- 0:02Speaker 1: On Scorods Australia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Reader Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Riata Panety Show. Coming
- 0:12Speaker 3: up tonight, labors fifty seven billion dollar blowout exposed, decimating
- 0:17Speaker 3: hopes for a budget surplus within the next ten years.
- 0:21Speaker 3: The panel joins me to shortly to discuss that, plus
- 0:23Speaker 3: the day's other top headlines, including an almighty meltdown from
- 0:28Speaker 3: some has been Australian rockers triggered by Pauline Hansen. Business
- 0:34Speaker 3: leaders warn green energy cannot power the next generation of
- 0:38Speaker 3: digital infrastructure. Prophecy and Plyma will have more on that shortly. CJ.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Pearson has the latest from the US, including the media's
- 0:47Speaker 3: continued attempts to normalize far left violence amid ongoing unrest
- 0:53Speaker 3: in Minnesota. King Charles issues an ultimatum to Prince William
- 0:58Speaker 3: and Princess Catherine. Deedie Dunleavy has more details on that
- 1:03Speaker 3: later in the Hour and Left He's Losing It Tonight
- 1:06Speaker 3: features war left disagitators keen to be part of an insurrection.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Show up, ready to go? Okay, not talking about peaceful
- 1:17Speaker 4: protests anymore. We're not talking about having polite conversations anymore.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But first, a fifty seven billion dollar hole has been
- 1:25Speaker 3: exposed in Treasurer at Jim Chalmer's budget. The blowout was
- 1:28Speaker 3: buried in the Treasurer's fiscal update in December. It was
- 1:32Speaker 3: first detected through budget analysis by Shadow treasure at Tet
- 1:35Speaker 3: O'Brien's office and independently verified by the Australian Financial Review.
- 1:40Speaker 3: About two thirds of the deterioration in the budget deficit
- 1:44Speaker 3: is due to higher spending by the Albanezi government. Labor
- 1:48Speaker 3: also hasn't disclosed what the extra borron money will actually
- 1:52Speaker 3: be spent on. Apart from a looming hospital funding deal.
- 1:56Speaker 3: The budget is now no longer projected to return to
- 1:59Speaker 3: cer within the next ten years. Let's bring in the
- 2:03Speaker 3: panel men'sis research centers in your fellow Nicata and Sky
- 2:07Speaker 3: News contributor, Louise roberts Nick, I'll start with you. The
- 2:11Speaker 3: highest spending and bigger deficits were not included in the
- 2:16Speaker 3: pre election economic and fiscal outlook, which was signed off
- 2:20Speaker 3: by the heads of Treasury and the Finance Department. It's
- 2:25Speaker 3: fairly interesting that you would have thought that would be
- 2:27Speaker 3: information that voters should have been aware of.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Yeah, and once upon a time we knew Treasury was independence,
- 2:35Speaker 5: it was incorruptible. It would just give free and frank advice.
- 2:40Speaker 5: It wasn't behold to any government. I'm not saying it
- 2:43Speaker 5: is now, but you have to begin to wonder if
- 2:45Speaker 5: they leave out something as significant as this from the
- 2:50Speaker 5: pre election financial outlook, then you've got to think, you know,
- 2:54Speaker 5: either they're just not up to their job, or they're
- 2:56Speaker 5: actually doing try to get Albanesi and Jim Chalmers back
- 2:59Speaker 5: into PA. But either way, fifty seven billion is a
- 3:02Speaker 5: lot of money. And if we wonder why inflation is
- 3:05Speaker 5: going up up to three point seven percent today, that's
- 3:09Speaker 5: because government is spending too much.
- 3:11Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:11Speaker 5: But we're going to pay because the RBA will put
- 3:14Speaker 5: up interest rates and we're all going to suffer.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Loise got labor budget blowouts, massive deficits. It's all a
- 3:24Speaker 3: little bit predictable, it is.
- 3:26Speaker 7: I mean to next point as well.
- 3:27Speaker 8: The fact that the information will sort of buried beyond
- 3:30Speaker 8: that initial four year here where most media analysts and
- 3:33Speaker 8: you know, accounts would actually look at those figures is
- 3:36Speaker 8: a bit tricky and a bit sneaky perhaps as well,
- 3:38Speaker 8: But I don't know whether it's sort of an accounting
- 3:41Speaker 8: issue a more of a presentation issue that they were
- 3:43Speaker 8: trying to make it look the books look as good
- 3:45Speaker 8: as possible before the election and sort of hide any
- 3:48Speaker 8: sort of massive debt. But of course it always comes
- 3:50Speaker 8: back to haunt them. Hence, while we're talking about it today,
- 3:53Speaker 8: they've been spending too much and what it does create,
- 3:55Speaker 8: of course, down the line, is a problem for the
- 3:57Speaker 8: next government. Here we either have to tax or slash
- 4:00Speaker 8: spending to kind of paper over the cracks created by
- 4:03Speaker 8: the Albanesi government.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Now let's look at some extraordinary polling. I say extraordinary,
- 4:10Speaker 3: but really we've said that about five or six times
- 4:13Speaker 3: in the last couple of weeks, and this latest one
- 4:16Speaker 3: shows One Nation's Pauline Hanson could become the leader of
- 4:20Speaker 3: the opposition if an election were held today. That's according
- 4:23Speaker 3: to the first ever sky News poll. Sky News is
- 4:26Speaker 3: teamed up with Yuga to deliver sky News polls, and
- 4:29Speaker 3: these polling numbers should trouble the Liberals and the Nationals.
- 4:33Speaker 3: One Nation's support continues to source, jumping seven percent to
- 4:37Speaker 3: twenty five percent, trailing only Labour now, who sit on
- 4:41Speaker 3: thirty one percent. They're down four points. The combined Liberal
- 4:45Speaker 3: and National vote is twenty percent Louise another stunning poll
- 4:50Speaker 3: result for Pauline Hanson.
- 4:52Speaker 8: Absolutely it is, and she cannot be ignored. She's not
- 4:54Speaker 8: a fringe element in our political landscape anymore.
- 4:57Speaker 7: She's not to somebody can be dismissed.
- 4:59Speaker 8: As a former chip fish and chip shop owner who
- 5:02Speaker 8: perhaps doesn't know what she's talking about. She's really tapped
- 5:04Speaker 8: into the zeitgeist of people in Australia who are concerned
- 5:08Speaker 8: about immigration and she's making that obviously her main issue,
- 5:12Speaker 8: an issue we were told is two racist to discuss
- 5:15Speaker 8: and you know, like a fringe issue, and it's clearly not.
- 5:18Speaker 8: I mean, if sixty four percent of people in this
- 5:19Speaker 8: poll as well saying they want immigration cut and they're
- 5:23Speaker 8: concerned about it being too high, then she's really tapped
- 5:26Speaker 8: into that and it's something the major parties clearly have
- 5:29Speaker 8: been tiptoeing around, worried about upsetting their voter base whatever.
- 5:33Speaker 8: But she's just gone for the jugular and look at
- 5:35Speaker 8: the result people are responding to that.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Australia really does need to have a genuine conservative, genuine
- 5:45Speaker 3: center right option. The Coalition, i would argue, has failed
- 5:48Speaker 3: to deliver that. The Tories have failed to deliver that.
