- 0:14Speaker 1: to The Baller Show podcast, available everywhere you get your podcast.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I go by the name of Ferrari Simmons. A young
- 0:19Speaker 1: girl is your vesty, so so sorry for the list.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You have a liner, so my mouth is tight? Liner?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Is it clear? Correct? Or so? Who is it with
- 0:30Speaker 1: our liners? Like their individual invisible braces? Then you have
- 0:34Speaker 1: that before? Yeah, I failed, SOW. I'm back again. I'm
- 0:40Speaker 1: motivated this time for damn Lord little pain o ct
- 0:45Speaker 1: on the ones and two you always are you guys
- 0:48Speaker 1: ready to get started because BT is skipping work today. Yeah,
- 0:50Speaker 1: I got my seat back. Okay. Update on Damar Hamlin
- 0:58Speaker 1: Uh released from the hospital one week after cardiac arrest
- 1:03Speaker 1: from the Cincinnati. He is now headed to the hospital
- 1:06Speaker 1: locally in Buffalo, New York. For him, he's in good
- 1:11Speaker 1: spirits and on the way to back to normal health.
- 1:14Speaker 1: That paying attention to that. He's been tweeting too. He's
- 1:17Speaker 1: been tweeting I saw him a meek mill post um man.
- 1:22Speaker 1: This recovery is like literally immaculate. It is a miracle
- 1:27Speaker 1: that he went from one extreme to where he is now.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I think it's super dupe I'm excited for him because
- 1:32Speaker 1: you'all see that the the medical team got their flowers bills,
- 1:38Speaker 1: they brought them out. Um, that was dope. I ain't
- 1:41Speaker 1: gonn lie my humanitarian and I don't know if that's
- 1:44Speaker 1: a word. Uh, antenna is all the way up. I
- 1:48Speaker 1: am so I get so emotional now about stuff like this,
- 1:51Speaker 1: like just because like I saw that ship on TV.
- 1:54Speaker 1: That ship was so like man, he just went from
- 1:59Speaker 1: lifeless to he's alive. It wasn't for that staff, he
- 2:04Speaker 1: probably would not have been alive right now. We would
- 2:07Speaker 1: have probably seen a few of the guys. That man
- 2:09Speaker 1: is blast. He is sub blast, So salute to him.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And I think he's on recovery to potentially playing again
- 2:17Speaker 1: one day. Yeah, it depends on the way that this
- 2:20Speaker 1: is going. I don't think so. I think he's done playing,
- 2:22Speaker 1: but I do think that they would give him a
- 2:24Speaker 1: job in the NFL. Or do you think that he
- 2:26Speaker 1: wants to play again? It's probably definitely. Don't think that
- 2:32Speaker 1: he would be able to physically, you know, his body
- 2:35Speaker 1: probably couldn't take all that. But I do think that
- 2:37Speaker 1: he would get a job though. In the NFL. Madden
- 2:40Speaker 1: the video game is removing the CPR celebration that used
- 2:43Speaker 1: to be a celebration. A couple of teams didn't. It's normal.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So it has been going on for decades, if you know,
- 2:51Speaker 1: for the players has a long touchdown run a long
- 2:55Speaker 1: interception for a touchdown and they'd be like that they
- 2:58Speaker 1: fake pass out and then the teammate comes and goes who.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So now it's starting to get sensitive and Mad in
- 3:09Speaker 1: the video game has taken out the celebration in the
- 3:11Speaker 1: video game, Yeah, they celebration, they update mad and like
- 3:15Speaker 1: every year, right and it'll be it'll happen. I'm pretty
- 3:18Speaker 1: sure it may have the O t A. If it
- 3:19Speaker 1: happens over right now, they'll see it will be an
- 3:23Speaker 1: update as soon as you log into you account and
- 3:25Speaker 1: may say update features because they will update the celebrations
- 3:28Speaker 1: take it out. I can understand it. I'm just kind
- 3:29Speaker 1: of wondering, like what's going to be left, Like I
- 3:32Speaker 1: like the way that we're going in five years, everything
- 3:34Speaker 1: is going to be inappropriate and sensitive. You can't do this,
- 3:37Speaker 1: like what are they gonna do now? They're just gonna
- 3:40Speaker 1: go and h five each other. You know, you can
- 3:42Speaker 1: barely you can barely even dance now the celebrate the
- 3:45Speaker 1: celebrations in the NFL. It's a lot. Everything's so insensitive
- 3:49Speaker 1: these days. Okay, new Eminem's all female packaging being used
- 3:55Speaker 1: to raise money for women in music? Did you guys
- 3:57Speaker 1: see this that? Do women in music? No know what
- 4:03Speaker 1: I'm saying that I'm talking about the lesbian Eminem's. Are
- 4:08Speaker 1: we talking about? Wait? What eminem all female packaging being
- 4:14Speaker 1: used to raise money for women in music. Eminem's is
- 4:16Speaker 1: honoring remarkable women with all new candy packaging and funding
- 4:20Speaker 1: for several women empowerment services. Okay, I saw something online
- 4:24Speaker 1: about lesbian Eminem's. How about that one? I just think
- 4:29Speaker 1: this is just maybe I'm delusional, but there's something about
- 4:33Speaker 1: lesbian Eminem's. Nothing wrong with Leslian nothing at all. That's
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I was curious, And I was like, you love
- 4:40Speaker 1: the lesbian Eminem's, Like, uh yeah, I just automatically what
- 4:47Speaker 1: you said Eminem's. I just immediately went to the story
- 4:50Speaker 1: of the lesbian Eminem's. Okay, so last week Mars Eminem's
- 4:53Speaker 1: parent company unveiled candy rappers with with a strong message
- 4:58Speaker 1: supporting women flipping status qu oh um, stuff like that.
