- 0:07SPEAKER_03: If you would please.
- 0:11SPEAKER_03: Give me a second, guys.
- 0:13SPEAKER_03: This is Dr.
- 0:13SPEAKER_03: Brett here.
- 0:14SPEAKER_03: Give me one time to try to find out who's talking here.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: All right, thanks.
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: There we go.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: Here we go, guys.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: Alright, this is Dr.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: Brett Brimhall here.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: I'm excited to spend a little bit of time with you.
- 0:29SPEAKER_03: Excited to have Dr.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: Hatch on the call.
- 0:31SPEAKER_03: This is uh a Wellness Wednesday, and we've been doing these uh, you know, several years, and this is gonna be a fun little topic to talk about.
- 0:38SPEAKER_03: Uh, it's been in the news a lot.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: Uh, it's a lot bigger problem than people realize, um, and it's impacting your health right now, whether you know it or not.
- 0:45SPEAKER_03: So just briefly, I'm a chiropractor, a nutritionist acupuncturist here in the Phoenix area.
- 0:51SPEAKER_03: I've been in the healthcare space really since I was born.
- 0:54SPEAKER_03: I've been practicing close to 27 years.
- 0:56SPEAKER_03: Dr.
- 0:57SPEAKER_03: Bud Hatch, he's my cousin.
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: We've known each other really forever.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: We practice very similar, just an hour or so apart.
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: And he's been a mentor and friend of mine for a really, really long time.
- 1:07SPEAKER_03: And I asked him to do this with me because we both work with a lot with individuals that struggle with different health concerns.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: And one of the things that we do a lot of is a system called the Six Steps of Wellness, which is we identify six major causes that improve people's health or how them reduce it.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: One of them is toxins.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: We're going to really hit that hard tonight.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: So if you have questions, throw them in the chat.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: We'll try our best to answer them.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: But hey, Dr.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Hash, thanks again for spending some time with me.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: I know you and our both leaving the convention tomorrow, but we wanted to kind of hit this topic really hard for people to know how big a deal this is.
- 1:41SPEAKER_03: So appreciate you being here.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: You bet.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: I'm glad to be here.
- 1:44SPEAKER_02: You know, not every day we get to talk about plastics and different things of what they are.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: We're around them all day long and nobody realizes they're creating problems.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so right now I want you guys to just pause and look around and see how much plastic is around you.
- 1:59SPEAKER_03: Like, just real quick.
- 2:01SPEAKER_03: Like plastics or what we call forever chemical, then like throw in the chat, like what do you see?
- 2:06SPEAKER_03: Like just around me, I see some of the equipment I've been using today.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: I see part of my phone, I see cups, I see packaging, like it's everywhere, right?
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: Everywhere.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: It's been in our lot in our world really the last 50 plus years.
- 2:21SPEAKER_03: I really was kind of brought into society back in the 1950s where it really started becoming popular, right?
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: And it's just gotten more and more there.
- 2:27SPEAKER_03: Everywhere.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: Toys, oh man.
- 2:30SPEAKER_03: Even toys.
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: Hand sanitizer, yep.
- 2:36SPEAKER_03: Books, clothing.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: So, Dr.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: Hatch, as you and I were kind of doing some research on this on this subject this week.
- 2:43SPEAKER_03: Tell me some of the things that maybe I don't know maybe surprise but shocked you as you kind of went through this.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: You know, just how long it's been going on.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: You know, this just didn't begin yesterday.
- 2:53SPEAKER_02: That was one of the shocking things I kind of thought of.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: I said, man, this has been going on since the industrial age began.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: And when we think about it, we started making things.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: The other thing that was kind of shocking is I thought about my grandkids and the toys they play with now.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: When I was a kid, I got a Tonka toy truck.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: There's very little plastic on it, it was all metal.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: Now everything they get is plastic.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: And so they're they're getting exposed early to it.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: We see a lot of different things happening in the world where there's a lot of uh health issues or learning disabilities due to that.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: I'll put those in.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: When it starts, yep, that's good.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Might go get this done.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Sorry, darling.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: No problem.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: Okay, we gotta mute some people here, kids.
