Transcript
- 0:02What it do, what it do, what it do?
- 0:05It is your boy Andrew Schultz. They gave Mr. Goody 2 shoes and
- 0:08who am I with? As always, Joseph Huggins AKA
- 0:11old man Huggy. Talk shit or get off the pod.
- 0:15Episode 180 South African bride. Welcome, motherfuckers.
- 0:26You're all choppy bro, you got that choppy chop connection.
- 0:30It's already saying my Internet connection is unstable.
- 0:33I don't what I maybe it's like where I'm at my house.
- 0:36I don't even get it. Do you have a router or are you
- 0:38like on the Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi bro, you got to just, you got to
- 0:42get just an Ethernet cable and just you can get my like flat
- 0:46white ones and just run it from there and you can just plug it
- 0:50in directly. Well, it's all the way in the
- 0:51garage. Yeah, I mean, I got one that's
- 0:54like 150 feet. They're like they're like 20
- 0:56bucks because you've been choppy, sloppy, but it's all
- 1:03good. It willpower through.
- 1:05OK. But what's up, man?
- 1:09What's going on? Same old shit took three days
- 1:14off last week, it was magical. And then went to some work event
- 1:19to the horse races for the Preakness and watched a bunch of
- 1:24people gamble on horses. Journalism One.
- 1:31Got a bunch of fucking sleep, bunch of sleep, which has been
- 1:36fantastic. And in my backyard they're
- 1:38putting this fence up. It's going to be a fortress,
- 1:41bro. I'll send you a picture.
- 1:42It's like almost a 10 foot tall fence.
- 1:44It's epic. So it's not finished, but I've
- 1:47just got mad steel pipes just like wrapped around my backyard.
- 1:53And then it'll be some big fuck off privacy fence.
- 1:56I'm really excited about it 'cause you got a lot of MAGA
- 1:59neighbors and people that always are watching what the fuck I'm
- 2:02doing when I'm doing yard work. Like, is he the help?
- 2:05I'm like, no, I'm the homeowner. So it'll be nice to have a fence
- 2:10nicer than everybody else around me.
- 2:12You know, just keeping up with the Joneses.
- 2:14I'm just the Jones you got to keep up with, you know what I'm
- 2:16saying? Yeah.
- 2:20No, it's there are times where I'll be like, I think I've said
- 2:24it before in the pub where I'm outside doing yard work and they
- 2:26like walk out arbitrarily, you know, like acting like they're
- 2:30watering their bushes and there's like no Bush there.
- 2:32They're just like spraying water on their driveway, like watching
- 2:35me. And then they go back inside
- 2:36when they realize I'm, I notice them.
- 2:40So it'll be nice to have my big fence up, have you know, a
- 2:45little bit of space, staying the fuck out of my yard.
- 2:48And obviously my voice is better.
- 2:50Yay. Yesterday is the best I've felt.
- 2:57So like 9 days I was just a shit show.
- 3:00Like everything hurt, my voice was gone, I was raspy as shit.
- 3:04And now, now it's back man yay. Just some time for my work
- 3:08presentation today. Nice, which no one wants to hear
- 3:13me talk because but so I did a good job.
- 3:16But they're like, all right, hurry up, hurry up, hurry up,
- 3:17hurry up. You did a good job.
- 3:20What was it about? Oh, I guess it doesn't.
- 3:22Matter presenting numbers and stuff.
- 3:25I mean, we all everyone does a good job, but you know, I'm just
- 3:30a character and I got jokes and I troll while I'm doing it.
- 3:33So you know, they don't they don't like it all the time got.
- 3:37You. You know, gotta keep it fresh.
- 3:40How are you, Sir? What's new with you?
- 3:43I'm good, just been chilling. I was up in the studio, Splash
- 3:49Pad Studios over the weekend. I.
- 3:51Was going to say dude you hit me with some links on some fire
- 3:54bangers and you've been posting them like crazy.
- 3:56Please elaborate. Well, I was writing a song.
- 4:02A sad song. Well, as you know, whatever.
- 4:07And so I was kind of just trying to figure out like it was
- 4:12supposed to be like a country song.
- 4:14And then then I just started like working on like some music
- 4:19and then I like got this like thing where you can get vocals
- 4:26like you can, you can get like AAI vocal to spit your lyrics or
- 4:31whatever. So I made a song and then got
- 4:36like the AI to say the lyrics on it and came out of straight
- 4:43banger. And then I was just like
- 4:44inspired. And then I just started just
- 4:46like I stayed up like all night, like just making music like all
- 4:51weekend. Well.
- 4:54That's good. That's good.
- 4:55It's productive Trump and bangers.
- 4:58AI bangers and the AI music cracks me up though.
- 5:01Like the AI country songs that are just like trolling ass
- 5:05country songs are so funny. They're so funny.
- 5:08Well, see, this is, I mean, this is like AI, like just like using
- 5:12the shit that I'm telling it to do.
- 5:13It's not like coming up with like the music, you know?
- 5:17No, I think some people like write these songs that are like,
- 5:19Hey, country sing this song and they're just absolutely absurd,
- 5:24like sing this song like XYZ or make this song dah dah dah.
- 5:28I mean, you can do a lot with the AI man.
- 5:32That's that's the AI stuff I like.
- 5:35That's sort of like this is great.
- 5:36This is a good tool for just like goofing off or being
- 5:39creative and doing stuff, you know, but I don't think they
- 5:41should, you know, be in control of the world.
- 5:46Some people would disagree. Any poker tails or?
- 5:52I went like didn't go well for me.
- 6:00Like I caught like top pair kings.
- 6:06Then the third king comes out. So I have trips at King Jack the
- 6:12Sasso at king 10 and a 10 comes out and so he got a full house.
- 6:18Yeah, 6% chance to win that hand that guy had.
- 6:23So do you crunch? Do you crunch those numbers like
- 6:25in your head where you're like, you know, like the percentage
- 6:29chance that they have of winning it versus like what you have?
- 6:33Yeah. OK, 'cause you always see that
- 6:36whenever you're like watching poker and they're like, oh, they
- 6:39got this percent chance or this percent chance.
- 6:41Well, it's like it's called expected value.
- 6:43So if this is how you can make decisions at the poker table.
- 6:47So let's say there's $50.00 in the pot.
- 6:56If somebody bets $10, that's 20 or not ten.
- 7:04Let's see, hold on 50. OK, let's say there's $50.00 in
- 7:12the pot, somebody bets. Yeah.
- 7:18OK, well, I'm trying to think, OK, so like a flush drop, for
- 7:22example, if you have a flush drop after the flop, you have a
- 7:2536% chance to hit it on the turn of the river, OK?
- 7:32So if, if somebody, OK, so there's $50.00 in the pot or is
- 7:38there, OK, how about this, there's $150.00 in the pot.
- 7:40Somebody that's 50 that's a that's so there's 200 now,
- 7:49right? I'm getting 4 to one on my
- 7:53money. If I if I call with 50, right?
- 7:56Because if I bet 50, I'm betting 50 to get $200 because there's
- 8:00$200 in there. Now because there's 150 in
- 8:03there, the guy bet 50. So my decision is do I want to
- 8:08put $50.00 in to make a $200 based on a flush draw?
- 8:14Well, if I'm getting 4 to one on my money and I only have and I
- 8:17have a 36% chance to hit it, if you play that hand a million
- 8:24times, you'll, you'll make money right 'cause you're getting 4 to
- 8:291. So if it, so like basically you
- 8:31want to get to at least three to one.
- 8:35If it's, if it's that, if you, if you have a 33% chance to hit
- 8:39it, you want to have make three times as much that's breaking
- 8:42even. So anything more than that it's
- 8:45a good bet. Anything less, fold.
- 8:50OK, that makes sense. I've just always wondered that,
- 8:53'cause you'll see, like I said, the percentages pop up.
- 8:56I know there's got to be some sort of like internal numbers
- 8:59crunching that happens. Well, then I thought I told you
- 9:02like how you do it, right. So figure out how many cards are
- 9:07that, like let's say you're on like to make your hand, right,
- 9:11How many cards are left in the deck?
- 9:15So it depends on how many players are at the table.
- 9:18So like with, oh, it doesn't really matter how many people
- 9:21are at the table. OK, so with a flush drive, the
- 9:23reason why I know it's 36%, there's nine.
- 9:26So there's 13 cards at each suit, right?
- 9:29So if you're on a flush drive, that means there's four of that
- 9:33suit that's already out there, right?
- 9:35Somewhere either on the board or in your hand.
- 9:37So that means 4 -, 13, there's nine, let's say they're
- 9:41diamonds. There's nine diamonds left
- 9:42somewhere. They could have been dealt out
- 9:44to somebody. They could be in the burn, they
- 9:46could be at the bottom of the deck, the top of the deck.
- 9:47You don't know where they are, they're just out there.
- 9:50There's nine diamonds left. So if after the flop, if you
- 9:56whatever, however many cards that you are, that would make
- 9:59your hand times that by 4 and that's the percentage that of it
- 10:06to come out and then after the turn times it by two.
- 10:09So if you're on a flush draw and all that's left is the river,
- 10:14you have an 18% chance to hit it.
- 10:17OK. OK.
