- 0:04This is where we start to unpack what I talked about in part one,
- 0:11where he's often referred to as one of the serial killers
- 0:15with the conscience.
- 0:17Mm-hmm.
- 0:17That's right.
- 0:18You did say that.
- 0:19I kind of lost track of that during all the horrific things
- 0:24I was hearing.
- 0:25Right.
- 0:26Yeah.
- 0:27[MUSIC PLAYING]
- 0:30Hi, Cassie.
- 0:40Hi, Caitlyn.
- 0:41Hi, creepy people.
- 0:42Hello.
- 0:43Hello.
- 0:45I never get sick of that.
- 0:47Hopefully you don't either, creepy people.
- 0:50Yeah.
- 0:51If you're new to our creepy corner of the world,
- 0:54this is PNW Haunts and Homicides, where we chat about True Crime,
- 0:58the paranormal, and all things creepy in the Pacific Northwest.
- 1:03That's what PNW stands for, FYI.
- 1:06If you're not, sticky.
- 1:09We also do a tarot reading at the end of every episode
- 1:12for a little deeper insight into our topic.
- 1:15So make sure to stick around if you're into that.
- 1:18Yeah.
- 1:19Or if you're not into that, stick around anyway.
- 1:22Do away.
- 1:23Mm-hmm.
- 1:25This week, we're back to telling the backstory of Wayne
- 1:28Adam Ford.
- 1:30But we're going to get into the crimes
- 1:32that would make headlines following
- 1:34his eventual arrest as well.
- 1:37I'm not really going to preamble this.
- 1:42OK.
- 1:42We're just going to dive right in.
- 1:44So--
- 1:45Yay.
- 1:46Let's go.
- 1:46Let's dive.
- 1:47Go for a dive.
- 1:48She's not reaching for her glass.
- 1:50I felt like I was giving her a strong enough cue there.
- 1:52[LAUGHS]
- 1:54To take a big sip?
- 1:55Yeah.
- 1:56And keep it close.
- 1:58Let's recall that he's in his drunkenly wearing camo
- 2:03to stalk my wife in the front yard phase of life.
- 2:06Right.
- 2:08So things are obviously about to start running downhill.
- 2:13I can't imagine why.
- 2:14Yeah.
- 2:15Where is this going?
- 2:16Yeah.
- 2:16I really hope that was obvious.
- 2:19I don't feel like I want to have to explain that.
- 2:22If that sounds like something you want to do,
- 2:23maybe check your life.
- 2:25Yeah.
- 2:26It's time to re-evaluate.
- 2:29Respectfully.
- 2:311983 and 1984 were particularly rough years.
- 2:37Actually, you should probably just assume moving forward
- 2:41just rough years if I'm being totally honest.
- 2:45Got it.
- 2:46OK.
- 2:47Just one example.
- 2:49When he complained about depression
- 2:51to someone in his unit, he was hospitalized
- 2:54in the Navy's psychiatric ward in San Diego.
- 2:58His condition did not improve after his short-term stay,
- 3:03which shouldn't be surprising because three days
- 3:06is really enough time to solve anyone's serious problems,
- 3:11even three months, in some cases, I'd argue.
- 3:16Like--
- 3:17Yeah.
- 3:18If anything, his behavior only grew worse,
- 3:21because that's usually how these things work.
- 3:25Yeah, especially if you don't get the help you need.
- 3:28Eventually, at some point, after Kelly asked him for a divorce,
- 3:33she did begin dating the coworker he'd been jealous of, too.
- 3:37Oh, no.
- 3:38Yeah.
- 3:39Ooh.
- 3:40Uh-huh.
- 3:41That stinks.
- 3:43So I'm sure in his mind, all of his greatest insecurities
- 3:47and worries are essentially coming to life.
- 3:50Yeah.
- 3:51I feel like he kind of put that on himself, though.
- 3:52I was just going to say, I feel like you kind of manifested
- 3:56that into existence.
- 3:58She's like, you know, I never really
- 4:00looked twice at this guy, but now all of a sudden,
- 4:03next to you, out here in the yard in your camo,
- 4:07and just camping out.
- 4:09Crazy eyes.
- 4:10Yeah.
- 4:12He's looking pretty good, actually.
- 4:14Yeah.
- 4:15I could see that.
- 4:16It's roughly around this time that Wayne began stalking Kelly.
- 4:21Obviously that doesn't seem like it's going to end well.
- 4:25But thankfully, all indications are that it didn't last for long
- 4:29once their divorce was finalized.
- 4:32Oh, OK.
- 4:32Good.
- 4:33Got to get that paperwork.
- 4:35I mean, shitty that he stalked her at all,
- 4:37because that shits terrifying.
- 4:39Yeah.
