- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:41Hi. It's Adam here, and in this
- 0:43episode of The Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a
- 0:45weight loss hypnosis session that was created for a client
- 0:49that was doing the right things. They were.
- 0:52Making the right choices, eating really, really well.
- 0:55They were losing weight. And that can feel scary for
- 1:00certain people because there's this feeling of is it going to
- 1:03last? Am I going to sabotage it?
- 1:05You know, how long can this go on?
- 1:07And also this doubt of even if they get to their weight loss
- 1:11goal, their destination, are they going to yo-yo back to
- 1:15their old behavior? So this is really about momentum
- 1:18and maintenance and avoiding this idea of going off track.
- 1:24And a lot of people when they're on some kind of diet or regime
- 1:29or weight loss journey, unconsciously, they don't intend
- 1:32to. They just use the metaphor of
- 1:35being on a track. And that might be an unconscious
- 1:38railway track or some kind of Rd. track, but they say no, I'm
- 1:42on the right track or I've gone off track.
- 1:44Sometimes they even use a wagon, but I've gone off the wagon, I'm
- 1:47on the wagon. But effectively it's a metaphor
- 1:50for a journey. And are they moving in the right
- 1:53direction based on what they're doing?
- 1:55Are they going to get to where they want to get to?
- 1:57And for a lot of people, they're not even aware that this
- 2:00unconscious metaphor exists. But when it does exist, you can
- 2:03harness it and have it work for you rather than against you.
- 2:08So this whole session is about staying on track, how to reduce
- 2:13the probability of going off track and what to do if you do
- 2:15go off track. So it becomes a blip rather than
- 2:18a trend. But also, and there's this
- 2:21wonderful phrase, and I don't know where I heard it from or if
- 2:24I created it myself, but it's this phrase that the journey
- 2:29prepares you for the destination.
- 2:32And that is, it's true when it comes to money and it's true
- 2:36when it comes to body shape. So let's say, for example, we
- 2:41all hear stories about people winning the lottery, becoming
- 2:44multimillionaires, but they didn't have to go on the journey
- 2:47to get to that destination. They were just teleported to the
- 2:49destination. And more often than not, these
- 2:52people lose all their money pretty quick.
- 2:54And I would say the equivalent of that when it comes to weight
- 2:57loss is probably weight loss surgery.
- 3:00That whether it's liposuction or body sculpture, you just
- 3:03teleported into that body shape that may be desirable, but
- 3:07because you didn't have to do anything to get to that
- 3:09destination, there's this woeful lack of preparedness to stay at
- 3:15that destination. So again, you get this yo-yo
- 3:18kind of thing. I would even say a fad diet is
- 3:21like that. One of these extreme diets that
- 3:24you know does get you to the destination, but not through
- 3:27sustainable lifestyle habits like eating well and and regular
- 3:31exercise, but just this crazy thing like cabbage soup or
- 3:36milkshakes for two or three months and then you get to the
- 3:38destination. But the journey did not prepare
- 3:41you to remain at that destination.
- 3:44So guess what? You put it all back on again.
- 3:46So this is about how to do the things that not only get you to
- 3:50where you want to get to in terms of body shape, and that
- 3:53might be slim. For other people, it's athletic.
- 3:56For some people, it's lean and toned.
- 3:58Whatever it is, you know, it's your destination.
- 4:00You get to choose that. But the goal of this is staying
- 4:03on track to get to where you want to go and then being able
- 4:06to stay and maintain at that shape when you get there.
- 4:10And I think this will be useful for a lot of people because it
- 4:13is very metaphorical and therefore, you know, more
- 4:16suitable for more people. But if you do want something
- 4:19more bespoke, there'll be a link in the show notes where you can
- 4:21schedule a consultation. Call to work with me directly.
- 4:25You know, a lot of people don't realize that almost all of these
- 4:28sessions are the result of me working with real clients with
- 4:32real issues, real situations. None of it's scripted.
- 4:35I come up with these sessions while working with the client in
- 4:38that 60 minute window and what you're hearing is what someone
- 4:41else has paid for. And of course I protect the
- 4:45confidentiality of the clients. Nobody knows who I've actually
- 4:47worked with, but it's real rather than generic recordings
- 4:52that people put together. So because this client was
- 4:55losing weight and wanted to continue to lose weight, if
- 4:58you're in a similar situation then you'll benefit from this.
- 5:01But equally if you want something a bit more bespoke,
- 5:03there will be a link in the show notes where you can schedule
- 5:05that free consultation call to explore working with me
- 5:08directly. And then I do the session live
- 5:10with you and you know you also get a recording of that, but it
- 5:14was created for you and your circumstances.
