- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: Josh All alone, your host today, just bringing you some quick news and updates and things like that that have transpired between, let's see, Sunday we did our reaction show to the Philadelphia Eagles preseason game.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: And then tomorrow, because we've got some high school football things going on.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: Finally, it's high school football season.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: I tell you what, I don't know where you guys are.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: If you're watching listening to this, but if definitely in Ohio, high school football reigns king and this week, things kick off.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: So Thursday Friday night, we are all three hosts busy with some high school football stuff going on here in Ohio.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so we're gonna do our Rams.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: Preseason finale preview show tomorrow night or be myself, Justin and Mr. Kenny Max just like last week, but this time I can promise you people out there, I will hit the record button.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: If you're only listening on audio, you probably heard the joke the other day, but you didn't see the video last week when we did our preview show.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: I did forget to hit the record button on the video side of things.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: So there was no active video of the three of us talking about.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're just listening audio,
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: You're good to go.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: You would not know that.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to talk about quarterbacks.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: We got a week one starter.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: We've got new players under contract.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: Another one who's not still under contract.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about some of these quick updates.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be more of a microcast not very long today.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: Just want to hit these updates before we dive into things deeper.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: Tomorrow we'll have two practices for this week to talk about heading into the week already.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: So tomorrow night's preview show for the Rams game will be great.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: The supposed to be the dress rehearsal according to Kevin's defense is what he has said.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: So we anticipate seeing the starters out there.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Flacco obviously will get into that here in a minute before I dive in to everything that I want to remind you guys this is pretty much it.

- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so the big news will just lead with it yesterday was announced.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Flacco will be the Brown starting quarterback in week one.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, it's a nice big announcement as far as breaking news, not so much.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: We all anticipated Joe Flacco would be the week one starter.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's the only one who makes any sense.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: What are you?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to start.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Can he pick it?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: The dude hasn't practiced in over a month.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's missed almost all of training camp in the entire preseason with no return timeline.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: You are not even
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: entertaining the idea of starting.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: Can you pick it?
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: We won.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: And what are you going to do?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: Start one of the rookies?
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Flacco makes the most sense.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Flacco is going to give this Brown's team a very good opportunity to compete because we have such a strong deep our defensive showing in the preseason so far.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: And we're talking second, third and beyond string players for the Brown's.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: This defense is tenacious.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: If you're getting this
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: kind of effort and tenaciousness from backups just imagine what we're going to get from the starting unit when they're on the field.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: And just a little preview for the week one match up against the bangles.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys watched any of that preseason game last night when the bangles had their first team offense and defense in the game, I'm telling you guys, I think the Browns have a legitimate shot to win that game at home.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: That offensive line for Cincinnati does not look good Joe Burrell's running for his life.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care how explosive that offense and their skill makers are supposed to be.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: If he doesn't have time to make the play, to read the defense, to go through his progressions, to make a play, they're not going to be able to do anything.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we saw what this defense did to Joe Burrell two years ago in twenty twenty three whenever we got after him in week one at home.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it's going to be a lot of the same plus.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: The Pinkle's defense looks horrendous.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, the Washington first string just diced them up right down the field.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then the second string came in and did the same thing to the Bengals first string unit.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: It was embarrassing.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I cannot wait to see Miles Garrett and this defensive line get after Joe Burrow.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Joe Flacco in this Brown's offense could make some noise against this Bengals defense in week one.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: So Joe Flacco obviously gonna, I mean,
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: You guys remember what it was like in twenty twenty three.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: If you were here in twenty twenty three.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: If you're one of the new fans or you know a Colorado fan joining us here.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: This is the right move.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Fletgobe at twenty twenty three was beautiful for the Browns now did it come with a lot of.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know edged your seat moments.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: In those games with Joe Fletgobe a lot of turnovers from Joe Fletgobe.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it will again, but he's also going to push the ball.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: He knows how to play the quarterback position in Kevin's defense.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's offense at a high level.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to score touchdowns.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: We are going to be competitive.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the interesting thing, so Tony Grosi yesterday afternoon after this was announced was on the radio talking about how
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: He thought it was strange that the Browns, when they made their announcement for Joe Flacco, that they only announced him as the week one starter.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't announce him as the starter for the season.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: He took that to mean the Browns are leaving the door open for Kenny Pickett to make a belated run at Joe Flacco, starting job after week one now.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: It to me makes sense that the Browns did not name Joe Flacco the starter for the season because he's not going to be the quarterback for the whole season.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't been a starting quarterback for an entire, seventeen or sixteen game season since twenty, seventeen.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's been eight years guys.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: This is not going to happen now at age forty.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: He is going to organically flame out.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: It is what is going to happen.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody knows that everybody expects it and that is fine because that's how it's supposed to go.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: So for grossy though, to say that they're leaving the door open for Kenny Picket to still compete for this job.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to know what he's got or what information or what he's heard or seen or who he's talked to that's giving him the impression that Kenny Pickett is in any way still in the running for this job.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now I am recording this before the Browns practice on Tuesday.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: and Wednesday, obviously.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, is Kenny Pick is still going to be out there running with the first team in seven on sevens and stuff this week?
