- 0:49Speaker 10: Wayne Gandee, Good morning to you on this beautiful Monday
- 0:55Speaker 10: Veterans Day. A big shout out to all our veterans
- 0:59Speaker 10: out there that have, at any point in your life
- 1:04Speaker 10: decided to defend the freedoms of this country. Whether it
- 1:09Speaker 10: was a day or a forty year career. You taking
- 1:15Speaker 10: the time to put your needs aside and address the
- 1:20Speaker 10: needs of the country. We salute you for all of that.
- 1:24Speaker 10: Big Kenny, good morning to you. Thank you for your service, sir,
- 1:29Speaker 10: Thank you, sir. My honor is my honor. The bad producer,
- 1:33Speaker 10: good morning, good morning, thank you.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Well, no you didn't, sir, they had to do that,
- 1:41Speaker 1: but good morning.
- 1:44Speaker 11: I got to offend him now, thank you very well
- 1:51Speaker 11: and all family members of mine.
- 1:52Speaker 10: And DJ dog Is on the ones in two. Good morning, sir,
- 1:55Speaker 10: good morning, good morning, Good morning out there in listening land.
- 1:59Speaker 10: Do something on today if you're a veteran, to commemorate
- 2:03Speaker 10: the moment, nothing illegal, but something fun and that brings
- 2:09Speaker 10: you joy, not the people around you. So pick your
- 2:12Speaker 10: restaurant that you want to go to and get some
- 2:15Speaker 10: freaking because they're given us free veterans that that have proof.
- 2:20Speaker 1: You know, you're retired veterans and that's like that, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: you know what that knows me.
- 2:26Speaker 10: Piggyback to what I wanted to talk about off the top,
- 2:29Speaker 10: but as you can see the Tuskegee University on my jersey,
- 2:33Speaker 10: on my sweat ship, my hoodie. Yeah, I wanted to
- 2:36Speaker 10: send this out to all my HBCUs because this season alone,
- 2:40Speaker 10: we have had three shootings. Three I know of trace
- 2:46Speaker 10: that I'm that I'm very aware that happened because two
- 2:51Speaker 10: of the places I've paid money to, Tuskegee and Tennessee State.
- 2:57Speaker 10: I'm saying this because, as you said, I d car
- 3:01Speaker 10: yes a lot of times in these situations at homecomings
- 3:07Speaker 10: at HBCUs a lot of the traffic becomes others others,
- 3:17Speaker 10: and the term of others means anyone that is not
- 3:21Speaker 10: of the student body. Other it becomes. Is part of
- 3:25Speaker 10: why the freak nick here in Atlanta got out of control.
- 3:30Speaker 10: For great example, when it started it was students, college students.
- 3:35Speaker 10: Then when you filled in the others, then all of
- 3:39Speaker 10: a sudden, we have to run it away most places.
- 3:44Speaker 10: It was already crazy enough in Daytona with the college students,
- 3:51Speaker 10: but when the others decided they also would come to
- 3:57Speaker 10: spring break, now it has been come a complete catastrophe.
- 4:02Speaker 10: You want to run it out of town.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm about to use some vacation time from GM to
- 4:08Speaker 1: run down here to Daytona to of the bilding, jump
- 4:12Speaker 1: off the top of the building with my people. Now
- 4:13Speaker 1: into the pool, come a daughter.
- 4:16Speaker 10: A four foot pool can definitely support a twenty foot drop.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, can at fifty years old, come my daughter
- 4:25Speaker 1: in Panama City.
- 4:25Speaker 10: I'd be embarrassed. And I really just want to send
- 4:28Speaker 10: that out. When you said ID card, you gotta go
- 4:31Speaker 10: back to the exclusive idea that these parties, especially on campus,
- 4:39Speaker 10: are for the students, the student body. People with an
- 4:44Speaker 10: ID at least that the two or three people that
- 4:48Speaker 10: came in, one of them was a student. So there's
- 4:52Speaker 10: an idea that whoever may decide to do any actions
- 4:57Speaker 10: of violence can be more recognized and that we can
- 5:02Speaker 10: find because these three people came in with student Gandhi
- 5:07Speaker 10: under this number. Yes, and you can send them out
- 5:11Speaker 10: to the alumni too, as you're saying with the retired
- 5:14Speaker 10: veterans star. So I'm not saying it just has to
- 5:16Speaker 10: be the current everybody. I'm still a part of the
- 5:19Speaker 10: Auburn Alumni Club. They send me a new decal every year.
- 5:25Speaker 10: When you send them your one hundred dollars, hundred and
- 5:27Speaker 10: fifty dollars, they send you a new decal. That's what
- 5:30Speaker 10: gets you. And I'm not saying it has just be you.
- 5:33Speaker 10: I'm saying, but at least you're here to point that
- 5:36Speaker 10: these people are with me. Yes, because in a lot
- 5:41Speaker 10: of these cases it's others. The typical college student might
- 5:47Speaker 10: have a little handgun, but typically they don't have an
- 5:51Speaker 10: assault rifle.
- 5:53Speaker 12: No.
- 5:54Speaker 10: So I'm not saying college students don't own the weapon. Now,
- 5:57Speaker 10: I'm saying, and usually it's not just open season for them.
- 6:01Speaker 10: Is they're looking for one particular person yeah, Johnny who
- 6:07Speaker 10: stole their girlfriend. That's all they're looking for.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And he really don't want to find Johnny. He just
- 6:11Speaker 1: want people to know that he upset, his heart is broken.
- 6:14Speaker 1: It's miss misdirected. But we see a lot of others.
- 6:17Speaker 10: We've seen it even in the teenage high school parties
- 6:20Speaker 10: where the people that were shooting were upset because they
- 6:25Speaker 10: wanted to be let in. The people at the door
- 6:28Speaker 10: were like, well, no, this party is for us, the
- 6:33Speaker 10: graduat Oh you're gonna let me in?
- 6:35Speaker 1: No, but we just just a graduating class of this school.
- 6:38Speaker 10: I know, this Carver graduation class, but I'm from Bannaka.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You go no, no, I'm saying, And it's just it's
- 6:44Speaker 1: just for Carver and the people graduating this year.
- 6:46Speaker 10: Like my mama graduated from carverd she ain't come.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I'm saying, my cousins graduating from Carver, they're not invited.
- 6:53Speaker 10: This is just Carver. So twenty four, that's the only
- 6:55Speaker 10: thing I can offer you. And that was something I
- 6:57Speaker 10: do know when I was in college, out of the events,
- 7:01Speaker 10: especially on campus, if you wasn't were not a student,
- 7:05Speaker 10: it was a hard no. Now, how much you have
- 7:09Speaker 10: laxed over the last thirty years since I've been in college.
- 7:13Speaker 10: That would be something I don't I just know it
- 7:15Speaker 10: was a real at a lot of places in Auburn.
- 7:19Speaker 10: If it was deemed a college party, if you didn't
- 7:22Speaker 10: have an id or someone to bounce for you, like
- 7:28Speaker 10: on a Saturday after the game, you know, your brother,
- 7:31Speaker 10: your cousin, or your best friend in town. Somebody had
- 7:34Speaker 10: to validate that you should there be here. Now, now
- 7:37Speaker 10: do you do?
- 7:38Speaker 4: You do?
- 7:38Speaker 1: You know what stopped that? They used to want to
- 7:40Speaker 1: do stuff like that. But then people start screaming if
- 7:43Speaker 1: that's unfair, that's you can't do that. That's my civil
- 7:48Speaker 1: I'm you can't keep me out of this is my pride.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And if the q's are having a party and it's
- 7:58Speaker 1: ques only, they have the right to keep you out,
- 8:01Speaker 1: to keep you out of you or anyone other than
- 8:03Speaker 1: a cue and and and believe me, I've done it.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Excuse me, brother brother, I'm sorry about my own my
- 8:09Speaker 1: own brother.
- 8:10Speaker 10: God rest his soul partner.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You can't come in.
- 8:13Speaker 10: DJ Dot has known me my whole life and he
- 8:16Speaker 10: knows that when we were playing them drums, you want
- 8:20Speaker 10: a part of the drum section.
- 8:21Speaker 1: What you're doing back here. You can't be back here?
- 8:25Speaker 1: YouTuber player, what you're doing back here?
- 8:27Speaker 10: Who's man? Who's man? This is the percussion section, saxophonists,
- 8:35Speaker 10: what are you doing back here?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Who's would win read instrument? Is this where you come from?
- 8:44Speaker 10: This is the drumming section. So just a little nugget
- 8:48Speaker 10: of maybe something you can institute. Because one time, but
- 8:51Speaker 10: three times in one season terrible.
- 8:54Speaker 1: If it was one time each year, okay, that's it.
- 8:57Speaker 10: But three times in one season one not even and
- 9:00Speaker 10: the season ain't even. Homecomings aren't even coming. We got
- 9:04Speaker 10: about two three more weeks of different homecomings around the
- 9:07Speaker 10: cut offerings. Homecoming is this weekend? What y'all be mad
- 9:10Speaker 10: about at homecoming?
- 9:12Speaker 1: No, I'm saying, yeah, I want to ask the young
- 9:14Speaker 1: or whoever is doing shooting, what y'all mad about? What
- 9:17Speaker 1: you get mad about in an environment like that, everybody's
- 9:20Speaker 1: passing you food and drinks and happy to see you,
- 9:24Speaker 1: and yeah, Frank, just everything. People are doing the electric
- 9:28Speaker 1: slide in the middle of it of a parking lot,
- 9:31Speaker 1: listen to the perfect listen to the perfect beat, and
- 9:34Speaker 1: everything is beautiful, and you think this ought to be
- 9:37Speaker 1: shot up. I don't understand hopefully what they're.
- 9:40Speaker 12: Doing, they're they're meeting up at these events to act
- 9:44Speaker 12: out the way they are. You know, these these these
- 9:46Speaker 12: are games, you guys. I mean, that's that's what it is.
- 9:49Speaker 12: So when I see my rival gang or I post
- 9:51Speaker 12: or I see I'm following them and I get their
- 9:53Speaker 12: location that they're going to be at the big event,
- 9:56Speaker 12: we'll meet them there and just shoot it out and innocent.
- 9:59Speaker 10: And that's why he said, the first thing you can
- 10:00Speaker 10: institute to start making people show id to even be.
- 10:05Speaker 10: You can't protect off campus stuff because usually that is
- 10:08Speaker 10: opening your clubs and stuff. But on campus and and
- 10:12Speaker 10: this is stemming for you that might have heard the story.
- 10:16Speaker 10: Arrest has been made in this Tuskigee shooting that happened
- 10:20Speaker 10: at they're homecoming. One dead, sixteen injured. But reports are
- 10:25Speaker 10: they have arrested, uh one And rightfully, so we know
- 10:30Speaker 10: in our country now, certain crimes they gonna they're gonna
- 10:33Speaker 10: turn on all the ATM camera. Dude, everybody's aware of.
- 10:40Speaker 1: That, right you know, you know, just a movie, but
- 10:45Speaker 1: God's I will be turned on all the ring cameras cameras.
- 10:51Speaker 10: Certain you shoot people on campus, they're gonna turn on.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Everything, every camera within every purchase perimeter, and it's good
- 11:00Speaker 1: all that information is going to be sent straight to
- 11:03Speaker 1: the college. They do have at least one.
- 11:05Speaker 10: It was multiple people shooting, so they.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Got them all.
- 11:08Speaker 10: So they got one, They got them all. One person
- 11:11Speaker 10: is dead. I think the person they arrested was twenty
- 11:14Speaker 10: five years old. This happened about one point thirty and
- 11:16Speaker 10: just wanted to address that because that is the third
- 11:18Speaker 10: time this season that we've had shooting at home coming,
- 11:25Speaker 10: and I think this is the second time somebody was
- 11:27Speaker 10: killed in the incident. So hopefully we consume and quickly
- 11:34Speaker 10: fix that. Monday night football is to night the Dolphins
- 11:39Speaker 10: to attack Leoa. Tyreek Hill headed to La to play
- 11:44Speaker 10: the Rams and a must win.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You feel for the Dolphins and the state of Florida
- 11:51Speaker 1: Sports Shop. From what I understand, the Miami Dolphins are
- 11:54Speaker 1: the only Florida team that has not lost their game
- 11:58Speaker 1: this week. Every FBS, every HBCU, every school in Florida
- 12:05Speaker 1: that play football lost this weekend, and Florida, Florida, Georgia
- 12:13Speaker 1: knocked off Miami, Georgia Tech knocked off Miam If you
- 12:16Speaker 1: didn't if you didn't see the Miami loss, coming. You
- 12:19Speaker 1: really need to get and use your insurance on some
- 12:22Speaker 1: visual work. If you ain't see that.
- 12:25Speaker 10: Yeah, that was this little mad scrambled with eight minutes
- 12:27Speaker 10: to go. That got you the wins, because that's how
- 12:30Speaker 10: they won all the games.
- 12:31Speaker 11: And then the Virginia Tech game was still a lot
- 12:34Speaker 11: of people mind was suspect.
- 12:35Speaker 10: Yeah, but your your approach cannot be the offense has
- 12:39Speaker 10: to score fifty points each week. That's not an effect
- 12:43Speaker 10: to win game point sounds like the faculty.
- 12:47Speaker 11: But but did you see the Georgia Tech students. Man,
- 12:50Speaker 11: they I mean there was a video out there of
- 12:52Speaker 11: them fighting security to get that goal post to get
- 12:55Speaker 11: into the frat house.
- 12:56Speaker 10: I mean, well, Georgia Tech has been in the black
- 13:00Speaker 10: what is it black or red? Red for a long time.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Long time you have been in the red. Yeah, it
- 13:09Speaker 1: makes you want to scrap.
- 13:10Speaker 10: Their sports department has been in the red for a
- 13:12Speaker 10: long time. I don't even know if they recovered yet,
- 13:16Speaker 10: but I do know for a while Georgia Tech sporting
- 13:19Speaker 10: program down there, athletic department, Oh yeah, for a long time.
- 13:25Speaker 10: They were just happy. They were smart. So them security guards,
- 13:27Speaker 10: Hey man, we don't have we don't have that three
- 13:30Speaker 10: fifty thousand dollars because Storm in the Field is already
- 13:33Speaker 10: a certain set amount, didn't you take? I think the
- 13:37Speaker 10: gold post is another amount, right, So y'all can do
- 13:41Speaker 10: that in Texas?
- 13:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but we ain't got let's talk. They were munching
- 13:46Speaker 1: on North Avenue Arsity. The Varsity don't even have drive
- 13:49Speaker 1: up no more.
- 13:50Speaker 10: So you know, I tell you what you have, this
- 13:53Speaker 10: billy club across the face. But we'll be back. We
- 13:56Speaker 10: got a big show for you, a lot of NFL,
- 13:58Speaker 10: a lot of NBA with Bronnie James and the g League.
- 14:02Speaker 10: The Candy Man died, Candy Man, Candy Man.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Don't do that show, don't do I'm saying it's only
- 14:08Speaker 1: four of us though. You can't do around more than
- 14:11Speaker 1: four people.
- 14:12Speaker 10: You can't.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Oh if I call on him with more than four
- 14:15Speaker 1: here show I believe. So ain't that how it works?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Plus we got to be in the project good thank
- 14:22Speaker 1: you project, which means we kind of saye, he don't
- 14:28Speaker 1: even want to come to him. We need the project.
- 14:40Speaker 4: We don't need to escalate. See, it's not the.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Fall in love Candy.
- 14:54Speaker 4: You know, we got the money.
- 14:57Speaker 13: One of the Sports John Show with Wayne Gamsey stumming
- 15:00Speaker 13: up next.
- 15:10Speaker 2: We committed to protect our country. We served and sacrificed
- 15:15Speaker 2: for the things that mattered most. Those experiences shaped our lives,
- 15:22Speaker 2: even if it isn't always obvious to those around us.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And now that we've served, our commitments have taken on
- 15:29Speaker 2: a new meaning. We're husbands, wives, parents, friends and neighbors.
- 15:38Speaker 2: But sometimes we still feel alone. We forget that our
- 15:42Speaker 2: biggest challenge can be to ask for support.
- 15:45Speaker 1: When we needed.

