• 2:10
  And
• 2:10
  so,
• 2:11
  yes,
• 2:11
  they
• 2:11
  had
• 2:11
  a
• 2:11
  big
• 2:12
  influence
• 2:12
  in

  talk
• 2:16
  about
• 2:16

• 2:17
  If
• 2:17
  you
• 2:17
  think
• 2:17
  you're
• 2:18
  like,
• 2:18
  oh,
• 2:18
  my
• 2:18
  gosh,
• 2:18
  I
• 2:18
  can't
• 2:18
  believe
• 2:19
  they're
• 2:19
  talking
• 2:19
  about,
• 2:20
  like,
• 2:20
  councils
• 2:21
  and
• 2:22
  board
• 2:22
  of
• 2:22
  directors
• 2:23
  and
• 2:23
  committee
• 2:23
  meetings.
• 2:25
  Yeah,
• 2:25
  that's.
• 2:25
  That
• 2:26
  is
• 2:26
  what
• 2:26
  we're
• 2:26
  talking
• 2:26
  about.
• 2:27
  And
• 2:27
  we're
• 2:27
  going
• 2:27
  to
• 2:27
  talk
• 2:27
  about
• 2:27
  the
• 2:28
  influence
• 2:28
  on
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  good
• 2:29
  side
• 2:29
  and
• 2:29
  dark
• 2:29
  side
• 2:29
  of
• 2:29
  the
• 2:29
  Force
• 2:30
  when
• 2:30
  it
• 2:30
  comes
• 2:30
  to
• 2:30
  board
• 2:30
  meetings.
• 2:31
  But
• 2:31
  I'm
• 2:31
  really
• 2:31
  excited
• 2:32
  about
• 2:32
  this
• 2:33
  episode.
• 2:33
  So,
• 2:34
  Kevin,
• 2:35
  John,
• 2:36
  how
• 2:36
  are
• 2:36
  you
• 2:36
  doing?
• 2:36
  What's
• 2:37
  going
• 2:37
  on
• 2:37
  today?
• 2:37
  Are
• 2:38
  you
• 2:38
  feeling,
• 2:38
  are
• 2:39
  you
• 2:39
  feeling
• 2:39
  the
• 2:39
  Force
• 2:40
  today?
• 2:40
  Is
• 2:40
  there
• 2:40
  a
• 2:40
  disturbance
• 2:41
  in
• 2:41
  the
• 2:41
  Force?
• 2:41
  Are
• 2:42
  you
• 2:42
  feeling
• 2:43
  the
• 2:43
  light
• 2:43
  side
• 2:43
  or
• 2:43
  dark
• 2:44
  side?
• 2:44
  How
• 2:44
  are
• 2:44
  you
• 2:44
  feeling
• 2:45
  when
• 2:45
  it
• 2:45
  comes
• 2:45
  to
• 2:46
  the
• 2:46
  Force
• 2:46
  today?
• 2:46
  Kevin.
• 2:46
  Kevin,
• 2:46
  let
• 2:47
  you
• 2:47
  go
• 2:47
  first.
• 2:47
  How
• 2:47
  you
• 2:47
  feeling,
• 2:48
  man?
• 2:48
  It's,
• 2:49
  it's
• 2:49
  May
• 2:49
  4th.
• 2:49
  I
• 2:50
  always
• 2:50
  feel
• 2:51
  a
• 2:51
  strong
• 2:51
  sense
• 2:52
  of
• 2:52
  the
• 2:52
  forest
• 2:52
  flowing
• 2:53
  within
• 2:53
  me
• 2:54
  and
• 2:54
  onto
• 2:54
  others.
• 2:55
  So,
• 2:55
  you
• 2:56
  know,
• 2:56
  it's.
• 2:56
  I
• 2:57
  mean,
• 2:57
  yeah,
• 2:57
  there's
• 2:57
  Christmas,
• 2:58
  but
• 2:58
  for
• 2:59
  me,
• 2:59
  May
• 2:59
  4
• 2:59
  is
• 3:00
  a
• 3:00
  national
• 3:01
  holiday,
• 3:01
  international,
• 3:03
  a
• 3:03
  galactic
• 3:04
  holiday
• 3:04
  that
• 3:05
  anyone
• 3:05
  is
• 3:05
  welcome
• 3:06
  to
• 3:06
  celebrate.
• 3:07
  And
• 3:08
  I
• 3:08
  am
• 3:08
  very
• 3:08
  happy
• 3:09
  to
• 3:09
  be
• 3:09
  here
• 3:09
  discussing
• 3:10
  some
• 3:10
  of
• 3:10
  my
• 3:11
  favorite
• 3:11
  characters
• 3:11
  and
• 3:12
  the
• 3:12
  influences
• 3:13
  of
• 3:13
  the
• 3:13
  Jedi
• 3:14
  Council.
• 3:14
  Lot
• 3:15
  to
• 3:15
  talk
• 3:15
  about.
• 3:15
  As
• 3:15
  you
• 3:16
  said,
• 3:16
  the
• 3:17
  main
• 3:17
  challenge
• 3:17
  will
• 3:18
  be
• 3:18
  can
• 3:18
  we
• 3:19
  keep
• 3:19
  this
• 3:19
  one
• 3:20
  at
• 3:20
  40
• 3:20
  minutes?
• 3:21
  That's
• 3:21
  going
• 3:21
  to
• 3:21
  be
• 3:21
  my
• 3:22
  biggest
• 3:22
  challenge
• 3:22
  today.
• 3:23
  Yeah.
• 3:23
  Most
• 3:24
  committee
• 3:24
  meetings
• 3:25
  that
• 3:25
  I'm
• 3:25
  a
• 3:25
  part
• 3:25
  of
• 3:26
  in
• 3:26
  my
• 3:26
  life
• 3:26
  are,
• 3:27
  are
• 3:27
  not
• 3:28
  40
• 3:28
  minutes.
• 3:29
  So,
• 3:29
  man,
• 3:29
  we'll
• 3:29
  see
• 3:30
  what
• 3:30
  we
• 3:30
  can
• 3:30
  do.
• 3:30
  John,
• 3:30
  how
• 3:31
  you
• 3:31
  feeling
• 3:31
  with
• 3:31
  the
• 3:31
  Force
• 3:31
  today?
• 3:32
  Light
• 3:32
  side,
• 3:32
  dark
• 3:33
  side?
• 3:33
  Is
• 3:33
  there
• 3:33
  a
• 3:33
  disturbance?
• 3:34
  Feeling
• 3:34
  gray.
• 3:35
  What.
• 3:35
  What's
• 3:35
  going
• 3:36
  on?
• 3:36
  I
• 3:36
  feel
• 3:37
  disturbed
• 3:38
  in
• 3:38
  the
• 3:38
  Force.
• 3:39
  I
• 3:40
  think
• 3:40
  that
• 3:41
  just
• 3:41
  being
• 3:42
  a
• 3:42
  grown
• 3:42
  up
• 3:43
  right
• 3:44
  now
• 3:45
  is
• 3:45
  difficult.
• 3:46
  And
• 3:47
  there's
• 3:47
  positives,
• 3:48
  there's
• 3:48
  negatives,
• 3:49
  you
• 3:49
  know,
• 3:49
  light,
• 3:49
  I
• 3:49
  guess,
• 3:49
  light
• 3:50
  side,
• 3:50
  dark
• 3:50
  side,
• 3:50
  influences
• 3:51
  all
• 3:51
  around.
• 3:52
  But
• 3:52
  it's
• 3:53
  I'm
• 3:54
  just
• 3:54
  kind
• 3:54
  of
• 3:54
  like
• 3:54
  in
• 3:55
  the
• 3:55
  mire.
• 3:56
  Yeah.
• 3:57
  Existing
• 3:57
  but
• 3:57
  hopeful.
• 3:58
  Yeah,
• 3:59
  I'm
• 3:59
  with
• 3:59
  you.
• 3:59
  I
• 4:00
  There's
• 4:00
  definitely
• 4:01
  many,
• 4:01
  many
• 4:02
  times
• 4:02
  there's
• 4:03
  a
• 4:03
  disturbance
• 4:03
  in
• 4:03
  the
• 4:03
  Force
• 4:04
  whenever
• 4:04
  I
• 4:05
  start
• 4:05
  start
• 4:05
  scrolling
• 4:06
  on
• 4:06
  my
• 4:06
  phone
• 4:06
  and
• 4:07
  all
• 4:07
  those
• 4:07
  things.
• 4:07
  But
• 4:07
  I'm
• 4:07
  hopeful
• 4:08
  because
• 4:08
  I'm
• 4:08
  surrounded
• 4:09
  by
• 4:09
  some
• 4:10
  really
• 4:10
  outstanding
• 4:11
  Jedi
• 4:11
  right
• 4:12
  now
• 4:12
  with
• 4:12
  me
• 4:12
  on
• 4:12
  this
• 4:12
  epis
• 4:13
  and
• 4:13
  in
• 4:13
  my
• 4:14
  life.
• 4:14
  And
• 4:14
  so
• 4:14
  I'm
• 4:15
  also
• 4:15
  hopeful.
• 4:15
  Yeah,
• 4:16
  there's
• 4:16
  always
• 4:16
  that
• 4:16
  temptation
• 4:17
  to
• 4:17
  go
• 4:17
  down
• 4:18
  the
• 4:18
  road
• 4:18
  of
• 4:18
  fear,
• 4:19
  and
• 4:19
  fear
• 4:20
  leads
• 4:20
  to
• 4:20
  suffering
• 4:20
  and
• 4:21
  suffering
• 4:21
  leads
• 4:21
  to
• 4:21
  the
• 4:21
  dark
• 4:22
  side,
• 4:22
  all
• 4:22
  that
• 4:22
  stuff.
• 4:23
  But
• 4:24
  today,
• 4:25
  really
• 4:25
  excited
• 4:25
  about
• 4:26
  this
• 4:26
  episode
• 4:27
  and
• 4:27
  can
• 4:27
  kick
• 4:27
  out
• 4:27
  with
• 4:27
  all
• 4:28
  of
• 4:28
  you
• 4:28
  all
• 4:29
  on
• 4:29
  this
• 4:29
  May
• 4:29
  4th
• 4:30
  edition
• 4:30
  of
• 4:30
  Systematic
• 4:31
  Geekology.
• 4:33
  So
• 4:34
  yeah,
• 4:34
  to
• 4:34
  kick
• 4:34
  things
• 4:34
  off
• 4:34
  here,
• 4:35
  what
• 4:35
  are
• 4:35
  we
• 4:35
  geeking
• 4:35
  out
• 4:36
  on?
• 4:36
  John,
• 4:36
  I'll
• 4:36
  let
• 4:36
  you
• 4:36
  go
• 4:36
  first,
• 4:37
  buddy.
• 4:37
  What
• 4:37
  are
• 4:37
  some
• 4:37
  things
• 4:38
  you're
• 4:38
  geeking
• 4:38
  out
• 4:38
  on
• 4:38
  these
• 4:39
  days?
• 4:40
  Well,
• 4:40
  topically,
• 4:41
  been
• 4:42
  geeking
• 4:42
  out
• 4:43
  on
• 4:43
  the
• 4:43
  new
• 4:43
  Mall
• 4:44
  Shadow
• 4:44
  Lord
• 4:44
  show
• 4:44
  that's
• 4:45
  been,
• 4:45
  you
• 4:45
  know,
• 4:45
  dropping
• 4:46
  two
• 4:46
  episodes
• 4:46
  every
• 4:46
  Monday,
• 4:46
  which
• 4:47
  super
• 4:48
  excited
• 4:48
  about.
• 4:49
  Love
• 4:49
  Darth
• 4:49
  Maul
• 4:50
  as
• 4:50
  a
• 4:50
  character.
• 4:50
  It's
• 4:50
  just,
• 4:50
  he
• 4:51
  was
• 4:51
  just
• 4:51
  too
• 4:51
  cool
• 4:52
  to
• 4:52
  leave,
• 4:52
  you
• 4:53
  know,
• 4:53
  off
• 4:54
  in
• 4:54
  the
• 4:54
  first
• 4:54
  movie.
• 4:55
  So
• 4:56
  they
• 4:56
  brought
• 4:56
  him
• 4:56
  back
• 4:56
  and
• 4:57
  they're
• 4:57
  extending
• 4:57
  a
• 4:57
  story
• 4:57
  and
• 4:58
  they're
• 4:58
  connecting
• 4:59
  Clone
• 4:59
  wars
• 5:01
  and

  also

  the

  movie.
• 5:05
  I
• 5:05
  don't
• 5:05
  want
• 5:05
  to
• 5:05
  give
• 5:05
  too
• 5:05
  much
• 5:06
  away,
• 5:06
  but
• 5:06
  it's
• 5:07
  glorious.
• 5:08
  I
• 5:08
  love
• 5:08
  it.
• 5:08
  I
• 5:09
  wish
• 5:09
  they
• 5:09
  do
• 5:09
  more
• 5:09
  shows
• 5:10
  like
• 5:10
  this,
• 5:10
  which
• 5:10
  are
• 5:10
  much
• 5:10
  more
• 5:11

• 5:11

  I'm

  you,
• 5:19
  Kevin.
• 5:19
  How
• 5:19
  about
• 5:19
  you
• 5:20
  agree
• 5:21
  with
• 5:21
  John
• 5:21
  there?
• 5:22
  It's
• 5:23
  an
• 5:23
  absolutely
• 5:23
  fantastic
• 5:24
  show
• 5:24
  and
• 5:25
  the
• 5:25
  animation
• 5:25
  is
• 5:26
  spectacular.
• 5:27
  On
• 5:27
  a
• 5:28
  non
• 5:28
  related
• 5:29
  note,
• 5:29
  I've
• 5:29
  been
• 5:30
  listening
• 5:30
  to
• 5:31
  the
• 5:31
  new
• 5:31
  Noah
• 5:31
  Khan
• 5:32
  album
• 5:32
  on
• 5:32
  repeat
• 5:33
  that
• 5:34
  dropped
• 5:34
  last
• 5:34
  Friday.
• 5:35
  He
• 5:35
  actually
• 5:36
  did
• 5:36
  two
• 5:37
  versions
• 5:37
  because
• 5:37
  he
• 5:37
  had
• 5:38
  the
• 5:38
  initial
• 5:38
  album
• 5:39
  and
• 5:39
  then
• 5:39
  he
• 5:39
  had
• 5:39
  an
• 5:40
  extended
• 5:40
  one
• 5:40
  with
• 5:41
  four
• 5:41
  additional
• 5:42
  songs.
• 5:43
  And
• 5:43
  I'm
• 5:43
  loving
• 5:43
  that.
• 5:44
  I
• 5:44
  mean,
• 5:44
  I'm
• 5:44
  going
• 5:45
  to
• 5:45
  his
• 5:45
  concert
• 5:45
  in
• 5:45
  Raleigh
• 5:46
  this
• 5:46
  summer,
• 5:46
  so
• 5:47
  I
• 5:47
  can't.
• 5:47
  It's
• 5:47
  actually
• 5:47
  the
• 5:48
  same
• 5:48
  weekend
• 5:48
  as
• 5:48
  galaxycon,
• 5:49
  so
• 5:49
  I'm
• 5:50
  gonna
• 5:50
  have
• 5:50
  a
• 5:50
  packed
• 5:50
  weekend
• 5:51
  of
• 5:51
  both,
• 5:52
  you
• 5:52
  know,
• 5:52
  super
• 5:52
  geek
• 5:53
  culture
• 5:54
  and
• 5:54
  then
• 5:54
  a
• 5:55
  big
• 5:55
  rousing
• 5:55
  concert.
• 5:56
  So
• 5:57
  very
• 5:57
  excited
• 5:57
  for
• 5:57
  that.
• 5:58
  Nice.
• 5:58
  Yeah,
• 5:58
  it's
• 5:59
  really
• 5:59
  cool
• 5:59
  to
• 5:59
  geek
• 5:59
  out
• 5:59
  on
• 6:00
  music.
• 6:01
  Yeah,
• 6:01
  I'll
• 6:01
  share.
• 6:02
  I
• 6:02
  just
• 6:02
  got
• 6:02
  back
• 6:02
  from
• 6:02
  a
• 6:02
  faith
• 6:03
  and
• 6:03
  science
• 6:03
  conference
• 6:03
  up
• 6:04
  in
• 6:04
  Chicago.
• 6:05
  Was
• 6:05
  able
• 6:05
  to
• 6:05
  talk
• 6:05
  about
• 6:06
  the
• 6:06
  other
• 6:07
  podcasts
• 6:07
  I
• 6:07
  do
• 6:07
  with
• 6:08
  Faith
• 6:08
  and
• 6:08
  Science
• 6:08
  your
• 6:09
  matter
• 6:09
  matter.
• 6:09
  So
• 6:09
  it's
• 6:09
  really
• 6:09
  cool
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  share
• 6:10
  that
• 6:10
  with
• 6:11
  folks
• 6:11
  and
• 6:11
  geek
• 6:12
  out
• 6:12
  on
• 6:13
  the
• 6:13
  intersection
• 6:14
  of
• 6:14
  faith
• 6:14
  and
• 6:14
  science.
• 6:14
  And
• 6:15
  how
• 6:15
  they
• 6:15
  can
• 6:15
  work
• 6:15
  together.
• 6:17
  And
• 6:17
  of
• 6:17
  course,
• 6:18
  like,
• 6:18
  my
• 6:18
  love
• 6:18
  of
• 6:18
  Star
• 6:19
  wars
• 6:19
  is
• 6:19
  really
• 6:19
  what
• 6:20
  got
• 6:20
  me
• 6:20
  thinking
• 6:20
  about
• 6:21
  speculative
• 6:21
  fiction
• 6:22
  and
• 6:22
  science
• 6:22
  and
• 6:22
  cosmology
• 6:23
  and
• 6:23
  planets
• 6:23
  and
• 6:24
  aliens
• 6:24
  and
• 6:24
  all
• 6:24
  that
• 6:24
  stuff.
• 6:25
  So
• 6:25
  they
• 6:25
  all
• 6:26
  interact
• 6:26
  with
• 6:27
  each
• 6:27
  other.
• 6:27
  And
• 6:27
  I'll
• 6:28
  agree
• 6:28
  with
• 6:28
  John,
• 6:28
  like,
• 6:28
  I
• 6:29
  this
• 6:29
  Darth
• 6:29
  Maul
• 6:30
  animated
• 6:30
  series,
• 6:31
  Shadowlord,
• 6:31
  is
• 6:31
  absolutely
• 6:32
  fantastic.
• 6:33
  The
• 6:33
  animation,
• 6:33
  you
• 6:34
  just
• 6:34
  can't
• 6:34
  get
• 6:34
  better.
• 6:34
  It's
• 6:35
  just
• 6:35
  absolutely
• 6:36
  incredible.
• 6:37
  And
• 6:38
  I
• 6:38
  like
• 6:38
  it
• 6:38
  that
• 6:39
  the
• 6:39
  finale
• 6:40
  for
• 6:40
  season
• 6:40
  one
• 6:40
  is
• 6:40
  happening
• 6:41
  on
• 6:41
  May
• 6:41
  4th.
• 6:41
  We
• 6:41
  get
• 6:42
  two
• 6:42
  episodes
• 6:42
  today
• 6:42
  and
• 6:43
  I
• 6:43
  can't
• 6:43
  wait
• 6:43
  to
• 6:43
  watch
• 6:44
  a
• 6:44
  little
• 6:44
  bit
• 6:44
  later
• 6:44
  on
• 6:44
  and
• 6:45
  see
• 6:45
  how
• 6:45
  they
• 6:45
  wrap
• 6:45
  up
• 6:45
  this
• 6:46
  season
• 6:46
  and
• 6:46
  hope
• 6:47
  there's
• 6:47
  a
• 6:47
  little
• 6:47
  cameo
• 6:48
  by
• 6:48
  Vader
• 6:49
  or
• 6:49
  Palpatine
• 6:49
  or
• 6:50
  something,
• 6:50
  I
• 6:50
  don't
• 6:50
  know.
• 6:52
  And
• 6:52
  I
• 6:52
  like
• 6:52
  the
• 6:52
  characters.
• 6:54
  Who
• 6:55
  is
• 6:55
  the
• 6:56
  Jedi
• 6:56
  Padawan?
• 6:57
  Devin,
• 6:58
  that's
• 6:58
  her
• 6:58
  name.
• 6:59
  That
• 6:59
  is
• 7:00
  really
• 7:00
  an
• 7:00
  interesting
• 7:01
  character
• 7:01
  and
• 7:02
  I'm
• 7:02
  looking
• 7:02
  forward
• 7:02
  to
• 7:02
  see
• 7:03
  what,
• 7:03
  where
• 7:03
  they
• 7:04
  take
• 7:04
  her
• 7:04
  or
• 7:04
  where
• 7:04
  she
• 7:04
  might
• 7:04
  show
• 7:05
  up
• 7:05
  later
• 7:05
  on
• 7:05
  down
• 7:05
  the
• 7:05
  road.
• 7:06
  So,
• 7:06
  yeah,
• 7:07
  good,
• 7:07
  good
• 7:08
  stuff.
• 7:09
  Yeah.
• 7:10
  Thank
• 7:10
  you
• 7:11
  all
• 7:11
  listeners.
• 7:12
  And
• 7:13
  like
• 7:13
  we
• 7:13
  say
• 7:13
  on
• 7:13
  here,
• 7:14
  we're
• 7:14
  not
• 7:14
  geeking
• 7:15
  out
• 7:15
  for
• 7:15
  you,
• 7:15
  we're
• 7:15
  geeking
• 7:16
  out
• 7:16
  with
• 7:16
  you.

• 7:25
  let
• 7:26
  us

  know.
• 7:26
  We'll
• 7:26
  be
• 7:26
  happy
• 7:26
  to
• 7:27
  do
• 7:27
  an
• 7:27
  episode
• 7:27
  about
• 7:27
  it.
• 7:27
  There's
• 7:28
  no
• 7:28
  shortage
• 7:28
  of

  things
• 7:28
  to
• 7:28
  geek
• 7:29
  out
• 7:29
  for
• 7:30
  sure.
• 7:30
  And
• 7:30
  we
• 7:30
  want
• 7:31
  to
• 7:31
  ask
• 7:31
  that
• 7:31
  you
• 7:32
  rate
• 7:32
  and
• 7:33
  review

• 7:35
  It
• 7:35
  really
• 7:35
  help
• 7:35
  helps
• 7:35
  us
• 7:35
  get
• 7:35
  noticeable
• 7:36
  out
• 7:36
  there
• 7:36
  and
• 7:37
  spread
• 7:37
  the
• 7:37

• 7:38
  out
• 7:38
  to
• 7:38
  friends
• 7:39
  and
• 7:40
  enemies
• 7:41
  alike.
• 7:41
  We're
• 7:41
  just
• 7:42
  gonna,
• 7:42
  you
• 7:42
  know,
• 7:42
  we're
• 7:42
  not
• 7:42

• 7:45
  towards

  anyone,

• 7:49
  we

  want

  to
• 7:49
  thank

  one
• 7:50
  of
• 7:50
  our
• 7:50
  financial
• 7:50
  supporters
• 7:51
  we're
• 7:51
  gonna
• 7:51
  thank
• 7:51
  today,
• 7:52
  Gunner
• 7:53
  Burgum.
• 7:53
  I
• 7:53
  think
• 7:53
  that's
• 7:54
  how
• 7:54
  you
• 7:54
  say
• 7:54
  it.
• 7:54
  And
• 7:55
  so
• 7:55
  Gunner,
• 7:55
  thanks
• 7:56
  for
• 7:56
  your
• 7:56
  support.
• 7:56
  Thanks
• 7:57
  for
• 7:57
  backing
• 7:58
  the
• 7:58
  show.
• 7:58
  Really
• 7:58
  helps
• 7:59
  us
• 7:59
  keep
• 7:59
  things
• 7:59
  moving
• 8:00
  and
• 8:00
  we
• 8:01
  have
• 8:01
  to
• 8:01
  do
• 8:01
  keep
• 8:02
  this
• 8:04
  geekology
• 8:04
  train
• 8:05
  moving
• 8:05
  forward.
• 8:06
  Like
• 8:06
  you're
• 8:07
  being
• 8:07
  chased
• 8:07
  by
• 8:08
  an
• 8:09
  inquisitor
• 8:09
  or,
• 8:10
  or
• 8:11
  Sith
• 8:12
  Lord.
• 8:12
  You
• 8:12
  know,
• 8:12
  if
• 8:13
  you're
• 8:13
  on
• 8:13
  a
• 8:13
  train,
• 8:13
  just
• 8:13
  go
• 8:14
  on
• 8:14
  being
• 8:14
  chased.
• 8:14
  We're
• 8:15
  going
• 8:15
  to
• 8:15
  keep
• 8:15
  it
• 8:15
  moving
• 8:15
  forward.
• 8:16
  And
• 8:17
  we
• 8:17
  also
• 8:17
  want
• 8:18
  to
• 8:18
  remind
• 8:18
  you
• 8:18
  that
• 8:18
  if
• 8:19
  you
• 8:19
  support
• 8:19
  the
• 8:20
  show,
• 8:20
  you
• 8:20
  too
• 8:21
  can
• 8:21
  get
• 8:21
  a
• 8:21
  shout
• 8:21
  out
• 8:22
  out
• 8:22
  there.
• 8:22
  Let
• 8:23
  us
• 8:23
  know.
• 8:24
  And
• 8:24
  with
• 8:25
  this
• 8:25
  series,
• 8:25
  your
• 8:26
  faith,
• 8:26
  the
• 8:26
  faces
• 8:27
  behind
• 8:27
  us
• 8:27
  really
• 8:28
  diving
• 8:28
  in.
• 8:28
  We
• 8:28
  know
• 8:28
  that
• 8:29
  none
• 8:29
  of
• 8:29
  us
• 8:29