- 5:02Speaker 1: With the eminem I think that's amazing I do. Okay, yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I don't think Eminem's no lesbian Eminem. So no. Eminem's
- 5:13Speaker 1: launches Volke female only special edition candy featuring lesbian green
- 5:17Speaker 1: and chocolate Eminem's. Okay, lesbian green, got it part of it? Right? Yeah?
- 5:23Speaker 1: I think it's just one of the colors in the pack,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's what you're saying. Yeah, but together they're lesbians. Oh
- 5:30Speaker 1: you're talking about the actual Eminem's are together? Correct? My bad,
- 5:33Speaker 1: because you know the commercial they're relationship, the whole pack
- 5:38Speaker 1: is lesbian no No, no time out. So there's two
- 5:42Speaker 1: things going on. We got the eminem for the women,
- 5:44Speaker 1: right with the message and stuff like that music, right,
- 5:48Speaker 1: but also there's a lesbian Eminem because they have the
- 5:53Speaker 1: eminem commercials and content. Well, you know it's the boy
- 5:56Speaker 1: Eminem's and the girl Eminem's. Now it's it's two girl
- 5:59Speaker 1: Eminem's that like each other. So that's what she was
- 6:02Speaker 1: talking about, So put it on the screen. Okay, Yeah,
- 6:06Speaker 1: that's confused that Okay. Shout out to Scissors. Her albums
- 6:13Speaker 1: holds off Taylor Swifts for the fourth week at number one.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Amazing I just started listening to her first albums, Will
- 6:24Speaker 1: go ahead. What did the d M say, Ferrari, I
- 6:27Speaker 1: shot my shot? What saying I am not? I am
- 6:29Speaker 1: a married man. I'm not repeating what I said. I
- 6:32Speaker 1: did say something in the d M before though, BT
- 6:36Speaker 1: before T she is thick. Did y'all see she? Damn
- 6:39Speaker 1: it broke the internet? Like that girl is sick. She
- 6:43Speaker 1: posted that that little boody shot. I was like, you
- 6:46Speaker 1: know it's thickers. It a snicker, emin am, this is dope.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Though she's definitely dope. She got good vibes to I
- 6:53Speaker 1: interviewed her back when I was at V one O three,
- 6:55Speaker 1: uh first and only time actually, and she got good energy.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Many scissor we Love You Want TD is crazy. It's
- 7:01Speaker 1: just I just love it. Shot out to her team too,
- 7:03Speaker 1: because she always does dope. I remember her. Remember her
- 7:06Speaker 1: song cover was a text message. Yeah, that was a
- 7:09Speaker 1: single before I Hate You. What I really like about
- 7:11Speaker 1: says it's like when you listen to her music, it
- 7:13Speaker 1: is so real, it's so relatable, like and she is
- 7:17Speaker 1: saying things that maybe some people don't know how to say.
- 7:20Speaker 1: They're feeling it, but they don't know how to say it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Turn on the says the album I love the fact
- 7:25Speaker 1: that she texts her time. You know how long we
- 7:28Speaker 1: had to win on this album. Yeah, at least we
- 7:30Speaker 1: got one long time. At least we got one from
- 7:33Speaker 1: says Rihanna, like what the hell are you doing right now?
- 7:39Speaker 1: And you love Asa Rocket, You're getting ready for the
- 7:43Speaker 1: super Bowl. But after that, what else he's gonna do?