- 3:39SPEAKER_03: There we go.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so like I think toys is a big one.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: Like, I I do remember like a lot of my toys early on, they're all metal.
- 3:46SPEAKER_03: Now what is everything is plastic?
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: Like everything is plastic.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: So all right.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna talk about plastic and then a few other things.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: So what what else surprised you as you're kind of going through this?
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: Like, I again I really got shocked, like, man, there is I remember a couple years ago, I was really trying to focus on like reducing my plastic load because I did some testing on myself and I I didn't have no high plastics because I've been intensely practicing, but I was like, I was trying to reduce the amount of plastics in my environment.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: There it's everywhere, like everywhere.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: And and like even I was trying to change my water system, and I'm like, there's plastics everywhere.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: So it gotta it just felt a little overwhelming.
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: So if you if you want to dive into this a little bit and you want to just gotta go to unravel hole, yeah, there's some books out there called Tyrant Toxic.
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: There's tons of really good podcasts out there about plastics.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: And what I'll tell you right now is we don't fully understand the long-term effect that's had on health.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: Like that we do not know.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: They're not like all this 100% human clinical data, like this causes that.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: We'll talk about a few of the studies and what we do know that I would directly address because I don't think any level of plastic is healthy.
- 4:58SPEAKER_03: Like any level of phthalates is healthy.
- 5:00SPEAKER_03: There's not any level of like heavy metals that that are that are healthy and your environment is full of them.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna talk about the things you can do if you don't get sober well.
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: What what else kind of surprised you, Dr.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: Hash as you would kind of do it in research?
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: You know, as I was going through it, I mean, I I've known plastic has been kind of deals with our hormones quite often just because I deal with a lot of infertility over the years and uh had put a lot of people on detoxification.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: But what I didn't link, which I don't know why I didn't link, is some of the other endocrine systems that actually really function and work with our body, such as our thyroid, our hype hypothalamus.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: All of those have an effect on how things are happening.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: And when they're getting our adrenal glands, and number one thing, I I can't tell you how many people walk through my office telling me I'm exhausted all the time.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: You know, and I've always been able to give them something supplementation-wise or nutritional-wise to take.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: But then I started saying, I've been missing a link of what I really need to be focusing on, and that's the reduction of the plastic that's going on in our world right now.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: So we need to help the endocrine system overall reduce the plastics.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: When I put people going through fertility things, we used to take them off of all anything in a bag or a box.
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 6:15unknown: Yep.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: And it's kind of fun, like I I have to know when I was doing this research, it they hit that really hard.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: And so if you know of individuals that maybe are struggling with fertility, and this is a big deal, it's all over the place.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: There's some really, really fascinating things.
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: So you think of, so we're gonna talk about kind of interchangeable things like plastics, what's called phthalates, BPAs, BPSs, microplastics, nanoplastics, PFASs.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: So there's there's different titles you hear about what they call forever chemicals.
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: What is interesting, the way God designed this, he put barriers in places to protect certain tissues.
- 6:49SPEAKER_03: So we produce what's called a blood-brain barrier to protect our brain from some things that are in the blood that could the body blood might have toxins in it.
- 6:58SPEAKER_03: He also put a barrier, which is fascinating, in there's a barrier in the testes, and there's a barrier in the or the ovaries are.
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: And they're both designed to try to reduce like toxins getting into places that matter.
- 7:12SPEAKER_03: And unfortunately, because there's this phrase called nanoplastics, these plastics get through those barriers.
- 7:21SPEAKER_03: And as I was doing and digging this research, I'm like, wow, that is it, it this is one of the reasons why they used to think this is one of the reasons why they're seeing problems.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: There's a definite, there's an after definite cause they look at when it comes to animal studies, and they're not saying cognitive, but definitely correlations with fertility because they know fertility rates are continually plumbing.
