Transcript
- 0:00As part of Ferrari Fridays, William Ross from the Exotic Car Marketplace
- 0:04will be discussing all things Ferrari and interviewing people that live
- 0:07and breathe the Ferrari brand.
- 0:09Topics range from road cars to racing, drivers to owners, as well
- 0:13as auctions, private sales, and trends in the collector market.
- 0:22Hello everyone, and welcome back to the podcast.
- 0:25It's been way too long since I've posted something, hasn't it?
- 0:30So, I tried to scale back some of the other things that are going on,
- 0:33because I just keep forgetting and just getting out of here to do this.
- 0:38And I really enjoy doing this.
- 0:41I mean, I know the, I don't know how well the sound quality is.
- 0:43I don't know how much you guys really, you know, everyone's, I got some downloads.
- 0:47So wait, why not?
- 0:48So I guess I'll just keep doing it.
- 0:49So I've got a plan together, you know, going into this new year.
- 0:53I know it's almost February, but like I said, I kind of, uh, got a
- 0:56plan of attack for all the things I got to do and what I want to do.
- 0:59And I want to really kind of attack the YouTube channel in regards to stuff.
- 1:03So.
- 1:04Uh, and you know, acquire some things for the channel, but also, you know,
- 1:08kind of maybe grow this podcast some more and expand it to some other topics and
- 1:12hopefully get some guests on and whatnot.
- 1:14So I'm going to do what I can, but again, I'm no audio file.
- 1:17I'm no expert at doing this kind of stuff.
- 1:19So God only knows how it'll turn out, but Hey, just bear with me.
- 1:23And as we grow, hopefully it'll get better.
- 1:25And maybe I can get some people that actually know what they're
- 1:27doing and, and help me out on this.
- 1:29Cause I try to stick with what I know and that's cars.
- 1:34You know, and that's talking about cars, driving cars, selling
- 1:36cars, doing everything like that.
- 1:38So, that's what I'm good at.
- 1:39Computer technology stuff, not so much.
- 1:42I guess it could be my ADD, I just don't have the patience for it.
- 1:45Eh, or who knows, maybe I just get bored too easily.
- 1:48Again, the ADD, so anyways.
- 1:50But hey, welcome back to the podcast.
- 1:52I'm William, and I really appreciate you guys listening.
- 1:54So today's topic, as you probably saw from the title, we're going to discuss
- 2:00Something that's kind of taking off recently in the past, I'd say, you know,
- 2:04year, year and a half, maybe two years, but it's really, really gained momentum.
- 2:09And that's taking the Ferrari, say a 360 and a 430.
- 2:14Now, even a 599, even doing the 430 Scuds, taking the F1 transmission cars
- 2:20and making them into a six speed manual.
- 2:24Now there's an outfit down in Texas, uh, EAG, um, that
- 2:30actually has performance now.
- 2:32They have a very similar name to a very, very well known retail BMW dealer
- 2:38down in Cincinnati, Ohio that deals in, you know, used BMWs, but they deal
- 2:44in M3s, M5s, whatnot, all the high end stuff, and they get some gorgeous cars.
- 2:50They're extremely expensive, but they get the best of the best of the best.
- 2:54And if you're looking for something along those lines, if you're looking
- 2:57for an E46 M3, an E36 M3, or the E39 M5, those are the guys to see.
- 3:04That's also EAG.
- 3:06But anyways, so different outfit, different company down to Texas.
- 3:09So they've been around for a long time and they, you know, doing a lot
- 3:13of work on cars and what have you.
- 3:14And they, I think it took them a couple years to really kind of perfect the
- 3:21package that they utilize to do this, uh, transformation on these cars.
- 3:28Now.
- 3:29You know, they really fine tuned it and honed it, so I mean, it's, it's spot on.
- 3:34Now, I don't know how familiar all you guys are with how that transmission works,
- 3:37but it's actually a cable operated system.
- 3:39Even from the factory, it's cable actuated.
- 3:42So, it's not like there's hydraulics involved, and that sort of, I guess,
- 3:45you know, running lines, and that kind of stuff for, you know, it's,
- 3:48you know, mechanical, so to speak.
- 3:50So, they actually had designed and engineered a whole system
- 3:54to replace the F1 transmission.
