- 0:00Speaker 1: You're list Saints kf I AM six forty. The bill
- 0:03Speaker 1: handles show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. Handle here
- 0:07Speaker 1: May fifteenth. Some of the big stories we're looking at.
- 0:11Speaker 1: The big one is President Trump is on his way
- 0:16Speaker 1: back from the summit, the two day summit with President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Chi of China. And for President Trump, the big issue
- 0:23Speaker 1: was hoping that China would influence Iran to open up.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We've got no word whether that's going to happen or not.
- 0:32Speaker 1: And for President Chi saying the Taiwan, that's the big one.
- 0:36Speaker 1: For President Chi, Taiwan d us stay the hell out
- 0:42Speaker 1: of Taiwan, and China's well, I guess entrenchment in the
- 0:48Speaker 1: Taiwanese water the see of China. We'll talk more about that. Also,
- 0:52Speaker 1: just an oh bit I want to share with you.
- 0:55Speaker 1: You don't know the name Joe Settlemeyer. He's an ad
- 0:59Speaker 1: man and of course no one knows his name, and
- 1:02Speaker 1: he he he was a director who did over one
- 1:05Speaker 1: thousand commercials. Now, you may not know his name Joe Settlemeyer,
- 1:11Speaker 1: but you know, you may know the commercial that he did,
- 1:14Speaker 1: Where's the Beef? Where's the Beef? His most famous commercial.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So I just thought i'd.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Share Wendy's right.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yeah, he's he's completely dead. He is, and I was
- 1:27Speaker 1: ninety two years old until he kicked the bucket.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Listen to his heart and go where's the beef? Where's
- 1:34Speaker 2: the beat?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah? Or as he decomposes, where's the beef? Okay, we
- 1:39Speaker 1: won't do that. Hey, it's time for Foody Friday with
- 1:43Speaker 1: Neil Savedra, host of The Fork Report tomorrow from two
- 1:46Speaker 1: to five, and he will be broadcasting from Westlake Village
- 1:51Speaker 1: and Thousand Oaks at the Wild Fork Restaurant, which we'll
- 1:56Speaker 1: talk about it.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I'm sorry, it's not a restaurant.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I always keep on saying the restaurant wild
- 2:03Speaker 1: fork foods, wild forking foods, chopping food, shopping experienced like
- 2:08Speaker 1: no weather. All right, we'll talk about that, but first
- 2:10Speaker 1: let's get right into Foody Friday and Taco Bell and
- 2:15Speaker 1: all of these fast food places are trying new things
- 2:19Speaker 1: all the time to try to grab your attention. Have
- 2:21Speaker 1: you come in the store.
- 2:23Speaker 2: There is what it's a battle all the time.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Okay, there's a new uh, there's a new flavor out
- 2:30Speaker 1: there you want to share?
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is cool. If you remember Taco Bell fans.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I mean any fast food fan is passionate about their
- 2:38Speaker 2: picks and the and the favorite menu items and all
- 2:41Speaker 2: of that. Well, if you remember some years ago they
- 2:44Speaker 2: discount they discontinued the Mexican pizza. It's two tortillas deep fried.
- 2:50Speaker 2: It's got beans and meat and cheese and all those
- 2:55Speaker 2: things stacked with some tomato, chopped tomatoes. And got a
- 2:59Speaker 2: lot of pushback from people like Dolly Parton, Doja cat Me,
- 3:04Speaker 2: Josh Freeze. Of course that's all in the same category.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But Mexican, the Mexican pizza one, it came back and
- 3:13Speaker 2: uh then they I think tried a dessert kind. Well,
- 3:19Speaker 2: now they have a new flavor of Mexican pizza. It
- 3:24Speaker 2: is the Taco Bell's debut of the Cantina Chicken Mexican
- 3:29Speaker 2: pizza and jalapeno citrus salad.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But yeah, there is a certain one of the things
- 3:36Speaker 1: about Taco Bell and Del Taco there's that certain flavor
- 3:40Speaker 1: that you get of the tacos that are you can't
- 3:45Speaker 1: get in anyplace else. And I am I'm a Taco
- 3:49Speaker 1: bell A ficionado, not a Del taco A ficonado. They're
- 3:52Speaker 1: a hoot that for a fight huh. Pepsi versus Coca Cola,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Taco bell versus different Now the fight is always there.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Have you tried this yet, Neil, I've not.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I was excited to see this. It's featuring the layers
- 4:07Speaker 2: of Cantina Chicken that they have black beans, green chili sauce,
- 4:11Speaker 2: it's got cheese, and of course those two tortilla shells
- 4:14Speaker 2: that are deep fried, and then it's topped again with
- 4:18Speaker 2: Cantina chicken. They're signature shredded purple cabbage fresh pico de gayo.