- 17:59Speaker 20: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 18:02Speaker 20: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 18:05Speaker 20: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 18:08Speaker 20: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 18:11Speaker 20: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 18:15Speaker 20: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 18:17Speaker 20: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 18:21Speaker 20: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 18:24Speaker 20: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 18:28Speaker 20: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 18:30Speaker 20: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 18:33Speaker 20: being that good role model as well. That model's good
- 18:36Speaker 20: behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 18:39Speaker 20: coming home.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And being able to put on that smile.
- 18:42Speaker 20: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 18:45Speaker 20: and watching.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Your kids be happy. Never stop being a dad.
- 18:51Speaker 19: That's dedication.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Find out more Fatherhood dot Gov.

- 19:18Speaker 19: A completely different level this year.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Where we highlight an appolete that has taken their game
- 19:23Speaker 5: to the next level.
- 19:41Speaker 19: St.
- 19:42Speaker 21: Texas.
- 19:43Speaker 4: No hold.

- 19:48Speaker 10: Wayne Candy. Happy Monday to you. Happy Veterans Day to
- 19:52Speaker 10: you as well. I know a lot of people are
- 19:54Speaker 10: off work today. Are the banks open?
- 20:00Speaker 1: No, I don't think banks and the government.
- 20:04Speaker 10: Schools are open. Schools are open, thank you. Yes, okay,
- 20:07Speaker 10: schools are open.
- 20:08Speaker 1: But I think they want to recognize the veterans.
- 20:11Speaker 10: Not the post. No, they get enough days off school.
- 20:15Speaker 10: You give them another holiday.
- 20:16Speaker 1: What about the teachers that are veterans that they're teaching.
- 20:19Speaker 10: You know how they understand service, sir. They've cut they've
- 20:23Speaker 10: cut a school year about thirty days shorter than it
- 20:26Speaker 10: used to be twenty years ago.
- 20:28Speaker 1: And that's overall. But in Cobb County. Yes, in Cobb
- 20:32Speaker 1: County cut by forty five days. No, No, I'm serious.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'm serious. They have a program that institutes every six
- 20:41Speaker 1: weeks a classless environment for teachers to maintain retention. They say,
- 20:48Speaker 1: keep them relaxed.
- 20:50Speaker 10: In the Honor Veterans Day, a lot of people got upset.
- 20:53Speaker 10: The naval base out in San Diego. Fox Sport did
- 20:57Speaker 10: their show from there with Terry Howie, James Brown and
- 21:06Speaker 10: our man Michael Strahan. A lot of people took exception
- 21:12Speaker 10: to that Michael Straighthand did not put his hand. Now,
- 21:17Speaker 10: this is just social media, this is just people needing
- 21:20Speaker 10: to find everything. I think people some people are just
- 21:24Speaker 10: wired to only see the bad in things. That's they're
- 21:30Speaker 10: They're looking for something that is not completely on board.
- 21:38Speaker 10: As they were undering the flag, Michael Straighthand did not
- 21:41Speaker 10: put his hand over his heart. Now I will say this,
- 21:52Speaker 10: I stand like Michael Straighthan. I know a lot of athletes,
- 21:58Speaker 10: especially in for ball in basketball. When I watched them stand,
- 22:04Speaker 10: they just stand up kind of upright. They have the
- 22:06Speaker 10: hands in front, they have the hands in back. Now,
- 22:09Speaker 10: everybody up there, as I said, most of his board
- 22:12Speaker 10: were ex players, but Terry and a Howie that age group,
- 22:20Speaker 10: it was more traditional. That's how you stood like you
- 22:22Speaker 10: were pledging the flag, as we all were taught in
- 22:27Speaker 10: elementary elementary. But if you watch a football game, you
- 22:31Speaker 10: have equally as many guys who are just standing. Their
- 22:35Speaker 10: hands are usually cross in front or in back, and
- 22:38Speaker 10: then you have a couple of guys that still do
- 22:41Speaker 10: the heart. But I never saw it and thought, oh
- 22:45Speaker 10: that person. To me, the only time you're dishonoring the
- 22:49Speaker 10: moment is if you're sitting. You're dishonoring any moment in
- 22:56Speaker 10: any country or any religion when you're not opposite Irving.
- 23:02Speaker 10: I've said this when we used to have the controversey.
- 23:04Speaker 10: I might not be of your religion, but when something
- 23:08Speaker 10: comes up, I have one or two choices. I can
- 23:14Speaker 10: do as they say, like Rome, right, I can when
- 23:19Speaker 10: that moment come, I'll just step out until it's over.
- 23:22Speaker 10: But I would not dishonor your religion, right And if
- 23:29Speaker 10: if that's the case, and so I didn't, I didn't
- 23:32Speaker 10: see any When you told me about it, I looked
- 23:33Speaker 10: at it real quick and I was thinking, well, that's
- 23:35Speaker 10: how I typically stand for the flag and stand therect
- 23:40Speaker 10: and properly take my hat off, your hands crossed in
- 23:44Speaker 10: front of you and or in the back in the
- 23:47Speaker 10: back right.
- 23:47Speaker 1: And for those those who have taken offense with it.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Some always want to know the perspective of a veteran,
- 23:55Speaker 1: someone who served as someone who served in the Marine
- 23:58Speaker 1: Corps urrah uh Michael straighthand a lot of people try
- 24:04Speaker 1: to project upon him. It was disrespect towards the American
- 24:06Speaker 1: service people and the American flag. And even if that
- 24:10Speaker 1: was the case, to me, that incident was America. The
- 24:15Speaker 1: most American thing you could have done on Veterans Day
- 24:18Speaker 1: because you have somebody like a Michael Strahan who decided
- 24:22Speaker 1: that he doesn't want them put his hand on his
- 24:25Speaker 1: heart for the flag, and people who fight and die
- 24:27Speaker 1: for that flag are standing around him wondering why is
- 24:30Speaker 1: Michael Strahan not putting his hand on his heart? Why
- 24:34Speaker 1: are you not stomping his guts out? Because we fight
- 24:38Speaker 1: for his freedom to do that. That's America. But you
- 24:42Speaker 1: got to agree with me, But you get to stand
- 24:46Speaker 1: there how you want us. As a veteran, do you
- 24:50Speaker 1: feel like people should put their hand on their heart
- 24:53Speaker 1: forget the American in sensibility? No, no, no, no, no.
- 24:55Speaker 1: That that's That's what I'm saying, sir. That ain't the
- 24:57Speaker 1: veteran wait in the military, you are charged with defending that,
- 25:04Speaker 1: and I can't make any decisions outside of that. I
- 25:07Speaker 1: ain't no judgment call No.
- 25:08Speaker 10: It's not a judgment. I'm saying in the traditional way
- 25:12Speaker 10: of how the military are you supposed? It was never
- 25:16Speaker 10: ingrained that the two had to go together. I'm saying
- 25:21Speaker 10: the part that everybody tends to know is that you're
- 25:24Speaker 10: supposed to stand.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Right, You're supposed to stand and for for me a military.
- 25:30Speaker 10: Service person, and take your head off here.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Right, I go with whatever your personal freedom leads you
- 25:38Speaker 1: to do. Still, No, you be trying to make me
- 25:42Speaker 1: take a side when I don't want that side. I
- 25:44Speaker 1: asked you to take a side you're asking me. I'm saying,
- 25:47Speaker 1: if you don't want to stand, you there's when missing
- 25:51Speaker 1: the complete question because you're in your emotion about something
- 25:55Speaker 1: that I'm not asking you to tell me what to do.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you as in the military, right, our military
- 26:03Speaker 1: personnel taught to put their hand over the flag, like
- 26:07Speaker 1: we have to salute during during If we have a
- 26:10Speaker 1: cover on, we salute. If not, we have to stand
- 26:13Speaker 1: uh at parade rest. If you're in your civilian clothes,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I have to stop and stand at parade rest, and
- 26:19Speaker 1: then once it's over, I can go on with my way. Okay,
- 26:22Speaker 1: That's how it's all it was. Okay, it was about
- 26:25Speaker 1: the military people specifically. Yes, if they have a cover
- 26:30Speaker 1: on a hat, they're supposed to actually turn towards the
- 26:34Speaker 1: music where they hear it coming from and salute. If
- 26:37Speaker 1: there's a flag present, they have to turn towards the
- 26:39Speaker 1: flag and salute. And if you don't have on a
- 26:43Speaker 1: cover but are in military uniform, you have to stand
- 26:46Speaker 1: at attention.
- 26:47Speaker 10: Because even if you're at a game bab producer is
- 26:50Speaker 10: a doc, they typically say stand and remove your hat. Yes,
- 26:53Speaker 10: correct as instructions. They don't say put your hand over
- 26:57Speaker 10: your heart.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And people take offense because and take you and people
- 27:00Speaker 1: take offense because there are instructions that go with it.
- 27:03Speaker 10: Please stand, remain silent, take off your hat.
- 27:05Speaker 1: So if you see somebody not doing that, they're doing
- 27:08Speaker 1: it on purpose. Yes, it is deliberate, it's willful, it's intentional.
- 27:13Speaker 10: And that's what I thought you.
- 27:15Speaker 11: Was asking, Kenny, as a military veteran, where they are
- 27:18Speaker 11: you offended by that? That's what I know a lot
- 27:21Speaker 11: of guys that are veterans and are still in the service. Yes,
- 27:25Speaker 11: they are offended, and we want to hurt you, to
- 27:28Speaker 11: hurt you about that because America.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's what I'm sharing.
- 27:32Speaker 10: The part of the putting in a hand is not
- 27:36Speaker 10: something that has been cemented.
- 27:38Speaker 11: Yeah, I don't think they're about the hair that you're
- 27:40Speaker 11: supposed to do, just standing up and removing your cap
- 27:43Speaker 11: and following them.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And as you mentioned with Terry, how we that generation
- 27:48Speaker 1: we used to stand in school and place our hands
- 27:51Speaker 1: over our hearts. What else for the Pledge of Legions, right,
- 27:53Speaker 1: But that's sort of what the national and the Pledge
- 27:57Speaker 1: of Legions in the before they've all they told of
- 28:00Speaker 1: hands over our hearts because even before we start our
- 28:03Speaker 1: meetings my organization, we pledge legiate. So now if you've noticed,
- 28:08Speaker 1: they used to add that to the instruction, So please stand,
- 28:12Speaker 1: remove your hats, place your hand over your heart. I've
- 28:14Speaker 1: they asked them, They've asked them to please stop that
- 28:18Speaker 1: part because people were trying to find a medium between
- 28:23Speaker 1: being respectful and resisting. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 28:27Speaker 10: At any point you start trying to Okay, I barely
- 28:33Speaker 10: can get you to stand right, So let's cut it down.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Just be quiet.
- 28:40Speaker 10: Can you just stand and not saying anything? And it'd
- 28:44Speaker 10: be nice because I really have only seen it. The
- 28:47Speaker 10: hand is not something I've seen. I thought not standing
- 28:50Speaker 10: and not removing your hat were the two keys to me.
- 28:56Speaker 10: The hand over the heart. As though people were talking
- 28:57Speaker 10: about with straight hand. He's looking in the same direction.
- 29:02Speaker 10: He looks like in about three minutes the game is
- 29:05Speaker 10: about to start. Well, let me ask you this from
- 29:08Speaker 10: a from time.
- 29:10Speaker 11: The ones who don't want to take their hats off,
- 29:12Speaker 11: you could tell if they do stand and then don't
- 29:14Speaker 11: take your hat off.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I was gonna say. We talked about the NFL and
- 29:19Speaker 1: how when they were having their flag controversy, you said
- 29:21Speaker 1: some people just stand in the in the tunnel. Why
- 29:24Speaker 1: did if Michael Strahan not want to put his hand,
- 29:26Speaker 1: knowing that others were going to, why didn't they just say, hey, Mike,
- 29:29Speaker 1: you could sit out. Well he didn't.
- 29:31Speaker 10: He probably didn't know, didn't know it was going to
- 29:32Speaker 10: be like that, yell. I doubt that they gave them
- 29:35Speaker 10: instructions on how.
- 29:36Speaker 1: To because that would cause controversy to when you get
- 29:39Speaker 1: out there, you better put your hand on your heart. Yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 1: we'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 29:56Speaker 10: He's been telling me all.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Mean, girls, at least go some know it's nine to.

