- 0:00I'm so grateful to the Lord that I could be with
- 0:03you this morning. This morning when I got up
- 0:07and I was praying, one of the songs that went
- 0:14through my heart, yes, Jesus loves me. I know
- 0:19it's a kid's song. I know children sing it at
- 0:22Sunday school. But I thought of the cost that
- 0:26he paid because he loved me. Sometimes we just
- 0:30sing it for the sake of singing. And we forget
- 0:34how much cost he had to pay. I pray that you
- 0:40will never forget the cost that Jesus paid for
- 0:44us. Even if you have kids and you sing with them,
- 0:49yes, Jesus loves me. Just think, a filthy sinner
- 0:54like me was saved by his grace. Because he was
- 0:59willing to pay the cost for me. I didn't deserve
- 1:04it, but he was kind. How many people tell the
- 1:10Lord, I love you, Lord? That should be coming
- 1:14all the time from the bottom of our heart. God,
- 1:16I love you. You are everything to me. I'm willing
- 1:22to give up everything. Pastors, thank you for
- 1:26having us. It's always a joy to be here with
- 1:31you. There are some people you can say are friends.
- 1:39I have learned in 28 years of my ministry life,
- 1:43you have very limited friends. You have friends,
- 1:50but you don't have covenant friends. And thank
- 1:55you. Thank you to this church for being part
- 1:59of our lives. I'm your own missionary. I know
- 2:03you got other missionaries. You can forget them
- 2:07all, but do remember me in your prayers. I need
- 2:11your prayers. But I want to say thank you. Thank
- 2:16you. Came to know Dennis and Linda 24 years ago
- 2:20in Poland, and they connected us here. And it's
- 2:25a blessing. So thank you for the friendship.
- 2:28Thank you for the love. This morning before I
- 2:32preach, can we just sing that song, Yes, Jesus
- 2:35Loves Me? I know, I just feel like a kid. I just
- 2:39feel like a kid. Jesus said, you know, be like
- 2:42a child. Be like a child. Some of my favorite
- 2:47songs have started to change. One of the songs
- 2:53I sing wherever I go around the world. God is
- 2:56so good. I have seen the goodness of God. When
- 3:02you have been in the prison. When you have been
- 3:04shot. When you are away from your family. You
- 3:09still taste the goodness of God. So I just want
- 3:12you to stand up on your feet. Knowing that he
- 3:16loves you. You are precious to him. I just want
- 3:20you to worship the Lord. And tell him I love
- 3:24you. And let the worship come from within. How
- 3:27many of you know the Bible says living sacrifice?
- 3:30Yeah. Living sacrifice. There's a difference.
- 3:36You can worship from your mouth or you can worship
- 3:39from your heart. A living sacrifice is what comes
- 3:42out of your heart. So let this morning, let it
- 3:45be a worship unto the Lord. It was amazing. Pastor,
- 3:48this is what I want to say. As you were worshiping,
- 3:51I was sitting over there and the Lord started
- 3:53to say to me, there's been a shift in this ministry.
- 3:57There has been changes. But the Lord says your
- 4:00season is shifting for something different. It's
- 4:05like stepping up. And the Lord would say to you
- 4:09very clearly, son, I raised you for this time,
- 4:12for such a time as this, to do great and mighty
- 4:15things. You both are called and appointed of
- 4:18the Lord. And you're raising up a generation.
- 4:21The Lord says you're not only looking for older
- 4:24folks. The Lord says you're even looking for
- 4:26the next generation. And you will impart into
- 4:30them the spirit that has been laid upon you.
- 4:33And the Lord says he will use you mightily in
- 4:37the coming days. Both of you will be a vessel
- 4:40of honor, the Lord says. The devil will try to
- 4:44disturb, but the Lord says, no, my covering shall
- 4:48be. Upon you. And I will carry you forward. The
- 4:52presence of the Lord will fill this place. Many
- 4:55times. You will know. Tangible presence will
- 4:59be here. And the Lord would say to you. And I
- 5:02will start to do mighty things. A season has
- 5:05shifted. And the Lord would say. It's a season
- 5:08of seeing signs and wonders. In this house. The
- 5:12Lord would say. Your signs and wonders will not
- 5:15be just limited in this house. It will go out.
- 5:18Touch and change lives. Father, we give our life
- 5:24into your hands. Do your work in this place.
- 5:28Let your glory be revealed. In Jesus' name. Yes,
- 5:33Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible
- 5:53tells me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, I love you,
- 6:03Lord. I love you. Yes, Jesus loves me. Oh, yes,
- 6:12he loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Lord, thank
- 6:31you for loving us. Thank you for choosing us.
- 6:36Thank you for appointing us. And I thank you,
- 6:40Lord, for all the good things you have done in
- 6:42our life. Lord, people have walked away, but
- 6:47you promised you will never leave us nor forsake
- 6:50us. We thank you for that great love. I bless
- 6:53your saints. Speak to us today. Lord, I pray
- 6:56our time will not be wasted in your presence.
- 6:59May your glory be revealed. In Jesus' name I
- 7:02pray. Amen. Amen. You may be seated. Thank you
- 7:07once again. Thank you. I really appreciate what
- 7:13you're doing for the Lord. I believe it's a new
- 7:16season. I had prepared a message and I had come.
- 7:23The problem with God is he messes it up. Yeah.
- 7:30I thought I had everything in order. And when
- 7:34I got up this morning at 4 .30 to pray and seek
- 7:37the Lord, God started to say to me something.
- 7:41And when the songs were being sung, I do not
- 7:45know most of the songs. I'm still, I'm not that
- 7:51old. But I still like the old songs. I like the
- 7:59hymns. There's something in me. You know, when
- 8:04you sing that song, old rugged cross. When you
- 8:08sing, then sings my soul. You're commanding your
- 8:10soul. I know your soul doesn't want to sing.
- 8:13How many of you had that this morning? You didn't
- 8:15want to come to church. Some of you have been
- 8:19watching soccer. Actually, it's not soccer. It's
- 8:21called football. Let me just correct you over
- 8:27there because something you play with foot is
- 8:29called football. I love you and I know you guys
- 8:35love me so you won't beat me up. It's a joy to
- 8:38be here. Open your Bible to the book of Exodus.
- 8:42We are celebrating 250 years of freedom. We cannot
- 8:50take it lightly. I was just sitting over there
- 8:53and I thought there must be something about this
- 8:55250. A year of Jubilee is after how many years?
- 9:0350 years. Multiplied by five times. 250. Five
- 9:12is the number of grace. So God would say to you,
- 9:18This year onwards is a year of seeing his grace
- 9:22with power in your life. To walk in freedom and
- 9:27liberty. Those who are bound are called to be
- 9:31set free. We are going to see God's glory in
- 9:38this nation. As I have been praying for this
- 9:40nation. The Lord has put burden in our heart.
- 9:44Me and my family. I know my family is watching.
- 9:46I love you guys. I still have the same wife.
- 9:50We've been married for 23 years. You know, I
- 9:57just love her. She's a blessing. She's a backbone
- 10:00for my ministry, for my life. She stood with
- 10:05me. My kids paid the cost. There were days when
- 10:13kids have cried. Daddy will be back. But God
- 10:19is good. So what I'm going to speak today to
- 10:23you is related to your independence. Your freedom.
- 10:30In Exodus 3 onwards, if you study very carefully,
- 10:34I started to wear glasses from two days ago.
- 10:41And all the people who complain or make fun of
- 10:46us, the people who wear glasses, You got to realize
- 10:48one thing. We pay more money to see you clearly.
- 10:51So don't do that. Chapter 3, verse 1 onwards.