- 5:16For now though, you might find this session is really helpful
- 5:19anyway, so find a quiet, comfortable place, ideally in a
- 5:22place where you're not going to be disturbed or distracted or
- 5:24interrupted. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 5:54Take a deep breath in and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 6:03slow, long relaxing breath and as you exhale allow your eyelids
- 6:12to close and as they close feel a wonderful feeling of
- 6:20relaxation. Breathing in then wonderful
- 6:28feeling of calm and exhaling any feelings of tension, enabling
- 6:38you to feel deeper and deeper, relaxed with each and every
- 6:48breath. Feel yourself settling in to a
- 6:55state of calm relaxation and with each breath allow yourself
- 7:06to let go of tension while releasing any thoughts that no
- 7:11longer serve you. Feel how heavy and relaxed your
- 7:20eyelids feel, and I wonder, as you relax even deeper, if you
- 7:33can unleash the power of your imagination, Breathing in
- 7:40relaxation, exhaling tension, and use the power of your
- 7:46imagination to imagine standing on the platform of an impressive
- 7:54grand train station. Feel that relaxation, feel a
- 8:21sense of peace, and imagine looking around that train
- 8:27station, a place of movement, a place of directions.
- 8:40See the trains and see the tracks and I think you already
- 8:48know the destination that you want to go to.
- 9:05A destination of a future body shape.
- 9:13A body shape. Of not just losing weight, but
- 9:19being lean and toned. And I wonder if you could
- 9:26imagine looking down at your train ticket and seeing an
- 9:34image, a number, or even a silhouette of a shape of that
- 9:41destination. Because the journey you are
- 9:48embarking on is a journey to your ideal body, your healthiest
- 9:57and most confident self. I want you to imagine your
- 10:05specific train is arriving and maybe you can imagine it as an
- 10:12old fashioned steam train or maybe an ultra modern super fast
- 10:21train. Whatever your imagination
- 10:25creates is exactly the right train for you.
- 10:36You have confidence that this train on these tracks take you
- 10:44to your destination. So imagine boarding the train,
- 10:48finding a comfortable seat, a first class seat.
- 10:55Where you've got. All the time and the space to
- 10:57truly relax. Imagine reclining the chair and
- 11:02just sinking deeper into a wonderful state of relaxation.
- 11:11And as you think about these healthy food choices you've been
- 11:15making, the train starts moving. It starts moving on exactly the
- 11:24right track to exactly your desired destination.
- 11:32Feel the speed of that train, and feel that if you were to
- 11:44make worse choices, the train would slow down, and even better
- 11:50choices the train would speed up.
- 11:57Feel the movement of the train, the sound of the engine, the
- 12:05rhythmic motion of the train all reminds you that you are on the
- 12:11right track, you are moving forward, making progress, and
- 12:18you are heading toward the version of self that you are
- 12:23creating. Imagine looking outside the
- 12:30window, see the world passing by, scenery, maybe trees in
- 12:38nature or a cityscape. Feel that the train is creating
- 12:47momentum, the journey is steady, reliable.
- 12:53It almost feels unstoppable and just as this train stays on its
- 13:00tracks, so too do you remain on track with the journey towards
- 13:08your ideal body shape. You feel a deep confidence
- 13:16rising within you, and knowing that the things that once
- 13:21derailed you in the past no longer hold the same power.
- 13:28Forewarned is forearmed. You are wiser now than you've
- 13:33ever been, and therefore you know what to do differently to
- 13:41reduce the probability of going off track.
- 13:47Those lessons you've learned, the wisdom you've gained, make
- 13:51you feel stronger, more confident, more in control and
- 13:56fully capable of staying the course.
- 14:04And as the train moves forward, look backwards at the tracks
- 14:10behind you, knowing that the past is there, but also knowing
- 14:19that you're no longer travelling in that direction.
- 14:24Just because you've done something in the past doesn't
- 14:26mean you have to do it again in the future.
- 14:28And there were moments in the past when setbacks may have
- 14:34slowed you down. But those moments were part of
- 14:39the journey, part of the learning and the wisdom you now
- 14:43have. You now realise that occasional
- 14:48setbacks do not stop the train. There's simply moments where you
- 14:54adjust, like pulling up to a station, having a break for a
- 14:59minute or two and then continuing on the right track to
- 15:05your destination. And of course, you could leave
- 15:10the train whenever you choose. Decide to leave the train and
- 15:16take a train in the opposite direction.
- 15:20But why would you want to go in the opposite direction when
- 15:24you're making so much progress going in the direction that
- 15:30you're already going? And perhaps in the past, alcohol
- 15:39played a role in making decisions that impeded your
- 15:44progress. And maybe it was a glass of wine
- 15:50too many. In the moment it appealed to
- 15:55you, but it didn't align to your longer term goals.
- 16:00But what if now, knowing what you now know, you decide to
- 16:04refine your approach? A way to stay in control while
- 16:09still enjoying yourself, refusing to miss out on social
- 16:15occasions. But deciding to be more mindful
- 16:25most people when they drink. Pay very little.
