- 5:13And I tell you, even in the midst of going through I watched you.
- 5:18You continue to press and you continue to be transparent, and you continue
- 5:24to tell people you know that this is life, this is this happens,
- 5:27This happens to all of us, no matter who you are, no matter
- 5:30what title you have, no matter what this happens. And people were transparent,
- 5:38you were real, and that's what we need in this world today.
- 5:44We truly need that. So I tell you I had to get you on
- 5:47this platform because that is what I That's that's what I share that in everything
- 5:53that I do, that's what I share. You know, people got to
- 5:55understand we got to meet people where they are and we can't forget where we
- 6:00came from. You know, we want to be we want everybody to come
- 6:04own in and we want everybody to be right there on that level. But
- 6:09we didn't just get there overnight. It took some time and we had to
- 6:12go through some stuff. And I tell you, I'm gonna move on that
- 6:16the way because I'm telling you I can go and I this ain't about me.
- 6:20This is about you. I tell you you are doing some amazing things
- 6:25and I just need the world to hear about you tonight. Okay, thank
- 6:31you so much. So let me just you know, if you want to
- 6:33share a little bit about me. My story. My story is one of
- 6:38rejection. I am almost fifty four years old and when my parents just to
- 6:45go back a little bit to their quick foundation, and I'm gonna bring it
- 6:46forward in the time span that we have. When when my mother got pregnant
- 6:51with me, my older sister, she was already about nine months old.
- 6:58So this was our third I was the fourth child, and so my mother
- 7:01didn't want me. It was the fourth child for my mother and the second
- 7:04child for my father, so they didn't want another child. They were poor.
- 7:09This is in Jamaica, over fifty years ago. So my mother decided
- 7:13that she was going to have an abortion. Now, abortion in the Islands
- 7:16is taboo, your outcast if anybody finds out that you do anything like that,
- 7:21so they will typically just go to get some herbs, or drink some
- 7:25herbs, or go to a bush doctor and have them whatever they did.
- 7:28Then, so my mother decided that she was going to you know, wash
- 7:32me out. And the night before she did that, she had a dream,
- 7:36woman of God. She dreamt that her grandmother came to her and told
- 7:41her not to halbort me because I'm going to be the one to take care
- 7:45of her. So I literally was saved by a dream the night before my
- 7:49mother was supposed to do away and wash the feet us out. And so
- 7:55I came out of rejection, not because my parents didn't love me, but
- 8:00in their mind they couldn't afford another mouth to feed, so they would have
- 8:05rather not have an extra mouth to feed than to have an extra mode and
- 8:09cannot take care of it. So I grew up into that. That was
- 8:13the fabric of which I was moving into in the natural. And so you
- 8:16know my mother, you know I was born. I was about four years
- 8:20old when my mother and my father split up, And I remember that moment
- 8:24vividly. When my mother and my mother and father started. They were fighting
- 8:30because my father was cheating on my mother. He had another baby. Mother
- 8:33with another baby out there and my mother found out and she was gonna chop
- 8:37in with a machete, so I read. I was about four years old.
- 8:39I got in the middle of them, and I started crying and holding
- 8:43onto my dad's leg, and my mom held the machete, and my dad
- 8:46was trying to take the machete out of her hand, and in the process
- 8:50of him trying to take the machete out of her hand, it sliced her
- 8:54hand. So my mom had a big slice in the middle of her hand.
- 8:58So I lived and I saw that. I saw what you would call
- 9:01abuse. In some sense. I didn't my father wasn't an abuser in terms
- 9:07of physically, but in terms of, you know, the fact that he
- 9:09was cheating on her and all that stuff, that's a form of abuse.
- 9:13So I saw all of that, and in that moment, my sister and
- 9:16now our lives was ripped apart. My mother and my father broke up.
- 9:22In that moment, I remember my father moving out. I was about four
- 9:24or four and a half years old, Angela. That's one of my first
- 9:30memory as a human being. One of my first memory is remembering my mother
- 9:35and my father breaking up, and I was standing on my father's shoes,
- 9:39crying, and I remember that they broke up and we ended up living with
- 9:43my mom and they lived in two separate towns. But my dad used to
- 9:48come and get us on the weekends because my dad is now a police officer
- 9:50in the Islands, and he would come and pick us up on the weekends.
- 9:54And so one particular weekend he came and got us and we spread the
- 9:58Saturday and the Sunday. Sunday afternoon, he was taking us back home.
