Russell Brand convicted of rape and sexual assault in London trial

Russell Brand was convicted at Southwark Crown Court for the rape of one individual and sexual assault involving three others. The case also looked into other claims where he was cleared, such as accusations of rape from two additional women and an alleged attempt to commit indecent assault by a fourth. One victim confirmed that Brand touched her breasts while she was employed at Choice FM during 2004 or 2005. A second woman stated he assaulted her during a Channel 4 recording in 2009. The jury determined that Brand was responsible for sexually assaulting both of these individuals.
