- 0:03Speaker 2: We've been frenzy for a long time. You've been a
- 0:05Speaker 2: long time. In fact, I remember I know Rich brought
- 0:08Speaker 2: it up earlier, but when you played in Tucson. I
- 0:09Speaker 2: don't know if you remember this. Do you remember who
- 0:11Speaker 2: you performed with? Tell me that it was in a
- 0:14Speaker 2: Bowlie Alley. It was you and Bieber.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Oh, that's yeah, remember that.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Yeah, at that time it was I was I felt
- 0:22Speaker 4: like I was on tour with Bieber, I was on
- 0:23Speaker 4: tour with Kesha, like it was like a group of us,
- 0:26Speaker 4: and yeah, every single radio thing we did was all together.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And by the way, with that, I want to thank
- 0:31Speaker 2: you for coming in here because I think with the
- 0:34Speaker 2: the way music has evolved now, with all this online
- 0:37Speaker 2: streaming and downloading and stuff, a lot of artists kind
- 0:41Speaker 2: of go, oh, I don't need to go in radio.
- 0:43Speaker 1: So I think it's really freaking cool that you came
- 0:45Speaker 1: in there. Like I have mad like if.
- 0:47Speaker 2: You ignore us for the rest of your career, I
- 0:49Speaker 2: will still have mad respect for me even though you
- 0:52Speaker 2: were thirty minutes later. Today, I love the new song
- 0:58Speaker 2: I'm honest to God, love your commitment to radio because
- 1:01Speaker 2: I still think I talked to it. I still think
- 1:03Speaker 2: hearing your song in the radio is still powerful, still impactful.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's still magic, right hearing your.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Song on the radio for this, And you know, I'm
- 1:12Speaker 4: so very thankful of you guys and what you've done
- 1:15Speaker 4: for me over the last seventeen years. I mean, it's
- 1:17Speaker 4: been an incredible journey, and radio has been at the forefront,
- 1:21Speaker 4: so to me, you know, just because the world has
- 1:24Speaker 4: moved in a certain way does not change. Uh, you
- 1:27Speaker 4: know how thankful I am and how honored I am
- 1:30Speaker 4: to be here. You know, I love being able to
- 1:32Speaker 4: deliver a brand new song and say, hey, this is
- 1:34Speaker 4: my brand new song and be able to look at
- 1:35Speaker 4: you guys in the eyes and say, you know, thank
- 1:37Speaker 4: you very much.
- 1:38Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:38Speaker 2: So now with that, Jason Derulo, our producer Nick over
- 1:42Speaker 2: here is put together a special Jason Derulo game.
- 1:45Speaker 1: But it's just for you. We're not allowed to play.
- 1:47Speaker 1: We're just gonna have fun listening.
- 1:48Speaker 3: The music is a little nerve wrecking.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Well, just get ready because I'm the king of stupid
- 1:54Speaker 5: games and this is maybe the worst one.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:58Speaker 5: I call it Jason. Everybody has like artists have their
- 2:06Speaker 5: like tags, right, and what's Jason? I hold some of
- 2:15Speaker 5: those clips? Uh huh, and we're gonna play him for
- 2:17Speaker 5: you and you tell me which song it's from.
- 2:23Speaker 3: So these are going to be classics because he hasn't
- 2:24Speaker 3: done this in a hot minute.
- 2:25Speaker 5: So get ready because here comes clip one, so loud.
- 2:33Speaker 4: So what song is that that is in my head?
- 2:38Speaker 3: That is in fact in my head? One from one?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Clip too.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Well, I know that one. If you don't, that's want
- 2:51Speaker 3: to want me?
- 2:54Speaker 5: Survey says yes, yes, Jason, he's so good at his
- 3:02Speaker 5: own game. Clip three, that's talk dirty.
- 3:13Speaker 3: You're nervous that he's nervous.
- 3:16Speaker 1: He's like, if I get this wrong, it's like Sonny clips.
- 3:21Speaker 5: And also adding it to my playlist was like, oh my.
- 3:23Speaker 3: God, thank you man.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Clip four.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Savage Love.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Savage Love is exactly what we're looking for. Yes, all right,
- 3:38Speaker 5: you go on defeat in this game. This is the
- 3:40Speaker 5: last one. Okay, here we go, Billy Jean.
- 3:51Speaker 3: He's so close, so close.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Of course, we're looking for what you say you got.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I was almost.
- 4:02Speaker 1: That was fun, Jason, du what's been more successful for you?
- 4:06Speaker 4: Like?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Because your music career is massive, right, I mean just
- 4:09Speaker 2: going over some of these songs that you've done in
- 4:10Speaker 2: your career. Everybody knows these songs, but then you blew
- 4:14Speaker 2: up on the TikTok social media world, right, So what
- 4:18Speaker 2: what has been? What's what's made you more money? Social
- 4:21Speaker 2: media or record business?
- 4:22Speaker 4: Between between the two, I mean, it's it's hard to compare.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I mean, at one point, I was I was making
- 4:29Speaker 4: like a million dollars a post, the most as a male.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I think I was pulling in the most out of
- 4:37Speaker 4: any mail in the world on social media. Just think
- 4:40Speaker 4: about like during the pandemic, like I was, I was
- 4:44Speaker 4: getting about a billion views every three days on my TikTok,
- 4:50Speaker 4: So it was like, really really it.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Was really compelling, fun stuff to watch though, So it
- 4:54Speaker 2: was like it was like everybody went to the Jason
- 4:56Speaker 2: Derrillo stuff.
- 4:58Speaker 4: So so with that being said, still with selling over
- 5:03Speaker 4: two hundred and fifty million records, it's.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Definitely still music.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Wow, that's a lot of records. But if you count
- 5:08Speaker 1: a lot of money.
- 5:09Speaker 4: But now if you can start counting the business world,
- 5:12Speaker 4: I've been very lucky on the business side.
- 5:14Speaker 3: So that's a different conversations.
- 5:17Speaker 1: What are you doing.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Let's get into that.
- 5:21Speaker 4: So yeah, I do real estate, yes, but my most
- 5:26Speaker 4: concrete successful business is Rocket car Wash.
- 5:30Speaker 3: It's a chain of car washes in America.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Is it do it yourself?
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yes, I have a partner myself, but it's like no,
- 5:37Speaker 2: but it's like the car wash you go and you
- 5:39Speaker 2: do like spray yourself.
- 5:40Speaker 1: No no, no no no.
- 5:41Speaker 4: It's actually like a more of a luxury car wash.
- 5:45Speaker 4: So it's like a more upscale like a detail. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 4: more upscale detail. There's lights, LEDs. It feels like Las Vegas,
- 5:53Speaker 4: you know.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Rocket car Wash, Rocket Are they all over the country,
- 5:56Speaker 2: all over the country yet, Wow, that's very cool.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Well, thanks again for hanging with this.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Of course, of course any time,
