Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Chuck Norris was chasing the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- 0:05Speaker 1: The rex was not chasing the jeep. Murray, Murray, you there.
- 0:09Speaker 1: You love sandwiches. Huh, Let's go to eighty. It was
- 0:14Speaker 1: bo wow that Prime Time. Maybe I had a crush
- 0:18Speaker 1: on Betty Rubbell.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I honestly, until after the segment ended and we went
- 0:22Speaker 2: to commercial break, had no idea that Jonathan Coachman was black.
- 0:25Speaker 1: He caught them the game last night, although they won
- 0:28Speaker 1: the game. You're listening to Stu Gottson Company.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Stu Gottson Company, presented by FanDuel and the FanDuel sportsbook
- 0:36Speaker 2: The Knicks or NBA champions.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I have been waiting to say that my.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Entire life, first world championship for any of my sports
- 0:44Speaker 2: teams since nineteen eighty six. It's been a bad trap.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Taylor is, Yes, since nineteen eighty six.
- 0:51Speaker 1: You made a face there.
- 0:52Speaker 2: You were shocked by that the last time any of
- 0:54Speaker 2: my fourteens won a title was the New York Mets
- 0:58Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty six.
- 1:00Speaker 1: That I'm shocked.
- 1:01Speaker 3: I didn't know you were that big of a Carolina
- 1:03Speaker 3: Hurricanes fan. No, yeah, I didn't really think about it,
- 1:07Speaker 3: because you know, You obviously talk about the Jets a lot,
- 1:10Speaker 3: and you know the Knicks, you sort of in and
- 1:12Speaker 3: out on them because they hadn't won in so long.
- 1:15Speaker 3: But I didn't even think about your other teams, And yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 3: I guess it's the Islanders, right, was the last time
- 1:20Speaker 3: your team won a championship?
- 1:21Speaker 1: So how's life different? It feels different. It does.
- 1:24Speaker 2: This particular team means so much to me and means
- 1:27Speaker 2: so much to that city.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It's so much to.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So many people that I care about that it was
- 1:32Speaker 2: so much fun to celebrate that thing and have my
- 1:34Speaker 2: family alongside with me, have my daughters right next to
- 1:37Speaker 2: me as the Knicks were winning an NBA championship, to
- 1:40Speaker 2: celebrate with them. They're not Knicks fans, but they're rooting
- 1:43Speaker 2: for their dad to be happy, and so it was
- 1:45Speaker 2: a very cool moment for me. But I'm guessing Taylor
- 1:48Speaker 2: had cooler moments than I had because I'm a grown man,
- 1:51Speaker 2: I'm a dad, i have two kids. I'm old Taylor
- 1:53Speaker 2: not in New York to celebrate this thing. Taylor put
- 1:56Speaker 2: us there. You have said that Jalen Brunton has changed
- 1:59Speaker 2: your life. You have written five songs about Jalen Brunson,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and yesterday you texted me saying, I still can't believe
- 2:06Speaker 2: this happened. So the hairtailer, as the clock was winding down,
- 2:12Speaker 2: of the Knicks, we're winning.
- 2:13Speaker 1: An NBA champions Close your eyes. Imagine Karl Anthony Towns
- 2:15Speaker 1: as an NBA champion. Can you do it yet?
- 2:19Speaker 4: So when Josh Hart is at the free throw line
- 2:22Speaker 4: and they're up by three and he just has to
- 2:25Speaker 4: make one to make it a two possession game, he
- 2:28Speaker 4: misses the free throw, Mitchell Robinson grabs the ball and
- 2:32Speaker 4: throws it back. My body in this bar went full
- 2:37Speaker 4: limp to the ground. I had to be I had
- 2:41Speaker 4: to be scooped up like melted ice cream or yello.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Like my bones lost all off structure in them, and
- 2:50Speaker 4: I was. I was just there until the final whistle.
- 2:53Speaker 4: It feels it feels like I am going to wake
- 2:57Speaker 4: up like any second, like like this all has been
- 3:00Speaker 4: a dream. I didn't think for a second that I
- 3:03Speaker 4: would ever see this team win a title like I
- 3:05Speaker 4: was in the I was strong in the This team
- 3:08Speaker 4: cannot win as long as James Dolan is running the
- 3:11Speaker 4: organization camp Credit to James Dolan. He handed the keys
- 3:15Speaker 4: over to Leon Roads. Leon Rose built a great team. Yeah,
- 3:18Speaker 4: they pushed all the right buttons. Mckel bridges the Karl
- 3:22Speaker 4: Anthony Towns trade, firing Tom Thibodeaux for taking the team
- 3:26Speaker 4: to the Eastern Conference Finals and bringing Mike Brown, who
- 3:29Speaker 4: the expectation for Mike Brown is, Hey, you have to
- 3:32Speaker 4: get this team to the NBA Finals in your first
- 3:34Speaker 4: year here, and they did it. Yeah, it's just still surreal.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Talking about it.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Izzy, It's fairly amazing that you fire a coach that
- 3:42Speaker 2: gets you to the Eastern Conference Finals, further than you've
- 3:45Speaker 2: ever been before, and the only way to top it
- 3:47Speaker 2: is by making it to the NBA Finals. Not only
- 3:50Speaker 2: did Mike Brown top it by making it to the
- 3:52Speaker 2: NBA Finals. Think about how crazy this is. There's only
- 3:56Speaker 2: two scenarios too, Well, there's really only one in which
- 3:59Speaker 2: Mike Brown is considered a success, and it's the scenario
- 4:03Speaker 2: that just played out right in front of our eyes.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It's pretty insane, Yeah, it is.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And for Mike Brown to be put in that position,
- 4:11Speaker 3: to even take that position knowing what was you know,
- 4:15Speaker 3: what was the standard by James Dolan. The only way
- 4:18Speaker 3: to make yourself look good. Because even if they did
- 4:20Speaker 3: make it to the finals and lose this one. It's
- 4:23Speaker 3: not like it would be okay. It's not like they
- 4:24Speaker 3: would say, Okay, he did his job, now we're good forever.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It'd be like, all right, next year, we have to
- 4:29Speaker 3: win it. And so it was only one option. Then
- 4:32Speaker 3: there was There was a lot about this game, in
- 4:34Speaker 3: particular before you get to the big picture. Man, the
- 4:37Speaker 3: Spurs love giving up offensive rebounds with the title on
- 4:39Speaker 3: the line.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah they did.
