- 1:40Speaker 2: Besides our special exclusive content that comes every Friday, we
- 1:44Speaker 2: have a very fun video that we're going to share
- 1:46Speaker 2: with you that you will love. that I'm only going
- 1:49Speaker 2: to put on there, and so much more all the time.
- 1:52Speaker 2: So let's get into it. Well, Kevin Federline, Britney Spears'
- 1:58Speaker 2: former husband, father of her two sons, is coming out
- 2:01Speaker 2: with his memoir. The title is horrible. The title is like,
- 2:06Speaker 2: You Thought You Never Knew, or it's not a great title.
- 2:09Speaker 2: But anyway, it's his memoir. He's doing interviews for it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And he goes on to say that he's very concerned
- 2:16Speaker 2: for Britney's mental health and well-being, that everything got worse
- 2:22Speaker 2: once the Free Britney movement happened, and that his boys
- 2:26Speaker 2: very much worry about her and want to have a
- 2:28Speaker 2: great relationship with her. He also reveals in his book
- 2:32Speaker 2: that at one point when the boys were much younger,
- 2:35Speaker 2: they woke up with her allegedly watching them sleep with
- 2:41Speaker 2: a knife in her hand. And then you're like, oh,
- 2:45Speaker 2: but they want to have a great relationship with her. Well,
- 2:46Speaker 2: this is... So Her reps are coming forward saying, of course,
- 2:51Speaker 2: Kevin comes out with a book now that the child
- 2:53Speaker 2: support has ended since both boys are over 18. What
- 2:57Speaker 2: is all the point of this? He says, no, I
- 3:00Speaker 2: want nothing more than them to have a great relationship
- 3:02Speaker 2: with her. But she is at full peak of spinning
- 3:07Speaker 2: and the brown sensible pumps go on every trip, every
- 3:10Speaker 2: location with her. And you know how I feel when
- 3:13Speaker 2: those brown sensible pumps come out. versus cowboy boots or
- 3:17Speaker 2: something else or something about them and yeah it's concerning
- 3:21Speaker 2: the the dollar dresses all of it but we're also
- 3:26Speaker 2: really used to it and I kind of feel like
- 3:27Speaker 2: people are just like whatever let her do her boo
- 3:31Speaker 2: and he also said that the night before their wedding
- 3:36Speaker 2: he caught her calling and talking to Justin Timberlake who
- 3:40Speaker 2: was her you know boyfriend in the Mickey Mouse Club
- 3:43Speaker 2: and supposedly like they lost their virginity together and they
- 3:47Speaker 2: were these you know big stars they had the dance-off
- 3:49Speaker 2: and the matching and then they also went on the
- 3:51Speaker 2: red carpet and the matching jean outfits the whole thing
- 3:54Speaker 2: and she said well i just you know wanted to
- 3:56Speaker 2: talk to him one one last time what i find
- 3:59Speaker 2: interesting is someone who has studied a lot about britney
- 4:02Speaker 2: spears is when she was getting married for the second
- 4:05Speaker 2: time actually the third because the first one was jason
- 4:08Speaker 2: alexander that was that guy's name that she got married
- 4:11Speaker 2: to in vegas that was like her childhood friend Then
- 4:14Speaker 2: she married Kayfed. When she was marrying Sam, who was
- 4:19Speaker 2: on Juicy Scoop, Jason Alexander claimed that he was talking
- 4:26Speaker 2: to her on the phone leading up to the day
- 4:28Speaker 2: of the wedding and that he was in town and
- 4:31Speaker 2: that she wanted to see him. This is all that
- 4:33Speaker 2: he's like claimed in interviews and whatnot. And, you know,
- 4:37Speaker 2: he has a kind of an interesting past and he
- 4:39Speaker 2: does have somewhat of a record which could be disputed
- 4:43Speaker 2: or alleged, whatever. Nothing too serious. But he was found
- 4:48Speaker 2: on her property in this area, not too far from
- 4:52Speaker 2: where I'm recording this, the day of the wedding. And
- 4:56Speaker 2: they thought, oh my God, you know, he's trying to
- 4:59Speaker 2: get to her. Now he claims in interviews, Jason Alexander,
- 5:03Speaker 2: that they were talking, that they were contacting each other,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and that he had plans to see her. And so
- 5:10Speaker 2: he was going to like go through like a hill
- 5:13Speaker 2: into her backyard to find her. Anyway, I just think
- 5:16Speaker 2: it's interesting that in both cases of her getting married,
- 5:20Speaker 2: she was in contact with an ex-boyfriend. I don't know. Anyway, K-Fed,
- 5:27Speaker 2: who knows? But people are going to be curious about
- 5:29Speaker 2: this book. Are people going to actually buy it and
- 5:31Speaker 2: read it all the way through? Well, they should if
- 5:34Speaker 2: they're huge fans. We'll see. I mean, he did raise
- 5:37Speaker 2: the boys. They seem to be doing well. And if
- 5:41Speaker 2: this is his truth, you know, we'll see. So there
- 5:44Speaker 2: you go with that. Well, you guys, I predicted a
- 5:46Speaker 2: lot of things since I've been doing Juicy Scoop for
- 5:49Speaker 2: 10 years, wearing my 10-year anniversary shirt. And some of
- 5:53Speaker 2: it has been fashion. And I told you that with
- 5:56Speaker 2: the rise a few years ago of side cleavage, then
- 6:00Speaker 2: there was underboob cleavage. I said there's going to be
- 6:05Speaker 2: vagina cleavage or groin cleavage. I was right about that.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Camel toe has made a huge comeback. People can buy
- 6:14Speaker 2: camel toe insertions. So if they feel like their leggings
- 6:18Speaker 2: are not giving them enough of a camel toe and
- 6:20Speaker 2: they're envious of the girl at the matcha place who
- 6:25Speaker 2: has a larger one, they can do that.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 6:29Speaker 2: People, I'm so sick of the sheer outfits that everybody's
- 6:32Speaker 2: wearing where it's just like a G-string bikini, nips out, and,
- 6:37Speaker 2: you know, you just wear like a sheer cover-up and
- 6:39Speaker 2: you go to the Oscars. I think that look is done. Well,
- 6:44Speaker 2: one of the geniuses of our time is Kim Kardashian. What, Heather? Yes,
- 6:49Speaker 2: genius marketing. When I first saw this, someone sent to me,
- 6:53Speaker 2: I immediately went and did my own research because I couldn't,
- 6:57Speaker 2: I was pretty sure it was real. But in this world,
- 7:00Speaker 2: we don't know. And Skims, the billionaire, billion-dollar company of
- 7:08Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian, is selling faux hair micro-string thongs. It's a
- 7:15Speaker 2: mix of fake, curly, and straight hair. So, I mean,
- 7:21Speaker 2: I don't know who did it. You know, it's like
- 7:22Speaker 2: if you blew out your hair and you just did, like,
- 7:24Speaker 2: pieces of curling it on your head, you want to
- 7:26Speaker 2: do that for your fake bush. And you can get
- 7:30Speaker 2: in all different shades so it can match your color.
- 7:34Speaker 2: There was a time when people said, everyone is getting
- 7:37Speaker 2: their bushes lasered off. What if it comes back in style? Well,
- 7:42Speaker 2: as my mother said, everything does come back in style,
- 7:45Speaker 2: including a hairy bush. And so if you never went
- 7:50Speaker 2: down the expensive, painful route of laser hair removal, let
- 7:55Speaker 2: that thing grow and, I guess, Soon you'll just be
- 7:59Speaker 2: wearing it full. Now you can just wear the bush
- 8:03Speaker 2: out because you can say, I'm not naked. It's my
- 8:06Speaker 2: Skims underwear. It's not my real bush. And wear that
- 8:09Speaker 2: to the Oscars and the Emmys and everything else. It's $ 32.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And if you'd like to buy one, you can join
- 8:19Speaker 2: the wait list. It is sold out. The full micro
- 8:25Speaker 2: string thong is sold out. I don't know if this
- 8:29Speaker 2: is just everybody doing it for fun. I don't know
- 8:32Speaker 2: if this will be their slutty Halloween costumes. I don't
- 8:35Speaker 2: know if there's seriously people who are swiping and talking
- 8:37Speaker 2: to guys online who are like, I don't want to
- 8:41Speaker 2: meet you at Starbucks unless I know you're sporting a
- 8:44Speaker 2: full bush. It's my new thing. And then they're like, shoot,
- 8:48Speaker 2: I got that lasered out in 2009. Oh, thank God.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Let me just see if I can get one. What?
- 8:54Speaker 2: Skims can give me one with an N. the curtain
- 8:59Speaker 2: can match the roots. That's an expression a lot of
- 9:01Speaker 2: people use where they'd say, when people did have hairy pubes,
- 9:05Speaker 2: they'd be like, you're a redhead, but does the curb, wait,
- 9:09Speaker 2: what is it? Oh, do the curtains match the carpet?
- 9:13Speaker 2: I think that's what it meant. Meaning, does your hair
- 9:16Speaker 2: on your head match it down there? Well, Now, if
- 9:20Speaker 2: you dye your hair blonde or another color, you can
- 9:22Speaker 2: go get the matching thing. Now, you would be able
- 9:26Speaker 2: to see the string. So I don't know if a
- 9:28Speaker 2: guy is going to be turning around and go, get
- 9:30Speaker 2: the hell out of here, you fake piece of shit.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And then you're like, I'm not a fake piece of shit.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I just have a faux hair micro string thong on
- 9:39Speaker 2: by Skims. Laugh all the way to your private Kim
- 9:46Speaker 2: Air jet, because who's ever buying this? You're an idiot.
