- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we are scrubbing in.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We have a Dear Bonnie episode today.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Do you like when we played the guests who game?
- 0:21Speaker 2: Like, are you having fun doing that?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Okay? So I'm glad you brought that up. Yeah, because
- 0:25Speaker 1: I was seeing some scuttle in the Facebook group that
- 0:28Speaker 1: it's hard for the listeners to follow along like it
- 0:32Speaker 1: was after the one when we had three of us
- 0:34Speaker 1: going mm hm. So I don't think we should do
- 0:36Speaker 1: it like that anymore, even when we pingpong. I think
- 0:39Speaker 1: it's more for video, like it's funny you can watch
- 0:42Speaker 1: on video and it's like easy to follow along. I
- 0:44Speaker 1: think as listeners it's like hard, like it's hard for
- 0:46Speaker 1: them to guess because they it's too hard. Oh do
- 0:49Speaker 1: you get what I'm saying? So you're saying so like,
- 0:51Speaker 1: I think you should go and just ask as many
- 0:54Speaker 1: questions as you can and then you figure out your
- 0:56Speaker 1: person and then we kind of go one by one
- 0:58Speaker 1: instead of oh around like that.
- 1:00Speaker 4: And then like you keep track of how how many
- 1:02Speaker 4: questions get it?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Interesting? Yeah, So they like the game, just the way
- 1:07Speaker 3: the format is.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I think they want to play along. Oh they do
- 1:10Speaker 1: want to want to play long, and it's hard for
- 1:12Speaker 1: them to follow when it's like one question, one question,
- 1:15Speaker 1: one question, one question.
- 1:18Speaker 5: That's how some people complain that they had a hard
- 1:20Speaker 5: time remembering what was what. Yeah, and my distrection is
- 1:23Speaker 5: like take notes. That was taking notes, but just for me,
- 1:26Speaker 5: and I wasn't thinking about all three of us.
- 1:28Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Yeah, well I should do it
- 1:30Speaker 1: one by one and just see who can do it
- 1:32Speaker 1: the fat who can get it that.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Maybe we do.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Time a timer or the fewest questions, Yeah, like we
- 1:38Speaker 1: count all the questions.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Okay, smart? And then also I was thinking maybe we
- 1:43Speaker 3: do the like a recap midway through of like you
- 1:48Speaker 3: always do this. So I'm an actor, I'm under thirty,
- 1:51Speaker 3: like you, you're good about doing that.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Thank you so much. I like to reset for the audience.
- 1:54Speaker 3: You're not good at winning the game, but you're great
- 1:56Speaker 3: at giving the listeners.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Theodcast professional here, okay, decades of if you're nothing, if nothing,
- 2:04Speaker 1: you are a broadcast professional. Thank you, Thank you so much.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Hope you enjoy that production meeting of scrubing.
- 2:09Speaker 3: In just a little bts. Okay, so we actually have
- 2:14Speaker 3: a dear bonnya, but it's what's a.
- 2:19Speaker 2: He's bringing it to the floor.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Yes, I'm going ahead of the I'm cutting the line here.
- 2:23Speaker 5: I did not write an email, I didn't leave a
- 2:25Speaker 5: voice message. I'm gonna do this because I'm having a crisis.
- 2:29Speaker 1: U baby. Yes, yeah, getting the ind on the on
- 2:36Speaker 1: the dear bonya using.
- 2:37Speaker 4: My opportunity, not giving to everybody else.
- 2:40Speaker 5: So we have these neighbors that are nice, but we've
- 2:46Speaker 5: noticed it's it's this young couple. They have two small kids,
- 2:49Speaker 5: and then the wife's dad kind of I don't know
- 2:52Speaker 5: if he lives with them or he's just there a lot,
- 2:54Speaker 5: like working on the house.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I have noticed, bless you.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry that one was ferocious.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I've noticed because we have a camera in our alley
- 3:02Speaker 5: where our garbage cans are, and I've noticed this guy.
- 3:05Speaker 5: He'll go out with a leaf blower, can't blow the alley,
- 3:08Speaker 5: very nice swim to do, and then he sweeps up
- 3:11Speaker 5: a bunch of garbage and puts it in our garbage
- 3:13Speaker 5: can and it normally I was like, yeah, it feels
- 3:18Speaker 5: it feels weird. But also I've done that to people.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Maybe this is just karma coming back. It's gone to
- 3:23Speaker 5: the point now there's like a lot he's putting all
- 3:25Speaker 5: of his like leaves and like just random debris in
- 3:28Speaker 5: there and kind of filling it up.
- 3:29Speaker 1: But isn't that shared property like in the alley, Like it's.
- 3:33Speaker 4: The alley is shared property.
- 3:34Speaker 5: But we have garbage cans and they have garbage cans, right,
- 3:37Speaker 5: you know, so he's going to our garbage cans and
- 3:39Speaker 5: then he like repositions our garbage cans, you know, not
- 3:43Speaker 5: enough to where it blocks our garage, but like just
- 3:45Speaker 5: it's just weird. And we're Alison and I are like
- 3:48Speaker 5: obsessed over this now, We're like why is he doing this?
- 3:50Speaker 5: So we were going to bring it up to his daughter,
- 3:53Speaker 5: who is our neighbor, be like, hey, could your dad
- 3:55Speaker 5: maybe not use our garbage cans. She started doing it too,
- 3:58Speaker 5: We saw it yesterday. She was like cleaning out the
- 4:01Speaker 5: garage and putting stuff in our garbage cans. So I
- 4:05Speaker 5: don't want to be like a petty, weird neighbor, but also.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Can't you put your garbage can somewhere else? Are they
- 4:10Speaker 1: doing the same day every week?
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's always on Sundays.
- 4:14Speaker 1: So Sundays move your trash cans, like, and can you
- 4:17Speaker 1: move them in your garage?
- 4:18Speaker 4: That's what I suggest that to Alison.
- 4:20Speaker 5: She said, maybe we get one of those locks, and
- 4:22Speaker 5: I was like, that's equally that's equal effort, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 5: like it feels weird to put a lock on our
- 4:27Speaker 5: garbage can too.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I think you just need to say, hey, say something.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah wait, I'm so confused. Why what are you going
- 4:36Speaker 1: to say? Stop putting the leaves in our garage in
- 4:39Speaker 1: our trash can.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I'd say, hey, we just to make sure that we
- 4:43Speaker 3: have enough space, Like would you mind asking if you
- 4:46Speaker 3: need to put your leaves in here?
- 4:47Speaker 1: Just because this is our property. I think it's it's
- 4:49Speaker 1: just not their leaves. It'd be weird to me if
- 4:51Speaker 1: they were throwing like the kitchen trash like out in
- 4:54Speaker 1: your trash can.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Yesterday it was a construction trash was going our trash can.
- 4:59Speaker 5: That was the That was the thing that pushed me
- 5:01Speaker 5: over the edge because leaves and stuff, I guess, you know, uh,
- 5:05Speaker 5: they're also really weird about property lines and stuff like that.