- 10:01When we got back to my mother's apartment, she rented a house in a
- 10:07city in Kingston. This is in Jamaica. My mother had moved with her
- 10:11new boyfriend. All of my clothes, all of my sister's clothes, everything
- 10:16was gone. We didn't know where our mother went. And so in that
- 10:18moment, again I am no experience in the third time being rejected by parentile
- 10:26rejection the third time. So we ended up now living with my father and
- 10:30a stepmother that didn't want us around. We weren't good enough. So we
- 10:35when I said, we met my sister and I we became the Cinderella in
- 10:39that home. We were the ones that would clean the house, do all
- 10:43the dirty dishes, do everything. When school would open, we wouldn't go
- 10:46to school for three weeks sometimes before we would get to go to school because
- 10:50in the Islands you had to wear a uniform to school, so we didn't
- 10:52get to go to school. So I was shaped in we're just feeling that
- 10:58I don't belong or I was an obligation to those that were supposed to take
- 11:05care of me. But I in my spirit, in my heart, I
- 11:09had a resolve as a young girl that I was gonna become somebody. I
- 11:13was gonna be somebody in this world. I was not going to let and
- 11:18I don't know where that came from, because it wasn't taught. That I
- 11:22was gonna make something up myself, and that was my own goal in life,
- 11:26to become somebody. So I'm fast forwarding a little bit. Living with
- 11:31my dad and my stepmom, you know the worst tree lived like a Cinderella
- 11:35in the home. She didn't take care of us. We didn't get food
- 11:39sometimes even though it was in the house. We had to clean. I
- 11:43remember I went to school for seven point thirty in the morning and I had
- 11:48to clean the front porch, the back porch, the bathroom. Sometimes I
- 11:54had to sweep the front of the yard before I go to school, and
- 11:56I'm talking about cleaning with a brush on my He's rubbing the floor, making
- 12:01sure it shine. And so those are the that's the kind of life that
- 12:05I grew up in. I know what rejection is, but what God did
- 12:09to me in all of that, he gave me a whole level almost like
- 12:15a whole different dimension of compassion towards other people. I have a big compassion
- 12:22for people. I want to always help, Like my heart breaks when I
- 12:26see homeless people on the street or you know I am, I'm quick to
- 12:31help. I've taken my clothes off and I'm given to people before literally,
- 12:35you know, somebody asked me for my outfit, and I stopped in the
- 12:39market buy something else. I gave them the outfit that they wanted. I
- 12:43live a life of giving just because of the just because of the fabric I
- 12:48was created out of. And so as I grew up in life, you
- 12:52know, I was able to come to the United States, and I cut
- 12:54it a lot, because that's like several books before I did get to the
- 12:58United States. But for time sake, got to the United States. And
- 13:03as I'm here, you know, I got married and started a family,
- 13:07and I got saved when I was about twenty five years old, three twenty
- 13:11four, between twenty three and twenty five, I really got saved. Now.
- 13:15My grandfather was a pastor, so I knew church. I grew up
- 13:18in church. But I didn't give my life to the Lord or submit to
- 13:24the will of the Lord until I was about twenty three, or between twenty
- 13:26three and twenty five. But I remember when I gave my life to Christ.
- 13:31I had a good job. I was always a lifelong student, so
- 13:35I was always going to school. And that came from that rejection, the
- 13:41residue of rejection that I had too that I felt like I always had to
- 13:45be achieving something, always doing something, always trying to, you know,
- 13:52aspire to do something. Always I'm always doing something. And I realized at
- 13:58one point at that I need to stop because that was really because of the
- 14:05residue. It's almost like nothing I do was good enough. I always wanted
- 14:07to do more for myself, like nothing that I did was gonna be good
- 14:13enough for me and to the Lord. I had to stop. But anyway,
- 14:16and so God saved the living for the Lord, got married, have
- 14:18three beautiful children, two boys and a beautiful daughter, and just living for
- 14:24the Lord. And several years ago, you know, my I have adult
- 14:31children, they're grown one of them and two of them is married. But
- 14:33I have two buys, my youngest son, which is what I want to
- 14:35own it on about when it comes to rejection. He met this young lady
- 14:41and all of a sudden, he just exchange train, exchanged himself from the
- 14:46family, does not connect to anybody in the family, doesn't talk to any
- 14:50one of us. This is the son that God gave me. This is
- 14:56the son that I was gonna a board and the Lord told me that he's
- 15:01a son and he belongs to him. This is the sun that used to
- 15:05bring me flowers from school. This is the son that made me tea at
- 15:07night to make sure mommy and make sure I've give me a cup of tea
- 15:11put at my bedside. This is the son that used to have Bible study
- 15:13in my house. And this son talking about rejected as no rejected me,
- 15:20rejected our family. He is I'm not sure where he is, don't know
- 15:24where in the world he is at. This boy, don't know what he's
- 15:28doing. And I am just crying out for mothers are our families that have
- 15:33a child that just went apostas or just went rogue and don't know for what
- 15:39reason, but let's actually disconnect themselves from the entire family. And part of
- 15:43that is the rejection that I suffered when it affected me deeply because of the
- 15:52rejection that I came on. So I tried to make sure I gave my
- 15:54children everything. I worked hard. They went to college, the youngest one,
- 15:58he's a nurse, and and just went to past it. And it
- 16:02took me back to my life when I was younger and all the rejections that
- 16:07I went through because I didn't talk about I love them because it would just
- 16:10take too long that I went through, and how when I got pregnant with
- 16:15him, I didn't want another child. I already had my daughter and my
- 16:19son, and when I had when I got pregnant with him, I was
- 16:22married, but I decided I only wanted to so I didn't want another child.