- 4:41Speaker 3: They did it to Chris Bush and Ray Allen and
- 4:44Speaker 3: this one here, and it's just like, what is Wemby
- 4:47Speaker 3: if he's if seven to four can't get a rebound
- 4:49Speaker 3: at the free throw line, like it's right.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And giving up the rebounds just Wemby and Tim Duncan
- 4:54Speaker 1: for sure, I mean it's crazy.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Well Tim with out of the game, but also Becky Hammond,
- 5:00Speaker 3: this is why I don't give takes that hard.
- 5:02Speaker 1: This is why my takes.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Are a little bit more mellow, because if you say
- 5:07Speaker 3: something like that, that will live forever. The Knicks will
- 5:10Speaker 3: never celebrate a championship without mocking Becky Hammond for her
- 5:13Speaker 3: ridiculous take.
- 5:15Speaker 4: And Jalen Brunson was three and zero this finals in
- 5:17Speaker 4: the building where Becky Hammond's jersey frames that that irony
- 5:22Speaker 4: is not lost on this entire fan base. Isy I
- 5:25Speaker 4: think the crazy thing is is when like, even in
- 5:30Speaker 4: my lifetime as a Knicks fan, if I thought like
- 5:33Speaker 4: how the Knicks would have had to win a title,
- 5:35Speaker 4: it would have had been Lebron comes to bail this
- 5:38Speaker 4: team out, Kevin Durant comes to bail this team out,
- 5:40Speaker 4: Kyrie Irving comes to bail this team out. They did
- 5:43Speaker 4: it with an undersized guard that grew up in Madison
- 5:47Speaker 4: Square Garden that every media member shit on when they
- 5:51Speaker 4: signed him, that took one hundred and thirteen million dollar
- 5:54Speaker 4: pay cut on his second contract to help build a
- 5:56Speaker 4: championship level team. And you could even expand it further
- 5:59Speaker 4: past the the Jalen Brunton factor, Like Jalen Brunson was
- 6:04Speaker 4: too small, Karl Anthony Towns was too soft, Josh Hart
- 6:07Speaker 4: couldn't be a starter on a championship level team. Mckel
- 6:10Speaker 4: Bridges wasn't worth five first round picks. Mike Brown can't
- 6:13Speaker 4: win the big games like the way this team did.
- 6:16Speaker 4: It feels better, like it's it's hard to compare, like
- 6:21Speaker 4: what a championship would have felt like but the way
- 6:23Speaker 4: this team did it feels better than if somebody like
- 6:26Speaker 4: Lebron just came and through the organizational life raft.
- 6:30Speaker 1: He's emotional, he's very excited today.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I just want to point out, I want is he
- 6:34Speaker 2: to respond to this, but we still haven't gotten the
- 6:37Speaker 2: tailor just collapsing on the four of a bar.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But I still don't think mikel Bridges is worth five
- 6:44Speaker 1: first round picks.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I'm sorry, you could have every pick until the rest
- 6:49Speaker 4: of my life right now.
- 6:51Speaker 3: That's exactly the point, like it doesn't matter. It's no
- 6:54Speaker 3: longer a mockable trade is. You can't mock the trade anymore.
- 6:57Speaker 3: You can't mock Carly again. The Jailer Brunson signing has
- 7:02Speaker 3: already been justified a long time ago, But that the
- 7:05Speaker 3: mockery with that came because it was the Knicks, right
- 7:08Speaker 3: It was like, oh, here go the Knicks thinking they're
- 7:11Speaker 3: doing something great by signing this dude's son, you know
- 7:13Speaker 3: what I mean.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It just felt weird, especially with Leon Rose.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Putting together the team, and it was just like, wait
- 7:18Speaker 3: a second, I used to call that guy. He was
- 7:19Speaker 3: an agent, and so now he's putting together the team.
- 7:21Speaker 3: It just felt odd. And then to do it with
- 7:25Speaker 3: that amount of pressure on Mike Brown is like this
- 7:28Speaker 3: great crazy pressure release.
- 7:30Speaker 1: But it is the difference.
- 7:31Speaker 3: And frankly, I don't know if I can say I
- 7:35Speaker 3: experienced the same thing right obviously, as I'm just gonna
- 7:38Speaker 3: eliminate myself as a writer and just say I was
- 7:40Speaker 3: a fan at the time.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Right, The Heat two.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Thousand and six title felt organic, even though it came
- 7:47Speaker 3: with Shaq, right, like Shad had to get here to
- 7:50Speaker 3: get it. Obviously, the two with Lebron, they built something
- 7:53Speaker 3: and it felt like, you know, us against the world,
- 7:55Speaker 3: But it didn't feel organic, right, this one, as much
- 7:58Speaker 3: as it's not a bunch of draft picks that you know,
- 8:00Speaker 3: the Knicks have raised on their own, it still felt
- 8:03Speaker 3: like they built a team that did that was a
- 8:06Speaker 3: championship team. The build was different than other than other
- 8:10Speaker 3: people's models, right, Like you said, the undersized guard and
- 8:13Speaker 3: can cant win a championship? And can they do it
- 8:15Speaker 3: with all these wings that are probably overpaid, And they did,
- 8:19Speaker 3: and they did it under or behind Jalen Brunson, Which
- 8:22Speaker 3: is my whole take on this is you got to
- 8:24Speaker 3: have somebody who sort of elevates, who sort of just
- 8:28Speaker 3: is that guy who is a championship level mentality and
- 8:31Speaker 3: Jalen Brunton has that and he has the ability, and
- 8:34Speaker 3: so it didn't matter that he shot thirty percent for
- 8:37Speaker 3: the first few games. The guy was going to figure
- 8:39Speaker 3: it out and have at least one game like this,
- 8:41Speaker 3: and here it was in a closeout and the guy special.