- 9:50Speaker 2: You wear this with your nips on the outside of
- 9:55Speaker 2: your bra and you go get yourself a man. And
- 10:00Speaker 2: if you cannot, I don't want to hear you crying
- 10:03Speaker 2: about it. Okay. Also on the same day of releasing
- 10:09Speaker 2: the faux hair micro skims G-string, Heidi Klum, kind of
- 10:18Speaker 2: get into a desperate place, girl. Like, you know, she
- 10:21Speaker 2: wore a sheer thing to Paris week and it's like,
- 10:24Speaker 2: we get it. You're still hot. I saw her do
- 10:27Speaker 2: an interview saying, I just like to walk around naked.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It's just really fun. I just like to look, be
- 10:31Speaker 2: nude all the time. That's where I'm most comfortable. So
- 10:34Speaker 2: to keep with that theme, she's filming herself like laying
- 10:37Speaker 2: in her bed with her nails and you don't see
- 10:40Speaker 2: her nip, but you see her pulling like one lone
- 10:43Speaker 2: long nipple hair. And she's just talking to the audience, like,
- 10:47Speaker 2: what do you guys do when you get a long
- 10:49Speaker 2: nipple hair? And people are just being a concerned citizen, like,
- 10:53Speaker 2: I just tweeze it. Oh, no, girl, just trim it.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Just cut it. Just add it to the hairs in
- 10:59Speaker 2: the corner that you can then make your own faux
- 11:02Speaker 2: mini bush and compete with skims. Insane. Last night, Real
- 11:09Speaker 2: Housewives of Salt Lake City was on, and I have
- 11:11Speaker 2: to say, These girls are naturally funny. The editing is amazing.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And real fights and real arguments are truly happening. And
- 11:22Speaker 2: they truly have real friendships as well. So I am
- 11:26Speaker 2: thoroughly entertained. They had a party at a estate because
- 11:32Speaker 2: Whitney said, ever since I just tried to be this
- 11:36Speaker 2: Whitney Rose beauty, Justin, my husband, didn't care about my
- 11:40Speaker 2: beauty company. And I I stopped getting tattoos. I stopped
- 11:45Speaker 2: twirling on a pole and rolling around in body paint
- 11:49Speaker 2: with him. And it was already too late because he
- 11:52Speaker 2: lost his job. And then he didn't want to help
- 11:54Speaker 2: me sell Whitney Rose Beauty. And it really hurt me.
- 11:57Speaker 2: So now I'm going back to Whitney Rose Wildness. And
- 12:02Speaker 2: we're going to have some fun at an estate winery.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And then Mary, the former church leader, comes, or maybe
- 12:10Speaker 2: still is one, She comes and she truly is a
- 12:13Speaker 2: very funny person. And she's just like, I don't know
- 12:16Speaker 2: why Whitney, little girl Whitney, would have her party here.
- 12:20Speaker 2: The owner killed his wife and himself in front of
- 12:23Speaker 2: his dog. And the dog, they said, was never the same.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And I'm like, my God, what if this was your estate?
- 12:31Speaker 2: You're all excited that Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
- 12:34Speaker 2: is going to film. And you're like, this is such
- 12:36Speaker 2: great publicity for our wine, for people that want to
- 12:38Speaker 2: have parties here. And now she just unloaded the deep, dark,
- 12:43Speaker 2: like ghost-like secret that's happening at Waterloo. But maybe it'll
- 12:47Speaker 2: also help. Maybe they'll even get more people to want
- 12:48Speaker 2: to come like during Halloween times. I don't know, but hilarious.
- 12:52Speaker 2: So they go and they're having their wine. And since
- 12:55Speaker 2: it's a flower theme party, some of them came into
- 12:59Speaker 2: some real flowers, a huge flowery coat, Bronwyn, who does,
- 13:04Speaker 2: you know, these crazy outfits arrives. And then Meredith Marks
- 13:07Speaker 2: comes in this thing that is very strange. It's a
- 13:10Speaker 2: jean jacket, matching skirt and matching over the knee boot,
- 13:16Speaker 2: all with like gray flowers coming out of it. And
- 13:20Speaker 2: Mary goes, looks like a walking virus. And Meredith is like, Oh, really?
- 13:26Speaker 2: This is my outfit. It's a wonderful idea for a
- 13:30Speaker 2: flowery garden party. Hello. And so they, right off the bat,
- 13:36Speaker 2: Lisa Barlow, she comes in ready to have a fight.
- 13:41Speaker 2: with Angie and she's like you want me to go
- 13:44Speaker 2: low I'll go lower okay and then Angie's like why
- 13:48Speaker 2: would you write me this text what is this about
- 13:50Speaker 2: she's like because you went on a trip to Greece
- 13:53Speaker 2: you couldn't afford it you had to borrow a friend's
- 13:55Speaker 2: credit card and then you had to write him a
- 13:57Speaker 2: check after I'm just saying that's what that's what I
- 14:00Speaker 2: know okay I'm not I didn't have to dig it
- 14:02Speaker 2: up And she then opens her wallet, Angie, and she's
- 14:07Speaker 2: like chucking out black cards and credit cards, a Discover
- 14:11Speaker 2: card from 1992 fell out. Everything is just, I've got
- 14:14Speaker 2: credit cards. I've got cards. And they are just going
- 14:18Speaker 2: back and forth and fighting. Meanwhile, Whitney had this intuitive
- 14:22Speaker 2: psychic come that did tarot cards and he seemed like
- 14:26Speaker 2: a real delight. And it's my opinion that he's gay.
- 14:29Speaker 5: There was a.
- 14:31Speaker 2: He appeared to be a man that was gay.
- 14:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I just say what's great about this, but I am curious,
- 14:37Speaker 2: is the only psychics I've ever seen featured on TV
- 14:42Speaker 2: or in real life have either been women or gay men.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I have never seen a straight male psychic on any
- 14:51Speaker 2: kind of show. Now, is it just they don't get
- 14:53Speaker 2: hired on TV or do they actually, are straight men
- 14:57Speaker 2: not blessed with any psychic ability? This is a real
- 15:01Speaker 2: question I have, and I want to hear from you. Anyway,
- 15:04Speaker 2: he seemed to definitely get some intuitiveness. Lisa Barlow, he
- 15:09Speaker 2: clicked into the fact that she's having marital problems, which
- 15:12Speaker 2: she hasn't shared with the girls on the show. And
- 15:15Speaker 2: she was like, yes, sometimes we just have a communication problem.
- 15:18Speaker 2: And so she was very touched by what he had
- 15:20Speaker 2: to say. And then same with Whitney Rose and her husband.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Then what was interesting is he had the new girl, Brittany, on.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And he said, one of your daughters, you know, is,
- 15:33Speaker 2: is having trouble with your relationship. And she was like,
- 15:37Speaker 2: how would he know that? I'm shaking. How would he
- 15:40Speaker 2: know that? And then the brilliant editors show seven scenes
- 15:44Speaker 2: from the previous season, which have already aired in which
- 15:46Speaker 2: he talks about how she and her daughters, especially her
- 15:50Speaker 2: younger daughter, he is not on the same page and
- 15:53Speaker 2: they aren't communicating. So that was kind of fun. Anyway, um,
- 15:58Speaker 2: Bronwyn is crying with this psychic about her mother and
- 16:02Speaker 2: that her mother might get sick and she needs to
- 16:04Speaker 2: repair this relationship. And there's just so many like honestly
- 16:07Speaker 2: really crazy things in it. But the whole thing took
- 16:10Speaker 2: place at this winery screaming. And then at like one
- 16:12Speaker 2: point someone would be screaming and then the woman running
- 16:14Speaker 2: the winery would be like, I just opened up some
- 16:17Speaker 2: more rosé. And she'd walk off. And then each person
- 16:21Speaker 2: that was leaving in a huff had to pass the
- 16:24Speaker 2: psychic reading of their co-star as the co-star is crying
- 16:28Speaker 2: they're just like I've had it they walk out and
- 16:29Speaker 2: I mean if I mean if this was scripted you'd
- 16:33Speaker 2: say this is too much but I this was not
- 16:36Speaker 2: scripted this was so funny and so real so I
- 16:39Speaker 2: give it to them okay Kim Zolciak of Real Housewives
- 16:43Speaker 2: of Atlanta you know she's going through a divorce with
- 16:45Speaker 2: Croy Croy recently posted um a post about domestic abuse,
- 16:52Speaker 2: that he was a victim of that, and all he's
- 16:55Speaker 2: trying to do to get out of his world. When
- 16:59Speaker 2: we met him, he had blonde hair. Now he has red,
- 17:03Speaker 2: with a red beard, which is interesting. Anyway, I would
- 17:06Speaker 2: love to talk to Corey. Now, when we first met
- 17:10Speaker 2: Kim Zolciak, she was a single mother of two, and
- 17:15Speaker 2: she was open about how she had this boyfriend- that
- 17:19Speaker 2: she referred to as, thank you, Big Papa. She'd call
- 17:22Speaker 2: him Big Papa and he'd buy her Range Rovers and
- 17:24Speaker 2: a drop of a hat. He took care of her lifestyle.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And people found out back then that he was in
- 17:30Speaker 2: fact married and they had whatever, an open kind of relationship.
- 17:34Speaker 2: He never appeared on the show. She never said his name. Well,
- 17:37Speaker 2: now Kim Zolciak is being subpoenaed in a $ 100 million
- 17:42Speaker 2: divorce by man's estranged wife, demanding answers over gifts. This
- 17:48Speaker 2: appears not to be Big Papa. This couple who's going
- 17:52Speaker 2: through a divorce, the wife is saying the husband is
- 17:56Speaker 2: worth $ 100 million, which now is nowhere to be found.