- 30:21Speaker 2: As veterans, we committed to protect our country. We served
- 30:26Speaker 2: and sacrificed were the things that mattered most. Those experiences
- 30:32Speaker 2: shaped our lives, even if it isn't always obvious to
- 30:36Speaker 2: those around us. And now that we've served, our commitments
- 30:41Speaker 2: have taken on a new meaning. We're husbands, wives, parents,
- 30:48Speaker 2: friends and neighbors.
- 30:50Speaker 19: But sometimes we still feel alone.

- 35:02Speaker 10: Welcome back to the Sport Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 35:04Speaker 10: wing candy. On Saturday night down in bot woos Omar
- 35:11Speaker 10: Bradley made his presence felt on the field. That's the
- 35:17Speaker 10: big Bengal tiger that LSU decided to bring out on display.
- 35:25Speaker 10: Now in nineteen ninety three, my Auburn Tigers and I
- 35:29Speaker 10: went to bottom Woosh and they had the live tiger
- 35:33Speaker 10: down there as well, and similar to Bama on this
- 35:39Speaker 10: Saturday night thirty years ago.
- 35:42Speaker 1: On that Saturday.
- 35:43Speaker 10: Night, we put that dust up on the tiger, broke
- 35:47Speaker 10: them off, they fired the coach by the time we
- 35:52Speaker 10: left the stadium. No lie on the bus back. We
- 35:55Speaker 10: put that dust up on him. But a lot of people,
- 35:58Speaker 10: just like with every situation, on social media, and maybe
- 36:02Speaker 10: I should start saying a lot of people on social
- 36:04Speaker 10: media and the observation that it was cruel and unusual treatment.
- 36:13Speaker 10: And that's why for the last nine years since Mike
- 36:18Speaker 10: the six passed away. LSU's beloved Bengal tiger, Mike the seventh,
- 36:26Speaker 10: has never attended a game, but the governor of Louisiana
- 36:32Speaker 10: wanted this tradition back, so he reached out to a
- 36:39Speaker 10: animal group that supplies rare animals to circuses and shows
- 36:46Speaker 10: and different things. And that's where we get Omar Bradley.
- 36:49Speaker 10: That is the name of the Bengal tiger that was
- 36:52Speaker 10: on the sideline.
- 36:53Speaker 1: And I have to speak.
- 36:55Speaker 10: I don't really speak Bengal tiger, but I did see the.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Language of him in this cage.
- 37:06Speaker 10: He was a Bama fan. He was like, man, I
- 37:11Speaker 10: finally got me a sideline pass.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And look at that boy lighting up with them animal
- 37:17Speaker 1: rights people right now, you that not only have you
- 37:20Speaker 1: bought into the game, you didn't assigned them a team.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Oh they want us gone now.
- 37:25Speaker 10: He looked like he had been in Tuscan Loocid the
- 37:27Speaker 10: night before and they drove him down the bat and rude,
- 37:31Speaker 10: but he looked very cold. I don't know what I mean.
- 37:34Speaker 10: I'm not a veterinarian. I know they keep talking about
- 37:37Speaker 10: these animals reacting these ways, but I was at the
- 37:43Speaker 10: Georgia Auburn game. Ugga be on the field pimping. When
- 37:50Speaker 10: it gets hot, he go in his doghouse when he
- 37:52Speaker 10: wants somebody to rub on his head. He come wobbling
- 37:55Speaker 10: out and he look at somebody walk over and he
- 37:59Speaker 10: get his head, it rub its throat, and then he
- 38:04Speaker 10: go back into the who's a good boy, who's a
- 38:07Speaker 10: good boy? Good boy?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Yes you go too mission, Yes we are, we can
- 38:12Speaker 1: go back in the house.
- 38:14Speaker 10: You know.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I don't know if that's cruel and unusual, but it
- 38:18Speaker 1: seemed like.
- 38:19Speaker 10: That's a pit he doesn't be Yeah, I mean when
- 38:21Speaker 10: you see Bevo, he'd be looking like when it's dinner and.
- 38:25Speaker 1: And see, now this is something a lot of time
- 38:27Speaker 1: you ever seen a cow with a coat that is
- 38:29Speaker 1: golden as Bevo? How many times? Not for long? Lest
- 38:35Speaker 1: one usually go first brown go over there and grab him.
- 38:42Speaker 1: And that's part of what I don't think these people understand.
- 38:46Speaker 1: There's something Bevo will never have to face, sir, and
- 38:49Speaker 1: that is medium or well done. He's saying, Omar Bradley
- 38:58Speaker 1: is not out on a already somewhere on some get
- 39:01Speaker 1: down here they come.
- 39:03Speaker 10: They He's not.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Worried about that. And these animal rights people always wonder this.
- 39:07Speaker 1: They go, The tigers are pacing back and forth. It's nervousness.
- 39:10Speaker 1: You don't think they like feel like they had a
- 39:13Speaker 1: buffet like that one delicious over there. It's a whole
- 39:16Speaker 1: bunch of prey in front of me. I'm thinking these
- 39:19Speaker 1: people just teasing me. So I don't know. And but
- 39:23Speaker 1: if it is, because.
- 39:24Speaker 10: With the animals, they don't let you just run over
- 39:26Speaker 10: to the cave and touch me and right write and
- 39:29Speaker 10: do all of that stuff.
- 39:30Speaker 1: They now the governor, I'm sure governor was Luisiani's been
- 39:34Speaker 1: an elected officials, got to be a learned and a
- 39:36Speaker 1: stupid man. He know what they say about animal cruelty.
- 39:39Speaker 1: He say he wanted it back. So does he care
- 39:41Speaker 1: more about LSU than he cares about animal rights and safety? Yes,
- 39:47Speaker 1: obviously obviously. So why they not mad at him?
- 39:51Speaker 10: Well, no, no, they're mad at him. They're mad at
- 39:53Speaker 10: the whole the whole situation, whole situation. And you know
- 39:57Speaker 10: they Peter and has been fighting a long time time
- 40:00Speaker 10: to remove the live and mascot. And that's why I
- 40:03Speaker 10: said it's still on the sideline. They still bring bevo.
- 40:07Speaker 9: Uh.
- 40:07Speaker 10: They were telling the Colorado about two years ago that
- 40:12Speaker 10: it was in humane to make the buffalo sprint down
- 40:16Speaker 10: the field. And that's why I thought buffalo's that's what
- 40:18Speaker 10: they like to do.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Because remember why people asked to give them a homeware
- 40:23Speaker 1: the buffalo? What rome they just say wear a buffalo
- 40:26Speaker 1: chill or the buffalo stand? There was never any reference
- 40:30Speaker 1: to buffalo being still.
- 40:31Speaker 10: And once again, have you ever seen the coat on
- 40:35Speaker 10: those buffaloes there?
- 40:36Speaker 1: Like the rich, those are the one that people gonna
- 40:43Speaker 1: we hunt first, you know what I'm saying? First they
- 40:47Speaker 1: the healthy, delicious looking, Yes, because we have to keep
- 40:51Speaker 1: in mind people do still eat the Actually the people
- 40:54Speaker 1: they always look like they're in trouble are the people
- 40:56Speaker 1: in the carts behind them. Yeah, that dude be scared.
- 40:59Speaker 1: They be looking like.
- 41:00Speaker 10: Man because they don't really seem like they have a
- 41:02Speaker 10: control of how fast Today these animals have decided to go.
- 41:09Speaker 1: We hoping to get them between about fifteen and eighteen.
- 41:12Speaker 1: He decided about twenty seven to thirty. And now the
- 41:16Speaker 1: dude running with him is just praying for me because
- 41:18Speaker 1: he stopped holding on just around on the board.
- 41:21Speaker 10: And if you scared of Peter said, I personally I
- 41:26Speaker 10: enjoyed Omar Bradley Bean. They brought him out, they had
- 41:29Speaker 10: the spotlights on him. He was I mean, he was
- 41:31Speaker 10: laying there with his big palls and they had a
- 41:33Speaker 10: gold bucket of water over here and some food, and
- 41:36Speaker 10: he was looking That's what I'm saying, like he had
- 41:38Speaker 10: been anticipating one day he was gonna be able to
- 41:41Speaker 10: catch Abama LSU game right right.
- 41:45Speaker 1: And now, as far as Peter's concerned.
- 41:46Speaker 10: Very few people ever get a sideline ticket because it's
- 41:50Speaker 10: too expensive.
- 41:52Speaker 1: We don't want to make it sound like they're rare.
- 41:53Speaker 1: We just can't afford them. And this is the thing now,
- 41:56Speaker 1: as far as fear, Peter, I got a cousin married
- 41:58Speaker 1: a woman from San Anto.
- 42:00Speaker 10: Your name, Peter.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I'm scared of hut But the animal people, now, I
- 42:04Speaker 1: think they should allow schools to make that decision.
- 42:07Speaker 10: You're not the boss of l s U.
- 42:10Speaker 1: If their student body and their state says okay, leave
- 42:14Speaker 1: them people be. I'm not afraid. I'm for the animals there.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I think it's a great thing.
- 42:20Speaker 10: DJ.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not afraid of them.
- 42:23Speaker 10: I like the mascot.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I missed Chief riding.
- 42:28Speaker 11: They stopped them from riding in the Florida State.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Probably back the man riding back out on the horse.
- 42:32Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm going forward. The flame and the complex. It's
- 42:37Speaker 10: not even a cage. The complex where they got Mike
- 42:40Speaker 10: the seven. Oh, it's a complex.
- 42:42Speaker 1: It's not a it's very They a sanitary. What is
- 42:47Speaker 1: it called a complex? Sanctuary? A sanctuary. Seymore the Golden
- 42:56Speaker 1: Egle for Southern miss owns a block more from Yeah,
- 43:03Speaker 1: he's a Golden Egle and he owns he owns an
- 43:05Speaker 1: entire block of Southern missing property. And he don't need
- 43:09Speaker 1: the whole block. Look, he was that, he just got it. Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: Tiger the Eagle for Auburn. His cage is made for
- 43:18Speaker 1: like a family of thirty. Yeah, and it's just him
- 43:22Speaker 1: and it's just him in there to where you have
- 43:24Speaker 1: to go over to it and look is he so big?
- 43:28Speaker 1: Because yeah, they got a living great, Yeah, is he
- 43:32Speaker 1: in there? And then you know he's in there when
- 43:34Speaker 1: you see the rabbits in the corner shivering, you be like, yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 1: they bring him that live, that live fresh meat, that
- 43:41Speaker 1: that that venison and let it run across and all
- 43:44Speaker 1: the kids go, look, it's a lesson all the way around.
- 43:50Speaker 10: We got science, we got nature. Arthur Blank, Uh the
- 43:55Speaker 10: architect of the Falcons and the United. The Atlanta un
- 44:00Speaker 10: pulling off a big win yes against Enter Miami, knocking
- 44:05Speaker 10: line of Messi out of the playoffs on Friday. Shocker
- 44:10Speaker 10: that the au United are still around uh and going
- 44:13Speaker 10: to the third round of the Men's Pro Soccer League.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Because they had to turnover as a coach and some
- 44:22Speaker 1: issues and a lot of people thought that they were
- 44:24Speaker 1: going to be wounded, but they have come back nicely.
- 44:27Speaker 10: But the author Blank family is being sued by two
- 44:30Speaker 10: flight attendants who work their private jets, saying that they
- 44:35Speaker 10: were overworked and not paid over time. Before we get
- 44:41Speaker 10: deep into this, I would imagine these young ladies have
- 44:47Speaker 10: to sign an NDA. Anyone that right works private jet industry.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Stop stop stop stop preempting my comment because that's the
- 44:57Speaker 1: first thing I was thinking, like, what about the n DA,
- 45:00Speaker 1: But we've seen it. Stormy Daniels signed the NDA, and
- 45:03Speaker 1: I told you we had that conversation. Once that went
- 45:06Speaker 1: down the tubes, it's a whole bunch of people came
- 45:08Speaker 1: out with I'm finna get paid now because we don't honor.
- 45:12Speaker 10: And we'll talk about it on the other side of
- 45:14Speaker 10: the break. The young ladies are saying they were overworked,
- 45:18Speaker 10: meaning that the responsibilities that they had taken on, like
- 45:24Speaker 10: having to go get dry cleaning or going to run
- 45:28Speaker 10: food errands, they hadn't expected. And then they say they
- 45:33Speaker 10: worked some trips went over However, you know, for whatever reason,
- 45:38Speaker 10: they never got there. Over time, they have outed mister
- 45:42Speaker 10: Blank to say that he was dating the third flight attendant,
- 45:49Speaker 10: so she worked less hours and he supposed to. And
- 45:56Speaker 10: that's where when when they got around to that, that's
- 45:58Speaker 10: when I was like, Wow, where's the ndia? I don't
- 46:00Speaker 10: think you both, you know, one of the founding fathers
- 46:05Speaker 10: of Home Depot.
- 46:05Speaker 1: You talk too much?
- 46:07Speaker 10: And who he dating?
- 46:08Speaker 22: Right?
- 46:09Speaker 1: And in the non judgment away because we didn't all dated.
- 46:12Speaker 1: The woman didn't work for a woman that's been working
- 46:19Speaker 1: for us. If she understands she didn't get the job
- 46:22Speaker 1: because of that's why.
- 46:24Speaker 10: That's why you make enough money to own a private
- 46:26Speaker 10: ship or two. That's what I'm saying.
- 46:29Speaker 1: What is that?
- 46:30Speaker 22: What is the sense?
- 46:31Speaker 11: Sounds like a company intended?
- 46:35Speaker 1: What is this country to serve?
- 46:39Speaker 22: You know, to bring some love here today?
- 46:56Speaker 4: We don't need to escalate.
- 47:01Speaker 10: Don't go away?