- 8:44Speaker 3: He's just one hundred percent a special player.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Since the merger, there have been two guys who have
- 8:49Speaker 2: had forty five points in a closeout game, Jalen Brunson
- 8:54Speaker 2: and Michael Jordan.
- 8:55Speaker 1: In the finals. It's crazy.
- 8:59Speaker 3: And the thing is is like, analytically, the Spurs dominated
- 9:04Speaker 3: that series.
- 9:05Speaker 1: At least you look back how often they were up double.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Is he Atkinson over here? I mean geez, it was.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Crazy how often they had the lead and it didn't matter.
- 9:15Speaker 3: And it reminded me of Heat Thunder in twenty twelve,
- 9:20Speaker 3: where the Thunder could take a seventeen point lead in
- 9:23Speaker 3: the first quarter on the road in Miami and it
- 9:26Speaker 3: was like, no big deal, we know how to answer this,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and that's what it Spurs. That's what it felt like
- 9:29Speaker 3: for the Knicks every game in this series.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Is he when is the analytic parade through San Antonio.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Did they schedule that yet or when is that happening?
- 9:38Speaker 1: Who's up that parade? Bunch of nerds? Teddy Atkinson, Oh
- 9:42Speaker 1: of course he is, yes, Lead Carr.
- 9:48Speaker 4: So is you mentioned Jalen bruns What are you laughing at?
- 9:53Speaker 4: Just just thinking who would be at it? But is
- 9:56Speaker 4: you mentioned Jalen Brunson's ability to figure out a defense
- 9:59Speaker 4: the longer series goes. The first two games, he averages
- 10:02Speaker 4: twenty five points per game on thirty four percent from
- 10:05Speaker 4: the field twenty three percent from three. The last three
- 10:08Speaker 4: games of the series, he averaged thirty seven point seven
- 10:11Speaker 4: points per game on forty eight percent from the field
- 10:14Speaker 4: and fifty two percent from three. When the Knicks are
- 10:17Speaker 4: down by double digits, I get the thought that they've
- 10:21Speaker 4: been there before. But in that moment, my mind is
- 10:24Speaker 4: just thinking, here comes the Spurs comeback. They're they're they've
- 10:29Speaker 4: done it three times already. It's not gonna keep happening
- 10:32Speaker 4: like this. Eventually, the Spurs are gonna figure it out.
- 10:35Speaker 4: My mind's thinking, like the Knicks are gonna be the
- 10:37Speaker 4: ones that blow this three to one series. That's how
- 10:40Speaker 4: this ends. Even before like I started, my Knicks fandom
- 10:43Speaker 4: like before I was born. Like you have the Charles
- 10:45Speaker 4: Smith in nineteen ninety three, the John Stars two of
- 10:48Speaker 4: eighteen game in nineteen ninety four. Patrick Ewing is out
- 10:53Speaker 4: in the ninety nine finals. You have a twenty year
- 10:56Speaker 4: You have a twenty year gap of almost irrelevance sprinkled
- 11:00Speaker 4: in with Nate Robinson winning a couple of dunk contests,
- 11:04Speaker 4: Carmelo Anthony coming and winning one playoff series.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You still had fear in you because of all of that.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Isy the entire time, I'm just thinking I could see
- 11:13Speaker 4: how this ends. I see how next Friday, Game seven
- 11:17Speaker 4: in San Antonio. I'm back out in New York City
- 11:21Speaker 4: and my heart is absolutely breaking.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Now, now go back, go back to when Jalen Brunson
- 11:27Speaker 3: missed that deep three and recognize how huge that little
- 11:34Speaker 3: tip in was, that touch from og that you know,
- 11:38Speaker 3: everything was perfect in that tip in, Because if that doesn't.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Go in, this series could be probably heading to what.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Game six, and yeah it's a Game seven would scare
- 11:50Speaker 3: the life out of you.
- 11:51Speaker 2: And so don't forget how important it was that Jalen
- 11:53Speaker 2: Brunson shot that shot with you know, five point six
- 11:56Speaker 2: seconds remaining on the clock, I mean perfect me, So
- 11:59Speaker 2: what was? Can I not think about what could have been?
- 12:03Speaker 2: And can I actually think about? What about reality and
- 12:06Speaker 2: the fact that the Knicks won a fucking NBA championship.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I don't care. We're better than the Spurs.
- 12:11Speaker 2: We beat him in five games and we have one
- 12:13Speaker 2: of the great runs of the NBA Playoffs in NBA history.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Why don't have to think about if og shot didn't
- 12:19Speaker 2: go in?
- 12:20Speaker 1: It would say if it didn't go in.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I'm just saying, don't we have to credit it and
- 12:23Speaker 3: give him Just recognize how huge that.
- 12:26Speaker 1: One tipping was because it changes everything I know. I'm
- 12:30Speaker 1: really I'm sorry. Is he cans? Whatever you want? Today? Man,
- 12:33Speaker 1: You've never experienced this, at least not since I've known you.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I've been embarrassed for two decades as a Nick fan.
- 12:38Speaker 2: This is the one day I've had in the last
- 12:40Speaker 2: two decades where I don't have to think about what
- 12:42Speaker 2: could have happened, what should have happened, what could have been,
- 12:45Speaker 2: what happened happened, And we're NBA champions today and I'm
- 12:48Speaker 2: excited about it.
