- 0:00Hi, this is Stephanie Maas, partner with Thinking Ahead Search Firm.
- 0:04In episode 37, I mentioned a quick 30 to 45 second elevator pitch that I might give to a potential client.
- 0:12So here it is, and feel free to customize this for your own situation.
- 0:17So there are three things that our clients appreciate about how we work or what makes us different.
- 0:21Number one, I know it's gonna sound, we call it old fashioned.
- 0:24I don't think it is, but it's what works.
- 0:26We do a direct calling effort.
- 0:28Every search I take on, there'll be between 90 and 110 actual phone calls that we make on your behalf in the market.
- 0:34There'll be a lease, two, sometimes up to five attempts to get them on the phone, plus electronic reach outs for us.
- 0:41Electronic reach outs are going through things like LinkedIn, text, email, et cetera.
- 0:46Second thing is our process.
- 0:48Everybody gets the same process.
- 0:50And just to let you know how good our process is, every search that I take and work.
- 0:56Now, by the way, these are my stats.
- 0:57You gotta figure out yours.
- 0:58I have a one-to-one search assignment to placement.
- 1:01If I say I'm gonna work it, I fill it.
- 1:03Now, some people may say, well, what happens if the client goes on search or on hold?
- 1:07Or if the client stops the search?
- 1:10Well, that's not on me.
- 1:11That's on them.
- 1:11So.
- 1:12If it's active, I'm working.
- 1:13It's a one to one.
- 1:14I have an average of three to five candidates per search.
- 1:19By the way, those candidates are vetted for skillset, interest, and a compensation match.
- 1:25Of those three to five, four out of five get interviewed.
- 1:2960% that are interviewed get invited back to a second interview, which just shows you the quality.
- 1:33Your biggest decision is which one and 90% of the offers that I pre-close and deliver get accepted.
- 1:40Plug and play process.
- 1:42And then the last part is it's a one point of contact.
- 1:46Yes, I have a research team.
- 1:47Yes, I have resources.
- 1:48I may get someone else to help me go locate the right people to call, but it's me delivering your message into the market for my people.
- 1:56That's important.
- 1:57It avoids any confusion and brings a clear, consistent message to the market about what y'all have got going on.
- 2:05And by the way, I'll actually clarify that message with you before it hits the market so you know exactly what I'm saying on your behalf.
- 2:13How does that compare with Affirm you've used in the past?
- 2:17That's it.
- 2:18Hope this helps.