- 50:16Speaker 10: And then just wait right to this woe shock shower.
- 50:19Speaker 10: I'm the spy shock Win Candy, Big Kenny, the funny
- 50:21Speaker 10: man himself, DJ Talk in the Building, the bad Producer.
- 50:24Speaker 10: Good morning, it is Monday, Monday Night football. The Miami Dolphins,
- 50:30Speaker 10: who are in desperation mode, need a big win.
- 50:34Speaker 1: I say that.
- 50:34Speaker 10: Because of the success of how the Bills are playing.
- 50:38Speaker 10: They're in the same division. That's a lot of teams
- 50:40Speaker 10: in the AFC. We're gonna get around to the football action.
- 50:43Speaker 10: But when you talk about the Chiefs at nine to zero,
- 50:45Speaker 10: you talk about how great the Baltimore Ravens show that
- 50:49Speaker 10: they can be at different times. Buffalo, the Stealers, these
- 50:55Speaker 10: teams you start. That's four of the spots right there.
- 50:59Speaker 10: So now you're still aren't even get into that time
- 51:01Speaker 10: of year where if whatever you're gonna do, Dolphins better
- 51:04Speaker 10: start doing it because they were predicted to do some
- 51:06Speaker 10: big things.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Nothing I haven't.
- 51:09Speaker 10: Seen it yet.
- 51:10Speaker 1: I'm not saying that not gonna do it. I'm just
- 51:12Speaker 1: saying that you're gonna do it. You might need to
- 51:14Speaker 1: do it now.
- 51:14Speaker 10: Yeah, we're down to that last eight nine games and
- 51:18Speaker 10: you gotta start getting some victories here to catch up
- 51:22Speaker 10: based on who is playing in your division. So the
- 51:26Speaker 10: Dolphins taking on the Rams, that Rams division is a
- 51:30Speaker 10: little more clouded. They you know, forty nine Ers, Arizona,
- 51:35Speaker 10: those teams out there. So we were talking about mister Blank,
- 51:40Speaker 10: the co founder of Home Depot. Remember one of his partners,
- 51:44Speaker 10: Bernie Marcus, passed away last week.
- 51:47Speaker 1: New Days gonna start snitching even got out of here,
- 51:51Speaker 1: they just start talking, I'm gone, I'm coming.
- 51:53Speaker 10: Video, I'm gone. At ninety five years old. God bless
- 51:58Speaker 10: them live the long an impactful life. Was mister Marcus
- 52:03Speaker 10: and mister Blank, owner of Atlanta United, the owner of
- 52:07Speaker 10: the Atlanta Falcons has a big, brand new hospital. And
- 52:13Speaker 10: maybe that's why they just couldn't keep driving by that
- 52:17Speaker 10: Arthur Blank Children's Hospital sign, which is huge.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Maybe you ain't gonna miss it. No, I ain't even
- 52:24Speaker 1: get no overtime.
- 52:25Speaker 10: It's a whole. And you know what you makes you
- 52:29Speaker 10: want to have an illness just to go over there
- 52:30Speaker 10: to see. And that's going on. And this is the
- 52:32Speaker 10: truth about it. Those flight attendants probably were cool. It's
- 52:37Speaker 10: the people around now put that idea in the head.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Girl. I was at his hospital today.
- 52:42Speaker 10: In the suit against the Blank family office, Adele Pearson
- 52:46Speaker 10: and Samantha Carlisle unless they were improperly classified as exempt
- 52:50Speaker 10: from overtime pay under the Fair Laborer Standards Act, The
- 52:56Speaker 10: women say in the lawsuit that they work more than
- 52:59Speaker 10: forty hours nearly every work week, and sometimes as much
- 53:03Speaker 10: as ninety hours. There's different parts you can read about
- 53:09Speaker 10: this situation. They were paid salaries around one sixty in
- 53:17Speaker 10: twenty twenty three, but they felt like they were supposed
- 53:22Speaker 10: to work twenty five days a month. And I think
- 53:27Speaker 10: they were saying that was only supposed to be like
- 53:29Speaker 10: twenty days. So it's different little particulars. In this lawsuit,
- 53:33Speaker 10: my biggest thing was them having the ability to talk
- 53:39Speaker 10: about personal matters, and that's why I asked about the NBA. Now,
- 53:45Speaker 10: if you're working overtime and those kind of things and
- 53:48Speaker 10: you feel like you never got compensated or you didn't
- 53:51Speaker 10: understand the right of it, then you're supposed to go
- 53:57Speaker 10: take your company. But if you're there's a I guess
- 54:01Speaker 10: they want the Fair Label Standards Act. They don't want
- 54:03Speaker 10: to be exempt. But if I guess exempt would fall
- 54:07Speaker 10: under you're not under the same laws as a flight
- 54:10Speaker 10: attendant of airline.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Right right, there is no you don't have a a
- 54:19Speaker 1: standard scale. Like when these women say that they I'm
- 54:22Speaker 1: assuming that these were women. When these flight attendants say
- 54:25Speaker 1: that they worked, was it forty hours a week flying?
- 54:29Speaker 10: Where like, well, they work for the family, So it's
- 54:34Speaker 10: not just okay, okay, that their service right, they're there.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Well, and again I know that there are certain labor
- 54:43Speaker 1: laws that they are Oftentimes people who work in the
- 54:46Speaker 1: industry under who were governed by those laws don't know.
- 54:49Speaker 1: So again, maybe somebody came to be because you could
- 54:52Speaker 1: be getting There are jobs that pay over.
- 54:54Speaker 10: Like you know, if you're in a football game or
- 54:58Speaker 10: any sport, you don't get extra money for overtime.
- 55:03Speaker 1: So in comedy they don't give your money. No, in comedy,
- 55:07Speaker 1: you don't get extra money because the show runs late.
- 55:09Speaker 10: Yeah, So you can be in a corporate job where
- 55:13Speaker 10: you don't get paid overtime.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Right because you salary. Yeah, you salary salary.
- 55:17Speaker 10: So that before I'm saying, is that something they must
- 55:20Speaker 10: be trying to fight.
- 55:21Speaker 1: They're trying to fight that. It sounds like that's what
- 55:22Speaker 1: it is.
- 55:23Speaker 11: Because if their salary employees and they're saying that they
- 55:26Speaker 11: were supposed to only have forty hours a week pertaining
- 55:29Speaker 11: to their job to get that salary, and because they
- 55:31Speaker 11: were going overtime, they're not because they're salary employee, they're
- 55:35Speaker 11: not allowed to earn that overtime pay. So they felt
- 55:37Speaker 11: that they're they're compensated to and.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Sir, I will tell you that that is not complete information.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I one of the last corporate positions I had, I
- 55:47Speaker 1: was a salaried employee of a restaurant chain. Anything over
- 55:51Speaker 1: eighty hours in a pay period, I didn't know, but
- 55:55Speaker 1: I was supposed to get overtime. When I found it out,
- 55:58Speaker 1: I went to a labor attorney who got, well, I've
- 56:02Speaker 1: worked salary in corporate and.
- 56:04Speaker 11: Then' I'm saying, they got me.
- 56:08Speaker 1: But what you but we gotta go to break.
- 56:12Speaker 10: What I'm saying is each job has different independent yes,
- 56:18Speaker 10: and then each corporate job is independent and this job
- 56:21Speaker 10: there over time is not right.
- 56:23Speaker 1: That this is working for my family. Maybe that is
- 56:27Speaker 1: part of what we say. There will be no one.
- 56:29Speaker 11: That's what I'm saying, Like, once you salaried employe, that
- 56:32Speaker 11: that separates you as a manager versus an hourly employee.
- 56:35Speaker 11: I mean you are management, you salary. You're here because
- 56:39Speaker 11: we trust you. You may not have to work those
- 56:41Speaker 11: forty hours this week. You might say, hey, mister blank,
- 56:44Speaker 11: I gotta go take and do this and do this.
- 56:46Speaker 11: Are they going to recoup any of that from you?
- 56:47Speaker 11: That's what I'm telling you in that in the law
- 56:50Speaker 11: of that state, That's what it will be. Back with
- 56:54Speaker 11: more of the sports Jock Show.
- 56:58Speaker 33: Start I work, not fever pictures, bringing me up a dog. Finally, yeah,
- 57:07Speaker 33: I can see you, Chrystal Green, go ahead and sell
- 57:11Speaker 33: me out of an Alioship Base so Norway.

