- 0:30Welcome to the tree house, the place where you can leave your worries outside
- 0:35and come inside the tree house and enjoy yourself, even if just for a
- 0:39little bit, like if you're having trouble internetting, which is apparently the hell
- 0:48that Raj Sharma is currently in. He is in so deep an internet hell
- 0:53he cannot figure out how to sign into the show to do the show because
- 0:57he keeps depending on Jankie hotel WiFi. We got to get him one of
- 1:03those Internet cubes trick. Yeah. Do we even know where he is?
- 1:11I don't know, so at this point, I'm just going to envision Raj
- 1:14as being stuck in a van down by the river next to Chris Farley's corpse.
- 1:21I clearly think he's not in a major metropolitan area because I can't imagine
- 1:27in this day and age you would have much of a problem with Wi Fi.
- 1:33You wouldn't think. But he has found a way. Yeah, is
- 1:38this and I have to ask myself this question now that I have reached a
- 1:42certain age technology or is an age? Let's be honest, Tray, there's
- 1:48a third There's a third thing in there that you're not mentioning. What intelligence.
- 1:59It was very sweet of you not to bring it up, but I
- 2:01feel like I feel like it's my duty to bring up those issues. Well,
- 2:06I don't like to infer them, you know, telling myself I'm a
- 2:07dumb ass. I know it already. You don't want to necessarily project that
- 2:12onto other people, right, And here's the thing. We're all we're all
- 2:15pretty smart guys. We have moments of stupidity on right now. You know,
- 2:19you know you're admitting to yours. I freely admit to mine. And
- 2:22uh, we're trying to figure out what Raja's level is. But if he
- 2:29can jump on, he will. If not, then you know it's it's
- 2:31still still a treehouse magic, which is what it is. The sad thing
- 2:37is that he's gonna miss out because I have some good stuff today. Trade.
- 2:43Do you know where Sillsby, Texas is? I want to say it's
- 2:51down by Euston. That that actually is correct, so I was able to
- 2:55learn I actually okay, I want to say still Texas is where Eric Dickerson
- 3:00is from. Well look it up, Tray, don't leave me hanging.
- 3:06I'm genuinely curious now because up until just a you know, a couple of
- 3:12days ago, I had never heard of Silsby, Texas. And the reason
- 3:15why I now know of Silsby, Texas is because a very very strange animal
- 3:20attacks story occurred there recently. Sorry, Eric Dickerson is from Seeley, Texas.
- 3:28Were you Seeley? Silsby's Okay, so I guess words sound wise it
- 3:35might be close, but I wonder if it's even in the same vicinity of
- 3:38Texas as Silsby. Alright, let me see if I can see where Sillsby
- 3:43is. Are you busting out your old man spectacles? Yep, So Sillsby,
- 3:47Texas is sort of due east of Houston. You know how, like
- 3:53all the weird stuff happens typically in Florida. Yes, other states will try
- 3:57to compete, and they always fall short. Because Florida is just is the
- 4:00absolute epitome of where crazy and stupid goes to live and die. They own
- 4:04it and this is a great example of that. Now, this is not
- 4:09any individual's fault. This is one of those just random stories that I'm still
- 4:14kind of stunned by it, and because it's so random and so odd,
- 4:17it has me questioning the authenticity of it. This is actually from our friends
- 4:23at w FAA who lifted it from one of their affiliates, and I think
- 4:26Houston. Tell me if you've ever heard of a scenario like this, as
- 4:29sealsby woman says she feels lucky to be alive after she was attacked by a
- 4:33snake and a hawk. Peggy Jones was mowing the grass of her property when
- 4:38a snake fell from the sky. Good evening, everyone, I'm Brenda Mattuti.