- 10:56Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro, his
- 10:59father -in -law, the priest of the Midian. And
- 11:02he led the flock to a far aside of the wilderness
- 11:06and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There
- 11:09the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flame
- 11:12of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that through
- 11:16the bush. There was a fire and it did not burn
- 11:19up. So Moses thought, I will go over and see
- 11:23the strange sight. Why the bush does not burn.
- 11:28When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look,
- 11:31God called to him from within the bush, Moses,
- 11:34Moses. And Moses said, here I am. Verse five,
- 11:38do not come any closer. God said, take off your
- 11:41sandals for the place where you are standing
- 11:43is holy ground. Verse six. Then he said, I am
- 11:48the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the
- 11:52God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. At this,
- 11:55Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look
- 12:00at God. Now we know the story of Moses. He was
- 12:09called to take the people of God into freedom.
- 12:14If you ask me to, Put a title for this sermon.
- 12:21Let me put it like this. God has a plan and a
- 12:26purpose for your life. And if you put him first,
- 12:32your priorities are right. You will see the fulfillment
- 12:39of his kingdom being established. Where you will
- 12:44bring people into freedom to worship the Lord
- 12:47in freedom. That was a statement Moses made to
- 12:51Pharaoh. Let my people go for worship. We are
- 13:01called to see freedom in the life of others who
- 13:06do not know Jesus as their Savior. If you study
- 13:12the life of Moses carefully, I do not know how
- 13:16many of you know what was Moses' life. Like,
- 13:20in Exodus chapter 2, it says he was born in a
- 13:23Levite family. So he's from a priestly line.
- 13:29His parents had to hide him for some time, keep
- 13:34him aside, because they knew there was something
- 13:38different. Turn to your neighbor and say, there's
- 13:40something different about you. Yeah. God uses
- 13:47some crazy people. I know that from my own life.
- 13:55You're different because God wants to use you
- 13:58differently. Otherwise, he would have made us
- 14:01all look alike. Just look around carefully. You
- 14:06don't look like a photocopy. Of the person near
- 14:09you. Even if you have been married. Or you got
- 14:13kids. There may be some resemblance. Somebody
- 14:16came and said to me. Oh your son looks like you.
- 14:19I said thank God. Uh huh. Then they said. Oh
- 14:27he has the other side. He looks like your wife.
- 14:30I said thank God for that too. We know now for
- 14:35sure. So that's why the book of 2 Chronicles
- 14:39chapter 7 verse 14 says, If my people who are
- 14:42called by my name will humble themselves, seek
- 14:44my face, turn from the wicked ways. Let me explain
- 14:47that in a better way. I thought, God, we got
- 14:49to seek your face and then turn from the wicked
- 14:51ways. I thought we have to turn from the wicked
- 14:52ways and seek your face. But God never writes
- 14:56anything wrong. If my people who are called by
- 15:00my name, my father's name is Virgis. That's why
- 15:03I carry that name, Virgis. The family name. Because
- 15:10I'm born in that family. If you are part of the
- 15:13family of God, you will carry his name. And the
- 15:21Bible says, humble yourself, seek my face, turn
- 15:26from the wicked ways. That means, when you start,
- 15:31let me explain in my way. I'm married, like I
- 15:35said, 23 years. I come home, my wife looks at
- 15:38me and says, what do you want, coffee or tea?
- 15:43I've been married 23 years. And you still haven't
- 15:47got it, whether I like coffee or tea. Hang on.
- 15:53So if you seek his face, you will know what he
- 15:58likes and what he doesn't like. That's why he
- 16:01says, if you seek my face, you will turn from
- 16:03the wicked ways because you will know what he
- 16:06likes and what he doesn't like. In our mind,
- 16:12we think we need to become holy and then, no,
- 16:15no, no, no. He's saying, just come to me, love
- 16:17me. And as you love me more and more, you will
- 16:24start to see what I like and what I don't like.
- 16:28And you will avoid. So Moses is born in this
- 16:31house. And I don't know how many of you understand
- 16:36his life was not an easy life. As he's growing,
- 16:41he can't be kept quiet. How many of you know
- 16:44kids? They're difficult. I have realized one
- 16:50thing in my life. If there are kids who are two
- 16:55years old, the best gift... I don't want anybody
- 16:58doing, thank God my kids have grown up now. But
- 17:01if I find anybody having a kid and has a two
- 17:03-year -old kid, I'll make sure I'll buy them
- 17:06drums. Oh, hallelujah. I would love to see. I
- 17:14told my kids, if you don't behave, then your
- 17:17kids are born. And they come to visit me. I will
- 17:23feed them chocolate. I will give them sugar right
- 17:28before they come back to your house. That is
- 17:31my way of revenge. Moses could not be kept quiet,
- 17:38so the mother made a basket. And she put it in
- 17:44the Nile River. I looked at that word basket
- 17:47because it fascinated me. Because I thought,
- 17:50you're putting a basket with a baby in Nile River
- 17:53that's full of crocodiles. So how can a baby
- 17:58survive in that river? So I thought there must
- 18:03be something to that basket. And when I looked
- 18:08at that word basket, the Hebrew word is tebah.
- 18:12T -E -B -A -H. That means ark. The ark of protection.
- 18:23She just didn't put him in a basket. She put
- 18:25him in a... ark. And I want you to get one thing.
- 18:29Once you get into the ark of God, you will be
- 18:32protected. See, the devil has a lot of plans
- 18:35about this nation. The devil may have a lot of
- 18:38plans about your life, but when you are covered
- 18:40by the blood of the Lamb, let me say, America
- 18:43does not belong to the devil. We have come to
- 18:47declare openly that we are going to see a revival.
- 18:50We are going to see the move of God because we
- 18:53are covered by the blood of the Lamb. The devil
- 19:01is going to have a nightmare. Because America
- 19:04is going to see the glory of God. It may be a
- 19:09Nile River. It may have crocodiles. But we got
- 19:13God on our side. We got God covering us. So we
- 19:18don't have to worry. The terrorists can plot
- 19:22whatever they want. I'll tell you right now.
- 19:24God will spoil all their plans in Jesus name.
- 19:30This nation belongs to God. It was started with
- 19:36a statement, in God we trust. And we as believers
- 19:42who have been washed by the blood of the Lamb
- 19:45still believe in God. And we are going to see
- 19:50God's glory. So he's floating in Nile River,
- 19:53in Theba. As he's floating, his sister, how many
- 19:57of you have heard about his sister? She had a
- 20:00job, a simple job to watch. Let me challenge
- 20:06you as brothers and sisters in the Lord. Watch
- 20:10for your brothers and sisters that they will
- 20:15not fall. Now, I know some of us want to know
- 20:21what is going on in people's life. Because We
- 20:28think we are hired by the CNN. So we need to
- 20:34know so we can share it with others. No. Your
- 20:40job or your calling is to watch over your brothers
- 20:45and sisters that they will not fall. There are
- 20:48crocodiles. There are demonic forces that will
- 20:53come against them. There may be a believer or
- 20:56a brother or sister in the Lord who has a weakness
- 20:58in their life. Let me give you a free advice.
- 21:04Knowing the weakness of your life is the strength
- 21:07of your life. Can I say that again? And this
- 21:11time I promise I won't take an offering. Knowing
- 21:14the weakness of your life is the strength of
- 21:17your life. And if you know your weakness, find
- 21:21a man of God. Or go to your man of God and say,
- 21:25I struggle in that area and I promise they will
- 21:28help you because accountability will help you
- 21:32rise above that weakness. So he's floating, the
- 21:37sister is watching. So let's watch out for our
- 21:39brothers. Let me ask you, do you know each other?
- 21:45In this house, do we know? How are you doing?
- 21:51Put your arms around them. Are you okay? Yeah,
- 21:56I'm okay. No, no, no, no. Are you really okay?