- 59:55Speaker 10: the show to Miami Dolphins. Second on the Rams Tonight
- 59:58Speaker 10: Monday Night Football. All Happy Veterans Day to all our
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: veterans out there who protect our freedoms. Yesterday NFL took
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: front and center. Carolina started it off over in Germany.
- 1:00:19Speaker 10: In NFL was in Munich. The Carolina Panthers can't do
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: a lot of winning on American soil, but they got
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: him a big victory yesterday twenty to seventeen. Our man
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: Daniel Jones for the Giants. Maybe need a new city,
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: maybe need a little city. You see why they drafted
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: him as far as the physical, but it seems to
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: be what's going on from the neck up just is
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: not clicking in the situation he's in. With these guys,
- 1:00:52Speaker 10: You're always thinking, maybe eventually you can get around to
- 1:00:55Speaker 10: a geno Smith who's become more of a productive quarterback,
- 1:00:59Speaker 10: or a Bay or made feel Remember these guys were
- 1:01:01Speaker 10: top round and sometimes it's the pressure. As I said,
- 1:01:06Speaker 10: Tom Brady, the Great Tom Brady is always preaching since
- 1:01:09Speaker 10: he retired that some of these guys, most of the
- 1:01:12Speaker 10: approach needs to be more of sit and watch and
- 1:01:16Speaker 10: learn because they have so little playing time in college
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: that that's really what he's basing it on. You know,
- 1:01:24Speaker 10: the Peyton Manning's the Tom Brady era. Even though Tom
- 1:01:27Speaker 10: didn't play, he was there for four years. He was
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: in a system, you switching teams, and it's just that
- 1:01:34Speaker 10: Dan Jones a lot of these guys all the way back.
- 1:01:37Speaker 10: The first one that sticks in my mind is a
- 1:01:38Speaker 10: Mitch Trubisky from Carolina a couple of years ago, where
- 1:01:43Speaker 10: he had basically one season, and then you get him
- 1:01:47Speaker 10: to the league and now you're throwing you're talking about people.
- 1:01:49Speaker 10: And let me say this too, because I get into
- 1:01:51Speaker 10: a lot of friends, and I told Big Kenny for
- 1:01:53Speaker 10: the show, I'm starting to lose a lot of friends
- 1:01:55Speaker 10: because y'all don't even understand football. Pro sports is the best.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: That means that corner, that safety is just as great
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: and qualified as the quarterback.
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: I know, we say the quarterback name more and more
- 1:02:16Speaker 10: so it makes it seems like, but we're all professionals,
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: we're all the elite.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Everybody gets a check. You sum up some bad plays
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: just based on that man.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: Man get a check too.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: At some point he gonna beat me. He's supposed to
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: make a play.
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: That's why he's here. We're paid to make a play. Yes,
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: you're acting like they don't get The quarterback and the
- 1:02:47Speaker 10: receiver get a check, but the cornerback don't.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Get paid now and he needs money. Well, les at
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: my check. Eric Ramsey making about twenty million a year,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and he need that. You know why because he eleade that.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: That's what you do. So when you listen to people
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: talk everything and I'm like, but everybody's out here great,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: even the backups.
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: There are no backups in pro sports. There's just guys
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: that ain't played today. When you dress a football team out,
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: the only person on a Sunday that is not going
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: to play at some point is the backup quarterback. Everybody
- 1:03:23Speaker 10: else gets in the game because there's a part of
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: the game called special teams. You make the team as
- 1:03:30Speaker 10: the third, fourth, fifth receiver. Off of special teams, the
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: third receiver, the fourth receiver. They are typically the punt returners.
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: That's what they do.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: So when you go in the game yesterday, Falcons and
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the guy, I'm like, no, I think the Saints, Man,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: you crazy, The Saints got all these injuries. I say, man,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: you know this the pros Pro plus, it's it's a.
- 1:03:53Speaker 10: Division game, you know, for one game, for one game,
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: I really keep this receiver just for that one or
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: two games a year. Where this got hurt, it's because
- 1:04:02Speaker 10: being a backup is really more of not You have
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: the talent of the starter.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: You're just not as consistent, not as consistent, that's it
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: all you are.
- 1:04:13Speaker 10: You have the same skill set. The guy that backed
- 1:04:16Speaker 10: me up was just as talented as me. That's why
- 1:04:19Speaker 10: I never let you see him and Mercy people that
- 1:04:24Speaker 10: one man.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Man, I'll go out here with one of them.
- 1:04:26Speaker 10: I'm not gonna let you see this guy because the
- 1:04:29Speaker 10: only reason these three guys are the backup. They're not
- 1:04:33Speaker 10: as consistent as me. I'm gonna consistently give you this
- 1:04:40Speaker 10: kind of play.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He keeps sporadically going in and I eight touchdown, but
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw and that's all. That's all the difference
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: tends to be when you get to the pros. I
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: just need to get that off because people be I'm like, well,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: what do you I don't get it. They would like to,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I think, and this is just from the people that
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I've been around. A lot of people would like to
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: believe that the backups performance quality equals theirs. Like I
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: could I could be a backup too. No, you couldn't.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: You could be a backup. That dude is way better
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: than you. And that's how they try and portray backups like,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: oh man, I could get out there and do that,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: and you really could not. No, you really.
- 1:05:21Speaker 10: Like I always shold the guys at the barbershop, you
- 1:05:24Speaker 10: couldn't guard Jeff Tigue either. They be in there telling
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: about oh Man, d man, we don't none of us
- 1:05:29Speaker 10: stand a chance on his Jeff t No, that's why
- 1:05:34Speaker 10: he's in the NBA.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: If we could stop Jeff t we be in the NBA.
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: Do you and we're not right? And this is the thing.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: And do you think Jeff Tige was like in line
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: for people who wanted to get into the NBA, and
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: everybody in front of him was just like not today,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: go home. No, he urged his way onto the court.
- 1:05:53Speaker 10: The best game of the weekend happened on Thursday. Wow,
- 1:05:58Speaker 10: as I predicted, it was gonna be a division game.
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: That's the part of the year we've reached. Throw out
- 1:06:03Speaker 10: the records. Division game. People are more familiar with each other,
- 1:06:09Speaker 10: not just on the field, but the organizations. It has
- 1:06:13Speaker 10: just that little rivalry part that's why teams and coaches
- 1:06:18Speaker 10: and owners don't want to just get rid of the vision.
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: Then you completely removed that little bit of extra tension
- 1:06:27Speaker 10: that happens because it's a division game. The Bengals thirty four,
- 1:06:32Speaker 10: the Ravens thirty five. Both quarterbacks. Wow, great game. Wow,
- 1:06:39Speaker 10: I mean you came to see it. And fortnight they
- 1:06:42Speaker 10: both showed you. Both offenses. I think Jamar Chase just
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: scored again. I mean talking about unguardable fortnight. Were they
- 1:06:55Speaker 10: playing defense when he was catching the ball? Don't say
- 1:06:59Speaker 10: like it.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: The only thing he messed up with.
- 1:07:02Speaker 10: I don't like the little hot dog and where he
- 1:07:05Speaker 10: caught the one and then ran down and just wouldn't
- 1:07:07Speaker 10: go in the end zone. It was too It was
- 1:07:10Speaker 10: too perfect of a play to ended with that. Jamar,
- 1:07:14Speaker 10: you're a superstar. That little bit that took you back
- 1:07:18Speaker 10: down like you hadn't been there before. Act like you'd
- 1:07:21Speaker 10: go do the little what's the dance they like to Doddy, Yo,
- 1:07:25Speaker 10: give it to him, give it to him.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: They know they couldn't catch it. They gave up twenty
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: yards ago.
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: He was running down the sideline them guys wasn't even
- 1:07:35Speaker 10: running over them. And this man is gone once, Tyrek,
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: he'll get some step on you. You wait, you what
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: you got? You hoping he pulled a hamstring, but you
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: weren't gonna catch him. But Jamar Chase. This was one
- 1:07:46Speaker 10: of the better games all year that I've seen Lamar Jackson.
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: Lamar Jackson is killing y'all with the simple using the
- 1:07:54Speaker 10: rules of the NFL, and you're just gonna have to
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: take the gamble. The two things that him and Patrick
- 1:08:03Speaker 10: Mahomes set the defense up with. If you ever notice
- 1:08:08Speaker 10: they scrambled to the sideline, they hit you with a
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: little pump. Think you'll ever know they run to the
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: sideline and then they start running up. What does that
- 1:08:18Speaker 10: do to the defense? They start pulling up because they're
- 1:08:22Speaker 10: so scared. Yeah that if they don't time it right.
- 1:08:27Speaker 10: And he stepped out of bounds, that's another fifteen yard.
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: So you all see him all kind of pull up
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: and forget well, Lamar Jackson run full three. He just
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: start tiptooning and then he let the know he kind
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: of relaxed his body and the other defender be like,
- 1:08:44Speaker 10: I ain't gonna get that fifteen yard penalty, and then
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: next thing you know, he accelerates he in the zone.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Now, yesterday there was a play like that. I'm trying
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: to think of which game it was in, but quarterbacks
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: scrambled outside the pocket and looked like he was going
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: out of bound, and then he turned and he cut
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: off and he started going. And then when they tackled him,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: everybody was like on some hitting him out of bounds
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: or something. No, he was in and this dude was going.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: They had to stop him and hit him. But you
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: have to give some sort of benefit of the doubt.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: And in the NFL, that hesitation is the difference between
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the first down.
- 1:09:21Speaker 10: And those guys are using it because they know that
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: the whole rules that separate the quarterback, they'll almost make
- 1:09:28Speaker 10: up a penalty.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Yes, and I saw it yesterday. I saw them go,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: oh no, man, he deserved that penalty.
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: Another great game yesterday was up in DC. The Commanders
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: and the Steelers did battle, twenty eight to twenty seven,
- 1:09:42Speaker 10: Stealers beating the Commanders in a game that brought a
- 1:09:46Speaker 10: lot of excitement the Washington organization. The fans were trying
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: to keep the terrible towels out, but it didn't work. Funny,
- 1:09:57Speaker 10: it didn't work. I don't know what they tried to implement.
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: But if you don't have it, first of all, you're
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: not a stealer. If you don't want a terrible talk.
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: So any of you out there to keep confessing and
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: telling professing that you.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Are no, don't have a terrible tower. They don't have
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: a terrible towel.
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: That ain't this, This ain't that. And I'm talking about
- 1:10:19Speaker 10: a terrible tower from Pittsburgh, not Amazon online. If you
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: ain't went to Pittsburgh and got you from the.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Stove, from the store, off the ground in the parking
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: lot of the stadium, You're like, what is the like
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: your color?
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: It's like the people who pledge while they're in college graduated.
- 1:10:40Speaker 10: You grad.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: You ain't got no hours, You ain't cross the sand,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: grad Steve. So, if you're getting it mailed and you're
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: catching that fanatic special and you a grad chapter, I'm
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: gonna laugh about that for two more footballs.
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: You are steal You are not. So if you want
- 1:11:08Speaker 10: to be a full one, you should get you a
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: connecting flight at least through the Pittsburgh airport.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Get off the.
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: Plane on your way to wherever, and get you what.
- 1:11:19Speaker 10: I'm just letting you know how the ruins of this go.
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: But that was a good game. The terrible towel has
- 1:11:23Speaker 10: to actually come from Pittsburgh.
- 1:11:25Speaker 11: Pittsburgh, not through the man. Now if somebody just lived there,
- 1:11:30Speaker 11: they said it to you.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: You have to get it all, all this frog going around. Okay,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I got mine off Amazon, and so that you don't
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: eat back, we'll be back. More sports show.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Maybe just a fool kill away or.
- 1:12:01Speaker 13: Of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dantidius coming up next.
- 1:12:07Speaker 19: Came with remote control.
- 1:12:09Speaker 39: You know, you could hit pause when you needed to,
- 1:12:12Speaker 39: or hit rewant like that time you knock down that
- 1:12:15Speaker 39: wasp's nest.
- 1:12:18Speaker 40: Or that time you forgot to roll up your windows
- 1:12:20Speaker 40: in the car wash. Fantastic, Yeah, or remote control would
- 1:12:25Speaker 40: have come in handy then. Well, life doesn't always give
- 1:12:28Speaker 40: you time to change the outcome, but pre diabetes does.

- 1:13:03Speaker 39: by the AD Council and its pre Diabetes Awareness partners.
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: life insurance.
- 1:13:17Speaker 41: When I was twenty five, me and my wife are
- 1:13:19Speaker 41: just getting started with our family and thought we live forever.
- 1:13:21Speaker 41: Life insurance, Well, it's the last thing on my mind.
- 1:13:23Speaker 10: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:13:27Speaker 41: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:13:28Speaker 41: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:13:30Speaker 41: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:13:32Speaker 41: the insurance informant.
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:13:39Speaker 41: Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:13:42Speaker 41: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: The answer is easy.
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: Log on Benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits orbills
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: dot com.
- 1:14:08Speaker 36: Have you noticed bad behavior has become normalized at interscholastic
- 1:14:11Speaker 36: athletic events.
- 1:14:13Speaker 19: Some fan seem angry, they.
- 1:14:15Speaker 36: Lack civility toward one another. Some even get aggressive and unruly.
- 1:14:21Speaker 10: Time out.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 1:14:24Speaker 19: This has to stop.
- 1:14:26Speaker 36: Let's not forget school sports aren't just about winning, and
- 1:14:30Speaker 36: they're definitely not an excuse to take your frustrations out
- 1:14:32Speaker 36: on the official or the opponent. They're about teaching lessons
- 1:14:36Speaker 36: like perseverance, respect and empathy so students can learn and.
- 1:14:41Speaker 15: Grow as people, not just as players.
- 1:14:44Speaker 36: We all have a role to play in setting a
- 1:14:46Speaker 36: good example for our students and teaching them these important values.
- 1:14:51Speaker 36: So fans, it's time to step up your game and
- 1:14:53Speaker 36: behave positively at interscholastic athletic events in Georgia.
- 1:14:58Speaker 13: This message presented by the gh Yes SAY and the
- 1:15:00Speaker 13: Georgia Athletic Directors Association.
- 1:15:27Speaker 10: WELCO. Back to this boy.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Shock show, I'm in this sport shock Wayne game. The
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: good morning to you out there listening. Land.

