landing in something that it really isn't working for you, you're trying to work on something and just doesn't work.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: And you step away for a few minutes, you come back and suddenly it's fixed at works.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: Are you you solve it?
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: We can all experiment with that.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: And what's happening is is that when something is at working and you are stressed out, you're putting pressure on it, I've got to figure this out.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: I've got to figure this out.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have time for this.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: You are lowering your vibration for real and the solving power is not there.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: Everything grinds to a halt.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's when we de-manifest our fitness routine, our fortune, our business, our relationships, they come out how relationships work.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: In the beginning, you only see the positives.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then time goes by, you kind of settle into those positives and suddenly there's five new things that annoy you about this person that we're always there, you were just not choosing to look at them.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: right.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: We flip back to appreciation and what I found is that a lot of people in the law of attraction role think will if I appreciate something I'm going to keep more of it coming.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: And if it's something that I don't want, I can't do that.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: I've got to demonize it or forget about it.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, something that's really bothering you, you're not going to forget about
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't just forget about my mother disowning me, right?
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: It just forget about them until I couldn't happen.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of spirituality kind of leads you down that path, you kind of bypassing, pretending like everything is okay when it's really not.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't work.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't last.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: So the only thing I could do with my mother was understand her so deeply that I no longer needed to judge her or the experience.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: and then when I went into that deep understanding, I realized she was a deeply troubled woman who never wanted to have kids.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad she did.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I'm here.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: Even when she told me she wished I'd never been born, I said, well, guess what?
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm here.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: He did over it.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's done.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm here.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: So having nothing but appreciation for her for
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: the physical abuse, the emotional abuse, the abuse.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_00]: Backing me in the head with scissors when I was little and telling me to kill myself always really understanding that this was her suffering and this was my experience and if I allowed it to, it would make me a wiser version of myself as soon as I get past the judgment.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_00]: And so many people are trapped in the judgment of their lives, where they are, where they've been, what might happen in the future, what's happening to other people, they are down in that low vibration energy that doesn't solve or heal anything.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: So tie a gives you a daily practice to live by that raises your default vibration through detuning.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: meaning we're finding appreciation for the things that we're we're told not to appreciate.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: And when we do, we heal them.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: We start, we end our own suffering and it does solve them.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: It solves everything.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's a magical practice, but we operate sort of in this matrix of beliefs that we have to fight and battle and push.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I always say we'll just notice that the things that we fight battle and push against, it's stronger.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, today's episode is brought to you by SimplyGreens.

- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of people hold on to that and that just being trapped in that because it's a fall sense of security too.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like we, fears and good for us, being afraid isn't good, having all that, you know, like anxiety around it, terrible, but it's also comforting.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's also like we know what this feels like.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: We know what to expect.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_01]: And then, what do you mean David let that go?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, then what will happen?
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: At least now, I can kind of control my feelings in an uncontrollable situation with just fear and anxiety.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: And you want me to let that go?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's my identity, right?
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Victim becomes an identity.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's so nurtured in our society.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you poor thing.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's terrible.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: That should have never happened to you.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: Those people are narcissists.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: They're mong.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: We have all these labels and you're not.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you're a victim of all that.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: And the problem with that is, is it keeps them stuck in that space and keeps them suffering.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_01]: How do we detune?
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: What does detuning mean?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: What does that look like?
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I like the word ketuning because you're not going to just decide to eradicate something, right?
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: If you have a eating disorder and you just decide one day, I'm never going to eat a carbohydrate again.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, it doesn't work.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: No, that doesn't work.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_00]: So what you do is you detune that part of you that is addicted over time as a practice and you allow yourself to fail and you allow yourself to come back again and again and again.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, eventually, I compared detuning for lack of a better comparison to sort of like having radiation.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: You have a cancer, something that you don't want, and you're going to go for treatment at over time.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: The goal is to radiate this enough so that it shrinks and shrinks and shrinks and loses its power essentially dies inside you and your body flushes out whatever's left and goes away and then you no longer have that.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: the thing that you say shouldn't be, any of those things, and we all have these things.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: I always say that we have this sort of, this is basement, and we've all of this crap stored in our basement.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: And it's the bully that picked on me in grade school, and the person that dumped me in high school, and the partner that cheated on me in the boss that treated me bad at the time, but I was completely broken.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't know I was going to be able to pay rent or not.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: All of that stuff lives in the basement forever until we detune it.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: As long as we're saying that shouldn't have happened, I shouldn't have done that, that shouldn't be happening.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: All of that should not.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_00]: Keeps those things trapped in the basement, which is your subconscious mind.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to see that express itself emotionally.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's your default.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's when you wake up first thing in the morning and Tim things drop into your mind that you're worried about.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: and you're on autopilot that way, right?
