- 0:36Speaker 5: This week we're speaking to five of the top wardrobe
- 0:40Speaker 5: people in Hollywood.
- 0:42Speaker 4: What you look like is important in a movie or
- 0:46Speaker 4: TV show, and these people know all about that.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Buckle up, zipper in and listen in.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Hey, I'm Tricia lish I'm Trisa Lisha, and I do
- 1:02Speaker 5: wardrobe for the Disney Channel.
- 1:05Speaker 6: I'm Pamela Soup and I did most of the leather
- 1:10Speaker 6: and plastic work for Star Wars.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I'm a huge fan.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I love that, I love that.
- 1:17Speaker 6: I'm flattered. I'm flattered in many ways. I am a legend.
- 1:22Speaker 6: But they didn't ask me to come back for the
- 1:25Speaker 6: for the new movies, for the new films.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I'm so sorry to hear that well.
- 1:30Speaker 6: It's it is the way it is, you know, the
- 1:32Speaker 6: the industry moves and it evolves. It's like the Pacific
- 1:36Speaker 6: Ocean in so many ways. And unfortunately I was the garbage.
- 1:41Speaker 4: But you're big garbage. You're a trash island Pamela, and
- 1:44Speaker 4: we love it. My name is Lizzie Tequila, and I
- 1:47Speaker 4: do all of the wardrobe of everything that shoots in Hawaii.
- 1:53Speaker 4: So I am on, I was I'm lost. I do
- 1:57Speaker 4: a lot of the Jurassic Parks. I do you know,
- 1:59Speaker 4: if you come Hawaii, you're working with me, and I
- 2:03Speaker 4: love it. I kind of run the wardrobe shops there
- 2:05Speaker 4: and it's just so great to be on the mainland
- 2:08Speaker 4: with everybody here so nice.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I'm Larry. I work in uh you might know me.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I did all a Downton Abbey.
- 2:17Speaker 7: I am the Gilded Age.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Most recently is the show I'm on Love That. I
- 2:23Speaker 3: am a corset motherfucker. Good to be here.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Thomas two time Marvel?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Okay, wait, can you clarify it?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Thomas two time? Marvel. I work in Marvel, and I
- 2:38Speaker 2: do the Marvel started Game of Thrones. Switch to Marvel
- 2:44Speaker 2: and you do it two times. I've done it twice.
- 2:48Speaker 2: They call me Thomas two times. Sorry because I get on.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I do it twice. I pick an outfit. The first
- 2:56Speaker 2: one trash throw it away, the second one that's it.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It has to be it, and that's it.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Oh see, you're more of the like second times, the
- 3:04Speaker 1: charm kind of guy.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It is the charm. It's always the charm.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Do you ever do you shoot for it to be
- 3:10Speaker 4: the second one?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Do you pick some time? I've never shot anyone. I've
- 3:13Speaker 2: never shot anyone, just.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Like, do you is the goal to go for the
- 3:17Speaker 4: first time or do you just kind of wash it away?
- 3:18Speaker 2: I'm guessing every goal is the first time. Perfection take twice?
- 3:23Speaker 4: Okay, thank you, you can. You can get your hand off
- 3:26Speaker 4: of my wrist.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Thank you. Listen, it takes two times, got it? I
- 3:33Speaker 2: love that.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I love your We have so many dominant personalities here today.
- 3:38Speaker 2: This will be yes, not one straight man in the bunch.
- 3:40Speaker 6: I think yes, Thomas grabbed the other wrist.
- 3:45Speaker 2: No, I would prefer you don't grab the other wrist.
- 3:46Speaker 2: He said, he wants me to grab the other Pamela said,
- 3:49Speaker 2: she wants me to grab the other wrist. I'll grab
- 3:51Speaker 2: the other wrist.
- 3:52Speaker 4: It's my wrist and I would like that. I would
- 3:54Speaker 4: like no, I would like that.
- 3:55Speaker 6: Not nice.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, all right, well you've done it. You have
- 4:00Speaker 4: with your wrist in my hand. So what's everyone up to?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Ah, let's do it. I mean, let's talk about it.
- 4:09Speaker 4: A lot of I know, a lot of people come
- 4:12Speaker 4: up and ask me, what's it like to work in
- 4:15Speaker 4: the industry, in this specific field. How would you explain
- 4:19Speaker 4: to someone who doesn't know what wardrobes is.
- 4:21Speaker 5: I would say, wardrobes is, you know, it's clothing. A
- 4:25Speaker 5: lot of people don't know this that they think that
- 4:28Speaker 5: the actors just like magically have those clothes, but they don't.
- 4:31Speaker 5: You know, they come to us, we have like a
- 4:33Speaker 5: fitting day, and then they come back, and then we
- 4:36Speaker 5: put the clothes back on them, and then they go
- 4:38Speaker 5: out and then our little babies they go out into
- 4:40Speaker 5: the world and they're ready to act. And that's a
- 4:42Speaker 5: little thing that people don't always know about wardrobe, is
- 4:44Speaker 5: that we put the clothes on them.
- 4:47Speaker 3: It is wild when I made someone who doesn't understand that.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Yeah, And bouncing off of that, I think so much
- 4:53Speaker 6: of wardrobe is looking at someone's naked body nah and
- 4:58Speaker 6: thinking I could do better. Than that. There are ways
- 5:02Speaker 6: to improve that, there are ways to hide that away,
- 5:06Speaker 6: there are ways to protect the public. And that's our job.
- 5:11Speaker 6: In many ways, we are on the front lines of
- 5:14Speaker 6: shielding people what otherwise would be a shocking amount of nudity.
- 5:22Speaker 7: Exactly, you got all those weird alien actors playing all
- 5:25Speaker 7: those weird frickin' parts with those ears.
- 5:27Speaker 4: My god, I've always wanted to ask with some of
- 5:30Speaker 4: those people in like alien costumes or were those actual Well.
- 5:34Speaker 6: It's it is a mix. Ultimately, they are all people.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It's such a statement about aliens people too.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Well, well, well, we find people with creative there, they're
- 5:48Speaker 6: shaped creatively. We'll put out a casting call and will say,
- 5:52Speaker 6: you know, we're looking for someone with two tentacles coming
- 5:55Speaker 6: out of the head, two fleshy growths, or we're looking
- 5:58Speaker 6: for someone with a couple of rows of breasts. Wo
- 6:02Speaker 6: just to make things easier on us going forward. And
- 6:06Speaker 6: you know, sometimes they think, oh, we're never going to
- 6:08Speaker 6: find someone like that, but we always do. And then
- 6:11Speaker 6: you know what, we slap them in spandex We put
- 6:14Speaker 6: them on a cruiser and off they go.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Are you talking directly to casting sometimes Pamela in terms
- 6:20Speaker 3: of what is uh what works for your the uh
- 6:26Speaker 3: sculpting of what you're going to create.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Yes, it's important to communicate directly with casting because we
- 6:32Speaker 6: do have to get a lot of plaster molds. Sometimes
- 6:35Speaker 6: people have to sit under the plaster for hours on end.
- 6:38Speaker 6: And I'm not going to lie to you. We lost
- 6:40Speaker 6: a couple actors that way.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that's so tough.
- 6:45Speaker 4: If you don't put the straw in their nose, they're
- 6:46Speaker 4: a goner.
- 6:47Speaker 6: And you sometimes, you know what, we use the paper
- 6:49Speaker 6: straw a couple of times. That bad boy.
- 6:53Speaker 3: You can't save the earth and save those humans that I.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Say talking open your eyes. Plastic straws are killing people.
- 6:59Speaker 4: I know that they're killing turdles, but they are also
- 7:01Speaker 4: paper straws are killing people.
- 7:02Speaker 6: That's beautiful people first.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yeah, always, what was it like working with George? I
- 7:09Speaker 4: hear so many stories.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Oh it was wonderful. George would come into the workshop
- 7:13Speaker 6: and he'd say, oh God, and then he'd walk out.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It was horrifying for him.
- 7:20Speaker 6: It was terrifying. He didn't know what was going on.
- 7:23Speaker 6: He'd say, oh, you know, what have you done? But
- 7:25Speaker 6: I knew he loved it. You know, I could see
- 7:27Speaker 6: in his eyes that he'd delighted in our creations and
- 7:32Speaker 6: our wild creations.
- 7:34Speaker 2: That we read.
- 7:34Speaker 1: He ever like say that, did he ever express that?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Like?
- 7:37Speaker 5: Was there ever a time he came into the wardrobe
- 7:39Speaker 5: department and expressed an emotion that was not fear or
- 7:43Speaker 5: was it mostly fear?
- 7:44Speaker 6: It was, well, sometimes it was sadness. Most of the
- 7:49Speaker 6: time he was scared. But sometimes he'd walk in and
- 7:51Speaker 6: he'd shed a single tear and he'd walk out, and
- 7:54Speaker 6: we said, you know what, We've done our job because
- 7:56Speaker 6: these costumes are emotional, they're sad.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Wow.
- 8:00Speaker 6: He saw the Tuscan Raider outfit, which we just wrapped gaze.
- 8:05Speaker 6: We just wrapped Goaz around a man's head.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Can I can? I say?
- 8:08Speaker 7: I watched that with my husband and I saw that
- 8:10Speaker 7: Tusken Raider outfit and I said, that's gotta be Pamela soup.
- 8:13Speaker 6: That was it. It's a Pamela Soup original. They said,
- 8:16Speaker 6: we can't have his face out. You know, he's got
- 8:18Speaker 6: to look like an alien. I said, love that. Wrap
- 8:20Speaker 6: some gods around him, slap some buttons on that on
- 8:23Speaker 6: that bitch, and you know, send him out, send him out.
- 8:26Speaker 6: Film it done. We're done. We taped it so much. Yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 6: things have moved along, you know since my time. Now
- 8:32Speaker 6: we got the Marvel, we had a Marvel movies.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I mean, I can't imagine.