- 1:15:50Speaker 1: And I just want to say that someone did share
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: with me that this one clock in thing for me
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: has ruined the birthday segment for them.
- 1:15:59Speaker 10: It's what they said.

- 1:16:13Speaker 10: Places that don't accept cash has messed up my aura.

- 1:16:53Speaker 10: of injuries we've had that they would bring him out,
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: but he stepped away from the game to go coach
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: high school. He's thirty two. Zach Erks the tighty nd

- 1:18:43Speaker 1: I'm saying now because you know you can't. You can't,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: you can't who you love. And we're both married, so
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: we know which one, don't. I'm going to Bay with
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: a Hathaway. I'm clocking in for sixty shades of debauchery.
- 1:18:57Speaker 10: That's what you got a point of reference.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I take life. You know, she ain't take them roles
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: just because she needed to roll.
- 1:19:04Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Somebody gonna tie me up.
- 1:19:07Speaker 10: I'm doing that. So yeah, and have to wait and
- 1:19:09Speaker 10: after way, it's forty two years of age. So let
- 1:19:14Speaker 10: me see the bad producer was going to go with
- 1:19:19Speaker 10: Tanya Harding.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, just telling you who he is. I know his mind. Yeah,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: he wants a woman that will, right, he want a
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: woman that a will scheme to undermine somebody that is
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: purely his type. The bakery.
- 1:19:38Speaker 10: He would he would pull her out of the role
- 1:19:40Speaker 10: from the actor who portrayed the character. His most famous role,
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: candy Man, has passed away at sixty nine years old.
- 1:19:50Speaker 10: Tony Todd, you've seen him in different movies, probably just
- 1:19:54Speaker 10: didn't know him att first, but he played the role
- 1:19:57Speaker 10: of candy Man, which is a horror f kind of
- 1:20:01Speaker 10: with Freddy Krueger and Mike Myers and those kind of people.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: It was. It was the hood version of the candy
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Oh you know, Freddy Kruger. Freddy Krueger, Kruger was Kruger
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: was the suburbs. Everything after the subway train ended, That's
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: where That's what I'm saying, That's where Freddy started to
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: terror ride. But if you was on the sixty third
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Street line, yeah, candy Man was common.
- 1:20:29Speaker 10: Sixty nine years old, was candy Man. How many of
- 1:20:33Speaker 10: those did they make?
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Because if you ever look at the Nightmare on Elm
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Streets and the Halloweens and the what was the other
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: one Friday the thirteenth, there's like fifteen or sixteen, but
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I've only seen the first two or three. Candy Man
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: had more than two or three movies come out, but
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I only I believe what's familiar with the one?
- 1:20:53Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, we can research it, but I only
- 1:20:56Speaker 10: thought he made two. Okay, I think they made other
- 1:20:59Speaker 10: candy Man, but oh he is right here.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: I see four candy Man ninety two, candy Man Fell
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Well to Something candy Man Day of the Something Else,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: and then candy Man twenty twenty one was Todd?
- 1:21:11Speaker 10: Was Tony Todd always the candy Man?
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not sure. And see that's something that
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: they do. They'll change characters and change storylines.
- 1:21:19Speaker 10: They just keep the franchise franchise agoin but with yeah,
- 1:21:25Speaker 10: just like I'm quite sure what Friday the thirteen, whoever
- 1:21:28Speaker 10: was playing that Jason was not the same guy who
- 1:21:31Speaker 10: started it because they made what twenty seven being with
- 1:21:37Speaker 10: his face one time? Oh man, and he had a
- 1:21:40Speaker 10: mask on. Yeah, Jason, he didn't need no preciure suit.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: But he didn't he didn't need a He didn't need
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: a scuba mask when he was underwater either, So I guess.
- 1:21:48Speaker 10: Uh Soony Lee, Gabby Thomas, Nellie Corter Nellie Quarter is

- 1:22:29Speaker 10: Sony Thick, I'm sorry. You know what I'm saying. What

- 1:27:39Speaker 10: I ain't to have one woman, gotta have three.
- 1:27:41Speaker 21: One woman, just other woman down, one woman just to
- 1:27:45Speaker 21: lift me up.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: And I gotta at least have one woman on the side.

- 1:27:51Speaker 10: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm in the
- 1:27:53Speaker 10: Sports Shock Wayne g and D. Sounded like a Diddy song.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: It sounds like I'm finna go grab that from under
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: the front seat. I ain't got the look, Connor, but
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: be can out. Hey, we're gonna keep on all kill
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: that look, Connor I got. I'm gonna keep it, ain't
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: no sense and hold for the rest of the day.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: It sounds like a true Diddy song right there. Wow, Yo, guys.
- 1:28:22Speaker 10: Mike Tyson, the fifty eight year old is taking on
- 1:28:25Speaker 10: Jake Paul this Friday. No, we're from the fifteenth. Mike
- 1:28:29Speaker 10: Tyson has declared, what this is only two minute rounds,
- 1:28:34Speaker 10: seven rounds. They're only gonna do two minute rounds correct
- 1:28:38Speaker 10: fourteen minutes, It's something like that. They I know they
- 1:28:42Speaker 10: reduced the rounds and they reduced the time, So I
- 1:28:45Speaker 10: think it's gonna be seven two minute rounds.
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Normally it's ten to three, and this.
- 1:28:50Speaker 10: Is gonna be Friday only on Netflix only on Netflix
- 1:28:54Speaker 10: now now. A couple of questions.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: Mike is fifty eight. Jake Paul is how old germin
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: without thirty four? He got thirty six? No, I thought
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: he was in this twenties. I don't know.
- 1:29:08Speaker 10: I would have to to Paul.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: It's a couple of and it's logan, so one of
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: them I think is Jake Paul is the older one,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: I thought, so we'll have to look that up. My
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: other question would be, is there a connection fee for this?
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Am I gonna? I mean, I think it's just if
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: you have Netflika because I have Netflix, and I mean,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: but we know how that works. We didn't had it
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: already and they still here us with a connection fees.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: So will you administrated fee?
- 1:29:40Speaker 10: Will you watch sports?
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: Shot? Are you gonna watch it? No?
- 1:29:43Speaker 10: Twenty I'll be calling a game. The Georgia High School
- 1:29:47Speaker 10: Playoffs start this Friday, seven thirty or gp b H
- 1:29:52Speaker 10: it will be. I'll be calling the Valdosta versus Walton game.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: Okay, this Friday. So you're miss barn the state champions.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: They were runner up last year Walton, So you'll miss
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: this barn burner of fisticuffs. Yeah, I missed this.
- 1:30:08Speaker 11: Yeah, the twenty seven year old Jack Paul against the
- 1:30:11Speaker 11: fifty eight year old, fifty eight year old thirty one
- 1:30:14Speaker 11: years Are you gonna are either of you gonna watch?
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: No, I have no interest. I'm gonna be trying to
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: catch some I don't have any interest in it. I'm
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: trying to watch that. I guess I'm not.
- 1:30:25Speaker 10: Into the gimmicks stuff. And that's what I guess.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: I'm taking, like the temperature of the room in some
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: sort of random poll to ask you were like, who's
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: interested in this? Who will be tuning in?
- 1:30:37Speaker 10: You would have had a better chance with me having
- 1:30:40Speaker 10: this fight in its normal, efficient, official way, right, three rounds,
- 1:30:46Speaker 10: three minute rounds under the laws of boxing. Right, You
- 1:30:51Speaker 10: shaping it up to fit particulars means that it's not
- 1:30:54Speaker 10: real a boxing match. It's something you're just making a
- 1:30:58Speaker 10: spectacle of of trying to make money. I think Mike
- 1:31:02Speaker 10: Tyson is making like twenty million dollars and I'm not
- 1:31:04Speaker 10: knocking your hustle, do you, Mike?
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:31:07Speaker 10: But I don't need to watch when I watch boxing.
- 1:31:09Speaker 10: I want to watch boxing, you know, I want to
- 1:31:13Speaker 10: watch what actually is there.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: So, and I ain't judging you because we've all fake
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: stuff for money. I out we did not put on
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: the exhibition. All right now you thank you, sir.
- 1:31:28Speaker 10: I appreciate that. Do what else we have. Bronnie James
- 1:31:33Speaker 10: has been assigned to the G League. He played in
- 1:31:35Speaker 10: his first G League game for South Bay on Saturday.
- 1:31:41Speaker 10: Lebron his father Anthony Davis both in attendance tickets sol
- 1:31:47Speaker 10: out in the G League arena. It was what I
- 1:31:51Speaker 10: thought the Lakers would do with him at some point.
- 1:31:55Speaker 10: I think they have something that we haven't seen before,
- 1:32:00Speaker 10: and we want to set the rules up for something
- 1:32:04Speaker 10: that you've never seen. A son and a father on
- 1:32:07Speaker 10: the same team. The Lakers never have seen it. So
- 1:32:11Speaker 10: how do you get the best out of running? Is
- 1:32:17Speaker 10: the formula they're using kind of part time with the Lakers,
- 1:32:21Speaker 10: part time in the G League. That might be the way.
- 1:32:25Speaker 12: And the one thing that this is for Jock, the
- 1:32:27Speaker 12: one thing that they mentioned, they're the same plays, the
- 1:32:31Speaker 12: same defense. Everything is identical to how the Lakers are
- 1:32:36Speaker 12: running their offense now.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: And I think that one of the things that will
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: definitely do is when he's on the court. Well, first
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: of all, you said Lebron and Anthony Davis were both there.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: If Anthony Davis was dressed out, I got a problem
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: with that shove to know other games, ready to play.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: But on top of that, on the court with them
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: with the regular Lakers, people keep at asking what is
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: he contributing to the Lakers. But in the G League
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: it's easy to see his value. Stadium sold out, we
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: got plenty of people in the stands. It's a great
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: attraction and he's getting some development.
- 1:33:13Speaker 10: And different than the w NBA these guys, at least
- 1:33:17Speaker 10: on the South Bay team. And some of it could
- 1:33:19Speaker 10: be the company towing the line because they're affiliated with
- 1:33:24Speaker 10: the Lakers and you don't want to make hay, but
- 1:33:27Speaker 10: from what I heard, they genuinely like that Brnnie is
- 1:33:30Speaker 10: coming to pay play. It brings attention to them. It
- 1:33:34Speaker 10: makes more eyes that other teams are going to come.
- 1:33:39Speaker 10: You know, nobody wants to no matter what you are doing,
- 1:33:43Speaker 10: nobody wants to play in front of an audience of
- 1:33:46Speaker 10: twelve people. Ever, you can be at a local city
- 1:33:52Speaker 10: gym tournament and you're still hoping that a crowd of
- 1:33:55Speaker 10: people show up. You know, I've been to calling some
- 1:34:00Speaker 10: high school games and we have fear because you know,
- 1:34:04Speaker 10: in high school, a lot of people arrived late because
- 1:34:06Speaker 10: of all the traffic around Atlanta, but sometimes you I
- 1:34:09Speaker 10: was the other night it's either not cedar Row but
- 1:34:13Speaker 10: Carver Atlanta playing Hateville Charter, and we were getting scared
- 1:34:18Speaker 10: because when we went to shoot open about seven fifteen,
- 1:34:24Speaker 10: it might have been forty.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: People, sound like a Southern misgame. And we was like, man,
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: we have the pumpings out.
- 1:34:30Speaker 10: Did you sound like you know? We got Bunnie James
- 1:34:38Speaker 10: was the only jersey so in the lobby, so I'm
- 1:34:42Speaker 10: quite sure that was a hot selling item. But that
- 1:34:45Speaker 10: starts putting a spin on Maybe they'll sell some of
- 1:34:48Speaker 10: the other players jersey, but right now they don't have
- 1:34:52Speaker 10: an audience for that. Why would I put out jerseys
- 1:34:55Speaker 10: for this team if it ain't but twelve people showing up? Right,
- 1:35:00Speaker 10: everything is supplying to Manning, But if I hear the
- 1:35:03Speaker 10: game's so loud, man I could open up a whole
- 1:35:06Speaker 10: little Lakers shop in here, but it's not worth the
- 1:35:10Speaker 10: money if there's no fans in the stands. So that
- 1:35:12Speaker 10: is correct. I thought it was a great move. Will
- 1:35:16Speaker 10: Brunnie James as a mean bad producer keeps debating the
- 1:35:20Speaker 10: young man has not been in any games that were
- 1:35:23Speaker 10: not a blowout, and even in those he hasn't really
- 1:35:26Speaker 10: hit the court most of this season other than he's
- 1:35:31Speaker 10: the twelfth guy on the roster. Maybe they fill with
- 1:35:35Speaker 10: the last year or so with his dad. Maybe he
- 1:35:37Speaker 10: can learn more up here. I mean.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, when we're talking
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: about sports and entertainment, it works as long as we
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: keep them engaged. He could be in the G League
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: a season or two and then coming back to the
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Lakers would generate a whole bunch of eyes on the Lakers.
- 1:35:57Speaker 10: And when I go to the Hawk games to my left,
- 1:36:02Speaker 10: it's four guys in uniform I don't even know, and
- 1:36:07Speaker 10: when they get put in the game, I leave.
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: Because I know the game is over.
- 1:36:14Speaker 10: Them being in the game means that somebody has conceded
- 1:36:18Speaker 10: that this game is over.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: Pretty much pretty much, old boy that got in. So
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: what's his name? My man from the school, he just
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: put it me in. We gonna beat the traffic. But
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: Bronnie James at least is doing his part. As as
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: far as we were talking about his salary. Uh, if
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: he's able to get the games that he does play
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: in in the G League to sell out, that's paying
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: for itself. It really is over the little extra money
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: they was paying. It's paying for himself. So well, you know,
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: he got some real haters. Coach call form, I'm looking
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: at one of the haters. I was. I was, I
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: was like, did he really say, you know, he got
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: some hater like he thought he was in a confession
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: booth or something like.
- 1:37:07Speaker 11: George Carl basically said, is legion who's trying to create
- 1:37:10Speaker 11: news by showing Bronnie Bronnie is bad like everyone else.
- 1:37:15Speaker 11: They had put his stats up six points, five turnovers
- 1:37:18Speaker 11: for his three rebounds, two blocks, and then uh. Coach
- 1:37:22Speaker 11: Carl proceeded to say, dear Laker fans, I was not
- 1:37:24Speaker 11: kind towards you this season. I let my sports hate
- 1:37:27Speaker 11: go too far. I have a deep respect for the
- 1:37:29Speaker 11: Lakers to consider them the greatest sports team in the
- 1:37:31Speaker 11: past fifty years.
- 1:37:32Speaker 10: I'm sorry.
- 1:37:33Speaker 11: Let's live, Let's learn the love together, Okay, Coach Carl.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Now that that was on social media, yes, and now,
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: when I looked up Coach.
- 1:37:40Speaker 10: Carl's George George Carl's profile.
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: On social media, your picture came up oddly enough. So
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: so was that just you pretending to be George?
- 1:37:53Speaker 10: Is a word because it sounded a lot like you Sir,
- 1:37:57Speaker 10: and Dak Prescott is considering today he's going to see
- 1:38:01Speaker 10: a specialist of the Cowboys up in New York about
- 1:38:05Speaker 10: his hamstring injury. They're going to decide here today or
- 1:38:09Speaker 10: tomorrow about putting him on IR, which would basically shut
- 1:38:12Speaker 10: him down the rest of the season.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: They see that.
- 1:38:15Speaker 10: The injury would at least be about eight weeks, which
- 1:38:17Speaker 10: is the season anyway. But he feels like, if you
- 1:38:20Speaker 10: have the surgery, my big question as we go to break.
- 1:38:22Speaker 10: We talked about on the other side with some more
- 1:38:24Speaker 10: NFL news from games yesterday, where is Trey Lance doubts.
- 1:38:31Speaker 10: We'll be back with more to sports Shucks.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: I want to both.