- 4:43As a snake gripped her arm, Jones says, a hawk swooped down
- 4:46and started viciously attacking her. So I'm as a porta. Gloria Walker spoke
- 4:50with Jones tonight, Gloria, this wild animal attack really came out of nowhere,
- 4:57That's right, Brenda. Peggy Jones says this can only be described as
- 5:00a freak incident, and now she always keeps a vigil an eye on the
- 5:03sky. Scary, very traumatic. Mowing the lawn is something Peggy Jones does
- 5:10on a regular basis, but in late July, when she reached the middle
- 5:14of the property, she says she got a surprise no one could be prepared
- 5:16for. A snake dropped from the sky. He wrapped his self around me.
- 5:20As I was slinging my arm and wouldn't come off. And as this
- 5:25is going on, there's a hawk coming down trying to get him. And
- 5:30as I'm trying to sling the snake off, the snake is striking me in
- 5:32my eyes. He struck in her face. SA the snake started coiling around
- 5:38her arm tightly, leaving her bruised, only to be met by a hawk
- 5:41who was coming to retrieve its lunch. It was a full on battle between
- 5:44the three of them. Peggy was fighting for her life. About the first
- 5:47time, the hawk got the snake and carried it away, and I looked
- 5:55down and I was covered in blood. We decided to blur these photos based
- 5:59on the severity Peggy's wounds. Peggy's husband rushed her to the emergency room,
- 6:02where doctors say the snake didn't get a chance to bite her. I have
- 6:06cuts and scratches and punctures covering my arm. I have severe bruising on my
- 6:13arm, and I'm still I still have open wounds. While Peggy is still
- 6:17recovering, she says she is thankful for community support ever since she shared her
- 6:21story. I'd like to thank everyone. I haven't got to comment back on
- 6:26all of them. It just got overwhelming I'm sorry. I would like to
- 6:30thank everyone for all the prayers it concerns. It's been a overwhelming experience and
- 6:40I just thankful that up alive. Okay, so here we have the scenario.
- 6:49Let me recap this briefly. In Sillsby, Texas, a lovely old
- 6:56lady is out mowing the lawn and while she's mowing, the lawn falls from
- 7:00the sky lands on her and starts to coil itself around her arm. And
- 7:05almost immediately after this snake lands upon her. The hawk that was supposedly carrying
- 7:14the snake comes down to retrieve its lunch and in the process attacks the woman,
- 7:19and the snake is attacking the woman as well. And now it's sort
- 7:23of like she's caught in the middle. And I have questions. I have
- 7:28so many questions, Torey. The first of which is why is her husband
- 7:31not the one mowing the lawn? There's that there. I mean, I'm
- 7:40just trying to put myself in mentally there of going You're out mowing the lawn,
- 7:45it's Texas, it's hot, it's miserable to begin with, and all
- 7:47of a sudden you look at your like there's a snake biting you know,
- 7:51just fell from the sky wrapped around your arms, and you're looking up and
- 7:56going, God, what have I done? Why have you forsaken me?
- 7:58This? What is the this is the worst thing? Oh crap? Yeah.
- 8:05Right, as she looks up for an answer, for an answer from
- 8:07God is when the hawk comes down and smacks her in the face with its
- 8:09talents. I mean, if there is ever a woman who there was a
- 8:13story five years from now that said, Yo, she's afraid to leave the
- 8:16house, I can understand why. Yeah. So my second question with this
- 8:20scenario is how do you not have a ring camera so we can all see
- 8:24this? You're running back and forth in the in the yard with a hawk
- 8:28on your head and a snake on your arm as you're waving it around like
- 8:31some sort of freakish gauntlet. Put a GoPro on the moor. God,
- 8:37you know talking be able to retire with that video. Yeah, It's like
- 8:43at this point she needs to do yardwork. Whenever she does yardwork, she
- 8:46needs to make sure she has a bodycam like a police officer on man.