- 4:39Don't love that.
- 4:41I mean, it would be great if that was
- 4:43because Wayne actually got the help that he clearly needed
- 4:48for his increasingly declining mental health.
- 4:53But in actuality, it was due in large part,
- 4:56if not entirely, to his transfer to Okinawa, Japan.
- 5:01Oh, so he went like super far away.
- 5:03So he was like, that stalking thing,
- 5:04that's going to be a little much from here.
- 5:06Yeah.
- 5:06It's pretty hard to pull that off.
- 5:09God.
- 5:09OK.
- 5:10Yeah.
- 5:11So one way or another, that was done.
- 5:15Thank goodness for her.
- 5:17I know.
- 5:18After just a few short weeks went by, not much had changed.
- 5:23In fact, he had another episode of a sort of medical and psychiatric
- 5:28combination.
- 5:30And this is where my thought is, what's
- 5:34happening in a person's mind can eventually
- 5:38take a serious toll on the physical body, like my ex-did on my hairline?
- 5:44Oh, gosh.
- 5:45Yeah.
- 5:46It was like I was dealing with male pattern baldness a little bit.
- 5:51Just losing my hair.
- 5:53That's all stress.
- 5:55Yeah, zero stress.
- 5:56Do not recommend.
- 5:58It wasn't until 1984, after several transfers and unsuccessful attempts
- 6:04to treat his badly worsening physical and mental health,
- 6:08that he was diagnosed with BPD.
- 6:12Bipolar disorder.
- 6:13Yes.
- 6:14I knew it.
- 6:15Yeah.
- 6:15Not that that's a good thing.
- 6:16I just was proud that I knew what it meant.
- 6:18No, I mean, it's exciting to be correct.
- 6:21Yeah.
- 6:21I get it.
- 6:23Then in January of 1985, he was honorably discharged
- 6:29following his less than stellar service record
- 6:34with the US military, which honestly,
- 6:38I was kind of embarrassed when I got to the end of this
- 6:43because I had to read and reread the source material
- 6:49to confirm repeatedly.
- 6:52But I did assume that his problematic behavior
- 6:55was just going to escalate to the point
- 6:57where he would end up being discharged dishonorably.
- 7:02But I guess not.
- 7:03He held it together just enough for just long enough
- 7:07to eek out the honorable discharge.
- 7:10Wow.
- 7:11He eek, eek, right out of there.
- 7:15From there, he took odd jobs to make ends meet
- 7:17following his discharge, which is arguably one of the most
- 7:23innocuous but gross words ever.
- 7:27Discharge?
- 7:28Yes.
- 7:29Yeah, makes you think of nasty vaginal discharge
- 7:31or penile discharge.
- 7:33Oh, boy.
- 7:35Sorry, everybody.
- 7:37OK.
- 7:38In 1986, at the age of 24, he moved to Garden Grove, California,
- 7:45which is a really cute name for a place.
- 7:47And I hate how these guys just ruin everything.
- 7:51I was going to say it sounds very pleasant.
- 7:54Yeah.
- 7:55Yeah.
- 7:56It's at this point in the timeline
- 7:58that Wayne not only meets a new love interest,
- 8:01and the two would actually eventually
- 8:03move to San Clemente together.
- 8:06But he is also arrested for brutally attacking a sex worker.
- 8:11Oh my god.
- 8:12OK.
- 8:13Yeah.
- 8:14So yeah, it's getting real here.
- 8:16All right.
- 8:16He's got a lot going on.
- 8:19This relationship would be a tumultuous one,
- 8:22but it didn't fizzle out fully until around 1991.
- 8:27And that is like five years too long.
- 8:30I would argue.
- 8:31Did you see me trying to math in my head?
- 8:33I did.
- 8:34How long did she put up with him for?
- 8:36I am looking at the notes, and I can see the two dates
- 8:40and can confirm.
- 8:43It's a little bit confusing to parse this all out as well,
- 8:47just because many of the women he had relationships with,
- 8:52shocker, aren't super keen to be associated with him in the aftermath?
- 8:59Or at least that's what I gather, because a lot of them
- 9:02did interviews at one point or another,
- 9:05and they were anonymous.
- 9:07And there's also some other things, but we're not there yet.
- 9:11So just--
- 9:12I'm not surprised.
- 9:13I don't think we should be surprised that they're like,
- 9:15yeah, let's talk about my serial killer ex-boyfriend.
- 9:20Oh gosh.
- 9:21Yeah.
- 9:22Yeah, no thank you.
- 9:23Right?
- 9:24Never.
- 9:25Yeah, no thanks.
- 9:26Hashtag, never Bundy.
- 9:29Yeah.
- 9:30Swipe left, on Bundy.