  alone.
• 8:30
  None
• 8:30
  of
• 8:30
  us
• 8:30
  are
• 8:30
  are
• 8:31
  an
• 8:31
  isolated
• 8:32
  island.
• 8:33
  We
• 8:33
  are.
• 8:33
  We'
• 8:34
  journey
• 8:34
  together.
• 8:35
  We're
• 8:35
  part
• 8:35
  of
• 8:35
  an
• 8:37
  integrated
• 8:38
  community
• 8:38
  and
• 8:39
  friendship.
• 8:39
  And
• 8:40
  so
• 8:40
  we
• 8:40
  know
• 8:40
  that
• 8:41
  these
• 8:41
  big
• 8:41
  IPs
• 8:42
  and
• 8:42
  characters
• 8:42
  that
• 8:42
  we
• 8:42
  love,
• 8:44
  there
• 8:44
  are
• 8:44
  faces
• 8:44
  behind
• 8:45
  them
• 8:45
  that
• 8:45
  shape
• 8:46
  their
• 8:46
  story.
• 8:46
  And
• 8:47
  so
• 8:47
  that's
• 8:47
  what
• 8:47
  this
• 8:47
  series
• 8:47
  is
• 8:48
  all
• 8:48
  about.
• 8:48
  You
• 8:48
  can
• 8:48
  go
• 8:48
  in
• 8:49
  the
• 8:49
  playlist
• 8:49
  and
• 8:49
  find
• 8:50
  all
• 8:50
  the
• 8:50
  episodes
• 8:50
  we've
• 8:51
  done
• 8:51
  with
• 8:51
  the
• 8:51
  faces
• 8:51
  behind
• 8:52
  us.
• 8:52
  And
• 8:52
  so
• 8:53
  you
• 8:53
  can
• 8:53
  find
• 8:53
  that
• 8:53
  in
• 8:53
  the
• 8:53
  playlist.
• 8:54
  And
• 8:54
  so
• 8:54
  let's
• 8:55
  get
• 8:55
  into
• 8:55
  this
• 8:56
  episode.
• 8:56
  Let's
• 8:57
  talk
• 8:57
  about
• 8:58
  Star
• 8:58
  Wars.
• 8:58
  Let's
• 8:59
  talk
• 8:59
  about
• 9:02
  what
• 9:02
  was
• 9:02
  our
• 9:02
  introduction.
• 9:03
  I
• 9:03
  guess
• 9:04
  it's
• 9:04
  a
• 9:04
  little
• 9:04
  different.
• 9:04
  We've
• 9:05
  talked.
• 9:06
  Kevin
• 9:06
  and
• 9:06
  John
• 9:06
  and
• 9:07
  I
• 9:07
  have
• 9:07
  shared
• 9:07
  before
• 9:08
  our
• 9:08
  history
• 9:08
  with
• 9:08
  Star
• 9:09
  wars
• 9:09
  and
• 9:09
  what
• 9:09
  got
• 9:10
  us
• 9:10
  into
• 9:10
  Star
• 9:10
  Wars.
• 9:10
  But
• 9:10
  in
• 9:11
  terms
• 9:11
  of
• 9:11
  this
• 9:12
  Jedi,
• 9:12
  this
• 9:12
  elusive
• 9:13
  group
• 9:13
  of
• 9:14
  leaders
• 9:15
  and
• 9:15
  individuals
• 9:15
  who
• 9:16
  come
• 9:16
  together
• 9:16
  to
• 9:16
  make
• 9:17
  big
• 9:17
  decisions
• 9:17
  about
• 9:18
  this
• 9:18
  entire
• 9:19
  galaxy,
• 9:20
  far,
• 9:20
  far
• 9:20
  away,
• 9:22
  what
• 9:22
  is
• 9:22
  your
• 9:23
  first
• 9:24
  interaction
• 9:24
  with
• 9:25
  an
• 9:25
  experience
• 9:26
  with
• 9:26
  the
• 9:26
  Jedi
• 9:27
  Council?
• 9:28
  Like
• 9:28
  the
• 9:28
  Council
• 9:28
  themselves?
• 9:30
  Yeah,
• 9:31
  Kevin,
• 9:31
  go
• 9:31
  for
• 9:31
  it.
• 9:32
  Yeah.
• 9:33
  So,
• 9:33
  I
• 9:33
  mean,
• 9:33
  I'm
• 9:33
  a
• 9:33
  millennial
• 9:35
  and
• 9:35
  very
• 9:35
  much
• 9:35
  a
• 9:36
  prequel,
• 9:36
  kid.
• 9:37
  So
• 9:37
  Phantom
• 9:37
  Menace
• 9:38
  was
• 9:38
  the
• 9:38
  first
• 9:39
  Star
• 9:39
  wars
• 9:39
  movie
• 9:40
  I
• 9:40
  saw
• 9:40
  in
• 9:40
  theaters.
• 9:41
  Had
• 9:41
  seen
• 9:41
  the
• 9:42
  original
• 9:42
  trilogy
• 9:42
  at
• 9:42
  that
• 9:43
  point
• 9:43
  on
• 9:43
  vhs,
• 9:44
  but,
• 9:44
  you
• 9:45
  know,
• 9:45
  that
• 9:45
  theatrical
• 9:46
  experience
• 9:47
  of
• 9:48
  watching
• 9:48
  Duel
• 9:48
  of
• 9:48
  the
• 9:49
  Fates
• 9:49
  and
• 9:50
  Darth
• 9:50
  Maul
• 9:50
  and
• 9:51
  Jar
• 9:51
  Jar.
• 9:51
  I
• 9:52
  know
• 9:52
  a
• 9:52
  lot
• 9:52
  of
• 9:53
  original,
• 9:53
  challenging
• 9:54
  adults
• 9:55
  hate
• 9:55
  characters
• 9:55
  like
• 9:55
  that,
• 9:56
  but,
• 9:56
  I
• 9:56
  mean,
• 9:56
  I
• 9:56
  was
• 9:57
  always
• 9:57
  a
• 9:57
  fan.
• 9:58
  I
• 9:58
  loved
• 9:58
  those
• 9:59
  movies
• 9:59
  growing
• 9:59
  up.
• 9:59
  And
• 10:00
  so
• 10:00
  seeing
• 10:01
  the
• 10:01
  Jedi
• 10:01
  Council
• 10:02
  that
• 10:02
  was
• 10:03
  sort
• 10:03
  of
• 10:03
  alluded
• 10:04
  to
• 10:04
  in
• 10:04
  the
• 10:04
  original
• 10:04
  trilogy,
• 10:05
  presented
• 10:06
  now
• 10:07
  in
• 10:08
  at
• 10:08
  the
• 10:08
  height
• 10:08
  of
• 10:09
  the
• 10:09
  Republic
• 10:10
  and,
• 10:10
  you
• 10:11
  know,
• 10:11
  getting
• 10:11
  more
• 10:12
  of
• 10:12
  this
• 10:13
  world
• 10:13
  expanded
• 10:15
  with
• 10:15
  the
• 10:15
  prequel
• 10:15
  trilogy,
• 10:17
  that
• 10:17
  was
• 10:17
  really
• 10:17
  fascinating
• 10:18
  to
• 10:18
  me.
• 10:18
  And.
• 10:19
  And
• 10:20
  also,
• 10:20
  you
• 10:21
  know,
• 10:21
  growing
• 10:21
  up
• 10:21
  at
• 10:21
  that
• 10:22
  time,
• 10:22
  the
• 10:22
  merchandise
• 10:23
  for
• 10:24
  the
• 10:24
  prequels
• 10:25
  was
• 10:25
  all
• 10:25
  over
• 10:26
  the
• 10:26
  place,
• 10:26
  and
• 10:27
  I
• 10:27
  had
• 10:27
  every
• 10:28
  action
• 10:28
  figure
• 10:29
  you
• 10:29
  could
• 10:29
  imagine
• 10:31
  going
• 10:31
  from,
• 10:31
  of
• 10:32
  course,
• 10:32
  you
• 10:32
  know,
• 10:32
  the
• 10:32
  big
• 10:32
  characters
• 10:33
  like
• 10:33
  Obi
• 10:34
  Wan,
• 10:34
  Anakin,
• 10:34
  and
• 10:34
  Padme,
• 10:35
  down
• 10:35
  to
• 10:36
  individual
• 10:36
  members
• 10:37
  of
• 10:37
  the
• 10:37
  Jedi
• 10:37
  Council
• 10:38
  who
• 10:38
  weren't
• 10:38
  really
• 10:39
  even
• 10:39
  named
• 10:39
  in
• 10:39
  the
• 10:39
  movies.
• 10:40
  And
• 10:41
  so
• 10:41
  I
• 10:41
  love
• 10:41
  following
• 10:42
  that.
• 10:42
  And
• 10:42
  then,
• 10:42
  you
• 10:43
  know,
• 10:43
  the.
• 10:43
  Even
• 10:44
  before
• 10:44
  the
• 10:44
  Filoni
• 10:45
  Clone
• 10:45
  wars
• 10:45
  animated
• 10:46
  series,
• 10:46
  there
• 10:46
  was
• 10:47
  the.
• 10:48
  The.
• 10:49
  The
• 10:49
  2D
• 10:49
  animation
• 10:50
  one
• 10:51
  from
• 10:51
  the
• 10:51
  Samurai
• 10:52
  Jack
• 10:52
  creator.
• 10:53
  That
• 10:54
  one
• 10:54
  I
• 10:54
  was
• 10:54
  watching
• 10:54
  week
• 10:54
  to
• 10:55
  week
• 10:55
  in
• 10:55
  between
• 10:56
  the
• 10:56
  release
• 10:56
  of
• 10:57
  episodes
• 10:57
  two
• 10:57
  and
• 10:57
  three.
• 10:58
  But,
• 10:59
  yeah,
• 10:59
  so
• 10:59
  Phantom
• 10:59
  Menace
• 11:00
  was
• 11:00
  my
• 11:00
  introduction
• 11:01
  to
• 11:02
  the
• 11:02
  Jedi
• 11:03
  Council
• 11:03
  as
• 11:04
  a
• 11:04
  whole,
• 11:04
  and,
• 11:05
  you
• 11:05
  know,
• 11:05
  what
• 11:05
  it
• 11:06
  meant
• 11:06
  for
• 11:08
  that
• 11:08
  period.
• 11:09
  And
• 11:09
  then,
• 11:10
  of
• 11:10
  course,
• 11:10
  you
• 11:10
  know,
• 11:10
  you
• 11:10
  see
• 11:11
  how
• 11:11
  it
• 11:11
  falls
• 11:12
  and
• 11:12
  how
• 11:12
  once
• 11:13
  Anakin
• 11:13
  turns
• 11:13
  to
• 11:14
  the
• 11:14
  dark
• 11:14
  side
• 11:14
  and
• 11:15
  everything
• 11:15
  crumbles
• 11:16
  in
• 11:17
  Revenge
• 11:17
  of
• 11:17
  the
• 11:17
  Sith.
• 11:19
  Yeah,
• 11:19
  yeah,
• 11:19
  yeah,
• 11:20
  that's
• 11:20
  good.
• 11:21
  John,
• 11:21
  how
• 11:21
  about
• 11:21
  you?
• 11:21
  What's
• 11:22
  your
• 11:22
  Introduction
• 11:23
  or
• 11:23
  experience
• 11:24
  with,
• 11:24
  with
• 11:25
  the
• 11:25
  Jedi
• 11:25
  Council.
• 11:26
  With
• 11:27
  the
• 11:27
  Jedi
• 11:27
  Council.
• 11:28
  This
• 11:29
  might
• 11:29
  be
• 11:29
  even
• 11:30
  as
• 11:30
  a
• 11:31
  legend
• 11:31
  canon
• 11:32
  throwback.
• 11:32
  But
• 11:33
  I
• 11:34
  used
• 11:34
  to
• 11:34
  read
• 11:34
  a
• 11:34
  lot
• 11:34
  of
• 11:34
  the
• 11:34
  Legends
• 11:35
  novels
• 11:35
  specifically
• 11:36
  like
• 11:36
  Young
• 11:37
  Jedi
• 11:37
  Knights
• 11:38
  and
• 11:39
  the
• 11:40
  older
• 11:40
  series
• 11:41
  by
• 11:41
  Kevin
• 11:41
  J.
• 11:41
  Anderson
• 11:42
  trying
• 11:42
  to
• 11:42
  marry
• 11:42
  like
• 11:42
  the,
• 11:43
  the
• 11:43
  Thrawn
• 11:43
  trilogy
• 11:44
  and
• 11:44
  things
• 11:44
  like
• 11:44
  that.
• 11:45
  But
• 11:46
  they
• 11:46
  made
• 11:47
  mention
• 11:47
  of
• 11:48
  like
• 11:48
  the
• 11:48
  Jedi
• 11:49
  Council
• 11:49
  or
• 11:49
  versions
• 11:51
  similar
• 11:51
  to
• 11:51
  it
• 11:52
  where
• 11:52
  with
• 11:52
  Luke's
• 11:53
  news
• 11:53
  with
• 11:53
  the
• 11:54
  school
• 11:54
  and
• 11:55
  like
• 11:55
  the
• 11:56
  Jedi
• 11:56
  Academy
• 11:56
  that
• 11:57
  he
• 11:57
  had.
• 11:58
  But
• 11:58
  nice,
• 11:59
  nice.
• 12:00
  Kevin
• 12:00
  pretty
• 12:01
  much
• 12:01
  said,
• 12:01
  you
• 12:02
  know,
• 12:02
  I
• 12:02
  agree
• 12:02
  with
• 12:02
  everything
• 12:02
  he
• 12:03
  said,
• 12:03
  like
• 12:03
  episode
• 12:04
  one
• 12:04
  was
• 12:04
  a
• 12:04
  phenomenon
• 12:05
  when
• 12:05
  we
• 12:06
  were
• 12:06
  kids
• 12:06
  and
• 12:06
  that
• 12:06
  was
• 12:06
  definitely
• 12:07
  like
• 12:07
  the
• 12:08
  most
• 12:08
  formal
• 12:08
  introduction
• 12:09
  to
• 12:09
  the
• 12:09
  Jedi
• 12:10
  Council.
• 12:11
  Like
• 12:11
  the.
• 12:12
  From
• 12:12
  the
• 12:12
  Republic
• 12:14
  itself
• 12:14
  versus,
• 12:15
  you
• 12:15
  know,
• 12:15
  some
• 12:15
  legends
• 12:16
  canon
• 12:16
  stuff.
• 12:17
  Yeah,
• 12:18
  yeah.
• 12:18
  So
• 12:18
  you're,
• 12:19
  you
• 12:19
  are
• 12:19
  a
• 12:19
  prequel
• 12:19
  kid.
• 12:20
  And,
• 12:20
  and
• 12:20
  so
• 12:20
  that,
• 12:21
  that's
• 12:21
  what
• 12:21
  kind
• 12:21
  of
• 12:21
  like
• 12:21
  your
• 12:22
  introduction
• 12:22
  to
• 12:22
  Star
• 12:22
  wars
• 12:22
  lead
• 12:23
  into.
• 12:23
  When
• 12:23
  did
• 12:23
  you
• 12:24
  see
• 12:24
  like
• 12:24
  the
• 12:24
  original
• 12:25
  trilogy?
• 12:25
  Did
• 12:25
  you
• 12:25
  follow
• 12:26
  it?
• 12:26
  Did
• 12:26
  you
• 12:26
  see
• 12:26
  original
• 12:27
  trilogy
• 12:27
  after
• 12:27
  you
• 12:27
  kind
• 12:27
  of
• 12:28
  saw
• 12:28
  the
• 12:28
  prequels
• 12:28
  kind
• 12:28
  of
• 12:28
  in
• 12:29
  order
• 12:29
  with
• 12:29
  the
• 12:29
  episodes
• 12:30
  or
• 12:30
  did
• 12:30
  you
• 12:30
  do
• 12:31
  the
• 12:31
  original
• 12:31
  trilogy
• 12:31
  and
• 12:32
  then
• 12:32
  back?
• 12:33
  I
• 12:33
  grew
• 12:33
  up
• 12:33
  on
• 12:33
  the
• 12:34
  special
• 12:34
  edition
• 12:35
  VHS
• 12:35
  with
• 12:35
  my
• 12:36
  dad.
• 12:36
  The.
• 12:37
  We
• 12:38
  still
• 12:38
  got
• 12:38
  them
• 12:38
  actually
• 12:39
  and
• 12:39
  I
• 12:39
  actually
• 12:39
  managed
• 12:40
  to
• 12:40
  snag
• 12:41
  all
• 12:41
  the
• 12:41
  original
• 12:42
  VHS's
• 12:43
  from
• 12:43
  a
• 12:43
  thrift
• 12:44
  shop.
• 12:44
  So
• 12:44
  I've
• 12:44
  got,
• 12:45
  I
• 12:45
  haven't
• 12:45
  watched
• 12:46
  the
• 12:46
  original
• 12:46
  cuts
• 12:46
  yet,
• 12:46
  but
• 12:47
  I've
• 12:47
  got
• 12:47
  them
• 12:47
  on
• 12:47
  vhs.
• 12:48
  I'm
• 12:48
  gonna
• 12:49
  watch
• 12:49
  it
• 12:49
  to
• 12:49
  see
• 12:49
  how
• 12:50
  it
• 12:50
  compares.
• 12:50
  But
• 12:50
  I
• 12:51
  grew
• 12:51
  up
• 12:51
  with
• 12:51
  the
• 12:52
  this,
• 12:52
  you
• 12:53
  know,
• 12:53
  the
• 12:53
  special
• 12:53
  edition.
• 12:54
  And
• 12:55
  then
• 12:55
  my
• 12:55
  dad
• 12:56
  took
• 12:56
  me
• 12:56
  to
• 12:56
  theaters
• 12:57
  to
• 12:57
  see
• 12:57
  all
• 12:57
  the
• 12:58
  prequel
• 12:58
  Star
• 12:58
  wars
• 12:59
  films.
• 12:59
  So
• 12:59
  it
• 12:59
  was
• 13:00
  big.
• 13:00
  Star
• 13:00
  wars
• 13:01
  was
• 13:01
  huge.
• 13:01
  Like
• 13:02
  everybody
• 13:03
  wanted
• 13:03
  to
• 13:03
  have
• 13:04
  the
• 13:04
  double
• 13:04
  bladed
• 13:04
  lightsaber
• 13:05
  and
• 13:05
  we
• 13:05
  were
• 13:06
  all
• 13:06
  running
• 13:06
  around
• 13:07
  with
• 13:08
  just
• 13:09
  having
• 13:09
  a
• 13:10
  blast
• 13:10
  and
• 13:10
  playing
• 13:10
  the
• 13:11
  games.
• 13:11
  Remember
• 13:12
  Jedi
• 13:12
  Power
• 13:12
  Battles
• 13:13
  was
• 13:13
  like
• 13:13
  the
• 13:14
  best
• 13:14
  game
• 13:14
  and
• 13:15
  playing
• 13:15
  it
• 13:15
  now
• 13:15
  was
• 13:16
  really
• 13:16
  difficult.
• 13:17
  But
• 13:17
  back
• 13:17
  in
• 13:17
  the
• 13:17
  day
• 13:17
  that
• 13:18
  was
• 13:18
  the
• 13:18
  jam.
• 13:19
  Nice.
• 13:20
  Nice.
• 13:20
  Yeah.
• 13:20
  I'm
• 13:21
  really
• 13:21
  looking
• 13:21
  Forward
• 13:21
  to
• 13:21
  the
• 13:21
  50th
• 13:22
  anniversary
• 13:22
  of
• 13:23
  the
• 13:23
  original
• 13:23
  movie
• 13:24
  going
• 13:24
  back
• 13:24
  into
• 13:24
  the
• 13:25
  theaters
• 13:25
  as
• 13:25
  the
• 13:26
  original
• 13:26
  cut.
• 13:27
  And
• 13:27
  I'm
• 13:27
  sure
• 13:27
  they'll,
• 13:28
  they'll
• 13:28
  edit
• 13:28
  and
• 13:29
  color
• 13:29
  up
• 13:29
  and
• 13:29
  touch
• 13:29
  it
• 13:29
  up
• 13:30
  to
• 13:30
  where
• 13:30
  they
• 13:30
  need
• 13:30
  to.
• 13:30
  But
• 13:30
  in
• 13:31
  terms
• 13:31
  of
• 13:31
  the
• 13:31
  original
• 13:32
  movie
• 13:32
  that
• 13:33
  came
• 13:33
  out
• 13:33
  in
• 13:33
  the
• 13:33
  theater
• 13:33
  in
• 13:33
  1977,
• 13:34
  I'm
• 13:34
  really
• 13:34
  excited
• 13:35
  about,
• 13:35
  about
• 13:36
  that.
• 13:36
  So
• 13:37
  going
• 13:37
  to
• 13:37
  be
• 13:37
  also
• 13:38
  a
• 13:38
  fun,.
• 13:39
  Fun
• 13:39
  anecdote
• 13:39
  is
• 13:40
  the
• 13:40
  toy
• 13:40
  lightsabers
• 13:41
  I
• 13:41
  got
• 13:41
  when
• 13:42
  Phantom
• 13:42
  Menace
• 13:42
  came
• 13:43
  out.
• 13:43
  I
• 13:43
  still
• 13:43
  have
• 13:43
  them
• 13:44
  and
• 13:44
  now
• 13:44
  my
• 13:44
  niece
• 13:44
  and
• 13:44
  nephews
• 13:45
  play
• 13:45
  with
• 13:45
  those.
• 13:45
  So
• 13:46
  it's
• 13:46
  a,
• 13:46
  it's,
• 13:47
  it's
• 13:47
  like
• 13:47
  a
• 13:47
  passing
• 13:47
  of
• 13:47
  the
• 13:48
  torch
• 13:48
  there.
• 13:48
  It's
• 13:48
  great.
• 14:40
  Nice.
• 14:40
  Nice.
• 14:41
  Yeah.
• 14:42
  For
• 14:42
  me,
• 14:42
  for
• 14:42
  me,
• 14:42
  my.
• 14:43
  My
• 14:43
  history
• 14:43
  with
• 14:43
  this
• 14:44
  is
• 14:44
  that,
• 14:44
  like,
• 14:44
  I'm
• 14:45
  an
• 14:45
  original
• 14:45
  trilogy
• 14:46
  kid,
• 14:46
  and
• 14:47
  that's
• 14:47
  the
• 14:47
  movies
• 14:48
  I
• 14:48
  grew
• 14:48
  up
• 14:48
  on
• 14:49
  and
• 14:49
  geeked
• 14:49
  out
• 14:49
  on
• 14:50
  and
• 14:50
  sparked
• 14:51
  the.
• 14:51
  The
• 14:51
  geek
• 14:52
  within
• 14:52
  me.
• 14:52
  And,
• 14:53
  you
• 14:53
  know,
• 14:53
  is
• 14:54
  that
• 14:54
  that
• 14:54
  phrase
• 14:55
  and
• 14:55
  kind
• 14:55
  of
• 14:55
  throw
• 14:55
  away
• 14:56
  comment
• 14:56
  or
• 14:56
  kind
• 14:56
  of
• 14:57
  a
• 14:57
  mystery
• 14:57
  that
• 14:57
  Obi
• 14:57
  Wan
• 14:58
  was
• 14:58
  talking
• 14:58
  to
• 14:58
  Luke
• 14:58
  and
• 14:58
  he.
• 14:59
  He's
• 14:59
  like,
• 14:59
  he
• 14:59
  talks
• 14:59
  about
• 14:59
  the
• 15:00
  Clone
• 15:00
  wars.
• 15:00
  He
• 15:01
  talks
• 15:01
  about,
• 15:01
  oh,
• 15:01
  your
• 15:01
  father
• 15:02
  was
• 15:02
  a
• 15:02
  great
• 15:02
  pilot
• 15:03
  in
• 15:03
  the
• 15:03
  Clone
• 15:03
  Wars.
• 15:03
  And
• 15:04
  it's
• 15:05
  just
• 15:06
  a
• 15:06
  couple
• 15:06
  of
• 15:06
  sentences
• 15:07
  that
• 15:07
  show
• 15:08
  you
• 15:09
  or
• 15:09
  share
• 15:10
  with
• 15:10
  you
• 15:10
  how
• 15:10
  big
• 15:10
  this
• 15:11
  universe
• 15:11
  is.
• 15:11
  There's
• 15:12
  more
• 15:12
  story
• 15:12
  there.
• 15:12
  You're
• 15:13
  starting
• 15:13
  in
• 15:13
  the
• 15:13
  middle
• 15:13
  of
• 15:14
  this
• 15:14
  grand
• 15:15
  saga.
• 15:15
  And
• 15:16
  so
• 15:16
  as
• 15:16
  kids,
• 15:17
  when
• 15:17
  we
• 15:17
  were
• 15:18
  getting
• 15:18
  the
• 15:18
  action
• 15:18
  figures
• 15:19
  and
• 15:19
  thinking
• 15:19
  about
• 15:19
  the
• 15:19
  movies
• 15:20
  that
• 15:20
  are
• 15:20
  coming
• 15:20
  out,
• 15:20
  we
• 15:21
  were
• 15:21
  wondering
• 15:21
  what
• 15:21
  it
• 15:22
  was
• 15:22
  like
• 15:23
  before
• 15:23
  Darth
• 15:23
  Vader,
• 15:24
  before
• 15:24
  Luke
• 15:24
  Skywalker,
• 15:25
  the
• 15:25
  Clone
• 15:25
  Wars.
• 15:26
  What
• 15:26
  would
• 15:26
  a
• 15:26
  young
• 15:26
  Obi
• 15:27
  Wan
• 15:27
  even
• 15:27
  look
• 15:28
  like
• 15:28
  or
• 15:28
  be
• 15:28
  like
• 15:29
  who
• 15:29
  fought
• 15:30
  in
• 15:30
  those
• 15:30
  wars?
• 15:30
  And
• 15:31
  just
• 15:31
  imagining
• 15:31
  it.
• 15:32
  So
• 15:32
  we
• 15:32
  had
• 15:32
  a
• 15:32
  lot
• 15:32
  of
• 15:32
  head
• 15:32
  canon
• 15:33
  with
• 15:33
  that,
• 15:33
  which
• 15:33
  might
• 15:33
  be
• 15:34
  part
• 15:34
  of
• 15:34
  the
• 15:35
  original
• 15:35
  trilogy.
• 15:36
  Generation
• 15:36
  might
• 15:37
  have
• 15:37
  a
• 15:37
  problem
• 15:37
  with
• 15:37
  the
• 15:37
  original
• 15:38
  or
• 15:38
  with
• 15:38
  the
• 15:39
  prequels
• 15:39
  because
• 15:39
  we
• 15:39
  just
• 15:39
  build
• 15:40
  up
• 15:40
  so
• 15:40
  much
• 15:40
  story
• 15:40
  in
• 15:41
  our
• 15:41
  own
• 15:41
  heads
• 15:42
  that
• 15:42
  we
• 15:42
  were
• 15:42
  like,
• 15:43
  oh,
• 15:43
  they
• 15:43
  didn't
• 15:43
  tell
• 15:43
  our
• 15:43
  story.
• 15:44
  I'm
• 15:44
  upset
• 15:45
  or
• 15:45
  disappointed.
• 15:45
  So,
• 15:46
  man,
• 15:46
  that's
• 15:46
  a
• 15:46
  whole
• 15:47
  nother
• 15:47
  topic
• 15:47
  that
• 15:48
  we
• 15:48
  could
• 15:48
  get
• 15:48
  into.
• 15:48
  But
• 15:49
  just
• 15:49
  that
• 15:49
  kind
• 15:49
  of
• 15:49
  allure
• 15:50
  and
• 15:50
  mystery
• 15:51
  of
• 15:52
  the
• 15:52
  grand
• 15:53
  wide
• 15:54
  universe
• 15:54
  that
• 15:54
  Star
• 15:55
  wars
• 15:55
  is.
• 15:55
  And
• 15:55
  then
• 15:55
  I
• 15:56
  remember
• 15:56
  seeing
• 15:56
  the
• 15:56
  prequel
• 15:56
  and
• 15:57
  I
• 15:57
  rewatched
• 15:59
  Phantom
• 15:59
  Menace
• 15:59
  just
• 15:59
  to
• 16:00
  kind
• 16:00
  of
• 16:00
  see
• 16:00
  when
• 16:01
  the
• 16:01
  Jedi
• 16:02
  Council
• 16:02
  shows
• 16:02
  up.
• 16:02
  And
• 16:03
  they
• 16:03
  don't
• 16:03
  show
• 16:03
  up
• 16:03
  to
• 16:03
  like
• 16:03
  an
• 16:04
  hour
• 16:04
  and
• 16:04
  a
• 16:04
  half
• 16:04
  hour,
• 16:04
  24
• 16:05
  minutes
• 16:05
  into
• 16:05
  the
• 16:06
  first
• 16:06
  movie.
• 16:06
  Yeah,
• 16:06
  you
• 16:07
  hear
• 16:07
  him
• 16:07
  talk
• 16:07
  about
• 16:07
  it
• 16:07
  here,
• 16:08
  Obi
• 16:08
  Wan
• 16:08
  talk
• 16:09
  to
• 16:09
  Qui
• 16:09
  Gon
• 16:09
  about
• 16:10
  like,
• 16:10
  you
• 16:10
  would
• 16:10
  be
• 16:10
  on
• 16:10
  the
• 16:10
  Council
• 16:11
  if
