- 0:14Speaker 2: This is the Best of Stugatz & Company live on
- 0:17Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm saying this as we head into
- 0:23Speaker 1: a football weekend, but we're going to start today with baseball.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We have a story from Mikey A., the Yankee game
- 0:29Speaker 1: last night. There is a great Vlad Guerrero Jr. quote
- 0:33Speaker 1: that we want to get into as well. But Mikey,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I will tell you this. Yesterday, I told the audience
- 0:38Speaker 1: that you and I, We got into a fight, and
- 0:40Speaker 1: I kicked you out because you're upset we're not on SiriusXM,
- 0:43Speaker 1: and I'm still a believer in AM radio, and I
- 0:45Speaker 1: believe in the listeners of this show. And I proved
- 0:48Speaker 1: to you, because you were upset, you know the reason
- 0:51Speaker 1: that I came back to radio. I wanted to interact
- 0:55Speaker 1: with our listeners, with my listeners. doing this over two decades, right?
- 1:00Speaker 1: And we don't really solicit calls. It's not the kind
- 1:03Speaker 1: of show we do. But I did come back to
- 1:06Speaker 1: take phone calls, and Mikey A. was questioning whether or
- 1:09Speaker 1: not anyone was listening to our show because every time
- 1:11Speaker 1: I give out the number, no one would call in.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So yesterday— and it's all in the messaging, Mikey A.— Yesterday,
- 1:17Speaker 1: I explained to them I crawl through a river of
- 1:20Speaker 1: podcasts just to get to these people at 3 o'clock
- 1:23Speaker 1: in the afternoon so I could talk to the listeners
- 1:26Speaker 1: of this radio program and every line lit up.
- 1:30Speaker 3: How about that?
- 1:32Speaker 4: Maybe it's me. Maybe they don't want to talk to me.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Maybe because because I was dead set. I was sure
- 1:38Speaker 4: that we weren't getting the calls.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 4: And we've thrown out the number and the phone lines
- 1:43Speaker 4: never lit up.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:44Speaker 6: And then you said, Mike, get out. Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 3: So I left.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:48Speaker 6: And you call you throughout the number and you sent
- 1:51Speaker 6: me a picture. Lines were lit up. Yes.
- 1:54Speaker 1: What I told them was, hey, we don't want to
- 1:56Speaker 1: run anything that's taped. We want to give you fresh material.
- 1:59Speaker 1: But I did come back to take phone calls. And
- 2:02Speaker 1: if you guys call in every single day, talk about
- 2:04Speaker 1: whatever you want.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I will do this live every single day. I won't
- 2:09Speaker 1: tape a single thing except for today.
- 2:14Speaker 7: So I say this respectfully. Respectfully, the guy that called in,
- 2:19Speaker 7: because I was listening to the show when I got
- 2:22Speaker 7: kicked out, the guy that called in and said he
- 2:25Speaker 7: doesn't want the Yankees to win a World Series if
- 2:27Speaker 7: it meant Aaron Judge wasn't on the team to have
- 2:31Speaker 7: them win the World Series.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I laughed at him.
- 2:32Speaker 7: You're not a Yankee fan yet. Give me your Yankee
- 2:34Speaker 7: fan card.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Oh, you're not a Yankee fan. You're an Aaron Judge fan.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yes. Were you jealous?
- 2:39Speaker 1: You've been waiting for that call your entire life, and
- 2:41Speaker 1: yet I kicked you out when that.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Call came in.
- 2:43Speaker 7: So, Stu, when that call came in and the guy
- 2:46Speaker 7: finished his question, what I did was turn the dial
- 2:49Speaker 7: down in my car, and I just answered the question.
- 2:52Speaker 7: I didn't even want to hear your response.
- 2:53Speaker 6: Yes.
- 2:55Speaker 3: You were hosting your own show in the car. You
- 2:57Speaker 3: didn't care what I had to say. You only cared
- 3:00Speaker 3: what you had to say. I turned it down.
- 3:02Speaker 7: I said, thanks for the call. You're not a Yankee fan.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oh, that is so good.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Brady Quinn going to join us in about 10 minutes
- 3:09Speaker 1: or so. Speaking of the Yankees, Mikey, you were at
- 3:12Speaker 1: a Yankee game last night. You sent us a text
- 3:15Speaker 1: that made me smile.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Tell everyone what happened last night.
- 3:19Speaker 4: So it was a strange, it was a strange kind
- 3:22Speaker 4: of thing being at this Yankee game.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Cause I don't get to go very often.
- 3:26Speaker 4: And I was looking around and I was like, this,
- 3:28Speaker 4: this isn't the Yankee games of my childhood. This is weird. There's,
- 3:32Speaker 4: there's a woman over there. She's dressed in a dress
- 3:35Speaker 4: eating sushi. I was like, wait a minute. this isn't
- 3:39Speaker 4: a baseball game. They did no roll call. Every player's
- 3:42Speaker 4: got a beer. George Steinbrenner would be losing his mind.
- 3:45Speaker 4: And I was kind of feeling bad about it.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I was like, you know what? I don't know if
- 3:48Speaker 6: I want to be here anymore.
- 3:50Speaker 4: And I, I walked up to the concession stand to
- 3:53Speaker 4: get myself to get myself a beer, get my, my
- 3:56Speaker 4: son a pretzel.
- 3:58Speaker 6: And the guy goes, and he points at me and
- 4:00Speaker 6: he goes, Hey, I go, hi. And he's like, uh,
- 4:05Speaker 6: all right. So that's a beer and a pretzel. I said, yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 4: And he comes back and he hands me two of
- 4:09Speaker 4: those souvenir cups with ice cream.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Wow.