- 17:59Speaker 2: So they're in a contentious financial divorce, this couple. They
- 18:03Speaker 2: got married in 2017, which is why we know it
- 18:06Speaker 2: is not Big Papa. But she believes that Kim Zolciak
- 18:11Speaker 2: received gifts from from her husband. And when you're going
- 18:14Speaker 2: through a forensic accounting divorce, you want to show all
- 18:19Speaker 2: of that. It's not just about the cheating. It's like,
- 18:21Speaker 2: where is the money? And according to Kim's people, allegedly
- 18:26Speaker 2: she was subpoenaed. She has not made her appearance at,
- 18:30Speaker 2: you know, being subpoenaed and being questioned, but she finds
- 18:32Speaker 2: it humiliating and unnecessary. And why are they dragging her
- 18:36Speaker 2: into it? But come on, that's juicy. And you know,
- 18:40Speaker 2: if she was having a relationship with with this guy
- 18:43Speaker 2: who was going through his divorce and he was giving
- 18:45Speaker 2: her gifts in the last couple of years. That wouldn't
- 18:48Speaker 2: be the worst thing in the world. She and Corey
- 18:51Speaker 2: have been separated and fighting and living in the house
- 18:54Speaker 2: in two different areas of the house for a couple
- 18:56Speaker 2: of years. So who knows if it crosses over or not,
- 19:00Speaker 2: but that was stuff that we would hear in the
- 19:03Speaker 2: fights when the cops would come and their body cam
- 19:06Speaker 2: would catch them arguing about whether, you know, she doesn't
- 19:10Speaker 2: want him in her closet or he's like, she's doing
- 19:13Speaker 2: this and that. So that is why it's really juicy.
- 19:16Speaker 2: If you've caught, you know, covered the case. If in
- 19:19Speaker 2: fact she found another big Papa to help, um, to
- 19:23Speaker 2: be a generous boyfriend to her. And if he was
- 19:26Speaker 2: so generous, then why did she also have to take, um,
- 19:29Speaker 2: Ariana's money? Is it that, Was that her name? Her
- 19:32Speaker 2: daughters are Brielle and Ariana. Yeah, Ariana's the younger one
- 19:35Speaker 2: who was on Gen Z New York, or Next Gen
- 19:39Speaker 2: New York, in which she revealed that all the money
- 19:42Speaker 2: that she made as a kid, as a teenage influencer,
- 19:46Speaker 2: her mom took because she needed it. And she... also
- 19:50Speaker 2: recently revealed that unbeknownst to her, her mom was very
- 19:54Speaker 2: into plastic surgery and lasers and all these things. And
- 19:57Speaker 2: she was unaware that her mom was taking her to
- 19:59Speaker 2: get facial treatments, which in fact took off her freckles.
- 20:04Speaker 2: For my old girls, remember when Jan Brady did not
- 20:07Speaker 2: want freckles and she was rubbing lemon on her face? Anyway.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I assume they got some laser and it burned off.
- 20:14Speaker 2: And now she wishes she had freckles because now people
- 20:17Speaker 2: actually paint the freckles on their face. But freckles or not,
- 20:21Speaker 2: I think they're doing fine as a mother and daughter.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I kind of want to know more about this relationship.
- 20:25Speaker 2: And I don't blame the ex-wife for doing everything she
- 20:28Speaker 2: can to figure out where this money is.
- 20:31Speaker 6: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My daughter
- 20:34Speaker 6: is so organised, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 20:39Speaker 6: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 20:41Speaker 6: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 20:44Speaker 6: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 20:46Speaker 6: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 20:49Speaker 6: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 20:53Speaker 6: click and collect.
- 20:54Speaker 2: So easy.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 21:01Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 21:04Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 21:07Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 21:11Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:20Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 21:21Speaker 4: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:23Speaker 4: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:25Speaker 3: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 21:28Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:31Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:32Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 21:33Speaker 3: What happens next?
- 21:34Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:40Speaker 3: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:43Speaker 3: happens next.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 21:47Speaker 4: You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm not going to
- 21:49Speaker 4: pull punches.
- 21:50Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:52Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:07Speaker 2: Bradley Cooper, as you know, is doing coffee commercials and
- 22:13Speaker 2: he's dating Bella Hadid, which was kind of a very
- 22:17Speaker 2: odd pairing for their age and everything. But the oddest
- 22:20Speaker 2: thing is that he got some strange plastic surgery. I
- 22:24Speaker 2: think it's a combination of plastic surgery, weight loss, just
- 22:30Speaker 2: old fashioned aging, but the kind of plastic surgery that
- 22:33Speaker 2: like changes the shape of your eyes and stuff where
- 22:35Speaker 2: it's like, what? And people are saying he is looking
- 22:40Speaker 2: like Barry Manilow. And he really is. It's everyone's like,
- 22:44Speaker 2: what the hell happened to Bradley Cooper? I mean, I
- 22:47Speaker 2: do feel like I'm looking at a completely different person.
- 22:50Speaker 2: He is transitioning. I mean, I don't know what is
- 22:54Speaker 2: transitioning into Barry Manilow like 25 years ago. And it's just,
- 22:59Speaker 2: weird and there's some really great plastic surgery out there
- 23:02Speaker 2: you know Chris Jenner and people being one of them
- 23:05Speaker 2: and then there's those like him and Simon Cowell that
- 23:08Speaker 2: like you're like wow that face looks real different like
- 23:12Speaker 2: it's strange but he it's he's still cute enough to
- 23:16Speaker 2: be a celebrity doing mainstream commercials so I don't know
- 23:21Speaker 2: what's going on with the acting career but the face
- 23:23Speaker 2: might be holding him back you know okay Real Housewives
- 23:29Speaker 2: of Potomac little, what she talked about, Wendy. So I
- 23:33Speaker 2: watched the episodes last night and it is pretty disturbing
- 23:38Speaker 2: now that she's been arrested. And what I did not realize,
- 23:41Speaker 2: this is Wendy who got caught for lying about being robbed.
- 23:44Speaker 2: There's some new developments in it. One of the things
- 23:47Speaker 2: that she said to the interviewer, Gibson, was, yes, and
- 23:52Speaker 2: I live in a beautiful area and there has not
- 23:54Speaker 2: been a robbery here in 20 years or something. And
- 23:57Speaker 2: this never happened. So I definitely think it was targeted
- 24:00Speaker 2: because I'm Dr. Wendy, famous, Real Housewives of Potomac, rich
- 24:05Speaker 2: woman who dresses so fabulously. And I also saw this
- 24:09Speaker 2: person do a whole rant saying, Wendy, when people were
- 24:13Speaker 2: hiring you to be a consultant on like CNN or whatever,
- 24:17Speaker 2: it wasn't Wendy with the fine looking clothes. It wasn't like,
- 24:20Speaker 2: what's Wendy going to be wearing today? They really appreciated
- 24:23Speaker 2: her mind and her education, which she always bragged about.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And now I guess she can hang her, her four degrees.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I have my degree behind me from USC, but if
- 24:31Speaker 2: I had four of them and I was Wendy, I
- 24:33Speaker 2: guess you could ask to hang that in your jail cell.
- 24:36Speaker 2: But anyway, she, um, so the, these episodes that were filmed, um,
- 24:42Speaker 2: She's talking about how they're going to redo their living
- 24:44Speaker 2: room and get a marble fireplace all the way up
- 24:46Speaker 2: to the second story. And she's like, Eddie's doing so well.
- 24:51Speaker 2: He's opening his marijuana business to two more states, and
- 24:55Speaker 2: he's just rolling in it. And this aired, and then
- 25:01Speaker 2: she was arrested. So this aired like two weeks ago,
- 25:04Speaker 2: and then she was arrested last week. And what I
- 25:07Speaker 2: didn't realize is that she was wearing the wedding band on.
- 25:11Speaker 2: that she said was stolen in an episode of the
- 25:15Speaker 2: show of the show that aired. And when they did
- 25:17Speaker 2: the timeline, that day of filming was post quote unquote,
- 25:21Speaker 2: the robbery. Also, um, I guess, you know, she made
- 25:27Speaker 2: sure that everyone in the neighborhood, she was doing her,
- 25:31Speaker 2: you know, neighborly good thing saying, be careful. We were
- 25:34Speaker 2: just robbed. And, um, you know, and letting them know
- 25:38Speaker 2: that they, that keeping with the story that we were
- 25:40Speaker 2: robbed and I hope this doesn't happen to anybody else
- 25:42Speaker 2: and just be aware and, you know, trying to be
- 25:44Speaker 2: a good neighbor. And there, so it is funny to
- 25:50Speaker 2: kind of watch that, but she resigns from university job
- 25:56Speaker 2: after the fraud charges. However, that university job has come
- 26:00Speaker 2: forward and said, no, we, she was no longer working
- 26:04Speaker 2: for us. One of them, like I, she was like, um,
- 26:07Speaker 2: she wasn't at John Hopkins. She was at a different school. Anyway, they're,
- 26:10Speaker 2: they're basically saying, no, we could let her go before
- 26:13Speaker 2: she's saying I, whatever. She's not working. She's not teaching
- 26:16Speaker 2: your kids while she awaits these charges. Little Meghan Markle news.