• 16:11
  you
• 16:11
  just,
• 16:11
  you
• 16:12
  know,
• 16:12
  follow
• 16:13
  the
• 16:13
  rules
• 16:13
  more
• 16:13
  different
• 16:14
  kind
• 16:14
  of
• 16:14
  stuff.
• 16:14
  Oh,
• 16:15
  no,
• 16:15
  they're
• 16:15
  going
• 16:15
  to
• 16:15
  be
• 16:15
  unhappy
• 16:16
  with
• 16:16
  you.
• 16:16
  So
• 16:16
  even
• 16:16
  in
• 16:17
  the
• 16:17
  movie
• 16:17
  it
• 16:17
  builds
• 16:18
  up.
• 16:18
  You
• 16:18
  finally
• 16:19
  get
• 16:19
  to
• 16:19
  see
• 16:19
  them
• 16:19
  in
• 16:19
  their
• 16:20
  hightower
• 16:20
  on
• 16:20
  Coruscant,
• 16:21
  and
• 16:21
  they're
• 16:21
  sitting
• 16:21
  in
• 16:22
  the.
• 16:22
  In
• 16:22
  a
• 16:22
  like
• 16:23
  Knights
• 16:23
  of
• 16:23
  the
• 16:23
  Round
• 16:23
  Table
• 16:24
  and
• 16:24
  they're
• 16:24
  cutting
• 16:25
  eyes
• 16:25
  at
• 16:25
  each
• 16:25
  other
• 16:26
  and
• 16:26
  sitting
• 16:27
  there
• 16:27
  all
• 16:27
  stoic
• 16:27
  with
• 16:28
  their
• 16:28
  hands
• 16:28
  folded
• 16:28
  in
• 16:29
  prayer
• 16:29
  or
• 16:29
  whatever.
• 16:30
  And
• 16:30
  then
• 16:30
  they
• 16:30
  bring
• 16:30
  poor
• 16:31
  Anakin
• 16:31
  into
• 16:32
  them
• 16:32
  and
• 16:32
  they
• 16:33
  kind
• 16:33
  of.
• 16:34
  So
• 16:34
  they're
• 16:34
  so
• 16:34
  skeptical
• 16:35
  and.
• 16:35
  And
• 16:36
  Qui
• 16:36
  Gon
• 16:37
  is
• 16:37
  pushing
• 16:37
  back
• 16:37
  against
• 16:38
  this
• 16:38
  council.
• 16:38
  So
• 16:38
  I.
• 16:39
  That.
• 16:39
  That
• 16:40
  is
• 16:40
  pretty
• 16:41
  cool.
• 16:41
  You
• 16:41
  have
• 16:41
  this
• 16:41
  kind
• 16:41
  of
• 16:42
  institutional
• 16:43
  religion
• 16:43
  of
• 16:44
  Jedi
• 16:44
  and
• 16:44
  then
• 16:44
  you
• 16:45
  have
• 16:45
  the
• 16:45
  mysterious
• 16:45
  force
• 16:46
  that
• 16:47
  everyone
• 16:47
  hopefully
• 16:48
  can
• 16:48
  tap
• 16:48
  into
• 16:48
  and
• 16:49
  the
• 16:49
  Jedis
• 16:49
  are
• 16:50
  keen
• 16:50
  on.
• 16:50
  So
• 16:50
  you
• 16:50
  do
• 16:51
  have
• 16:51
  the
• 16:51
  religion,
• 16:51
  you
• 16:52
  have
• 16:52
  the,
• 16:53
  the
• 16:53
  High
• 16:53
  Council.
• 16:54
  They
• 16:54
  are
• 16:54
  the
• 16:54
  rule
• 16:55
  keepers
• 16:55
  and
• 16:55
  oversee
• 16:56
  things.
• 16:56
  And
• 16:57
  then
• 16:57
  you
• 16:57
  have
• 16:58
  the
• 16:58
  Jedi
• 16:58
  are
• 16:58
  putting
• 16:59
  in
• 16:59
  practice
• 16:59
  out
• 16:59
  there
• 16:59
  in
• 17:00
  the
• 17:00
  world.
• 17:00
  And
• 17:00
  it's
• 17:01
  very
• 17:01
  analogous
• 17:01
  to
• 17:01
  what
• 17:01
  we're
• 17:02
  in
• 17:02
  our
• 17:02
  world.
• 17:03
  Like
• 17:03
  we
• 17:03
  have
• 17:03
  a
• 17:04
  board
• 17:04
  of
• 17:04
  directors
• 17:04
  for
• 17:05
  any
• 17:05
  kind
• 17:05
  of
• 17:05
  institution
• 17:06
  or
• 17:06
  non
• 17:06
  for
• 17:06
  profit
• 17:07
  or
• 17:08
  big
• 17:09
  company.
• 17:10
  You
• 17:10
  have
• 17:10
  board
• 17:10
  of
• 17:11
  directors.
• 17:11
  My
• 17:11
  own
• 17:11
  church
• 17:12
  has
• 17:12
  a
• 17:12
  church
• 17:12
  council,
• 17:13
  a
• 17:13
  board
• 17:13
  of
• 17:13
  directors
• 17:14
  that
• 17:14
  oversees
• 17:15
  the
• 17:15
  life
• 17:15
  and
• 17:16
  movement
• 17:16
  of
• 17:17
  our
• 17:17
  community
• 17:17
  together.
• 17:18
  And
• 17:18
  yeah,
• 17:18
  can
• 17:19
  meetings
• 17:19
  get
• 17:19
  long
• 17:19
  and
• 17:19
  get
• 17:20
  technical
• 17:20
  and
• 17:20
  get
• 17:20
  the
• 17:20
  weeds
• 17:21
  about
• 17:21
  the
• 17:21
  bills
• 17:22
  and
• 17:22
  who's
• 17:23
  not
• 17:23
  cleaning
• 17:24
  up
• 17:24
  after
• 17:24
  they
• 17:24
  do
• 17:24
  a
• 17:25
  meal
• 17:25
  or
• 17:25
  not
• 17:25
  and
• 17:26
  those
• 17:26
  kind
• 17:26
  of
• 17:26
  like
• 17:26
  dry
• 17:27
  boring
• 17:27
  stuff
• 17:28
  when
• 17:28
  it
• 17:28
  comes
• 17:28
  to
• 17:28
  community.
• 17:29
  But
• 17:29
  they're
• 17:30
  also
• 17:30
  called
• 17:31
  and
• 17:32
  elected
• 17:33
  to
• 17:33
  be
• 17:33
  good
• 17:34
  stewards
• 17:34
  of
• 17:34
  our
• 17:35
  buildings
• 17:35
  and
• 17:36
  the
• 17:36
  budget
• 17:36
  and
• 17:37
  to
• 17:37
  make
• 17:37
  sure
• 17:37
  that
• 17:37
  we're
• 17:37
  on
• 17:38
  point
• 17:38
  with
• 17:38
  our
• 17:38
  mission
• 17:38
  and
• 17:39
  vision.
• 17:39
  So
• 17:39
  I
• 17:40
  have
• 17:40
  a
• 17:40
  kind
• 17:40
  of
• 17:40
  a
• 17:41
  love
• 17:41
  hate
• 17:41
  relationship
• 17:41
  when
• 17:42
  it
• 17:42
  comes
• 17:42
  to
• 17:43
  board
• 17:43
  of
• 17:44
  directors
• 17:44
  and
• 17:44
  councils
• 17:45
  and
• 17:45
  institutions
• 17:46
  because
• 17:46
  they're
• 17:46
  necessary.
• 17:47
  You
• 17:47
  need
• 17:48
  these
• 17:48
  things.
• 17:48
  But
• 17:48
  we
• 17:49
  see
• 17:49
  the
• 17:49
  role
• 17:49
  they
• 17:49
  play
• 17:50
  in,
• 17:51
  in
• 17:51
  this
• 17:51
  Star
• 17:51
  wars
• 17:51
  movie
• 17:52
  when
• 17:52
  it
• 17:52
  comes
• 17:52
  or
• 17:52
  this,
• 17:53
  this
• 17:53
  lore
• 17:53
  when
• 17:54
  it
• 17:54
  comes
• 17:54
  to
• 17:54
  Anakin
• 17:54
  Skywalker
• 17:55
  and
• 17:04
  Ahsoka.
• 17:56
  So
• 17:56
  let's
• 17:56
  talk
• 17:56
  about
• 17:56
  Anakin
• 17:57
  first
• 17:57
  and
• 17:57
  kind
• 17:58
  of
• 17:58
  his
• 17:58
  history
• 17:59
  with,
• 18:00
  with
• 18:01
  the
• 18:01
  Jedi
• 18:01
  Council.
• 18:02
  And
• 18:02
  it
• 18:02
  didn't
• 18:02
  start
• 18:03
  off
• 18:03
  on
• 18:03
  a
• 18:03
  great
• 18:04
  foot
• 18:05
  and
• 18:05
  then.
• 18:05
  And
• 18:05
  again
• 18:06
  it
• 18:06
  keeps
• 18:06
  going
• 18:07
  in
• 18:07
  those
• 18:07
  movies
• 18:07
  and
• 18:08
  even
• 18:08
  in
• 18:08
  the
• 18:08
  Clone
• 18:09
  wars
• 18:09
  themselves.
• 18:10
  Kevin,
• 18:10
  what's
• 18:10
  your
• 18:10
  take
• 18:11
  on
• 18:11
  like
• 18:11
  how.
• 18:12
  How
• 18:12
  from
• 18:13
  the
• 18:13
  get
• 18:13
  go
• 18:13
  Mace
• 18:14
  wanna
• 18:14
  do.
• 18:15
  As
• 18:15
  much
• 18:15
  as
• 18:15
  I
• 18:15
  like
• 18:15
  Samuel
• 18:16
  Jackson
• 18:16
  and
• 18:16
  he.
• 18:17
  He
• 18:17
  just
• 18:17
  had
• 18:17
  a
• 18:17
  scowl
• 18:18
  on
• 18:18
  his
• 18:18
  face
• 18:18
  the
• 18:18
  entire
• 18:18
  time.
• 18:19
  He
• 18:19
  didn't
• 18:19
  like
• 18:19
  Anakin
• 18:19
  from
• 18:19
  the
• 18:20
  beginning.
• 18:20
  He
• 18:20
  didn't
• 18:20
  give
• 18:20
  him
• 18:20
  a
• 18:21
  chance.
• 18:21
  Come
• 18:21
  on,
• 18:21
  y'.
• 18:21
  All.
• 18:22
  Just
• 18:22
  because
• 18:22
  he
• 18:22
  loved
• 18:22
  his
• 18:22
  mom,
• 18:23
  because
• 18:23
  he
• 18:24
  loved
• 18:24
  his
• 18:24
  mom.
• 18:24
  He
• 18:24
  gave
• 18:24
  him
• 18:24
  a
• 18:25
  hard
• 18:25
  time.
• 18:25
  Come
• 18:25
  on.
• 18:26
  But
• 18:26
  anyway,
• 18:26
  Kevin,
• 18:27
  what's
• 18:27
  your
• 18:27
  thoughts
• 18:27
  on
• 18:28
  how
• 18:28
  the.
• 18:29
  The
• 18:30
  faces
• 18:30
  behind
• 18:31
  Anakin
• 18:32
  Skywalker,
• 18:33
  one
• 18:33
  of
• 18:33
  the
• 18:33
  big
• 18:33
  ones
• 18:33
  is
• 18:33
  why
• 18:34
  he
• 18:34
  went
• 18:34
  to
• 18:34
  the
• 18:34
  went
• 18:35
  to
• 18:35
  the
• 18:35
  dark
• 18:35
  side
• 18:35
  is
• 18:36
  because
• 18:36
  of
• 18:36
  this
• 18:36
  council.
• 18:37
  Kevin,
• 18:37
  enlighten
• 18:38
  me.
• 18:38
  Well,
• 18:39
  especially
• 18:39
  with
• 18:39
  characters
• 18:40
  like
• 18:40
  Mesa,
• 18:41
  I
• 18:41
  have
• 18:41
  to
• 18:41
  give
• 18:41
  a
• 18:41
  shout
• 18:41
  out
• 18:42
  to
• 18:42
  a
• 18:42
  creator
• 18:43
  you
• 18:43
  and
• 18:43
  I
• 18:43
  love
• 18:43
  Mark
• 18:43
  Bernard.
• 18:44
  And
• 18:44
  he
• 18:45
  said
• 18:45
  one
• 18:45
  time
• 18:45
  on
• 18:46
  a
• 18:46
  podcast
• 18:46
  with
• 18:46
  Kevin
• 18:47
  Smith
• 18:47
  that
• 18:48
  he
• 18:48
  described
• 18:48
  the
• 18:48
  Jedi
• 18:49
  Council
• 18:49
  as
• 18:49
  space
• 18:49
  priests.
• 18:50
  And
• 18:50
  I
• 18:51
  about
• 18:51
  like.
• 18:51
  And
• 18:52
  I
• 18:52
  was
• 18:52
  just
• 18:52
  like,
• 18:52
  yeah,
• 18:52
  that's
• 18:53
  about
• 18:53
  the
• 18:53
  most
• 18:53
  apt
• 18:53
  description
• 18:54
  you
• 18:54
  could
• 18:54
  have.
• 18:55
  But
• 18:55
  as
• 18:56
  very
• 18:56
  stoic
• 18:57
  beatings
• 18:57
  that
• 18:57
  like
• 18:57
  you
• 18:58
  said,
• 18:58
  they
• 18:59
  see
• 18:59
  themselves
• 19:00
  as
• 19:00
  stewards
• 19:01
  and
• 19:01
  as
• 19:02
  guardians
• 19:04
  not
• 19:04
  just
• 19:04
  of
• 19:04
  the
• 19:04
  Jedi
• 19:05
  way,
• 19:05
  but
• 19:05
  really
• 19:06
  of
• 19:06
  the
• 19:06
  galaxy
• 19:06
  and
• 19:06
  the
• 19:07
  Republic.
• 19:07
  And
• 19:08
  their
• 19:09
  view
• 19:09
  of
• 19:10
  Anakin
• 19:10
  is
• 19:11
  very
• 19:11
  negative
• 19:11
  at
• 19:12
  the
• 19:12
  beginning
• 19:12
  not
• 19:12
  necessarily.
• 19:13
  Oh,
• 19:13
  they
• 19:13
  hate
• 19:13
  him
• 19:13
  as
• 19:14
  a
• 19:14
  person,
• 19:14
  but
• 19:14
  they
• 19:15
  have
• 19:15
  an
• 19:15
  immediate
• 19:16
  dismissal
• 19:17
  of
• 19:17
  his
• 19:18
  ability
• 19:18
  to
• 19:18
  become
• 19:18
  a
• 19:19
  Jedi
• 19:19
  because
• 19:20
  they
• 19:20
  say
• 19:20
  immediately
• 19:21
  Yoda,
• 19:21
  Mace,
• 19:22
  the
• 19:22
  rest
• 19:22
  of
• 19:22
  the
• 19:22
  council
• 19:23
  says
• 19:23
  he's
• 19:23
  too
• 19:23
  old
• 19:24
  to
• 19:24
  become
• 19:24
  a
• 19:25
  Jedi,
• 19:25
  which,
• 19:25
  I
• 19:25
  mean,
• 19:26
  Anakin
• 19:26
  is
• 19:27
  only
• 19:27
  nine
• 19:28
  at
• 19:28
  the
• 19:28
  time
• 19:29
  when
• 19:29
  Qui
• 19:29
  Gon
• 19:30
  finds
• 19:30
  him
• 19:31
  on
• 19:31
  Tatooine
• 19:32
  and,
• 19:33
  and
• 19:33
  thinks
• 19:33
  that
• 19:34
  he
• 19:34
  is
• 19:34
  the
• 19:34
  chosen
• 19:35
  one
• 19:35
  because
• 19:35
  there
• 19:36
  is
• 19:36
  this
• 19:36
  prophecy
• 19:37
  stating
• 19:37
  that
• 19:38
  someone.
• 19:40
  In
• 19:40
  the
• 19:40
  Force.
• 19:40
  Right,
• 19:41
  yes,
• 19:41
  yes.
• 19:42
  I
• 19:42
  wonder
• 19:42
  where,
• 19:42
  I
• 19:42
  wonder
• 19:43
  where
• 19:43
  Lucas
• 19:43
  got
• 19:43
  that
• 19:44
  idea
• 19:44
  from.
• 19:45
  But
• 19:45
  yeah,
• 19:45
  you
• 19:46
  know,
• 19:46
  yeah.
• 19:47
  And
• 19:47
  you
• 19:47
  know,
• 19:47
  that's
• 19:48
  also
• 19:48
  a
• 19:48
  whole
• 19:49
  other
• 19:49
  topic
• 19:50
  is
• 19:50
  the
• 19:50
  introduction
• 19:50
  of
• 19:51
  midichlorians
• 19:51
  and
• 19:52
  whether
• 19:52
  that
• 19:53
  was
• 19:53
  a
• 19:53
  good
• 19:54
  or
• 19:54
  unnecessary
• 19:55
  addition
• 19:55
  to
• 19:56
  the
• 19:56
  Star
• 19:56
  wars
• 19:56
  mythos.
• 19:57
  But,
• 19:57
  but
• 19:57
  anyway,
• 19:58
  Qui
• 19:58
  Gon
• 19:58
  finds
• 19:59
  him,
• 19:59
  sees
• 19:59
  that
• 20:00
  he
• 20:00
  has
• 20:00
  so
• 20:00
  much
• 20:01
  power
• 20:01
  and
• 20:01
  potential,
• 20:01
  and
• 20:02
  he
• 20:03
  immediately
• 20:03
  wants
• 20:03
  to
• 20:03
  train
• 20:04
  him.
• 20:04
  But
• 20:04
  the
• 20:04
  Jedi
• 20:05
  Council
• 20:05
  have
• 20:05
  a
• 20:05
  very
• 20:06
  negative
• 20:06
  view
• 20:07
  of
• 20:07
  that
• 20:08
  idea
• 20:08
  because
• 20:08
  they
• 20:09
  think
• 20:09
  that
• 20:09
  he's
• 20:10
  already
• 20:10
  infused
• 20:10
  with
• 20:11
  too
• 20:11
  much
• 20:11
  emotion,
• 20:12
  particularly,
• 20:12
  as
• 20:12
  you
• 20:13
  said,
• 20:13
  with
• 20:13
  his
• 20:13
  mother.
• 20:13
  He,
• 20:15
  he
• 20:15
  loves
• 20:15
  his
• 20:15
  mother
• 20:16
  and
• 20:16
  he
• 20:16
  ultimately
• 20:18
  has
• 20:18
  a
• 20:18
  desire
• 20:19
  to
• 20:19
  learn
• 20:20
  the
• 20:20
  ways
• 20:20
  of
• 20:20
  the
• 20:20
  forest
• 20:21
  and
• 20:21
  then
• 20:22
  one
• 20:22
  day
• 20:22
  go
• 20:23
  and
• 20:23
  free
• 20:23
  her
• 20:23
  from
• 20:24
  slavery
• 20:25
  on
• 20:25
  Tatooine.
• 20:26
  Because
• 20:27
  while
• 20:27
  the
• 20:28
  deal
• 20:28
  that
• 20:28
  Qui
• 20:28
  Gon
• 20:29
  made
• 20:29
  on
• 20:29
  Tatooine
• 20:30
  allowed
• 20:31
  secured
• 20:32
  Anakin's
• 20:32
  freedom
• 20:33
  after
• 20:33
  he
• 20:33
  won
• 20:33
  the
• 20:33
  pod
• 20:34
  race,
• 20:34
  it
• 20:35
  did
• 20:35
  not
• 20:35
  include
• 20:36
  his
• 20:36
  mother,
• 20:36
  Shmi
• 20:37
  Skywalker,
• 20:38
  and
• 20:39
  he
• 20:39
  was
• 20:40
  determined
• 20:40
  to
• 20:41
  one
• 20:41
  day
• 20:42
  free
• 20:42
  her.
• 20:43
  And
• 20:44
  Yoda,
• 20:44
  Mace,
• 20:45
  Windu,
• 20:45
  all
• 20:45
  the
• 20:46
  others
• 20:46
  saw
• 20:46
  that
• 20:46
  and
• 20:47
  they
• 20:47
  said,
• 20:47
  no,
• 20:47
  this
• 20:48
  is
• 20:48
  too
• 20:48
  much.
• 20:49
  This
• 20:49
  is
• 20:49
  too
• 20:50
  dangerous.
• 20:50
  Like,
• 20:51
  with.
• 20:51
  The
• 20:51
  whole
• 20:51
  point
• 20:52
  of
• 20:52
  raising
• 20:52
  Jedi
• 20:53
  is
• 20:53
  we
• 20:53
  raise
• 20:54
  them
• 20:54
  from
• 20:54
  a
• 20:54
  very
• 20:55
  early
• 20:55
  age
• 20:55
  and
• 20:56
  we
• 20:56
  don't
• 20:56
  allow
• 20:56
  them
• 20:57
  to
• 20:57
  be
• 20:57
  corrupted
• 20:58
  by
• 20:59
  emotion
• 20:59
  and
• 20:59
  feelings.
• 21:00
  And
• 21:00
  we
• 21:01
  want
• 21:01
  them.
• 21:01
  Attachments.
• 21:02
  Attachments,
• 21:03
  exactly.
• 21:03
  We
• 21:03
  want
• 21:04
  them
• 21:04
  to
• 21:04
  be
• 21:04
  extremely
• 21:05
  level
• 21:05
  headed
• 21:06
  and
• 21:06
  not
• 21:06
  have
• 21:06
  any
• 21:07
  kind
• 21:07
  of
• 21:07
  bias
• 21:08
  or
• 21:08
  attachment
• 21:08
  whatsoever.
• 21:09
  And
• 21:10
  really,
• 21:10
  that's
• 21:10
  a
• 21:10
  thread
• 21:11
  that
• 21:11
  continues.
• 21:11
  Like,
• 21:12
  I
• 21:12
  mean,
• 21:13
  I
• 21:13
  think
• 21:13
  while
• 21:14
  Mace
• 21:14
  and
• 21:14
  the
• 21:14
  others,
• 21:15
  like,
• 21:15
  do
• 21:16
  eventually
• 21:16
  see
• 21:17
  Anakin's
• 21:18
  powers,
• 21:18
  his
• 21:18
  potential,
• 21:19
  his
• 21:19
  abilities
• 21:19
  and
• 21:20
  everything,
• 21:20
  and
• 21:21
  particularly
• 21:22
  in
• 21:22
  time
• 21:22
  of
• 21:22
  crisis,
• 21:23
  they
• 21:23
  lean
• 21:23
  on
• 21:24
  him
• 21:24
  a
• 21:24
  lot.
• 21:24
  He
• 21:24
  becomes
• 21:25
  a
• 21:25
  war
• 21:25
  hero.
• 21:26
  Even
• 21:26
  though,
• 21:26
  I
• 21:27
  mean,
• 21:27
  it's,
• 21:27
  it's
• 21:28
  also,
• 21:28
  this
• 21:28
  is
• 21:28
  what
• 21:28
  I
• 21:29
  love.
• 21:29
  The
• 21:30
  Jedi
• 21:30
  Council
• 21:30
  is
• 21:30
  like,
• 21:31
  they
• 21:31
  have
• 21:31
  all
• 21:31
  these
• 21:31
  roles
• 21:32
  and
• 21:32
  we're,
• 21:32
  you
• 21:32
  know,
• 21:32
  keepers
• 21:33
  of
• 21:33
  peace,
• 21:33
  not
• 21:33
  soldiers.
• 21:34
  And
• 21:34
  then
• 21:34
  they
• 21:34
  all
• 21:35
  become
• 21:35
  generals
• 21:36
  in
• 21:36
  the
• 21:36
  Clone
• 21:36
  Wars.
• 21:36
  Like,
• 21:36
  I
• 21:37
  mean,
• 21:37
  there,
• 21:37
  there
• 21:37
  is
• 21:38
  so
• 21:38
  much
• 21:38
  hypocrisy
• 21:39
  there.
• 21:39
  So
• 21:40
  like
• 21:41
  you,
• 21:41
  I,
• 21:41
  I
• 21:41
  love
• 21:41
  Samuel
• 21:42
  Jackson
• 21:42
  and
• 21:42
  I,
• 21:43
  I
• 21:43
  always
• 21:43
  thought
• 21:43
  Mace
• 21:44
  was
• 21:44
  such
• 21:44
  a
• 21:44
  cool
• 21:44
  character,
• 21:45
  but
• 21:45
  he's
• 21:46
  also
• 21:46
  just
• 21:47
  kind
• 21:47
  of
• 21:47
  a
• 21:47
  douche.
• 21:48
  Like,
• 21:48
  I
• 21:48
  mean,
• 21:48
  like,
• 21:48
  and
• 21:48
  he's
• 21:49
  just
• 21:49
  like,
• 21:49
  I
• 21:50
  mean,
• 21:50
  and
• 21:51
  it's
• 21:51
  very
• 21:51
  hypocritical
• 21:52
  of
• 21:52
  the
• 21:52
  things
• 21:52
  he
• 21:52
  says,
• 21:53
  and
• 21:54
  that
• 21:54
  has
• 21:54
  a
• 21:55
  profound
• 21:55
  impact
• 21:55
  on
• 21:56
  Anakin,
• 21:56
  his
• 21:56
  judgmental
• 21:57
  nature.
• 21:58
  And
• 21:58
  then
• 21:58
  Obi
• 21:59
  Wan,
• 21:59
  I
• 21:59
  think,
• 21:59
  is
• 21:59
  sort
• 22:00
  of
• 22:00
  quite
• 22:00
  caught
• 22:00
  in
• 22:00
  the
• 22:01
  middle
• 22:01
  of
• 22:01
  that.
• 22:01
  I.
• 22:01
  He
• 22:02
  loves
• 22:02
  Anakin
• 22:02
  as
• 22:03
  a
• 22:03
  brother,
• 22:03
  and
• 22:04
  he's
• 22:05
  both
• 22:05
  like
• 22:05
  a
• 22:05
  brother
• 22:05
  and
• 22:05
  a
• 22:05
  father
• 22:06
  figure
• 22:06
  to
• 22:06
  him,
• 22:07
  but
• 22:07
  he's
• 22:08
  also
• 22:08
  trying
• 22:08
  to
• 22:08
  appease
• 22:09
  to
• 22:09
  the
• 22:09
  Council
• 22:09
  and
• 22:10
  adhere
• 22:10
  to
• 22:10
  their
• 22:11
  ways.
• 22:11
  So
• 22:11
  he
• 22:11
  feels
• 22:12
  kind
• 22:12
  of
• 22:12
  caught
• 22:13
  in
• 22:13
  that
• 22:15
  with
• 22:16
  those
• 22:16
  opposing
• 22:17
  values
• 22:17
  a
• 22:17
  lot.
• 22:17
  And
• 22:18
  that's
• 22:18
  something
• 22:18
  I
• 22:18
  can
• 22:19
  relate
• 22:19
  to
• 22:19
  certainly,
• 22:19
  too.
• 22:20
  I
• 22:20
  like
• 22:20
  working
• 22:21
  in
• 22:21
  management.
• 22:21
  I
• 22:22
  like.
• 22:22
  I
• 22:22
  have
• 22:22
  a
• 22:23
  deep
• 22:24
  connection
• 22:24
  to
• 22:24
  the
• 22:24
  people
• 22:25
  I
• 22:25
  work
• 22:25
  with,
• 22:25
  and
• 22:26
  I'm
• 22:26
  looking
• 22:26
  out
• 22:27
  for
• 22:27
  them
• 22:27
  a
• 22:27
  lot.
• 22:27
  And
• 22:27
  then
• 22:27
  I'm
• 22:28
  also
• 22:28
  having
• 22:28
  to
• 22:28
  answer
• 22:29
  to
• 22:29
  higher
• 22:29
  ups.
• 22:30
  And
• 22:31
  so
• 22:31
  I
• 22:31
  relate
• 22:32
  to
• 22:32
  Obi
• 22:32
  Wan's
• 22:33
  path
• 22:33
  in
• 22:34
  that
• 22:34
  way
• 22:34
  a
• 22:34
  lot.
• 22:35
  But,
• 22:35
  yeah,
• 22:35
  that's
• 22:35
  a
• 22:36
  little
• 22:36
  bit
• 22:36
  about
• 22:36
  it.
• 22:36
  So
• 22:36
  the
• 22:36
  Council
• 22:37
  is
• 22:37
  very
• 22:37
  hard
• 22:38
  on
• 22:38
  Anakin
• 22:38
  throughout.
• 22:39
  I
• 22:40
  think
• 22:40
  they
• 22:40
  warm
• 22:40
  up
• 22:40
  to
• 22:40
  him
• 22:41
  eventually,
• 22:41
  but
• 22:42
  then,
• 22:42
  even
• 22:42
  then,
• 22:43
  they're
• 22:43
  still
• 22:43
  like,
• 22:44
  after
• 22:45
  everything.
• 22:46
  By
• 22:46
  the
• 22:46
  time
• 22:46
  Revenge
• 22:47

