- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Dog's Podcast with your hosts, Lake Renaker, Justin Charles, and Josh All.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, what's up, Browns fans?
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to another episode of the Dogs Podcast presented by Manly Bands.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: Josh, all your hosts today, come into you a couple days year after yet another humiliating Browns loss.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: Another one in Pittsburgh, 22 straight in Pittsburgh.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking my wife the other day and I said, you know, I was like, I don't know, 13 or 14 years old or something like that.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: The last time the Browns actually won a game.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: in Pittsburgh like I couldn't even drive yet and she said, what does that make you feel old?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: I said old and kind of stupid honestly for for continuing on with this team, but that's just how the fandom works with the Cleveland Browns.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: We never give up.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: We never surrender.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you Tim Allen from Galaxy Quest, but I'm telling you right now, this team isn't dire straight.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what we're going to talk about today.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to talk about this team again.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: I seem to be doing this this ongoing series.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like every week and I never planned for this.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: I never set out to do this.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: This was not scheduled.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: I was not intended.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: to come on here every week and talk about how we need to get rid of Kevin Stephansky or fire this guy or get rid of this regime, but that's just kind of what it has turned into.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like I've beat the Kevin Stephansky horse to complete pulp like it's dead.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, Blake and I argue about it every week.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: So we don't need to really talk too much about that today today.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: I think we need to take a deeper dive behind the scenes into what could possibly be the major issue with the Browns.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: And this does go to Kevin and AB and everything, but Blake said something the other way on the show that got me thinking, he mentioned root causes.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if something about root causes of why the team is so bad,
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's a maybe a different direction than what he was talking about, and it's a direction that I've done episodes on before I've talked about this before in the past, I feel like I do this at least once every season.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to talk about Paul D. Pedesta today, mainly.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to dive into the architect of destruction for this Cleveland Browns organization and the roster that this current regime inherited.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: in 2020 and what they have done to it since then.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy when you go back and you actually look at all of this.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to go through all of that all all of that stuff.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: We got Mike Tomlin's comments which really kicked off this whole thing.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'll talk about that two here in a second and the voice metal would dive into next.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: But before I do make sure you guys go to join the dogs.com to come to official dog pack member on the Patreon page.

- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: you know it's it's the preview for the upcoming game but the show really revolves around you guys again this is a podcast for the fans by the fans you're the fans we're the fans let's do this thing because we are all in this together all right so before I go into like my Tomlins comments and all of that stuff I need to play this voice mail that was sent in the
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: Hey guys, Kurt from Jersey, Cleveland Brown's fans since 1988, so I've seen some things.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: I just started listening to you guys around the draft, but what I want to say is we knew the offense was going to be dog shit this year.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: You guys know it, everyone know it.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: The big surprise this year is how bad our defense is.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: You keep saying that it's the number one defense, number one defense, it's not, it's not, it's just not.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's horrible.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: I came in imagine.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have the stats in front of me.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine this is the top 10 defense this year.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of points this team has given up is ridiculous.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I know one of you guys is in real estate and if you walked into a house this bad, what would you say?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: You would say gut it.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: gut it from the top to the bottom and
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, I hate to say it, but that's what's got to happen.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: This team's got to be gutted.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking miles, Garrett.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking everybody's got to go.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: Except for this class, the rookies leave the class, the rookies alone, but everybody else gets the fuck out of town.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry for swear.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: There you guys.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: You are forgiven for swearing, but again, brownspan, swearing is acceptable.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes, absolutely necessary, totally get it.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: So here's what I'll say about the defense.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: And we've hearted on the defense on the show, Blake has really hearted on in the last couple weeks.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's no denying, yes, they gave up a game-winning touchdown drive to Carson Wenz, three backup linemen, all that kind of stuff.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: In London, they got gashed and just pretty much manhandled by the Steelers over in Pittsburgh, and then the week before all of that, they got totally embarrassed by the lines and Detroit.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: If you go back to what I said last week about the defense on the preview show, I think it was.