- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you Welcome to a brand new day, Welcome
- 0:04Speaker 1: to a brand new month. It's May one, it's Thursday.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Thank you for being here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Thank you for reminding me, because I completely forgot that
- 0:11Speaker 2: it's even in May.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 0:13Speaker 4: Barbara Streisan announced a new album with lots of fun collapse.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Her album, The Secret of Life Partners.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Volume two is out in June.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Just got collabs with people like Hozier, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande,
- 0:26Speaker 4: Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Moore. It's actually pretty sick
- 0:30Speaker 4: when you see the track like line up. The amount
- 0:32Speaker 4: of people that she has on this album as wild.
- 0:34Speaker 4: When she was talking about the duet album, she said quote,
- 0:36Speaker 4: I've always loved singing duets with gifted artists. They inspire
- 0:40Speaker 4: me in unique and different ways. Very cool thing. Love
- 0:43Speaker 4: this Corner Pop closed in Brentwood over the weekend. Don't
- 0:47Speaker 4: love that the owners gave no reason for the closure.
- 0:50Speaker 2: But there is some good news.
- 0:52Speaker 4: The restaurants downtown, Bellevue and Franklin locations are still open,
- 0:56Speaker 4: so you can still check them out there and support them. Obviously,
- 0:59Speaker 4: it's getting harder and harder for businesses to stay open
- 1:02Speaker 4: in Nashville with all the rising costs happening. And this
- 1:06Speaker 4: kind of goes hand in hand with that previous story
- 1:08Speaker 4: and partially why so many local spots keep closing.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Staying in is the new going out.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Americans are twice as likely to favor hosting guests at
- 1:17Speaker 4: home rather than going out, according to this new survey.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Forty nine percent of those surveys said that this shift.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Came in the past few years, which is when we've
- 1:26Speaker 4: seen a lot more closures and a lot less people
- 1:29Speaker 4: spending their money out and about which understandable. Things are
- 1:33Speaker 4: getting more and more expensive. But if you have the
- 1:34Speaker 4: money to spend, or if you decide that you want
- 1:36Speaker 4: to treat yourself, please support local. Nashville is so special
- 1:40Speaker 4: in the sense that we have so many local, amazing places.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Next week is Small Business Week.
- 1:45Speaker 4: So great time to go celebrate the small businesses here,
- 1:48Speaker 4: the local ones.
- 1:49Speaker 2: We'll have a few that we'll talk about next week
- 1:51Speaker 2: as well.
- 1:51Speaker 4: If you need some ideas of places that you want
- 1:53Speaker 4: to support, there's honestly just so many. We have no
- 1:58Speaker 4: lack of total small business. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those
- 2:01Speaker 4: are the three things.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You need to know.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Would you rather go out or stay in?
- 2:05Speaker 2: It depends. I like going out.
- 2:07Speaker 4: I enjoy like going to a nice restaurant, trying something new.
- 2:11Speaker 4: But obviously, like some months, I just can't, you know
- 2:13Speaker 4: what I mean, it ain't in.
- 2:14Speaker 3: The budget totally. What if I were to say, Ricky.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Come over, we're gonna have like a little dinner party,
- 2:19Speaker 1: or Ricky, let's all go out and go to a thing.
- 2:21Speaker 4: I would feel pressured to go to the dinner party
- 2:24Speaker 4: because I would think that you had suggested it, because.
- 2:26Speaker 2: That's what you wanted to do. But I would rather
- 2:28Speaker 2: go out.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but I've always with you.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Here's twenty one pilots getting back into the music on
- 2:34Speaker 1: this Thursday morning.
- 2:35Speaker 3: We do have sounds tickets for the first caller of
- 2:38Speaker 3: the day. You can win those in ten minutes. Ricky,
- 2:41Speaker 3: second man in the morning.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Alexis in Franklin. Good morning, it's one of seven, five
- 2:46Speaker 4: the river. How's your morning going so far?
- 2:48Speaker 5: It's going. I just I don't have the kids this morning.
- 2:52Speaker 5: My husband has them, and I get to have a
- 2:54Speaker 5: couple of minutes to myself before I start a long day.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Navely, that's great. What's uh, what's coming up in your
- 3:00Speaker 1: long day.
- 3:02Speaker 2: So I'm in the.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Dental field, so I'm gonna work with with some little
- 3:06Speaker 5: kids today, So.
- 3:07Speaker 2: That has to be a little hard though.
- 3:09Speaker 4: I'm sure they're afraid of like the dentist or of
- 3:11Speaker 4: going to the doctor.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So you have to be the soothing.
- 3:14Speaker 5: One of course, of course, and that's what I love
- 3:16Speaker 5: about it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So I don't know why I always whenever I take
- 3:20Speaker 1: my kids to the dentist, I always take a lot
- 3:22Speaker 1: of pictures of them when they.
- 3:23Speaker 3: They look so cute. I don't know, they look so
- 3:25Speaker 3: cute in that chair.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Sometimes you guys will give them like glasses so the
- 3:29Speaker 1: light doesn't hurt their eyes.
