- 0:56Speaker 3: day here in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 0:59Speaker 1: A little on the chili side.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Big Kenny has pulled out the shearling, Uh to stay warm.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Commands you. Greg is in the building. We are ready
- 1:10Speaker 3: to go, right fellas, Yes we are.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We ready to go? Are we ready to go?
- 1:18Speaker 5: So?
- 1:18Speaker 1: What about command? I'm saying?
- 1:20Speaker 6: He his he's me didn't sound didn't sound like very weish,
- 1:27Speaker 6: You know what I mean? His me don't sound weish?
- 1:30Speaker 6: So are you ready to command? Your great I'm is here,
- 1:34Speaker 6: is here? Okay, that sounds like.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Our gang.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Matter be with you on this Thursday morning rolling into
- 1:47Speaker 3: daylight savings time. Yes, uh, you're gonna miss an hour
- 1:53Speaker 3: come Sunday. I'm just telling you now so you can prepare.
- 1:56Speaker 3: You know, you Americans, y'all are so stil about any
- 2:01Speaker 3: change of anything. So you know, people, you should just
- 2:07Speaker 3: let this happen and move on. Now, it's a national
- 2:10Speaker 3: debate phone book. Just let it happen.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Get into it, unless unless you live in Arizona, unless
- 2:21Speaker 7: you Arizona or Indianapolis or Indianapolis.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yes, those states have decided or cities have decided to
- 2:28Speaker 3: just stay on the same.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Right timeline. They go to sleep and wake up and
- 2:33Speaker 1: it to be so they're not going to participate. They
- 2:35Speaker 1: never do.
- 2:36Speaker 3: So three billion p I mean three hundred and twenty
- 2:40Speaker 3: million people are yes, but seven million aren't.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Be good?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Okay, Well there you go. That sounded like America. Yeah,
- 2:50Speaker 3: do we do anything as Americans altogether?
- 2:53Speaker 6: Well, I think it's interesting Indiana doesn't participate in daylight
- 2:57Speaker 6: Saving Time, but they also have a place called Kentuckyana
- 3:04Speaker 6: where they share a city with Kentucky, and like the
- 3:10Speaker 6: state of Kentucky. So it's on one side they do
- 3:13Speaker 6: do it, and then you cross so when they have
- 3:16Speaker 6: daylight saving time, like on my side in the county line,
- 3:20Speaker 6: it's an hour earlier, and then on your side you're
- 3:24Speaker 6: still regular time. And so you know, maybe that's why
- 3:27Speaker 6: we don't do a lot of stuff together because we
- 3:28Speaker 6: confuse it. Yeah, that would be a little yeah, confusing
- 3:33Speaker 6: because it's in the same state or is it just
- 3:35Speaker 6: at the border.
- 3:36Speaker 1: No, No, it's in the same.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Because you know, any time you cross over the state
- 3:40Speaker 3: line if I go to Alabama behind right right.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Like, well, it's like East St. Louis, Illinois. Okay, right, gotcha,
- 3:48Speaker 6: that kind of like that thing.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Okay, got you? So East and Kentucky Anda, Yeah, Kentucky, Kentucky.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 4:00Speaker 3: As I say, daylight Taming time ill will be taking
- 4:04Speaker 3: place on Sunday. If you're most likely, you know, living
- 4:11Speaker 3: your life in order, you will be sleep at that time,
- 4:17Speaker 3: which I believe that most people buy the two A
- 4:20Speaker 3: M bail are sleep right, you know, but in regardless
- 4:24Speaker 3: of what you're doing, mostly times around that time you're sleep.
- 4:29Speaker 3: So it just affects you as far as when you
- 4:31Speaker 3: wake up some people wake up with a little surprise
- 4:33Speaker 3: to them that it's not eight o'clock it's nine o'clock.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You know, Well, do you do you when they?
- 4:40Speaker 6: I don't know if any of you still have manual
- 4:42Speaker 6: clocks in your homes? No?
- 4:45Speaker 1: Oh, okay, do you have watches? Manual watches?
- 4:49Speaker 8: No?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Not really.
- 4:52Speaker 6: I see I'm still super but you called me, and yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 6: I'm aniquainted. I was going to ask do you do
- 4:59Speaker 6: you do your switching of your time pieces in the cars?
- 5:03Speaker 1: I have to switch? Right?
- 5:04Speaker 6: Do you do it before you go to bed or
- 5:06Speaker 6: do you do it after you wake up?
- 5:10Speaker 1: I do it after it happens. It's not one of those.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I do I do it before going to bed
- 5:17Speaker 6: because why because I'm besleep at two am. But you're
- 5:21Speaker 6: gonna get up right, and when I get up, it'll
- 5:24Speaker 6: be the right time.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I don't want to get up in the NB. This
- 5:33Speaker 3: is what happened when you long term use of marijuana, right, Hey, hey,
- 5:37Speaker 3: I don't. I stopped thirty minutes before I got here.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I don't know what that long term means. Yeah, are
- 5:45Speaker 3: you guys planning on participating in the forty day target boycott?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Not shooting it? Stuff for forty days or Target practice? Target? Target?
- 5:58Speaker 3: You know what we're talking about, Target, the shopping retailer. Now,
- 6:04Speaker 3: I know, Commanding Greg told me he was going to participate,
- 6:07Speaker 3: so he will. Now which one of these boycotts is it?
- 6:10Speaker 6: Is this the just shopping on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at
- 6:12Speaker 6: Target boycott? Or this that we just gonna shop on
- 6:16Speaker 6: Thursdays during Black History boycott?
- 6:19Speaker 1: Which one is it?
- 6:20Speaker 9: Now?
- 6:20Speaker 7: I only go to Target maybe once a month, so
- 6:24Speaker 7: it might just accidentally work out for me.
- 6:27Speaker 3: So yeah, how frequently are you going to? Typically places
- 6:33Speaker 3: like Target, Walmart are some things that you do on
- 6:37Speaker 3: a monthly or maybe twice a month, right, because the
- 6:41Speaker 3: products you usually are getting.
- 6:42Speaker 1: There can take you, yeah, for a while.
- 6:46Speaker 3: But Commanding Greg sent me this article that led by
- 6:51Speaker 3: one of the local pastors here in Atlanta, Jamal Bryant,
- 6:56Speaker 3: that they were going to do a forty day boycott
- 7:00Speaker 3: of Target because now all of a sudden, Uh, they're
- 7:04Speaker 3: not happy with Targets DEI regulations, correct, right, because they
- 7:11Speaker 3: have rolled that along with a bunch of other companies
- 7:17Speaker 3: that are the DEI I Guess Initiative initiative supposed to
- 7:26Speaker 3: quit their job as well.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Well, a lot of those that are handling those initiatives,
- 7:33Speaker 7: or that were handling those initiatives.
- 7:35Speaker 10: Have.
- 7:37Speaker 3: About the actual employees of target. If I go up
- 7:40Speaker 3: here to my target and everyone in there falls under
- 7:43Speaker 3: the umbrella of what would be considered.
- 7:48Speaker 7: As a higher I mean they that's up to them.
- 7:52Speaker 7: That's up to that individual employee to quit.
- 7:54Speaker 3: So you're not asking them to not asking them to quit,
- 7:57Speaker 3: just asking me not to shop?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Right? Wait?
- 7:59Speaker 6: Wait now, now, which which one of these? Which one
- 8:02Speaker 6: of these protests is it? Because I saw the protest
- 8:07Speaker 6: of the day of the black dollar where they shopped black.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Where on this day.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Black shoppers are going to flood Target and buy all
- 8:19Speaker 6: of the black products so that target could see the value?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Was that before the de I thing?
- 8:26Speaker 6: Listen, I thought, now a lot of this I might
- 8:29Speaker 6: not be up to speed on because I thought, dr,
- 8:32Speaker 6: where are.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You'll getting these? Is this a website? I thought the
- 8:37Speaker 1: e I was pronounced.
- 8:39Speaker 7: People posted on social media and if some people, if
- 8:43Speaker 7: enough people pay attention to it, it gets uh.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And why why is social media so influential? And why
- 8:51Speaker 1: does it have a random person? I always feel like
- 8:55Speaker 1: it's a it's a random person. And now to say
- 8:57Speaker 1: that Jamal Brian is necessarily random because he yeah, he's
- 9:01Speaker 1: But the person who like makes these these posters or
- 9:06Speaker 1: says something, I don't know who they are personally, so
- 9:10Speaker 1: it's it just it just looks like a random person
- 9:12Speaker 1: to me. But then enough people have uh, have shared this,
- 9:18Speaker 1: have shared this information, and they use they use social
- 9:20Speaker 1: media because they feel that's the fastest way to get
- 9:22Speaker 1: something out.
- 9:23Speaker 3: We reading different cases too of people having to start
- 9:27Speaker 3: go fund means because people on social media start them
- 9:31Speaker 3: for them and steal money. Is that not something that
- 9:35Speaker 3: is going on as well?
- 9:37Speaker 7: That happened if if they you know, if they're fabricating
- 9:40Speaker 7: some kind of some kind of story that that can happen.
- 9:45Speaker 7: Ever someone does it on someone's behalf. If we're supposed
- 9:48Speaker 7: to like this story of the guy who made the
- 9:53Speaker 7: halftime the half court shot, but the company wasn't going
- 9:57Speaker 7: to pay because his foot was on the line, they
- 10:00Speaker 7: weren't going to pay him the ten thousand dollars, and
- 10:02Speaker 7: some people started to go fund me for him, and
- 10:04Speaker 7: then it turns out it was the school.
- 10:06Speaker 1: That didn't want to pay, not the company sponsor.
- 10:09Speaker 6: And see that's my problem with a lot of So
- 10:11Speaker 6: that's my problem with social media stuff is the validity
- 10:15Speaker 6: of it. You have people who are quote unquote life
- 10:17Speaker 6: coaches doing videos giving advice, and then there's a crackhead
- 10:22Speaker 6: in front of the liquor stole just giving advice on
- 10:25Speaker 6: social media, and they both have about the same number
- 10:29Speaker 6: of followers. So I really don't know whose advice is working.
- 10:34Speaker 6: So I just try and stick with my little thing. Now,
- 10:37Speaker 6: let me ask you this when it comes to the again,
- 10:40Speaker 6: I thought DEEI was pronounced day.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's d.
- 10:46Speaker 6: You have to say the admission, okay, the acronym. Now,
- 10:51Speaker 6: are the people at my Target who are working in
- 10:54Speaker 6: there necessarily falling under that category benefiting from those initiatives
- 11:03Speaker 6: just because they are people of color? Doesn't DEI far
- 11:07Speaker 6: extend beyond that?
- 11:11Speaker 7: In Target's case, it it does based on the club
- 11:17Speaker 7: by saw that with Jamal Bryant, you know, in the
- 11:19Speaker 7: Breakfast Club. Target has over four hundred thousand black employees
- 11:26Speaker 7: in their stores across the country. But was that through
- 11:32Speaker 7: a DEI initiative or it's like.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And see that. That's what I'm saying because I thought
- 11:37Speaker 1: their merit.
- 11:38Speaker 6: I thought the EI a lot of what some people
- 11:42Speaker 6: who had questions about thee I had when it connected
- 11:46Speaker 6: to the boy.
- 11:47Speaker 3: But everybody should not go to Walmart, nobody should go
- 11:50Speaker 3: to a game.
- 11:51Speaker 1: What else should we boycott? I mean, wasn't that affirmative
- 11:54Speaker 1: action that's.
- 11:55Speaker 7: Supposed to go to all the or you're not supposed
- 11:57Speaker 7: to go to Starbucks?
- 12:00Speaker 1: But can I go to? Where can I go?
