- 0:19Hello and welcome to episode 72 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:24Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:27I am your host, Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:34Happy Tuesday. Another day here in the arena,
- 0:36guys. Another day where I'm living the
- 0:38dream on my San Diego vacation, visiting the fam, the in laws
- 0:43which have treated me very, very well.
- 0:45We just finished up A2 or kind of two night, three day visit to
- 0:49San Onofre Beach. I told you guys about it
- 0:52yesterday, but I've been having a great time.
- 0:55I tell you what, San Diego with the weather and all the palm
- 0:57trees, it's about as good as it gets.
- 0:59It's kind of hot here, it's about 95°, but 95 in San Diego
- 1:03does not feel like 95 in humid in Boston.
- 1:06I will take the San Diego version every single time.
- 1:08So today we did pack up our campsite and we actually came
- 1:13back to to Lakeside, which is where I'm staying with the in
- 1:17laws. But before we left last night,
- 1:19had a great dinner. I want, I want to give us some
- 1:20shout outs, give you guys some color to my trip in San Diego
- 1:23here. But we went to San Clemente,
- 1:25which was about, I don't know, 10 minutes from the San Onofre
- 1:28beach, little cute downtown. Apparently it's Orange County.
- 1:32I guess it's not exactly San Diego or maybe it's on the
- 1:35border when I'm walking down the street as we went out to dinner
- 1:38at this great place. Avila's El Ranchito Mexican
- 1:42restaurant had one of the best Mexican dinners I've ever had.
- 1:45I got what was it the I got tacos, The blackened mahi mahi
- 1:49tacos with some genuine legit guacamole.
- 1:52We went to the South Swell hand dipped ice cream afterwards,
- 1:56which is awesome, which is a style of ice cream you don't
- 1:59really have in New England. In New England you got to get a
- 2:01waffle cone or a sugar cone and then you get how many ever
- 2:04scoops of ice cream you want out here.
- 2:06A little bit different and I kind of like it out here more
- 2:08than New England, but I got ice cream that was dipped in
- 2:12chocolate and it kind of hardened and then you kind of
- 2:14break it up and eat it with a spoon.
- 2:16Delicious, absolutely fantastic. We finished up our our camping
- 2:20excursion. I again I'm now back in Lakeside
- 2:23and tonight we are going to grill at home some carne asada.
- 2:26So my trip is almost over. My last day is tomorrow, then
- 2:29I'll be back in Boston. But with that being said guys,
- 2:33enough about my San Diego trip. How about another winning day in
- 2:36the sports betting arena? 2 and 1 + 0.52 units.
- 2:39Yesterday had a couple big hits with the Rangers as the bats
- 2:42came alive and they got down a bunch of runs to take out the
- 2:47Angels, which was nice as we cashed our money line bet on
- 2:49Texas and then nice total. And again, a few people actually
- 2:53DM me. Sometimes they say why don't you
- 2:54bet more totals to me Totals. I picked my spots.
- 2:57I let the totals kind of scream at me to take them versus trying
- 3:01to search for a total. But we did get a nice one
- 3:03yesterday with the White Sox and the Twins over 9.
- 3:06That was a six to six game going into extras.
- 3:09I believe it was an 8/6 or 76. But either way, cash the over 9
- 3:13member. That was a great bet.
- 3:14Split 51% bets, 74% money. Wind was blowing out a little
- 3:18bit bad bullpen, some good offenses, some bad pitching.
- 3:22So it's nice to see that Minnesota White Sox total fly
- 3:25over. The only loser was the Nationals
- 3:27and I don't know about the Nats. They just again, they were
- 3:29sharp, just couldn't come through.
- 3:31Sticks were completely dead. But a 2 and 1 + 0.52 day.
- 3:35I will take that every day of the week.
- 3:37So good start to our week, guys. Let's see if we can keep it
- 3:39rolling for today. Now moving on to today, Big
- 3:42Tuesday for episode 72 of the all systems Gopod powered by
- 3:46Rhythm. I have a 5 pack of sweats for
- 3:48you that we'll talk about, including right back to Major
- 3:50League Baseball A4 pack. Kind of some little bit more of
- 3:54expensive numbers here, but I do have three money lines and one
- 3:57total. Again, a total that screamed out
- 4:00to me and it wasn't one that I searched for, but kind of like
- 4:02yesterday, found some good juice movement with a good bet split
- 4:06and some good weather. So four MLB bets and then back
- 4:09to the WNBA. That's right, we're going to see
- 4:12we can continue to keep our WNBA hot streak going.