- 4:11Speaker 4: And I was like, I didn't order this. And he goes,
- 4:14Speaker 4: love the show. That's that New York market.
- 4:19Speaker 3: That is special.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 4: I didn't walk back to my seat after that. I
- 4:25Speaker 4: floated back. I floated back. Because of all the years
- 4:30Speaker 4: I've been doing this, for it to culminate in me
- 4:33Speaker 4: getting a free ice cream for me and my son
- 4:36Speaker 4: in front of him.
- 4:37Speaker 6: It's been worth it.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Your son's never been so impressed.
- 4:42Speaker 7: And you know for sure that guy's a listener of
- 4:45Speaker 7: the show because he gave Mikey ice cream.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Well, no, I thought there was going to be a
- 4:49Speaker 1: punchline like, hey. You look like a guy who collects these.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Taylor gave me the chocolate vanilla swirl too.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Wow. Wow.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Naturally.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Wow.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Do you guys, do you keep the, you keep the
- 5:01Speaker 1: helmets every single time?
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:04Speaker 6: No, not me.
- 5:05Speaker 3: My kid does, but, but those were special.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Those are special.
- 5:09Speaker 6: Taylor.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Oh yeah. They're absolute. We, we, we brought those home.
- 5:12Speaker 6: We brought those home.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Good.
- 5:14Speaker 6: I think if it was Taylor, he would've gotten sprinkles.
- 5:16Speaker 6: I just know my pecking order.
- 5:17Speaker 7: And a little Shirley.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Taylor gets sprinkles. Stu Gatz gets a little whipped cream
- 5:21Speaker 6: and a cherry.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Where does that rank for you in terms of impressing
- 5:26Speaker 1: your kid? Has your kid ever been more impressed than
- 5:28Speaker 1: he was last night?
- 5:30Speaker 4: I don't think he grasped it. I think he was
- 5:32Speaker 4: just like, oh, dad bought me an ice cream. I
- 5:34Speaker 4: was like, no, I didn't buy this. This was given
- 5:36Speaker 4: to us because daddy's special.
- 5:38Speaker 1: And you floated back to your seat. What a great evening.
- 5:43Speaker 1: What a special night for you. Did the Yankees win?
- 5:46Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 5:47Speaker 6: They did.
- 5:48Speaker 4: They hit a grand slam. One guy hit two home runs.
- 5:51Speaker 4: It was everything you'd want a baseball game to.
- 5:53Speaker 6: Be after that.
- 5:55Speaker 1: What is going on here, Taylor, with Vlad Guerrero Jr.?
- 5:58Speaker 1: I love this story. He ain't taking any of it back.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Tell the listeners what Vlad Guerrero Jr.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Had to say. We can't play it for you because
- 6:09Speaker 3: he did it in Spanish.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Correct.
- 6:11Speaker 7: So Vlad Guerrero Jr. opened up on his slumps this
- 6:14Speaker 7: season for the Toronto Blue Jays, and his quote was,
- 6:17Speaker 7: they didn't pay me to hit 40 every year. They
- 6:20Speaker 7: paid me for what I already did. I want people
- 6:23Speaker 7: to understand one thing. The money they gave me wasn't
- 6:25Speaker 7: for what I'm going to do. It's for what I
- 6:28Speaker 7: already did.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I mean, it'd be ridiculous to pay him that amount
- 6:33Speaker 1: of money for what he's currently doing.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Woof.
- 6:40Speaker 7: He has one home run at home. So I want
- 6:43Speaker 7: to give Vlad Guerrero Jr. the benefit of the doubt
- 6:46Speaker 7: because he's speaking in Spanish and you're wondering like maybe
- 6:49Speaker 7: the translation is getting lost with whatever he's saying.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Right.
- 6:53Speaker 7: But I know somebody who speaks Spanish and was like, no,
- 6:55Speaker 7: like Vlad Guerrero, what he said, he said it with
- 6:58Speaker 7: his chest. Like he meant every word he said.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:00Speaker 7: So you're looking at him now and it's like, Vlad,
- 7:03Speaker 7: like this is the one thing you can't say as
- 7:06Speaker 7: a professional athlete.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:07Speaker 1: What's the contract right now for Vlad Guerrero Jr.? It's
- 7:10Speaker 1: like four hundred and twenty five million dollars.
- 7:12Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Something like that. I mean, which is exactly why there's
- 7:15Speaker 1: going to be a lockout soon.
- 7:18Speaker 4: I mean, while Taylor looks that up, I could tell
- 7:21Speaker 4: you he's hitting 263 with nine home.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Runs and 56 RBIs. Yeah, so, Stu, his contract is
- 7:25Speaker 6: a historic 14-year, $ 500 million contract extension.
- 7:28Speaker 7: It keeps him in Toronto through the 2039 season.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Wait, so what was Vlad Guerrero getting paid when he
- 7:46Speaker 1: was playing well, when he was actually a threat?
- 7:48Speaker 3: And keep in mind, this is a team that probably should.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Have won the World Series last year, and he was
- 7:53Speaker 1: fantastic the entire season and great in the postseason. But
- 7:57Speaker 1: what was he being paid before he signed that extension,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm wondering?
- 8:01Speaker 7: So he's been getting a good amount the past couple
- 8:05Speaker 7: of years.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 8:06Speaker 7: This says he avoided arbitration in 2025, and it looks
- 8:10Speaker 7: like he got $ 48 million.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:12Speaker 7: And now the contract extension is kicking in, and it's
- 8:14Speaker 7: basically $ 30, $ 35 million, and it keeps going up. But
- 8:19Speaker 7: before that, when he was coming up with the Blue Jays- Right.