- 5:52Speaker 3: In the UK they have reformed they have her first
- 5:54Speaker 3: pass the post system. It's different to ours with the
- 5:57Speaker 3: preferential system, but these parties have to come together or
- 6:02Speaker 3: either in a coalition or have some sort of preference
- 6:06Speaker 3: discipline otherwise all those voters are going to be completely unrepresented.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a very odd thing about our voting system,
- 6:16Speaker 5: not only preferential but instant transfer. We are the only
- 6:20Speaker 5: country basically in the world that has that system. But
- 6:23Speaker 5: the peculiar thing about it is you've got to agree
- 6:26Speaker 5: your alliances, your coalition before the election so that you
- 6:30Speaker 5: can manage the preference flow or you've no hope againting
- 6:33Speaker 5: into government. So at the moment it's a recipe for chaos.
- 6:36Speaker 5: I will say that. I think actually, if we now
- 6:40Speaker 5: review the One Nation as the second largest party in
- 6:44Speaker 5: the country, Barnaby Joyce should be the opposition leader. Of course,
- 6:47Speaker 5: he's in the lower House, so he gets to drive
- 6:49Speaker 5: the big car Armadale if that's the point he wants.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and how good are his political instincts? Ship just
- 7:02Speaker 3: as One Nation's numbers began to surge. Obviously he'll take
- 7:05Speaker 3: some credit. But as Louise mentioned, this is something that
- 7:09Speaker 3: Pauline Hanson has been advocating for for decades now, and
- 7:14Speaker 3: when she first started talking about it, it was almost
- 7:17Speaker 3: taboo and nick In some ways it remains taboo. You've
- 7:21Speaker 3: got people within the Liberal Party shadow ministers who can't
- 7:27Speaker 3: even bring themselves to use the term mass migration. They
- 7:30Speaker 3: think there's something unpleasant about that term, no matter how
- 7:35Speaker 3: accurate it is.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I sat it was extraordinary last week when they were
- 7:39Speaker 5: debating those hate speech laws and so forth and response
- 7:42Speaker 5: to Bondi. Basically there were only two MP's in the
- 7:45Speaker 5: Lower House who mentioned immigration at all. One was Bob Catter.
- 7:52Speaker 5: The others were Listen Macintosh mem for Lindsey and good honor,
- 7:57Speaker 5: she's across this issue. She was the only one that
- 7:59Speaker 5: I could see for the kurdishion side who actually thought
- 8:02Speaker 5: immigration might be relevant to what happened to Bondai. So
- 8:05Speaker 5: they have to really get onto that. They have to
- 8:07Speaker 5: have a strong immigration policy because people are really really
- 8:12Speaker 5: crying out for that now, strong policy on crime, and
- 8:16Speaker 5: of course a policy that's going to deal with this
- 8:18Speaker 5: radical Islam problem menace that we have in this country.
- 8:22Speaker 5: They've got to have that, and I don't see any
- 8:24Speaker 5: sign that they've got that ready yet.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Now these polls must be devastating for some of the
- 8:30Speaker 3: has beens of the Australian music industry. Get ready for
- 8:33Speaker 3: more tantrums, folks. We've already had the Hoodoo Gurus having
- 8:37Speaker 3: an almighty tantrum because one of their songs was used
- 8:41Speaker 3: at a rally. As the aging rockers couldn't name a
- 8:44Speaker 3: single one, I've got to say, so let's just call
- 8:46Speaker 3: them the Hudoo Gurus have slammed the One Nation leader
- 8:50Speaker 3: for using the band's biggest hit as her walk on
- 8:53Speaker 3: music at a rally. They posted this deranged die tribe
- 8:58Speaker 3: on Facebook saying we were disgusted to hear that one
- 9:02Speaker 3: of our songs was played by a bunch of wanna
- 9:05Speaker 3: be fascist yesterday fascists. Oh my gosh. Like most Australians,
- 9:10Speaker 3: we have always been appalled by Pauline Hanson and the
- 9:14Speaker 3: toxic nonsense she spouts. This is our message to her
- 9:18Speaker 3: and her followers. Don't play our music, don't listen to
- 9:21Speaker 3: our band, do not pass go. We want nothing to
- 9:25Speaker 3: do with you. In fact, we wouldn't pee on you
- 9:29Speaker 3: if you were on fire. Louise, just our Oh well, first,
- 9:34Speaker 3: let's touch on the delusions of grandeur here, imagining that
- 9:38Speaker 3: anyone who listens to their music wants to hang out
- 9:40Speaker 3: with them or even cares what they think about anything.
- 9:43Speaker 3: But how pathetically out of touch are this lot they
- 9:47Speaker 3: seek to speak for the majority of Australians. The latest
- 9:51Speaker 3: News poll shows Pauline Hanson is the only political leader
- 9:55Speaker 3: in this country with a positive favorability rating. She's well
- 9:58Speaker 3: ahead of the Prime Minister and the opposition leader Susan Lee.
- 10:03Speaker 8: It's this curious thing with these sort of aging lefty
- 10:05Speaker 8: musicians sort of hear their music, you know, rolled art
- 10:09Speaker 8: at a political rally or some sort of modern evenge
- 10:11Speaker 8: and they have to say, no, no, that's not what
- 10:12Speaker 8: we met. We're not aligned with this person. She doesn't
- 10:14Speaker 8: speak for us. When I mean, they must be living
- 10:17Speaker 8: high on the hole on their royalties if they don't
- 10:19Speaker 8: actually see this. There's a great opportunity to speak to
- 10:21Speaker 8: voters and actually you know, rev up the back catalog
- 10:24Speaker 8: and actually make some more money. But also, as you say,
- 10:26Speaker 8: they're not speaking for the rest of Australia. Everyone else
- 10:29Speaker 8: knows that song What's My Scene is about a sense
- 10:32Speaker 8: of longing and not quite fitting in that sort of
- 10:35Speaker 8: Australian way of you know, turning up to a barbie
- 10:37Speaker 8: and not sure who's there and who.
- 10:39Speaker 7: You're going to get along with.
- 10:40Speaker 8: And isn't that a great message for how voters feel
- 10:42Speaker 8: about now that's why they're turning towards One Nation and
- 10:45Speaker 8: Pauline because they don't know what they're seeing. Is so really,
- 10:48Speaker 8: the gurus or whodo gurus should capitalize on this, you know,
- 10:51Speaker 8: whether or not they agree with the politics, But to
- 10:53Speaker 8: really give her a spray.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Like that is just ridiculous.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I think, Nick, it seems some musicians seemed confused about
- 11:02Speaker 3: their role. They don't understand that once they've created the music,
- 11:05Speaker 3: people can enjoy or not enjoy them as they wish.
- 11:09Speaker 3: You can't dictate to people how they enjoy your music,
- 11:14Speaker 3: and you can't dictate to them what to think about politics.
- 11:18Speaker 3: We don't care.
- 11:19Speaker 5: It's another example of go broke, isn't it. I mean,
- 11:23Speaker 5: you're right aging rock stars should just spend their day
- 11:26Speaker 5: counting the royalties coming in. They've just annoyed twenty five
- 11:31Speaker 5: percent of the Australian population, so you'd have to think
- 11:34Speaker 5: they're going to take a hit in the royalties. But
- 11:37Speaker 5: look artists don't get to say who listens to their
- 11:40Speaker 5: music and in what context. I would have thought if
- 11:43Speaker 5: Wagner had had lived long enough, he would have been
- 11:45Speaker 5: annoyed to see that Adolf Hitler was the greatest fan
- 11:48Speaker 5: of the Ring Cycle. It probably didn't look too good
- 11:51Speaker 5: for him. But you know, that's it. You know, music
- 11:53Speaker 5: is music, and they should just count the royalties because
- 11:57Speaker 5: you know, a lot of these rock bands make a
- 11:59Speaker 5: lot of money. Years are for years and years and
- 12:02Speaker 5: years just out of hits on Apple Music or however
- 12:06Speaker 5: they keep their royalties.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I'm not sure how much money the Hurda Gurus are making.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I'm really not too interested. But like you said, you
- 12:15Speaker 3: can't dictate how people enjoy or don't enjoy your music.