- 4:25Speaker 2: So it's going to be interesting. And they have a
- 4:30Speaker 2: new Cantina Chicken rolled Quesadia as well. But I think
- 4:33Speaker 2: this new Mexican pizza looks tasty. I really like the
- 4:38Speaker 2: Mexican pizzas. I know there's nothing really Mexican about them,
- 4:41Speaker 2: but they sure are tasty to me.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Describe Cantina Chicken.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Chicken is one of the one of their flavors. I
- 4:52Speaker 2: think it's kind of high in uh, citrus and those
- 4:56Speaker 2: types of things that they put in it. It just
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's their blend for this chicken that's not just grilled chicken.
- 5:07Speaker 2: How's that?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah? I mean, you can go to Mexican restaurant which
- 5:11Speaker 1: I do with one of my favorites, and I get
- 5:14Speaker 1: crispy tacos and there's that. Well, first of all, they're
- 5:18Speaker 1: not inexpensive, and you get very greasy, by the way,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and when they do their crispy tacos and Mexican restaurants. Yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 1: but aren't the tortilla shells also deep fried that are
- 5:31Speaker 1: produced by Taco Bell, Del Taco other fast food establishments.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yes, but often pre.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, of course they're pre fried.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But often if you're buying them fresh at a you know,
- 5:49Speaker 2: a regular restaurant, they're deep frying them to order.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah, absolutely, But it's just a question of taste.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So I have to go for that. Well, long time boys,
- 6:02Speaker 1: it's been a while since I heard that song. Great song,
- 6:07Speaker 1: but handle here. That is the question, where have all
- 6:11Speaker 1: the flowers gone? Well, we'll tell you, or Neil will
- 6:15Speaker 1: tell you, where have all the flowers gone? Long time passing.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yes, we continue to look for one of the most
- 6:22Speaker 2: important important building blocks that we consume, and that is protein.
- 6:28Speaker 2: And of course, the cost of traditional meat protein like
- 6:34Speaker 2: cow and beef and all of that is very high.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Even with you stuff that I'm not thrilled about, like
- 6:41Speaker 2: factory farming. The cost still is high to feed and
- 6:47Speaker 2: all of these things, so the different universities and the
- 6:52Speaker 2: like continue to search for better, easier, cheaper proteins, and
- 6:57Speaker 2: researchers at the University of Georgia are studying marrigolds, so
- 7:02Speaker 2: marrigold flowers and looking them as potential plant based protein source.
- 7:07Speaker 2: The estimated forty percent of merrigold production currently goes to waste,
- 7:12Speaker 2: so what they're looking to do is use that you
- 7:16Speaker 2: can't really call it byproduct. It's genuinely waste that find
- 7:22Speaker 2: a way to extract merrigold proteins they can. They include
- 7:27Speaker 2: all kinds of important things that cause the umami flavor
- 7:32Speaker 2: that's you get that from MSG, you get that from
- 7:36Speaker 2: certain foods that it really just makes things taste savory.
- 7:43Speaker 2: So they have it has a lot of emultifying properties,
- 7:47Speaker 2: which is good. Its heat stability is up to two
- 7:51Speaker 2: hundred and twenty one degrees fahrenheit, and all these different
- 7:55Speaker 2: characteristics bill could make them super useful in products like
- 7:59Speaker 2: salad dressing, dairy alternatives, baked goods and uh. It's just
- 8:04Speaker 2: an unconventional source that they're starting to poke around and
- 8:07Speaker 2: look into.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Hey can you do a double hit of both plant
- 8:12Speaker 1: and animal protein with a venus fly trap.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess you could a little bit of a
- 8:19Speaker 2: little bit of bug protein in there.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Well, that's that's my absolute favorite flower. Venus fly trap.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You know you can pick those up off in at
- 8:27Speaker 2: like grocery stores and stuff.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Venus fly traps.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we used to. We used to get them here
- 8:32Speaker 2: and bring them to the house all the time for Max.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you can. Don't you ever put your I don't
- 8:36Speaker 1: if you ever put your finger in one, But they
- 8:39Speaker 1: nibble at your finger. It's like goldfish when you put them.
