- 0:03You need some good news after the last few days.
- 0:06Silver and gold took it on the chin.
- 0:08How about $36,000 gold? We're going to talk about that
- 0:13in just a few seconds. How about silver, $4.00 per oz
- 0:17higher than it is right now. But right now we have something
- 0:21very important, silver investors in particular to talk about.
- 0:25We are engaged in a war today, right now, fighting to close
- 0:30above $30 per oz on a weekly basis.
- 0:34That is going to be huge. We can do it.
- 0:38We're going to check on the silver price here in just a few
- 0:40seconds. I kind of saved it for the
- 0:43video. I know earlier it was up, but
- 0:45you know, silvers been moving around like crazy.
- 0:48Silver was up like $0.35 per oz in the spot market earlier.
- 0:52It could very easily be down a dollar an ounce right now or up
- 0:56significantly as well. We've been having big, big moves
- 1:01in the silver market and you know what?
- 1:03We're going to talk about why that is so important relative to
- 1:07what we experienced over the last few years.
- 1:10We'll do that in just a second, but let's dive right into some
- 1:12good news. Thank you for being here.
- 1:15Basement dwellers, you are the most important part of Ron's
- 1:18basement. Please give this a thumbs up and
- 1:21subscribe if you haven't subscribed.
- 1:23But most importantly, enjoy your time here.
- 1:26You are the most important part of the basement and you can make
- 1:28a lot of friends in the comment section.
- 1:30We love to hear your thoughts. We love to learn from you in the
- 1:34comment section. Let's go out here and take a
- 1:37look at how did Ron come up with the idea of 36, $1000 gold.
- 1:45Well, I'm going to explain it to you.
- 1:46And I also have. Yeah, it's a spreadsheet that
- 1:50we're going to look at here. Hold on a second, We'll get to
- 1:54that. But let's get back here.
- 1:56Make sure we're still live. We are.
- 1:58We're still live. OK, let's go here.
- 2:01This is a guy named Grad HY Commodities.
- 2:04I don't know. Anyway, great.
- 2:05He puts out some very interesting things on Twitter.
- 2:08This chart, OK. And I'm going to zoom in on it
- 2:12here in just one second, shows us just how undervalued gold and
- 2:18silver are right now. Guys, this is this is historic
- 2:22on many, many levels. Most people don't realize it.
- 2:26Your neighbors don't realize it. But there's also something
- 2:29embedded in this information about the gold price, about the
- 2:33silver price that gives us reason to be very, very
- 2:37optimistic. I don't want to use, do we want
- 2:39to use the word hope, right? Hope is not an investment
- 2:43strategy. We, we are optimistic based on
- 2:46fundamentals and I'm going to show you why here in just one
- 2:50second here. He said yet another sign that
- 2:52massive moves are coming for precious metals stay the course
- 2:57as the secular bull market has resumed with gold's historic
- 3:01breakout 5 months ago. We talked about that guys.
- 3:06Actually, we were early in mid-december, we talked about
- 3:09how absolutely everything is different now for silver and
- 3:14gold after long-suffering for three years.
- 3:17And I'm going to show you that on another chart here in a
- 3:19little bit, that the weather pattern had changed, the tide
- 3:22had turned. We were in a new paradigm.
- 3:25I don't know how else to say it, but everything's different now
- 3:28and everything is different. Throw the old normal out the
- 3:32window. Nonetheless, he says, everything
- 3:35looks fine. It's going to be the ride of our
- 3:38lives. I like this guy.
- 3:40Make sure you will be able to make the most of it all in every
- 3:45necessary way. So what are we looking at here?
- 3:48Let's zoom in on this chart that I think is can I move this over?
- 3:52Hopefully I don't screw something up here.
- 3:54OK, there we go. OK guys, this chart compares the
- 3:58price of gold to the S&P 500. OK.
- 4:02As you can see currently you know the price of gold is what
- 4:062300 and the S&P 500 is around 5300 something like that.
- 4:12So the current ratio, OK, it's a ratio compares the price of gold
- 4:17to the S&P 500 is at .45, OK. That means that the an ounce of
- 4:24gold will get you about less, a little bit less than 1/2 of 1
- 4:28unit of the S&P 500. Look at this on a historic
- 4:32basis, number one, OK, look how low it is, but where it's even
- 4:37more, even more interesting. This pink area, right?
- 4:40That's that 10 year bull market that we had in gold and silver
- 4:46that went up when silver went all the way to what, $50 per oz.
- 4:49But obviously this is looking at gold.
- 4:52It got lower back then right around the year 2000.
- 4:55But when it broke out, similar to what it's doing right now, it
- 5:00went up and up and up and up and again.
- 5:03And I've got something critical that we need to realize about
- 5:06this. But first I need to show you why
- 5:08this chart shows us that we could get $36,000 gold.
- 5:14I know it sounds preposterous, I agree, but, but, but look back
- 5:20here. Look, back in 1980, OK, Look
- 5:23over here. Back then, the gold to S&P 500
- 5:28ratio was at 7, probably got even to 7 1/2, but for
- 5:32simplicity's sake, we'll say seven.
- 5:35That means one ounce of gold was seven times more expensive than
- 5:40the S&P 500 index. OK.
- 5:42So let's go to this. Let's go to this beautiful
- 5:45spreadsheet that I made you. OK, there it is.
- 5:48Ratio high 1980 of seven. Here's today's numbers, right,
- 5:53gold 2330. Well, this was last night's
- 5:55numbers, but bear with me, I can't, you know, update
- 5:58everything real time. The S&P 5267, the current ratio
- 6:03.44. Again in 1980 this hit a high of
- 6:08seven. For the gold to S&P ratio to get
- 6:12back to seven, to be 7 times more valuable than the S&P, we
- 6:18would need gold at. I got a bonus for you, not just
- 6:21$36,000, but 36,869. And I, I know it sounds crazy.