  he's
• 22:48
  been
• 22:48
  a
• 22:48
  war
• 22:48
  hero,
• 22:48
  he's

• 22:49
  Ahsoka,
• 22:50
  they
• 22:50
  still
• 22:50
  don't
• 22:51
  have
• 22:51
  a

• 22:51

  him,

  and

  they

  him
• 22:54
  the

  I

  don't

  think,
• 22:57
  was

  a

  good
• 22:58
  move.
• 22:58
  We'll

• 22:58
  We
• 22:58
  can
• 22:58
  get
• 22:59

  that.
• 23:00
  Yeah.

  John.
• 23:01
  John,
• 23:01
  how
• 23:01
  about
• 23:01
  you?
• 23:02
  You're
• 23:02
  being
• 23:02
  a
• 23:02

• 23:03

  What's

• 23:16
  on
• 23:16
  with
• 23:16
  this
• 23:16
  Jedi
• 23:17

• 23:17
  and
• 23:18
  Anakin?
• 23:19
  Well,
• 23:20
  they
• 23:20
  kind
• 23:21
  of
• 23:21
  did
• 23:21
  start
• 23:21
  off
• 23:21
  on
• 23:21
  the
• 23:22
  wrong
• 23:22

• 23:22
  with
• 23:22

• 23:23
  you
• 23:23
  know,
• 23:23
  he's
• 23:23
  too
• 23:23
  old,
• 23:24
  and
• 23:24
  him
• 23:24
  being,
• 23:24
  like,
• 23:25
  a
• 23:25
  little
• 23:25
  kid,
• 23:25
  you
• 23:26