- 5:08Speaker 5: And he the dad comes up onto our porch every
- 5:10Speaker 5: week and leaf blows our porch, which is nice, but
- 5:13Speaker 5: also I'm like, if I do that to you, you'd
- 5:15Speaker 5: be like, you'd have a gun in my face. Honestly,
- 5:17Speaker 5: Like he's on your porch, on my porch, like leaf blowing,
- 5:21Speaker 5: but like this is weird. It's weird, right, Okay, I
- 5:24Speaker 5: feel like it's weird. But I also is like he's
- 5:26Speaker 5: kind of doing something nice. But I also didn't ask
- 5:29Speaker 5: him to do That's the thing.
- 5:30Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 5:31Speaker 3: You didn't say, Hey, y'all, didn't have a conversation where
- 5:33Speaker 3: he was like, hey, would you want me to leaf
- 5:35Speaker 3: blow your porch while I'm doing this? And you said,
- 5:37Speaker 3: oh my gosh, i'd be amazing. He's just doing on
- 5:40Speaker 3: your property.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 3: So I would say, either have a conversation with them,
- 5:44Speaker 3: and if you don't want to be confrontational, just move
- 5:46Speaker 3: your cans into the garage.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think.
- 5:49Speaker 1: That hands into the garage. I could not have that
- 5:51Speaker 1: conversation with the neighbor personally, Yeah, because I throw my
- 5:56Speaker 1: stuff in other people's trash cans. I don't like your
- 6:00Speaker 1: dog poop if you're walking.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I hate when Hayley does that, especially dog poop.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm like, poop, it's in a trash can. You wrap
- 6:09Speaker 1: it up in a bag and you tie it. It's
- 6:10Speaker 1: not like you're just like throwing the poop in there.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm really weird about this.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I only throw the poop away, either in our trash
- 6:15Speaker 3: can or in like if we because we walk by
- 6:18Speaker 3: a park, I'll put it in like a pubby.
- 6:20Speaker 1: What if you're in like a neighborhood, so I take someny.
- 6:22Speaker 1: If I'm on my street and I'm just like walking
- 6:24Speaker 1: her down, I'll hold the poop and I'll throw it
- 6:26Speaker 1: in our trash can. But if I'm like down in
- 6:28Speaker 1: a different part of town around home.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I don't think I would imagine people don't care. I
- 6:35Speaker 3: just care.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So this would bug me.
- 6:37Speaker 3: And even when we have like during Christmas and stuff,
- 6:40Speaker 3: we'd have so many boxes and recyclable things. I would
- 6:43Speaker 3: text my neighbor and say like, hey, if y'all have
- 6:45Speaker 3: space in your because they would be out of town,
- 6:46Speaker 3: I'd say, would you mind if we use your recycle
- 6:49Speaker 3: bind to put some stuff like? I would always text them.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I would never just assume.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Right, that feels crazy to me.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Well, no, I would never put my boxes in my
- 6:57Speaker 1: neighbor's trash can that's crazy or.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Trash, Like when if we had to excess amount of trash,
- 7:03Speaker 3: I would text him and say, hey, if you have
- 7:05Speaker 3: room in your trash, can can I put our trash
- 7:08Speaker 3: in there?
- 7:09Speaker 1: I think it's so weird that they're not asking it.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It leaves.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It's like community property. I get it, but then put
- 7:16Speaker 1: it in putting it in their own Maybe it's a
- 7:19Speaker 1: walk away, too far of a walk. Maybe they're ending
- 7:21Speaker 1: on your side of the street. So it's just like.
- 7:23Speaker 5: There theirs are behind of gate, but like I don't
- 7:28Speaker 5: know a yard from ours, Like their trash cans are
- 7:31Speaker 5: out there too, and I don't I feel super petty
- 7:34Speaker 5: going out there and like.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Look it in there, just be like, oh, you got
- 7:36Speaker 4: some room in here? You know I didn't. I don't
- 7:38Speaker 4: want to do that.
- 7:39Speaker 5: But it also feels weird, like every time because again
- 7:42Speaker 5: we have got we have a camera back there because
- 7:44Speaker 5: I had some issues with some It's an alleyway, you know,
- 7:47Speaker 5: people are doing stuff, so we have a camera back there,
- 7:49Speaker 5: and then it goes off and I just see this
- 7:50Speaker 5: guy just you know, dumping stuff in there.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I guess my thing would be if you had a
- 7:54Speaker 3: relationship with them and y'all talked a lot, and it
- 7:57Speaker 3: was like that vibe. It would be like, oh, you know,
- 8:01Speaker 3: because I do feel like there are neighbors sometimes where
- 8:03Speaker 3: you have that relationship and rapport with them where it's
- 8:06Speaker 3: like understood, like we're.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Cleaning up the leaves, So do you mind we're.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Throwing We're all in this.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Wednesday, so you have a few days where you could
- 8:16Speaker 3: be filling it up and there's space taken in there.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Yeah, we did it. We were we didn't have a
- 8:23Speaker 5: lot going on yesterday. So we saw them put They
- 8:26Speaker 5: put a big spool of like it was like you
- 8:29Speaker 5: know that paper you put down when you're like painting
- 8:31Speaker 5: your house, like the or like doing construction. They had
- 8:33Speaker 5: a big role of that and they put it in
- 8:35Speaker 5: our garbage can. So we waited for them to go
- 8:37Speaker 5: back inside. I go out there. I just took it
- 8:39Speaker 5: out and just put it next to the garbage can
- 8:41Speaker 5: which is in front of their garage. And I'm like,
- 8:42Speaker 5: if they put it back in, I'm gonna lose it.
- 8:45Speaker 4: They did not. They just left it in front of
- 8:47Speaker 4: the garage.
- 8:47Speaker 3: So I think they'll get the hint if you just
- 8:49Speaker 3: move the trash cans into the garage.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It is aggressive. It is not neighborly. No, I would
- 8:56Speaker 1: just put the trash cans in your garage, call it
- 8:57Speaker 1: a day.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's probably when I have to do.
- 9:01Speaker 3: And if he continues, If he continues, well yeah, it's
- 9:04Speaker 3: annoying having a movement. But if he continues to just
- 9:07Speaker 3: be on the porch and that becomes a problem, I
- 9:09Speaker 3: think maybe you're going to have to have some confrontational conversation. Yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 3: because like I said, I think if you have that
- 9:17Speaker 3: kind of agreement with your neighbor, it's one thing.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But if he's just blowing off, so let me just
- 9:23Speaker 1: tell you, there's nothing more frustrating than your trash bins
- 9:26Speaker 1: being full when you're like a day or two away
- 9:28Speaker 1: from trash day.
- 9:30Speaker 3: So annoying, worse, it sucks.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'm like stepping in there. I'm like using my hands
- 9:37Speaker 1: as smush, like, oh.
- 9:39Speaker 2: You have to get crafty, you do really crafty.
- 9:42Speaker 5: You know, it's crazy we we use as company athens.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I don't know, I think there will across southern California.