- 12:49Speaker 1: It's fun. Man, go ahead, Telan.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Nobody maybe in sports history, has ever called their shot
- 12:56Speaker 4: the way I did with Jalen Brunson.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Jeez, I.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Stood ten toes down with Jalen Brunson from the moment
- 13:08Speaker 4: they signed him, when Dan Patrick and Nick Wright and
- 13:12Speaker 4: all these all these stephen A. Smith are making a
- 13:15Speaker 4: mockery of the Knicks signing him, doing the Lol Knicks,
- 13:19Speaker 4: the same old Knicks. I said, this guy is going
- 13:22Speaker 4: to change my life. And you know what this guy did.
- 13:25Speaker 4: This guy came to New York in the biggest market
- 13:28Speaker 4: and absolutely changed this city and my life.
- 13:34Speaker 1: He has everybody's back.
- 13:35Speaker 3: You see him in being interviewed by Monica McNutt, and
- 13:38Speaker 3: he's like basically told the Swifties to relax because don't
- 13:42Speaker 3: go crazy after Monica because Monica called Swifty not a.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Real Knicks fan. Like, he's got everybody's back. The guy's
- 13:48Speaker 1: are the king of New York. He really is.
- 13:52Speaker 2: He didn't just change your life, he changed many people's life.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Taylor, I want to what's the matter? You want to
- 13:59Speaker 1: say something I.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Was gonna say at the minimum. Brunson is the third
- 14:04Speaker 4: best NBA free agent signing of all time. It's it's
- 14:08Speaker 4: the conversation for the best is Shack in ninety six? Yeah,
- 14:11Speaker 4: Lebron in twenty ten, Jalen Brunson in twenty twenty two.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Here's the argument for why Jalen Brunson's number one. He
- 14:18Speaker 4: did it in New York. That's really the only argument
- 14:20Speaker 4: you really need.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's a strong case, and he didn't.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know if he should get that
- 14:28Speaker 3: much credit for the organization's failures in the past. I
- 14:30Speaker 3: know it helps your guys's feelings, but in terms of
- 14:33Speaker 3: just zooming out and saying what he did in general,
- 14:36Speaker 3: I still think it's Shack number one. But I think
- 14:39Speaker 3: this one comes with the amount of surprise. Nobody knew
- 14:42Speaker 3: this was happening. Nobody had Jalen Brunson already.
- 14:45Speaker 1: John.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I almost called you John again, man, dude, because nobody
- 14:51Speaker 3: had him better than Chris Paul. And now you can
- 14:53Speaker 3: say for life he's better than Chris Paul, which I'm
- 14:55Speaker 3: sure you can have a good time saying that.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I will. I say it with delights, I say it
- 14:59Speaker 1: with pride. I am proud to say that he has.
- 15:01Speaker 2: One more ring than the person that many people consider
- 15:04Speaker 2: it to be a top five point guard of all time,
- 15:06Speaker 2: and he's not. I mean, all the great point guards
- 15:08Speaker 2: throughout the course of history have won NBA championships, with
- 15:11Speaker 2: the exception of Chris Paul.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Why because he's not great. I don't know why I'm
- 15:15Speaker 1: taking shots at.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Chris Paul today. I don't need to be taking shot
- 15:18Speaker 2: Chris Paul today. Jalen Brunton is an NBA champion.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Well, let's take a shot at a couple of Spurs
- 15:24Speaker 1: then if you don't mind, well.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Well, hold on, hold on a second, is he I
- 15:27Speaker 2: wanted to ask you because it is funny with san Antonio.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And I really don't want to take shots at the
- 15:33Speaker 1: Spurs today. I gotta be honest with you. Stare down on.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Jalen Brunson will forever live it in for me.
- 15:40Speaker 2: That guy is telling you when I say this lovingly,
- 15:44Speaker 2: you care about the stuff that me and Taylor don't
- 15:46Speaker 2: care about.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Today. I don't fuck the Spurs man. I was wearing
- 15:48Speaker 1: a Spur t shirt.
- 15:49Speaker 5: We got all off season for that.
- 15:51Speaker 6: We got all off season to take shots at the Spurs.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Even this guy, I'm in your head. I mean that
- 15:57Speaker 3: talk about a terrible look for him for life. That's
- 16:00Speaker 3: just gonna look ridiculous.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It's gonna do it Anyways, all right, back to the
- 16:05Speaker 2: Knicks dead now, go ahead, rip the Spurs.
- 16:07Speaker 5: I mean I just did.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I feel like I just good. I feel like I
- 16:11Speaker 1: just snucked that in there.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I have no idea if Victor Webb. I feel like
- 16:15Speaker 3: Victor Webbin Yam is gonna win his championships. But I
- 16:17Speaker 3: know it's not going to be beside the Aeron Fox
- 16:19Speaker 3: or Mitch Johnson.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Those guys gotta go so stu uh when the when
- 16:24Speaker 4: the game goes final. I love the videos that I
- 16:26Speaker 4: saw on your daughter's Instagram stories of you celebrating at
- 16:31Speaker 4: a bar going crazy in Chicago when that goes final.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I couldn't even like process what was happening. Like, I
- 16:40Speaker 4: saw a lot of Knicks fans like immediately just like
- 16:43Speaker 4: weeping and crying. There was a ton of hugging. I
- 16:46Speaker 4: was hugging anybody within a ten foot vicinity of me.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Was the bouncer.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I was hugging random people on the street and
- 16:56Speaker 4: they were sobbing in my shoulders. The first time that
- 16:59Speaker 4: I actually got emotional after like the initial wave of
- 17:04Speaker 4: like processing what even happened. Patrick Ewing wearing a title
- 17:09Speaker 4: hat the title hat and Jalen Brunson is letting him
- 17:14Speaker 4: hold the trophy, and John Starks is posting on his
- 17:19Speaker 4: Instagram story saying, like Mace, we did it.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Yeah, the Knicks did it.
- 17:25Speaker 4: It was like seeing a part of like the past
- 17:29Speaker 4: twenty seven years of Patrick Ewing's life being healed. And
- 17:33Speaker 4: that was the first time I got emotional. That was
- 17:35Speaker 4: the first cry ahead. The second cry I had was
- 17:37Speaker 4: a TikTok edit of Jose Alvarado just saying what it
- 17:41Speaker 4: means to him to be from New York City.