- 12:19Speaker 3: If you've that is just yeah, let's move on, because
- 12:23Speaker 3: I'm going to just get angry now. A song released
- 12:26Speaker 3: by One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and performed by Ozzie
- 12:30Speaker 3: singer and actress Hollyverlance, has hit the number one spot
- 12:34Speaker 3: on the Apple Music iTunes Best Selling Song chart. None
- 12:40Speaker 3: of the last time the Hooda Gurus were number one.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Nick In fact, I do know it's never that song.
- 12:45Speaker 3: We're just talking about their biggest hit only made it
- 12:47Speaker 3: to number three, But I digress. This just shows you
- 12:55Speaker 3: how much of an appetite there is for this sort
- 12:57Speaker 3: of content, this sort of material. I think this song
- 13:00Speaker 3: was a bit of a joke, but it's number one.
- 13:05Speaker 5: That's right, and look good on them. People want, you know,
- 13:09Speaker 5: people want a bit of a bit of humor, a
- 13:11Speaker 5: bit of light, a light belief in this very dark world.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Who do gurus obviously aren't bringing us that. With a
- 13:17Speaker 5: very serious, poe faced denunciation of Pauline Hanson, I think
- 13:21Speaker 5: this movie is going to do very well from all accounts,
- 13:23Speaker 5: you know. I mean, look at look at those polls
- 13:25Speaker 5: last week that showed how patriotic Generation Z is. There's
- 13:31Speaker 5: a there's definitely a pushback against woke amongst that generation,
- 13:34Speaker 5: and they're going to love this one.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Louise, I've got to say, Holy, the Lance and Pauline
- 13:41Speaker 3: Hanson was not a collaboration I was expecting to see.
- 13:45Speaker 3: But let's have a quick listen.
- 13:48Speaker 9: I'm so fun left that you look for right. If
- 13:50Speaker 9: your pale, stale and nail your animous, you can't do
- 13:53Speaker 9: death and every TV acause a country band, welcome to
- 13:56Speaker 9: the country.
- 13:57Speaker 10: It's not your nuns.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I've got to say Holly Valance can write a song.
- 14:07Speaker 3: The lyrics are quite funny there, and she's number one
- 14:10Speaker 3: in the charts, Louise, Yeah they are.
- 14:12Speaker 8: I mean she's it's been fascinating to watch her morphing
- 14:15Speaker 8: from neighbors Starlett to Billinaire's wife to the sort of
- 14:18Speaker 8: ambassador of conservative values.
- 14:20Speaker 7: And yes, it wasn't on my.
- 14:21Speaker 8: Bing go can't either seeing Holly Valance team up with
- 14:24Speaker 8: Pauline Hansen. But maybe if I looked a really close
- 14:26Speaker 8: I would have thought practiced a natural thing. She's obviously
- 14:28Speaker 8: going to take an interest in politics in her native
- 14:31Speaker 8: Australia and obviously sees Pauline as the proper answer to
- 14:35Speaker 8: her forming a government, maybe even being prime minister because
- 14:37Speaker 8: obviously Holly's you know, very pally with Nigel Farage too,
- 14:41Speaker 8: so she's on board with the sort of similar values
- 14:43Speaker 8: around immigration, cost of living and things like that.
- 14:46Speaker 7: So but yeah, the lyrics are great.
- 14:48Speaker 8: I mean, maybe she's given more of a chance when
- 14:50Speaker 8: she was in her younger days, you know, hitting the charts,
- 14:52Speaker 8: so she was more known for her sort of sexy image,
- 14:55Speaker 8: but I think she's matured to light and again What
- 14:57Speaker 8: a great asset for Pauline to have because she'll speak
- 14:59Speaker 8: to directly to a different generation as well.
- 15:04Speaker 7: Well.
- 15:04Speaker 3: It's very interesting seeing younger people warn to Pauline. It's
- 15:08Speaker 3: a demographic you wouldn't think would be naturally one nation backers.
- 15:13Speaker 3: But again the poll numbers around the younger voters is
- 15:17Speaker 3: very interesting. Nick Kata, Luise Roberts, thank you so much
- 15:20Speaker 3: for your time tonight. Joining me now is a steam
- 15:24Speaker 3: geologist and author. Professor Ian Plymer, Ian, one of the
- 15:29Speaker 3: nation's top data center operators, has warned it cannot run
- 15:33Speaker 3: on renewables alone. They need colon gas. Who would have
- 15:36Speaker 3: thought data centers are emerging as one of the fastest
- 15:40Speaker 3: growing sources of electricity demand. They have become central to
- 15:44Speaker 3: defense systems, emergency services, hospitals and telecommunications networks. Belinda Dennett
- 15:51Speaker 3: is the Chief Executive of Data Centers Australia and says
- 15:54Speaker 3: for mission critical infrastructure reliability is non negotiable. Ian I
- 16:01Speaker 3: would argue it's not just data centers. They can't run
- 16:05Speaker 3: on renewables alone. An advanced economy can't run on renewables alone.
- 16:11Speaker 11: Of course, you can't run on sunbeams and sea breezes. Often,
- 16:17Speaker 11: you don't get the wind at night. You certainly don't
- 16:20Speaker 11: get the sun at night. And what people are trying
- 16:23Speaker 11: to do is to try to avoid the reality. And
- 16:27Speaker 11: the reality is that an industrial economy needs a huge
- 16:31Speaker 11: amount of energy. A data center has to go twenty
- 16:34Speaker 11: four to seven. A data center has to be able
- 16:37Speaker 11: to process information at three o'clock in the morning when
- 16:41Speaker 11: the sun's not shining and the wind.
- 16:43Speaker 12: Might not be blowing, and it is not negotiable.
- 16:46Speaker 11: You cannot have data centers, nor can you have foundries,
- 16:49Speaker 11: nor can you have minds, nor can you have factories,
- 16:52Speaker 11: nor can you have farms. You can't have them without
- 16:56Speaker 11: reliable energy. And that energy's going to be twenty four
- 16:59Speaker 11: to seven. And that energy we once had, We once
- 17:02Speaker 11: had it before we decided to go down this mad
- 17:06Speaker 11: path have destroying good farmland with wind turbines and solar panels.
- 17:13Speaker 3: And let's check in with some of the predictions from
- 17:16Speaker 3: the climate colt here is one of the biggest global
- 17:20Speaker 3: warming grifters around, al Gore claiming back in two thousand
- 17:25Speaker 3: and nine that the North Pole could be ice free
- 17:28Speaker 3: in the summer within five to seven years.
- 17:32Speaker 13: Some of the models suggest to doctor Maslowski that there
- 17:38Speaker 13: is a seventy five percent chance that the entire North
- 17:44Speaker 13: Polar ice cap during summer, during some of the summer
- 17:49Speaker 13: months could be completely ice free within the next five
- 17:53Speaker 13: to seven years.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Seventy five percent chance, Yeah, that sounds high. And how
- 17:59Speaker 3: did that workout? What has happened to the North Paol
- 18:03Speaker 3: ice cap.
