Speaker 1: is a time to bring the needs of different listeners
• 0:08
Speaker 1: before the Lord in prayer so that we can see
• 0:10
Speaker 1: him answer. Please pray along with me. And Father, we
• 0:15
Speaker 1: thank you for this Friday heading into this September weekend.
• 0:20
Speaker 1: Help us to just be mindful of your presence in
• 0:22
Speaker 1: every situation, every conversation, every activity. Lord, we want to
• 0:28
Speaker 1: be open before you, led by your spirit, good counsel,
• 0:31
Speaker 1: your word. Everything we build, we build on the rock
• 0:34
Speaker 1: of Christ Jesus. Those relationships, Lord, that we have, help
• 0:38
Speaker 1: us to let you have your way. Your way is
• 0:42
Speaker 1: higher than ours. Lord, help us to defer to your plans,
• 0:45
Speaker 1: your purposes, and share some of them with each one
• 0:49
Speaker 1: of us. Fill us afresh with your spirit, Lord. We
• 0:52
Speaker 1: thank you for this day and this weekend, and we
• 0:54
Speaker 1: commit it to you. Of course, praying for pastors, those
• 0:58
Speaker 1: serving in church this weekend, give them extra encouragement in
• 1:01
Speaker 1: their hearts. Lord, and encourage our country today on this
• 1:06
Speaker 1: 25th anniversary of that terrible attack on 9-11 25 years ago.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: Over 3,000 Americans killed. Change the course of America's involvement
• 1:18
Speaker 1: in the world. So many questions. Lord, you have the answers.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: Show us how to cherish our country, how to be mindful,
• 1:29
Speaker 1: to be on guard. America is such a blessing to
• 1:35
Speaker 1: the world. Help us to continue to be that. Move
• 1:41
Speaker 1: in our churches, move in our pastor's hearts to call
• 1:46
Speaker 1: the nation back to repentance and back to you. Such
• 1:50
Speaker 1: a unity of spirit at that time didn't last very long.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: or we want to see that come back, at least
• 1:56
Speaker 1: amongst your people. Let it start there, Lord. Revive our hearts,
• 2:01
Speaker 1: we ask. Surround the president with godly counsel. So many decisions.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: The world has only gotten more dangerous, and he needs wisdom.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: Wisdom from you. Lord, help him to not lean on
• 2:17
Speaker 1: his own understanding, but in all of his ways acknowledge you. Lord,
• 2:21
Speaker 1: show him the direction for key decisions about the Middle East, Ukraine,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: other issues. Also praying specifically, first of all, today for, well,
• 2:34
Speaker 1: actually a praise report. We prayed for a woman to
• 2:37
Speaker 1: have a good report after an endoscopy, a biopsy, and
• 2:40
Speaker 1: things are fine. So Lord, we just rejoice with her,
• 2:42
Speaker 1: no cancer. Give her a blessed day today and show
• 2:47
Speaker 1: her the next steps she needs to take in service
• 2:50
Speaker 1: to you. Also praying specifically for a person who wants
• 2:56
Speaker 1: to get into a nursing school. You know what you
• 3:01
Speaker 1: have for this person. We pray you'd open doors for
• 3:04
Speaker 1: her to get into the proper school. Also a mom
• 3:10
Speaker 1: praying for her children to be safe and to remain
• 3:13
Speaker 1: in her custody. I guess in the middle of some
• 3:16
Speaker 1: legal problems. Lord, we pray what's best for this family,
• 3:19
Speaker 1: these kids, this mom, Lord. confirm her steps and give
• 3:23
Speaker 1: her favor, we ask. Also praying for a mom's health
• 3:28
Speaker 1: and our son's health. You know what's going on with
• 3:31
Speaker 1: both of these. This elderly mom, Lord, we pray you'd
• 3:35
Speaker 1: keep her healthy. And this son, his well-being, you know
• 3:40
Speaker 1: what's going on with him. Also praying for a person's
• 3:48
Speaker 1: eye surgery to go smoothly. We pray that you'd Give
• 3:53
Speaker 1: doctors wisdom and very delicate surgery. Lord, we pray for
• 3:57
Speaker 1: successful surgery there. Also, another mom having eye surgery. We
• 4:01
Speaker 1: pray for that to go well. Again, delicate. Lord, we
• 4:04
Speaker 1: pray that you'd guide the surgeons. Both of these people
• 4:07
Speaker 1: will have successful eye surgeries. And we ask for all
• 4:13
Speaker 1: of this in Jesus' name. Amen.