- 22:02Maybe you can take them for a coffee. We have
- 22:05a shop. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can just, I'm not
- 22:09advertising, okay? Just to let you know. But
- 22:12just sit down. How much do we care? That's what
- 22:18people want to know. Do you really care? And
- 22:22I'll say like this, in this community, we are
- 22:24going to see God's glory in a greater measure.
- 22:27Because this church cares. Thank you for your
- 22:32amen. I did not know you were so excited about
- 22:34it. And I'll tell you the truth because I know
- 22:38where your church is going. I can see in the
- 22:42spirit realm. That's why I'm saying that. We
- 22:46are going to see God's glory in a greater measure.
- 22:50And the baby is floating. And the Pharaoh's daughter
- 22:53picks up. Bought out of the water. Moses. His
- 22:59name Moses bought out of the water. In a way
- 23:01symbolizing baptism too. Bought out. See, that's
- 23:06why we don't leave you underwater. Matthew 3
- 23:14says, and Jesus came up from the water. There
- 23:18was a pastor. In India, when we baptize, at the
- 23:23end, when we finish baptism, we ask openly and
- 23:26loudly, is there anybody else to be baptized?
- 23:28The pastor is here, the water is here. And if
- 23:31you're ready to be baptized, just walk in. So
- 23:34there was a pastor who did that. And he saw a
- 23:37drunk man sitting on the other end. And he started
- 23:40to shout loudly, is there anybody else? The drunk
- 23:43man kept on looking at him. He's looking at the...
- 23:47The pastor is looking at the drunk man and he's
- 23:49calling again. The third time the drunk man thought,
- 23:51okay, let me go. And he just goes in. The pastor
- 23:55says, I baptize you in the name. He didn't even
- 23:58ask him whether he was saved or not. Dipped him.
- 24:02Pulled him out and he says, did you find Jesus?
- 24:05He said, no. He dipped him again. Extra 30 seconds
- 24:11underwater. And he pulled him up and he says,
- 24:15did you find him? He said, no. He thought, let
- 24:21me dip him again. Last time was 30 seconds. We're
- 24:26going to make it a minute. He pulls him up and
- 24:29he says, did you find Jesus? Now the drunk man
- 24:34is confused. Already he's drunk and he's been
- 24:37going underwater. When he comes out, he's shaking
- 24:40his head and he says to the pastor. Because the
- 24:42pastor asked, did you find Jesus? He said, are
- 24:44you sure he was lost here? That's why we want
- 24:49you to be saved before we baptize you. He was
- 24:53pulled out of the water. And the mother is brought
- 24:58back into the scene to take care. But then after
- 25:01some time, he's back in the palace. He's growing
- 25:05in the palace. Now you have to think of his.
- 25:08Because I know many people will say, you know,
- 25:10pastor, I've gone through so much. I'm not trying
- 25:14to downplay you. But I want you to think of his
- 25:17life. Put in front of crocodiles. Abandoned in
- 25:23a way. Picked up by somebody else. Adopted by
- 25:28somebody else. When he was at home, Aaron and
- 25:34Miriam. See, Miriam had a bit of a problem. Because
- 25:38you can see with his wife, he had a bit of an
- 25:42issue. They must have said, who does he think
- 25:47he is? Yeah, royal treatment he gets. Some of
- 25:54you may have gone through things in your life,
- 25:56but I want you to understand your purpose is
- 25:59greater. So don't sit in your pain. This nation,
- 26:09this church has a purpose. We may have gone through
- 26:15things in our life, but don't let it stop us
- 26:18from fulfilling the call of God. Because it's
- 26:23a holy call from heaven above. And he's being
- 26:31raised, and one day he kills an Egyptian. Next
- 26:34day he's trying to sort out between two Hebrew
- 26:37brothers and then he has to run because the Pharaoh
- 26:40is going to kill him now. He runs off. Think
- 26:43of it. One day in the palace, now in the wilderness.
- 26:46Hang on. I was abandoned by my mother first.
- 26:50Now I'm running from where I was being raised.
- 26:53I'm losing everything in my life. He in the wilderness
- 27:01is hungry. Thirsty. And he helps a family. The
- 27:08family takes him in. He marries the daughter,
- 27:11Zephora. Watch carefully. The secret of greatness
- 27:17in your life is in gratefulness. I hope you will
- 27:26remember that. The secret of greatness in your
- 27:31life Is gratefulness. It's easy to complain.
- 27:39That's why we say don't live in the complaining
- 27:41street. Live in the thanksgiving street. Some
- 27:45of us complain because there was no meat. It
- 27:48was only broccoli. As kids we always said one
- 27:55thing. God doesn't like vegetables. I hope there
- 27:57are no kids here. Because he refused to take
- 28:02Cain's offering. He doesn't like vegetables,
- 28:06we used to say to our dad. We can complain about
- 28:12everything. I have seen it. We have all that.
- 28:18It's time to get out. Now he's watching chapter
- 28:233 verse 1. Now I want to get into my message
- 28:25to understand. to make you understand the power
- 28:28of the call on your life. Because God's plan
- 28:31and purpose is greater so that you can see the
- 28:33manifestation of his glory. So knowing the background,
- 28:37chapter 3 verse 1, it says, Now Moses was tending
- 28:42the flock of Jethro. Now, I started to think
- 28:47of this. He was taking care of not his own sheep,
- 28:53but his father -in -law's sheep. This church
- 28:58is not your pastor's church or the leader's church.
- 29:03This is God's house. We are only called to take
- 29:09care of it. This nation, let me ask you. Many
- 29:17of us, our parents came from different parts
- 29:20of the world. Europe. Settle down here. We are
- 29:26just called to be stewards. The freedom that
- 29:31has been given to us 250 years ago, if we don't
- 29:35take care of it, we will lose our freedom. If
- 29:39we don't take care of this house, we will lose
- 29:42the house. And I'll say like this, we are not
- 29:45going to shut down any more churches in the name
- 29:47of Jesus. And Moses is taking care of Jethro's
- 29:54sheep, even though it is not his sheep. And I
- 29:57found it very fascinating that he's very attentive.
- 30:03He's not like, putting his hand through his nose
- 30:06and checking out what is there. He was very careful.
- 30:12He knew wild animals are around. This is why
- 30:16I said to you, what has been given in your hands,
- 30:18you got to be a good steward. He's picked up
- 30:22a rod and he's sitting over there and watching
- 30:27and taking care of sheep. And I thought for this
- 30:32for a long time. As he's attentive, he sees a
- 30:38fire. Hang on. If you are a good steward, I hope
- 30:44you can remember this. If you are a good steward,
- 30:48of the things that God has given in your life,
- 30:51you will see God's glory in a greater measure.
- 30:56Sometimes it can be tiring. I'm just taking care
- 30:58of the sheep. No. Because I start to understand
- 31:06when I looked at the 250, I don't know, how many
- 31:08of you have looked at that word 250 in your Bible?
- 31:13Because Korah turned up one day with 250 people
- 31:16in Numbers chapter 16, verse 2. He turned up
- 31:19with 250 people. But in verse 30, at the end
- 31:25it says 32, 33, it says 250 got dealt, God dealt
- 31:32with them. They were gone. If you're not a good
- 31:35steward of what God has given, you'll be taken
- 31:40off. How old is this church, Pastor? 1932, before
- 31:51I was born. Now my question is, it has been passed
- 31:59down. How are we going to finish the race? Are
- 32:05we going to drop the baton? Are we going to become
- 32:08rebels? I have a sermon called, Nine Spirits
- 32:11That Destroy a Church. One of them is Korah.
- 32:18One of them is Miriam. They'll challenge leaderships.
