⚡Shocking NEWS⚡SILVER Price and Gold PRICE Could SURPRISE YOU! - (Vibecession Too!) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:03
You need some good news after the last few days.
0:06
Silver and gold took it on the chin.
0:08
How about $36,000 gold? We're going to talk about that
0:13
in just a few seconds. How about silver, $4.00 per oz
0:17
higher than it is right now. But right now we have something
0:21
very important, silver investors in particular to talk about.
0:25
We are engaged in a war today, right now, fighting to close
0:30
above $30 per oz on a weekly basis.
0:34
That is going to be huge. We can do it.
0:38
We're going to check on the silver price here in just a few
0:40
seconds. I kind of saved it for the
0:43
video. I know earlier it was up, but
0:45
you know, silvers been moving around like crazy.
0:48
Silver was up like $0.35 per oz in the spot market earlier.
0:52
It could very easily be down a dollar an ounce right now or up
0:56
significantly as well. We've been having big, big moves
1:01
in the silver market and you know what?
1:03
We're going to talk about why that is so important relative to
1:07
what we experienced over the last few years.
1:10
We'll do that in just a second, but let's dive right into some
1:12
good news. Thank you for being here.
1:15
Basement dwellers, you are the most important part of Ron's
1:18
basement. Please give this a thumbs up and
1:21
subscribe if you haven't subscribed.
1:23
But most importantly, enjoy your time here.
1:26
You are the most important part of the basement and you can make
1:28
a lot of friends in the comment section.
1:30
We love to hear your thoughts. We love to learn from you in the
1:34
comment section. Let's go out here and take a
1:37
look at how did Ron come up with the idea of 36, $1000 gold.
1:45
Well, I'm going to explain it to you.
1:46
And I also have. Yeah, it's a spreadsheet that
1:50
we're going to look at here. Hold on a second, We'll get to
1:54
that. But let's get back here.
1:56
Make sure we're still live. We are.
1:58
We're still live. OK, let's go here.
2:01
This is a guy named Grad HY Commodities.
2:04
I don't know. Anyway, great.
2:05
He puts out some very interesting things on Twitter.
2:08
This chart, OK. And I'm going to zoom in on it
2:12
here in just one second, shows us just how undervalued gold and
2:18
silver are right now. Guys, this is this is historic
2:22
on many, many levels. Most people don't realize it.
2:26
Your neighbors don't realize it. But there's also something
2:29
embedded in this information about the gold price, about the
2:33
silver price that gives us reason to be very, very
2:37
optimistic. I don't want to use, do we want
2:39
to use the word hope, right? Hope is not an investment
2:43
strategy. We, we are optimistic based on
2:46
fundamentals and I'm going to show you why here in just one
2:50
second here. He said yet another sign that
2:52
massive moves are coming for precious metals stay the course
2:57
as the secular bull market has resumed with gold's historic
3:01
breakout 5 months ago. We talked about that guys.
3:06
Actually, we were early in mid-december, we talked about
3:09
how absolutely everything is different now for silver and
3:14
gold after long-suffering for three years.
3:17
And I'm going to show you that on another chart here in a
3:19
little bit, that the weather pattern had changed, the tide
3:22
had turned. We were in a new paradigm.
3:25
I don't know how else to say it, but everything's different now
3:28
and everything is different. Throw the old normal out the
3:32
window. Nonetheless, he says, everything
3:35
looks fine. It's going to be the ride of our
3:38
lives. I like this guy.
3:40
Make sure you will be able to make the most of it all in every
3:45
necessary way. So what are we looking at here?
3:48
Let's zoom in on this chart that I think is can I move this over?
3:52
Hopefully I don't screw something up here.
3:54
OK, there we go. OK guys, this chart compares the
3:58
price of gold to the S&P 500. OK.
4:02
As you can see currently you know the price of gold is what
4:06
2300 and the S&P 500 is around 5300 something like that.
4:12
So the current ratio, OK, it's a ratio compares the price of gold
4:17
to the S&P 500 is at .45, OK. That means that the an ounce of
4:24
gold will get you about less, a little bit less than 1/2 of 1
4:28
unit of the S&P 500. Look at this on a historic
4:32
basis, number one, OK, look how low it is, but where it's even
4:37
more, even more interesting. This pink area, right?
4:40
That's that 10 year bull market that we had in gold and silver
4:46
that went up when silver went all the way to what, $50 per oz.
4:49
But obviously this is looking at gold.
4:52
It got lower back then right around the year 2000.
4:55
But when it broke out, similar to what it's doing right now, it
5:00
went up and up and up and up and again.
5:03
And I've got something critical that we need to realize about
5:06
this. But first I need to show you why
5:08
this chart shows us that we could get $36,000 gold.
5:14
I know it sounds preposterous, I agree, but, but, but look back
5:20
here. Look, back in 1980, OK, Look
5:23
over here. Back then, the gold to S&P 500
5:28
ratio was at 7, probably got even to 7 1/2, but for
5:32
simplicity's sake, we'll say seven.
5:35
That means one ounce of gold was seven times more expensive than
5:40
the S&P 500 index. OK.
5:42
So let's go to this. Let's go to this beautiful
5:45
spreadsheet that I made you. OK, there it is.
5:48
Ratio high 1980 of seven. Here's today's numbers, right,
5:53
gold 2330. Well, this was last night's
5:55
numbers, but bear with me, I can't, you know, update
5:58
everything real time. The S&P 5267, the current ratio
6:03
.44. Again in 1980 this hit a high of
6:08
seven. For the gold to S&P ratio to get
6:12
back to seven, to be 7 times more valuable than the S&P, we
6:18
would need gold at. I got a bonus for you, not just
6:21
$36,000, but 36,869. And I, I know it sounds crazy.