- 7:40SPEAKER_03: And I know for me in the last probably 15 years, I've done a lot of lab work.
- 7:44SPEAKER_03: It has surprised me how low of testosterone young guys have.
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: And this is part of the reason.
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: And one thing you brought up, Dr.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Hash, this idea that we know there's an endocrine component to it.
- 7:58SPEAKER_03: And these things tend to like tissues that are very active.
- 8:04SPEAKER_03: And those are your endocrine glands.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: Like you said, adrenals, ovaries, testes, thyroid, and breast tissue, like these tissues that are pretty active, these are the ones that like they tend to uptake it a lot because they have a lot of blood flow.
- 8:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so that really fascinating.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: Now, I know you have some grandkids, you know, a few.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: And yeah, just about 13.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just about 13, right?
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: And you have those grandkids.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: And so you think about one of the studies that I was reading through on this is that what they find is what really kind of surprised, not surprised me, it was kind of interesting.
- 8:37SPEAKER_03: And they were measuring some of these molecules in the meconium.
- 8:40SPEAKER_03: So meconium is the first poop of a baby.
- 8:43SPEAKER_03: Like, so the very first poop of a babies, they're in utero, they're born, their first poop is called mecconium.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: A hundred percent of the babies that they test the meconium had these things in it.
- 8:52SPEAKER_03: A hundred percent.
- 8:54SPEAKER_03: And you think, well, that's how does that happen?
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: Because they weren't born yet.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: But like 100% had these substances in the meconium, that means it was able to get into mom, get through the get through the liver, get through the kidneys, get through the placenta into baby.
- 9:12SPEAKER_03: I just like wow.
- 9:13SPEAKER_03: Like that to me, I'm like, that is that that's significant.
- 9:16SPEAKER_03: So we we need to we need to obviously work on like improving our ability to like not have it in our environment, but like, what are ways we can get it out?
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: What else?
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: Anything else that kind of like just shocked you?
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: I don't want to talk.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: This is not the goal is not to make depression here, right?
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: Right, yeah.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: No, but I mean we wanted to make you guys aware of what we need to do is are we the other thing is as you think about that, and this is a great time to bring that up since you said that, Brett.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: Can we get these out of our our world completely?
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: And the answer is no, right?
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: There's there's no getting this out of our world completely.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: We're gonna be exposed to that.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: Uh, one of the things that actually really made me start thinking is I've always known, especially after I heard Russell Blaylock and read his book, both him speak and and read his book and been to a few of his seminars.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: He talks about you need to cook your own water.
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: It's the cause of death when you don't do that.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: Now he he has a a basically a still to cook his water to get all the toxins out of it.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: And then he takes a went to lunch with him one time and he brought a a what is a doctor's bag in and he opened it up and it had two flasks of water.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: And I thought, oh, interesting.
- 10:28SPEAKER_02: Now I happened to be with one of our good friends, and I sat there and I said, Wow, I I thought kind of why is he bringing a medical bag into this meeting?
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: And and the thing is, he actually taught me at that time our dish soaps.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: The things we wash our thing, our dishes with are putting chemicals into it that are breaking down and affecting us plastics in those dishwashing things and our cups.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: So very interesting.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: So you know, and if you leave a bottle, Arizona, we're famous for a lot of heat.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: We leave bottles and we drink bottled waters and we leave them in the heat.
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: Guess what?
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: Now we just cooked a lot more of those toxins and uh we're leaving in direct sunlight.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: So I love it.
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: So we don't want to be depressing because when you really start gathering, like because I go through the research, there's so much of this in your environment.
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 11:20SPEAKER_03: But want to when I'm I'm gonna kind of give you some, I want to give you some ideas on what you can do with it.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: Because here's what you what you know.