- 32:22One of them is Absalom. The sons will rise up
- 32:25against the fathers. Then you have a spirit of
- 32:32Ahab. Then you have a spirit of Jezebel. You
- 32:35know what is the difference? Ahab will never
- 32:38stand up. Jezebel will never sit down. Ahab will
- 32:44never speak up. Jezebel will never shut up. They
- 32:49are spirits. And we need to know. That's why
- 32:52we are called to watch over. See most of you
- 32:57when you pray. You pray with both your eyes closed.
- 32:59I don't pray with both my eyes closed. I keep
- 33:01one eye open. Because the Bible says watch and
- 33:04pray. That's why if any man comes near my wife.
- 33:11Watch and pray. You need to watch out because
- 33:16this has been given in your hands. This is precious
- 33:20because this is a house of God. This nation was
- 33:24given in your hands. You got to watch out for
- 33:27it and take care and be a good steward. And he's
- 33:31walking up. Now, I don't know how many of you
- 33:34have thought of the walk that he had to walk.
- 33:39It was not, he saw there, ah, all plain. No,
- 33:42no, no, no, no, no. He had to climb mountains.
- 33:45He had to climb. And when he's climbing, think
- 33:50how difficult. How many of you have climbed mountains?
- 33:53Your pastor loves all this outdoor stuff. God
- 33:58bless him. My wife tells me, if you need to go
- 34:04for a walk, you can. But because I love her,
- 34:11I go for a walk once in a while. You know, it's
- 34:16not easy climbing a mountain. Because when you
- 34:19start to climb a mountain, think of Abraham,
- 34:21an old man climbing with his son, Isaac. We who
- 34:27are young, I'm only 50 now. But we'll still...
- 34:31We're breathing hard. Let's go for a run, one
- 34:38mile. I learned because of... all the beatings
- 34:45I got. My physiotherapist has told me one thing.
- 34:48Blessing, your mind is so powerful. Even if you
- 34:52can imagine that you're exercising, your body
- 34:55starts to think it's exercising. I thought, wow.
- 35:00Now I know what to do. So every time your pastor
- 35:07goes out, I see the Facebook picture. I imagine
- 35:11myself too. And my exercise is done. Now, here's
- 35:20the thing. He's climbing up with a stick and
- 35:23a rod in his hand. He comes in front of the fire.
- 35:27Now, it says, I like that verse. It says, verse
- 35:313. So Moses thought, I will go over and see.
- 35:36It's a strange fire. It's a strange fire, but
- 35:41he has a desire. Let me say, the things of God
- 35:43will be strange. But do you have a desire to
- 35:48go deep and see what is going on? Deep only calls
- 35:52to the deep. Somebody asked me, pastor, your
- 35:57prophetic gifts, you know, are you happy? No,
- 35:59no, no, no, there's more. There's more. We are
- 36:04happy with what we have. No, no, no, you can't
- 36:06be. You need to desire, God, there's more. You
- 36:10need to push yourself. What is push? P -U -S
- 36:15-H. Pray until something happens. You need to
- 36:19start pushing and say, God, I need to push into
- 36:21the things of God. I need to know you. Like Paul
- 36:24says, that I may know him. Paul never walked
- 36:27with Jesus. Peter did. John did. But Paul says
- 36:32that I may know him. He's spending three years
- 36:34in Arabia. Galatians says he spent three years
- 36:37in Arabia that he may know him. That's why he
- 36:42was able to write two -third of the New Testament.
- 36:45Your relationship will create revelations in
- 36:52your life. Let me say in another word. Your sacrifice
- 36:56will create revelation. Many people are not ready
- 37:01to give up. Many people ask me, Pastor, do you
- 37:05fast? Because they usually look at my stomach.
- 37:07But I let them know I do fast. And every time
- 37:10I fast, one thing I have realized, I see the
- 37:13same vision every time I fast. 28 years of my
- 37:17ministry, I've seen the same vision the first
- 37:19three days whenever I fast. It's a big chicken
- 37:22flying saying, eat me. But you say no to it.
- 37:30So let me give you a definition of sacrifice.
- 37:32Write it down. I promise it'll help you. Sacrifice
- 37:35is something that pains your body when separated
- 37:38from your body. This is my own definition. I
- 37:43have a copyright over it. And the word copyright
- 37:46for an Indian or a Chinese means the right to
- 37:49copy. Okay? So you can copy it. Sacrifice is
- 37:53something that pains your body when separated
- 37:55from your body. So he's willing to sacrifice.
- 37:59Willing to let go of the sheep to go and see
- 38:02the fire. Hang on. He was attentive, but now
- 38:04he's willing because there's something strange.
- 38:06That's weird. Are you willing to give up your
- 38:09food? Wednesday night prayers. Uh -oh. Pastor
- 38:16should have made the announcement after I had
- 38:18preached. But pastor just said it. You know,
- 38:227 .30, 8 .30 is my sleeping time. Really? If
- 38:27there's something important going on. For parties.
- 38:35We'll keep a match sticking between our eyelids.
- 38:39To stay awake. I was driving. A few years ago
- 38:45I was driving from Lincoln. To Chicago. And I
- 38:49started to get tired. As I was coming closer.
- 38:53And I was like. God give me the strength. And
- 38:57my daughter is sitting next to me. She's sleeping.
- 38:59She's feeling the anointing. That's why the eyelids
- 39:03went down. And so she's, and I'm like, what do
- 39:06I do? What do I do? And I stopped for a coffee.
- 39:11And I can't drink coffee and stay awake because
- 39:15if I drink coffee, I'll go to sleep. Because
- 39:19when I was young, I drank so much of coffee,
- 39:22the effect is gone. I used to drink close to
- 39:2614 cups a day. So I went and got a coffee from
- 39:33the gas station and my daughter wakes up and
- 39:36she said, Dad, are you okay? I said, yeah. I
- 39:37said, I'm feeling sleepy. So she said, you're
- 39:39going to drink coffee? I said, no. Then she was
- 39:43like, what are you going to do? And I put my
- 39:46finger into the hot coffee. I was awake the whole
- 39:48journey because it was burning. How much are
- 39:55you willing to give up to see God's glory? Are
- 40:03you willing to give up one time meal? Let me
- 40:06challenge this church because I still remember
- 40:08when I came the first time, I was sitting over
- 40:10there and the Lord reminded me the first time
- 40:12when I came into this house, the Lord told me
- 40:14very clearly, this house shall be called a house
- 40:16of prayer. That was the word I gave to this house.
- 40:20So I'm going to challenge you. If you, it may
- 40:25not be Wednesday, it may be Monday, but can you
- 40:27take 30 minutes, 15 minutes just to pray that
- 40:33God's glory will be revealed? And it says like
- 40:35this, he came up and then verse four, when the
- 40:41Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called
- 40:43him from within the bush. What did God call him?
- 40:49Come on. What does it say in your Bible? He called
- 40:53him Moses, Moses. Does it say that in your Bible?
- 40:58Okay, just checking. Why does God call him twice?
- 41:05God calls Abraham, Abraham, Abraham. Jesus is
- 41:11verily, verily. Why does God say twice? Go to
- 41:17Psalm 62, 11. Psalm 62, 11. He has spoken once,
- 41:24but I heard it twice. Let's see. Does it say
- 41:30that in your Bible? Psalm 62, 11. Verse 11. He
- 41:37has spoken once, I heard it twice. What God speaks
- 41:43in heaven. It's not only heard in the heavenly
- 41:48realms, it's even on the earthly realms because
- 41:51there's an echo of the sound from heaven. That's
- 41:54why you hear it twice. Oh, you won't get this
- 41:58in a Bible school, I promise you, or on your
- 42:00bookstore. Are we hearing the voice of God? Hmm.