- 8:37Speaker 4: It's two different worlds between you guys, the differences in
- 8:40Speaker 4: in what you guys are doing with wardrobe. I mean, Tommy,
- 8:43Speaker 4: what kind of stuff? I mean, I know a lot
- 8:44Speaker 4: of your stuff is green screen, So you're doing a
- 8:46Speaker 4: lot of mo capsuits.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Correct, Yes, it's the nightmare.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Say you've only worked on two films.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Uh No, I've worked on multiple Marvel films and Game
- 8:58Speaker 2: of Thrones, but I only call costume twice. Hardest thing
- 9:02Speaker 2: about mocab putting it on twice.
- 9:07Speaker 4: You costume twice. But so does that mean you've done
- 9:10Speaker 4: two movies or you do you try on two different
- 9:12Speaker 4: I don't.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Know how this is confusing. It makes a lot of
- 9:15Speaker 2: sense to me. Game of Thrones, huge show, so true.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Thank you do you do this tons?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Thank you so much. I costumed Game of Thrones that twice.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I costumed it twice.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I got the like per episode or.
- 9:30Speaker 6: I'm just wait a minute, you costumed this series Game
- 9:33Speaker 6: of thronts like you costumed the credits.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I costume dressed and clothes. Well, sometimes you have to
- 9:41Speaker 2: do that in order to get into character.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Like you picked the font.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I don't didn't. It wasn't a font pick. I'm not
- 9:49Speaker 2: sure what font is. I what I did was I
- 9:52Speaker 2: costume the entire Game of Thrones twice? I don't know
- 9:55Speaker 2: how to make this more clear. Is font some sort
- 9:59Speaker 2: of streak show two times?
- 10:01Speaker 4: Because I've only seen it once and they only made
- 10:03Speaker 4: it once.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I have watched it twice. Yes, if that's the question.
- 10:07Speaker 5: No, anyway, So like physically in a day, maybe we
- 10:10Speaker 5: could get it this way, walk me through, Like what happens.
- 10:13Speaker 2: When you go to work physically in a day? One
- 10:16Speaker 2: wake up to two pushups, three, two sit ups four,
- 10:21Speaker 2: two cups of coffee.
- 10:23Speaker 3: This is your personal one.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Okay, can you speed up to call time?
- 10:26Speaker 2: Okay? Call time? Well? What time is call time? Let's
- 10:29Speaker 2: say Well, let's say let's say nine am, nine am,
- 10:33Speaker 2: very late call time? Wow, fantastic, Okay, okay, so pick
- 10:37Speaker 2: your car time, Tommy, I didn't decide this. Picked my
- 10:40Speaker 2: call time. Okay, four am.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Your car time is four am because early call time.
- 10:46Speaker 5: Okay, but this isn't a real shoot. Okay, let's say hypothetically,
- 10:49Speaker 5: your call time is seven am.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Okay, my call time is seven am. By four, I'm up.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm doing my things. In two I get to set,
- 11:00Speaker 2: I say hello to everyone, make sure my name is good.
- 11:03Speaker 2: An actor comes in, I dress them twice. It's over.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Are you looking for the word spare? It seems like
- 11:11Speaker 6: you're trying to say the word spare.
- 11:13Speaker 2: What is spare?
- 11:15Speaker 6: Okay?
- 11:16Speaker 2: What is? I don't know what you guys mean by
- 11:19Speaker 2: these words.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I know, and I think we do group. I think
- 11:22Speaker 3: we put what we call a pin in it and
- 11:24Speaker 3: we're all good at that. Let's because this is making
- 11:29Speaker 3: me nauseous, Babe.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I love that, Larry, I love that.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Speaking of putting pins in, you probably do a lot
- 11:35Speaker 4: of those. The corset King of uh of Los Angeles,
- 11:40Speaker 4: I'm the corset King.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Of Los Angeles.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, like.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Working with stuff that's like so.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Old, Oh, I mean, it's a fucking nightmare. My hands
- 11:51Speaker 3: are falling off. I have the most wrinkly hands you've
- 11:54Speaker 3: ever seen. My husband will let me touch him anymore.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I could poke and pry all I want with my hands. There,
- 12:00Speaker 3: I work with my hands like my mother did, and
- 12:02Speaker 3: like her mother did.
- 12:04Speaker 2: What did your mother do.
- 12:07Speaker 3: She was a seamstress. Anyway, I worked mostly with Cynthia
- 12:10Speaker 3: Nixon these days and talk about bare bodies. She's a fox.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Did she wear a corset? And just like that?
- 12:18Speaker 5: No?
- 12:19Speaker 3: In Gilded Age.
- 12:22Speaker 7: They called me on for just like that, and I said,
- 12:25Speaker 7: I can't dress these gals like I wear all black. Okay,
- 12:30Speaker 7: I only I grew up fantasizing about the eighteen hundreds.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I am an old soul.
- 12:36Speaker 6: Larry. Yeah, are you still using whalebones in the corsets?
- 12:42Speaker 3: Oh, you better believe it. I ship them from a
- 12:44Speaker 3: guy in Los Felas.
- 12:45Speaker 7: He's got these whalebones in the back of his garage,
- 12:48Speaker 7: and I get them.
- 12:49Speaker 3: We put them on the body, and then boom.
- 12:52Speaker 2: What kind of whalebone?
- 12:54Speaker 3: The pelvic bone? Big whale pelvic Well, it's broken down, obviously,
- 13:03Speaker 3: obviously it's most feels. He doesn't have that big of.
- 13:07Speaker 6: A girl I got. I gotta wonder what a whale
- 13:11Speaker 6: does with the pelvis.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I will leave that up to the marine biologist Pamela.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Okay, but I mean, how does the how.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Does the whale have babies? It uses his pelvic right?
- 13:24Speaker 2: Sure?
- 13:24Speaker 6: None of mind business.
- 13:26Speaker 4: So so do you spend a lot of time in
- 13:27Speaker 4: the UK. Are you working over there, because they do
- 13:29Speaker 4: a lot of periods.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I have a flat over there and over here in Glendale.
- 13:35Speaker 7: I go back and forth. My husband lives in uh
- 13:38Speaker 7: in London town. Yeah, he's a brit Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 6: I'm so sorry for you.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Oh, Pam, you have a you have a thing against britt.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Let's just say yes.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I guess I'm dying to know Trisha liiciouts.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I mean I could.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I don't know how you kids work these days. What
- 14:08Speaker 3: are you eighteen?
- 14:09Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, well yeah I am nineteen, and thank you
- 14:13Speaker 1: so much.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I am ancient. I am ancient.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Oh my god, literally, stop, babe.
- 14:18Speaker 2: You look like I'm bones.
- 14:20Speaker 5: You look like you could be my little sister. No,
- 14:23Speaker 5: it looks like you could be my little sisters, like.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Sister.
- 14:28Speaker 1: No, you look like something else. You look like my grandpa.
- 14:31Speaker 5: But you Yeah, I started a Disney channel, and uh.
- 14:37Speaker 5: The layering is a problem. As you mentioned, it's I mean,
- 14:41Speaker 5: it's the signature, it's the brand. We got to do it.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Vest over shirt over another shirt, over jacket, over leggings
- 14:47Speaker 5: over skirt, and that's sort.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Of the formula.
- 14:51Speaker 5: But it is causing a lot of the actors to overheat,
- 14:54Speaker 5: so we do have a lot of body doubles for
- 14:56Speaker 5: a lot of the actors. We just sort of like
- 14:58Speaker 5: swap them out on an every thirty minutes basis so
- 15:00Speaker 5: that they don't get heat stroke. So it was tough
- 15:02Speaker 5: to learn it first, but once you get into it,
- 15:04Speaker 5: it like totally makes sense with the switching schedule, but
- 15:07Speaker 5: it is hectic for us.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Body doubles are hard for wordshrope too, because you have
- 15:11Speaker 4: to get so many costumes the same thing. So it's
- 15:15Speaker 4: like sometimes you find one shirt, but you can only
- 15:17Speaker 4: find one. You can't find the second one, and you're like,
- 15:19Speaker 4: well then I can't use it. That's so frustrating.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Yeah, actors love to complain too, They love to complain.
- 15:24Speaker 3: My god, dude, goodness, what is.
- 15:27Speaker 4: The worst actor complaint you guys have heard?
- 15:29Speaker 3: Oh, let me get my chapter book.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Oh god, for me, it's help help. The at eight
- 15:36Speaker 6: is crushing me.
- 15:40Speaker 2: What a terrible complaint?
- 15:42Speaker 7: Oh you know, Pam, mine sound very similar. Mine always
- 15:45Speaker 7: help help the whale pelvic bone hurts, help help.
- 15:48Speaker 3: It's the same shit, different.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Actors, the same thing, same day, different whale, same day.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Absolutely, yeah, yeah, yeah, mine is it's help help. My
- 15:58Speaker 4: vest is too tight. That was Chris Pratt. It was
- 16:00Speaker 4: so annoying. Nothing ever fits right for him.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, No one can really nail him down.
- 16:09Speaker 5: I get a lot of from the uh, like middle
- 16:12Speaker 5: aged actresses on Disney Channel going help help. I'm so
- 16:15Speaker 5: fucking frumpy. I'm so fucking frumpy. You've dressed me like
- 16:18Speaker 5: a frump. You've dressed me like a frump.
- 16:21Speaker 1: What am I gonna do?
- 16:22Speaker 5: They have like full on breakdowns something about being a
- 16:25Speaker 5: mom on the Disney Channel.
- 16:26Speaker 1: It like sends people in detail spins.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Lizzie Tequila, I don't know what shows you work on,
- 16:31Speaker 3: what shows you work on?
- 16:32Speaker 4: Oh, I just do anything that comes to Hawaii. I'm
- 16:34Speaker 4: on it, so you know anything.
