- 0:04Hello and welcome back to an episode of Bantu Lorencia.
- 0:06How are you all doing? If you're doing great for
- 0:08today's episode, don't to talk about VDM and Be Load.
- 0:12They are fighting guys. They are fighting again.
- 0:15Now Be Load and VDM, they go way back.
- 0:19VDM dragged B load, B load dragged VDM.
- 0:23That was last year. And then over customer service,
- 0:27I think VDM, somebody complained to VDM that they kind of sent
- 0:32money because B load, he has so many businesses, crypto being
- 0:36one of them. And I think people paid money to
- 0:39his platform and they were supposed to like get double the
- 0:43money, you know, this crypto scam, allegedly.
- 0:48So some people paid him money and they were expecting to get
- 0:51maybe double the amount of money.
- 0:53But after paying the money into the accounts, they said they
- 0:56they got locked out of the account.
- 0:58So when they reached out to B Lord, B Lord denied that that
- 1:02was not his platform. He said that some people were
- 1:04scamming him using other platforms and people were paying
- 1:08into those accounts and not his account.
- 1:12So several people reported to VDMVDM came out, called out B
- 1:15Lord. That was the genesis of that
- 1:18problem. Anyway.
- 1:19We remember last year when VDM said that money was stolen from
- 1:24his account. B Lord came out and called him a
- 1:26thief, saying that he learned from his mother because his
- 1:29mother had an issue with a bank. I think it was Access Bank or GT
- 1:36Bank. I don't even know which of the
- 1:37banks. So she said that somebody took
- 1:39loan in her name and they've been garnishing her wages.
- 1:43So Vidian went to the bank. That was when he was picked up
- 1:46by the EFCC. Listen, VDM has so many cases
- 1:48going on. But during that period was when
- 1:52B Lord came out and accused VDM of being the thief that he
- 1:56learned from his mother. Everybody expected VDM to blow
- 2:00up as usual. But he just, you know, 'cause at
- 2:03that point he has so many cases to be honest.
- 2:05So he everything went. Now we're just sitting out
- 2:08minding our business. B Lord decided to sell phones.
- 2:13B Lord is into so many businesses, real estate, cars, I
- 2:17mean everything, name it anything that could his unable
- 2:20voice, anything that will give you money and profits.
- 2:22B Lord is down South. B Lord made a video talks about
- 2:26when iPhone 17 came out. He said that he has new phones
- 2:31because Nigerians are going crazy.
- 2:33Everybody wanted iPhone 17, but iPhone 17 in Nigeria depending
- 2:38on the the gig you're buying is at least maximum of over 4
- 2:42million naira, but minimum you can get it for 2,000,002 point
- 2:45something million. But most people don't have that
- 2:48money sitting down in the accounts that they could just
- 2:51spend on phone. And you know if you're buying in
- 2:53Nigeria, it's not like you're buying contracts that you pay
- 2:56monthly, pay over 36 months or something like that.
- 2:58You have to pay in full. So most people could not afford
- 3:02that. So people they were able to
- 3:04afford it. Hey, mirror selfies, everybody
- 3:08was taking pictures. I remember seeing token machine
- 3:11wire on the red carpet. She just came out of a car and
- 3:14immediately she saw that people were recording.
- 3:17She just put her in her pockets to bring out her own.
- 3:20It was so funny. I, I looked at it like, jeez,
- 3:25people are going crazy. So everybody was trying to get
- 3:28iPhone 17 Pro and you know, it looked beautiful.
- 3:32Orange cover. People were going for the orange
- 3:35cover because it was flashy. So Billot came out and said that
- 3:40instead of paying 4 million for iPhone 17 Pro, you can buy it
- 3:44for 450,000 that he went to China.
- 3:47He just got to, they sent him to within 24 hours.
- 3:50Now he's selling for 450,000 that everybody should come and
- 3:55buy in the next maybe 48 hours or 24 hours.
- 3:58Billot came out with over 200 phones, saying that he has more
- 4:02in stock for people that want to buy.
- 4:04Now before all this drama, Very dark man is in China trying to,
- 4:09you know, do business. I don't even know what he's
- 4:11doing in China because he's not a businessman.
- 4:13But he said he wants to. He opened up an office in
- 4:16Nigeria saying that he wants to be like a consultant for people
- 4:20who want to buy goods in China. Instead of going to China and
- 4:23getting duped or the Chinese people, instead of getting duped
- 4:26by Nigerians, he could act as a middle man, which is a fantastic
- 4:31business model. Like I was like, OK, he's he's
- 4:35getting it. He's getting it.
- 4:37So I was, I was happy for him. He was in videos talking about,
- 4:40you know, so many things and we just woke up and video made a
- 4:44video. He said that below is a thief,
- 4:47below the selling phones, The phone that he's selling for
- 4:51450,000 naira for everything to get that phone to Nigeria is
- 4:55about 280,000. That anybody that wants to buy
- 4:59the phone that he's willing to sell the phone to them.