- 42:11Romans 8, 16. It says, my spirit shall bear witness
- 42:16with your spirit. How sensitive are we to hear
- 42:21the voice of God? He's standing over there and
- 42:25God is calling him. See, God is calling us in
- 42:28this time, in this season. Faith Church, let
- 42:34me declare boldly that God is calling your church
- 42:39in this land. There's going to be a move of the
- 42:46Holy Spirit. There's going to be a shift in this
- 42:50church for something great and mighty. So the
- 42:54Holy Spirit would say, be attentive to my voice.
- 42:58Listen to what I'm speaking to you. Don't miss
- 43:01the call that I have for your life because I'm
- 43:05going to spread you. The Lord says to this house,
- 43:08I'm going to spread you to the east, west, north.
- 43:12and south. You are going to become an example
- 43:15for many. Many young people will come and get
- 43:17trained in this place to see the glory of God.
- 43:21So the Lord would say, prepare yourself for what
- 43:23I'm about to do through this house. He's standing
- 43:28in the presence of the fire and God calls him.
- 43:32And the next verse says, verse 5, do not come
- 43:37any closer. Take off your sandal. I had to ask
- 43:42the Lord, why are you saying take off the sandal?
- 43:45He came looking for you. He desires for you.
- 43:51You called him by name, but now you're telling
- 43:54him take off your sandal. Because the place that
- 43:57you stand on is holy ground. Now, I want you
- 44:01to understand there was a statement. I don't
- 44:04know who made it. I don't know if pastor made
- 44:07it before. The place that you're standing on,
- 44:12if that was still holy, we all should be going
- 44:15there to worship. It is not about the place,
- 44:20it's about the position that we are in. So I
- 44:22don't know who said that this morning about the
- 44:24position. But I believe many of us need to understand
- 44:29the position that we are in. And God is saying,
- 44:33take off the sandal. I thought, why take off
- 44:35the sandal? Sandals were made out of dead animal
- 44:41skin. So God says, when you come into my presence,
- 44:44don't come with something dead. Many people,
- 44:49see that was a problem with Cain's offering.
- 44:52He had to cut it, it was dead. But Abel's offering,
- 44:57he would come at the altar and then cut it. Many
- 45:04of us give to the Lord our giving. Recently,
- 45:09somebody asked me, Pastor, we have a lot of debt.
- 45:12I said to them, write down the word debt. And
- 45:15they wrote the word debt, D -E -B -T. I said,
- 45:18let me give you a full form of it. Doing everything
- 45:21but tithing. Good morning to all of you. It may
- 45:31have hit you like a lightning. That's okay. Because
- 45:35God doesn't want you to live in sickness. God
- 45:37doesn't want you to live in debt. God wants you
- 45:38to live in freedom. So the dead things have to
- 45:41go when you come into his presence. He says,
- 45:47take of the sandals. For the ground that you're
- 45:50standing on is holy ground. The position that
- 45:53you have, do you take God for granted? Isaiah
- 45:596 says about the fear of the Lord. I was preaching
- 46:04in a church in London. After preaching, I walked
- 46:10out of the church. And I'm a simple guy. I don't
- 46:13have bodyguards, by the way. I know some preachers
- 46:15need it because they don't believe in Jesus,
- 46:16so they need bodyguards. No, I don't need one.
- 46:22I've been shot, so I don't care. And here's the
- 46:28thing. God bless them all. They can have. My
- 46:32choice is to be a normal person, go to people,
- 46:34shake hands with people, talk to people. That's
- 46:36how I am because God called me for people. So
- 46:40I just was like walking down the church and going
- 46:43because my wife was pregnant and she asked me
- 46:45to get one of the dish, Indian dish where we
- 46:47lived. We didn't have any Indians over there.
- 46:50So she wanted that one because she was pregnant.
- 46:51And you know, when women become pregnant, they
- 46:54have some demands. To have happiness in your
- 47:00life, I have learned, happy wife, happy life.
- 47:05Sad wife, miserable life. So I thought, let's
- 47:10keep her happy. So as I'm walking out of the
- 47:12church, I turn around, and I see one of the members.
- 47:15In Indian culture, we show a lot of respect to
- 47:18our pastors. Indian culture teaches you respect.
- 47:22So as soon as I turned, he looked at me. Every
- 47:30time an Indian will greet another pastor, this
- 47:33is how they say, praise the Lord, pastor. So
- 47:36he folded his hands behind and he said, praise
- 47:38the Lord, pastor. And I said, praise the Lord.
- 47:41And I started to talk to him. As I was talking
- 47:45to him, I realized one thing. That smoke started
- 47:51to come from the backside. Now. That's the time
- 48:00I realized why he put his hands behind. And I
- 48:05say funny things. So I just turned around and
- 48:09said to him, I have seen people smoke from the
- 48:11front, never from the backside. And I thought
- 48:18he had a fear of pastor, but he had no fear of
- 48:21God. I want you to have the fear of the Lord
- 48:30in your life. Because this nation, like I said,
- 48:33belongs to God. You people, you saints belong
- 48:35to God. You're his child. Walk in the fear of
- 48:39the Lord. The present generation will not understand.
- 48:43The older generation will understand. When your
- 48:47father spoke to you and you mumbled back at him,
- 48:51they believed the scriptures. When a believer
- 48:57shall lay hands on the sick, they shall recover.
- 49:02They not only laid hands, they laid holy belt.
- 49:06They laid shoes and every demon came out of us.
- 49:09Yeah. Whenever I said something, I would walk
- 49:13back to my room. But I will be very careful to
- 49:16hear if I hear footsteps following me. Because
- 49:20I knew if he was following, I'm in trouble. By
- 49:25the way, when I was a pastor, I became a pastor
- 49:28of the church. My parents were attending the
- 49:29church. And I answered back when my mother asked
- 49:35me something. I just told her something back.
- 49:38I shouldn't have done. She didn't say anything.
- 49:41She went to the kitchen. Came out with the kettle
- 49:44electric wire. And I was lying in bed. And I
- 49:50felt happening something down south. I just felt,
- 49:53shh. And you could feel the pain. I didn't speak
- 49:59in tongues, I promise you that time. And your
- 50:03mother is standing in front so you can't even
- 50:04say other words. And I'm already past by then.
- 50:09And I got more mad and I said, here's a car key,
- 50:12you do what you want. She gave me one more. I
- 50:16picked up the car keys and said, what vegetables
- 50:17do you want me to buy? It changed me very fast.
- 50:24Some of us have escaped that. All parents, those
- 50:30who are struggling with your kids, send them
- 50:31with me to India. We will take care of them.
- 50:37And we promise we will do everything in the name
- 50:40of Jesus. So he's standing over there and God
- 50:46is talking to him. And God says, I want to use
- 50:51you, son. See, this is what, when you're in the
- 50:54presence of the fire, when you're in the presence
- 50:56of God, God will give you a mission. Remember
- 50:58that. God always gives a mission when you are
- 51:02in his presence. The mission may be to reach
- 51:05your neighbor. The mission, it's not just India.
- 51:09It's not just Afghanistan. It's not just Iran.
- 51:12It's not just these nations. See, God uses us
- 51:15in these nations. But some of you, God wants
- 51:18to use you here in Jerusalem. It starts from
- 51:24here. So God says, I have a mission for you.
- 51:30And he says, you know, God, you picked up the
- 51:33wrong guy. How many of you felt that God picked
- 51:35up the wrong guy? Yeah, I felt that too. Because
- 51:40I have dyslexia. I'm not highly qualified. In
- 51:47my family, everybody has a PhD. PhD does not
- 51:51stand for permanent head damage. But they have
- 51:54a doctorate degree. I used to say before, PhD
- 51:59stands for permanent head damage for this. Because
- 52:03they always look down on you in an Asian culture
- 52:05when you don't have much education. I just had
- 52:09a bachelor's degree, bachelor's in business administration.