- 16:36Speaker 3: There's no genre. It's just that you just.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Literally wear a production house in Hawaii, and I'm just
- 16:40Speaker 4: doing what you need. Jurassic World, a lot of the
- 16:44Speaker 4: big movies. We did the American idol uh Hawaii Vacation episode.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yes, I love that episode.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Reality TV Katie Perry is nearly two dimensional. She's so
- 16:57Speaker 4: you don't see it. She's so flat on the back.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Her back is so flat it's you don't see it.
- 17:04Speaker 2: On TV. It's crazy. The secrets that we.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Know are like a cardboard cutout of Katie Perry.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I believe it was her.
- 17:12Speaker 4: She was so flat and you wouldn't believe it when
- 17:14Speaker 4: the when the rain came, because we get a lot
- 17:16Speaker 4: of rain in Hawaii, crumpled to a crisp.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Tu like a cardboard cut out.
- 17:21Speaker 4: I don't know, I don't know. I just dress what
- 17:23Speaker 4: they tell me too, so it looks like her. And
- 17:26Speaker 4: I love her, by the way. She's so nice, such
- 17:28Speaker 4: a nicer, so nice. Oh my god, I talked to
- 17:31Speaker 4: her for hours. She's so sweet.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Did she ever say anything back or was it just kind.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Of well, you don't want to push the talent.
- 17:39Speaker 4: You know what I like to do is I like
- 17:41Speaker 4: to talk at the talent because that doesn't give them
- 17:43Speaker 4: the pressure to have to respond.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Was she trying on the clothes or were you helping
- 17:49Speaker 2: her tryumph?
- 17:49Speaker 4: I was helping her. But you know, you know how
- 17:51Speaker 4: that is. I'm sure you guys have had actors that
- 17:53Speaker 4: have said I won't you know, well, first of all nothing.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Second of all, actors that have said, oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 18:01Speaker 4: you know I put.
- 18:03Speaker 6: That when you're trying to you're trying to get clothes
- 18:06Speaker 6: on them and they go limp.
- 18:07Speaker 4: I hate that. Oh my god, you know who does that?
- 18:13Speaker 3: Here a nightly and I go fruit snacks for miss
- 18:15Speaker 3: Knightley please.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:18Speaker 5: I was trying to put on a button down on
- 18:20Speaker 5: the mom for Wizards of Waverley Place and she just
- 18:22Speaker 5: started shrieking.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I believe it. Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 4: So, so I've been in Hawaii just doing whatever I can.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I used to really kind of hit the grind out
- 18:31Speaker 4: here in Los Angeles, but I fell in love and
- 18:34Speaker 4: in a moving in Hawaii. Then I fell out of
- 18:36Speaker 4: love and I stayed in Hawaii, and I fell in
- 18:38Speaker 4: love with Hawaii. So, but I was working on a
- 18:40Speaker 4: lot of different things here in LA I was working on, uh,
- 18:46Speaker 4: just basically different things at the Radford lot, so a
- 18:50Speaker 4: lot of So.
- 18:53Speaker 6: You did work on Jurassic Park. Huh you did work
- 18:56Speaker 6: in Jurassic.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Park, World, Jurassic Worlds, Jurassic World. Yeah, not Jurassic Park.
- 19:01Speaker 4: So I didn't get to work with Stephen. I guess
- 19:03Speaker 4: I was was Steven around at all? I know him
- 19:05Speaker 4: and Georgia friends.
- 19:06Speaker 6: I need a last name.
- 19:07Speaker 4: I don't Spielberg.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Oh god, yes.
- 19:14Speaker 4: He was.
- 19:15Speaker 6: He was around the dinosaurs. They weren't. They weren't in anything.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Was that your call?
- 19:22Speaker 4: Or was that the dinophors the dinas dinophors were special effects?
- 19:27Speaker 4: And so we called we called them dinophors because because
- 19:32Speaker 4: they're not real dinosaurs don't. No, it's true, we call
- 19:37Speaker 4: them dinophors because the fake take the S out for fake. Yes,
- 19:45Speaker 4: so so the Indominus rex fake.
- 19:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:48Speaker 4: I don't want to blow you know. I don't know
- 19:50Speaker 4: if I'm allowed to talk about this stuff. This is
- 19:51Speaker 4: computer stuff though, raptors fake, the big sea thing fake
- 19:56Speaker 4: and so, and I was wrecked because I wanted to
- 19:58Speaker 4: make those They still.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Had a lot of people. I heard Bryce Dallas Howard
- 20:04Speaker 2: was also a dinophore.
- 20:06Speaker 4: She was Bryce Dalle's Howard is one hundred percent fake. Yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 4: she was created in a lab.
- 20:11Speaker 6: As anyone done wardrobe or wardrobe research work for animated
- 20:16Speaker 6: films because they asked me to work on rat tattooing,
- 20:19Speaker 6: and I said, absolutely not.
- 20:21Speaker 2: You've got to take those jobs. You've got to take
- 20:23Speaker 2: those jobs. Why I'm telling you you've got to take
- 20:28Speaker 2: those jobs? Why why I'm telling what's not making sense?
- 20:35Speaker 2: You have to take those jobs.
- 20:36Speaker 4: But we all get we're all working a lot.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Why do we need to take those jobs? Picture this?
- 20:41Speaker 2: You show up and you're dressing something that doesn't isn't there.
- 20:45Speaker 2: It's like Marvel. When you go into a Marvel set,
- 20:48Speaker 2: you don't know who you're dressing and who you're imagining
- 20:51Speaker 2: that day. You've got to take those jobs.
- 20:53Speaker 3: Do I do fittings with them?
- 20:55Speaker 2: It's fantastic you're taking You're basically sitting with a computer
- 20:59Speaker 2: scientist for upwards of eighty to one hundred and twenty
- 21:03Speaker 2: hours a week, slowly designing a piece of cloth for
- 21:07Speaker 2: an animal or a young girl. I had a quick
- 21:12Speaker 2: chance to work twice on Encanto, and I'm sorry I
- 21:15Speaker 2: worked twice and much in Canto.
- 21:18Speaker 4: But how did you work twice on that animated film?
- 21:20Speaker 2: So I worked twice on it, meaning I went twice
- 21:23Speaker 2: and worked on it two day rates?
- 21:25Speaker 3: You did two days?
- 21:26Speaker 2: No? What day rate?
- 21:29Speaker 3: I mean trying to get down to the two What
- 21:30Speaker 3: happens in two hours?
- 21:33Speaker 2: So I go in there and we are dressing everybody twice,
- 21:36Speaker 2: just to make sure that that you know, all the
- 21:38Speaker 2: characters are covered. And this is a kid?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Are you talking about how you work on a lot
- 21:42Speaker 4: of movies? Where people have two looks.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Like they have a backup.
- 21:45Speaker 2: What okay, what is a look and what's a backup?
- 21:48Speaker 2: I'm not sure you guys are using all this slang,
- 21:51Speaker 2: and I don't appreciate it. Basically, I went into Incanto
- 21:55Speaker 2: and I'm dressing these this Madrigal family for upwards of,
- 22:00Speaker 2: you know, two hundred hours a week. You've got to
- 22:03Speaker 2: take this job they did. It's easy me.
- 22:06Speaker 5: That sounds like a better deal because those families actually
- 22:09Speaker 5: wore clothes.
- 22:10Speaker 1: But when I worked on cars too, it was a nightmare.
- 22:14Speaker 5: I drove, I drew so many I consulted on so
- 22:17Speaker 5: many outfits, little outfits for the car, a little overalls
- 22:20Speaker 5: for Larry the cable guy's car to wear, and it
- 22:23Speaker 5: just didn't happen.
- 22:23Speaker 1: They just ended up cutting it.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Because I will say, when I went in for in Kanto,
- 22:27Speaker 2: they showed me some of your drawings for cars, and
- 22:30Speaker 2: I gotta say, when you put the main truck guy
- 22:35Speaker 2: in a little too two, I thought it was mader.
- 22:38Speaker 2: You put mad Her in long socks and a dress
- 22:41Speaker 2: and jeans and a jacket and a vest and a
- 22:45Speaker 2: hoodie and then a collared shirt, and I thought, this
- 22:48Speaker 2: truck is going to catch on fire. It looks amazing.
- 22:51Speaker 6: I absolutely agree. And you put the you put the
- 22:53Speaker 6: lady Lawyer car in a beautiful look. You put her
- 22:58Speaker 6: in a beautiful line dress with a little a little
- 23:02Speaker 6: pinkaboo slit, a little pikaboo slit on the side.
- 23:06Speaker 5: I'm so honored that you guys have seen my unreleased
- 23:09Speaker 5: works to this is like fantastic.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it was going around.
- 23:13Speaker 3: It was time.
- 23:14Speaker 7: I was in London at the time and I got
- 23:16Speaker 7: my god, I guess we're sending my stuff out.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I well, no, it was going around.
- 23:21Speaker 4: It was going around the Wardrobers Uncensored Facebook group that
- 23:25Speaker 4: was big, and that's where I.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Love that love that down the middle on vaccines. It
- 23:32Speaker 2: was so much down the middle on vaccines. Yes, very
- 23:37Speaker 2: very torn on vaccines that group.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I lost some friends in those debates. I'm really grateful
- 23:41Speaker 4: that you guys are talking to me.
- 23:43Speaker 7: No, those guys at Station eleven, that wardrobe department is
- 23:48Speaker 7: un vaccinated.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Those guys can suck my ass. I hate everyone over
- 23:53Speaker 4: at Station eleven. I hated them, and honestly, all their
- 23:56Speaker 4: clothes looked like they found them in a in a
- 23:58Speaker 4: in the l a river, like the look like shit.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Everyone on Last Man Standing with Tim Allen completely unvaccinated
- 24:04Speaker 5: wardrobe department. Nobody's vaccinated.
- 24:07Speaker 3: How do they get onto the lot?