- 8:52Maybe some kevlar and a helmet. Apparently, so the questions I had were
- 8:58wise. The husband not mowing the lawn because even though it's a twenty first
- 9:03century, and because the husband knows that stuff drops from the sky and it
- 9:07sells me. Oh, I didn't think about that. Maybe this is maybe
- 9:11this has come up and for her, maybe the last time her husband mowed
- 9:16the lawn, a snake fell from the sky and a snake came down to
- 9:18get it and attacked him, and she didn't believe him, and he said,
- 9:22fine, you get your ass out out there and mow the lawn.
- 9:26And then this happens and she walks inside covered in blood and feathers, and
- 9:33he says, I told you so. Yep. Yeah. He even bought
- 9:39her that fancy riding lawnmower. Just right. That's not that wasn't a fancy
- 9:43lawnmower. That's an attack magnet. It's an East Texas attack magnet. Yeah
- 9:50that's good. I mean, I you're riding along, you're mowing your yard.
- 9:54You're just in your own zone. I mean, a snake dropping from
- 9:58the sky that would be alone, just enough to just soil yourself and end
- 10:05it all. You have to question what have I done to deserve this?
- 10:11Is this the rapture? And did the Bible lie to me about the rapture,
- 10:18because my interpretation of the biblical rapture was you dying more like a Jedi.
- 10:22You just disappear in your clothes, stay in a pile, or this
- 10:28is how Satan's draft. You're like, oh, oh, first team,
- 10:35congratulation. You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online at Treehouse on Air
- 10:46dot com. Let's get Rodney Anderson into the Treehouse right now. His phone
- 11:05number nine seven two eight five fifty two hundred, the website Rodney Anderson dot
- 11:09com. You know, Rodney, I saw on the news the other day
- 11:11that we are now past the one trillion dollar mark in credit card debt in
- 11:18this country, and everywhere I look at just has that feeling that people are
- 11:22strapped. So I'm wondering, then, what can you do? And who
- 11:26are the people that need to be calling you for help? Yeah, a
- 11:28lot of people are looking at cash out refinances for several different reasons. The
- 11:33number one reason is to get out of credit card debt. And you have
- 11:35to ask yourself out of that trillion dollars of debt, how much are you
- 11:39contributing to that? Is it thirty thousand, fifty thousand, seventy five thousand.
- 11:43Another report out dan is saying that people are taking more hardship withdrawals out
- 11:50of their four O one k's or I ras than ever before. And what
- 11:54happens is most people don't realize there's penalties, there's interest, there's taxes do
- 12:01on a lot of that stuff. So one thing I tell people up front,
- 12:03you don't want to get in trouble with the IRS. We have a
- 12:07gentleman doing a cash out REFI right now who's paying off two hundred thousand dollars
- 12:11of IRS debt that's just been accumulating for years, penalties and interest on those
- 12:16things. And then lastly, student loan debt is starting. Student loan payments
- 12:22are starting October first. You're seeing all over the news, so between credit
- 12:26cards, IRS debt in four or one case stuff and the third there.
- 12:31I mean, you're just seeing people racked up in debt. And we have
- 12:35people call us they've got good to excellent credit, a lot of equity in
- 12:39their home, and they're looking to do a cash out refinance. And we're
- 12:41just helping so many of our listeners. And that's something that Rodney can do
- 12:46for you as well. He's been in the business over forty years. He's
- 12:48seen pretty much everything the market can throw at you, and so he knows
- 12:52how to navigate these waters and point you in the right direction. So give
- 12:54him a call nine seven two fifty two hundred before that debtade really really really
- 13:00out of control nine seven tift two hundred or Rodney Anderson dot com. And
- 13:05if m Lending is an equal housing lender A three thousand Village Parkway Suite four
- 13:07hundred, Higland Village, Texas and mlist two three two nine. Listen to

- 13:46a call for that free roof inspection to find out if the roof you have
- 13:50over your head survived the last storm and if it's ready for the next one
- 13:52that will happen rain, wind, hail, and as we also learned from
- 13:58Daniel Cook from the Cook d F you Roothing and Restoration. The sun also
- 14:01plays a role in basically melting some of the shindoles on your roof, so
- 14:07it decreases the life of your roof. So give them a call. Look,
- 14:09come check it out, and they'll be honest with you about what they
- 14:11find. A three three cook d f W still recovering at the thought of
- 14:18Satan's draft and being drafted in the first round when a snake falls on your
- 14:24head while mowing the lawn in East Texas. Honestly, if you really did
- 14:28you ever see Little Nikki, the Adam Sandler movie where he plays the son
- 14:33of the Devil, I'm going to say I believe I did, but it
- 14:37was so long ago. I remember very little of it, and I remember
- 14:39not liking it. Well, there's there's at the end, there's you know,
- 14:43a deal of yeah, and Henry Winkler comes out the fawns and they're
- 14:48like, hey, this is the lovable Henry Winkler attacked by a swarm of
- 14:52bees. And it really does sound like an end of an Adam Saidler movie.