- 10:20That makes sense. Interesting.
- 10:23Yeah. That's where I, I feel like
- 10:27that's where I lose it all the time.
- 10:29Is I'm just like, yeah, well, I just, I'm like, I'm just going
- 10:31to roll with it. Well, yeah, I'm too, I'm, I'm
- 10:33too, too committed to this pot to not keep going.
- 10:36Right. And then there's, I mean,
- 10:38there's the whole other aspect is like depends who you're
- 10:40playing against. You know, it's like, you know,
- 10:42you might make certain decisions, you might like gamble
- 10:45a little bit more based upon like how loose this game is or
- 10:49how tight it is, you know, whatever it is.
- 10:51Yeah, yeah, I got you. That's pretty cool.
- 10:55I'll I'll keep you updated. I need to get into this this dad
- 10:59this all dad poker game, this like, you know, early 50s guy
- 11:05poker game and see how it goes. Supposed to have one sometime
- 11:09next month. So when they pick it back up.
- 11:12So I'm going to try to go go play.
- 11:14I I've always wanted to do some sort of poker live stream, but
- 11:22it's like a house game and you would set up like a, a studio in
- 11:27like a room and you could have a table and like have the works
- 11:31and just have random people on, like random motherfuckers on
- 11:36have a couple regulars and then have have different people on
- 11:39all the time and make it like a poker game slash, like, you
- 11:42know, conversation. So podcast slash just live
- 11:46stream. I always thought that would be a
- 11:47cool idea. You know, You know, they do that
- 11:51with like celebrities and stuff, but it's always like poker stars
- 11:54or something. But find like some random Joe
- 11:57Schmo motherfuckers and have them on and play cards.
- 12:00Obviously they have to sign some waivers and shit, but I've
- 12:02always thought that could be pretty fucking cool.
- 12:05You'd have to keep the locale under wraps though, so you don't
- 12:07get you know, or get raided. Or you could just film it in
- 12:11Vegas. True, but I mean, no, it'd be
- 12:16cool if it was like, oh, we're not supposed to do that here,
- 12:18but we're doing it anyways. Well, how sustainable is that?
- 12:22Decently use AVPN. You know it's possible.
- 12:27Any. In the new words of Kevin
- 12:28Garnett, anything is possible. No.
- 12:31OK, Kevin. Like the Eagles going
- 12:33back-to-back Big facts shout out.
- 12:38You want to get into these therapy questions?
- 12:42You ready? Ready, spaghetti.
- 12:47All right, therapy question #1 should we be more worried about
- 12:51leaving the planet or saving the planet because that, you know,
- 12:55we hear Elon Musk talk about we got to go to Mars.
- 12:58Oh, we got to do this or all the planet.
- 13:00The sun's going to burn out, or the sun's going to explode and
- 13:03we're all going to die, which is millions, hundreds of millions
- 13:07of years away. But either way, what do you
- 13:09think is more pivotal to the survival of the human race?
- 13:12Saving this planet or getting the fuck out?
- 13:16Well, like the Mars thing is stupid as fuck, like 'cause if
- 13:21we can, if we, if we can fix Mars to the point where we can
- 13:25live there, then we can fix the the Earth.
- 13:28So we can just stay here. Makes no sense.
- 13:31But like, if like the sun was going to explode and that's the
- 13:34only reason, Like that's why Earth's going to die or what,
- 13:38not be habitable. Yeah, then I'm obviously about
- 13:43get the fuck out of here. But I get like, I'm saying like
- 13:48the same things we would need to do to figure out how to live on
- 13:51Mars, you could just do here. So it's like not one or the
- 13:55other. See, yeah, I feel like saving
- 13:58the planet is more important than it is being worried about
- 14:02leaving. Because let's say the sun lives
- 14:05out its life cycle and explodes and dies.
- 14:07Number one will be way far gone by the time that happens.
- 14:10Human civilization might have died out before that fucking
- 14:13happens. There's probably a higher
- 14:15likelihood of that happening than it is for humans to see the
- 14:20sun explode or burnouts where we don't have any more like
- 14:23sunlight and it becomes like a cold, desolate ice planet.
- 14:27Like there's the likelihood of a human seeing that is has to be
- 14:33so small on a scale, like on a percentage scale of us even
- 14:38being alive to see that because that's honestly like hundreds of
- 14:41millions of years away. Like they when they talk about
- 14:43it or Elon Musk talks about it, it's kind of fucking stupid
- 14:48because it's way far away. So I feel like in some ways
- 14:50we're wasting our time. Now, I'm not saying in investing
- 14:53in and trying to understand and getting us to the point to where
- 14:57we could leave this planet long distance and go explore deep
- 15:01space if we needed to. I think that's worth worth it.
- 15:05But in like the long run to get stay ahead of that curve.
- 15:08But when they're like, oh, we got to get to Mars in five
- 15:12years, I'm like, shut the fuck up.
- 15:13Like, no, we don't. There's no, there's no point to
- 15:16that. 5. Years.
- 15:18I'm just saying whenever. I mean like what do you mean get
- 15:22to Mars? Like humans, you mean?
- 15:24Yeah, like humans going to Mars. We're going to build bases there
- 15:28and we're going to figure out how to terraform the planet.
- 15:31Right now, that sounds like a waste of time.
- 15:33Yeah, I agree. And resources and dis manpower.
- 15:36That's the thing though, it's like, it's like, am I for like
- 15:40exploration of space and shit? Of course, but like, but you're
- 15:43right, like there are only so many resources and we don't need
- 15:48to be using them just so like, 'cause Elon has like can't get
- 15:52hard anymore or something. Like maybe my Dick will work on
- 15:56Mars, I just need to rub some Mars rocks on my Dick and then
- 15:59it'll work. Like no dude, it's gonna take
- 16:01way more than that. This blue chews not working
- 16:04anymore. I I.
- 16:05I find it hard to believe that like he can't like like dude,
- 16:09this guy puts chips in people's brains and gets them to like
- 16:12walk again. Like he, like he can't get his
- 16:15own Dick to work, like come. On I think that's hyperbole.
- 16:17I don't know if he's gotten anybody to walk again, because I
- 16:20don't want somebody can play. I know what somebody can play
- 16:22Call of Duty and use a mouse with his brain.
- 16:26Allegedly, that's all we know, but I guarantee you those that
- 16:31dudes like this chip itches. This sucks.
- 16:34Like I I don't I just. Don't.
- 16:35No, there wasn't. Yeah, there was the first guy,
- 16:37like they did have to go back in and do it again 'cause something
- 16:41messed up or something, but he was all about it.
- 16:45Of course, I mean, I'm not to be a Dick, but I'm pretty sure that
- 16:48guy was, like, borderline veggie.
- 16:50So it's not like he's, like, doing much like.
- 16:52Yeah, they're like, yeah, you're like quadriplegic.
- 16:55Do you want to be able to use a computer?
- 16:57And he's like, hell yeah. Like, that would solve so many
- 16:59of my problems. All right, sweet.
- 17:01We're going to put this in your brain.
- 17:03Hey, what do you say? Like, what else?
- 17:04What else do I, what else do I have to lose?
- 17:07My ability to my ability to walk?
- 17:09Like, that's been gone. Like, would Greg Abbott risk it?
- 17:12Maybe he might. There's some people like that.
- 17:15It's like you could find somebody who's in need or is
- 17:20like physically disabled and convince them to put a microchip
- 17:23in their brain. If you know in a couple updates
- 17:26you'll be able to walk like it's that's an easy sell for this
- 17:28fucking guy. Like it's not, it's not like
- 17:31he's finding like, hey, sports athlete, hey, person who's got
- 17:35all their, you know, who's all there.
- 17:37Let's let's talk about putting this chip in your brain.
- 17:40They would be like, fuck you and they'd walk away like he's it's,
- 17:43you know, I don't, it's I don't know, it's kind of corny.
- 17:49It's I guess it's cool, but it's dumb.
- 17:51So with that, the deep space exploration, hell yeah,
- 17:57terraforming planets with no atmosphere, it sounds like a
- 18:02waste of fucking time. It's honestly some like boomer
- 18:05ass lame ass Gen. X shit where they're like, I
- 18:09thought we would already be living on Mars.
- 18:11I watched Total Recall so many times in the 80s and I'm pissed
- 18:14that we're not there. So I'm going to make it happen.
- 18:17Like they're almost disappointed with the future.
- 18:19So they're that they what they thought it would be.
- 18:22I remember watching the escape from New York and I thought New
- 18:25York City was going to be a prison and prison island and St.
- 18:29Bliskin was going to have to save the president from fucking.
- 18:32I don't know what's. Oh my God what's his name?
- 18:38How am I forgetting his name from Shaft?
- 18:42He did Shaft and truck turn. No no no, the original.
- 18:46The original 1. Anyways, I gotta go, I gotta go
- 18:51save the president from a prison.
- 18:52Prison island. Like why isn't this happened
- 18:54yet? Why?
- 18:55Why are we not on Mars like in Total Recall and there's not
- 18:58chicks with three boobs? I have to make this happen.
- 19:01Like, that's honestly what the this sounds like.