- 3:30Speaker 3: They just they look cute.
- 3:31Speaker 6: Yes we do. They do look cute.
- 3:35Speaker 5: And then it then you hear some screaming.
- 3:37Speaker 7: Oh but.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Alexis, like I said, you get to soothe them, and
- 3:42Speaker 4: that's a good thing.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I had a great dentist as.
- 3:44Speaker 4: A kid, and that's why I love going to the
- 3:47Speaker 4: dentist like I enjoy I look forward to it.
- 3:49Speaker 3: What was your childhood dentist's name, Doctor Smith? I had
- 3:53Speaker 3: doctor Claws and shout out to Smith.
- 3:56Speaker 5: Well, mine was doctor Snodgrass.
- 3:58Speaker 6: And I work there now.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Oh, so he has retired, but he always has a
- 4:04Speaker 5: place in my heart.
- 4:05Speaker 6: So I have been working there and have.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Been a patient there since I was six years old.
- 4:11Speaker 3: That's the coolest.
- 4:12Speaker 4: That's such a fun like full circle moment. I love
- 4:15Speaker 4: that so much.
- 4:16Speaker 6: Yes, I love it.
- 4:17Speaker 5: It's my It's what I love to wake up to,
- 4:20Speaker 5: is going to my work in helping other little kids
- 4:24Speaker 5: and adults. Now that we see adults so nice.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I love that so much, Alexis. I also love that
- 4:29Speaker 4: you're the first color of the day. You're getting tickets
- 4:31Speaker 4: to go see the National Sounds.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, I love that so much.
- 4:34Speaker 5: Thank you guys so much.
- 4:36Speaker 2: You're so welcome. I love how excited here your great energy.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know if you want to put
- 4:42Speaker 1: it out there, but yeah, you know, free little commercial.
- 4:44Speaker 1: What's the name of the dentist office you guys work for.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Yes, it is not grasp King Dental Associates. We have
- 4:50Speaker 5: different locations spring Hill, Franklin and Mount.
- 4:53Speaker 6: Juliet and murphysboroughs.
- 4:54Speaker 5: It definitely comes to Yes, we see kids, adults and
- 4:56Speaker 5: orthodonic nice plug.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Thank you have a great day today. We appreciate you awesome.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Thank you Cayamelaine Love.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I even remember Ricky.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I remember the same I would read the same book
- 5:07Speaker 1: in the waiting room at the dentists all the time.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It was about the tooth fairy, like lived in a
- 5:12Speaker 1: magical land made of teeth?
- 5:13Speaker 3: Does this ring a bell to you?
- 5:15Speaker 7: No?
- 5:16Speaker 4: Knowing what we were talking about, I used to just
- 5:17Speaker 4: always talk to the receptionists because they were so sweet.
- 5:20Speaker 4: It's kind of asked me about everything that I had
- 5:21Speaker 4: going on in my life, like you know what tests
- 5:23Speaker 4: I had coming up? And then I even went to
- 5:25Speaker 4: him through college, so like they watched me grow up
- 5:28Speaker 4: and none of them ever left because we all loved.
- 5:30Speaker 1: It there they see older people or were you like
- 5:32Speaker 1: the grown up going to the pediatrician stuff? No, it's
- 5:35Speaker 1: all right, More sounds tickets, same time tomorrow, one o
- 5:40Speaker 1: seven five the River.
- 5:41Speaker 7: Haiky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 5:43Speaker 4: So all we figured out so far is that TV
- 5:46Speaker 4: is what's stressing Kevin.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Now, this is what he has an issue or a
- 5:49Speaker 2: problem with.
- 5:50Speaker 4: It's Ricky Zacha Mano in the morning on one oh
- 5:52Speaker 4: seven five of the River.
- 5:53Speaker 2: What exactly is it about TV that's stressing you out?
- 5:56Speaker 1: I will say, we are living through a golden era
- 5:58Speaker 1: of TV right now.
- 5:59Speaker 3: There's so much good stuff out there.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Uh, And my wife and I it's been like for
- 6:04Speaker 1: for many years, our routine, you know, once the kids
- 6:06Speaker 1: go to bed, we will usually typically watch one episode
- 6:09Speaker 1: of something before bed.
- 6:10Speaker 2: That's all you have before you're gonna pass out.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I mean sometimes I even fall asleep halfway through. We
- 6:14Speaker 3: have to continue it the next night. But like, I'm
- 6:16Speaker 3: not watching TV throughout the day, I don't really.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Sit down and watch it. So it's that one episode
- 6:20Speaker 1: every night. And there is so much stuff to watch
- 6:24Speaker 1: right now. It is overwhelming to me. I cannot possibly
- 6:27Speaker 1: watch all the things I want to watch.
- 6:28Speaker 4: It is hard to keep up with everything, for sure.
- 6:30Speaker 4: What are you watching right now?
- 6:32Speaker 1: There's a new season of Handmaid's Tale out, which is
- 6:34Speaker 1: one of our new episode. Okay, we're trying to stay
- 6:38Speaker 1: caught up on that. I love the show Black Mirror.