- 11:27SPEAKER_03: It's in your environment.
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: Your job and opportunity is to find ways to reduce exposure, number one.
- 11:34SPEAKER_03: And I love what you just said, the water bottle thing.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: Just start asking yourself, like, how often do I drink from a water bottle?
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: And reduce that number one, because that's probably one of the most common sources of plastics.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: And also the the things you eat off of are the things you heat things food food into.
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: So when you're heating food and or so, anytime you involve heat and these chemicals, in any way, shape, or form, it's gonna intensify the absorption.
- 11:59SPEAKER_03: So water bottles, that again, look at baby water bottles, right?
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: Same thing.
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: All those type of things that basically we use that are made from these particular chemicals, especially when they're heated, is a problem.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: So I just I would say start reducing those.
- 12:14SPEAKER_03: So for instance, a hydro flask, right?
- 12:16SPEAKER_03: If you're drinking from hydroflask, that's a good.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: I actually had a conversation with a good friend of mine, uh he's been in water, RO systems for and distillers for 40 years.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: I asked him about some things.
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: He said RO gets it at 100%.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: So again, like if you if you're gonna put some money into something, whole house water system, RO system bare minimum, maybe a fit, a filter that at least at least eliminate some of these things would be a place to start, and ideally in glass, like glass or metal.
- 12:43SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: So someone said that like same thing with the five-gallon water dispenser.
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: So I have a five-gallon water dispenser, and so I have a I have a glass five-gallon bottle, and that sucker is heavy, right?
- 12:57SPEAKER_03: But that's what I use, but even then, like the components that the water goes through, a lot of more plastic.
- 13:05SPEAKER_03: So again, I'm I'm I'm trying, right?
- 13:08SPEAKER_03: I'm trying, right?
- 13:10SPEAKER_03: But that there's some things to work on there.
- 13:12SPEAKER_03: So I'd say that's that's one to work on.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: And then they talk about like giving your body because just again, that so I'm talking about the things you control, plastics, pesticides, herbicides, the things you cook on.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: So like if you're doing coffee or any type of hot drinks, like if you're putting into plastic things, like plastic bottles and plastic coffee cups, you are gonna get some of those phthalates in there.
- 13:37SPEAKER_03: You're gonna get some of those, those other chemicals in there because they're just in there.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: And just a couple of case in points, like what they do know is that they haven't autopsied a human brain and not found these things.
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: So it's in everybody.
- 13:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: And they are seeing some correlation between the, like they just sent us a couple of studies that they couldn't say causative, but there does seem to be more of the plastics in demented brains than non-demented brains.
- 14:00SPEAKER_03: Doesn't mean it's causative, it just means where even there is more there, it but it there could be other factors.
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: So if you're one of your things that say, I really want to protect my brain, I would look at that.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: Now, I know Dr.
- 14:11SPEAKER_03: Hatch, you and I, we've worked for a lot of years working with patients, and we were doing deep toxic, you know, deep redis intoxin load always.
- 14:19SPEAKER_03: Heavy metals, like we didn't talk about plastics a lot back then.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: We are obviously now.
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: Are there ways people could test it?
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: Are there ways that people can actually test plastics?
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, there's uh there's some great tests out there you can go get done.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: There's actually a you can reach out to your local chiropractor if he doesn't know, just reach out to somebody to find out.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: We actually have a plastic test that we do.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: I know there's some labs that are the medically integrated labs have plastic tests today.
- 14:46SPEAKER_03: So they're starting to test.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: So that is something just no, it's a possibility.
- 14:50SPEAKER_03: Like the reality is everybody we've tested has it, some are higher or lower.
- 14:54SPEAKER_03: Now, then what, based on what you're learning, like what are things that people can do to help their body like handle these things better?
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna talk when I talk about these forever chemicals, these are plastics, these are herbicides, these are pesticides, these are phalates, these are the things that like are what's called hormone disruptors.