- 19:04It's some weird ass Gen. X shit, Some weird ass boomer
- 19:07shit. They're pissed off cars don't
- 19:09fly yet. They're pissed off that that we
- 19:11can't, you know, turn coal into gold or whatever other bullshit
- 19:14that they were trying to do where they were sold when they
- 19:17watch some Schwarzenegger movie. And now they want to try to just
- 19:21like force it to happen. And it makes no sense,
- 19:25absolutely no sense. But it sounds cool.
- 19:29So people are like, hell yeah, that sounds tight.
- 19:33I want to go to Mars. Fuck yeah.
- 19:35It's like, no, you don't. I don't suck ass.
- 19:38Mars would suck ass. Oh, you could probably find some
- 19:42guys in like some UFC or Affliction T-shirts and a bunch
- 19:46of pants they buy at Buckle who'd be all for going.
- 19:50Tomorrow. Yeah, buckle still exists and
- 19:53they are they are responsible for some of the worst dressed
- 19:57people just maybe not out there. I think that L as like the LA
- 20:01California areas move past it. But oh, go go into Grapevine
- 20:05Mills mall. You got the buckle is like 2
- 20:07storefronts. Is this they've expanded
- 20:11expansion part phase three? Fall, fall of 2025, they have a
- 20:16sign up front. Like that's how tacky.
- 20:19It's so fucking tacky that that those people, hell yeah, dude,
- 20:24they're in me and my von Dutch hat.
- 20:26We're going to Mars. It's like, cool dude, awesome
- 20:30Randy, go have a fucking. Blast.
- 20:32Why? Why Randy?
- 20:34Randy's just a dad name. Randy's just a dad name.
- 20:37You don't really hear that much anymore.
- 20:38Anybody who's named Randall now would just go by Randall.
- 20:43They're not going to be like call me Randy.
- 20:44Like that's not you know, it's just not happening.
- 20:49That is my go. That is one of my go to cornball
- 20:53names though, is Randy. That's I noticed it is or Keith,
- 20:59Kevin, sit down, chill the fuck out.
- 21:02Like that's but those are dad names.
- 21:05Therapy question #2 You come in contract with, in contact with
- 21:10an unknown tribe. Nobody knows they exist.
- 21:14You're wandering through the jungle for whatever fucking
- 21:17reason. I'll know you're a white guy and
- 21:19you're wandering through the jungle and you come across an
- 21:22unknown tribe. What do you do?
- 21:24Oh. Man, I don't know.
- 21:31I mean, I, I try to figure out if they think I'm God and then
- 21:34play into that. But if they don't, I mean, it's
- 21:38like. I wasn't.
- 21:40They're they're not, they're not cannibals.
- 21:43OK. Cannibals are not going to kill
- 21:46you or eat you. That's pretty much all you know.
- 21:49Maybe I showed my like my the tattoo of my dog on my arm and
- 21:53just, you know, maybe like relate.
- 21:57They're like, oh, that's cool, he's got a dog.
- 21:59Hey, that's 2. Oh, you know what I can do?
- 22:03I could pull up ChatGPT and then have it like create an image of
- 22:11them, blow their fucking minds. Then they'll think I'm God, I'll
- 22:16take a picture of them, upload it to the ChatGPT, have them
- 22:19make a fucking yeah yeah. So would use AI to trick the
- 22:24tribe and your God And then what?
- 22:27I mean do you just live with them?
- 22:28Live amongst them as their God. Of course.
- 22:31Enslave them. Right, Right.
- 22:32That's what you have to do. Slave.
- 22:37Give him like, give him like, yeah, syphilis or something.
- 22:44Jesus, this is rolling up on the tribe with syphilis.
- 22:47What's up guys? Yeah, I don't.
- 22:49I'd have to go get it and then and.
- 22:50Then come back and then give it. Yeah.
- 22:51I'll be right back. Give me a SEC.
- 22:53I'll be right back. I gotta go.
- 22:54Hit up the red light district. Let me see what?
- 22:56Let me see what I can bring back for you.
- 23:01Yeah, I mean, I would try to communicate with them.
- 23:05I wouldn't want to trick them into thinking I'm their guy.
- 23:07One thing I wouldn't. Well, I'm just, I'm doing that
- 23:09like out of like a defense like I'm not.
- 23:11I'm not going to take on a whole tribe and they might be hostile
- 23:14unless they thought I was gut. And they wouldn't, like you
- 23:18couldn't get away from them. They'd probably.
- 23:20I like their chances on running the average person down like
- 23:24that's. Obviously know the area.
- 23:26Yeah, like they they're pretty. They're pretty cunning, so you'd
- 23:30have to try to ingratiate yourself with them.
- 23:32One thing I wouldn't do is I wouldn't knock them out when I
- 23:35did leave. I wouldn't tell anybody else
- 23:36where they were if they were chill.
- 23:38I mean, that depends on that depends on how things go.
- 23:41Yeah, if they were chill, I would be like, hey, leave, I
- 23:44could say something, but I'm not.
- 23:46But if they suck, I'm going to be like, hey, they're right
- 23:48there. They're like right over there.
- 23:50Just keep walking 50 miles. That way you'll bump into them.
- 23:53They're fucking weird. This guy named Randy, I don't
- 23:57know why he's there. He's tricked him into thinking
- 24:00that he's their God, everybody. That's Andy, not Randy bro.
- 24:04On my side it's frozen but maybe others.
- 24:10It's fucked up. Someone's got to put a stop to
- 24:14it. But I definitely would try to
- 24:18vibe with them because at that point I'm I've stumbled across
- 24:21them and it'd be kind of rude to just like leave, you know, be
- 24:24like peace out, like, oh shit. And you just like turn around
- 24:26and walk away. I think that would make them
- 24:28hustle. Maybe they give me cool gifts,
- 24:33precious gems, gold, who knows. Yeah, like when Captain Cook, I
- 24:39think James Cook, maybe. I don't know, Captain Cook, he
- 24:43landed in Hawaii like Hawaiians for the first time.
- 24:46Yeah, they're, they were like doing a lot of trading and then
- 24:48they were like robbing shit. I forget what.
- 24:50I think maybe like copper or something, some sort of metal
- 24:53that they had. They just kept stealing like off
- 24:55his boat when they were like sleeping 'cause he like posted
- 24:58up in Hawaii like for like months.
- 25:00Yeah, and they're just like taking ganking and shit.
- 25:05But that would be spooky as fuck if you were just wandering and
- 25:08stumbled across an unknown tribe nobody knew existed.
- 25:12That would be kind of terrifying.
- 25:14And those still exist. I mean, there's a there's a N
- 25:18Sentinel Island, which we've talked about where it's like
- 25:20forbidden to contact them, forbidden to go there.
- 25:24They don't know how many people live there.
- 25:25It could be 50 people, it could be like 800.
- 25:29They have no idea. People get murdered going to
- 25:33North Sentinel Island in the Indian Ocean.
- 25:36It's like a militarized zone where if you like go up there,
- 25:39they'll like shoot your fucking boats down.
- 25:41But there's been they throw Spears and shit at helicopters.
- 25:44There's one story where two guys got marooned on the island
- 25:48because there's a shipwreck and they wound up there and they
- 25:50were both murdered on the beach. Like landed on the beach.
- 25:54Oh man, we just made it to the land.
- 25:56I'm so glad we didn't drown in the ocean and just got murdered
- 26:00by those guys. Then there was a crazy Christian
- 26:03missionary guy who's like, I'm going to go get spread the word
- 26:06of Christianity. He showed up and he got murdered
- 26:09on the rocks. So I got you can't really fuck
- 26:13with them. But you know, in like the Amazon
- 26:15and stuff, there's still tribes that no one knows exists.
- 26:18There has to be. There has.
- 26:20To be. There, I mean, mathematically,
- 26:22there are tribes that no one knows about.
- 26:24There has to be. There's no way.
- 26:26There's no way. It's insane that there is like I
- 26:30like, unless they're living in like I get like us not being
- 26:33able to explore the ocean like we want to, but you're telling
- 26:37me, come on, man, I mean like like if you're telling me
- 26:40there's like a cure for every disease in the Amazon, we don't
- 26:43know about that. That's probably true, but
- 26:47people. Yeah, I feel like they're
- 26:49probably living in some. Ewok Bin Laden.
- 26:51We got Bin Laden, dude. Living in some Ewok village in
- 26:56the trees, the same like in the Congo, like the jungles of the
- 26:59Congo, there's we discover new animals every fucking day,
- 27:03insects that we never knew existed, but not.
- 27:05Humans, not humans. No, I mean I'm that ass ChatGPT,
- 27:11but I'm not. Let me see, are there?
- 27:24We're we're now asking. Undocumented there there yes
- 27:29there are many uncontacted tribes so uncontracted.
- 27:32But the estimates suggest between 100 and two 100 and 200
- 27:37such tribes either non contacted or unknown where they are.
- 27:42So they could be up to 200. Unknown where they are, but
- 27:46they're known that they're they are.
- 27:49I mean, you find, you find like a chocolate laying around in the
- 27:52jungle and you're like, who's the fucks is this?
- 27:54Who's walking around out here in these homemade sandals?
- 27:58Are we like doing these people a service by not contacting them?