- 4:14We've gone three and one, our last four, and I found a total.
- 4:18There's only one game today, but I found a total that is
- 4:21basically a sharp move across the market and a ton of rhythm
- 4:24system matches, both community models and a Rhythm AI model and
- 4:28my own model that I created, which I call the Josh AI model.
- 4:31So we will be hit getting down on a total in the WNBA with a
- 4:35great edge from rhythm for today.
- 4:37So that being said, let's get right back into it.
- 4:39Guys. Talk about our sweats for today.
- 4:42First on the board, let's go to Baltimore, Camden Yards, which
- 4:45by the way, if you've never been, you got to get to.
- 4:47I have some relatives and Bethesda and Chevy Chase.
- 4:50My dad grew up in Maryland, used to go there pretty much every
- 4:53summer when I was younger. But Camden Yards is one of my
- 4:56favorite stadiums. Got to get the the hard shell
- 4:58crabs and some shrimp and some Old Bay sauce.
- 5:00So anyway, Chicago Cubs at the Orioles, 6:35 PM Eastern Time.
- 5:05First pitch for tonight. Cubs come in 42 and 49.
- 5:09Just took two or three against the Angels.
- 5:11They won the finale of the series on Sunday 5 nothing as a
- 5:15- 155 home favorite. Meanwhile, the OS 57 and 33.
- 5:20Just took two or three against the Athletics.
- 5:22They won Sunday series finale six to three as a - 180 Rd.
- 5:26favorite. So pitching match up for
- 5:28tonight's interleague series opener.
- 5:29The Cubs are going with Rady Jameson Tion five and four 2.99
- 5:34ERA. Meanwhile, the Orioles are going
- 5:36to go with fellow ready Dean Kramer, who's four and four with
- 5:39a 3.93 ERA. So what do you seen across the
- 5:42market? Here, well, looks like the the
- 5:44chalk, the sharp move is on the Birds, the Orioles.
- 5:47I'm going with the Orioles here, guys.
- 5:48The Orioles opened at around a -, 145 home favorite Chicago
- 5:52around a + 125 row dog. And wise guys have laid the
- 5:56chalk with Baltimore. The Orioles have risen from -145
- 5:59all the way up to -170. So let's talk about, you know,
- 6:02steam indicators $0.10 or more. Well, this one is a $0.25 move.
- 6:07So on the one hand, it's like, hey, could have gotten -145 now
- 6:10it's -170 you feel like, hey, and maybe I'm not getting the
- 6:13best of the number anymore, which is true.
- 6:15But hey, that's the number available to us now.
- 6:18And I want to be with the sharp money, not against it.
- 6:20So Baltimore with that smart money move -145 to -170 the
- 6:25receiving roughly 89% of money line bets in dollars.
- 6:28So both a pro and Joe bet split. Publix probably saying, hey,
- 6:31Orioles are good, lay it at home.
- 6:33Cubs are, you know, seven games below 500.
- 6:35But wise guys are saying, hey, there's value here.
- 6:38We like the number, at least the opening number and hit that
- 6:41line, move toward Baltimore, 'cause that line to really jump
- 6:44up in favor of the Birds. Now Baltimore is matching with a
- 6:47bunch of systems that I really look toward for betting system
- 6:50matches. One would be the interleague
- 6:52favorite. Just a very classic system,
- 6:54their interleague favorite. Lack of familiarity.
- 6:57You don't play the opposing team from the different, different
- 7:00league very often. So kind of the cream rises to
- 7:03the top. You see basically the lack of
- 7:05familiarity benefiting the better team.
- 7:08Also interleague favorite off a win.
- 7:09So carrying some momentum as the Orioles won their last game
- 7:12against Oakland and now they're in an early favorite here for
- 7:14tonight. Also system match.
- 7:16We love both. Had the day off.
- 7:18Take the favorite. Very simple.
- 7:20Both teams are off yesterday. Baltimore's the favorite today.
- 7:23That system is cashing at roughly a 60% clip this season.
- 7:27Now, I'm also going to bank on the Orioles offense.
- 7:29They're hitting 256 with 146 home runs and 464 runs scored.
- 7:34The Cubs are only hitting 229 this year with 87 homers and 374
- 7:39runs scored. Also, both Raties here on the
- 7:42bunk for today. Well, guess what?
- 7:43Baltimore is hitting 252 against Raties.
- 7:46That's the 8th best in baseball. Chicago is only hitting 227
- 7:51against Raties. That's 24th and baseball.