- 12:03Speaker 7: You gotta go to the local black owned. Uh, they
- 12:09Speaker 7: don't have they don't have what I use.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Now.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Until Jamal Bryant said, don't use black owned that you're
- 12:17Speaker 6: looking for, I actually don't research all that. That's what
- 12:22Speaker 6: I'm saying. Until Jamal Bryant said, don't go to Starbucks.
- 12:24Speaker 6: You were cool with Starbucks if you if you went there.
- 12:27Speaker 6: And that's my big back for the.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Sports Jock Show.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah, all of a sudden, when things just instantly supposed
- 12:33Speaker 3: to be out of favor, I'll never get don't go
- 12:37Speaker 3: to Saunds Gas two thousand and four.
- 12:39Speaker 1: We'll be back to sports after. So get a twelve
- 12:44Speaker 1: pack up Coronas plus throw.

- 15:55Speaker 4: This year where we highlight an accolade that has taken
- 15:58Speaker 4: their game to the next level.
- 16:00Speaker 1: They played.
- 16:13Speaker 16: Hey, I just went about to watch with a whole
- 16:16Speaker 16: lot of domins of shoddy shody. My tongue took a
- 16:18Speaker 16: shop baster Callie to hang with the making to this
- 16:21Speaker 16: boy shop showing this boy shock, Wayne Candy, Good morning
- 16:24Speaker 16: to you.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Uh. The Golden State.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has never shot away from
- 16:30Speaker 3: letting his opinion be known on a variety of topics
- 16:34Speaker 3: throughout his coaching career. You didn't really hear much from
- 16:39Speaker 3: Steve on the hot button topics when he played and
- 16:45Speaker 3: once he went into some doing some broadcasting and especially
- 16:49Speaker 3: as a head coach. Uh, he's never shot away right
- 16:53Speaker 3: or wrong for speaking his mind.
- 16:56Speaker 7: Uh.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Last week, Steve Kerr similar to Boston Celtics head coach
- 17:02Speaker 3: who wants to get rid of halftime Joe Missulu right,
- 17:07Speaker 3: who feels like halftime is a waste of time, Steve
- 17:12Speaker 3: Kerr wants the NBA to start enforcing the traveling rule.
- 17:23Speaker 1: You mean the euro step.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Well, that's the fancy name they gave it now, the
- 17:30Speaker 3: euro step, and it's defence. All the euro step is
- 17:35Speaker 3: is that my two steps aren't necessarily forward. That's all
- 17:45Speaker 3: the difference is. So the baskets there and in your mind,
- 17:51Speaker 3: if you ever played the game, you took your two
- 17:54Speaker 3: steps towards the basket. The euro step is basically I
- 18:00Speaker 3: can take my first step.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Towards the door.
- 18:05Speaker 3: And then my second step toward towards the free throw line,
- 18:11Speaker 3: and then shoot, I didn't have I didn't go towards.
- 18:14Speaker 3: So it's just more of Uh, it's not that you're traveling.
- 18:18Speaker 3: You're just not taking your two steps. And and then
- 18:21Speaker 3: and then I modified that.
- 18:23Speaker 6: So now I'm gonna take one step toward the door,
- 18:25Speaker 6: one step towards the free throw line.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna do a bunny hot. Now that's traveling.
- 18:29Speaker 6: I know that's step no no euro step in a
- 18:34Speaker 6: little bit, don't.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Wasn't.
- 18:38Speaker 7: And then it gets more complexes. It depends on when
- 18:42Speaker 7: did you in your dribbles. When you dribble is when
- 18:45Speaker 7: you have both of you. That's what I'm saying. That's
- 18:48Speaker 7: a for you all to figure out. I'm just telling
- 18:50Speaker 7: you so two points.
- 18:52Speaker 1: That's all.
- 18:52Speaker 7: I know a lot and a lot of it because
- 18:55Speaker 7: I see this online a lot too, like seeing something
- 18:58Speaker 7: that looks like a travel but we're not supposed to
- 19:01Speaker 7: be like just counting steps before someone shoots. You can
- 19:04Speaker 7: take as many steps between dribbles as long as it's
- 19:08Speaker 7: still alive dribbles.
- 19:12Speaker 1: So this is international.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Well, Steve Kurr is saying traveling period, he's not talking
- 19:19Speaker 3: about yet. He didn't quantify whether it was EU real step.
- 19:23Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying for a long time now, and
- 19:27Speaker 3: I always I really put this on. I noticed it
- 19:35Speaker 3: once the Jordan era started. They were giving lee way.
- 19:44Speaker 3: If you ever played basketball and someone's guarding you, the
- 19:48Speaker 3: ball is actually supposed to hit the floor before you step.
- 19:53Speaker 3: The NBA started letting you simultaneously step and the ball
- 19:59Speaker 3: his the floor. That used to be a traveling They
- 20:04Speaker 3: started letting that happen if you're making a move towards
- 20:07Speaker 3: the goal, especially a spectacular play like a dunk. They
- 20:13Speaker 3: started letting like you're saying, like the first step didn't count.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Zero step.
- 20:24Speaker 3: The first step, and if you're making a spectacular play,
- 20:30Speaker 3: and I always tell people will mathematically, you can't get
- 20:38Speaker 3: the ball to the glass from the three point line
- 20:44Speaker 3: in two steps. You can't. You can take two steps
- 20:51Speaker 3: and shoot the ball a little floater or something in
- 20:53Speaker 3: the air, but you can't go from the three point
- 20:57Speaker 3: line to the window or glass on two steps. And
- 21:03Speaker 3: see that's what I'm saying, No, not even I don't
- 21:05Speaker 3: care if you're ben you honest, and see that that
- 21:08Speaker 3: to me, I've seen him do it, and that to me,
- 21:13Speaker 3: it doesn't even have to get that technical for me.
- 21:15Speaker 3: When they inbound the ball, I've seen dude like just
- 21:19Speaker 3: tucking under his arm and walk to that to the
- 21:22Speaker 3: half court line and then start bouncing the ball. And
- 21:25Speaker 3: I'm like, that's completely traveling. Like he's not even bouncing it,
- 21:29Speaker 3: He's just carrying the ball.
- 21:30Speaker 7: I did see Russell Westbrook do that, but it ten
- 21:34Speaker 7: seconds for them to wait.
- 21:36Speaker 6: He does it all the time. It looks like he's
- 21:39Speaker 6: playing rugby. They int bound it to rusting.
- 21:42Speaker 1: He just towed the ball for about five steps and
- 21:44Speaker 1: then he.
- 21:45Speaker 3: But now someone as a Steve Kerr that has with
- 21:50Speaker 3: his team dominated you know, the NBA here the last
- 21:55Speaker 3: ten years with Golden State, is this something where the
- 22:03Speaker 3: front office now has to the higher b alan Silver
- 22:07Speaker 3: really do have to at least this offseason get back
- 22:14Speaker 3: to the basics, because it has become almost like there's
- 22:18Speaker 3: another almost like I always talked about with football college
- 22:24Speaker 3: one step pros two steps in college. In college basketball,
- 22:29Speaker 3: they seem to be a little more traditional on holding
- 22:34Speaker 3: to the playbook, I mean the officiating book right, the
- 22:38Speaker 3: rules book, the rule book now, I think a lot
- 22:41Speaker 3: whereas the NBA gives a little well.
- 22:43Speaker 6: I think a lot of what the NBA is suffering
- 22:46Speaker 6: from or this is a symptom of all of those
- 22:51Speaker 6: what started off as entertainment leagues and won the three
- 22:56Speaker 6: on three the ballers, and that a love excitement they
- 23:01Speaker 6: wanted to bring to the NBA audience. And so some
- 23:05Speaker 6: of that requires a bunny how.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Some of that.
- 23:09Speaker 6: And so they started going on, looked the ticket sales
- 23:12Speaker 6: and going up. These people love the dunk thing. Maybe
- 23:15Speaker 6: we'll jump a car one day. And now we're all
- 23:18Speaker 6: the way here. But I think that's what it was.
- 23:21Speaker 6: We want to see some of the hot sauce, some
- 23:23Speaker 6: of the all of that, and that's gonna require bunny hot.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Well, I just know that it's I know, as fans
- 23:29Speaker 3: we sit on the sideline and say it for a
- 23:32Speaker 3: coach to stand up at a podium and and have
- 23:35Speaker 3: realized the coach one way too far with this traveling.
- 23:39Speaker 6: Yeah, see Russell carrying that ball. He got to touch
- 23:41Speaker 6: this already half court it's tuck under his arm.
- 23:45Speaker 1: We'll be back after this.
- 23:49Speaker 17: But what I'm trying to tell you what every man
- 23:51Speaker 17: is a woman that will make him change, change, and
- 23:54Speaker 17: never leave you.
- 23:55Speaker 18: The woman that will make me man to show you you.

- 26:06Speaker 1: Brought to you by the AD Council. And now back
- 26:12Speaker 1: to the sports Giant wing the Red ce.
- 26:28Speaker 9: Soir, don't mean I'm the one with the blows. I'm
- 26:35Speaker 9: the one who go homies that big selling drugs. I'm
- 26:38Speaker 9: the one on the back street with Freddie by the
- 26:42Speaker 9: run like ATHLETs.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Welcome back to the sport Shock Show.
- 26:46Speaker 3: I'm the Sport Shop Win Games, comments Greg McKinney in
- 26:49Speaker 3: the studio. Last week, the Dallas Mavericks were dealt another
- 26:55Speaker 3: blow with Kyrie Irving. I remember, you know, know Browt Anthony
- 27:02Speaker 3: Davis already out being injured the first game doing that trade.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Now Kyrie Irving is out towards ACL. For you people
- 27:15Speaker 3: out there with the speculation it was too much playing time,
- 27:17Speaker 3: That's not really how the ACL works.
- 27:20Speaker 1: It's not like.
- 27:22Speaker 3: There's this scientific way of how I tore my a
- 27:26Speaker 3: CL and then to do it playing time. It can
- 27:29Speaker 3: be torn. It's a ligament. It can be overused, it
- 27:33Speaker 3: can be the wrong angle. Kyrie is one of the
- 27:36Speaker 3: quicker movement. Dark guys fake you out all that, you know,
- 27:43Speaker 3: And when I saw that, I'm like, man, we're our society.
- 27:46Speaker 3: We're so quick to need to find someone. What about
- 27:52Speaker 3: the guys that to the A C L and nobody
- 27:54Speaker 3: even touches them. You ever seen that in football games?
- 27:57Speaker 3: I catched the ball, goes throw the move, ain't nobody
- 28:00Speaker 3: He's jogging to the sideline and then he just goes
- 28:03Speaker 3: down and the accommentators go non contact and that's bad,
- 28:09Speaker 3: which is the word, that's bad.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Non contact injury. He was running to the sidelines and
- 28:14Speaker 6: now they're bringing out the stretcher and so that happens.
- 28:17Speaker 6: I don't understand this people complaining about his playing time.
- 28:22Speaker 6: The guys who go up to the top of the
- 28:24Speaker 6: cell phone towers, they wear those tethering belts to keep
- 28:28Speaker 6: them secure to the tower because part of the job's risk.
- 28:34Speaker 1: You might fall if you ain't hooked on something.
- 28:37Speaker 6: Professional athlete do a lot of running, do a lot
- 28:40Speaker 6: of jumping in basketball. Isn't that a flea that comes
- 28:44Speaker 6: with this dog? Why are we talking about the amount
- 28:47Speaker 6: of time you play? That's the season that that's what
- 28:50Speaker 6: we quantified, how long we need you to play season?