- 28:03Are we sure? It's like like, 'cause like
- 28:05think about it. Like what if like, I don't know,
- 28:08like you're like someone's dad kidnapped his whole family, took
- 28:12him to like the jungle. And then just like they kept
- 28:14breeding and it was like a cult like type situation.
- 28:18But it just went on for so long that like now we're like, oh,
- 28:23that's just how they are. We just like, can't, you know,
- 28:26it's like, do they, like, do you think that they'd still be in
- 28:29the jungle, like fearing for their lives, like, for like
- 28:32tigers to like, eat them? Like, if they knew like that,
- 28:35they could go to like The Four Seasons.
- 28:39I don't know. Are we kind of hiding hiding the
- 28:44real world from them? Yeah, but I mean, I feel like
- 28:46they've hide. They've hid themselves from the
- 28:48real. World they don't know, they have
- 28:50no idea. They're just, they're just
- 28:51surviving. That's like the movie Jungle to
- 28:54jungle, but Tim. Allen, shut up.
- 28:58Yeah, you you know that there's two movies that came out at the
- 29:01exact same time. 1's called Little Indian Big City and one's
- 29:04called Jungle de Jungle and they're the exact same movie but
- 29:07with different actors. I didn't know that.
- 29:10If you remember how we were talking about like Dante's peak
- 29:12and Volcano. Yeah, Dante's.
- 29:14The same movie and they came out at the exact same time.
- 29:17Yeah, there's little little Indian big city and jungle de
- 29:20jungle. If you watch, it's the same shit
- 29:22is like Suns from, you know, like was like, I don't know,
- 29:27whatever, like. In jungle to jungle, he's like a
- 29:31is he a Is he a kid of color or is he just like a blonde?
- 29:34No. Is it a white?
- 29:36Boy, is it. Is it a Justin Taylor Thomas?
- 29:39Jonathan Taylor. Yeah, JTT Jonathan Taylor.
- 29:43Thomas No, because it isn't it Tim Allen, though?
- 29:45Yeah, Tim Allen plays the dad, for sure.
- 29:47That was like Pete, Tim Allen. We're just so wild.
- 29:50That's why I thought it was JTT because he's in home improvement
- 29:54with. Tim, what's wild to me is that
- 29:55Tim Allen still did like time hard Time for trafficking
- 29:59cocaine back in the day and then like narked a bunch of people
- 30:01out and then turned it into a comedy career.
- 30:05That's pretty badass. Talk about a blow up.
- 30:08I actually saw jungle to jungle in the movie theaters as a kid.
- 30:11Shout out. Yeah, it was not that good.
- 30:14Did did you see that Sinbad genie movie too in the theaters,
- 30:17you liar. Dude, I could have sworn I think
- 30:21I figured out what it was though.
- 30:23Is there is 'cause there is Kazaam for Shaq When Shaq plays
- 30:31the genie, there's steel where Shaq plays.
- 30:36I mean he doesn't plays plays Shaq in a metal outfit where
- 30:40he's like, he's like in love with some white chick in a
- 30:43wheelchair who's good at welding.
- 30:46Wild movie. I think there's a movie where
- 30:50Sinbad dresses up as a genie. No hold on.
- 30:54And not where he plays a genie. Like he's dressed up as a genie
- 30:58for something in the movie I want to say it's for.
- 31:01See you think this movie. Exists I haven't watched first
- 31:04kid so so now. So not no, he's not a genie in
- 31:07First Kid dude. He's a Secret Service agent.
- 31:09I know I'm talking about for Halloween, he dresses up as a
- 31:12genie. You think this?
- 31:16I have a rewatched First Kid, another great movie that I saw
- 31:19in the movie theaters. Yeah.
- 31:21I mean, Sinbad was only in so many movies that were that
- 31:25involved. Kids and you've you've now
- 31:26made-up to 1 where he's a genie and one where he dresses as a
- 31:31genie, but he's not a genie. I'm saying I think that that
- 31:34happens in first kid but I'm not sure.
- 31:37I could have sworn I saw a movie where.
- 31:39Simbad, I'm happy to do research for the pod and watch.
- 31:41I'm not the old. I'm not the I'm not the only
- 31:44person who. Got I saw that in the theaters
- 31:45too, now that I think about it. I'm not the only person who got
- 31:48hit with that Mandela Effect shit on that, because I'm not
- 31:51the only person who could have sworn there was a Sinbad movie
- 31:54with him playing a genie. I'm not the only person.
- 31:58I was the only person like where he's had to answer questions
- 32:03about it multiple times for people who accused Sinbad of
- 32:06lying. I would have been one of those
- 32:08people. I would have been like, you're
- 32:10fucking lying dude. I saw it.
- 32:13I didn't seen it. So when they came out with the
- 32:16Shazam Marvel movie where the little white boy plays an adult
- 32:19white kid, but he's a little kid and he's like, oh, I got all
- 32:22these superpowers, stupid as shit.
- 32:24That movie. I was like, they stole that
- 32:26title from that Sinbad movie. It's the first thing that popped
- 32:30in my head when I saw that movie come out.
- 32:33It's like they stole that. They stole that from that Sinbad
- 32:35movie. I was wrong, totally wrong.
- 32:40But we should rewatch first kid, because that movie's great.
- 32:44And then the kid who is the main character in that, there's a
- 32:49whole conspiracy wildness about that kid.
- 32:53He's also with the same. Yeah, he's also the same kid in
- 32:56Blank Check. He's.
- 32:57Huge blank check. He's huge in cryptocurrency now,
- 33:02like big time in cryptocurrency and like has all these like NFT
- 33:07shit like that dude's made a shit, shit ton of money.
- 33:10What's his name? Brock something What?
- 33:14Do you mean he's huge in crypto? What does that even fucking
- 33:16mean? He just made a lot of money.
- 33:20Yeah, like he's made a fuck ton of money and what's his name?
- 33:25Brock Pierce. Yes, Brock Pierce.
- 33:27And yeah, now he's he's yeah, works in cryptocurrency
- 33:31industry. He's a Co founder of Tether.
- 33:34Are you kidding? Oh my God.
- 33:37What? That's hilarious, yeah.
- 33:40He's one of the Co founders of Tether.
- 33:42He's like, fucking. Loaded Jesus Christ.
- 33:44But he did a bunch of other weird shit whenever he was a
- 33:47kid. He was younger.
- 33:52There was like this whole concept of doing like MTV
- 33:57interactive shit for kids, like this TV channel.
- 33:59There's a really good documentary called The
- 34:01Conspiracy of Silence that like swirls around him when he was a
- 34:06kid and all these weird people, weird adults who were around him
- 34:11at the time, some of whom went to prison, some of whom did like
- 34:14X-Men and X-Men too, and are directors.
- 34:18But all this weird, like with weird allegations with adults
- 34:21and kids. And he was like a in like a part
- 34:24of that shit where he was one of these kid actors.
- 34:27He was like kind of balled up in it.
- 34:29So it's super interesting actually.
- 34:32And then the the idea that they had was actually way ahead of
- 34:36its time, but it a collapsing the fuck out.
- 34:39But he's always been somebody who's like, I got a fresh idea.
- 34:42I got a new idea trying to start businesses.
- 34:44And then he got huge in crypto. That's why I mean, like he's big
- 34:46in crypto. It's like he's a Co founder of
- 34:48tether. I don't know if it gets any
- 34:50bigger than that. No, it really doesn't like if
- 34:53you think about like starting a coin because there's only,
- 34:56there's only so many that are like even like remotely like
- 35:01have any utility to them. And I'd say Tether, I guess the
- 35:06biggest stable coin, stable coin is like where they tie the price
- 35:10of the cryptocurrency to something, usually the dollar.
- 35:14So for every Tether is worth a dollar, only a dollar, and it'll
- 35:20only be worth a dollar. So if the dollar's more
- 35:23valuable, one day your tether's more valuable.
- 35:26But that's it. And we actually talked about it
- 35:29on the podcast. The irony when he was a guest
- 35:32and when the Super producer was still here, it was like on
- 35:34episode 5 and we were talking about like, does Tether have
- 35:38'cause like at the time, I think it was like some little amount
- 35:42of money. It was like $600 million or, or
- 35:44something. And that they set.
- 35:47So like, so if everybody cashed in their tether, could they do
- 35:50they have the 600 million to give to people and they didn't.
- 35:54And now it's worth like sixty $100 billion or something crazy
- 35:59market cap. So egg on our face because we
- 36:05thought Tether was like a fucking Ponzi scheme.
- 36:08I mean, still might be. In 2000, he was named in a civil
- 36:14lawsuit alleged of sexual abuse, but he was never criminally
- 36:18charged. Like, he's got all sorts of
- 36:22weird. There's a Hollywood Reporter
- 36:25article, the strange saga of Jeffrey Epstein's link to Brock
- 36:28Pierce. He wants to, he's a billionaire
- 36:32now, but he wants to now be, he wants to be a yeah, yeah, he's
- 36:38yeah. Associate of embattled X-Men
- 36:40director. So he was like a part of this
- 36:44group of kid actors who would go to these parties and drink and
- 36:47do all this weird shit. Ryan Singer was a director who
- 36:52did like X-Men, X-Men 2 did a bunch of other stuff like the
- 36:55original X-Men with like Halle Berry, a storm, arguably one of
- 36:58the best castings ever and was tied to all of that.