6:28
What do you think silver would be?
6:33
Oh baby, maybe, I don't know, $814.00 Anyway, it sounds crazy
6:38
to say $36,000 gold. But guys, it's, it's, it's real.
6:43
These numbers don't lie. We've been at the same ratio in
6:47
the past, but what's even more interesting, and let's just look
6:52
at this 2011 more a little more recently, OK?
6:55
Gold got to about 2000. All right, let's go back here to
6:59
this chart real quickly. 2011, OK, the ratio was at 1.5.
7:05
An ounce of gold was 1.5 times more valuable.
7:10
I lost my voice there than the S&P 500, OK, if that were the
7:16
case today, we would have about right here $7300 gold.
7:22
Now this isn't really, I mean, it's exciting to think, yeah,
7:25
sure, sure, we could get crazy, absolute crazy numbers on the
7:31
gold price 36,000. You know, look, the numbers, the
7:36
ratios don't lie. But what's important when we
7:39
look at that chart, we pull it up quickly one more time is to
7:43
realize what this chart shows us is that we are in a situation
7:49
when you compare, OK, when you compare the value of real
7:54
assets, OK, And it's not just gold, it's silver.
7:58
It's all the commodities to the Unicorn fart dust electronic
8:04
credit based money printing based assets in the world, the
8:09
S&P 500, the derivatives, any of that stuff.
8:12
The, the, the, the relationship is so out of whack.
8:16
And guys, throughout history, whenever that happened, always
8:21
there was some type of major, major reset sometime when when
8:26
the paper make believe and we can look at it through extras
8:29
pyramid as well. However you want to look at it
8:31
when the paper make believe values became so overvalued
8:36
relative to the value of real assets, gold, silver, land,
8:41
probably oil, probably a lot of things.
8:44
We entered what was called a commodity super cycle, OK.
8:49
And that also is a period of time that ushered in may always
8:53
ushered in major changes within the monetary system.
8:56
Are you thinking about the bricks?
8:58
Are you thinking about how the BRICS nations are talking about
9:02
building a new monetary? They are building right,
9:05
alternative monetary systems right now.
9:09
I mean, the value of an ounce of gold relative to the S&P 500.5
9:15
is so far out of whack it doesn't make any sense.
9:18
Let's talk about silver. I want to go to the silver chart
9:21
here quickly and look at what's going on.
9:26
OK, again, let's do an update. You know what, first let's go
9:31
out to pin backs and get an update on the silver and gold
9:34
price so we know what's going on in the spot market.
9:38
OK, this is I need to refresh it, so take a deep breath.
9:41
All right, Silver up 47 cents. Yes, and that's the spot price.
9:47
I believe we're very close to the spot price.
9:49
Gold up $16.00. Let's let's be very, very
9:54
optimistic that this $30 support level holds everybody.
10:00
I was watching this was funny. I was watching wait, whoa, whoa,
10:02
whoa, whoa, whoa. Before I forget, do yourself a
10:05
favor. If you get to the point where
10:07
you want to buy, you want to add your silver stack, your gold
10:10
stack, your platinum group metal stack, check out Pinbex.
10:15
OK, You always want to get the most metal for your money #1
10:21
when you're buying precious metals, whether you're buying
10:23
sovereign coins, bars, rounds, whatever it is, Pendek's prices
10:27
I have found are always pretty much, I want to say impossible,
10:32
but very, very, very difficult to beat.
10:35
OK, thank you. On top of that, that was Susie
10:38
chiming in. You're going to get the best
10:40
prices. They've got a great selection.
10:42
And, and, and critical is that you work with a company you can
10:46
trust. Read the reviews on Pembex.
10:49
I will give you my review, which is I worked with Pembex before
10:53
they sponsored my channel and I was a very happy customer, which
10:57
is why I took them on as a sponsor because I believe in
10:59
them. I can tell you all right, do
11:01
yourself a favor and check out Pembex.
11:04
Now let's go back to this silver chart.
11:07
OK, this is interesting guys. I know yesterday and the day
11:11
before, we were very, very discouraged.
11:14
Again, look at this move. I have a couple notes here.
11:17
The price of silver from what was that 212?
11:21
Well, let's look at my birthday. Well, anyway, let's go 2/12/22
11:26
dollars an ounce up to $30.00 an ounce and 8% increase on on
11:33
$22.00. I don't know, at least 30% in
11:36
what February to February, Where were we right there?
11:42
OK, February. That was three months ago.
11:46
We you know, here there $22.00 on February 12th.
11:50
So a little over three months ago we had an $8 per oz
11:54
increase, almost 40%. OK, probably getting close high
11:59
30%. So what's important then we look
12:02
at this chart and and we draw an imaginary line, follow my
12:06
cursor, right, is that it keeps continuing up.
12:09
These things are going to happen, see they happen there,
12:13
OK? We don't want.
12:16
I know we do want, and maybe you're like me, right?
12:19
We do. We just want the price of silver
12:20
to go parabolic, right, $60.00 an ounce, whatever.
12:24
But really guys, the hard truth is we don't really want a
12:29
parabolic move up, OK? We don't want the price of
12:33
silver. Let's go look at this chart real
12:35
quickly. I want to show you what a
12:37
parabolic move looks like. It looks like this, OK?
12:40
This comes from Investing haven. When you get like it's like a
12:44
rocket when it blasts off with rocket fuel, right, which we
12:48
would love. It'd be so exciting, I know, but
12:51
rockets eventually run out of fuel and come crashing back
12:55
down. As you can see right here.