- 3:58Now, I don't know if you've gone online and how much you do in your free time,
- 4:01what have you, or killing some time at work at your desk, you know, but,
- 4:05uh, I'm always, um, you know, in my free time or just sitting around,
- 4:12I'll be on bring a trailer every day.
- 4:14I'm on bring a trailer a couple of times a day.
- 4:15I'll go on cars and bids and, you know, not so much eBay because I just
- 4:21not a big fan of eBay looking at cars on there because they just kind of,
- 4:24I think that's for the, the, uh, I want to say not say lower end, but
- 4:30I don't say shady, but I don't know.
- 4:32Very rarely do you find anything good on eBay.
- 4:34I'll tell you that right now.
- 4:35Uh, but, uh, you know, and sometimes I'll snoop through Craigslist
- 4:39just to see if there's something kind of lurking around parts wise.
- 4:44Um, but also, you know, Auto Tempest is fantastic.
- 4:47So I don't know if anyone out there has been utilizing Auto Tempest
- 4:50just to shop around and do some daydream and looking at cars.
- 4:52But Auto Tempest is fantastic because they actually search through
- 4:57basically every single used car site on the internet pretty much.
- 5:02Um, you know, they're missing a few, but only one drawback, I guess, is it'd be
- 5:08nice if someone could create something along the lines for all the auction
- 5:14sites and for cars getting out, you know, uh, they're getting auctioned.
- 5:18So that would be really cool because then you can really kind of get a better grasp
- 5:21of what's really out there and what's for sale and following pricing and whatnot.
- 5:25Because in my business, I know I've really got to kind of keep track of
- 5:28the trends and what's costing what and what's going up, what's going down.
- 5:33So it's kind of, that's kind of what led me to this topic because it,
- 5:37when they were first coming out where they started doing these, I guess,
- 5:40getting more well known in regards to doing these changes, transformations
- 5:46on these cars, you know, there was some people that were crying foul
- 5:49thinking, Oh no, why are you doing this?
- 5:51That didn't he had the other side, which like me, uh, it's to
- 5:55me, I think, Hey, it's awesome.
- 5:57It's outstanding.
- 5:58You can't fault Ferrari for it because they're following the trend.
- 6:00And, and, you know, you look at what their sales numbers were.
- 6:03And everybody was wanting to buy that F1 transmission because that was the cool
- 6:07thing to get, that was the in thing.
- 6:08So, I think it was something like, you know, on the 360s it was
- 6:13almost like a, uh, 70 30 split.
- 6:1670 percent getting the F1 transmission and 30 percent getting trans, uh,
- 6:19you know, the 6 speed manuals.
- 6:21It might be, it might be a little off.
- 6:22Then I know with the 430s it increased even more to almost a 90 10 split.
- 6:26Maybe like a 85 15 split.
- 6:29So, you know, finding F30s with the 6 speed is pretty, pretty tough.
- 6:34Uh, from the factory.
- 6:36So EAG stepped in and came up with this kit.
- 6:41And I know originally it was, hey you had to send your car
- 6:45down there, they would do it.
- 6:46I know it's like, you know, it's your 360 or 430, whatever, you
- 6:49know, depending on which one it is.
- 6:50You know, obviously there's some incidental work in there depending
- 6:54on the shape your car's in.
- 6:56Uh, but you're probably looking to do the transformation about 40 to 50 grand.
- 7:00So it's not cheap.
- 7:02Um, but the kit that they engineered is supposed to be, I guess,
- 7:07even the tolerances are tighter.
- 7:09Um, the quality, everything that they did was, I guess, it's even, it's
- 7:14better than the factory's version of it.
- 7:16So you're getting a very high quality.
- 7:18So the tolerances are tighter.
- 7:19Everything's a lot tighter.
- 7:20It's a lot more, I guess, packaged better.
- 7:24In regards to this kit that they sell and install now I've seen a few cars
- 7:29that have said hey, it's utilizing the AG kit, but the installation was done
- 7:33by X Y Z Company wherever they were at.
- 7:37So obviously you can buy that kit and I think the kit just buying itself
- 7:40like 18, 20 grand, something like that.
- 7:43Maybe a little less, maybe a little more, somewhere around there.