- 28:55Speaker 7: Do people still not grasp that injuries can happen, like
- 29:00Speaker 7: trying to find a reason like this is an injury.
- 29:02Speaker 7: We've seen a lot and it's a variety of ways
- 29:06Speaker 7: that can happen, like you said, and that it can't happen.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a thing of in modern time with all
- 29:15Speaker 3: things that happen with us. We saw it doing COVID
- 29:19Speaker 3: where we are humors as humans. We've gotten so far
- 29:24Speaker 3: to believe that we already know every disease is ever
- 29:32Speaker 3: going to show up on this planet. We got a
- 29:35Speaker 3: vaccine for it already. It ain't happened yet. Mongolian fluid, it.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Got it.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Bring it on, Mongolians, Like we're so far into you know,
- 29:48Speaker 3: I don't know whether it's just uh we see sci
- 29:51Speaker 3: fi movies and just believe. But the same thing in
- 29:54Speaker 3: sports that there is this way that the bill also
- 30:00Speaker 3: in them trained that is different and will help you
- 30:07Speaker 3: avoid injury in the Mardern day because the day we
- 30:09Speaker 3: do that same exercise with a parachute, See building was
- 30:13Speaker 3: doing it with a peach basket, and now if you
- 30:16Speaker 3: do it a parachute, there won't be no more injuries.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Right because the peach basket they kept eating the peaches and.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Weight change, you know, like I tell people with the
- 30:26Speaker 3: concussions and oh if we changed this, but it's still
- 30:29Speaker 3: around the same amni, it's still boxing. Uh, it's still
- 30:37Speaker 3: the same effects if you continue to do it. There's
- 30:40Speaker 3: an aspect of anything, like Big Kenny is saying of injury.
- 30:45Speaker 3: You didn't say that when the other guy toward his
- 30:48Speaker 3: acl There's somebody that we probably never haven't mentioned this
- 30:52Speaker 3: year week one other season towards something and we didn't
- 30:59Speaker 3: report on it. But since it's Kyrie Irving, it must be.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 6: Do you know how many stand up comedians have bad feet?
- 31:06Speaker 6: They just just you ain't got no stove. I can't
- 31:10Speaker 6: sit down up here, man, I've been standing up for
- 31:13Speaker 6: twenty seven years. Just you know, it's part of the
- 31:17Speaker 6: And I don't understand how they talk this load management
- 31:21Speaker 6: in this preserve myney when this was all.
- 31:24Speaker 3: What has happened over what we were doing this for
- 31:27Speaker 3: is that the medicines and the technique and the rehab
- 31:30Speaker 3: and all that have made guys be able to come
- 31:34Speaker 3: back faster and stronger.
- 31:37Speaker 1: They learned that in the.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Eighties, if you deal toward ACL or something like that,
- 31:42Speaker 3: they would put you in a cast. They learned that
- 31:46Speaker 3: was doing more damage because now those muscles are dying
- 31:51Speaker 3: in that cast for six weeks.
- 31:54Speaker 1: So now.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Eight hours after surgery they break the scar tissue. They've
- 32:01Speaker 3: learned these kind of techniques to get you back faster
- 32:06Speaker 3: and stronger, yes, but they haven't learned the technique to
- 32:11Speaker 3: prevent it.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Right, They're still.
- 32:15Speaker 6: You land, You land eight thousand times on a set
- 32:20Speaker 6: of knees. They got about seven thousand, nine hundred lands
- 32:24Speaker 6: in them.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Don't move. That's how you prevent it.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Yeah, recovery all that stuff definitely advanced and get people
- 32:32Speaker 3: back faster. But injuries and Kyrie, uh, longtime player, big
- 32:39Speaker 3: time baller. As I'm saying, sometimes it's just your style.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Kyrie is a I mean, one of the quickest ball
- 32:46Speaker 3: handlers that we've ever seen, not just of his time
- 32:49Speaker 3: I'm talking about it's hard when you watch him for
- 32:53Speaker 3: those guys to stay with him with the ball. He
- 32:56Speaker 3: is easily maybe in the top three or four all
- 32:58Speaker 3: time with being at all handling and getting himself free.
- 33:05Speaker 3: He's amazing with that ball. But there's a cost of
- 33:09Speaker 3: all that hurricane jerk too. Now, all that staff and
- 33:13Speaker 3: then moving aside, is there's something that goes along with
- 33:16Speaker 3: that little moition is on that floor now because that
- 33:20Speaker 3: shoot a slip, you know, And do you.
- 33:22Speaker 6: Think that you attributed the ability to come back stronger
- 33:26Speaker 6: and quicker to a lot of the technological and medical
- 33:30Speaker 6: advances of now do you think that having those what
- 33:35Speaker 6: I would turn right now is conveniences prevent some athletes
- 33:39Speaker 6: from investing into the training and the strength and conditioning
- 33:43Speaker 6: that they used to because man, you know, I ain't
- 33:47Speaker 6: really got to do all that, and you know, legger
- 33:50Speaker 6: repair it and eight hours later I'll be breaking the
- 33:52Speaker 6: scar tissue.
- 33:52Speaker 1: I'll be back in nineteen games.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Well, I think some guys just that's just your training
- 34:00Speaker 3: from childhood. Okay, But the mindset we were going to
- 34:04Speaker 3: talk a little later, and I guess we could talk
- 34:06Speaker 3: about it now, is just the whole. Jordan Chiles, the gymnast,
- 34:13Speaker 3: is writing a memoir, which is funny. She's only twenty three,
- 34:16Speaker 3: twenty four years old. I don't know what, but she
- 34:20Speaker 3: was writing one and a lot of it is about
- 34:22Speaker 3: her coach being verbally abusive. And when I read things
- 34:30Speaker 3: like that, it's like coaches are in such a tough
- 34:33Speaker 3: predicament of training. How do you coach someone when part
- 34:41Speaker 3: of coaching is a certain amount of criticism that evokes
- 34:52Speaker 3: better results. Everybody does not get better from applause. Some
- 34:59Speaker 3: people get better from Shane. And now then you're always
- 35:04Speaker 3: in that bop balance because the last pro I made,
- 35:09Speaker 3: that's what got them on the podium. Well, now I'm
- 35:11Speaker 3: trying to take you on and use it a little bit.
- 35:13Speaker 3: And every time I say, uh, looking a little heavy
- 35:17Speaker 3: in that leotard.
- 35:19Speaker 6: You start crying. You start crying, And now this is
- 35:22Speaker 6: the thing you said. Not everybody benefits from applause. Sometimes
- 35:26Speaker 6: ain't nothing worth cheering about in what you just did?
- 35:30Speaker 6: You know that that was horrible. Please, I'm saying now
- 35:34Speaker 6: that was horrible. And for me to sit here and
- 35:36Speaker 6: pretend like you're going to get any better if you
- 35:40Speaker 6: don't really focus and lock in is me wasting both
- 35:43Speaker 6: of our time. So what I need for you to do,
- 35:46Speaker 6: Fluffy is get get it together with the snacks. And
- 35:51Speaker 6: this is a coach to me. Coach player relationship requires honesty.
- 35:58Speaker 6: It's like a friendship, It's like any other relationships. Sometimes
- 36:01Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell you things that might not be comfortable
- 36:04Speaker 6: for you to hear. The way that I deliver them
- 36:08Speaker 6: is based on my experiences as a person, you know
- 36:12Speaker 6: what I mean. And for this is my problem with
- 36:15Speaker 6: the Jordan childs. How long was this your coach? If
- 36:18Speaker 6: this is something that bothered you the first time they
- 36:20Speaker 6: did it, you should have said stopped, But you went
- 36:22Speaker 6: all the way to the gold medal.
- 36:23Speaker 1: You know what I mean? With this, coach, And now
- 36:25Speaker 1: all of a sudden you want to do a memoir.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you shouldn't have called me.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I know I got these gold medals around me, But
- 36:33Speaker 3: who are you to tell me I'm finna choke you.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I'm looking fluffy in my lip toe.
- 36:37Speaker 1: I'm your coach. I'm the one that's gotta go with
- 36:40Speaker 1: you to the way in.
- 36:41Speaker 6: And when you weigh in in front of the United
- 36:43Speaker 6: States and Russia and the Russians make weight and you fluffy,
- 36:47Speaker 6: all the Russian coaches look at me like you make
- 36:50Speaker 6: them weak.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Yeah, And when the greg people ask me all the time,
- 36:54Speaker 3: I'm like, but to me, a coach, you're supposed to
- 36:57Speaker 3: always say this. You're supposed to be. As much you
- 37:00Speaker 3: want to hug your coach, you should want to choke them.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's where you're going to. That's where great coaching lies.
- 37:10Speaker 3: As much as you almost the same as some people say,
- 37:14Speaker 3: good parents, the same way, as much as you love
- 37:17Speaker 3: your parents, just as much as you want to walk
- 37:19Speaker 3: them into some traffic. Because they called me on things
- 37:25Speaker 3: that I'm not I'm flacking in man, Now, that's what
- 37:28Speaker 3: the coach is supposed to hold you to it. Man,
- 37:30Speaker 3: when you go get a trainer, and he said, let's
- 37:34Speaker 3: run back that last set, because I ain't like how
- 37:36Speaker 3: you did them ten push ups.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. I came to me the other
- 37:43Speaker 1: day talking about his brother took his toe. I fight back,
- 37:48Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really do toddler beef. So I
- 37:52Speaker 1: mean that's all I go.
- 37:53Speaker 3: You're supposed to do is set the twenty, and you
- 37:55Speaker 3: want to stop at sixteen and train to just keep counting.
- 37:58Speaker 3: And now you mad at him for while you're still
- 38:01Speaker 3: on sixteen. Well that's as far as you got.
- 38:03Speaker 1: That's as far as you got. Sixteen.
- 38:05Speaker 3: You wanted me to just credit you the other four.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Oh he tell you take a break in or she
- 38:09Speaker 3: tells you to take a break, then come back. Hey,
- 38:11Speaker 3: let's get them other four. Now you want to fight,
- 38:14Speaker 3: that's a good trainer. No no holdingto holing into what
- 38:17Speaker 3: he said. Twenty is the number.
- 38:20Speaker 1: That's the number. Come in. But I only had sixteen. Okay,
- 38:24Speaker 1: Well we await you gonna get up four more. We'll
- 38:29Speaker 1: wait getting the seventeen hurts.
- 38:32Speaker 3: And that's where that we'll be back more to sports
- 38:36Speaker 3: tug Joe right after this that Ny.
- 38:40Speaker 6: Now I get to double the press of fifteen court
- 38:43Speaker 6: soon set us spending it up.

- 41:09Speaker 2: Between longne say you can see a sports jain't I'll
- 41:24Speaker 2: sing even Ny welcome back to the sports Shock Shell.
- 41:29Speaker 3: I'm in sports shock Wayne can d. I'm just this
- 41:34Speaker 3: is not even on tap to talk about. But I'm
- 41:36Speaker 3: reading the article here and it says Barack Obama heads
- 41:41Speaker 3: to the Clippers game in LA without wife Michelle as
- 41:47Speaker 3: divorce rumors continue. And I'm laughing because I'm thinking, so
- 41:53Speaker 3: if I'm not with my wife, we're getting a divorce.
- 41:57Speaker 3: You know, most men like to go to the game
- 42:01Speaker 3: with the potton. It's where we hide from our wives.
- 42:05Speaker 3: If you didn't know out there, let me tell you.
- 42:07Speaker 3: They like to go with their potton. They can lie
- 42:10Speaker 3: and pass gas and eat things they shouldn't eat.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I've told you here on the show.
- 42:17Speaker 3: And next to me, he bipolar. There's the version of
- 42:24Speaker 3: him when he there with his son or his grandson
- 42:28Speaker 3: or his partner.