- 24:10Speaker 5: They have their own things. I heard Tim Allen like
- 24:14Speaker 5: sends security.
- 24:15Speaker 4: To just like I heard they dug under the fence
- 24:19Speaker 4: and they go in and they go around.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Because that's at Radford.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Because so I know a lot of a lot of
- 24:23Speaker 4: my friends and a lot of my girlfriends are still
- 24:24Speaker 4: a red Radford, and so I remember that they told
- 24:26Speaker 4: me that there's a there's a tunnel. There's a Shawshank
- 24:29Speaker 4: style tunnel for all the unvaccinated to get onto that lot.
- 24:32Speaker 4: So you know that they're vaccinated because they're covered in shit.
- 24:36Speaker 6: I think we're being a little judgmental. I think we are.
- 24:39Speaker 4: I think, well, I'm sorry, I forgot your vehemently anti vas.
- 24:44Speaker 6: I hate, I hate. I don't like the idea of
- 24:46Speaker 6: being poked. You're pricked, and a lot of that. As
- 24:51Speaker 6: a wardrober, being covered in shit, I wouldn't mind it.
- 24:54Speaker 6: I think it would be nice to think it would
- 24:55Speaker 6: be refreshing.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Oh you dirty girl, you dirty girl.
- 24:59Speaker 6: That's right. I'm filthy, I'm disgusting. I'm an animal. I'm
- 25:03Speaker 6: a goddamn hug.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Oh God, Pamela soup. We just that's it, you know what.
- 25:09Speaker 6: I'm healthy as a horse. I'm like you know, Tim Allen,
- 25:12Speaker 6: Tim Allen, he didn't take the vaccine. He didn't need
- 25:15Speaker 6: to because he wakes up in the morning and he
- 25:17Speaker 6: does a bump.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Speaking of bomp, let's go around. What drugs does everybody do?
- 25:24Speaker 2: Oh?
- 25:25Speaker 7: I have a little bit of molly in every egg
- 25:27Speaker 7: yolk I have in the morning. Oh, I have an
- 25:30Speaker 7: egg yolk and my husband puts a little bit of.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Molley in there, see, injected like into the yolk part
- 25:36Speaker 5: and like into.
- 25:36Speaker 3: The yolk, into the yolk, and I'm straight to set.
- 25:39Speaker 6: And then you just you throw the white away. You
- 25:41Speaker 6: don't need the white egg.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Whites are so fattening.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Part.
- 25:50Speaker 3: No, it's America has it turned upside down over there.
- 25:54Speaker 6: So you think the clear part, the clear part is
- 25:58Speaker 6: the non fattening part and the rich milk like yellow part. Yes,
- 26:02Speaker 6: that's okay.
- 26:03Speaker 3: It's like when you order a burger and you take
- 26:06Speaker 3: out the middle and you eat the bread.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Who does that?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Eat the bread? Yes?
- 26:12Speaker 6: And you have it like TOAs you go to a
- 26:14Speaker 6: burger place and you ask for a burger.
- 26:16Speaker 5: So you pay like eighteen dollars a kitchen twenty four
- 26:18Speaker 5: and then you take out the bun or just the buns,
- 26:21Speaker 5: and you just eat the buns.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 7: I take out the unhealthy part, the greasy part, and
- 26:26Speaker 7: I have the bread the grain.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Well.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Drug wise, I like to go seeing on the Hawaiian Alps.
- 26:31Speaker 4: If you know what I mean, it's cocaine.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I love that.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I will say it. I definitely noticed a little bit
- 26:41Speaker 2: of cocaine influence on Hawaii five, Oh the way I
- 26:44Speaker 2: love you. Yes, yes, yeah, that was I will say.
- 26:49Speaker 2: My daughter, we don't speak a lot anymore, but we
- 26:51Speaker 2: loved Hawaii five. Oh, we loved your work.
- 26:54Speaker 4: That show is so fun. Scott Khan, by the way,
- 26:57Speaker 4: a prankster. He used to, uh take all my clothes
- 27:02Speaker 4: off and throw them into the ocean a.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Little more than a frank.
- 27:06Speaker 4: I think he said. He said it fucking measure my shoulders.
- 27:11Speaker 4: He would say, you don't. You can't get my shoulders
- 27:13Speaker 4: for shit, what are you doing? Would you think I'm
- 27:16Speaker 4: wearing football pads? He's so funny and I love him
- 27:20Speaker 4: and did He's great. Everyone's fun. Jimmy Buffett did an
- 27:23Speaker 4: episode of Hawaii. I've o is Frank Bama a really
- 27:26Speaker 4: fun pilot and he was fun and we had a
- 27:27Speaker 4: lot of fun.
- 27:29Speaker 6: And did you guys wrestle at all? No?
- 27:32Speaker 2: We didn't do any wrestling. Did you wrestle on Star
- 27:34Speaker 2: Trek Wars Star Wars?
- 27:36Speaker 6: No? I was always too frail. But I love to watch.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Oh so there was wrestling, but you avoided it.
- 27:44Speaker 6: There was always every day there was wrestling. Does the
- 27:47Speaker 6: fellows love to wrestle? And I watched from a distance
- 27:50Speaker 6: and I'd say, look, I'd admire the form.
- 27:53Speaker 1: And I so who was wrestling?
- 27:56Speaker 5: Was it like grips or was it cuter departments like
- 27:59Speaker 5: actors sing?
- 28:01Speaker 6: Well? It was it was. It was tournament style. It
- 28:05Speaker 6: was tournament style. And I think my favorite pairing was
- 28:09Speaker 6: George Lucas and one of the fella who the fellow
- 28:13Speaker 6: who fit inside of R two D two. They really
- 28:16Speaker 6: got into it. There's a little fella in there, and.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Who won?
- 28:23Speaker 6: Let me guess George, Well you would think that, but
- 28:28Speaker 6: someone left the starburst on the floor and he tripped.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Wow. I love that Carrie's picture. Did she ever get
- 28:36Speaker 4: in the wrestling? She was a boss?
- 28:37Speaker 2: I loved her.
- 28:38Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Everyone was terrified of Carrie, terrified, scared, scared
- 28:42Speaker 6: to pieces to wrestle with Carrie. I believe she always
- 28:45Speaker 6: had a little knife somewhere.
- 28:50Speaker 1: That's like not wrestling at that point.
- 28:52Speaker 6: At that point, it's not stopping every time. You know,
- 28:55Speaker 6: if she started to lose even a little bit, she'd
- 28:57Speaker 6: whip it out and say, chick, that son of a
- 29:00Speaker 6: bitch and she oh god, she swinging the knife around.
- 29:06Speaker 3: People got knives in their hands. They're slipping on starburs
- 29:09Speaker 3: What a crazy set.
- 29:10Speaker 6: It was a crazy set. It was insane. You know,
- 29:12Speaker 6: they don't do movies now like they used to do.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Are you working on anything currently?
- 29:19Speaker 6: That's a great question, And I absolutely am great. I
- 29:27Speaker 6: love that I'm working on What's what's the movie that's
- 29:32Speaker 6: coming out so Fast and Furious?
- 29:35Speaker 2: Wow?
- 29:36Speaker 6: Wow, And it's kind of a big journey for me.
- 29:40Speaker 6: It was a big step, you know.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Very different makeup of aliens.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, And and and that's such a fascinating working
- 29:47Speaker 4: in the seventies on Star Wars and then the next
- 29:50Speaker 4: thing we know you did is the newest Fast and
- 29:52Speaker 4: the Furious. What was going on in between? How do
- 29:54Speaker 4: you make that transition? How did you get there.
- 29:56Speaker 6: Oh I, well I raised a child.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Resume game.
- 30:01Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a big old resume gap.
- 30:03Speaker 2: And you know how long did you raise for? Fifty years? Well?
- 30:06Speaker 6: I got the child when they were sixteen and then
- 30:10Speaker 6: raised him for another seeah, sixty years. I think how
- 30:14Speaker 6: long was it between movies the child?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Oh?
- 30:17Speaker 5: Yeah, because okay, so nineteen seventy you adopted a sixteen
- 30:20Speaker 5: year old exactly raised that sixteen year old for about
- 30:23Speaker 5: fifty more years.
- 30:25Speaker 6: That's right, it's exactly right doing he's doing great, he's
- 30:29Speaker 6: your grandfather.
- 30:33Speaker 4: What did you decide you were done raising him?
- 30:35Speaker 2: And why did that happen? Oh?
- 30:37Speaker 6: I was done. I was done when he turned eighteen,
- 30:40Speaker 6: kicked him out of the house.
- 30:43Speaker 2: So that doesn't fill the resume gap.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Oh shit, did you you're after your Yeah?
- 30:50Speaker 6: I wanted to I wanted to travel. That's why I
- 30:52Speaker 6: hate what was it? I hate London.
- 30:54Speaker 3: That's why I hate londonsh I.
- 30:56Speaker 6: Hate Rits because I go there and they're all screaming
- 31:01Speaker 6: at me with their halatosis, and I'm like, what's what
- 31:05Speaker 6: a shitty town? What a shitty place to live?
- 31:08Speaker 1: I don't Yeah, it is a lot of screaming halosis.
- 31:13Speaker 6: A lot of screaming. They're all throwing throwing beans at
- 31:17Speaker 6: each other.
- 31:17Speaker 3: And yeah, I can only call there for so long. Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 3: I can only be there for so long. Small place, Yeah,
- 31:24Speaker 3: small doses. Same same with America as well.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Well that's why I'm over in Hawaii. It's just so
- 31:31Speaker 4: much nicer over there. I mean, you guys gotta come over.
- 31:33Speaker 4: I'm over on Kawaii, so you gotta come check it out.
- 31:36Speaker 3: I'm so And how old are you, Lizzy Takila?
- 31:40Speaker 4: I am fifty thrill or not? Ye, I'm fifty three.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Oh my god, babes, No, what do you mean?