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: I posted this on Twitter and Facebook and everything.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: The defense when we're saying number one defense, they were.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: They were.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: If you've heard us talk about the Brown's defense as the number one defense in the league, elite defense, all that stuff, they were that was factual.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: That was a true statement after three weeks of the NFL season because if you think about it, I said this defense is elite at home in Cleveland on the road.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, they're not.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exactly how it was in 2023.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: We had that historic defense.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: The caveat at home not on the road and the last three weeks almost a full month now We've watched this team this defense on the road.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: We were in Detroit.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: We were in London, and then we were in Pittsburgh So that is why the defense that we the the Reacency bias the most familiar
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know, thing that we have with this defense is them not playing very well.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: They've been on the road.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: Go all the way back to the last time they played at home.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: The only game this season they managed to win was because the defense at home against Green Bay was elite.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: The defense at home week one against the Bengals was elite.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: Shoulda won that game.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: over in Baltimore not quite so elite they were I mean Baltimore was aided heavily by our offense and just how inept we are on that side of the ball but still you still have to score and our defense still let them so there there are things to consider there with the defense we'll get a we'll see how true this whole you know the and I'm not saying it's not true because the
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: very good at home, not very good on the road.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see if if the trend holds true this week, because we are back home.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: We are against a lesser opponent in the Miami Dolphins.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like the teams we've played so far, this year really are better than them.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: So let's see, let's see how this defense looks against to against this Dolphins, you know, offense and everything.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: The Dolphins have only scored less than 20 points one time this year, they're one and five.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: But four out of their five games, they have scored over 20 points.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think three of those games they were at 27, almost 30 points.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be interesting to see how it goes.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about the Dolphins matchup on Thursday.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Kurt.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: for the voicemail, appreciate hearing from I appreciate hearing from everybody I love hearing from new people that that call in that you know they they've wanted to before and they never have if you want to call in leave a voicemail and have us talk about it on the show it's join or not join it's the dogs podcast dot com there's a leave voicemail option in the in the drop down menu just click that record your message and
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: And you can listen to a back if you don't like how it sounds or you messed up or whatever just erase it recorded a new one and send that one like it's it's very easy to do so the dogs podcast calm leave voice note if you want to get your thoughts and opinions and stuff on the show.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: So a couple of notes to discuss here, obviously we saw yesterday the Titans fired head coach Bryant Callahan after going for 19 in the last two seasons, which by the way is the same record as Kevin Stephanski with the Browns in the same timeframe.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: The big news out of this though, his dad Bill Calahan, the O line coach who used to be the Browns O line coach has also left the team after his son was fired.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, a lot of speculation online should would could the Browns bring back Bill Calahan to be the offensive line coach again for the Browns.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how all of that works, I mean, to name him the actual O-line coach, you'd have to fire Mike Blumgren.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's something the Browns are even thinking about doing, or would want to do, or anything like that, could they bring him in and it's like an offensive line consultant role, of course they could do stuff like that, or however they want to assign him to the staff.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: Does Bill Callahan even want to come back to Cleveland?
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why you would, I don't know if he could actually fix this offensive line mess that we have found ourselves in.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: Again, we have these aging line men, in my opinion, we have a very poor offensive scheme that doesn't set anybody up for success whatsoever, my opinion, not not everybody's, but that's just the way I see it, and we've done nothing in the draft.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: it whatsoever to try and plan for the future or build up any sort of real depth for this offensive line.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's if it's feasible for Bill Kallahan to come back if it's practical.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: and if it would even matter.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know what you guys think in the comments.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to see Bill back?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously we always like to go back to the ex-girlfriend type thing and say, hey, thanks for so great.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know, until they come back and you realize, okay, maybe we just need to move forward, keep moving forward here.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: But Bill Callahan was very good for the Browns when he was coaching here in Cleveland.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: But again, that was also when we had Nick Job.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: And he
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: We talk about all the time, maybe he did a lot of deficiencies for this offensive line.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: So who knows, I don't think there's anything right now that could possibly fix this offense.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, Shador Sanders fans, I just, I like the kid and we'll talk about him two here later on.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, we're going to talk about him next.

- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Which, let's go over here.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go over to these Mike Tomlin comments from yesterday.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: This, this stuff went viral online and there's no way that he knew they were didn't know they would.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you what the comments were here in a second.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: If you didn't hear them, I'll read it for you.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: He was in a press conference.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: He was being asked about the Browns Trading Joe Flacco before the, you know, what Monday last week ahead of the Steelers game and all that stuff.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: his response was very interesting, and there's, you can't convince me it was not calculated and it was not intentional what he said.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: So here were his words, Miles will say him.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: So you guys know what we're talking about if you didn't hear it.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Tomman asked about Joe Flacco being traded to the bangles and he said,
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: quote, Andrew Barry must be a lot smarter than me or us because it doesn't make sense to me to trade a quarterback, you think enough of to make your opening day starter to a division opponent that's hurting in that area, but that's just my personal feeling.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: the questions went rampant online.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: Why is Mike Tomlin decorated future hall of fame head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers taking a shot at Brown's General Manager Andrew Barry now?
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: The Steelers, this is one side of it that I've, I kind of think too, like the Steelers have the division lead right now they're four and one.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: They've got a clear runaway path to the division and to a playoff birth.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: The Ravens are not going to, sorry, or Aaron Butler.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: It ain't happening, brother.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: Ravens are not going to the playoffs.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: As long as you're starting, Cooper Rush on the offensive side of the ball paired with the league worst defense.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: You guys suck on defense by the way, Ravens, you suck.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Brown's fan talking about sucking.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know, it's hilarious.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: But you do.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to the playoffs.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to win enough games.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: Your record is going to be bad enough by the time Lamar Jackson gets back on the field.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're out of this thing.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be out of this thing.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: Even with Lamar, you're going to play enough good teams down the stretch that that defense is going to cost you games.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to the playoffs.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: The Bengals, on the other hand, while I don't think they're going to the playoffs either,
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: They're a little closer.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, I gave my head or whatever in the division.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe Mike Tomlin was a little salty that the Brown sent a, obviously Joe Flacco is not great, but hey, I'm sorry, we sent a capable enough veteran quarterback to a team with very good offensive weapons.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: to help them hopefully turn around their season and possibly compete for the division.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, maybe, I mean, that's the hope when you make that kind of a trade.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe my Tom and I looked at that is like a divisional thing saying, what do you help them out for?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like screw you guys, that was, I hate that you did that.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_01]: Totally see that.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: I've also seen people speculating that he was actually defending Kevin Stephansky with this statement throwing some shade at the Browns front office.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: He called Andrew Barry out by name and made a statement again like I said that he knew would make headlines.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry must be a lot smarter than me and he says it the day after Andrew Barry's team was just humiliated once again by Mike Tomlinstein.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then something kind of hit me, and I remembered Paul D. Podesta, the forgotten hidden man behind the curtain of everything the Browns have screwed up and done since he was hired as the Chief Strategy Officer for the Cleveland Browns in 2016, Paul freaking D. Podesta, the creator, the originator of the Moneyball Method to Running A Baseball Team.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: Then I went down a whole other path here, started thinking about things and connecting some dots in my head.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: So if you indulge me, walk along this path with me, comment, blow wherever you're watching listening, let's have this conversation.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: I started remembering some of these moneyball strategies that Paul deep a desk to use while he was in Oakland with the athletics.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: And one of those strategies stuck out to me immediately,