- 6:28What do you think silver would be?
- 6:33Oh baby, maybe, I don't know, $814.00 Anyway, it sounds crazy
- 6:38to say $36,000 gold. But guys, it's, it's, it's real.
- 6:43These numbers don't lie. We've been at the same ratio in
- 6:47the past, but what's even more interesting, and let's just look
- 6:52at this 2011 more a little more recently, OK?
- 6:55Gold got to about 2000. All right, let's go back here to
- 6:59this chart real quickly. 2011, OK, the ratio was at 1.5.
- 7:05An ounce of gold was 1.5 times more valuable.
- 7:10I lost my voice there than the S&P 500, OK, if that were the
- 7:16case today, we would have about right here $7300 gold.
- 7:22Now this isn't really, I mean, it's exciting to think, yeah,
- 7:25sure, sure, we could get crazy, absolute crazy numbers on the
- 7:31gold price 36,000. You know, look, the numbers, the
- 7:36ratios don't lie. But what's important when we
- 7:39look at that chart, we pull it up quickly one more time is to
- 7:43realize what this chart shows us is that we are in a situation
- 7:49when you compare, OK, when you compare the value of real
- 7:54assets, OK, And it's not just gold, it's silver.
- 7:58It's all the commodities to the Unicorn fart dust electronic
- 8:04credit based money printing based assets in the world, the
- 8:09S&P 500, the derivatives, any of that stuff.
- 8:12The, the, the, the relationship is so out of whack.
- 8:16And guys, throughout history, whenever that happened, always
- 8:21there was some type of major, major reset sometime when when
- 8:26the paper make believe and we can look at it through extras
- 8:29pyramid as well. However you want to look at it
- 8:31when the paper make believe values became so overvalued
- 8:36relative to the value of real assets, gold, silver, land,
- 8:41probably oil, probably a lot of things.
- 8:44We entered what was called a commodity super cycle, OK.
- 8:49And that also is a period of time that ushered in may always
- 8:53ushered in major changes within the monetary system.
- 8:56Are you thinking about the bricks?
- 8:58Are you thinking about how the BRICS nations are talking about
- 9:02building a new monetary? They are building right,
- 9:05alternative monetary systems right now.
- 9:09I mean, the value of an ounce of gold relative to the S&P 500.5
- 9:15is so far out of whack it doesn't make any sense.
- 9:18Let's talk about silver. I want to go to the silver chart
- 9:21here quickly and look at what's going on.
- 9:26OK, again, let's do an update. You know what, first let's go
- 9:31out to pin backs and get an update on the silver and gold
- 9:34price so we know what's going on in the spot market.
- 9:38OK, this is I need to refresh it, so take a deep breath.
- 9:41All right, Silver up 47 cents. Yes, and that's the spot price.
- 9:47I believe we're very close to the spot price.
- 9:49Gold up $16.00. Let's let's be very, very
- 9:54optimistic that this $30 support level holds everybody.
- 10:00I was watching this was funny. I was watching wait, whoa, whoa,
- 10:02whoa, whoa, whoa. Before I forget, do yourself a
- 10:05favor. If you get to the point where
- 10:07you want to buy, you want to add your silver stack, your gold
- 10:10stack, your platinum group metal stack, check out Pinbex.
- 10:15OK, You always want to get the most metal for your money #1
- 10:21when you're buying precious metals, whether you're buying
- 10:23sovereign coins, bars, rounds, whatever it is, Pendek's prices
- 10:27I have found are always pretty much, I want to say impossible,
- 10:32but very, very, very difficult to beat.
- 10:35OK, thank you. On top of that, that was Susie
- 10:38chiming in. You're going to get the best
- 10:40prices. They've got a great selection.
- 10:42And, and, and critical is that you work with a company you can
- 10:46trust. Read the reviews on Pembex.
- 10:49I will give you my review, which is I worked with Pembex before
- 10:53they sponsored my channel and I was a very happy customer, which
- 10:57is why I took them on as a sponsor because I believe in
- 10:59them. I can tell you all right, do
- 11:01yourself a favor and check out Pembex.
- 11:04Now let's go back to this silver chart.
- 11:07OK, this is interesting guys. I know yesterday and the day
- 11:11before, we were very, very discouraged.
- 11:14Again, look at this move. I have a couple notes here.
- 11:17The price of silver from what was that 212?
- 11:21Well, let's look at my birthday. Well, anyway, let's go 2/12/22
- 11:26dollars an ounce up to $30.00 an ounce and 8% increase on on
- 11:33$22.00. I don't know, at least 30% in
- 11:36what February to February, Where were we right there?
- 11:42OK, February. That was three months ago.
- 11:46We you know, here there $22.00 on February 12th.
- 11:50So a little over three months ago we had an $8 per oz
- 11:54increase, almost 40%. OK, probably getting close high
- 11:5930%. So what's important then we look
- 12:02at this chart and and we draw an imaginary line, follow my
- 12:06cursor, right, is that it keeps continuing up.
- 12:09These things are going to happen, see they happen there,
- 12:13OK? We don't want.
- 12:16I know we do want, and maybe you're like me, right?
- 12:19We do. We just want the price of silver
- 12:20to go parabolic, right, $60.00 an ounce, whatever.
- 12:24But really guys, the hard truth is we don't really want a
- 12:29parabolic move up, OK? We don't want the price of
- 12:33silver. Let's go look at this chart real
- 12:35quickly. I want to show you what a
- 12:37parabolic move looks like. It looks like this, OK?
- 12:40This comes from Investing haven. When you get like it's like a
- 12:44rocket when it blasts off with rocket fuel, right, which we
- 12:48would love. It'd be so exciting, I know, but
- 12:51rockets eventually run out of fuel and come crashing back
- 12:55down. As you can see right here.