- 6:40Speaker 1: There's a new season of that out on Netflix. We're
- 6:42Speaker 1: working our way through. The Last of Us is back
- 6:44Speaker 1: on HBO.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's watch it.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You love Pedro Pascal and this the show is so good.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I want to watch the Studio with Seth Rogan. I
- 6:52Speaker 1: have that when am I going to fit all this
- 6:54Speaker 1: stuff in? Everybody keeps talking about the Pit. That's supposed
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be great.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's so good. You have to watch I can't.
- 7:01Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 7:02Speaker 4: For you too, is like like, yeah, this stresses me
- 7:05Speaker 4: out a little bit because I'm like, oh no, I
- 7:06Speaker 4: need to watch my show. But for you, you only
- 7:09Speaker 4: have a certain amount of time to watch it because
- 7:10Speaker 4: you don't want your kids to watch these things, right,
- 7:13Speaker 4: I'm like, the Pit should not be seen by children, probably,
- 7:18Speaker 4: but for.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Me, like, I can watch it while I'm cooking dinner
- 7:21Speaker 2: or whatever. It's not that hard. I don't have kids.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Running around being like what's that while there's organs all
- 7:27Speaker 4: over the place and the pit.
- 7:28Speaker 3: So the advice is get rid of the kids. Yes, okay,
- 7:31Speaker 3: the advice.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Tina and Steve Carell have a new show out on Netflix.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I think it's out today. Oh, I know Wednesday. Season
- 7:37Speaker 1: two is coming. I haven't seen I haven't.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Seen season one though, Kevin, what is that something I
- 7:41Speaker 3: can watch with my kids?
- 7:42Speaker 8: Yeah, you can.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Watch that with your kid. It might be a little much,
- 7:45Speaker 4: but I think it's gonna be fine.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It might be a little I'm also not the.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Right person to ask. My parents let me watch like
- 7:50Speaker 4: everything and anything. I used to watch er X Files,
- 7:54Speaker 4: all these things my parents when I was younger.
- 7:56Speaker 2: The Sopranos. I definitely should not have watched The Sopranos when.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I it's a good show. You lived in New Jersey,
- 8:02Speaker 3: it's ride a passage.
- 8:03Speaker 2: It was like, well, this is the news. Watch it.
- 8:05Speaker 3: So that's where I am right now.
- 8:07Speaker 1: There is just simply too much stuff out and I
- 8:09Speaker 1: want to watch it all and I don't have time.
- 8:11Speaker 4: It's hard, it really is, But I mean that's a positive.
- 8:14Speaker 4: It sucks when there's nothing.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, what am I gonna want?
- 8:17Speaker 3: It does feel like just right now, I don't know springtime.
- 8:20Speaker 3: All these things just dropped and it's overwhelming me. That's
- 8:22Speaker 3: my point.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And I need to just go away on a vacation
- 8:25Speaker 1: for one and just to watch you, lock myself in
- 8:27Speaker 1: a hotel room for a week, or get rid of
- 8:28Speaker 1: the kids one or two.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I'll figure it out.
- 8:30Speaker 7: Three things you need to know, all right.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Just after seven o'clock, good morning, Thank you so much
- 8:35Speaker 1: for starting your day with us.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Rick, He's got those three things.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Actor and musician Jack Black has broken the hot one
- 8:41Speaker 4: hundred record with his Minecraft movie song. So his new song,
- 8:44Speaker 4: Steve's Love a Chicken was streamed seven million times in
- 8:48Speaker 4: one singular week, which means that his thirty four second
- 8:52Speaker 4: song has now broken the record for the shortest Hot
- 8:54Speaker 4: one hundred hit ever by Runtime.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Here's just a piece of.
- 8:58Speaker 3: It, not playing hang out. It's supposed to be planned.
- 9:01Speaker 2: It hates us, it does our studios come there. Chicken
- 9:08Speaker 2: yesteen is hell theil qeezy and justin now you having
- 9:15Speaker 2: the stack very Jack Black.
- 9:22Speaker 4: It just totally fits obviously if you haven't seen the movie.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It was a big hit.
- 9:26Speaker 4: People loved it kids, especially I know you went with
- 9:28Speaker 4: your kids to see it.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Kevin I did, and everything Jack Black did was very
- 9:31Speaker 1: Jaguar Jack.
- 9:32Speaker 3: They just let him beat himself.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I love it.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Uber is offering teens free rides to and from prom
- 9:38Speaker 4: This is super helpful. So the promotion works up to
- 9:41Speaker 4: twenty dollars each to get to and from their big night.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Teens between thirteen to seventeen who used the Uber teen
- 9:47Speaker 4: account can book rides up to nineties early that you
- 9:50Speaker 4: gotta do it by May thirty first, though.
- 9:52Speaker 2: So you have just to the end of this month
- 9:55Speaker 2: and you can.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Even reserve a larger uber xsel if you have a
- 9:58Speaker 4: group of six people or more instead of having to
- 10:00Speaker 4: get like a limo or something.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I don't know if kids still get limos for prom,
- 10:03Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I know that was our thing, was like, oh, we
- 10:05Speaker 4: get to write in a limo, and then it ended
- 10:07Speaker 4: up not working out.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So you could do this instead.