- 18:05Speaker 12: Well, I was at that cop conference in Copenhagen and
- 18:09Speaker 12: it was perishingly cold, it was snowing, it was really miserable,
- 18:14Speaker 12: and here we had people trying to tell us that
- 18:15Speaker 12: we had global warming based on models. Now you can
- 18:20Speaker 12: compare models with what we've measured in the past, and
- 18:23Speaker 12: what we've measured in the past is that we do get.
- 18:26Speaker 11: A breakup of ice in the North Pole area every
- 18:29Speaker 11: sixty years. This is when the Northwest Passage is open.
- 18:33Speaker 11: This is when we had wooden ships go through the
- 18:35Speaker 11: open Northwest Passage. We've known this for thousands of years
- 18:39Speaker 11: because the Chinese calendar.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Was based on this.
- 18:42Speaker 9: So he's talking absolute nonsense.
- 18:45Speaker 12: He's talking his own book.
- 18:47Speaker 11: He did make more than a billion out of frightening
- 18:50Speaker 11: as witness on climate matters, and so I think all
- 18:53Speaker 11: we've got to conclude is that that man is talking
- 18:56Speaker 11: his own book.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It was wrong.
- 18:58Speaker 11: He's still making money and he doesn't care.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It doesn't And really there hasn't been much of a
- 19:05Speaker 3: reckoning for him, has there amongst the lovies, amongst the
- 19:10Speaker 3: media and academia and the activist class. Is not the
- 19:14Speaker 3: joke that he should be because just about everything that
- 19:18Speaker 3: he predicted has been a failure. It's been wildly inaccurate.
- 19:25Speaker 3: It hasn't even been close. Now, before you go till independent,
- 19:29Speaker 3: Monique Ryan wants extreme heat waves named the same way
- 19:34Speaker 3: that we name cyclones. Not only that, she says the
- 19:37Speaker 3: most severe heat waves should be named after fossil fuel companies.
- 19:43Speaker 3: She said fossil fuels are the leading cause of climate change.
- 19:47Speaker 3: They contribute to longer, hotter, and more frequent heat waves.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Declaring a category four heat waves Santos or heat wave
- 19:55Speaker 3: Woodside would mean far more to the public than a
- 19:59Speaker 3: vague imperature spike. And I'd mock her for this sort
- 20:04Speaker 3: of idiocy, but I think she's mocking herself there. This
- 20:07Speaker 3: sort of talk is almost beyond parody.
- 20:10Speaker 11: Well, I don't know what's in the water, but I
- 20:12Speaker 11: want some of it. I mean, there's fabulous stuff she
- 20:15Speaker 11: should try a new name calling these very hot times,
- 20:19Speaker 11: and she should try to use the word summer because
- 20:22Speaker 11: that's what it is. And why should she do advertising
- 20:26Speaker 11: for Santos and Woodside? This is the best advertising they
- 20:29Speaker 11: could get. So this woman is suffering from a tench
- 20:33Speaker 11: and deficit disorder. She's not getting enough for tens and
- 20:36Speaker 11: in the press she has to go more and more
- 20:39Speaker 11: ridiculous before she can get noticed.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And I'm not so sure that as.
- 20:43Speaker 11: A politician she should be noticed for what she talks about.
- 20:50Speaker 3: For the impliment, thank you so much for your time,
- 20:52Speaker 3: and you're one hundred percent right there. Sometimes when you
- 20:54Speaker 3: have these thought bubbles, just best to keep them to
- 20:57Speaker 3: yourselves or maybe into your in your office. Don't go
- 21:01Speaker 3: making statements publicly, because this woman's credibility continues to dive
- 21:08Speaker 3: still to come. Left is losing it plus far left
- 21:12Speaker 3: violence normalized by the mainstream media amid ongoing unrest in Minnesota.
- 21:18Speaker 7: C J.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Pearson has the latest. You're watching the Riada Paney Show,
- 21:34Speaker 3: and it's time for Left is losing it. And I
- 21:37Speaker 3: regret to inform you that the world's unfunniest man, Jimmy Kimmel,
- 21:42Speaker 3: is crying again. He's usually crying for himself and his
- 21:45Speaker 3: imagined victimhood, but now he's deeply moved by leftist agitators
- 21:50Speaker 3: being shot in Minneapolis. This is a man who did
- 21:53Speaker 3: not shed a single tearfo Lake and Riley Ruebergarcia, Rachel Marine,
- 21:58Speaker 3: Kayla Hamilton. The list is tragically long. He didn't shed
- 22:02Speaker 3: a tear for Charlie Kirk. Indeed, he used Charlie's murder
- 22:06Speaker 3: to push lies blaming MAGA for leftist violence. But now
- 22:12Speaker 3: now Jimmy is crying.
- 22:14Speaker 14: If our leaders are intentionally creating and encouraging violence and fear,
- 22:19Speaker 14: then I hope you will also agree we need new
- 22:22Speaker 14: leaders because these are not leaders.
- 22:25Speaker 2: And to the people of.
- 22:26Speaker 15: Minneapolis, to the pretty family and the Good family, and
- 22:30Speaker 15: these people who were looking out for their neighbors, we
- 22:35Speaker 15: why do you know that we are with you and
- 22:36Speaker 15: you are not alone.
- 22:38Speaker 3: The politicians intentionally creating and encouraging violence and fear are democrats. Jimmy,
- 22:46Speaker 3: you cannot be so dim that you don't understand that
- 22:49Speaker 3: you may support it, you may think it's for the
- 22:51Speaker 3: greater good, But if you don't know who's whipping up
- 22:54Speaker 3: hysteria and citing violence in America in twenty twenty six.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Then you'll be on help and sadly, more violence is inevitable.
- 23:04Speaker 3: This is an insurrection and some of these activists are
- 23:06Speaker 3: not hiding their intentions.
- 23:08Speaker 16: Here's the thing that I need for protesters and everyone
- 23:13Speaker 16: to start realizing. Okay, we're at war. The protests are over,
- 23:18Speaker 16: there's no more protesting. This is combat now. So when
- 23:22Speaker 16: I come onto the field, I'm not screaming at people
- 23:29Speaker 16: that are going to assault me or pepper spray me, like, no,
- 23:35Speaker 16: this is combat. I'm going to engage them in combat
- 23:39Speaker 16: because we have that needs to be done. This is
- 23:44Speaker 16: how we get shit done. Okay, we're not protesting anymore.
- 23:49Speaker 16: We're fighting, you understand, Like I need for you to
- 23:53Speaker 16: stop with the signs, and I need for you to
- 23:56Speaker 16: get shields and swords of the pew puw kind like
- 24:02Speaker 16: I need for you to wake up. We're at war.
- 24:05Speaker 16: It's war time. It's time to go to war.
- 24:08Speaker 3: These soy boys think they're in a war. This next
- 24:12Speaker 3: nerd has added some cool maritime music to his performative
- 24:15Speaker 3: Little act Pitiful, when's.
- 24:18Speaker 2: The time after today?
- 24:37Speaker 3: I'm mock, but we have to take these threats seriously.