- 12:57What we want is a slow, steady stair step type increase in the
- 13:03silver price. We want this right up, up, down,
- 13:07a little bit, consolidate up, up, down a little bit,
- 13:10consolidate up, up, up, up. You know, we want it to happen
- 13:15somewhat gradually and somewhat overtime.
- 13:17Now the other important thing to look at the top analysts are
- 13:20saying it's unbelievable. We looked at this yesterday.
- 13:23When you look at the price of silver over the like the the
- 13:27nine months leading up to when it took off, it was so dead.
- 13:31What's the word that they were using?
- 13:33Dormant. It was dormant like really no
- 13:36other time in history. Silver is a very volatile metal
- 13:41period. That's a fact.
- 13:42And it was very, very dormant. Let's go back over five years as
- 13:47a result. OK, Look at this right.
- 13:49As a result, we know, we know that people are looking at all
- 13:54these indicators and saying, oh, the RSI is oversold, overbought,
- 13:57whatever the the MACD, all these things.
- 14:01What the smart people are saying is you really have to throw all
- 14:05that data out because that last 2-3 year period that we had this
- 14:10dormant period in silver is really exceptional when you look
- 14:15at a long, long term price chart for the silver price.
- 14:19OK, rockets run out of fuel, the norm's been broken.
- 14:23OK, we broke out and, and, and right now, at the end of the
- 14:28day, I don't know what else to say about silver.
- 14:31You know, I know you love silver.
- 14:33I love silver. And what we really want to see
- 14:37happen are some consolidations and nice gradual moves up.
- 14:42OK, I, you know, yeah, the last two days, painful, no doubt
- 14:45about it. But let's go to our daily
- 14:47update. All right, let's look at the
- 14:49silver price. Let's go see what's going on in
- 14:53China. It's always interesting.
- 14:55So we're at $30.50 in the United States right now on silver.
- 15:01Let's update it. OK, 30.
- 15:03Yeah, $30.50. Let's go look.
- 15:07Just get our update from the Oriental Ghost.
- 15:10OK? Silver closed on the Shanghai
- 15:13Gold Exchange at 34 down almost, pretty much, pretty much $4.00
- 15:20an ounce higher. I mean, guys, it's just
- 15:23unbelievable what's happening right now with China and silver
- 15:27and, and the metal will continue to move to the East.
- 15:35There's no doubt about it. So now we're getting talk about,
- 15:38are you hearing this commodity super cycle, not just us in the
- 15:42basement, but the big guys, right?
- 15:44Are you hearing it on CNBC, on Yahoo Finance?
- 15:48We're in a commodity super cycle that includes gold and silver.
- 15:52OK. The question is that we need to
- 15:55ask ourselves, why did it take so long, right?
- 15:58And, and the fact that it did take so long is a big, big deal
- 16:03because it built up all that pain that you went through and I
- 16:08went through over the last two to three years.
- 16:10Like, like nobody knows, right? If you've been invested in
- 16:13silver, if you've been invested in the precious metal mining
- 16:16stocks, nobody knows the pain that we went through, right?
- 16:21I mean, hey, your family, your friends, people don't really
- 16:24care, you know? I mean, they're like, oh, well,
- 16:26yeah, investments go down. Well, no.
- 16:28It was a painful, painful period for all of us to go through.
- 16:31It's a big deal because all that pain, this is critical, OK?
- 16:36What it did was it built a solid base.
- 16:39All the weak hands, all the people, they couldn't take it
- 16:43anymore. You know what they did?
- 16:45They sold. They went bye bye.
- 16:47All the people that bought silver, remember the silver
- 16:49squeeze in 2021? Were you part of that?
- 16:52Right. I was around.
- 16:53I wasn't real. I guess I was part of it.
- 16:55But were you part of it? Do you remember all these people
- 16:58came flooding into the silver market?
- 17:01OK, Right up to the GameStop and AMC thing, right?
- 17:05And oh, silver's going to the moon and blah, blah, blah.
- 17:09Oh, I got super Chad. Thank you.
- 17:11OK, Thank you, Susie. Thank you.
- 17:13Hold on one second here. Hey, Derek.
- 17:17Wow, man. Good morning.
- 17:20All right, Thank you, Derek Myers.
- 17:22That's awesome. Wow, that pumps me up.
- 17:24I can buy 1/2 an ounce of silver.
- 17:26I appreciate that super chats are always super appreciated.
- 17:29But the pain, this is the good news.
- 17:33All that pain, all those people that bought during the silver
- 17:36squeeze that a year, 18 months, they all got silver.
- 17:41It was a bad they they got they got shaken out.
- 17:44What was left in silver, what was left in in gold, but gold's
- 17:50already kind of doing well, but what was also left in the
- 17:53precious metal mining stocks were the people who are strong
- 17:57hearted. What do they call them?
- 17:58Diamond hands, right? Or Pete, Pete.
- 18:01So it built an incredible. This is exciting for us guys as
- 18:05precious metal mining stock investors, as silver investors,
- 18:09even as gold investors. It built this strong base of
- 18:13people holding. Now we know China's buying all
- 18:16the gold all the silver that's helping the price now it's so
- 18:19exciting for us to realize that when our cohorts join us right
- 18:25when your uncle Fred think of one of your uncles, think of one
- 18:28of your aunts think of one of your neighbors think of one of
- 18:32your Co workers right think of one of your fellow churchgoers.
- 18:36I don't know think of whoever you need think cohorts.
- 18:40Sorry, Susie does not get does not.
- 18:41I get in a lot of trouble with Susie.
- 18:43And if she keeps giving me trouble, I can turn her off if
- 18:47she's bothering us anyway. Hi, Susie.
- 18:49Anyway, all those people, when they when they join the party,
- 18:53baby, it's going to be hold on a second.
- 19:01I didn't hear you. What?