- 31:48Speaker 2: No?
- 31:49Speaker 5: I mean no, that's impossible. You don't look a day
- 31:52Speaker 5: over fifteen.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 31:53Speaker 4: That's that Hawaiian sun and cocaine and mostly lotion.
- 31:59Speaker 3: You ripping head to toe in urban outfitters. I thought
- 32:03Speaker 3: there's no way she's over twenty.
- 32:04Speaker 5: You're literally flashing a fake ID all the time, just
- 32:08Speaker 5: like kind of like you know, when you're you're trying
- 32:12Speaker 5: to show that you have a fake ID, and it's
- 32:13Speaker 5: like kind of cool and you sort of like let
- 32:15Speaker 5: it leave it out so that people see.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Well, here's the thing, you know, this is a young
- 32:19Speaker 4: person's game. And we all know that. I think, Pamela,
- 32:21Speaker 4: I think you can agree with me. It's it's kind
- 32:23Speaker 4: of hard to be older than this, so I just
- 32:27Speaker 4: kind of am using my knowledge to look as young
- 32:30Speaker 4: as possible. And it is a fight, is a constant fight,
- 32:33Speaker 4: and it is hard, and I actually hate it.
- 32:36Speaker 2: But you have to do that because.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Otherwise people are going to say, oh, can you dress
- 32:40Speaker 4: you know, do the the new exotic Marygold Hotel. And
- 32:44Speaker 4: I don't want to dress old people. I want to
- 32:45Speaker 4: just young people. I don't want to just fund people.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Okay, what is your like? What's everyone's like? Wardrobe, pet peeves.
- 32:53Speaker 4: Like when people get ketchup on the shirts?
- 32:58Speaker 2: My hamber condiments, the amount of condiments that ruined games
- 33:02Speaker 2: Game of Thrones awful, awful, But I didn't break my
- 33:07Speaker 2: rule only twice.
- 33:09Speaker 4: What do you mean if.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Somebody gets a condiment on your shirt? Do they get
- 33:12Speaker 3: a third? Look?
- 33:14Speaker 2: Absolutely not. That breaks the rule. I'm Tommy two time,
- 33:18Speaker 2: Thomas two time? How is this not clear? I've made
- 33:23Speaker 2: myself extremely clear. Everybody has a method and an approach.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I don't sit here confused or giggling halfaiing about your methods.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Thank you? Do you know where I'm from, Austria, Austria.
- 33:41Speaker 2: No close.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Do you want us to guess?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Close?
- 33:47Speaker 1: Okay? Close to you want us to guess?
- 33:49Speaker 2: Or close?
- 33:51Speaker 3: You're impossible to communicate?
- 33:54Speaker 2: Do you remember how.
- 33:55Speaker 1: You get anything done?
- 33:58Speaker 2: Close? Close?
- 34:03Speaker 8: Croatia close, Belarus, be close, Monaco close, Boca Raton.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm from Santiago, Chile.
- 34:22Speaker 1: We were not close.
- 34:24Speaker 2: I was raised in Santiago.
- 34:28Speaker 3: My biggest pet peeve is when it's lunch is called,
- 34:33Speaker 3: and these mother efforts go to lunch in my gowns.
- 34:41Speaker 7: I am a strict bib or out. Sometimes I buy
- 34:45Speaker 7: scrubs to put on top of.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Them because I have I just can't have chicken Taraoki
- 34:52Speaker 3: on my gown that I found to play early sixteen hundred.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I can't know.
- 34:58Speaker 6: What I'm the Star Wars that we had all of
- 35:00Speaker 6: the actors stick their heads through a feeter like cattle that.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Sounds really efficient actually.
- 35:07Speaker 6: And they yeah, and they all stuck their little head
- 35:09Speaker 6: strew and we tossed some corn in there and they
- 35:12Speaker 6: and they ate it up.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Oh, I can't have corn, it's too unhealthy. Drunk food.
- 35:17Speaker 6: Tricia, what's your what's your pet peeve?
- 35:20Speaker 5: Well, my pet peeve is when you know, when you
- 35:23Speaker 5: put so many layers of clothing on a person that
- 35:27Speaker 5: the layers of clothes sort of form their own identity
- 35:30Speaker 5: and then start controlling the person's.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Mind every single time.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Don't we hate that?
- 35:37Speaker 4: Yes, don't we hate that?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Descendants?
- 35:41Speaker 1: Yeah, all these.
- 35:42Speaker 5: Kids just start saying things that they normally wouldn't have.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Like there, they'll just suddenly be like will to twelve
- 35:49Speaker 5: And then it's like the vest is talking to the
- 35:52Speaker 5: freaking like it's the vest shirt combo talking. It's not them,
- 35:56Speaker 5: Like I just have to look at them and be like,
- 35:58Speaker 5: it's not them.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I have to look past this. You don't have any
- 36:02Speaker 1: control over this. This is what this is the layers talking.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Well, there's some gossip I was hearing. Do you know
- 36:07Speaker 4: Jessica chstain her Oscar that she won. Yeah, her outfit
- 36:12Speaker 4: took the award away. She didn't show up her outfit. Yeah,
- 36:16Speaker 4: the sentient version of her outfit was the one that
- 36:19Speaker 4: accepted the award.
- 36:20Speaker 1: So is she like hiding it from Jessica?
- 36:22Speaker 4: That's if you look closely, you can see it's a
- 36:25Speaker 4: pile of clothes.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Go back, go back and watch the Oscar.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna go I'm gonna go back, and I'm
- 36:30Speaker 1: gonna go scrub. Yeah to that moment.
- 36:33Speaker 6: See, I don't work with anyone who's got stained in
- 36:35Speaker 6: their name.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Oh god, that's a good way to weed them out.
- 36:39Speaker 1: That's good.
- 36:41Speaker 6: The hell are you thinking?
- 36:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we're playing with fire.
- 36:45Speaker 2: I won't go near her unless she comes near me
- 36:47Speaker 2: in Hawaii. I'll tell you that much.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Best best fitting or best look you've ever put on
- 36:53Speaker 3: an ax.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Wait, wait, wait, before we do that, my pip peeve
- 36:57Speaker 6: is buckles.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead, Thanks Pamela, Thanks Pamela.
- 37:02Speaker 7: Of course I think I read that about you. I'm
- 37:06Speaker 7: sorry I skipped over you.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you did that whole BuzzFeed article about buckles.
- 37:10Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's something you did.
- 37:12Speaker 2: You work for BuzzFeed? How lo did you do that?
- 37:14Speaker 2: All right?
- 37:17Speaker 5: I loved I loved your Which horrible buckle are you quiz?
- 37:22Speaker 5: I took that and I got the buckle you hate?
- 37:24Speaker 5: Which I don't know which buckle you hate, but I assua.
- 37:28Speaker 6: I just I walked into that office because I thought
- 37:31Speaker 6: it was a public library, and I sat down at
- 37:35Speaker 6: the first computer I saw, and I started typing, you know,
- 37:39Speaker 6: just like journaling. The first thing I did is I
- 37:41Speaker 6: opened it. I said, I hate buckles so damn much.
- 37:45Speaker 6: I hate buckles. And then I was putting together a
- 37:47Speaker 6: list of all the buckles I hate, ranking them Pilgrim buckles,
- 37:51Speaker 6: buckles on shoes, belt buckles, rodeo buckles. And I guess
- 37:58Speaker 6: it got published.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Yes, some BuzzFeed editor probably walked by and was like,
- 38:03Speaker 5: that's really good.
- 38:05Speaker 3: The article was hilarious.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Oh yeah, they did. They walked by me, they said,
- 38:09Speaker 6: what is this woman doing here? And then they looked
- 38:10Speaker 6: at the computer. They said, my gosh, she's a genius.
- 38:17Speaker 2: It was your good will hunting moment.
- 38:20Speaker 6: It was it.
- 38:20Speaker 2: It was my good will hunting congratulations.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Do you ever want to go back to BuzzFeed or
- 38:28Speaker 3: writing or anything?
- 38:30Speaker 6: I do because they had they had a lot of
- 38:33Speaker 6: free food, and they had little pods you could go in.
- 38:38Speaker 6: So what I do is I grab a pack of
- 38:40Speaker 6: Famous Same As cookies and I go in one of
- 38:43Speaker 6: those little Century deprivation pods and I just listened to
- 38:49Speaker 6: myself chewing on them for a few hours.
- 38:53Speaker 3: You love the finer things in life, family, I truly do.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Listen to me digress.
- 39:00Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I want to know what everyone's favorite look
- 39:03Speaker 7: they've ever put on an actor.
- 39:06Speaker 1: That's Oh, I remember, I remember.
- 39:09Speaker 5: It was such an amazing day. It was the finale
- 39:14Speaker 5: of Sweet Life of Zack and Cody. Oh, and they
- 39:18Speaker 5: let me put a single shirt on Cody, nothing else,
- 39:23Speaker 5: nothing under it. Just a shirt, just a simple T shirt.
- 39:29Speaker 5: No razmataz or under button up or over button up,
- 39:36Speaker 5: just a shirt. And he walked onto set and he
- 39:40Speaker 5: did the scene and nobody said, hey, you made a mistake.
- 39:43Speaker 1: They just let it happen.
- 39:46Speaker 8: Wow.
- 39:47Speaker 6: Now was this a long shirt?
- 39:50Speaker 2: Oh?
- 39:50Speaker 5: It was the most normal shirt you could imagine, so
- 39:55Speaker 5: utterly normal.
- 39:57Speaker 7: Oh, trishalicious, you just seem so locked up in a cage.
- 40:01Speaker 7: I wish you could work on a show where you
- 40:03Speaker 7: wouldn't have to have such strict god block.
- 40:06Speaker 1: It's all I know, It's all I know.
- 40:08Speaker 5: But I would kill to be in some sort of
- 40:11Speaker 5: Netflix Ya show where they just wear one shirt.