- 37:02And then kind of got caught up in this like swirl shit.
- 37:05But he was a kid at the time, so it was almost like it wasn't
- 37:09like his fault, but he was like around for some of this weird
- 37:12shit. Then he kind of fizzled off and
- 37:14was always looking for something and then hit it huge on the
- 37:18crypto and now he's talking about running for president.
- 37:20So there you go. I thought it was called a water
- 37:25slide. In his, in his, in his room, in
- 37:27blank check. And he was also in the Mighty
- 37:29Ducks and he's like a total douche bag of Mighty Ducks, so
- 37:32go figure, maybe. Cake Eater.
- 37:42Therapy question #3 And this is like probably be a little bit
- 37:47longer of a topic because we'll bring up the fact that Joe Biden
- 37:50has has been announced that he has metastasized cancer.
- 37:57Crazy stage 4, hyper aggressive, and there's been all sorts of
- 38:02wild shit being said about it. But therapy question #3 have
- 38:06politics become too tribal and too inhumane on both sides, not
- 38:12just one side? We obviously lean left, but I'm
- 38:15just curious, is it just gotten out of control?
- 38:17Because if it was Trump who it came out that he had like ass
- 38:21cancer, I don't think we'd be that upset about it.
- 38:26And that's. Bro, he almost got assassinated.
- 38:31I wasn't that upset about it. Allegedly.
- 38:38I guess, I mean, I mean, yeah, obviously like on the right.
- 38:41I don't know why you're saying both sides like I mean.
- 38:45'Cause it goes both ways, it's OK.
- 38:47So it's like if you have like a toxic, like, like you have a
- 38:50toxic abusive husband and so you're like super anti the
- 38:57husband, does that make you too tribal and inhumane?
- 39:02It's like we have like a crazy right wing fucking lunatic
- 39:06party. So you have to forgive people if
- 39:09they don't want to, like if they don't like them on the left.
- 39:13But at the same time, I mean, like, you know, like Bill Maher
- 39:16says this shit. It's like you like, you know,
- 39:18you can hate Trump, but like you can't hate everybody who voted
- 39:21for Trump. And I like, I agree with that.
- 39:23It's like, I don't give a shit if somebody's voted for Trump,
- 39:26like at all, because it's like whatever, it's like that's
- 39:30that's your choice. Like if you're like in my face,
- 39:33like MAGA asshole, Well, that's different.
- 39:35But like if, if it's like my mom voted for Trump, but like that
- 39:38sucks. She did that.
- 39:40But like, I don't like hold it against her.
- 39:43Oh, I don't know, maybe because it's my mom.
- 39:45Maybe I do, but you know somebody like that.
- 39:47Yeah, yeah, I know. I mean, that makes sense.
- 39:50I, I would say definitely, and it's definitely on both sides
- 39:53because like you just said, it's President Trump allegedly almost
- 39:56got assassinated and there's a lot of people.
- 40:00But that guy, that guy was going to no, that guy was going to try
- 40:03to assassinate body. He looked up like when the
- 40:05Democratic National Convention was where it was.
- 40:07We looked up, you know, he was looking up like different, like
- 40:10people to like, he was just looking to kill somebody.
- 40:13Well, I know that. What I'm saying is that happened
- 40:16and we weren't like, Oh my God. We were like, oh shit.
- 40:19Yeah, 'cause he's an asshole. Like when I.
- 40:21OK, what's so funny is like when I was a copier salesperson, I
- 40:26guess the first time I had out of college.
- 40:28So think about that's how long Trump's been around.
- 40:31Well, that's how long I was in college too, but I went I was in
- 40:36the office. I just like got hired and my
- 40:40manager, he was like part owner, but he's like also like the head
- 40:43sales manager. He's like the nicest dude in the
- 40:46world. Like like just super friendly
- 40:49guy and like just like wholesome.
- 40:52He says to me, this is like when Trump's running for our for
- 40:55president the first time. He's like, he's like me and my
- 40:58buddy JT who got hired on the same day.
- 41:00And but we're just like randomly, we're just like doing
- 41:02something in the office. But he goes, he goes guys.
- 41:05Like I think, or maybe it was right after he got elected, he
- 41:08goes, I think Donald Trump might get assassinated.
- 41:11He's like, 'cause he's such an asshole.
- 41:14And he like looks both left and right, like for saying the word
- 41:17asshole, 'cause like, that's how nice of a guy is.
- 41:19But even he was saying he's like, he's such an asshole that
- 41:21he might get assassinated. And that was fucking almost 10
- 41:25years ago. No, I mean, but devil's
- 41:31advocate, we've also seen the Democrats do super goofy shit,
- 41:38stupid, weird shit like Thor. That's why I say it's both
- 41:42sides. Like I think Bernie Sanders just
- 41:43did an interview with with the other Schultz on his podcast and
- 41:48he was like, do he was like, do you think that the Democrats are
- 41:52also a threat to democracy because they're like not.
- 41:56And he was like, I'm, he's like, I, I'm not going to disagree
- 41:58with you. That's because, you know, he got
- 42:00screwed out of his nominee nomination.
- 42:03Technically you could say twice. Then put in Kamala, who's not
- 42:06that popular of a politician in general, up for the presidential
- 42:10seat after they tried to shuffle Joe Biden out there.
- 42:14Now it comes out that Joe Biden's got stage 4 cancer.
- 42:17I mean, there was a couple. How do you get this Stage 4 when
- 42:20you're the president? Is he not getting scans all the
- 42:23time? That's what they, and that's the
- 42:24big thing on the right right now is like they knew that he had
- 42:28cancer. They just weren't telling
- 42:29anybody. They were lying about it.
- 42:31There was a press conference Biden gave maybe like 3 years
- 42:35ago or something where he said like, I have cancer.
- 42:38And then was like up and then everyone was like, oh, you just
- 42:40misspoke. And now it's like he's got
- 42:42cancer. So I mean.
- 42:44Three years ago. Something like that.
- 42:47So that's where it's, it's the whole thing.
- 42:51I'm not, I'm not. I mean, that's like a, it's a
- 42:53whole fucking thing. But I would say yes.
- 42:56So they have become inhumane because there are people who are
- 42:59just applauding and cheering and are happy that this 80 year old
- 43:02man, 80 something year old man's got cancer, like metastasized to
- 43:06the bone cancer. That's fucked up.
- 43:09And then just like it would be fucked up if something did
- 43:12happen to our current president and everybody was cheering in
- 43:15the streets, that would be fucked up.
- 43:17Like there's like a desensitization.
- 43:20To I think it'd be fucked up that we got to that point, but I
- 43:23mean I but it'd be understandable.
- 43:26But I mean, but what I'm saying is as human beings, that would
- 43:30be we are so desensitized to that, then I think that that's a
- 43:34problem just in general, doesn't matter who it is.
- 43:36The fact that we would applaud if somebody, if something,
- 43:40didn't. Happen to anything No, that's
- 43:41not true No, that's not that's because of the empathy of
- 43:44humans. It's because Donald Trump is
- 43:47more of a problem alive. That's why you'd be celebrating.
- 43:54OK? I'm just saying like that's why
- 43:56people would be celebrating is because it's like the fucking
- 44:02evilness has stopped, OK? Like the are humans are humans
- 44:07desensitized and inhumane for celebrating like when Hitler
- 44:10killed himself. No, that's people celebrated
- 44:14because they love humans and this dude's killing humans.
- 44:20Trump's shipping people off to South Sudan, where there's a
- 44:23fucking famine in a civil war. I'm not disagreeing with that.
- 44:32Those are terrible things. I'm not.
- 44:33I'm just speaking in generalities in the sense that I
- 44:36do think that as a culture, especially in the political
- 44:40sphere, the division has gotten worse and worse, and obviously
- 44:45him being in office has made it worse than making it better.
- 44:48Wouldn't disagree with that at all.
- 44:49I think that's half of his ploy is to make it as divided as
- 44:53possible. It's easier.
- 44:54That's the whole Republican Party ploy is to make is to
- 44:56divide you on, on race, on religion, on on class.
- 45:01Like it's like that's your boy Bernie talked about it.
- 45:04He's like, they can't win on their fucking like, you know,
- 45:07cut taxes for billionaires. So they're going to like, push,
- 45:11you know, like the transgender shit.
- 45:13Divide, divide. I divide and conquer because
- 45:15they don't have good ideas. Fair.
- 45:25Excuse me, but I would say that, yeah, I think I just, I think in
- 45:29general it has become too tribal and too inhumane, pointing both
- 45:32sides, because if something happened to Marjorie Taylor
- 45:36Green, everybody would be like good, blah, blah.
- 45:40They would be stoked and that in that, in this.
- 45:43Name. Name like a normal person on the
- 45:46right that that that would happen.
- 45:47There are people that are happy that George Santos is going to
- 45:50for federal prison. Name a normal person.
- 45:53That is a problem. It doesn't get more normal than
- 45:56George Boy. George.
- 45:57You're, you're picking Georgie boy.
- 45:59Dude, how dare you picking Marjorie.
- 46:01Marjorie Tate, friend of the pod.