12:57
What we want is a slow, steady stair step type increase in the
13:03
silver price. We want this right up, up, down,
13:07
a little bit, consolidate up, up, down a little bit,
13:10
consolidate up, up, up, up. You know, we want it to happen
13:15
somewhat gradually and somewhat overtime.
13:17
Now the other important thing to look at the top analysts are
13:20
saying it's unbelievable. We looked at this yesterday.
13:23
When you look at the price of silver over the like the the
13:27
nine months leading up to when it took off, it was so dead.
13:31
What's the word that they were using?
13:33
Dormant. It was dormant like really no
13:36
other time in history. Silver is a very volatile metal
13:41
period. That's a fact.
13:42
And it was very, very dormant. Let's go back over five years as
13:47
a result. OK, Look at this right.
13:49
As a result, we know, we know that people are looking at all
13:54
these indicators and saying, oh, the RSI is oversold, overbought,
13:57
whatever the the MACD, all these things.
14:01
What the smart people are saying is you really have to throw all
14:05
that data out because that last 2-3 year period that we had this
14:10
dormant period in silver is really exceptional when you look
14:15
at a long, long term price chart for the silver price.
14:19
OK, rockets run out of fuel, the norm's been broken.
14:23
OK, we broke out and, and, and right now, at the end of the
14:28
day, I don't know what else to say about silver.
14:31
You know, I know you love silver.
14:33
I love silver. And what we really want to see
14:37
happen are some consolidations and nice gradual moves up.
14:42
OK, I, you know, yeah, the last two days, painful, no doubt
14:45
about it. But let's go to our daily
14:47
update. All right, let's look at the
14:49
silver price. Let's go see what's going on in
14:53
China. It's always interesting.
14:55
So we're at $30.50 in the United States right now on silver.
15:01
Let's update it. OK, 30.
15:03
Yeah, $30.50. Let's go look.
15:07
Just get our update from the Oriental Ghost.
15:10
OK? Silver closed on the Shanghai
15:13
Gold Exchange at 34 down almost, pretty much, pretty much $4.00
15:20
an ounce higher. I mean, guys, it's just
15:23
unbelievable what's happening right now with China and silver
15:27
and, and the metal will continue to move to the East.
15:35
There's no doubt about it. So now we're getting talk about,
15:38
are you hearing this commodity super cycle, not just us in the
15:42
basement, but the big guys, right?
15:44
Are you hearing it on CNBC, on Yahoo Finance?
15:48
We're in a commodity super cycle that includes gold and silver.
15:52
OK. The question is that we need to
15:55
ask ourselves, why did it take so long, right?
15:58
And, and the fact that it did take so long is a big, big deal
16:03
because it built up all that pain that you went through and I
16:08
went through over the last two to three years.
16:10
Like, like nobody knows, right? If you've been invested in
16:13
silver, if you've been invested in the precious metal mining
16:16
stocks, nobody knows the pain that we went through, right?
16:21
I mean, hey, your family, your friends, people don't really
16:24
care, you know? I mean, they're like, oh, well,
16:26
yeah, investments go down. Well, no.
16:28
It was a painful, painful period for all of us to go through.
16:31
It's a big deal because all that pain, this is critical, OK?
16:36
What it did was it built a solid base.
16:39
All the weak hands, all the people, they couldn't take it
16:43
anymore. You know what they did?
16:45
They sold. They went bye bye.
16:47
All the people that bought silver, remember the silver
16:49
squeeze in 2021? Were you part of that?
16:52
Right. I was around.
16:53
I wasn't real. I guess I was part of it.
16:55
But were you part of it? Do you remember all these people
16:58
came flooding into the silver market?
17:01
OK, Right up to the GameStop and AMC thing, right?
17:05
And oh, silver's going to the moon and blah, blah, blah.
17:09
Oh, I got super Chad. Thank you.
17:11
OK, Thank you, Susie. Thank you.
17:13
Hold on one second here. Hey, Derek.
17:17
Wow, man. Good morning.
17:20
All right, Thank you, Derek Myers.
17:22
That's awesome. Wow, that pumps me up.
17:24
I can buy 1/2 an ounce of silver.
17:26
I appreciate that super chats are always super appreciated.
17:29
But the pain, this is the good news.
17:33
All that pain, all those people that bought during the silver
17:36
squeeze that a year, 18 months, they all got silver.
17:41
It was a bad they they got they got shaken out.
17:44
What was left in silver, what was left in in gold, but gold's
17:50
already kind of doing well, but what was also left in the
17:53
precious metal mining stocks were the people who are strong
17:57
hearted. What do they call them?
17:58
Diamond hands, right? Or Pete, Pete.
18:01
So it built an incredible. This is exciting for us guys as
18:05
precious metal mining stock investors, as silver investors,
18:09
even as gold investors. It built this strong base of
18:13
people holding. Now we know China's buying all
18:16
the gold all the silver that's helping the price now it's so
18:19
exciting for us to realize that when our cohorts join us right
18:25
when your uncle Fred think of one of your uncles, think of one
18:28
of your aunts think of one of your neighbors think of one of
18:32
your Co workers right think of one of your fellow churchgoers.
18:36
I don't know think of whoever you need think cohorts.
18:40
Sorry, Susie does not get does not.
18:41
I get in a lot of trouble with Susie.
18:43
And if she keeps giving me trouble, I can turn her off if
18:47
she's bothering us anyway. Hi, Susie.