- 9:33It's a couple of years later that Wayne meets Elizabeth
- 9:36at a karaoke bar and the two hit it off.
- 9:39What bothers me about this is she was 19.
- 9:43Oh.
- 9:44And I don't know how she was able to get into bars.
- 9:48Was it a bar bar?
- 9:49Was it like a food?
- 9:50It's like--
- 9:51Please, totally clear to me.
- 9:52So maybe that's all that is.
- 9:54And I'm making something out of nothing.
- 9:56Or fake idea or--
- 9:58Yeah, that was very popular in the '80s.
- 10:01I have it on good authority.
- 10:02Or maybe they just didn't even card, you know?
- 10:05A lot of places, I think that was kind of the common practice,
- 10:09because they're like, well, listen, 19-year-old money
- 10:12spends just as well as the rest y'alls.
- 10:16She looks old enough.
- 10:17Yeah.
- 10:18Old enough for what?
- 10:20Singing karaoke.
- 10:21Oh, it's going to say--
- 10:22like, you remember that scene in Superbad?
- 10:25Shhh, party.
- 10:26This new relationship also quickly devolves
- 10:32into an abusive pattern as had been the case with Kelly
- 10:37before she eventually left him, as well as seemingly
- 10:41every other woman before and since.
- 10:44So that is the pattern is that it's a pattern of abuse.
- 10:49So a pattern of patterning of abuse.
- 10:52Pattern of he's the problem.
- 10:54Yeah.
- 10:55The escalation of the abuse did not stop
- 10:58the couple from aloping to Las Vegas in 1994.
- 11:03Now, did you know there's a difference
- 11:05between aloping in Las Vegas and aloping to Las Vegas?
- 11:14I have no idea what you're saying.
- 11:16I looked it up.
- 11:17You're saying the same words, right?
- 11:19That's what I thought.
- 11:21But there was a little voice in the back of my head that said,
- 11:26they're not the same.
- 11:27Yeah, grammar nerd.
- 11:29What?
- 11:30I looked it up.
- 11:30So if you are in this city where you then
- 11:35ilope because you're basically just staying in the same city
- 11:39and you're aloping in the sense that you're not having a wedding,
- 11:45OK.
- 11:46That is aloping in Las Vegas.
- 11:49If you alope to Las Vegas, you are somewhere in California
- 11:56as these lovebirds were.
- 11:59And then you're going to Vegas to alope.
- 12:02I get it.
- 12:03Yeah.
- 12:04Fun fact.
- 12:06Isn't really that fun.
- 12:08But it is a fact.
- 12:10Foring facts with Taylor.
- 12:13Thank you.
- 12:14At the time, she was 21 and he was 32.
- 12:18The couple had a son in December of 1995.
- 12:23But unfortunately, it did nothing to curb the abuse.
- 12:27If anything, at a time when this young woman was perhaps
- 12:31the most vulnerable that she had been in her adult life,
- 12:35it arguably grew far worse.
- 12:40He pushed her sexual boundaries, seemingly
- 12:43wanting control of her.
- 12:45And she may have actually inadvertently reinforced
- 12:50his desires and expectations.
- 12:53And this is not victim blaming at all.
- 12:57She's not responsible for what he might have incidentally
- 13:01misconstrued in his own completely disturbed mind.
- 13:06But some of the things that she did at that point
- 13:10in their relationship may have let him think that these behaviors
- 13:15were acceptable.
- 13:16Oh, no.
- 13:18And I think she's just very young.
- 13:20She's vulnerable as just a 21-year-old woman
- 13:25who's dating a significantly older man.
- 13:27But she's also now pregnant with their first child.
- 13:31So before they eventually split in July of 1996,
- 13:37and while she was midway through her pregnancy,
- 13:41Wayne raped her following an argument.
- 13:45And that was at some point in 1995,
- 13:50though it doesn't appear that they called it quits for good
- 13:52right away.
- 13:54They were on again, off again, for much of 1995 and 1996.
- 14:00And it doesn't appear their eventual divorce
- 14:02was final until some time later, quite a few years later.
- 14:07Actually, their divorce papers were sealed once he was in law
- 14:12enforcement custody, which obviously just
- 14:15not coming to later as well.
- 14:18But more of that, I don't really
- 14:21want to talk about my serial killer ex.
- 14:24Oh, right.
- 14:25OK.
- 14:26Though she was extremely wary of protecting their son
- 14:29in October 1997, Elizabeth took their young son
- 14:34to a pumpkin patch in California
- 14:36so that Wayne could invite his friends
- 14:38along to meet their son.
- 14:40Oh, pumpkin patch.
- 14:42I know, spooky season.
- 14:45There are so many reasons why this case--
- 14:49I've actually had it on my radar for a little while.
