• 0:00
Startling information for all gold and silver investors.
• 0:04
Is President Donald Trump's recent nominee for the Treasury
• 0:08
Department, Scott Besent, a gold bug?
• 0:11
We have clear evidence that that could indeed be the case.
• 0:15
Some would say is the case. I'm going to lay it out for you
• 0:18
in this video. But this is the person who's
• 0:21
replacing Janet Yellen to head the Treasury Department.
• 0:25
And wait until you hear what he said about gold.
• 0:29
Let's dive right into this and there's even more interesting
• 0:32
information coming out on just what this could mean for the
• 0:36
gold price and the silver price guys, we are in for some good
• 0:39
times heading down the road. Thank you for being here thank
• 0:42
you for being part of the basement.
• 0:44
I appreciate you and your time that's why they call it YouTube.
• 0:47
Please subscribe to the channel, give the video a thumbs up.
• 0:50
But let's go see what Mr. Bescent said.
• 0:54
That should have all of us as gold and silver investors
• 0:57
extremely excited. We'll head out first to X in and
• 1:02
get some breaking. This was breaking news this
• 1:05
morning. This came from make gold great
• 1:08
again. He said breaking Trump's not
• 1:10
Trump nominates a gold bug for the USA treasurer.
• 1:15
OK, USA's new treasurer said, quote, and I'm going to play
• 1:19
this video for you where he said this.
• 1:21
He said, quote, this is Scott percent.
• 1:23
He's a billionaire investor. This is the man that Trump is
• 1:27
  nominated to replace Janet Yellen.
• 1:29
And Scott percent said just a few weeks ago, quote, we are in
• 1:32
a long term bull market in gold. It's my biggest position.
• 1:39
Again, billionaire investor Scott percent soon to be the
• 1:43
head of the Treasury Department. And I want to point out also
• 1:46
that Peter Spina from gold seek is who initially pointed this
• 1:50
out. Now let's go to this video in
• 1:53
here exactly from his own mouth. What Scott percent said just a
• 1:58
little over 3 short week weeks ago.
• 2:00
This was an interview he did on a, on a podcast called the Macro
• 2:04
Maven. It's like a high end web, you
• 2:06
know, a podcast for where billionaire investors talk.
• 2:10
I'm going to play this for you. He was talking about China.
• 2:13
But then in just a few seconds, you're going to hear what he has
• 2:16
to say about gold. Function in the market that
• 2:21
would allow for a sustainable Chinese economy then I think we
• 2:27
are in a long term bull market in gold I think we're seeing
• 2:31
reserve accumulation by central banks I follow it closely it's
• 2:37
my biggest position and even I was surprised the other day when
• 2:41
the central Bank of Poland came out and said that they want to
• 2:44
take their gold reserves to 20% and you know Ted over my career
• 2:49
some of my. OK guys, there we have it.
• 2:52
Straight from his mouth, right? He follows gold very closely.
• 2:58
It's his biggest position. He's also a billionaire
• 3:02
investor. This is also the man who will be
• 3:06
heading up the Treasury Department when Donald Trump is
• 3:10
placed as president of the United States.
• 3:12
This is good for the gold and silver price.
• 3:16
But wait, there's even more. Let's go out and see about a
• 3:21
rumor, our speculation. I want to emphasize on this
• 3:24
behalf, what I just showed you was fact, right?
• 3:28
It's his biggest position and it's something that he follows
• 3:31
very closely. But Ronnie Stoferly, who all of
• 3:34
us know, one of the leading voices in the gold and silver
• 3:37
community, had this posted this on X question for the X
• 3:41
  community. I heard rumors.
• 3:44
I want to emphasize rumors. That's what Ronnie said.
• 3:46
Rumors that Zoltan Pulsar his recently written about Scott
• 3:51
Bassett's plans to revalue gold and issue 100 year century
• 3:58
  bonds. Does anyone have concrete
• 4:00
details on this? So apparently there are rumors.
• 4:04
I want to emphasize rumors going around about this idea of gold
• 4:08
backed bonds. You've got some comments in
• 4:11
here, but then somebody also pointed this out.
• 4:15
Judy Shelton, who we talked about on a regular basis on this
• 4:18
channel, she wasn't nominated to be a part of the Federal Reserve
• 4:22
by Donald Trump in his previous administration.
• 4:25
She didn't get through, but she's proposing 50 year Treasury
• 4:29
bonds convertible into gold. So things are getting very
• 4:33
  interesting. Guys.
• 4:35
I want to reiterate, OK, this is this is stranger than reality
• 4:40
  for us precious metals investors.
• 4:42
We have a Treasury Secretary, nominated Treasury Secretary who
• 4:47
just three weeks ago, three weeks ago, disclosed that gold
• 4:52
is his biggest position and he's a billionaire and that he
• 4:56
follows gold very closely. Let's also check this out about
• 5:01
Mr. Besant because this is interesting information for us
• 5:04
to consider as well. He would be if if his nomination
• 5:09
goes through, he would be the first gay man to hold that
• 5:14
position. If confirmed by the Senate,
• 5:17
hedge fund manager Scott Percent would become the highest ranking
• 5:20
out gay man in American history. President-elect Donald Trump 10%
• 5:25
to be the next Secretary of Treasury, a Cabinet position
• 5:29
that is fifth in the presidential line of succession.
• 5:33
But it gets even more interesting when Trump describes
• 5:36
Besant about this, saying that he would, quote, usher in a new
• 5:41
golden age for the United States.
• 5:45
Golden age again, Scott Besant, who just three weeks ago said
• 5:50
gold is his biggest position in that he watches it very closely.
• 5:54
And then we have president-elect Donald Trump saying that Mister
• 5:58
Besant would issue in a new golden age.
• 6:01
And we have lots of talk about the possibility.
• 6:05
Some rumors, speculation about gold backed U.S.
• 6:09
Treasury bonds as I think we are in for some very interesting
• 6:14
times. And just this fact alone, I'm
• 6:17
sorry, I have to repeat it one more time, that our incoming
• 6:21
Treasury Secretary appears to be someone who is up, shall we say,
• 6:25
fond of gold, could make for some interesting developments
• 6:29
within the gold and silver sector as we head into 2025.