- 5:03Social media was on fire and usually Very Dark man doesn't
- 5:07leave his comment section open, but he left it open because I
- 5:10think he wanted people to talk. I think he wanted to see
- 5:14people's opinion and get people's, you know, gauge
- 5:18people. He's very people.
- 5:20He calls people manipulative, but very dark man is very, very
- 5:23manipulative. He opened up the comment section
- 5:26and Billot commented. Billot was like, listen, you're
- 5:30just there for a very short period.
- 5:32You're still going to come back to Nigeria.
- 5:34We lost that he has offices in China, that he has about 5
- 5:38different staff in China working for him.
- 5:41So when very dark man is tired and come back to Nigeria, he
- 5:44will continue his business. But that now generated a whole
- 5:47lot of conversation online because people are saying that
- 5:50our people, our businesses actually making 100% profits or
- 5:56even 1000% profit on some of the goods that they buy.
- 5:59Because most times in Nigeria, especially secondhand goods,
- 6:03they will tell you, oh, it's coming from the UKUK refurbished
- 6:07UK used. But most times it is not UK, it
- 6:11is coming from China. So all those phones that they're
- 6:16saying UK used UK, I mean UK, I don't even know how many people
- 6:19are in UK to service Nigeria, which was one of the points that
- 6:23VD embraced. But the conversation now is what
- 6:28VDM did. Was he right?
- 6:32And the reason why I would say it's not right is because when
- 6:36he opened an office in in Nigeria, I was very happy
- 6:40because I was thinking, OK, yes, he is now getting into business.
- 6:44Like not everybody's a businessman.
- 6:46Some people are just good at providing services.
- 6:50Some people are just good at talking speakers, orators, That
- 6:55is what they are good at. Some people are not good at
- 6:57business and I don't think VDM is a businessman because from
- 7:02they dots, everything he has done, if he was business
- 7:06inclined, he would have made a whole lot of money.
- 7:09Even if he's saying that he doesn't want to collect money
- 7:11for advert, he doesn't want to collect money for this, he
- 7:14doesn't want to do this. He is not a capitalist, OK?
- 7:17Let me put it that way. He is not a capitalist and to be
- 7:19a business person you have to be a capitalist, OK, Because you
- 7:23need profit regardless of how you want to look at it.
- 7:27People will say B Lord is greedy because he's collecting over
- 7:30100,000 naira on top of each phone and just imagine maybe he
- 7:35has 500 of those phones that he's going to sell, which some
- 7:39people will think, oh that is too much.
- 7:41But the reality is, if you're a business person and you
- 7:47researched something, you took out time, you researched that
- 7:50thing, nobody was doing it. Yes, people might be selling
- 7:54that particular phone even before B Lord, but who brought
- 7:58it to the limelight? He did that publicity.
- 8:01If as a business person you could, you paid B Lord to do
- 8:05that advert, you know how much you'd have paid billowed.
- 8:08That would have been a whole lot of money that you would have
- 8:11paid billow to do that, to do the advert.
- 8:13But he did that because he was advertising for his business.
- 8:16So whether you like it or not, he has businesses, he has staff,
- 8:20he has shops that he needs to, he pays tax.
- 8:25So he's a businessman and all those things need to be factored
- 8:28in. Some people just sit down at
- 8:30home and sell things. You're not, you don't have a
- 8:34brick and mortar kind of situation or structure.
- 8:37So you don't factor in all those costs.
- 8:40But if you're a business person who pays staff every month, who
- 8:43pays lights generator bill, you, you, you, you run a business on
- 8:50a day-to-day basis, which according to people in Nigeria
- 8:53it is very expensive. So you have to factor in all
- 8:56those costs into the whole thing.
- 8:58But is he right? The profit margin?
- 9:02I think for me, everything depends on how much you want to
- 9:07make. So now VD, I'm trying to stop
- 9:09Billot from making that amount of profit.
- 9:12Shared his number or shared said he's sharing the number of the
- 9:16Chinese people for people to contact them directly and buy
- 9:20those phones. Ladies and gentlemen, it was
- 9:23actually Vidian sister. He's he shared his sister's
- 9:27number and people started contacting her and it was
- 9:30actually his sister and what's her name that So it was a reason
- 9:35concerned. They said video we're trying to
- 9:37scam also we're running from B Lord and then we're thinking
- 9:42that you are the the right person to run to, but you're
- 9:44trying to scam us. But I just think that VDM, if he
- 9:50wants to do business, he's going about it the wrong way, which is
- 9:54why I said he is not a businessman.
- 9:57Because the reality is that in business there's no permanent
- 10:03enemy. It's just like politics.
- 10:05There's no permanent enemy. There's no permanent friend.
- 10:07Because at the end of the day, there's going to be a point
- 10:10where you're going to do business with one, 2-3 or four
- 10:13people that maybe you're not in good terms with.