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: These are heavy metals, these are things that actually are biologically harming us.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: So you God put into us like systems to allow us to try to handle our environment better.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: Now, understand some of these chemicals we're exposed to, like they haven't been around for a thousand years or hundred years, two hundred years.
- 15:40SPEAKER_03: And so your body processes are still developing.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: So that's something I and Andrea, thanks for putting that there.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: Fragrance, fragrances are big, like there's a lot of things that toxins in there.
- 15:50SPEAKER_03: And clothing, like that blew my mind too.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: Like there's a lot of these things are in your clothing.
- 15:56SPEAKER_02: And again, Andrea, put out there the fabric and fabric softeners, but also the little fabric towels we throw in the dryer with our clothes.
- 16:05unknown: Yeah.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: To make them smell pretty.
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 16:09SPEAKER_03: So what what are some what are some of the tools that or things that you're having people do?
- 16:14SPEAKER_03: Again, like reduced exposure, but like what are some of the things that you're recommending that they do to just improve their body's nominal biological processes to handle this whirlwind?
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: So one of the best things we use is every one of us use it, maybe on this call.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: Maybe there's somebody here new tonight just looking at this.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: So somebody invited you.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: But the NERF2 pathway is one of the most important ways to reduce the inflammatory response.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: The other thing that's really great, and we have the omega-3 oils, right?
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: The omega-3 oils, and what's wonderful about it, it encapsulates those uh toxins as they are being broken down and gets rid of them out of our body through the bowels.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: So it kinda they're very good at cleaning out and and transporting those things out of our body.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: So we've been drinking a lot of bad water for a long time, but also we know that there's a lot of toxins out there.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: We actually have something now called Protonumner 2 that actually really helps accelerate that detoxification process or reduce the oxidative stress inflammation process of that.
- 17:27SPEAKER_03: They were talking about antioxidants and and and the important role that they have in this game.
- 17:34SPEAKER_03: And they actually both of them mentioned like a specific plant.
- 17:39SPEAKER_03: They they mentioned what's called safari, which are from broccoli seed extract.
- 17:43SPEAKER_03: So both of them specifically mentioned broccoli, like, and the goal, the role that broccoli played.
- 17:48SPEAKER_03: Now, the reason why that is, there's certain plants that stimulate certain processes in the body, and that particular plant, the the broccoli seed extract, it stimulates a pathway known as NRF2.
- 18:03SPEAKER_03: Now, I'm just gonna just kind of segment just a second.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: There's a book called Grain Brain by Dr.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: David Perlmetter.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: And years ago, I remember reading in this book, he talked about this pathway, this unique pathway that helps your body make glutathione.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: So glutathione is like the mother of all antioxidants, especially in neurological functions.
- 18:21SPEAKER_03: And he said that we need people to make more of this.
- 18:23SPEAKER_03: He actually showed a really cool video about somebody with Parkinson's and they're shaking, and then he gave them an ID glutathione and he quit shaking because that's how powerful glutathione is.
- 18:32SPEAKER_03: And he talked about seven different plants or plant extracts that activate the NRF2 pathway.
- 18:39SPEAKER_03: I remember reading this before and as I was at a conference with him.
- 18:42SPEAKER_03: Here's the seven.
- 18:44SPEAKER_03: He he said, you know, you need what he said, so basically you got milk thistle, aswagonda, cumin, turmeric, black pepper extract, sulfur frame, and green tea extract.
- 18:59SPEAKER_03: Those seven.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: Five of those seven right here.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: And I remember reading that, and not at the time, I didn't know anything about this then, but I remember reading that and said, okay, that's kind of interesting.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: And the company I was teaching for at the time that was promoting another product called NRF2 Activator had the other two had broccoli seed extract and had black pepper extract.
- 19:17SPEAKER_03: And they're saying use this because this helps the body produce glutathione.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: It helps your body detoxify.