- 19:01You better not turn me off, OK? We'll put you back in your
- 19:08throne. Susie, thank you for all your
- 19:10help. We love Susie.
- 19:11I joke around. Susie is the best.
- 19:14Look last night I work, I work at a little big job at night,
- 19:19OK? And I'm walking out and it's
- 19:21like 9 at 9:30, I don't know, 10:30 at night.
- 19:24And the wife of one of my Co workers is there and she's a
- 19:26silver stacker. She loves Lynette Zhang.
- 19:28You know what she asked me? Here's her question.
- 19:30She said, I got a bunch of questions for you, Ron.
- 19:33And she joins us. Her name's Deborah.
- 19:34Hello Deborah. I hope you're feeling good.
- 19:36Nonetheless. She said what, what let's say
- 19:40silver goes to, I think she said 2000 cause Lennet Zhang's been
- 19:44talking about silver going to $2000.
- 19:46And she was like, how would I sell it?
- 19:49Who would buy my silver for $2000.00 an ounce?
- 19:52And I said, look, I think that's kind of a figure of speech that
- 19:55that's really what the value of silver is.
- 19:58I don't know that I'm not me personally.
- 20:00I'm for it. I love Lynette Zhang, she knows
- 20:03that. I don't know that.
- 20:04I'm not like expecting silver to go to $2000 per oz.
- 20:08It's really worth that or even more.
- 20:10But none the less, Deborah was worried about like, how would I
- 20:13sell it If it does skyrocket, If silver goes to $130.00 an ounce,
- 20:17are people going to be wanting to buy it?
- 20:20And I said, well, you need to think about this, right?
- 20:23Would nobody want your silver? Let's say look it's show and
- 20:27tell time let's take out big Tim Silvershire, this beautiful
- 20:31round he gave me right. We love looking at silver.
- 20:35What I can't get the angle right there it is let's say this goes
- 20:38to from from whatever we're at now, $30.50 to $124 per oz.
- 20:46Is anybody going to want it? That was Deborah's question.
- 20:48That was her predicament, and I understand that thinking.
- 20:51Like who would buy it? If when silver goes to $120.00
- 20:58an ounce, it's gonna go to that price because of demand, right?
- 21:03The supply is being constricted. It's gonna go there because of
- 21:07demand. So yes, people will be wanting
- 21:12to buy your silver for $120.00 an ounce.
- 21:15Now, if it's a parabolic rocket ship, right?
- 21:19It might be a very short window, but we don't want that.
- 21:21Like we talked about earlier, we're going to see a stairs,
- 21:25stair step just like those stairs maybe that you can see
- 21:28behind me here in the basement, right?
- 21:30So when it does get there, it's only going to get there because
- 21:33of huge demand. And huge demand means there's a
- 21:36lot of people who are going to want to be buying your silver.
- 21:40It's going to be a whole new environment, a whole new world.
- 21:43So I wanted to bring that one up.
- 21:45Commodity super cycle such a big deal and we got the supplies
- 21:49like we can't let's just this is this is this is like drinking a
- 21:55a cup of hot cocoa. For those of you who own
- 21:58physical silver, OK, something we haven't talked about for
- 22:01months, right? But you got to remember, the
- 22:05supply of silver from the mining companies is going down the
- 22:09tubes, right? You can't get permits in the
- 22:13United States. I was, I was listening to a
- 22:16Fortitude Gold's earning call the other day.
- 22:18They can't get permits in Nevada, right?
- 22:21With this current administration, they're making
- 22:23it hard in the United States to get permits, but they're making
- 22:27it even harder in Mexico. Yes, Mexico.
- 22:31You know, that country to the South of us that is the world's
- 22:35biggest producer of silver. They're current.
- 22:39What's your name, Amlo? They hate mining.
- 22:43They hate it. Ask any miner that tries to
- 22:46operate in Mexico. Mexico is the biggest producer
- 22:50of silver in the world. Not in North America, not in no
- 22:55the world. And the amount of silver coming
- 22:57out of the ground in Mexico has gone down by what, like 28% in
- 23:02the last two years? Just at a time when those other
- 23:06people across the ocean in India, right?
- 23:09Mahoob and their friends. OK, OK boy, Susie's very active
- 23:16this morning. I'm right in the middle of a
- 23:18dramatic. I will, I'll do the pocket pair.
- 23:21But guys guys, guys just at a time when India imports 120
- 23:27million oz during the three month period, they imported more
- 23:31silver in one three month period January, February, March, then
- 23:39the all of last year. We know what's going on with
- 23:42China. All right, let's do the pocket
- 23:48pinger. Hold on here.
- 23:49Why don't we ping we'll ping big Tim's and this is 10 times Tim,
- 23:54Tim, excuse me 10 rings of the pinger for 100 thumbs up.
- 24:06That's what real silver sounds like.
- 24:08That's what real love and appreciation sounds like.
- 24:11And we love and appreciate when you join us in the basement
- 24:14because I know something about you.
- 24:17Yeah. Yep.
- 24:18I know you're joining from all over the world, but wherever
- 24:21you're joining from is the most important place.
- 24:23But you love silver and gold and you love people and you got some
- 24:28great people here. What a group.
- 24:30What an awesome time. Hold on.
- 24:31I got to clear, clear out my. I have a cough.
- 24:33Hold on one second. I'll be right back.
- 24:44Now we got a lot more to talk about.
- 24:46Yes, basement dwellers, we got a lot more to talk about because
- 24:51we got massive, massive problems.
- 24:55Let's just briefly touch on our friend Jerome Palm.
- 24:58The Federal Reserve and his board of clowns, his Fed
- 25:01governors, of which the state of Missouri has two Federal Reserve
- 25:05banks, are all out talking hawkishly again.
- 25:09Yes, that's been hurting. That's what hurt us the last few
- 25:12days, right? And all inflation is whatever.