- 10:12Speaker 4: And obviously you're gonna be hungry afterwards, so you can
- 10:15Speaker 4: also get twenty dollars off post prom Uber eats snacks
- 10:18Speaker 4: orders as well, which I love. And Nashville Pride has
- 10:22Speaker 4: announced their lineup for this year. Festivities kick off June
- 10:25Speaker 4: twenty seventh. They're gonna go through the weekend. They'll have
- 10:28Speaker 4: performances by people like Kim Petres, four non Blondes, Big Frida,
- 10:32Speaker 4: Gail and more. Tickets go on sale this Friday, and
- 10:35Speaker 4: you can check out more info at Nashville Pride dot org.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 10:39Speaker 2: need to know.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You just unlocked a memory in me, and you're gonna
- 10:42Speaker 3: get so mad at me when.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I say this, because it's so prom Yes, my friends
- 10:46Speaker 1: and I one year went to prom in an ambulance.
- 10:49Speaker 1: What one of the people in our group. Their their
- 10:52Speaker 1: family owned like an ambulance company. They had a bunch
- 10:54Speaker 1: of ambulances.
- 10:55Speaker 2: How is it even a job?
- 10:56Speaker 3: I don't know, but we uh yeah, we thought it'd
- 10:58Speaker 3: be funny to go to.
- 10:59Speaker 1: An ambulance That's what we did. I feel like we
- 11:00Speaker 1: got to talk about that's a whole other situation.
- 11:03Speaker 2: We got to.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Ricky, thank you for that. Here's Miles Smith. Zach is
- 11:08Speaker 3: not here today, but I've got your facts.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Thank god.
- 11:12Speaker 3: The guy that went to prominent ambulance.
- 11:13Speaker 2: That's who I want to learn from.
- 11:15Speaker 3: We're all learning together.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Next down the river one O seven five the river, Nicky,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Zach and.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Manno in the morning, it's time for Zach's facts. But
- 11:22Speaker 4: Zach is out today, So keV dogg take it away.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Today is May one, twenty twenty five. Uh, it's the
- 11:28Speaker 1: first day of May. May Day, that's what it's known
- 11:30Speaker 1: as around the globe International Workers Day. Also here in
- 11:33Speaker 1: the US, people have been celebrating May Day since the
- 11:35Speaker 1: Roman era. But May Day is not to be confused
- 11:40Speaker 1: with May Day, which is a one word distress signal
- 11:44Speaker 1: used as an international distress signal in radio communications. So
- 11:47Speaker 1: May Day and may day are two completely unrelated things.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Did you know that.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I always thought when people would yell may day, may day,
- 11:56Speaker 1: it had something to do with may day.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Why would I have anything to do with.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Because it's the same.
- 12:01Speaker 2: It's not though. English is very confusing, I know that, Kevin.
- 12:06Speaker 2: It's a very confusing language. I truly mean that.
- 12:09Speaker 3: The fact is that Mayda and may day are two
- 12:11Speaker 3: different things.
- 12:12Speaker 8: Okay, great, heavy may day, reiky zach and meno in
- 12:18Speaker 8: the morning.
- 12:18Speaker 4: This is probably one of the most absurd things I've
- 12:21Speaker 4: ever heard of the Internet doing. And that's saying a lot.
- 12:24Speaker 4: But there's this debate going on. One hundred men versus
- 12:28Speaker 4: a gorilla in a fight. In a fight, the question
- 12:31Speaker 4: is who would win, and people are seriously debating this.
- 12:35Speaker 2: So obviously we need to seriously debate this.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I mean, I get that gorillas are you know, they're
- 12:40Speaker 1: powerful creatures.
- 12:41Speaker 3: But a hundred is a lot of men, Kevin, one hundred.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Kevin, There's no way that a hundred men could beat one.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Gorilla all working together.
- 12:51Speaker 4: There's first off, I have never seen a hundred men
- 12:54Speaker 4: work together in my life.
- 12:55Speaker 3: It's a great point.
- 12:56Speaker 2: So that is not even an.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Option so is that where we're throwing that out there.
- 13:00Speaker 4: One hundred men versus gorilla? I want to know whose
- 13:03Speaker 4: side you're on. Because Kevin thinks apparently one hundred men
- 13:05Speaker 4: could take a gorilla.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I think I would have a chance.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I think that's absolutely absurd.
- 13:08Speaker 4: The gorilla would destroy one hundred men, no problem, no
- 13:12Speaker 4: thought behind it whatsoever.
- 13:13Speaker 2: It would be an obliteration so quickly.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Is it a baby gorilla?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Nope, it's a full grown gorilla.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I can't be the only one that thinks the men
- 13:23Speaker 1: would stand a chance.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I swear to God one.
- 13:27Speaker 7: Reiky, Zach and Meno in the morning, Kenzy.
- 13:30Speaker 2: And Harper and Hendersonville. What do you think?
- 13:32Speaker 6: I think? One hundred men?