- 7:53So hopefully the better offense, in particular the splits against
- 7:56Raties really scream Baltimore here.
- 7:58So hopefully they come to life and put up some runs for us
- 8:01tonight. Home Rd. splits also favor the
- 8:03Orioles. The Cubs are only 17 and 28 on
- 8:06the road. The Orioles are 29 and 17 at
- 8:09home. Chicago is -24 and run
- 8:11differential Baltimore plus one O 6.
- 8:14Also, I've seen the Orioles really clean up on teams that
- 8:17missed the playoffs the previous year and teams that have a below
- 8:20500 record. I think they're around a 70%
- 8:22clip this season against teams against against teams out again
- 8:26aren't very good basically. So you add it all up.
- 8:28Big steam move. Bunch of good system matches,
- 8:31interleague favorite, better bats.
- 8:33I'm going with the OS hopefully to start our night off with the
- 8:35winner. I got Baltimore at -165 keep on
- 8:40cruising. 7:10 PM Eastern Eastern Time, first pitch,
- 8:43Oakland Athletics against my Boston Red Sox.
- 8:46Going into this one, the Athletics, 34 and 58, just
- 8:49dropped two or three against the aforementioned Orioles.
- 8:51They lost that finale on Sunday, six to three as a + 150 home
- 8:55dog. Meanwhile, the Sox and I didn't
- 8:58know if I'd have a baseball season this year, but I got a
- 9:00baseball season. They're surprising me.
- 9:01They're playing great. If you had the over, I think it
- 9:03was 77 1/2 win total. You're feeling pretty good right
- 9:06now. The Red Sox are 49 and 40.
- 9:09They just took two or three against the Yankees.
- 9:11They won the Sunday series finale. 3 nothing on Sunday
- 9:14Night Baseball as a + 110 row dog.
- 9:17So for tonight's series opener, the As are going with righty
- 9:20Joey Estes, who's three and three with a 4.39 ERA.
- 9:24Meanwhile, the Sox are going with righty Brian Baio, who's
- 9:27eight and five with a 5.19 ERA. So have you seen across the
- 9:30market here? Well, this game open with the
- 9:32Red Sox kind of a hefty favorite -180 Oakland around a + 165 row
- 9:37dog. What's notable to me is that
- 9:39even though this is kind of a big opening number, sharps are
- 9:42not scared off by that expensive chalk.
- 9:44They've laid it with Boston. Red Sox have been steamed up
- 9:47-180 up to -200 Red Sox are getting around 90% of bets and
- 9:52dollars. So both public and sharp
- 9:55support. Heavy one way action with really
- 9:57no buyback whatsoever on Oakland.
- 9:59Also they're getting that big steam moving their favor that 20
- 10:02cent adjustment. Now the Red Sox quite a few
- 10:04advantages here. One would be a non division
- 10:06favorite lack of familiarity benefiting the better team who's
- 10:09expected to win. Red Sox also match the both had
- 10:13the day off take the favorite system, which is again cashing
- 10:16at a roughly 60% clip this season and hopefully the bats
- 10:20are a big advantage for Boston because the Red Sox on the year
- 10:24are hitting 252 with 414 runs scored.
- 10:27The athletics only hitting 2/24 with 347 runs scored.
- 10:32Meanwhile, digging in these pictures a little bit closer S
- 10:35DS had has an ERA of seven point OO on the road this year versus
- 10:401.91 at home. So he's been good at home, bad
- 10:42on the road. He's on the road tonight.
- 10:44Oakland, by the way, 12 and 33 on the road this season.
- 10:47That's the second worst Rd. record and Major League Baseball
- 10:51run differential. Athletics -89 Red Sox plus 36
- 10:55and Brian Baio, who Red Sox into a pretty big extension here,
- 11:00tried to get a good value play by signing him early.
- 11:03He really struggled a bit, but maybe he turned something
- 11:06around. I saw he got pushed back an
- 11:08extra day and then his first start after not pitching very
- 11:11well, he pitched a gem against Miami.
- 11:14So hopefully he continues this good turn around here for
- 11:16tonight. So, you know, I'm not in Boston,
- 11:18I'm in San Diego, but I'm going to root for my Red Sox tonight.
- 11:21Good sharp steam in their favor. Shop around.
- 11:23If you can find Red Sox, anything a little bit less than
- 11:25-200 like if you can find a -, 198.