- 26:21Speaker 2: She had a lot of fun in Paris week, uh,
- 26:25Speaker 2: fashion week. there was some controversy. Um, you know, she's
- 26:30Speaker 2: very much doing like the new makeup and she's stunning
- 26:32Speaker 2: and the solemn like face. So she's walking out and,
- 26:36Speaker 2: and why not? You know, you're like in the fashion
- 26:38Speaker 2: week and looking beautiful. She did post one video of
- 26:43Speaker 2: her in the back of a, a big car. Maybe
- 26:46Speaker 2: I don't even think they make new limos. So I
- 26:48Speaker 2: don't know if it was a limo, but like whatever
- 26:50Speaker 2: with her feet up and, and people caught that it
- 26:54Speaker 2: was truly close to the horrible accident scene that Princess
- 27:00Speaker 2: Diane died in. So that wasn't good. Maybe it was conscious.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Maybe it wasn't. They're saying that Meghan Markle, according to
- 27:08Speaker 2: New York Post, had invited herself to Paris Fashion Week.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Balenciaga designer says, well, I think a lot of people
- 27:17Speaker 2: reach out. I think a lot of celebrities have their
- 27:19Speaker 2: reps reach out and, you know, say, oh, you probably don't,
- 27:23Speaker 2: you're probably not aware, but Meghan's going to be there.
- 27:25Speaker 2: She's going to be going to lots of shows. And
- 27:27Speaker 2: she's free at two o'clock on Friday. If you have
- 27:29Speaker 2: a spot for her, she'd love to attend and we
- 27:31Speaker 2: can arrange that. That's not like the worst thing in
- 27:34Speaker 2: the world. Then she, let's see, then she went and
- 27:39Speaker 2: spoke at, appeared at a Fortune's Most Powerful Women's Summit
- 27:43Speaker 2: where she revealed her Netflix series with Love Megan will
- 27:47Speaker 2: be dropping a holiday special. So I cannot wait to
- 27:53Speaker 2: see what fun treats that she comes up with. that
- 27:56Speaker 2: are decorated with Christmas flowers or parts of your Christmas
- 28:00Speaker 2: tree that you can cut up and actually make edible
- 28:04Speaker 2: as you sprinkle it on a homemade Christmas tree or not.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It could be like a little trick. Like, oh, what
- 28:11Speaker 2: I like to do is I just take the sugar
- 28:14Speaker 2: cookies and then I roll them up and then I
- 28:17Speaker 2: flatten them out again just to add three more steps
- 28:20Speaker 2: and make little Christmas tree cookies. And my kids love this.
- 28:24Speaker 2: They feel that this is a beautiful... Fun thing to do.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And I'm so excited for my guest to come, Mrs. Claus.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And we're going to talk to her. And then Mrs.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Claus comes and she never asks her anything about her
- 28:39Speaker 2: marriage or about her life. And Megan just talks about herself.
- 28:43Speaker 2: And as she's in her, you know, house, fake house
- 28:48Speaker 2: down the road, acting like she, you know, had just
- 28:51Speaker 2: organized her fridge that day. I think good times are
- 28:53Speaker 2: about to come on that Christmas special. You better believe
- 28:55Speaker 2: I'll be watching it. Hilaria Baldwin did get the boot
- 29:01Speaker 2: from Dancing with the Stars, which is all based on
- 29:05Speaker 2: audience voting. And she is claiming that she was bullied.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I was bullied by a bunch of mean girls that,
- 29:11Speaker 2: you know, they have been after me since the very beginning.
- 29:14Speaker 2: They are obsessed with me. They're always talking online about
- 29:17Speaker 2: me and I don't know why. And the way it
- 29:19Speaker 2: works is people have to vote for you. And they,
- 29:23Speaker 2: they gathered around and they got so many people to
- 29:26Speaker 2: vote for the other people that then I didn't have
- 29:29Speaker 2: enough votes for me. That's bullying. That is bullying. And
- 29:34Speaker 2: that is not okay. And my little baldwinos are shaking
- 29:38Speaker 2: and they don't know why their mother is no longer
- 29:40Speaker 2: shaking on TV, but in fact, in front of them.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Also shaking is Alec Baldwin, who appears to just got
- 29:49Speaker 2: into a bad accident. It did seem to be a
- 29:51Speaker 2: rainy day. He was with his brother, um, And Stephen
- 29:57Speaker 2: Baldwin and who was wearing a very unfortunate outfit and
- 30:01Speaker 2: they crashed, he crashed his like Range Rover into a
- 30:04Speaker 2: tree in the Hamptons. And, but I don't think there's
- 30:08Speaker 2: anything like it. There's no, nothing Karen Huger ish about it.
- 30:11Speaker 2: But anyway, it was a big week for her. Okay. Um,
- 30:17Speaker 2: I thought this was really interesting. This is Will Smith
- 30:21Speaker 2: was doing an interview. I don't know when it was,
- 30:23Speaker 2: but it popped up and I listened to it and
- 30:24Speaker 2: I thought it was fascinating. And he was talking about
- 30:27Speaker 2: how when Willow, his daughter, she was only like nine
- 30:30Speaker 2: or 10, came up with that song, I whip your
- 30:33Speaker 2: hair all around. I whip your hair all around. And
- 30:35Speaker 2: she had these long, um, long braids and she would
- 30:39Speaker 2: sing the song and whip her hair all around. And
- 30:43Speaker 2: she did a great show and everybody loved it. And
- 30:46Speaker 2: he was like, you were great baby. And Willow goes,
- 30:48Speaker 2: but I'm done now.
- 30:49Speaker 4: He goes, what do you mean?
- 30:51Speaker 2: She's like, no, I'm done. I don't want to do
- 30:52Speaker 2: the shows anymore. I don't want to perform anymore. I
- 30:54Speaker 2: don't want to whip my hair around anymore. And he's like,
- 30:57Speaker 2: but Willow, you promised Mr. Jay-Z that you would go
- 31:01Speaker 2: on a 40-city tour with him. And we need to commit.
- 31:05Speaker 2: We need to keep to our commitments. And she said,
- 31:08Speaker 2: I didn't commit to that, Dad. You did. And he's like, no, no, no.
- 31:11Speaker 2: I cannot call Mr. Jay-Z and tell him that you're
- 31:16Speaker 2: not going to whip your hair around. Once you do
- 31:18Speaker 2: these 40 cities at nine years old, then you can stop.
- 31:24Speaker 2: And he said, and she kind of got sad and
- 31:27Speaker 2: she went to bed. And the next morning she came
- 31:30Speaker 2: out and she had shaved her head. And I thought,
- 31:34Speaker 2: this is so brilliant. This is such an interesting story.
- 31:39Speaker 2: And he got it. And I thought, what a brilliant
- 31:42Speaker 2: girl to have done that. And that's when she, you know,
- 31:46Speaker 2: shaved her head. She was like, I did the song
- 31:48Speaker 2: and it was fun. And I don't, I'm a kid.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I don't want to do a 40 city tour again. Because,
- 31:55Speaker 2: and that I just, when people ask me, what do
- 31:56Speaker 2: you think about kids that are on reality shows or
- 31:59Speaker 2: TV stars that are children or, and I say it's
- 32:02Speaker 2: too much pressure on a kid that maybe didn't ask
- 32:05Speaker 2: for it or might change their mind that they're not
- 32:07Speaker 2: into it anymore. You're not a 35 year old that
- 32:11Speaker 2: committed to going on a 40 tour, city tour. And
- 32:14Speaker 2: even 35 year olds that commit on going on a
- 32:17Speaker 2: tour cancel and flake out when they're over it and
- 32:19Speaker 2: they don't care. And they don't care about their fans. So,
- 32:23Speaker 2: Very interesting there. A couple updates on Real Housewives of Miami.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I did not realize that when Adriana went over and said,
- 32:35Speaker 2: you stole my heart. And so here it is. And
- 32:40Speaker 2: she gave her this box with a heart in it.
- 32:43Speaker 2: And I thought it was just like a weird, like, whatever, DIY, DYI, whatever,
- 32:49Speaker 2: do your, what is it? The DIY, what is it
- 32:53Speaker 2: when you make your own crafts? Anyway, I didn't know.
- 32:56Speaker 2: It was because earlier she said, Andy, Andy, when I
- 33:00Speaker 2: first met Julia, she said, you're so beautiful. You look
- 33:04Speaker 2: like Snow White. She was so into me. She said
- 33:07Speaker 2: I was the most beautiful girl that she had ever seen.
- 33:10Speaker 2: She said, I love your boobs. She went into the
- 33:12Speaker 2: bathroom with me and I let her feel my boobs.
- 33:14Speaker 2: So right from the start, she was hitting on me.
- 33:18Speaker 2: And so when she gives her that heart in the box,
- 33:21Speaker 2: it had to do with the fact that when they
- 33:23Speaker 2: first met, Julia called her Snow White. And now as
- 33:27Speaker 2: Snow White, she's giving her her heart to the mean queen.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I mean, thank you for the person that figured that out.
- 33:34Speaker 2: This is like too much analyzing in a Real Housewives show,
- 33:37Speaker 2: I swear. Speaking of gay relationships, Charlie Sheen has done
- 33:42Speaker 2: yet another interview. You know, he has his Netflix doc.
- 33:45Speaker 2: He has his book out. in which he says after
- 33:49Speaker 2: years of sleeping with tons of women and porn stars
- 33:53Speaker 2: and everything else, he also, in the height of his
- 33:57Speaker 2: crack addiction, got really into sleeping with men. And he
- 34:00Speaker 2: was always scared that someone would ring the doorbell or
- 34:05Speaker 2: come out in the news like, hi, I'm the guy
- 34:07Speaker 2: that you slept with. I'm going to ruin your life
- 34:08Speaker 2: or whatever. And that's why he's so happy that he
- 34:11Speaker 2: just went free and talked about it. And he said,
- 34:14Speaker 2: I'm with great company, Marlon Brando. I allegedly slept with
- 34:18Speaker 2: men as well, as well as the great comedian, Richard Pryor.