  mind,
• 23:26
  he's
• 23:27
  probably
• 23:27
  like,
• 23:27
  what
• 23:27
  are
• 23:27
  they
• 23:27
  talking
• 23:27
  about?
• 23:28
  You
• 23:28
  know,
• 23:28
  he
• 23:28
  doesn't
• 23:28
  understand
• 23:29
  their
• 23:29
  structure,
• 23:30
  that
• 23:30
  they
• 23:30
  basically
• 23:32
  are,
• 23:32
  like,
• 23:33
  kidnapping
• 23:33
  children,
• 23:34
  but,
• 23:34
  you
• 23:34
  know,
• 23:34
  taking
• 23:35
  children
• 23:35
  from
• 23:36
  extremely
• 23:36
  young
• 23:37
  ages
• 23:37
  to
• 23:38
  be
• 23:38
  inducted
• 23:39
  into
• 23:39
  this.
• 23:39
  Once
• 23:39
  they
• 23:39
  detect
• 23:40
  their,
• 23:41
  you
• 23:41
  know,
• 23:41
  M.
• 23:41
  Count
• 23:42
  or
• 23:42
  their
• 23:42
  sensitivity
• 23:43
  to
• 23:43
  the
• 23:43
  Force,
• 23:44
  they
• 23:44
  are
• 23:45
  inducted
• 23:46
  into
• 23:46
  this
• 23:46
  order,
• 23:47
  which
• 23:48
  is
• 23:49
  in,
• 23:49
  I
• 23:50
  think,
• 23:50
  you
• 23:50
  know,
• 23:50
  their
• 23:51
  judgment
• 23:51
  throughout
• 23:51
  the
• 23:52
  Clone
• 23:52
  wars
• 23:52
  show
• 23:53
  or
• 23:53
  even
• 23:53
  just
• 23:53
  the
• 23:54
  movies
• 23:54
  themselves.
• 23:54
  I
• 23:54
  mean,
• 23:55
  you
• 23:55
  could
• 23:55
  tell
• 23:55
  that
• 23:55
  they
• 23:56
  don't
• 23:56
  all
• 23:56
  agree
• 23:57
  with
• 23:57
  each
• 23:57
  other.
• 23:58
  There's
• 23:58
  some
• 23:59
  louder,
• 24:00
  more
• 24:00
  passionate
• 24:01
  people
• 24:01
  like
• 24:01
  Mace
• 24:02
  Wandu,
• 24:03
  who
• 24:04
  try
• 24:04
  to.
• 24:05
  They
• 24:05
  really
• 24:05
  do
• 24:05
  try
• 24:05
  to
• 24:06
  get
• 24:06
  their
• 24:06
  way,
• 24:06
  or
• 24:06
  they
• 24:06
  just.
• 24:07
  Just
• 24:07
  do
• 24:07
  it.
• 24:08
  Do
• 24:08
  as
• 24:08
  I
• 24:08
  say.
• 24:08
  Not
• 24:08
  as
• 24:09
  I
• 24:09
  do
• 24:09
  kind
• 24:09
  of
• 24:09
  a
• 24:10
  attitude
• 24:12
  and.
• 24:13
  Or
• 24:13
  they
• 24:13
  think
• 24:13
  that
• 24:13
  they're.
• 24:14
  That
• 24:14
  they're
• 24:14
  just
• 24:15
  so
• 24:15
  good
• 24:15
  that
• 24:15
  they
• 24:15
  can
• 24:16
  handle
• 24:16
  everything
• 24:16
  by
• 24:16
  themselves,
• 24:17
  which
• 24:17
  is
• 24:17
  really
• 24:18
  big
• 24:18
  boon
• 24:19
  in
• 24:20
  Revenge
• 24:21
  of
• 24:21
  the
• 24:21
  Sith,
• 24:21
  when
• 24:21
  he's
• 24:22
  just
• 24:22
  like,
• 24:22
  you
• 24:23
  know,
• 24:23
  you've
• 24:23
  gained
• 24:23
  my
• 24:23
  trust,
• 24:24
  but
• 24:24
  you
• 24:24
  can't
• 24:24
  help
• 24:24
  me
• 24:25
  take
• 24:25
  down
• 24:25
  this
• 24:25
  big
• 24:25
  bad
• 24:26
  guy,
• 24:26
  you
• 24:27
  know,
• 24:27
  but
• 24:28
  yeah,
• 24:29
  no,
• 24:30
  the
• 24:30
  Council
• 24:30
  just
• 24:31
  doesn't
• 24:32
  function
• 24:32
  the
• 24:32
  way
• 24:32
  that
• 24:33
  it
• 24:33
  should.
• 24:33
  It's.
• 24:33
  It's
• 24:34
  a
• 24:34
  good
• 24:34
  example
• 24:35
  of
• 24:35
  a,
• 24:36
  you
• 24:36
  know,
• 24:37
  like
• 24:37
  a
• 24:37
  necessary.
• 24:38
  A
• 24:38
  necessary
• 24:39
  thing
• 24:39
  that
• 24:39
  doesn't
• 24:40
  function
• 24:40
  the
• 24:40
  way
• 24:40
  it
• 24:41
  should.
• 24:42
  It's,
• 24:42
  you
• 24:43
  know,
• 24:43
  for
• 24:43
  all
• 24:44
  intents
• 24:44
  and
• 24:44
  purposes,
• 24:44
  it
• 24:45
  is
• 24:45
  corrupted,
• 24:46
  but
• 24:46
  it's
• 24:46
  also
• 24:47
  one
• 24:47
  of
• 24:47
  those
• 24:47
  things
• 24:47
  where
• 24:47
  it's
• 24:47
  like
• 24:49
  their
• 24:49
  incompetency
• 24:51
  led
• 24:52
  to
• 24:52
  the
• 24:52
  down
• 24:52
  their
• 24:53
  own
• 24:53
  order
• 24:54
  getting
• 24:54
  completely
• 24:55
  demolished.
• 24:56
  And
• 24:56
  also
• 24:56
  they
• 24:56
  denied
• 24:57
  one
• 24:57
  guy
• 24:57
  a
• 24:58
  promotion
• 24:58
  and
• 24:58
  then
• 24:58
  he
• 24:58
  obliterated
• 24:59
  the
• 24:59
  whole
• 25:00
  company.
• 25:01
  Right.
• 25:03
  So,
• 25:03
  yeah,
• 25:03
  even
• 25:04
  like,
• 25:04
  you
• 25:05
  know,
• 25:05
  we.
• 25:05
  When
• 25:06
  we
• 25:06
  hear
• 25:06
  about
• 25:08
  the
• 25:08
  Clone
• 25:08
  wars
• 25:08
  in
• 25:09
  the
• 25:09
  original
• 25:09
  movie,
• 25:10
  Episode
• 25:11
  four,
• 25:12
  you
• 25:12
  know
• 25:12
  that.
• 25:13
  That
• 25:13
  they
• 25:13
  didn't
• 25:13
  win
• 25:14
  because
• 25:14
  they.
• 25:14
  They
• 25:15
  got
• 25:15
  to
• 25:15
  the
• 25:15
  point
• 25:16
  where
• 25:16
  the
• 25:16
  Empire
• 25:17
  is
• 25:17
  controlling
• 25:17
  the
• 25:17
  universe
• 25:18
  and
• 25:18
  the
• 25:18
  Emperor
• 25:19
  is
• 25:19
  controlling
• 25:19
  the
• 25:19
  universe,
• 25:20
  and
• 25:20
  Darth
• 25:20
  Vader
• 25:21
  has
• 25:21
  everything
• 25:21
  in
• 25:22
  his
• 25:22
  grip
• 25:22
  and
• 25:22
  the
• 25:22
  Jedi
• 25:23
  are
• 25:23
  all
• 25:23
  but
• 25:23
  extinct.
• 25:24
  And
• 25:24
  so,
• 25:24
  you
• 25:25
  know,
• 25:25
  you
• 25:25
  kind
• 25:25
  of
• 25:25
  figure
• 25:26
  out,
• 25:26
  you
• 25:26
  know,
• 25:27
  something
• 25:27
  must
• 25:27
  have
• 25:27
  gone
• 25:28
  wrong
• 25:28
  along
• 25:28
  the
• 25:28
  way,
• 25:29
  and
• 25:29
  putting
• 25:29
  those
• 25:29
  pieces
• 25:30
  are
• 25:30
  telling
• 25:30
  that
• 25:30
  story
• 25:31
  of.
• 25:31
  Of
• 25:32
  kind
• 25:32
  of
• 25:32
  having
• 25:32
  a
• 25:32
  high
• 25:34
  value
• 25:34
  of
• 25:35
  the
• 25:35
  Jedi
• 25:36
  and
• 25:36
  their
• 25:36
  ways
• 25:37
  and
• 25:37
  that
• 25:38
  they
• 25:38
  are
• 25:38
  good
• 25:38
  in
• 25:38
  the
• 25:38
  universe
• 25:39
  and
• 25:39
  a
• 25:39
  light
• 25:40
  that
• 25:40
  people
• 25:41
  should
• 25:41
  follow.
• 25:41
  But
• 25:42
  yeah,
• 25:42
  what
• 25:43
  these
• 25:43
  kind
• 25:43
  of
• 25:44
  micro
• 25:44
  decisions
• 25:45
  or
• 25:46
  microaggressions
• 25:47
  or
• 25:48
  sticking
• 25:48
  to
• 25:49
  the
• 25:49
  rules
• 25:49
  too
• 25:49
  tightly
• 25:50
  or
• 25:50
  their
• 25:50
  orthodoxy
• 25:51
  in
• 25:51
  a
• 25:51
  way
• 25:52
  kind
• 25:52
  of
• 25:52
  gets
• 25:52
  in
• 25:52
  the
• 25:52
  way
• 25:53
  of
• 25:53
  them
• 25:53
  seeing
• 25:53
  a
• 25:53
  broader,
• 25:54
  wider
• 25:54
  expansive
• 25:55
  universe.
• 25:55
  And
• 25:55
  what
• 25:55
  could
• 25:55
  happen.
• 25:56
  Qui
• 25:56
  Gon's
• 25:56
  kind
• 25:56
  of
• 25:57
  on
• 25:57
  the
• 25:57
  page
• 25:57
  was
• 25:57
  like,
• 25:57
  yeah,
• 25:58
  I
• 25:59
  don't
• 25:59
  need
• 25:59
  to
• 25:59
  be
• 25:59
  on
• 25:59
  council.
• 26:00
  There's
• 26:00
  other
• 26:00
  ways
• 26:01
  that
• 26:01
  I'm.
• 26:01
  I'm.
• 26:01
  I'm
• 26:02
  experienced
• 26:02
  the
• 26:02
  Force
• 26:03
  and
• 26:03
  can
• 26:03
  do
• 26:03
  this.
• 26:03
  So
• 26:06
  I
• 26:06
  don't
• 26:06
  know
• 26:06
  if
• 26:06
  they.
• 26:06
  If
• 26:07
  they
• 26:07
  let
• 26:07
  go
• 26:07
  of
• 26:07
  their
• 26:08
  rules
• 26:09
  and
• 26:09
  rigidness,
• 26:10
  would
• 26:10
  there
• 26:10
  be
• 26:11
  a
• 26:11
  little
• 26:11
  bit
• 26:12
  more
• 26:13
  flow?
• 26:13
  But
• 26:14
  then,
• 26:14
  you
• 26:14
  know,
• 26:14
  I
• 26:15
  can
• 26:15
  understand
• 26:15
  them
• 26:16
  want
• 26:16
  them
• 26:16
  not
• 26:16
  wanting
• 26:17
  the
• 26:17
  dark
• 26:17
  side
• 26:17
  to
• 26:18
  emerge
• 26:19
  and.
• 26:19
  And
• 26:20
  take
• 26:20
  over.
• 26:22
  But
• 26:22
  I
• 26:22
  think
• 26:22
  Luke.
• 26:23
  Luke
• 26:23
  showed
• 26:24
  later
• 26:24
  on
• 26:24
  in
• 26:24
  the
• 26:24
  movies
• 26:25
  that,
• 26:25
  yeah,
• 26:25
  his
• 26:25
  is
• 26:26
  his
• 26:26
  love
• 26:26
  for
• 26:26
  his
• 26:26
  friends
• 26:27
  and
• 26:27
  it's
• 26:27
  his
• 26:27
  attachments
• 26:28
  and
• 26:29
  that
• 26:29
  his
• 26:29
  believing
• 26:30
  in
• 26:30
  his.
• 26:31
  His
• 26:31
  father
• 26:32
  that
• 26:33
  eventually
• 26:34
  redeems
• 26:34
  the
• 26:34
  universe
• 26:35
  and
• 26:36
  brings
• 26:36
  him
• 26:36
  back
• 26:36
  to
• 26:36
  the
• 26:37
  good
• 26:37
  side.
• 26:37
  And
• 26:37
  so
• 26:38
  maybe
• 26:38
  attachments
• 26:39
  and
• 26:39
  love
• 26:39
  and
• 26:40
  care
• 26:40
  for
• 26:40
  your
• 26:40
  loved
• 26:40
  ones
• 26:41
  isn't
• 26:42
  all
• 26:42
  that
• 26:42
  bad.
• 26:43
  That
• 26:43
  can
• 26:43
  help
• 26:44
  deconstruct,
• 26:45
  reconstruct
• 26:45
  how
• 26:45
  we
• 26:45
  understand
• 26:46
  the
• 26:46
  Jedi
• 26:46
  religion.
• 26:47
  But
• 26:47
  I
• 26:47
  think,
• 26:48
  yeah,
• 26:50
  you
• 26:50
  got
• 26:50
  to
• 26:50
  tell
• 26:51
  that
• 26:51
  story
• 26:51
  somehow.
• 26:52
  So
• 26:52
  to
• 26:52
  see
• 26:52
  their
• 26:53
  downfall
• 26:53
  and
• 26:54
  the
• 26:54
  slow,
• 26:54
  monotonous
• 26:55
  decisions
• 26:56
  that
• 26:56
  they
• 26:56
  make.
• 26:56
  And
• 26:56
  then
• 26:57
  Palpatine
• 26:57
  throw
• 26:58
  the
• 26:58
  dark
• 26:58
  side
• 26:58
  clouding
• 26:59
  a
• 26:59
  vision
• 27:00
  of
• 27:00
  the
• 27:00
  Force
• 27:01
  that
• 27:01
  Yoda
• 27:01
  says
• 27:01
  in
• 27:01
  the
• 27:02
  prequel
• 27:02
  the
• 27:03
  dark
• 27:03
  side
• 27:03
  Cloudy,
• 27:04
  because
• 27:04
  it
• 27:04
  eventually
• 27:05
  brings
• 27:05
  them
• 27:05
  together.
• 27:05
  It's
• 27:06
  like
• 27:06
  Qui
• 27:07
  Gon
• 27:07
  goes
• 27:07
  to
• 27:07
  them
• 27:07
  and
• 27:08
  says,
• 27:08
  oh,
• 27:08
  you
• 27:09
  know,
• 27:09
  I.
• 27:09
  There's
• 27:09
  a
• 27:10
  Sith
• 27:10
  out
• 27:10
  there.
• 27:10
  I
• 27:10
  got
• 27:11
  attacked.
• 27:11
  There
• 27:11
  was
• 27:11
  a
• 27:12
  red
• 27:12
  lightsaber.
• 27:12
  This
• 27:12
  is
• 27:13
  really
• 27:13
  cool,
• 27:13
  dude
• 27:13
  with
• 27:14
  horns,
• 27:14
  like,
• 27:14
  chasing
• 27:14
  me
• 27:15
  down.
• 27:15
  And
• 27:15
  they're
• 27:16
  like,
• 27:16
  oh,
• 27:16
  really?
• 27:16
  There
• 27:17
  hasn't
• 27:17
  been
• 27:17
  Seth
• 27:17
  forever.
• 27:18
  What's
• 27:18
  going
• 27:18
  on?
• 27:18
  And
• 27:18
  then
• 27:18
  eventually
• 27:19
  he
• 27:19
  brings.
• 27:19
  Anakin
• 27:20
  gets,
• 27:20
  oh,
• 27:20
  and,
• 27:20
  oh,
• 27:21
  yeah,
• 27:21
  I
• 27:21
  found
• 27:21
  this
• 27:22
  kid.
• 27:23
  So
• 27:23
  they
• 27:23
  have
• 27:23
  these
• 27:23
  two
• 27:23
  things
• 27:24
  going
• 27:24
  back
• 27:24
  and
• 27:24
  forth
• 27:25
  where
• 27:25
  the
• 27:25
  vergence
• 27:26
  of
• 27:26
  the
• 27:26
  Force,
• 27:26
  along
• 27:26
  with
• 27:27
  this
• 27:27
  emergence
• 27:27
  of
• 27:28
  a
• 27:28
  dark
• 27:28
  side
• 27:28
  and
• 27:28
  a
• 27:28
  Sith
• 27:29
  and
• 27:29
  Palpatine
• 27:30
  doing
• 27:30
  his
• 27:30
  thing.
• 27:32
  And
• 27:32
  you
• 27:32
  see
• 27:32
  his
• 27:32
  manipulation,
• 27:33
  even
• 27:34
  with
• 27:34
  the
• 27:34
  vote
• 27:34
  of
• 27:37
  no
• 27:38
  confidence
• 27:38
  in
• 27:38
  the
• 27:39
  original
• 27:40
  leader
• 27:40
  of
• 27:40
  the
• 27:40
  Senate.
• 27:41
  And
• 27:41
  then
• 27:41
  he's
• 27:41
  working
• 27:42
  his
• 27:42
  way
• 27:42
  off
• 27:42
  the
• 27:42
  top,
• 27:43
  manipulating
• 27:43
  the
• 27:43
  system.
• 27:44
  So
• 27:44
  I
• 27:44
  find
• 27:45
  all
• 27:45
  that
• 27:45
  interesting
• 27:45
  because
• 27:46
  in
• 27:46
  the
• 27:46
  midst
• 27:46
  of
• 27:46
  the
• 27:47
  world
• 27:47
  that
• 27:47
  we
• 27:47
  live
• 27:47
  in,
• 27:47
  a
• 27:47
  political
• 27:48
  world,
• 27:48
  people
• 27:49
  kind
• 27:49
  of
• 27:49
  gave
• 27:49
  trade
• 27:49
  routes
• 27:50
  and,
• 27:50
  you
• 27:51
  know,
• 27:51
  high
• 27:51
  councils
• 27:52
  and
• 27:52
  committees
• 27:53
  a
• 27:53
  little
• 27:53
  bit
• 27:53
  of
• 27:53
  a
• 27:53
  hard
• 27:54
  time.
• 27:54
  When
• 27:54
  that
• 27:55
  first
• 27:55
  movie
• 27:55
  came
• 27:55
  out,
• 27:55
  they
• 27:56
  were
• 27:56
  like,
• 27:56
  oh,
• 27:56
  boys,
• 27:57
  my
• 27:57
  exciting
• 27:57
  Star
• 27:58
  wars
• 27:58
  trade
• 27:58
  routes
• 27:58
  and.
• 27:59
  And.
• 28:00
  And.
• 28:00
  And
• 28:00
  high
• 28:01
  councils.
• 28:01
  But.
• 28:02
  And
• 28:02
  yet
• 28:02
  we
• 28:02
  see
• 28:02
  how
• 28:03
  we.
• 28:03
  I
• 28:03
  love
• 28:03
  the
• 28:03
  memes.
• 28:04
  They're
• 28:04
  being
• 28:04
  passed
• 28:04
  around
• 28:04
  right
• 28:05
  now
• 28:05
  about
• 28:06
  like,
• 28:06
  oh,
• 28:06
  we
• 28:07
  thought
• 28:07
  this
• 28:07
  was
• 28:07
  irrelevant,
• 28:08
  but
• 28:08
  now
• 28:08
  it's
• 28:08
  very
• 28:08
  relevant
• 28:08
  to
• 28:09
  the
• 28:09
  economy
• 28:09
  and
• 28:09
  what's
• 28:09
  going
• 28:10
  on
• 28:10
  in
• 28:10
  the
• 28:10
  world.
• 28:12
  So.
• 28:12
  So,
• 28:12
  yeah,
• 28:14
  yeah.
• 28:14
  And
• 28:15
  then
• 28:15
  with
• 28:15
  Anakin,
• 28:15
  like,
• 28:16
  it's
• 28:16
  not
• 28:16
  just
• 28:16
  him
• 28:17
  as
• 28:17
  a
• 28:17
  kid,
• 28:17
  but
• 28:17
  also
• 28:18
  like
• 28:18
  you
• 28:18
  Gu
• 28:20
  in
• 28:20
  the
• 28:20
  Clone
• 28:20
  wars,
• 28:21
  he
• 28:21
  becomes
• 28:21
  a
• 28:21
  folk
• 28:21
  hero.
• 28:22
  People
• 28:22
  look
• 28:22
  up
• 28:23
  to
• 28:23
  him.
• 28:23
  Him
• 28:23
  and
• 28:23
  Obi
• 28:24
  Wan
• 28:24
  really
• 28:25
  bond
• 28:25
  as
• 28:25
  brothers
• 28:26
  because
• 28:26
  they're
• 28:26
  fighting
• 28:26
  this
• 28:26
  war
• 28:27
  on
• 28:27
  all
• 28:27
  front.
• 28:29
  But
• 28:29
  he's
• 28:29
  denied
• 28:30
  Jedi
• 28:30
  Master
• 28:31
  and
• 28:31
  then
• 28:31
  not
• 28:32
  getting
• 28:32
  that
• 28:32
  promotion,
• 28:33
  John,
• 28:33
  like
• 28:33
  you
• 28:33
  said.
• 28:33
  And
• 28:34
  also
• 28:34
  his
• 28:34
  love
• 28:34
  for
• 28:34
  Padme,
• 28:35
  keeping
• 28:35
  that
• 28:35
  a
• 28:35
  secret,
• 28:36
  man,
• 28:37
  it
• 28:37
  just
• 28:37
  starts
• 28:38
  spiraling
• 28:38
  and
• 28:38
  goes
• 28:38
  out
• 28:38
  of
• 28:39
  hand.
• 28:39
  And
• 28:39
  we
• 28:39
  know
• 28:39
  why
• 28:40
  and
• 28:40
  how
• 28:40
  he
• 28:40
  turned
• 28:41
  to
• 28:41
  the
• 28:41
  dark
• 28:41
  side,
• 28:41
  which
• 28:42
  is,
• 28:42
  you
• 28:43
  know,
• 28:43
  maybe
• 28:43
  there
• 28:44
  could
• 28:44
  have
• 28:44
  been
• 28:44
  more
• 28:44
  love
• 28:44
  and
• 28:45
  care
• 28:45
  and
• 28:45
  understanding
• 28:46
  with
• 28:46
  this
• 28:46
  committee
• 28:48
  that
• 28:48
  kind
• 28:48
  of
• 28:48
  helped
• 28:48
  him
• 28:49
  along
• 28:49
  the
• 28:49
  way.
• 28:50
  And
• 28:50
  also,
• 28:50
  like,
• 28:51
  you
• 28:51
  know,
• 28:51
  my
• 28:51
  avatar
• 28:52
  for
• 28:52
  this
• 28:52
  show
• 28:53
  is
• 28:53
  Kanan
• 28:53
  from
• 28:54
  Star
• 28:54
  Wars
• 28:54
  Rebels.
• 28:54
  And,
• 28:55
  you
• 28:55
  know,
• 28:55
  and
• 28:55
  he's
• 28:56
  a
• 28:56
  perfect
• 28:56
  example
• 28:57
  of
• 28:57
  someone
• 28:57
  who.
• 28:58
  He
• 28:58
  had
• 28:58
  an
• 28:59
  open
• 28:59
  relationship
• 29:00
  with
• 29:00
  Hera.
• 29:01
  He
• 29:01
  loved
• 29:01
  her.
• 29:01
  They
• 29:02
  loved
• 29:02
  each
• 29:02
  other,
• 29:02
  and
• 29:03
  he
• 29:03
  never
• 29:04
  turned
• 29:04
  to
• 29:04
  the
• 29:04
  Dark
• 29:04
  side.
• 29:04
  Like,
• 29:05
  he
• 29:05
  was
• 29:05
  very.
• 29:05
  Like,
• 29:05
  he
• 29:06
  showed
• 29:06
  what
• 29:06
  the
• 29:07
  Jedi
• 29:07
  could
• 29:07
  be
• 29:07
  if
• 29:07
  they
• 29:08
  evolved.
• 29:08
  And,
• 29:09
  you
• 29:09
  know,
• 29:09
  he
• 29:09
  grew
• 29:10
  up
• 29:10
  in
• 29:10
  a
• 29:11
  post.
• 29:11
  You
• 29:11
  know,
• 29:12
  he
• 29:12
  was
• 29:12
  a
• 29:12
  survivor
• 29:13
  of
• 29:13
  order
• 29:13
  66
• 29:13
  and
• 29:14
  grew
• 29:14
  up
• 29:15
  in
• 29:15
  the
• 29:15
  wake
• 29:15
  of
• 29:15
  that.
• 29:16
  And,
• 29:16
  I
• 29:16
  mean,
• 29:16
  you
• 29:16
  know,
• 29:17
  he
• 29:17
  was
• 29:17
  in
• 29:17
  hiding
• 29:18
  for
• 29:18
  a
• 29:18
  long
• 29:18
  time,
• 29:18
  and
• 29:18
  then
• 29:19
  eventually
• 29:20
  kind
• 29:20
  of,
• 29:20
  you
• 29:20
  know,
• 29:21
  came
• 29:21
  into
• 29:21
  his
• 29:22
  identity
• 29:22
  and
• 29:23
  became
• 29:24
  a
• 29:24
  mentor
• 29:24
  figure
• 29:25
  to
• 29:25
  Ezra.
• 29:26
  And
• 29:27
  so
• 29:27
  obviously,
• 29:27
  at
• 29:27
  that
• 29:28
  point,
• 29:28
  the
• 29:28
  Jedi
• 29:28
  Council
• 29:29
  had
• 29:29
  been
• 29:29
  extinct,
• 29:30
  but
• 29:31
  he
• 29:31
  was
• 29:31
  able
• 29:32
  to
• 29:33
  find
• 29:33
  a
• 29:33
  path
• 29:34
  forward
• 29:34
  where
• 29:34
  he
• 29:34
  could
• 29:35
  still
• 29:35
  emulate
• 29:36
  the
• 29:36
  ways
• 29:36
  of
• 29:36
  the
• 29:36
  Jedi
• 29:37
  and
• 29:37
  carve
• 29:37
  out
• 29:37
  a
• 29:37
  path
• 29:38
  for
• 29:38
  himself
• 29:38
  and
• 29:39
  still.
• 29:39
  Yeah,
• 29:40
  be
• 29:40
  someone
• 29:40
  who
• 29:41
  loved
• 29:41
  someone.
• 29:41
  He
• 29:42
  had
• 29:42
  attachments,
• 29:42
  and
• 29:43
  he
• 29:43
  didn't
• 29:44
  allow
• 29:44
  those
• 29:44
  things
• 29:44
  to
• 29:45
  corrupt
• 29:45
  him
• 29:45
  in.
• 29:45
  In
• 29:46
  ways
• 29:46
  they
• 29:46
  strengthened
• 29:47
  him.
• 31:00
  Yeah.
• 31:01
  And
• 31:01
  then,
• 31:01
  all
• 31:01
  right,
• 31:02
  eventually
• 31:02
  you
• 31:02
  get,
• 31:03
  you
• 31:03
  know,
• 31:03
  Anakin's
• 31:04
  story.
• 31:04
  You
• 31:04
  know,
• 31:04
  he
• 31:04
  turns
• 31:04
  to
• 31:04
  Darth
• 31:05
  Vader.
• 31:05
  But
• 31:05
  then
• 31:05
  in
• 31:06
  2008,
• 31:06
  the
• 31:06
  Clone
• 31:07
  wars
• 31:07
  animated
• 31:07
  movie
• 31:08
  hits
• 31:08
  the
• 31:08
  theaters
• 31:09
  and
• 31:10
  has
• 31:10
  mixed
• 31:11
  reviews.
• 31:11
  And,
• 31:13
  you
• 31:13
  know,
• 31:14
  they
• 31:14
  introduce
• 31:15
  a
• 31:15
  new
• 31:15
  character,
• 31:16
  a
• 31:16
  Padawan
• 31:16
  learner
• 31:17
  called
• 31:17
  Ahsoka
• 31:18
  Tano
• 31:19
  that
• 31:19
  is
• 31:19
  a.
• 31:19
  That
• 31:20
  is
• 31:20
  a
• 31:20
  Padawan
• 31:21
  to.
• 31:21
  To
• 31:22
  Anakin
• 31:22
  Skywalker.
• 31:23
  And
• 31:23
  the
• 31:23
  world
• 31:23
  flips
• 31:23
  out.
• 31:23
  They're
• 31:24
  like,
• 31:24
  wait
• 31:24
  a
• 31:24
  minute.
• 31:24
  She
• 31:25
  doesn't
• 31:25
  show
• 31:25
  up
• 31:25
  in
• 31:25
  episode
• 31:26
  three.
• 31:26
  She
• 31:27
  doesn't
• 31:27
  show.
• 31:27
  We
• 31:27
  don't
• 31:27
  hear
• 31:28
  about
• 31:28
  any
• 31:28
  of
• 31:29
  these.
• 31:30
  Her
• 31:30
  anywhere.
• 31:30
  Then
• 31:31
  why
• 31:31
  are
• 31:31
  you
• 31:31
  introducing
• 31:31
  this
• 31:32
  character?
• 31:32
  But,
• 31:33
  you
• 31:33
  know,
• 31:33
  they
• 31:33
  introduce
• 31:33
  his
• 31:34
  character,
• 31:34
  and
• 31:34
  eventually,
• 31:34
  you
• 31:34
  know,
• 31:35
  the
• 31:35
  way
• 31:35
  she's
• 31:35
  going
• 31:35
  to
• 31:35
  go
• 31:35
  off
• 31:36
  grid,
• 31:36
  she's
• 31:36
  not
• 31:36
  going
• 31:37
  to
• 31:37
  show
• 31:37
  up
• 31:37
  in
• 31:37
  any
• 31:37
  of
• 31:37
  the
• 31:37
  movies.
• 31:38
  So
• 31:38
  how.
• 31:38
  How
• 31:39
  does
• 31:39
  she
• 31:39
  not
• 31:40
  show
• 31:40
  up
• 31:40
  in
• 31:40
  these
• 31:41
  movies?
• 31:41
  What
• 31:41
  happens
• 31:41
  to
• 31:41
  her?
• 31:42
  Does
• 31:42
  she
• 31:42
  die?
• 31:43
  Does
• 31:43
  she.
• 31:43
  You
• 31:44
  know,
• 31:44
  what
• 31:44
  you
• 31:44
  think
• 31:45
  of
• 31:45
  it?
• 31:46
  People
• 31:47
  are
• 31:47
  imagining.
• 31:47
  They
• 31:47
  can't
• 31:48
  imagine
• 31:48
  him
• 31:48
  having
• 31:48
  a
• 31:48
  pattern
• 31:49
  because
• 31:49
  we
• 31:49
  never
• 31:49
  heard
• 31:49
  that
• 31:49
  before.
• 31:50
  John,
• 31:50
  as
• 31:51
  you
• 31:51
  or
• 31:51
  were
• 31:52
  introduced
• 31:52
  to
• 31:52
  Ahsoka,
• 31:54
  eventually
• 31:54
  following
• 31:54
  her
• 31:55
  storyline
• 31:55
  into
• 31:56
  the
• 31:56
  Clone
• 31:56
  Wars.
• 31:57
  Well,
• 31:57
  we
• 31:57
  find
• 31:57
  out
• 31:57
  later
• 31:58
  on
• 31:59
  why
• 31:59
  she
• 32:00
  doesn't
• 32:00
  show
• 32:00
  up
• 32:00
  in
• 32:00
  the
• 32:00
  third
• 32:01
  movie.
• 32:01
  John,
• 32:01
  enlighteness
• 32:02
  when
• 32:03
  it
• 32:03
  comes
• 32:03
  to
• 32:03
  the
• 32:03
  Clone
• 32:03
  wars
• 32:04
  and
• 32:04
  the
• 32:04
  Animated
• 32:04
  Series.
• 32:05
  Did
• 32:05
  you
• 32:05
  follow.
• 32:06
  Did
• 32:06
  you
• 32:06
  follow
• 32:06
  it
• 32:06
  week