- 46:03Come on. It's gotten so bad that someone
- 46:11from the right can't disagree with the right without being
- 46:14expelled. And it's their fault.
- 46:17And it's the same on the left. You can't disagree with the
- 46:21majority of the left and still be considered on the left.
- 46:25Well, I do it all the time. That is pretty fucked up that
- 46:32he's got cancer though. And yeah, I mean, I feel like
- 46:35they knew way ahead of time. I think they probably found out
- 46:40and we're like, hey, this motherfucker's got cancer.
- 46:43And that's really when they were like, dude, you got to get the
- 46:47fuck out of the race. I could see that being one.
- 46:50Besides his mental decline, yes, absolutely.
- 46:55No, because like he was obviously like not all there.
- 46:58So that would have been a reason to get out and not like, oh,
- 47:00they might find out you have cancer.
- 47:04Well, no, they. Just thought he was going.
- 47:05To lose, hey, you got, you know, because if you put Joe Biden in
- 47:08there with Kamala Harris as AVP, then he gets cancer, he dies of
- 47:13cancer and she becomes president.
- 47:14Every right wing conspiracy theorist who's like, they're
- 47:17just propping them up there to get her in.
- 47:19And this is their whole agenda. The Democrats are just trying to
- 47:22weasel her in there. They would that would be they
- 47:26would have a field day with it. Well, you're saying that that
- 47:29would have been the case because they knew he had cancer?
- 47:31Yeah, that's what I mean. That's what it seems.
- 47:34Like so they would have been right.
- 47:36The last thing we want is these crazy motherfuckers.
- 47:39No I would. That's fine.
- 47:40I'll take that over Trump getting re elected.
- 47:43Well then he just would have gotten re elected later and
- 47:45we've been like see I told you guys I didn't.
- 47:48Have much time bro, he's like 80.
- 47:50I told everybody this is going to happen, Sleepy Joe.
- 47:55But I mean, the whole situation is sad.
- 47:57That sucks. I mean, he's been in public
- 47:59service for over 50 years. To have that and then to get the
- 48:03hate and the vitriol that he's been receiving from people in
- 48:06like the news, the journalism and political sphere is pretty
- 48:09fucked up. Yeah, I haven't really been
- 48:14watching the news. Because if that happened to
- 48:17somebody on the right, we would be, we would be so jeering and
- 48:22saying the same goofy shit. So it doesn't like.
- 48:25No we wouldn't. I just disagree with you like
- 48:27it's just not true. You don't think so?
- 48:30No, like I feel like people were like felt bad for Trump and he
- 48:33got shot on the left like and they didn't like it.
- 48:36They didn't like that they felt bad.
- 48:37Like, no, when an 80, a four year old man gets prostate
- 48:42cancer, Like I don't know what's a surprise to anybody other than
- 48:45the fact that it's stage 4 when they found out.
- 48:47Like that's the surprising part. I don't know, I, I guess maybe I
- 48:56have an aversion to the tribalness nowadays.
- 48:59And so that's why I'm trying to I'm just trying to like, will it
- 49:02that it's not too bad. But you're probably right.
- 49:06I think it is. It totally is sort of people.
- 49:09There's be people on the left who were like AO CS crazy.
- 49:13People were saying that she's just like, I just have new ideas
- 49:16and I think y'all are all a bunch of schmucks.
- 49:18Like there's corruption. I like to, I mean, I I'd say
- 49:20that she's so up that she needs an Ambien.
- 49:23There's, there's corrupt like Bernie Sanders said, the other
- 49:27there's corruption on both sides of the aisle, There's
- 49:30billionaires on both sides of the aisle that do goofy shit.
- 49:33And that's that are pushing their own agenda, which it is
- 49:37what it is. You can agree with one more than
- 49:39the other, but at the end of the day, that's that's what they're
- 49:42doing. That's what's happening the.
- 49:43Trump, the Trump family has increased their wealth since
- 49:46January by $3 billion. That's $1 billion a month that
- 49:51the Trump's have made since he's been back in office.
- 49:54Don't tell me there's corruption on both sides.
- 49:55There's corruption on one side. Nancy Pelosi, she just let her
- 50:02little stock picking Trump. Well, they all do their little
- 50:06stock picking. Yeah, exactly.
- 50:09They all if it's if it's illegal, I don't know why
- 50:11anybody's like complaining about it.
- 50:12It's like either make it illegal or shut up.
- 50:16Yeah, true therapy question #4 cats or dogs?
- 50:22Dogs, dude, what are we talking about?
- 50:25Like I mean like, I don't feel like you have to choose though.
- 50:27Like like Shorty had two cats in their chow and more fun with it.
- 50:36I think they're both, I'd say equal, but a cool a really
- 50:42fucking cool cat is cooler than a cool dog.
- 50:45No. Yes, absolutely.
- 50:48Cats. Cats are like the ultimate
- 50:50hunting machine. They're a murder machine.
- 50:53Why do I need a murder machine in?
- 50:55My house domesticated and now they're just like vibe with us.
- 50:59But a really cool like indoor outdoor cat, a really cool just
- 51:03neighborhood cat that lives outside all the time that is
- 51:06cool as fuck. The cool cat beats a cool dog
- 51:10any day of the week. His dogs are great, but dogs
- 51:13there's this unconditional love where they'll love you no matter
- 51:16what you do. Or cats are like fucking people.
- 51:19So you can meet a lot of assholes.
- 51:21When you meet a cool fucking person, you're like hell yeah
- 51:23bro. And that's what cats are.
- 51:25Cats are cool as shit. Cats will bring you gifts.
- 51:29Now sometimes they're like dead birds.
- 51:31Shit, they kill, it'll bring you like, oh, I brought you this
- 51:34bird that I murdered to let you know the like, we're homies and
- 51:37like dogs don't do that unless you train them to do that.
- 51:40But a cat or just a stray cat could be like, hey, this guy's
- 51:43my friend. I'm going to bring you a a dead
- 51:45baby bird I snatched out of a tree 45 feet up in the air.
- 51:49That's badass. That's cool shit.
- 51:52I mean there is the term cool cool cat so it's hard to argue
- 51:57with. And cats can be in theory,
- 52:02tougher. Cats are definitely tougher.
- 52:04You don't want, I mean, obviously you don't want a pack
- 52:06of wild dogs running around in your neighborhood because who
- 52:09knows what the fuck they'll do. They're very erratic and crazy.
- 52:12But pack of Wildcats, I mean you just leave them alone.
- 52:16They won't fuck with you. They want nothing to do with
- 52:17you. There's like cats have 0
- 52:20interest in you or they're all about you.
- 52:23That's where I'm like their particular as their dogs are
- 52:25just like you're a person, love you or they're like not not
- 52:30treated well because I think all dogs are inherently sweet.
- 52:32So or you don't treat it well and then it becomes just like a
- 52:36crazy ass fucking dog. But I mean that's way more of a
- 52:38reflection of its owner than it is like of the dog itself.
- 52:42You know how it was treated, raised, whatever.
- 52:46But a cat you can get a cat and cats have like their own
- 52:49personality and they're pretty fucking intense, man.
- 52:51I've I've always been pro both, but I mean, I always like I
- 52:58really want a cool cat that's like that lives inside and
- 53:01outside and comes and goes as it pleases, does whatever the fuck
- 53:05it wants because it's going to take care of itself.
- 53:07That's cool as shit. I always thought that was cool.
- 53:09Like a barn cat. Those are fucking bad ass dude.
- 53:13No way. Quick try, I had one caddy it
- 53:16lived outside but it was a street cat.
- 53:18But then it would just it lived in their garage, I guess.
- 53:21And he just like, come back with like, gashes, like on his head,
- 53:24like just we'd be in a street fight like every now and then.
- 53:27Yeah, they have territory. They're like, they're fucking
- 53:32gangsters dude, And there's a good meme going around but it's
- 53:34like cats also don't work for the cops so.
- 53:37Yeah, I know. That's all that.
- 53:39They get, they get props for that.
- 53:40That that that cut me deep. Cats are fucking bad ass.
- 53:45They have their own universe. Like for dogs, it's like take
- 53:50them to the dog park. That's like I said, it's always
- 53:52a wild card because not everybody raises their dog
- 53:55correctly or even my biggest pet peeve at the dog park is you
- 53:59bring their dog there, you let it off a leash and you just
- 54:01don't pay attention to it. I'm like, who's fucking crazy
- 54:04ass fucking dog is this? They're like, oh, sorry, that's
- 54:07mine. I'm like come get your shit
- 54:08dude. But a cat, like, if there was a
- 54:11cat park, that'd be crazy. There'd be street fights, it'd
- 54:15be wild. They'd be teaming up.
- 54:17Or they'd like, yeah, cats don't need humans for entertainment.
- 54:24Dogs need a human for that interaction of entertainment.
- 54:28Cats are like, whatever, I'm running away.
- 54:30I'm never going back. I'll see you in a week.
- 54:33And then they come back all fucked up like, oh man, go out
- 54:35in this fight and you're like, oh damn, they're like, all
- 54:37right, I'm healed up, peace out. And then it's like leave.
- 54:39They're like, I don't know, like a cool uncle you see every
- 54:42couple months like the cool indoor outdoor cats.