- 14:51But all of a sudden, the star is aligned.
- 14:54And I think the pumpkin patch, that's just for two
- 14:59at its timing, was spooky season.
- 15:01But there's something else, and I think you'll see why.
- 15:04Oh.
- 15:05I have to think she might have been unaware
- 15:07that following their initial break up
- 15:09and leaving with their young son in tow
- 15:13that Wayne had not only struggled to hold down a job,
- 15:16but that he had also been arrested for animal cruelty.
- 15:21What?
- 15:23Ooh, dick.
- 15:25Yes.
- 15:26So I think you can tell what trigger warning is appropriate here.
- 15:31And if you want to skip this part of the story,
- 15:34it's fairly brief, so you should be missing only maybe
- 15:38a minute or two.
- 15:40And I've actually taken a lot of the details out
- 15:43because I know that they would be particularly upsetting
- 15:46to you right now.
- 15:47I'm scowling.
- 15:49I know.
- 15:50Well, my dog is dead, Kate Len.
- 15:52I know.
- 15:53It's literally the first thing I thought about.
- 15:55I read this on the plane to Austin.
- 15:58And I was like, mother fuck, I am too deep into this.
- 16:01I am not starting over.
- 16:05So I have sanitized this particular section
- 16:09of some of the details that would have made editing perhaps
- 16:14a bit of a challenge.
- 16:16OK.
- 16:17OK.
- 16:18OK.
- 16:19Thank you.
- 16:20Just remember that when you read this or you're hearing it,
- 16:24and you're like, this is so fucking awful.
- 16:27And I'm like, it's so much worse.
- 16:29OK.
- 16:30At the time, he was working as a tow truck driver.
- 16:35The best I can decipher, it appears
- 16:37that the animal in question was one of his employers guard dogs
- 16:42and lived onside at the tow yard.
- 16:44And according to some accounts, both of the dogs
- 16:47were barking at all hours.
- 16:49They're guard dogs.
- 16:51At the time, Wayne was living next to the tow yard.
- 16:56Wayne alleged that he had repeatedly
- 16:58warned the owners that he would kill the dog
- 17:02if it stepped foot on his property.
- 17:04Wow.
- 17:06He worked for these people?
- 17:07Yep.
- 17:08I did not know that in my initial reading of the account,
- 17:14but I've had to-- yay.
- 17:17Read about it several times now.
- 17:20So cool.
- 17:23Yeah, that's what I came to understand.
- 17:25Great employee.
- 17:27Yes.
- 17:28Those may not have been his exact words,
- 17:32but he did mean it, whatever he said at the time, unfortunately.
- 17:39He was supposedly caring for his ex's dog
- 17:43and feared that it would be hurt by the aggressive animal
- 17:46if it intruded onto his property.
- 17:49Which seems like a very convenient excuse.
- 17:54She didn't trust you with her kid.
- 17:55I'm not sure why she would have left her dog with you,
- 17:58but whatever.
- 17:58Interesting.
- 18:00When this all played out as poorly as you might think,
- 18:03in the end, and the dog from the tow yard
- 18:06died by Wayne's hand or rather gun,
- 18:10he was sentenced to just five days jail time for killing it.
- 18:15Of the incident, his former boss stated,
- 18:19he was upset because the dog was barking.
- 18:22That man declined to give his name, by the way,
- 18:25so not just women declining to be associated with him.
- 18:29Makes sense.
- 18:32Quoting further from the bus, he kept firing rounds
- 18:38in the dog after it was dead.
- 18:42It's unclear whether he actually served the time
- 18:45for killing the dog.
- 18:47Why?
- 18:48He should be in jail forever.
- 18:51I mean, spoilers.
- 18:54For the dog, though.
- 18:56Yeah.
- 18:57Wayne's mental health had seriously declined
- 19:00as has probably become abundantly clear.
- 19:03I hope.
- 19:05Yeah.
- 19:06If you're shooting over killing a dog, something is wrong with you.
- 19:11Just a thought.
- 19:12His frustration over his failed marriage,
- 19:15living in a trailer without his son
- 19:18surrounded by the ever-present grinding noise
- 19:20of his new professional endeavor,
- 19:24working at a cement plant as a truck driver,
- 19:27whatever it might have been, he was really actually
- 19:31beginning to snap.
- 19:33Then in October of 1997, Wayne decided
- 19:38to pick up a hitchhiker.
- 19:40Oh, OK.
- 19:42Yeah.
- 19:44And the hitchhiker was the murderer, right?
- 19:48No.
- 19:50Yeah.
- 19:51So the pumpkin patch thing wasn't the only thing
- 19:54happening in October.
- 19:56This young woman was in her early 20s
- 19:58and had dark brown hair.