- 36:20[SPEAKER_00]: And are you having dreams that are disturbing in some way?
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you realize that maybe the stream is a reflection of something that I'm kind of worried about, but I varied.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: We're really good at bearing things.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_00]: We're really good at distraction.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: We have these little devices are so good.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: A distraction, just get on there and scroll, tick, talk, and release that dopamine.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_00]: And suddenly, you're not thinking about the 10,000 things that you're worried about anymore.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: But unfortunately, all of that turns into some sort of an addiction, scrolling addiction.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: you're literally giving me like chills right now.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think you're you're tapping into my other channel.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when you're talking about like the basement and stuff, and when you're talking about like, if you're still saying, I should know really, you know, like these things, I'm sitting here thinking of like, I literally just said that yesterday.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: of like, I should have never gone there.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: I had like a terrible thing happen back several months ago, and I'm still on my healing journey for it.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: I talked about a little bit the other week of my podcast for the first time, and I just said to someone, like, damn, that should have never happened.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: I should have never been there.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: And as you're talking, I'm like, oh, it's still in my basement.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's still in my basement.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, and the last couple nights.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: I've had terrible dreams.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: And then you said dreams.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: Because there are a reflection of what's in the basement that if your dreams are waking you up, if you're having sort of nightmareous dreams, embrace that because that's a clear sign that, you know, maybe I need to not be afraid of the basement.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I need to go down and flip the light on and always say go down, flip the light on, understand that if there are a hundred boxes in your basement, you're not going to unpack all of them at once.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: And don't try to.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: Don't try to fix everything.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: We always think that there's this finish line that when we're all fixed,
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I have hit a stride in my life where I was in shape, living very well financially, met the love of my life, completely healthy, great dog, wonderful living exactly where I I hit all of it.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: All of it.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_00]: Pre-COVID, I was right there in the sweet spot.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it didn't last.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: because it's not supposed to last.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're not supposed to live in perfection.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: You can improve any topic, but the journey from this is not working to this is working.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's why we're here.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's why we come to I channel this and I completely believe this.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a belief.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: I completely believe that we are here to grow through new creation and that from a soul perspective, a universal perspective, we're not judging what creation is, the judgment of what our creation is is ego.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: This is what your life is supposed to look like.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is who you're supposed to be.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not bad.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not demonizing ego, ego, gave us technology, ego, gave us, you know, transportation, the ability to travel, you know, we get up every day because of our ego.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we're detuning our ego, but we're not eradicating our ego.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're just really putting ego in his proper place, understanding that it's overdeveloped in our current
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: I call it the Instagram version of life, you know, you got to have the biggest house and the hottest partner in the best body, you've got to defy you, you've got to go get that new face lift and look 30 years younger than you really are.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I think all those things are great, by the way, there's nothing wrong with wanting a face lift or having the hottest body or the biggest house or wanting the only yacht, there's nothing wrong with any of those things.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: Just don't depend on any of that for your identity, I eat your happiness, because I have manifested and I be manifested and manifested again and I have found joy in the whole process.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I know you're like listen to me.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know well, and I like how you talked about detuning to of like how it's an over time failure practice repeat and I do that a lot with my coaching my one on one coaching that I do with clients is like, hey, buckle up because this is going to be a long ride.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be a long journey and I'm going to let you fail.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: I could tell you all of the things to do, but I'm going to let you show up.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to work through it during your hard days.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then some days are going to be quiet.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to be like, why am I even paying this bitch?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, why am I going to get hurt?
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's gonna be other days where you're like, oh my god, this is why this is hard.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: How do I figure this out?
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: And then they find themselves, and you probably see this too, they find themselves like we're verting back and going to like, oh, fuck it.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, like, I'm just gonna do this whether that's like binging for some people or, you know, going home and just not getting out of bed or, you know, I'm sure you see it to everyone's like, and just reverting back to who they were is different.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: But that's the hard times.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's the time where it's like,
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: go through it, learn from this.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: And part of Ty is we've built something into it called the Spin Out, because the Spin Out is natural.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: You are going to spin out.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: If you start a new business and I really understood the process of creation, I understood it on a certain level until I read a book, oh gosh, over 10 years ago now, it's about Steve Jobs and how Apple came to be in the whole saga of that company, how many times it almost went out of business.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: And he was removed to CEO at one point and brought back in all this
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: before it became one of the most profitable companies in the history of the world, it almost, it spun out several times.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_00]: And now, you know, we see this stagnation that happens with that company.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't pay that much to student anymore.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: But there's some stagnation that can happen.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's some lack of innovation.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: And then suddenly there's something new.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's true for all creation.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: All creation, low vibration exists to challenge all creation.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're in a fitness routine, you know, new fitness routine, or a health regime, or you're starting a business, or you're in a new career, or you're trying to build a fortune, or a relationship, every single one of those things is going to be challenge, you're going to plateau.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_00]: Something's going to spend out, you're going to injure yourself in the gym, and suddenly you can't work out like you, you were, and then you have a choice.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: You can spend out and say, screw it, I'm just going to give up.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to injure myself.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to go back to the potato chips and the TV.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: And you can even have that experience.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: The person that really excels in something is the ones that people that allow themselves to have the spin out and then get back to it.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: A million times.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, why do you think I'm curious about what your input is on?