- 52:12Worked in accounting for airlines. So they never
- 52:17thought you're worth anything. Listen to me.
- 52:23You were worth it. That is why he shed his blood
- 52:26for you. I want you to hug yourself and say,
- 52:31I'm precious to the Lord. Yeah. You are precious.
- 52:37Maybe you heard the words, you're hopeless. Maybe
- 52:40you heard the word, you're useless. Maybe you
- 52:42heard the word, you will never make it in life.
- 52:44I want you to know, you're not hopeless. You
- 52:46just had less hope and Jesus is the hope giver.
- 52:50And he tells you, you can make it in Jesus' name.
- 52:54Let me prove it to you. The book of Romans 8
- 52:57says you are more than a conqueror. Now some
- 53:01of you, how many of you have heard the word you
- 53:04are a failure? Anybody? Nobody? Maybe one person.
- 53:09Thank you for being truthful. Yeah, we have heard
- 53:14all these negative words. But when he says you're
- 53:18more than a conqueror, I started to look at it
- 53:20and understood. If Mike Tyson and Holly Field
- 53:23had a fight for $10 million and a championship
- 53:27belt, they're punching each other. At the end,
- 53:30Holly Field wins it. Mike Tyson is on the floor.
- 53:33He picks up the belt. He's a champion. He's a
- 53:36conqueror. Takes the $10 million, walks home.
- 53:38His wife is waiting at the door. She takes the
- 53:42$10 million without giving a single punch. She's
- 53:44more than a conqueror. Jesus fought the battle
- 53:50for you. And he gives it to you. And he calls
- 53:54you more than a conqueror. So Moses, you were
- 54:02a failure. You had a lonely life. You were betrayed.
- 54:06But now, I'm changing your destiny because you're
- 54:09in the presence of the fire. When you're in the
- 54:12presence of God's fire, I promise you, Your life
- 54:16will be changed completely. This fire is an unusual
- 54:21fire. It burns, but it does not burn. What kind
- 54:27of fire is that? It's a fire that will consume
- 54:32what is not right. But it will set alight what
- 54:37is right by God. So God is trying to put things
- 54:42right in his life. That's why the fire is not.
- 54:44finishing off the whole tree, the bush. So God
- 54:47is talking to him over there. And he says, God,
- 54:49I'm not ready. How many of you know that Moses
- 54:52made an excuse at the end? I'm a man who stutters.
- 54:57I asked the Lord, was he really a stutterer?
- 55:01Did he stutter? No, he did not. Go to Acts chapter
- 55:087, verse 22. I want you to look over there. What
- 55:11does it say? Somebody can read it for me. Acts
- 55:137. 22. Let me give you the mic. You have a good
- 55:17voice. Because people won't believe if I said
- 55:20something. Moses was educated in all the wisdom
- 55:26of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and
- 55:29action. You have heard all your life he was a
- 55:35stutterer. He was a powerful. Some other versions
- 55:40will say he was eloquent in speech. So how come
- 55:46he become a stutterer? Have you ever thought
- 55:48of that? Because somewhere along the way, he
- 55:53lost the gift that he had. He's taking care of
- 56:01the sheep. He's talking to the sheep. And the
- 56:05sheep are talking back to him. Moses is going
- 56:11on for years. He's losing his ability because
- 56:15all he's communicating is with an animal. Be
- 56:20careful where you communicate. Be careful you
- 56:25will talk to people who will set you on fire,
- 56:26not take the fire out of you. So here you can
- 56:33see, he is a person who's going to complain later,
- 56:36but God says to him, I want to use you. He says,
- 56:39use me? God says, yep. He says, how can you use
- 56:43me? He says, what is in your hand? God is always
- 56:47looking for what's in your hand. Now, Moses says,
- 56:52God, I have a rod that I picked up. It was on
- 56:55the side. I picked it up. I carved it, cut it,
- 56:59made it a good rod that I can walk like a shepherd.
- 57:03So he had made it a good rod so it won't poke
- 57:06into his hands or anything. He took care of it.
- 57:09And God says, Put it to the ground. Whatever
- 57:16giftings you have. Listen to me very carefully.
- 57:20Whatever talents you have. You may have done
- 57:24it in your own strength. But the moment you lay
- 57:29it in the presence of God. You will see the glory
- 57:34of God. That rod turned into a serpent. And the
- 57:39Bible says Moses jumped. Because he knew that's
- 57:45not the right thing. Yeah. How many of you will?
- 57:50I went to a house to preach in New York many
- 57:54years ago. And they said, oh, we have a pet snake.
- 58:00I just looked around and I said, if it comes
- 58:04out, it's dead. Because I know in the Garden
- 58:09of Eden, where Adam and Madam lived, they got
- 58:13into trouble because of the snake. So Moses looks
- 58:17at this and he thinks, uh -uh, that created problem
- 58:20over there. And then God says to him, hold the
- 58:24snake by the tail. Hang on. Have you any time
- 58:28asked God why to hold the snake by the tail?
- 58:32You don't hold the snake by the tail. You have
- 58:34to hold it by the head. Why is God saying, to
- 58:40hold it by the tail. Because it was in the presence
- 58:47of the fire. In the presence of the fire, everything
- 58:55that's deadly, anything that is not right, will
- 59:02lose its power. Let me explain it to you in a
- 59:08different way. Moses got kicked out of Egypt.
- 59:12The crown that the Pharaoh is wearing on the
- 59:16crowned as a serpent. That was their God. So
- 59:21God was saying, son, in the presence of the fire,
- 59:24I'm giving you new authority. Even if you hold
- 59:29it by the tail, it will not be able to strike
- 59:31you and kill you. Because it has been in the
- 59:33presence of the fire. You have been in my presence.
- 59:36That's why the Bible says, no doubt. Deadly poison.
- 59:40No snakes. You shall trample upon snakes and
- 59:44scorpions. So don't worry. Some of us believers,
- 59:50we are very good in worrying. We Indians believe,
- 59:57don't worry, eat curry. So let me ask you a question.
- 1:00:06How much time have you spent in the presence
- 1:00:08of God that you understand the authority that
- 1:00:11God has given you over demonic forces? The demonic
- 1:00:15forces don't have authority over you. The Pharaoh
- 1:00:19may say, hang on, I rule. I am the one. The God
- 1:00:23of this world may say, I rule. I have authority.
- 1:00:26But when you have been in the presence of God,
- 1:00:28God will say, pick it up. Don't be scared. He
- 1:00:36is still not sure. He is like God. Thank you
- 1:00:41very much. God says take your hand. Put it. Under
- 1:00:46your armpit. Take it out. Leprosy. He says put
- 1:00:51it back. Healed. Let me explain it. What you
- 1:00:55have lost. What has become like leprosy in your
- 1:00:58life. God says I will restore it back. Because
- 1:01:02you have been in the presence of the fire. I
- 1:01:04am going to send you back. to Egypt. The one
- 1:01:07that sent you out that looked like a problem
- 1:01:10in your life and I'm going to send you back.
- 1:01:12Last time you came by yourself but this time
- 1:01:15you're not coming alone. You're coming with a
- 1:01:18bunch of people whom you're going to take them
- 1:01:21into freedom and liberty to worship the living
- 1:01:23God. Whatever you have lost in your life, whatever
- 1:01:28is speaking to you that you will not make it,
- 1:01:31I want you to know one thing in your life, that
- 1:01:33God is restoring that power to go back and take
- 1:01:37the blessing of the Lord and bring people into
- 1:01:40freedom. God is giving us authority. Some of
- 1:01:48us need to learn how to dance. See, the problem
- 1:01:52is many of us have become chosen, frozen Christians.