- 17:44Speaker 3: That one, not the clip of him say I'm gonna
- 17:47Speaker 3: go take a pill man, not that one.
- 17:49Speaker 2: No, I understand what you're saying. They healed the I'm
- 17:53Speaker 2: gonna take a pill. They heal Patrick Ewing. Yes, they
- 17:56Speaker 2: erased all of it. They erased, they exercised all the
- 17:58Speaker 2: team mis teller. Okay, they did all of that. I'll
- 18:01Speaker 2: still remind Patrick Ewing he never won a title.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird because like in two thousand and six,
- 18:06Speaker 3: like Glenn Rice wasn't on the floors celebrating with then
- 18:10Speaker 3: with the heat, like all these past team members like.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Taylor is gonna say this title, this title was for everyone.
- 18:17Speaker 2: This title was for everyone that came before Jalen Brunson.
- 18:21Speaker 2: That's how much he means to this organization. He didn't
- 18:23Speaker 2: win it for himself. He didn't win it for Bridges,
- 18:26Speaker 2: he didn't win it for Heart, he didn't win it
- 18:28Speaker 2: for Mike Brown. He won it for all the lousy
- 18:31Speaker 2: Knicks that came before him.
- 18:33Speaker 1: That's what he did.
- 18:35Speaker 4: If you played for the Knicks, you want a title
- 18:37Speaker 4: on Saturday. Patrick Ewing, congratulations on your title. Danilo Gallinari,
- 18:42Speaker 4: Congratulations on your Christoph Porzingis, congratulations on yours.
- 18:48Speaker 1: One.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Everybody gets a title, is he?
- 18:50Speaker 3: Everybody gets already has one.
- 18:53Speaker 5: This one means more for him.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Yes, it's a Knicks title, correct. Tracy McGrady gets the title.
- 19:00Speaker 4: He seemcgrady gets a title. Antonio mcdice gets a title.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Marcus Camby gets a title.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Right, Congratulations, Mark Jackson, way to go everyone.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Where do we draw the line on this? I mean,
- 19:09Speaker 2: who doesn't get a title?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Rod Strickland is an NBA champion today?
- 19:15Speaker 4: So I think the window is if you were on
- 19:18Speaker 4: the teams that made it to the finals, yes, from
- 19:21Speaker 4: ninety four on. If you were just a part of
- 19:25Speaker 4: that window, you get a title. So so Wilson Chandler, congratulations,
- 19:28Speaker 4: Chris Douhan, congratulations. Alonzo Trere congratulations.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I mean Treare woke up and had a ring. It's unbelievable.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Gave the exact Baker congratulations.
- 19:42Speaker 2: No, no, I get it. I understand everyone won a title.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I'm just wondering, can we establish an actual timeline here.
- 19:47Speaker 2: It's anyone who played what like for Riley and then
- 19:51Speaker 2: up to ninety nine, because no one of the last
- 19:53Speaker 2: two decades, including Carmelo Anthony, deserves to win a title.
- 19:56Speaker 4: Okay, everybody gets a title. From ninety four exactly ninety
- 20:00Speaker 4: four on, you get a title. The only person who
- 20:03Speaker 4: doesn't get a title is that rat pat Riley.
- 20:07Speaker 1: But you're setting the timeline from when he got there.
- 20:10Speaker 2: So no, no, And is he what he's doing is
- 20:12Speaker 2: he's rewarding some of the worst players in the history
- 20:15Speaker 2: of the Knicks organization. I don't want anyone over the
- 20:18Speaker 2: last twenty years to get a ring.
- 20:20Speaker 1: No, Rome James is a champion today.
- 20:22Speaker 6: Everything they did led to this moment.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I get it. Everything they did had a reason, There
- 20:27Speaker 1: was a reason for it. It was a reason.
- 20:29Speaker 5: May congratulations.
- 20:31Speaker 2: So those guys provided the lumps that made winning an
- 20:36Speaker 2: NBA title so special and made it feel so good,
- 20:39Speaker 2: so therefore were reward them for being so bad with
- 20:43Speaker 2: an NBA championship ring.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Okay, congratulations to everyone.
- 20:47Speaker 5: Forney Lee, Congratulations way to go.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Yes, what a name. Ron Baker's getting won.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Baker That was one of the easiest ones to hand out.
- 21:00Speaker 2: So it was weird when you talk about emotions and
- 21:02Speaker 2: talk about crying.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I did feel great for Patrick.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Ewing all kidding aside, and I did feel good for
- 21:08Speaker 2: a lot of guys. I'll never forget Star because I
- 21:11Speaker 2: don't care what anyone tells me. He listen, he can
- 21:13Speaker 2: celebrate all he wants. I'll never forget forgive that man.
- 21:17Speaker 2: We were up three to two headed back to Houston.
- 21:19Speaker 2: We lost Game six in Game seven on Houston's home court,
- 21:22Speaker 2: But talking about emotion and crying and all that stuff,
- 21:26Speaker 2: it was so weird. It was almost I didn't want
- 21:29Speaker 2: to say this out loud. I didn't want to certainly
- 21:30Speaker 2: don't want to say it here. But after the Knicks
- 21:33Speaker 2: won Game four, that was the most emotion that has
- 21:38Speaker 2: ever poured out of me after a professional team, one
- 21:41Speaker 2: of my favorite teams has won a sporting event. Now
- 21:44Speaker 2: I know they win the NBA Final that night, but
- 21:46Speaker 2: it felt like they won the NBA Finals that night,
- 21:49Speaker 2: and for me, it was just a formality that the
- 21:52Speaker 2: Knicks were going to win one of the next three
- 21:54Speaker 2: games that eventually holed up the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
- 21:58Speaker 1: So I gotta be honest with you.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Game four was more emotional for me in terms of
- 22:03Speaker 2: crying and tears and tears of joy.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Coming out of me. Then Game five was.