- 14:56There's the lovely Henry Winkler attacked by a snake from the sky with a
- 15:00chase. Again. Yeah, the like when you read about the you know,
- 15:05the end of days and everything in the Bible. You know, it
- 15:07tells you like all the plagues that are going to happen. You know,
- 15:09it's the locusts and the frogs and the whatevers, and and and then all
- 15:13of a sudden, nature, Mother Nature seems to have a little more of
- 15:18a creative street kinner or Satan, whatever it is, I don't know.
- 15:22But whoever's making snakes drop from the sky, I too would question many,
- 15:26many things about about my life, and definitely about my faith. But it
- 15:31did offer up the opportunity trade for me to learn about a town in Texas
- 15:35I had never heard about. And I like learning new things in general,
- 15:39but I especially like learning new things about random towns in our great nation.
- 15:45And even you know, uh sort of bonus points if that random town is
- 15:48in Texas. So, before this snake story happened, I had never heard
- 15:54of Silsby, Texas. So I looked at it on a map, did
- 15:56a little research, and I see that it's you know, it's east of
- 16:00it's east of Houston. It's just north of Beaumont. Hey, I know
- 16:03some of the lives in Beaumont right now, not willingly anyone know if anyone
- 16:10willingly lives in Beaumont, no matter which side of the walls you're on.
- 16:14Yeah, uh so, Sillsby, Texas. It's in Hardin County, twenty
- 16:21one miles north of Beaumont, population six thousand, nine hundred thirty five according
- 16:26to the twenty twenty census. It is it is part of the Beaumont Port
- 16:30Arthur metropolitan area. I feel like we're starting to use metropolitan area a little
- 16:34too loosely as a term. Yeah, it's like Beaumont Port author Port Arthur
- 16:40metro area. If you've ever been to Beaumont. There is nothing metropolitan about
- 16:45Beaumont. And and keep in mind that Sillsby is an outlier of Beaumont,
- 16:52so you know, it's really not a metropolitan area. But I did notice
- 16:55there's a little town to the west of Sillsby that I think that I think
- 17:00he would have some knowledge on, and that town seems to be called Kuntz,
- 17:04Texas. Can I have a spelling please, sir, you can,
- 17:11but it's funnier if I don't spell funny of you use it in the sentence.
