- 0:00Speaker 1: Always a step ahead of the news. Here's more markimone
- 0:04Speaker 1: on seven Den wo Well. Things are a mess right
- 0:07Speaker 1: now this local mom Donnie mess. But help is on
- 0:10Speaker 1: the way.
- 0:10Speaker 2: The Republicans have a great candidate for governor, Bruce Blakeman,
- 0:14Speaker 2: the Nassau County executive. County executive is basically a governor,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and he's the best county executive in America'd be a
- 0:20Speaker 2: great governor. You go to Blakeman for New York and
- 0:23Speaker 2: you can help, donate or volunteer Blakemanfronewyork dot com and
- 0:28Speaker 2: help out. Bruce Blakeman.
- 0:29Speaker 3: How you doing good, Mark, We we're doing very well.
- 0:34Speaker 3: We're getting around the state talking issues with a lot
- 0:37Speaker 3: of people. And basically, Mark, people in New York State
- 0:41Speaker 3: are miserable under Kathy Hochel. They don't like her alliance
- 0:45Speaker 3: with her comrade Mondami, and between the two of them,
- 0:49Speaker 3: they are wrecking the economy of New York City. They're
- 0:52Speaker 3: hurting the economy of New York State and they're driving
- 0:56Speaker 3: out people and businesses.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Now, you took over Nasau County in the tax says
- 1:00Speaker 2: we're horrible. Their property was this horrible. So what do
- 1:03Speaker 2: you do in a situation like that.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Well, first of all, I cut property taxes by one
- 1:08Speaker 3: hundred and fifty million dollars. My predecessor had a one
- 1:12Speaker 3: hundred and fifty million dollars tax increase, and I canceled
- 1:15Speaker 3: that out. And with inflation between six and eight percent
- 1:18Speaker 3: a year, I hired you know, probably six hundred new
- 1:23Speaker 3: law enforcement officers, four hundred police officers, two hundred corrections officers.
- 1:28Speaker 3: And we did it without raising taxes one penny in
- 1:32Speaker 3: four years. So we made not only the community safer,
- 1:35Speaker 3: but we made it more affordable.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Well, this is radical talk cutting taxes, hiring more policemen nowadays,
- 1:43Speaker 2: Hey what a thought. Yeah, this Kathy Hoko is always pandering,
- 1:48Speaker 2: pandering to the left, pandering of the media, pandry. And
- 1:50Speaker 2: I've heard you do stuff through the years. You just
- 1:52Speaker 2: don't pander. You just whatever's common sense and should be done.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Where do you get the nerve to do that? That
- 1:57Speaker 2: takes nerve?
- 1:59Speaker 3: Well, you know, well, my parents were both World War
- 2:01Speaker 3: Two veterans. My mother joined the army. My dad said
- 2:05Speaker 3: she didn't want to be left out of a good fight.
- 2:08Speaker 3: And they taught us about public service and about fighting
- 2:11Speaker 3: for what's right, fighting for American values, fighting for common
- 2:15Speaker 3: sense ideas, and you know, I learned from them, and
- 2:19Speaker 3: I have a family that's got a history of public service,
- 2:23Speaker 3: So it means a lot to us. And you know,
- 2:26Speaker 3: if we're not willing to fight for our children, our grandchildren,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and for the future of the state, then that doesn't
- 2:32Speaker 3: say a lot about us. So I'm in this to
- 2:35Speaker 3: make sure that we have a more affordable state, a
- 2:38Speaker 3: safer state, and a state where people can be proud
- 2:41Speaker 3: to say that they're New Yorkers, with a governor who
- 2:44Speaker 3: puts New Yorkers first, doesn't spend billions of dollars on
- 2:47Speaker 3: I legal migrants who've been here for fifteen minutes and
- 2:49Speaker 3: haven't earned the thing. A governor that actually cares about
- 2:53Speaker 3: their families and the future of the state. So I
- 2:57Speaker 3: am looking forward to the day when I become governor.
- 3:01Speaker 3: We can turn things around, use common sense and make
- 3:05Speaker 3: this a more affordable and safer state.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Well, you can help Bruce Blakeman's campaign. Go to Blakemanfromnew
- 3:10Speaker 2: York dot com, donate, volunteer, whatever you want to do. Hey,
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'm looking at budgets like the budget of Chicago's like
- 3:17Speaker 2: twelve billion a year, the budget of Pittsburgh's like ten
- 3:20Speaker 2: billion a year. The budget of New York City is
- 3:23Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty billionaere. How on earth is that possible.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Well, it's more than the whole state of Florida. But
- 3:30Speaker 3: here's an even more shocking number. The budget of the
- 3:33Speaker 3: state of New York is twice as much as Florida.