• 32:06
  to
• 32:07
  week?
• 32:07
  Was
• 32:07
  this
• 32:07
  a
• 32:07
  cartoon
• 32:08
  that
• 32:08
  you
• 32:08
  were
• 32:08
  like,
• 32:08
  you
• 32:08
  were
• 32:08
  locked
• 32:09
  in
• 32:09
  the
• 32:09
  whole
• 32:09
  time,
• 32:10
  the
• 32:10
  whole
• 32:10
  journey.
• 32:11
  My
• 32:11
  first
• 32:12
  animated
• 32:12
  Star
• 32:13
  wars
• 32:13
  show
• 32:13
  that
• 32:13
  I
• 32:13
  watched.
• 32:13
  Well,
• 32:14
  I'm
• 32:14
  not
• 32:15
  including
• 32:15
  the
• 32:15
  very
• 32:16
  brief
• 32:17
  Gendy
• 32:17
  Tartakovsky
• 32:19
  animated
• 32:20
  shorts.
• 32:20
  You
• 32:21
  know,
• 32:21
  the
• 32:21
  Dexter's
• 32:21
  Lab
• 32:21
  creator.
• 32:22
  When
• 32:23
  someone
• 32:23
  talked
• 32:23
  about
• 32:24
  Clone
• 32:24
  Wars,
• 32:24
  I
• 32:24
  was
• 32:24
  like,
• 32:24
  what
• 32:25
  do
• 32:25
  you
• 32:25
  mean?
• 32:25
  That
• 32:25
  little
• 32:25
  Animated
• 32:26
  series?
• 32:26
  No,
• 32:26
  I
• 32:26
  didn't
• 32:27
  know.
• 32:27
  There
• 32:27
  was
• 32:27
  a
• 32:27
  whole
• 32:28
  show
• 32:28
  that
• 32:29
  was.
• 32:30
  That
• 32:30
  was
• 32:30
  CGI
• 32:31
  that
• 32:31
  was
• 32:31
  created.
• 32:31
  So
• 32:32
  my
• 32:32
  first
• 32:32
  animated
• 32:33
  show
• 32:33
  I
• 32:33
  watched
• 32:33
  was
• 32:33
  actually
• 32:34
  Rebels,
• 32:35
  which
• 32:35
  got
• 32:35
  me
• 32:35
  interested
• 32:36
  in
• 32:36
  Clone
• 32:37
  wars
• 32:37
  and
• 32:37
  Then
• 32:37
  I
• 32:37
  watched
• 32:38
  Clone
• 32:38
  wars
• 32:38
  after
• 32:39
  Rebels,
• 32:39
  so
• 32:39
  I
• 32:39
  already
• 32:39
  had
• 32:40
  a
• 32:40
  couple
• 32:40
  of
• 32:40
  spoilers
• 32:41
  of
• 32:41
  what
• 32:41
  was.
• 32:42
  What
• 32:42
  was
• 32:42
  going
• 32:42
  on.
• 32:42
  But
• 32:44
  Clone
• 32:44
  wars
• 32:44
  show,
• 32:45
  that's
• 32:45
  probably
• 32:45
  my.
• 32:46
  My
• 32:46
  two
• 32:46
  favorite
• 32:47
  arcs
• 32:47
  are,
• 32:47
  of
• 32:47
  course,
• 32:48
  the
• 32:48
  father,
• 32:48
  son,
• 32:48
  and
• 32:48
  daughter,
• 32:49
  but
• 32:49
  also
• 32:49
  the.
• 32:50
  The.
• 32:51
  The
• 32:51
  Council
• 32:52
  where
• 32:52
  Ahsoka
• 32:53
  quits
• 32:53
  the
• 32:54
  Jedi
• 32:54
  Order.
• 32:54
  That's,
• 32:55
  like,
• 32:55
  the
• 32:55
  meatiest
• 32:56
  part
• 32:56
  of
• 32:57
  the
• 32:57
  whole
• 32:57
  series.
• 32:57
  And
• 32:58
  it
• 32:58
  also
• 32:58
  understandably
• 32:59
  why.
• 33:00
  Another
• 33:00
  reason
• 33:00
  why
• 33:00
  Anakin
• 33:01
  breaks
• 33:01
  with
• 33:01
  the
• 33:01
  Council.
• 33:02
  He's
• 33:02
  just
• 33:02
  like,
• 33:02
  these
• 33:02
  guys
• 33:03
  are
• 33:03
  just
• 33:03
  a
• 33:03
  bunch
• 33:03
  of
• 33:03
  idiots.
• 33:05
  You
• 33:05
  know,
• 33:05
  like,
• 33:06
  in
• 33:06
  the.
• 33:07
  In
• 33:07
  the
• 33:07
  reason,
• 33:07
  and
• 33:07
  I
• 33:07
  guess
• 33:08
  I'll
• 33:08
  give
• 33:08
  a
• 33:08
  brief
• 33:08
  summary
• 33:08
  for
• 33:09
  the.
• 33:09
  For
• 33:09
  the
• 33:10
  listeners,
• 33:10
  is
• 33:10
  that
• 33:11
  basically,
• 33:11
  she
• 33:11
  was
• 33:12
  accused
• 33:12
  of
• 33:12
  a
• 33:12
  crime
• 33:13
  that
• 33:14
  she
• 33:14
  didn't
• 33:14
  commit,
• 33:15
  and
• 33:15
  they
• 33:16
  were
• 33:16
  ready
• 33:16
  to
• 33:16
  sentence
• 33:17
  her.
• 33:17
  They
• 33:17
  were
• 33:17
  ready
• 33:18
  to,
• 33:18
  you
• 33:18
  know,
• 33:19
  have
• 33:19
  her
• 33:19
  strung,
• 33:20
  you
• 33:20
  know,
• 33:21
  but,
• 33:21
  you
• 33:22
  know,
• 33:22
  she.
• 33:22
  It
• 33:22
  was
• 33:23
  someone
• 33:23
  else
• 33:24
  from
• 33:24
  within
• 33:24
  their
• 33:24
  order
• 33:24
  who
• 33:25
  was
• 33:25
  corrupted
• 33:25
  by
• 33:25
  the
• 33:25
  dark
• 33:26
  side.
• 33:27
  Boris.
• 33:28
  I'm
• 33:28
  not.
• 33:29
  Boris,
• 33:29
  is
• 33:29
  it.
• 33:30
  I
• 33:30
  can't
• 33:30
  remember
• 33:31
  her
• 33:31
  name.
• 33:31
  Gosh
• 33:31
  dang
• 33:32
  it.
• 33:32
  But
• 33:33
  it
• 33:33
  was
• 33:33
  Barris.
• 33:34
  You
• 33:34
  talking
• 33:34
  about
• 33:34
  Framed
• 33:35
  by
• 33:35
  Paris?
• 33:35
  Yeah.
• 33:35
  Yes.
• 33:36
  Yep.
• 33:36
  Yes.
• 33:37
  I
• 33:37
  rewatched
• 33:37
  it.
• 33:37
  That's
• 33:38
  why
• 33:38
  it's
• 33:38
  nice.
• 33:38
  Yeah,
• 33:39
  yeah,
• 33:39
  yeah.
• 33:39
  You
• 33:39
  got
• 33:39
  to
• 33:39
  be
• 33:40
  right.
• 33:40
  But.
• 33:41
  But
• 33:42
  basically,
• 33:42
  it
• 33:42
  was
• 33:43
  someone
• 33:43
  else
• 33:43
  was
• 33:43
  corrupted
• 33:44
  and
• 33:44
  trying
• 33:44
  to
• 33:44
  frame
• 33:45
  her
• 33:45
  to
• 33:46
  look
• 33:46
  like
• 33:46
  she
• 33:46
  was
• 33:47
  doing
• 33:47
  some
• 33:47
  bad
• 33:48
  stuff,
• 33:48
  and
• 33:48
  the
• 33:49
  Jedi
• 33:49
  Council
• 33:49
  didn't
• 33:50
  see
• 33:50
  through
• 33:50
  it.
• 33:50
  The
• 33:50
  only
• 33:50
  person
• 33:50
  who
• 33:51
  believed
• 33:51
  in
• 33:51
  her
• 33:51
  was
• 33:51
  Anakin,
• 33:52
  which
• 33:52
  was
• 33:53
  her
• 33:53
  master
• 33:53
  at
• 33:54
  the
• 33:54
  time.
• 33:54
  And
• 33:55
  she's
• 33:55
  like,
• 33:55
  I
• 33:56
  didn't
• 33:56
  do
• 33:56
  this,
• 33:57
  and
• 33:57
  y'
• 33:58
  all
• 33:58
  aren't
• 33:58
  gonna
• 33:58
  arrest
• 33:58
  me
• 33:59
  for
• 33:59
  it.
• 33:59
  And
• 33:59
  so
• 33:59
  she
• 34:00
  went,
• 34:00
  you
• 34:00
  know,
• 34:00
  into
• 34:00
  hiding
• 34:01
  and
• 34:01
  running.
• 34:01
  And
• 34:02
  then
• 34:02
  after
• 34:02
  it
• 34:02
  all
• 34:02
  came
• 34:03
  out,
• 34:03
  that
• 34:03
  Barris
• 34:03
  Offee,
• 34:04
  I
• 34:04
  think
• 34:04
  her
• 34:04
  name
• 34:04
  is,
• 34:05
  was
• 34:05
  the
• 34:05
  one
• 34:05
  who
• 34:05
  was
• 34:05
  secretly
• 34:06
  behind
• 34:06
  all
• 34:06
  this.
• 34:07
  This
• 34:07
  bad
• 34:07
  crap
• 34:08
  and
• 34:08
  killing
• 34:08
  clones
• 34:09
  and
• 34:09
  stuff
• 34:09
  that
• 34:10
  I
• 34:10
  think
• 34:10
  it
• 34:10
  was.
• 34:10
  Yeah,
• 34:11
  it
• 34:11
  was
• 34:11
  like
• 34:11
  killing
• 34:11
  a
• 34:11
  prisoner
• 34:12
  or
• 34:12
  something
• 34:12
  that
• 34:12
  they.
• 34:13
  That.
• 34:14
  That
• 34:14
  she
• 34:14
  was
• 34:14
  framed
• 34:15
  to
• 34:15
  do.
• 34:16
  Ahsoka
• 34:17
  was
• 34:17
  like,
• 34:17
  y'
• 34:17
  all
• 34:17
  were
• 34:18
  ready
• 34:18
  to
• 34:18
  string
• 34:18
  me
• 34:18
  up
• 34:19
  and
• 34:19
  put
• 34:19
  me
• 34:19
  in
• 34:19
  prison
• 34:19
  for
• 34:20
  the
• 34:20
  rest
• 34:20
  of
• 34:20
  my
• 34:20
  life
• 34:21
  over
• 34:21
  something
• 34:21
  I
• 34:22
  didn't
• 34:22
  do.
• 34:22
  And
• 34:22
  y'
• 34:22
  all
• 34:22
  didn't
• 34:23
  believe
• 34:23
  me,
• 34:24
  you
• 34:24
  know.
• 34:24
  You
• 34:25
  know,
• 34:25
  screw
• 34:25
  you
• 34:25
  guys.
• 34:25
  I'm
• 34:26
  going
• 34:26
  home.
• 34:26
  And
• 34:26
  then
• 34:28
  Anakin
• 34:28
  was
• 34:29
  like,
• 34:29
  you
• 34:29
  guys
• 34:29
  didn't
• 34:29
  believe
• 34:30
  her,
• 34:30
  and
• 34:30
  he
• 34:30
  was
• 34:30
  really
• 34:30
  mad
• 34:31
  at
• 34:31
  the
• 34:31
  council,
• 34:31
  and
• 34:31
  I
• 34:31
  thought
• 34:32
  it
• 34:32
  was
• 34:32
  just.
• 34:32
  Just
• 34:33
  icing
• 34:33
  on
• 34:33
  the
• 34:33
  cake.
• 34:33
  The
• 34:34
  council,
• 34:35
  like,
• 34:35
  Yoda
• 34:35
  was
• 34:35
  like,
• 34:36
  we're
• 34:36
  gonna
• 34:37
  give
• 34:37
  you
• 34:37
  a
• 34:37
  promotion.
• 34:38
  Like,
• 34:39
  you
• 34:39
  can
• 34:39
  be
• 34:39
  Jedi
• 34:40
  Knight.
• 34:40
  And
• 34:40
  then
• 34:41
  she's
• 34:41
  just
• 34:41
  like,
• 34:41
  no,
• 34:41
  I
• 34:42
  don't
• 34:42
  want
• 34:42
  your
• 34:42
  promotion.
• 34:43
  Yeah,
• 34:44
  yeah,
• 34:45
  now
• 34:46
  we
• 34:46
  exonerated
• 34:47
  you,
• 34:47
  and
• 34:47
  now
• 34:48
  give
• 34:48
  you.
• 34:48
  Give
• 34:48
  you
• 34:49
  a
• 34:50
  step
• 34:50
  up
• 34:50
  and
• 34:51
  I,
• 34:51
  I
• 34:51
  like.
• 34:52
  Yeah,
• 34:52
  what
• 34:52
  you.
• 34:53
  I,
• 34:53
  I
• 34:53
  love.
• 34:54
  It's
• 34:54
  brilliant
• 34:54
  storytelling
• 34:55
  in
• 34:55
  a
• 34:55
  sense
• 34:55
  of,
• 34:55
  of
• 34:56
  all
• 34:56
  the
• 34:56
  things
• 34:56
  like
• 34:57
  you
• 34:57
  could
• 34:57
  kill
• 34:57
  her
• 34:57
  off,
• 34:58
  she
• 34:58
  could
• 34:58
  turn
• 34:58
  to
• 34:58
  the
• 34:59
  dark
• 34:59
  side.
• 34:59
  She
• 34:59
  could
• 34:59
  go.
• 34:59
  And
• 35:00
  I.
• 35:00
  There's
• 35:00
  different
• 35:00
  things.
• 35:01
  But
• 35:01
  to,
• 35:01
  to
• 35:01
  kind
• 35:02
  of
• 35:02
  pile
• 35:02
  on
• 35:03
  this
• 35:03
  Jedi
• 35:04
  Council
• 35:04
  that
• 35:05
  was
• 35:05
  making,
• 35:05
  you
• 35:06
  know,
• 35:07
  bad
• 35:07
  decisions
• 35:08
  when
• 35:08
  it
• 35:08
  came
• 35:08
  to
• 35:08
  Anakin.
• 35:09
  Also
• 35:09
  now
• 35:09
  to
• 35:10
  Ahsoka.
• 35:10
  And
• 35:10
  you
• 35:10
  see
• 35:10
  their
• 35:11
  flaw
• 35:11
  and
• 35:11
  why.
• 35:12
  Just
• 35:12
  why
• 35:13
  Palpatine
• 35:13
  had
• 35:13
  a.
• 35:14
  Had
• 35:14
  an
• 35:14
  easy
• 35:14
  time
• 35:15
  or
• 35:15
  not
• 35:15
  easy
• 35:15
  time,
• 35:15
  but
• 35:15
  why
• 35:16
  he
• 35:16
  was
• 35:16
  successful
• 35:16
  in
• 35:17
  taking
• 35:17
  down
• 35:18
  the
• 35:18
  Order.
• 35:18
  This
• 35:18
  is
• 35:18
  another
• 35:19
  example
• 35:20
  of,
• 35:20
  of
• 35:21
  how
• 35:22
  they
• 35:22
  were
• 35:23
  really
• 35:23
  falling
• 35:23
  apart
• 35:24
  and,
• 35:24
  and
• 35:24
  all
• 35:24
  those
• 35:24
  things.
• 35:25
  And
• 35:25
  I
• 35:25
  think
• 35:25
  also
• 35:25
  in
• 35:26
  that
• 35:26
  we
• 35:26
  see
• 35:26
  Admiral
• 35:27
  Tarkin
• 35:28
  for
• 35:28
  the
• 35:28
  first
• 35:28
  time
• 35:28
  in
• 35:28
  animated
• 35:29
  series.
• 35:29
  Like,
• 35:29
  they
• 35:29
  show
• 35:30
  his
• 35:30
  hologram
• 35:30
  and
• 35:31
  he's
• 35:31
  like,
• 35:31
  oh,
• 35:31
  I
• 35:31
  need
• 35:32
  to.
• 35:32
  So
• 35:32
  here
• 35:32
  are
• 35:33
  these
• 35:33
  villains
• 35:33
  from
• 35:33
  the
• 35:33
  original
• 35:34
  movie
• 35:35
  coming
• 35:35
  back
• 35:35
  and,
• 35:36
  and
• 35:36
  playing
• 35:37
  cameos.
• 35:37
  To
• 35:38
  say,
• 35:38
  like,
• 35:38
  yeah,
• 35:39
  it's
• 35:39
  not
• 35:39
  going
• 35:39
  to
• 35:39
  go
• 35:39
  well.
• 35:39
  We
• 35:40
  know
• 35:40
  how
• 35:40
  they're
• 35:40
  kind
• 35:40
  of
• 35:40
  rise
• 35:41
  to
• 35:41
  the
• 35:41
  top.
• 35:41
  But
• 35:42
  yeah,
• 35:42
  that
• 35:42
  being
• 35:42
  framed
• 35:43
  and
• 35:43
  then
• 35:43
  being
• 35:44
  exonerated
• 35:44
  and
• 35:45
  then
• 35:45
  saying,
• 35:45
  oh,
• 35:45
  we
• 35:45
  welcome
• 35:46
  you
• 35:46
  back.
• 35:46
  And
• 35:46
  then
• 35:46
  of
• 35:46
  course,
• 35:47
  she
• 35:47
  would
• 35:47
  say,
• 35:47
  like,
• 35:47
  nope,
• 35:48
  I'm
• 35:48
  going
• 35:48
  on
• 35:48
  my
• 35:48
  way.
• 35:49
  And
• 35:49
  she
• 35:49
  eventually
• 35:49
  becomes
• 35:50
  kind
• 35:50
  of
• 35:50
  a
• 35:50
  gray
• 35:51
  Jedi.
• 35:51
  She's
• 35:51
  not
• 35:52
  affiliated.
• 35:52
  She
• 35:53
  is
• 35:53
  spiritual,
• 35:53
  but
• 35:53
  not
• 35:54
  religious.
• 35:54
  She
• 35:54
  is.
• 35:55
  She
• 35:56
  has
• 35:56
  a
• 35:56
  white
• 35:56
  lightsaber
• 35:58
  on,
• 35:58
  uncolored,
• 35:59
  you
• 35:59
  know,
• 36:00
  lightsaber.
• 36:00
  She's
• 36:00
  not
• 36:01
  a
• 36:01
  Jedi
• 36:01
  color.
• 36:01
  It's
• 36:01
  not
• 36:01
  a
• 36:02
  Sith
• 36:02
  color.
• 36:02
  She's.
• 36:02
  She's
• 36:03
  down
• 36:03
  the
• 36:03
  middle.
• 36:03
  And
• 36:03
  so
• 36:04
  eventually
• 36:04
  her
• 36:04
  story
• 36:04
  comes
• 36:04
  back
• 36:05
  up
• 36:05
  in
• 36:05
  Rebels
• 36:05
  and
• 36:06
  has
• 36:06
  her
• 36:06
  own
• 36:06
  show
• 36:06
  and
• 36:06
  had
• 36:07
  all
• 36:07
  that
• 36:07
  stuff.
• 36:07
  But
• 36:08
  I
• 36:08
  think
• 36:08
  this
• 36:08
  beloved
• 36:09
  character
• 36:09
  that
• 36:09
  started
• 36:09
  off
• 36:10
  just
• 36:10
  people
• 36:10
  questioning
• 36:11
  and
• 36:11
  second
• 36:12
  guessing
• 36:12
  and
• 36:12
  why
• 36:12
  is
• 36:13
  she
• 36:13
  even
• 36:13
  in
• 36:13
  there?
• 36:13
  She's
• 36:14
  annoying,
• 36:14
  she's
• 36:14
  a
• 36:14
  kid,
• 36:14
  but
• 36:15
  becomes
• 36:15
  one
• 36:15
  of
• 36:15
  the
• 36:16
  most
• 36:16
  beloved
• 36:16
  characters
• 36:16
  in
• 36:17
  all
• 36:17
  of
• 36:17
  Star
• 36:17
  Wars.
• 36:17
  And
• 36:18
  then
• 36:18
  her
• 36:18
  relationship
• 36:19
  to
• 36:19
  the
• 36:19
  organized
• 36:20
  religion
• 36:20
  of
• 36:21
  Jediism
• 36:22
  is
• 36:22
  really
• 36:23
  a
• 36:23
  part
• 36:23
  of
• 36:24
  Anakin's
• 36:25
  fall
• 36:25
  as
• 36:25
  well.
• 36:25
  So
• 36:25
  it
• 36:25
  does
• 36:26
  influence
• 36:26
  kind
• 36:26
  of
• 36:27
  the
• 36:27
  way
• 36:28
  of
• 36:28
  the
• 36:28
  Force.
• 36:28
  And
• 36:29
  now
• 36:29
  we
• 36:29
  have
• 36:30
  her
• 36:31
  perhaps
• 36:31
  training
• 36:32
  and
• 36:32
  helping
• 36:33
  out
• 36:34
  baby
• 36:34
  Grogu.
• 36:35
  So
• 36:36
  her
• 36:36
  wisdom
• 36:37
  being
• 36:37
  passed
• 36:38
  on
• 36:38
  to
• 36:38
  having
• 36:39
  a
• 36:39
  relationship
• 36:40
  to
• 36:40
  the
• 36:40
  next
• 36:40
  generation
• 36:40
  of
• 36:41
  Jedi
• 36:41
  to
• 36:41
  see
• 36:41
  how
• 36:41
  that
• 36:42
  plays
• 36:42
  out
• 36:42
  is
• 36:42
  interesting
• 36:43
  to
• 36:43
  me.
• 36:43
  Kevin,
• 36:44
  you
• 36:44
  watch
• 36:44
  this
• 36:44
  unfold
• 36:44
  out
• 36:45
  too,
• 36:45
  in
• 36:45
  terms
• 36:45
  of
• 36:45
  their
• 36:46
  Jedi's
• 36:47
  Council's
• 36:48
  relationship
• 36:48
  to
• 36:48
  Ahsoka.
• 36:49
  What
• 36:49
  else?
• 36:49
  What
• 36:50
  else
• 36:50
  you
• 36:50
  got
• 36:50
  to
• 36:50
  add
• 36:50
  there?
• 36:51
  Yeah,
• 36:52
  I
• 36:52
  mean,
• 36:52
  well,
• 36:52
  also
• 36:53
  just
• 36:53
  a
• 36:54
  footnote
• 36:54
  too.
• 36:54
  When
• 36:55
  the
• 36:55
  Clone
• 36:56
  wars
• 36:56
  movie
• 36:57
  first
• 36:57
  came
• 36:57
  out,
• 36:57
  yeah,
• 36:57
  I
• 36:57
  saw
• 36:58
  it
• 36:58
  in
• 36:58
  theaters
• 36:58
  and
• 36:59
  I
• 36:59
  didn't
• 37:00
  dislike
• 37:00
  the
• 37:00
  care.
• 37:01
  I
• 37:01
  actually
• 37:01
  quite
• 37:01
  liked
• 37:02
  the
• 37:02
  character
• 37:02
  early
• 37:02
  on.
• 37:02
  I
• 37:02
  thought
• 37:03
  it
• 37:03
  was
• 37:03
  interesting,
• 37:03
  but
• 37:03
  I
• 37:04
  was
• 37:04
  so
• 37:04
  afraid
• 37:05
  that.
• 37:06
  That
• 37:06
  because
• 37:06
  of
• 37:06
  all
• 37:07
  the
• 37:07
  things
• 37:07
  you
• 37:07
  just
• 37:07
  said,
• 37:07
  I
• 37:07
  was
• 37:08
  like,
• 37:08
  well,
• 37:08
  are
• 37:08
  they
• 37:09
  just
• 37:09
  gonna
• 37:09
  kill
• 37:09
  her
• 37:09
  off?
• 37:09
  Like,
• 37:10
  because
• 37:10
  I'm
• 37:10
  like,
• 37:10
  she's
• 37:11
  not
• 37:11
  intervened
• 37:11
  to
• 37:11
  the
• 37:11
  Sith.
• 37:12
  So
• 37:12
  I
• 37:12
  was
• 37:12
  like,
• 37:12
  is
• 37:12
  this
• 37:13
  just
• 37:13
  gonna
• 37:13
  be
• 37:13
  a,
• 37:14
  like,
• 37:14
  mini
• 37:14
  footnote?
• 37:15
  And
• 37:15
  maybe
• 37:15
  that
• 37:15
  adds
• 37:16
  to
• 37:16
  the
• 37:16
  tragedy?
• 37:16
  And
• 37:16
  I'm
• 37:17
  really
• 37:17
  glad
• 37:17
  I
• 37:17
  was
• 37:17
  wrong
• 37:18
  there,
• 37:18
  because
• 37:18
  it
• 37:19
  played
• 37:19
  out
• 37:19
  as
• 37:19
  just
• 37:19
  this,
• 37:20
  one
• 37:20
  of
• 37:20
  the
• 37:20
  most
• 37:20
  compelling
• 37:21
  arcs
• 37:21
  for
• 37:22
  any
• 37:22
  Star
• 37:22
  wars
• 37:22
  character.
• 37:23
  And
• 37:23
  I
• 37:23
  mean,
• 37:23
  I
• 37:23
  have
• 37:23
  an
• 37:24
  Ahsoka
• 37:24
  keychain
• 37:25
  on
• 37:25
  my
• 37:25
  wheelchair,
• 37:25
  so
• 37:26
  I,
• 37:26
  you
• 37:26
  know,
• 37:26
  I.
• 37:26
  I
• 37:27
  showed
• 37:27
  that
• 37:27
  to
• 37:27
  Ashley
• 37:28
  Eckstein
• 37:29
  when
• 37:29
  I
• 37:29
  met
• 37:29
  her
• 37:30
  one
• 37:30
  time.
• 37:31
  Nice.
• 37:31
  But.
• 37:32
  Yeah,
• 37:32
  but.
• 37:33
  But
• 37:33
  no,
• 37:33
  I
• 37:33
  mean,
• 37:33
  there
• 37:33
  is.
• 37:34
  It's.
• 37:34
  It's
• 37:35
  one
• 37:35
  of
• 37:35
  the
• 37:35
  most
• 37:35
  fascinating
• 37:35
  arts
• 37:36
  and
• 37:36
  it
• 37:36
  raises
• 37:37
  so
• 37:37
  many
• 37:37
  what
• 37:37
  if
• 37:38
  questions,
• 37:38
  because,
• 37:40
  yeah,
• 37:40
  another
• 37:40
  part
• 37:41
  of
• 37:41
  Ahsoka's
• 37:42
  story
• 37:42
  in
• 37:42
  Clone
• 37:42
  wars
• 37:43
  is,
• 37:43
  yeah,
• 37:43
  she
• 37:43
  leaves
• 37:44
  and
• 37:44
  then
• 37:44
  comes
• 37:44
  back,
• 37:44
  but
• 37:45
  then
• 37:46
  at
• 37:46
  the
• 37:46
  very
• 37:46
  end
• 37:47
  of
• 37:47
  the
• 37:47
  series,
• 37:48
  she's
• 37:49
  on
• 37:49
  Mandalore
• 37:50
  and
• 37:52
  she's
• 37:53
  caught
• 37:53
  up
• 37:53
  in
• 37:54
  that
• 37:54
  war
• 37:54
  and
• 37:55
  faces
• 37:56
  off
• 37:56
  with
• 37:56
  Maul
• 37:57
  for
• 37:58
  the
• 37:58
  first
• 37:58
  time.
• 37:59
  While
• 38:00
  all
• 38:00
  this
• 38:00
  is
• 38:01
  happening,
• 38:01
  everything
• 38:02
  is
• 38:03
  happening
• 38:03
  on
• 38:03
  Coruscant
• 38:04
  in
• 38:04
  the
• 38:04
  build
• 38:04
  up
• 38:04
  to
• 38:05
  Anakin's
• 38:05
  turn
• 38:05
  to
• 38:06
  the
• 38:06
  dark
• 38:06
  side
• 38:06
  and
• 38:07
  order
• 38:07
  66.
• 38:07
  And.
• 38:08
  And
• 38:09
  I
• 38:09
  love
• 38:09
  that.
• 38:09
  That
• 38:10
  confrontation
• 38:10
  with
• 38:10
  Maul
• 38:11
  also,
• 38:12
  how.
• 38:12
  Has
• 38:12
  so
• 38:12
  much
• 38:13
  impact.
• 38:13
  Because
• 38:14
  in
• 38:14
  a
• 38:14
  way,
• 38:15
  I
• 38:15
  mean,
• 38:15
  Maul
• 38:15
  is
• 38:16
  right
• 38:16
  in
• 38:16
  those.
• 38:17
  I
• 38:17
  mean,
• 38:17
  like.
• 38:17
  I
• 38:17
  mean,
• 38:18
  granted,
• 38:18
  he
• 38:19
  is
• 38:19
  a
• 38:19
  very.
• 38:19
  He's
• 38:19
  still
• 38:20
  an
• 38:20
  anti
• 38:20
  hero,
• 38:21
  still
• 38:21
  a
• 38:21
  villain
• 38:21
  and
• 38:21
  everything,
• 38:22
  but.
• 38:22
  But
• 38:23
  everything
• 38:23
  he
• 38:23
  says
• 38:24
  about
• 38:24
  what's
• 38:25
  going
• 38:25
  to
• 38:25
  happen
• 38:25
  comes
• 38:26
  to
• 38:26
  fruition.
• 38:27
  And,
• 38:28
  you
• 38:28
  know,
• 38:29
  and
• 38:29
  like,
• 38:30
  it.
• 38:30
  It
• 38:30
  raises
• 38:31
  so
• 38:31
  many.
• 38:31
  The
• 38:31
  thing
• 38:32
  I
• 38:32
  always
• 38:32
  think
• 38:32
  about
• 38:33
  is
• 38:33
  like.
• 38:33
  Like,
• 38:33
  if
• 38:34
  Ahsoka
• 38:34
  had
• 38:35
  been
• 38:35
  on
• 38:35
  Coruscant
• 38:36
  with
• 38:36
  Anakin
• 38:38
  when
• 38:39
  everything
• 38:39
  was
• 38:39
  going
• 38:40
  down,
• 38:40
  would
• 38:40
  that
• 38:41
  have
• 38:41
  changed
• 38:41
  everything?
• 38:41
  Because
• 38:42
  the.
• 38:42
  For
• 38:43
  Anakin
• 38:44
  in
• 38:44
  that
• 38:44
  moment
• 38:45
  when
• 38:47
  he
• 38:47
  shows
• 38:48
  up
• 38:48
  after
• 38:48
  the
• 38:49
  Mace
• 38:49
  Windu
• 38:50
  and
• 38:50
  the
• 38:50
  other
• 38:50
  Jedi
• 38:50
  tried
• 38:51
  to
• 38:51
  arrest
• 38:51
  Palpatine,
• 38:53
  and
• 38:53
  Mace
• 38:53
  Windu
• 38:54
  eventually
• 38:54
  wins
• 38:55
  the
• 38:55
  duel
• 38:55
  and
• 38:55
  has
• 38:55
  the
• 38:55
  lightsaber
• 38:56
  at
• 38:56
  his
• 38:56
  throat.
• 38:57
  You
• 38:57
  know,
• 38:57
  Mace
• 38:58
  Windu
• 38:58
  is
• 38:59
  the
• 38:59
  worst
• 38:59
  person
• 38:59
  to
• 38:59
  be
• 39:00
  in
• 39:00
  the
• 39:00
  scene
• 39:01
  that
• 39:01
  they're
• 39:01
  in
• 39:01
  the
• 39:01
  scene
• 39:02
  with
• 39:02
  Anakin
• 39:02
  because,
• 39:03
  I
• 39:03
  mean,
• 39:04
  right
• 39:04
  there,
• 39:04
  as
• 39:05
  Palpatine
• 39:05
  is
• 39:05
  manipulating
• 39:06
  him,
• 39:07
  you
• 39:07
  know,
• 39:08
  like,
• 39:08
  you
• 39:08
  could
• 39:08
  not
• 39:09
  have
• 39:09
  a
• 39:09
  worse
• 39:09
  character
• 39:10
  to
• 39:11
  try
• 39:11
  to
• 39:11
  be
• 39:11
  the
• 39:12
  opposition
• 39:13
  and
• 39:13
  like,
• 39:13
  quote,
• 39:13
  unquote,
• 39:14
  keep
• 39:14
  him
• 39:14
  on
• 39:14
  the
• 39:14
  light
• 39:14
  side.
• 39:15
  But
• 39:15
  I
• 39:15
  always
• 39:15
  think
• 39:16
  about
• 39:16
  what
• 39:16