- 25:15Noise. Ignore it.
- 25:17OK, Noise. Ignore it.
- 25:18Thank you, Metal Sear. Let's see what he had to say
- 25:21here. As you enjoy your more Memorial
- 25:23Day, we think about the fact that we may be facing monetary
- 25:27issues, but we are not walking through a jungle fearing an
- 25:32ambush. Yeah, we are prepared.
- 25:33Thank you, Metal Sear, for that super chat.
- 25:36OK. All right, All they can do is
- 25:39talk. Bam.
- 25:40We're done with that. Let's move on.
- 25:42Let's talk about this one's funny.
- 25:47Let's talk about how the economy is going to go into difficult
- 25:52times. We'll say that nicely.
- 25:54Another word for that is a recession.
- 25:56It's another word if you notice they're using, but they got
- 25:59something new. I got a surprise for you this
- 26:01morning. Big surprise.
- 26:03OK. The other word they're using is
- 26:05hard landing. We might be in for a hard
- 26:08landing. Yeah, maybe.
- 26:10We might be in for a crash landing.
- 26:12We might be in for a recession. We might be in for a depression.
- 26:16Any of that stuff that happens, OK.
- 26:19The economy is horrible, period, right?
- 26:23It's not healthy. It is healthy according to
- 26:25Biden, Biden in the White House. But reality is, we know there
- 26:29are major cracks, right? Bubbling right, Cracks in the
- 26:34surface, molten lava bubbling below the surface.
- 26:38But if you heard the latest, they came up with a new word to
- 26:42talk about the our economic condition in the United States.
- 26:47Are you ready for this? I'll just, I'll just bring it up
- 26:50and you can have a good laugh. And we're going to talk about
- 26:53though there's something embedded within this article
- 26:59that is awesome, awesome news for you and me as gold and
- 27:03silver investors. But they're calling it a vibe
- 27:06session. Experts say, OK, we're in a vibe
- 27:10session. the US economy has remained remarkably strong.
- 27:14We're going to talk about that. And yet no one, not everyone is
- 27:17celebrating. OK, all right, let's go down.
- 27:19I got this highlighted already for us, the United States of
- 27:25America economy has remained remarkably strong.
- 27:30Wrong, wrong. Wrong.
- 27:32Sure, if you believe the BOS, the Bureau of Lies and
- 27:35Statistics from Washington, DC, everything's great.
- 27:39You know, the Roman Empire was telling everybody everything was
- 27:42great. You know, they're always saying
- 27:43every. Remember, Remember Bernanke?
- 27:45Remember Ben Bernanke? Huh.
- 27:48Everything's great, right? Everything's wonderful.
- 27:50Oh, we just had a financial crisis.
- 27:53I mean, guys, they're always going to say everything's great.
- 27:55Boosted by strong labor market. Yeah, because it's a turned into
- 27:59a slave labor country where people have to work three and
- 28:02four jobs just to make ends meet.
- 28:04The country has continued to expand since the COVID-19
- 28:09pandemic, sidestepping earlier recessionary forecast even after
- 28:14a series of Federal Reserve interest interest rate
- 28:17increases. The the economy's doing so
- 28:21great. I want you to ask yourself this
- 28:23question. OK, Think back to 1971.
- 28:26And if you're younger than that, think back to 1980.
- 28:29Think back to 1990, but the but the the reality is, if the
- 28:34economy is doing so great, why now our families, a husband and
- 28:39wife both having to work and sometimes multiple jobs just to
- 28:44make ends meet when in 1970, right, one parent could work and
- 28:49a family could enjoy a very good lifestyle, but the economy is
- 28:53great. Everything's I mean, right
- 28:55there. Think, just think about that,
- 28:57right? Think back even five years ago,
- 29:01going to the grocery store, wouldn't you love to go back to
- 29:04the I would love to go back to ALDI and buy a bag of chips that
- 29:08now cost $2.00 for a dollar, right?
- 29:11Or a steak that used to cost $9 that now cost $18.00.
- 29:16OK, the. Yeah.
- 29:17But the economy is great. And yet consumer sentiment
- 29:20recently sank the six month lows.
- 29:23That disconnect is what Joyce Chang, JP Morgan's chair of
- 29:27global research, calls a vibe session.
- 29:30We got bad vibes, right? A vibe session.
- 29:33The economy's great, but there's bad vibes.
- 29:37Well, the bad vibes are called reality.
- 29:38Janice. Joyce Chang.
- 29:40Now there's something that's gonna light your Wick.
- 29:45Silver stacker, gold bug. Let's just work through this
- 29:50quickly. If you're a home owner or if you
- 29:53own financial assets, you've done very well, but you're
- 29:56leaving out huge segments of the population.
- 29:59OK. The wealth creation was
- 30:01concentrated amongst homeowners and upper income brackets.
- 30:05Yes, exactly. But you probably have about 1/3,
- 30:11I'd say more like 1/2 of the population that's been left out
- 30:15of that. That's why there's such a
- 30:17disconnect. I disagree with her.
- 30:19Yes, if you're rich, OK. This is what they call this is,
- 30:23this is critical and, and, and, and, and, and an absolute truth.
- 30:27OK #1 the part about the house is not true.
- 30:31Your house is not, does not. If your house goes up in value,
- 30:35I'm sorry guys, that does not make you richer.
- 30:37That makes you have higher house insurance, taxes, everything
- 30:41else. It's a house is not unless
- 30:44you're going to sell it and move into a trailer.
- 30:48It's not a financial asset. OK, Number two, yes, she's
- 30:57right. If you had all your money piled
- 30:58in the stock market, I mean, there's a lot of a lot of one of
- 31:02the one of the smartest guys I know says a lot of dumb people
- 31:06got rich over the last 20 years just by well, I just bought the
- 31:09S&P 500. Good for them, they got rich.