- 8:22Speaker 7: It was like $ 7 million, $ 14 million, $ 19 million. It
- 8:25Speaker 7: was kind of scaling up that way.
- 8:26Speaker 1: So he gave them very good years on the cheap, essentially.
- 8:29Speaker 1: There are very few Bryce Harpers out there who get
- 8:32Speaker 1: the big contract right away.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Not everyone.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Aaron Judge. Well, no, it took Judge a while, actually,
- 8:38Speaker 3: before he got the big contract.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So how do you feel about the comments here of
- 8:42Speaker 1: Vlad Guerrero Jr.? What he's saying is, hey, I gave
- 8:45Speaker 1: them some great years. They weren't paying me nearly enough.
- 8:49Speaker 1: The $ 500 million contract I just signed makes up for
- 8:53Speaker 1: what they weren't paying me when I was having good seasons.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It's not about what I do in the future. It's
- 8:57Speaker 1: about paying me back for what I've already done.
- 9:00Speaker 7: As a sports fan, if I'm a Blue Jays fan,
- 9:02Speaker 7: this is the last thing I want to hear from
- 9:04Speaker 7: somebody who's supposed to be my franchise pillar, my franchise cornerstone.
- 9:08Speaker 7: when you get a name like Vlad Guerrero Jr., and
- 9:11Speaker 7: especially coming off a World Series appearance, if you're the
- 9:14Speaker 7: Blue Jays, they've been the biggest disappointment in baseball this year,
- 9:18Speaker 7: where they are in dead last in the AL East,
- 9:20Speaker 7: and they're five games under. 500, and your MVP candidate
- 9:23Speaker 7: player is... is saying things like, don't worry about my performances.
- 9:28Speaker 7: You're not paying me for what I do in the future.
- 9:30Speaker 7: You're paying me for what I did in the past. Yes,
- 9:31Speaker 7: he feels like he was owed money. But was he,
- 9:35Speaker 7: is what I'm asking you guys.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Because he did perform at a very high level, and
- 9:40Speaker 1: he wasn't playing for a lot of money, you know?
- 9:42Speaker 7: This is what I've said, though, in the past, like,
- 9:45Speaker 7: I am bashing Vlad Guerrero Jr., but if I was
- 9:48Speaker 7: in the MLB, I would be Vlad Guerrero Jr. I
- 9:51Speaker 7: would be the Anthony Rendon's. When Anthony Rendon has a
- 9:55Speaker 7: career year for the Washington Nationals and he goes to
- 9:58Speaker 7: the LA Angels offensively, on a massive deal.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Never hear from him again.
- 10:02Speaker 7: The second he got to L.A., Stu, Anthony Rendon was like,
- 10:04Speaker 7: I'm not even going to really practice anymore. I'm not
- 10:07Speaker 7: going to show up. I'm just going to collect my
- 10:09Speaker 7: check because baseball is all guaranteed money. And I think
- 10:11Speaker 7: the point you mentioned, this is why we're heading towards
- 10:14Speaker 7: a lockout where if you're the Blue Jays and you're
- 10:16Speaker 7: stuck with all this guaranteed money and you have Vlad
- 10:19Speaker 7: Guerrero Jr. with this mindset, you're probably wishing... Once we
- 10:23Speaker 7: get to 2037 and 2038, I wish this guy's money
- 10:27Speaker 7: wasn't guaranteed.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Or maybe now.
- 10:31Speaker 6: Or maybe 2026.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Or next season, the following season. But he's going to
- 10:36Speaker 3: be good again, right? You guys have no doubt. He's
- 10:39Speaker 3: having a bad year. It's baseball. I understand that.
- 10:41Speaker 1: It is rare to see a guy have this kind
- 10:44Speaker 1: of talent be so bad for so long.
- 10:46Speaker 3: But he's been that bad for this long. But he
- 10:48Speaker 3: will be good again. I mean, he's not terribly old,
- 10:52Speaker 3: is he?
- 10:53Speaker 7: No, he's only 27.
- 10:55Speaker 3: That's prime, man.
- 10:56Speaker 7: Yeah, you would think with the history that he has
- 11:00Speaker 7: that he will bounce back.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Mikey, what are your thoughts here? I mean, it's funny.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Listen, he is being paid for what he is supposed
- 11:08Speaker 1: to do over the next decade. I think they're fine
- 11:11Speaker 1: if in 2035 he kind of goes the other way
- 11:14Speaker 1: because he's getting.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Up there in age.
- 11:15Speaker 1: But right now at 27, yes, they paid Vlad Guerrero.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Maybe there's a part of them that said to themselves,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you know what? We kind of do owe this guy
- 11:24Speaker 1: money for performing at such a high level and playing
- 11:27Speaker 1: for such a low salary for a few years. But
- 11:30Speaker 1: what they are paying Vlad for is not the past.
- 11:33Speaker 1: It's for the future.
- 11:34Speaker 6: I mean, it is.
- 11:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 6: It's it's absolutely.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Just such a bad look and then they came out
- 11:40Speaker 4: and he said they asked him again like hey did
- 11:43Speaker 4: you did you mean that or did you were you
- 11:45Speaker 4: just angry or the interpreter he said no i don't
- 11:48Speaker 4: regret myself i'm not lying with what i say i
- 11:51Speaker 4: understand some fans they don't understand the way and what
- 11:54Speaker 4: i was trying to say specifically but what i said
- 11:57Speaker 4: is the way i feel he essentially said no i
- 12:03Speaker 4: said i i'm not going to be very good going
- 12:06Speaker 4: forward because i'm getting paid for what i did he double.