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: after Mike Tomlin's comments here.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that strategy, that tactic, if the coach of the team, and this was the Oakland Athletics at the time, the baseball team, but this happened before if the coach of the team is unwilling to play a player, that you, meaning you, Paul D. Padessta, or the GM, the front office, whatever, if the coach is not playing a player that you want the coach to play.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: Then you simply trade away whoever he is playing, and you leave the coach with no choice but to play the player that you want.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: They did this in Oakland, case in point in this situation with the Browns, Joe Flacco and Shador Sanders.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: So Dylan Gabriel had already been named the starter obviously ahead of the Minnesota game in London last week, and if we go back, we remember that there have been reports that Dylan Gabriel in the draft was Kevin Stofansky's pick.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: He was a Kevin Stofansky that was Kevin's guy should door Sanders has been reported that he was an Andrew Barry pick.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we can do conspiracy theories like about this stuff all we want, but the overall attitude toward these players from a coaching standpoint throughout all spring and summer.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: very interesting.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: It was always the same sediment.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was Dylan is more ready.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: Dylan is the guy.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: Dylan's taken first team reps, even though every reporter at camp says he does not look good.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: He does not look like an NFL quarterback.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: Should door Sanders mean while always held at QB4 on the death chart, throwing to water boys practicing by himself on a separate field.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: We can go back and we remember all this stuff.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: It all happened.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Flash forward to now.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin Stephanski promotes his guy, Dylan Gabriel, to the starter position, which again, we all thought was the right move, Joe Flackel wasn't doing anything for the offense.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: Mine's well move on.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: See what the rookie has.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I'm not saying that was a bad decision, but this is what happened.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: His guy is now moved into Kevin's guy, is now moved into the starter spots.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: But he does not promote Andrew Barry's guy to the backup quarterback.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: He keeps Joe Flackel then who just got demoted, still has the backup.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: the very next week after Kevin decides that Joe is the backup quarterback, where's Joe Flacco?
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: Go on.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's in Cincinnati.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: Go on as soon.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it just, if you connect these dots, I'm not saying this is what happened.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying it's interesting the way it happened.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: in historical context to what Paul D. Padesse and his front office in Oakland did in the past.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: The second that as soon as Kevin Safansky says, Joe Flacco is the backup and not Shador Sanders, the very next week, Joe Flacco is gone.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: Very interesting to me.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then, here's where things get even better.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: As soon as Joe Flacco is out of the picture,
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: Does Kevin Stephansky do the obvious thing and then just confirm Shador Sanders is the new backup when he's asked about it?
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, he doesn't.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: He refuses to commit to Shador, leaving that door wide open for the practice squad quarterback.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: Bigly Zappy to potentially get called up and be the backup.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now this obviously created headlines and more controversy that, you know, was really unnecessary and it got highlighted yesterday by former Browns quarterback Joe Hayden, star quarterback first round pick by the Browns way back when Joe Hayden was on honor the land on big play and here's what he had to say.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: He said you have your top leadership playing with Shador playing games with Shador.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you not saying he's going to be the backup immediately?
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Haynes said that's lack of leadership, that's making questions, that's making things that don't need to be talked about.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty strong perspective coming from a former player.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: a former star player from this team who also did play for the Steelers.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm not trying to do the whole rift between the coaching staff and the front office thing because I want or I like the drama or want to create this stuff.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what I'm doing.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys watch this show, you know that I hate this freaking drama.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: I just want a team that is capable of winning football games.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I'd also feel like a very berry my head in the sand fan.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: If I didn't at least question everything that has happened and everything that we've seen since the draft.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: So did Andrew Berry trade Joe Flacco to force Kevin Stephansky to move should door up the death chart?
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now obviously turning a six round pick into a fifth round pick was the result of that deal and that's cool, that's great, that was a good outcome.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: but was there also another benefit of the trade from Andrew Barry's perspective.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we've seen Dylan Gay real now and two games and Kevin's offense and guys, it doesn't look any different than if it was DeSean Watson, Dorian Thompson Robinson, Joe Flacco playing quarterback.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, am I wrong?
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Does it look any different than when those guys played quarterback in those offense?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin said that this was the guy to run his offense
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: And it just looks as pitiful as ever, short throws, Dink and Dunks, missing open guys, making wrong reads, running the wrong place, sailing passes out of bounds, my goodness, I know we knocked Dylan for those.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: But how many Deshawn Watson passes?