- 19:23SPEAKER_03: A couple years later, I realized that the reason why they only they only they said those seven, but use those two is there's a patent on this one.
- 19:30SPEAKER_03: Anyway, kind of side note, but it's interesting.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: So one of the key things that all the podcasts that I've listened to said that you've got to increase your antioxidants, specific glutathione.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: That to me would be the way I would do it.
- 19:39SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: The other thing they mentioned, I think you and I talked about this, Dodger Hash, and I and I didn't really think about the omegas, but remember, plastic is is a fat, right?
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: It's like it's a fat soluble.
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: So having the right omegas are critical for your body to encapsulate and pull it out.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: So I appreciate you bringing that up.
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: The other thing they mentioned was fiber specifically, like fiber.
- 19:57SPEAKER_03: Like your body has to have fiber in order for it to grab on and pull stuff out, especially in the intestinal tract and other places.
- 20:05SPEAKER_03: And I know you and I have talked a lot about this as when it comes to big body storage of fat, it's really important, right, to add fiber back into that.
- 20:14SPEAKER_03: And I know that that's one thing we use in the mind-body system, we'll use that GOP1 fiber because it helps that the body like get more fiber that we're not getting from our diets.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and fiber is really important.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: We don't get enough fiber.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: That's one of our biggest reasons.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: We see more disease processes all the way around, is not enough fiber in our diet at all.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: Everything's pre so processed and so broken down that it's becomes almost like a sugar in our body and more toxicity.
- 20:46SPEAKER_03: If you had to say, hey, here's you're taught uh two or three things to tell people, hey, remove this from your environment.
- 20:54SPEAKER_03: Top three or top two or three.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: For me?
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: I I think the number one thing we need to do reduce in our in our body is sodas.
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: Soda pops.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: Things that are sugary.
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: Why do you did you saying soda pops have an issue with these things?
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: I'm saying soda pops has an issue with these things.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: They create a lot of inflammation in our body.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: They're there most of them are don't have real sugar in them, right?
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Most of them have high fructose corn syrup.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: Creates an inflammatory response, creates more breakdown of the cells so other toxins can get in easier.
- 21:30SPEAKER_03: You know what is funny is I was uh listening to some of the podcasts Murray, they talked about some of the mineral waters out there, the sparkly waters, because I like to drink stuff.
- 21:38SPEAKER_03: And they're talking about how there were these these forever chemicals in in those waters.
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: And then said, well, they're they're in glass bottles, but there's coming in the water they were using.
- 21:48SPEAKER_03: So again, water, our source of water is one of the in my mind.
- 21:53SPEAKER_03: So water bottles and the source of water you're getting are some of the biggest ways you're getting it.
- 21:58SPEAKER_03: So look at those two and work on improving those.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: For sure.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: Those are a couple of mics.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: And the soda is a big part of that.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: One of the other things is the bubbly in the soda kills off our bacteria in our gut.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: You're doing an R fun today.
- 22:12SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: I I hate to do that.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: Somebody's got to do it.
- 22:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no doubt.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: Okay, so any other, like say that any one other thing you say, hey, this is this is key to remove out to reduce forever chemicals.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: Uh anything that's processed.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: If it comes in a box or a bag, get rid of it.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: It's I mean, not only is those boxes probably getting causing problems and creating, you know, toxins in our body, but get rid of them.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: And bags are too.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: I mean, everything's in a box or a bag now.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: Everything's in pla if it comes in a plastic, avoid it.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: It's, you know, I remember having milk delivered to our house from our neighbor, and it was always in a gallon jet jar.
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: It was never in a plastic thing.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: When we have plastic, it breaks down.
- 23:02SPEAKER_03: And I'll say a can too.
- 23:03SPEAKER_03: That was another one that they're really big on.
- 23:05SPEAKER_03: Your canned food, remember, the canned foods have these forever chemicals in it too.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: And there's a couple of the podcasts who were hammering the canned food just because in order to preserve flavors, it has to have BPAs or BPSs in it.