- 22:08Speaker 2: It was almost like Game five was anti climactic in
- 22:11Speaker 2: that I felt like they won the series after Game four.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Yeah, game five, and I feel like there's a couple
- 22:17Speaker 3: examples of this where it feels like you don't really
- 22:21Speaker 3: know what it's gonna feel like when they win it.
- 22:23Speaker 3: So it's like, is that about to happen, or is
- 22:26Speaker 3: it as Taylor says, you know something terrible is about
- 22:30Speaker 3: to happen, and the Spurs are gonna make this comeback
- 22:32Speaker 3: in everything that we've dreaded is gonna happen. But I
- 22:35Speaker 3: think of not to say, the heat all the time.
- 22:37Speaker 3: So I'll go twenty sixteen Cavaliers, Right, nobody really thought
- 22:42Speaker 3: they were gonna come back from three to one. Outside
- 22:43Speaker 3: of that locker room, and in that Game seven, it's
- 22:45Speaker 3: tight down the stretch, it's in Golden State. Everybody probably
- 22:48Speaker 3: thinks Golden State's gonna win that, and then next thing
- 22:51Speaker 3: you know, the timer's done and it's like, holy shit, we.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Just won a championship.
- 22:55Speaker 3: And I know it's different because it wasn't a Game seven,
- 22:57Speaker 3: but you also didn't really know what that felt like.
- 22:59Speaker 3: You didn't know what the build up was like, and
- 23:01Speaker 3: so once you finally wanted, it's like, holy crap, this
- 23:03Speaker 3: is what it feels.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Like, is he I was pessimistic during the slow start
- 23:09Speaker 4: where that was one of the worst first quarters I
- 23:12Speaker 4: think a team has ever had. I think they finished
- 23:15Speaker 4: with thirteen points. After that first quarter, I was borderline
- 23:19Speaker 4: not defeated, but I was borderline defeated when they were
- 23:22Speaker 4: down again double digits in the fourth quarter, just thinking
- 23:25Speaker 4: that it couldn't happen again. But then a switch flips
- 23:29Speaker 4: when this team gets you within like six points and
- 23:31Speaker 4: they have all the momentum in the world. And before
- 23:34Speaker 4: the series I said that I thought it was as
- 23:36Speaker 4: simple as the Knicks have Jalen Brunts in and the
- 23:39Speaker 4: Spurs don't, and when the Knicks are mounting that comeback.
- 23:43Speaker 4: You could feel the Spurs like collapsing and they get
- 23:46Speaker 4: it to like six. I think it was six. The
- 23:49Speaker 4: Jalen Brunson move on Victor Wenbinyama on the perimeter where
- 23:53Speaker 4: he puts him on skates and makes Victor Wenbinyama look
- 23:56Speaker 4: like a newborn giraffe trying to figure out how to
- 24:00Speaker 4: work his seven foot four body.
- 24:02Speaker 5: That was the moment.
- 24:03Speaker 4: The Knicks were down four with like four minutes left
- 24:06Speaker 4: and I said, game over, We're winning the title.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Now.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Well, I mean, it's funny how the score and I
- 24:11Speaker 3: feel like this is just the Spur The score plays
- 24:15Speaker 3: games with your heads, right. They are more than doubled
- 24:18Speaker 3: up the Knicks in the first quarter. I want to
- 24:21Speaker 3: say it was thirty one to fifteen at one point,
- 24:23Speaker 3: and it just feels like the Spurs are in a
- 24:26Speaker 3: dominant position. And then you remind yourself about the previous
- 24:28Speaker 3: four games and it's like, oh no, they've been here before.
- 24:31Speaker 3: And then it's that youthfulness where it's I'm not going
- 24:34Speaker 3: to step on your neck and try to get to
- 24:36Speaker 3: their rim every time. Just gonna take some shots, just
- 24:39Speaker 3: some shots from anywhere. We'll see what happens, and all
- 24:40Speaker 3: of a sudden, it's oh no, it's down to ten
- 24:43Speaker 3: and here comes attention, Like you saw it over and
- 24:45Speaker 3: over again, how immature some of those.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Spurs were playing.
- 24:49Speaker 3: And then you look and it's like, how much were
- 24:51Speaker 3: we praising Stefan Castle because he was gonna be this
- 24:54Speaker 3: next superstar and his last two games of the series
- 24:56Speaker 3: were terrible. I mean one for ten in the finale
- 24:58Speaker 3: was terrible and it felt like he was lost. And
- 25:01Speaker 3: then you've got Dylan Harper. You still got internal issues
- 25:04Speaker 3: because Dylan Harper clearly playing like someone who was saying
- 25:08Speaker 3: I should have gotten the ball at the end of
- 25:09Speaker 3: Game four, and look what he did, had a great
- 25:11Speaker 3: Game ten of nineteen proved that. And yet somehow Daron
- 25:14Speaker 3: Fox is still out there shooting the ball a ton.
- 25:16Speaker 3: So it did help the Knicks that they were playing
- 25:18Speaker 3: against an inexperienced Spurs team, because once the Knicks we're
- 25:22Speaker 3: making that comeback, you could absolutely feel the collapse coming
- 25:25Speaker 3: from the San Antonio Spurs.
- 25:28Speaker 4: STU. Also, what a mistake on my part, this is
- 25:30Speaker 4: a hand up right now, what a mistake on my
- 25:32Speaker 4: part to mention that the Knicks were the first team
- 25:34Speaker 4: in NBA history to win the double NBA Cup NBA Finals.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Hitting both banners now right.
- 25:42Speaker 2: It's been a hell of a season, tailor. Yes, we
- 25:44Speaker 2: have two banner nights, two parades. We have a lot
- 25:47Speaker 2: to get to here.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Ahead.
- 25:51Speaker 4: You could even expand it and say they won the
- 25:53Speaker 4: trouble because they won the Kia Shooting Stars Challenge at
- 25:55Speaker 4: All Star weekend.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I do you think?