- 7:45But you look at labor and everything like that, so labor, you're
- 7:47looking at 20, 30 grand to do it.
- 7:48Because there's a lot involved.
- 7:50You know, you've got a lot of pieces, you've got to get your
- 7:51gear selected and whatnot.
- 7:52But one of the big things that they perfected, now, I don't know how they
- 7:56do this in regards to the cars that are getting done, uh, outside of EAG,
- 8:02that they're just selling the kids to.
- 8:03Because the biggest hurdle That they had to overcome.
- 8:07I mean, you could make the parts, get the cables and stuff like that.
- 8:09Hey, that's just a lot of CNC machining work.
- 8:12Uh, engineering and just, you know, doing a lot of measurements
- 8:14and whatnot and getting that done.
- 8:15And hey, you got a good CNC guy.
- 8:17Hey, they can whip this stuff out.
- 8:19You know, if you got your own CNC machine, you can just sit there and do part, part.
- 8:21Hey, try this.
- 8:22Oh, no, do that.
- 8:22Take this off.
- 8:23You know, so you can handle it pretty easily.
- 8:27But the biggest hurdle when they were trying to perfect this was the ECU.
- 8:32Now, getting into that and, you know, getting, plugging yourself in and getting
- 8:35the computer itself to recognize, hey, you know, hey, this is, we're going
- 8:41from the F1 transmission, automated transmission to a six speed manual.
- 8:46Now, there are two completely different Programming, did that sound right?
- 8:52Sorry, I apologize if that came out right.
- 8:54So I'm, I'm, you know, thinking as I talk here.
- 8:56But anyways, so the, each car, each version of it has a
- 9:00different program to it on how this thing reacts to your shifts.
- 9:04So like when you shift, you know, the revs, everything like that.
- 9:08So, and also on F1s it's got the little digital readout, you know,
- 9:12gears, what gear you're in, everything like that, which the manuals don't.
- 9:16So, that just becomes a blank space in essence.
- 9:20But um, they have to go in there and reprogram this car to basically
- 9:28think it's a, you know, hey, it's a 6 speed manual car now.
- 9:31So that took a lot of work to do it because one thing is just about with
- 9:35your revs and as you know, you're holding a gear, everything like that.
- 9:38You know, because sometimes in that F1 transmission, you're holding
- 9:41the gear, it'll shift itself.
- 9:42You know, it's like that because the computer's thinking,
- 9:44hey, it needs to shift.
- 9:45So they had to go through and reprogram the whole ECU to be able to handle this.
- 9:51So which is, it's an a feat in itself.
- 9:53So again, I don't know if that's something that they just say, here's
- 9:57the time to download it, whatever.
- 10:00Here's the, it's on a USB.
- 10:02I don't know how they would do it for an outfit outside
- 10:04of EAG itself for doing that.
- 10:06But you have to reprogram the entire system.
- 10:09Now, if it was up to me, I would have EAG do it.
- 10:12I mean, I guess if you got a really good shop and trust it, but hey
- 10:16guys, I mean, that's up to you.
- 10:17But I mean, I would probably, my have my druthers, I'd have EAG do my conversion.
- 10:23Um, but obviously I think as it gets more and more common in doing
- 10:30it, you know, like I said, it's not too technical to do the swap.
- 10:37It's just getting the right people that know what they're doing.
- 10:40And I think the biggest thing is having the guy that knows how to
- 10:43do the programming for the car.
- 10:45So once they get that situated, then hey, you're in business to do it.
- 10:49But anyways.
- 10:50Getting back to the main topic in regards to these cars now, so they're like the
- 10:55past six seven months I've been kind of looking around at You know 430s and 360s
- 11:01and you know It's just been popping up more and more and more that you're seeing
- 11:04these cars that have had a manual swap done to them and basically a Majority
- 11:09almost all of them have it's been done by EAG because they're pretty much the only
- 11:13I would say the only game in town But that's the one everyone utilizes because
- 11:16they basically have perfected it now.
- 11:19They've been perfected to outstandingly, especially for the
- 11:22three sixties and four thirties.
- 11:24Now I know they started, you know, some of pop started popping up doing
- 11:26the four thirties scud, which that would be a dream car to get for me.