- 10:17Or you're going to be in a room or that person might be in a
- 10:20room where they will have to recommend somebody.
- 10:24And if your name comes up, they might not want to work with you
- 10:27because of that feedback or the feedback they will give to those
- 10:31people will make them not to work with you.
- 10:33So there are so many things wrong in the way VDM went about
- 10:41it. For me.
- 10:41I think VDM has the platform, he has the reach he has.
- 10:46Like if I was VDM, I will go to China, look at something that,
- 10:50OK, everybody is buying and maybe rebrand, let's say
- 10:55chargers, let's say that because you know that everybody's buying
- 10:59charger, let's say power bank, you know, everybody's buying
- 11:02power bank, let's say adapt. There are some things that you
- 11:05know that everybody needs. And most times because of your
- 11:11rich people are going to buy from you.
- 11:14Why not partner with people if people are going to China to buy
- 11:18it for maybe, or they're ordering from China and they're
- 11:22buying it for maybe 500 naira. And you, you know that in China
- 11:26they're selling it wholesale price for 200 naira and you can
- 11:30ship it for maybe because you're buying in large quantities,
- 11:33you're shipping it for maybe 100 naira.
- 11:37You could make massive amount of money because if they're buying
- 11:41it for 500 and then you can make maybe 100 naira.
- 11:45Listen, I think, yeah, he's not a businessman.
- 11:49He's not actually a businessman because if money was the the the
- 11:54goal, which is why people say VDM tries to or likes bringing
- 12:00people down. And this is becoming true
- 12:04because if money was the goal, if he was trying to enlighten
- 12:06people, there are so many things he could have just bought his
- 12:09own phone without mentioning a bill.
- 12:12Lord, There are so many things that people are selling at a
- 12:15very high amount that he could have crashed the price without
- 12:20even bringing anybody down. But that is his model.
- 12:25He likes calling people out. He likes setting, maybe trying
- 12:30to be the the big wolves, the big, you know, trying to make
- 12:35sure that people see that he's trying to do good.
- 12:39Yeah. What do you think?
- 12:42If you were in B Lord's shoe, would you have?
- 12:44And B Lord in this whole fight share the very dark man's his
- 12:52Bola, his nude. B Lord told everybody what all
- 12:57these followers that anybody listen VDM has sold nude online
- 13:05on Snapchat, on TikTok, wherever on Twitter or X he he has done
- 13:12that. So one when the whole fight was
- 13:15hitting up Billot asked his followers to share anybody that
- 13:19gives him the nude he's going to give the person 500,000.
- 13:23Somebody sensed that to Billot. Billot credited person and share
- 13:27the video on WhatsApp now video. I'm finding that out decided to
- 13:31send a a fresh a fresh and recent video to to to be load.
- 13:39I mean he promised to be sending us on a daily basis.
- 13:43But these two people, I think VDM is just mad because because
- 13:48he said imagine that small boy. That was one, one thing he said
- 13:51I was like that small boy, Why? I think what has that got to do?
- 13:54He has a business mindset. OK, yes, whether you, you the
- 13:59both of you are the same age as a billionaire according to
- 14:02people, I don't know, I am not in their pockets, but that is
- 14:07the story. Even if the small boy is doing
- 14:09business and he's a billionaire, what has that got to do with
- 14:13anything? And in the middle of this whole
- 14:15conversations and Nigerians who want to belong, people who don't
- 14:20have money to buy iPhone 17 Pro are going for iPhone Sr which
- 14:28has been upgraded to iPhone, iPhone 17.
- 14:31Like just imagine you were using iPhone 13, you couldn't buy
- 14:35iPhone 14, you couldn't buy iPhone 15, you couldn't buy
- 14:38iPhone 16 and then iPhone 17 is out.
- 14:43So now you have to drop iPhone 13 to take iPhone Sr, which was
- 14:50produced I think the last production was or was produced
- 14:52in 2019. Just because you want to hold a
- 14:56phone that matches the the wave or the new thing to just to
- 15:01belong is the problem. VDM is the problem B Lord or are
- 15:08we Nigerians actually the problem?
- 15:12People who want to belong at all cost, People who want to, who
- 15:16want to arrive because even the culture pushes that if you
- 15:19arrive at an event, not looking the part, nobody's going to
- 15:22consider you. People might even just share
- 15:25food and not even give you. But if you arrive at an event
- 15:28and you're holding your iPhone Sr, which has been upgraded to
- 15:3317 Pro, people will run around like you're only 4 million in
- 15:37your hand. You will see people rallying
- 15:39around, trying to serve you, greeting you, opening the doors,
- 15:42doing all those things. So who are we to blame in this
- 15:46situation? Is it Nigerians who are buying
- 15:48these fake upgraded, upgraded phones?
- 15:52Or is it these two people that just want to use us to play?
- 15:56Let me know what you think. Thank you very much for
- 15:58attending this episode. Please like, like, like and
- 15:59share. Thank you very much for
- 16:01watching. Bye bye.