- 8:44Speaker 2: They're to watch. Oh, I love semi transparents. So when
- 8:48Speaker 2: it's got a fly in there, you can see the bulge,
- 8:51Speaker 2: the dark bulge in the middle of it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Very strong. Okay, the Force meat sandwich. Have no idea
- 8:58Speaker 1: what that's about.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I figured you wouldn't. But a lot of people are
- 9:02Speaker 2: hyped for the new Mandalorian and gro Goo movie coming
- 9:07Speaker 2: out on the twenty second. And of course, because not
- 9:11Speaker 2: only as Jon Favreau, you know, a big fan of
- 9:16Speaker 2: Star Wars, he's also a big fan of cooking. And
- 9:21Speaker 2: so there is a sandwich that is tied to the film,
- 9:24Speaker 2: and it is this forced meat sandwich. And you know
- 9:30Speaker 2: a lot of the food stuffs in movies like gosh,
- 9:35Speaker 2: what's one that come to my like butter beer, for instance,
- 9:38Speaker 2: the butter beer drink from Harry Potter series became very big.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Blue milk from Star Wars is big there at the parks.
- 9:48Speaker 2: But this new little sandwich is something you can make
- 9:54Speaker 2: at home. Now, they have a Mandalorian meal called the
- 9:58Speaker 2: Barbecue Bounty Whopper that is selling at Burger King now
- 10:05Speaker 2: as kind of a promotion for not a kind of
- 10:08Speaker 2: but an actual promotion for the Mandalorian and Grogo film
- 10:10Speaker 2: coming out on the twenty second. But this Mandalorian food
- 10:15Speaker 2: pod is in the movie and they stop to get
- 10:18Speaker 2: eight what they call a flat meat fry sandwich for
- 10:21Speaker 2: grogu and does it have frogs in it? It does
- 10:24Speaker 2: not have frogs in it. But Chef roy Choi worked
- 10:28Speaker 2: with director Jon Favreau again who is probably a chef
- 10:32Speaker 2: in his own right at this point after making the
- 10:34Speaker 2: movie chef sandwich, which has it looks to me like
- 10:40Speaker 2: it is made with spam and caramelized onions. Butter, olive oil, salt,
- 10:50Speaker 2: corned beef or hot dogs could also be used, but
- 10:53Speaker 2: it looks like this is spam and some cheese or queso,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and it looks pretty tasty to me on a roll.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Spam now, spam, Now I happen to like spam. I'm
- 11:08Speaker 1: one of those few people that actually like the flavor
- 11:10Speaker 1: of spam. And they have a reduced sodium spam, which
- 11:16Speaker 1: because there's spam so much salt, it has so much salt.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's horrible for you.
- 11:24Speaker 2: You take one bite and you blow it up and
- 11:27Speaker 2: you retain.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, is good.
- 11:29Speaker 2: My brother Scott, for Mother's Day made these really great
- 11:32Speaker 2: little spam sandwiches with you know, some mayo on there
- 11:37Speaker 2: and some mustard. They were very, very tasty.
- 11:40Speaker 1: You know what I want to do. I think I'm
- 11:41Speaker 1: gonna go to the store and get some spam. Having
- 11:43Speaker 1: in a very long time, there.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Is no way your wife is going to let you
- 11:48Speaker 2: bring spam into the house.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Oh, I know, I'll have to sneak it through. But spam.
- 11:53Speaker 1: When you go to Guam or you go to Hawaii,
- 11:56Speaker 1: everything is spam over their spam pizzas. And why is that?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Because during World War Two, when fresh meat was not
- 12:04Speaker 1: available and everything was restricted and rationed, spam was the
- 12:11Speaker 1: meal of all time and they love it over there.
- 12:14Speaker 2: They have spam sushi over there. Yeah, I know, I know,
- 12:20Speaker 2: but it doesn't that very tasty.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Doesn't that sound good? Yes? Yeah, a spam and eggs
- 12:28Speaker 1: as meat dish. Okay, fair enough, We are completely done
- 12:33Speaker 1: with foody Friday. Quick Word Tomorrow Saturday, two to five pm.