- 31:12That's wonderful. OK.
- 31:15But that's what you call the for, for, for inflation for you
- 31:19and me, right. And for people who are more
- 31:22middle income that don't have all their money in the stock
- 31:25market, it's called inflation. If you're rich and you have $10
- 31:30million portfolio in the stock market or a 5 million or 100
- 31:34million, they call that a bull market.
- 31:36That's what inflation is in the stock market.
- 31:38It's a bull market, OK. Many of these households have
- 31:42exhausted their savings and are now leaning on credit cards,
- 31:45recent report reports. We know this.
- 31:47The purple part's what's going to get you excited I, I, I
- 31:50strung you along too long. Credit card delinquencies are
- 31:54horrible, young adults are giving up, right, Student loan
- 31:58debts, blah blah blah. OK, this is where it's
- 32:01interesting. Every client we've been talking
- 32:04to over the last several months has brought up the concern of
- 32:08they're worried about inflation. Let's repeat that.
- 32:13They are worried about inflation, worried they can't
- 32:16spend money. That's regardless of whether the
- 32:19data is coming in good or bad. Let's go back.
- 32:22I'm gonna say one final time. They're worried about inflation.
- 32:28And when people start to worry about inflation, they're gonna
- 32:32start to look for ways to protect themselves from the deva
- 32:37Inflation is the devalue devaluation of the US dollar.
- 32:41It's your dollar losing value. People are going to start to
- 32:44look for ways to protect themselves against inflation.
- 32:49Are they doing that by these new stackers going to Costco and
- 32:53buying 10 oz silver bars and and one ounce gold Eagles?
- 32:58Guys, that right there is, is, is is probably the best little
- 33:04bit of news that we can ask for, right?
- 33:08Because we're already here. But what that means is we're
- 33:11going to have more people and more people joining us as silver
- 33:16and gold investors. It gets worse.
- 33:18You want some more, you want some more doom.
- 33:20Let's just let's this economy and I made this prediction that
- 33:24by the election we are going to have massive issues in the US
- 33:28economy, not just a not just a hard landing, but I'm talking
- 33:34about the potential for real serious financial issues coming
- 33:38through. Now there's this theory that the
- 33:41Chinese and the Russians want Joe Biden to be president again,
- 33:46right? Because they look at him as as
- 33:49being a little challenged. This is not a political show,
- 33:54but there's a, there's a, a number of very smart analysts
- 33:58that I've been following that are saying we act that the
- 34:01Chinese and the Russians are actually going to do things to
- 34:04help facilitate the current administration continuing on for
- 34:09the next four years because they think that would be a more
- 34:13conducive environment in which for them to operate.
- 34:16OK, so that's the that's the oddball.
- 34:19But I regardless believe that we are going to be in for some
- 34:24very, very difficult times. Who's the smartest guy in the
- 34:28room besides you? No, not me, OK?
- 34:32I'm just the conduit trying to provide this information to you,
- 34:35trying to provide opening my basement for you to join me
- 34:39here, down here. And it's a big deal when you
- 34:41come here, right? I can hear you imaginary walking
- 34:44down the steps right now. But who's the other smartest guy
- 34:47in the room? What's the biggest market?
- 34:50Think about this. What's the what's the oldest
- 34:52market in the world? The smartest in the oldest
- 34:56market in the world. Silver and gold.
- 34:59Silver was money before gold. They've been markets.
- 35:02What do markets do? Markets look into the future.
- 35:05Maybe that's why the price of gold and silver are going up.
- 35:08So those are the smartest markets.
- 35:11What's the biggest market in the world?
- 35:14Well, it's got to be the stock market, right?
- 35:16You'd think that, right, 'cause that's all the mainstream media
- 35:19talks about. You know, that's all they talk
- 35:21about. Hold on, Suzie's harkening me.
- 35:26Yes, dear. OK, we got 200 thumbs up.
- 35:33Let's we don't want her to fall. Let's ring the bell as a sign of
- 35:38thank you. 200 thumbs up. Thank you guys for the thumbs
- 35:44up. That's fun.
- 35:45The biggest market in the world is the bond market.
- 35:51Who is the bond king? Right?
- 35:53The smartest guy out there and he's willing to tell the truth.
- 35:58He always has been. I love him.
- 36:00Jeffrey Gunlach, what's Jeffrey Gunlach saying?
- 36:03Let's go check out what Jeffrey Gunlach saying again, This is
- 36:07the bond king. OK, up.
- 36:10I missed something there. We'll come back to that.
- 36:13All right, this comes from Yahoo Finance Double line CEO.
- 36:18That would be Jeffrey Gunlach expects imminent US recession,
- 36:23government debt surge. Recession means Federal Reserve
- 36:29print money. Means gold and silver get
- 36:32massive support. OK.
- 36:34Government debt surge means Federal Reserve print money.
- 36:39Print that the value of your dollar at the bank where it's
- 36:42always safe. Oh, I put my money in the bank
- 36:45because the banks have always the banks of that banks are
- 36:48safe. Well, they have been my whole
- 36:50life. That's called recency bias and
- 36:53just because something's been safe your whole life doesn't
- 36:56mean it's gonna be safe for your whole life.
- 36:59Wow, that was prophetic anyway. Government debt surge dollar go
- 37:04down in bail. You let's see what Jeffrey says.
- 37:07Jeffrey Gundlach, the chief executive investment management
- 37:10of the investment management economy double line capital
- 37:12expects in Orange AUS recession as soon as this year.
- 37:20He said that on Thursday. Sorry guys, I have a cough
- 37:22today. Hold on, I'll be right back.
- 37:27Don't leave me. As higher interest rates
- 37:35pressure US consumers and companies.
- 37:39Yes, higher interest rates, less money out there right now.
- 37:43Signals of brewing trouble in the US economy, such as rising
- 37:47credit card delinquencies and softer retail sales.
