Legacy of Toni Morrison: Excerpts from an Interview with Michael DeRell Hill, Professor of Africana Studies at Washington and Lee University
In 2015 I interviewed Michael on my talk show KAZI Book Review about his book The Ethics of Swagger: Prizewinning African American Novels, 1977–1993. Among the books Michael discussed was Toni Morrison's award winning novels, SONG OF SOLOMON (1977) and BELOVED (1987). Enclosed are the excerpts from the interview which focused on Toni Morrison.