- 3:37Speaker 3: That it's got a bigger population. Now, it's just unbelievable
- 3:43Speaker 3: that they can't manage the affairs of this state in
- 3:47Speaker 3: a prudent way that delivers quality services at a cost
- 3:51Speaker 3: efficient manner. And that's the problem with Kathy Hockel. She's
- 3:54Speaker 3: got all of these mandates and she's got this green
- 3:58Speaker 3: energy scam that makes our utility bills go up. We're
- 4:02Speaker 3: fifty percent highering our utility bills in Pennsylvania. Wow, Mark,
- 4:06Speaker 3: when I become governor, I'm cutting your bills in half.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I'm going to cut all the hidden seas and taxes
- 4:12Speaker 3: and your utility bills. That's what drives the cost up.
- 4:15Speaker 3: It's not the cost of energy.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, when they say cutting services, you could just cut
- 4:20Speaker 2: the waist, the fraud, the bloat. Can't you and not
- 4:23Speaker 2: have to cut services?
- 4:25Speaker 3: Well? Absolutely, just think about medicaid. Our medicaid bill here
- 4:30Speaker 3: in New York is twice as much as Florida, It's
- 4:35Speaker 3: twice as much as Texas, all bigger states. We don't
- 4:39Speaker 3: have people that are more sick here Into York. What
- 4:42Speaker 3: we have is a system where it allows for fraud
- 4:45Speaker 3: and abuse, just like the kid we saw in Minneapolis.
- 4:49Speaker 3: And you know, when I get into be governor, the
- 4:53Speaker 3: first thing I'm going to do is uncover all this
- 4:57Speaker 3: fraud and abuse and make sure that we cut it
- 4:59Speaker 3: out so that we can deliver quality services at an
- 5:02Speaker 3: affordable price, not only for the taxpayers, but also for
- 5:06Speaker 3: the people who use those services. They get better services
- 5:09Speaker 3: for more cost efficient manner because the people that are
- 5:12Speaker 3: getting the money now they're getting too much money and
- 5:15Speaker 3: they're doing a lousy job.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, now you've done all this kind of stuff in
- 5:18Speaker 2: Long Island, which is now the safest county in America,
- 5:21Speaker 2: probably the best run county in America. Hey, by next year,
- 5:25Speaker 2: we could have so many Mom Donnie problems going on.
- 5:28Speaker 2: If you're hopefully you will be the governor. As governor,
- 5:30Speaker 2: what can you do to control mom Donnie and the
- 5:34Speaker 2: crazy stuff he does?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Well? First of all, I'm not going to let him
- 5:38Speaker 3: increase taxes. That's number one. Number two, I'm not going
- 5:43Speaker 3: to let him destroy the economy of New York City,
- 5:45Speaker 3: which is the financial capital of the world, which he
- 5:48Speaker 3: seems hell bent on doing. And number three, if he
- 5:52Speaker 3: doesn't enforce the law, I will. So we're not going
- 5:56Speaker 3: to let criminals run our city. We're not going to
- 5:59Speaker 3: let the city going to financial ruin. As governor, I
- 6:03Speaker 3: will stop him from doing those things.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Hey, we also these crazy district attorneys like Alvin Braig
- 6:10Speaker 2: just let criminals out. As governor, don't you have the
- 6:12Speaker 2: power over the Don't they actually work for the governor.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yes, So for district attorneys who aren't upholding the law,
- 6:20Speaker 3: I will make sure that they do that or they
- 6:23Speaker 3: will pay the price. And the price is that a
- 6:26Speaker 3: governor can remove a sitting district attorney that's not doing
- 6:31Speaker 3: their job. And if you're not doing your job, you'll
- 6:34Speaker 3: get a warning, you'll get a timeline within which to
- 6:39Speaker 3: make sure that you are doing everything possible to keep
- 6:42Speaker 3: our community safe. And if you're not, if you're siding
- 6:45Speaker 3: with the criminals like Kathy Hockel does and Zora Mundami,
- 6:50Speaker 3: then there will be consequences to be paid by the way. Mark,
- 6:55Speaker 3: how about him not funding the five thousand police officer
- 6:58Speaker 3: new hires that we desperate we need in New York.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I mean, he's defunding the police. He's so transparent in
- 7:05Speaker 3: what he's doing. I just wish people would open their
- 7:08Speaker 3: eyes and see that he's somebody that does not like
- 7:12Speaker 3: police officers. He wants to use social workers to enforce
- 7:15Speaker 3: a lot and we all know that that'll never work.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and people say, what can we do? But it well,
- 7:20Speaker 2: elect Bruce Blakeman governor. That will help a lot. Hey,
- 7:24Speaker 2: Kathi Hokle, I remember last time around she said no
- 7:26Speaker 2: congestion pricing. Then the day after the election she puts
- 7:29Speaker 2: in congestion pricing. So this time she said no tax increase.