- 9:48Speaker 5: But we were filling up our garbage can and then
- 9:51Speaker 5: our like Green Waiste was like mostly empty.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Yeah, and so it's like leaves and stuff.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Yeah, So I called.
- 9:57Speaker 5: I was like, can I get a bigger can or
- 9:59Speaker 5: maybe a other one? Like I'll pay whatever, and then
- 10:02Speaker 5: they ignored me. And then the garbage guy came by
- 10:04Speaker 5: and I'm like, hey, I'm sorry, man, it's just full.
- 10:06Speaker 4: I don't know what to do.
- 10:06Speaker 5: And he's like, let me tell you something. All three
- 10:08Speaker 5: of these they go in the same bin. Put whatever
- 10:11Speaker 5: you want, and all three of them does not matter,
- 10:12Speaker 5: like recycling too. He's like, yeah, all goes the same thing.
- 10:16Speaker 5: You're lying And I'm like uh, and he's like, we
- 10:19Speaker 5: soared it later and it was kind of like giving
- 10:22Speaker 5: me a look, and I'm like, this sucks.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I'm being a good amount of time.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I spent googling which can go in the green? Like
- 10:34Speaker 1: you can put a pizza box in the green? Did
- 10:35Speaker 1: you know that?
- 10:36Speaker 2: No?
- 10:37Speaker 4: I did not. And now I'm like, so I can
- 10:39Speaker 4: just put everything in.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Then he's like, yeah, hey, is he putting the leaves
- 10:43Speaker 2: into your green bin?
- 10:44Speaker 4: Yes, he's not putting them in like the garbage can.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Respectfully.
- 10:52Speaker 4: So you say move the cans or just live with it.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that, but I would if they're moving them,
- 10:57Speaker 3: I say, can you just not move them. I think
- 10:59Speaker 3: that's a fair ask, Like, hey, I don't mind you
- 11:01Speaker 3: putting this stuff in here because you're doing us a favor,
- 11:03Speaker 3: but can you just not move them?
- 11:04Speaker 4: Okay, that feels fair.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And that bin is like always empty, yeah, well ours
- 11:11Speaker 1: is never full.
- 11:12Speaker 5: We we have a lot of leaves in the back here,
- 11:14Speaker 5: you know, our guy comes and fills it up.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I think if the green bin is like not an
- 11:21Speaker 3: issue for you, I think you more so just have
- 11:23Speaker 3: a conversation about not moving things around.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Yeah all right, well thank you.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I'm very I really respect the property lines too, so
- 11:32Speaker 3: I feel your frustration and concerns.
- 11:37Speaker 5: We we wanted to put a fence in, and we
- 11:39Speaker 5: asked them about doing that and they're like, oh, yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 5: we'll get back to you. And then the next day
- 11:43Speaker 5: they had someone come out and do the survey and
- 11:46Speaker 5: like put the markers in for y'all. Yeah, like like
- 11:49Speaker 5: for our property lines. Like it was just we just
- 11:52Speaker 5: kind of like had an idea and we're like, hey,
- 11:55Speaker 5: we won't put a fence in, you know, is that
- 11:56Speaker 5: like yeah, yeah, we'll ge back to you. And then
- 11:58Speaker 5: the next day some guys out there like the whole
- 11:59Speaker 5: thing and putting the spike in the ground, and I
- 12:01Speaker 5: was like, oh God, just could turn into the half
- 12:03Speaker 5: fields of McCoy's.
- 12:04Speaker 3: You should them some other things you want you take
- 12:07Speaker 3: are on it. Actually, let's let's take advantage of the pool.
- 12:12Speaker 5: In Hey, thanks for the advice you guys. That's the
- 12:15Speaker 5: kind of quality advice you get here.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Now I could use my own.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Okay, well, let's take it break, let's do this.
- 12:43Speaker 1: We're back. Dear Bonya. I walk my dog to poop
- 12:49Speaker 1: every day and it's five houses down from our house.
- 12:53Speaker 1: They have a sign in their yard that says, please
- 12:56Speaker 1: don't have your dog pee on my lawn. Like it's
- 12:58Speaker 1: you know, like it's one of those like oh yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: it has like a dog like peeing and it says
- 13:02Speaker 1: like a dog pee kills grass or something. But they
- 13:05Speaker 1: have turf, which is I don't understand. But the couple
- 13:09Speaker 1: that lives in this house, and we've met them several
- 13:11Speaker 1: times there are cute at can be older, older couple
- 13:16Speaker 1: with a little dog of their own. And so I'm
- 13:18Speaker 1: like really thrown by the sign in their front yard
- 13:21Speaker 1: because I'm just like, it just doesn't feel like them.
- 13:23Speaker 1: But anyway, Sunny loves pooping. That's like her poop place.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Okay, she wants what she can't have exactly.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But Robbie and I, obviously we don't like we always
- 13:33Speaker 1: pick up our poop. We always pick it up, we
- 13:34Speaker 1: take it home whatever, We'll throw it in their trash,
- 13:37Speaker 1: can we take it to our house. But the other
- 13:40Speaker 1: day I was taking some to poop and there's a
- 13:43Speaker 1: huge poop on their lawn. It wasn't from Sunny. Obviously
- 13:48Speaker 1: she didn't end up pooping there that day, And I
- 13:50Speaker 1: was like, should I pick up the poop even though
- 13:52Speaker 1: it's not my dog's, just because I'm always pooping on
- 13:55Speaker 1: this lawn, I don't want them to think it's me.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I didn't. I couldn't muster up the I couldn't. I know.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I should have picked it up though, and thrown it away,
- 14:03Speaker 1: because like, I don't want them thinking it was Sunny.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's much larger than Sonny's. But they don't know that.
- 14:09Speaker 1: They don't know how Petita. They probably camera how would
- 14:13Speaker 1: I know?
- 14:13Speaker 2: They're probably watching you. They probably watch you examine should
- 14:17Speaker 2: I pick it up or not?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Shake your head, probably like walks all over it, because
- 14:24Speaker 1: like Sunny will like walk around and they're little, because
- 14:27Speaker 1: it's hard to explain, but they have like this grassy
- 14:29Speaker 1: patch they live on like a it's like a curve,
- 14:32Speaker 1: like it's the street just curves, and so it's kind
- 14:35Speaker 1: of dangerous with like the traffic as people are just
- 14:37Speaker 1: going fast around there. So anytime we've seen them, they're like, oh,
- 14:39Speaker 1: like walk through our driveway. It's safer for the dogs.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And Robbie just like walks all over the grass, like
- 14:45Speaker 1: I at least try and stand on like the curb
- 14:47Speaker 1: or like the driveway, so I'm not like on the grass. Yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 1: but it's her place of poop, like that's where she's chosen. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 1: I should have picked it up, right, I don't know.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I don't think I would have.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Really. As I was like walking away, I was like,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I should have.