- 17:18Trey has dated many and women from Kuntz, Texas, while also keeping
- 17:29in mind when interviewed those same women from Kuntz Texas that dated Trey also said
- 17:34Trey was from Koot's Texas. Yeah, apparently the roads to Kount's Texas are
- 17:41are two way trade. I feel like you could create a mad libs with
- 17:48that one. I feel like we kind of just yeah, yeah, that
- 17:52asks that would be a fun road trip game. And so what what else
- 18:02did you find out about Koot's Texas? Well? I was originally researching Sillsby,
- 18:07and once I saw Koont's Texas near Sillsby, I thought of you,
- 18:10and then I stopped researching altogether. I would be like, well, okay,
- 18:12yeah, it's I'm now I'm now totally distracted on where all of Tree's
- 18:17ex girlfriends come from. How big is Koot's Texas Not as big as you
- 18:25would think? Oh man, I feel like moments like these we need parental
- 18:36supervision. Yeah, we really do. The unfortunate thing is I don't want
- 18:40my mom around when I'm telling my friends information about Koont's Texas. But then
- 18:45again, if I if I'm not saying that, never mind. Uh So
- 18:52I did a little show, like a little little city research, and that
- 18:55was interesting. So I found Koont's Texas, which now I feel like we
- 18:57need to get shirts made for for Koon's Texas, Like I've got an X,
- 19:03I need to drive down there and go, I'm just taking you home,
- 19:06baby. I wonder if that's what happened between Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson,
- 19:14because the story was that when they broke up, they broke up I
- 19:17think somewhere in Temple, Texas, and he basically stopped the car as they
- 19:22were driving back from Austin back to DFW, and he's like, get out,
- 19:25and he left her at the I think it was the Eyehop in Temple.
- 19:29Maybe he was actually on his way to Koons to take her home and
- 19:33he had he couldn't even make it. He's like, you're you're you're done
- 19:36here, You're getting out at the Eyehop. I forgot, totally forgot that.
- 19:42That's one of those great stories about the lore of being a Dallas Cowboy
- 19:47that I have not heard, because when you're at Dallas Cowboy you always hear
- 19:49these great stories. You know, whether it's the White House days back in
- 19:52the early nineties when you know the Cowboys were winning, you know, when
- 19:56the Cowboys were a dynasty. You hear about the glory days on the sixties
- 20:00and seventies of Cowboys winning a couple of Super Bowls, and you get you
- 20:04know, Stabok and Lily and all those great Randy White, all those great
- 20:08legendary names, and out of that you get the great stories like Roger Staubach
- 20:14and Drew Pearson creating what everyone now knows as the Hill Mary Play. But
- 20:21we also get those behind the scenes, Like we get those behind the scenes
- 20:23stories like the Hill Mary or Nate Newton driving weed across the border multiple times
- 20:30of getting caught for it. Those behind the scenes stories. I want to
- 20:33know about the behind the scenes story of Tony Romo dumping Jessica Simpson on the
- 20:37side of thirty five. Yeah, that's I just I want to hear about,
- 20:44like the five minutes of audio in the car leading up to that point,
- 20:48because I mean, it's one thing for me or someone else to get
- 20:53to that point. But if you're you're Tony Romo, you are the quarterback
- 20:57of the Dallas Cowboys, you are it's such a high profile spot and you're
- 21:03dating someone who potentially hasn't even higher profile, especially at that time you're weighing
- 21:11the options and it is so bad that you can't wait to get her home
- 21:15the coots. You just gotta just get the f out this get out.
- 21:21Yeah, I'm with you. I want I wish there. I wish he
- 21:26had dash cam. I wish Tony Roma had a dash cam in that car
- 21:30so we could hear the argument between him and Jessica Simpson. He eventually just
- 21:36says get out, get out, get out, get out, or she
- 21:41says I'm so mad, I'm getting out, and he just says, okay,
- 21:45yeah, oh yeah, what are if? What if they're going driving
- 21:49up thirty five. She's trying to open the door. You know what,
- 21:56I don't think it's as me playing Tony Roma here. It's like, hey
- 22:00baby, I don't think it's safe for you to jump out of the car.