- 40:15Speaker 1: It would be the most amazing thing.
- 40:17Speaker 2: In the world. On like Outer Banks.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Outer Banks would be the perfect show for you.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Coco Melin. I know, Coco Melan, You've got to take
- 40:29Speaker 2: those gigs.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I'm not doing this anymore.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I'm telling you, Coco Melon is worth the gig.
- 40:40Speaker 6: I don't even know if you're talking about a TV
- 40:41Speaker 6: shore a delicious flavor, but.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I but I do know you want two of them anyway.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Oh hey, Tricia, have you ever considered naked and afraid
- 40:54Speaker 6: it would kill?
- 40:56Speaker 7: I love show when they design a simple band on
- 41:00Speaker 7: a wrist, My breath taken away.
- 41:04Speaker 6: When they just when they just they smeared a little
- 41:07Speaker 6: bit of mud to protect him from the sun.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 6: I think that's one of my favorites.
- 41:13Speaker 7: Oh yeah, the sun, the lights, the light. I'd have
- 41:17Speaker 7: to say my favorite work I've ever done. Not to
- 41:20Speaker 7: pat myself on the back too hard. In Pride and
- 41:23Speaker 7: Prejudice Kirea Nightly two thousand and five, I we were
- 41:26Speaker 7: doing dark colors for her, and this was the first
- 41:30Speaker 7: time in my career we got to really talk about
- 41:33Speaker 7: a full arc with color. By the end, as she
- 41:38Speaker 7: opens her heart up to love, uh, we put her
- 41:41Speaker 7: in a pearl pink. And when I got the studio's
- 41:45Speaker 7: approval of pearl pink, of this dark character at the
- 41:50Speaker 7: end of the film who finally opens her heart up
- 41:54Speaker 7: to wear a bright color, I came home to my
- 41:58Speaker 7: husband and we had sex for fifty six hours. It
- 42:01Speaker 7: was the greatest, well, greatest wow accomplishment in my life.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Bazinga, buzzinga boo.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, Larry, that's so much time.
- 42:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I love that.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Accomplishment for you is actually having sex with your husband
- 42:19Speaker 4: and not you know, of course, being proud of that.
- 42:22Speaker 4: But I think to me, it sounds to me like
- 42:24Speaker 4: you're more proud of your sex life than you are
- 42:26Speaker 4: of your wardrobe.
- 42:27Speaker 3: No, I'm proud of the way that getting a career
- 42:31Speaker 3: goal or just nailing something turned into such a sexual desire.
- 42:36Speaker 3: And my husband and I we have trouble.
- 42:38Speaker 7: Speaking anyway, because it's been what we've been married fifty
- 42:42Speaker 7: six years?
- 42:43Speaker 5: Yeah, and uh, fifty six years fifty six hours?
- 42:47Speaker 1: You went one every year you've been together.
- 42:51Speaker 6: Ye, it's two of the same, Thomas.
- 42:54Speaker 3: Yeah, we said two of the same. We said a timer,
- 42:56Speaker 3: We said, how long have we been together? Fifty six?
- 42:58Speaker 3: Let's do it.
- 42:59Speaker 4: I gotta say my favorite thing I ever did I
- 43:02Speaker 4: was the head bathing suit scout for Blue Crush, and
- 43:06Speaker 4: I had so much fun with that.
- 43:09Speaker 2: You scouted looking for that? It was the scout.
- 43:13Speaker 4: That one was very funny because the director said, I
- 43:17Speaker 4: I want to cast these bathing suits. The bathing suits
- 43:20Speaker 4: are so important in this The bathing suits are a character.
- 43:23Speaker 4: And and so I said, okay, so I had to
- 43:26Speaker 4: go out. I had to go on the beaches. I say, oh,
- 43:27Speaker 4: excuse me, I love that, you know, I love that
- 43:29Speaker 4: bathing suit? Where's it from? And then they'd have to
- 43:31Speaker 4: tell me, and I'd offer, I'd offer. I bought one
- 43:35Speaker 4: bathing suit off of this girl from Tennessee. She was
- 43:38Speaker 4: in Hawaii. I bought it for forty five thousand dollars
- 43:42Speaker 4: because we had to have it. And that went on
- 43:43Speaker 4: Kate Bosworth. And that was the one that she wore
- 43:46Speaker 4: when she fell off her surfboard in that one seed.
- 43:49Speaker 4: You know, she off in that one seed. That's what
- 43:53Speaker 4: happened in that and that was iconic and everyone's still
- 43:55Speaker 4: talking about it. People stop me on.
- 43:56Speaker 2: The street thing.
- 43:57Speaker 4: They look at me and they excuse me. Are you
- 43:58Speaker 4: the wardrobe person from Blue Crush?
- 44:00Speaker 3: How would you?
- 44:01Speaker 4: How would I know that it happened? It's happened. Actually
- 44:04Speaker 4: it actually has happened, and people know.
- 44:06Speaker 7: I think you're talking to cardboard cutouts, and I think
- 44:08Speaker 7: you're an idiot. I don't think no one's recognized you for.
- 44:11Speaker 2: This okay, harsh sorsh.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Sorry I didn't cash on time having sex for fifty
- 44:17Speaker 4: six hours, old man. I was nice about that, wasn't
- 44:20Speaker 4: I It's true.
- 44:21Speaker 3: I have a healthy body. I eat only bread.
- 44:24Speaker 1: No, you eat raw egg with Molly. That's I don't know.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Guys, this is feeling like this is feeling like the
- 44:33Speaker 4: Facebook group November twenty sixteen.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Okay, I don't. I don't want to go through this again.
- 44:38Speaker 6: I believe you, Lizzie, thank you, Thank you, pam I
- 44:42Speaker 6: believe that they're real. They're thin people. Yeah, I don't
- 44:47Speaker 6: think they're a myth. I think they're real.
- 44:49Speaker 4: The thin people are out there, and they are famous.
- 44:52Speaker 4: A lot of them are, so you have to watch out.
- 44:54Speaker 6: I'm proud of you for standing your ground.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Pamela, thank you. We have to catch up again. We
- 44:58Speaker 4: need to FaceTime. Last much had to face him. You
- 45:01Speaker 4: you didn't know how to pick up the phone.
- 45:02Speaker 6: Would you be interested in joining joining a club of
- 45:06Speaker 6: patriotic like minded individuals?
- 45:11Speaker 1: Oh no, why is it patriotic?
- 45:13Speaker 2: Oh no?
- 45:15Speaker 1: That word everything else sounded so good.
- 45:17Speaker 2: It makes you a little.
- 45:18Speaker 4: It gives me a little ickiness to hear that.
- 45:21Speaker 6: You might be on the fence, but we can talk later.
- 45:24Speaker 6: I'll send you some literature.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Oh, thanks, thank you so much. Definitely send it my way. Yes, absolutely,
- 45:33Speaker 4: what was your Oh, don't wink at me, please, please
- 45:37Speaker 4: don't give me.
- 45:38Speaker 2: It's okay. I just don't have a thing about that.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Please don't we kive me, Pamela.
- 45:42Speaker 6: Okay, I'm not gonna do it.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Okay, please don't.
- 45:45Speaker 1: I have That was like the loudest blink I've ever heard.
- 45:50Speaker 2: I don't do that, Pamela.
- 45:52Speaker 6: My eyelids are heavy.
- 45:56Speaker 2: The sun.
- 45:57Speaker 4: That's the smokiest eye I've ever seen. And I made
- 45:59Speaker 4: the smoke punts. They're on Lost.
- 46:03Speaker 2: But you're most happy about what was finding the pathing
- 46:07Speaker 2: suits for Blue Crush Love the Values. I was going
- 46:13Speaker 2: to ask Pamela what her favorite moment was dressing.
- 46:18Speaker 6: Oh, yes, that's a good one. When I first explained
- 46:23Speaker 6: Yoda to the team, they didn't understand it, and I said,
- 46:28Speaker 6: my goodness, it's not hard, you know, this is this
- 46:30Speaker 6: is my vision, and so I was. So it was
- 46:33Speaker 6: in the heat of the moment, I grabbed the first
- 46:36Speaker 6: toddler I saw. No I grabbed him, and I grabbed
- 46:42Speaker 6: some celery, and I chopped the celery in half, super
- 46:44Speaker 6: glued it to the sides of his head, and I
- 46:47Speaker 6: put him in a potato sack and I brought him
- 46:51Speaker 6: up there and I said, this, this is what I
- 46:54Speaker 6: mean when I say this is Yoda, this is the Jedi.
- 46:58Speaker 6: And the kid was crying. The kid was screaming, on,
- 47:00Speaker 6: get the cellar off my head, get the cell you
- 47:02Speaker 6: off my head. The potato sackaches, And I said, you're
- 47:06Speaker 6: gonna be a You're gonna be a big star.
- 47:10Speaker 5: And what happened to the kid after that, Oh, none
- 47:13Speaker 5: of my business.
- 47:16Speaker 2: But what did you put him down? Did you take
- 47:20Speaker 2: off the celery?
- 47:21Speaker 6: No, I didn't euthanize the kid. Are you kidding?
- 47:23Speaker 2: Out?
- 47:23Speaker 6: A monster? What I what happened was I look, I
- 47:28Speaker 6: didn't know what his parents were. I turned him around,
- 47:29Speaker 6: I said, thank you for your service. Put I pushed
- 47:32Speaker 6: him out of the room and I finished my meeting.
- 47:35Speaker 6: Because I'm a professional, I'm gonna I'm gonna watch him.
- 47:38Speaker 6: And that's how Yoda was. It was he was created
- 47:41Speaker 6: because they didn't understand the concept art. Because sometimes I
- 47:44Speaker 6: have trouble commute when when my drawings they lack color.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's what you need for wardrobe you need.