- 24:41Speaker 3: The Minneapolis let uprising has seen the left getting those
- 24:45Speaker 3: Summer of love BLM vibes. Remember that violent uprising that
- 24:49Speaker 3: caused two billion in damage across the country, So around
- 24:53Speaker 3: two dozen people killed, many more assaulted and terrorized, all
- 24:58Speaker 3: by leftist agitators at many in the media called peaceful protesters,
- 25:04Speaker 3: and Antifa has been activated, including this Stuarde Ms.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Kyle, I'm Antifa, and there's so much rage in me
- 25:10Speaker 4: that I've had to record this like fifteen times trying
- 25:12Speaker 4: to get the message out. Can show up ready to go? Okay,
- 25:20Speaker 4: not talking about peaceful protests anymore. We're not talking about
- 25:24Speaker 4: having polite conversations anymore.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Oh, we're not even going to pretend to be peaceful, Kyle.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Surely you're not advocating for your Antifa buddies to come
- 25:35Speaker 3: armed with guns.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Welcome to America twenty twenty six, where Second Amendment is
- 25:39Speaker 4: the only thing that's going to keep you protected from
- 25:42Speaker 4: literal Nazi gunmen that are killing innocent people in the
- 25:47Speaker 4: street with impunity. This is not a joke. There's nothing
- 25:52Speaker 4: fun to chant about it. Get your guns and stop
- 25:57Speaker 4: these people.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Oh dear, that's it's the sort of talk that could
- 26:01Speaker 3: see kyl end Up in Gitmo somewhere similar. I prefer
- 26:05Speaker 3: these Antifa agitators when they're pursuing their other passions. Karl
- 26:09Speaker 3: loves a dress up.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I do this all year, all the time I'm out
- 26:16Speaker 4: and about like this, because I do it for me
- 26:20Speaker 4: all year.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Yes, the great unhinging continues, and it's important to note
- 26:27Speaker 3: it's not just random sad men and women attention seeking
- 26:30Speaker 3: on social media, though it's mainly that, but some of
- 26:34Speaker 3: these sad characters posting their breakdowns online are also given
- 26:39Speaker 3: a platform on leftist media outlets like CNN. They have
- 26:43Speaker 3: normalized and mainstreamed lunacy. Here is CINN regular Lee McGowan.
- 26:49Speaker 1: The United States Senate is voting on ACES funding next week,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and this.
- 26:54Speaker 9: Is a group that does not deserve to be funded.
- 26:57Speaker 9: Any Senator who votes to continue to pay for this
- 27:00Speaker 9: mob of unhinged murderers is out of their in mind
- 27:03Speaker 9: because this cannot be retrained. This has to be stopped.
- 27:08Speaker 1: So, if you are a US senator right now, do
- 27:10Speaker 1: not write tweet, do not write in tweet, Write a bill,
- 27:14Speaker 1: Write a bill that abolishes this heinous department.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that woman is given a platform on CNN where
- 27:22Speaker 3: she spews are crazy delusions, conspiracy theories, and unless Scott
- 27:27Speaker 3: Jennings or this is around, they pretty much go unchecked.
- 27:31Speaker 1: ICE agents have been known to kill people because people
- 27:35Speaker 1: are disappearing in custody, because we're missing twelve hundred people
- 27:38Speaker 1: in allegant your appetiser political. This is not political political vigilance.
- 27:42Speaker 2: You're encouraging people to interfere.
- 27:44Speaker 16: I am not writing.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm saying that people are killed because the DHS is lying,
- 27:49Speaker 1: because ICE is lying, and because people are getting there
- 27:52Speaker 1: are disappearing.
- 27:54Speaker 3: And good news. Early today the team you, Rachel Madaw
- 27:57Speaker 3: was back in her kitchen posting more crazy rants for
- 28:01Speaker 3: her followers. You know are going to be your quintessential awfuls,
- 28:05Speaker 3: the affluent white female leftists, often with serious mental health issues.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Here Lee encourages these troubled souls to be even more hateful,
- 28:15Speaker 3: more insula, more miserable by ostracizing any family members, friends,
- 28:21Speaker 3: even clients that support President Trump.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Time has come to ostracize them. It's time to shun
- 28:29Speaker 1: these people, to make mega pariahs in our society. Do
- 28:35Speaker 1: not welcome them into your home, do not have them
- 28:37Speaker 1: in your restaurant. Ask people what their political persuasion is
- 28:41Speaker 1: as they enter your store or your office. Don't make
- 28:43Speaker 1: small talk with them at work, fire clients, silence text chains.
- 28:47Speaker 1: There should be no room or time or place in
- 28:49Speaker 1: the civilized society for psychopaths and their enablers. These people
- 28:54Speaker 1: are traders to our country, to our constitution, to a
- 28:57Speaker 1: rule of law, and they should be treated as such.
- 29:01Speaker 9: I know this is horrid.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I know it's sad. I know a lot of people
- 29:05Speaker 1: are going to say, I can't believe you're gonna let
- 29:06Speaker 1: politics come between us, But we have to remind ourselves.
- 29:09Speaker 9: This isn't about politics.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It's about morality and civility and reality.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Morality, civility and reality. Honey, you have no grasp of
- 29:21Speaker 3: those words. You existed a parallel universe where your truth
- 29:26Speaker 3: trumps the truth. You know, the real truth, the facts.
- 29:29Speaker 3: These people have just become so used to rationalizing and
- 29:34Speaker 3: justifying the most horrendous behavior they can't talk about civility.
- 29:38Speaker 3: The left abandoned civility decades ago. Joining me now is
- 29:43Speaker 3: rn C Youth Advisory Council CoA ches CJ. Pearson CJ.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Tell me about the reaction to the shooting of this
- 29:50Speaker 3: leftist agitator Alex pretty There is an investigation into the
- 29:54Speaker 3: fatal shooting. We'll hopefully have a clearer picture soon of
- 29:58Speaker 3: what really happened. But what we already know is that
- 30:02Speaker 3: these are not just peaceful protests in Minnesota. They're actively
- 30:06Speaker 3: obstructing law enforcement. It's organized and often it's violent.
- 30:12Speaker 17: You know, they indeed are I think I'm going to
- 30:14Speaker 17: follow the lead of the President when I say that,
- 30:16Speaker 17: I think we need to allow this investigation shun fold
- 30:18Speaker 17: before answers or conclusions are jumped to in any way, whichhoever,
- 30:21Speaker 17: but I think it's important for us to realize that
- 30:24Speaker 17: at the end of the day, when it comes to protests,
- 30:26Speaker 17: we respect that as a country.
- 30:28Speaker 2: But what we do not respect, what we do not allow.
- 30:30Speaker 17: For people to latantly come into these violent you know,
- 30:35Speaker 17: conglomerates of folks and then brandish weapons or have them
- 30:39Speaker 17: on their person.
- 30:39Speaker 2: It's just not smart.
- 30:41Speaker 17: And so what remains to be seen what exactly will
- 30:44Speaker 17: come from this. But I think that what we will
- 30:46Speaker 17: see is that this has all been a result of
- 30:48Speaker 17: the violent rhetoric that's been spewed by folks on the
- 30:51Speaker 17: left who are actively encouraging their followers to do ice
- 30:56Speaker 17: officers harm.
- 30:57Speaker 2: You know, I stand with.
- 30:58Speaker 17: Our boys in blue, are men and women in blue
- 31:00Speaker 17: as well, who are defending our country, defending our sovereignty,
- 31:04Speaker 17: and simply ensuring that we actually enforce the immigration laws
- 31:07Speaker 17: on the book.
- 31:07Speaker 2: That should not be controversial.
- 31:09Speaker 17: What should be controversial are these left wing activists who
- 31:12Speaker 17: are actively encouraging assault and violent crimes against our men
- 31:17Speaker 17: and women in law enforcement.