- 37:50Data suggests that nobody can afford to buy stuff at the
- 37:54dollar store anymore because the dollar store is now the dollar
- 37:5825 store. I digress, because that suggests
- 38:02the possibility of an economic contraction is more imminent
- 38:07than the risk of an inflationary rebound, Jeffrey said.
- 38:11There's a lot of recessionary signals out there, he said,
- 38:14speaking at a webinar hosted by David Rosenberg, founder and
- 38:18president of Rosenberg Research. Hey, called.
- 38:22It's like a guy that calls his YouTube channel after his first
- 38:25name of his basement after it. Anyway, there's more of a
- 38:29recessionary feel than an inflationary feel, he said,
- 38:34again, highlighted in green, often dubbed the bond king.
- 38:39The bond market is multiples bigger than the stock market,
- 38:44OK? He talks about staying away from
- 38:45all this debt. We're not really into that,
- 38:47'cause he's the bond king. OK, OK, now this is where it
- 38:51gets interesting. I'll just read the whole
- 38:54paragraph at the yellow parts where it's really super
- 38:56interesting. I've got this crazy idea that I
- 38:58want to buy only the lowest coupon treasuries because if you
- 39:02have a very low coupon treasury, I don't have to worry about
- 39:06being restructured. What he's talking about here,
- 39:09guys, is the Fed monetizing the debt, the Fed getting to a point
- 39:14where where the only way, the only way that the US government
- 39:19and our old friend Yellen can survive is if the Fed prints
- 39:23money and keeps interest rates low, which truly is a debt
- 39:27spiral, he says. I worry.
- 39:30He's worried. The bond King's worried that the
- 39:32federal government might be forced to restructure the
- 39:35Treasury debt. OK, monetize the debt.
- 39:39Japan tried it. It's not worked out too well for
- 39:42them. All right, we got one more fun,
- 39:46optimistic. Oh, let's look at this.
- 39:48What about the dollar? What about hold on, What about
- 39:51China? We haven't talked about the
- 39:53bricks in a while. The bricks are reshaping the
- 39:56world. The bricks are reshaping the
- 40:01gold and silver market. That's an absolute fact, OK,
- 40:04It's happening. The only people, the only
- 40:07reason, guys, I gotta, I don't wanna break your heart here, but
- 40:10the only reason the gold price and the silver price had done so
- 40:13well is because of China is because of India, OK?
- 40:18They are reshaping the precious metals market.
- 40:23They're reshaping. The monetary market, the BRICS,
- 40:26Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, right, Iran, Saudi
- 40:30Arabia, Ethiopia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
- 40:34There's ten of them now and who knows how many there's going to
- 40:37be a year from now, possibly like 18.
- 40:39And there's like another 68 countries that want to join the
- 40:43BRICS 'cause they're fed up with the United States.
- 40:46They want off the dollar. They're tired of being abused by
- 40:51the dollar system. OK, sorry.
- 40:53It's just the fact that we, the United States, abused its
- 40:57privilege of being the world reserve currency.
- 41:00Now. Oh, do we get another super
- 41:02chat? Let's go.
- 41:03We're gonna see a chart here that is mind numbing.
- 41:05Hello, Neil. Good to see you.
- 41:07Thank you for the Super chat. Neil says by silver, platinum
- 41:11and crystallized osmium, which is an interesting new precious
- 41:15metal that's out there. Thank you, Neil, for the Super
- 41:18chat. But what proof?
- 41:21What more proof do we need that we are de dollarizing than this?
- 41:25This is shocking. The start of de dollarization.
- 41:29China's gradual move away from the US dollar.
- 41:36OK. China's gradual move away from
- 41:38the dollar. This chart shows the share of
- 41:40China's trade settled in renminbi.
- 41:44I never understand. Is it called the renminbi?
- 41:46What's the difference between the Chinese yuan in the R.E.M.?
- 41:49NIMBY or is it the same thing? OK, anyway, the share of China's
- 41:53trade settled in their home currency has increased
- 41:57substantially over the last 15 years.
- 42:01Guys, when people move away from the dollar, they send those
- 42:04dollars back to the United States just at a time when the
- 42:08United States has more debt than any other time in history and
- 42:13needs the world to need the dollar.
- 42:16What is going on? Look at this chart.
- 42:18And China, remember some people are saying is the biggest
- 42:22economy in the world. Look at this.
- 42:25The yellow is the amount of China's cross-border payments
- 42:29and receipts that they're doing in their home currency.
- 42:33Do you see something here? Right?
- 42:35It went from .3% in 2010. What that, that's incredible.
- 42:41That's just 14 years ago all the way up to 53% now, right?
- 42:48They were doing 83%. Now they're doing 42% in U.S.
- 42:53dollars. This is D dollarization, right?
- 42:57This is, is, is, is the world moving away from the Petro
- 43:02dollar. This is dollars coming back to
- 43:04the United States just at a time when we need to be exporting our
- 43:10inflation. We're headed, we're headed for
- 43:12some very, very interesting points here.
- 43:17Hold on. I want to look at this.
- 43:19Where was it? What was it?
- 43:22Oh, this is the 50 year we looked at this already
- 43:25Interesting. And I'm going to make a video
- 43:27about this fifty year chart of silver.
- 43:31The green section is where we are now.
- 43:33OK cup. It's our daily cup and handle.
- 43:37This is good news for silver investors. 198050 dollars cup,
- 43:442011 $50 big cup handle wee it's flying away to you.
- 43:50It's going all the way up here to $300.00 silver.
- 43:54But do you see something else within the handle?
- 43:57Cup and handle? It's a cup and handle within a
- 44:02cup and handle. We also have a wedge pattern
- 44:04that it broke out of and we have an inverse.
- 44:08I think you can see it here and upside down head and shoulders.