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yes, really, it's a lot of people, one hundred number.
- 13:37Speaker 8: There's strength of numbers.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's one hundred men. Have you ever seen
- 13:40Speaker 4: a hundred men come together for one thing?
- 13:44Speaker 9: No?
- 13:44Speaker 7: I have not.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'm getting visions of like the Avengers, all of them
- 13:49Speaker 1: getting together against Thanos, Like.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Okay, we're talking about superheroes against an evil villain?
- 13:55Speaker 2: What are you talking?
- 13:56Speaker 3: Feels the same also.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Them? Did he?
- 14:01Speaker 3: I don't remember they.
- 14:04Speaker 8: Mad this time.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Okay, all right, Genzy, I love your enthusiasm for possibly
- 14:09Speaker 4: men coming together once in their lives.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Okay, I'll give it to them one time.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Thank you for calling. We will take it.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Thank you. Tyler in Hendersonville. What do you think man?
- 14:20Speaker 3: One hundred men or a gorilla?
- 14:22Speaker 9: All right? So I've been doing my research on this,
- 14:25Speaker 9: oh love on Twitter, and I have been like so
- 14:29Speaker 9: in depth in this right, and I've been sending my
- 14:32Speaker 9: sister all these scenarios. So I'm white pasta. I'm white pasta.
- 14:38Speaker 9: One hundred versus ten There's an AI simulation that I
- 14:44Speaker 9: found last night, and it was one million men, okay,
- 14:50Speaker 9: versus ten thousand gorillas.
- 14:52Speaker 4: And the ten thousand grill has destroyed them, correct, Oh, and.
- 14:55Speaker 9: The ten thousand girl has destroyed them. There was a
- 14:57Speaker 9: total of fourteen gorillas take it, and all the men
- 15:02Speaker 9: were dead.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:03Speaker 4: So that just kind of proves that on the smaller scale,
- 15:06Speaker 4: if it's one hundred men versus one gorilla, probably like
- 15:09Speaker 4: the gorilla is probably You're gonna trust AI in this gorilla.
- 15:12Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, and the AI is crazy, Like you guys
- 15:15Speaker 9: have to look into it.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Oh so, Kevin, I'm such just like I believe AI
- 15:19Speaker 4: in this instance, I believe science. Gorillas can weigh four
- 15:22Speaker 4: hundred and fifty pounds.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, so can some men.
- 15:25Speaker 9: Gorilla could take out probably twenty man at one time.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Right, That's what I'm saying.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Tyler.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I just want to thank you for calling me. And
- 15:33Speaker 1: we threw this out there. We didn't know we were
- 15:35Speaker 1: going to get a true expert on the topic.
- 15:39Speaker 9: Like sell and death.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 15:44Speaker 9: All right, thank you guys, a great day.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I remember a news story that there were at one
- 15:49Speaker 1: point in time, Mike Tyson, probably when he was in
- 15:50Speaker 1: his prime, he offered a zoo keeper like fifty thousand dollars.
- 15:53Speaker 3: To let him get in there and fight a gorilla.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Well, the man's also unhitten, not totally. Yeah, that makes sense.
- 16:01Speaker 4: There's just and this is the thing when you want
- 16:03Speaker 4: to compare, even if you want to say.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Like, oh, some men weigh four hundred and fifty pounds.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Sure, gorillas are four hundred and fifty pounds of pure muscle. Yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 4: they have a pausable thumbs just like humans do.
- 16:15Speaker 2: There's just no they can rip your limbs off.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but while they're busy ripping off, you know,
- 16:21Speaker 1: let's say Zach, for example, his limbs.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I'm over here on his back. You know, I got it.
- 16:25Speaker 4: I got him in a headlock, and you feel like
- 16:26Speaker 4: a gnat just bothering the heck out of him.
- 16:30Speaker 8: There's just no way, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning,
- 16:36Speaker 8: Jayden and Gallatin, good morning, Welcome to the river.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I'm guessing you have an opinion on this one hundred
- 16:41Speaker 1: men versus a gorilla debate.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll take the one good win one hundred men
- 16:47Speaker 4: against a gorilla.
- 16:48Speaker 2: That's that's the way to go. Yeah, all right, you
- 16:51Speaker 2: bet all your money on that.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Nope, you have faith in the men, but not too
- 16:57Speaker 1: much faith in the men.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I love that, you know.
- 17:01Speaker 4: It's it's there, just not fully fully there. I mean,
- 17:04Speaker 4: gorillas are huge, though. Have you ever seen a gorilla?
- 17:07Speaker 2: Jaden?
- 17:08Speaker 6: This is Mom Anden debait about it.
- 17:10Speaker 2: You guys had a debate about it, the two of you.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Oh yeah, because I think the gorilla would win against
- 17:15Speaker 6: one hundred men.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Okay, so Jaden thinks one hundred men, but Mom, you're like,
- 17:19Speaker 4: definitely the gorilla.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Oh yeah, and he was like, Mom, I need to call.
- 17:23Speaker 6: I need to call and tell.