- 22:02So I'm gonna make sure I give you a soft landing. I'm gonna
- 22:04throw you on top of these pancakes at the eye hoop off thirty five and
- 22:08Temple. Oh. So I want to know. I want to watch the
- 22:15thirty for thirty on the Tony Romo Jessica Simpson breakup. That's a documentary I
- 22:21want to see. Yeah, that is absolutely one, because I mean that
- 22:25every male female we've all been in the car with a significant other where you
- 22:32just you want to get away, like one way or the other, either
- 22:36you can jump out or they jump out. But but to get to that
- 22:40point, I mean, that's that had to have been a doozy of a
- 22:44fight. I've always been I've always had this thought when it comes to the
- 22:48epic car fight. Stereotypically, you the guy, are driving, she's in
- 22:53the passenger seat. You get into a really bad fight, and then she
- 22:57starts opening the door saying let me out, here, me on here,
- 23:00I don't want to be in the car with you anymore. And you think
- 23:03to yourself, for the briefest of moments, what if instead of letting her
- 23:07get out of the car, I jump out of the car. And now
- 23:15I've got a driverless vehicle with an extremely mad significant other and I've just done
- 23:22a stuntman roll out of the driver's side door. Is that is that?
- 23:29Is that one upsmanship taken too far? Saying it's like you know what,
- 23:33no, no, no, no, you don't get to get out of
- 23:34the car. I want out of the car so much so I don't even
- 23:37want to drive anymore, especially if she was bitching about his driving. Then
- 23:42it makes it all the funnier like my driving. You drive, see if
- 23:48you can hop over this console and you were, you were, Jesus,
- 23:52better take the wheel, but watch out for what things may fall from the
- 24:00sky. You'll listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online that Treehouse on air
- 24:18dot com. Time now to welcome into the Treehouse. Daniel Cook from Cook
- 24:27DFW Roofing and Restoration. The phone number that you can use to get that
- 24:32free roof inspection is eight three three Cook DFW. The website cook dfw dot
- 24:37com. So, Daniel, I know you're outside a lot as a roofer.
- 24:40That means you're on roofs a lot in this heat. Ever had anybody
- 24:45call you because they're roof melted? Dan, Not exactly, but pretty close.
- 24:48We've been on some roofs that you would not leave how much the shingles
- 24:53have cracked and separated and started to literally disintegrate on some of these homes.
- 24:59And it's scary because a lot of people had no idea that actually heat can
- 25:03ruin your roof. Just like you know, everybody's always panicking about hail and
- 25:07wind, but the sun and the heat that we get here in North Texas
- 25:11is damaging very much to our roofs, and so even if you do not
- 25:15think you have damage, you need to get your roof inspected annually. And
- 25:19that was one of the biggest reasons. Why is the heat that we have
- 25:22here. Nothing can sustain it long term. So you gotta protect your home
- 25:27and do yourself a favor. Call us out. We love to check it.
- 25:30If you have these type of damages, we can at least alert you
- 25:33to them before they get worse. And that's why it's such a great thing
- 25:37that cook DFW Roofing and Restoration offers that free roof inspection. Like Daniel said,
- 25:41they'll come out take a look and not cost you anything to do so,
- 25:45so give them a call eight three three cook DFW. That's eight three
- 25:48three cook dfw, or that website cook dfw dot com is a sunline,
- 25:53that treehouse flare dot com. Let's get Jacqueline from brooks Plum into the treehouse
- 26:00now their phone number two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight.
- 26:03The websitebrooks Plumbing Texas dot com. The other day we were discussing Oliver,
- 26:07who's your journeyman plumbers? And I think most people don't understand what that means.
- 26:11They hear journeyman that they think you're just kind of running around company.