- 42:17[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you think so many people can't do that?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: And don't do that.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't learn from the spin out.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think we are taught this concept of failure as a negative thing, but then if you talk to any successful person, on any topic.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: They will say they will tell you how many times they've been challenged or are in quote unquote failed at something and something finally hit and worked and eventually something does hit and work if you Yeah, to nasty is everything, but it's interesting that we're really not taught to nasty and I do talk about the collective consciousness of humanity as a matrix not as a sci-fi evil being behind the curtain time, I say we're in a matrix off the time we are in a matrix and in the matrix is designed to.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: hold people in a certain space, because we need workers.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: My father, because I wasn't a good student, that I was the middle child.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: My sister was a straight-a student.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: My older brother was a straight-a student.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: And my father would look at me and say the world needs ditching her too.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: Putting me down for not being as busy as the student is not sibling.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: But then I realized, you know, my father was right, the world does need ditch diggers.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_00]: We need somebody to show up and work in the sewage plant and the slaughterhouse and dig the pipes and the ditches.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: And those people offer value.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very grateful that we have them, but there's a mindset that this is what you are and who you are that humanity is created that is limiting.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: because humanity came up with this industrialized system where we need people to believe that this is the best you're going to do so that they do it and they you know give us 20 30 years of labor that we need and we don't need them anymore.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I hate to sound so cynical.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually saying I appreciate that that's the system that was not that it's perfect.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: I believe anybody can achieve anything that they really believe they can.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: They just have to be tenacious about it and move through those spin outs.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: However, I don't want to demonize that because that will give it power.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking at it and saying, okay, understand why that happened.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: I understand why people thought we needed that.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: Just like I understand why religion says, you know, that you need to behave this way, or you're going to go to hell.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's how it's raised.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: I understand why it's designed that way.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's to control, but there's a positive side to the control, certainly.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: We are aging out of that.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think that we were evolving out of that with our ability to okay, religion, more people than ever are questioning all of that.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: I question it years ago, but then I kind of moved into spirituality, new age.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of that just didn't feel right for me.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of wanted to parse through what is the the woo woo stuff that's just a soothing belief that works for a minute and what really works and all of this stuff.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where the
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: Even science says that, you know, the theory of relativity and all of these things really point to conscious creation, right.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_00]: So if science is proving it and we can apply it in our lives and prove it to me, that's the part of new age spirituality that works.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: The fake gratitude and the wanting to talk to aliens and all of that, I think if somebody will see that that's fine, I have not found value in that personally.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: So now what?
- 45:21[SPEAKER_00]: If we're moving out of religion, we're moving through spirituality, we have this gateway and a law of attraction.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you can have a better life if you believe it and mean create from your consciousness.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think most people know that on some level.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: But then what comes after that?
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I create a tie-up for what comes after that.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: And interestingly, I create a tie-up at the time for humanity when we are unemployed ourselves on mass.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, AI, this AI that we have access to right now, I think is like a black and white television compared to what really is going to be.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: And we already know that there will be robotics and intelligence that can do most every job there is.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to employ ourselves.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that means that humanity is going to just die off and stop being.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think, overall, we will evolve to something other system.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: We created a system of commerce based on labor and contribution.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_00]: We are going to have to create another system.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: So Tia gives you the tools to move through these massive changes that humanity is creating for itself right now and understand that when we default back to trust, trust and her well-being literally trusting.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: then we are going to be okay.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: And the only way that we can literally trust is to detune any and everything that keeps us from trusting.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: The limiting beliefs, the old ideas, the judging ourselves for where we've been or where we are, you can't simultaneously trust and be in high vibration and have all of the judge's been going on.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's a really good point.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: It can't be happening at the same time.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: Can't coexist?
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what are ways, and I hate that?