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, probably.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, I don't expect anything to change with this team.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: I said it before and I'll keep saying it until something changes.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be Joe Flacco's going to lead the ones.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: If anyone else is getting read with the ones, it's going to be Kenny and probably Dylan.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: and then Shador is going to continue to exclusively work with the second and third string.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: Dylan will work with the ones and twos.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: Shador will work with the twos and threes.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's how it's going to, that's how it's been.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's how it's going to keep going.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't agree with it.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you agree with it, but let me know in the comments either way that is what I expect.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: to be the situation.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think the door is open for Kenny Pickett.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I can't put anything past this team.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: They have done some very strange things, especially at the quarterback position in the past.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they do have some, for some reason, some strange love.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: for Kenny Pickett.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they've seen.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Can't have been any much more than what we've seen because there's not a lot to see when he's not practicing.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: The other side of the Kenny Pickett argument, too.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: I see a lot of people well, they just need to trade them.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: They just need to call the Saints.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: They just need to call the Rams.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: They just need to the trade them.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, who's trading for Kenny Picket right now?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, let's be real.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's injured.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: He has a hamstring injury that has held him out of training camp and the preseason for like the last three plus weeks.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: or more, I can't, I'm losing all track of time, maybe it's been a month now.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: No set, you know, return or timeline for his return.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: And hamstring injuries, we know linger throughout the season.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: If he can't practice right now, who's trading for him to come into be anything, I mean, maybe we could get a seventh round pick or maybe a late round pick swap for Kenny Pickett for a team that just wants to add a little depth there, but
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the Rams already have an injured quarterback.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: What are they going to do trade for another injured quarterback?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: So they they can have both guys open the season on pop and then they still have to play Jimmy Garabola or, you know, the Saints.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they've got two young guys that they've got a quarterback competition going on.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to throw another guy in the mix who's hurt.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, can't really actively compete with these two guys.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: So either way, they're still going to have to roll with Rattler or Tyler Schuck.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: And both of those guys, I feel like, are fully capable of throwing balls into the dirt at their own feet?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: Just like, can he pick it?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Is capable of doing so?
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get the can he pick it trade stuff.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: I get the notion of it.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: But the logical sense of it, I don't see it.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see anybody coming and giving the Browns anything worthwhile to trade form.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how things play out here in the next few weeks.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously we get our dress rehearsal final preseason game on Saturday against the Rams.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's two weeks, two weeks to prep for week one against the bangles on September, seventh in Cleveland.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a fun one.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is sponsored by Manly Bands.

- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: See site for details.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: Another thing to watch here is, well, let's start with this.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns announced officially the signing of Widersy for Isaiah Bond yesterday.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: So that's great for the Widersy record.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: And we'd been talking about it for a while.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: The details started to come out like on Friday saying that the Browns were going to sign them to a, maybe it was Saturday, sign them to a three year deal.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: People started to get all hot and bothered by, oh, he's getting a three year deal.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I kept reminding everybody like,
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: UDFA's typically get three-year contracts.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: That is the typical standard UDFA contract.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's the money that I was anticipating, that I was, you know, really curious to see how the financial shook out.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then the details came out.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Isaiah Bond received a three year fully guaranteed three million dollar deal with the Browns, with a fifty four thousand dollar, I think it was fifty four thousand dollar signing bonus.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's significant because if you compare to other more standard UDFA contracts like a gauge larver name for example.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Engage larver name also has a three year three million dollar UDFA contract however only forty five thousand dollars of his contract is guaranteed.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: So Isaiah Bond receiving all three million of his contract fully guaranteed, the dude is a lock for the Browns' fifty three-man roster this season without ever taking a step on the field now.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, before people get, you know, I, I know some people probably get upset, you know, because of his situation and that arrest and allegations, you know, you didn't want him in the first place or why we given this guy, priority treatment over these other players.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't even taken a snap.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: All I get it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: But remember, the Brownspend extensive time with Isaiah Bond in the pre-Draft process.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: They had him in for a visit.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: They met with him.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: They worked him out like he's a guy that they had high on their draft board.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I do think they had probably the pick that ended up going to Harold Fan.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: And they probably had that pick.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: You know, also earmarked this could go to Isaiah Bond if he falls into the beginning of the third round here.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: If he didn't go in the second.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: But they wanted them, I guess, is just the main takeaway here.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: They wanted Isaiah Bond and they've been in contact with him throughout this entire process.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: They've been doing, Andrew Barry put out a statement.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: They've done so much extensive investigation into this whole, sexual assault, allegation, case, everything going on with Isaiah Bond before the draft and
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he went through a polygraph test and all kinds of stuff and Andrew Barry said, you know, team did all their investigations and felt confident, signing him, bringing him in, bringing him in, everything's been dropped.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: The case has been no built.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's cleared to go and
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, they anticipate no suspension.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen plenty of report from people around the league, not just Cleveland media, but around the league saying no suspension or NFL punishment expected for Isaiah Bond.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: So the Browns do get a
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: great prospect at wide receiver without having to spend a draft pick on one.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we harped on the Browns a lot.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: This entire offseason say, I can't believe you guys didn't address the receiver position.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't draft anybody.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: You really didn't bring anybody in.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: All this kind of stuff.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this is the guy they were waiting for.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: And they got him.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_01]: They got Isaiah Montz.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: So it's exciting for the Browns receiver room.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully he can add that element that playmaking element to this offense that we so desperately need.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the last thing I want to talk about here, the guy who should be under contract, still is not under contract.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: Quint Shawn Judkins.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing here, Browns?