- 12:09Speaker 7: Downed yes the rare player with more double downs than doubles.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Put it on the pole is vlad guerrero jr the
- 12:18Speaker 1: rare player with more double downs than doubles be sure
- 12:23Speaker 1: to catch.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Live editions of stew gods and company Live weekdays at
- 12:27Speaker 2: 3 p.m. Eastern, 12 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
- 12:31Speaker 2: and the iHeartRadio app.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It is Thursday, and we like to think on a Thursday,
- 12:38Speaker 1: so give me the imaging because it's a Think About
- 12:40Speaker 1: It Thursday.
- 12:43Speaker 2: You know that segment, Talk About It Tuesday on Hockman, Crowder,
- 12:47Speaker 2: and Solero? This is like that, but bigger and better.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And 48 hours later, this is Think About It Thursday.
- 13:00Speaker 1: This is Taylor's attempt to counter-program a local show down
- 13:03Speaker 1: here in South Florida, Hockman, Solero, and Crowder.
- 13:07Speaker 3: What do you have for us today, Taylor? You laugh
- 13:09Speaker 3: every time I say Solero. Yeah, Solano. I do it purposely.
- 13:15Speaker 7: So this one is in honor of Joe Buck's massive
- 13:20Speaker 7: contract extension at ESPN.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Wow.
- 13:22Speaker 7: Six years, $ 108 million contract extension. Joe Buck, friend of
- 13:26Speaker 7: the show. It would be nice if we could get
- 13:28Speaker 7: a couple of M's maybe.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Are they paying him for past performance or future?
- 13:32Speaker 7: All future. And nobody is better than Joe Buck.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Oh, nobody. Kidding me? Except Sean McDonough.
- 13:37Speaker 7: But that actually brings us to the Think About It Thursday,
- 13:41Speaker 7: because I saw a post on FanDuel.
- 13:42Speaker 6: Yep, Stu?
- 13:43Speaker 3: Let me take that back. Push. McDonough, Joe Buck. There
- 13:46Speaker 3: are two favorites.
- 13:47Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 13:47Speaker 3: And Mike Breen. And Kenny Albert.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Stu.
- 13:52Speaker 7: FanDuel puts up a post.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yes.
- 13:54Speaker 7: Save two announcers. The rest are gone forever.
- 14:00Speaker 3: They have oh wow they.
- 14:03Speaker 7: Have nine announcers in this graphic so we're gonna go
- 14:06Speaker 7: around the room here i'm gonna read the announcer time out.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Just slow down for a second okay because this has
- 14:10Speaker 1: been a topic i've been waiting for my entire life
- 14:12Speaker 1: okay so just can you can you set it up
- 14:15Speaker 1: again just quick i need to hear it again.
- 14:17Speaker 7: There was a post on social media from fanduel yes
- 14:20Speaker 7: save two announcers The rest are gone forever.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Okay.
- 14:25Speaker 1: So two announcers who are going to call all the
- 14:27Speaker 1: games for the remainder of time.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yep.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:30Speaker 7: And not calling the games together, but maybe if you're
- 14:32Speaker 7: watching a basketball game, you're like, I want this guy
- 14:34Speaker 7: to call this. If you're watching a football game. Somebody
- 14:36Speaker 7: else call this. Or maybe you just want to alternate
- 14:39Speaker 7: weeks so you don't get tired of the same person.
- 14:40Speaker 3: So it's only play-by-play, guys. It's not analysts?
- 14:43Speaker 7: It's only play-by-play, guys.
- 14:44Speaker 3: All right, so we get two.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Wow.
- 14:46Speaker 7: The nine names.
- 14:47Speaker 6: I hate this so much.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I got to write them down. So do I. Right.
- 14:50Speaker 3: We're going to have to leave someone off that we like.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Damn it.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Go.
- 14:53Speaker 4: You're going to have to read seven off that you like.
- 14:57Speaker 7: The nine names listed, everybody.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:00Speaker 6: I'm writing them down.
- 15:01Speaker 7: Mike Breen.
- 15:02Speaker 6: Breen.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Jeez.
- 15:03Speaker 3: He's great.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Mike Tirico. Hello, friends.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Jim Nance.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 15:13Speaker 7: This is tough.
- 15:15Speaker 6: I want to keep those three.
- 15:18Speaker 7: And you can only save two.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I don't want to just have two.
- 15:21Speaker 7: The next three.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Yes.
- 15:23Speaker 7: Kevin Harlan.
- 15:24Speaker 6: Harlan. Wow.
- 15:26Speaker 7: Jason Bonetti.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Jesus.
- 15:29Speaker 7: Al Michaels.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Do I get Al Michaels how he is now, or
- 15:34Speaker 4: do I get Al.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Michaels of all time? He is definitely getting paid for
- 15:38Speaker 3: past performance.
- 15:39Speaker 4: I will tell you right now, I love Al Michaels.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I think he is one of the best to ever
- 15:44Speaker 4: do it. But if I'm paying going forward.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Sorry, Al.
- 15:47Speaker 7: Past Performance Hall of Fame.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I've already crossed him off, yes. Past Performance Hall of Fame,
- 15:52Speaker 1: him and Vlad Guerrero.
- 15:54Speaker 7: The next three names to complete the nine.
- 15:57Speaker 6: Okay.
- 15:57Speaker 7: Gus Johnson.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Wow.
- 15:59Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 16:01Speaker 7: Iron Eagle.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Ooh.
- 16:03Speaker 7: The bird and then joe buck.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna go wow this is tricky because mike breen
- 16:13Speaker 1: i mean i'm certain all these guys can call any
- 16:15Speaker 1: sport and do it very very well but he's a
- 16:17Speaker 1: he's a basketball guy um i'm just thinking about the
- 16:21Speaker 1: guys who can call multiple sports and do it very
- 16:24Speaker 1: very well i'm not saying mike breen can't i just
- 16:26Speaker 1: haven't heard him do it you.