- 11:29I saw one book maybe -197 there are some books that are -200 -,
- 11:342 O 5. But again, have those multiple
- 11:36outs. Try to get the lowest number you
- 11:38can. I got the Red Sox at -197 Keep
- 11:42on cruising. Next bet for you, Texas Rangers
- 11:45at the LA Angels 9:38 PM Eastern Time, First pitch.
- 11:49Spoiler alert, I'm going right back to the well with the
- 11:51Rangers tonight. But to set the stage, the
- 11:53Rangers 43 and 48, they won last night's series opener nine to
- 11:57four, taking care of business as a -, 155 road favorite.
- 12:02In tonight's rematch, the Rangers are going with ready Max
- 12:05Scherzer, who's been injured all year.
- 12:07I think he's made now three starts at this point.
- 12:09He's been pretty good. I know he's 39 years old.
- 12:11He can still do it one and two with a 2.7 OERA.
- 12:15Meanwhile the angels who are 37 and 53, they're going to go with
- 12:18ready rowancy Contreras who is one and one with a four point O
- 12:224 ERA. So.
- 12:23What do you see across the market here?
- 12:25Well, very similar to last night.
- 12:27Texas opens as a you know, Rd. favorite.
- 12:29They become more of a favorite. Texas open this game PR for
- 12:32tonight as a -. 160 Rd. favorite.
- 12:34LA around a + 145 home dog. We've seen this money move in
- 12:38favor of the Rangers. Rangers -160 now up to -170 so
- 12:44that $0.10 indicator, a big sharp movement in favor of
- 12:47Texas. With that adjustment in their
- 12:49direction, now the Rangers are getting 86% of money line bets,
- 12:53but 88% of money line dollars. So a big heavy wave of both
- 12:58public and wiseguy support in addition to that 10 cent steam
- 13:01move in their favor once again, kind of similar to last night.
- 13:04I'm going to bank on the Rangers offense, which did come through
- 13:06last night, putting up nine runs.
- 13:09They're hitting on the year 243 with 398 runs scored.
- 13:13Angels are hitting 235 with 360, three runs scored.
- 13:17Texas has a good betting system match here as a road favorite
- 13:20with a line move in their direction.
- 13:22So Rd. favorite with $0.10 of steam or more.
- 13:24That's cashing at roughly a 62% clip this year.
- 13:27Also betting system, two bad teams take the favorite.
- 13:30So two teams that are both below 500 take the favorite.
- 13:34Again, roughly 60% this year would match with the Rangers.
- 13:37And then recent performance, Rangers again won the World
- 13:40Series, struggled a bit, maybe they're starting to get hot.
- 13:42They're six and four over their last ten games, they're hitting
- 13:45288. By the way, I mentioned Wyatt
- 13:47Lankford yesterday. He went, I think he had another
- 13:50Homer last night. I want to say he's now plus 165
- 13:53favorite. That's when the American League
- 13:55rookie of the year. So if you're if you're holding a
- 13:57ticket on Lankford, you're feeling good.
- 13:59You may even want to play him now with some plus money because
- 14:01he's looking like he's maybe going to run away with this
- 14:04thing. But anyway, hitting 288 with a
- 14:062.86 ERA. The Rangers are their last ten
- 14:10that the Halos are only three and seven in their last 10 games
- 14:13are hitting 223 with a 4.81 ERA. And then also mentioned a second
- 14:19ago, you know how Baltimore's, you know, good at home.
- 14:22Well, in this one, this is a spot where the the Angels are
- 14:25bad at home. The Angels on the year are just
- 14:2818 and 27 at home. That's the third worst home
- 14:31record in baseball. The Rangers, by the way, plus 13
- 14:34and run differential Angels minus 83.
- 14:37So you add it all up here, guys. Rangers had a win for us last
- 14:39night. They're in the pretty much
- 14:41carbon copy. Same spot tonight.
- 14:43Rd. favorite with a line move. I'm going right back to the
- 14:45well. I'm going to back Max Scherzer
- 14:47tonight. Let's go Rangers.
- 14:49I got the Rangers at -170 keep on cruising.
- 14:53One more bat for you. And just so happens to be a game
- 14:56at Petco Park, which I went to on Saturday and saw some
- 14:59fireworks. Even though the the Padres lost,
- 15:01it was a great time. But anyway, let's look at a
- 15:04matchup tonight, 9:40 PM Eastern Time, Seattle Mariners visiting
- 15:08the San Diego Padres. Now going into this one, the
- 15:11Mariners are 49 and 43. They are 19 and 25 on the road.
- 15:18The the Mariners just lost two or three against Toronto couple
- 15:23five to four games they lost at home.
- 15:24Now they're opening up a road trip.