- 1:40:11Speaker 22: An academic thing.
- 1:40:12Speaker 9: Even in all these years have passed, I still had
- 1:40:15Speaker 9: that longing to have my diploma.
- 1:40:17Speaker 35: At age thirty, Carissa finished her high school diploma.

- 1:40:40Speaker 10: I love nachos, loving everything. You might be buzzed.
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: You know what, I'd love a ride when it's time
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: to head out.

- 1:40:48Speaker 29: ride when it's time to go home. Buzz driving is
- 1:40:50Speaker 29: drunk driving. A message from NITZA and the AD Council.
- 1:40:53Speaker 5: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:40:56Speaker 5: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:41:00Speaker 5: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: life insurance.
- 1:41:04Speaker 41: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:41:06Speaker 41: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:41:08Speaker 41: forever life insurance.
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:41:11Speaker 10: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:41:14Speaker 41: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:41:16Speaker 41: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:41:18Speaker 41: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:41:20Speaker 41: the insurance informant.
- 1:41:21Speaker 5: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:41:24Speaker 5: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:41:27Speaker 41: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:41:29Speaker 41: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:41:31Speaker 5: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty.
- 1:41:33Speaker 5: Whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:41:36Speaker 5: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:41:38Speaker 5: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:41:41Speaker 5: two options.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: Benefits or bills.
- 1:41:44Speaker 5: Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today, benefits
- 1:41:48Speaker 5: or bills dot Com? That's benefits or bills dot com.
- 1:41:58Speaker 4: Way between.
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: Log on so you can see a sports chaint, I'll
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: sing even welcome back to the fore Shock show.
- 1:42:18Speaker 10: I'm the sword shock wing can de with a narrow
- 1:42:21Speaker 10: victory yesterday, the Chiefs stayed nine and zero blocking a
- 1:42:25Speaker 10: field goal attempt there uh with seconds to go in
- 1:42:29Speaker 10: the game, sixteen to fourteen, beating the Broncos. And that
- 1:42:34Speaker 10: is the new Chiefs. As I have said over the
- 1:42:36Speaker 10: last two three years, the one thing about the Chiefs,
- 1:42:40Speaker 10: as much as you want to say, is about high
- 1:42:42Speaker 10: flying and big scores.
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: That was about four years ago.
- 1:42:46Speaker 10: This chief team of the last two to three years
- 1:42:48Speaker 10: has been more of win the game, whatever has to
- 1:42:51Speaker 10: happen to win the game. Some days the offense shows
- 1:42:54Speaker 10: up and lights up the scoreboard, but they have become
- 1:42:58Speaker 10: more of a tea where the team wins the game
- 1:43:02Speaker 10: instead of just the stars. So sixteen fourteen, Chiefs are
- 1:43:07Speaker 10: nine and oh they take on the Buffalo Bills this
- 1:43:11Speaker 10: coming Sunday, New Orleans. As I said, beat the Falcons
- 1:43:16Speaker 10: twenty to seventeen. Down there in a desperation game for
- 1:43:21Speaker 10: the Saints. Lots of times. You gotta look, if the
- 1:43:23Speaker 10: Saints don't win this game, they have no chance. This
- 1:43:26Speaker 10: is what the coach was telling them all week. This
- 1:43:29Speaker 10: is the game. We have no playoff hopes at all
- 1:43:32Speaker 10: if we lose this game, because we would be four
- 1:43:36Speaker 10: games behind the Falcons. They already had lost to the Falcons.
- 1:43:40Speaker 10: The Falcons record is already they are already three four
- 1:43:43Speaker 10: games up in the record of the two division. Losses
- 1:43:47Speaker 10: to the same team puts you basically four games behind.
- 1:43:51Speaker 10: So it was desperation. They played like that. Avin Kamara
- 1:43:55Speaker 10: and Derek Carr doing enough defense, stood up and made
- 1:43:59Speaker 10: some plays in this game.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: Bad producer, Did you go down to the who that nation?
- 1:44:02Speaker 11: No, no, sir, just watching it on TV. But it was,
- 1:44:05Speaker 11: like I said, it was a good game. You would
- 1:44:06Speaker 11: respect this because it's a rivalry.
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: Everything's out the window. Cam Jordan on.
- 1:44:13Speaker 11: Thinking long in the two but he played yesterday like
- 1:44:17Speaker 11: you know, I guess he got up for the game,
- 1:44:20Speaker 11: just a lot of decisions on time, and I just
- 1:44:22Speaker 11: think we made everybody want to say that our kicker
- 1:44:24Speaker 11: is the problem.
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: He's won just as many games. So I don't know
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: why we're on Young Way Cool.
- 1:44:32Speaker 11: I don't want to you, but at Young Way Cool
- 1:44:35Speaker 11: now now this is But my thing is that yesterday
- 1:44:37Speaker 11: was a lot of timing situations, Like I felt like
- 1:44:40Speaker 11: that at the end of the game, we didn't understan
- 1:44:42Speaker 11: mean with a veteran quarterback as we have, and I
- 1:44:44Speaker 11: know we got some younger players, but the veteran the
- 1:44:46Speaker 11: clock time management wasn't there in the last two minutes.
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: The only thing, in my opinion that has been as
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: consistent as anything else on the Falcons organization has been
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: Young Way Coop. Yesterday was an anomaly. I don't know
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: what's going on with him, Like the sports jock said,
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: maybe it's a head up thing, a neck up thing.
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: But yesterday was not Young Way Cool. So people can
- 1:45:12Speaker 1: can feel some kind of way about this not being you.
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: I could see you missing one, But what did he
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: missed yesterday?
- 1:45:17Speaker 10: Three three three?
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: When this dude, I've not known him to miss that,
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: So that was one thing. But I thought It was
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: interesting watching the Falcons game with a Falcons fan and
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: he said, oh man, this is good. We're behind. We
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: need to stay behind and leave just enough time on
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: the clock for Kirk Cousins to come in and do
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: his work, that magic late thing, Like, what does that
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: mean with that magic late There's no guarantee that that's
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: going to happen. And I think sometimes the Falcons players
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: think like the fans, like we've got more time than
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: we actually have on the clock. There's something happening here
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: that other people don't see, but we could see it
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: in front of us, and that's they ran out of
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: time and effort yesterday. It's tough game, it was. It
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: was a good game. It was a good game though.
- 1:46:11Speaker 10: Twenty to seventeen, the Saints winning the thousands of six
- 1:46:14Speaker 10: and four. The Saints are three and seven. We'll be
- 1:46:17Speaker 10: back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:46:20Speaker 4: Now I want to ticket to anyway.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Maybe we make it too, Maybe together we can get.
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: Somewhere and the place is better.
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: I'm stune from Zoo, got nothing to lose.
- 1:46:32Speaker 4: Maybe we will make something.
- 1:46:34Speaker 10: Me myself, I got nothing to proove.