- 16:26And I remember when I found it. When I was pregnant, I
- 16:29myself was going to have an abortion, and then I had an I started
- 16:33spotting, so I went to the doctor and they said that it wasn't an
- 16:37eir topic pregnancy, and I heard the heartbeat. About three weeks old that
- 16:41I heard the baby's heart beat, and I knew that time that it was
- 16:45alive. And I said, Lord, let it be a boy, because
- 16:48I already had a boy and had all the baby clothes. And I laid
- 16:52my hands and my stomach. I was twenty three at the time, and
- 16:56I began to pray with my stomach and I said, God, I give
- 16:59this shall not to you. This one is yours, this one because I
- 17:03wasn't going to keep him, and because you spared his life. If I
- 17:07didn't hear our heart beat, he wouldn't have been here. You spared his
- 17:11life. This one I'm given to you. I'm going to be the caretaker,
- 17:15but he belongs to you. And that is the sum that is now
- 17:19in a past and in an apostle state that has a disconnected himself for everybody.
- 17:26We don't know where he is, what he's doing, we don't know
- 17:27anything about him. And my heart it was just so broken over that that
- 17:33I struggled with that for the last three and a half years. Women of
- 17:37God, because it was no reason for it to happen. He met this
- 17:41young lady and he basically Samson and Delilah, and and that pretty much is
- 17:48that's the that's typically what's going on. It's a Samson and Delilah story all
- 17:52over again. But I'm just praying for mothers out there that maybe I've gone
- 17:56through rejection, that maybe I've gone through some disappointing things in your lives,
- 18:00and they see that now duplicating in the lives of their children, that we
- 18:03have to learn to break the struggle. And even though even though they might
- 18:10have been out there, even though they're out there, we don't know where
- 18:12they are. God knows where they are. Even though we might not know
- 18:17what they're doing, God knows what they're doing. And I'll say to mother's
- 18:22out there, don't stop praying for your son or your daughter, don't stop
- 18:26praying for your children. Do not give upon them, even when they give
- 18:30upon themselves. Because God is not a man. He cannot lie. And
- 18:33whatever he tells you that he's gonna do, he will do it. I
- 18:38gave this sum unto God, just like sam and mother gave him unto the
- 18:44Lord. I gave him unto God. So I know sooner or later he's
- 18:48gonna come full circle. And so sometimes when you've gone to rejection of your
- 18:52own, you begin to wonder if you did something wrong, if you could
- 18:56have did something a little bit better. You begin to basically blame yourself for
- 19:03that because you feel like maybe it's something that you did or that that would
- 19:07have made things be different in the lives of your children. But sometimes when
- 19:11God have an assignment for them, he'll allow them to go. God allowed
- 19:15Moses to wander in the in the widowness for forty years, to break off
- 19:22Egypt off of him, so that he could build him up with in his
- 19:26lifness and in his image. He didn't want. He didn't want Moses to
- 19:30act like he's better than the than the Israelife. He didn't want, so
- 19:33he made him walk to the desert, bearefooted without had to eat things for
- 19:37food for forty years, and then he built him up again. Couldn't be
- 19:44that God have my son out there, going into where he is so that
- 19:48he can understand the language. He said, he's a Jew now, all
- 19:52right, so he can understand that luck so he can go back and minniester
- 19:55to the Jews. What if your daughter, your son is out there creating
- 19:59or making testimony, I'm saying to you, like I say to myself every
- 20:03day, don't give upon your children, even though sometimes you feel like you
- 20:08can see the repetition that happen to you, you see it manifest. You
- 20:12gotta break those those ties, but you still stand that you keep praying for
- 20:18your children. Wow. Wow, I mean that that's heavy and a lot
- 20:30of people need to hear that tonight because a lot of people are going through
- 20:38I'm actually working on a book right now. It is a book for women
- 20:45that are incarcerated. Some of these women have been incarcerated since they were teenagers,
- 20:52fifteen, sixteen, seventeen years old and they're in their forties now and
- 20:59a lot of have lost hope. They don't think that they'll ever see the
- 21:03outside again. And God dropped in my spirit to just encourage them to just
- 21:11just have people to write letters, affirmations, poems or whatever was dropped in
- 21:15a spirit to just encourage these women. To let these women know that they're
- 21:22not alone, that it's people out here that's praying for them, that's that's
- 21:26that's wishing them well, and don't even know them. You know, sometimes
- 21:30people just need to know that, you know, somebody's there with me.
- 21:34You know what I'm saying, praying with me exactly, and you don't even
- 21:37have to know what I'm going through, but we all going through that.
- 21:44We just lived the persons in the county that I live in Florida, and
- 21:51what I find is it's a very trensy and prison. They go in and
- 21:53out and most of them are it's because of substance of boot views or selling
- 21:57drugs or something like that. And what they would tell me is that they
- 22:02said that they are afraid of the free world. I mean, the language
- 22:06that these women use in prison is a whole it's almost like a whole language
- 22:10in and up itself. And they said that they survived better. They prefer
- 22:15to be in prison. The ones that I see, because they don't know
- 22:18how to function in the free world. They're afraid that if they're in the
- 22:22free world, they're gonna run into their their their dope give her again,
- 22:26and they're gonna all their families has turned their backs on them, so that
- 22:30they have nobody but the people that they use drugs with, and so they
- 22:33have they have. They're very hopeless and sometimes when they share their stories,
- 22:37some of them being molested when they were one of them. The father been
- 22:41molested or since she was six years old, right up until she was an
- 22:47adult, he molested her right upon. The parents, they were the ones
- 22:52that started her drug a habbit. They gave her drugs when she were little.