- 31:21Speaker 3: It's an insurrection, is what it is. It's clearly that,
- 31:25Speaker 3: and it's curious that it's happening in Minnesota when we've
- 31:28Speaker 3: got ice operating across the country, but it's in this
- 31:32Speaker 3: blue state that has been revealed to be a hotbed
- 31:37Speaker 3: of fraud, and now we are seeing these violent protests
- 31:41Speaker 3: and obstruction of law enforcement. CJ. We're also learning more
- 31:45Speaker 3: about this particular activist actions. Let's listen to this report
- 31:49Speaker 3: from CNN.
- 31:51Speaker 10: Alex Pretty had a physical encounter with federal agents about
- 31:54Speaker 10: a week before he was shot and killed by law enforcement.
- 31:58Speaker 10: Sources tell CNN that Pretty broke a rib when a
- 32:01Speaker 10: group of federal officers tackled him while he was protesting.
- 32:06Speaker 3: So CJ, he was in a violent clash with federal
- 32:10Speaker 3: agents a week before he was shot dead and he
- 32:14Speaker 3: goes back for more with a loaded gun and extra ammo.
- 32:18Speaker 3: I mean, these are questions, Like you said, we're going
- 32:20Speaker 3: to have an investigation, But it seems most of the media,
- 32:24Speaker 3: most of the people having meltdowns online, aren't even reflecting
- 32:28Speaker 3: on those facts.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, not at all.
- 32:32Speaker 17: You know, usually when someone surrounds and finds out it
- 32:35Speaker 17: only takes one time.
- 32:36Speaker 2: He had to go back for a second helping.
- 32:37Speaker 17: And actually's a little bit confusing to me right when
- 32:39Speaker 17: you look at the facts of this case. But I
- 32:41Speaker 17: think that you know, the revelations that were already beginning
- 32:44Speaker 17: to see just days after this, of course again tragic incident,
- 32:48Speaker 17: will only begin to double and.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Multiply, and I think that the left will have a.
- 32:52Speaker 17: Hard time defending what exactly we saw happen in this instance.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I think they're looking to move on from this very quickly.
- 32:59Speaker 17: I think they're looking to pounce on this issue as
- 33:02Speaker 17: a way to demonize our law enforcement officers, as they
- 33:05Speaker 17: have throughout this entire ordeal.
- 33:07Speaker 2: We cannot let them.
- 33:08Speaker 17: And I think that again it goes back to the
- 33:10Speaker 17: fact that the president has a resounding mandate that was
- 33:12Speaker 17: given to him just last year or in twenty twenty
- 33:16Speaker 17: four when he was resulting and reelected that said we
- 33:19Speaker 17: would be conducting mass deportations.
- 33:21Speaker 2: This is not radical.
- 33:23Speaker 17: This is exactly what the American people voted for and
- 33:25Speaker 17: we ought to give them that.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Staying with the media coverage of this issue, Alex Pretty's
- 33:33Speaker 3: image has been digitally altered by some media outlets to
- 33:37Speaker 3: make him appear better looking. This isn't just fake New CJ.
- 33:42Speaker 3: It's insulting. I would hugue to the dead, and no surprise,
- 33:47Speaker 3: MSNBC are among media autlets who have used this fake image.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, it's exactly performedive. It's all fake.
- 33:56Speaker 17: But it goes to show just how desperate the left
- 33:59Speaker 17: is to try to rob this narrative that the President
- 34:02Speaker 17: is doing something that is not in the best interests.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Of the American people.
- 34:06Speaker 17: The President and his allies and folks administration are working
- 34:09Speaker 17: tirely every single day to keep American safe. They want
- 34:12Speaker 17: to talk about folks like him, Let's talk about folks
- 34:15Speaker 17: like Lincoln Riley. They don't want to have that conversation
- 34:18Speaker 17: because here's the deal. Lincoln Riley was a nurse as well,
- 34:20Speaker 17: who was gunt who was tackled and mauled in the
- 34:24Speaker 17: woods by an illegal alien who had no business being
- 34:27Speaker 17: in this country in any way whatsoever. They want to
- 34:30Speaker 17: talk about nurses, Let's talk about that nurse. Because when
- 34:33Speaker 17: I said that we should never again have a Lincoln Riley,
- 34:36Speaker 17: that was not conjecture from me, That was not a slogan,
- 34:39Speaker 17: that was not some political saying. I meant that, the
- 34:41Speaker 17: President meant that, his allies meant that, and we will
- 34:44Speaker 17: not allow some left wing rabbl rousers to distract us
- 34:47Speaker 17: from that mission of keeping the American people safe.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Well, talking about lift wing rebel rousers, let's hear from
- 34:56Speaker 3: the Governor of Minnesota, Te Walls, doing all he can
- 34:59Speaker 3: to lower temperature. Of course, I jest.
- 35:03Speaker 6: We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses,
- 35:07Speaker 6: afraid to go outside. Many of us grew up reading
- 35:10Speaker 6: that story of Anne Frank. Somebody's going to write that
- 35:14Speaker 6: children's story about Minnesota. And there's one person who can
- 35:20Speaker 6: end this. Now.
- 35:24Speaker 3: I don't even know what to say to that. CJ.
- 35:26Speaker 3: What's your response to that sort of rhetoric from Governor Walls.
- 35:32Speaker 17: You know, I've never met someone more low IQ than
- 35:34Speaker 17: tampon ten there. You know, when I hear him speak
- 35:36Speaker 17: about this issue. It's so divorced from reality that I'm
- 35:39Speaker 17: just kind of confused. If we're watching the same situation
- 35:42Speaker 17: here Minnesota children are scared to go outside. Well, if
- 35:46Speaker 17: they're scared to go outside because ice is outside, it's
- 35:48Speaker 17: probably because they're an illegal alien. You think I'm scared
- 35:50Speaker 17: to go outside, No, because I was born in Georgia,
- 35:53Speaker 17: a US state. And so here's the thing. Ice is
- 35:56Speaker 17: going after criminal illegal aliens, some of the worst of
- 35:59Speaker 17: the worst, rapist, murderers, people, assaulters, all of those things.
- 36:03Speaker 17: And so no, if you're scared to go outside because
- 36:06Speaker 17: ice is outside, then that's actually kind of the point.
- 36:09Speaker 17: So we're not gonna apologize for that.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Now, some businesses in Minneapolis are boarding up their shops.
- 36:19Speaker 3: They're ready for more violence from these so called protesters,
- 36:23Speaker 3: so called peaceful protesters from a segment of the media
- 36:26Speaker 3: call them CJ. President Trump has sent borders our Tom
- 36:30Speaker 3: Homan to Minnesota. Tell me more about that.
- 36:35Speaker 17: You know, Tom Homan is the consument professional. He's someone
- 36:37Speaker 17: that has been well regarded not just on the right,
- 36:39Speaker 17: but also in the left.
- 36:40Speaker 2: It was President Obama.
- 36:41Speaker 17: Who gave him an award for his service in helping
- 36:45Speaker 17: aid the deportation operations during his administration, and so I
- 36:48Speaker 17: think that, you know, if there's anyone that these folks
- 36:50Speaker 17: will like to pretend that they're working with, it will
- 36:53Speaker 17: probably be a Tom Homan.
- 36:55Speaker 2: And I think that he's going.
- 36:56Speaker 17: To bring a lot of order on the ground, a
- 36:57Speaker 17: lot of professionalism to it.