- 17:24Speaker 9: Them that one hundred men would win.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I'm with Jaden. How old is Jayden?
- 17:28Speaker 6: Jaden is nine. He'll be fanned next month.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Oh well, happy early birthday to Jayden.
- 17:33Speaker 6: I said, happy early birthday day.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Here, let me ask you this question, new question for mom.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Since Jayden's nine, who would win in a fight a
- 17:40Speaker 1: twenty nine year old or twenty nine year olds?
- 17:43Speaker 6: Okay, a twenty nine year old versus twenty nine year old? Yeah, okay,
- 17:48Speaker 6: I'm not gonna lie. I think the twenty nine year old.
- 17:51Speaker 6: I'm one of those moms. I get overstimulated, and I
- 17:54Speaker 6: have four boys myself, so I just know that twenty
- 17:57Speaker 6: nine year olds can take me down.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:59Speaker 3: So you're saying and the kids would.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Win, Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I actually would agree with you on that.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I have more faith in the kids than I do
- 18:05Speaker 4: one hundred men.
- 18:07Speaker 6: But I have four boys, and I swear my house
- 18:09Speaker 6: is about the UFC ring.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Well, thank you for calling you guys, have a great day,
- 18:15Speaker 3: and good luck with all the boys.
- 18:16Speaker 6: Thank you you too.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Bye, guys.
- 18:19Speaker 3: So that settles it. The men would win.
- 18:21Speaker 2: It's just not true.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I think that's what we've decided.
- 18:23Speaker 2: It's just not sure. I think it's equal on both sides.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Note at this point we do have tickets to see
- 18:29Speaker 1: Maren Morris.
- 18:30Speaker 3: It's gonna be at the Pinnacle.
- 18:31Speaker 1: You can win them coming up at the game of
- 18:32Speaker 1: the day one seven.
- 18:33Speaker 7: Five, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Playing Double Trouble all week long for Maren Morris tickets.
- 18:40Speaker 2: It's playing the Pinnacle.
- 18:41Speaker 4: September twenty fifth, Amy and Murphy's Borough. You sounded a
- 18:44Speaker 4: little nervous when you first say.
- 18:47Speaker 6: I think you're going to pick up Oh well.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Then this is exciting. I have faith in you. I
- 18:51Speaker 2: think you're gonna do great.
- 18:52Speaker 3: This is great. Do you know how the game is played? No, sure, Amy, It's.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Called Double Trouble, and it's uh because Maren Morris. You know,
- 19:01Speaker 1: she's got the MM initials. So that is the theme.
- 19:03Speaker 1: All of the questions or the answers will have something
- 19:06Speaker 1: to do with, you know, alliteration.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Okay, all right, are you ready?
- 19:11Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 19:11Speaker 3: Amy and Murphy's Burrow. Your game starts right now with
- 19:16Speaker 3: the initials p P.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Who stars in HBO's popular show The Last of Us PEP.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, he's one of my favorites.
- 19:28Speaker 2: He's a big deal.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I have absolutely no idea.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well, you need two out of three to get the tickets,
- 19:36Speaker 1: so that's fine. You didn't get this one.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Your it's Mario.
- 19:40Speaker 6: It's Mario, it's Payer Passal. Oh my gosh, that's good.
- 19:44Speaker 9: Yeah it is.
- 19:46Speaker 6: That took me a second.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Who's Mario?
- 19:49Speaker 6: Didn't play in the Mario movie?
- 19:52Speaker 3: No, but that's okay either.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Way, you got it's correct.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Wait, the Mario movie was a cartoon. What do you
- 19:57Speaker 3: mean it looks like?
- 19:58Speaker 1: Okay, then right, we gotta move out, we gotta move on.
- 20:00Speaker 1: What hey, how about this another Pedro Pascal question? Here
- 20:04Speaker 1: he is set to star in what upcoming Marvel movie which.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Is out this summer.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Marge, so it also has that alliteration Pedro pass thunder No, no, no, no,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I mean I get.
- 20:26Speaker 4: The guests, because that is the new movie that everybody's
- 20:28Speaker 4: talking about.
- 20:29Speaker 1: We're talking about Fantastic four. Okay, f f starring Pp.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You need this to win. From two thousand and two
- 20:38Speaker 1: to twenty fifteen, eBay owned what popular online payment system?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Hey, now you did it.
- 20:50Speaker 3: I don't know how you did it.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Now you're going to see Maarn Morris Optember twenty fifth
- 20:55Speaker 1: at the Pinnacle.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Great job, Oh my gosh, thank you, three things.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Good morning, thank you for starting today with us.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Ricky Sanchez and I are still arguing about Gorilla's fighting men,
- 21:05Speaker 1: but she's got three things you need to know.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I refuse to give up this argument.
- 21:09Speaker 4: But anyways, the kid LaRoy is playing in Nashville next weekend.
- 21:13Speaker 4: He's doing a pop up show at Harriet's rooftop at
- 21:15Speaker 4: the One Hotel.
- 21:16Speaker 2: It's happening on Friday, May ninth.
- 21:18Speaker 4: You got to sign up on their website for a
- 21:20Speaker 4: shot at being invited.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Though this is invite only. You gotta sign up.