- 22:59She's been taken in drugs since she as long as she can remember.
- 23:02So I hear the heart of the people women of God went when and all
- 23:07of that too. The root of that is rejection. You know, those
- 23:11parents that were dropped somewhere, you know, they were dropped. Nobody picked
- 23:15them up. They had nobody to pick them up or pick them up the
- 23:18right way, and so they grew up in life being dropped, and they
- 23:22themselves don't have children that are dropped, and the cycle continues. And if
- 23:29we don't break that cycle by reaching out to these women and letting them know
- 23:33that they're loved unconditionally, and although they're in prison, although they're in prison
- 23:38physically, they can be free in their mind, you know, because a
- 23:42lot of times we have to be emancipated from the mental slavery. And if
- 23:48we don't emancipate our minds from the natural bars, you know, we won't
- 23:55be free from the spiritual bars. So we have to go back into them
- 23:59and let them know. Although they may they may have perimeters around them,
- 24:03they are free in their spirit, you know, because the Bible said whom
- 24:07the Son said free is free. Indeed, there's a lot of people that
- 24:11are walking in the free world and they are not free. They are bondage
- 24:14in their minds. So many people now have mental health issues. And then
- 24:18there's a lot of people in prison that are very free in their spirit and
- 24:22in their mind. You know, joy is a state of mind. Happiness
- 24:26is a feeling. And you can be in the midst of a fire and
- 24:30have joy, or you can be around a lot of people and you're miserable.
- 24:33You're not happy because you don't have the freedness in your mind. So
- 24:37we have to encourage them and and and there's something that I do when I
- 24:41listen to these women in the prisons. All of them issue is them from
- 24:45rejection. It's even societal rejection, spousal rejection, parental rejection, cultural rejection,
- 24:55some type of rejection is the root of what they're that that's is the
- 25:00genesis of what they're experiencing now. And they're not walking in the results of
- 25:06their actions that started from a rejection. So if we can help, if
- 25:10we can fix the rejective issues, if we can get them and teach them
- 25:17how to overcome rejection, which is what I do a mentor and overcoming rejection.
- 25:22Uh, if you can, if you can get them and teach them
- 25:26how to not internalize the things that happen to them on the outside, not
- 25:30to not to let it become intimately a part of them, and don't see
- 25:36themselves starting to mentor the other day and she said, you're not broken.
- 25:40The situation is broken. So if they could understand that the situation that they've
- 25:45gone through is broken, but they are not broken. They are not broken.
- 25:48They're strong. And build that side of them, Women of God,
- 25:55build that side of them, build up. Let that part the partner is
- 25:57magnified in them and not the trauma that they're gone through. If we can
- 26:03magnify the strength in them and diminish the trauma. Yes, we're not negating
- 26:07the trauma. We're not saying that these things didn't happen to all of us.
- 26:11We are saying that the strength that you have inside of you is much
- 26:17greater than the trauma that you've experienced in a season in your life and the
- 26:22fact that you're living and you still here breathing and gave a body that means
- 26:26God is not through with you yet, and you still have a story to
- 26:30tell, and you can go back and pull somebody else out, pull somebody
- 26:36else out that experienced rejection trauma somewhere and pull them up and said, listen,
- 26:41this is what I've gone through, and look how I'm dealing with it.
- 26:44You know the Lord. The Lord gave me a title of a book
- 26:47about twenty years ago that I haven't written yet. It's called Within the Walls
- 26:52of Destiny. A lot of time society wait until they get to the victory
- 26:56before they share and say, you know, but I used to What about
- 27:00talking about it while you're in it, knowing that the God that you serve
- 27:04can bring you through it. We have to start having people to say,
- 27:08you know what, I'm not there yet, but in the process of me
- 27:14getting there, I'm not gonna give the enemy satisfaction but feeling like I'm a
- 27:18victim, I'm a victor because I'm walking through it. I'm gonna get through
- 27:23this rejection. I've been rejected in many years of my life, but rejection
- 27:29is not my story. I may have gone through rejection, but rejection is
- 27:33not who I am. I am the daughter, I'm a queen. I'm
- 27:37an educated black woman that is on fire for God, that wants to put
- 27:42her sister up and checked the nation by force. That's who I am.
- 27:48I remember Naomi and Ruth. When Naomi and Ruth went back to the city,
- 27:56back to her city, you know, they called her Ruth the moabide,
- 28:03right, and so they attached her name to a stigma of where she
- 28:07came out of, which is paganism, man and child sacrifices, all that
- 28:12stopped, right, So they attached where she came from to her name.
- 28:17They never just say Ruth. They say Ruth the Moabite, Ruth the Moabie.