18:49
Anyway, all those people, when they when they join the party,
18:53
baby, it's going to be hold on a second.
19:01
I didn't hear you. What?
19:01
You better not turn me off, OK? We'll put you back in your
19:08
throne. Susie, thank you for all your
19:10
help. We love Susie.
19:11
I joke around. Susie is the best.
19:14
Look last night I work, I work at a little big job at night,
19:19
OK? And I'm walking out and it's
19:21
like 9 at 9:30, I don't know, 10:30 at night.
19:24
And the wife of one of my Co workers is there and she's a
19:26
silver stacker. She loves Lynette Zhang.
19:28
You know what she asked me? Here's her question.
19:30
She said, I got a bunch of questions for you, Ron.
19:33
And she joins us. Her name's Deborah.
19:34
Hello Deborah. I hope you're feeling good.
19:36
Nonetheless. She said what, what let's say
19:40
silver goes to, I think she said 2000 cause Lennet Zhang's been
19:44
talking about silver going to $2000.
19:46
And she was like, how would I sell it?
19:49
Who would buy my silver for $2000.00 an ounce?
19:52
And I said, look, I think that's kind of a figure of speech that
19:55
that's really what the value of silver is.
19:58
I don't know that I'm not me personally.
20:00
I'm for it. I love Lynette Zhang, she knows
20:03
that. I don't know that.
20:04
I'm not like expecting silver to go to $2000 per oz.
20:08
It's really worth that or even more.
20:10
But none the less, Deborah was worried about like, how would I
20:13
sell it If it does skyrocket, If silver goes to $130.00 an ounce,
20:17
are people going to be wanting to buy it?
20:20
And I said, well, you need to think about this, right?
20:23
Would nobody want your silver? Let's say look it's show and
20:27
tell time let's take out big Tim Silvershire, this beautiful
20:31
round he gave me right. We love looking at silver.
20:35
What I can't get the angle right there it is let's say this goes
20:38
to from from whatever we're at now, $30.50 to $124 per oz.
20:46
Is anybody going to want it? That was Deborah's question.
20:48
That was her predicament, and I understand that thinking.
20:51
Like who would buy it? If when silver goes to $120.00
20:58
an ounce, it's gonna go to that price because of demand, right?
21:03
The supply is being constricted. It's gonna go there because of
21:07
demand. So yes, people will be wanting
21:12
to buy your silver for $120.00 an ounce.
21:15
Now, if it's a parabolic rocket ship, right?
21:19
It might be a very short window, but we don't want that.
21:21
Like we talked about earlier, we're going to see a stairs,
21:25
stair step just like those stairs maybe that you can see
21:28
behind me here in the basement, right?
21:30
So when it does get there, it's only going to get there because
21:33
of huge demand. And huge demand means there's a
21:36
lot of people who are going to want to be buying your silver.
21:40
It's going to be a whole new environment, a whole new world.
21:43
So I wanted to bring that one up.
21:45
Commodity super cycle such a big deal and we got the supplies
21:49
like we can't let's just this is this is this is like drinking a
21:55
a cup of hot cocoa. For those of you who own
21:58
physical silver, OK, something we haven't talked about for
22:01
months, right? But you got to remember, the
22:05
supply of silver from the mining companies is going down the
22:09
tubes, right? You can't get permits in the
22:13
United States. I was, I was listening to a
22:16
Fortitude Gold's earning call the other day.
22:18
They can't get permits in Nevada, right?
22:21
With this current administration, they're making
22:23
it hard in the United States to get permits, but they're making
22:27
it even harder in Mexico. Yes, Mexico.
22:31
You know, that country to the South of us that is the world's
22:35
biggest producer of silver. They're current.
22:39
What's your name, Amlo? They hate mining.
22:43
They hate it. Ask any miner that tries to
22:46
operate in Mexico. Mexico is the biggest producer
22:50
of silver in the world. Not in North America, not in no
22:55
the world. And the amount of silver coming
22:57
out of the ground in Mexico has gone down by what, like 28% in
23:02
the last two years? Just at a time when those other
23:06
people across the ocean in India, right?
23:09
Mahoob and their friends. OK, OK boy, Susie's very active
23:16
this morning. I'm right in the middle of a
23:18
dramatic. I will, I'll do the pocket pair.
23:21
But guys guys, guys just at a time when India imports 120
23:27
million oz during the three month period, they imported more
23:31
silver in one three month period January, February, March, then
23:39
the all of last year. We know what's going on with
23:42
China. All right, let's do the pocket
23:48
pinger. Hold on here.
23:49
Why don't we ping we'll ping big Tim's and this is 10 times Tim,
23:54
Tim, excuse me 10 rings of the pinger for 100 thumbs up.
24:06
That's what real silver sounds like.
24:08
That's what real love and appreciation sounds like.
24:11
And we love and appreciate when you join us in the basement
24:14
because I know something about you.
24:17
Yeah. Yep.
24:18
I know you're joining from all over the world, but wherever
24:21
you're joining from is the most important place.
24:23
But you love silver and gold and you love people and you got some
24:28
great people here. What a group.
24:30
What an awesome time. Hold on.
24:31
I got to clear, clear out my. I have a cough.
24:33
Hold on one second. I'll be right back.
24:44
Now we got a lot more to talk about.
24:46
Yes, basement dwellers, we got a lot more to talk about because
24:51
we got massive, massive problems.
24:55
Let's just briefly touch on our friend Jerome Palm.
24:58
The Federal Reserve and his board of clowns, his Fed
25:01
governors, of which the state of Missouri has two Federal Reserve
25:05
banks, are all out talking hawkishly again.