- 15:04Speaker 3: It would have been a really nice gesture. Why would
- 15:07Speaker 3: I do your gesture? I don't think you're a bad
- 15:11Speaker 3: person for not doing it.
- 15:12Speaker 1: But why didn't I choose the nice neighborly thing to do.
- 15:15Speaker 3: It's poop and another dog. It's not your own blood DNA.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I know, like Sonny's poop is like petite and cute.
- 15:24Speaker 3: And one little thing, and yeah, and then someone will
- 15:29Speaker 3: leave like a whole big thing in the middle of
- 15:31Speaker 3: the sidewalk, And I'm like, this is so inconsidered because
- 15:34Speaker 3: even if I run out of bags, I will get
- 15:36Speaker 3: a leaf and like try to just like yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I've gone bare hands before. Whoa you guys to be
- 15:47Speaker 1: like yeah, me too. No, no, but I definitely use
- 15:50Speaker 1: a leaf same yeah, ye been there too.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 3: So I don't think she thinks it's sunny, And I
- 16:01Speaker 3: don't think you're a bad person for not picking it up.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You know what, thank you for writing it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Maybe I'm gonna be the nice person from now on.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna choose the nice path. Wow.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I don't think it's nice versus not nice. I think
- 16:16Speaker 3: it's just a very thoughtful gesture that you didn't have
- 16:21Speaker 3: to do.
- 16:21Speaker 1: But why not be the thoughtful neighbor?
- 16:25Speaker 5: You know, we're faced with these choices in life of
- 16:29Speaker 5: like doing things that you'll never be like thanked for
- 16:33Speaker 5: or acknowledged for, like putting the grocery cart back. Is
- 16:36Speaker 5: a is a big one where it's like you don't
- 16:38Speaker 5: get punished if you don't do it, and then you
- 16:40Speaker 5: you don't get thanked if you do. It's just a
- 16:41Speaker 5: nice thing to do.
- 16:42Speaker 1: But that's a that's a test of morality and character.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Yeah, And the.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Only excuse you have is if you're a mom with
- 16:49Speaker 3: kids trying to get them in the car and you've
- 16:51Speaker 3: you're parked far away from where the return is and
- 16:53Speaker 3: I have I have grace for those people and only
- 16:56Speaker 3: them or or you, like.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I have to go to the bathroom really no, no, okay, yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: any time.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yeah, But cleaning up another dog's poof, that's the same.
- 17:08Speaker 5: It's it's like you're tipping the scales in the right
- 17:10Speaker 5: way by doing it, Like.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously's still sitting with me.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Well, I got home last night and there was a
- 17:17Speaker 3: dead mouse in our front yard and I had to
- 17:20Speaker 3: figure out how to pick up because Haley was freaking out,
- 17:23Speaker 3: and I was like, because I'm gonna be the the moon.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So I triple bag Phoebees poop bags.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Those were so thin.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I tripled and I picked it up and it was
- 17:37Speaker 3: so sad, and I said, I'm so sorry whatever happened
- 17:39Speaker 3: to you, and I hope it was peaceful.
- 17:42Speaker 2: And then I would you do put him in the bag? Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 2: put him in the bag and throw in your trash can.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I had to pick up a dead chipmunk overke.
- 17:50Speaker 3: End that would break her chipmunks are so.
- 17:55Speaker 1: They're like big got.
- 17:58Speaker 5: We have a place in uh I don't want then
- 18:00Speaker 5: the mountains, and we were gonna go up there for
- 18:02Speaker 5: the weekend.
- 18:02Speaker 4: We walk in Plata. Yeah, we have a.
- 18:08Speaker 5: We have a failed airbnb situation. So we're going there
- 18:12Speaker 5: just to have a nice weekend. And we walk in
- 18:13Speaker 5: and it smells like something dead and we're like, oh man,
- 18:17Speaker 5: because we had we had a rat problem. And anyway,
- 18:20Speaker 5: I go downstairs. I just see this dead, freshly dead
- 18:22Speaker 5: chipmunk and I don't know what happened, but inside inside
- 18:27Speaker 5: on the on the rug underneath our bed, and uh,
- 18:31Speaker 5: it was it's it's like it sucks because it's sad
- 18:34Speaker 5: and gross.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, disturbing.
- 18:38Speaker 5: And just and yeah, just upsetting and like you could
- 18:40Speaker 5: see like evidence of it all over the place. I
- 18:42Speaker 5: was like, God, it probably got like I think it
- 18:44Speaker 5: ran in when like we had a cleaner or something
- 18:46Speaker 5: and then it got just got stuck in there and
- 18:48Speaker 5: didn't know how.
- 18:48Speaker 4: To get out.
- 18:49Speaker 5: It was broke my heart. And then yeah, I think
- 18:53Speaker 5: it or dehydration or something. Just this is so dark,
- 18:58Speaker 5: but but you know, I put gloves on and then
- 19:01Speaker 5: like a garbage bag and like kind of scooped it up.
- 19:04Speaker 4: I can feel its body, and it was like this
- 19:06Speaker 4: is so it was weird.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Simultaneously I was feeling so sad and like I was
- 19:11Speaker 5: like like I.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Was like, you should have taken one of these gloves
- 19:15Speaker 1: you got me for my birthday.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I have to keep those fresh for you.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Sorry, Tom, I how to use one of them.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it was really upsetting. I'm very sensitive to small animals,
- 19:30Speaker 3: even when they're considered like pest or what. Yeah, I
- 19:36Speaker 3: feel that I won't even kill if there's a fly,
- 19:38Speaker 3: I'll try to swat it down without killing it and
- 19:41Speaker 3: then release it outside.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It's trying to get them out of the yeah, like
- 19:44Speaker 1: out the door.
- 19:45Speaker 3: It.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 3: So anyways, next time, you know, if you want to
- 19:51Speaker 3: pick up the pooper not you're not a bad person. Yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 3: you just let her know, be like I really hope
- 19:57Speaker 3: that you didn't think that large.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Pile of poop.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm off, you know, It's not like I'm like chatting
- 20:02Speaker 1: with them daily.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, well then I actually had let to roll
- 20:06Speaker 3: off the shoulders. All right, should we get into mother
- 20:09Speaker 3: in law upset or social posts?
- 20:11Speaker 4: Let's do this. This is from Lindsey.
- 20:13Speaker 5: My eight year old daughter made it to Nationals with
- 20:15Speaker 5: her dance team, and we spent an amazing week celebrating
- 20:18Speaker 5: her and the team. My husband's family came to watch,
- 20:21Speaker 5: but my parents couldn't make it, which was totally fine.
- 20:24Speaker 5: When we got home, I posted photos highlighting my daughter's
- 20:26Speaker 5: big week and how proud it was of her. A
- 20:28Speaker 5: few hours later, my mother in law texted me saying,
- 20:31Speaker 5: you know we were there too. If your family had
- 20:33Speaker 5: been there, he would have thanked them. We don't feel appreciated.