- 12:39Speaker 1: The Fork Report and where is it going to be broadcast?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Still be out in Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks tomorrow. We
- 12:47Speaker 2: never get out there. This is the first time. We'll
- 12:49Speaker 2: be at Wild Fork Foods on the corner of T Boulevard,
- 12:53Speaker 2: Thousand Oaks Boulevard there and Westlake Boulevard and come out
- 12:59Speaker 2: to Wild four Foods. The folks from Big Green Egg
- 13:02Speaker 2: will be out there. We'll have giveaways, food for you
- 13:05Speaker 2: to enjoy, all kinds of fun things. Two to four
- 13:08Speaker 2: live tomorrow.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, great fun at those events. I go to most
- 13:14Speaker 1: of them and they are tremendous. Fine. Okay, Ask candle anything.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Same rules always apply. You record the questions and Neil
- 13:23Speaker 1: chooses the questions of which I answer, and I have
- 13:28Speaker 1: no idea what the questions are, so it is spontaneous. Okay, COONO,
- 13:33Speaker 1: first question.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Hi Bill for ask Candle anything you know. With the
- 13:37Speaker 3: space being in news with artemists and all that, I
- 13:39Speaker 3: was curious if Jeff Bezos offered a Black Friday sale
- 13:43Speaker 3: on Blue Origin flight, say for one day only flight
- 13:46Speaker 3: sale for one hundred thousand dollars, do you think you'd
- 13:49Speaker 3: partake of it?
- 13:50Speaker 2: Thanks a lot.
- 13:52Speaker 1: No. The answer to go to space no, No, desire
- 13:56Speaker 1: to go to space none. I maybe in the minority.
- 14:00Speaker 1: But if people, oh, I want to be weightless, you know,
- 14:03Speaker 1: get on a fast elevator, I enjoy yourself. You're a
- 14:08Speaker 1: really good roller coaster and you're weightless. All right. No,
- 14:12Speaker 1: not interested at all in going to space. And one
- 14:16Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars. H yeah, boy, I'd spend one hundred
- 14:20Speaker 1: thousand dollars in going to space. Honest to god, I
- 14:24Speaker 1: wouldn't spend one hundred thousand dollars on surgery if my
- 14:27Speaker 1: kids were dying, much less going into space.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Lindsey might spend that money for you to go into space.
- 14:33Speaker 1: She might. That's true. Okay, next question.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Good morning, Bill. Do your daughters appreciate your personality and
- 14:41Speaker 4: your sense of humor?
- 14:42Speaker 2: But do they also ask you to shut the hell.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Up when you're introduced to one of their friends.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The answer is sort of. And when particularly Pamela, she'll
- 14:55Speaker 1: I'll say something on the phone and she'll go enough, stop,
- 14:59Speaker 1: that's enough, heard it all. Much like what Neil does
- 15:03Speaker 1: in the morning, and much like what An does in
- 15:05Speaker 1: the morning, and that is stop it, stop.
- 15:09Speaker 2: It and no, no, no, no, no.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I think Barbara appreciates my humor more than I do.
- 15:18Speaker 1: But she also appreciates, you mean, using my credit card,
- 15:21Speaker 1: more than Pamela does. So next question, Good morning, Bill.
- 15:28Speaker 5: I've enjoyed listening to you for many years and I
- 15:31Speaker 5: was wondering, do you ever regret having gotten a divorce?
- 15:35Speaker 5: You guys spent many years together, and there's something to
- 15:38Speaker 5: be said for growing old together.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Just my thought, No, I don't regret it. I mean
- 15:45Speaker 1: we moved in different directions, which happens, and do I
- 15:50Speaker 1: regret it. No, But we're still very amicable. We talk
- 15:54Speaker 1: a lot, and the divorce was completely non contested. You
- 16:00Speaker 1: were just she knew that I was going to take
- 16:04Speaker 1: care of her, which allowed me, by the ways, and
- 16:07Speaker 1: she didn't question anything to screw her out of so
- 16:12Speaker 1: much money during the divorce that it is mind boggling.
- 16:20Speaker 2: You got her the loveliest refrigerator cardboard box. She could.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yes, I absolutely did. Okay. Another question.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I'm just wondering before you married Lindsey, after you divorced
- 16:39Speaker 4: your first wife, were there any dates or companionship in between,
- 16:45Speaker 4: or you using call girls?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Call girls? Okay? Uh no, And I'll tell you why. Okay,
- 16:57Speaker 1: because I couldn't nine one that would have sex with
- 17:02Speaker 1: me for five dollars. I mean I tried, but it
- 17:06Speaker 1: didn't work out.