- 1:01:57You need to learn how to rejoice. Rejoice, and
- 1:02:00again I say, rejoice. The joy of the Lord is
- 1:02:05mine. See, if you don't have strength, you can't
- 1:02:08fight battles. That's why you need the joy of
- 1:02:12the Lord. That's why you need to learn how to
- 1:02:14rejoice. That's why after I preach on Mondays,
- 1:02:18I sit and watch Tom and Jerry. I watch Charlie
- 1:02:22Chaplin. And suddenly I'll get a reminder from
- 1:02:26my wife. There's a prayer meeting going on on
- 1:02:30Facebook. Your pastor gets up and I'm just sitting
- 1:02:35and watching. But she'll let me know. I have
- 1:02:38text from her. Hey, pastor is online. See, your
- 1:02:48authority comes only in the presence. The joy
- 1:02:52of the Lord comes in the presence of the Lord.
- 1:02:55Let me go a bit fast and finish it. It says like
- 1:02:59this, God is saying to him, go back. Now see,
- 1:03:03when you have been in the presence of God, God
- 1:03:05will send you back. What you lost, what the canker
- 1:03:09worms ate, what has destroyed, the locusts has
- 1:03:12eaten, God wants to restore it. But God wants
- 1:03:14you to go back, to take it back. We used to sing
- 1:03:18the song in the olden days called, I went to
- 1:03:21the enemy's camp and I took back what he stole
- 1:03:25from me. The problem is he comes and steals from
- 1:03:28us and then we go and steal from him. Then he
- 1:03:30comes back and steals from us and we go back
- 1:03:32and steal. So we go to another conference and
- 1:03:34we get recharged and we go back and steal back
- 1:03:36from him. And he comes back after three months
- 1:03:38and steals from us. Hang on. Until you don't
- 1:03:41tie the strong man. You need to get in and make
- 1:03:45sure he's finished. Pharaoh and his chariots
- 1:03:48and all his men were drowned in the water. We
- 1:03:54need to make sure that this time when we go,
- 1:03:57we are coming back as an army. It may look like
- 1:04:01dry bones, but we are coming back as an army.
- 1:04:05Because God has a promise for this land. God
- 1:04:08has a promise for this church. God is not done
- 1:04:11with this house. God says there are certain things.
- 1:04:15The Shekinah glory is going to rise up in this
- 1:04:18house in a greater way. And you're going to see
- 1:04:21the glory of God in a greater way, the Lord would
- 1:04:23say. So he says, go back. And they turned back.
- 1:04:29Now, he must be scared of his own life. Think
- 1:04:32of this. Moses going back to Pharaoh's palace.
- 1:04:39But when you have been in the presence of God,
- 1:04:40you'll have boldness. You're not a sissy. Lion
- 1:04:47of Judah rolls through you. I'm going to challenge
- 1:04:51you. Be bold. Don't be ashamed of the gospel
- 1:04:54of Jesus Christ. My son, who's a young man, started
- 1:04:59to preach. And a few months ago, he said, listen,
- 1:05:03can I do a YouTube show? And you know what? He
- 1:05:06started to preach on YouTube and started to share
- 1:05:09with all his schoolmates. His sermons. Okay,
- 1:05:16he gets booked on Sunday mornings in some places,
- 1:05:19sometime. But his friends who do not know Jesus,
- 1:05:23I asked him, recently I asked him, I said, hey,
- 1:05:26does anybody bully you because of the gospel
- 1:05:28you share? He said, no. Huh. The fear in us will
- 1:05:34tell us what is fear. F -E -A -R, false evidence
- 1:05:42appearing real. Even though I walk through the
- 1:05:45valley of shadow of death, it's a shadow of death,
- 1:05:48not reality. He goes around like a roaring lion,
- 1:05:52like, not a real lion. But you need to have faith.
- 1:05:57Your church is called faith. Let me give you
- 1:05:59a definition. I have a copyright over it. Faith
- 1:06:01is father all in thy hands. F -A -I -T -H. Have
- 1:06:07faith. The one who has called you is faithful.
- 1:06:10He will not abandon you. See, God does not take
- 1:06:13you to the Pharaoh's palace and runs away. How
- 1:06:16many of you had friends who ring the bell and
- 1:06:18they run off and you're stuck at the door? Did
- 1:06:21you do that as a kid? We did it. We knocked.
- 1:06:25We didn't have bells that time. We knocked. And
- 1:06:27suddenly your friends run. God does not do that.
- 1:06:33He said, I will never leave you. Nor will I.
- 1:06:35Having that assurance, let there be boldness
- 1:06:38in you. Let me say like this, Lincoln should
- 1:06:43see the glory of God. I pray when I come back
- 1:06:46next time, I pray that we will have double service.
- 1:06:52I pray that we will grow and become bigger in
- 1:06:56the name of Jesus because God has called us to
- 1:06:58be fruitful and to multiply. Going to the enemy's
- 1:07:02camp, don't be scared. I'm going to challenge
- 1:07:04you. Those who feel ashamed, every Sunday after
- 1:07:09you hear the sermon, go back and send your friends
- 1:07:12the link and say, hear it. It'll help your life.
- 1:07:18Don't be ashamed. What will they think? Their
- 1:07:22opinion don't matter. God's opinion matters.
- 1:07:28So be bold. And it says like this. He turned
- 1:07:30up in front of the Pharaoh and they turned. He
- 1:07:34says, let my people go. And suddenly, there's
- 1:07:38a rod on the ground and there's a serpent over
- 1:07:43there. Now my question to you is, Aaron went
- 1:07:47with Moses to the palace. Whose rod was thrown
- 1:07:52to the ground? I know most of you are thinking
- 1:07:59Moses' rod. But in Exodus chapter 7, Verse 8
- 1:08:03and 9, it says, and it was Aaron's rod. Huh.
- 1:08:10Have you ever thought Moses had the experience,
- 1:08:13but it's Aaron's rod being thrown in front of
- 1:08:16the Pharaoh? Does that say in your Bible the
- 1:08:19same? Does it say? Just see. Same? Okay. Just
- 1:08:24checking. Because I don't want you to think I'm
- 1:08:27making up stories. Some of us have watched too
- 1:08:32much of movies. That's why we think it's the
- 1:08:36apple in the Garden of Eden. No, it doesn't say
- 1:08:41it was an apple. It can be a banana too. It just
- 1:08:49says fruit. So here's the thing. How come Aaron's
- 1:08:55rod is being used when it was Moses' rod? In
- 1:08:59the presence of God. Let me explain it to you.
- 1:09:02Who you walk with. That anointing will transfer
- 1:09:07on your life. Anointing is transferable. Moses.
- 1:09:15And Aaron walked together. And in that process
- 1:09:18of walking together. There was a transfer. of
- 1:09:24the anointing. The Lord told me recently, son,
- 1:09:27I want you to come into the fatherhood ministry
- 1:09:29and teach churches, teach leaders, speak into
- 1:09:34their life, be a father figure. And I said, okay.
- 1:09:36And God took me to the life of Elijah and Elisha.
- 1:09:41Every prophet in 1 Kings chapter 2, it says,
- 1:09:44every prophet said to Elisha, Your master is
- 1:09:48going to be taken. Hang on, hang on. The prophet
- 1:09:50said, the ones who were being trained by Elijah
- 1:09:52are speaking to Elisha. How come they not say
- 1:09:56our master? Huh. They're saying your master is
- 1:10:00going to be taken up. But when the time of being
- 1:10:03taken up comes, Elisha never says, my master.
- 1:10:06He says, my father. Anointing is always transferred.