- 34:23Speaker 2: And so he's like, yeah, so it's not a big deal.
- 34:28Speaker 2: And that's basically what Julia said. Julia was like, I
- 34:31Speaker 2: didn't want Adriana hanging over my head that I was
- 34:35Speaker 2: a cheater and that I slept with her or whatever.
- 34:39Speaker 2: And so now, yeah, everybody can be a little bi,
- 34:43Speaker 2: a little gay, and it is not a juicy scoop.
- 34:46Speaker 2: So move on, people. Okay, but now this was juicy,
- 34:52Speaker 2: so we're talking about Miami. Gertie, who also no longer
- 34:55Speaker 2: gets along with Julia. To remind you, Julia called her
- 34:59Speaker 2: to panic and said, will you go on this two
- 35:01Speaker 2: or three day, um, yacht trip with me for influencers?
- 35:05Speaker 2: I was supposed to take Martina, but she had a
- 35:08Speaker 2: health scare and she cannot go. Gertie went. And then
- 35:12Speaker 2: there was a big fun night with captain Sandy, who
- 35:15Speaker 2: is a lesbian who's married to have a fun dinner.
- 35:18Speaker 2: And Julia blew her off and said, get your own
- 35:20Speaker 2: dinner by yourself in a restaurant down, down at the
- 35:23Speaker 2: end of the ship. And so that really pissed her off.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And then, um, And then she said that she was,
- 35:31Speaker 2: you know, she had a different story, Julia, of how
- 35:34Speaker 2: she was so awful or something. I don't even know.
- 35:36Speaker 2: So that was the story. So Gertie had shared her
- 35:41Speaker 2: text messages about it, and she felt they were edited
- 35:44Speaker 2: to make it look like there was something more nefarious.
- 35:46Speaker 2: She was just trying to show that she was actually
- 35:49Speaker 2: invited by Julia. Now people wonder, if Martina really had
- 35:52Speaker 2: a health scare, why was Julia going at all? Why
- 35:55Speaker 2: wouldn't Julia blow it off? And also... Maybe that's why
- 35:59Speaker 2: she didn't want Gertie around is because she is such
- 36:02Speaker 2: a cheater and such a nymph, as they said. And
- 36:04Speaker 2: there were many like sexy, high-powered lesbians on this trip
- 36:10Speaker 2: that she wanted to go to that dinner by herself.
- 36:12Speaker 2: She didn't want Gertie to take any light from her
- 36:14Speaker 2: and she wanted to do her own freaky thing. Maybe
- 36:17Speaker 2: that's the case. That's just a theory. But Gertie said
- 36:22Speaker 2: in going back and forth under comments that, This woman
- 36:25Speaker 2: wrote to Gertie. Her name's Connie Going. Gertie, you, Gertie Design,
- 36:32Speaker 2: you are the eternal victim. Move on. This show defines
- 36:35Speaker 2: no one. And then Gertie writes back to her saying, hi, Connie,
- 36:39Speaker 2: recognize you from our show. You are Julia's social worker,
- 36:42Speaker 2: but did she pay you a bonus to also be
- 36:44Speaker 2: her social media spokesperson? Stay out of this and stick
- 36:47Speaker 2: to foster caring. I will publicly expose all the nasty
- 36:51Speaker 2: comments you have wrote about me and sent me. And
- 36:53Speaker 2: if you And if you've seen the show, you know,
- 36:56Speaker 2: I will come it up, Connie. I mean, and that's
- 37:01Speaker 2: pretty juicy because that's a social worker. And then there
- 37:05Speaker 2: were other comments about, you know, this is a woman
- 37:07Speaker 2: who helped her get these foster kids. Very, very interesting.
- 37:12Speaker 2: So there you go with that. Ramona is in a movie. Yes.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Ramona Singer is in a movie. I follow her. It's
- 37:20Speaker 2: it's called let me see. What's the name of the movie?
- 37:23Speaker 2: Friendly distraction. Ramona Singer has second billing, you guys. And
- 37:28Speaker 2: I just cannot wait to see this movie. It's on Tubi.
- 37:32Speaker 2: And I can imagine she's going to be like, you
- 37:33Speaker 2: know what? You know what really is a distraction? You
- 37:35Speaker 2: know what? It's a bunch of hot guys, okay? I
- 37:37Speaker 2: really like these hot guys. It's a place. We're in
- 37:40Speaker 2: New York.
- 37:40Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 37:41Speaker 2: I don't know what it's about. I don't know if
- 37:42Speaker 2: it's a murder mystery. I don't know if it's about
- 37:44Speaker 2: anti-aging cream. I don't know if it's about, you know what?
- 37:46Speaker 2: It's about supporting women, okay? It's about supporting women and
- 37:49Speaker 2: not being distracted by friendly people when you're doing it.
- 37:52Speaker 2: So very excited for her. Little update on the David
- 37:57Speaker 2: murder trial that we talked about. Now, the guy who
- 38:01Speaker 2: owns the house that David was renting at the time
- 38:04Speaker 2: that he was seen with Celeste and she was missing
- 38:08Speaker 2: and people witnessed them together, he has hired his own
- 38:12Speaker 2: private investigator, which goes along with what I said on
- 38:15Speaker 2: Juicy Crimes. please subscribe. It's in the below. You can
- 38:20Speaker 2: get that link, subscribe, listen to it. It's with Matt Murphy.
- 38:22Speaker 2: It came out yesterday that, um, he's doing his own investigation.
- 38:28Speaker 2: So maybe his own investigator will find the evidence that
- 38:32Speaker 2: Matt Murphy said is so important. Like any DNA of
- 38:35Speaker 2: hers or on a pillow or where it shows that
- 38:38Speaker 2: she'd like spent the night or anything like that. Just
- 38:41Speaker 2: skip update. Donna Adelson says, has been sentenced to life
- 38:45Speaker 2: in prison. This is the mother-in-law. This is the famous
- 38:50Speaker 2: case out of Miami and Tampa where this girl and
- 38:54Speaker 2: her husband were having a horrible contentious custody battle. She
- 38:59Speaker 2: wanted to take their two young sons and move to Miami.
- 39:02Speaker 2: He was teaching law in Tampa and didn't want that
- 39:04Speaker 2: to happen. They were fighting and he came home from
- 39:07Speaker 2: the gym and someone shot him in his car as
- 39:10Speaker 2: he pulled into the driveway. They eventually... drew connections between
- 39:15Speaker 2: the soon-to-be ex-wife. Her brother, who was a dentist, had
- 39:22Speaker 2: hired someone that worked in his office who also had
- 39:27Speaker 2: an ex who was someone who could execute someone for money,
- 39:32Speaker 2: he got convicted, the girl's brother did, along with now
- 39:38Speaker 2: the mother. They had all this evidence where the mother
- 39:41Speaker 2: and the brother were talking, they'd been following him for
- 39:43Speaker 2: a long time, in which they planned this hit on
- 39:46Speaker 2: the son-in-law. When she got sentenced, the elderly mother Stills
- 39:50Speaker 2: claiming her innocence, speaking very highly of her brother-in-law, saying
- 39:54Speaker 2: that he was hunted down and that she is totally innocent.
- 39:58Speaker 2: And now people wonder, are they going to go after
- 40:01Speaker 2: the daughter who was the soon-to-be ex-wife of the man
- 40:04Speaker 2: who was executed during this contentious custody battle? Very juicy.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Some Golden Bachelor news. I hope you guys are watching it.
- 40:13Speaker 2: I have a special treat coming up in a minute.
- 40:15Speaker 2: From the franchise. But the original Golden Bachelor, Jerry Turner,
- 40:20Speaker 2: has a book coming out. And he is the one
- 40:23Speaker 2: who got married to this woman, Teresa. They got divorced
- 40:26Speaker 2: after three months. He's already engaged to a woman. I
- 40:30Speaker 2: tried to find her age. I believe she's in her mid-50s.
- 40:32Speaker 2: He's like 75 or something. I believe he also got
- 40:36Speaker 2: a nice little facelift. Anyway, he seems happy. They're getting married.
- 40:39Speaker 2: But he's also written a book. And he said, I
- 40:42Speaker 2: am not worried, but Teresa should be. Like, what? What
- 40:48Speaker 2: are you saying about this girl that you met on
- 40:51Speaker 2: a contestant dating show and was only married to for
- 40:54Speaker 2: three months? So he said he is spilling the beans
- 40:57Speaker 2: about Teresa. And.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Also, The Bachelor is getting a mansion makeover. They are
- 41:06Speaker 2: saying that HGTV will take 12 Bachelor Nation alums with
- 41:10Speaker 2: expert renovation skills and will return to the iconic mansion
- 41:14Speaker 2: and give it an update, which I believe it needs
- 41:17Speaker 2: because I'm watching it right now. And it is beautiful,
- 41:19Speaker 2: but it is looking a little dated. And so I
- 41:22Speaker 2: think that's a great idea for a show. And I
- 41:26Speaker 2: also found out that the newest Bachelor, Mel Owens, golden bachelor.
- 41:32Speaker 2: He talks about his ex-wife who, you know, wanted the divorce.
- 41:38Speaker 2: The last episode, he said, you know, about five years ago,
- 41:41Speaker 2: she went forward with the divorce and he heard that
- 41:42Speaker 2: she's getting married. Well, I was sent evidence that she
- 41:47Speaker 2: is in fact happily married to a woman, which I
- 41:51Speaker 2: think even makes his case. Maybe that'll come out later,
- 41:54Speaker 2: but I think that comes out Even better for Mel
- 41:58Speaker 2: because it's like, it's not like he was, you could
- 42:01Speaker 2: assume if you're dating him, well, it's not like you
- 42:03Speaker 2: were such a horrible husband that she had to leave.
