  Unshaken in the storm. Have you ever looked around and
• 0:14
  felt like everything is shaking at once?
• 0:17
  Headlines feel heavier, conversations feel louder,
• 0:20
  opinions feel sharper, and it seems like truth is harder to
• 0:23
  find. One minute you're scrolling and
• 0:25
  laughing, the next you're anxious, confused, or
• 0:28
  overwhelmed. It can feel like the ground
• 0:31
  beneath your feet isn't as steady as it used to be.
• 0:34
  Psalm 11 captures that same tension.
• 0:37
  David was surrounded by injustice and violence, yet he
• 0:40
  refused to panic. He says that the Lord tests the
• 0:43
  righteous, but he hates wickedness and violence.
• 0:46
  In other words, God sees everything.
• 0:49
  He's not distant or distracted. Even when evil seems loud and
• 0:52
  unchecked, God remains just, watchful and fully aware.
• 0:56
  The testing isn't meant to destroy faith.
• 0:59
  It's meant to reveal and strengthen it.
• 1:01
  Jesus echoes that reality in Matthew chapter 24.
• 1:05
  He doesn't pretend the future will be easy.
• 1:07
  He warns his followers that deception will increase, that
• 1:10
  people will claim authority they don't have, and that many will
• 1:14
  be LED astray. But the very first thing he says
• 1:16
  is this. See that no one leads you
• 1:18
  astray. That's not fear based.
• 1:20
  That's preparation. Jesus is telling us to stay
• 1:24
  awake, stay grounded, and stay anchored in truth.
• 1:27
  Storms don't shake you because they exist.
• 1:29
  They shake you when your foundation isn't secure.
• 1:32
  When opinions become your anchor, you'll feel pulled in
• 1:35
  every direction. When trends define your beliefs,
• 1:38
  your faith will constantly shift.
• 1:40
  But when God's Word shapes your thinking, you can stand firm
• 1:43
  even when the world feels unstable.
• 1:46
  Being unshaken doesn't mean you won't feel pressure.
• 1:49
  It means pressure won't control you.
• 1:51
  It means when lies spread, you check them against truth.
• 1:54
  When fear rises, you return to God.
• 1:56
  When confusion grows, you cling tighter to what you know is
• 1:59
  real. God doesn't promise the absence
• 2:01
  of storms, He promises his presence in them.
• 2:04
  The testing of faith isn't punishment, it's refinement.
• 2:08
  Just like strong trees grow deeper roots in strong winds,
• 2:11
  your faith grows deeper when it's tested, and those deeper
• 2:15
  roots keep you standing when others fall away.

  You don't have to have all the answers, you just need to know
• 2:20
  where to stand. God is steady.
• 2:22
  His truth doesn't change, and when your life is rooted in Him,
• 2:25
  you can remain unshaken even in the storm.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, when everything
• 2:31
  around me feels uncertain and unstable, help me remember that
• 2:34
  You are steady and faithful. Guard my heart from deception
• 2:38
  and anchor my mind and Your truth.
• 2:40
  When my faith is tested, strengthen me instead of letting
• 2:43
  fear take over. Teach me to stand firm, trust
• 2:46
  You fully, and remain unshaken no matter what storms come my
• 2:49
  way in Jesus name, Amen. What if the ache you feel for

  more is actually God calling you deeper?

  But the end is not yet, for nation will rise against nation,

  But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

  Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you.

  but he who endures to the end will be saved.

  This good news of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole

  world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will

  come. When, therefore, you see the

  abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the

  prophet standing in the holy place, let the reader

  understand. Then let those who are in Judea

  flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop

  not go down to take out the things that are in his house.

  Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.

  But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in

  those days. Pray that your flight will not

  be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath, for then there will be

  great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the

  Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have

  will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the

  clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

  He will send out His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and

  they will gather together, His chosen ones from the four winds,

  from one end of the sky to the other.

  Now from the fig tree learn this parable.

  When its branch has now become tender and produces its leaves,

  you know that the summer is near.

  Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that He

  is near even at the doors. Most certainly, I tell you, this

  generation will not pass away until all these things are

  accomplished. Heaven and earth will pass away,

  but My words will not pass away. But no one knows of that day and
• 8:34
  hour, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father.

  Only as the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of
• 8:40
  Man be. For as in those days which were
• 8:43
  before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying
• 8:45
  and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into
• 8:49
  the ship, and they didn't know until the flood came and took
• 8:52
  them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

  Then two men will be in the field, one will be taken, and

  1:00 will be left. Two women will be grinding at

  the mill, one will be taken, and 1:00 will be left.

  Watch therefore, for you don't know in what hour your Lord
• 9:07
  comes. But know this, that if the
• 9:09
  master of the house had known in what watch of the night the
• 9:11
  thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have
• 9:14
  allowed his house to be broken into.

  Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect,
• 9:20
  the Son of Man will come. Who then is the faithful and
• 9:23
  wise servant whom his Lord has set over his household to give
• 9:27
  them their food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his
• 9:31
  Lord finds doing so when he comes.
• 9:33
  Most certainly I tell you that he will set him over all that he
• 9:36
  has. But if that evil servant should
• 9:39
  say in his heart, my Lord is delaying his coming, and begins
• 9:43
  to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the
• 9:45
  drunkards, the Lord of that servant will come in a day when
• 9:49
  he doesn't expect it, and in an hour when he doesn't know it,
• 9:52
  and we'll cut him in pieces and appoint his portion with the
• 9:55
  hypocrites. That is where the weeping and
• 9:57