- 15:26Meanwhile, the Padres 49 and 45, they're 25 and 24 at home.
- 15:31They just lost two or three at home against the D backs.
- 15:34So we're looking at the line here.
- 15:36You know, Seattle is -135 I want to say Seattle open like -150
- 15:40and that line's come down a bit. So Padres maybe with some plus
- 15:43money could be could be a spot that I lean here.
- 15:46But I'm not going to excuse me. I'm not going to play the side.
- 15:49I'm looking at the total here. It's my one total bet here for
- 15:52tonight. So one thing I noticed with the
- 15:54total, we got the hiccups. Now, first, let's focus on the
- 15:57pitching matchup. Let me just mention this.
- 15:59Logan Gilbert is on the bump for the Mariners.
- 16:02He's five and five with a 2.91 ERA.
- 16:05He'll be opposed by Adam Mazur, who's one and two with a 7.52
- 16:09ERA. But in terms of focusing on the
- 16:11total, I noticed some good liability movement, juice
- 16:15movement, even some line movement on the over.
- 16:17That's right, the OVA. I'm going over in this one,
- 16:20guys. But what's important is he got
- 16:22to get the 7 1/2 because this total open at 7 1/2 and every
- 16:27book across the market is either 7 1/2 / -, 120 or it's actually
- 16:32moved up to 8. So we mentioned this yesterday.
- 16:34You know, it didn't matter, you know, luckily, because whether
- 16:37you played over nine or nine and a half, the Twins White Sox game
- 16:40sailed over. But I think you just want to get
- 16:42in the mindset of always trying to get the triggering number,
- 16:44the number that the wise guys get.
- 16:46So especially with totals, you know, over 7 1/2 is important
- 16:50tonight because if this is a, you know, a five to three-game,
- 16:53it lands on 8. You want to win your over 7 1/2.
- 16:56You don't want to push your over 8.
- 16:58So again, shop around, have multiple outs.
- 17:00That's something we always stress on the pod, so you can
- 17:02get the best number available. But I did notice 2 pretty big
- 17:05books here are available at 7 1/2 over.
- 17:08So I got 7 1/2 over at -120. Now not only has this total been
- 17:13juiced up and even ticked up, seven after eight tells me all
- 17:16liabilities over, but a pretty good bet split as well.
- 17:19At DraftKings, only 55% of bets are on the over, but it accounts
- 17:22for nearly 75% of the money. So again, that tells me public
- 17:27is relatively split with the total, but the big sharper
- 17:29wagers are leaning over now digging into these pitching,
- 17:32pitching, you know, stats here a little bit.
- 17:35You know, Gilbert's been good pretty much all year.
- 17:38His last start out, he gave up four runs and 5.1 innings
- 17:43pitched, 4 one loss to Baltimore.
- 17:45But I'm going to focus on hopefully Seattle's bats really
- 17:48getting to this guy Missouri for tonight.
- 17:50Because if you look at this picture here, Adam Missouri,
- 17:54he's what is he? He's a kind of a journeyman guy.
- 17:58He was born in 2021. So what does that make him?
- 18:0123 years old, young pitcher. He may even be an opener here.
- 18:04But anyway, I was looking at his stats.
- 18:06He's made in his last three starts, basically in his last
- 18:10three starts, the over is 3 and O.
- 18:12So if you kind of look at the the box scores of when this guy
- 18:15pitches last three starts, six to four, nine to seven, seven to
- 18:19six, and he's given up basically 3-4 earned runs every single
- 18:22start. And at home, he has an ERA of
- 18:2410.66 on the road, 4.61. And if you look at the the
- 18:29numbers here for Seattle, they're they're not a great
- 18:32hitting team. Like their batting average is,
- 18:34is pretty low, which is kind of surprising because they're, you
- 18:37know, six games above 500. They're only hitting 217 on the
- 18:40year. San Diego's been a really good
- 18:41offense. They're hitting 263.
- 18:43But I was looking at a couple things here in terms of kind of
- 18:47the trend situation. San Diego is 51 and 42 to the
- 18:51over. The Padres are the 4th best over
- 18:54team in baseball. They're 30 and 17 to the over at
- 18:57home, so they're cashing 64% of the time to the over when they
- 19:01play at Petco Park. And even though Seattle is
- 19:04somewhat of a light hitting team, again, facing a guy like
- 19:06Mazur, hopefully they can get some runs across the board.
- 19:09But they're also 22 and 19 to the over on the road.