- 25:58Speaker 3: Only think it gives some legitimacy to that NBA Cup,
- 26:02Speaker 3: Like next year they're just gonna be like, well, last
- 26:04Speaker 3: year's Cup won, the winner won the championship, So this
- 26:07Speaker 3: means something to us. I think the Knicks are doing
- 26:09Speaker 3: a service to the entire league.
- 26:11Speaker 2: By the way, if you're keeping keeping score at home,
- 26:14Speaker 2: Carl Anthony Towns won. Jimmy Butler none, Yeah, Jimmy Butler.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Just let everyone have it today, clown.
- 26:23Speaker 4: You try to punk, You try to punk Carl Anthony
- 26:25Speaker 4: Towns and Andrew Wiggins.
- 26:27Speaker 5: And look at them, they both got titles.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Two points.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Look at him, yes, by the way, and I mean
- 26:33Speaker 2: this has is Stefan Castle. Does he ever rock the
- 26:37Speaker 2: T shirt under the jersey? Does he ever do that?
- 26:40Speaker 2: Because the second he came out, I've never seen him
- 26:42Speaker 2: do it.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Has he done it before? Are you guys? I don't
- 26:47Speaker 1: know the answer to that. I feel like Vsell I
- 26:49Speaker 1: think he.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Does it every Castle.
- 26:51Speaker 2: There's no way he does it every game. Tell me
- 26:53Speaker 2: he doesn't do it every game.
- 26:54Speaker 5: I believe he does that every game.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Dad.
- 26:56Speaker 2: My only point in telling you is I was telling
- 26:57Speaker 2: this story to everyone at the bar, and there were
- 26:59Speaker 2: many many people there that Stefan Castle, you cannot in
- 27:02Speaker 2: game seller, in game five and a close out game,
- 27:04Speaker 2: decide that you're gonna put a T shirt on when
- 27:07Speaker 2: you never wore a T shirt before.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You just can't do It's bad Vuk, It's bad karma.
- 27:11Speaker 2: You can't do it. Like you don't change your gear.
- 27:13Speaker 2: You don't change what's working. If it ain't broke, don't
- 27:15Speaker 2: fix it. But now you're telling me, after delivering that
- 27:18Speaker 2: to the entire bar, thinking that I had something good,
- 27:21Speaker 2: you're telling me Stefan Castle wears a T shirt under
- 27:24Speaker 2: his jersey every single game.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I would almost wager he's never not worn a T
- 27:29Speaker 4: shirt under your shirt.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Every image I'm looking at has him wearing a T shirt.
- 27:36Speaker 1: So listen.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I was with most of the Northwestern women's lacrosse team
- 27:39Speaker 2: they don't know any better. I just told him the story.
- 27:41Speaker 2: They all went with it, and then I just kept
- 27:43Speaker 2: hold it up that he.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Was one to ten from the field. He told you
- 27:46Speaker 1: you should have said it.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Sometimes it's black, sometimes it's white, so you should have
- 27:49Speaker 3: chosen the right color on your shirt. But definitely wears
- 27:53Speaker 3: one every single time.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Damn it ruins my argument. Stuke, got's here.
- 27:57Speaker 2: The biggest stage in world soccer is here, and every
- 27:59Speaker 2: gold changes everything. And now FanDuel's given you a reason.

- 29:25Speaker 4: just been floating back ever since then. Physically I'm back,
- 29:31Speaker 4: Mentally there, I'm there.
- 29:34Speaker 5: It's after they won the title.
- 29:36Speaker 4: It felt like the scene in Spider Man where everybody
- 29:40Speaker 4: it's just like lifting him and like carrying him over
- 29:43Speaker 4: after his after he faints, and it's like careful, careful.
- 29:47Speaker 4: He's a hero. He's a hero. And that's what I
- 29:49Speaker 4: felt like I was doing. I was just crowdsurfing on
- 29:52Speaker 4: top of all my people in New York and being like, yeah,
- 29:55Speaker 4: we really did it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah, special day. I'm so happy for you. I don't
- 29:59Speaker 1: know why I'm happy for you than I am for myself.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I've been waiting for this. My whole life is he
- 30:05Speaker 1: and somehow we made it more about him than he
- 30:06Speaker 1: did me.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I mean, nobody has established themselves as as huge a
- 30:11Speaker 3: fan on the verge of a playoff run.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yes, that Taylor has.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Taylor has done a phenomenal job establishing himself as the
- 30:18Speaker 3: Nick fan you've been taking over for you, Stu Gatt.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So we've got to give him his credit. I am
- 30:23Speaker 1: I'm more than happy to hand it over. Tom Okay.
- 30:25Speaker 1: So it is all yours, my friend, the joy it
- 30:28Speaker 1: is he.
- 30:28Speaker 2: The other funny thing about these big leads in the NBA,
- 30:31Speaker 2: I don't think people realize just how quickly a fifteen
- 30:34Speaker 2: point lead can become a seven point lead in the NBA.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Like it just it can happen so quickly because obviously
- 30:41Speaker 2: they're playing with twos and threes, and so for anyone
- 30:43Speaker 2: to be surprised that the Knicks got off to that
- 30:45Speaker 2: bad start in Game five and then for them to
- 30:47Speaker 2: come back, it's ridiculous. Hey, they've been doing it all season,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and b you can get back into an NBA game
- 30:53Speaker 2: in a minute or two.
- 30:54Speaker 1: It's why they call it a game of runs. You know,
- 30:56Speaker 1: it's funny.