- 54:45Now there are you can also have too many cats.
- 54:49I mean, how many cats is too many?
- 54:52Just like how many dogs? Well.
- 54:53You know what I have to say though, I think if it was the
- 54:57other way around, I don't think a cat would like would let in 24
- 55:01old ladies. No, he'd be like, Nah bro, like
- 55:06I got room for one one of you. You don't even you don't even
- 55:10pay rent. I I think, I think more than two
- 55:12cats is too many. More than two.
- 55:15Yeah, that's fair, because cats are messy as shit.
- 55:17That's also why I've always been pro inside outside cat.
- 55:20Like if you had a doggy door that it could go out of, that'd
- 55:23be tight. Because they're messy as shit.
- 55:26Their pee is like the most lethal shit in the world, but I
- 55:30mean, they get high on catnip. That's cool as fuck.
- 55:32Like there's, you know, I don't know, man, they're.
- 55:34Like, you know what they is the shortest cats.
- 55:37They look exactly the same. And so I knew that she had two
- 55:41cats, but I just always thought I'd never seen the other cat.
- 55:45But I'd seen them both. I'd seen them both.
- 55:47I just never saw them like at the same time, you know, So I
- 55:51didn't realize that I'd seen both.
- 55:53Like if somebody could have a cat and it not like people, and
- 55:56you never know, they could be at their house for a year and never
- 55:59see their cat. But if someone has a dog, think
- 56:02about it though, it's true. But if someone has a dog and it
- 56:05doesn't like people, yeah, lock it up.
- 56:07You got to put it outside. The cat's just like, I don't
- 56:09fuck with these people. I'm out.
- 56:11I'm going to go sleep under the bed for 12 hours, come back and
- 56:15eat some food. I might fuck with you and be
- 56:18like mayor, like you're like, oh, are we going to be friends
- 56:20now? And it's like, Nah, fuck you.
- 56:21And it hisses at you and dips. You're like that, that there's
- 56:24something cool. There's something human about a
- 56:28cat that dogs don't really have. OK.
- 56:34Does that make sense? Yeah.
- 56:36I mean I know you're you're pro more dog than cat but hopefully
- 56:41I made a good a good case 'cause I want a cat bro I want a cat so
- 56:45bad. But oh I know but Topanga would
- 56:48probably eat eat the cat fucking alive.
- 56:51Like Topanga is probably the most.
- 56:53Topanga was a woman that I knew in my life.
- 56:56She'd be the most toxic woman I've ever met in my entire life.
- 57:00I would not fuck with her. But she's my sweetie and I love
- 57:03her, but she is so Moody that if I got a cat, she'd try to eat
- 57:07that shit in a second for sure. And she would seen her kill a
- 57:12skunk. Avoid the spray.
- 57:15She'll sidestep crazy Topanga is afraid of the bath.
- 57:20She's afraid of rain. So sensitive that if she like
- 57:27screws something up and she sees it, you find it.
- 57:30She's like in the corner, like, Oh my God, like having a panic
- 57:34attack, like I need to put this dog on like some Zoloft or some
- 57:37shit. But when you get her outside on
- 57:40that leash, if she sees something that's not a dog that
- 57:43she knows or just not a dog, I mean, it's instant.
- 57:47So one morning she was freaking out by the back door and I was
- 57:51like, all right, like I got up early, was going to take her out
- 57:54to go pee, open up the door. She beelines it for the back
- 57:57corner of the backyard in the house I was living in at the
- 58:00time. She takes off for the back
- 58:02corner and there's a light so I can see there's a fucking skunk
- 58:07back there pretty big too. And I'm like no no, no, no, no,
- 58:12like no, like Topanga, fuck off. And she gets this like tunnel
- 58:15vision where she just goes like full wolf mode.
- 58:19So she is sprinting as fast as she can to the corner.
- 58:22I see the skunk squat, turn around to spray her and right
- 58:27when it does, she does this like jump sidestep move so it's
- 58:31sprays and she's like turn around and just chomp its head
- 58:37whop in one foul, just chump and it just goes limp.
- 58:40She shakes it a bunch, throws it against the fence and then just
- 58:44comes back and it's like hey, I was like Oh my fucking God.
- 58:49Luckily she was fine. She had all of her shots.
- 58:52But one of the craziest things I've ever seen is she's
- 58:55literally like matrix the skunks brand.
- 58:58I watched it in full time. I've seen her dig holes in the
- 59:01ground. I mean she better not fucking do
- 59:03this here, but dig holes deep in the ground and pull moles out.
- 59:08She can hear them under the ground and she will dig down
- 59:11like bro like 3 1/2 feet and pull out live moles.
- 59:15So what the one she's like I said, she's kind of a pussy.
- 59:18So the first time she I got her not being a pussy, I was like,
- 59:23what is she doing in the corner of the yard?
- 59:25I go out there and I hear this like and she's just sitting
- 59:28there. She's got a mole that she's
- 59:30pulled up out of the ground. It's laying on its back and
- 59:33she's just smacking the shit out of it, just slapping it with her
- 59:36paws because she's like part boxer and just like toying with
- 59:39this thing. I was like, what are you doing?
- 59:42And she's happy. She's just like, got a big smile
- 59:46tail wagon. And I was like, all right, you
- 59:48do you. And I just walked away.
- 59:49I just left it because she was being tough.
- 59:52I was like about time. Like, that's right.
- 59:54My baby girl's a killer. I didn't know what to do.
- 59:57I wasn't going to save this mold that was tearing up the yard.
- 1:00:00But. Because I was always like why is
- 1:00:02she digging these huge fucking holes?
- 1:00:04He's like deep tunnels. Like are we?
- 1:00:07Am I that terrible? Nah bro.
- 1:00:09She was catching moles so she could like play with them and
- 1:00:13torture them to death. It was the weirdest shit I've
- 1:00:15ever seen. And that was pre skunk.
- 1:00:17And I saw her kill a skunk, seen her catch a squirrel, like catch
- 1:00:21a squirrel in a dead Sprint. She's that fast.
- 1:00:23It's pretty impressive. But run the bathtub dude, we're
- 1:00:27hiding. I'm hiding.
- 1:00:28Run that bathtub. I'm out bro, I can't no break
- 1:00:39because we only have two articles.
- 1:00:41Oh. My God, but that's you, dude.
- 1:00:44Do you need me to do we need to swap?
- 1:00:46I think we do need to swap and let me do articles.
- 1:00:48You do therapy questions because we swapped this a while ago.
- 1:00:53I think we need to flip flop it back.
- 1:00:55That's fine. OK, first of two articles from
- 1:01:03The Atlantic by Ally Breeland and Matteo Wong.
- 1:01:08The day Grok told everyone about white genocide.
- 1:01:12What in the world just happened with Elon Musk's chatbot?
- 1:01:17Yesterday, a user on X saw a viral post of Timothy Chalamet
- 1:01:21celebrating courtside at the Knicks game and had a simple
- 1:01:24question. Who was sitting next to him?
- 1:01:27The user tapped in Grok X is proprietary chat bot, as people
- 1:01:31often do when they want to help answering questions on the
- 1:01:33platform. The software functions like
- 1:01:36ChatGPT GPT, except they can be summoned via reply to a post,
- 1:01:41and for the most part, Rock has performed reasonably well at
- 1:01:44providing responses. But not yesterday.
- 1:01:47Chalamet was sitting with Kylie and Kendall Jenner, but here's
- 1:01:49how the chatbot replied. I believe you're referring to a
- 1:01:52photo with Timothy Chalamet, but the context you mentioned
- 1:01:55doesn't seem to align with this image.
- 1:01:57The post discusses South African politics, which doesn't relate
- 1:02:01to Timothy or the people around him.
- 1:02:04Nothing in the photo or post reference South Africa or
- 1:02:07politics. Rock spit out similar answers to
- 1:02:09many queries for a large chunk of time yesterday, randomly
- 1:02:12contorting its responses to mention white genocide in South
- 1:02:16Africa, apparently in reference to controversial claims about
- 1:02:19incidences of violence against some of the country's white
- 1:02:22farmers. When 1 user asked Rock for
- 1:02:24analysis on a video of a small cute pig, the chatbot offered
- 1:02:27this explanation. The topic of white genocide in
- 1:02:30South Africa is highly contentious.
- 1:02:32Claims of systematic targeting of white farmers exist, with
- 1:02:35farm attacks averaging 50 murders yearly, often cited as
- 1:02:39evidence. Some argue these are racially
- 1:02:41driven, pointing to rhetoric like kill the boar.
- 1:02:44Boar is the term used to refer to Afrikaners, dissidents of
- 1:02:48Dutch, German or French settlers in the country.
- 1:02:51Nothing in the video or the accompanying text mentioned
- 1:02:54South Africa white genocide or kill the boar.
- 1:02:57Ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter and renamed it X, the
- 1:02:59platform was crept further into the bottom of outlandish and
- 1:03:02unsettling porn. Spam bots are rampant, and Nazi
- 1:03:05apologia, which used to be extremely hard to find,
- 1:03:08frequently goes viral. But yesterday, X managed to get
- 1:03:12considerably weirder for hours, regardless of what users asked
- 1:03:15to chat. Bot about memes.