- 17:07Speaker 6: No.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I have never ever used or participated in hookers in
- 17:13Speaker 1: my life. And I'll tell you why. Here's my fear.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I go out there on a Saturday night, and let's
- 17:19Speaker 1: say I go to Santa Monica Boulevard and I meet
- 17:23Speaker 1: a young lady of that particular ilk and Hi, my
- 17:28Speaker 1: name is Bill, and we talk. She looks at her
- 17:30Speaker 1: watch and says, you know, it's been a pretty good
- 17:33Speaker 1: Saturday night. I have to tell you, I'm pretty satisfied
- 17:37Speaker 1: with what's happened to night. Have a good day. I
- 17:40Speaker 1: am the only person that I know that that happens
- 17:43Speaker 1: to I, and I'm very proud of the fact I
- 17:46Speaker 1: could not get laid with a fistful of one hundred
- 17:49Speaker 1: dollars bills in Tijuana, and I am very proud of that.
- 17:55Speaker 1: So the answer is no.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I like now visual of her closing girly. You know,
- 18:00Speaker 2: it's been a good night. I was thinking of getting
- 18:03Speaker 2: in early, putting on some pj's, taking the wig off
- 18:07Speaker 2: pretty much.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Okay, Kno, why don't we go to the next question?
- 18:12Speaker 4: Hey, Bill, it's Katie from Squirrel Hollow. Have you ever
- 18:15Speaker 4: left a Costco without having spent any money?
- 18:21Speaker 1: No? How can you? Who goes? Well, yeah, I actually have,
- 18:28Speaker 1: now that I think about it. I go sightseeing at Costco.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Not too many people do, but yeah, I actually have.
- 18:38Speaker 1: It's kind of embarrassing when I do that. They look
- 18:41Speaker 1: at me very strangely. But yeah, yeah. Sometimes I go
- 18:45Speaker 1: and I think they have something that I want and
- 18:47Speaker 1: they don't. Sometimes they are out of something, or I'm
- 18:52Speaker 1: looking for something that's been around for a long time
- 18:56Speaker 1: and they're no longer there, so I leave. Some times
- 19:00Speaker 1: I go when I'm bored with life. I'm one of
- 19:03Speaker 1: the few people that love going to Costco and are
- 19:05Speaker 1: not bored by just walking around. Sometimes I go when
- 19:07Speaker 1: I want to get into fistfights with little Korean ladies
- 19:11Speaker 1: as we fight over the samples. Yeah, the answer is yes, that's.
- 19:16Speaker 2: The that urge a lot to fight with Korean ladies,
- 19:20Speaker 2: do you.
- 19:20Speaker 7: Uh?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah, only when I'm driving. H Well, I'm not am
- 19:25Speaker 1: I allowed to say that now that you know what
- 19:27Speaker 1: I shouldn't say that. What I meant was Chinese ladies. Okay,
- 19:33Speaker 1: moving on.
- 19:35Speaker 8: Because I've been listening to you since the mid eighties
- 19:37Speaker 8: on KBC Radio, decades of voluntary suffering. Give it up
- 19:41Speaker 8: the consistency of nothing else. My one long standing issue
- 19:44Speaker 8: with you is the way you treated your mother on air.
- 19:47Speaker 8: That sweet lady would call in with a gentle little hello,
- 19:50Speaker 8: b U, and you could practically hit a love radiating
- 19:53Speaker 8: through the phone. Meanwhile, you're responded with the kind of
- 19:56Speaker 8: more most people reserved for attacks about it. I'm curious
- 19:58Speaker 8: to know we're all the spitten comes from.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Okay, First of all, when you heard my mother go,
- 20:07Speaker 1: you know being it wasn't my mother, it was somebody else.
- 20:13Speaker 1: And you know I haven't been, you know, particularly nice
- 20:17Speaker 1: about my mother. But then if she were your mother,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I think you'd be in the same position, although I
- 20:25Speaker 1: am a much nicer her now that she's dead. No, actually,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I'm not am I neil.
- 20:30Speaker 2: No, No, you've meant never been nice to her, I know.
- 20:35Speaker 1: And now that doesn't matter because I'm not nice to anyone,
- 20:38Speaker 1: so I don't differentiate my mother, who is completely dead,
- 20:42Speaker 1: with anybody else.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Okay, Bill, I know this will probably date me, but
- 20:49Speaker 7: I remember as a kid, and I'm talking about the
- 20:52Speaker 7: sixty seventies that radio stations would often give the time
- 20:57Speaker 7: of the day, whether it be the BROADCA was the
- 21:00Speaker 7: GJA or whoever the broadcaster was there, the news person.
- 21:03Speaker 7: Why don't you guys give the time of the day.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Because we don't have the time of the day to
- 21:10Speaker 1: give you the time of the day. There's actually a
- 21:12Speaker 1: good reason for it, Okay, a little inside baseball about radio.