- 7:45Speaker 1: She gave you a song for Black Panthers that is
- 7:48Speaker 1: not enough And it was a ballot. It was so slow.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Where I want some violence, I want some fist problem.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I want something reread goddamn it, I don't follow you
- 8:00Speaker 1: from Nathaniel, something that I can listen to for a
- 8:04Speaker 1: long time, longer than thirty five minutes her right, He
- 8:10Speaker 1: say an interview that she's like being a mom, so whatever, Yeah,
- 8:14Speaker 1: not so whatever. Facet it okay? Uh, And we just
- 8:22Speaker 1: found out about green lesbian Eminem's Uh did you guys
- 8:24Speaker 1: see Gucci man his wife post receipts of them paying
- 8:30Speaker 1: for the funeral for Big Scar. First of all, first
- 8:33Speaker 1: and foremost, RP the Big Scar um young guy from Memphis,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Um super dope talent, had had a benefit of talking
- 8:43Speaker 1: to him and um DM me him back and forth
- 8:47Speaker 1: very very early in his career and to see him
- 8:51Speaker 1: turn up. Gucci Man signed him and he was on
- 8:54Speaker 1: the way of being a big emergent talent. Um to
- 8:58Speaker 1: see him, you know that from a drug over. Those
- 9:01Speaker 1: really hurt um Man Man. That's I heard, you know,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I heard it had to right in front of his girlfriend. Well, uh,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you know, things are going out. I believe it was
- 9:10Speaker 1: people saying that Gucci Man didn't pay for the funeral.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Um and his wife posted the receipts of ten thousand
- 9:16Speaker 1: dollars for the frual and ten thousand dollars for the flowers.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Shout out to Kesha Kor. It just seems so crazy
- 9:24Speaker 1: to me that people would go online and try to
- 9:28Speaker 1: blast that so and so didn't pay for this funeral.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Let's just be straight up. No one is obligated to
- 9:35Speaker 1: pay for anyone's funeral, Like literally, no one is obligated
- 9:40Speaker 1: to do this for you, for him. That's the reality.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Like we need to do better as a community. There's
- 9:46Speaker 1: life insurance, there's your own family. Like just because Gucci
- 9:51Speaker 1: has money does not mean that he's obligated to do
- 9:54Speaker 1: any of it. But then for someone to at this point,
- 9:57Speaker 1: it looks like they lied for someone's lie and say
- 10:01Speaker 1: that he didn't pay for it or didn't contribute or
- 10:03Speaker 1: whatever the case is. And there's receipts, and one time
- 10:07Speaker 1: of Big Scars Dad, Big Scars Dad did come out
- 10:09Speaker 1: and say that Gucci Man and Company paid and it
- 10:14Speaker 1: was a miscommunication. So who's the person that that put
- 10:18Speaker 1: it out there that he did? It was one of
- 10:20Speaker 1: his best friends, that Big Scar the rappers, one of
- 10:22Speaker 1: his best friends, and he just he or she just
- 10:27Speaker 1: he tried to pay. And in that part, I don't know,
- 10:30Speaker 1: but that's that's what was circulating. And then text messages
- 10:33Speaker 1: supposedly from the sister. I don't know how accurate that party.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So okay, do you guys think this was for cloud? Like,
- 10:40Speaker 1: why go on social media and say that? I know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: the younger demographic, the younger generations zeers like to take
- 10:47Speaker 1: things to the internet. I hated. I was gonna comment.
- 10:50Speaker 1: My only comment on this story was going to be
- 10:53Speaker 1: certain things should be handled off offline. Um, and this
- 10:57Speaker 1: is something that should have been handled offline. They also
- 11:00Speaker 1: said that Gucci asked for the chain back allegedly. Yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 1: oh that's why the sister said everything's gonna be buried
- 11:09Speaker 1: with her brother. You know, this is such a sensitive topic, man,
- 11:14Speaker 1: and Scar, we lost we lost somebody and um, he's
- 11:20Speaker 1: not coming back. Um, so to even to ask for
- 11:24Speaker 1: something back that fresh into it, I don't know. You know,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I don't know, man, Uh. I just know social media
- 11:32Speaker 1: ain't the place for it to be a definite because
- 11:35Speaker 1: it's circulating, still circulating now as we talk. That sucks.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So the sister said that she was going to bury
- 11:42Speaker 1: her brother with the chain. Correct, that will, but I
- 11:45Speaker 1: don't if that happened. I don't know the funeral has
- 11:47Speaker 1: already happened. I'm not sure if that has happened. So
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Okay, let's say that the family kept
- 11:54Speaker 1: the chain. Do you guys think it would be fair
- 11:56Speaker 1: to give it back to Gucci? Good question, I'd say, yes,
- 12:02Speaker 1: what do you think? I don't know. I think it's
- 12:05Speaker 1: a little tricky, like unless Gucci man says you can
- 12:09Speaker 1: keep him, go ahead. I mean, I think it's if
- 12:12Speaker 1: I feel really indifferent about it because you gave it
- 12:15Speaker 1: to him. It's his now, right like it's his, it's
- 12:18Speaker 1: it's his. So typically what happens when someone passes away,
- 12:22Speaker 1: your family will keep something like that on the flip side.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I think Gucci as a CEO is like I don't
- 12:30Speaker 1: want like I give this to people that are on
- 12:32Speaker 1: my team. I don't want someone who's not on my
- 12:35Speaker 1: team wearing you know, just so I kind of get
- 12:39Speaker 1: that right, Um, tricky place, tricky place, And I don't
- 12:44Speaker 1: And I don't know Gucci man asked for it back.