- 42:06Speaker 2: It's like you're a man and she is in love
- 42:08Speaker 2: with a woman and you can't compete with that. So
- 42:11Speaker 2: I even think that made him even a better candidate
- 42:14Speaker 2: as the next Golden Bachelor. So it's a very fun
- 42:16Speaker 2: show and I'm excited to have my good friend, Maya
- 42:20Speaker 2: Dreyer on it. She's going to walk us through what
- 42:22Speaker 2: it was like to be chosen, what happened while she
- 42:25Speaker 2: was on it. this current season. And here we go
- 42:29Speaker 2: with Maya. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I
- 42:33Speaker 2: have one of my friends that I've had for a
- 42:37Speaker 2: very long time. We met right at the tail end
- 42:40Speaker 2: of college. Maya Dreyer. I have told you guys that
- 42:45Speaker 2: I had a friend on The Golden Bachelor. She's sitting
- 42:49Speaker 2: here because she is not marrying Mel Owens. Welcome, Maya.
- 42:57Speaker 4: Thanks for having me, Hedy.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I have to tell you, so I'm really enjoying the show.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I wish you had lasted longer, but when there's not
- 43:06Speaker 2: a love connection, there's not a love connection. But first,
- 43:09Speaker 2: I just want to say that I watched it again
- 43:13Speaker 2: last night, your part, because you were just in the
- 43:16Speaker 2: first episode. And knowing that you were married for a
- 43:21Speaker 2: very long time, you're divorced. you have three grown successful
- 43:27Speaker 2: children and I hadn't seen you be flirty in like ever. Like,
- 43:35Speaker 2: cause I, we both, we've both been married so long.
- 43:38Speaker 2: You are now a single girl. So to watch you
- 43:41Speaker 2: come out of the limo and go, hi, I'm Maya.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Oh, well that was, um, it was, It took me
- 43:52Speaker 4: a minute to get comfortable getting out of the limo
- 43:54Speaker 4: and seeing the bachelor mansion and the bachelor and the
- 43:58Speaker 4: fountain and just what you see on TV. I was
- 44:03Speaker 4: a little, I think, not myself at that moment.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Because now I wonder when you do date, is that
- 44:09Speaker 2: how you do it?
- 44:09Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. When they come to the door, I'm in
- 44:11Speaker 4: my sequined plunging dress and I say, hello.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Hello. No, not at all.
- 44:17Speaker 4: That was a very unnatural situation.
- 44:21Speaker 2: And so you were like, I'm Maya from Malibu, just
- 44:25Speaker 2: down the road from you.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Is that what I said?
- 44:27Speaker 2: Just up the road from you or something. And so
- 44:29Speaker 2: I think this was meant to be. And I was like, geez. Yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 2: go me. So let's go back to, I mean, I
- 44:39Speaker 2: remember where I was when you called me and you said, like,
- 44:42Speaker 2: you know, this is happening. It happened. And- What made
- 44:47Speaker 2: you decide to do it? Like, how did it come about?
- 44:51Speaker 4: It came about in a very, I mean, it was fate.
- 44:53Speaker 4: I believed I was in my room, uh, a few
- 44:58Speaker 4: weeks before I arrived to shoot for the show. It
- 45:01Speaker 4: was maybe two and a half weeks and I got
- 45:05Speaker 4: a text and it was a casting person. And they said,
- 45:08Speaker 4: we got your information. Are you still single? And I
- 45:11Speaker 4: immediately thought it was a prank because they what do
- 45:14Speaker 4: you mean the golden bachelor casting is texting me on
- 45:17Speaker 4: 12 o'clock on a Wednesday? I said, prove you are
- 45:21Speaker 4: who you are because I don't, this is weird. And
- 45:26Speaker 4: I said, I'm very busy right now is remodeling my place.
- 45:29Speaker 4: I had contractors there. I had a cabinet man there.
- 45:31Speaker 4: I remember it like yesterday. And I said, I'm really
- 45:35Speaker 4: busy right now. I can't talk, but maybe later tonight.
- 45:39Speaker 4: And the guy said, it's our last day. All I'll
- 45:43Speaker 4: need is five minutes of your time. So I said, okay.
- 45:50Speaker 4: And he called me.
- 45:51Speaker 2: And so do you know how they found out about you?
- 45:55Speaker 2: Was it just Instagram?
- 45:57Speaker 4: I don't know how they found me, but then he
- 45:59Speaker 4: FaceTimed me. And when he FaceTimed me, we talked for
- 46:03Speaker 4: a bit and he said, I'd like you to meet producers.
- 46:05Speaker 4: The next day I had a Zoom, was sick. And
- 46:08Speaker 4: I had a great conversation. It was very effortless and easy.
- 46:12Speaker 4: They were all really, really nice. And each day it
- 46:16Speaker 4: was a new, I mean, they really vet you to
- 46:19Speaker 4: become a part of the show. You go through a
- 46:22Speaker 4: lot of background checks. They just don't let anybody on there.
- 46:26Speaker 2: So.
- 46:27Speaker 4: Each day I went through another kind of background screening
- 46:30Speaker 4: and passed and it was almost like going down a
- 46:33Speaker 4: slide really quickly.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:35Speaker 4: And all the doors just kept going. And then lo
- 46:40Speaker 4: and behold, I was coming back from Colorado and the
- 46:42Speaker 4: head of the casting called and said, we want you
- 46:44Speaker 4: on the show. So I really thought it was fate.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Like I didn't actively go after it. I wasn't hustling
- 46:53Speaker 4: to get it. It came to me. And so, um,
- 46:57Speaker 4: As you know, you know me, it's very out of
- 46:59Speaker 4: my wheelhouse to do something like this. But I thought,
- 47:05Speaker 4: what the heck, you know? Life is short. I want
- 47:08Speaker 4: to see what it's like. I want to start being
- 47:11Speaker 4: more adventurous and fearless. And I did it. And it
- 47:14Speaker 4: definitely was one of the bravest things I've ever done.
- 47:17Speaker 2: So you have boy-girl twins. And how old are they now?
- 47:22Speaker 4: They're 28.
- 47:22Speaker 6: 28.
- 47:22Speaker 5: And.
- 47:25Speaker 2: They, you know, you are a tall, gorgeous girl. You
- 47:29Speaker 2: created tall, gorgeous children who are also, um, athletes in
- 47:34Speaker 2: collegiate athletes. So your son played football at Stanford. His
- 47:38Speaker 2: twin also played volleyball, right? At UCLA and did another,
- 47:45Speaker 2: did it at Santa Clara too, right?
- 47:46Speaker 4: She got a free MBA playing at Santa Clara. And
- 47:50Speaker 4: then my baby played volleyball at Yale.
- 47:52Speaker 2: So, um, Which is then you made a career out
- 47:55Speaker 2: of that, too, in helping other kids maneuver how to
- 47:59Speaker 2: become an athlete in college and get accepted and write
- 48:03Speaker 2: essays and all that.
- 48:06Speaker 4: I don't help them write essays.
- 48:07Speaker 2: No, you don't help them write essays.
- 48:08Speaker 4: But I empower them to achieve their college goals. Very good. Yes.
- 48:12Speaker 2: This is not the college scandal. There's no Rick Singer.
- 48:15Speaker 4: There's no helping anything academic. That's all on them.
- 48:19Speaker 2: No, Laura Laughlin was not a client of yours.
- 48:22Speaker 4: No.
- 48:22Speaker 2: So, okay. Um, so what happened when you, who'd you
- 48:27Speaker 2: tell first? I'm guessing you told your daughters before your son.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Oh my gosh. I told my son the absolute last
- 48:33Speaker 4: person on earth. I told because I was the most
- 48:36Speaker 4: fearful he would be the one that would object. He's
- 48:38Speaker 4: very protective.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:40Speaker 4: And so once I got the offer from casting the
- 48:44Speaker 4: official offer, he was the first one I called.
- 48:46Speaker 2: So when you were kind of going through it wondering,
- 48:48Speaker 2: you were sharing with your daughters.
- 48:50Speaker 4: I shared with them, and they were excited. With Jack,
- 48:56Speaker 4: he was a left tackle. He protects the quarterback. He
- 48:59Speaker 4: protects his mother. He protects his sisters. And so I
- 49:02Speaker 4: was nervous. And when I called him, it was another
- 49:07Speaker 4: example where I thought it was fate bringing me to
- 49:09Speaker 4: do this experience.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Because he was positive about it? Yeah.
- 49:14Speaker 4: Didn't talk for about five minutes, and I think I
- 49:16Speaker 4: heard a thud. I think he fell to the floor.
- 49:19Speaker 4: But then when he was able to speak, the first
- 49:22Speaker 4: thing he said was, you sacrificed for us our entire
- 49:26Speaker 4: life and I think you should do it or you're
- 49:29Speaker 4: going to have regret and you deserve happiness and you
- 49:32Speaker 4: deserve this opportunity. Yes. And that was very surprising experience. um,
- 49:39Speaker 4: in a good way. And I thought there's nothing stopping
- 49:41Speaker 4: me now. It's all, it's all a green light.
- 49:45Speaker 2: Okay. So what can you tell us about the process
- 49:48Speaker 2: of like choosing the clothes?
- 49:51Speaker 4: So you have to pack, right?