- 42:29Speaker 25: Uh.
- 42:30Speaker 3: And then there's the version of him when he's there
- 42:32Speaker 3: with his wife. And they're two different, not just personalities,
- 42:38Speaker 3: they're dressed different. Yes, when the wife comes, he has
- 42:41Speaker 3: on the slacks with the quarter zip like Peyton Manning
- 42:45Speaker 3: quarter zip, quartzip. But when he's there with his son,
- 42:50Speaker 3: he got the Air Force one with some colored laces
- 42:54Speaker 3: in him, a little Hawke hoodie.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Like who is this guy? You know? It's too different
- 43:01Speaker 1: with a pretzel and with the white. They might be
- 43:05Speaker 1: going somewhere after the game because she don't like so
- 43:11Speaker 1: they had to go get something to eat before the game.
- 43:14Speaker 1: And then we've got to go get something to eat
- 43:16Speaker 1: after the reading the article. Former President Baracko.
- 43:22Speaker 3: He's sitting there with the Clippers owner Baumer, look like
- 43:26Speaker 3: they're telling a whole bunch of lies about Woodstock back
- 43:30Speaker 3: in the day. And you know, because you know he
- 43:34Speaker 3: was there Bamba telling him, I didn't.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I didn't, I didn't.
- 43:38Speaker 3: I didn't appreciate that first pology down you know, did.
- 43:43Speaker 1: You catch that Bezos beach party?
- 43:47Speaker 3: He almost came, but we had to go to Russia
- 43:50Speaker 3: and talk them out of a nuclear war, you know,
- 43:53Speaker 3: and then that's what they want to sit there and
- 43:55Speaker 3: do with Michelle.
- 43:57Speaker 1: It's more of a whole know the vibe. Can I
- 44:01Speaker 1: at least get some amen's on here?
- 44:03Speaker 16: Now?
- 44:03Speaker 1: I completely just okay.
- 44:06Speaker 6: Okay, people with Michelle, they want you to be all dignified.
- 44:11Speaker 6: He just want to he just want to be Obama.
- 44:15Speaker 6: Hold on, is this Michelle courtside? See and women and
- 44:19Speaker 6: women in their defense the same women love to go
- 44:23Speaker 6: to things like that with their girlfriend, Yes, or their
- 44:27Speaker 6: friend that likes to It can be a male, but
- 44:30Speaker 6: that friend that likes to chat it up and talk
- 44:35Speaker 6: about Why is Jessica albums sitting over there next to.
- 44:39Speaker 1: A raw right?
- 44:40Speaker 6: And I was going to say, why would people just
- 44:42Speaker 6: naturally assume that Michelle even likes basket Maybe she maybe
- 44:46Speaker 6: she's on some I don't care for it on TV.
- 44:49Speaker 1: I'm definitely not gonna sit and watch them president anymore.
- 44:55Speaker 7: So it was to say that that she must like
- 44:57Speaker 7: basketball because her brother was as a basketball coach, But
- 45:02Speaker 7: that doesn't necessarily mean that she likes basketball.
- 45:04Speaker 6: And that and Obama played basketball a lot, which means
- 45:08Speaker 6: I've had it up to here. I'm tired of talking
- 45:12Speaker 6: about it. I'm tired of hearing about it. No, I
- 45:14Speaker 6: don't want to go to the game. Yeah, I just
- 45:18Speaker 6: I mean, I got my mother. I didn't have that on.
- 45:21Speaker 6: I just saw it when I clicked on. I'm thinking
- 45:23Speaker 6: how did that equate?
- 45:25Speaker 7: They've been trying to like some people have been pushing
- 45:28Speaker 7: that narrator for a few months because he was seen
- 45:31Speaker 7: out at a at a restaurant with a different woman
- 45:35Speaker 7: that Michelle wasn't there, like, oh is he is he
- 45:39Speaker 7: seeing somebody else?
- 45:41Speaker 1: Now?
- 45:41Speaker 6: And let me say this, I know y'all not feeling
- 45:44Speaker 6: sorry for Michelle, cause if she back on the market,
- 45:49Speaker 6: it'll be like a house in Buckhead. You see what
- 45:53Speaker 6: I'm saying, It's gonna get snatched up real quick.
- 45:57Speaker 1: It ain't gonna sit anything for long.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Allowed to remarry? Are they first ladies? No first lady
- 46:06Speaker 3: has ever divorced and then remarried. Only one was Jacki
- 46:10Speaker 3: Nassis and her husband got.
- 46:13Speaker 11: There.
- 46:13Speaker 7: It's never been a divorce. Excuse me, there's never been
- 46:16Speaker 7: a divorce, even after the after the presidency, there's never
- 46:21Speaker 7: been divorced. Like the Clintons are still together in a way,
- 46:25Speaker 7: I guess on paper.
- 46:26Speaker 6: And now and bringing that up if there are room
- 46:29Speaker 6: was about Barack and Michelle the Clinton still together period, y'all.
- 46:38Speaker 6: But y'all, I mean, if the Clinton's still together, y'all
- 46:41Speaker 6: need to quit playing.
- 46:42Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Come on, man, gentleman that wore a diamond watch to
- 46:48Speaker 3: the Lakers game the other night is suing the arena.
- 46:53Speaker 1: What is that? Crypto crypto dot com dot com arena.
- 46:58Speaker 3: He claims that he was assaulted and robbed in one
- 47:01Speaker 3: of the restrooms. Now, how is that crypto dot COM's fault.
- 47:07Speaker 6: Because you don't have armed security personnel and video surveillance
- 47:16Speaker 6: inside the restrooms monitoring things like criminal activity.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Well, the state only requires me to have thirty two.
- 47:28Speaker 6: Offendad ain't going every time I bring up no armed
- 47:34Speaker 6: security of video surveillance. You want to talk about state regulations.
- 47:39Speaker 6: That's they want, that's they want. But that that that's
- 47:44Speaker 6: that's what people will assert is you didn't have anybody
- 47:47Speaker 6: in the bathroom preventing me.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Federal law says, that's why we caught you in the bathroom, goofy.
- 47:56Speaker 6: We was waiting for the best place to catch you
- 47:59Speaker 6: with dyk see us catching you, Cooper Tolka.
- 48:05Speaker 1: That's that's what That's.
- 48:06Speaker 7: Why you're drinking all those beers.
- 48:10Speaker 1: How much did it cost?
- 48:12Speaker 3: Well, say, he stole his his diamond watch.
- 48:15Speaker 1: His diamond watch, and we saw it.
- 48:17Speaker 6: We know what real diamonds looked like, and you had
- 48:20Speaker 6: that one beer, then you had that shot, then you
- 48:23Speaker 6: had two more beers, and then you had a shot.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Did you into the bathroom? I just wanted to tell you,
- 48:30Speaker 1: my boy, like, let's go how it become crypto dot com.
- 48:34Speaker 6: Because y'all sold me out in beers and shots and
- 48:37Speaker 6: made me made me to go to.
- 48:39Speaker 3: The bathroom where I had no protection, and we made
- 48:42Speaker 3: you wear that watch here. I should be able to
- 48:45Speaker 3: wear whatever I want when I buy my ticket unless
- 48:48Speaker 3: I'm with my wife and I had to wear quarters.

- 50:38Speaker 18: Cord on sports news gossip, blah blah, blah blah blah, busy.
- 50:50Speaker 3: I'm ready, ready, come on.
- 50:54Speaker 18: You know the chronic cruls is that if Mama Knuds
- 50:56Speaker 18: trusted Obama, dude, the text phenomena. Now that study of Dominue,
- 51:01Speaker 18: you passed the liars Nan Who's honor?
- 51:03Speaker 16: Boot?
- 51:05Speaker 1: The close cuts strength to say was strained from both nuts.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Now walk back to this woy Shock show. I'm the
- 51:12Speaker 3: spar Shock Wing Candy. Good morning to you out the
- 51:15Speaker 3: Inn steing Land MATCHI Greg mc kenny up in the studio,
- 51:19Speaker 3: Jalen Suggs of the Orlando Magic. We were talking about
- 51:23Speaker 3: Kyrie Irving. Uh he is also out for the remainder
- 51:26Speaker 3: of the season from a knee surgery. Uh So it
- 51:31Speaker 3: wasn't just Kyrie. Other people have gotten heard and out
- 51:34Speaker 3: for the season. We talked last show about Joela B.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Last show about Joela B and his knee surgery. And
- 51:42Speaker 3: definitely he needs to take that time. Like I used
- 51:45Speaker 3: to say, what Tiger was. He never did it where
- 51:47Speaker 3: you just go and if it's a year or two,
- 51:50Speaker 3: almost like Grant Heel did just take it whatever time.
- 51:55Speaker 3: So when you do come back, you back. Don't keep
- 51:59Speaker 3: doing the Revard door. They kind of halfway fixed it
- 52:03Speaker 3: to get me, you know, for the optics to look back.
- 52:07Speaker 1: If it takes.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Four more weeks or four more months, do that, and
- 52:12Speaker 3: so when we see you back, we know you're back.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Do you think it's a.
- 52:18Speaker 7: There's been some concern with him that he may have
- 52:23Speaker 7: to medically retire because of now. The procedure that's gonna
- 52:28Speaker 7: be done is experimental as far as I know, Like
- 52:34Speaker 7: they're going to break a bone in the hip and
- 52:36Speaker 7: that's gonna be used to fix the knee, okay, because
- 52:42Speaker 7: they tried other things I guess with rehabbing it and
- 52:45Speaker 7: it's just not responding. So now they're trying this other method.
- 52:49Speaker 7: But I heard it like you've got to break a
- 52:51Speaker 7: bone somewhere else to fix it. It's a much bigger problem. Well,
- 52:58Speaker 7: that possibly could be. It a man that size, and
- 53:01Speaker 7: as we talked about, his knee issue was something he
- 53:05Speaker 7: came into the league with. It could have been whatever
- 53:12Speaker 7: curve of something higher or lower was never really aligned
- 53:18Speaker 7: sometimes because alignment has a lot to do with That's
- 53:22Speaker 7: what chiropractic work is about. That's what massage is about,
- 53:26Speaker 7: trying to keep your body in line, because the more
- 53:29Speaker 7: in line you are, the more even like when you
- 53:34Speaker 7: do stretches, the more evenly you can keep your body balanced.
- 53:39Speaker 7: You know, if you find that one hip is tighter
- 53:42Speaker 7: than the other, you should work on that other hip
- 53:44Speaker 7: a little longer because that's all gonna make you walk
- 53:48Speaker 7: right and putting the pressure evenly on your body. The
- 53:51Speaker 7: more you compensate, the more another area takes the pounding.
- 53:56Speaker 7: I always help people and there walking with when they're
- 54:00Speaker 7: walking with crutches. You're not supposed to really lean on
- 54:04Speaker 7: the crutches. So if you're on the crutches so bad
- 54:08Speaker 7: that you are burning your arm, then you might need
- 54:16Speaker 7: to get a wheelchair for that period. You're not supposed
- 54:19Speaker 7: to actually lay all your body weight. Crutches are supposed
- 54:22Speaker 7: to be for a guide. They're just there to kind
- 54:26Speaker 7: of keep you in sequence. But you see some people
- 54:29Speaker 7: and they're moving, they're almost swinging. That's not really how
- 54:33Speaker 7: the crush is supposed to be. Even a cane. A
- 54:36Speaker 7: cane is just supposed to be a balancer.
- 54:39Speaker 1: If you're right, Hirribbean, you need you need to go
- 54:51Speaker 1: get fixed.