- 11:31I would take one in a heartbeat.
- 11:32Now everyone's thinking, Oh God, that transmission is great.
- 11:34Why did you buy it?
- 11:34I was like, but you know, I'm old school, you know, I'm going to be 53 in April.
- 11:38So I lean more towards having manual cars.
- 11:41It's just who I am.
- 11:42I just think it's more engaging, you know, and besides, if you're driving that car
- 11:47on just on your regular streets and roads.
- 11:50You know, it's not like you're, you know, unless you're doing track
- 11:53days consistently with this car and you don't really drive it on the
- 11:55street, you know, on the street, you're going to get a ton more.
- 11:59Yeah, I was going to use that swear word, but I don't want to
- 12:01get, you know, bleep things out.
- 12:03I think it's going to get a lot more engagement and enjoyment out of you got
- 12:05a six speed manual because you're just involved with the driving experience.
- 12:10So I have no qualms with these conversions getting done.
- 12:14It's just getting done properly.
- 12:16Now, it's interesting though, pricing wise, like I've seen a couple of dealers.
- 12:20I had one dealer, I actually spoke to 'em about it, and they had the
- 12:22car priced at like two, was it 2 20, 200 $20,000 for a conversion.
- 12:28And I've seen 'em all the way down at 130,000.
- 12:31And these are on four thirties, so you know, 360 with the manual conversion
- 12:36done, I've seen 'em anywhere from the one 20, a little one teams
- 12:40range all the way up to 1 60, 1 70.
- 12:43Now here's the thing, now they're gaining in value big time in regards to this.
- 12:48So I'm gonna give you guys a little.
- 12:49tidbit.
- 12:50If you're, if you're in a position in life, you can go out and buy one.
- 12:53I would definitely go buy a 360 6B manual from the factory or a
- 12:58430 if you can get your hands on.
- 12:59Yeah, you're going to pay a premium for them, but tell you what, as long as
- 13:02you maintain and do everything you're supposed to do and just, Hey, you have
- 13:06no issues paying, you know, roughly, you got a budget about just over your
- 13:12lifespan of the car that you own it.
- 13:14It'll average about say four to five grand a year.
- 13:16You're going to have to do on maintenance.
- 13:17Now, some years it could be maybe.
- 13:191, 500, 2, 000, just doing your general stuff, oils, that kind of stuff.
- 13:23But some years you're going to have it worth maybe 8, 000, 9, 000.
- 13:25So it all balances out to about 4, 000 or 5, 000 a year.
- 13:27You're probably looking at just a budget in regards to maintenance for this car.
- 13:31But I said, if you got the wherewithal and the means, I would definitely go
- 13:35get your hands on one and enjoy it.
- 13:37Uh, cause those things are going to just go up in value because it's, Hey, again,
- 13:41they don't make any more, Ferrari ain't making any more manual transmission cars.
- 13:45But.
- 13:46Now, I guess here's where the argument comes into those.
- 13:49Okay.
- 13:49What's, what's the value you're going to maintain or keep?
- 13:53Is it going to increase, decrease or what on a car that's
- 13:55had a six speed conversion?
- 13:57Now I know I'm pretty sure that, you know, you can get all, you'll get all
- 14:01the parts back and everything like that for the, from the conversion.
- 14:04So, Hey, if you're, when you go to sell the car and move it on, Hey,
- 14:07you could give those parts to the new owner and say, Hey, if you ever
- 14:10wanted to switch it back, cause it's.
- 14:12Pretty straight forward underneath, as I said, with the cable, the actuators,
- 14:15everything that goes on there.
- 14:16Again, though, you have to reprogram the ECU to be able to go back to it.
- 14:19So, I mean, I don't know why you'd want to, but I guess that's a jerk car.
- 14:24You spent the money, you can do what the hell you want with it.
- 14:27But, you know, I would never switch it back, that's for sure.
- 14:31So, but here's kind of where I'm getting at a little bit also with this
- 14:35conversation is I'm in the process of potentially, you know, looking at a 430
- 14:42and I'm debating whether to go with a factory 6 speed or one with the swap.
- 14:48Now, if I go with the swap, I can save a decent amount of money.
- 14:51I could probably save 50, 100 grand, I bet.