- 36:59Speaker 2: And excited to see this development.
- 37:01Speaker 17: But I think that what's important to note is that
- 37:04Speaker 17: we cannot let up, we cannot give in.
- 37:06Speaker 2: That's exactly what they want us to do. Again, we
- 37:09Speaker 2: have a mandate.
- 37:10Speaker 17: We must act on it to keep the American people
- 37:12Speaker 17: safe and to keep our country intact in terms of
- 37:16Speaker 17: our sovereignty, in terms of our border, and in the
- 37:18Speaker 17: operations that folks are leading at DHS.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Folks like Tom Homan is a critical lynchpin, and all
- 37:23Speaker 2: of that.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Made an interesting point there. Tom Homan. These days, the
- 37:30Speaker 3: left treat him like as they treat every conservative or
- 37:34Speaker 3: anyone on the Trump administration, as some fascist. But he
- 37:39Speaker 3: was being awarded medals by Barack Obama for his service
- 37:45Speaker 3: doing a very similar role to what he's doing right now,
- 37:48Speaker 3: and whilst he was doing it for the Obama administration,
- 37:51Speaker 3: he was a hero in the eyes of the media.
- 37:55Speaker 3: But now he is being smeared in the most ridiculous fashion.
- 38:02Speaker 17: You know, you're exactly right arounds me a lot of
- 38:04Speaker 17: the way in which you know, a lot of these
- 38:05Speaker 17: leftists organizations street President Trump. When he was just a
- 38:08Speaker 17: celebrity or a reality TV star or a billionaire businessman,
- 38:11Speaker 17: the NAACP was giving him awards alongside Rose of Parks,
- 38:15Speaker 17: and all of a sudden, when he ran for president,
- 38:16Speaker 17: he was, you know, avowed white supremacist ku klux klans
- 38:20Speaker 17: Bend and name only. It's absolutely insane, but it goes
- 38:23Speaker 17: to show these people actually don't really care about the truth.
- 38:26Speaker 2: They don't care about facts.
- 38:27Speaker 17: They'll call your racist just because it's convenient, not because
- 38:30Speaker 17: it's true.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Now, before you go, CJ, there's no doubt that IS's
- 38:34Speaker 3: public image is taking a battering because this sort of
- 38:38Speaker 3: coverage is relentless. But there are polls out and another
- 38:42Speaker 3: one came out yesterday showing that the majority of Americans
- 38:46Speaker 3: support the Trump administration's deportation of illegal immigrants. I suspect
- 38:51Speaker 3: the real figure there is considerably higher, CJ. But according
- 38:56Speaker 3: to this latest poll, fifty two percent against forty two percent,
- 39:00Speaker 3: and who we are opposed support illegal immigrants being deported.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's a clue majority.
- 39:07Speaker 17: And you know, historically we've seen pools, you know, underrepresent
- 39:11Speaker 17: the president and his supporters, and so I think that
- 39:13Speaker 17: number actually is a lot higher than you would imagine.
- 39:15Speaker 17: And so again I think that the President's tomorrow cho
- 39:18Speaker 17: on and continue to do the work that he pledged
- 39:21Speaker 17: to you when he was running for president, which was
- 39:23Speaker 17: to bring law and order and to secure our southern border.
- 39:26Speaker 17: Under President Joe Biden, we had no border. Under President Trump,
- 39:29Speaker 17: we have a border that is safe and secure. That's
- 39:32Speaker 17: exactly what the American people voted for, and I'm glad
- 39:35Speaker 17: to see it. C. J.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Pearson, thank you so much for your time to see you,
- 39:41Speaker 3: my friend. Still to come, King Charles is is an
- 39:45Speaker 3: ultimatum to Prince William and Princess Kate. Diddy glam Levy
- 39:50Speaker 3: has the details. Welcome back joining me now as veteran
- 40:04Speaker 3: broadcaster d D. Dun Levy Diddy. We are going to
- 40:07Speaker 3: discuss the Beckhams and Harry and Meghan shortly, but let's
- 40:11Speaker 3: start at the Australian Open. US tennis player Coco Golf's
- 40:16Speaker 3: angry Atverst is causing all sorts of debate. She has
- 40:19Speaker 3: blamed the cameras for filming her as she smashed her
- 40:23Speaker 3: racket in the Australian Open players area after losing in
- 40:27Speaker 3: straight sets. Is she right dedis should players have some
- 40:32Speaker 3: sort of privacy in that area?
- 40:35Speaker 6: No?
- 40:35Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 40:36Speaker 18: I mean none of us I think expects privacy anywhere
- 40:39Speaker 18: that we go, and not just the famous.
- 40:41Speaker 7: Look.
- 40:42Speaker 18: She wants to blame the cameras. She only the only
- 40:45Speaker 18: person she has to blame is herself. She thrill tantrum
- 40:48Speaker 18: because she lost, and Andy Roddick, who says that players
- 40:52Speaker 18: need to have a place where they can go to
- 40:53Speaker 18: quote detonate, is making excuses for her. We don't need
- 40:58Speaker 18: to build someplace where they can go and be a
- 41:00Speaker 18: cry baby.
- 41:01Speaker 17: Look.
- 41:01Speaker 18: Coco gov a few days ago, in her postmatch interview,
- 41:04Speaker 18: said that she hopes for peace in her country, which
- 41:07Speaker 18: is America, and yet her actions are exactly the opposite.
- 41:11Speaker 18: That wasn't very peaceful action at all. So I think
- 41:14Speaker 18: in the privacy of her own home she can do
- 41:16Speaker 18: whatever she likes, but in public I think have a
- 41:19Speaker 18: bit of restraint.
- 41:20Speaker 3: It's well, you know what, they can just hire a
- 41:24Speaker 3: space and smash their own rackets. It's their property. So
- 41:27Speaker 3: if they want to have some sort of a rage
- 41:29Speaker 3: room or whatever they want to call it. They're earning millions.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I'm sure that could be easily organized. I'd actually like
- 41:37Speaker 3: to buy tickets to something like that. It'd be more
- 41:39Speaker 3: entertaining than the tennis. But she is a very political
- 41:42Speaker 3: one this one. She has been again spouting off about
- 41:44Speaker 3: how hard it is to be a black woman in America.
- 41:48Speaker 3: I think she is the highest earning sportswoman in America
- 41:52Speaker 3: right now, if not, if not number one, she's right
- 41:56Speaker 3: up there. So I mean, yeah, let's just have a
- 41:59Speaker 3: reserve housepathy for some other folk. But Tennis Australia is
- 42:03Speaker 3: also coppying some criticism DT for not paying their ball kids.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Their ball kids are paid at other tennis tournaments, including
- 42:12Speaker 3: Wimbledon and the US Open, but the Australian Open. They
- 42:17Speaker 3: argue that these ball kids are compensated in other ways.
- 42:21Speaker 3: They get food and uniforms and the whole experience of
- 42:24Speaker 3: being a ball kid. Are they taking advantage year because
- 42:28Speaker 3: there would be so many kids desperate to do this
- 42:31Speaker 3: and desperate to do it that pay to do it
- 42:35Speaker 3: and you can get away with not paying them. But
- 42:37Speaker 3: they are performing an important role and I think they
- 42:39Speaker 3: should be paid.
- 42:40Speaker 18: No, I completely disagree. It's not Victorian days. These are
- 42:44Speaker 18: not five year olds being shoved up dirty chimneys to work.
- 42:47Speaker 3: It's voluntary.