- 16:28Attention to the temperature of the drink, the taste or the
- 16:34smell. And just by doing that means
- 16:38that you could get more pleasure from 2 glasses of wine than
- 16:43someone else gets from 5:00. Simply by giving it more
- 16:49attention and drinking mindfully gives you more pleasure and no
- 16:55side effects, no hangover the next day and reducing the
- 17:01probability of making those impulsive decisions that you may
- 17:06regret later. The slower you drink, the more
- 17:14you savour the experience and imagine that social evening
- 17:21coming to an end and you feeling a deep sense of pride and
- 17:25accomplishment, especially when you've enjoyed yourself with
- 17:30just two drinks or less. Knowing that moderation allows
- 17:36you to wake up feeling good, refreshed, and still completely
- 17:44on track. But no need to be harsh with
- 17:52yourself if occasionally you wake up with a hangover.
- 17:59It's not failure, just feedback. If you don't like how you feel,
- 18:06allow that to influence the next social evening.
- 18:12But I wonder if you could imagine waking up with a
- 18:15hangover that instinctively craving a cold, refreshing,
- 18:22still glass of water, evaluating that the hangover is simply
- 18:33dehydration. Your body is craving the water
- 18:39that's been used to process the alcohol in your liver.
- 18:43And now, once that water and hydration back, imagine reaching
- 18:52for it naturally. Imagine that cold water.
- 19:02Imagine the sensation on your lips, your tongue, even in your
- 19:05throat as you swallow. And it feels so good.
- 19:10The coolness, the replenishment, the rehydration, your body is
- 19:17guiding you towards what helps you feel your very best.
- 19:25Water is an essential part of being on track.
- 19:31Many times when people are hungry, they're not, they're
- 19:36just thirsty. Water is calorie free, can make
- 19:44hunger go away, make you feel great with no calories
- 19:51whatsoever. As the train continues its
- 19:56journey, you notice that the more active you are, the faster
- 20:03you move toward your destination.
- 20:07Physical activity is like adding power to the engine.
- 20:13Propelling you forward with even greater speed.
- 20:18It's not necessary to get to the destination, but it helps you
- 20:23get to that destination quicker. And every time you engage in
- 20:29activity or movement, whether it's walking, stretching a cycle
- 20:35ride, lifting weights, you feel yourself progressing, feeling
- 20:42stronger, leaner, and more confident.
- 20:46And in particular, whenever you participate in strength
- 20:50training, you feel an incredible sense of pride and
- 20:57accomplishment. And whenever you notice your
- 21:02body changing, perhaps in a mirror or a reflection, muscles
- 21:09changing, becoming more defined, your shape becoming more toned.
- 21:16And every time you notice these changes, your motivation grows,
- 21:21your excitement builds and you want to do even more.
- 21:28And you realise that the more you move, the better you feel,
- 21:34and the stronger you become, the more confident you feel in your
- 21:38body. This journey is no longer just
- 21:43about losing weight, it's about becoming a leaner, more toned,
- 21:50more confident version of yourself.
- 21:58As the train continues its journey, you begin to
- 22:02understanding something even more powerful.
- 22:07What if the journey? Is what prepares.
- 22:09You for the destination, the habits you build now, the
- 22:15decisions you make, even the way you handle setbacks.
- 22:20All prepare you. To maintain your ideal body when
- 22:24you reach it, you begin to realize that your body shape is
- 22:30simply a reflection of your consistent choices and the
- 22:36person you're becoming right now.
- 22:39The one that eats well, moves with confidence, drinks in
- 22:44moderation, and bounces back easily from setbacks is the very
- 22:49person that will get that ideal body but also to maintain it.
- 22:58What if weight loss is no longer a struggle or a race, but a
- 23:03journey of building a new lifestyle?
- 23:09Every good decision, no matter how small, reinforces the truth.
- 23:17You are on the right track and even if there are small detours,
- 23:25you always find your way back to the track.
- 23:29You always keep moving forward and sooner or later you will not
- 23:36only reach your destination, but you will become the destination.
- 23:48I want you to imagine the train begins to slow approaching your
- 23:51destination and as you get off the train onto the platform, see
- 23:58a full length mirror there on the station platform.
- 24:08I want you to imagine you're wearing whatever clothes you
- 24:10would wear that would complement this new shape, this lean,
- 24:17toned, slim shape, and look at yourself in the mirror.
- 24:24Feel a sense of pride, accomplishment, brimming with
- 24:29self-confidence. But feel something even more
- 24:34important. The person you became to create
- 24:39this body shape is the very same person that can maintain it.
- 24:45And if this feels like you're on the right track, you will get to
- 24:50this destination and you can maintain it.
- 24:52When you arrive, let me know by nodding your head.
- 24:59Feel how good it feels to know this is where you're heading.
- 25:07Feel that you are on the right track and this is a destiny that
- 25:16you are travelling towards. Making the right food choices
- 25:23will get you there. Activity will get you there
- 25:27quicker with a body shape. It helps you brim with even more
- 25:34confidence. And as you hold that thought,
- 25:38it's time to return to the present, taking all of these
- 25:41changes with you. So take a deep breath in through
- 25:45your nose and out through your nose.
- 25:50Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 25:52Start to connect and calibrate with the here and now as I now
- 25:57count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 26:00You will awaken with a new sense of motivation, determination and
- 26:05self belief that you are absolutely on the right track.
- 26:11Starting to count 123, waking up 4/5.