- 47:52Speaker 6: It's something, And I struggled with because I am color
- 47:55Speaker 6: blind and it's something.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Struggled with, Wow, yes, yes, I explains fast and furious.
- 48:01Speaker 2: They're all wearing blacks and grays.
- 48:04Speaker 6: Yes, because sometimes they're moving too fast. I can't.
- 48:08Speaker 3: I hate when you have to do a fitting and
- 48:10Speaker 3: the actors in the car tear.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Get out, get out, ludicrous.
- 48:15Speaker 4: Let me let me try it on while you're.
- 48:17Speaker 6: Standing try stretching span deex over the rocks, the topography
- 48:22Speaker 6: of his body while he's the topography of the rock,
- 48:27Speaker 6: the topography he got a lot of the rock has
- 48:29Speaker 6: a lot of hills, a lot of hills and valleys,
- 48:31Speaker 6: a lot of peaks and mountains, a lot of ravines.
- 48:36Speaker 6: And so trying to find something, trying to squeeze that
- 48:38Speaker 6: on him while he's going one hundred and five down
- 48:41Speaker 6: the highways unbelievable, so hard.
- 48:45Speaker 4: They really should separate the fittings and the shooting. I
- 48:48Speaker 4: can't believe they had to be in the car for that, and.
- 48:50Speaker 6: You know, neither can I.
- 48:51Speaker 7: And they didn't even give me a seat belt, probably
- 48:54Speaker 7: because you hate buckles so much.
- 48:56Speaker 3: It's I mean. That BuzzFeed article went viral that's.
- 48:59Speaker 6: Exactly what I said. They said, you sure you don't
- 49:02Speaker 6: want this, I said, I said take it out of
- 49:04Speaker 6: the car. I said, remove this from the car immediately,
- 49:10Speaker 6: or you will never see me again.
- 49:13Speaker 2: I've never seen someone to hate power, especially for somebody's
- 49:18Speaker 2: first movie. Back, Pamela, do.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You hate buckles?
- 49:22Speaker 5: Is there something that happened to you with a buckle
- 49:26Speaker 5: or is it just like an irrational fear, Like is
- 49:29Speaker 5: there something we can work through?
- 49:34Speaker 6: Well, let's get into it. Oh I'm sorry, No, it's okay.
- 49:41Speaker 6: My father was a rodeo clown. He loved his work
- 49:45Speaker 6: him and my mama, my mama was My mama was
- 49:48Speaker 6: a rodeo clown too. And they get in there and
- 49:51Speaker 6: they run away from the bulls, you know, trying to
- 49:53Speaker 6: protect the cowboys at their job. And they were really
- 49:57Speaker 6: good at it. Oh my god, they're so good. Crowds
- 50:00Speaker 6: would cheer up, yeah, well, yeah, right on, you know
- 50:06Speaker 6: that's and so they run around it. At the end
- 50:08Speaker 6: of every show they get a new belt buckle. One
- 50:11Speaker 6: of the cowboys would give it to them, say thank
- 50:13Speaker 6: you for saving my life because that bull was chasing
- 50:15Speaker 6: me and the way you distracted the bull. So I
- 50:17Speaker 6: could get out and the cowboys give them the buckle,
- 50:20Speaker 6: and they'd come home and they'd show me. And I
- 50:23Speaker 6: had five I had five brothers and sisters. And they
- 50:26Speaker 6: come home and they show us the buckle. Yeah, it's
- 50:28Speaker 6: just ten total. They come home and they'd show us
- 50:31Speaker 6: the buckle and they'd say, look at us, we saved
- 50:34Speaker 6: a life. What did you do today? You know what
- 50:37Speaker 6: did you do? You probably sat at home.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Oh they were abusive, emotionally abusive.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess A long story short, they were emotionally.
- 50:45Speaker 6: I could have gotten there a lot quicker, but I
- 50:49Speaker 6: was putting it together.
- 50:51Speaker 2: You know that. I'm so sorry that that happened to
- 50:53Speaker 2: you growing up.
- 50:54Speaker 4: That's so sad.
- 50:54Speaker 6: You don't care. I don't care.
- 50:56Speaker 2: No, I do care.
- 50:57Speaker 6: Here, it's stop. I'm not And.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Pamela Babes, you're so brave. You're so brave, And thank
- 51:06Speaker 1: you for sharing that with us.
- 51:08Speaker 6: I'm gonna write that down.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Would you like to come work with me?
- 51:13Speaker 6: No? Absolutely, Thomas.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Who's the favorite? Who's your favorite costume?
- 51:17Speaker 2: You ever did? My most proud was actually not a
- 51:21Speaker 2: costume at all. It was the lack of one. I
- 51:25Speaker 2: was the one who came up with the characters disappearing
- 51:30Speaker 2: for Marvel's Infinity War. I had costumed them twice and
- 51:35Speaker 2: I wouldn't do it again, so we'll done disappear.
- 51:40Speaker 4: You came up with them disappearing, and it was a
- 51:42Speaker 4: costume choice.
- 51:43Speaker 2: It was a costume choice.
- 51:45Speaker 4: So when they disappear in the show, do you was
- 51:47Speaker 4: it some sort of veil that you threw over them
- 51:49Speaker 4: that became reflective and made them look like disappearing.
- 51:53Speaker 2: That would be a third costume. I said, get these
- 51:56Speaker 2: people offset or disappear, make them disappear visually effectualized, because
- 52:04Speaker 2: I will not be costuming these people again.
- 52:07Speaker 1: You sound and no disrespect. You sound a little hard
- 52:10Speaker 1: to work with.
- 52:12Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about. I'm a joy
- 52:14Speaker 2: on set, I show up on time, I pay my dues.
- 52:21Speaker 6: Yeah, it sounds like a joy.
- 52:22Speaker 4: Sounds all the things I describe a fun person to
- 52:27Speaker 4: be paid dues and showing up on showing up.
- 52:31Speaker 7: I'm a good party when everyone's showing up on time
- 52:34Speaker 7: and paying their dues.
- 52:36Speaker 6: Hey, everyone, what's your favorite place to get materials?
- 52:42Speaker 2: Oh? I love this question.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Great question.
- 52:45Speaker 3: I got this question a lot.
- 52:47Speaker 5: This is a little industry secret people might not know
- 52:51Speaker 5: about this place.
- 52:51Speaker 1: But if you know, you know, joe Anne's Fabrics.
- 52:56Speaker 5: It's this exclusively Hollywood sort of store that like a
- 53:00Speaker 5: lot of professional like wardrobe people and like fashion designers
- 53:04Speaker 5: and people all go to and you sort of like,
- 53:08Speaker 5: you know, they give you the rundown because they know
- 53:10Speaker 5: that you're like a professional, you're on the go.
- 53:12Speaker 6: I'm sorry, you said joanne Fabrics.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Joanne's Fabrics.
- 53:16Speaker 5: And they don't just have like fabrics, they also have
- 53:20Speaker 5: like themed sort of like holiday themed things.
- 53:23Speaker 1: So if you need to pick up like.
- 53:24Speaker 5: A sort of like like a turkey cup or a
- 53:27Speaker 5: Saint Patrick's Day mug or something like, they have a
- 53:30Speaker 5: lot of that for industry folks too.
- 53:32Speaker 4: I do need to pick up a turkey cup. There's
- 53:33Speaker 4: a Hawaii episode of grownsh that's taking place around Thanksgiving,
- 53:37Speaker 4: and I need to find a turkey cup.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll help you make.
- 53:40Speaker 2: And they're using it.
- 53:41Speaker 4: It's a it's a hat for your Ashihidi, so it
- 53:43Speaker 4: is a costume.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I can hook you up.
- 53:46Speaker 3: My favorite place I love to go to the San
- 53:50Speaker 3: Diego Aquarium and I'll get some fish bones to make
- 53:57Speaker 3: my uh my bodies.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Instead of when your guy in Los Felis is busy.
- 54:02Speaker 7: Yeah, when he's busy, he also sells drugs. So when
- 54:07Speaker 7: he's busy, all all.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Run all the time.
- 54:12Speaker 1: He's busy.
- 54:13Speaker 6: Now, how do you get the bones? Do you dig
- 54:16Speaker 6: through the dumpster or do you do you steal them
- 54:18Speaker 6: from the livery?
- 54:19Speaker 7: I have an intern at the San Diego Aquarium that
- 54:23Speaker 7: is getting the remains once they're directly removed from the premises.
- 54:28Speaker 4: That sounds like a very temporary contact. How long are they.
- 54:35Speaker 3: No, these aquarium interns. It's kind of like med school.
- 54:38Speaker 3: They were, it's like a residency.
- 54:43Speaker 5: Actually, my sister just finished her residency at Sea World.
- 54:46Speaker 5: They go there for five years.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, that's to them. What did they get? Where
- 54:53Speaker 2: did she get placed?
- 54:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 54:56Speaker 5: Now, she's one of those people who shows like the
- 55:01Speaker 5: dolphin like, not one of the dolphin trainers, but the
- 55:03Speaker 5: one who's like and now here's the Sea World dolphin like,
- 55:06Speaker 5: you know, one of those people that's her special world.
- 55:09Speaker 4: That's specially Yeah.
- 55:12Speaker 5: They put her on the dolphin explaining track and she succeeded.
- 55:16Speaker 5: She was just like such a natural fit. They had
- 55:18Speaker 5: her on shamou like blackfish pr cover up type stuff.
- 55:22Speaker 5: But she wasn't a good fit for that, so they did.
- 55:25Speaker 3: A hard job.