- 20:36Speaker 5: I was honestly shocked because the post was about my
- 20:38Speaker 5: daughter's accomplishment, not who attended. I already thanked everyone throughout
- 20:42Speaker 5: the week in person, so I didn't think a social
- 20:43Speaker 5: media shoutout was necessary. I apologized and even offer to
- 20:46Speaker 5: add photos of them to the post, but she said
- 20:48Speaker 5: no and she just wanted to get it off her chest.
- 20:50Speaker 5: It's been a few days, but I'm still really bothered
- 20:52Speaker 5: by it. Am I crazy for making the post the
- 20:55Speaker 5: way I did? Should I have thanked them publicly? Or
- 20:58Speaker 5: is it weird that this became about them instead of
- 20:59Speaker 5: My thoughts?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Is giving?
- 21:02Speaker 2: Social media makes people so weird?
- 21:05Speaker 3: People's brains, people's brains in the worst way.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'm confused, though, Did I miss something?
- 21:14Speaker 2: What were you confused?
- 21:16Speaker 1: Did the girl who Lindsay, who wrote in in the caption,
- 21:21Speaker 1: did she say something and like thank people for coming,
- 21:23Speaker 1: but didn't thank her in laws?
- 21:24Speaker 3: No, she just said she was highlighting the big week
- 21:27Speaker 3: and that she was proud of her.
- 21:29Speaker 2: But she didn't I guess include that like.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Who was there, like oh and her.
- 21:34Speaker 1: People, and not include them that I could see maybe
- 21:36Speaker 1: them being her like if they said like thank you
- 21:39Speaker 1: to her aunt Sally and her uncle Ben and her
- 21:44Speaker 1: and then uncle Ben and her godmother Susie and her
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah wow wow, very American, I think, And they left
- 21:54Speaker 1: out the in laws, then I could see them being
- 21:57Speaker 1: upset and I would change the caption and put them
- 21:59Speaker 1: in it. But this is so insane.
- 22:03Speaker 5: She's saying like, if your parents had come, you would
- 22:06Speaker 5: have Yeah.
- 22:06Speaker 3: She was basically saying, you would have thanked your parents
- 22:09Speaker 3: in the post, but you didn't think us for being there,
- 22:11Speaker 3: and we don't feel appreciated for our efforts. This sounds
- 22:17Speaker 3: really challenging because she sounds challenging.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah, this so and I.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Think if you can't stop I don't think you need
- 22:25Speaker 3: to say anything like you didn't do anything wrong, and
- 22:28Speaker 3: I don't think you need to feel bad about it.
- 22:30Speaker 3: But I think if if she's this type of personality
- 22:33Speaker 3: and you're feeling like it's sticking with you, maybe you
- 22:37Speaker 3: just say, hey, I was thinking about you know, when
- 22:39Speaker 3: you reached out to me and about the post, and
- 22:41Speaker 3: I just want to say we were so appreciative that
- 22:43Speaker 3: you came, and that doesn't go unnoticed. The post was
- 22:46Speaker 3: specifically about my daughter and be proud of her, and
- 22:50Speaker 3: I wanted that to be the focus, and I wanted
- 22:52Speaker 3: to reiterate that we are so grateful that you came
- 22:55Speaker 3: and we're a part of it, and then you can
- 22:56Speaker 3: move on. Make her feel kind of silly. Yeah, that's
- 23:01Speaker 3: what I would do. I'd be like, yo, this is
- 23:04Speaker 3: about my eight year old daughter's dance.
- 23:06Speaker 5: Colp literally my dad in twenty eleven, he came to
- 23:11Speaker 5: me and sat me down. He's like, I was on
- 23:13Speaker 5: your Facebook page and there's like not a lot of
- 23:14Speaker 5: photos of me on there. And I was like, are
- 23:16Speaker 5: you serious And he's like yeah, like do you not
- 23:18Speaker 5: care about me? And I was like, watch this, this
- 23:21Speaker 5: is how little I care about Facebook. I deleted a
- 23:22Speaker 5: Facebook in front of him to show like, I'm like,
- 23:24Speaker 5: you're making a huge deal about this and it's not
- 23:25Speaker 5: the big of a deal. I deleted Facebook until like,
- 23:28Speaker 5: I don't know, that's why I reactivated it, and it
- 23:33Speaker 5: was like a whole thing. So and I was like,
- 23:35Speaker 5: why does it I don't have there's photos of you
- 23:37Speaker 5: on there, Like, what do you want? What are you
- 23:39Speaker 5: looking for?
- 23:40Speaker 2: It's crazy, whoa, that's so intense, so.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Intense, and it's just social media. It's not that big
- 23:46Speaker 4: of a big of a deal.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I know. Well, I don't think you need to feel bad.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I just think I feel bad for you because I
- 23:54Speaker 1: would literally like poot my pants. I would not like that.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but I do.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I think it's worth like just letting her know it
- 24:01Speaker 3: wasn't even about who was there, it was about your daughter,
- 24:04Speaker 3: and you are appreciative of them making the effort to come.
- 24:06Speaker 3: I think she it seems like what she's really needing
- 24:09Speaker 3: is wanting to feel valued and appreciated. So I think
- 24:13Speaker 3: if you even sent her a text saying thank you,
- 24:16Speaker 3: it will maybe make her feel kind of like, oh
- 24:19Speaker 3: maybe I shouldn't.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Have heard about that.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry that sucked, or.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Have your husband say something like mom, Jill.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it should be talking about this.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Here's an anonymous one. I need to take on a
- 24:34Speaker 5: situation where a friend, my ex and I both share.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Let's call her Emily. My ex broke up with me
- 24:39Speaker 5: almost three years ago, and I've since moved on and
- 24:41Speaker 5: I'm dating an amazing girl. Earlier this year, I brought
- 24:44Speaker 5: my girlfriend to Emily's engagement party. My ex was there
- 24:46Speaker 5: too with her new boyfriend, but she still got really
- 24:49Speaker 5: emotional seeing me with my girlfriend and ended up crying
- 24:52Speaker 5: by the end of the night. A few days ago,
- 24:54Speaker 5: Emily told me she wasn't inviting me to her bachelorette
- 24:57Speaker 5: because she didn't want my ex to have another breakdown.
- 24:59Speaker 5: She said she wanted a drama free day and chose
- 25:01Speaker 5: to invite my ex instead. At the time, I tried
- 25:04Speaker 5: to be the bigger person. I even offered a plan
- 25:06Speaker 5: a second bachelor for the people who weren't invited. But
- 25:08Speaker 5: now some time has passed and realizing how hurt I
- 25:10Speaker 5: actually am. Emily lived with me after her own breakup,
- 25:13Speaker 5: and I was there during one of the hardest times
- 25:15Speaker 5: in her life. It feels like she didn't value our
- 25:17Speaker 5: friendship enough to even have a conversation with me before
- 25:20Speaker 5: making that decision. Now I don't even want to plan
- 25:22Speaker 5: the second bachelorette anymore. Am I wrong for letting it
- 25:25Speaker 5: go and quietly stepping back from the friendship or should
- 25:27Speaker 5: I tell her how I really feel.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I don't think you're wrong for stepping back from the friendship.