- 30:56Speaker 3: In that first half, I said to myself, Oh, okay,
- 31:00Speaker 3: so the rest of this series is going to feel
- 31:02Speaker 3: like Game sevens And I mean that because it was
- 31:05Speaker 3: just a rock fight. It was just two teams that
- 31:07Speaker 3: just feel like at times they didn't remember how to
- 31:09Speaker 3: play basketball. And the scary part and again this is
- 31:12Speaker 3: what if that you don't want to talk about. But
- 31:14Speaker 3: if this series is extended, look at less and less
- 31:18Speaker 3: the best the bench was contributing for you, even in
- 31:20Speaker 3: this closeout game, Like this bench gave you nine points
- 31:23Speaker 3: in the classout game, and it required Jalen Brunson to
- 31:27Speaker 3: do what he did. If this series keeps going, are
- 31:30Speaker 3: you gonna rely on Jalen Brunton even more? You're gonna
- 31:32Speaker 3: get even less out of these guys. So it was
- 31:33Speaker 3: just like, man, it almost had to get done.
- 31:36Speaker 2: In that Game five, I gave the Spurs coach a
- 31:38Speaker 2: standing ovation every time he took out Dylan Harper.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I was so pleased. But is he?
- 31:43Speaker 2: I guess to your point, the what IF's and all
- 31:45Speaker 2: that stuff, I think everyone understands, even the most strident
- 31:50Speaker 2: Nick fan, the most loyal of Nick fans, like if
- 31:53Speaker 2: you were if if you were playing a game of
- 31:56Speaker 2: pickup basketball and you had two captains, okay, and they
- 32:00Speaker 2: were choosing sides, and the only guys you had at
- 32:02Speaker 2: your disposal that you could choose from, we're all the
- 32:05Speaker 2: Knicks and all the Spurs. I'm not certain I wouldn't
- 32:09Speaker 2: take three San Antonio Spurs before I took a single
- 32:12Speaker 2: New York Nick.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Is that fair?
- 32:14Speaker 7: Uh?
- 32:15Speaker 3: Not?
- 32:15Speaker 1: If Jalen Brunson's on the list, I don't know if
- 32:17Speaker 1: I think i'd still take Dylan Harper program, but I
- 32:20Speaker 1: think it's interesting. I don't know what day looking Dylan
- 32:23Speaker 1: Harper is good?
- 32:24Speaker 5: What terrible?
- 32:25Speaker 1: That was awful?
- 32:27Speaker 7: You were trying to work that out as we were going,
- 32:30Speaker 7: and you could see it just no, no, no, guys,
- 32:32Speaker 7: hold on, I'm trying to point out just how improbable
- 32:35Speaker 7: this whole fucking thing is to get a free agent
- 32:38Speaker 7: that nobody wanted.
- 32:39Speaker 2: To have five guys who were all free agents with
- 32:41Speaker 2: an NBA championship together, branted three of them played together
- 32:44Speaker 2: in college, so there was some chemistry there. To have
- 32:47Speaker 2: Josh Hart, who I'm still not certain until this day
- 32:51Speaker 2: is a great basketball player or even a good basketball player.
- 32:55Speaker 1: To have Karl.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Anthony Towns, the guy that Minnesota didn't want that was
- 33:00Speaker 2: mocked by the tea walls just how ridiculous this title
- 33:05Speaker 2: run was.
- 33:06Speaker 1: And when you consider who they beat the NBA.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Finals, that team is as talented as any team in
- 33:11Speaker 2: the NBA. And I'm telling you, I would take Stefan
- 33:14Speaker 2: Castle and the T shirt he's wearing underneath over Jalenror,
- 33:18Speaker 2: Jalen Brunson, Jalen Hart.
- 33:21Speaker 1: They're all merged now.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I No, you wouldn't because he went one for ten
- 33:26Speaker 3: in Game five.
- 33:27Speaker 1: However, D Taylor was the biggest Knick fan going. I mean,
- 33:29Speaker 1: this is why this is what I did.
- 33:31Speaker 3: The New York thing means a lot, and it's just
- 33:34Speaker 3: for basketball, Like New York City point guards.
- 33:38Speaker 1: That's been a.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Thing my entire life, right to Rucker Park, like all
- 33:43Speaker 3: the whenever I think of outdoor basketball, I think of
- 33:46Speaker 3: New York. And so basketball in New York has always
- 33:48Speaker 3: been sort of intertwined in some way. There's like a
- 33:51Speaker 3: style of play that is tied to that city. And
- 33:54Speaker 3: now that city gets to be for at least a year,
- 33:57Speaker 3: the king of basketball.
- 33:59Speaker 1: It feels right.
- 34:00Speaker 3: I do think that Jalen Brunson now changes the dynamic
- 34:03Speaker 3: of the New York City point guard because even though
- 34:05Speaker 3: he's not quote from New.
- 34:06Speaker 1: York, he will forever be New York's point guard.
- 34:09Speaker 3: But overall, that just feels like a time like basketball
- 34:13Speaker 3: and New York should be celebrating because it's always been
- 34:17Speaker 3: a marriage. They've always been together, and now it just
- 34:19Speaker 3: feels like, you know, it's time to celebrate because they're
- 34:21Speaker 3: on top of the mountain.
- 34:23Speaker 4: So New York's point guard is Jalen Brunson. New York
- 34:26Speaker 4: City's point guard is he is Jose Alvarado because Jose
- 34:29Speaker 4: Alvarado wins.
- 34:30Speaker 1: That different point guard. Yeah, he gets.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Home from San Antonio.
- 34:35Speaker 4: The first thing he does, he goes to the Puerto
- 34:37Speaker 4: Rican Day parade yesterday in the city. The best video
- 34:42Speaker 4: I saw, or the video that made me laugh the most,
- 34:45Speaker 4: was Jose Alvarado on his Instagram live after the game.
- 34:49Speaker 4: He got somebody asked him about like scoring eight points
- 34:52Speaker 4: in game three or Game four, and he was like,
- 34:57Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell my kids it was forty one days.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Taylor put it on the pole.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Would you rather be New York's point guard or New
- 35:05Speaker 2: York City's point guard?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Because you're right. Alvarado did go to the Puerto Rican parade.
- 35:10Speaker 2: He really yeah, he put himself right in the middle
- 35:14Speaker 2: of this, and Brunson went to a Jewish Telly