- 54:51Speaker 3: So hopefully when Joel really gets fixed, that's what I'm saying,
- 54:55Speaker 3: I would like him right now in his career, go
- 54:58Speaker 3: get because you'll be oh Joel in a minute.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Now, Now, this is what I'm saying. And that experimental
- 55:04Speaker 1: thing was what marsh started. Mind remember it was here.
- 55:07Speaker 1: It was a couple of guys that he was getting
- 55:09Speaker 1: those holes drilled. I think Grant he'll too.
- 55:11Speaker 3: They were trying that new method where you drilled the
- 55:14Speaker 3: little holes in your bone.
- 55:15Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 55:16Speaker 6: And that's what I was he was saying, like they
- 55:18Speaker 6: pull a bone from the hip to do something with
- 55:21Speaker 6: the knee, like no other apparatus benefits from that. Like
- 55:25Speaker 6: you don't go to your car and I'm gonna pull
- 55:27Speaker 6: something from the drive train and put it around the brakes.
- 55:31Speaker 6: That just you know, that sounded like maybe I need
- 55:33Speaker 6: me a new car. You see what I'm saying. I
- 55:36Speaker 6: just need to know, broh, let's see how much we
- 55:38Speaker 6: can get for this one. And so I don't know
- 55:41Speaker 6: if experimental and come back really have the same meaning
- 55:48Speaker 6: when they're in the same sentence.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Well, some guys they they willing to do whatever to
- 55:56Speaker 3: get back on the court. Yeah, that's true. So when guys,
- 56:01Speaker 3: you know, when they first started doing the Godaver ligament,
- 56:08Speaker 3: guys would still letting him fix their own a quicker
- 56:13Speaker 3: method was to get you know, a piece of godalver
- 56:18Speaker 3: and put it in yours. So I guess certain things
- 56:23Speaker 3: you just try. But at Jolo Bebes and Joel has
- 56:27Speaker 3: never won a championship right right, so that's probably the
- 56:31Speaker 3: only thing that is keeping that fire burning that he
- 56:36Speaker 3: would try this and come back. So we will, we
- 56:40Speaker 3: will see what we've seen. Like Tracey McGrady and Larry Bird,
- 56:43Speaker 3: Larry Johnson, they all want to got those back surgeries, confusions,
- 56:49Speaker 3: it got them back out. They were never high flyers again.
- 56:55Speaker 3: Larry Bird already con dunk so it didn't really matter.
- 56:57Speaker 3: But Larry Johnson and Tracey McGrady, part of their game
- 57:01Speaker 3: was their explosiveness, and it really put them to just
- 57:05Speaker 3: regular dunk guy. They ended up being like Steph Curry,
- 57:12Speaker 3: just some hard layupsy, no dunking at all. I mean
- 57:18Speaker 3: T Mac who was in the dunk contest he went
- 57:21Speaker 3: to when he came back, he went to holding onto
- 57:24Speaker 3: the rim to let himself down. He would dunk and
- 57:28Speaker 3: hold the rim and slowly let himself down, and that
- 57:32Speaker 3: because he refused his back together. He was never the
- 57:34Speaker 3: T Mac and even getting in the Hall of Fame,
- 57:36Speaker 3: I think we were talking about that. Like he he
- 57:39Speaker 3: got in the Hall of Fame from what before back surgery?
- 57:43Speaker 1: Yeah, everything, and the White Howard had that too, right,
- 57:47Speaker 1: Yeah he had.
- 57:49Speaker 3: And he was never the same. He went to strictly
- 57:54Speaker 3: just trying to play defense, and he did a lot
- 57:56Speaker 3: of different stuff after that. Yeah, he was trying to
- 58:00Speaker 3: buy some other way in. He stopped trying to back
- 58:04Speaker 3: you up and don't go you. He went to a
- 58:06Speaker 3: different game after that. We'll be back well to sports
- 58:08Speaker 3: shots you in the second hour right after this bullets.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I like it when you just a float, can't call me?
- 58:20Speaker 1: If that guy go, don't go away.
- 58:24Speaker 12: More of the sports Jossho with Wayne Gamby, Yes, coming
- 58:27Speaker 12: out next.
- 58:29Speaker 25: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 58:32Speaker 25: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 58:35Speaker 25: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 58:38Speaker 25: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 58:41Speaker 25: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 58:44Speaker 25: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 58:47Speaker 25: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 58:51Speaker 25: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 58:54Speaker 25: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 58:58Speaker 25: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 59:00Speaker 25: father that I knew it could be. I think just
- 59:03Speaker 25: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 59:06Speaker 25: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 59:09Speaker 25: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 59:12Speaker 25: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back

- 59:59Speaker 1: And now let's talk about something exciting. Life insurance.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: piece of financial security. Yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: have life insurance.
- 1:00:10Speaker 11: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:00:12Speaker 11: just getting started with our family and thought we live
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: forever life insurance. Well, what's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:00:21Speaker 11: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: the insurance informant.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:00:32Speaker 20: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:00:35Speaker 20: leave my family with bills or benefits. The answer is easy.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: little or a lot, All you need is the insurance
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits

- 1:01:05Speaker 1: any r s. Share your suck and we hold the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: world ransom for wayne. Excuse me while I whipped this
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: out shore broadcasting live and at Leta to a chaos.
- 1:01:17Speaker 12: This this is the Sports Shock Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: You may began to lean up, Dan, can you win
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: me down? Frank me down? Do come to come to pocket?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: It comes to marget.
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: It's just.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it begin. I'm gonna go.
- 1:01:39Speaker 14: On the way.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: You may vegan Welcome back to this woe Shock Show.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: I'm the Sport Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: First thing right off the bat we talked about was
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: daylight saving time. It is that time again, so look
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: out Sunday we will spring forward for some of you
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: like that late evening, so now the sun would be
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: out till like eight o'clock.
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: At night, and you know, for the first I think
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: it's week or we can half or so of daylight
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: saving time. They say the percentage of heart attacks increase
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: because people are traumatized by the loss of the hour
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: unless they live in Arizona, and Jared said that Hawaii
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: doesn't do it either, So I guess, I guess those
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: people medically are cleared, but the rest of us.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Need to be on high alert.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I guess, so check your pacemaker maker. I guess right.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: Maybe it's a pacemaker thing.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Maybe it is. Maybe they're all hooked up to something.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: It's not supposed to satellite, it's not supposed to move forward.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I wonder why they don't die when it goes back.
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: I don't know, because you get more rest that they're saying.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: The being jarred awake an hour sooner and losing that
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: sleep is what adds to the stress on the body.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Bodybuilder Jody Vance, young lady only twenty years old, dehydration
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: triggered failure in her heart over the last couple of days.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: And this story is interested me because I have seen
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: at least maybe every other month, if not every month,
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: here quietly someone in the bodybuilding world, either current or
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: newly retired, pass away. Why isn't the bodybuilding world getting
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: any criticism from these young and most of them are
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: I would say, I've seen have been forty five and under.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: You, and I'm not saying this is the case. Do
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: you think that maybe somebody inside bodybuilding has seen has
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: become aware it's suspicious that something isn't right, and a
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: lot like it was with the tobacco companies when they
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: first realized, you know, hey, man, this stuff ain't no
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: good for us. They didn't say nothing right away, They
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: just kind of.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: But this has always been the kind of cloud over bodybuilding.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: And again and when someone and when someone brings it up,
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: they go, yeah, man, that was real unfortunate.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: But concussions in the NFL.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: And then everybody goes, oh, concussions and they run over
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: and they're looking, and then the bodybuilding people just kind
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: of slip out the back door quietly.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: And that's what it is. And it seems.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: Exactly like because the supplements that surround it, the training,
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: the sacrifices, the traditions and customs they have to make eight,
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: all of those things are at the very least risky,
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: if not dangerous.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you're talking about people in the world the competition
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: where they might go like the last day and a
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: half or something like that, where they don't even drink
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: water right to get right there before the competition. So
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: if the competition is tomorrow night, I might stop consuming
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: water right now until tomorrow night. Yeah, after the competition.
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: It says there that to get that definition, they found
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: a high reading of potassium, which would suggest that she
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: uses she used a diuretic, So they're using the different supplements,
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: like you said, the day of the competition, and they're
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: always looking to get that edge, and sometimes.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the same.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: A lot of it is the same way you would
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: have seen Lee Haney and Arnold Schwarzenegger. A lot of
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: those techniques are the techniques there are no there is this.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: You know, I'm really gonna compete at someone probably like
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: her at one thirty, but I get up to one seventy, right,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: and try to hold on to as much as the
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: of the mask as I can.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: So I go on this.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: You know, I go from eating five chickens a day
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: to just a can of tuna, to two days out
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: I'm just on ice chips, to thirty six hours out,
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I'm not on anything.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Until after I finished. And now this is something and that's.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: My whole cycle anytime that these competitions. And I was
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: just wondering, it's quite like Big Kenny saying, because concussions sounds.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: So loud.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: That the art of bodybuilding has been able to just
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: slide into the corner, keep rolling and get back to
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: cete while y'all over here right right, and that.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Kind of how they they like what y'all doing.
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: Tho talking about blunt clots and all of y'all too
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: attack over yeah, y'all over here, word about us and
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: all this little heart attack. They didn't have to roll
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: anybody off the stage in the bodybuilding competition, you know that.
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: And they have some of that too of stuff up,
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: put it up, they roll that back, and it's just
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: been And now we're talking about even twenty. And that's
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: why I'm saying, typically is thirty seven forty two. I
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: see guys that may have just finished and that strain
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: is just still too much. But at twenty year old,
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: and like Greg is saying, that Diarretic gets to push
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: everything out here, like when I hit this stage, I
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: just want muscle, right showing I don't want war, I
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: don't want any food content. I need just like three
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: hours or just all pure muscle. And now this is
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: something that I wonder about in her case. In other
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: cases like hers, I've known bodybuilders who were competition bodybuilders
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: who were very critical about their fluid and food intake,
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: but they used all of those recreational stimulants that they could,
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: you know what I mean. So they might not be
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: drinking water, but they were definitely on something else. And
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: that stuff is still having an effect on the body too,
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: and you're not managing any of those things that would
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: help you recover from that.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: The Denver Broncos that fired that linebacker coach, we talked
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: about Michael will Hooyt for that physical alcocation with the
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: police officer. We saw that coming. We talked about it
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: a couple of shows ago. Where he pulled over to
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: the Denver Airport, got out of his car, went inside,
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: and as he was going inside, the officer told me
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: couldn't park there. He physically touched the officer, gave him
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: a couple of choice words, and we laughed about how.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I'm wrong for doing my job.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: I mean, man, because they hired me to make sure
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: the cars don't park out here.
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: I'm saying, but we didn't all cursed out of cop
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: and pushed them. Am I right?
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: No, No, I'm not going to do that. That sounds like
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: going to jail.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: I mean, you do you I'm not disputing now I'm saying.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm not saying that my mind. I'm just
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: a more reasonable guy.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: So things that add up to me, and it sounds
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: like shoving a cop. If you want to go to jail,
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: The easiest way to go to jail is just but
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: what to buy you a cop?
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Shove them? But what did he say? And curse him up?
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: But what did he say? But what did he say?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: That's what y'all never care about.
- 1:10:06Speaker 16: That.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: He says, you can't park, right, see, Dad ain't go,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Dad ain't going. No sign says that state one. That's
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: state one. It's posted, sir.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: That's the anytime you have to cuss out a cop
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: and shove him. He always talking about some posted sign
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: that you should have seen. This is no parking.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Okay, we're gonna see today no unattended vehicles. That he
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: go with the big words.
