- 0:00Speaker 1: Envisioning oneself, witnessing oneself, being here now, bundles of miracles, everybody, lots of things going on.
- 0:13Speaker 1: All of us can always say this.
- 0:16Speaker 1: There's lots of things going on.
- 0:17Speaker 1: There are millions upon millions of things going on, even just inside of ourselves, when we think about all of the processes and all of the other different things going on simultaneously.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Millions, trillions of things, billions of things going on simultaneously.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Right or wrong.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Being here now.
- 0:39Speaker 1: A bundle of miracles, because this is what it is: focusing and concentrating, increasing our awareness of everything we can, everything we can grasp and come to terms with, be receptive to, accept, reflect, discern, and make better determinations, positive improvements, smaller steps to be more assured, to be a little more careful, more conservative, balancing oneself, modifying one's behavior, one's thinking, one's everything, being watchful, being a witness, being objective, interested in attaining more virtuosity, self-improvement, being receptive to where one is weak, to help foster strengthening our beings.
- 1:48Speaker 1: We can do this.
- 1:51Speaker 1: This is the beauty of being alive and aware, is we can learn from our experiences.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And we do, all of us do.
- 2:03Speaker 1: We all have a history of doing this in whatever fabric and form we choose to lead our lives.
- 2:11Speaker 1: If you can hear these words, then you do, of course.
- 2:15Speaker 1: By definition, we're alive, we're aware, and there are degrees and levels throughout.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Everyone is unique, everyone deserves respect for their good qualities and compassion and empathy for one's poorer qualities, and this is the way it works.
- 2:40Speaker 1: This is the way the oscillation of energies have transformed and conformed over time, mankind's existence or intellectual evolution.
- 2:54Speaker 1: We are here now, the same bundles of miracles we were just a little while ago.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But in the meantime, how many have kept this in one's mind while I am talking?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Being here in this way, aware and shimmering with energy of one's vibration, of one's awareness, as much as one can, and accepting and realizing we need to be understanding of our own dispositions, our own personalities, how we have individually, uniquely evolved for a better sense of understanding, of a better sense of perspective in looking at oneself as well as everything which surrounds each one of us, and utilizing everything to help us grow, improve, foster positivity, not negativity.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It is a choice we can influence.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Each of us is a helmsperson upon our unique and individual ship of life.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We are the helmsperson in that we have our minds, our hands, our awarenesses, our perspective upon which we can be guided, help determine our course, our flowing momentum.
- 4:38Speaker 1: This is what mindful meditation is about, practicing being aware of this and learning to control it and improve oneself.
- 4:46Speaker 1: This is a nutshell of what we're talking about.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Does it work?
- 4:51Speaker 1: It works.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Why does it work?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Because it is practice.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And through practice one gains experience.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And through experience one gains a greater sense of awareness, of receptivity toward what one is more aware of because of one's practice, virtue, focus, concentration, receptivity, acceptance, witnessing, an observer, kind, considerate, understanding, having a wide perspective, utilizing as much as possible one's experiences to move from this moment we're into this moment now.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Being aware of one's physicality, of the shape of one's body, of the textures of one's skin, warm or cool or breezy, whatever you're feeling, this is the point.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And beneath the textures of one's skin, beneath the clothes or the air that we are in, feeling the pulse undulating through one's body.
- 6:28Speaker 1: One's heart is beating.
- 6:33Speaker 1: For sure, your body is feeling this.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Feel this now in oneself, in one's mind, being aware of this.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Easy?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Difficult.
- 6:45Speaker 1: If it's difficult, use two fingers from one hand under the wrist crease, on the wrist crease of your opposite hand's thumb, your palm facing up, and press gently.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Just right there at the edge of your wrist under your thumb.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Two fingers, press gently.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Radial artery, feeding your hand, oxygenated and energy laden blood.
- 7:14Speaker 1: This is what's going on.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Twenty-four-seven.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Approximately ninety thousand times a day.
- 7:23Speaker 1: This is you, me, us, homo sapiens, cousins.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Being what?
- 7:39Speaker 1: Energy, right?
- 7:41Speaker 1: That's what we are.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Energy.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Being aware of what we are.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Being aware of not only this energy that's emanating from ourselves, but the energy of the air.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It's not enough that we are ninety-nine point six percent the same.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Each and every human being is related like a cousin.
- 8:11Speaker 1: It is that everything, everything, everything one can conceive is related as well.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Everything is made of the primal energy of creation.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Science says energy is neither created nor destroyed.
- 8:31Speaker 1: So here we are, spreading out, developing, changing.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Seemingly the complexity of our universe is increasing.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Certainly here on this planet Earth, things have been changing and are rapidly changing still, if not even more so.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Being aware of the air as one is breathing.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So, being aware of one's heart and now one's lungs.
- 9:06Speaker 1: One's two lungs, if you're so fortunate to have your left and right, your upper and lower lobes in each, breathing in long and slow, pausing.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Breathing out long and slower.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Pausing.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Being here now, feeling restless blood as it's circulating through one's arteries and returns to one's lungs through one's veins.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Being aware.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Being aware beneath the warmth and the beating of one's heart, to one's circulatory system, of the omnipresent energy of oneself being alive, of a shimmering, cascading, flowing momentum, we call ourselves.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Being aware.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Being here now.
- 10:14Speaker 1: This is the same.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You could put an equal sign between those.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Being aware.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Equals being here now.
- 10:22Speaker 1: A bundle of miracles, a sense of positivity.
- 10:27Speaker 1: There is reason for every word.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Remember.
- 10:34Speaker 1: The music continues for another minute.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Linger.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Enjoy your day. namaste