- 16:27Speaker 6: Know I'm sorry.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Give me Mike Breen on an NFL Sunday, and I'm
- 16:31Speaker 4: sure it will be amazing.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Bang!
- 16:37Speaker 3: Man, I need Nance. So I have to keep... How
- 16:39Speaker 3: many do we keep? Just two?
- 16:40Speaker 7: Save two. The rest are gone forever.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Save two, cut seven, huh? I need Nance because there
- 16:47Speaker 1: is no way... Listen, you guys know my favorite weekend
- 16:50Speaker 1: of the year.
- 16:51Speaker 3: It is Augusta. It's the Masters.
- 16:53Speaker 1: And there is only one person that should be calling
- 16:55Speaker 1: that event, and that person is Jim Nance +. He's
- 16:58Speaker 1: good at college basketball. He's great at football. Jim Nance
- 17:01Speaker 1: is certainly one of the guys I'm keeping.
- 17:03Speaker 3: That's one. You have one yet, Mike?
- 17:09Speaker 4: I'm going to go the ESPN route.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I'm going to keep the Swiss Army knife. I'm going
- 17:14Speaker 6: to keep Joe Buck.
- 17:15Speaker 5: Wow.
- 17:16Speaker 3: You've done it. Not on there, huh?
- 17:18Speaker 7: No, I didn't make this graph.
- 17:19Speaker 6: Disrespect.
- 17:21Speaker 7: I think he was already gone forever.
- 17:25Speaker 3: What are you thinking here, Taylor?
- 17:27Speaker 7: I have my first keep or my first save.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I like this first save.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Yes.
- 17:33Speaker 7: As a Knicks fan, I live and die with the Knicks.
- 17:36Speaker 7: And I'm living and dying with Mike Breen.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Were there names you guys crossed off?
- 17:41Speaker 6: The Fordham guy.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Mikey, were there names you crossed off as Taylor was
- 17:45Speaker 1: reading the list to you?
- 17:47Speaker 3: Because I did it without Michaels. I did it.
- 17:49Speaker 1: And I say this respectfully. I did it with Benetti
- 17:53Speaker 1: just because of the other names. And I did it
- 17:55Speaker 1: with Mike Tirico.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Uh yeah i crossed off probably i'm i'm i've got
- 18:04Speaker 4: one guy i've got one spot for three guys is
- 18:06Speaker 4: how i'm how i'm at right.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Now okay uh let's go out to sherman oaks because
- 18:11Speaker 1: we have uh piqued the curiosity of one iowa sam
- 18:14Speaker 1: and ep jason uh iowa sam.
- 18:16Speaker 7: What do you have for us so out of those
- 18:18Speaker 7: nine i am keeping jim nance and ion eagle.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Wow got right to it the bird Thank you. Feel
- 18:31Speaker 3: good about that one. I know you do. Uh, EP Jason,
- 18:35Speaker 3: what do you got?
- 18:36Speaker 5: Guys? I, before Taylor even read the list, I, I
- 18:40Speaker 5: wrote down Bob Costas and I said, I will pair
- 18:43Speaker 5: one of the nine with Costas. So what an interesting omission. Again,
- 18:47Speaker 5: he's like 90. Uh, I understand the list now. Um,
- 18:52Speaker 5: but I'm a big Costas guy. Love Costas.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Um, I love Kevin Harlan. If I'm going to sit
- 18:58Speaker 5: down to watch a game, Kevin Harlan, I'm going to
- 19:01Speaker 5: ride every single time. And I just kind of owe
- 19:05Speaker 5: it to my generation to include Al Michaels on this list.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Give me Kevin Harlan and Al Michaels.
- 19:13Speaker 6: You don't know what to your generation.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Your generation will be just fine. Ricardo, what do you
- 19:22Speaker 3: have for us?
- 19:23Speaker 7: I'm going to go.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I an eagle.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Yeah, for sure. Right.
- 19:26Speaker 4: And even as a heat fan, I'm going to go
- 19:28Speaker 4: Mike Breen because he had that famous call with Ray
- 19:30Speaker 4: Allen hitting the shot in game six.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 19:32Speaker 6: No baseball.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Perfect bang.
- 19:33Speaker 6: Yes.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I thought for sure you would have thunder him with
- 19:36Speaker 3: a Marlin fly by play guy. down on the list
- 19:39Speaker 3: yeah he's on.
- 19:41Speaker 7: Your list though oh yeah can i give a hot
- 19:43Speaker 7: take here yeah if these are my two announcers for
- 19:48Speaker 7: the rest of my life yes gus johnson is a
- 19:51Speaker 7: little bit too much for me he's great though he
- 19:54Speaker 7: is great.
- 19:54Speaker 6: No he is so great so good so great.
- 19:57Speaker 7: And he and he rises the moment every time when
- 19:59Speaker 7: you need a big moment yeah But I feel like
- 20:02Speaker 7: if I was going to the Gus Johnson well every
- 20:05Speaker 7: time I was watching a sports game, like the only
- 20:07Speaker 7: thing I do in my life is watch sports. I
- 20:09Speaker 7: could not have Gus Johnson calling every game.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Put it on the poll. Is watching sports the only
- 20:16Speaker 3: thing you do with your life? I'm with you.
- 20:21Speaker 7: So I do need a second name.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we all do. Me, you and Mikey. We all
- 20:25Speaker 3: need a second name.
- 20:27Speaker 6: I have changed my mind three times since I made
- 20:29Speaker 6: my first pick.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Seven for me.