- 19:12So they have been a profitable team to the over when they're
- 19:15the visitor. And then I don't need to tell
- 19:17you about the weather in San Diego if you don't know it's
- 19:19it's beautiful here. It's always beautiful 75° maybe
- 19:23maybe closer to 80° for tonight, 5 to 10 mile per hour, winds
- 19:26blowing a little bit left to right, a little bit out.
- 19:29So good weather. We have a kind of this is more
- 19:32of a day to play really in terms of seeing that juice on that 7
- 19:361/2 over really rising and hinted at a movements again.
- 19:39Some books are even up to 8. But yeah, all up guys, again we
- 19:42got San Diego is the 4th best over team in baseball.
- 19:44We got a juiced up over. I'm going to take a shot on the
- 19:47seven and a half over. I got over 7 1/2 at -120 so San
- 19:52Diego, Seattle, over 7 1/2, Rangers, Red Sox, and Orioles.
- 19:56Can we get three out of four? That'll be nice.
- 19:59Now over to the WNBA, because I've been missing some WNBA
- 20:04didn't have any yesterday. And we've, I believe we're three
- 20:06and one our last four. So let's even keep this going
- 20:08here. And the reason I really get
- 20:10excited about the match up here for tonight, which by the way,
- 20:14is going to be the Minnesota Lynx against the LA Sparks.
- 20:17It's the only WNBA game of the night.
- 20:20But I'll kind of walk you through my thought process a
- 20:21little bit when I look at WNBA. So the first thing I do is I
- 20:25look at the line movement and the betting percentages.
- 20:28And then I go to the rhythm and see if rhythm is kind of, you
- 20:31know, providing maybe an angle on One Direction, maybe the side
- 20:34that I was leaning, or maybe it's got a move or a system
- 20:38match on the other direction, which will kind of make me take
- 20:40a step back. But this is a perfect game for
- 20:42tonight. Again, doesn't mean you bet
- 20:441,000,000 units on it. This is one unit like any other
- 20:46bet, but I'm excited about this system match.
- 20:48So let me break this one down for you.
- 20:50This is a 10:00 Eastern Time. First almost said first pitch,
- 20:54but tip off. The links come in 15 and six.
- 20:57One of the best teams in the WNBA.
- 20:59Sparks are bad. They're five and 16.
- 21:02I'm going to focus on the total here though.
- 21:04As I mentioned now, if you look at the spread, the links are
- 21:06about a 3 1/2 or 4 point Rd. favorite.
- 21:09But the total to me is really screaming, screaming over.
- 21:13So this total open at 156 1/2. It's now been bet up to 158 1/2.
- 21:18So right off the bat, seeing in a small market like the WNBA,
- 21:21kind of a niche market, the fact that this total has ticked up
- 21:24two points tells me that smart money is taking the over.
- 21:27Now we dig a little deeper. Let's look at the betting
- 21:29percentages. Only 52% of bets, but 59% of the
- 21:33money is going over here. So basically public is split.
- 21:37And if you even don't even factor in the money here, you
- 21:40know, 5050 line or 5050 bets, but a line really shouldn't move
- 21:43at all yet we're seeing this total tick up.
- 21:45So we have a low bets higher dollar or a 5050 over line move.
- 21:50Also some factors that I looked at before we get to rhythm short
- 21:53spread like the Lynx are only favored by 4, even though they
- 21:56have a much better record. So I always like going over in a
- 21:59short spread game because theoretically it's going to be a
- 22:02little bit more competitive back and forth, maybe get overtime
- 22:06versus if you want an under, you really want to look at a big
- 22:08spread A-Team that's by 15 or more, 10 or more than you get up
- 22:12big, take your foot off the gas, and you just want to just want
- 22:15to gas the clock and end the game.
- 22:17But anyway, the Sparks are allowing 86 points per game.
- 22:21That's the third most or third worst defense in all of the
- 22:24WNBA. And the Lynx are really good
- 22:27offense. They're averaging 82 points a
- 22:28game, their fifth in the WNBA. And offensive rating, they are
- 22:32#3 in field goal percentage, they're shooting roughly 45%
- 22:36from the field. And they're really good 3 point
- 22:38shooting, which again, if you're playing it over, you want to,
- 22:41you want, you want a team that can knock down some threes, but
- 22:44they are shooting 39% from three.
- 22:46That is the number one best free or best 3 point shooting team in
- 22:51the WNBA. Now to put the cherry on top
- 22:55here. So we're building the case.
- 22:56That's how I look at sports betting.