- 28:22It's like they would say Michelle the Jamaican. So Michelle is not the
- 28:27part that carries the way is the part that I'm Jamaican. And a lot
- 28:30of people think Jamaican. Is this a Jamaican is not? So when you
- 28:33attached me to where I'm coming from, you're not seeing me from me individually.
- 28:38You're classing me in a whole ethnicity or a whole culture or an area.
- 28:44And so they grouped her as Ruth the moabide, but they didn't know
- 28:48that Jesus was gonna come from her lineage. Although she was Pagan by Ruth,
- 28:53Pagan from our family heritage, her life became the Jesus came out of
- 29:00our lineage. So I'm saying, not because these women you know were in
- 29:06prison or because I went to rejection and they may go on to rejections,
- 29:10that doesn't make us. That doesn't identify us. It's a part of our
- 29:14story, but it's not what defines us. And until these women recognize that
- 29:19what you've experienced doesn't define you. It was a there's a doct in your
- 29:26story, it makes the story even better to read because you have overcome,
- 29:32You've gone through it, and you're survived. And we have to stop waiting
- 29:36until we get to the other side to share that. Although I'm not there
- 29:40yet, I might still be behind bars, but I'm free in my mind.
- 29:44I might still be behind bars and I'm facing X amount of time,
- 29:48but let me tell you something, I'm an overcomer and when we begin to
- 29:52share from that place, it will give women people in general more whole.
- 29:56Because I realized, listen, I don't have to wait till I get there
- 30:00to shout, I can shock right now. Wow, I'm telling you you
- 30:11you was all up and I don't know you was all up in my conversation
- 30:15I've been having all this week. I'm telling you. God is so good
- 30:18because this is this is what I try to get people to understand. And
- 30:23sometimes he just had to bring somebody to just just reiterate because somebody in the
- 30:30back didn't hear it. Somebody somebody didn't hear it. And I tell you
- 30:37God is doing something and and and and people need to wake up. They
- 30:42need to wake up and understand who they are are. He didn't make no
- 30:48mistakes, No, he didn't. Latanya has a show call. Delayed,
- 30:52not denied, and and and that's what delayed, not denied. See,
- 31:02people don't understand. Sometimes deny and it's delayed in our eyes. It's right
- 31:07on time for God. That's it, because He will never deny you.
- 31:15Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. He declared that he had a plan for us.
- 31:18He has to say not to bring us home. You know, I've
- 31:22traveled. The Lord has allowed me for the last fifteen years to travel all
- 31:26of us and preach the gospel. I'm I'm an international conference speaker, that's
- 31:33part of what I do. And I've always had a drawing for women.
- 31:38And last year the Lord allowed me to go to I was in Durban,
- 31:41South Africa, preaching at a woman's conference there and it's a huge Christian church.
- 31:49But the way how they had advertised the meeting, it was August night
- 31:56is national Women's Day in South Africa, so the meeting was women's life.
- 32:01But the church built it as a woman's day and not a Christian conference,
- 32:07which was right. So a lot of Hindus came to the church. And
- 32:15about me, about fifty percent of the people that were there were Hindus.
- 32:19They weren't Christians. They came to the event right. They came to the
- 32:22church. And let me tell you something I've seen. So many Indus came
- 32:28to Christ came to the altar with their little dot in their forehead, raising
- 32:32their hands. They want to know the God that we serve. They want
- 32:36to know this Jesus, raising their hands. So although you may have gone
- 32:39to some heartaches in your life and some setbacks, and some brokenness and some
- 32:45hurts and disappointments, you know you may have a son that you love dearly.
- 32:50You don't know where he is. You may have a daughter that you
- 32:52haven't spoken to for years, don't know where she is. You may have,
- 32:55you know, family members that you're fighting over this, are fighting over
- 33:01that. It doesn't matter. Gods. God wants us all to let that
- 33:06thing go and to focus on Him because there's a dying world out there.
- 33:10There are people that are dying. There are people that are lost. There
- 33:14are people that are very passionate over the wrong things they're feeling, people that
- 33:17are willing to give their lives for something that is nothing to do with God.
- 33:22And the church is asleep because we're busy. We're busy fighting for platforms
- 33:28the body of Christ. You know, we're busy focusing on the wrong thing.
