Day 53. Numbers 26-27
A new census is taken of the next generation of Israelites in the wilderness. The land is to be divided among the tribes according to their numbers. The daughters of Zelophehad bring a case regarding inheritance, and new instructions are given. Joshua is appointed as Moses’ successor before the people.