- 12:49Speaker 1: We know that Kesha said leave my husband alone. No,
- 12:52Speaker 1: we know that question of the day, Oh CT, what
- 12:58Speaker 1: you got for us? Lord? Have Marcy had to get
- 13:01Speaker 1: the get the slave out my liners to suck it
- 13:05Speaker 1: out your liners? All right? So Snoop Dogg recently, uh,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I don't know if he posted it or somebody posted
- 13:11Speaker 1: it to social media. His friends from the eighties and
- 13:14Speaker 1: you are still friends with them today. It was really
- 13:17Speaker 1: cool that kind of like a Lebron Giames and um
- 13:22Speaker 1: childhood friends and their schoolst friends now like kind of
- 13:25Speaker 1: humanizing them, right, Like I think sometimes you think of
- 13:27Speaker 1: like these celebrities or these legends is like they just
- 13:30Speaker 1: moved on left left their old life completely behind. And
- 13:33Speaker 1: it's like no, actually, like my friends of my friends,
- 13:35Speaker 1: my career is my career. Yeah, it's a little left.
- 13:38Speaker 1: So the question is do you all still have childhood
- 13:41Speaker 1: friends or they're still the test of time. Yeah, definitely
- 13:44Speaker 1: shout out to my girls. Susie, we actually fell out
- 13:47Speaker 1: for a couple of years. We didn't talk, and we
- 13:50Speaker 1: reconnected and realized that it was super childish, super petty,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and we just didn't understand each other's perspective perspectives at
- 13:57Speaker 1: that time, and we were able to talk about it.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Didn't it made sense. I received what she said, she
- 14:02Speaker 1: received what I was saying, and we agreed that it
- 14:05Speaker 1: was time lost, like unnecessary time loss. So but yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I've known Susie since we were like eleven. We come
- 14:13Speaker 1: from the same culture. We're both from sigilai. Um. That's
- 14:17Speaker 1: my girl. Lover love you, Susie. No, yeah, I've been
- 14:21Speaker 1: I've been friends with the people I've been friends for
- 14:23Speaker 1: for a very long time. You guys both were at
- 14:27Speaker 1: my wedding, um my rooms coming outside of Jay Rock
- 14:31Speaker 1: uh d C. I've known them since I was eighteen
- 14:37Speaker 1: childhood child. My childhood friends are actually my family members
- 14:41Speaker 1: and my cousins. So yeah, even that you know, like
- 14:46Speaker 1: like elementary school, we were born together. But what I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: saying like friends that are outside of your family, So
- 14:52Speaker 1: my friends. You had my friends with my family members
- 14:55Speaker 1: because we went to school together. So basically, you ain't
- 14:57Speaker 1: got no childhood friends. To the test of time, I
- 15:02Speaker 1: never made friends outside of my cousins like that. Like
- 15:05Speaker 1: I literally my who passed away long lived at Margaret.
- 15:10Speaker 1: She had four boys. That's all my friends. I need
- 15:14Speaker 1: no school. Yeah, but they weren't my best friends. Off
- 15:20Speaker 1: as you grew, you didn't they like boosters, they just
- 15:23Speaker 1: fall off because I never made them my best friends
- 15:25Speaker 1: because my cousins were my best friends. I have twin cousins.
- 15:29Speaker 1: You have to see your cousins every year, right and
- 15:31Speaker 1: thanks getting every day my mom and his mom. And
- 15:35Speaker 1: I'm saying, like her years, I never, I never. I
- 15:38Speaker 1: never detoured from that same like I literally hung out
- 15:43Speaker 1: with my cousins. The only time I had new friends
- 15:45Speaker 1: when I moved to Atlanta and I met su solo,
- 15:48Speaker 1: but I got D C O C T for real
- 15:54Speaker 1: talk and then like a conversation with your mama's like, yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 1: his friends are his cousins. I agree with that. When um,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you moved to a new place, you you don't you
- 16:06Speaker 1: just kind of your friends kind of fall off, and
- 16:09Speaker 1: that I'm I'm a product of that, Um, I don't
- 16:12Speaker 1: really talk to you know, and I'm a military brand too,
- 16:16Speaker 1: so you kind of move from It's just like you
- 16:18Speaker 1: don't really hold on. I mean, I know I got
- 16:21Speaker 1: a sprinkle of people who I talked to, but I
- 16:22Speaker 1: wouldn't say we're friends, you know, because they don't really
- 16:25Speaker 1: know you. They're not in your life every day. You
- 16:28Speaker 1: don't talk to him. So it's kind of like, how
- 16:30Speaker 1: do you nurt your relationship, you know with outside of
- 16:33Speaker 1: people who you see all the time. You know. So
- 16:37Speaker 1: do you think that that moving does it or do
- 16:39Speaker 1: you just think that maybe you're just not aligned. Maybe
- 16:42Speaker 1: like the new experiences that you're having are just not
- 16:44Speaker 1: in alignment with what that friendship was. I think sometimes
- 16:48Speaker 1: life just happens, and you know, life can you know,
- 16:51Speaker 1: make people move exceparate different, separate directions. You grow out
- 16:55Speaker 1: of people. Um. You know, like I had a long
- 16:59Speaker 1: time friend and you know we reconnected, but it's like you, um,
- 17:05Speaker 1: if you don't take time to try to get to
- 17:06Speaker 1: know that person, then it's like what are we doing?