- 26:15The company is almost like a freelance. But that's not the case, right,
- 26:18No. I mean, if you want to go into the trade,
- 26:19any trade, especially if it's a license trade, the first thing you should
- 26:22do is find the governing department. We're governed by the Texas State Board of
- 26:26Plumbing Examiners, which is a department of the Texas government, and you have
- 26:32to have a certain amount of hours in the field hands on experience to qualify,
- 26:36to go to state to take the test to essentially level up. It's
- 26:40kind of like catching a mushroom or a star and I'm playing Mario. To
- 26:44become a licensed plumber, I've said this before, you actually have to have
- 26:48more time in the field to test than you do to become a commercial airline
- 26:52pilot. And a lot of plumbers just kind of get stuck. They'll fill
- 26:56out the apprentice card and they'll never apply to go test anywhere. They'll never
- 27:00they'll never move up. A journeyman plumber is the sweet spot because a lot
- 27:03of people are nervous about working with the master plumber because they're nervous that they're
- 27:07going to overpay. But every plumbing company in the state of Texas has to
- 27:11have a responsible master plumber to be operational. So if you don't see what
- 27:15I call an M number on the truck, it's going to be M and
- 27:18then some series of numbers either four or five. That means that they're they're
- 27:22not licensed. And so you should be weary of somebody's truck who pulls up
- 27:26to your house that doesn't have an M number on it. Jacqueline will teach
- 27:30me and you anything and everything about plumbing given the opportunity. And this is
- 27:33why I love having her in the treehouse, because I like knowing things and
- 27:37I like to make sure that I'm not being taken advantage of or I'm not
- 27:40having the wrong person or the wrong company into my home. And that's why
- 27:44we brought him in here in the treehouse. Give him a call two one,
- 27:47four, three six eight thirty eight thirty eight or Brooks Plumbing Texas dot
- 27:49com. You're in book treehouse, visit us online a treehouse dot com.
- 28:07Welcome back into the tree House. This segment brought to you by Brooks Plumbing
- 28:12their phone number two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. That's
- 28:17two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbing
- 28:19Texas dot com. They recently came to my house in Texas to take care
- 28:23of a pretty bad leak we had underneath the house. They had that thing
- 28:29fixed in under thirty six hours, which contributed to getting rid of the roaches
- 28:33that were coming up and terrifying my wife. So thank you, thank you
- 28:41very much to Brooks Plumbing wife, which then terrorizes you. That absolutely it
- 28:47does when the roaches terrorized Terra and then Terra terrorizes me to go terrorize the
- 28:51roaches and ruins my night. Yeah, that is a vicious circle. It's
- 28:56a vicious, vicious circle one that Uh, I did consider fire to end
- 29:02it all, but thanks to Brooks Plumbing, didn't have to go that route.
- 29:07Speaking of routes, just just tell hey, you just sent her out
- 29:11and go, hey, you go mo. I think the funniest thing about
- 29:18that, Trey is uh, is you thinking I would tell my wife what
- 29:22to do? No, it's funny for us to say I know him will
- 29:26because I wouldn't do it either. No, definitely not keep me you think
- 29:33that hawk and the snake had it out for that old lady in Silsby,
- 29:37Texas. You have not seen my wife? You tell her what to do
- 29:41once? Yeah, that that lady just had some scratch marks. Yeah,
- 29:48you're gonna come back from Tara with dent. You're gonna look like you went
- 29:52through a hail storm. All right. So if you're wondering, hey,
- 29:59what in a rage, Well, if you miss it somehow, arrage was
- 30:02having audio or not audio. He's having technical difficulties. But Trey, I
- 30:04think you found a very solid solution for him. Yes, yes, evidently
- 30:07he's in Basstrip, Texas. So I looked it up. I sent him
- 30:11the link to the best Buy and Basstrip and I said, go buy an
- 30:14Ethernet chord so you can hard wire yourself in. That's right, just a
- 30:19nice chord. Because even I've got that I'm on an island in the middle
- 30:25of the Caribbean, and I did a speed test before the show, and
- 30:27I've got like a hundred something download and twenty something up using a wire.
- 30:34Yeah, and so if I'm getting that speed on an island in the middle
- 30:38of the Caribbean, Basstrip has to have at least the same speeds. Yes,
- 30:44you would think so, you would think minute just outside of Austin.