- 21:17Speaker 1: We are on a delay at here at the radio station,
- 21:21Speaker 1: as most are, so as I'm looking at the clock,
- 21:25Speaker 1: I can't think it through that it's actually not that minute.
- 21:29Speaker 1: So we're always a minute off, and that's why we
- 21:32Speaker 1: just don't do it. It used to be where we
- 21:34Speaker 1: would do it. And then the date, well I still
- 21:36Speaker 1: give the date. It's Friday, May fifteenth, And I want
- 21:40Speaker 1: to point something out. Have you noticed how many people
- 21:42Speaker 1: say they've been listening to me for twenty five years
- 21:44Speaker 1: or longer, and it is. The good news is thank god,
- 21:48Speaker 1: they're dying on me. You know, good you're dying and
- 21:52Speaker 1: thank you, or you're too demented to remember that you
- 21:55Speaker 1: were listening to me, Neil, Do you do those on
- 21:58Speaker 1: purpose just to embarrass me and make fun of my age?
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yes?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Okay, see there you go. Uh yeah, people come up.
- 22:08Speaker 1: When people come up and they used to say to me,
- 22:11Speaker 1: you know, I've been listening to you for fifteen years. Oh,
- 22:13Speaker 1: thank you, that's very kind. I've been listening to you
- 22:15Speaker 1: for ten years. That's really kind of you. Now when
- 22:19Speaker 1: they go twenty five years, I don't even let them
- 22:21Speaker 1: do twenty five years. As soon as they say I've
- 22:24Speaker 1: been listening to four. Shut up. I'm not inserted in
- 22:27Speaker 1: hearing it. Just shut up. And here's the one though.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I'm a huge my mom is a huge fan of yours.
- 22:34Speaker 2: God rest your soul.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Oh God, let me tell you how depressing it gets
- 22:38Speaker 1: when I just had this happen at the gym a
- 22:40Speaker 1: few days ago. My parents love you, and this is
- 22:47Speaker 1: someone in their twenties, even thirties. My parents love you. Well.
- 22:53Speaker 1: How about your grandparents? Oh, they love you even more. Okay,
- 22:57Speaker 1: it's fine to bloy.
- 22:58Speaker 2: My grandma loves you. She's ninety four.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's see, that's what happens, and that part is distressing,
- 23:06Speaker 1: it really is. Okay, one more real quick one.
- 23:10Speaker 6: Hey, this one is for the crew. I know that
- 23:12Speaker 6: Bill is always eating Zelman's works in your gut. I
- 23:15Speaker 6: was just wondering, Uh, does it work also through his butt?
- 23:22Speaker 1: It's like you haven't heard that one in every week? Yeah?
- 23:25Speaker 1: You clever, clever man.
- 23:27Speaker 2: You well, I'm trying to think when we're in studio together,
- 23:32Speaker 2: it would only be me and Anne in there. I
- 23:37Speaker 2: don't remember you doing that studio.
- 23:40Speaker 1: No, I don't. Yeah, I don't. I don't. And when
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'm Zelman so yeah, I mean, does it work?
- 23:45Speaker 3: You know?
- 23:45Speaker 1: But you get tired of vote ooh? Also, can you
- 23:48Speaker 1: handle it? I've never heard that before. Does Selman's work
- 23:52Speaker 1: with you in your butt?
- 23:54Speaker 6: No?
- 23:54Speaker 1: I haven't heard that before either.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Don't you hate when people repeat the same jokes over
- 23:59Speaker 2: and over and over and now over and over and
- 24:01Speaker 2: over again and over and get paid handsomely for it?
- 24:04Speaker 1: Neil, twenty five hours a week for over thirty years.
- 24:11Speaker 1: You think you're gonna hear something twice? We're done? Guys.
- 24:15Speaker 1: That's it. Tomorrow morning, it's Handle on the Law at
- 24:19Speaker 1: eight o'clock, Neil. Two to five, Neil, very quickly, where
- 24:22Speaker 1: are you going to be? Go to be out in
- 24:24Speaker 1: Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks on the corner of Thousand Oaks
- 24:28Speaker 1: Boulevard and Westlake Boulevard at Wild Fork Foods. Come join
- 24:32Speaker 1: me there two to five tomorrow. Okay, we're done. On Monday,
- 24:36Speaker 1: we start all over again with the same crew. It's
- 24:39Speaker 1: always fun, same time, same station. I get the way
- 24:43Speaker 1: from Will and Neil and the others don't even care.