- 33:32We allow the enemy to make us distracted. So when you have women
- 33:37like you that want to come together and build a community, a family of
- 33:43people that come together to say listen, man, Iron sharpens iron, and
- 33:46the countenance of one brightens the other. You know, you do what God
- 33:52will tell you to do. I'll lift you up. God. I'm doing
- 33:53what God tell me to do, and I need you to lift me up
- 33:57as well. And we work together, we can tear sick kingdoms, that
- 34:00kingdom down. You know, a kingdom that is divided cannot stand. But
- 34:05a kingdom that is standing together in unity, you cannot break it. Which
- 34:09is one of the reasons that God had to come on and break up the
- 34:13toe of Bible because the people were so united in what they were doing that
- 34:17he had to split up the languages. He had to make let some people
- 34:21talk Chinese and some people talk Spanish, and some people talk for He has
- 34:25to separate the languages because there were so together in unity to do something that
- 34:30is in apostasy. And if we could have the same unity to do something
- 34:35to build the Kingdom of God. Can you imagine how many people that is
- 34:38in prison that we could help so when they come to the free world as
- 34:42they call it, when they come on this side, that they will know
- 34:45how to how to survive because they're institutionalized. If they've been there in their
- 34:51teens. One of my girls, she says, she's been going to this
- 34:53particular prison since she was thirteen. She's in our farty, so she's back
- 34:59and forth, back for back and forth. They've been institutionalized. They you
- 35:02know, the people that you want to send letters to their institutionalize. They've
- 35:07been there for decades. They don't know how to survive in this out in
- 35:13the outside world. They have to be reoriented again, and we can be
- 35:17the voice that would go in and help them to be re oriented from the
- 35:22big from the inside, so when they come out they could be good citizens
- 35:28of the society and the outside and not look at their the rejection that they
- 35:32came out of, the sufferings that they have, what mom or Dad did
- 35:37to them, who didn't do, who should have done and didn't do,
- 35:39who didn't do and didn't do it right, all of that that will look
- 35:43at that as a stepping stone, because That's what I've done with my life,
- 35:46all of the hurd and the rejection that I've gone through. Every time
- 35:52I've gone through a level of rejection, I use it as a stepping stone.
- 35:55I said, Okay, Daddy, you're stretching me hot higher, and
- 35:59I use are a stepping stone to get to this another place in the in
- 36:02the things of God, or get to another place physically. But I don't
- 36:06let I don't take it personally because I know that there's a real enemy out
- 36:10there that doesn't want us to do what God has call us to do.
- 36:14There's a real devil out there. The Bible said, we're wrestling out against
- 36:17flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and rulers of darkness and spiritual
- 36:22wickedness in high places. So there's a lot of things that is happening in
- 36:25high places. So I don't look at humans when they come. I ask
- 36:30the Lord to show me the spirit behind them. And that's what we have
- 36:35to do, is break off those troungholds behind these men and women that got
- 36:39us, call us to reach to behind bars. So when they come out,
- 36:43they don't see themselves as victims, but they see themselves as vigtors.
- 36:47They've overcome, they've overcome, they're alive, and they're they're surviving. So
- 36:52that's the passion of my heart. Women of God. Wow, that's that's
- 37:00right up my alley. That's that's what I'm doing out in Texas. That's
- 37:07I've been pouring into these women and men. We're definitely trying to get them
- 37:14to identify themselves because a lot of them they ended up there because they didn't
- 37:17have identity. They were in the wrong place at the wrong time, tagging
- 37:22along because this is this this this is what I don't do just tag along.
- 37:28You're talking about kids fifteen and sixteen year old getting adult sentences when the
- 37:34adults it actually committed the crimes got a lot or not who they are because
- 37:43a lot of them they've gotten in the system and they they've gotten lost.
- 37:49A lot of them they were I'm talking about they had to do a whole
- 37:57lot and it it's about understanding who you are, Understanding who God created you
- 38:05to be, what your purpose is, walking in that purpose and understanding that.
- 38:10Wow, I tell you you have definitely touched on some things tonight.
- 38:15These ladies sitting again, Woman of God, I'm sorry, it's it's a
- 38:24it was a delay. Go ahead. Yeah, no, you were saying
- 38:30something and I didn't hear. Yeah, I was saying. There were a
- 38:36lot of comments in the comments section. There was one young lady said,
- 38:43boy, she came in at the right time. Ooh, you're preaching good
- 38:46now. And another young lady said, that is God's timing is truly perfect.
- 38:54So they were really enjoying what you were sharing on tonight. If you
- 39:00would please, how can people follow you? How can they tune into your
- 39:06podcast? How can they purchase your books? How can they support your ministry
- 39:13And if you have anything that's coming up in twenty twenty four, if you
- 39:16would like to share, the floor is yours and then we'll close out.
- 39:21Thank you for the opportunity. Well, I am very very excited that I
- 39:23am starting again a podcast in January, and it's called Word for Word,
- 39:30and it's going to be a platform where I'm going to be interviewing the women
- 39:36of God, men of God, different people on different topics, but it's
- 39:38going to have a biblical spin because I am a minister of the Gospel,
- 39:43so everything I do has to come through that vehicle. I am working at
- 39:46a couple of books, like four of them, so now I'll be finishing
- 39:51two of them pretty soon, so that will be out. And I travel
- 39:54and I speak in churches and then I do conferences. If the Lord,
- 40:00if you feel led and want me to be minister one of your women's conferences
- 40:05or one of your confidences. I've been doing it for the last fifteen years,
- 40:08traveled internationally all over pretty much all over the world, speaking to the
- 40:13Body of Christ. I am very grateful to be on this platform because many
- 40:19people don't do what you do. Women of God, many people. They
- 40:22just want it for themselves. And you took it upon you to follow the
- 40:27heart of God, which is to disciple your ministry. Because that's what you're
- 40:30doing. You're discipling your ministry the Bibles and to go heat into the highways
- 40:36and the byways, and you're using social media to go into the highways and
- 40:39the byways, and you're not going by yourself. You call them the other
- 40:43disciples and say, come on, man, come on, let's let's all
- 40:45go. Let's go in there, go after the people of God. Let's
- 40:49go get them and make them hold and give them some make them hold,
- 40:52bring them back to that place that God has called them. And that's that's
- 40:55an awesome thing that you're doing. And I'm very grateful and I'm grateful for
- 41:00the platform. If they want to follow me, they can follow me and
- 41:02Michelle McKenzie. That's my my Facebook page or my IG page is the Michelle
- 41:12McKenzie. You can follow me, dear then Michelle McKenzie. But if you
- 41:16need to reach me specifically, you could just reach the Woman of God if
- 41:21you can't get me somehow, and she knows how to reach out to me.