- 30:48Yeah, a major tech hub in the middle of the country. Yeah,
- 30:53I'm pretty sure they got some decent internet in Bastrup. Before we before we
- 30:59exit the treehouse today, though, there was something I wanted to share with
- 31:03you, Trey, and that was last night. Tara and I were on
- 31:08St. John for a wedding and as we were coming back across the bay
- 31:15it's Pillsbury Sound between Saint Thomas and Saint John. As we're on the people
- 31:18ferry coming back from Saint John over to Saint Thomas. We at night like
- 31:23to go on top of the ferry where it's sitting on top. It's like
- 31:26a convertible boat, right, or it's not a convert you're just sitting on
- 31:30top. So we're sitting on top of the ferry last night looking up at
- 31:33the stars because it's like eight o'clock, nine o'clock and it's dark here at
- 31:36that time. In Texas it's still sunlight in one hundred and twenty, but
- 31:38in the rest of the world it's more normal stuff. So we're looking up
- 31:42at the sky. I can see Scorpio off to my left, to the
- 31:47southern sky. Looked to the right, I see a shooting star and then
- 31:49all of a sudden, I see a string of lights strewn across the sky.
- 31:55And everyone on the boat starts seeing it incrementally, and as you see,
- 31:59their finger or start to point up at the sky and everyone immediately starts
- 32:02thinking the same thing. Aliens and then Terrace seas and she asked, She's
- 32:08like, do you see those? Like, yeah, I see those.
- 32:09She's like, what are those? What are those? And I think I
- 32:14think those are the Starlink satellites. Okay, I'm pretty sure those are the
- 32:20Starlink satellites. And which are which are so the Starlink satellites the company owned
- 32:27by Elon Musk and so I did a quick research to see if that was
- 32:32in fact the case, and I am glad to report that Fox four,
- 32:37our friends at Fox four actually had a story recently where it said, yes,
- 32:42the positioning is such that you'll be able to look up into the night
- 32:45sky and see the Starlink satellites crossing overhead. And they even gave a breakdown
- 32:51of what times you'd be able to see them on different days. Okay,
- 32:57okay, So it seems like it was confirmed. We look up into the
- 33:00night sky. They're Starlink satellites. They're not UFOs. But this was the
- 33:02interesting part about them. Have you ever seen a regular satellite crossed the night
- 33:08sky? I mean, I assume so, so you can usually you can
- 33:16usually see a satellite crossing the night sky. It looks similar to the International
- 33:21Space Station. If you've ever seen that cross it'll basically start whatever wherever you
- 33:24see it, it'll keep crossing over the Earth and it just continues until it's
- 33:30out of sight because of an obstruction or the horizon. Right. Well,
- 33:35last night, as we're watching the Starlink satellites, they didn't cross behind an
- 33:40obstacle tour. We couldn't see them. They didn't cross over the horizon to
- 33:44where they disappear. Instead, about halfway across the night sky, those satellites
- 33:49disappeared as almost as if they went behind something, but there was nothing there.
- 33:53So then I started thinking, oh, yeah, what if that's a
- 33:55space ship that's blocking the view. Or is it possible that Elon Musk has
- 34:05figured out cloaking technology and has deployed it with his satellites in space? I
- 34:12mean, I guess it's possible. Why Why would he want to cloak his
- 34:15satellite. Maybe he doesn't want visiting species to see them and steal the technology.
- 34:22I don't know. We'd have to get him on the show and ask
- 34:24him. But like satellites are like pink flamingos in their yard and he's trying
- 34:30to make him look better. It could be he's trying to dress up the
- 34:34Earth or a little bit or something. But the other thing we're inviting.
- 34:39But the thing I worry about with if Elon Musk does in fact have this
- 34:45vanishing technology that he's using on his satellites in space so we don't see them
- 34:51on Earth, is the problem with great technology and great power comes responsibility.
- 34:57And I'm afraid that he's now using this same vanishing technology in his other businesses,
- 35:04like on Twitter, where Twitter users seem to be vanishing without a chase
- 35:07as well. Yeah, but a big X where things used to be.
- 35:17Yeah, all right, thanks for hanging out with us in the Treehouse to