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: Did we watch just fly five yards over a married Cooper's head?
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Flacco sailed passes and his starts this year.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: What's going on with this offense?
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, was trading Joe Flacco?
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: the only way to ensure that shit door Sanders was closer to seeing the field.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: And was Kevin's refusal to commit to Sanders initially as the QB2, his way of showing some defiance toward Andrew Barry and that trade.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: Again, it's all speculation, all speculation.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little bit
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Gotta ask the questions.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Gotta ask the questions because nothing this team does.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing they do is normal, nothing.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: So we gotta ask the questions.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: And again, now we need to talk about Paul D. Podesta and this money ball strategy, okay?
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: Because this tactic of trading players to control the depth of positioning from within the front office level is a real tactic.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Paul D. Podesta and his front office have used this tactic in the past.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: now i i did a man this was a little bit maybe a year ago or so i actually bought the money ball book and i was reading it i didn't get very far i just you know we we had a baby we've got a new house we're building all this we've got a lot of life stuff going on i'm doing the podcast and doing all the other things for my business
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: I just never got around reading or finishing the book, but I've done a lot of reading some articles and breaking down the Money Ball Theory.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go back and actually read through the book.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: And once I do finish the book, I will do an episode or a series of episodes based on my reading of the Money Ball Book.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: But I do want to read a couple of things that I found online here.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: The Money Ball Theory.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: Listen this, is a baseball strategy, okay?
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: A baseball strategy.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: Once I go through some of this stuff real quick about money ball, there's no denying like you cannot deny that the browns are implementing money ball, baseball, theory, elements, whatever you want to call it, onto their football team.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: they are.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so the moneyball theory is a baseball strategy that uses data and statistical analysis to identify undervalued players, enabling teams with low pay roles to compete with wealthier ones.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of relying on traditional statistics, like batting average, it emphasizes metrics such as on-base percentage and slugging percentage as better predictors of a player's contribution to winning.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: popularized by the Oakland Athletics General Manager Billy Bean, the theory post, or I'm sorry, positions that a player's worth can be measured by their ability to get on base and hit for power regardless of conventional wisdom or perceived flaws.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: That part right there was what was very important in stuck out to me, regardless of conventional wisdom or perceived flaws.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: that does not work in football.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: The, okay, another thing that I wanted to read for Batamir, the idea behind moneyball was that Paul D. Podesta devised a method to find and make use of undervalued players based on statistical variables that had largely been ignored earlier.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: His goal.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: was to create a framework, which would increase the likelihood of the Oakland A's making it to the playoffs.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: He began by stating the somewhat intuitive claim that the probability of any team making it to the playoffs depended on the number of games they won in their regular season.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, Ivy League education put to good use.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: Hence, in order to make it to the playoffs, he had to devise a method to not only discover how games, or how many games the team needed
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: that would give the Oakland A's just enough wins to make it through, just enough wins to make it through.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: The philosophy of money ball.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: is to get by with as little as you can to do just enough to make it into the playoffs, to win just enough to make it to the postseason.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't work in football.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, the theory is flawed.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: You cannot have to get into the playoffs in the NFL.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to be good, very rarely.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: Can you just walk your way or shouldn't you say luck?
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: Can you do the minimum and get yourself in there?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: And even if you do, you're done.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: You will be a first round exit because you're not going to be good enough to compete with everybody else that's in there.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: This episode is sponsored by Southern New Hampshire University.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: Brons fans, do you ever feel stuck in your current job?
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you just had a different degree or some more education in a certain area, you could do something you really want to do.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Southern New Hampshire University has the answers for you.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: Head over to SNHU.edu slash bark to learn how you can get started on your new career today.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: SNHU is one of the largest online accredited universities in the United States and it's radically affordable.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: Their online tuition rates are some of the lowest in the nation.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: So seriously, what are you waiting for?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: Head over to SNHU.edu slash bark to learn how you can get started on your degree for your new career.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: 100% online and 100% on your time.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: SNHU.edu slash bark.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: Here are the core principles of the money ball theory.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, data over instinct.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, where are the alarm bells now guys?