- 21:24Speaker 4: There's more info on their instagram at Harriet's Nashville. Honestly
- 21:28Speaker 4: love that he's doing a pop up. I'm real hyped
- 21:30Speaker 4: about it. The Now You See Me movie is a
- 21:33Speaker 4: really out here promoting I don't know if you've seen this, Kevin,
- 21:36Speaker 4: because I know you're the movie guy, but this is wild.
- 21:38Speaker 4: They gave people who signed up via live stream one
- 21:41Speaker 4: hundred and nineteen dollars each, so they live streamed a
- 21:44Speaker 4: phone number on a bunch of billboards, like in Times
- 21:46Speaker 4: Square in New York city, and they prompted for people
- 21:50Speaker 4: to text them and when they did, the people got
- 21:53Speaker 4: a text back saying.
- 21:55Speaker 2: That they were being gifted one hundred and nineteen dollars.
- 21:57Speaker 3: That's a mat I've never heard of a movie doing that.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Right, So now you see Me.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco.
- 22:05Speaker 2: So many people are gonna be in this movie.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Obviously they have a crazy budget if they can send
- 22:09Speaker 4: a bunch of people under nineteen dollars.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Movie comes out November fourteenth.
- 22:13Speaker 4: If you want to check it out and honestly go
- 22:15Speaker 4: follow their instagram. Who knows if they're gonna do something
- 22:18Speaker 4: like this again, try to get yourself some money before
- 22:21Speaker 4: you see the movie.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And in case you didn't know this, this month is
- 22:24Speaker 2: no mo May.
- 22:26Speaker 4: So the idea of no mo May is that you
- 22:28Speaker 4: don't mow your law for the entire month, which means
- 22:31Speaker 4: the grass is gonna grow, lawn flowers will bloom, and
- 22:34Speaker 4: native bees will emerge from hibernation and have local pollen
- 22:37Speaker 4: for them to feast on.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Obviously, this is all about saving the bees.
- 22:40Speaker 4: The bees have been you know, dying, and we want
- 22:43Speaker 4: them to stay alive because we need them in order
- 22:45Speaker 4: for us to stay alive. So if you decide to
- 22:47Speaker 4: do this, I suggest obviously informing your neighbors, letting them know, like, hey,
- 22:51Speaker 4: this is what I want to do.
- 22:52Speaker 2: For two reasons, maybe they want to join in on this,
- 22:54Speaker 2: which is a great way to spread the word.
- 22:55Speaker 4: And also it's just a nice thing to do to
- 22:57Speaker 4: let them know you're gonna let your mow like you're
- 22:59Speaker 4: alone and get higher. Also, check with your hoa because
- 23:02Speaker 4: they do have certain limits on how much you can
- 23:05Speaker 4: grow your grass. So maybe grow it to the limit
- 23:08Speaker 4: before your hoa tries to find you or anything like that.
- 23:11Speaker 4: If you can't participate fully because of an hoa or
- 23:13Speaker 4: maybe you got really mean neighbors they don't want you
- 23:16Speaker 4: to do it, just consider cutting back on how often
- 23:18Speaker 4: you mow throughout the spring. Maybe just let it grow
- 23:20Speaker 4: a little bit more than you normally would. Every little
- 23:23Speaker 4: bit is going to help the bees thrive. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
- 23:26Speaker 4: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 23:27Speaker 8: One O seven five the River, Heiky Zach and Mano
- 23:30Speaker 8: in the morning.
- 23:31Speaker 1: We saw a study that says men who use a
- 23:35Speaker 1: lot of emojis are manipulative and they're emotional roller coasters,
- 23:40Speaker 1: and we want to know if this checks out in
- 23:42Speaker 1: your personal experience.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, Like, if a guy uses a lot of emojis,
- 23:46Speaker 4: is at a red flag for you?
- 23:47Speaker 1: I personally don't use many emojis. I might throw one
- 23:50Speaker 1: in every once in a while.
- 23:52Speaker 2: You like to make your own graphics.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I do do that.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I like to do that.
- 23:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Instead six one, five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh
- 23:58Speaker 1: seven the men in your life.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Traditionally speaking, if they use a lot of emojis? Are
- 24:02Speaker 3: they manipulative? Are they emotional roller coasters?
- 24:05Speaker 2: Is it just bad news? Run away real quick?
- 24:07Speaker 3: That's the question. Six one, five, seven, three seven, nine,
- 24:10Speaker 3: one on seven Ricky second Manno in the.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Morning on one oh seven five Leslie and Madison.
- 24:16Speaker 2: What do you think about a guy using emojis a lot?
- 24:19Speaker 2: Is that a red flag?
- 24:20Speaker 7: Yes?
- 24:21Speaker 3: Huge red flags. Can you give us an example. Is
- 24:24Speaker 3: there a guy in your life you're thinking of?
- 24:26Speaker 9: Well, there was one that.
- 24:27Speaker 5: He would never tell me his real name.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Oh, that's also a red flag. He would always text
- 24:33Speaker 3: me and he would use so many emojis, and they
- 24:36Speaker 3: would be so many texts with emoji's, emoji's emojis.