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, came out the other day.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, a couple of days ago.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Came out that, obviously, Quint Shawn's charges had been dropped.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_01]: His case had been dismissed.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: All that kind of stuff he wasn't going to face any charges.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: The legal situation with Quint Shawn Judkins is over.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's done.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing more to see on the legal side of things.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: So, especially after the Isaiah Bond signing was announced a little prematurely, but we all knew it was coming.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, okay, same situation with Judkins.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: Case dismissed, charges dropped, get him under contract, get him in here to practice so we can get rolling.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: Week one isn't very far away.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, now it's coming out, Adam's after tweeting some other people saying the Browns, Juddkins, not expected to get a contract done until the NFL's investigation into this whole situation is complete.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, what are we, first of all, on the NFL side of things?
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to mention this, what are we doing?
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: What are we investigating?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: What are we trying to do here?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Because
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're on the lie I just said on the legal side of things it's all done there's there's nothing we saw the statement that was released from the court like there's no evidence there's actually evidence going against refuting what the his accuser claimed it all the a lot of the evidence actually supports judge can side of things
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: I remember, I'm more enough to remember what was the two years ago, something like that two years ago.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: Alvin Camara, damn near be a man to death on video in what a Las Vegas hotel hallway outside an elevator, something like that.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: And he wasn't, this was not self defense.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: He was not attacked.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: He had a whole gang of guys around him.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what this dude said to Kamera, but a set him off.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: And he almost beat the man to death while this whole gang of Kameras, you know, dudes was around him just watching.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: Alvin Camerra got arrested, spent what a nighter spent time in jail was charged with like phoned his soul.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: I forget the whole details of the case, but I know that the end result on the NFL level three games is mentioned for all that for all that and go to Google if you don't have like a super weak stomach and just Google Alvin Camerra assault and look at the pictures of the man's face that he that he assaulted.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Who?
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: Three games suspension.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: What is the NFL trying to do here with Judkins?
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: There's no evidence supporting that he did anything.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: There's no case anymore.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: There's no charges anymore.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: How are you going to justify suspending this guy for any length of time?