25:09
Yes, that's been hurting. That's what hurt us the last few
25:12
days, right? And all inflation is whatever.
25:15
Noise. Ignore it.
25:17
OK, Noise. Ignore it.
25:18
Thank you, Metal Sear. Let's see what he had to say
25:21
here. As you enjoy your more Memorial
25:23
Day, we think about the fact that we may be facing monetary
25:27
issues, but we are not walking through a jungle fearing an
25:32
ambush. Yeah, we are prepared.
25:33
Thank you, Metal Sear, for that super chat.
25:36
OK. All right, All they can do is
25:39
talk. Bam.
25:40
We're done with that. Let's move on.
25:42
Let's talk about this one's funny.
25:47
Let's talk about how the economy is going to go into difficult
25:52
times. We'll say that nicely.
25:54
Another word for that is a recession.
25:56
It's another word if you notice they're using, but they got
25:59
something new. I got a surprise for you this
26:01
morning. Big surprise.
26:03
OK. The other word they're using is
26:05
hard landing. We might be in for a hard
26:08
landing. Yeah, maybe.
26:10
We might be in for a crash landing.
26:12
We might be in for a recession. We might be in for a depression.
26:16
Any of that stuff that happens, OK.
26:19
The economy is horrible, period, right?
26:23
It's not healthy. It is healthy according to
26:25
Biden, Biden in the White House. But reality is, we know there
26:29
are major cracks, right? Bubbling right, Cracks in the
26:34
surface, molten lava bubbling below the surface.
26:38
But if you heard the latest, they came up with a new word to
26:42
talk about the our economic condition in the United States.
26:47
Are you ready for this? I'll just, I'll just bring it up
26:50
and you can have a good laugh. And we're going to talk about
26:53
though there's something embedded within this article
26:59
that is awesome, awesome news for you and me as gold and
27:03
silver investors. But they're calling it a vibe
27:06
session. Experts say, OK, we're in a vibe
27:10
session. the US economy has remained remarkably strong.
27:14
We're going to talk about that. And yet no one, not everyone is
27:17
celebrating. OK, all right, let's go down.
27:19
I got this highlighted already for us, the United States of
27:25
America economy has remained remarkably strong.
27:30
Wrong, wrong. Wrong.
27:32
Sure, if you believe the BOS, the Bureau of Lies and
27:35
Statistics from Washington, DC, everything's great.
27:39
You know, the Roman Empire was telling everybody everything was
27:42
great. You know, they're always saying
27:43
every. Remember, Remember Bernanke?
27:45
Remember Ben Bernanke? Huh.
27:48
Everything's great, right? Everything's wonderful.
27:50
Oh, we just had a financial crisis.
27:53
I mean, guys, they're always going to say everything's great.
27:55
Boosted by strong labor market. Yeah, because it's a turned into
27:59
a slave labor country where people have to work three and
28:02
four jobs just to make ends meet.
28:04
The country has continued to expand since the COVID-19
28:09
pandemic, sidestepping earlier recessionary forecast even after
28:14
a series of Federal Reserve interest interest rate
28:17
increases. The the economy's doing so
28:21
great. I want you to ask yourself this
28:23
question. OK, Think back to 1971.
28:26
And if you're younger than that, think back to 1980.
28:29
Think back to 1990, but the but the the reality is, if the
28:34
economy is doing so great, why now our families, a husband and
28:39
wife both having to work and sometimes multiple jobs just to
28:44
make ends meet when in 1970, right, one parent could work and
28:49
a family could enjoy a very good lifestyle, but the economy is
28:53
great. Everything's I mean, right
28:55
there. Think, just think about that,
28:57
right? Think back even five years ago,
29:01
going to the grocery store, wouldn't you love to go back to
29:04
the I would love to go back to ALDI and buy a bag of chips that
29:08
now cost $2.00 for a dollar, right?
29:11
Or a steak that used to cost $9 that now cost $18.00.
29:16
OK, the. Yeah.
29:17
But the economy is great. And yet consumer sentiment
29:20
recently sank the six month lows.
29:23
That disconnect is what Joyce Chang, JP Morgan's chair of
29:27
global research, calls a vibe session.
29:30
We got bad vibes, right? A vibe session.
29:33
The economy's great, but there's bad vibes.
29:37
Well, the bad vibes are called reality.
29:38
Janice. Joyce Chang.
29:40
Now there's something that's gonna light your Wick.
29:45
Silver stacker, gold bug. Let's just work through this
29:50
quickly. If you're a home owner or if you
29:53
own financial assets, you've done very well, but you're
29:56
leaving out huge segments of the population.
29:59
OK. The wealth creation was
30:01
concentrated amongst homeowners and upper income brackets.
30:05
Yes, exactly. But you probably have about 1/3,
30:11
I'd say more like 1/2 of the population that's been left out
30:15
of that. That's why there's such a
30:17
disconnect. I disagree with her.
30:19
Yes, if you're rich, OK. This is what they call this is,
30:23
this is critical and, and, and, and, and, and an absolute truth.
30:27
OK #1 the part about the house is not true.
30:31
Your house is not, does not. If your house goes up in value,
30:35
I'm sorry guys, that does not make you richer.
30:37
That makes you have higher house insurance, taxes, everything
30:41
else. It's a house is not unless
30:44
you're going to sell it and move into a trailer.
30:48
It's not a financial asset. OK, Number two, yes, she's
30:57
right. If you had all your money piled
30:58
in the stock market, I mean, there's a lot of a lot of one of
31:02
the one of the smartest guys I know says a lot of dumb people
31:06
got rich over the last 20 years just by well, I just bought the
31:09
S&P 500. Good for them, they got rich.