- 20:01He introduced himself as Adam, which was an alter ego.
- 20:06Was it?
- 20:08Yep.
- 20:09Which is never a good sign.
- 20:11No.
- 20:12Very few people can pull off that kind of nonsense.
- 20:16And let's just say he's a far cry from Yonsei
- 20:19calling herself Sasha Fierce.
- 20:22OK?
- 20:23Like, no.
- 20:25Maybe having introduced her to an alter ego
- 20:28was his way of disassociating from his actions.
- 20:33It doesn't seem too far-fetched, but even
- 20:36if I was a licensed forensic psychologist,
- 20:39I've certainly never spoken to the man.
- 20:41So it's hard to say.
- 20:44In any case, what could have started off
- 20:46as a consensual encounter, though I tend to doubt it,
- 20:50quickly became rough, resulting in Wayne choking her.
- 20:56He stabbed her repeatedly with a hunting knife
- 21:00before beheading and dismembering her.
- 21:04Well, holy shit, that escalated real quickly.
- 21:09So he was planning this, right?
- 21:13Like, I don't know if he was planning the entire thing,
- 21:15but he had a knife handy?
- 21:17I mean, there's definitely--
- 21:19there's an element of premeditation.
- 21:22We'll say that.
- 21:24Because only her torso was discovered in the Ryan slew,
- 21:28just north of Ureca, California, she remained unidentified
- 21:32even after additional remains were discovered
- 21:35in January of 1998 on a different beach.
- 21:40She had likely died less than a handful of days prior
- 21:43to the initial discovery of her remains.
- 21:47Then, almost exactly a year later, down to the day,
- 21:52in October of 1998, another young woman's remains
- 21:56were discovered, that of Patricia and Tames.
- 22:01Wayne was still working as a truck driver at this time.
- 22:05Patricia had been an upper middle class college student
- 22:08until she dropped out.
- 22:10Since then, she had been working as a sex worker
- 22:13and struggling with substance abuse.
- 22:17A friend stated that she had gotten really into crystal meth,
- 22:21and it had since become her primary objective
- 22:24to support that habit, which is generally the case.
- 22:30That is what we call addiction.
- 22:32After Wayne and Patricia came to an agreement regarding
- 22:35the terms of the intended encounter,
- 22:38she joined him in the sleeper cabin of his truck.
- 22:42However, Wayne went off script when he began strangling her,
- 22:46eventually killing Patricia.
- 22:50Her body was found in an aqueduct in San Bernardino, California.
- 22:55She was 29 years old at the time of her death,
- 22:59which would be determined at some point in the course
- 23:01of the investigation to have taken place in Hesperia, California,
- 23:06sometime after she was picked up in Victorville.
- 23:10The entire distance she traveled between getting picked up
- 23:15her death and the callous disposal of her body was roughly,
- 23:20it was just under 40 miles.
- 23:22So that's not a long trip.
- 23:26When authorities arrived at the scene,
- 23:28it was immediately readily apparent
- 23:30that the young woman had been murdered.
- 23:34Oddly, one of her breasts had been removed
- 23:38and could not be located.
- 23:40Oh, why is that a thing?
- 23:44It's a really good question.
- 23:45Excuse the turn of phrase here,
- 23:48but we're going to put a pin in that for now.
- 23:50OK, because first we need to circle back to the months of May,
- 23:56on through September of that same year, 1998.
- 24:01On June 2nd of 1998, near button willow, California,
- 24:06another adorable fucking name town,
- 24:09another young woman's body was found.
- 24:12Tina Renee Gibbs, a Tacoma Washington native,
- 24:16was 26 at the time of her death.
- 24:19She had been killed on May 16th of 1998, near Las Vegas,
- 24:24where she had been working as a sex worker.
- 24:28Later in court, both her mother and stepfather
- 24:31would reflect on her earlier years.
- 24:34Long before she'd begun a relationship
- 24:36with someone her parents didn't approve of
- 24:39and eventually fallen into the trap of addiction.
- 24:43As a teenager, she loved family camping trips
- 24:47and even went along with her mother
- 24:49to visit nursing home patients.
- 24:51Oh, that's really sweet.
- 24:54Just fuck me up.
- 24:56Learning of her murder was surely one version of the nightmare
- 25:00that they'd already envisaged for years.
- 25:04I can't imagine what all had been going through their mind
- 25:07prior to that.
- 25:08It's hard to watch someone go down that path.
- 25:11Yeah.
- 25:12And then eventually, they probably stopped hearing from her
- 25:17for a period of time and that's got to be difficult
- 25:22but in a completely different way.
- 25:26Those several months had passed between the first
- 25:28and second murders.
- 25:30In 1998, things began to escalate quickly.