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: I hate asking for like hacks or like tricks because there aren't any, but like, are there things that you could tell our listener right now?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them that's listening and they're like, oh, man, I really need this.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: What is something that they can start doing like today?
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have anything that's like an easy, like start doing this?
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, I want them to work on your program and read your book and then listen to the podcast and put those tools in their toolbox.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: everything's a tool.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: As I'm always telling people like you carry around this giant toolbox, this podcast is a tool in there.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: This book is that book and I want you to be a part of their toolbox.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: But what is something that they could start applying today?
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: The best thing to start applying right now today is learn teaching yourself to catch.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: Meaning, we run on autopilot.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: So we are constantly being triggered by things.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: We're being triggered into judgment, we're being triggered into fear, we're being triggered into fear about money, politics, health, all of these things that we think are important.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: And we run on this.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: And one way to avoid that is to shut everything down, don't participate in society, go bare your head and Sam.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that's realistic today.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: We have there's too much positive and everything that we have available.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: So instead of just running on autopilot, day by day, remind yourself to catch when something triggers you, because if your triggers are great, it's a great piece of information about a belief that you're holding on to that you might want to consider detuning.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: and your vibe drops, you know your vibe drops because emotionally it just, it's that sinking thing we all get.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: Your emotions are a wonderful indicator.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I say emotional intelligence, not be up in high emotion all the time.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's allowing your emotions to inform you what's really going on in your belief system and understanding that your life is a reflection of your belief system period.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_00]: So an example of a catch, the little voice in your head that kind of chimes in and says, Oh, you'll never be able to do that.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's not you.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: You weren't born into the right family.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: You're not the right race.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: You're not the right whatever catch that voice.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_00]: give it an identity that is something that is not you separate it kind of make a little thought bubble out there.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_00]: I named mine Claude years ago or shut up Claude.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: Stop Claude.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because that voice is so overdeveloped and most of us, and I call it the voice of limiting beliefs.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_00]: And so give it an identity that is unique.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's somebody that bullied you in grammar school or somebody that you just don't like.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: Give it to you.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know anybody named Claude.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: I had no negative connotation.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: I just thought
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: I had no, I never had a friend named Claude, so it's a really cool circus for me, but back then I didn't, and I named it Claude, and I just started detuning Claude every day of my life that every time that would chime in, it was very active.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, when you were raised, telling you that you should have never been born, you have a very active Claude voice.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I would tell Claude, I would just put Claude on mute, shut up, not now.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: Don't want to hear it.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's just Claude.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's not me.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: So when you parse it out as something separate from you, what that does is it gives you more control over it.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's not running while on autopilot.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: And it takes discipline.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: It takes practice.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is just like going to the gym.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: you go to the gym every day, your body is going to start showing those results from what you're doing in the gym.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: The practice is the same thing.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to practice mindset where if you want to change your life, you have to do it as a change your mindset.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_00]: So that clawed catches a good one.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: Another catch that I love is whenever I see something that is unjust,
- 50:42[SPEAKER_00]: our greedy or just something that's just really annoying.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_00]: My favorite catch for that, as I always say, oh, that's right, bullshit makes the world go around.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's playful, but I had this situation.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: I have a really nice television that we bought less than a year ago for our house, and it died.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I won't name the name of the company.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to give it a trouble, but the big TV company, and I call and say this TV is completely dead.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: They said, oh, well, you need to have it replaced.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Let me transfer you to the replacement department.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: Replacement department is closed due to a storm.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, fine.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, several days.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody else calls me back, call them back.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, let me transfer you to the replacement department.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: I go to the replacement department.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, you need to have repair come out first.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: I already talked to repair.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: They said, I need replacement.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we won't do anything for you.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: You have to go back to it.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I was bad at back and forth like seven times.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_00]: I was judging it.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_00]: I was frustrated by it here.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm teaching this and I still have these daily frustration and till I finally said, oh wait, this is just corporate BS bullshit makes the logo round.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is just a game they're playing hoping maybe I'll go away.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know or they just don't.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they're in a call center all shore somewhere.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_00]: They're not really worried about my IT problem.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I detuned it and I'm not kidding.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_00]: The second I detuned it, I got the nicest lady on the phone.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: She says you don't have to hang up and call another member.

- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: My own practice, I'm telling you right now, I spin out of it, but I love that I do because we're not going to be perfect, but it's a great solving tool and of course there's lots of other areas of my life that I solve very efficiently because I apply it so broadly, but I love it when I find something where I'm realizing that I'm not even applying my own practice right now.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_00]: The light do and then it works and then I realize all that suffering that I created for myself over three days.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: I can for that was just my own experience, my own creation.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: And then I don't judge myself for it.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