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's you know, so and it's nothing against that person.
- 17:12Speaker 1: They probably are great, great people, but um, you just
- 17:17Speaker 1: know you just grow in different directions. Sometimes they like,
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm literally thinking about my entire life, my time my cousins,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I really didn't have no friends. I was like, damn,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I really don't have no friends. Like the friends I
- 17:31Speaker 1: started having outside of my cousins were came in high
- 17:34Speaker 1: school and then in college. But even with my cousins,
- 17:38Speaker 1: we all went to the same college together. You know
- 17:41Speaker 1: something I realized I have a problem with And I
- 17:43Speaker 1: realized this a long time ago. I have a problem
- 17:46Speaker 1: of letting go of friendships that I know are no
- 17:48Speaker 1: longer in alignment for me. And one thing is I
- 17:51Speaker 1: feel I feel guilty. And then I hate when someone says, oh,
- 17:58Speaker 1: you don't want to be my friend an even or
- 18:00Speaker 1: because you're doing all this other stuff. Now you know,
- 18:02Speaker 1: you've got follows, that you have, your radio, you have that.
- 18:05Speaker 1: And the reality is all those things could be true,
- 18:10Speaker 1: but it doesn't change the fact that we're not aligning. Like,
- 18:12Speaker 1: all of those things could be true. I could be
- 18:15Speaker 1: making new friends, I could be making more money, I
- 18:16Speaker 1: could be having different experiences. All that is true, but
- 18:20Speaker 1: it does not change that we're not connecting the way
- 18:24Speaker 1: that I need us to connect. So I have you know,
- 18:28Speaker 1: we've been talking about things that we want to work
- 18:30Speaker 1: on and all this stuff, and literally I'm just coming
- 18:33Speaker 1: to terms with like I eat ship all the time.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I will take ship all the time because I'm trying
- 18:40Speaker 1: to protect someone else's feelings. I don't want to hurt you.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I feel guilty about it, and I'm realizing that, like
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm getting the shorter end of the stick by doing that.
- 18:47Speaker 1: So now you're choosing yourself like yourself and and I'm
- 18:51Speaker 1: one who is oppositeed at like I'm always looking to
- 18:55Speaker 1: clean up my life. I'm always doing self analysis, Like
- 19:00Speaker 1: I feel like people be there for who they want
- 19:02Speaker 1: to be there for. You know what I'm saying, if
- 19:04Speaker 1: you take time to like if I actually you guys,
- 19:06Speaker 1: you know how you're doing whatever, like that, I genuinely
- 19:08Speaker 1: care about what how you're doing. It's a it's a
- 19:11Speaker 1: give and take my situation. But if I feel like
- 19:13Speaker 1: I'm the only one giving, then I'm going to remove myself,
- 19:17Speaker 1: you know. And that's how I just kind of like
- 19:20Speaker 1: sometimes like after the year or or so many years,
- 19:23Speaker 1: and I'm just looking like like you look in your
- 19:24Speaker 1: call logue, like I don't even talk to this person
- 19:26Speaker 1: or more, let me just clear this person out. I
- 19:30Speaker 1: don't mind doing that. We all need that. Yeah, I
- 19:33Speaker 1: definitely have learned to protect my feelings for sure, because
- 19:36Speaker 1: before I would beef like you're guarded though, Like do
- 19:39Speaker 1: you feel guarded or is there a difference between being
- 19:42Speaker 1: guarded and protecting yourself? I don't know, because I'm always
- 19:47Speaker 1: a helper, right, So I always want to help because
- 19:49Speaker 1: for some reason, I just as I've been blessed to
- 19:52Speaker 1: be able to make some money and have some success,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I want other people to have it too. So if
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm around you, when you're in my space ace and
- 20:00Speaker 1: I get to know you, I just naturally are going
- 20:03Speaker 1: to help and be happy for you, genuinely. So I
- 20:06Speaker 1: found myself over extending myself for people that just be like,
- 20:12Speaker 1: I don't care if you're trying to help me or not.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I don't want any help. And I kind of was like, no,
- 20:16Speaker 1: but you should X y Z or you know. I
- 20:19Speaker 1: kind of was over doing it and I was like them,
- 20:22Speaker 1: but I'm doing too much for people. Let me just
- 20:24Speaker 1: fall back and I help when I can or I
- 20:28Speaker 1: help when it's received, And I just don't do as
- 20:31Speaker 1: much as I used to be and I feel like
- 20:33Speaker 1: it's an energy thing too. I protect my I like
- 20:36Speaker 1: to protect my energy. I have to protect myself, you know.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So it's just like if if you like being in
- 20:43Speaker 1: this business, you come across a lot of self centered
- 20:45Speaker 1: people who are just hakers for themselves, like a bunch
- 20:49Speaker 1: of sharks, and if they smell blood, you toast, you know.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Uh So it's like you have to have a guard up,
- 20:56Speaker 1: you know. And but sometimes when you talk to people,
- 20:59Speaker 1: have conversation is with people, um and they kind of
- 21:02Speaker 1: aligned with your energy, then you're kind of open more
- 21:05Speaker 1: to receiving or giving a little bit more of yourself.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I get that good vibes therapy session. Okay, neither that.