- 25:36Didn't they already escalate though?
- 25:39Yeah, we're really kind of just in a pattern
- 25:42of continuing escalation.
- 25:45You know me, I hate escalators.
- 25:47Can we just get off the fucking escalator?
- 25:50You actually hate escalators and escalation.
- 25:54Yes.
- 25:55Yeah, accurate.
- 25:56On September 25th, 25 year old Lynette Deon White,
- 26:02a Fontana, California was killed in Ontario, California,
- 26:07not to be confused with the one in Canada, just to be clear.
- 26:12Or Oregon.
- 26:13Yep.
- 26:13There's Ontario all over.
- 26:15All over the place.
- 26:17That was before it's believed her body was thrust
- 26:20from a moving vehicle into a ditch in Lodi, California.
- 26:26Wow, how?
- 26:28Not really sure.
- 26:31It's not a visual that I personally want to dwell on.
- 26:34Yeah, I don't want to visualize it, but I'm just like the,
- 26:37how, how, the logistics of it did one person do that, you know?
- 26:43Yeah, it's puzzling on that end and how they know that.
- 26:48I want to think less about that.
- 26:51Yeah.
- 26:52She had been dead for several days when her body was discovered
- 26:56as evidenced by the advanced state of decomposition
- 27:00that would later be noted in the autopsy findings, which is pretty horrifying
- 27:06for a number of reasons.
- 27:08Not the least of which is that this is a human being.
- 27:11You just brutally murdered and to be so incredibly callous
- 27:16with how you then cast out her remains.
- 27:19So I'm glad we kind of focused in on that same point there.
- 27:25Yeah.
- 27:26I don't get it.
- 27:27I can't wrap my brain around that.
- 27:30Pretty sure that's a good thing, but I hate it.
- 27:36But I'm also considering what most of us, if we're familiar
- 27:41with the city of Lodai, likely associated with, which is wine.
- 27:47Mmm.
- 27:49Yeah.
- 27:50Which wine?
- 27:51Lots of wine, actually.
- 27:53It's funny you mentioned that.
- 27:55Yeah.
- 27:56Lots of wine.
- 27:57So while Lodai is busy growing roughly 40% of the wine grapes
- 28:04produced in the entire state of California, investigators
- 28:09are busy using fingerprint analysis to identify this latest victim.
- 28:14Is it important for you to know that Lodai is the wine grape capital
- 28:19of the world, at least according to the city
- 28:22of Lodai's local government website?
- 28:25Not really.
- 28:26I think it's the harsh contrast between these two aspects
- 28:30of Lodai that are just hitting me in relation to this case.
- 28:34And you know how your girl loves a fun fact?
- 28:38Yeah.
- 28:39You know, just to try to lighten the mood.
- 28:41And if it has to do with wine so much the better.
- 28:45It was better than your boring fact earlier.
- 28:48Yeah.
- 28:49Can we not make that a thing?
- 28:50My boring fact?
- 28:51I give boring facts all the time.
- 28:54But here's the thing.
- 28:57Okay, because seriously Lodai, maybe watch your back
- 29:01because I feel as though there are some very well known wine
- 29:04capitals that may be giving you some side eye.
- 29:08Like, I don't know, Bordeaux, located in France,
- 29:14Adelaide, the southern capital city of Australia.
- 29:19Ooh, light.
- 29:21That's the best I can do.
- 29:23And then, you know, the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:26the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:28the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:30the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:32the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:34the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:36the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:38the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:39the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:41the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:43the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:45the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:47the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:48the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:49the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:50the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:51the capital city of Lodai,
- 29:52you know, sleep with one eye open.
- 29:54(laughs)
- 29:55Hopefully you've enjoyed this segment of Wine Facts
- 29:58because it's about to get really dark here,
- 30:01because there's a little bit more that we need to discuss
- 30:05in relation to Lynette.
- 30:08Unlike some of the other victims
- 30:10that had been discovered up to this point,
- 30:12Lynette's family stated that she was not actively involved
- 30:16in any form of substance abuse
- 30:19or sex work at the time of her death.
- 30:21It shouldn't matter because of course that does
- 30:24not make a victim less dead.
- 30:27Lynette's mother stated that although Ford himself
- 30:30had told investigators that she had engaged in sex work,
- 30:34her daughter was actually just beginning
- 30:37a new role in sales at the time of her death.
- 30:40Aww.
- 30:41Lynette had last been seen by a family member
- 30:44on September 20th.
- 30:46She was headed to a nearby store
- 30:48to get milk for her baby.
- 30:51Lynette had four children,
- 30:53but this was her youngest at just nine months old.
- 30:57She left to go to the store,
- 30:59and then come back with the babies.
- 31:03Mm-hmm.