- 55:27Speaker 4: I mostly shop, you know, because I'm in Hawaii. I'm actually,
- 55:31Speaker 4: shockingly enough, a lot of people that shoot in Hawaii
- 55:34Speaker 4: want to the characters are usually visiting in Hawaii or
- 55:38Speaker 4: their tourists. So I actually buy a lot of stuff
- 55:40Speaker 4: from tourist shops, souvenir shops, a lot of stuff that is,
- 55:45Speaker 4: you know, basically more expensive. So I'm spending you know,
- 55:49Speaker 4: one hundred and fifty three hundred dollars on a Tommy
- 55:52Speaker 4: Bahama shirt that you know, I wish that I could
- 55:56Speaker 4: sell it back, you know, I wish that I could
- 55:58Speaker 4: make the money back. And I take the tags on everything.
- 56:00Speaker 4: You guys leave tags on everything.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Do you have a tag?
- 56:05Speaker 2: Yeah, because you got it.
- 56:06Speaker 7: The tags on these fishbones are so big.
- 56:12Speaker 3: No, it's just the tags.
- 56:14Speaker 6: I always remove the tags because if you don't, the
- 56:16Speaker 6: ink explodes before you get out of the store.
- 56:20Speaker 4: Oh, I'm not referring to those tags. I'm just referring.
- 56:23Speaker 4: I'm not referring to the theft tags, paper price hags.
- 56:28Speaker 7: Oh, there's no price tags on fishbones, just the theft tags.
- 56:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm yeah, that would be awful if they got
- 56:38Speaker 4: if I got ink on a shirt that I wanted
- 56:39Speaker 4: to use in the show.
- 56:40Speaker 6: Yeah, Larry, you do have to remove the chip that's
- 56:43Speaker 6: in every fish that has the fish's name, and yeah,
- 56:46Speaker 6: it's personal. Okay, No, I got it.
- 56:48Speaker 3: It's a whole thing and this in turn works good.
- 56:52Speaker 6: Oh, I love it. Okay, my favorite place, well, I
- 56:57Speaker 6: love leather. I love it. So what I'll do is
- 57:02Speaker 6: I'll go to a feed lot and I'll select a
- 57:05Speaker 6: cow like a lobster, and I'll say, Mama, I want
- 57:10Speaker 6: that one, and they'll pull it out for me and
- 57:12Speaker 6: they'll skin it right there where. Sometimes I'll go to Fulsome,
- 57:16Speaker 6: the sexual festival in San Francisco, Wow, and I'll just
- 57:22Speaker 6: pick up whatever's left behind.
- 57:25Speaker 5: So as people march and party, you just like are
- 57:28Speaker 5: picking up the scraps.
- 57:29Speaker 6: Yeah, lot is it just.
- 57:31Speaker 2: To kind of have in your warehouse.
- 57:33Speaker 6: This is to have because you chaps are very versatile
- 57:37Speaker 6: once they're torn apart and converted into something else, and
- 57:43Speaker 6: I think they're beautiful. Darth Vader's entire costume was made
- 57:46Speaker 6: from scraps from Fulsome.
- 57:51Speaker 2: I did not know that.
- 57:52Speaker 1: That's so interesting.
- 57:54Speaker 3: I believe that now that is the funnest fact here.
- 57:58Speaker 2: So I guess you could say Darth Vader an aw I.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Well, yes, I suppose you could say that.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Would you say that, Pamela?
- 58:09Speaker 6: No?
- 58:10Speaker 5: But everyone, No, This is just like the debate we
- 58:13Speaker 5: had in that Facebook group in twenty eighteen.
- 58:16Speaker 6: It's exactly. But you know what, everyone's got a different opinion.
- 58:19Speaker 6: And that's the beauty of this country.
- 58:22Speaker 4: I can't believe you go to Folsom every year knowing
- 58:26Speaker 4: the opinions you have.
- 58:27Speaker 6: Oh, I wear horse blinders.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Right, We're going to keep yourself safe.
- 58:38Speaker 6: I wear horse blinders, and I'll try to look at
- 58:42Speaker 6: the ground as much as possible. I don't want to
- 58:44Speaker 6: see any Willie's or Johnson's or Peters and so, and
- 58:50Speaker 6: then you know, I'll just kind of pick up whatever's
- 58:52Speaker 6: left behind, like the what was her name, Ruth from
- 58:55Speaker 6: the Bible ticks up. She picked up wheat that was
- 58:59Speaker 6: left behind the feet.
- 59:00Speaker 2: I'm not familiar with Ruth.
- 59:02Speaker 6: Oh, well, that's what I think his name is, Ruth. Basically,
- 59:05Speaker 6: what happened was Ruth they let her pick up the
- 59:08Speaker 6: leftover wheat in the field because she didn't have any food. Exactly.
- 59:15Speaker 5: Such a beautiful story, you know, what if you do
- 59:17Speaker 5: have any of that literature?
- 59:19Speaker 1: Looked?
- 59:21Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, I love this.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Will you post the link to this Bible book on
- 59:27Speaker 3: the Yeah?
- 59:28Speaker 6: Oh, unfortunately the government took the website down, but I'll
- 59:34Speaker 6: let you know the next time we meet up. We
- 59:35Speaker 6: usually have we get together and we will march in
- 59:39Speaker 6: front of the capitol sometimes wo.
- 59:42Speaker 1: On what day? What? Generally what day would you march? Yeah, usually.
- 59:54Speaker 6: January sixth and oh and also sometimes Martin Luther King.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: But that's.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Babe, Okay, I take it back.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I don't know if I want.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: To come, you know.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: No, Pamela, you are a legend. But Tricia, I'm so
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: glad you changed your mind.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry. The Bible stuff sounded really nice.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Said what.
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: Everyone should check out the Bible. I do believe that.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: I mean, there's so much stuff in there. Yeah, just
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: pick it up. I think there's an audiobook. I think
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: Gary Sonise does an audiobook.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Check it out.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Okay, I'll try and find one, all right, everybody, Before
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: we end here, I'm dying to know what's everyone working
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: on next? What's next to the docket?
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Well, the Voice is coming to Hawaii and I can't
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: wait to hang out with all of those people, I
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: have met Blake Shelton. And let's just say, if you
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: thought Katie Perry was flat, Blake Shelton is even more so.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: So is he a piece of computer paper?
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Do you think shown up in my office? He was
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: hanging out?
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Why did he show up in the fax machine? He
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: showed up.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: He showed up. There was a big noise in poof
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: there he is in.
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: My own Oh my god, was the noise the doorbell
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: where they delivered the mail.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: It was like a boom. There he is. And I
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: was like, hello.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: My favorite song in the world is Some Beach by
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Blake Shelton because I listened to it all the time
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: when I'm in Hanola Bay in Hawaii and it's just
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: so nice.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: I don't think you have to explain why your favorite
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: song is some Beach by Blake Shelton.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: Thank you, Tommy Spain it twice for you.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Jesus. Actually, that would be great. I would really appreciate that.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Why are you working on, mister sirius.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Well, they wanted me for singing three, but I said no,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: but you I did sing one. I did sing two. Oh.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: So it's not all thing about the job. It's just
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: because it's the third.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Well, never know what you mean by the two.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: I've been obvious. I've been explaining it this entire time.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: I don't know how it was missed. It sounds so.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Simple, but it makes my head hurt.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I do it twice, I costume two times. It's in
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: my last name. So basically going into a little bit
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: of a lull until the next shang Chi movie.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Oh, very fun.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Yes, they brought me Tommy two times to do shang Chi.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: You did pretty good. Thank you, Larry. Who are you
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: tying in? Coming up?
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: I don't know if I'm supposed to say this, but
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: I'll do it. Olivia Rodrigo's in a new sixteenth century show.
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: She's a star about horseback writing, and I'm doing all
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: of the gowns.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: That's that show called Breaking Up in the sixteen hundreds.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Right, Yes, it's a musical.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: I'm a huge fan of her, huge fan. Been following
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Olivia for a long time, excited to see what happens.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: I find that so quirky of your Thomas.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Trician did you ever work with Olivia over Disney?
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: Well I worked with her until the clothes sort of
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: took over her body and then it sort of became
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: a different thing.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: But that does lead me to what I'm doing next.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Was just actually super exciting because one of the pile
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: of layered clothes that gain sentience is actually super interested
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: in film noir. So that pile of clothes is directing
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: a new film noir movie and I'm gonna costume it
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: and it's not gonna be Disney Channel. It's going to
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: be super different for me. And let's just say that
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: this pile of clothes thinks about things a little differently.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: That's girl.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I can imagine that pilot clothes is a huge
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: opinion on the costumes.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: Yeah, and he's so smart, he's like read everything.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Oh wow, we'll be careful because that is a pile
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: of clothes.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: But I'm in love, Trisha, I'm in love. I can't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: help it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Are you fucking the pilot clothes?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: No, I'm just in love.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Okaymela, what do you got there?
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: Well, I'm in a little bit of a rat until
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: the next Fast and Furious. So right now I'm making
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: prom dresses for fun Nope, for the young ladies of Omaha.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: Is that an organization? Is that an organization or just
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: the young ladies.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: It's it's not an organization, it's a description.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: It's just a bunch of young girls in Omaha, group
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: a category.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: It's just some young ladies in Omaha. I'm making them
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: prom dresses and and I'm dressing. I'm dressing the corn
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: Queen's girl.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: That's dude.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Are you gonna use scraps from festivals or.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah, it's well, I still have got a lot.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: They got a lot of chaps in storage.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: So these are leather prom dresses.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I got a lot of I got a lot
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: of chaps and jack straps in the freezer, so I'll
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: thow those out.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: Those girls are gonna love that.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: Yeah, when they walk into their prom in Omaha in
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: a leather dress made out.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: Yeah, and the internet they love spaghetti straps and luckily
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: they have all the chains.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: This has been a wild ride.
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: I have to say, I never talked to other wardrobe people,
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: and I'm just so grateful to be here.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Absolutely, thank you so much. Guys. Then you have to
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: come to Hawaii.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: Seriously. You guys can stay with me. I have a
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: nice little house. It has its own bedroom, and you
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: guys can say in it anytime.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: That's great. Could we stop this and do it one
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: more time for me? Oh my god.