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: You know, I'm confused and frustrated now, so I just
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: go into attack.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying, yeah, you you you attended vehicle and
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: that was more than two syllables, sir.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: I'm gonna calm myself by attacking you.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: And now you're out of a job and facing some
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: you know, misdemeanor.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: They give him two hundred hours something. But we've all
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: done community service right No, not not not not from court.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Yeah, court mandated. They got other kind of community. Yeah,
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: it's just good nature.
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: Good okay, Look today years old. Yeah, I thought all.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Communities are there.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Did you wake up early, go down and help the
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: homeless volunteer? Yeah, I had nothing to do with a
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: man or a woman in a row, none of that
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: gavel signatures, lawyers, nothing. It was just I felt like
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: it was a good calls and serve some hot meal.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: I had to try to get up on my own
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: and go out and help somebody clean up the highway.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. Yeah, it
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: should be free.
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Do you have to transport yourself out to the highway
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: because the other way they take you out there.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: No, you have to make a grown way uber or
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: see yourself the other way. A group of y'all going
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: to fan Oh man, you're crazy with that. The MAVs,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the Dallas MAVs have increased their ticket prices. They got
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: rid of Luca, and the ticket's gonna go up.
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: We got to make up the money that we're about
- 1:12:18Speaker 7: to lose because people aren't the games.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: I don't know if that was a good business meeting.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Whoever brought that up he fired. Wait, now, look, I
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: know we got rid of one of the top four
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: or five stars in the league, but we got to
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: raise them ticket prices.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Right now, wait now, wait now? And what am I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: getting for this increase? With y'all have done? New seats?
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: We got? Uh what what? What are they giving me?
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Restroom cameras? Oh no, robberies, shock show after this? Where
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you live? Yeah?

- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Yeah that uh? He was part of that lion again
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: the Tiger, Tiger King, Tiger King's stuff. He's sixty two
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: in jail.
- 1:19:10Speaker 27: I think it's oh he is is sixty two? Yes,
- 1:19:18Speaker 27: still in j Yeah, he's still in jail.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: Tiger.
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: I guess he aging Doggie is why you are going
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: to Tiger because he looked way older than sixty two.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: Mike Irving is fifty nine or is he and better
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: known as the Diesel. Shaquille O'Neill is fifty three years
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: of age. Is Shaquille O'Neill, Big Kenny. Not a lot
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: of work this weekend. Yes enough, it's yeah, it's enough.
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: Yes, yes, we uh in in in line with the
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: United States border initiatives. I'm gonna have to go with
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: Eva Mendez, Clock Gusta. How does that go at the
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: board of this Just just go with it, sports, Just
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: go with it. I know it's a lot of Latin
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: tariffs and we just you know, we were at a
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: stalemate right now. I'm doing my part for international relations.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm Eva Mendaz fifty one years old. Is
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Eva Mendaz.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: Mike Epps accusing Shannon Sharp of refusing or excuse me,
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: of using black guest as clickbait on Club Shay Shay.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: He demands that Shannon bring more white men on the
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: show and abuse them, which sounds kind of.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Silly. I want you to just add, I want you
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: to abuse people. I just want you to go get
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: some white people, some white peoven, do it to them
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: and then let them pull their souls out and look
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: dysfunctional too. It's not like that's already been done by
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: everybody else. Wasn't Jerry Springer and everybody else? Oh?
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: Okay, gotcha. Have you seen this beef between Mike Epps
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: and Shack Shang, I mean no, no. I saw the
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: interview that they're talking about.
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: I saw that clip where he said that, uh, he's
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: not going to be on Club Shay Shay because he
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: feels like it's clickbait. And he admitted that, you know,
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: we're willing to watch the train wreck, but let's just
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: watch some white people get hit by the train too,
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: is what he wants.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Com I've seen the clip of the of Mike Epps interview.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I think.
- 1:21:56Speaker 7: He may have some he may have you know a
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: point that some guests that Shannon Sharp has had is
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: just trying to and maybe simply just trying to recreate
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: that viral moment that he had with Kat Williams. So
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: with some of the guests that he has, if there's
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: some kind of controversy to them, or it's or he's
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: going he's thinking that these are this is what my
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: audience wants either kind of guests.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: Well, I would ask Mike, how is Shannon supposed to
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: secure these guests?
- 1:22:30Speaker 7: Well, and see, now that's anything like not just white celebrities,
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: but more of he kept.
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: Still it's the same question and see this is this
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: is my parts Why Sports shot? If if I know
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: that I'm going on your show and the format of
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: your show is to get on your show with my
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: shirt off and let you slap me on my back
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: where the flat piece of would it's gonna be some
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: people on some No, I'm not gonna do your show.
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: And that's what I'm saying. They know what Shannon Show
- 1:23:07Speaker 6: was about, people coming on there pouring out their souls
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: and as Mike say, looking Dick's functional, why would I
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: sign up for that?
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: But don't.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: But when we'll talk about a little more on the
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: other side of break, But don't I have to go
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: and get these guys that would be famous first and
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: then willing and then start I would have to find
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: the fame of three famous friends who disfunctional and then
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: have to hope they were dysfunctional.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: And then hope that they're willing to share that and open.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: So for about an hour, we'll be back more Sports
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: show right after this.
- 1:23:56Speaker 12: Don't go Awayne Born of the Sports John Hill with
- 1:23:59Speaker 12: Wayne Gamby coming up.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Nast hurting the game.
- 1:24:03Speaker 28: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on, feeling down,
- 1:24:09Speaker 28: we pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:24:12Speaker 28: times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 1:24:16Speaker 28: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:24:18Speaker 28: really going through. So we're going to reach out because
- 1:24:21Speaker 28: sometimes mental health is not a one person job. Is
- 1:24:25Speaker 28: it Love your Mind Today dot org? That's Love your

- 1:24:29Speaker 28: Mental Health Institute and the Head Counsel.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance.
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually
- 1:24:41Speaker 4: have life insurance.
- 1:24:42Speaker 11: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:24:44Speaker 11: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:24:47Speaker 11: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:24:52Speaker 11: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:24:54Speaker 11: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: survived without me. That's what I made an appointment with
- 1:24:58Speaker 11: the insurance informant.
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:25:05Speaker 20: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:25:07Speaker 20: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: need is the insurance informat to help you build a
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: or bills dot com. And now back to the Sports
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: Job Wayne.
- 1:25:35Speaker 25: Gandy Player's Lounge.
- 1:25:42Speaker 29: I've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:25:45Speaker 29: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandys holds.
- 1:26:00Speaker 26: That right, barb right, God walking let down your heart,
- 1:26:03Speaker 26: your heart like the way you get that right, bar
- 1:26:06Speaker 26: right that you're talking, like the way you're lifting them
- 1:26:11Speaker 26: Pansy the blind.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: My mother caught a cheeks she bought from a dime.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: The type of girl daddy, gip chub up and go
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: make your grind. I'm picking reflecting up there, making the
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: mind walking back to this what shock show up?
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: This what shock wing Ken We left talking about the
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: Mike apps Uh accusations basically against Shannon Sharp club Chase
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: Shay using black guests as click baiting.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: As we move on.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: I guess, as I pondered Big Kenny Comanchi Gregg in
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: the studio today.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Is just more of.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: Why did Why do we always have to think everything
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: is supposed to be equal or balanced.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Balanced?
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: When you do something like why is every project demanded
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: on the planet to be.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Equal? We see it so much?
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: And I say that because he's like, Okay, I can't
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: have the Boy Scouts without the Girl Scouts, and then
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: I couldn't. I can't have either one if you don't
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: want to just make it Scouts, Like why do we
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: think comanchie since you're our polar North even in cases
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: like this, Well, if you're going to get on and criticize,
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: and I need you to go find some people to
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: make it look even, why is that such a necessity
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: in our society?
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: If it doesn't look diverse enough, and not necessarily it
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: doesn't have to be diversity everywhere like that. I think
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: he's just looking putaining to Mike Epps's comments that it
- 1:27:58Speaker 7: doesn't seem diverse enough.
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: But what who said I was looking for diverse enough?
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: That's what I saying.
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: It like it does, like it's it doesn't have to
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: be like that. I think people don't recognize that it
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: doesn't have to be Uh, it doesn't have to be
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: this wide array of people like I. It's for this
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: is the vision for what I want my show to be.
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: And these are the kind of people that I want
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: to talk to. So this is how I'm going to
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: do it. You want to be diverse just because I
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: don't know, do whatever way you kind of feel. Do
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: you think that this is embarrassing to you, or however
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: you feel about it, But this is what I'm doing
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: with my thing, and it's going to have these kind
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: of people. These are kind of people that I'm interested
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: in talking to.
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: I'm willing to fail, win or lose this way.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to do it my way. So I
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: don't understand. I understand diversity in things that are where
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: things are needed to be an even playing field for
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: people to rise in life at ego opportunity for education
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: right or insurance or healthcare. But I don't need club
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: Chase she if Shennon only wants to interview men or
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: women or athletes in that his right on the show.
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: That's just a show that you don't They talk about
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: food on the Food.
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: Network, Yes, they talk about food and then there are
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: some There are some food shows on the Food Network
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: where they only talk about food that you catch in
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: the wild. They get specific with it, right, and you
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: know stuff I can cook outdoors with things I find.
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: And I don't understand the people always demanding that you
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: insert every group into every situation when the fact of
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: the matter is maybe the people who aren't here represented
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: didn't want to come. Just like with the Michelle Obama
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: at the basketball game thing, You're assuming I'm a basketball fan.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: You're assuming that I.
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: Even know what Club Shay Shay is and when I
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: found out about it, I wanted to go. Maybe all
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: the dysfunctional white former athletes are on the Kelsey Brothers podcast.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: Maybe they're over there with the Manning brothers. Maybe they're
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: with Pat McAfee. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: It could be anything, But you're just standing up and
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: demanding that this and to me game recognized game. Nothing
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: says clickbait like insinuating and accusing Shannon Sharp of being
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: a person who uses clickbait. Now everybody's talking about Mike
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: Epps for talking about Shannon Sharp. You see what I'm saying,
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: which is clickbait Again, It's just you're using the same
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: weapon just complaining about.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: It, which means most likely Mike Epps will be going
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: on his summer tour here starting he's already on. Uh No,
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: that's so meaning like it's just to bring some more
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: eyes to the to the tour, to that tour. Retired
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: NFL star pac Man Jones decided to divolge that he
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: never used his own urine.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Doing a drug test.
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: Now, if you know the sports shock, this is definitely
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: the candidate one for the ocean. But I still needed
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: my co host the weigh in on this because you
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: know how we all on took drug tests right hey,
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: yes and fail no, no, no, no.
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: No and no.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: And I was just finding something we all have. I
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: gotta see we've all.
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: And pac Man, you know, Adam Jones colorful character in
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: his eleven twelve years in the NFL, had the talent
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: at one point to really as they say, shut down
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: corner more of a return guy, utility guy. Throughout his career,
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: I can't say that he ever lived up to what
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: people thought, but I thought he had a heck of
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: a career, but his controversy off the field always overshadowed
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: what he had done on I think when people think
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: of him, they think about that part of him more
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: than they think about which play he ever made or
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: which team he ever starred on. And in these situations
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: he was on the show Dion Sanders Show with Roxy Diaz.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: I think, is there we got time or time or
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: something like that, And he was divulging that in his career, uh,
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: to get around any drug test that he used, he
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: never used his own urine. And when I read this,
- 1:33:14Speaker 3: I kept thinking, so, now what pac Man, you devoged
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: this to the NFL, the different teams that you played for.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: How did this enhance your life? Big Kenny? How did
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: putting this information in the giving somebody.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: Help you? Did it help you with any kind of
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: post career? I can't imagine it did. Accolades like you know, Uh,
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: it puts your career under scrutiny, it does. It puts
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: the team just like processes did any kind of filled
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: any drug testing.