- 21:12Speaker 1: We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of The
- 21:15Speaker 1: Baller Alert Show. Is it love? From the minute I
- 21:20Speaker 1: met you, baby, I knew I wanted to memory the
- 21:23Speaker 1: love of money money. It's love versus money. They say
- 21:28Speaker 1: you can't put a price tag on love. I love
- 21:30Speaker 1: you on the ball Or Alert Show that with the
- 21:35Speaker 1: Brother Alert Show, we got love versus money. I gave
- 21:38Speaker 1: a couple you let me know if they're there for
- 21:40Speaker 1: the love or it's just business, all right? So I'm
- 21:43Speaker 1: not sure how many people watch this show, but love
- 21:48Speaker 1: after lock Up? I didn't love versus Money Monique Robinson
- 21:55Speaker 1: and Derek Warren Jr's there. I've probably spent about thousand
- 22:00Speaker 1: dollars on him. Hey man, look for the pushing. You
- 22:07Speaker 1: know some guys like large women. Um, are you answering
- 22:11Speaker 1: the question right? I'm gonna answer the question. I think
- 22:14Speaker 1: I think there are feelings there on both sides. But
- 22:17Speaker 1: I also think he wouldn't mind getting the hell on
- 22:22Speaker 1: if something better, uh more economically better approaches him. I
- 22:30Speaker 1: think he's making an economical and emotional decision. That's it.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I think he likes her. Do you think that he
- 22:38Speaker 1: likes what she could do for him or what she
- 22:39Speaker 1: is doing for him? Or I do think that he
- 22:42Speaker 1: knows what she can do for him and it's beneficial
- 22:45Speaker 1: for him. I think he I think he made an
- 22:47Speaker 1: emotional and economical decision. So you think he's there for
- 22:52Speaker 1: the money. He likes her and he loves the money.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I think love comes in all different forms, and I
- 22:58Speaker 1: think that every day show, I think people are are
- 23:02Speaker 1: being really mean and they're judging. Yeah, I think people mean.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I think they're talking about her, her physique. I think
- 23:13Speaker 1: I think that's what they're doing sometimes, you guys, people,
- 23:18Speaker 1: love is blind. Love is blind. Now I think she
- 23:22Speaker 1: clearly loves this man. Obviously, you're not doing all of this.
- 23:26Speaker 1: You're not taking care of someone and being their backbone
- 23:29Speaker 1: and all this if you don't really love them. For him,
- 23:34Speaker 1: I think he's trying to grow to love her. Possibly,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and and maybe that's just because I feel like we've
- 23:41Speaker 1: seen this show so many times, and so many times
- 23:46Speaker 1: the person on the outside is being taken advantage of
- 23:49Speaker 1: because the person on the inside needs some support. I
- 23:52Speaker 1: don't know this man. I can't really say I don't.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I don't know too much, but I just had that
- 23:56Speaker 1: mean what y'all saying? Y'all being me real man, I
- 24:00Speaker 1: don't like it his ice. His watch was really icy.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I wonder if he bought it. She bought it. He
- 24:07Speaker 1: ain't buy that ship, just like he ain't buy the
- 24:09Speaker 1: damn meal. He added all that extra stuff on the
- 24:11Speaker 1: tab and said, baby, you got it. I'm gonna take
- 24:14Speaker 1: care of that. We'll be right back with more of
- 24:19Speaker 1: the Baller Alert show. That's a time for baller mail.
- 24:26Speaker 1: First and foremost. Shout out to Ebony over here fan
- 24:28Speaker 1: base for the tea. Dear Baller, I am a day
- 24:34Speaker 1: one fan of the show. My man is definitely doing
- 24:37Speaker 1: something illegal, but I just don't know what it is.