31:12
That's wonderful. OK.
31:15
But that's what you call the for, for, for inflation for you
31:19
and me, right. And for people who are more
31:22
middle income that don't have all their money in the stock
31:25
market, it's called inflation. If you're rich and you have $10
31:30
million portfolio in the stock market or a 5 million or 100
31:34
million, they call that a bull market.
31:36
That's what inflation is in the stock market.
31:38
It's a bull market, OK. Many of these households have
31:42
exhausted their savings and are now leaning on credit cards,
31:45
recent report reports. We know this.
31:47
The purple part's what's going to get you excited I, I, I
31:50
strung you along too long. Credit card delinquencies are
31:54
horrible, young adults are giving up, right, Student loan
31:58
debts, blah blah blah. OK, this is where it's
32:01
interesting. Every client we've been talking
32:04
to over the last several months has brought up the concern of
32:08
they're worried about inflation. Let's repeat that.
32:13
They are worried about inflation, worried they can't
32:16
spend money. That's regardless of whether the
32:19
data is coming in good or bad. Let's go back.
32:22
I'm gonna say one final time. They're worried about inflation.
32:28
And when people start to worry about inflation, they're gonna
32:32
start to look for ways to protect themselves from the deva
32:37
Inflation is the devalue devaluation of the US dollar.
32:41
It's your dollar losing value. People are going to start to
32:44
look for ways to protect themselves against inflation.
32:49
Are they doing that by these new stackers going to Costco and
32:53
buying 10 oz silver bars and and one ounce gold Eagles?
32:58
Guys, that right there is, is, is is probably the best little
33:04
bit of news that we can ask for, right?
33:08
Because we're already here. But what that means is we're
33:11
going to have more people and more people joining us as silver
33:16
and gold investors. It gets worse.
33:18
You want some more, you want some more doom.
33:20
Let's just let's this economy and I made this prediction that
33:24
by the election we are going to have massive issues in the US
33:28
economy, not just a not just a hard landing, but I'm talking
33:34
about the potential for real serious financial issues coming
33:38
through. Now there's this theory that the
33:41
Chinese and the Russians want Joe Biden to be president again,
33:46
right? Because they look at him as as
33:49
being a little challenged. This is not a political show,
33:54
but there's a, there's a, a number of very smart analysts
33:58
that I've been following that are saying we act that the
34:01
Chinese and the Russians are actually going to do things to
34:04
help facilitate the current administration continuing on for
34:09
the next four years because they think that would be a more
34:13
conducive environment in which for them to operate.
34:16
OK, so that's the that's the oddball.
34:19
But I regardless believe that we are going to be in for some
34:24
very, very difficult times. Who's the smartest guy in the
34:28
room besides you? No, not me, OK?
34:32
I'm just the conduit trying to provide this information to you,
34:35
trying to provide opening my basement for you to join me
34:39
here, down here. And it's a big deal when you
34:41
come here, right? I can hear you imaginary walking
34:44
down the steps right now. But who's the other smartest guy
34:47
in the room? What's the biggest market?
34:50
Think about this. What's the what's the oldest
34:52
market in the world? The smartest in the oldest
34:56
market in the world. Silver and gold.
34:59
Silver was money before gold. They've been markets.
35:02
What do markets do? Markets look into the future.
35:05
Maybe that's why the price of gold and silver are going up.
35:08
So those are the smartest markets.
35:11
What's the biggest market in the world?
35:14
Well, it's got to be the stock market, right?
35:16
You'd think that, right, 'cause that's all the mainstream media
35:19
talks about. You know, that's all they talk
35:21
about. Hold on, Suzie's harkening me.
35:26
Yes, dear. OK, we got 200 thumbs up.
35:33
Let's we don't want her to fall. Let's ring the bell as a sign of
35:38
thank you. 200 thumbs up. Thank you guys for the thumbs
35:44
up. That's fun.
35:45
The biggest market in the world is the bond market.
35:51
Who is the bond king? Right?
35:53
The smartest guy out there and he's willing to tell the truth.
35:58
He always has been. I love him.
36:00
Jeffrey Gunlach, what's Jeffrey Gunlach saying?
36:03
Let's go check out what Jeffrey Gunlach saying again, This is
36:07
the bond king. OK, up.
36:10
I missed something there. We'll come back to that.
36:13
All right, this comes from Yahoo Finance Double line CEO.
36:18
That would be Jeffrey Gunlach expects imminent US recession,
36:23
government debt surge. Recession means Federal Reserve
36:29
print money. Means gold and silver get
36:32
massive support. OK.
36:34
Government debt surge means Federal Reserve print money.
36:39
Print that the value of your dollar at the bank where it's
36:42
always safe. Oh, I put my money in the bank
36:45
because the banks have always the banks of that banks are
36:48
safe. Well, they have been my whole
36:50
life. That's called recency bias and
36:53
just because something's been safe your whole life doesn't
36:56
mean it's gonna be safe for your whole life.
36:59
Wow, that was prophetic anyway. Government debt surge dollar go
37:04
down in bail. You let's see what Jeffrey says.
37:07
Jeffrey Gundlach, the chief executive investment management
37:10
of the investment management economy double line capital
37:12
expects in Orange AUS recession as soon as this year.
37:20
He said that on Thursday. Sorry guys, I have a cough
37:22
today. Hold on, I'll be right back.
37:27
Don't leave me. As higher interest rates
37:35
pressure US consumers and companies.
37:39
Yes, higher interest rates, less money out there right now.