- 1:34:03Speaker 6: And I'm saying, and it puts the entire process that
- 1:34:06Speaker 6: your team that you played for have in place. You
- 1:34:11Speaker 6: mean to tell me now, because I'm saying, I know
- 1:34:14Speaker 6: folks that go and get drug tested for waffle House
- 1:34:18Speaker 6: and they got somebody standing there watching them with blue
- 1:34:20Speaker 6: water putting a toilet. You mean you've been able to
- 1:34:24Speaker 6: go into an NFL franchise and drug tests with somebody
- 1:34:28Speaker 6: else hearing.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: Do you bring it in a cup?
- 1:34:30Speaker 6: It's got to be a certain temperature, it's got to
- 1:34:32Speaker 6: be all of that stuff They tested right there to
- 1:34:36Speaker 6: make sure that it's not fake urine.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: So are they.
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: Allowing you to bring fake I'm saying you threw all
- 1:34:42Speaker 6: of us under the bus with that statement. You thought
- 1:34:44Speaker 6: you were telling something about yourself, But now I want
- 1:34:47Speaker 6: to know what's your process from people who now this
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: is a nation of drug testing and anybody out there
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: that knows a process that they're able to now they
- 1:34:58Speaker 6: have devices, fake prosthetics you could tie to your leg
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: and all of that.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Did you go through all of that? How did you
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: get this done?
- 1:35:06Speaker 6: Because it's intricate, it's involved, and it's not as easy
- 1:35:10Speaker 6: as just walking in to a place with fake with
- 1:35:14Speaker 6: somebody else's yearing in a glass and pouring it into
- 1:35:17Speaker 6: your test sample and handing it to them.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: They look out for and.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: All I'm saying is I'm looking just from the standpoint
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: of some people will see this as you tainted your career.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: So basically, you cheated. You was out on the field performing.
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: You know, in some people eyes, drug is drugs. You
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: were out there on something illegal. Well you steroids or whatever,
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: cocaine or whatever you got by on and gave you
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: a step on the competition.
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: And we've all competed on steroids and cocaine. Am I right?
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: Am I right?
- 1:36:01Speaker 23: No?
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: Neither just cocaine, No, no, none of that stuff. It
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: neither no five hour energy or a Red Bull.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Yeah. I guess I'm saying everybody. You know, some people
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: watch clubs, they say some people be on Pat mcafeeh.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. I'm just saying this different stuff.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Do what works for you.
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: Was the point I was, And I guess anytime I
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: see these guys like they want to come out. We've
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: seen this here since we've been doing this show. At
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: least one person every year needs to uh air out
- 1:36:36Speaker 3: that they got around some drug tests or they were.
- 1:36:40Speaker 6: Doing something that they got away with for decades sports shock.
- 1:36:44Speaker 6: Why is that seemingly so prevalent with former athletes? Do
- 1:36:48Speaker 6: they feel like that's aha, I got you. Do they
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: feel like that I know a secret nobody else knew.
- 1:36:56Speaker 6: Why are they so willing to come and tell the
- 1:36:59Speaker 6: whole world something that nobody ever had to know?
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: Never? I know what Jimmy Hoffa at what after this?
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: So the noise she wasn't.
- 1:37:12Speaker 30: Posted alone?
- 1:37:13Speaker 26: That is.
- 1:37:17Speaker 8: Us.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: I know the jewel and topping them doors too much
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: to lose, John Bowl.
- 1:37:22Speaker 12: Wayne Born of The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan
- 1:37:25Speaker 12: Videos coming up next.
- 1:37:27Speaker 30: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:37:29Speaker 30: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:37:33Speaker 30: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:37:36Speaker 30: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:37:40Speaker 30: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:37:44Speaker 30: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:37:47Speaker 30: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't
- 1:37:49Speaker 30: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go

- 1:39:29Speaker 31: And now back to the sports Joint, Wayne Gandy between
- 1:39:52Speaker 31: all log on so you can sit a sports joint.
- 1:39:56Speaker 31: I'll see even the journey. Welcome back to the show.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: I'm this boy.
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: Check Wayne gand we have talking about pac Man Jones
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: who revealed on Prime Time and Roxy did It's Roxy.
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: Da is right, It's Roxy and I got time. I got.
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: Devotes that during his twelve year NFL career he basically
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: used fate urine and all of his drug tests to
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: get by, saying and beaming with pride that he got over.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: And big Kenny question is why is that always seemed
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: to be uh that so many guys And I think
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: that's that touch of narcissism and people that have that trait,
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: it's not just good enough for them to have good
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: or bad committed sothing or done to act. If you
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: don't know, you know, it's like plenty of people give money,
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: donate to things and never tell you about it. In
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: our society, we talk about that when people question others
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: donation and it's like, wellhy do you know that's his
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: first donation because he never told you. You think they
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: don't donate, But that's kind of how they would have
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: when and then some people before they even have sent
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: the check as going on record to make sure you know.
- 1:41:38Speaker 3: And I think with the pac Mans and other guys,
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: it always you know. I saw something with Gary Payton
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: Senior the Glove that he was saying all they did
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: was go to strip clubs and get drunk during the
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: ninety six nineteen ninety six Olympic Dream Team. And it's like,
- 1:41:59Speaker 3: I don't don't know why you need to or why
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: that that historical moment you need to weaken it? Are
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: you thinking people are gonna applaud you or.
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: Pat you more.
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: For doing it that way? Like I I and I'm
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: one of those people. If I can't see it, I'm
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: not going to sit there and try to tell you
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: I can picture that.
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: I thought.
- 1:42:24Speaker 3: I I thought you moved in silence as much as
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: possible on things you do, good or bad, just the
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: things you do. I don't need to go and I
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: don't need to hurt anyone else. But in this society today,
- 1:42:37Speaker 3: first thing people want to do when you fall out
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: with them is they want to go tell your business.
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: The young lady with Dwight Howard, so it didn't work out,
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: Now you want to go and get deep, deep personal
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: with it, try to tear.
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: His life apart and lost time and so with pac
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: Man in this, and I was just like, well, what
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: does this do for you?
- 1:43:03Speaker 16: Now?
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: You're telling people basically you cheated your whole career. Now
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: for most you're out of the league, You're a done deal.
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: But for some they will see it as that not
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: they have any power of your life, and not that
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: you even care with how they see you.
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: But you have basically confessed. Well, and my thing is this,
- 1:43:28Speaker 1: with these.
- 1:43:30Speaker 6: Revelations and confessions, if you got something in your spirit
- 1:43:35Speaker 6: that you need to get off and come clean, that's fine.
- 1:43:40Speaker 6: But for you to come clean about stuff that implicates
- 1:43:43Speaker 6: the rest of us, I'm uncomfortable with that.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: Now. If you want to come.
- 1:43:47Speaker 6: Forward and say my whole life, I've been saying I
- 1:43:50Speaker 6: was five eight, but I'm actually five six and a
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: half then that's just you.
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:43:56Speaker 6: But for you to go here, you know that I
- 1:43:58Speaker 6: was involved in the transportation of stolen government secret Well,
- 1:44:06Speaker 6: somebody had to be helping you do that. Somebody had
- 1:44:09Speaker 6: to know something. And now we're questioning the whole system
- 1:44:12Speaker 6: you came up in. And I'm just saying, pac Man,
- 1:44:15Speaker 6: this is this, this is an accusation. These are acts
- 1:44:20Speaker 6: that players have been kicked out of the league for
- 1:44:25Speaker 6: drugs and wasn't allowed to play, been suspended, been fined
- 1:44:30Speaker 6: all of that self. And you mean to tell me
- 1:44:33Speaker 6: you should have been kicked out, you should have been suspended,
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: you should have been fined, but you just found a
- 1:44:37Speaker 6: way around it. And now you want to tell so
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: the negative dude might get caught.
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: And that's why I said cheating. Basically, you cheating your
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: whole career because you're you were violating rules that could
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: have gotten you suspended. Yeah, so you just cheated your
- 1:44:54Speaker 3: way through because many times we've been on this show,
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: just recently with someone like a Bobby what is and
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: in regardless of what the drug is, we're talking about
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: the test, right, so we don't know what you were avoiding.
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: You could have been on cocaine anything. Yeah, you're saying
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: you use urine, fresh urine, which we can't tell what.
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: All right, you could have been on estrogen or something.
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: You was going getting around. You want me to just
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: leave it at marijuana. I'm gonna say no, no, I'm
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: gonna say that you. I'm gonna say it was the
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: whole gambit.
- 1:45:32Speaker 6: I'm saying because if you're fighting in the airport or
- 1:45:35Speaker 6: a fresh three piece of Popeyes chicken in your hand,
- 1:45:38Speaker 6: you own something else.
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: Besides we we don't make you do that well. And
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: some guys are even on alcohol, yeah, violation. Some guys
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: that have gotten in trouble in the NFL for drinking
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: or on alcohol bands. Yes, they can't even drink. So
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: you were getting around, skirting all of whatever you were
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: supposed to be under it. But you're singing in such
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: glee like I did it, and we're supposed to be
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: sitting there like, okay, pac man, you did that.
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: You got over all that money. Bill Belichick wants you
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: to know as we go to break that. And I
- 1:46:27Speaker 3: guess because last week it said that UNC football would
- 1:46:31Speaker 3: be on hard knocks. Now, Bill Belichick says they're not
- 1:46:35Speaker 3: to think the deal they would fell through between Hard.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: Knocks and you ins I told you.
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: They didn't tell him. They didn't tell him. They were like, yeah,
- 1:46:47Speaker 6: you me and the coach running the way you want did.
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: Somebody came in and sent him an email, as per
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: earlier agreements, we will be filming Hard Knocks starting the
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: Please make all necessary now, and he sent.
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: Back the hell.
- 1:47:06Speaker 3: It seems like Bill must not have been the originator
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: of this idea, or they wanted to show an aspect
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: that he was not going to get into, you know,
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: because he you know, we know Bill to be Bill Belichick,
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: so he the kind of coaching he's going to be
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: on the field.
- 1:47:24Speaker 7: I'm not going to be out here and be fluffy
- 1:47:26Speaker 7: yeah and mix my words. So you can already in
- 1:47:30Speaker 7: the Bill Belichick thing. The players don't have jersey numbers
- 1:47:35Speaker 7: or names for their spring practice. That's something he did
- 1:47:38Speaker 7: with the Patriots.
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: So he's just a guy. He'd probably rather not have
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: chick you. He didn't want that you.
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: I'm pointing name the one I'm pointing at you. Get
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: over here, seventeen seventeen. Come here, we'll be back to
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: sports jock show. Right out there.
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: And it's im medium because I'm not.
- 1:48:01Speaker 9: His son is set.
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: And I'll tell a little bit about the.
- 1:48:06Speaker 12: Don't Go Away or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:48:09Speaker 12: Wayne Dan. Videos coming up next.
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:48:22Speaker 4: life insurance.
- 1:48:23Speaker 11: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:48:24Speaker 11: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:48:27Speaker 11: forever life insurance.
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:48:32Speaker 11: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:48:34Speaker 11: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:48:36Speaker 11: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:48:38Speaker 11: the insurance informant.
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:48:42Speaker 4: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:48:45Speaker 20: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:48:47Speaker 20: leave my family the bills or benefits. The answer is easy.
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:48:52Speaker 4: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.

- 1:50:22Speaker 32: Now it's time for the school board when we put
- 1:50:26Speaker 32: a spin on LFE and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:50:30Speaker 32: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:46Speaker 8: Arrive.