- 25:32Speaker 2: It seems like she.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Felt like she had to make a choice, and she
- 25:37Speaker 3: chose somebody else, and I think that it sucks, and
- 25:40Speaker 3: that's like, I think one of the most hurtful things
- 25:43Speaker 3: you can go through is a friend breakup like that.
- 25:46Speaker 3: And I also think that it seems like you're a
- 25:49Speaker 3: better friend to her than she is to you. Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 3: I think you could have a conversation and just let
- 25:55Speaker 3: her know, like, Hey, I I when you first told me,
- 25:58Speaker 3: I wanted to just be a good friend to you.
- 26:00Speaker 3: But as I've been thinking about it, I realize how
- 26:03Speaker 3: hurt I was by that decision that you made without
- 26:05Speaker 3: even having a conversation with me first. And I feel
- 26:08Speaker 3: like I've been a really good friend to you, and
- 26:11Speaker 3: I think I just need to maybe step back from
- 26:13Speaker 3: this friendship because it feels like there's a there's a
- 26:16Speaker 3: difference in how we approach the friendship.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I almost feel like it's not even worth your energy
- 26:21Speaker 1: to have a conversation. To be honest, she made a decision.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It sounds like she's probably gonna be invited to the wedding.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So she made a decision.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It's her decision to make. It's not your decision to make.
- 26:30Speaker 1: So I say you take that, you clock it, and
- 26:32Speaker 1: you move accordingly, moving forward. I think you know, I'm
- 26:36Speaker 1: the ripe age of thirty nine now, so I feel
- 26:39Speaker 1: wiser and it's just smarter. And it's just like, I
- 26:43Speaker 1: can't be ourst. I can't ours. I think it's asked,
- 26:48Speaker 1: can't be asked. It's something to say in Love Island, Ukay,
- 26:51Speaker 1: I can't be ourst.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Sounds a good Scottish accent, but you can't be asked.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah, like I can't be bothered. Oh type of sentiment
- 27:01Speaker 1: is what I think.
- 27:01Speaker 4: I mean that is that is a thing in the
- 27:03Speaker 4: UK can't be arsed.
- 27:05Speaker 2: And that means I can't be bothered.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Uh, it means nobody got time for that.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I gotta be ursed. You just clock it and
- 27:18Speaker 1: move on with your life. If you are obviously a
- 27:21Speaker 1: good friend. Then somebody is going to be appreciative of that.
- 27:24Speaker 1: And you make your decisions when it comes time for
- 27:28Speaker 1: your wedding of who you want to be at your bachelorette.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I just say, clock it, move.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Forward, Maybe maybe match her energy. Maybe that's the advice.
- 27:36Speaker 3: It's not like you can step away as much as
- 27:39Speaker 3: you want. You can have a conversation with you have that.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Conversation so awkward because then like what then she's just
- 27:43Speaker 1: gonna guiltily invite you. Like, no, you don't want that either. Yeah, no,
- 27:48Speaker 1: you do not want that. You cannot be ours for that.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Maybe you move accordingly and you put in the energy
- 27:57Speaker 3: that she's putting into the friendship and just kind of
- 27:59Speaker 3: it's probably going to eventually just fizzle out. Yeah, Or
- 28:04Speaker 3: she might come to you and say, I'm really sorry
- 28:05Speaker 3: for the way I handled things, and I wish I
- 28:07Speaker 3: could do that differently, and y'all can rebuild, but right
- 28:09Speaker 3: now you deserve better as a friend. In my opinion,
- 28:13Speaker 3: I agree. I like this husband has a female best friend.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Oh yes, this is from Sarah.
- 28:19Speaker 5: I need a reality check because my husband and I
- 28:21Speaker 5: cannot agree on this. We recently got married and he
- 28:23Speaker 5: has a female best friend he's known since they were kids. No,
- 28:28Speaker 5: they've always been really close, and I've always had this
- 28:30Speaker 5: gut feeling that she has feelings for him. He's told
- 28:33Speaker 5: me over and over that she's just a friend and
- 28:34Speaker 5: that I'm reading too much into it. The problem is
- 28:36Speaker 5: they still spend a lot of time together one on one.
- 28:39Speaker 5: They'll grab dinner, get drinks, or hang out just the
- 28:42Speaker 5: two of them. Oh And while I completely respect that
- 28:44Speaker 5: they've been friends forever, now that we're married, it just
- 28:47Speaker 5: feels different to me. I've never asked him to end
- 28:49Speaker 5: the friendship, because I would never want to be that wife,
- 28:51Speaker 5: but I have told him about the amount of one
- 28:53Speaker 5: on one time they's been together. It makes me uncomfortable.
- 28:56Speaker 5: He says nothing has changed because we got just because
- 28:58Speaker 5: we got married, and that he shouldn't have to give
- 29:00Speaker 5: up a lifelong friendship. I understand his perspective, but I
- 29:03Speaker 5: also feel like marriage naturally changes certain boundaries. I'm not
- 29:06Speaker 5: asking him to choose between us. I just don't know
- 29:08Speaker 5: if it's unreasonable to expect things look different now. Am
- 29:12Speaker 5: I being unreasonable or am I just being insecure?
- 29:15Speaker 1: This is insane to me.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Should we take a break before we answer, what it ease,
- 29:37Speaker 2: We're back. Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 3: So we have a woman whose husband has a best
- 29:44Speaker 3: friend since childhood. They still spend a ton of one
- 29:47Speaker 3: on one time.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Together dinner, drink, dinner vibes.
- 29:51Speaker 3: And she's brought it up that it makes her uncomfortable,
- 29:54Speaker 3: and the husband thinks she's crazy for feeling this way.
- 29:58Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 29:59Speaker 1: Don tell you something, Sarah, Okay, this is absolutely a
- 30:04Speaker 1: boundary that he shouldn't be crossing. I think it is
- 30:08Speaker 1: so lovely that your husband has friends from childhood. I
- 30:11Speaker 1: love that for him. My husband has friends from childhood too.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Robbie was mister social in high school. He still talks
- 30:17Speaker 1: to like all of his girlfriends from high school. I've
- 30:19Speaker 1: met some of his girlfriends from high school, but he
- 30:23Speaker 1: would never like maybe if he still like text them
- 30:28Speaker 1: every once in a while. They don't get dinner together
- 30:30Speaker 1: one on one. They don't get drinks together one on one,
- 30:33Speaker 1: like even when we There is a dynamic change when
- 30:37Speaker 1: you get married, Like if I'm texting one of Robbie's
- 30:40Speaker 1: guy friends, I'm always looping us in a group text
- 30:43Speaker 1: with him, his wife, me and my husband, Like we're
- 30:46Speaker 1: all four on a chain together, like that's how you move.