- 1:10:13That's why the last miracle of Elijah was parting
- 1:10:17of the Jordan River. The first miracle of Elisha
- 1:10:20is parting of the Jordan River. Where the father
- 1:10:23leaves is where the son picks up. So if you walk
- 1:10:27with the man of God, the anointing will be transferred
- 1:10:29into your life. Who are you walking with? Psalm
- 1:10:351 says, Blessed is the man who walks not in the
- 1:10:37counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way
- 1:10:39of the sinner, nor sits in the... That means
- 1:10:41your fellowship. What is fellowship? Two fellows
- 1:10:46in one ship going in the same direction. How
- 1:10:51many of you know one doesn't go this way, one
- 1:10:53doesn't go that way? I was flying recently and
- 1:10:56one lady asked me in the plane, where are you
- 1:10:58going? I just looked at her. I thought, both
- 1:11:02our seats go to the same destination. Huh. Where
- 1:11:13are we going? Are we walking with the man of
- 1:11:16God? Are you connected with the spirit of this
- 1:11:19house? So that the anointing can be transferred.
- 1:11:23Because here you cannot have your own agendas.
- 1:11:29Because God gives a vision and a mission for
- 1:11:32the house and we need to connect with that. So
- 1:11:35we can become effective. Aaron walked and he
- 1:11:38became effective. You know he became the high
- 1:11:43priest. There's a reward for the price that you
- 1:11:48pay. There's a reward when you walk with the
- 1:11:52man of God. I worked as a driver in my father's
- 1:11:56ministry. Even now, I still drive people. Recently,
- 1:12:01a man of God came. I drove him around. He was
- 1:12:04like, you must be tired. I said, don't worry.
- 1:12:07I said, as long as you're comfortable. Six hours.
- 1:12:11I'm not preaching. Driving. Two weeks ago. Why
- 1:12:17do you do that? Because I know when I walk with
- 1:12:20a man of God, when I sit with a man of God, when
- 1:12:22I talk to a man of God, the anointing that is
- 1:12:24upon them will be given. When I'm discouraged,
- 1:12:30these voices are the voices that speak to me
- 1:12:32still. And it says like this, he brought people
- 1:12:39into freedom. But at that fireplace is where
- 1:12:43the snake, I thought in the New Testament, is
- 1:12:48there a snake anywhere else? In Acts 28, you
- 1:12:53see the life of Paul in the island of Malta.
- 1:12:58Now, he brings some stick, puts fire, hang on,
- 1:13:02wherever there is fire, if it is a real one,
- 1:13:07where God is showing his manifested glory, nothing
- 1:13:12will happen. But when it's not a real, The fire
- 1:13:17will make it jump out. Your prayer life has the
- 1:13:20power to bring every demonic force out of your
- 1:13:23life. The curses that has held your family, you
- 1:13:27have the power because of prayer life to bring
- 1:13:30it out. You don't need to live with your generational
- 1:13:34curse. The devil and his mother -in -law both
- 1:13:38are liars. Don't ask me if he has a mother -in
- 1:13:40-law or not, but it just sounds good. you to
- 1:13:45know, you need to break that in prayer life.
- 1:13:48When your prayer gets into that hot moment, it
- 1:13:54gets heated up. Every snake is going to come
- 1:13:56out. It comes out and bites him. Hang on. What
- 1:14:02has spent time in the presence of the fire cannot
- 1:14:05kill you. It bites. The whole village is excited.
- 1:14:07Now, hang on. He's going to die. He's going to
- 1:14:09die. They're waiting for him to die. But he has
- 1:14:12been in the presence of God. It's not going to
- 1:14:14kill him. Because of his testimony, the whole
- 1:14:18island gets saved. Now, I thought of this. Acts
- 1:14:24stops in Acts 28 with a snake. Now, my question
- 1:14:33to you is, can you become Acts 29? That the fire
- 1:14:39of God will burn every snake out of Lincoln you
- 1:14:43will chase out in the name of Jesus. Every witch
- 1:14:45doctor you will chase out. Every hex will be
- 1:14:49destroyed. Every generational curse. Listen to
- 1:14:52me, God, hang on, Abraham Lincoln, where was
- 1:14:56he born? Kentucky. But where did he live? Now
- 1:15:08my question to you is, for you, you had the freedom
- 1:15:12because of some great men. Who paid the cost.
- 1:15:17Now will you carry that fire. That will burn
- 1:15:20and destroy every demonic force. Because demonic
- 1:15:23forces are rising up. But they have no authority
- 1:15:27over us. So become Acts 29 where the fire burns.
- 1:15:32And whatever rises up. And it may try to strike
- 1:15:34you. But it cannot destroy you. It cannot destroy
- 1:15:38you. So this question arises to you. This morning.
- 1:15:44As we celebrate 250 years of God's goodness in
- 1:15:49this land. And I'll say this. God's goodness.
- 1:15:55The land of the free. And the home of the brave.
- 1:16:00We are the soldiers of Jesus Christ. And we are
- 1:16:03brave. And we will bring people into freedom.
- 1:16:07That they can live in this land in freedom. So
- 1:16:11let's become Acts 29, where the fire of the Holy
- 1:16:14Spirit will burn through us. Where the glory
- 1:16:17of God will be revealed. This day I'm going to
- 1:16:19challenge you. Don't give up. Don't shut up.
- 1:16:21Don't sit down. But get into the presence of
- 1:16:24God. And say God more of you. I need. It may
- 1:16:26look strange to other people. It may look weird
- 1:16:29to other people. But I want my flesh to be dead.
- 1:16:32Watch carefully. In Genesis 22. I'm going to
- 1:16:35finish with this. Just two minutes. It says like
- 1:16:38this. And Abraham and Isaac are on the mountain.
- 1:16:41Isaac is laid on the wood. I can't go into the
- 1:16:44whole explanation. It's a beautiful. message
- 1:16:46I have on that Abraham's life. It says like this,
- 1:16:49he picked up the knife to kill him before the
- 1:16:52fire fell. The body had to die. If your flesh
- 1:16:57can die, if your agendas can die, God can put
- 1:16:59his fire upon you that he can use you greatly
- 1:17:02in this nation. I'm going to challenge all of
- 1:17:04you right now that fire of God may fall. Every
- 1:17:06eye closed. Let's get into the presence of God
- 1:17:09and ask God to touch you. Ask God to touch you.
- 1:17:12Ask the Holy Spirit to move in your life. Say,
- 1:17:14Lord, my agendas are dead. My fleshly desires
- 1:17:17are dead. Lord, it's all about you, Lord. It's
- 1:17:20all about you, Lord. More of you in my life,
- 1:17:22oh Lord. I'm not happy. where I am. I need more
- 1:17:25of you, Lord. I need that power to flow. That
- 1:17:28power that Moses experienced. The power that
- 1:17:31Paul flowed in, oh Lord. Do you know Paul was
- 1:17:33one of the most boring preachers? His preacher
- 1:17:37was so bad that man fell asleep and then he fell
- 1:17:40down and died. But he had so much of power to
- 1:17:44raise the man from the dead. You may be boring,
- 1:17:48you may not be eloquent in your speech, but if
- 1:17:50you have the power of God, That'll do great things.
- 1:17:55This day, surrender yourself in the hands of
- 1:17:58the Lord. All to Jesus, I surrender. Take me,
- 1:18:06use me the way you want. Father, I pray for my
- 1:18:12brothers and sisters. I thank you for this house,
- 1:18:16your house. I thank you for the leadership. Pastor
- 1:18:22Darren and Pastor Cammie and the other leaders,
- 1:18:24oh Lord. I thank you for the branch church. I
- 1:18:29thank you for what you're going to do more coming
- 1:18:31up. I thank you for your faithfulness. But I
- 1:18:37pray each and everyone in this house may experience
- 1:18:41the tangible presence of the Lord. Lord, if they're