- 22:57You're building a case and once you feel like you've created as
- 23:00like a maybe maybe you feel like you're Better Call Saul or maybe
- 23:04you're you know, I don't know, you're my cousin Vinny.
- 23:06But if you can build a strong enough case where you feel like
- 23:09you can convince a jury, which would be you as the better then
- 23:12you fire. So we're building the case.
- 23:13Total went up. Good bet split short spread over
- 23:16good offense, bad defense. Here's where it gets good.
- 23:20I pop open my Rhythm app, which has been totally redesigned and
- 23:24is fantastic. Great data, same great data, but
- 23:27a better layout and a better, better way to view it and kind
- 23:30of a user experience. But anyway, I go to this game
- 23:32for tonight. I look at a couple things.
- 23:35First, I look at the Rhythm AI backed model.
- 23:37What is the AI backed model predict for this game?
- 23:40Well, the prediction here for a combined total is 166.4, so
- 23:47166.4. We're going over 158 1/2.
- 23:50So not only is that an edge to the over, but it's moving or
- 23:53it's basically the line is moved up, which is in the direction of
- 23:57where this Rhythm AI back model is predicting.
- 24:00Then I also have a model, my Josh AI model, which I created
- 24:03in the beauty of rhythm is you can either just follow the
- 24:05Rhythm AI model that they give to you, or you can create your
- 24:07own based on a specific set of criteria.
- 24:10But my Josh AI model has a predicted final total of 167.
- 24:16So 166.4 is the rhythm prediction 167 is my prediction
- 24:20and then also the feature that is not yet available, but it
- 24:24will be as a premium feature, the community model edge.
- 24:27So you always hear me talk about this guys.
- 24:29I don't want to be a you know, you know, beat a dead horse with
- 24:32this one, but I think it's important because you are
- 24:34basically looking at everyone in the app who has a model that has
- 24:38a system match on this game. You know where where do these
- 24:41models lie? Well all these models are
- 24:43leaning over the community rhythm model edge is 96.9% to
- 24:48the over. So that means of everyone who
- 24:50has a model on the total for this game, nearly 97% of them
- 24:54are going over. So I always want to preface it
- 24:56by saying hey, as a contrarian better, I don't want to be with
- 24:5897%. Never.
- 25:00I want to bet against the public, but the public doesn't
- 25:03really account for rhythm because people who have an
- 25:06account of rhythm, they're pretty smart.
- 25:07They're not dumb public betters at the at the bar.
- 25:09Betting 20 bucks a game or not. I don't mean to demean that.
- 25:12Not 20 bucks a game, but betting based off gut instinct and bias.
- 25:15So you add it all up here, guys, I think we got an over
- 25:18opportunity links sparks over. I got over 158 1/2 again, totals
- 25:23ticked up to great rhythm system matches great community model.
- 25:28I'm rooting for some points links sparks over 158 1/2.
- 25:32So that about does it for episode 72 of the all systems go
- 25:36sports betting podcast powered by rhythm, aforementioned
- 25:39rhythm. If you haven't done it yet, you
- 25:40better go sign up for a 7 day free trial so you can get all
- 25:44these WNBA system matches, get access to the community model as
- 25:48well as obviously right now it's just WNBA, but golf is huge.
- 25:52We got another big golf tournament coming up here.
- 25:55The AI caddy is great. So if you bet golf or bet WNBA,
- 25:59go give Rhythm a shot. You can get the AI backed models

- 26:12iTunes to get a Rhythm 7 day free trial.
- 26:15Also, I want to mention Juice Reel.
- 26:17Juice Reel does a great job of powering this podcast and what I
- 26:21love about Juice Reel is a couple things.
- 26:23One, you can sync up your sports books to Juice Reel.
- 26:26So when you place a bet at your book, it goes right to Juice
- 26:28Reel and then it tracks your performance.

- 26:38bucks up to you. But also you get the juice reel
- 26:41AI backed picks each day, two per day that come out at noon.
- 26:45The sharp mush opportunities as well as arbitrage opportunities,
- 26:48which are basically just grinding out, you know, 5 units
- 26:51or $5 here, $3 there. It's a it's a good opportunity
- 26:55to help you cash some tickets and and hopefully make some more
- 26:59money on the side. But anyway, just like rhythm go
- 27:02set up for juice reel with that 7 day free trial listed in the
- 27:04bio description of this podcast. Also, if you like this podcast,
- 27:08if you've learned a thing or two, if you've come to lean on
- 27:11the pod you enjoy when it comes out each day to to kind of sit
- 27:14back and pull up a chair to the virtual bar, talk sharp sports
- 27:17betting. And maybe you want to see, hey,
- 27:20here are the games I'm looking at.