37:43
Signals of brewing trouble in the US economy, such as rising
37:47
credit card delinquencies and softer retail sales.
37:50
Data suggests that nobody can afford to buy stuff at the
37:54
dollar store anymore because the dollar store is now the dollar
37:58
25 store. I digress, because that suggests
38:02
the possibility of an economic contraction is more imminent
38:07
than the risk of an inflationary rebound, Jeffrey said.
38:11
There's a lot of recessionary signals out there, he said,
38:14
speaking at a webinar hosted by David Rosenberg, founder and
38:18
president of Rosenberg Research. Hey, called.
38:22
It's like a guy that calls his YouTube channel after his first
38:25
name of his basement after it. Anyway, there's more of a
38:29
recessionary feel than an inflationary feel, he said,
38:34
again, highlighted in green, often dubbed the bond king.
38:39
The bond market is multiples bigger than the stock market,
38:44
OK? He talks about staying away from
38:45
all this debt. We're not really into that,
38:47
'cause he's the bond king. OK, OK, now this is where it
38:51
gets interesting. I'll just read the whole
38:54
paragraph at the yellow parts where it's really super
38:56
interesting. I've got this crazy idea that I
38:58
want to buy only the lowest coupon treasuries because if you
39:02
have a very low coupon treasury, I don't have to worry about
39:06
being restructured. What he's talking about here,
39:09
guys, is the Fed monetizing the debt, the Fed getting to a point
39:14
where where the only way, the only way that the US government
39:19
and our old friend Yellen can survive is if the Fed prints
39:23
money and keeps interest rates low, which truly is a debt
39:27
spiral, he says. I worry.
39:30
He's worried. The bond King's worried that the
39:32
federal government might be forced to restructure the
39:35
Treasury debt. OK, monetize the debt.
39:39
Japan tried it. It's not worked out too well for
39:42
them. All right, we got one more fun,
39:46
optimistic. Oh, let's look at this.
39:48
What about the dollar? What about hold on, What about
39:51
China? We haven't talked about the
39:53
bricks in a while. The bricks are reshaping the
39:56
world. The bricks are reshaping the
40:01
gold and silver market. That's an absolute fact, OK,
40:04
It's happening. The only people, the only
40:07
reason, guys, I gotta, I don't wanna break your heart here, but
40:10
the only reason the gold price and the silver price had done so
40:13
well is because of China is because of India, OK?
40:18
They are reshaping the precious metals market.
40:23
They're reshaping. The monetary market, the BRICS,
40:26
Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, right, Iran, Saudi
40:30
Arabia, Ethiopia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
40:34
There's ten of them now and who knows how many there's going to
40:37
be a year from now, possibly like 18.
40:39
And there's like another 68 countries that want to join the
40:43
BRICS 'cause they're fed up with the United States.
40:46
They want off the dollar. They're tired of being abused by
40:51
the dollar system. OK, sorry.
40:53
It's just the fact that we, the United States, abused its
40:57
privilege of being the world reserve currency.
41:00
Now. Oh, do we get another super
41:02
chat? Let's go.
41:03
We're gonna see a chart here that is mind numbing.
41:05
Hello, Neil. Good to see you.
41:07
Thank you for the Super chat. Neil says by silver, platinum
41:11
and crystallized osmium, which is an interesting new precious
41:15
metal that's out there. Thank you, Neil, for the Super
41:18
chat. But what proof?
41:21
What more proof do we need that we are de dollarizing than this?
41:25
This is shocking. The start of de dollarization.
41:29
China's gradual move away from the US dollar.
41:36
OK. China's gradual move away from
41:38
the dollar. This chart shows the share of
41:40
China's trade settled in renminbi.
41:44
I never understand. Is it called the renminbi?
41:46
What's the difference between the Chinese yuan in the R.E.M.?
41:49
NIMBY or is it the same thing? OK, anyway, the share of China's
41:53
trade settled in their home currency has increased
41:57
substantially over the last 15 years.
42:01
Guys, when people move away from the dollar, they send those
42:04
dollars back to the United States just at a time when the
42:08
United States has more debt than any other time in history and
42:13
needs the world to need the dollar.
42:16
What is going on? Look at this chart.
42:18
And China, remember some people are saying is the biggest
42:22
economy in the world. Look at this.
42:25
The yellow is the amount of China's cross-border payments
42:29
and receipts that they're doing in their home currency.
42:33
Do you see something here? Right?
42:35
It went from .3% in 2010. What that, that's incredible.
42:41
That's just 14 years ago all the way up to 53% now, right?
42:48
They were doing 83%. Now they're doing 42% in U.S.
42:53
dollars. This is D dollarization, right?
42:57
This is, is, is, is the world moving away from the Petro
43:02
dollar. This is dollars coming back to
43:04
the United States just at a time when we need to be exporting our
43:10
inflation. We're headed, we're headed for
43:12
some very, very interesting points here.
43:17
Hold on. I want to look at this.
43:19
Where was it? What was it?
43:22
Oh, this is the 50 year we looked at this already
43:25
Interesting. And I'm going to make a video
43:27
about this fifty year chart of silver.
43:31
The green section is where we are now.
43:33
OK cup. It's our daily cup and handle.
43:37
This is good news for silver investors. 198050 dollars cup,
43:44
2011 $50 big cup handle wee it's flying away to you.
43:50
It's going all the way up here to $300.00 silver.
43:54
But do you see something else within the handle?
43:57
Cup and handle? It's a cup and handle within a
44:02
cup and handle. We also have a wedge pattern
44:04
that it broke out of and we have an inverse.