- 23:20SPEAKER_03: And those are considered forever chemicals.
- 23:22SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: So it's super important.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: So if you can remove a lot of the processed foods from your diet, if you can remove plastic water bottles, plastic hydroflast, plastic, you know, heating, heating food up in plastic containers, nonstick pans, that right there is going to limit a bunch of the ones you can control.
- 23:43SPEAKER_03: Now, you cannot control what the air you breathe 100%, other than maybe filtering your house.
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: So when you're out into the world and you're breathing other the other things that are out there, it's going to be important for you then to support your body's natural processes in order to handle the environment.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: So to me, that would be activating the nerve two pathway.
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: For me, I choose to do protein nerve two, which again is that much more important to do.
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: The next one would be like make sure to have adequate fiber in my diet.
- 24:11SPEAKER_03: And I love what you said, Dr.
- 24:13SPEAKER_03: Hatch, is the omega-3 fatty acids, all of them are critical for your body's ability to take in and remove these things that we're getting exposed to that are not healthy for us.
- 24:25SPEAKER_02: And I think we need to throw Axio in there because I've seen some tremendous results, especially with my daughter, with the Axiom.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: That's what actually got me interested in this company and looking at it because I've been working with her learning disabilities, but it reduced that inflammation, which I think helped the cells to utilize her food.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: Because we eat pretty we eat clean and organically as much as we can.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: And don't buy a lot of stuff in in plastic.
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: So and we try to grow a garden, which is amazing.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: Trying to use natural herbicides.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: We only we get two growing seasons here, but they're short.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: So it's one of those things you look at.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: So trying to help the the body have the most natural, most organic that we can help the body kill itself.
- 25:12SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: To summarize, like say you have a you know, you're the patient's coming in and they're you think this is a huge component for them.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: Like what are you gonna tell them?
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: Like this is this is this fervent chemical you think is actually tr truly attributing to their cause, their their health demise.
- 25:30SPEAKER_03: Like, what do you tell them?
- 25:31SPEAKER_02: I actually tell them we need to actually go on a usually a diet of some time for a period of time.
- 25:38SPEAKER_02: I have several different diets that I use in my office that we actually reduce the uh types of foods that they're allowed to put in.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: If it comes in a box in a can, if it has fizzy with it, if it's uh processed, those are all nose on that.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: We go to more uh organic vegetables, fruits, good organic meats as much as we can, and grains, and uh quinoa's, uh, millet, all the things that we need to do that's going to be less toxifying to the body, the more we can reduce the stress on our body through our diet, the more effective the nutrients, the nerve two that we put in, the uh axios, all the things we put in, the more they will become effective.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: Perfect.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: Love it.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: All right, I'm gonna read a couple of things to you guys really quick.
- 26:31SPEAKER_03: Okay, so if you get if you and yet you can have the it if you get on the it'll be on the website later, I'm sure, if you want to pull it up.
- 26:38SPEAKER_03: But here are a couple of things you can start doing right now.
- 26:40SPEAKER_03: Number one, glass containers.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: Like use those over plastic, especially what you drink out of get some good water filtration system, right?
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: When you reheat meals, glass or ceramic.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: Like no more, no more plastic, okay?
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: Replace your fragrance products, right?
- 26:57SPEAKER_03: So you're fragrance free as far as uh the has any stuff in it, okay?
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: So find clean products that way.
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: When you're like looking at your clothing, that's another big one, is like some of the clothing is really high in some of these things.
- 27:13SPEAKER_03: So I'd look, I would look at that.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: And then from a dietary standpoint, like let's start, we gotta add in like what I think Dr.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: Hatch said at best.