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: Think of, this right here is what the Browns do.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: This is what the Browns do, data over instinct.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: We talk all the time, we need football guys.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: We need people who can evaluate football talent, can the guys play football, this and that, no, this is now data over instinct.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously, if I had a alarm bell, sound effect right now available real quick, I'd be smashing the hell out of that thing, replacing traditional scouting methods and gut feelings with advanced statistical analysis and quantitative data, that's what the Browns do.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: They replace traditional scouting methods and gut feelings, like I just got a gut feeling, this guy can play football.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: Nope, forget all that nonsense.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to use advanced statistical analysis and quantitative data.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: Great job.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's working not well at all.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: Number two, core principle of moneyball theory.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_01]: Identifying undervalued assets.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this is what the Browns try to do all the time.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: Focusing on metrics that are not widely considered, but have a significant correlation with desired outcome such as on-base percentage in baseball.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: Why don't know what those metrics are in football?
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: but it doesn't work.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't work.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: Strategic number three here's strategic decision-making using data to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness allowing for more efficient allocation of resources and building a stronger team.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: This is where
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: the Deshawn Watson trade and contract comes into play this strategic decision making.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: We can't afford.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: We can do this.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: We can give up three first round picks.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: We can give allocate this large portion of our salary cap each year to Deshawn Watson because we can get
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: the same level of production at these other positions from finding our hidden gems.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need a first round wider receiver.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: We can get a wider receiver that can do the same thing as a first round wide receiver.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: We can get that guy in the third round.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, know you can't.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Or at least if you were good at drafting, yeah, you could have gotten your almond raw same browner, you're pooping to poo, but you guys suck at talent evaluation, and you draft Anthony Schwarzen-David Bell.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: So it does not work in football.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_01]: Again, the D emphasis on traditional scouting practices was the freaking alarm bell just going crazy in my head.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Higher emphasis on deeper metrics for players in specific areas rather than scouting based on the player's size or overall athletic ability or capabilities on the field.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you get an Anthony Schwartz who can run fricking fast on a track, but can't do anything on a football field.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's why that happens.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: That is exactly why that happens.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: The problem with money boy, I've said it over and over and I'll say it again.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: It does not work in football.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: It can't.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: And here's why.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: Moneyball focuses on individual metrics that help predict a player's success.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's actually pretty easy to do in baseball.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: Baseball is a largely individual sport.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: Think about it.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: Baseball is a team sport comprised of no less than 27 individual matchups that each take place on their own, isolated individual matchups.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: That is how the game is played.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: Your team gets 27 outs before the game is over every matchup is an individual performance between one of your hitters and the other team's pitcher.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's the game of baseball.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: It is a team sport with all all individual performances.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: Football is nowhere close to baseball.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_01]: Football is the ultimate team sport we say at all the time.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: It is comprised.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_01]: Unlike baseball, football is comprised of 11 individual assignments all taking place simultaneously at the same exact time you have 11 players on the field at once and if one player, one player screws up their assignment, the play fails.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like 90% of the time, the entire play will fail if just one player screws up.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now what if you got two or three players screwing up and all 11
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then a wider sea would drop to pass, play failed.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_01]: The running back didn't see the lane.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: Play failed.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: The quarterback made the wrong read.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: Play failed.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: it is such a game of nuance that you cannot use, you cannot base your entire team building structure on individual metrics alone.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: It will not work.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: You cannot moneyball your way to