- 27:21Am I overlapping with Josh? Or maybe I have a game that you
- 27:24didn't consider? Or maybe maybe I'm on opposite
- 27:27sides as you are. But either way, hopefully you
- 27:30come to rely and value the data and the breakdowns.
- 27:33And if you enjoy the pod and you want to make my day, let me know
- 27:35you appreciate the hard work that I put in each day putting
- 27:38out the pod, then do me a favor. Can you please give this podcast
- 27:42a 5 star review? All you got to do if you're on
- 27:44Spotify or iTunes, click the five stars.
- 27:47If you want to give a good nice review, that would be great as
- 27:49well. But it really helps us to rise
- 27:51up the rankings and create more steam, pun intended, little more
- 27:54steam on the pod. So thank you so much for
- 27:57listening and thank you if you could give that a 5 star review.
- 28:00Of course, if you enjoy the breakdowns, you want to learn
- 28:02more about data-driven, sharp contrarian sports betting, Guess
- 28:06what? I wrote a book, it's called the
- 28:08everything Guide to Sports Betting.
- 28:09So pick one up for you or a friend, just go to Amazon.com,
- 28:13type in the everything guide to sports betting.
- 28:15It's got everything I've learned in the industry.
- 28:17How lines are set, how and why they move, how to read line
- 28:20movement, how to locate sharp action, how to place a bet in
- 28:22person or online, how to shop for the best line, how to set up
- 28:25a bankroll management plan, all included in the everything guide
- 28:29to Sports Betting. So how about does it guys?
- 28:31Another pod here in the books. My parting words as always, stay
- 28:35before I get to that part. Whether I see you at the Borgata
- 28:39in Atlantic City, Twin River in Rhode Island, the Brooklyn, New
- 28:41Hampshire, Foxwoods are Mohegan Sun down in Connecticut at the
- 28:44Encore in Boston or Plain Ridge Park Casino or MGM Springfield.
- 28:48The my neck of the woods in Massachusetts or closer to where
- 28:51I am now in the desert. I don't know if you can call San
- 28:54Diego desert, but we're not too far from from Arizona and of
- 28:57course from Las Vegas. Whether you are in Vegas at
- 29:01where the true wise guys get down, where Billy Walter sends
- 29:04his number runners, where the lowest use possible is found at
- 29:06the South Point, or of course, jumping in the stadium swim pool
- 29:10if you go to Circa, which is pretty much the gambler's
- 29:13paradise there, which I'm think I'm due for a visit.
- 29:17My last one was the Super Bowl. But either way, wherever I see
- 29:21you at the book, you're going to walk up to me and you're going
- 29:23to show me some winning tickets from yesterday.
- 29:25A nice 2IN1 grind out 1/2 unit night.
- 29:28We'll take it every time. Show me a Rangers ticket show me
- 29:30a White Sox twins over 9 ticket Guess what first one's on me
- 29:34next one's on you. We're going to post about the

- 29:39So I wish the best of luck everyone have a great Tuesday we
- 29:43we will be back at it tomorrow for episode 73 of the all
- 29:46systems go sports betting pod powered by rhythm.
- 29:49But of course, my parting words, stay sharp, stay contrarian, bet
- 29:52against the public, place yourself on the side of the
- 29:54house. Always be with the smart money,
- 29:56never against it. Will smart money won every time?
- 29:59Of course not. Hope you guys know by now, which
- 30:01I think you do. Betting is hard.
- 30:03It's not easy. It gives you perspective when
- 30:06you're winning, it gives you confidence when you're losing.
- 30:08It lets you know, hey, this is not this is not an easy business
- 30:11run. There's always a daily
- 30:11challenge. But if we can continue to make
- 30:14bets based on our head and not our heart, based on what the
- 30:16market is telling us against the public, with the house, with the
- 30:20pros, flat bet, avoid parlays, get some CLV.
- 30:23If we can do that, we're going to be successful sports bettors.
- 30:26So enjoy the sweats tonight, guys. 5 pack.
- 30:28Let's see when we get three or more.
- 30:29We got some baseball, we got some WNBA.
- 30:31See if we can cash some tickets on a big Tuesday night.
- 30:34I'll see you guys tomorrow for episode 73 of the All Systems Go
- 30:38Sports Betting pod powered by Rhythm.
- 30:40Have a great Tuesday night everybody.
- 30:42Good luck.