- 24:40Speaker 1: He is currently in between jobs, but somehow comes up
- 24:43Speaker 1: with money to cover things. It was my birthday last
- 24:46Speaker 1: weekend and he took me out to eat fancy restaurant
- 24:49Speaker 1: food and drinks. I was expecting him to maybe ask
- 24:52Speaker 1: me to go half on the bill, but he paid
- 24:54Speaker 1: for it in full and paid our rent for February. Now,
- 24:58Speaker 1: my man ain't the smartest man out. Oh, so I'm
- 25:01Speaker 1: trying to figure out how in the hell is he
- 25:04Speaker 1: paying for all this stuff with no job? Should? How
- 25:07Speaker 1: should I go about this? Need you all advice? Girl?
- 25:10Speaker 1: Just ask that man the question. Y'all doing the booty,
- 25:13Speaker 1: y'all live together. Just ask a question, how are you
- 25:16Speaker 1: getting this money? Because I know you ain't got no money,
- 25:19Speaker 1: You ain't had no money. Where are you getting this
- 25:22Speaker 1: money from? All of a sudden? And you might have
- 25:24Speaker 1: to run? He might be doing some super legal She
- 25:28Speaker 1: might have to leave or put him out if he's
- 25:29Speaker 1: doing something that's putting her at risk. But ask You're
- 25:34Speaker 1: surprised that he didn't asked you to pay for half
- 25:36Speaker 1: your birthday did or you're surprised that he paid the
- 25:38Speaker 1: rent like girl asked the question, Well, I hope they
- 25:43Speaker 1: ain't got no kids. He's probably taking out credit cards
- 25:45Speaker 1: and their names and and are definitely blessed with the
- 25:48Speaker 1: sixth sense. Uh. One of the strongest senses is, y'all
- 25:53Speaker 1: know when somebody's full of ship. You know this man
- 25:55Speaker 1: is full of ship, and you call or you typed
- 25:58Speaker 1: this letter up to strangers ball alert that you don't
- 26:01Speaker 1: even know for us to confirm that this man is
- 26:04Speaker 1: full of ship. Now he an't got no damn job,
- 26:08Speaker 1: and he paid for your meal, and he paid the rent.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I don't know how much the rent is. I would
- 26:14Speaker 1: say that y'all stay together. Y'all probably in a one
- 26:17Speaker 1: to two bearing apartment. I don't hear. I don't hear
- 26:19Speaker 1: no kids in that, So that's fine. You need to
- 26:23Speaker 1: start being nosy, like y'all women's always do. Start paying
- 26:26Speaker 1: attention to what's going on around the house. You see
- 26:28Speaker 1: some credit card devices. Maybe he is doing some online
- 26:31Speaker 1: that he shouldn't be doing. Maybe he is a pimp,
- 26:33Speaker 1: Maybe he is a male stripper. Maybe he is doing
- 26:37Speaker 1: some ship on only fans. I don't know what he's doing.
- 26:40Speaker 1: All I know is he getting to the money's and
- 26:42Speaker 1: you don't know how. What you need to do is
- 26:44Speaker 1: put up the antennas that y'all women got and got
- 26:47Speaker 1: damn search for that ship. Figure it out. Then ask
- 26:49Speaker 1: him and see if he gonna lie to you, because
- 26:51Speaker 1: he's probably gonna lie to you. If not, we will
- 26:54Speaker 1: find out on my truth crime started by Renny. Guys,
- 27:00Speaker 1: they always I mean the people that you at least
- 27:02Speaker 1: think that be doing stuff, be having know what he's doing.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But I ain't gonna say it, okay, the fact that
- 27:08Speaker 1: he all of a sudden has money and it isn't
- 27:10Speaker 1: even communicating to you like, hey babe, I got a job,
- 27:12Speaker 1: Hey babe. Like girl, you clearly are going to have
- 27:16Speaker 1: to ask because he's not gonna tell you. He's not
- 27:17Speaker 1: volunteering on information, and you don't want to have your
- 27:19Speaker 1: hands in there and being accessory to no crime. What's
- 27:22Speaker 1: your job? Because if you do something federal then and
- 27:26Speaker 1: if you're spending the money or not asking any questions,
- 27:29Speaker 1: probably taking your food, can't stamp card and then swapping
- 27:32Speaker 1: in four. She would definitely hunted. She would maybe he's
- 27:37Speaker 1: in charge of getting the groceries, but then work in
- 27:40Speaker 1: the movie. Okay, right now, pep talk, pep talk. First,
- 27:47Speaker 1: I just want to say, man, now when you got
- 27:49Speaker 1: put you in my pocket girl, and just just have
- 27:51Speaker 1: you just make t stand on on the mad She's
- 27:54Speaker 1: so good. Yes, tellous, Right now, we're don't talk about
- 27:58Speaker 1: the feelings again. Why you want to talk about something
- 28:01Speaker 1: you want to say? I mean, he just thought us
- 28:03Speaker 1: he didn't have any friends. I did not say that
- 28:06Speaker 1: with my cousins. My cousins are my friends, and I didn't.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I just realized that as we're talking. Damn, I didn't
- 28:11Speaker 1: make real friends. Hurts. Today's pep talk um comes from
- 28:17Speaker 1: Steve Jobs. He once said, Uh, if you want to
- 28:20Speaker 1: walk fast, walk alone, but if you want to walk far,
- 28:24Speaker 1: walk together. So rory soon. What is your takes on teamwork? Well,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I'm married, so I'm in the ultimate teamwork. Um. We
- 28:33Speaker 1: got baby Mama's as teamwork. Um. I work with you
- 28:37Speaker 1: all as teamwork. Um, A mentor and a dad as teamwork.