- 14:54Somewhere in that range.
- 14:56You know, compared to a 6 speed, you know, swap that would have been done on one.
- 15:00Um, roughly, I would say mileage wise, everything like that, you know, a lot of
- 15:04the ones I'm seeing, you know, you got them in the mid high teens into the mid
- 15:08low 20s range, you know, mileage wise.
- 15:11Um, and here's the thing.
- 15:13Mileage doesn't scare me.
- 15:14Hey, if it's got all the service history and maintenance records to
- 15:16it, I got no problem going after a higher, higher mileage car.
- 15:21You know, hey, everything's fine.
- 15:22It's a car.
- 15:23It's meant to be driven.
- 15:24As long as the service has been done, Hey, you got to do that
- 15:27on your other, your regular car.
- 15:28Yeah, that might be not as temperamental.
- 15:31Um, but you know, you still got to do general maintenance, everything
- 15:34on your just regular Camry.
- 15:36Forward or whatever.
- 15:38Um, so that doesn't scare me in regards to having a high mileage as
- 15:41long as the history is there, you know, and a very complete history.
- 15:46Um, 360s though, as everyone knows out there that knows their Ferraris
- 15:50is my only drawback is going towards a 360 is they got the belts.
- 15:54And those belts have to be done about every 5, 000 miles or every
- 16:005 years, something like that.
- 16:02Um, 000 miles.
- 16:04I know it's every 5 years at a minimum.
- 16:07Um, And depending on where you go, now here's the thing with those, I
- 16:11know I'm getting a little sidetracked here, but normally you go, you're
- 16:15going to go somewhere that does the work, everything, a lot of times
- 16:17they try and tell you it's, any place will say it's an engine out to do it.
- 16:22It's not.
- 16:23If you have some place that knows what they're doing, like there's a place
- 16:26here by me that I know they do excellent work because they do it for some of
- 16:29these guys, these dealers around here.
- 16:31Uh, and I know Sam down at RSM.
- 16:33A little plug for him.
- 16:35Check out RSM Motors.
- 16:36Sam's got, he's a kind of a boutique dealer.
- 16:39He's just got very minimal inventory, but the inventory he's got is phenomenal.
- 16:42But anyways, Sam sends his cars there and I know on a belt change service,
- 16:46they only charge about three grand.
- 16:48You know, so it normally appears like, Oh, it's like 10, 20, 000.
- 16:51Nah, it's not that bad.
- 16:53If you go to a shop that knows what they're doing, um, it won't be that bad.
- 16:56But that's another nice thing, they'll go into the 430 because
- 16:59it's a different engine and they went to change instead of the belt.
- 17:02I mean, you're still going to have your general maintenance issues, everything
- 17:04like that, but you're not going to have to do these belt changes all the time.
- 17:07So that's kind of part of the ownership.
- 17:08So especially like the earlier 360s, they got, you know, hopefully that
- 17:12some of the issues have gotten fixed.
- 17:14The first of the 99, 2000 models, they had some issues with the
- 17:18fuel rails and that kind of stuff.
- 17:19So, you know, kind of getting into a newer one deal.
- 17:24Um, but anyways, I'm leaning towards the 430 to try and hold one down.
- 17:31Now, again, like I said, I've seen something priced in regards to, Hey,
- 17:35you know, 1 31 40 range, but then I see him obviously all the way up 200 range.
- 17:42Now it's like, okay, let's be realistic.
- 17:44Now the guy, the dealer that had the one that was in that one, uh,
- 17:492 20 range, I think it was 2 17 or something, something like that.
- 17:53Anyways, I had a conversation with the phone a couple of times and
- 17:56he's like, I'm willing to deal.
- 17:57I mean, you know, so he wants to move it.
- 17:59And you know, my thing is okay, maybe 1 65 1 70 because the car I think
- 18:04I had 22, 000 miles on something.
- 18:06Great services or anything.
- 18:07It's a gorgeous color.
- 18:08Now, me personally, I hate tan interior.
- 18:12I cannot stand tan or light colored interiors.
- 18:14I think that's the biggest mistake you can do is getting something, getting a
- 18:17light colored interior car because it just shows dirt, grime, or anything.
- 18:21I just, it's just not me.
- 18:22I either prefer black or red.