- 1:49:52Speaker 10: Welc back to this spoy Shock Show. I'm the sport
- 1:49:54Speaker 10: Shock wing Gandee once again. Zion Williamson of the Pelicans
- 1:49:58Speaker 10: finds himself out and definitely.
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: With a hamstring injury. Just a young man.
- 1:50:05Speaker 10: As I said, it seems to be not just Zion,
- 1:50:09Speaker 10: It just seems to be some unlucky people who play
- 1:50:14Speaker 10: sports that seem to always teeter with injuries.
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: It's like it's by the time you find out they're
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: on the field, you find out they're back on ir
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: You ever noticed that, Like it's just always like the
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: usual suspects and the Davis Zion Williamson. Uh name another one.
- 1:50:34Speaker 10: Glass. No, I'm serious, I'm serious.
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: We've we've jokingly barked their names up continuously about.
- 1:50:44Speaker 10: Mellow. There's some guys that just always seems like Jack Presscott,
- 1:50:51Speaker 10: well that's.
- 1:50:51Speaker 1: Been pretty durable.
- 1:50:53Speaker 10: Not then he will disappear. In f s U Florida State,
- 1:51:00Speaker 10: they're one and nine and the coaches decided to fire both.
- 1:51:05Speaker 10: Mike Marvel has fired both coordinators. So he's just gonna
- 1:51:09Speaker 10: start And that's just one of those Hey, I know
- 1:51:13Speaker 10: I'm gonna do it in two weeks. Anyway, let me
- 1:51:15Speaker 10: see if these two guys that I think are already
- 1:51:17Speaker 10: hear on my staff are capable. This is just this
- 1:51:21Speaker 10: is a live tryout. Hey, I'm gonna let you get
- 1:51:24Speaker 10: first crack at it. So, yeah, we're gonna post. We're
- 1:51:27Speaker 10: gonna post the job opening now. Yeah, you got two
- 1:51:29Speaker 10: games to kind of show me what it is that
- 1:51:32Speaker 10: what you do different, do different with this team. Uh
- 1:51:35Speaker 10: so always sometimes as it's good for a team, but
- 1:51:39Speaker 10: you knew somebody was leaving. Mike wasn't leaving. But the
- 1:51:43Speaker 10: pressure is always gonna fall on a couple of coaches,
- 1:51:46Speaker 10: and he got rid of those couple of coaches. I
- 1:51:49Speaker 10: love the little fan at the LSU game. It wasn't
- 1:51:53Speaker 10: just about Omar Bradley the Tiger. That was a little
- 1:51:55Speaker 10: fan during the opening.
- 1:51:57Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:51:58Speaker 10: He looked like he's about nine or ten. That little
- 1:52:00Speaker 10: poster says he's shooting his shot. Libby done, can I
- 1:52:05Speaker 10: have a kiss? It was she was on the ESPN
- 1:52:09Speaker 10: pre game, the little gymnasts. Yeah, little he was just
- 1:52:14Speaker 10: the wording he said, I'm shooting my shot.
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: Shooting my shot. I mean, but we've all made a
- 1:52:20Speaker 1: sign to show overman that we wanted some from right,
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: am I right?
- 1:52:25Speaker 10: Uh?
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: So that lets you see her impact at l s U.
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: Uh the SEC, who knows, man, just flip a coin.
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: And this is the problem when you deal with the SEC,
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: it's always the full conference. It's the full conference that
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: you know, because even when you look at the bottom
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: three or four teams Oklahoma or Auburn Florida, you imagine
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: whether they're not going to stay down there that long.
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: So this is just this year, next year, and then
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: two years from now they have rolls to the top
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: again and it's just a perpetual cycle trying to see
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: is back not logo. Tennessee was a stepping mat for
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: a couple of years, you know that kind of thing.
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: So big victory by Old Miss over u g A
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: on Saturday as well. I mean they really took him out.
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: And where was that defense that showed up in Texas?
- 1:53:19Speaker 10: It didn't travel at the going to travel it didn't.
- 1:53:24Speaker 10: It didn't travel at all to Old Miss. They did
- 1:53:28Speaker 10: nothing defensively in that game.
- 1:53:32Speaker 1: It was some people who uh used to be mad
- 1:53:36Speaker 1: at Old Miss till till Saturday and then they was
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: on somebody kind of a right. Shannon Sharp once again
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: on Friday, they were over.
- 1:53:44Speaker 10: At Moorhouse and Clark with the Show with Stephen A
- 1:53:50Speaker 10: first take. Shannon Sharp had a shower joke where Molly
- 1:53:56Speaker 10: Quinn was asking him about a feeling and he was like, well,
- 1:53:59Speaker 10: when I have that feeling, I go take a shower.
- 1:54:03Speaker 10: Why is all Shannon jokes seemed to be teetering around sex?
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: Anybody know I.
- 1:54:08Speaker 10: Had the sex tape out talking the Prime Time about
- 1:54:12Speaker 10: sexual position.
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: Like everything.
- 1:54:16Speaker 12: I think it's his podcast at night is bleeding into
- 1:54:20Speaker 12: his daytime character because that's all he does at night
- 1:54:25Speaker 12: with with.
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: With Club, he does a lot of uh different topics
- 1:54:33Speaker 1: to do you think that that's the same that's the
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: same night show? Right? No, no, No, He's got Uncle
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: with and then he does right his characters are running
- 1:54:48Speaker 1: bleeding together.
- 1:54:48Speaker 10: That's my point.
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: Now, now, this is this is something that I'd like
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: to ask. We've talked about basketball players who are really
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: good graphic cards. We've talked about football players who can
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: rap or who are ended up as surgeons. Do you
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: think that maybe somehow Shannon saw himself as this type
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: of person, always a ladies man, the sexual paramour, the
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: guy that knows how to get women, and you know,
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: the Castanova type. And now in his post football career,
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: this is who I'm gonna show these people. I know
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: how to get the women. The women know me, they
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: love when I do my thing. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:55:32Speaker 1: If you talk, if you watch any of his interviews.
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: He interviewed my friend Carlos Miller on his last episode
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: of Club Shaysha, and it was a lot of how
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: he is with women. It was like he was almost
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: being interviewed talking about what he does.
- 1:55:45Speaker 10: And I didn't even know it went that far. I've
- 1:55:47Speaker 10: never seen Yeah, when we report on the story, i'll
- 1:55:50Speaker 10: see a clip, but I've never tuned into either one
- 1:55:54Speaker 10: of those shows. I just knew from what we get
- 1:55:58Speaker 10: it's always something surrounded a sexual topic. And I wonder,
- 1:56:03Speaker 10: why is that his go to joke? Like you know,
- 1:56:07Speaker 10: some people have that one lane they always go to
- 1:56:11Speaker 10: as a punchline and it centers around that kind of
- 1:56:15Speaker 10: thing for Shannon. So now is she mad at him?
- 1:56:18Speaker 10: Was she offended? No, it seemed like she laughed at off. Okay, yeah,
- 1:56:21Speaker 10: you know you had Cam up there. Cam Newton was
- 1:56:24Speaker 10: there as well.
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: I saw the t I was Atlanta Rappers?
- 1:56:30Speaker 10: Yeah, who was one out cast?
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: Two? I believe it was it. I can't remember g Z.
- 1:56:39Speaker 10: I can't believe.
- 1:56:39Speaker 11: But T I did check Stephen a on like a hawk,
- 1:56:43Speaker 11: I mean, who was the top best Atlanta athletes?
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: And he tried he told him that.
- 1:56:50Speaker 11: Ty I said, I want to have Josh Smith on
- 1:56:52Speaker 11: the list, and uh and Stephen they was like, Josh
- 1:56:55Speaker 11: Smith is not compared to those t I was like, no,
- 1:56:58Speaker 11: Josh Smith is from Atlanta. When you said who Atlanta athletes?
- 1:57:02Speaker 11: Who are the best who Atlanta people love. So they
- 1:57:05Speaker 11: got into a big of a squabble lately. And then
- 1:57:07Speaker 11: you know, plus Kevin Durant just recently said to us,
- 1:57:11Speaker 11: we bought that up lightly about how whoever listened to
- 1:57:13Speaker 11: Steven A they mustn't understand that he's not that guy.
- 1:57:17Speaker 10: But you know, Joey Bosa find eleven thousand dollars for
- 1:57:20Speaker 10: that MAGA hat. So you people that wanted him to
- 1:57:23Speaker 10: be fine, that find happened, so you should pat yourself
- 1:57:26Speaker 10: on the back LG.
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: Eleven.
- 1:57:30Speaker 10: Well, whatever that fine was, it was part of the CBA.
- 1:57:34Speaker 10: So it's probably the same for any product you take
- 1:57:37Speaker 10: out onto the field.
- 1:57:38Speaker 1: So I could have wore a diesel cap and still
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: hit the eleven thousand. Yeah.
- 1:57:44Speaker 10: Shador Sanders got in some issue about him trying to
- 1:57:47Speaker 10: promote his own so but he didn't get fined. The
- 1:57:50Speaker 10: referees didn't make him change his T shirt. He had
- 1:57:53Speaker 10: one of HISS two shirts on and he knew he
- 1:57:57Speaker 10: can't warm them up in that That was all intent
- 1:58:00Speaker 10: and you know, to get the publisher the publicity. He
- 1:58:03Speaker 10: knew he can't go out in those shirt. He did
- 1:58:05Speaker 10: the chat don't your sinko when he used to put
- 1:58:08Speaker 10: on those different things when he warmed up, but your
- 1:58:11Speaker 10: tour changed his shirt. I did notice he had that
- 1:58:14Speaker 10: same says two on the gatorade towel. I could not
- 1:58:18Speaker 10: tell whether it was an official gatorade towel or he
- 1:58:22Speaker 10: just had somebody put it on the Gatoraye towel. Over
- 1:58:26Speaker 10: there was your door Sanders with.
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: Now, how long does the NCAA allow that to go uncheck?
- 1:58:32Speaker 10: Oh n C double don't know. They didn't care about
- 1:58:34Speaker 10: that no more. It's all about the money. They just manned,
- 1:58:37Speaker 10: uh suspended limits on visits. So now basically a player
- 1:58:42Speaker 10: can go unlimited. You used to have to pick five,
- 1:58:48Speaker 10: Now you can go about them all.
- 1:58:50Speaker 1: Is it anybody anytime?
- 1:58:52Speaker 10: As much as you want, which I keep telling y'all,
- 1:58:55Speaker 10: just call it pro football and stop all this college
- 1:59:01Speaker 10: sports thing because these kids are laughing at it as well.
- 1:59:05Speaker 10: And we are in the ocean.
- 1:59:08Speaker 1: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: It's time to rap things up. On the Sports Jut
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: Show with Wayne Candy.
- 1:59:27Speaker 10: When you hear the sounds of the ocean, it gives
- 1:59:28Speaker 10: a sports shot Jess a minute to Ben. We'd like
- 1:59:30Speaker 10: to thank you for tuning in to today's show once again,
- 1:59:34Speaker 10: Happy Veterans Day to all our veterans out there. Tonight
- 1:59:38Speaker 10: Monday Night football the Dolphins and the Ram sets up
- 1:59:41Speaker 10: to be a good game and I could throw some
- 1:59:46Speaker 10: own bowls and her husband Jonathan Owens in the ocean
- 1:59:52Speaker 10: having a little smooch as he ran out onto the
- 1:59:56Speaker 10: field to play. And then you wonder why the Bears
- 1:59:59Speaker 10: got blue out yesterday by the Patriots, But I'll save
- 2:00:03Speaker 10: that for later, going in the ocean today. We've seen
- 2:00:06Speaker 10: the trend, and I don't think you're gonna get a
- 2:00:09Speaker 10: stoppage of it this year, but I still have to
- 2:00:12Speaker 10: speak on it. And that's fan throwing debris onto the field.
- 2:00:18Speaker 10: You young millennial generation z's have lost your cotton picking.
- 2:00:25Speaker 10: And I did say cotton picking, and I guess, ince
- 2:00:28Speaker 10: I'm black, I can say cotton picking along with watermelon
- 2:00:31Speaker 10: and great kool Aid and everything else that y'all say
- 2:00:34Speaker 10: is races out there, y'all. Don't lost y'all mind. You
- 2:00:41Speaker 10: can't get mad every time somebody doesn't do a call,
- 2:00:45Speaker 10: a play or a penalty.
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: That you like.
- 2:00:49Speaker 10: These head coaches having to go to the mic and
- 2:00:52Speaker 10: ask you not to do these things. You just have
- 2:00:56Speaker 10: lost your mind. Two things are gonna have. One, you're
- 2:01:02Speaker 10: gonna be sitting in the stands thirsty, because the adjustment
- 2:01:06Speaker 10: will be just not to let you bring or sell
- 2:01:08Speaker 10: anything in the stadium. Remember they used to sell alcohol
- 2:01:12Speaker 10: and then y'all started jumping out the stands and they
- 2:01:14Speaker 10: got rid of alcohol in the stadiums for a while.
- 2:01:19Speaker 10: And two, the Texas Tech fans, where y'all get all
- 2:01:23Speaker 10: those tortillas from? Are y'all actually wasting food because you
- 2:01:27Speaker 10: walk in here with a pack of tortilla. You could
- 2:01:29Speaker 10: even be my friends like, hey, I'm a fan, but
- 2:01:31Speaker 10: we ain't just gonna where you going with that pack
- 2:01:33Speaker 10: of tortillas. Y'all was throwing tortillas during the Colorado game.
- 2:01:38Speaker 10: Travis Hanold even picked one up put in his pants.
- 2:01:40Speaker 10: I don't know what that meant, but he was trying
- 2:01:43Speaker 10: to tell y'all something. But you college football fans, I
- 2:01:47Speaker 10: have to get you on this week with all this
- 2:01:50Speaker 10: throwing stuff, So you have to walk the plank.
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: You got any of that King George to take us home?
- 2:02:07Speaker 10: The Big Kenny, the funny man himself, the mediocre and
- 2:02:12Speaker 10: bad producer.
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: Over here to two fer, I like your little handyman
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: shirt though.
- 2:02:16Speaker 11: Oh, you know, we just garbage. You know, the Falcons
- 2:02:19Speaker 11: this week. So I went to put on my garbage.
- 2:02:22Speaker 11: Oh is that what that songs me.
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: You know, to make sure I don't get run over.
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: I thought it was like construction, construction, construction working. You
- 2:02:30Speaker 1: said that garbage. I thought he said garbage. Yeah, I
- 2:02:33Speaker 1: thought it was garbage work. It's two different work, two
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: different works, ones building, once trash And.
- 2:02:41Speaker 10: For DJ Doc from the Sports Shock Show, we hope
- 2:02:43Speaker 10: you have a good Veterans Day.
- 2:02:45Speaker 22: Peace, Call your girl, call your garb, Telly.
- 2:02:51Speaker 4: Cavy music, Gay.
- 2:02:56Speaker 22: Wins, It's Somebody, It's sub Body in
- 2:03:00Speaker 13: The Mooney and f Boring Bar of The Sports Jock
- 2:03:05Speaker 13: Show with Wayne Garry Us