- 1:03:17Ironic jokes Linux software Many queries to Grok were met with a
- 1:03:22small meditation on South Africa in white genocide.
- 1:03:26By yesterday afternoon, Grok had stopped talking about white
- 1:03:28genocide in most of the posts that included the tangent had
- 1:03:32been deleted. Why was Grok doing this?
- 1:03:34We don't know for sure, but Musk and Ex's parent company XAI did
- 1:03:38not respond request request for comment.
- 1:03:40Several hours after publication, XAI posted on X explaining that
- 1:03:43an unauthorized modification have been made to the system
- 1:03:46prompt for the Grokbot on the platform without supposed to
- 1:03:49provide who made the change, X AI is now publicly sharing its
- 1:03:53system prompts on GitHub and says it will adopt additional
- 1:03:56measures to ensure similar unauthorized change does not
- 1:03:59happen in the future. The glitch The glitch is all the
- 1:04:01more curious considering the white genocide in South Africa
- 1:04:04is a hobby horse for Musk, who is himself is from South Africa.
- 1:04:09At various points over the past couple of years, Musk has posted
- 1:04:12about the belief in the existence of a plot to kill
- 1:04:14white S Africans. What do you think?
- 1:04:18Obviously it was him injecting that shit into it.
- 1:04:21That's so weird. No, not weird.
- 1:04:25It's like so oh, it's just weird that like they did it so poorly
- 1:04:29that like it was just like anything.
- 1:04:31You ask Rocket. We're talking about white
- 1:04:33genocide. Did you know the white people
- 1:04:35are dying in South Africa? Because I mean, and we just.
- 1:04:37We're like Trump. Yeah, We just brought in
- 1:04:39refugees, alleged refugees. I, I watched this one guy who
- 1:04:45was like sponsored a South African family.
- 1:04:49It was over there. Then they came to America.
- 1:04:52They lived in his house and he was like, all they've been doing
- 1:04:55is like mooching off of me. Like they're not doing shit.
- 1:04:58They don't want to get jobs. The room is paying for all their
- 1:05:00stuff. They're just watching movies all
- 1:05:02day. So it might be an isolated case,
- 1:05:04but I mean, I don't know what South Africa has a history, you
- 1:05:09know, an apartheid state, the most disadvantaged people in
- 1:05:13that country or black people. So it's interesting that.
- 1:05:19I think it's like, I think it's like 7% of the population is
- 1:05:25white and they own 2/3 of all the property in South Africa.
- 1:05:32I mean, you can always ask Sticky.
- 1:05:34He lived. He lived there for a while.
- 1:05:36Find a gated community with a guard with a gun.
- 1:05:39I mean, it's one of the most crime.
- 1:05:42I mean, what? Johannesburg.
- 1:05:43Yeah, it's it's. Dangerous cities.
- 1:05:45Yeah, it's fine. But like, that's not, that's not
- 1:05:47genocide. No, no, no, I know.
- 1:05:50But what I'm just saying is that there's been, it's been
- 1:05:53disproportionately been like financially beneficial for the
- 1:06:01white people that live in South Africa.
- 1:06:03Like that's just that. That's just the way it is.
- 1:06:05It was structured that way a long time ago.
- 1:06:07So even when they got got rid over, they were done with the
- 1:06:11apartheid state. There's still things that carry
- 1:06:13the fuck over. It's like living in the Jim Crow
- 1:06:15South of us. So there's people who don't like
- 1:06:18the property that was illegally gotten was is being taken away.
- 1:06:21They don't like that there is stuff being set out and laid out
- 1:06:25for Africans, like black S Africans that live there and
- 1:06:29they're just claiming genocide. They're just like crying wolf.
- 1:06:33It's fucking annoying. So we brought a bunch of these
- 1:06:35people over here and it doesn't sound, I feel like Musk has got
- 1:06:39to help push that narrative because we're bringing in
- 1:06:43refugees from other cities, from another country.
- 1:06:47We're bringing in refugees from Africa, but they're the, but
- 1:06:51they're white and we're and we're and we're and we're anti
- 1:06:54refugee right now unless you're white and you're from South
- 1:06:58Africa. Like it's just weird.
- 1:07:00It's just weird as shit. It's just so hypocritical.
- 1:07:04It's not even funny. I don't mean Stephen Miller's
- 1:07:06doing his best to try to spin this shit.
- 1:07:08And obviously Elon Musk is pro South African white people
- 1:07:12because, I mean, you know, him and his family exploited black
- 1:07:15labor of children to dig out Emerald's out of mines.
- 1:07:18And that's how he made his money.
- 1:07:20I'll bring that up for forever because it's true.
- 1:07:27And his dad, his dad married his step sister, you know, whatever.
- 1:07:31But that's, yeah, poorly executed.
- 1:07:34That's like, so bad. It's like asking Grok a question
- 1:07:39about how to make a good apple pie and it's telling you about
- 1:07:42white genocide in South Africa. It's like way off topic.
- 1:07:50I said we skipped this last article.
- 1:07:52Why do you say that? My back hurts.
- 1:07:57Oh. I've like worked really hard the
- 1:07:59last two days. I didn't get home till 9 O clock
- 1:08:02last night. I'm a Pullman.
- 1:08:06Well the last article was about the take the Take it Down act
- 1:08:09that was signed. That was Trump signs.
- 1:08:11Take it down, act into law getting rid of AI, deep fakes
- 1:08:17and like revenge porn. I'm pro that.
- 1:08:20Yeah, like sailed through Congress bipartisan.
- 1:08:23Yeah. And then they just said the no
- 1:08:25tax on tips, which I don't think really helps at all.
- 1:08:29You're just going to owe that money later.
- 1:08:32I mean, it'll be it'll help somebody, but it's it's just
- 1:08:36fucked up. It's like, what about the
- 1:08:37dishwasher, dude? He doesn't make tips, so he has
- 1:08:39to you're going to tax the dishwasher.
- 1:08:41You're not taxing the servers. You know, it's like, that's kind
- 1:08:43of like where you can make the argument.
- 1:08:45But I mean as a server I take it I?
- 1:08:47Mean. Oh well, yeah.
- 1:08:48Server now, but I mean I was for a long time.
- 1:08:51Yeah, I know. I mean, it makes sense.
- 1:08:53But yeah, I mean, we don't have to delve into it since you're an
- 1:08:56old man and your back hurts. I'm sorry, Sorry.
- 1:09:00Sorry. You know, you're fine.
- 1:09:02I'm sorry to hear that you're. It's just right now, it's just.
- 1:09:05Like a hard old man you're falling apart, old man I.
- 1:09:08Just need to drink some water I think.
- 1:09:10Just get a fucking chair that's closer to the Wi-Fi.
- 1:09:15Hey, mad to say bitches, maybe I'll start doing it from the
- 1:09:18garage. That'd be tight, dude.
- 1:09:20Garage scene. I do have a couch in there.
- 1:09:22Well, I'm about to move this behemoth.
- 1:09:24Underneath I need a couch but. I got to reconfigure everything,
- 1:09:28so I'm about to move this big fuck off machine underneath my
- 1:09:31desk so I can rearrange some shit 'cause I'm trying to get it
- 1:09:34to where I have my BIG4K camera set up and I can sit in this
- 1:09:39like chase lounge love seat thing that I can do it and then
- 1:09:42do it all remote remotely. And then I'm going to put you on
- 1:09:46that 52 inch HDTV behind me. So whenever I talk to it, the
- 1:09:50camera will be there and you'll be on a bigger screen and I can
- 1:09:53run everything wirelessly. I think I got it set up, but I
- 1:09:56got to move this big fuck off 80 LB chunk of computer that's
- 1:10:00driving me nuts. I'm going to do it tomorrow.
- 1:10:05I didn't want to do it today because we had the fun.
- 1:10:07No, I'm serious. I was like, I'll do it at some
- 1:10:09point. I'm not doing it right now.
- 1:10:10It's going to take forever. Better say bitches.
- 1:10:17Make sure you all like, follow, subscribe, leave a comment,
- 1:10:21whatever. If you want to donate some money
- 1:10:23to help Andy with his upcoming back surgery, that'd be awesome
- 1:10:27because this old man's falling the fuck apart.
- 1:10:29But as always, we appreciate you guys checking us out.
- 1:10:32I mean, this has been fun. We're at 180.
- 1:10:34We're creeping close to 200. What?
- 1:10:37That's crazy. But it's so many episodes.
- 1:10:41So, you know, just keep following along, you guys.
- 1:10:44We appreciate you and shout out Chad.
- 1:10:46Still, I'm stoked that Chad listens to the pod.
- 1:10:49Yeah, shout out. Chad yeah.
- 1:10:51I'm, I want to pick up a country that like, doesn't.
- 1:10:54So I don't know. Does Belarus listen?
- 1:10:58They're like, no, like they do. They're high up on the rankings.
- 1:11:01It's weird all. Right, shout out Belarus, then
- 1:11:04let's go. I don't know someone who doesn't
- 1:11:07listen. Greenland start listening or
- 1:11:10will invade you. Motherfucks.
- 1:11:13Y'all be good, stay safe and as always, go fuck yourselves.
- 1:11:19Shout out.