- 41:25But it's just an honor to just to be here, that just to
- 41:30share and your heart is so huge. I can see that that you have
- 41:35a burden for the people. You have a burden to see people fulfill their
- 41:39purpose and their destiny, and that is that is very rare. I have
- 41:44that burden myself and I want to do if you can stand on my shoulder
- 41:47and get there, then you could use my shoulder. That's how I look
- 41:51at it, and thank you for allowing not just me, but many to
- 41:53use your shoulder, uh to get to, you know, another level in
- 42:00where they want to be at. And sometimes the people that provide a shoulder
- 42:04don't have a shoulder for themselves. But I want to tell you that some
- 42:07God is that shoulder for you because I can tell that you do a lot
- 42:12for others that it's not reciprocating. But God is the shoulder for you,
- 42:15and He'll open many doors for you in twenty twenty four, many doors in
- 42:20twenty twenty four. I pray a blessing over you women of God. I
- 42:22feel the prophetic annointing coming here. So but I can feel that you carry
- 42:29the weight and God is going to release that. You know, God is
- 42:32going to release that because it's going to send your destiny helpers that really see
- 42:37the vision in your heart and the passion in your heart and have the funds,
- 42:42the finances to really take it where it needs to be. And He's
- 42:45also going to move people that's just their users, and you know their users,
- 42:50but you just because of your personality, you just let them be.
- 42:53God is going to remove them because their wit, their weight, their way,
- 42:58their wait. And every time you say I'm not doing it again,
- 43:01you still do it again. You every time you say I'm not gonna do
- 43:06it again because of the heart that you have. And God is going to
- 43:08bring you into a place where you're gonna have people that genuinely, genuinely see
- 43:16your heart and have they can't do what you do, but they have the
- 43:21backing to make what you do better. And in twenty twenty four, I
- 43:25hear the Lord said that your load will be lighter. Ah, God,
- 43:30he said, your load will be lighter. Your load will be lighter,
- 43:34Your load will be lighter. And I also see you traveling too. I
- 43:37don't know if you're but I see you even moving. I am not sure
- 43:43what's going on with that, but I see you moving and you're tying with
- 43:46that idea and you're actually struggling with that. But Lord, it is up
- 43:51the Lord. I want to let you know, Woman of God, it
- 43:53is up the Lord, and you need to go for it and do it
- 43:58fresh environment and knew this is coming upon you because it's putting you around the
- 44:04no people, the people that are not all of them, but a great
- 44:08portion of the people that you're around, Familiarity breeds contempt and because they're too
- 44:15familiar with you because they knew you before. Whatever that before was, they
- 44:21knew you before. And some of them are still in all that you're doing
- 44:24what you're doing, and so God is gonna put you in circles that appreciate
- 44:31what you're doing, appreciate the heart for what you want to do, and
- 44:37will help you to take it to the next place. I pray you received
- 44:40that word, Woman of God, because twenty twenty four is the beginning of
- 44:45greatness for you. I see it's almost like I see you're stepping up three
- 44:49steps and open the door. And as you open the door, it's almost
- 44:52like the sun ray has come right in, like you're stepping into a brightness
- 44:59brightnes Yes, He's going to do supernatural for you supernatural and he's gonna I
- 45:05hear the Lord said, he's gonna amplify your voice. He's going to amplify
- 45:09your voice. So let him do what he's doing. Okay, he's gonna
- 45:15cut people that you It's hard to but you gotta let them be. Let
- 45:20it be. It's okay, it's okay. It's not cutting that you don't
- 45:24have contact. He's cutting so that you can move forward. So received that.
- 45:31In Jesus' name, Every single thing that you just said was just confirmation.
- 45:43I literally, I literally just had a conversation with someone on the phone.
- 45:49I've been contemplating, and I'm just going to be real. I've been
- 45:52contemplating to move to Texas. The call that I took before I came on
- 46:01the show, someone asked me what would I do with five million dollars?
- 46:13Literally, like, I'm gonna play this back to somebody when I talk to
- 46:17them, because if I just tell them, they're not gonna believe this.