- 20:32Speaker 6: Yeah. No, I was sure. Like I was like, nope,
- 20:35Speaker 6: that's the name. I'm going with that one. Well, wait
- 20:37Speaker 6: a minute.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Nope.
- 20:39Speaker 6: I'm going with that one. I've done it three times.
- 20:41Speaker 6: All right.
- 20:42Speaker 7: So my final spot, it comes down to three names here.
- 20:47Speaker 7: It comes down to, to pair with Mike Breen. It
- 20:49Speaker 7: comes down to Jim Nance, Joe Buck, and Ian Eagle.
- 20:56Speaker 7: And I think for versatility, he could do baseball, and
- 21:01Speaker 7: we know he could do football. I'm going with Joe Buck.
- 21:06Speaker 6: That's what I did. Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I agree with EP Jason. I think Kevin Harlan is
- 21:12Speaker 1: the most underrated play-by-play guy in the history of the business.
- 21:15Speaker 3: I'm serious.
- 21:16Speaker 6: He is so good.
- 21:18Speaker 3: He is.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I mean, but doesn't get enough credit for being as
- 21:22Speaker 1: good as he actually is.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Football, basketball, doesn't matter. He's amazing.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'm going to go Kevin Harlan as well. So I
- 21:29Speaker 1: have Nance and Harlan. I'm going to change my mind
- 21:33Speaker 1: a thousand times. I'm going to be thinking about this
- 21:37Speaker 1: while we're talking to Bruce Feldman.
- 21:39Speaker 7: I know I'm going to get a text at like
- 21:40Speaker 7: 10 p.m. tonight that Stugac just says, you know what?
- 21:44Speaker 7: Maybe Tirico.
- 21:47Speaker 3: It depends who gets mad at me. Oh, I left
- 21:52Speaker 3: Buck off the list.
- 21:53Speaker 5: You might get a text from me after watching the
- 21:56Speaker 5: Amazon game and saying, maybe not Al Michaels.
- 21:59Speaker 6: Yeah, again, again.
- 22:01Speaker 3: EP, Jason, let me tell you something.
- 22:03Speaker 1: You don't need to watch tonight's game to say to everyone,
- 22:06Speaker 1: maybe not Al Michaels.
- 22:08Speaker 6: Respectfully.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Spoiler alert. He's mailing it in.
- 22:11Speaker 4: If I told you you're getting these guys at their peak, Al.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Michaels is on the list.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Oh, no doubt. No doubt.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Yes.
- 22:19Speaker 3: You need a second, Mikey.
- 22:21Speaker 6: No, well, you got to ask me because once you
- 22:24Speaker 6: ask me, I have to make a decision.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I am right now. You're the only one who hasn't
- 22:28Speaker 3: selected a second broadcaster.
- 22:31Speaker 6: Iron Eagle. It's Iron Eagle. Right now it's Iron Eagle.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 22:35Speaker 6: Again, I'm.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Proud of you.

- 23:20Speaker 1: A new college football show coming out, debuting, I think, tomorrow.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm very excited about it with our friend the Bear. Mikey,
- 23:28Speaker 1: our thanks here to Bruce Feldman and Brady Quinn. Both
- 23:31Speaker 1: were excellent. We appreciate their time. I noticed you very
- 23:35Speaker 1: distracted while we had Bruce Feldman on. You were not
- 23:39Speaker 1: into it. I don't know what you were doing. What
- 23:40Speaker 1: were you thinking about? I could tell you what I
- 23:42Speaker 1: was doing. I wasn't nearly as distracted, but I think
- 23:46Speaker 1: that you and I were both focused on the same thing.
- 23:49Speaker 4: I did not even realize Bruce Feldman was there. He
- 23:52Speaker 4: was in front of me on my screen.
- 23:54Speaker 6: He was talking.
- 23:55Speaker 4: He was probably saying very smart things about very important topics.
- 24:01Speaker 4: But all I could think of was the Think About
- 24:03Speaker 4: It Thursday because I have been killing myself going back
- 24:07Speaker 4: and forth on– like I have– both included iron Eagle
- 24:13Speaker 4: and gotten rid of him.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:14Speaker 6: I think 13 times in my head.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Yes.
- 24:17Speaker 6: And I think I want to switch my answer, but
- 24:19Speaker 6: I don't.
- 24:19Speaker 3: All right.
- 24:20Speaker 6: Really?
- 24:20Speaker 1: So I spent the entire time. I mean, I was
- 24:22Speaker 1: talking to Bruce Feldman and he was speaking and there
- 24:25Speaker 1: were words coming out of his mouth, but I didn't
- 24:26Speaker 1: hear him. because I was texting apologies to Jason Benetti
- 24:31Speaker 1: and to Ian Eagle, telling them I left them off
- 24:35Speaker 1: a list of nine play-by-play guys that can only choose
- 24:39Speaker 1: two for the remainder of time. But they have to
- 24:41Speaker 1: call all sports. So have you revised your list again?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Because it's only two, Mike. You keep two, you cut seven.
- 24:46Speaker 3: That's it.
- 24:47Speaker 1: The names, again, if you're just joining us, I believe
- 24:49Speaker 1: they were Mike Breen, Mike Tirico, Jim Nance, Kevin Harlan,
- 24:55Speaker 1: Jason Benetti, Al Michaels, Gus Johnson, Ian Eagle, and Joe Buck.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You can only keep two of them. They call the
- 25:02Speaker 1: games for the remainder of time, all the games. Regardless
- 25:05Speaker 1: of the sport, those two guys are going to call
- 25:07Speaker 1: the remainder of games for the remainder of time. I
- 25:13Speaker 1: went with Jim Nance because I need him on the Masters,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and I went with Kevin Harlan because I believe him.