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: But damn it, the Browns have fully committed to Paul D. Podesta and creating or trying to create a money ball strategy that can work in the NFL.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: Except like I said, it's impossible.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: It can't be done.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: We can fire Kevin, which I think we need to.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: We can fire the front office, which I think we need to.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: But nothing is going to change until Paul D. Padesta is far away from this football team.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't just mean distance and miles because this loser is already 2,400 miles away from Cleveland in San Diego.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: I need him fired and no longer associated in any way shape or form with the Browns.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I know there's people out there that will say, Paul D. Padesa isn't making all the decisions.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's just the chief strategy officer.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's not in the building, all this stuff.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, he is the creator of the money ball theory, of the money ball practice, the method, the strategy.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Who do you think's implementing this?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: And this is why you can safely remove this entire Ivy League brain trust from the football team.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because they are all in this strategy together.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: Deepa Desta, Harvard guy, Andrew Barry, Harvard guy, chemistry fan ski, went to Penn.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: These guys are all in this Ivy League brain trust of this money league strategy together.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: They think this can work.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_01]: They think this can work.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_01]: This team needs actual football guys who know football and they know football players.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: We need to get back to scouting players based on their football tape.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: What you see on the field and not just their predictive quantitative metrics and identifying analytics and all that BS can they freaking play football.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's all that matters.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: is why you see so few of Andrew Barry's draft picks actually on the field right now making any sort of impact for the Browns.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: Moneyball is all about finding hidden gems at a lower price point finding guys who cost less but can perform the same as higher paid players.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: Again, that may work and they made it work in baseball but it doesn't work in football.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry has had two first round picks before this season.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: Neither one of those players is on the team or
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Andrew Barry nailed the first two second round picks he ever had.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: He took Grant's help it, and the next year he took J.O.K.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: These dudes were both good football players.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: They worked out in the NFL.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: His next couple of second round picks, he used them on Elijah Moore in a trade and Mike Hall.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Hall, who's been practicing all season yet, hasn't been active for a single game yet.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: What the hell's going on there?
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we'll be diving into some Michael Hall stuff, probably here shortly.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, third round picks for Andrew Barrier, pretty much a complete bus all around.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan Elliott, Jacob Phillips, Anthony Schwartz, David Bell, Ciyaki Ike, maybe said your Toman, Zach's Inter, and Zach's Inter, Matt, how bad you have to be to be a healthy scratch each week as an offensive lineman on this team.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: Man, he's got to be bad.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: Third round picks that have worked out, okay, Martin Emerson, Jr.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: Alex, right?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so far this year, Harold Fanon, looked like they are, good players that Andrew Barry was able to hit on in the third round.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: But again, are they long-term assets for the team?
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: Martin Emerson, Alex Wright, last year there are deals.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know if they end up getting extension here and Cleveland, this one I'm talking about.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: The draft is where you find these players that you can build your team and get not just some value out of the rookie contract, but get the extension.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking big contract deals.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: Could we get Alex Wright on a two or three year extension on whatever price point he's at?
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, probably.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: Will they?
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: anybody.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: So it's been six years with this regime and all that they've done and I see this point made all the time and I fully agree all they've done is destroy what was a very strong roster they inherited.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: The list, Baker Mayfield, Nick Chub, Cream Hunt, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham, David and Joku, Joel Betonio, Wyatt Teller, J.C.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: Treader, Miles Garrett, Olivier Vernon, Denzo
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: that you came in here, and this is what was handed to you, and they could not win with that team.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: Not only could they not win with that team, they dismantled that team, and they've replaced that team.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: with nothing.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: Just nothing.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I just want to go through some of these real quick before I'm going to wrap this up.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to continue to harp on this.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: Barry's 2021 draft after he took Greg Newsome and J.O.K.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: was Anthony Schwartz, James Hudson, Tommy Togey, I Tony Fields, Richard LeCount, to Meatrick Feltan, none of those guys are on the team anymore.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, 2022 after Martin Emerson, Alex Wright, he went David Bell, pairing on Winfree, K.D.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: York, Jerome Ford, Michael Woods, Isaiah Thomas, Dawson, Deaton.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: Why even accumulate extra draft picks each year at all if this is who you're going to use it on?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: None of those guys are helping the team right now.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: 2023, just two years ago, we should still have players doing things on the field from 2023, right?