- 46:22But everything that you just said came out of their mouths too well. He
- 46:27he wanted to confirm that with you so that you did not know. I
- 46:35don't as the first time I see the flight, the first time we connected
- 46:38like this, you know that they yeah, but that's the Lord. That's
- 46:44what he does, and he speaks to his prophets. But you want to
- 46:47send confirmation to these people so that you don't have to waiver if you shoot
- 46:52or shouldn't. And then when you're going, no matter what, you'll stand
- 46:57because you know it's a God thing. You know, you won't say,
- 47:00well, God, I shouldn't have. You know that God is gonna take
- 47:02care of you. He's gonna do what it is to do because he's the
- 47:06one that's sending you there, and he confirmed it in his word. He's
- 47:15moving new environment, knew everything. He is moving, He's picking you up
- 47:22and moving you. He is moving you. Please confirmation like wow, I
- 47:37truly thank you. I invite you back. I I definitely so much You
- 47:45said tonight just coincide with a lot that I've been saying over the last couple
- 47:50of months, feelings, thoughts that I've had, even conversations that I've had.
- 48:00I am doing a I'm getting back to doing a conference sort of like
- 48:06an expo type conference for authors and black business owners, and I definitely I'll
- 48:14talk to you off air, but I definitely would like for you to be
- 48:17a part of it. We're gonna be going to different cities, different states,
- 48:22about ten different locations we have on the schedule. We just got to
- 48:27get everybody together and get everything just lined up. I have different people that's
- 48:32helping me, that's in these different states, that's working on them, and
- 48:37we're trying to get everything together. But it's gonna I'm gonna start here in
- 48:43Murder Beach because I'm here in Murder Beach. So we're gonna start here in
- 48:45April, and then May we're going to Texas, and then June we're going
- 48:52to Illinois and then New York, and then we'll come back to Atlanta.
- 48:57Then we'll come to North Carolina. Just different places, but we're gonna make
- 49:02our lirounds and it's an opportunity for authors to come together. And you said
- 49:08something earlier. You know, I'm a domestic violence survivor. I would shot
- 49:15point blank range with us, all our shotgun I shouldn't be here, But
- 49:19on my bed of affliction, I asked God, if he would raise me
- 49:25up, that I would always share his goodness. And I knew I didn't
- 49:30want to be in a poor pit, but I knew that he would give
- 49:36me a platform or he would give me something that would allow me to do
- 49:39that. So I started writing books and it gave me the opportunity to do
- 49:47these interviews. And every time I would talk to people before the interview or
- 49:53whatever, and I will always tell them it's more than books. And every
- 49:59time I would come a live it always started off as books. But before
- 50:02the end, I'll be no minister to somebody. I'll go back and look
- 50:07at the video or somebody else saying, Angela, I don't be gonna remember
- 50:12what I'm be gonna say. And I look at the video and it just
- 50:14don't even seem like that that was me, Like that was that was you?
- 50:19Girl like? But God just began to deal with me and it became
- 50:24more than books, and it just became about people in purpose and understanding that
- 50:34we didn't get dropped out of this guy, that there's a reason why we're
- 50:37here and we're not meant to be alone. He give us our helpmates one
- 50:45for another, and I needed that on tonight, every single word that you
- 50:50spoke, I needed that. And sometimes that's that's what it takes, you
- 50:55know. The visionary had to come from behind the scene. So that I
- 50:59can receive this on tonight. See, God don't make mistakes. So I'm
- 51:05grateful, I'm thankful, and we definitely will be in touch. Is there
- 51:10anything that you would like to share before we leave? No, I just
- 51:15wanted to tell you that I just keep hearing land real estate for you real
- 51:21estate, but I hear land land real estate. So just be seeking the
- 51:25Lord and that I guess a sense that he wants not just to have land
- 51:32land, So just be prayerful about that. That's something that I know.
- 51:38I just keep hearing that. But no, I'm good. I'm grateful to
- 51:42be here. Thank you for the opportunity to share your platform. I thank
- 51:47God for everybody that's watching. Then we'll be watching. I pray that if
- 51:52there's any mother out there or fathers that are out there that are you know,
- 51:57going through especially during this time, doing a holiday season, maybe they've
- 52:02lost a son or a daughter. Maybe their their son or a son,
- 52:06our daughter and or daughter is no longer in their life. Maybe they're just
- 52:12exchanged like my son is. I pray that God will give comfort to your
- 52:15heart this this this holiday season, and I pray for you that I've lost
- 52:21a son or maybe have a son or daughter incarcerated, that you'll be encouraged
- 52:25and just you know, just be strengthened in this time and knowing that God
- 52:29has a plan for them. And this is not the God. He is
- 52:34not a god of a second chance. He's the God of another chance.
- 52:37And there's a big difference between a second chance and another chance. It keeps
- 52:40giving you another chance as long as you're breathing. So be strengthened and be
- 52:45encouraged tonight. Father, be encouraged mother, that you will see the reward
- 52:51before the Lord closes your eyes. That you will see dest to be fulfilled.
- 52:54Because God is not a man, he can't lie. Whatever he promises
- 52:58you, he will it to pass. God, bless you. Thank you
- 53:01for having me. Woman of God, visionary angela God bless you so much,
- 53:06honored to be on your platform. Thank you for the opportunity. Thank