- 18:24Now, I'll go into a dark, dark tan like, you know, tobacco brown color.
- 18:29That looks sharp.
- 18:30I said, I hate light tan.
- 18:32I hate gray.
- 18:34I just, I'm not a fan.
- 18:35So anyone I get, it's going to have to have a dark, you have a black
- 18:37or red interior, uh, or that, you know, nice tobacco brown interior.
- 18:41But my preference is black interior.
- 18:44But anyways, so I know that guy would do a lot.
- 18:47So I play kind of like trying to see where the trend's going is, are
- 18:53these swap cars going to, I guess.
- 18:57Become almost equal value of a factory one or, or is it just always going to
- 19:02be a, I guess a 30 percent roughly to 40 percent difference in price between
- 19:09a factory manual and a swap car.
- 19:13So I don't know.
- 19:14No, I said, I want to get my, cause I'm going to drive it.
- 19:17I'm going to take that.
- 19:17I'm going to start using it.
- 19:18Hey, for the YouTube channel and start, you know, going around
- 19:21cause I want to do is obviously I want to go around to events.
- 19:24I'm not wanting to be one of those YouTube channels.
- 19:26Just hey.
- 19:26They get in their car and they go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 19:29And I think you guys probably know what I'm talking about.
- 19:31Um, great channel though.
- 19:32He's got some decent cars, but I want to have actual content.
- 19:36I want to go check out like all these, you know, there's awesome museums.
- 19:39I'm in Ohio.
- 19:40I got tons of museums that are within a, you know, eight, 10 hour
- 19:43driving me or jump on a plane.
- 19:45Um, I got these awesome events around here.
- 19:47Hey, in the wintertime, I just jump on a plane, go down South wherever, rent a
- 19:50car, head out to Cal, do stuff like that.
- 19:52But I really want to start, I want to create content.
- 19:55And kind of, uh, you know, take people along for the ride.
- 19:57But another little thing, you know, background on me, is I also
- 20:01wanted to be able to give back.
- 20:03I am a wish granter with Make A Wish and I also volunteer a couple
- 20:07animal shelters here locally.
- 20:09So I really wanted to be able to utilize the channel and be able to, you know,
- 20:13bring attention to these causes of mine and hopefully help them raise
- 20:16money and do a lot of those things.
- 20:17So anyways, and that was a little sidebar, but anyways.
- 20:20So that's kind of what I wanted to get into, start using that kind
- 20:22of showcase and kind of do stuff along those lines to generate.
- 20:29But so I, I'm, I'm debating, you know, I came across, uh, a 430.
- 20:35It's available to factory six speed.
- 20:36I haven't spoken to him yet.
- 20:37Cause I don't know what the price is yet on it, but it's a black, black car.
- 20:41So it's like right up my alley.
- 20:43Um, you know, and I'm not one to do all these mods to it.
- 20:46I'll probably put an exhaust on it, but other than that, I'm not one
- 20:49to do all that crazy crap to it.
- 20:52I'm not going to twin turbo it and all that stupid ass shit.
- 20:56Um, that's not me.
- 20:57I'm a purist.
- 20:58I mean, I love the sound of it.
- 20:59I want to make it, you know, make it sound beautiful.
- 21:01That's why I do the exhaust on it.
- 21:03You do it to be on it.
- 21:04I got Corso over here right down the street by me, probably about 15 minutes
- 21:08from my house and I could partner up with them and get them on board
- 21:11and hate, see if they can do some something for it special, but I'm just
- 21:15curious to see where things are going.
- 21:16I'm curious what your guys opinion at, because it's.
- 21:19Again, some people are going to go, Oh, it's blasphemy, you know, it was how
- 21:22it came and born from the factories.
- 21:24I should keep it.
- 21:24Well, you know, it goes back to that.
- 21:27It's just, well, they didn't make that many of the six speed manufactured cars.
- 21:30There's only so many amounts are going around.
- 21:32So it's like, what do you do?
- 21:34So again, Hey, do you get the conversion done?
- 21:36You go by, you know, get the EAG route or, you know, Hey, you just,
- 21:40you pony up and you're paid for one that was that way from the factory.
- 21:43I think more and more.