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: Senator Tillman.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: Not on the field.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: Siaki Ike to Juan Jones, not on the field again.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: Isaiah McGuire.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: Seems like maybe a decent pick.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: DTR can Mitchell Luke Whippler, none of these guys are helping us on the field.
- 38:23[UNKNOWN]: 2024.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: Surely we have players, some players from just last year who are helping us on the field now, right?
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, none.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: Not a single one, Michael Hall's ex-enter, Jemari Thresh, Boogie Watson, Miles Harden, Joann Briggs, none of them are helping the team on the field right now just a year later.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_01]: And then we come to this year, 2025.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously it starts with Mason Graham and I know we crowned this guy after like one or two weeks.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_01]: But the interior of our defensive line has been getting gast recently.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: This Mason Graham.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know but you guys I feel like he's nowhere to be found.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: I forget that he's even out there.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: Defensive tackle I understand is more difficult to transition to the NFL.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: But at the same time,
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: Andrew Barry said you were a top five pick.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: I need more out of you as a top five pick than what we are getting currently.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: Carson's questioner looks like a perennial pro-boulder.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: He was an obvious one.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_01]: He is a football player.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: I expected this dude to be great.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: Quinshan Jutkins, it didn't take any genius to draft Quinshan Jutkins.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: We watched him at Ohio State.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: We followed his career at Ole Miss.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: We knew this guy was a good football player.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: Harold Fan and Jr.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: is a good football player.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: He just needs the suck removed from his team because he is currently infected by the suck.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: You can't catch the ball, which is a problem he did not have in college.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: As soon as he gets to Cleveland, all of a sudden, can't catch.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: Is it a fan and thing or is it a culture thing?
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'll let you guys decide on that one.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: How about Dylan Gabriel, the next pick from 2025 here?
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's gotten two starts.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: Got to give him time.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: Can't make a judgment after just two games.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: You got to get out of you out of you guys.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: We probably look back on this in a year or two and say, yeah, that was a wasted pick.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's just the most likely outcome.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: How about Dylan Samson?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know the kid had a huge first game and has been a complete non-factor in the offense ever since then.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: We like the talent, but again, football's a team sport with no isolated individual performances.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: We need more.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_01]: And the last pick of Abies 10 years so far was Shador Sanders.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: So we will see.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_01]: We have the hope.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: We have the hype.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's the only one with the potential to be the guy at quarterback for the Browns.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: but can he actually be the guy for this team with this roster with this coaching staff and this front office?
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: I love the kid.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's got great potential, but the odds are definitely not in his favor.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: So let me know what you guys think about this whole money ball situation at the Browns have found themselves in.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_01]: We get very caught up.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm guilty of this.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be the first one to admit it.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: I get very caught up in finger pointing at AB, finger pointing at Kevin Sefansky, Jim Schwartz, Bubba Ventrone, all these coaching stuff, these players, the person now.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: I'll point fingers at every single one of them.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I keep forgetting about Paul D. Padesse to end the background doing his little analytical things out there with his Harvard education in San Diego screw you man.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sick and tired of Paul D. Padesse to get him out of here.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't need to be associated with this team anymore.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why everybody involved in this money ball strategy has got to go clean it out.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: Got it.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: Get rid of it.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: Go back to what Kurt said.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know he was talking about the roster.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_01]: gutting the roster, but you need to gut this freaking organization from this money ball infection that is just keep it in baseball.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: You devised a strategy that had success in baseball keep it there.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is not the same sport, and I'm sick and tired of having to do episodes and talk about Paul D. Pidescent, how you screwed up this team since 2016.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, he was the architect of 131 and Hugh Jackson and that roster was just the executioner.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_01]: They executed the 131 plan.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: PODEPADESSA is now the architect of what is 4 and 21, 4 and 21 over the last 25 games and Kevin's to Fansky and Drew Barry, these guys are just executing that plan.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: They are the motion people.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Let's put this plan, this losing plan into place, try to accumulate picks, and we'll try to find hidden gems based on our predictive quantitative analytics, and we'll build a rocket ship and go to space.