- 49:53Speaker 2: So you have to, do they give you like a
- 49:55Speaker 2: list like you would for a child at camp? Like
- 49:58Speaker 2: you need this many kinds of outfits in case you
- 50:00Speaker 2: make it all the way to the end.
- 50:02Speaker 5: Yes.
- 50:02Speaker 4: You get a golden bachelorette camp packing list. That's exactly
- 50:07Speaker 4: almost what you get. But I had, as you know,
- 50:11Speaker 4: I like shopping and I like clothes. So for me,
- 50:15Speaker 4: that was.
- 50:15Speaker 2: For people that don't know, Maya, also, before having kids
- 50:18Speaker 2: was in the fashion world.
- 50:20Speaker 6: Right.
- 50:21Speaker 2: We met at the first job out of college, which
- 50:24Speaker 2: was being an assistant buyer for Robinson's May, which then
- 50:29Speaker 2: was bought by Macy's. But.
- 50:34Speaker 2: It was not the fun fashion job that we thought
- 50:36Speaker 2: it was going to be.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Then you went on to.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Gas and that was good, but she's still the person
- 50:41Speaker 2: I love to shop with. And if I, she is
- 50:44Speaker 2: the person I call and I say, should I get this?
- 50:47Speaker 2: Should I not?
- 50:47Speaker 4: You just texted me a bag.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 50:50Speaker 4: But so the shopping part, which is daunting for most
- 50:53Speaker 4: people was the most thrilling for me. Yeah. Much more
- 50:57Speaker 4: thrilling than being in front of a camera. You are
- 51:01Speaker 4: to pack for, I think it was eight rose ceremonies. Okay.
- 51:04Speaker 4: So that's eight dresses and things for pool and dates
- 51:08Speaker 4: and all of those things. So that was a lot
- 51:10Speaker 4: of fun.
- 51:11Speaker 2: And so how many bags did you have?
- 51:16Speaker 4: Well, they said bring two.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Two big ones. Right.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Okay. So I had two very large ones. Because I
- 51:21Speaker 4: think if you travel, you're only allowed to bring two bags.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Oh, like you go on the next thing. Okay.
- 51:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:28Speaker 2: All right. Now, how did like the, the initial like
- 51:32Speaker 2: photo shoot and all of that go?
- 51:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 51:35Speaker 4: That was my absolute favorite thing of the whole thing.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 51:39Speaker 4: I loved it. The promo day where, um, I wore
- 51:44Speaker 4: my red jumpsuit and, um, that was ABC promos.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Now that jumpsuit, did you pick out or was there
- 51:52Speaker 2: a day because they wanted you to kind of all
- 51:54Speaker 2: like have a, aesthetic of like these kind of bright
- 51:57Speaker 2: colored outfits.
- 51:58Speaker 4: The wardrobe, ABC wardrobe provided the outfits for that shoot.
- 52:03Speaker 4: And it was a full day of wardrobe and I
- 52:08Speaker 4: got to, you know, pick my favorite music and the
- 52:10Speaker 4: fan was on. And, um, this was my day of,
- 52:14Speaker 4: I met with social media people. I was interviewed. I did, um, photos.
- 52:19Speaker 4: I did a little commercial where I think they showed
- 52:24Speaker 4: before they announced who the girls were going to be.
- 52:26Speaker 4: You can only, I know because you see the sliver
- 52:30Speaker 4: of red and like a gold rose, you see my jaw. Yeah.
- 52:33Speaker 4: That was from that day, but that was really, really fun.
- 52:37Speaker 4: I enjoyed that. And then I did some other shoots
- 52:40Speaker 4: playing pickleball and things like that.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Oh, so like your package of like what your package,
- 52:44Speaker 2: if I would have made it. Yes. So did they
- 52:46Speaker 2: go to your house?
- 52:48Speaker 4: No, I, um, I went to a pickleball court and
- 52:52Speaker 4: they had a little production team there.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Okay. And then, um, okay. So how many days are
- 52:59Speaker 2: you like in the hotel waiting before you go and
- 53:04Speaker 2: have the exciting first night?
- 53:07Speaker 4: I don't know how much I, I should talk about that.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Um, but there was a little bit of time before.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Okay. So you get to the, um, How much did
- 53:18Speaker 2: you know about him? Because it's interesting because I'm watching
- 53:22Speaker 2: it now and the girls, when they have one-on-one time
- 53:25Speaker 2: with him, they're like, well, when I found out it
- 53:27Speaker 2: was you, I was just so excited. And he wasn't
- 53:32Speaker 2: on any other previous seasons, right? He wasn't a guy.
- 53:35Speaker 2: He wasn't a leftover from Joan's season of The Golden Bachelorette.
- 53:38Speaker 2: So what did you... Did they tell you who it's
- 53:42Speaker 2: going to be and you can kind of at least
- 53:43Speaker 2: see what he looks like? Or was it just because...
- 53:45Speaker 2: the news media had released who he was going to
- 53:48Speaker 2: be because he had the controversial podcast episode.
- 53:51Speaker 4: No, they shared who he was. He was tall. He
- 53:54Speaker 4: was a football player. He was a lawyer. So I
- 53:58Speaker 4: like athletic, smart, tall men. He checked those boxes. And
- 54:04Speaker 4: I knew there was some controversy, but being a mother
- 54:08Speaker 4: of athletes and especially football, I know how sometimes things
- 54:14Speaker 4: get misconstrued, locker room talk, things like that. So I
- 54:18Speaker 4: went in wanting to give him the benefit of the
- 54:21Speaker 4: doubt for sure.
- 54:22Speaker 2: And he has two sons and we see the two
- 54:24Speaker 2: sons and he, on last night's episode or one of them,
- 54:29Speaker 2: he reveals like that he was divorced and it was
- 54:32Speaker 2: kind of the wife's choice. And So he's been single
- 54:36Speaker 2: for five years. So he's been dating and I mean,
- 54:39Speaker 2: he is a good looking guy. I mean, I think,
- 54:42Speaker 2: but then the girls are all, we're all so attractive.
- 54:45Speaker 4: Oh, they're one more gorgeous than the other. And they
- 54:48Speaker 4: were all just incredible, dynamic, smart, beautiful. I mean, I
- 54:54Speaker 4: didn't know what to walk into. I think I mentioned
- 54:57Speaker 4: to you prior, were they going to look like the
- 54:59Speaker 4: ladies on the seas candy box or the real golden girls,
- 55:03Speaker 4: you know? that we used to watch on TV. And
- 55:06Speaker 4: it was the opposite. I mean, they were beautiful and
- 55:10Speaker 4: articulate and nice. And you walked in and you're like, whoa,
- 55:15Speaker 4: this is a lot of competition.
- 55:18Speaker 2: But I think that's what's so different about the Golden
- 55:20Speaker 2: Bachelor and then with Joan's season with the Bachelor, the
- 55:25Speaker 2: guys all bonded so much, is especially with the women,
- 55:29Speaker 2: when we get older, You know, we see a lot
- 55:32Speaker 2: of women fighting on Housewives, but when you put them
- 55:34Speaker 2: in this situation, that's what I think was so fun
- 55:37Speaker 2: about the first season is that the girls really enjoyed
- 55:40Speaker 2: getting to know each other.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. I feel, I don't feel, I know, I'm
- 55:46Speaker 4: part of a golden bachelorette sorority. It's a sisterhood. I,
- 55:50Speaker 4: of course, am the baby.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Oh, so that was a big deal.
- 55:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 55:55Speaker 2: So, you know, because of your age and you're shy
- 55:59Speaker 2: of 60 or not, you're in your 50s, They, um,
- 56:03Speaker 2: people that were like analyzing the women coming on, uh,
- 56:08Speaker 2: thought that you were going to be a front runner
- 56:10Speaker 2: because he had said on the podcast, I want women
- 56:14Speaker 2: between 45 and 60. And you literally were the only
- 56:17Speaker 2: one under 60.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Yes.
- 56:20Speaker 2: And, um, so people, and they thought, oh, and she
- 56:23Speaker 2: lives in Malibu, which isn't too far from OC. So
- 56:25Speaker 2: they have that going. They have the football connection. Like
- 56:28Speaker 2: he's tall. So is he? Well, I don't think they
- 56:30Speaker 2: noticed that you were tall. But I just saw some
- 56:34Speaker 2: people saying, oh, it's going to be this girl, Maya.
- 56:37Speaker 4: And my sports background.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 4: So on paper, I think we were perfect together. But
- 56:43Speaker 4: paper and real life are different. And you can't force chemistry.
- 56:50Speaker 4: And I'm sure he didn't feel it either. But that's okay.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Not everybody's going to love you and you're not going
- 56:57Speaker 4: to love everyone. But on paper, we were a great match.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Yeah. So I think, um, yeah, I would have loved
- 57:06Speaker 2: just because I'm your friend, I would have loved to
- 57:09Speaker 2: seen more of your outfits, more of your things. Um,
- 57:13Speaker 2: they did the last episode, they did a roast where
- 57:18Speaker 2: they roasted him and on a group date. And what would,
- 57:24Speaker 2: I think you would have died.
- 57:26Speaker 4: I would have died in one way, being nervous.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you would have been nervous, but I
- 57:30Speaker 2: think you still would have... Even when you're nervous, you
- 57:32Speaker 2: always seem to, like, head out of the park. So
- 57:34Speaker 2: I think you would have been fine.
- 57:35Speaker 4: I would have been good at roasting.
- 57:37Speaker 2: All the girls did great.
- 57:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:39Speaker 2: Like, you know, I mean, I think they almost featured
- 57:41Speaker 2: every single one, but all of them did really well. And, like,
- 57:44Speaker 2: you had a good sense of humor. And, like, it
- 57:49Speaker 2: was fun. But it is interesting to, like, watch how...