- 25:18Speaker 1: to be the most underrated broadcaster in the history of, of,
- 25:22Speaker 1: of our industry.
- 25:23Speaker 4: So I am very okay with my pick of Joe Buck,
- 25:27Speaker 4: just because of what you said, we are, it is
- 25:30Speaker 4: all sports. And I believe Joe Buck is one of
- 25:32Speaker 4: the few that can do any sport. He has done
- 25:36Speaker 4: almost every sport and, and I trust him. He allows
- 25:40Speaker 4: the moment to breathe on television better than anybody, in
- 25:43Speaker 4: my opinion, in that sometimes he knows to just shut
- 25:47Speaker 4: up and let you watch, let the crowd noise do
- 25:50Speaker 4: its thing.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Yes.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm just trying to imagine Joe Buck calling hockey. I'm
- 25:54Speaker 1: not saying he wouldn't be great at it. I'm just saying,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm just trying to imagine it, you.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Know, until he tries to do play by play of
- 26:02Speaker 4: a sport and can't, I'm going to believe he can
- 26:04Speaker 4: do it all.
- 26:05Speaker 5: Okay.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:05Speaker 3: That's fair.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I mean, he can certainly do golf. He's done it before,
- 26:08Speaker 1: so that takes care of the Masters for me. But
- 26:10Speaker 1: I don't want– listen, for me, that's the most important
- 26:13Speaker 1: weekend of the year, so Nance has to be there
- 26:15Speaker 1: for me. Like, it's the only guy that has to
- 26:17Speaker 1: be there for me is Jim Nance. I don't want
- 26:20Speaker 1: to hear anyone else calling the Masters other than Jim Nance.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Period.
- 26:24Speaker 3: End of discussion.
- 26:25Speaker 4: I don't look at the Masters the way you do,
- 26:27Speaker 4: so I am okay– losing nance for that reason i
- 26:32Speaker 4: i and it's and it's not and i don't do
- 26:35Speaker 4: it disrespectfully i'm sorry jim i think you're wonderful at
- 26:38Speaker 4: what you do yes but this is decision time so
- 26:41Speaker 4: it's really coming down between ian eagle kevin harlan and
- 26:45Speaker 4: mike breen for that final spot yes.
- 26:47Speaker 1: And mike breen just accepted mike breen just accepted my
- 26:49Speaker 1: apology just so you.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Know i'm not sure i'm gonna apologize to him because
- 26:54Speaker 4: i might keep him i might just say hey i
- 26:57Speaker 4: had a little bit of a hiccup i went with
- 26:59Speaker 4: ian But I'm thinking, but Kevin Harland is so good.
- 27:02Speaker 6: He's so good. Kevin Harland. No, that was E.P.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Jason.
- 27:04Speaker 6: Mike Breen, final answer. Mike Breen, final answer.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Mike Breen is your final answer. This is weird because
- 27:09Speaker 1: why is Sean McDonough not on the list? I'm confused
- 27:12Speaker 1: by that. And this is not disrespect. I'm not trying
- 27:14Speaker 1: to be disrespectful to Jason Benetti. He's a fantastic play-by-play
- 27:18Speaker 1: guy for the White Sox and nationally as well.
- 27:21Speaker 3: And I love him. He's a friend. But I feel
- 27:23Speaker 3: like McDonough should be on the list.
- 27:25Speaker 4: No?
- 27:26Speaker 6: He should be there.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Who are you taking off?
- 27:29Speaker 1: I just told you who don't put me in a
- 27:31Speaker 1: bad spot for a second time, but Eddie.
- 27:34Speaker 6: I mean, Jason, but Eddie's really good.
- 27:36Speaker 3: He's so good.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I know.
- 27:38Speaker 6: I hate this list.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Let me try it with analysts because if we have
- 27:41Speaker 1: two guys calling, yeah, no, I want to try this.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Do we have music for this? I need music. I
- 27:48Speaker 3: need some music. I always want music.
- 27:50Speaker 6: It makes me feel.
- 27:52Speaker 1: So if you have two guys calling all the sports
- 27:56Speaker 1: games for the remainder of time, They need help.
- 28:01Speaker 6: Sure.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Somebody who played the sport, an analyst could fill some time.
- 28:07Speaker 3: So I have nine analysts.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:10Speaker 3: You have to drop seven. You can keep two. All right.
- 28:14Speaker 3: How do you keep Kevin Harlan off the list?
- 28:17Speaker 6: Honestly, it's hard.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Listen, he's the best of the best. Like top shelf, man.
- 28:21Speaker 5: I agree.
- 28:24Speaker 3: That's how I look at those nine, by the way.
- 28:26Speaker 3: There's like a top shelf. It's like a bar.
- 28:28Speaker 6: And there's Joe Buck.
- 28:31Speaker 3: There's Mike Breen. Thank you for that, by the way.
- 28:37Speaker 6: So good. All right.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Here are the nine analysts.
- 28:41Speaker 1: This is a lot more difficult.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Stan Van Gundy. Well, keep in mind.
- 28:51Speaker 6: I've got two names in my head right now.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but not only is Van Gundy in the booth, okay,
- 28:55Speaker 1: for basketball games, he'll be in the.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Booth for hockey games.
- 29:00Speaker 6: Stan.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I love it.
- 29:02Speaker 6: Yes.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Stan's very good.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Listen, you know my relationship with Stan Van Gundy.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I love him dearly. He is a dear friend.
- 29:09Speaker 1: He did entire shows with me and Levitard on a
- 29:12Speaker 1: weekly basis, and I love him to death, and he's great.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And Stan Van Gundy can fill time. He knows how
- 29:17Speaker 1: to do this. He's great at it, okay?