- 27:20SPEAKER_03: If you just remove the stuff that sits on a shelf for very long, you're gonna reduce your your load of these things drastically.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: Now, if you happen to be someone that does like, you know, you try to eat more organic because a lot of these perfect chemicals that are placed into the foods are coming from the soils and then where they're grown, just start reducing those.
- 27:39SPEAKER_03: Now, here's what's amazing.
- 27:41SPEAKER_03: Like all these things in our environment, but you're not always gonna feel the effect of them immediately.
- 27:47SPEAKER_03: But over time, it's cumulative.
- 27:49SPEAKER_03: Here's what's been fascinating.
- 27:51SPEAKER_03: Some of the studies that I read, the big that where they start seeing it maybe having a problem is that when it they your body, when you've been alive for a few decades, the accumulation gets worse.
- 28:01SPEAKER_03: And that's why they feel like some people going through perimenopause, andropause, all that are having a lot more symptoms during that time and why there's so many fertility issues, it becomes these forever chemicals.
- 28:12SPEAKER_03: If you're not utilizing some of these tools when it comes to the proton NRF2s or the right type of fibers, right type of omegas, like I would look into that because your body needs better, better resources.
- 28:24SPEAKER_03: And there'll be more and more research out there showing what is the most effective.
- 28:28SPEAKER_03: And so I'm just grateful to have those things available.
- 28:31SPEAKER_03: If you feel like this is a major problem with your health, like just find somebody professionally that can maybe do some testing, help you figure it out.
- 28:37SPEAKER_03: But this isn't a game of like, I'm gonna do it for a month or a week.
- 28:41SPEAKER_03: The reason why we do this whole Wellness Wednesday that we have for multiple years is we want to help get people the tools, the powers, and the knowledge to start making changes.
- 28:50SPEAKER_03: So, my goal for you this week is make one or two changes now as you're as your new floor is like, hey, no more heating up my stuff in plastic, no more, you know, nonstick pans, no more plastic water bottles, whatever it might be, like just like that's my new normal.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: Because if you do that from the next, you know, from now on forever, it's gonna have a drastic impact upon your help.
- 29:14SPEAKER_03: But also, if you have kids or grandkids and that's become their new normal, you're that changing another generation after you.
- 29:21SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 29:22SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: So I think Dr.
- 29:25SPEAKER_03: Hash did an amazing job.
- 29:26SPEAKER_03: So you guys throwing some shout outs in the chat.
- 29:30SPEAKER_03: And Santa, I appreciate you kind of throwing that out there.
- 29:35SPEAKER_03: So one of the things they're saying about these plastic fervor chemicals, they know they affect your interpretation system.
- 29:40SPEAKER_03: And if you look at the prevalence of some of these bad diseases out there, unfortunately, like there is some correlation between that.
- 29:46SPEAKER_03: So this is our option responsibility to just get to become educated.
- 29:51SPEAKER_03: And this isn't an alarm.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: It's just, hey, like we just got to figure out how to do a better job for ourselves and hopefully they create enough momentum in other places to get changes politically.
- 30:01SPEAKER_03: And here's the reality, this is uh, and this is what hit me hard.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: We've known for over 20, probably 25 years, that red diet was bad.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 30:12SPEAKER_03: It would just hold off this year.
- 30:16SPEAKER_03: So it's gonna take more of us like having these conversations to take change to finally get the change that needs to happen.
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: But for you and your family, change now.
- 30:24SPEAKER_03: Like make those three changes we said change now, take the right nutrients, but also like start removing the stuff.
- 30:30SPEAKER_03: You can do that.
- 30:30SPEAKER_03: If you're gonna put your your your body's health and your family's health in a whole different perspective.
- 30:34SPEAKER_03: So, Dr.
- 30:35SPEAKER_03: Hatch in the best.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: Appreciate you, man.
- 30:37SPEAKER_03: You guys I will see you tomorrow.
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: Thank you guys for all being on.
- 30:42SPEAKER_03: Okay, guys.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: Talk to you later.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: Have a good night.
