A tragic murder-suicide unfolded in West Bank Demerara Saturday night when shop owner Ana Trotman, 42, and her husband John, 47, were both killed in a violent home incident. Police say an argument escalated into gunfire between 9:45 and 10:15 PM at their La Parfaite Harmonie residence, leaving both dead and a .32 caliber pistol found at the scene. A 59-year-old woman, also injured, is recovering at the regional hospital. Autopsies are pending as authorities continue their investigation.