- 28:42Speaker 1: It's all. I'm surrounded by teamwork. I just know that
- 28:46Speaker 1: it requires immense communication, understanding, discernment. Um. Here we're gonna
- 28:53Speaker 1: talk about our feelings, trusting people, which I'm not the
- 28:56Speaker 1: best at. Um my my only that I have and
- 29:01Speaker 1: this is a transparent moment. If I know I could
- 29:04Speaker 1: do the job better, I may not trust somebody to
- 29:06Speaker 1: do something. So that's my only issue that I may
- 29:09Speaker 1: have with teamwork. Sometimes, if I could hit by five
- 29:12Speaker 1: threes in a row and I know I can, I'm
- 29:14Speaker 1: not necessarily keen on saying all right here, I'm gonna
- 29:16Speaker 1: pass you the ball, because if you hit three out
- 29:19Speaker 1: of the five and I know I can hit five
- 29:20Speaker 1: out of five, I'm gonna be like, damn, help, I
- 29:22Speaker 1: should have said the shots. But I am learning as
- 29:25Speaker 1: I'm growing, and so solo is my witness. I Before
- 29:28Speaker 1: I make decisions, I don't I call her. Sometimes I
- 29:32Speaker 1: call my wife. Now I use the people around me,
- 29:36Speaker 1: and I'm learning to do things as a team, and
- 29:38Speaker 1: I'm learning to be a better teammate. So yes, being
- 29:41Speaker 1: a team and a teammate, to me, it's way better
- 29:45Speaker 1: than doing things by yourself. And then it's a little
- 29:48Speaker 1: bit more rewarding on my end because it's like, yeah,
- 29:51Speaker 1: because you know, I'm I feel like I'm a really
- 29:53Speaker 1: good cheerleader. You know, if I like, if you guys
- 29:56Speaker 1: are doing something, I love to see other people w
- 30:00Speaker 1: That's one thing I genuinely like. But then sometimes I
- 30:02Speaker 1: have that that tough part where I'd be like, I
- 30:05Speaker 1: can do I can just do it myself sometimes. But
- 30:08Speaker 1: teamwork is definitely better than doing things and walking along.
- 30:13Speaker 1: That was the question, right, Yeah, yeah, I mean it's
- 30:16Speaker 1: a pep talk motivation teamwork. So I don't necessarily think
- 30:21Speaker 1: that teamwork always means fifty Like, I don't think that
- 30:25Speaker 1: that means we both have to equally be doing something
- 30:27Speaker 1: or there's an expectation that you're always going to be
- 30:30Speaker 1: doing something. I think teamwork is really about understanding who
- 30:33Speaker 1: you are in a team with whatever that is, whether
- 30:36Speaker 1: it's an intimate relationship or a family or a co worker.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I think it's really just um supporting people U understanding
- 30:44Speaker 1: their strengths, their weaknesses, being there to support when they
- 30:47Speaker 1: need it, whether it's you know, hey, I'm a better
- 30:51Speaker 1: editor than you are, but you're great with lights, let
- 30:56Speaker 1: me help you with that. Like, I think it's just
- 30:58Speaker 1: it's not always fifty five. And I think that people
- 31:00Speaker 1: want teamwork or they look at teamwork as a thing,
- 31:04Speaker 1: and sometimes you don't realize that you're putting unnecessary pressure
- 31:07Speaker 1: on people because there's this unrealistic expectation of what teamwork is.
- 31:12Speaker 1: So I just think it's more so about understanding who
- 31:15Speaker 1: you're with, how we're working, how we're moving, what the
- 31:16Speaker 1: goal is, and supporting each other and getting to that goal.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Whatever that looks like for you, is an individual and
- 31:23Speaker 1: us together, So Boling Nation. If you want to walk fast,
- 31:28Speaker 1: walk alone, but if you want to walk far, you
- 31:32Speaker 1: got to do it together. I can't get enough of