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let alone more than what you did with a guy like Kamera.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: But then again, the NFL is not a fair league, especially when it comes to these punishments, they kind of just willenilly these things.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: It not of it ever makes sense.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: The process doesn't make sense.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: The punishments, the final rulings don't make sense.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: None of it makes sense.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever, we'll move on from that for the Browns and Judkins.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: The issue with Quintron Judd, Kim's in his contract, this entire time has been not exclusive to just the Browns.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: So the Browns and the Texans were the only two teams originally to give their second round picks, fully guaranteed contracts.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: First two full-igharrantine contracts in NFL history, four second round players.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: And it was, the Browns gave the first full-igharrantine, no, actually, I'm sorry.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: The Texans gave the first ever fully guaranteed contract to a second-round player, to Jaden Higgins, their widersiever that they selected at Pick thirty-four, and the Browns at Pick thirty-three took Carson Swesinger, and they also gave him a fully guaranteed contract.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's what held up the deals for all other the the other thirty players picked in the second round.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: None of them signed with their teams for ever.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody signed with their teams until training camp started.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: Once players got back from summer break, got into training camps.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's when deals start.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: He finally getting done for second round picks.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I like traving on Henderson over running back.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: Taken two spots after Quintron Jotkins with the Patriots got his contract fully guaranteed.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: If all this crap hadn't happened with Quenchon, Judkins, he would have reported to training camp.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like the rest of these second round picks, he would have gotten a fully guaranteed contract with the Browns, and we would be often running and getting ready for the season.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't have any information on this.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: This is not.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not reporting sources or anything.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: I am speculating, but it makes sense that Quenchon and his agent, because a lot of people say, oh, Judkins needs to do this.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Do that.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, guys, he has an agent who is advising him
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't necessarily Quenchon's decisions or anything like that.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: His agent is probably steering the ship saying, listen, I know you had this whole situation happen to you.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: You were in this mess, this crap, whether you want to keep blame on Quenchon or not or whatever, doesn't matter.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: The situation now is you're now available to sign your contract with the team.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: The legal situation is over.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: continue to push for your fully guaranteed contract that based on where you were taken based on the players around you.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: And what they got, you still deserve.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: That has got to be the message from the agent.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I would bet on it.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_01]: So they're still fighting.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine for a fully guaranteed contract similar to what the guys around them got his fellow teammate, Swesinger.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: and the browns likely, again speculating here, but the browns are likely saying, and if I'll still investigating this, you might end up getting suspended.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: We're not fully guaranteeing your contract.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe there's a hang up over verbage in the contract kind of like with Schermar Stewart and the Bengals.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the deal is.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I'm just speculating, but there's a hold up.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: And personally,
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: especially when it comes to the Browns and what they're doing, what they've done with contracts, it's like, I would just, just keep him what he's supposed to have.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: Give him the second round contract, the fully guaranteed that you were going to give him anyway once he got to camp, you know, if this whole situation hadn't happened.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Well, number one, you've already set the precedent, guys.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can't stand on your laurels and be like, hey, listen, you might be getting suspended.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if we can fully guarantee your kind.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: They gave to Sean Watson the highest fully guaranteed contract NFN NFL history.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: And they knew he was going to miss significant time after they traded for him and gave him that contract.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_01]: They just gave Isaiah Bond a fully guaranteed contract, even though he had just been arrested and had all these allegations and had a case dropped and charges dropped and all that kind of stuff.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: It was like three days later, he got a fully guaranteed contract quit holding out.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: on Quenchang Judkins because he had drafted him with a top forty pick.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: You identified him and hand picked him to be the future bell cow leader of your running game and to be the engine and the fuel of your entire offense.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: Just sign the guy, just pay him.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: Just, you're gonna pay him anyway.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: At some point, unless you really just wanna let him not be here and roll with Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson and kind of rethink this whole thing and chalk that up to a waist to a high second round pick, which I don't think the Browns wanna do.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: just pay the man, just freaking pay him and get him in here.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: So we can start practicing, get ready for this season.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: This is, it's starting to get ridiculous.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: It really is.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe more details about this whole, you know, tug of war back and forth between judgekins and the team will come out and will, you know, change our opinion on how we look at this.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: But with the information available right now, which isn't much, it's why I'm doing this to all the speculating by God.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_01]: Lee guys, just get the guy in your contract.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: We need him.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: We need him.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: And even like I said, even if the NFL does suspend him, the legal situation has gone.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be a one time suspension boom, he'll serve it done.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then he's right back here.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: So just get him in the freaking building and just pointing back to that Alvin Cameras suspension.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just, the NFL is so stupid.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: The NFL, Roger Goodell, they're, you know, their personal conduct policy.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's just,
- 25:34[SPEAKER_01]: There's no consistency and there's just, there's stupid.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, that's really the updates here for now.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: Just wanted to get these out here to you guys before we talk about everything and more detail and go into the preview for the game tomorrow night.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, the preview tomorrow night for the game on Saturday and I want to remind you guys, this is one of the last times you'll get one more reminder tomorrow unless we get six people sign up today.

- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is, we have nine leagues this year.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: We went from, I think the first year we had like one or two leagues that we did.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was two.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: The second year we bumped it up and I think we had three or four last year.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: We had five leagues this year.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: We have nine redraft leagues that we're playing in the dog pack.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a ton of fun.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: and you know the winners all get a championship t-shirt and you get bragging rights and what what happens most years like the first five the five leagues from last year rolled over into this year like all ten managers in each of those leagues just want to roll it back and say let's just keep running this league back let's keep running it back so if you're looking for a new league to get into that's going to be around not just for one season then you find something else to do next year no you get to come back next year
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: And be in the same league.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to, you can always opt out and say, hey, I want to join a different league.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know, within the dog pack, that's totally fine.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: You can do that, too.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: No problem.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: But most of these people want to come back and say, hey, you know, I got to know, you know, Joe Sue and Sally that were in my league last year.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_01]: And they were a ton of fun.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: I want to run it back.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we got this little competition.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's been a ton of fun.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: So join the dogs.com, get in six spots left.