- 30:49Speaker 1: In my opinion, when you're married, you don't even if
- 30:53Speaker 1: they're like a sister to you. To me, it's weird
- 30:55Speaker 1: you all three go, or if this person is with someone,
- 30:58Speaker 1: all four of you go, like it just feels very
- 31:02Speaker 1: I would be not cool with it.
- 31:04Speaker 2: I think I agree.
- 31:05Speaker 3: I think it's a just there is a shift when
- 31:08Speaker 3: you choose your partner and.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Get married.
- 31:12Speaker 3: And I think the problem here is that she's communicating
- 31:17Speaker 3: that she's uncomfortable with it, and he's like care does
- 31:20Speaker 3: not care about that, and is calling her crazy for
- 31:22Speaker 3: even feeling that way.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I think that's kind.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Of the bigger issue because I think if he was like,
- 31:27Speaker 3: oh my gosh, you know, I didn't even think of
- 31:28Speaker 3: it like that from your perspective, But that makes so
- 31:30Speaker 3: much sense because if you had a best guy friend
- 31:33Speaker 3: from childhood that you were hanging out with all the time,
- 31:36Speaker 3: that would maybe make me a little bit uncomfortable. And
- 31:39Speaker 3: I think maybe there's a way of saying, I don't
- 31:41Speaker 3: want y'all to not be friends, but maybe you're not
- 31:44Speaker 3: having one on one dinners and maybe she comes over
- 31:47Speaker 3: and we have dinner together. Because I understand she's important
- 31:49Speaker 3: to you.
- 31:50Speaker 1: The only guys I text one on one with are
- 31:53Speaker 1: co workers, Like, literally, what are your thoughts? Easton?
- 31:58Speaker 4: I mean that's just wild. I'm sorry.
- 32:00Speaker 5: Like again, I'm in such a secure relationship. But like,
- 32:04Speaker 5: and I have friends that are women from like high
- 32:07Speaker 5: school and stuff. I would never that that Allison knows
- 32:10Speaker 5: and has known for decades now. I would never go
- 32:13Speaker 5: get dinner with them one on one. That just feels
- 32:15Speaker 5: like drinks drinks. That feels wild. Susie, I don't understand day,
- 32:22Speaker 5: Like what, why do you need to do that?
- 32:25Speaker 4: Like why? I just don't know. I'm sorry.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I don't like, do you need like a best friend
- 32:28Speaker 1: to talk things through with? Because that's what your wife
- 32:30Speaker 1: should be respectfully, Yeah, I think it's off your chest
- 32:38Speaker 1: that should be.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Your wife, Like he is all I have dinner with Susie,
- 32:42Speaker 3: She's like what times should we be ready?
- 32:45Speaker 1: Or like I'm gonna change the locks so when you
- 32:46Speaker 1: get back, you better get sorry.
- 32:50Speaker 3: No, I don't think you're being unreasonable.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I don't think you're being insecure.
- 32:54Speaker 3: I do think men and women can be friends, but
- 32:56Speaker 3: I think there there is a boundary that you have
- 32:59Speaker 3: to set when you are married.
- 33:00Speaker 2: And that things change.
- 33:02Speaker 1: You know what's so funny. Nobody's gonna relate to this.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'm just gonna be talking to myself because it happens
- 33:06Speaker 1: on Love and it happened on Love Island, UK. But
- 33:08Speaker 1: there's this friendship that blossomed on the island between Lorenzo
- 33:12Speaker 1: and Ellie.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Spoiler alert if you're watching, they're not together.
- 33:15Speaker 1: They're not together, and they like love each other. Ellie
- 33:17Speaker 1: decided to leave the villa because her like connection got
- 33:21Speaker 1: vhoted off. So she's like, I'm leaving with him, and
- 33:23Speaker 1: like she's saying goodbye Lorenzo and they're like hugging and
- 33:26Speaker 1: she's crying and they're having this emotional thing and she's like,
- 33:28Speaker 1: I never thought that I could like find a friend
- 33:31Speaker 1: that's just like strictly platonic. And I was like, they're
- 33:34Speaker 1: gonna date at some point? WHOA, yeah, hot take the
- 33:39Speaker 1: next year and a half. There, I think Ellie and
- 33:42Speaker 1: Lorenzo will date each other.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Well, it reminds me of that movie People We Meet
- 33:45Speaker 3: on Vacation because.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Vegas hater of that movie. But basically they me and
- 33:54Speaker 2: then they're best friends.
- 33:55Speaker 3: They go onto vacation every year and then they both
- 33:57Speaker 3: are in relationships, still doing their yearly in case, I'm like,
- 34:01Speaker 3: I loved the movie, but I'm also like that would
- 34:03Speaker 3: never fly and really ever fly? And then the girl
- 34:08Speaker 3: he was dating, who was she was worried about their
- 34:11Speaker 3: connection had every right to be worried.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, sleep with one eye open, Sarah.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I would just say, hey, I want you to be
- 34:22Speaker 3: able to.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Like is she's communicating and she's but.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I care to say like, I think the bigger issue
- 34:27Speaker 3: is that I'm coming to you saying that this bothers
- 34:29Speaker 3: me and you're you don't care, can't.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Be ours for that?
- 34:34Speaker 3: Just say that yes, this is like not use him,
- 34:39Speaker 3: just keep saying he's.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Not paying attention. Then let's get petty and make a
- 34:43Speaker 1: good guy friend and be like, I'm gonna go have
- 34:45Speaker 1: dinner with easthan tonight see a babing. Wow.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Revenge never works well because you don't want to send
- 34:54Speaker 3: him off like.
- 34:56Speaker 1: He's not listening to her. What else is she supposed
- 34:58Speaker 1: to do?
- 35:00Speaker 5: I wonder if Sarah, because she said I don't want
- 35:03Speaker 5: to ask him to end the friendship, but I wonder
- 35:05Speaker 5: if she'd be okay with the friendship continuing. If they
- 35:07Speaker 5: all just spend time together.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I'm sure she would. I'm sure she would.
- 35:12Speaker 3: What if the best friend of this man is listening
- 35:15Speaker 3: to Taylor Swift's ruin the friendship? You never know what
- 35:20Speaker 3: someone's plotting against you.
- 35:24Speaker 1: My guys is always ruined, you.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Know, Like, what if the other girl thinks that there's
- 35:30Speaker 3: gonna be something there if she just goes.
- 35:35Speaker 4: If she's listening to Better Than Revenge.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Sarah, You're not crazy this. He should be able to
- 35:42Speaker 3: have friends, but there should be hard lines and boundaries
- 35:45Speaker 3: to be respectful to you. And that's that's.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Should care how you're feeling. You should care.
- 35:49Speaker 3: About how you feel. That can be ursed for that. Okay,
- 35:57Speaker 3: So the question is do we play a game guess
- 36:00Speaker 3: who the New Way?
- 36:02Speaker 2: Or do we do another Dear Bonya, what's your vote?
- 36:07Speaker 1: I just suck at the game.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I know it's hard, but maybe today's your day.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Maybe you're thirty nine now, yeah, okay, okay, we're going
- 36:15Speaker 3: to try it this New way and we discussed that
- 36:18Speaker 3: you heard discussed at the beginning of the podcast.