  would
• 39:16
  happen
• 39:17
  if
• 39:17
  Ahsoka
• 39:18
  had
• 39:18
  been
• 39:18
  there
• 39:19
  and
• 39:19
  she.
• 39:19
  And
• 39:20
  she
• 39:20
  had
• 39:20
  been
• 39:20
  able
• 39:20
  to
• 39:20
  pull
• 39:21
  him
• 39:21
  back
• 39:21
  and
• 39:21
  they
• 39:22
  could
• 39:22
  still
• 39:22
  have,
• 39:22
  you
• 39:23
  know,
• 39:23
  defeated
• 39:23
  Palpatine
• 39:24
  there,
• 39:24
  and
• 39:24
  maybe
• 39:24
  he
• 39:25
  would
• 39:25
  have
• 39:25
  not
• 39:25
  turned
• 39:26
  to
• 39:26
  the
• 39:26
  dark
• 39:26
  side.
• 39:27
  But
• 39:27
  it
• 39:28
  just,
• 39:28
  like,
• 39:28
  I
• 39:28
  That's
• 39:29
  what
• 39:29
  I
• 39:29
  love
• 39:29
  about
• 39:29
  her
• 39:29
  story
• 39:29
  is,
• 39:30
  like,
• 39:30
  she's
• 39:30
  such
• 39:30
  a
• 39:31
  great
• 39:31
  character
• 39:31
  on
• 39:31
  her
• 39:31
  own,
• 39:31
  and
• 39:32
  she
• 39:32
  means
• 39:32
  so
• 39:32
  much
• 39:33
  to
• 39:33
  Anakin.
• 39:33
  And
• 39:34
  I
• 39:34
  think.
• 39:34
  I
• 39:34
  mean,
• 39:34
  that's
• 39:35
  the
• 39:35
  biggest
• 39:35
  part
• 39:35
  of,
• 39:36
  you
• 39:36
  know,
• 39:36
  his
• 39:37
  downfall
• 39:37
  in
• 39:37
  Revenge
• 39:38
  of
• 39:38
  the
• 39:38
  Sith.
• 39:38
  And
• 39:38
  I
• 39:38
  do
• 39:39
  love
• 39:39
  that
• 39:39
  they
• 39:39
  get
• 39:39
  one
• 39:40
  more
• 39:40
  reunion
• 39:40
  before.
• 39:41
  But
• 39:41
  it's
• 39:41
  also
• 39:41
  a
• 39:41
  heartbreaking
• 39:42
  moment
• 39:42
  because,
• 39:43
  oh,
• 39:43
  like,
• 39:44
  as
• 39:44
  viewers,
• 39:44
  we
• 39:44
  know
• 39:45
  that,
• 39:45
  oh,
• 39:46
  you
• 39:46
  know,
• 39:46
  this
• 39:46
  is
• 39:47
  the
• 39:47
  last
• 39:47
  time
• 39:47
  they're
• 39:48
  going
• 39:48
  to
• 39:48
  be
• 39:48
  really
• 39:49
  Anakin
• 39:49
  and
• 39:49
  Ahsoka,
• 39:51
  because
• 39:51
  the
• 39:51
  next
• 39:52
  time
• 39:52
  they
• 39:53
  reunite,
• 39:53
  he
• 39:54
  will
• 39:54
  have
• 39:54
  become
• 39:54
  Vader.
• 39:55
  And
• 39:56
  it's
• 39:56
  such
• 39:56
  a
• 39:56
  heartbreaking
• 39:57
  relationship
• 39:58
  scenario.
• 39:58
  But.
• 39:59
  But,
• 40:00
  yeah,
• 40:00
  that's
• 40:00
  what
• 40:00
  she
• 40:01
  means
• 40:01
  so
• 40:01
  much.
• 40:01
  And
• 40:03
  I
• 40:04
  just
• 40:04
  wait.
• 40:04
  Yeah.
• 40:04
  Part
• 40:04
  of
• 40:04
  me
• 40:05
  wishes
• 40:05
  that,
• 40:05
  oh,
• 40:06
  she
• 40:06
  could
• 40:06
  have,
• 40:06
  you
• 40:06
  know,
• 40:07
  come
• 40:07
  back
• 40:07
  to
• 40:07
  him,
• 40:08
  stayed
• 40:08
  with
• 40:08
  them,
• 40:09
  and
• 40:09
  maybe,
• 40:10
  you
• 40:10
  know,
• 40:10
  would
• 40:11
  have
• 40:11
  turned.
• 40:11
  Because
• 40:12
  it's
• 40:12
  the
• 40:12
  same
• 40:12
  thing
• 40:12
  with.
• 40:13
  If
• 40:13
  Qui
• 40:13
  Gon
• 40:14
  had
• 40:14
  survived,
• 40:14
  it
• 40:15
  would
• 40:15
  have
• 40:15
  changed
• 40:15
  the
• 40:15
  trajectory
• 40:16
  of
• 40:16
  Anakin's
• 40:17
  life
• 40:17
  in
• 40:17
  the
• 40:17
  galaxy.
• 40:18
  That's
• 40:18
  why
• 40:19
  that,
• 40:20
  you
• 40:20
  know,
• 40:20
  the
• 40:21
  duel
• 40:21
  is
• 40:21
  called
• 40:21
  Duel
• 40:22
  of
• 40:22
  the
• 40:22
  Fates
• 40:22
  because,
• 40:23
  you
• 40:23
  know,
• 40:23
  it's
• 40:24
  not
• 40:24
  just
• 40:24
  Obi
• 40:24
  Wan
• 40:25
  and.
• 40:26
  And
• 40:26
  Qui
• 40:26
  Gon
• 40:27
  fighting
• 40:27
  Darth
• 40:27
  Maul.
• 40:27
  It's
• 40:28
  literally
• 40:29
  the
• 40:29
  fate
• 40:30
  of
• 40:30
  the
• 40:30
  galaxy
• 40:30
  is
• 40:31
  determined
• 40:31
  in
• 40:32
  that
• 40:32
  fight
• 40:32
  because
• 40:33
  Qui
• 40:33
  Gon's
• 40:34
  death
• 40:35
  changes
• 40:35
  everything
• 40:36
  for
• 40:36
  Anakin.
• 40:37
  And
• 40:37
  Marvel's
• 40:38
  done
• 40:38
  the
• 40:38
  what
• 40:38
  if
• 40:38
  stuff
• 40:38
  all
• 40:39
  the
• 40:39
  time.
• 40:39
  I
• 40:39
  really
• 40:39
  think
• 40:40
  a
• 40:40
  Star
• 40:40
  wars
• 40:40
  what
• 40:41
  if
• 40:41
  animated
• 40:42
  of,
• 40:42
  like,
• 40:42
  what
• 40:42
  if
• 40:42
  Qui
• 40:43
  Gon
• 40:43
  survived?
• 40:44
  What
• 40:44
  if
• 40:46
  the
• 40:46
  Council
• 40:47
  accepted
• 40:47
  him
• 40:47
  as
• 40:48
  a
• 40:48
  Jedi
• 40:48
  Master?
• 40:48
  What
• 40:49
  if
• 40:49
  Ahsoka
• 40:50
  was
• 40:50
  a
• 40:50
  friend?
• 40:50
  Like,
• 40:51
  you
• 40:51
  could
• 40:51
  have
• 40:51
  these
• 40:51
  different
• 40:51
  trajectories
• 40:52
  and
• 40:53
  stories
• 40:53
  of
• 40:53
  just
• 40:54
  endless
• 40:54
  possibilities
• 40:55
  of
• 40:55
  how
• 40:55
  things
• 40:56
  would
• 40:56
  have
• 40:56
  been
• 40:56
  different.
• 40:56
  And
• 40:56
  that's
• 40:57
  part
• 40:57
  of
• 40:57
  the
• 40:57
  faces
• 40:57
  behind
• 40:58
  us
• 40:58
  questions.
• 40:59
  It
• 40:59
  was
• 40:59
  like,
• 40:59
  how
• 40:59
  would
• 40:59
  things
• 41:00
  be
• 41:00
  a
• 41:00
  little
• 41:00
  different
• 41:01
  if
• 41:01
  they
• 41:01
  weren't
• 41:01
  a
• 41:02
  part
• 41:02
  of
• 41:02
  their
• 41:02
  lives
• 41:02
  or
• 41:02
  made
• 41:03
  some
• 41:03
  different
• 41:03
  decisions?
• 41:03
  And
• 41:04
  I
• 41:04
  think
• 41:04
  you
• 41:04
  can
• 41:04
  clearly
• 41:04
  see
• 41:05
  that
• 41:05
  happen
• 41:05
  in
• 41:06
  this
• 41:06
  ongoing
• 41:06
  thing.
• 41:06
  You
• 41:07
  would
• 41:07
  think
• 41:07
  it's
• 41:07
  just,
• 41:07
  oh,
• 41:08
  it's
• 41:08
  just
• 41:08
  a
• 41:08
  board.
• 41:08
  It's
• 41:08
  just
• 41:08
  a
• 41:08
  Council,
• 41:09
  but
• 41:09
  they
• 41:09
  have
• 41:09
  a
• 41:09
  high
• 41:10
  that
• 41:10
  the
• 41:10
  fate
• 41:11
  of
• 41:11
  the
• 41:11
  universe
• 41:12
  lies
• 41:13
  on
• 41:13
  their
• 41:13
  shoulders
• 41:13
  and
• 41:13
  some
• 41:14
  of
• 41:14
  the
• 41:14
  decisions
• 41:14
  and
• 41:14
  how
• 41:14
  they
• 41:15
  react
• 41:15
  to
• 41:15
  certain
• 41:15
  things.
• 41:16
  John,
• 41:16
  you.
• 41:17
  You
• 41:18
  know,
• 41:18
  you
• 41:18
  start.
• 41:18
  You
• 41:18
  say.
• 41:19
  You
• 41:19
  start
• 41:19
  with
• 41:19
  Rebels.
• 41:19
  I
• 41:19
  guess
• 41:20
  there
• 41:20
  was
• 41:20
  that.
• 41:20
  That
• 41:20
  moment
• 41:21
  in
• 41:21
  that
• 41:22
  series
• 41:22
  where
• 41:23
  Ahsok
• 41:24
  Vader
• 41:25
  meet
• 41:25
  up
• 41:25
  and
• 41:25
  she
• 41:25
  kind
• 41:25
  of
• 41:26
  realizes
• 41:26
  who
• 41:26
  he
• 41:26
  is
• 41:28
  in
• 41:28
  the
• 41:28
  midst
• 41:28
  of
• 41:28
  that
• 41:30
  share
• 41:31
  where
• 41:31
  that
• 41:31
  was
• 41:31
  like,
• 41:31
  in
• 41:31
  terms
• 41:32
  of
• 41:32
  scene
• 41:32
  for
• 41:32
  you
• 41:32
  for
• 41:32
  the
• 41:32
  first
• 41:33
  time,
• 41:33
  like,
• 41:33
  that's.
• 41:33
  That's
• 41:33
  a
• 41:33
  pretty.
• 41:34
  Pretty
• 41:34
  heavy
• 41:34
  moment.
• 41:35
  Even
• 41:35
  without,
• 41:37
  you
• 41:37
  know,
• 41:37
  seeing
• 41:37
  the
• 41:38
  Clone
• 41:38
  wars
• 41:38
  show
• 41:38
  and
• 41:38
  Rebels
• 41:39
  being
• 41:39
  my
• 41:39
  first.
• 41:39
  First
• 41:40
  time,
• 41:40
  I
• 41:40
  understood
• 41:41
  that
• 41:41
  she
• 41:42
  Was
• 41:42
  his.
• 41:42
  Or.
• 41:43
  Yeah,
• 41:43
  she
• 41:43
  was
• 41:43
  his
• 41:44
  apprentice.
• 41:45
  And
• 41:45
  the
• 41:45
  movement,
• 41:46
  the
• 41:46
  moment
• 41:46
  was
• 41:47
  just
• 41:47
  so.
• 41:48
  Just
• 41:49
  amazing
• 41:49
  of,
• 41:49
  like,
• 41:50
  because,
• 41:50
  number
• 41:51
  one,
• 41:51
  it
• 41:51
  was
• 41:51
  an
• 41:52
  epic
• 41:52
  set
• 41:52
  piece.
• 41:53
  They
• 41:53
  were
• 41:53
  on
• 41:53
  this
• 41:54
  like.
• 41:55
  Like
• 41:55
  the
• 41:56
  Sith
• 41:56
  Pyramid
• 41:57
  battle
• 41:57
  station
• 41:58
  thing
• 41:58
  that
• 41:58
  was
• 41:59
  like,
• 41:59
  supposed
• 41:59
  to
• 41:59
  be
• 42:00
  like
• 42:00
  kind
• 42:00
  of
• 42:00
  a
• 42:00
  proto
• 42:01
  planet
• 42:02
  killer
• 42:03
  that.
• 42:04
  It
• 42:04
  was
• 42:04
  really
• 42:05
  cool
• 42:05
  because
• 42:05
  that.
• 42:06
  Because
• 42:06
  if
• 42:06
  I
• 42:06
  remember
• 42:06
  correctly,
• 42:07
  that
• 42:07
  was
• 42:07
  when,
• 42:08
  like,
• 42:08
  they
• 42:08
  brought
• 42:09
  the
• 42:09
  holocron
• 42:10
  and
• 42:10
  all
• 42:10
  that
• 42:10
  stuff,
• 42:10
  and
• 42:12
  they
• 42:12
  activated
• 42:12
  the
• 42:13
  station.
• 42:13
  And
• 42:13
  then
• 42:13
  Darth
• 42:14
  Maul,
• 42:14
  Darth
• 42:15
  Maul
• 42:15
  and
• 42:15
  Darth
• 42:15
  Vader
• 42:16
  shows
• 42:16
  up.
• 42:16
  And
• 42:16
  it's
• 42:17
  just.
• 42:18
  It
• 42:18
  was
• 42:19
  such
• 42:19
  a
• 42:20
  wild,
• 42:20
  like,
• 42:22
  series
• 42:22
  of
• 42:23
  events
• 42:23
  there.
• 42:24
  And
• 42:24
  then
• 42:24
  the
• 42:25
  duel
• 42:25
  between
• 42:25
  Vader
• 42:26
  and
• 42:26
  Ahsoka
• 42:27
  was
• 42:27
  pretty
• 42:28
  epic.
• 42:28
  And
• 42:28
  then
• 42:29
  later
• 42:29
  on
• 42:30
  in
• 42:30
  the
• 42:30
  show,
• 42:30
  when
• 42:30
  you
• 42:30
  figure
• 42:31
  out
• 42:31
  that
• 42:31
  time
• 42:31
  is.
• 42:31
  Time
• 42:32
  travel
• 42:32
  is
• 42:32
  involved,
• 42:33
  it's
• 42:33
  just
• 42:33
  geeky.
• 42:34
  It's
• 42:34
  so
• 42:35
  awesome.
• 42:35
  Like
• 42:36
  one
• 42:37
  of
• 42:37
  those.
• 42:37
  Like,
• 42:37
  it
• 42:37
  really
• 42:38
  is.
• 42:38
  You
• 42:38
  just
• 42:38
  get
• 42:39
  the
• 42:39
  shivers,
• 42:39
  you
• 42:39
  know,
• 42:40
  like,
• 42:40
  some
• 42:40
  people,
• 42:40
  you
• 42:40
  know,
• 42:41
  they
• 42:41
  hold
• 42:41
  their
• 42:41
  Starbucks
• 42:42
  coffee
• 42:42
  and
• 42:42
  they
• 42:43
  get
• 42:43
  the
• 42:43
  shivers.
• 42:43
  No,
• 42:43
  I
• 42:44
  watched
• 42:44
  the.
• 42:45
  The
• 42:46
  Star
• 42:46
  wars
• 42:47
  in
• 42:47
  Between
• 42:48
  Worlds,
• 42:48
  and
• 42:48
  I
• 42:48
  get
• 42:48
  the
• 42:48
  shivers.
• 42:49
  It's
• 42:49
  so
• 42:50
  cool.
• 42:50
  Yeah.
• 42:51
  And
• 42:51
  I
• 42:52
  think
• 42:52
  I
• 42:52
  have
• 42:52
  to
• 42:52
  go
• 42:52
  back
• 42:52
  and
• 42:53
  watch
• 42:53
  that.
• 42:53
  After
• 42:53
  we're
• 42:54
  talking
• 42:54
  about
• 42:54
  this,
• 42:54
  I'm
• 42:54
  gonna
• 42:54
  go
• 42:55
  hunt
• 42:55
  down
• 42:55
  that
• 42:55
  episode
• 42:56
  of
• 42:56
  them
• 42:56
  meeting
• 42:57
  up.
• 42:58
  I
• 42:58
  think
• 42:58
  it's
• 42:58
  really,
• 42:59
  really
• 42:59
  cool.
• 42:59
  Maybe
• 42:59
  I'll
• 43:00
  do
• 43:00
  that.
• 43:01
  You
• 43:01
  know,
• 43:02
  you
• 43:02
  got
• 43:02
  me
• 43:02
  thinking
• 43:02
  about
• 43:02
  Maul
• 43:03
  and
• 43:03
  Ahsoka.
• 43:04
  They're
• 43:04
  both
• 43:04
  characters
• 43:05
  that
• 43:06
  kind
• 43:06
  of
• 43:06
  rejected
• 43:07
  by
• 43:08
  their
• 43:08
  institution
• 43:08
  or
• 43:09
  their
• 43:09
  master
• 43:09
  or,
• 43:10
  you
• 43:10
  know,
• 43:10
  she
• 43:11
  was
• 43:11
  never
• 43:11
  rejected
• 43:11
  by
• 43:11
  Anakin
• 43:12
  per
• 43:12
  se,
• 43:13
  but
• 43:13
  when
• 43:13
  he
• 43:13
  turns
• 43:13
  to
• 43:14
  the
• 43:14
  dark
• 43:14
  side,
• 43:15
  you
• 43:15
  know,
• 43:15
  that
• 43:15
  she
• 43:16
  sees
• 43:16
  what's
• 43:16
  going
• 43:17
  on
• 43:17
  there.
• 43:18
  Maybe
• 43:18
  she
• 43:18
  feels
• 43:19
  like
• 43:19
  things
• 43:20
  would
• 43:20
  be
• 43:20
  different
• 43:20
  in
• 43:20
  his
• 43:20
  life
• 43:20
  if
• 43:21
  I
• 43:21
  stuck
• 43:21
  around
• 43:21
  it,
• 43:21
  leave
• 43:22
  him
• 43:22
  and
• 43:23
  help
• 43:23
  supported
• 43:23
  him.
• 43:24
  But
• 43:24
  Maul
• 43:25
  and
• 43:25
  Ahsoka
• 43:25
  both
• 43:26
  have
• 43:26
  this
• 43:26
  kind
• 43:26
  of
• 43:26
  bond
• 43:26
  where
• 43:27
  they
• 43:27
  both
• 43:27
  have
• 43:28
  been
• 43:28
  kind
• 43:29
  of
• 43:29
  pushed
• 43:30
  aside
• 43:31
  by
• 43:32
  the
• 43:32
  light
• 43:32
  side
• 43:32
  and
• 43:33
  the
• 43:33
  dark
• 43:33
  side
• 43:33
  by
• 43:34
  Palpatine
• 43:34
  and
• 43:35
  the
• 43:35
  Jedi
• 43:35
  Council.
• 43:35
  So
• 43:36
  they
• 43:36
  have
• 43:36
  a
• 43:37
  common
• 43:37
  bond
• 43:37
  there
• 43:37
  in
• 43:37
  the
• 43:37
  midst
• 43:38
  of
• 43:38
  that.
• 43:39
  It's
• 43:39
  interesting
• 43:39
  in
• 43:40
  this
• 43:40
  Darth
• 43:40
  Maul
• 43:40
  cartoon
• 43:41
  now
• 43:41
  this
• 43:41
  that's
• 43:42
  happening
• 43:42
  in
• 43:42
  the
• 43:42
  series,
• 43:42
  you
• 43:43
  know,
• 43:43
  here
• 43:43
  I'm
• 43:43
  going
• 43:43
  back
• 43:44
  and
• 43:44
  forth
• 43:44
  about,
• 43:44
  you
• 43:45
  know,
• 43:45
  unaffiliated.
• 43:47
  He's
• 43:47
  still
• 43:47
  a
• 43:48
  Sith,
• 43:48
  the
• 43:48
  dark
• 43:49
  side,
• 43:49
  but.
• 43:49
  But
• 43:49
  he
• 43:50
  doesn't,
• 43:50
  you
• 43:50
  know,
• 43:50
  he
• 43:51
  wants
• 43:51
  revenge
• 43:51
  on
• 43:51
  the
• 43:51
  Empire,
• 43:52
  Palpatine
• 43:52
  as
• 43:52
  well.
• 43:53
  So
• 43:54
  all
• 43:54
  that's
• 43:54
  really
• 43:55
  interested
• 43:55
  in
• 43:55
  great
• 43:56
  storytelling.
• 43:56
  I
• 43:56
  really
• 43:57
  like
• 43:57
  how
• 43:57
  they've.
• 43:57
  They've
• 43:57
  handled
• 43:58
  those.
• 43:58
  Those
• 43:58
  stories
• 43:58
  over
• 43:59
  the
• 43:59
  years
• 43:59
  and
• 44:00
  done
• 44:00
  a
• 44:00
  good
• 44:00
  job.
• 44:01
  So.
• 44:01
  Yeah,
• 44:02
  we
• 44:02
  need
• 44:02
  to
• 44:02
  wrap
• 44:02
  up
• 44:02
  here,
• 44:02
  but
• 44:03
  I'm
• 44:03
  curious,
• 44:03
  like
• 44:04
  Kevin
• 44:04
  John,
• 44:05
  what.
• 44:05
  What
• 44:05
  has
• 44:06
  been
• 44:06
  some
• 44:06
  of
• 44:06
  your
• 44:06
  Experience
• 44:07
  about
• 44:08
  with,
• 44:08
  with,
• 44:08
  with
• 44:08
  boards
• 44:09
  in
• 44:09
  general
• 44:09
  or
• 44:10
  committees.
• 44:10
  Have
• 44:10
  you
• 44:11
  been
• 44:11
  on
• 44:11
  a
• 44:11
  board?
• 44:11
  Have
• 44:12
  you
• 44:12
  been
• 44:12
  on
• 44:12
  a
• 44:12
  church
• 44:13
  council?
• 44:13
  Have
• 44:13
  you
• 44:13
  been
• 44:14
  a
• 44:14
  board
• 44:14
  of
• 44:14
  directors?
• 44:15
  I've
• 44:15
  been
• 44:15
  on
• 44:15
  lots.
• 44:16
  But
• 44:16
  in
• 44:17
  terms
• 44:17
  of
• 44:17
  your
• 44:17
  experience,
• 44:18
  you
• 44:18
  know,
• 44:19
  what
• 44:19
  you
• 44:19
  know,
• 44:20
  or
• 44:21
  should
• 44:22
  we
• 44:22
  keep
• 44:22
  them
• 44:22
  or
• 44:23
  get
• 44:23
  rid
• 44:23
  of
• 44:23
  it?
• 44:23
  Should
• 44:23
  we
• 44:23
  just
• 44:24
  be
• 44:24
  anarchists
• 44:24
  when
• 44:25
  it
• 44:25
  comes
• 44:25
  to
• 44:25
  running
• 44:26
  our
• 44:26
  institutions?
• 44:27
  John,
• 44:27
  go
• 44:28
  with
• 44:28
  you.
• 44:29
  I
• 44:29
  don't,
• 44:29
  I
• 44:29
  don't
• 44:29
  think
• 44:30
  you
• 44:30
  said
• 44:31
  me
• 44:31
  right.
• 44:31
  I
• 44:31
  don't
• 44:31
  want
• 44:31
  to
• 44:31
  go
• 44:31
  out.
• 44:32
  Yeah,
• 44:32
  yeah,
• 44:32
  yeah.
• 44:33
  Okay.
• 44:35
  I
• 44:35
  was
• 44:36
  a
• 44:36
  police
• 44:36
  officer
• 44:37
  for
• 44:37
  seven
• 44:38
  years
• 44:38
  and
• 44:39
  I
• 44:39
  have
• 44:39
  had,
• 44:40
  I
• 44:40
  have
• 44:40
  witnessed
• 44:41
  my
• 44:41
  fair
• 44:41
  share
• 44:42
  of
• 44:43
  overseeing
• 44:43
  boards,
• 44:44
  government
• 44:44
  agencies
• 44:45
  and
• 44:46
  you
• 44:47
  know,
• 44:47
  councils,
• 44:49
  so
• 44:49
  to
• 44:49
  speak.
• 44:49
  And
• 44:50
  my
• 44:50
  opinion
• 44:51
  of
• 44:51
  them
• 44:52
  is
• 44:52
  actually
• 44:52
  a
• 44:53
  whole
• 44:53
  lot
• 44:53
  worse
• 44:53
  than
• 44:53
  the
• 44:54
  Jedi
• 44:54
  Council.
• 44:55
  I
• 44:55
  think
• 44:55
  that
• 44:56
  real
• 44:56
  life
• 44:58
  government
• 44:58
  boards
• 44:59
  and
• 44:59
  overseeing
• 44:59
  agencies
• 45:00
  are
• 45:01
  by
• 45:01
  and
• 45:01
  large
• 45:02
  corrupt
• 45:03
  and
• 45:03
  do
• 45:03
  not
• 45:03
  function
• 45:04
  the
• 45:04
  way
• 45:04
  that
• 45:04
  we
• 45:04
  want
• 45:04
  them
• 45:05
  to.
• 45:05
  They
• 45:06
  are
• 45:06
  all
• 45:06
  extremely
• 45:06
  self
• 45:07
  centered,
• 45:07
  self
• 45:07
  inflating
• 45:08
  and
• 45:09
  rules
• 45:09
  for
• 45:10
  the
• 45:10
  not
• 45:10
  for
• 45:10
  me
• 45:10
  attitude.
• 45:11
  Not
• 45:11
  everybody
• 45:12
  in
• 45:12
  them.
• 45:13
  But
• 45:14
  I
• 45:14
  would
• 45:14
  pick
• 45:14
  the
• 45:15
  Jedi
• 45:15
  Council
• 45:15
  a
• 45:16
  thousand
• 45:16
  times
• 45:16
  over.
• 45:17
  Even
• 45:18
  the,
• 45:18
  you
• 45:18
  know,
• 45:19
  during
• 45:19
  the
• 45:20
  moments
• 45:20
  when
• 45:20
  they're
• 45:21
  like
• 45:21
  prosecuting
• 45:22
  Ahsoka
• 45:22
  is
• 45:23
  better
• 45:23
  than,
• 45:24
  you
• 45:24
  know,
• 45:24
  my
• 45:24
  experience
• 45:25
  of
• 45:26
  local
• 45:26
  government,
• 45:27
  state
• 45:27
  government
• 45:29
  and
• 45:29
  company
• 45:31
  oversight
• 45:31
  boards
• 45:32
  and
• 45:32
  things
• 45:32
  like
• 45:32
  that.
• 45:33
  I
• 45:33
  have
• 45:33
  very
• 45:34
  low
• 45:34
  opinions
• 45:34
  of
• 45:34
  councils
• 45:35
  and
• 45:35
  I've
• 45:35
  witnessed
• 45:36
  some,
• 45:37
  you
• 45:37
  know,
• 45:37
  good
• 45:38
  counsels
• 45:38
  I
• 45:38
  say
• 45:39
  like
• 45:39
  with
• 45:39
  my
• 45:39
  local
• 45:40
  church
• 45:40
  or
• 45:42
  you
• 45:42
  know,
• 45:43
  with
• 45:43
  this
• 45:43
  podcast
• 45:44
  we.
• 45:44
  When
• 45:45
  the,
• 45:45
  the
• 45:45
  minds
• 45:46
  meet,
• 45:46
  it's
• 45:46
  kind
• 45:46
  of
• 45:46
  like
• 45:46
  a
• 45:47
  council
• 45:47
  meeting,
• 45:47
  you
• 45:48
  know.
• 45:48
  Yeah.
• 45:48
  But
• 45:50
  when
• 45:50
  it
• 45:50
  comes
• 45:50
  to
• 45:51
  power,
• 45:52
  where
• 45:52
  they
• 45:52
  say
• 45:52
  absolute
• 45:53
  power
• 45:53
  corrupts
• 45:53
  absolutely,
• 45:54
  I
• 45:54
  have,
• 45:56
  I
• 45:56
  haven't
• 45:57
  seen
• 45:57
  good
• 45:58
  examples
• 45:58
  yet
• 45:59
  and
• 45:59
  I've.
• 45:59
  I
• 45:59
  was
• 46:00
  in
• 46:00
  law
• 46:00
  enforcement,
• 46:01
  so
• 46:02
  that
• 46:02
  doesn't
• 46:03
  bode
• 46:03
  well
• 46:03
  for
• 46:03
  my
• 46:04
  thought
• 46:04
  of
• 46:04
  greater
• 46:05
  society
• 46:05
  considering
• 46:06
  I
• 46:06
  feel
• 46:06
  like
• 46:07
  our
• 46:08
  conservative
• 46:09
  states
• 46:09
  are
• 46:10
  better
• 46:10
  run
• 46:11
  than
• 46:11
  the
• 46:12
  some
• 46:12
  other
• 46:12
  places.
• 46:13
  And
• 46:13
  I
• 46:13
  still
• 46:13
  have
• 46:14
  very
• 46:14
  low
• 46:14
  opinions
• 46:15
  of
• 46:15
  the
• 46:16
  local
• 46:16
  governments.
• 46:17
  So
• 46:17
  I
• 46:18
  do
• 46:18
  not
• 46:18
  have
• 46:18
  very
• 46:19
  high
• 46:19
  hopes
• 46:19
  that
• 46:20
  other
• 46:21
  places
• 46:21
  with
• 46:22
  more
• 46:23
  leniency
• 46:24
  on
• 46:24
  crime
• 46:25
  and
• 46:25
  more
• 46:25
  of
• 46:26
  the
• 46:26
  rules
• 46:26
  for
• 46:26
  the.
• 46:27
  But
• 46:27
  not
• 46:27
  for
• 46:27
  me.
• 46:28
  Let
• 46:28
  me
• 46:28
  live
• 46:28
  in
• 46:28
  my
• 46:28
  mansion
• 46:29
  while
• 46:29
  you
• 46:29
  live
• 46:29
  in
• 46:29
  squalor.
• 46:30
  I
• 46:31
  just
• 46:31
  don't
• 46:31
  have
• 46:31
  high
• 46:32
  opinions
• 46:32
  of
• 46:32
  councils.
• 46:34
  Yeah,
• 46:34
  John,
• 46:34
  not
• 46:34
  holding
• 46:35
  back.
• 46:35
  I
• 46:35
  hear
• 46:35
  you,
• 46:35
  man.
• 46:35
  People
• 46:35
  are
• 46:36
  going
• 46:36
  to
• 46:36
  people
• 46:36
  and
• 46:37
  when
• 46:37
  you
• 46:37
  get
• 46:37
  people
• 46:37
  together
• 46:37
  on
• 46:38
  committees,
• 46:38
  then
• 46:38
  you
• 46:38
  just
• 46:39
  got
• 46:39
  to
• 46:39
  double
• 46:39
  up
• 46:39
  on
• 46:39
  what
• 46:39
  people
• 46:40
  do
• 46:40
  in
• 46:41
  those
• 46:41
  things.
• 46:41
  Kevin,
• 46:42
  how
• 46:42
  about
• 46:42
  you,
• 46:42
  man?
• 46:43
  Your
• 46:44
  experience,
• 46:45
  whether
• 46:45
  it's
• 46:46
  not
• 46:46
  for
• 46:46
  profits
• 46:47
  or
• 46:47
  profits
• 46:48
  committees.
• 46:49
  Yeah,
• 46:49
  I
• 46:50
  mean,
• 46:50
  thankfully,
• 46:51
  unlike
• 46:51
  John,
• 46:51
  thankfully,
• 46:52
  I
• 46:52
  have
• 46:52
  not
• 46:52
  worked
• 46:52
  for
• 46:53
  government.
• 46:53
  So
• 46:53
  I've
• 46:54
  actually
• 46:54
  been
• 46:54
  on
• 46:54
  like
• 46:55
  boards
• 46:56
  and
• 46:56
  councils
• 46:57
  that
• 46:57