- 42:48Speaker 18: They're choosing to do it. They've got the best seat
- 42:51Speaker 18: in the house for some of the finest tennis in
- 42:53Speaker 18: the world. No one's making them do it. It's as
- 42:57Speaker 18: Elisia Molik said, it's great on their CV and I
- 43:01Speaker 18: would have to guess that in this country, with all
- 43:03Speaker 18: the red tape the businesses have to go through it
- 43:05Speaker 18: to actually put them on the payroll for such a
- 43:06Speaker 18: short term job is not worth the effort. So I
- 43:10Speaker 18: think they should be grateful that they're getting this opportunity,
- 43:12Speaker 18: and I reckon if you ask the kids, they would
- 43:14Speaker 18: say they're perfectly happy to be doing it for nothing,
- 43:16Speaker 18: just for the goodies that they get to take away.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Well, there you have a d. D. Dune Levy supports
- 43:23Speaker 3: child labor, slave labor, child slave labor. That's going to
- 43:27Speaker 3: be the headline going for DD. Sticking with sport, Basketball
- 43:33Speaker 3: Australia is under fire for playing race politics on Australia Day.
- 43:38Speaker 3: They put out this ridiculous statement online. It got mocked
- 43:43Speaker 3: on x before they closed comments, which is always a
- 43:46Speaker 3: sign that you pick the wrong lane. But Dedie, I'm
- 43:49Speaker 3: going to say they are not alone. Just about every
- 43:52Speaker 3: AFL club did the same thing and the fans responses
- 43:56Speaker 3: were just as scathing. People are so of sports clubs
- 44:02Speaker 3: playing racial politics and it's not only divisive, but it's
- 44:08Speaker 3: on the wrong side of history. We've had a vote
- 44:11Speaker 3: on this. The overwhelming majority of the country wants to
- 44:14Speaker 3: celebrate Australia Day on January twenty six, but these sporting
- 44:18Speaker 3: clubs continue to pander to a very loud activist minority.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Well it's fulish.
- 44:24Speaker 19: In fact, I would go so far as to say
- 44:26Speaker 19: it's idiotic to put this post up because as we've
- 44:29Speaker 19: seen with the polls, as you've just mentioned that the
- 44:31Speaker 19: overwhelming majority of Australians supports celebrating Australia Day on January
- 44:36Speaker 19: the twenty six and to post this you're immediately alienating.
- 44:41Speaker 18: A large part of your fan base who do not
- 44:43Speaker 18: agree with you. And I noted that Shane Hill, one
- 44:46Speaker 18: of the great basketball players this country has ever produced,
- 44:49Speaker 18: he expressed his dislike of the posts that it wasn't
- 44:52Speaker 18: necessary and that players play for the pride of the
- 44:55Speaker 18: country and I think Basketball Australia would have served themselves
- 44:58Speaker 18: better to have post. It's something that engendered love of
- 45:02Speaker 18: country and pride in Australia. Like Shane Hill's words were,
- 45:06Speaker 18: I just think this post was done and they obviously
- 45:08Speaker 18: were trying to appear morally superior to the rest of us.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Yes, they've got to just have a rethink of that strategy.
- 45:18Speaker 3: And that goes for every AFL club because every year
- 45:22Speaker 3: now the backlash towards this sort of activism is getting
- 45:25Speaker 3: bigger and bigger. Fans sort of used to ignore it.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Now they're speaking up and saying enough. Now, let's get
- 45:32Speaker 3: to the Beckhams. Nicola Pelts and Brooklyn Beckham have returned
- 45:35Speaker 3: served in the PR battle against Brooklyn's family, sharing a
- 45:40Speaker 3: romantic video online and declaring their love for each other.
- 45:43Speaker 3: After Brooklyn's entire family mum Victoria, dad, David, as well
- 45:47Speaker 3: as the brothers Romeo, Cruz, sister Harper, they put on
- 45:51Speaker 3: a united front as a Victoria was honored in Paris.
- 45:57Speaker 3: They all walked out together the press rassing them about Brooklyn,
- 46:01Speaker 3: who is winning the PR battle Here Dedie, because you
- 46:05Speaker 3: can be sure spin doctors have been hired by both sides.
- 46:09Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 46:09Speaker 18: Well, and Brooklyn and Nicola Pelts are never going to
- 46:12Speaker 18: win this battle against Posh and Becks. Let's be honest,
- 46:16Speaker 18: we wouldn't have known who Brooklyn was unless he was
- 46:19Speaker 18: a Beckham. He's nothing without his parents' name. And they
- 46:23Speaker 18: have just gone on with business regardless. They've taken this
- 46:26Speaker 18: trip to Paris with their other children and their boys girlfriends,
- 46:30Speaker 18: and they've got matching Herme's handbags and luggage. They're living
- 46:33Speaker 18: the fine life. Nicola and Brooklyn, who really, as far
- 46:37Speaker 18: as I guess, have not contributed anything to this world,
- 46:40Speaker 18: are never ever going to be more popular.
- 46:42Speaker 3: And I do not that. In many of the comments on.
- 46:44Speaker 18: The coverage of this feud and postings online, people are
- 46:49Speaker 18: very much firmly in victorious camp on this, and so
- 46:52Speaker 18: am I.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you've got a side with the mum. When
- 46:57Speaker 3: a son goes out and publicly puts the sort of
- 46:59Speaker 3: statement that Brooklyn put out about his wedding and that
- 47:02Speaker 3: first dance, I mean that's what made up my mind
- 47:06Speaker 3: because I was very much on the fence on that one.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Before you go the Royals are in the news, When
- 47:13Speaker 3: are they not in the news. King Charles has delivered
- 47:16Speaker 3: an ultimatum to Princess Catherine and Prince William, demanding they
- 47:20Speaker 3: make peace with Harry and Meghan, or probably just Harry
- 47:25Speaker 3: the King asking Princess Kate to mediate talks between the
- 47:29Speaker 3: two brothers. Dedie, I am not sure how much of
- 47:33Speaker 3: this reporting I believe because King Charles himself has been
- 47:40Speaker 3: very cold towards Prince Harry. Why would he be demanding
- 47:44Speaker 3: that Prince William break bread with him?
- 47:47Speaker 18: Well, I luck you, I'm a little bit skeptical, but
- 47:49Speaker 18: I also think he's an elderly man. He's suffering from cancer,
- 47:54Speaker 18: he hasn't seen his grandchildren, Lily Bet and Archie. It's
- 47:58Speaker 18: been nearly six years that he's been virtually estranged from
- 48:02Speaker 18: his son. You would not be surprised if you did
- 48:06Speaker 18: think that he was thinking, what's the point of all
- 48:09Speaker 18: of this, Whatever this argument is, whatever this rift is,
- 48:12Speaker 18: is it worth it when he would be surely facing
- 48:15Speaker 18: the prospect that he doesn't know how much time he's
- 48:17Speaker 18: got left. So, whether this story is based in fact
- 48:21Speaker 18: or not, I do think Kate would be the one
- 48:23Speaker 18: to broker this piece deal and let's face it, parents
- 48:26Speaker 18: just want their babies all around them to be all friends.
- 48:28Speaker 18: So there may be a grain of truth to it.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Yes, perhaps a grain. Deddie dun Levy, thank you so
- 48:37Speaker 3: much for your time tonight, and that's all the time
- 48:40Speaker 3: we have. I'll see you tomorrow night at eleven. News
- 48:44Speaker 3: Night is up next