- 21:45You are going to find it that much more difficult to find the factory six speeds
- 21:50or you're going to pay through the nose for them where the swaps become more
- 21:54viable and a alternative choice just because one cost, you know, like I was
- 21:59saying before, the product that EAG have produced and the engineering quality
- 22:05that they've done, they perfected it, the tolerances are tighter than the factory.
- 22:08It's a lot more tight.
- 22:10It's it feels tighter.
- 22:12Not saying that the factory 6 speeds are sloppy or anything like that.
- 22:16They're great to look.
- 22:17Click, click, click, click, click, click, click, um, noise on those.
- 22:22But it's from my understanding and from everyone I've spoken
- 22:26to is just the engineering level is to the, I mean, to the moon.
- 22:30It's, it's a tremendous and you know, it's.
- 22:35Having the parts whatnot.
- 22:36Yeah, so again, you're gonna the little shift light thing, you know,
- 22:38what gear in won't work But that's okay, but you got your gear selector.
- 22:42You got that chrome ball sticking out.
- 22:44It's just beautiful.
- 22:46And I know I Not sure I know on some of their little ones AG was at was etching
- 22:51or wasn't etching their name into the gate where the you know Lever sticks
- 22:56out of some have it some don't so I don't know how that operates if you
- 23:00know if you can ask what or not, but hey You can always go on my eBay, which
- 23:06I said, I don't like, but you can go on the Ferrari chat, all these places.
- 23:10They have parts and stuff.
- 23:10You can just find one and swap it out.
- 23:12I mean, it's just going to bolt on, bolt off because it's the same size.
- 23:14Because those cars, obviously when they were built, they were
- 23:17kind of set up to go both ways.
- 23:19So you have everything there for it.
- 23:21So, and the clutch pedal hang, everything like that.
- 23:24So it's all there.
- 23:25So it's not like it's going to have to be something custom made.
- 23:28You can just swap out the factory parts for it for aesthetic reasons, if you like.
- 23:33But anyways.
- 23:34That's my thoughts on that.
- 23:36I'm curious to see what you guys think, you know, hey, you know, put a message
- 23:40below, shoot me an email, William at the Ferrari Marketplace dot com.
- 23:43Let me know your thoughts and see what you guys think.
- 23:45I'm really curious to know what everyone out there feels about these
- 23:48manual swap cars and their thoughts.
- 23:50And, and if, hey, if you have the wherewithal, you
- 23:55know, would it bother you?
- 23:56Would you want to factor away?
- 23:57What did manual swap bother you?
- 23:59So I'm curious to see what everyone thinks.
- 24:01So shoot me an email, let me know.
- 24:02I have a feeling we might talk about this some more.
- 24:05But anyway guys, hey, I really appreciate you listening.
- 24:08Keep a lookout for the YouTube channel.
- 24:10There's already some stuff out there.
- 24:11It's Garage 65.
- 24:13Uh, that's, you know, it's the word 60 then the number 5.
- 24:16So look up Garage 65.
- 24:18I'm trying to get that all tweaked out.
- 24:20They have some number apps right now, so I'm trying to get the number eliminated.
- 24:22You're supposed to be able to do that somehow, someway.
- 24:25Check it out.
- 24:26Um, like I said, I'm going to try and get this to more of a
- 24:29weekly format here on this stuff.
- 24:31Uh, get some other topics going, you know, talk about some old race stuff.
- 24:34Uh, talk about some of the new stuff coming out.
- 24:37I know we already talked about the Puro Seng and it's kind of growing on me.
- 24:40So, um, yeah, I have a lot more talk to him.
- 24:42Like I said, I'm hoping to get some more, get some, get some more, get some
- 24:46guests maybe to come on and chit chat.
- 24:48Um, I just did a podcast with the other guys over at Garage Ride
- 24:51the other week with, uh, Colleen Sheehan from Ferrari's Online.
- 24:54That was a great one.
- 24:55It was a good time.
- 24:56Check out garage riot.
- 24:57Uh, they got some great content, uh, great podcasts on there, uh, and listening up.
- 25:02So they got some good stuff too.
- 25:03So everything's posted up on the exoticcarmarketplace.
- 25:07com website.
- 25:09Uh, there's links everywhere on those team too for all these for mine