  I
• 46:57
  would
• 46:57
  say
• 46:57
  are
• 46:58
  much
• 46:58
  more
• 46:58
  fruitful.
• 46:58
  I
• 46:59
  actually
• 46:59
  had
• 46:59
  an
• 47:00
  advisory
• 47:00
  board
• 47:00
  meeting
• 47:01
  today
• 47:01
  for
• 47:02
  work
• 47:02
  I'm
• 47:02
  part
• 47:02
  of
• 47:02
  a
• 47:03
  group
• 47:03
  there
• 47:04
  that,
• 47:04
  so
• 47:05
  I
• 47:05
  really.
• 47:06
  That's
• 47:06
  actually
• 47:06
  one
• 47:06
  of
• 47:06
  my
• 47:07
  favorite
• 47:07
  parts
• 47:07
  of
• 47:07
  work.
• 47:08
  We
• 47:08
  do
• 47:08
  a
• 47:08
  meeting
• 47:08
  each
• 47:08
  month
• 47:09
  and
• 47:10
  it's
• 47:10
  a
• 47:10
  group
• 47:10
  of
• 47:11
  us
• 47:11
  who
• 47:11
  are
• 47:12
  from
• 47:12
  different
• 47:12
  rare
• 47:13
  disease
• 47:13
  communities.
• 47:13
  And
• 47:14
  because
• 47:14
  I
• 47:14
  work
• 47:14
  for
• 47:14
  a
• 47:15
  digital
• 47:15
  health
• 47:15
  publisher
• 47:16
  and
• 47:17
  that's
• 47:17
  actually
• 47:18
  one
• 47:18
  of
• 47:18
  my
• 47:18
  things
• 47:18
  I
• 47:18
  look
• 47:18
  forward
• 47:19
  to
• 47:19
  the
• 47:19
  most.
• 47:19
  And
• 47:19
  it's
• 47:20
  actually
• 47:20
  kind
• 47:20
  of
• 47:20
  a
• 47:20
  nice
• 47:21
  distraction
• 47:22
  from
• 47:22
  some
• 47:22
  of
• 47:22
  the
• 47:23
  more
• 47:23
  rigid,
• 47:24
  more
• 47:25
  bureaucratic
• 47:25
  elements
• 47:26
  of
• 47:26
  work.
• 47:27
  Like
• 47:27
  that's
• 47:28
  the
• 47:28
  whole
• 47:28
  purpose
• 47:28
  of
• 47:28
  that
• 47:29
  group
• 47:29
  is
• 47:29
  to
• 47:30
  exchange
• 47:31
  ideas.
• 47:31
  You
• 47:32
  know,
• 47:32
  we
• 47:32
  make
• 47:32
  it
• 47:32
  very
• 47:33
  democratic,
• 47:33
  we
• 47:34
  want
• 47:34
  everyone's
• 47:34
  voice
• 47:34
  heard.
• 47:35
  And
• 47:36
  I
• 47:36
  never
• 47:36
  feel
• 47:36
  like
• 47:36
  anyone
• 47:37
  is
• 47:37
  trying
• 47:37
  to
• 47:37
  be,
• 47:38
  you
• 47:38
  know,
• 47:38
  power
• 47:38
  oriented
• 47:39
  in
• 47:40
  that
• 47:40
  regard.
• 47:40
  And,
• 47:40
  and
• 47:40
  similarly,
• 47:41
  I
• 47:41
  was
• 47:41
  on
• 47:42
  an
• 47:42
  advisory
• 47:43
  council
• 47:44
  for
• 47:45
  CARE
• 47:45
  sma,
• 47:45
  which
• 47:46
  is
• 47:46
  like
• 47:46
  the
• 47:46
  main
• 47:47
  nonprofit
• 47:48
  for
• 47:48
  my
• 47:49
  disease
• 47:49
  community.
• 47:50
  And
• 47:51
  I
• 47:51
  was,
• 47:51
  I
• 47:51
  did
• 47:51
  two
• 47:52
  terms
• 47:52
  there
• 47:53
  and
• 47:53
  it
• 47:54
  was
• 47:54
  similar
• 47:54
  to
• 47:54
  where
• 47:54
  it
• 47:55
  was
• 47:55
  just
• 47:55
  very
• 47:55
  much
• 47:55
  more
• 47:56
  idea
• 47:57
  oriented.
• 47:57
  And,
• 47:57
  and
• 47:58
  sure,
• 47:58
  anytime
• 47:58
  you
• 47:59
  get
• 47:59
  a
• 47:59
  group
• 47:59
  of
• 47:59
  people
• 47:59
  together,
• 48:00
  there's
• 48:01
  still
• 48:01
  going
• 48:01
  to
• 48:01
  be
• 48:01
  friction
• 48:02
  and
• 48:03
  that
• 48:03
  happens.
• 48:03
  But
• 48:04
  I
• 48:05
  would
• 48:05
  say
• 48:05
  more
• 48:05
  often
• 48:05
  than
• 48:05
  not,
• 48:06
  on
• 48:06
  just
• 48:06
  those
• 48:06
  two
• 48:07
  examples,
• 48:08
  they
• 48:08
  were
• 48:08
  really
• 48:09
  positive.
• 48:10
  And
• 48:10
  then,
• 48:10
  yeah,
• 48:10
  I've
• 48:11
  been
• 48:11
  in
• 48:11
  church
• 48:11
  ones
• 48:12
  before.
• 48:13
  Some
• 48:13
  good,
• 48:13
  some
• 48:13
  not
• 48:14
  so
• 48:14
  good,
• 48:15
  and
• 48:16
  yeah,
• 48:16
  so
• 48:16
  kind
• 48:16
  of
• 48:16
  everything
• 48:17
  in
• 48:17
  between.
• 48:17
  I've
• 48:18
  been
• 48:18
  on
• 48:18
  many
• 48:19
  council
• 48:20
  and
• 48:21
  board
• 48:21
  and
• 48:22
  all
• 48:22
  that
• 48:22
  from,
• 48:23
  I
• 48:23
  mean,
• 48:23
  really
• 48:24
  since
• 48:24
  the
• 48:24
  time
• 48:24
  I
• 48:25
  was
• 48:25
  in
• 48:25
  school
• 48:26
  to,
• 48:26
  you
• 48:26
  know,
• 48:27
  my
• 48:27
  work
• 48:27
  life
• 48:29
  and
• 48:30
  plenty
• 48:30
  of
• 48:30
  ups
• 48:30
  and
• 48:30
  downs.
• 48:31
  But
• 48:31
  thankfully,
• 48:32
  I
• 48:32
  would
• 48:32
  say
• 48:32
  I've
• 48:33
  had
• 48:33
  more
• 48:33
  positive
• 48:34
  experiences
• 48:34
  than
• 48:35
  negative
• 48:35
  ones
• 48:36
  because
• 48:37
  especially
• 48:37
  when
• 48:38
  it's
• 48:38
  a
• 48:38
  open
• 48:39
  forum
• 48:39
  kind
• 48:40
  of
• 48:40
  setting
• 48:40
  where
• 48:40
  people
• 48:41
  can
• 48:41
  exchange
• 48:41
  ideas,
• 48:42
  that's
• 48:42
  how
• 48:43
  they
• 48:43
  should
• 48:43
  operate.
• 48:44
  More
• 48:45
  than
• 48:45
  like
• 48:46
  one
• 48:46
  person
• 48:46
  dictating
• 48:47
  and
• 48:48
  everyone
• 48:48
  else
• 48:48
  is
• 48:49
  just
• 48:49
  kind
• 48:49
  of
• 48:49
  on
• 48:49
  there
• 48:49
  as
• 48:50
  a
• 48:50
  title.
• 48:51
  Yeah,
• 48:52
  I
• 48:52
  hear
• 48:52
  you.
• 48:53
  I
• 48:53
  similar
• 48:54
  feelings
• 48:54
  myself.
• 48:54
  I
• 48:55
  mentioned
• 48:55
  the
• 48:55
  beginning
• 48:55
  of
• 48:55
  this
• 48:56
  episode
• 48:57
  going
• 48:57
  to
• 48:58
  a
• 48:58
  faith
• 48:58
  and
• 48:58
  science
• 48:59
  conference.
• 48:59
  I'm
• 48:59
  a
• 48:59
  part
• 48:59
  of
• 49:00
  the
• 49:01
  steering
• 49:01
  committee
• 49:01
  for
• 49:01
  the
• 49:02
  Lutheran
• 49:02
  alliance
• 49:03
  for
• 49:03
  Faith,
• 49:03
  Science
• 49:03
  and
• 49:04
  Technology.
• 49:04
  So
• 49:04
  we're
• 49:04
  an
• 49:05
  alliance
• 49:05
  and
• 49:05
  we
• 49:05
  come
• 49:05
  together
• 49:05
  and
• 49:06
  we
• 49:06
  make
• 49:06
  decisions
• 49:06
  and
• 49:07
  try
• 49:07
  to
• 49:07
  put
• 49:07
  out
• 49:07
  stuff
• 49:08
  to
• 49:08
  kind
• 49:08
  of
• 49:08
  help,
• 49:09
  you
• 49:10
  know,
• 49:10
  curate
• 49:10
  some
• 49:10
  healthy
• 49:11
  conversations
• 49:11
  between
• 49:11
  faith
• 49:12
  and
• 49:12
  science.
• 49:12
  And
• 49:12
  so,
• 49:13
  so,
• 49:13
  but,
• 49:13
  but
• 49:13
  there
• 49:13
  I
• 49:14
  love
• 49:14
  it
• 49:14
  was.
• 49:14
  I
• 49:14
  love
• 49:14
  meeting
• 49:15
  these
• 49:15
  people
• 49:15
  that
• 49:15
  I
• 49:16
  in
• 49:16
  person
• 49:16
  that
• 49:17
  I've
• 49:17
  only
• 49:17
  seen
• 49:17
  on
• 49:17
  online
• 49:18
  for,
• 49:18
  for
• 49:18
  a
• 49:19
  couple
• 49:19
  of
• 49:19
  years.
• 49:19
  In
• 49:19
  a
• 49:19
  lot
• 49:19
  of
• 49:20
  ways
• 49:20
  we
• 49:20
  were
• 49:20
  giving
• 49:20
  hugs
• 49:20
  like,
• 49:21
  oh,
• 49:21
  you're
• 49:21
  a
• 49:21
  real
• 49:21
  person
• 49:21
  kind
• 49:22
  of
• 49:22
  thing.
• 49:22
  And,
• 49:22
  but
• 49:22
  even
• 49:23
  in
• 49:23
  that
• 49:23
  meeting,
• 49:23
  like
• 49:24
  we,
• 49:25
  you
• 49:25
  know,
• 49:25
  we
• 49:25
  had
• 49:25
  to
• 49:25
  kind
• 49:26
  of
• 49:26
  word
• 49:26
  the
• 49:26
  wordsmith,
• 49:26
  the
• 49:26
  document
• 49:27
  that
• 49:27
  we
• 49:27
  want
• 49:27
  to
• 49:27
  put
• 49:27
  out
• 49:27
  there
• 49:28
  in
• 49:28
  the
• 49:28
  world.
• 49:28
  And
• 49:28
  man,
• 49:29
  you
• 49:29
  can't
• 49:29
  drain
• 49:29
  my
• 49:29
  energy
• 49:30
  faster
• 49:30
  than
• 49:30
  a
• 49:31
  group
• 49:31
  of
• 49:31
  People
• 49:31
  sitting
• 49:31
  there
• 49:32
  trying
• 49:32
  to
• 49:32
  wordsmith
• 49:33
  paragraphs
• 49:33
  and
• 49:33
  sentences
• 49:34
  and
• 49:34
  commas
• 49:34
  and
• 49:35
  grammar
• 49:35
  and.
• 49:36
  But
• 49:36
  it's
• 49:36
  necessary.
• 49:37
  We
• 49:37
  want
• 49:37
  to
• 49:37
  put
• 49:37
  out
• 49:37
  the
• 49:38
  right
• 49:38
  thing,
• 49:38
  like
• 49:38
  all
• 49:38
  that
• 49:39
  is
• 49:39
  necessary.
• 49:40
  But
• 49:40
  for
• 49:40
  me,
• 49:40
  I
• 49:41
  don't
• 49:41
  get
• 49:41
  any.
• 49:41
  Some
• 49:41
  people
• 49:42
  are
• 49:42
  great
• 49:42
  at
• 49:42
  it.
• 49:42
  Some
• 49:43
  people
• 49:43
  are
• 49:43
  good.
• 49:43
  They
• 49:43
  get
• 49:43
  a
• 49:43
  lot
• 49:44
  of
• 49:44
  energy
• 49:44
  off
• 49:44
  those
• 49:44
  things.
• 49:45
  I
• 49:45
  do
• 49:45
  not.
• 49:45
  So
• 49:45
  we
• 49:46
  all
• 49:46
  have
• 49:46
  our
• 49:46
  gifts
• 49:46
  and
• 49:46
  come
• 49:46
  together
• 49:47
  as
• 49:47
  a
• 49:47
  team,
• 49:47
  and
• 49:47
  how
• 49:47
  to
• 49:47
  work
• 49:48
  together
• 49:48
  as
• 49:48
  a
• 49:48
  team
• 49:48
  is
• 49:48
  really
• 49:48
  important.
• 49:49
  So
• 49:49
  I'm
• 49:49
  trying
• 49:49
  to
• 49:50
  do
• 49:50
  in
• 49:50
  church,
• 49:50
  I
• 49:50
  think
• 49:51
  in
• 49:51
  the
• 49:51
  sci
• 49:51
  fi
• 49:52
  world
• 49:53
  ecology,
• 49:53
  we
• 49:53
  work
• 49:54
  together
• 49:54
  as
• 49:54
  a
• 49:54
  team
• 49:56
  and
• 49:57
  so
• 49:57
  those
• 49:57
  kinds
• 49:57
  of
• 49:57
  things.
• 49:58
  So
• 49:58
  yeah,
• 49:58
  I
• 49:58
  had
• 49:59
  a
• 49:59
  student
• 49:59
  one
• 49:59
  time
• 50:00
  share
• 50:00
  with
• 50:01
  me.
• 50:01
  It
• 50:01
  was
• 50:01
  like,
• 50:01
  well,
• 50:01
  I'm
• 50:01
  starting
• 50:02
  to
• 50:02
  think
• 50:02
  that
• 50:02
  I'm
• 50:02
  not
• 50:02
  for
• 50:03
  organized
• 50:04
  religion,
• 50:05
  but
• 50:06
  I'm
• 50:07
  a
• 50:07
  spiritual
• 50:07
  person.
• 50:07
  And
• 50:07
  I
• 50:08
  was
• 50:08
  like,
• 50:08
  yeah,
• 50:08
  I
• 50:08
  hear
• 50:08
  you.
• 50:08
  But
• 50:08
  I
• 50:09
  knew
• 50:09
  this
• 50:09
  guy
• 50:09
  was
• 50:09
  on
• 50:11
  Relay
• 50:12
  for
• 50:12
  Life
• 50:12
  to
• 50:12
  help
• 50:13
  raise
• 50:13
  money
• 50:13
  for
• 50:13
  cancer
• 50:14
  research.
• 50:14
  And
• 50:14
  so
• 50:15
  I
• 50:15
  was
• 50:15
  like,
• 50:15
  yeah,
• 50:15
  I
• 50:15
  hear
• 50:15
  you,
• 50:16
  man.
• 50:16
  What
• 50:16
  if
• 50:17
  I
• 50:17
  told
• 50:17
  you
• 50:17
  though,
• 50:17
  that
• 50:18
  I'm.
• 50:18
  I'm
• 50:19
  for
• 50:19
  cancer
• 50:20
  research,
• 50:20
  just
• 50:20
  not
• 50:20
  organized
• 50:21
  cancer
• 50:21
  research?
• 50:22
  And
• 50:22
  he's
• 50:22
  like,
• 50:23
  what
• 50:23
  are
• 50:23
  you
• 50:23
  talking
• 50:23
  about?
• 50:23
  Of
• 50:24
  course
• 50:24
  we
• 50:24
  need
• 50:24
  to
• 50:24
  come
• 50:24
  together
• 50:25
  and
• 50:25
  we
• 50:25
  need
• 50:25
  to
• 50:25
  come
• 50:25
  up
• 50:25
  with
• 50:26
  a
• 50:26
  plan
• 50:26
  and
• 50:26
  get
• 50:26
  a
• 50:27
  strategy
• 50:27
  and
• 50:27
  a
• 50:27
  vision
• 50:27
  and
• 50:28
  help
• 50:28
  raise
• 50:28
  money.
• 50:29
  I
• 50:29
  can't
• 50:29
  do
• 50:29
  it
• 50:29
  by
• 50:29
  myself.
• 50:30
  And
• 50:30
  I'm
• 50:30
  like,
• 50:30
  exactly.
• 50:31
  And
• 50:31
  that's
• 50:31
  how
• 50:31
  religion
• 50:31
  is
• 50:32
  too.
• 50:33
  We
• 50:33
  come
• 50:34
  together,
• 50:34
  we
• 50:34
  can't
• 50:34
  do
• 50:35
  it
• 50:35
  by
• 50:35
  ourselves.
• 50:35
  We're
• 50:35
  going.
• 50:36
  And
• 50:36
  as
• 50:36
  difficult
• 50:36
  as
• 50:37
  people
• 50:37
  can
• 50:37
  be
• 50:38
  and
• 50:38
  hard
• 50:38
  as
• 50:38
  people
• 50:38
  can
• 50:39
  be,
• 50:39
  and
• 50:39
  sometimes
• 50:39
  people
• 50:40
  make
• 50:40
  bad
• 50:40
  and
• 50:40
  horrible
• 50:40
  decisions,
• 50:41
  we
• 50:41
  start
• 50:41
  to
• 50:42
  work
• 50:42
  together
• 50:42
  as
• 50:42
  a
• 50:42
  teen
• 50:42
  and
• 50:43
  a
• 50:43
  family.
• 50:43
  And
• 50:44
  even
• 50:44
  in
• 50:44
  the
• 50:44
  Star
• 50:44
  wars
• 50:44
  universe.
• 50:45
  It
• 50:45
  was.
• 50:45
  The
• 50:45
  whole
• 50:45
  point
• 50:46
  is
• 50:46
  that
• 50:46
  they
• 50:46
  got
• 50:46
  this
• 50:46
  Jedi
• 50:47
  Council
• 50:47
  and
• 50:47
  I
• 50:47
  think
• 50:48
  Yoda
• 50:48
  and
• 50:49
  Obi
• 50:50
  Wan
• 50:50
  saw
• 50:50
  the
• 50:50
  flaw
• 50:51
  of
• 50:51
  their
• 50:51
  waves.
• 50:52
  I
• 50:52
  would
• 50:52
  really
• 50:53
  love
• 50:53
  to
• 50:53
  see
• 50:54
  some
• 50:54
  storytelling.
• 50:55
  We
• 50:55
  got
• 50:55
  the
• 50:55
  sequel
• 50:57
  trilogy
• 50:57
  with
• 50:57
  Force
• 50:58
  Awakens
• 50:58
  and
• 50:58
  Last
• 50:58
  Jedi
• 50:59
  and
• 50:59
  the
• 50:59
  Rise
• 51:00
  of
• 51:00
  Skywalker.
• 51:00
  I
• 51:00
  would
• 51:00
  love
• 51:01
  to
• 51:01
  see
• 51:01
  it
• 51:01
  in
• 51:01
  between
• 51:03
  Return
• 51:03
  of
• 51:03
  the
• 51:03
  Jedi
• 51:04
  and
• 51:04
  the
• 51:04
  Force
• 51:04
  Awakens
• 51:05
  and
• 51:05
  the
• 51:05
  building
• 51:05
  up
• 51:06
  of
• 51:06
  the
• 51:06
  Jedi
• 51:06
  Academy
• 51:07
  and
• 51:08
  what
• 51:08
  Jedi
• 51:09
  were
• 51:09
  brought
• 51:09
  together
• 51:10
  to
• 51:10
  be
• 51:10
  a
• 51:10
  new
• 51:10
  kind
• 51:11
  of
• 51:11
  council,
• 51:11
  do
• 51:11
  things
• 51:12
  a
• 51:12
  little
• 51:12
  differently.
• 51:12
  I
• 51:12
  heard
• 51:13
  rumors
• 51:13
  that
• 51:13
  there
• 51:13
  may
• 51:13
  be
• 51:14
  like
• 51:14
  an
• 51:14
  animated
• 51:15
  series,
• 51:15
  a
• 51:15
  Luke
• 51:15
  Skywalker
• 51:16
  animated
• 51:16
  series
• 51:17
  that
• 51:17
  they're
• 51:18
  going
• 51:18
  to
• 51:18
  produce
• 51:18
  or
• 51:18
  hopefully
• 51:19
  do.
• 51:19
  And
• 51:19
  I
• 51:19
  would
• 51:19
  love
• 51:19
  to
• 51:19
  see
• 51:20
  this
• 51:20
  rise
• 51:20
  of
• 51:21
  a
• 51:21
  Jedi
• 51:21
  Council
• 51:22
  in
• 51:22
  a
• 51:22
  new
• 51:22
  way
• 51:23
  of
• 51:23
  an
• 51:24
  academy
• 51:24
  of
• 51:25
  how
• 51:25
  to
• 51:25
  do
• 51:25
  this
• 51:25
  Jedi
• 51:26
  religion
• 51:26
  with
• 51:26
  the
• 51:26
  text
• 51:27
  they've
• 51:27
  kept.
• 51:28
  But
• 51:28
  learning
• 51:28
  from
• 51:29
  that
• 51:29
  attachments
• 51:29
  aren't
• 51:30
  all
• 51:30
  that
• 51:30
  bad.
• 51:30
  Maybe
• 51:31
  caring
• 51:31
  for
• 51:32
  your
• 51:32
  loved
• 51:32
  ones
• 51:32
  and
• 51:32
  those
• 51:32
  you
• 51:33
  care
• 51:33
  about
• 51:33
  isn't
• 51:34
  all
• 51:34
  that
• 51:34
  bad
• 51:34
  as
• 51:34
  well.
• 51:35
  So
• 51:35
  I
• 51:35
  would
• 51:35
  love
• 51:35
  to
• 51:35
  see
• 51:36
  how
• 51:36
  that
• 51:36
  would
• 51:36
  unfold
• 51:36
  in
• 51:37
  a
• 51:37
  kind
• 51:37
  of
• 51:37
  a
• 51:37
  new
• 51:37
  Jedi
• 51:38
  Order
• 51:38
  kind
• 51:38
  of
• 51:39
  thing.
• 51:39
  As
• 51:40
  long
• 51:40
  as
• 51:40
  you're
• 51:40
  okay
• 51:41
  seeing
• 51:41
  them
• 51:41
  eventually
• 51:42
  get
• 51:42
  slaughtered,
• 51:42
  because
• 51:43
  you
• 51:43
  know
• 51:43
  that.
• 51:43
  That's
• 51:44
  eventual
• 51:44
  outcome,
• 51:46
  which
• 51:46
  I
• 51:46
  can
• 51:46
  ignore.
• 51:47
  An
• 51:48
  alternate
• 51:48
  timeline
• 51:48
  of
• 51:49
  what
• 51:49
  happens
• 51:49
  in
• 51:50
  the
• 51:50
  last
• 51:50
  Jedi
• 51:51
  when
• 51:51
  it
• 51:51
  comes
• 51:51
  to
• 51:51
  that
• 51:52
  whole
• 51:52
  Jedi
• 51:53
  Order
• 51:53
  being
• 51:53
  slaughtered.
• 51:54
  Yeah,
• 51:54
  I
• 51:54
  know,
• 51:54
  I
• 51:55
  know.
• 51:55
  So
• 51:55
  we
• 51:55
  knew
• 51:56
  Darth
• 51:56
  Vader,
• 51:56
  we
• 51:56
  knew
• 51:57
  the
• 51:57
  Clone
• 51:57
  wars
• 51:58
  weren't
• 51:58
  going
• 51:58
  to
• 51:58
  end
• 51:58
  well,
• 51:58
  and
• 51:58
  we
• 51:59
  still
• 51:59
  follow
• 51:59
  that
• 51:59
  journey
• 51:59
  all
• 52:00
  the
• 52:00
  way
• 52:00
  through.
• 52:00
  So
• 52:00
  that's
• 52:01
  kind
• 52:01
  of
• 52:01
  what
• 52:01
  we're.
• 52:01
  What
• 52:01
  we're
• 52:01
  doing
• 52:02
  here.
• 52:02
  Cool.
• 52:03
  Y',
• 52:04
  all,
• 52:04
  this
• 52:04
  has
• 52:04
  been
• 52:04
  super
• 52:04
  fun.
• 52:05
  I
• 52:06
  really
• 52:06
  appreciate
• 52:07
  everyone,
• 52:07
  my
• 52:08
  fellow
• 52:08
  geekologists
• 52:09
  here
• 52:09
  and
• 52:09
  the
• 52:09
  listeners
• 52:10
  and
• 52:10
  your
• 52:10
  support.
• 52:11
  Yeah.
• 52:11
  Go
• 52:12
  out
• 52:12
  there,
• 52:12
  share
• 52:12
  this
• 52:12
  with
• 52:12
  a
• 52:13
  friend,
• 52:14
  be
• 52:14
  lights
• 52:14
  of
• 52:15
  the
• 52:15
  good
• 52:15
  side
• 52:15
  of
• 52:15
  the
• 52:15
  Force,
• 52:16
  and
• 52:16
  share
• 52:17
  an
• 52:17
  episode.
• 52:18
  We
• 52:18
  want
• 52:18
  to
• 52:18
  thank
• 52:19
  our
• 52:19
  financial
• 52:19
  supporters
• 52:20
  again,
• 52:20
  Gunner,
• 52:20
  thanks,
• 52:21
  buddy.
• 52:21
  We
• 52:21
  appreciate
• 52:21
  all
• 52:22
  that
• 52:22
  you
• 52:22
  do.
• 52:23
  At
• 52:23
  the
• 52:23
  end
• 52:23
  of
• 52:24
  this,
• 52:24
  you
• 52:24
  can
• 52:24
  go
• 52:25
  to
• 52:26
  the
• 52:26
  playlist
• 52:26
  and
• 52:27
  go
• 52:27
  into
• 52:27
  the
• 52:27
  show
• 52:27
  notes
• 52:27
  and
• 52:28
  find
• 52:28
  where
• 52:28
  you
• 52:28
  can
• 52:28
  find
• 52:28
  us
• 52:28
  on
• 52:28
  fourth
• 52:29
  wall
• 52:29
  and
• 52:29
  go
• 52:29
  over
• 52:30
  there
• 52:30
  and
• 52:30
  be
• 52:30
  a
• 52:31
  member.
• 52:31
  You
• 52:31
  can
• 52:31
  even
• 52:31
  be
• 52:31
  a
• 52:31
  free
• 52:32
  member
• 52:32
  over
• 52:32
  there.
• 52:32
  And
• 52:33
  we're
• 52:33
  have
• 52:33
  a
• 52:33
  bonus
• 52:33
  question
• 52:34
  that
• 52:34
  you
• 52:35
  can
• 52:35
  get
• 52:35
  a
• 52:35
  git
• 52:35
  over
• 52:36
  on
• 52:36
  our
• 52:36
  fourth
• 52:37
  qualified.
• 52:37
  And
• 52:37
  the.
• 52:37
  And
• 52:38
  I
• 52:38
  know
• 52:38
  you're
• 52:39
  dying
• 52:39
  to
• 52:39
  know.
• 52:39
  I
• 52:39
  think
• 52:39
  you
• 52:39
  might
• 52:40
  have
• 52:40
  heard
• 52:40
  our
• 52:40
  takes
• 52:41
  on.
• 52:42
  On
• 52:43
  Board
• 52:43
  of
• 52:44
  Directors
• 52:44
  and
• 52:45
  councils.
• 52:45
  But,
• 52:45
  you
• 52:46
  know,
• 52:46
  if.
• 52:46
  If,
• 52:47
  you
• 52:48
  know,
• 52:48
  John
• 52:49
  and
• 52:49
  Kevin
• 52:49
  and
• 52:49
  I
• 52:50
  were
• 52:50
  on
• 52:50
  the
• 52:50
  Jedi
• 52:51
  Council,
• 52:51
  what
• 52:52
  role
• 52:52
  would
• 52:53
  we
• 52:53
  have?
• 52:54
  Would
• 52:54
  we
• 52:54
  be
• 52:54
  the
• 52:55
  skeptic?
• 52:55
  Would
• 52:56
  we
• 52:56
  the
• 52:56
  rule
• 52:56
  follower?
• 52:57
  Or
• 52:57
  we
• 52:57
  be
• 52:58
  the
• 52:58
  contrarian?
• 52:58
  Will
• 52:59
  we
• 52:59
  be
• 52:59
  the
• 52:59
  rebel?
• 53:00
  I
• 53:00
  don't.
• 53:00
  I
• 53:00
  don't
• 53:00
  know.
• 53:01
  What
• 53:01
  would
• 53:01
  our
• 53:02
  role
• 53:02
  be?
• 53:02
  Or
• 53:02
  see
• 53:02
  ourselves?
• 53:03
  And
• 53:04
  maybe.
• 53:04
  Maybe
• 53:04
  John's
• 53:05
  the
• 53:05
  treasure
• 53:06
  of
• 53:06
  the.
• 53:06
  Of
• 53:06
  the
• 53:06
  Jedi
• 53:07
  Order.
• 53:07
  Maybe
• 53:07
  he's
• 53:07
  the
• 53:08
  one
• 53:08
  who
• 53:08
  keeps
• 53:08
  up
• 53:08
  with
• 53:08
  all
• 53:08
  their
• 53:09
  credits.
• 53:09
  I
• 53:09
  don't
• 53:10
  know.
• 53:10
  We're
• 53:10
  gonna
• 53:10
  find
• 53:10
  out.
• 53:11
  So
• 53:11
  you
• 53:11
  can
• 53:11
  find
• 53:11
  that
• 53:11
  on
• 53:11
  Hop
• 53:12
  over
• 53:12
  the
• 53:12
  fourth
• 53:12
  Wall
• 53:13
  and.
• 53:13
  And.
• 53:14
  And.
• 53:14
  And
• 53:14
  do
• 53:14
  that.
• 53:15
  So,
• 53:15
  yeah,
• 53:16
  we're
• 53:16
  gonna
• 53:16
  try
• 53:16
  this
• 53:16
  here.
• 53:17
  I'm
• 53:18
  gonna
• 53:18
  say
• 53:19
  may
• 53:19
  the
• 53:19
  Fourth
• 53:20
  be
• 53:20
  with
• 53:20
  you.
• 53:20
  And
• 53:20
  then
• 53:21
  Kevin
• 53:21
  and
• 53:21
  John
• 53:21
  and
• 53:22
  I
• 53:22
  are
• 53:22
  gonna
• 53:22
  say
• 53:22
  together
• 53:24
  and
• 53:24
  also
• 53:24
  with
• 53:25
  you.
• 53:25
  So
• 53:25
  we're
• 53:25
  gonna.
• 53:25
  Let's.
• 53:26
  Let's
• 53:26
  see
• 53:26
  if
• 53:26
  we
• 53:26
  can.
• 53:26
  We
• 53:27
  have
• 53:27
  our
• 53:27
  shirts
• 53:27
  out
• 53:27
  there
• 53:27
  out
• 53:28
  in
• 53:28
  the
• 53:28
  wild.
• 53:28
  If
• 53:28
  you
• 53:28
  haven't
• 53:29
  gotten
• 53:29
  yours,
• 53:29
  go
• 53:29
  get
• 53:29
  it.
• 53:30
  Here
• 53:30
  we
• 53:30
  go.
• 53:30
  All
• 53:30
  right,
• 53:31
  so
• 53:32
  on
• 53:32
  this
• 53:32
  May
• 53:32
  4,
• 53:33
  2026,
• 53:34
  I
• 53:34
  want
• 53:34
  to
• 53:34
  wish
• 53:35
  all
• 53:35
  of
• 53:35
  you,
• 53:36
  may
• 53:36
  the
• 53:36
  Fourth
• 53:37
  be
• 53:37
  with
• 53:37
  you,
• 53:38
  and
• 53:38
  also.
• 53:39
  And
• 53:39
  also
• 53:40
  with
• 53:40
  you.
• 53:40
  Look
• 53:41
  at
• 53:41
  us.
• 53:41
  You
• 53:41
  know,
• 53:41
  we're
• 53:41
  liturgical.
• 53:42
  We're
• 53:42
  liturgical
• 53:43
  geeks.
• 53:43
  Here
• 53:43
  we
• 53:43
  go.
• 53:44
  Peace.
• 53:45
  Y'