- 24:39Speaker 8: Huge red flags.
- 24:40Speaker 6: Stay away from them.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Okay, so the studies right, then, guys who use a
- 24:44Speaker 4: lot of emojis are manipulative, emotional roller coasters. Although I
- 24:47Speaker 4: will say, Leslie, the fact that he never gave you
- 24:49Speaker 4: his real name is probably the biggest red flag.
- 24:53Speaker 5: Yeah, he would never give me his real name. To
- 24:55Speaker 5: this day, I do not know his real name.
- 24:57Speaker 2: That is wild to think about that there are people
- 24:59Speaker 2: out there like that.
- 25:00Speaker 1: There's a chance it was my son, my six year
- 25:02Speaker 1: old son. When he gets a hold of my phone,
- 25:04Speaker 1: he presses all the emojis.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Should I be concerned? O?
- 25:08Speaker 2: My god? Yeah, Leslie, thank you for calling in and
- 25:14Speaker 2: weighing in on this. We appreciate you.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Do you know any guys that are heavy J uses
- 25:21Speaker 4: a pretty decent amount of emojis, not anything over the top,
- 25:24Speaker 4: but he still uses them pretty often. But I don't
- 25:27Speaker 4: think that's a red flag for him. I don't know
- 25:29Speaker 4: if he has.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Any red FLEs Can you open up your text with
- 25:32Speaker 1: AJ and just kind of quickly so I won't read anything,
- 25:34Speaker 1: but it's kind of scroll and show me.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I don't care if you read anything. I have nothing
- 25:37Speaker 2: to hide.
- 25:38Speaker 3: See what kind of dirty.
- 25:39Speaker 2: There's an emoji? There's a heart.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Heart.
- 25:41Speaker 3: It's nice.
- 25:42Speaker 2: There's another heart.
- 25:43Speaker 4: It's mostly hearts, he said, it's nice. He sends me
- 25:45Speaker 4: a lot of hearts.
- 25:47Speaker 3: This is not bad. This is not a red flag.
- 25:49Speaker 2: It's okay. Yeah, it's actually all hearts. Yeah, he sends
- 25:52Speaker 2: me that are emojis. Outside of that, there's no other emojis.
- 25:55Speaker 2: He also likes to send me that.
- 25:56Speaker 4: It's kind of like that little flirty face. It's like
- 25:59Speaker 4: side eye, but like a half smile kind of thing.
- 26:01Speaker 4: So it's flirty emotion.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yes, I don't think it's a red flag.
- 26:05Speaker 3: It's a nice relationship. Green flags for a jet.
- 26:09Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Time for the Daily Double Tap, Ricky is calling out
- 26:14Speaker 1: the ladies.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah for once. I just I feel like this is
- 26:17Speaker 2: such a bad move for women to do.
- 26:20Speaker 4: And I know this one's a total joke, but like,
- 26:22Speaker 4: we gotta stop doing this.
- 26:23Speaker 7: Ladies.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Here it is, Dan, tell everyone what you just said
- 26:26Speaker 2: to me.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I said, I don't want ice cream tonight, but I'll
- 26:30Speaker 3: go with you if you want.
- 26:31Speaker 4: If you want, if you want to get ice cream,
- 26:34Speaker 4: you're calling me a big back, big fat cow.
- 26:39Speaker 2: I said, yes, you did. So you want to break up. No,
- 26:42Speaker 2: you're saying you want to break up with me?
- 26:45Speaker 3: Want ice cream?
- 26:45Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 26:48Speaker 4: That poor man's like nervous, giggle. I feel so bad
- 26:51Speaker 4: for him.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Is this I mean, would this be gas lighting? Is
- 26:54Speaker 3: that what you?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it would be gas lighting. It's all it's just toxic, Like,
- 26:58Speaker 2: don't we don't need to do that.
- 27:00Speaker 4: I get it's all like, I'm sure they have a
- 27:01Speaker 4: playful relationship, but.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Some I have some friends, they do this seriously. It's
- 27:06Speaker 2: a serious thing.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Good even when they're joking, you know, like every joke
- 27:10Speaker 4: has a little bit of honesty in it, kind of saying.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's sure. I know you're calling out the ladies
- 27:16Speaker 1: for that behavior. But I gotta say this reminded me
- 27:18Speaker 1: of Zach.
- 27:19Speaker 3: True and true. He's not here to defend himself right now.
- 27:21Speaker 2: You can't defend himself.
- 27:23Speaker 1: If I put a period in a text to Zach,
- 27:26Speaker 1: he's like, you're so mad?
- 27:27Speaker 3: What did I do to you? Why are you so mad?
- 27:28Speaker 7: Like? WHOA?
- 27:29Speaker 3: Nothing?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Just us get really nervous. You're like, wait, did I
- 27:33Speaker 2: do something wrong? Yeah? We can't be doing that. Whether
- 27:36Speaker 2: you're a woman or a man.
- 27:38Speaker 3: You can't be doing it.