- 7:33Speaker 2: But can't we be pretty sure she'll increase taxes the
- 7:36Speaker 2: day after the election.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Of course, Mark, you know they got a secret deal.
- 7:41Speaker 3: First she endorses Mandamie, then Mundami endorses her, and they
- 7:46Speaker 3: got a wink in a nod that after election day,
- 7:49Speaker 3: taxes are going to go up. And the taxes are
- 7:51Speaker 3: going to go up not just for wealthy people but
- 7:53Speaker 3: for middle class people. And remember this every time a
- 7:57Speaker 3: millionaire moves out of New York State. Who picks up
- 8:00Speaker 3: the slack? It's the middle class. Somebody's got to pay
- 8:04Speaker 3: for all these programs that they have, many of them
- 8:07Speaker 3: which are totally mismanaged. So as governor, I will bring
- 8:11Speaker 3: sanity back to government. We'll bring economic development, job prosperity,
- 8:16Speaker 3: make it more affordable by cutting energy costs and making
- 8:19Speaker 3: life happier for New Yorkers because right now they're miserable
- 8:23Speaker 3: under Kathy Hochel and Zaron Mundonia.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Well, Bruce Blakeman is the best county executive in America,
- 8:29Speaker 2: and that's basically being in the governor. He would be
- 8:31Speaker 2: a great governor. What can people do that they're listening
- 8:34Speaker 2: if they want to help.
- 8:34Speaker 3: You, Well, first of all, everybody's got a cell phone.
- 8:38Speaker 3: You got to text people, you got to call them,
- 8:41Speaker 3: you got to email them, you got to make posts
- 8:43Speaker 3: on social media. We need to get a groundswell of
- 8:47Speaker 3: support to win, and we are doing that. We're gaining
- 8:51Speaker 3: a lot of momentum. Go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com. Hey listen,
- 8:54Speaker 3: if you can't make a big contribution, give twenty five
- 8:58Speaker 3: thirty bucks, forty bucks, whatever you can afford it all helps,
- 9:02Speaker 3: It all adds up, and we need the money to
- 9:05Speaker 3: be able to counter Kathy Hochel, who's getting tremendous contributions
- 9:09Speaker 3: from the green energy scam people, and all the other
- 9:12Speaker 3: agencies and not for profits and companies that are making
- 9:17Speaker 3: billions of dollars off us. Think about all the money
- 9:20Speaker 3: that's been been spent on illegal migrants, billions of dollars
- 9:24Speaker 3: that could have been spent to cut taxes. It could
- 9:26Speaker 3: have been spent on hospitals, on schools, on educating our children,
- 9:30Speaker 3: on our infrastructure. Just giving money away to people who've
- 9:34Speaker 3: been here for fifteen minutes. That's not putting New Yorkers first.
- 9:38Speaker 3: That's doing something that really is a fiduciary breach on
- 9:42Speaker 3: her part. She has a responsibility in New Yorkers to
- 9:45Speaker 3: spend them, to spend our hard earned tax dollars on
- 9:48Speaker 3: people who've been here for fifteen minutes and haven't earned
- 9:50Speaker 3: a saying that is a total disgrace.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Well, Bruce Blakeman, we hope you win. You'd be a
- 9:54Speaker 2: great governor. Everybody go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com. Blakemanfromnewyork dot
- 9:58Speaker 2: com doing great work. And thanks for being with us.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Hey, Mark, it's always a pleasure. You're a dear friend
- 10:05Speaker 3: and I value our friendship very much.