- 44:12It's just absolutely crazy. OK, let's go to this one.
- 44:17Wrong one. Here we go.
- 44:18Never heard of this website before.
- 44:20I looked it up. I forget.
- 44:21It's something about the oh shoot, bear with me, something
- 44:26about the consumer TFTC, Where was it?
- 44:31It says what their name is anyway.
- 44:32Citigroup chief economist predicts U.S. economy also
- 44:36facing a hard landing Did you? In a recent interview on CNBS,
- 44:42Citigroup's chief economist Andrew Holland Horst expressed
- 44:46concern over the state of the US labor market and predicted a
- 44:50hard landing for the economy. Holland Horst.
- 44:54And there's something interesting at the bottom of
- 44:56this I have highlighted for you. Well, Holland Horst pointed to a
- 45:01gradual softening in the job market, such as hiring
- 45:04intentions among small businesses because, you know,
- 45:0744% of small businesses can't pay their rent, reaching their
- 45:11lowest level since 2016 and the overall hiring rate falling to
- 45:16its lowest since 2014, based on data from the National.
- 45:21Federer. OK, whatever.
- 45:23There was something else. During the interview, Holenhorst
- 45:26elaborated on his views, explaining that while certain
- 45:28labor market reports like the establishment survey payroll
- 45:32show strength, a closer look at small and medium firms reveals
- 45:36more worrying trends. He believes that the decrease in
- 45:40working hours and the slowing hiring rates could snowball into
- 45:47a more severe economic downturn. So everywhere we got the, we got
- 45:54the bond king telling us we got trouble in, in the economy, in
- 45:59the market. OK, we, we've got a Citibank
- 46:02telling us we have trouble in the economy in the market.
- 46:06They're trying to tell us that we've got a vibe session, really
- 46:09a vibe. Remember, that's all good, good,
- 46:12good, good vibrations. Well, we got bad vibrations in
- 46:16the United States, right? Because a big chunk of the
- 46:21country can't afford to live and they've exhausted their credit
- 46:26cards. They've exhausted their savings.
- 46:29Do you know what they're doing now?
- 46:30Are you doing this? Have you gotten so desperate, I
- 46:33hope you haven't, that you're now taking money out of your
- 46:36401K, turning your 4I used to hate when people say this, but
- 46:40I'll say turning your 401K into a 301K, right?
- 46:45Just so you can pay your electric bill, right?
- 46:48You're not retired yet. That was supposed to be
- 46:50retirement money that was supposed to provide this
- 46:52wonderful future for you and your family.
- 46:55But now, right, Right. What happened?
- 46:57What happened to this country? You know, I'll tell you what
- 47:00happened. You know what?
- 47:01The leaders pillaged your country, right?
- 47:06And there's only really really one thing at this point, my
- 47:11opinion, not giving financial advice that can save us and
- 47:15that's silver and gold. OK, all this make believe paper
- 47:19that I talked with David Hunter yesterday.
- 47:21You know who David Hunter is? He's a a very bold, courageous,
- 47:26smart man who's worked on Wall Street.
- 47:29Then he's been in the business for 50 years.
- 47:33OK, I've got a video, a long video interview coming out with
- 47:37David Hunter, right? Very great guy, very smart, very
- 47:40nice guy, good hearted man. He does not see good things for
- 47:44the future in this country. We, we, he's predicting we're
- 47:48going to have a big party this summer.
- 47:50It's going to be party time. He's, you know, I mean, we're
- 47:52talking, you're going to love. I mean, he's talking about
- 47:55silver and gold prices absolutely potentially
- 47:59skyrocketing soon, OK. But shortly thereafter, a bust.
- 48:06Like I'm saying, it fits with my prediction that by the by the
- 48:09election, we, we could have a big bust.
- 48:11And then going out for a decade, going out to 2030, very
- 48:17difficult times for this country.
- 48:20Very, very difficult. But but silver and gold prices
- 48:24that you aren't gonna believe, OK, like $20,000 gold, silver,
- 48:29like you aren't gonna believe. But what happened?
- 48:31What went wrong, right? Your leaders pillaged your
- 48:34country. It's as simple as that.
- 48:37I mean, you know, and it's been going on for decades.
- 48:39I'm not. I'm not, I'm not.
- 48:41I'm an independent, so this is not a political statement.
- 48:46It's been going on for decades in this country.
- 48:49It really started around 1971, didn't it, when Nixon
- 48:52temporarily took us off the gold standard.
- 48:55Is there any hope? Do you believe there's hope?
- 48:57I believe there is hope. I believe that the Founding
- 49:01Fathers, remember in high school they forced you to take that
- 49:05Constitution class. It's like the, it's like the,
- 49:09the, the Bible of the country, right?
- 49:12It's like whatever they call it, you know, the, the foundation of
- 49:14the country. Guess what?
- 49:16Those guys went through hell to write that document.
- 49:20Like had their houses burned down, their, some of their
- 49:23families were killed. You should hear about what they
- 49:25went through. But they put one thing in there
- 49:28for you and me, right? They put language into the US
- 49:32Constitution about silver and gold.
- 49:34So when people, you know, you and I in this country, we're
- 49:39the, we're the lone wolves, right?
- 49:41We're the leader of the pack, right?
- 49:44But when you, you know, when, when you get Flack from people
- 49:49or whatever about the fact that you, you're an enthusiast about
- 49:52silver and gold that you kind of see and know what's going on.
- 49:56Remember that. Remember, you see and know
- 49:59what's going on. You're investing in silver and
- 50:02gold, which are the smartest and oldest markets in the world.
- 50:04But you're also doing something that the founding fathers of
- 50:09this country, right, were proponents of.
- 50:12You're making moves to be your own central bank, enabling
- 50:16yourself to use silver and gold as real money.
- 50:19Thanks for being here, guys. Happy Memorial Day weekend.