- 29:20Speaker 3: Tim Legler.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Second option.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Tom Brady.
- 29:24Speaker 6: That's good.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Tom Brady.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 29:28Speaker 3: He's getting there, Tom Brady.
- 29:29Speaker 6: He is. Yeah, he is. He's an easy leave off
- 29:33Speaker 6: for me right now, but he can get there.
- 29:34Speaker 3: I heard some Romo there from you.
- 29:39Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Jim.
- 29:40Speaker 3: He's not on this list. Should be. Not available.
- 29:44Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 29:46Speaker 3: You want me to put Romo on the list?
- 29:48Speaker 6: No. Keep going.
- 29:49Speaker 3: All right. So you have Van Gundy, Legler, Brady, Reg Olson.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Very good.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Greg Olson.
- 29:56Speaker 6: Very good.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Dare I say great. Dare I say Greg.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Olson should still be in that number one booth instead
- 30:02Speaker 1: of Tom Brady. And I promise you, Greg Olson thinks
- 30:05Speaker 1: he should be in the number one booth instead of
- 30:08Speaker 1: Tom Brady.
- 30:08Speaker 6: He's excellent.
- 30:09Speaker 3: He's very good. Chris Collinsworth.
- 30:13Speaker 6: Now here's a guy. I love this guy, man.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Troy Aikman.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Very good.
- 30:22Speaker 3: He's really good. I can't read my own handwriting. I can't.
- 30:31Speaker 6: What letter does it start with?
- 30:32Speaker 3: It starts with an H. Oh, Kirk Herbstreet.
- 30:37Speaker 6: Yes, Herbie.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Herbie.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Herbie.
- 30:40Speaker 6: Herbie.
- 30:41Speaker 3: And then the last one, Mike Golick, Sr.
- 30:47Speaker 6: Oh, see, that's not fair.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Why?
- 30:49Speaker 3: Because we love Golik and Golik loves us. Why is
- 30:51Speaker 3: it not fair? I don't understand. Golik's a good option.
- 30:54Speaker 3: He can call all sports. He can. All right.
- 30:57Speaker 6: I got my two.
- 30:57Speaker 3: That was quick.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 31:01Speaker 6: I got my two.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Well, one of them I had in my head the
- 31:03Speaker 4: whole time.
- 31:06Speaker 6: One of them I had in my head the whole time.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Can I guess?
- 31:10Speaker 6: You could. Collinsworth. No. Herbstreit.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Yes.
- 31:16Speaker 6: Really?
- 31:16Speaker 4: Yes.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yes.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Yes.
- 31:17Speaker 3: I mean, Herbie loves all of the reasons.
- 31:19Speaker 6: Yes. Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 4: I should hate Kirk Herbstreet as an Ohio State hater,
- 31:24Speaker 4: which I am proud to say I am.
- 31:26Speaker 6: Right. Every time.
- 31:28Speaker 4: And he explains the game very well. He walks you
- 31:32Speaker 4: through it. And frankly, he's just very, very gentle with
- 31:35Speaker 4: old men.
- 31:37Speaker 6: He is.
- 31:37Speaker 3: You're right about that.
- 31:38Speaker 6: He is very gentle.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Now, Michaels is what you were trying to say.
- 31:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:41Speaker 3: And Lee Corso, of course.
- 31:43Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:45Speaker 3: But certainly, Al. Certainly.
- 31:48Speaker 1: There must be times where Herbie's looking at him and
- 31:51Speaker 1: being like, Al, come on.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Try a little bit. Come on, help me out, Al.
- 31:54Speaker 3: I know you've lost a little bit on the fastball,
- 31:56Speaker 3: but come on.
- 31:58Speaker 4: I know you and Black Guerrero Jr. are talking about
- 32:01Speaker 4: what you got paid for in the past.
- 32:02Speaker 1: All right. So Herbie, as we know, been on the show,
- 32:06Speaker 1: friend of the show. Herbie knows baseball. He can call baseball.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I'm not certain about hockey, but Herbie is certainly a
- 32:12Speaker 1: good one. Mine is Stan Van Gundy. Stan Van Gundy,
- 32:15Speaker 1: just for the reasons I explained to.
- 32:17Speaker 3: You before, he's great at basketball. Stan loves baseball. That's
- 32:23Speaker 3: his passion. So he would be great calling baseball games.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Doesn't love football, doesn't love hockey, but Stan knows how
- 32:31Speaker 1: to fill time.
- 32:32Speaker 3: And that is an important part of being a sports analyst.
- 32:35Speaker 1: So the play-by-play guy can regroup and gather his thoughts.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 32:40Speaker 6: You just made my decision for me.
- 32:42Speaker 4: My number two is somebody who not only has experience
- 32:46Speaker 4: doing play-by-play analysts, but knows how to fill time and
- 32:51Speaker 4: is possibly in a hall of fame for broadcasting.
- 32:53Speaker 6: Yes. Give me Mike Golick. Right.
- 32:56Speaker 3: And wrestling. He's just not in the Hall of Fame
- 33:01Speaker 3: that he wants to be in.
- 33:05Speaker 6: Who's your two?
- 33:11Speaker 3: This is so tough. I want to say Golick. I
- 33:15Speaker 3: don't want to live in a world where there's no
- 33:16Speaker 3: Tom Brady. And Collinsworth is the best going. He really is.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I'm going to go Golik because Golik can, I mean,
- 33:26Speaker 1: across sports and he could fill time and he's my
- 33:29Speaker 1: friend and I'm in
- 33:30Speaker 3: The bag for my Golik senior and his entire family.