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: Looks like on with that.
- 1:50:51Speaker 6: I've been grinding out side out day with and they
- 1:50:54Speaker 6: ain't going in listen with mine was Mi Mile.
- 1:50:59Speaker 3: Welcome back to the sports y'all showing him this war
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: shock wing cand November the fourth, two thousand and four.
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: November two thousand and four first career Player of the
- 1:51:16Speaker 3: Month award for Lebron James. February twenty twenty five Player
- 1:51:30Speaker 3: of the Month. Lebron James said it again, so I
- 1:51:37Speaker 3: get these names right. The month of November in two
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: thousand and four, Lebron James won his first Player of
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: the Month award, James with a j. This past month,
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: February twenty twenty five, Lebron James won the Player of
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: the Month.
- 1:52:04Speaker 6: Them dudes got the same name, but they can't be
- 1:52:06Speaker 6: the same player because that was twenty one years ago.
- 1:52:09Speaker 6: And them dudes don't play professional sports that long. So
- 1:52:13Speaker 6: that's amazing his son.
- 1:52:14Speaker 1: Now is No, I didn't say this is Lebron, Lebron.
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: It's the king waiting now, not the Prince. You're talking
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: about the same dude, same dude, the same dude twenty
- 1:52:26Speaker 1: one years later, still player of the month.
- 1:52:29Speaker 6: And ain't nobody trying to check his drugs? That man
- 1:52:35Speaker 6: that just ruined it. Lebron and Ron, they're just ruined it.
- 1:52:38Speaker 6: You think that man did not twenty one twenty two.
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: Years in the NBA and ain't took no fresh yearine
- 1:52:43Speaker 1: into the test.
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: Come on, man, I just want to show y'all out
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: there to be questioning the man's ability. Sometimes you are
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: watching greatness and you're just not appreciating it because you
- 1:52:56Speaker 3: got your you got your Jordan threes on well, and
- 1:53:00Speaker 3: so you decided.
- 1:53:00Speaker 6: This it's not great. But that is outstanding right there.
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: This is the thing I think also that happens with greatness.
- 1:53:10Speaker 6: There's a level of fatigue, there's a level of a
- 1:53:18Speaker 6: commonality that we project onto greatness. I'm around it so
- 1:53:21Speaker 6: much like I watched Superman fly around the Earth and
- 1:53:25Speaker 6: reverse the axis of the Earth, and he turned back
- 1:53:28Speaker 6: time and then he beat up Bizarro Superman.
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: And I've seen that so many times.
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: You know how many times you're gonna beat up Bizarro Superman.
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: Bruh.
- 1:53:37Speaker 6: But this is real super stuff happening. We're just so
- 1:53:44Speaker 6: used to it now that we imagine that it's common.
- 1:53:47Speaker 3: Yeah, we're dismissing the mere fact that this is the
- 1:53:52Speaker 3: same gentleman like you're saying to the point that he's
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: forty and still averaging close to twenty six points a game,
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: like eleventh or twelfth in the league in scoring steel.
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: Twenty two years later.
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: Now I don't know where and how and when, And
- 1:54:13Speaker 3: that's why I said, at certain point, it just becomes
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: preference that guys are just now, you're just what you prefer.
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: They're all top notch.
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: There is no wrong vote for you to say Kareem
- 1:54:29Speaker 3: and bick Kenny to say magic. There is no really,
- 1:54:35Speaker 3: it just becomes preference of what you think makes a person.
- 1:54:40Speaker 3: Right because twenty two years at twenty seven twenty six
- 1:54:44Speaker 3: points a game each and every year, I don't know
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: what you're supposed to say that we've.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: Never had it that far up and ain't nobody pulled
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: a bone out of his hip. Yet no.
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: So true, right there two men have in charge with
- 1:55:04Speaker 3: man slaughter. If you remember the case with the Kansas
- 1:55:07Speaker 3: City gentlemen, the three gentlemen, that is still a mystery
- 1:55:12Speaker 3: of what happened Clayton mcguinney, David Harrington, Ricky Johnson back
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: in January twenty twenty four, some kind of way they
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: ended up in the backyard. But they have announced that
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: Jordan Willis and Ivory Carson have been hit with three
- 1:55:36Speaker 3: counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of delivery of
- 1:55:41Speaker 3: a control substance. Basically, they've pushed the law out and
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: basically saying because you brought those drugs which seemed to
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: be they've identified fentanyl and cocaine. I guess they had
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: it delivered door, dashed it something, and I guess the
- 1:56:04Speaker 3: three the guys in the backyard decided they would want
- 1:56:07Speaker 3: it to get some air get there with it, and
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: it wanted to be cold outside. I guess, I don't
- 1:56:14Speaker 3: know what I mean.
- 1:56:15Speaker 6: Maybe maybe they went, maybe they went to revive themselves.
- 1:56:18Speaker 6: I'm gonna go outside and the coal air will wake
- 1:56:20Speaker 6: me up because I'm not and this fening on, this
- 1:56:22Speaker 6: cocaine got me in. Oh, I feel like I'm man,
- 1:56:26Speaker 6: let me get some. And then they go outside and
- 1:56:28Speaker 6: maybe the two dudes on the inside go, man, it's cold,
- 1:56:31Speaker 6: and they closed the door. And then everybody gets groggy
- 1:56:34Speaker 6: and pass out on this tainted drug or this two
- 1:56:39Speaker 6: potent drug or whatever the situation is. And then the
- 1:56:42Speaker 6: three outside die from exposure. And now the two on
- 1:56:45Speaker 6: the inside are charged with their murders.
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: Now when we can the two delivered, Yes, that bought
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: the drugs. Well, i'm we pitched in. I'm here, I
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: was buying drugs for the five people. Ain't They're charging
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: the drug men the drugs the drug delivered.
- 1:57:00Speaker 6: Okay, And see that to me is because they did
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: that with the picture, the baseball picture, the Major League picture,
- 1:57:07Speaker 6: the young starter I think Texas Rangers may or I
- 1:57:12Speaker 6: think they did it with the gentleman he was in
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: the boy band just recently fell off a balcony. Oh yeah,
- 1:57:20Speaker 6: Liam Liam Payne. And they're charging the the person who
- 1:57:27Speaker 6: sold the drugs with the death when they don't they
- 1:57:33Speaker 6: don't charge the alcohol beverage distributor for a drunk driving actions.
- 1:57:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's always been a case of how is that
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: that kind of like you said, or chicken egg, How
- 1:57:45Speaker 3: does it who's really at fault?
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: Because now we didn't all passed out from cocaine and
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: fittingelm a right.
- 1:57:54Speaker 3: And not at fault like there's an innocent party, right,
- 1:57:57Speaker 3: like nobody fault to where you take it to the
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: murder right? I was selling the drugs now, if you
- 1:58:04Speaker 3: can prove I was selling knowingly a bad batch right right?
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: You knew this was a hot dose when you gave
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: it to me, that's different.
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: But can you hold someone I tell you what I
- 1:58:17Speaker 3: think is quality, not go and take it to to
- 1:58:25Speaker 3: you pass or die?
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: Right now? I'm on the hook for that, right And.
- 1:58:29Speaker 7: In some cases they don't even the drug dealer doesn't
- 1:58:32Speaker 7: even know that it's been laced with finn.
- 1:58:34Speaker 6: And I'm saying, now I've served twenty five people, four
- 1:58:37Speaker 6: of them passed away, you know? Is that like COVID,
- 1:58:41Speaker 6: you know, where certain people with pre existing conditions or
- 1:58:45Speaker 6: something like that. But everybody's not dying from this, So
- 1:58:48Speaker 6: it's not like I'm mixed getting that back from everybody.
- 1:58:51Speaker 7: But it's it's it's a it's in a way like
- 1:58:55Speaker 7: a lottery, like it can people's bodies respond differently to
- 1:59:01Speaker 7: different doses of fentanyl because it's it's happened a lot
- 1:59:04Speaker 7: where I said, the dealers don't even know, and it's
- 1:59:07Speaker 7: it's undetected for in a.
- 1:59:10Speaker 6: Lot of ways, the same way with allergy medicine. If
- 1:59:13Speaker 6: some people react adversely to it, so I don't. I
- 1:59:17Speaker 6: can't sue the company because I was the one side effect.
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: And we are a notion. The truth is he will
- 1:59:28Speaker 1: throw you to the ocean.
- 1:59:30Speaker 29: It's time to rap things up on the Sports June
- 1:59:34Speaker 29: Show with Wayney.
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: When you're Sounds of the Ocean, give the swat Shall
- 2:00:03Speaker 3: testamented to Vin. We'd like to thank you for tuning
- 2:00:05Speaker 3: in to today's show. Any minute, any segment, any hour
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: that you caught of a show. I hope you were
- 2:00:12Speaker 3: in a tain or at least informed. A commands you,
- 2:00:16Speaker 3: Greg Big Kenny, thank you for your contributions all week
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: to the show. If you missed any of the show,
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: you can go to Amazon Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio,
- 2:00:28Speaker 3: or Spotify and hear the replay. Over the last year
- 2:00:33Speaker 3: and even the Super Bowl, Kendrick Lamar shined his big
- 2:00:39Speaker 3: hit not like Us, demanded and commanded the airways.
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: So this is just a plea.
- 2:00:51Speaker 3: To someone like a Kendrick Lamar or any of you huge,
- 2:00:56Speaker 3: big name hip hop artists out there. We've been down
- 2:01:02Speaker 3: this road before and we have it again. She money
- 2:01:08Speaker 3: mel running. I would imagine is how you say his name?
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: Young man.
- 2:01:16Speaker 3: Down Monday in Texas and his daughter shot and killed
- 2:01:22Speaker 3: at a car wash a little running the rapper cleaning
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: out his car. Two gentlemen come by and start shooting
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: at him, killing him and his five year old daughter.
- 2:01:40Speaker 3: I started off telling about Kendrick Lamar or any of
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: you powerful hip hop artists. It's great and comical that
- 2:01:50Speaker 3: you write raps and rhymes against each other, but maybe
- 2:01:56Speaker 3: it's time to start writing one about stopping the violence.
- 2:02:00Speaker 3: Seems to be hovering over hip hop. I know a
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: lot of people will say a lot of these guys
- 2:02:07Speaker 3: aren't necessarily hip hop artists. Their jang bank well aren't it?
- 2:02:14Speaker 3: Hasn't it become synonymous? Isn't that just basically apples and oranges?
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: Is all fruit?
- 2:02:24Speaker 3: Just like to hear something come across like they've at
- 2:02:28Speaker 3: least tried it back and then they would stop the violence.
- 2:02:32Speaker 3: So many stories that we see in our community of
- 2:02:35Speaker 3: the hip hop world that's just different than other music.
- 2:02:40Speaker 3: Really don't hear a lot about some jazz musicians shooting
- 2:02:43Speaker 3: each other these days.
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: So that's all my plea is today.
- 2:02:48Speaker 3: Command you Greg do Really, No Ocean just been a
- 2:02:51Speaker 3: story that is been digging at me ever since I
- 2:02:54Speaker 3: read it because I can just picture the five year old,
- 2:02:58Speaker 3: and I'm where there used to be a cold that
- 2:03:01Speaker 3: you couldn't shoot when kids were around, But I guess
- 2:03:05Speaker 3: that cold no longer exists. So be careful this weekend.
- 2:03:10Speaker 3: Stay prayed up, tell those that you love that you
- 2:03:15Speaker 3: love them, and be kind to each other.
- 2:03:20Speaker 1: We'll see you in the future. From the Sports Shock Show.
- 2:03:23Speaker 1: Peace