- 57:55Speaker 2: You know, I mean, I've been watching The Bachelor forever,
- 57:58Speaker 2: so I know how the love can happen like that
- 58:01Speaker 2: quickly because you really are dating in a bubble.
- 58:04Speaker 4: Right.
- 58:05Speaker 2: And you're kind of, you know, having these great dates.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Nobody is getting distracted with like, you know, a workman
- 58:13Speaker 2: doing something at your house or your kid crying or like,
- 58:15Speaker 2: you know, work. So it's like I do think that's
- 58:18Speaker 2: why these romances evolve. But like it is kind of
- 58:23Speaker 2: interesting to watch like, Some of these women, one of
- 58:26Speaker 2: the women is just, she was like the first to
- 58:29Speaker 2: make out with him. And she, after the cheerleading. I
- 58:32Speaker 2: love her. Oh, of the cheerleading?
- 58:33Speaker 4: After the cheerleading.
- 58:34Speaker 2: So Cindy, the beautiful. With the blue eyes?
- 58:36Speaker 4: With the pretty blue eyes.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:37Speaker 4: Yeah, that's Cindy.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Well, she is falling really hard.
- 58:41Speaker 4: I think a lot of them are falling hard.
- 58:43Speaker 2: And so she's like, I don't know. I realize now
- 58:47Speaker 2: I'm not really comfortable being in a group setting and
- 58:50Speaker 2: seeing this other girl, Nicole, swim over.
- 58:54Speaker 4: Nicole's great.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Like making out with him.
- 58:57Speaker 4: And she's great. I was in the limo with Nicole
- 58:59Speaker 4: and we became fast friends. She was the first person
- 59:03Speaker 4: I met sitting right next to me. And I think
- 59:06Speaker 4: she's really adorable. I think every.
- 59:11Speaker 4: Just has their own personality that comes out. I think
- 59:13Speaker 4: you go on this show and you can't expect The
- 59:16Speaker 4: Bachelor not to date anyone but you. I mean, the
- 59:20Speaker 4: whole premise of the show is other women.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Right. Well, you know, what you always see on The
- 59:27Speaker 2: Regular Bachelor with the young people is you know, one
- 59:30Speaker 2: of the girls going over to the bachelor and saying,
- 59:32Speaker 2: I hate to tell you this, but I don't think
- 59:36Speaker 2: Susie over there is here for the right reasons. What
- 59:39Speaker 2: do you mean? I don't think she's here for you.
- 59:42Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, will we see this in the
- 59:44Speaker 2: golden bachelor? Well, the preview of next week we do.
- 59:49Speaker 2: And it's because Nicole, who has done the make out
- 59:54Speaker 2: in the pool and she got to go on a
- 59:55Speaker 2: one-on-one date with him or something. And she is sitting,
- 59:59Speaker 2: maybe she didn't get the one-on-one. I think she, yeah,
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: I think she got the, she won the, she won
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: the roast.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: She had more.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Time with him. So anyway, she is sitting around a
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: kitchen table and the cameras catch it. And she says, Oh, well,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: I would love to be more of an influencer, like
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: going forward. And so that's, I think what's going to
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: propel some of the women to be like, well, she's
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: not here for the right reasons. And I'm like, anybody
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: going on these shows, you're going to be on TV.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: So the best thing that can happen is you fall
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: in love with this guy and you get married till
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: you die. Right. And then, then everything short of that
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: is I have a great time and I make some friends.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: And then there's another part of like, well, now I'm
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: on like a major, major national show. Maybe it could
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: lead to something else. Maybe it's going to lead to
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: guys DMing me. Maybe it's going to lead to another
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: TV opportunity or whatever.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: So I'm like, I think she was just honest about it.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Like why not? Right. Like we all, like everyone that
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: has an Instagram account could be an influencer. I mean,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: to get out.
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: There and you have, I mean, you're, you do this
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: for a livelihood, but for normal average everyday people to
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: go out of your comfort zone and put yourself out there, um,
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: it's a big deal. And, and I think whatever you
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: choose to, um, have it be beneficial for you. Like
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: if that's what someone wants to do, good for them.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, I was just going to show you on
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: the golden bachelor like page. They did make you like
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: the cover.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: That's cute. I told you I had a great time
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: with the ABC promo people.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: They loved me.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: I love them.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay. Just didn't love Mel. Okay. So, uh, these
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: two girls, the two women from the original bachelor, um,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: season one, season one, this girl, I don't know where
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: the other girl is, but anyway, they come and make
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: a surprise slumber party while the other person's on their
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: one-on-one date. And they, um, basically give their advice. And
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: it was kind of funny because it's like, go for it.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Show them like that. You like him, touch him, kiss him.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: So then the minute he walks in for the, for
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: the rose ceremony, each girl is like, Oh, and then
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: the one girl that owns the winery.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Robin.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: She was tall too. So she, she goes, I guess
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I'm just supposed to like grope you and talk to you,
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: like touch you. She's like, but I'm not really that
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: kind of like, I do think it's really fun to
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: watch like the honesty of it all between all of them,
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: the dynamic of everybody. Um, And so then, you know,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: we had, now it's down to like, maybe I think
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: now it's down to like 12 people.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: 12 or 13. Yeah.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Yeah. No, there was 17 and four left. So now
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: we're down to 13. But, um, what is the best
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: thing about dating now versus when we were, um, bebopping
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: around Manhattan beach at.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: 25 golden era?
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: Well, there's a, you know, it's, After being on the
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: show is different than being before the show too because
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: I am getting DMs from a lot of people, not
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: that I'm dating people that are DMing me. That's exciting.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Yeah. So wait, are there any good ones?
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Well, there's a lot. There's some very creepy ones and
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: there's some blue check mark people. Yeah, it's been interesting.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: So that's different. When you date at this age, you're
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: more evolved emotionally. you're not going to fall for the
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: same games maybe you did when you were younger. That
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: was one thing that I thought was the reason I
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: was going to go on the show too. I mean,
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: obviously you hope there's chemistry and a connection and you're
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: going to connect with The Bachelor, but I really believed
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: that part of my purpose of going on the show
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: was to show women our age that there is life
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: and there is fun and there is dating and there's
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: a whole world out there that sometimes you forget about
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: and you think, you know, I'm older now. I'm not
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: 20 or 30. How am I going to meet people?
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: Are people going to want to date me? And all
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: of those fears are completely untrue. And I really discovered
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: that I mean, there's a lot of tall older men.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: There's a lot of kind single men. There's, um, it's fun.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: I'm having a lot of fun.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: I think it's, um, and I also think the thing
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: that people need to remember too, whether you're married or not,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: is that the female friendship. And I think sometimes women
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: do lose that. Either their work didn't provide it. They
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: didn't leave, live in a neighborhood or community for it. They, um,
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: you know, and maybe it was all school related. Right.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: And now those kids are grown in another high school.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: And it's like, that's another thing I think that like
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: the show could show you, but also anything is like
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: join that pickleball thing, that Mahjong, that book club, all
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: those things, your church, whatever. Like, and then, I mean,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: I know there's so much, um, I spoke to one
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: travel agent that said like, I have so many, um,
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: travel opportunities for women like in their fifties, married and
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: not like doesn't where the crotchety husband is just like, go,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I don't care. Like you want to go look at
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: every museum in Italy. Crotchety husband doesn't want to.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: It's just about fine.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Like to do what you want to do, what you want.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: To do and being brave. I mean, you know me,
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: I left a 30 year marriage. I was living in
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: the Bay area and I relocated to Malibu and I,
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: All those thoughts went through my head. I'm not going
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: to back to school night. I'm not going to the
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: football games. I'm not going to practices. I'm not going
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: to work in the class. How at this age am
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I going to meet people? And I did it and
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: immediately everything opened up. I did do the pickleball camp.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: I met three or four friends. I was invited to
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: a book club. I started a Mahjong group. I go
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: to Pilates. I feel such a sense of community. And
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: I want women over 50 to know that all of
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: this is possible. And if you are in a situation
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: where you're unhappy and you're afraid to leave because you think,
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: what is my life going to be if I leave?
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Your life could be a lot better. It really can.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: And you just have to know that and believe that
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: and know, you know, a bird wakes up in the morning.
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: They don't know they're going to find food. They find it.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: They survive.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: They live.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: And humans can do that too. Yeah. So, um, that's
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: a big thing that I would like to share with
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: women our age is that if you're unhappy, if you're afraid,
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: like get over that and it's time to live life
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: and you can have a great life at the other end.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Now, um, okay. So I wonder who, did anybody, did
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: you ever think if you did go a long way,
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: would you want to ever be the bachelorette? Sure. The
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Golden Bachelorette.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Why not?
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Kathy Griffin said she'd like to be it.
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: Oh, I think she'd be a good one.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: It would be interesting if they did like a celebrity person.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: I think they should do a celebrity version. Like that
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: would be funny.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: A single celebrity. Yeah.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: That would just be kind of funny. Like they could
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: do real, just like they used to do with The Apprentice.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Like they could do real ones and then they could
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: also do celebrity ones.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: I think the show has a way of I mean,
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: I remember putting you on the map. A few people
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: said to me, like being on the show sometimes is
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: a good luck charm and people find love just from
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: being on the show.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: So let's hope that's possible for this girl.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Well, I think you've been pretty enjoying your life a
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: lot since, since, uh, you moved to Malibu and divorce.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: And I mean, it's fun. Like I love hearing about it.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Mai and I also got into some funny memories and
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: personal stuff that we experienced in our 20s. That is
