- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie in his time right now for
- 0:03Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer, And as always
- 0:06Speaker 1: I invite you to join along with me in prayer.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And someone left me.
- 0:11Speaker 2: A message and they were talking about the words that
- 0:14Speaker 2: were spoken to them and spoken over to them by
- 0:17Speaker 2: somebody they loved and trusted. And I just want to
- 0:20Speaker 2: pray about us carrying the weight of those words. Heavenly Father,
- 0:24Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus Christ, today we come before
- 0:28Speaker 2: you carrying the weight of words, words that were spoken
- 0:32Speaker 2: over us, words that cut deep, words that tried to
- 0:37Speaker 2: define us in ways that.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You never intended. Lord, you heard every word, the harsh tones,
- 0:45Speaker 1: the careless words, the one spoken in anger, rejection and misunderstanding,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and even the ones that we've repeated to ourselves over
- 0:56Speaker 1: and over. Father. Some of those words left wars. They
- 1:01Speaker 1: shaped how we see ourselves. They made us question our
- 1:04Speaker 1: own worse and value. They plant seeds of doubt, insecurity
- 1:09Speaker 1: and fear. But today Lord, we bring those words to you,
- 1:13Speaker 1: heal us God from the damage they cause. Uproot every
- 1:18Speaker 1: lie that has taken root in our hearts, the lie
- 1:21Speaker 1: that we're not good enough, the lie that will never
- 1:23Speaker 1: measure up the lie that we're defined by our mistakes
- 1:27Speaker 1: so someone else's opinion. Father, remind us of your truth.
- 1:32Speaker 1: We are not what others say we are. We are
- 1:36Speaker 1: who you say we are. We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
- 1:39Speaker 1: We are chosen. We are love. We are accepted. We
- 1:43Speaker 1: are not rejected. We are redeemed. We are not broken
- 1:47Speaker 1: beyond repair, We are being restored. Lord, help us to
- 1:51Speaker 1: release the power those words have had over us. We
- 1:55Speaker 1: will no longer carry them. We will not let them
- 1:58Speaker 1: shape our identity. We will not allow them to live
- 2:01Speaker 1: in our future. Every negative word spoken over us, we
- 2:05Speaker 1: cancel it right now, in the name of Jesus. We
- 2:08Speaker 1: replace it with your truth. We silence it with your promises. Father,
- 2:12Speaker 1: speak louder than every voice that tried to tear us down. God,
- 2:16Speaker 1: let your voice be the one that we believe. Let
- 2:19Speaker 1: your word be the standard we live by. Letting your
- 2:22Speaker 1: love rewrite the narrative of our lives. Heal the places
- 2:26Speaker 1: in us God that still flinch when we remember what
- 2:29Speaker 1: was said here, the places that still doubts, still hesitate,
- 2:33Speaker 1: still question. Restore our confidence God, not in people, but
- 2:38Speaker 1: in You. Lord, help us to speak life over ourselves.
- 2:42Speaker 1: When doubt tries to rise, let us declare your truth.
- 2:46Speaker 1: When insecurity tries to return, remind us of our identity.
- 2:51Speaker 1: When all words echo in our minds, replace them with new,
- 2:55Speaker 1: life giving words. God. Today we choose to believe what
- 2:58Speaker 1: you say about us. We are enough because you created us.
- 3:02Speaker 1: We are worthy because you love us. We are valuable
- 3:05Speaker 1: because we belong to you. And no the word against us,
- 3:10Speaker 1: spoken or otherwise, will have the final say. Only your
- 3:14Speaker 1: truth defines us.
- 3:16Speaker 3: And Father, forgive us for the worst that we've spoken
- 3:19Speaker 3: over others, and two others that were harsh and unkind
- 3:23Speaker 3: Help us to repent and be better in Jesus' name.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Amen,