- 36:21Speaker 2: We're always here for the interesting stuff.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know what, we are students of the
- 36:25Speaker 1: craft and we also listen to our scrubbers so if
- 36:28Speaker 1: you have some issues with how we do things, please
- 36:30Speaker 1: let us know, because we will.
- 36:32Speaker 5: Of course correct should here I'll play the role of
- 36:37Speaker 5: Mark the game master.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Let me get ok and can you get your names
- 36:40Speaker 1: from Sam? So she makes them both equally.
- 36:44Speaker 4: And I have been communicating this she has names ready
- 36:47Speaker 4: to go. Okay, let me get my post it note?
- 36:50Speaker 2: Rock paper scissors?
- 36:51Speaker 1: Yeah, let's so it's rock paper scissors. Shoot? Yeah, okay,
- 36:55Speaker 1: rock paper scissor? Shoot? Oh she did rock?
- 36:58Speaker 3: Ey?
- 36:58Speaker 2: Did scissors go first or second?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Oh?
- 37:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 37:03Speaker 2: I guess I get to choose.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to go second, So you're first. So
- 37:07Speaker 3: the rule is we're just going to count. We're going
- 37:10Speaker 3: to see who can do Guess there's in the least
- 37:12Speaker 3: amount of questions.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Yeah. So because we listened and we heard that, it
- 37:16Speaker 1: was hard for you all to follow along and play along.
- 37:18Speaker 1: So you have no idea. Who's on my head? This
- 37:20Speaker 1: is Tanya. Let's go. Am I a man? Yes, I'm
- 37:24Speaker 1: a man? Okay? Am I an actor?

- 38:24Speaker 1: know me?

- 38:28Speaker 1: Am I a reality star?
- 38:30Speaker 3: Mm hmmm?
- 38:31Speaker 4: I mean no, I don't think so.

- 38:56Speaker 1: not a pop star. And I'm not a reality star.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Am I a broadcaster? Yes?
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh?
- 39:05Speaker 1: News? Am I news broadcaster?
- 39:07Speaker 4: No? I mean sometimes yeah.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I want to say no, but I wouldn't give my
- 39:14Speaker 1: entertainment broadcaster.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:18Speaker 1: And I'm a man, that's right? Am I married?
- 39:22Speaker 2: No?
- 39:23Speaker 1: No, I'm not. Am I over thirty.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yes?
- 39:27Speaker 1: Am I over forty?
- 39:28Speaker 4: Yes?
- 39:28Speaker 5: Yes?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Am I over fifty?
- 39:31Speaker 4: Yes?
- 39:32Speaker 1: Am I over sixty?
- 39:33Speaker 4: No?
- 39:34Speaker 1: I'm in between fifty and sixty. Yes, according to your calculator.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Am I currently dating somebody?
- 39:45Speaker 3: Not?
- 39:47Speaker 1: No? Is this person a friend of mine?
- 39:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 39:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:55Speaker 1: This person officiate my wedding? Yeah? Am I Ryan Seacrest?
- 39:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:01Speaker 2: Okay?
- 40:02Speaker 1: First of all, he is reality story. I went back.
- 40:08Speaker 4: I didn't think reality. Sorry, I thought rally host.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Oh it's hard.
- 40:14Speaker 2: I mean, like someone said.
- 40:15Speaker 1: I just really I didn't give. I didn't. I wasn't
- 40:17Speaker 1: given acturrate information.
- 40:18Speaker 4: You wouldn't reality.
- 40:20Speaker 3: And I also don't know that you would have gotten
- 40:23Speaker 3: faster with that.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I think I will.
- 40:24Speaker 4: I think it would thrown you off more.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I think.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I think you would have been going down like Love
- 40:28Speaker 3: Island and stuff. So I actually think it saved you
- 40:31Speaker 3: some questions. I got twenty three.

- 41:04Speaker 2: make it fun.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Okay, all right, that could turn away and I didn't
- 41:08Speaker 1: even mark it down to she's gonna get like two
- 41:10Speaker 1: watch I think she'll get under ten.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Am I a woman? Yes? Am I an actress?
- 41:15Speaker 1: No?
- 41:16Speaker 2: Am I a host?
- 41:17Speaker 1: No?
- 41:18Speaker 2: Am I a singer?
- 41:20Speaker 1: Nope?
- 41:21Speaker 2: Am I a reality star?
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yes?
- 41:23Speaker 2: Am I on the Housewives?
- 41:27Speaker 1: Nope?
- 41:29Speaker 2: Am I on a current reality show?
- 41:31Speaker 1: Oh, I'm gonna say yes. I think that's accurate information.
- 41:40Speaker 1: What do you say current in the last couple of months?
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah, like I have been on a reality show recently?
- 41:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, I don't think so in the last few months.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Am I alive?
- 41:53Speaker 3: Yes, I'm getting confirmation on the reality show. I'm getting
- 41:56Speaker 3: two different answers.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Sam clarified that there was a It was a no.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I know, but you can't it's gonna give too much away.
- 42:08Speaker 1: But it's currently airing now. Yeah, Sam says, right, right,
- 42:14Speaker 1: am I under forty? I'm gonna say no.
- 42:18Speaker 4: During the birthday game right on forty?
- 42:20Speaker 3: Oh?
- 42:21Speaker 1: Wow?
- 42:23Speaker 2: Was I on the Hills?
- 42:28Speaker 1: Yes?
- 42:28Speaker 2: Am I a podcast host?
- 42:30Speaker 1: No? Oh? It's annoying.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Was I on Laguna Beach?
- 42:35Speaker 3: Yes? Do I have initials? Elsie and my Lord Conrad?
- 42:42Speaker 1: I have fourteen?
- 42:43Speaker 4: Wow?

- 42:49Speaker 3: Wow?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Congratulations hard Yeah, I thought so too. Yeah, how did
- 42:56Speaker 1: you go from reality start to the hills?
- 42:59Speaker 3: Because I was thinking of shows that you would You
- 43:03Speaker 3: were instantly like, I'm a reality star, but I was thinking,
- 43:06Speaker 3: what if it's y'all went back and forth on the
- 43:09Speaker 3: current thing, and so I was like, you said it's
- 43:11Speaker 3: airing right now, which I think was the reunion.
- 43:13Speaker 2: I'm assuming the reboot. Yeah, the reboot.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Damn.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I thought it was Kristen Cavalari.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yeah. I figured that when you said to a house
- 43:21Speaker 1: a podcast, Wow, well Becca one, what else is new?
- 43:30Speaker 3: Well, let us know if you liked that format, let's
- 43:33Speaker 3: not feel like that or he wants to go back
- 43:34Speaker 3: to the O G way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you all.
- 43:37Speaker 2: That's the end of this episode. That is right.
- 43:40Speaker 1: We love you. We'll see you next week.
- 43:41Speaker 2: We'll see you next week.