- 31:05Though her mother's comments had focused on
- 31:08sharing the real story about who Lynette was,
- 31:12her father wanted everyone to know
- 31:14that he did not have a kind
- 31:16or even vaguely neutral word to share
- 31:20about his daughter's killer.
- 31:22And as you might suspect,
- 31:24he hoped that Ford would be shown no mercy,
- 31:27saying, "I want to see him dead.
- 31:30He's already dead to me."
- 31:33Yeah.
- 31:35But I mean, who could blame him?
- 31:38Not only do these poor people have to come to grips
- 31:42with the horrific tragedy of what happened to their daughter,
- 31:46but I'm sure they're the ones who will have to explain it
- 31:49to all of their daughter's children.
- 31:52How do you process your own grief
- 31:55when you're faced with such a gut-wrenching loss
- 31:59and then help your grandchildren
- 32:01to hopefully do the same in a way
- 32:03that doesn't just rip your entire heart
- 32:06and family apart?
- 32:09As horrendous as all of this is,
- 32:12there are still a few more grim details to wrap this case up.
- 32:18In early November, 1998,
- 32:21Wayne walked into a sheriff's station
- 32:24in Northern California with his brother Rodney.
- 32:29After initially confessing his crimes
- 32:31to his brother the day prior,
- 32:34Rodney had spent the remainder of the day
- 32:36trying to convince his brother to turn himself into the authorities.
- 32:40Wow.
- 32:42Rodney.
- 32:44It wasn't just his brother Rodney and his Bible
- 32:46that he brought with him, though.
- 32:50Uh-oh.
- 32:52After tearfully confessing to the murders of four women,
- 32:55he revealed a plastic bag containing a severed breast
- 33:00that would later be identified
- 33:02as belonging to his final confirmed victim,
- 33:06Patricia and Thomas.
- 33:09That's not what I thought you were going to say.
- 33:11I forgot about that part.
- 33:13Yeah.
- 33:15I did say put a pin in it,
- 33:17which if you have read as much about this case as I have,
- 33:20I'm sorry because that's something I left out,
- 33:24but it's really...
- 33:27I don't want to know.
- 33:28Yep. No, you don't.
- 33:29No?
- 33:30No? No, you don't.
- 33:31Oh my gosh, Rodney and his brother had to hear all of this.
- 33:36Yep.
- 33:37And I don't know how much detail he went into with his brother
- 33:41before he went to the authorities,
- 33:44but just hearing like that your brother committed a crime
- 33:49and I'm sure he knew it was murder.
- 33:51Oh, he knew. Yeah.
- 33:52Yeah. He definitely knew it was murder.
- 33:53That's why he convinced him to turn himself in.
- 33:57That's just crazy.
- 34:00Yeah.
- 34:02Wayne told authorities he turned himself in
- 34:05so he wouldn't kill his ex-wife and leave his son in orphan.
- 34:10Wow.
- 34:11That kind of reminds me of not the mother's day.
- 34:17He had a very severe mental health problems
- 34:20and he tried to turn himself in a few times
- 34:22because he didn't want to hurt somebody.
- 34:24Yes. And that he was ashamed of what he was doing.
- 34:28His anger was mostly directed against his wife.
- 34:32But apparently he was only becoming angrier with her each day
- 34:40for keeping their son from him.
- 34:42His lengthy confession appeared by the assessment of law enforcement
- 34:47to indicate that his remorse was earnest
- 34:51and his willingness to share details of the crimes
- 34:55as well as locations of various pieces of significant
- 35:01forensic evidence seemed almost remarkable to them.
- 35:07So it wasn't just like a fake confession type thing.
- 35:10It was like he, I mean, he had a bag of evidence with him.
- 35:15Right. And there was more that he turned over to them via
- 35:21the statement that he made in his confession.
- 35:26This is where we start to sort of unpack what I talked about in part one
- 35:34where he's often referred to as like one of the serial killers
- 35:40like with the conscience.
- 35:42That's right. You did say that.
- 35:45I kind of lost track of that during all of the horrific things I was hearing.
- 35:50Right. Yeah. Who could blame you?
- 35:54Honestly. I think it sounds like some of the local law enforcement
- 36:01that spoke with him.
- 36:03It's sort of, I don't know how to say it other than it almost was like
- 36:08it was gaslighting them.
- 36:10Kind of fucked them up a little bit because they're like,
- 36:12how does somebody do this?
- 36:14But also like he legitimately seems to understand
- 36:18and actually be emotionally affected by the fact that it was
- 36:23so clearly wrong.
- 36:26And I don't know where I land on that.
- 36:29It's, I wasn't there. I didn't see him confess.
- 36:32But it's crazy confusing.