44:08
I think you can see it here and upside down head and shoulders.
44:12
It's just absolutely crazy. OK, let's go to this one.
44:17
Wrong one. Here we go.
44:18
Never heard of this website before.
44:20
I looked it up. I forget.
44:21
It's something about the oh shoot, bear with me, something
44:26
about the consumer TFTC, Where was it?
44:31
It says what their name is anyway.
44:32
Citigroup chief economist predicts U.S. economy also
44:36
facing a hard landing Did you? In a recent interview on CNBS,
44:42
Citigroup's chief economist Andrew Holland Horst expressed
44:46
concern over the state of the US labor market and predicted a
44:50
hard landing for the economy. Holland Horst.
44:54
And there's something interesting at the bottom of
44:56
this I have highlighted for you. Well, Holland Horst pointed to a
45:01
gradual softening in the job market, such as hiring
45:04
intentions among small businesses because, you know,
45:07
44% of small businesses can't pay their rent, reaching their
45:11
lowest level since 2016 and the overall hiring rate falling to
45:16
its lowest since 2014, based on data from the National.
45:21
Federer. OK, whatever.
45:23
There was something else. During the interview, Holenhorst
45:26
elaborated on his views, explaining that while certain
45:28
labor market reports like the establishment survey payroll
45:32
show strength, a closer look at small and medium firms reveals
45:36
more worrying trends. He believes that the decrease in
45:40
working hours and the slowing hiring rates could snowball into
45:47
a more severe economic downturn. So everywhere we got the, we got
45:54
the bond king telling us we got trouble in, in the economy, in
45:59
the market. OK, we, we've got a Citibank
46:02
telling us we have trouble in the economy in the market.
46:06
They're trying to tell us that we've got a vibe session, really
46:09
a vibe. Remember, that's all good, good,
46:12
good, good vibrations. Well, we got bad vibrations in
46:16
the United States, right? Because a big chunk of the
46:21
country can't afford to live and they've exhausted their credit
46:26
cards. They've exhausted their savings.
46:29
Do you know what they're doing now?
46:30
Are you doing this? Have you gotten so desperate, I
46:33
hope you haven't, that you're now taking money out of your
46:36
401K, turning your 4I used to hate when people say this, but
46:40
I'll say turning your 401K into a 301K, right?
46:45
Just so you can pay your electric bill, right?
46:48
You're not retired yet. That was supposed to be
46:50
retirement money that was supposed to provide this
46:52
wonderful future for you and your family.
46:55
But now, right, Right. What happened?
46:57
What happened to this country? You know, I'll tell you what
47:00
happened. You know what?
47:01
The leaders pillaged your country, right?
47:06
And there's only really really one thing at this point, my
47:11
opinion, not giving financial advice that can save us and
47:15
that's silver and gold. OK, all this make believe paper
47:19
that I talked with David Hunter yesterday.
47:21
You know who David Hunter is? He's a a very bold, courageous,
47:26
smart man who's worked on Wall Street.
47:29
Then he's been in the business for 50 years.
47:33
OK, I've got a video, a long video interview coming out with
47:37
David Hunter, right? Very great guy, very smart, very
47:40
nice guy, good hearted man. He does not see good things for
47:44
the future in this country. We, we, he's predicting we're
47:48
going to have a big party this summer.
47:50
It's going to be party time. He's, you know, I mean, we're
47:52
talking, you're going to love. I mean, he's talking about
47:55
silver and gold prices absolutely potentially
47:59
skyrocketing soon, OK. But shortly thereafter, a bust.
48:06
Like I'm saying, it fits with my prediction that by the by the
48:09
election, we, we could have a big bust.
48:11
And then going out for a decade, going out to 2030, very
48:17
difficult times for this country.
48:20
Very, very difficult. But but silver and gold prices
48:24
that you aren't gonna believe, OK, like $20,000 gold, silver,
48:29
like you aren't gonna believe. But what happened?
48:31
What went wrong, right? Your leaders pillaged your
48:34
country. It's as simple as that.
48:37
I mean, you know, and it's been going on for decades.
48:39
I'm not. I'm not, I'm not.
48:41
I'm an independent, so this is not a political statement.
48:46
It's been going on for decades in this country.
48:49
It really started around 1971, didn't it, when Nixon
48:52
temporarily took us off the gold standard.
48:55
Is there any hope? Do you believe there's hope?
48:57
I believe there is hope. I believe that the Founding
49:01
Fathers, remember in high school they forced you to take that
49:05
Constitution class. It's like the, it's like the,
49:09
the, the Bible of the country, right?
49:12
It's like whatever they call it, you know, the, the foundation of
49:14
the country. Guess what?
49:16
Those guys went through hell to write that document.
49:20
Like had their houses burned down, their, some of their
49:23
families were killed. You should hear about what they
49:25
went through. But they put one thing in there
49:28
for you and me, right? They put language into the US
49:32
Constitution about silver and gold.
49:34
So when people, you know, you and I in this country, we're
49:39
the, we're the lone wolves, right?
49:41
We're the leader of the pack, right?
49:44
But when you, you know, when, when you get Flack from people
49:49
or whatever about the fact that you, you're an enthusiast about
49:52
silver and gold that you kind of see and know what's going on.
49:56
Remember that. Remember, you see and know
49:59
what's going on. You're investing in silver and
50:02
gold, which are the smartest and oldest markets in the world.
50:04
But you're also doing something that the founding fathers of
50:09
this country, right, were proponents of.
50:12
You're making moves to be your own central bank, enabling
50:16
yourself to use silver and gold as real money.
50:19