- 36:34But you have to imagine that he did feel that way because he went
- 36:38and confessed or like they weren't putting any heat on him or anything.
- 36:42So yeah, I mean it's, I think it's a tough one.
- 36:47It's not as black and white as probably a lot of what we read
- 36:53and what we hear about would maybe lead us to believe.
- 36:57Yeah, it's very confusing.
- 36:59I don't know.
- 37:00Doesn't make it any less horrible and he's a disgusting dickball.
- 37:04Yeah, absolutely.
- 37:06He is from under cheese.
- 37:09Who?
- 37:10He apparently even implicated himself into other murders,
- 37:14San Bernardino and San Joaquin counties just in case.
- 37:20Just in case.
- 37:21It was the beginning of, say like the whole sentence.
- 37:25Sometimes it's hard to like piece it together.
- 37:28I usually can, but that's why I try to go back like at least a few words.
- 37:34I was like, I want to say the whole thing again.
- 37:37That would take eight.
- 37:39He apparently even implicated himself into other murders
- 37:45in neighboring San Bernardino and San Joaquin counties.
- 37:50Damn.
- 37:51He was held on murder charges in Humboldt County on a million dollars bail.
- 37:57Oh my god, a million dollars.
- 37:59That's a lot.
- 38:01I mean, going back to 1998.
- 38:04Yeah.
- 38:05I mean, now I feel like that we wouldn't even think of that as really being as big of a deal.
- 38:11I know the change spare change you have in a jar in your closet, right?
- 38:16That's what I used to buy my townhouse.
- 38:19No, I mean, it is crazy.
- 38:21Obviously this was like 25 years ago, but it's cute.
- 38:25You think you can get a townhouse for a million dollars.
- 38:29Yeah, like a small one.
- 38:31I was singing more like a shack in someone's backyard.
- 38:35Oh, I mean, it's not quite that bad.
- 38:37I'm exaggerating.
- 38:39In the end, though he claimed to have killed only four women,
- 38:43it's of course possible that there are more unconfirmed victims of Wayne Adam Ford.
- 38:49Do you really think though?
- 38:51Do you really think that he didn't confess to all of them?
- 38:55I think it's interesting that there are two in these neighboring counties
- 39:00that he implicated himself, you know?
- 39:04And yet they are not confirmed victims of his.
- 39:08Oh, right.
- 39:10I do think that because of something we're going to talk about here towards the very end,
- 39:15I think law enforcement is not quite done necessarily examining certain aspects of the case.
- 39:24So it's possible that there could be more updates.
- 39:27Okay.
- 39:28So there was four confirmed two that he claimed he could have done.
- 39:34Yeah, there's two that he's implicated in.
- 39:37And that's a very particular choice set of four.
- 39:41Yes, implicated.
- 39:43So I'm not sure if he just mentioned having maybe run across someone that matched a description of another missing individual.
- 39:52It could be that symbol, to be honest, but I'm not sure.
- 39:57I'm not sure what the nature of that element, that segment of the conversation that they had with him was.
- 40:05It's so hard to say.
- 40:07I know.
- 40:08I just felt like he was confessing so much.
- 40:10He would just like confess to anything and everything he'd ever done.
- 40:14Yeah.
- 40:15And part of me was like, well, maybe it's better if I mean, I want everyone that he's harmed to be able to, you know,
- 40:25get some form of justice, but maybe it's better if he doesn't rattle off.
- 40:31You know, at a certain point, there's a number of serial killers that have claimed numbers far higher than what we can, I mean, even begin to substantiate.
- 40:42And then it makes people just, you know, theorize and we've got these conspiracy theories that ultimately are not very helpful.
- 40:52No. In keeping, keeping the case alive in a way that helps them to be solved.
- 41:00You know, there's nothing practical about that.
- 41:02That makes sense.
- 41:03Right.
- 41:04Yeah.
- 41:05I mean, he didn't seem like he'd be very boastful to lie, but who knows?
- 41:10And I want you to remember that you said that.
- 41:12Okay.
- 41:13Yeah.
- 41:14Though two of his victims remained unidentified initially, when his case went to trial, the jury found him guilty on four counts of first degree murder in 2006 and sentenced him to death.
- 41:30So two of the victims weren't identified.
- 41:33Oh, my goodness.
- 41:35Okay.
- 41:36He currently resides at the San Quentin State Prison in California.
- 41:42As for his ex-wife, Kelly, according to an article dating back to April, 2021, she moved on with a man named Bob that she began dating after her split with Wayne.
- 41:55They eventually married and had a child together.
- 41:58However, from what I can tell, it seems like the couple didn't last.
- 42:02That's based on that same article.
- 42:05Sadly, she also stated that she had been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer and was given about 18 months to live.
- 42:17She talked about how she still carried a lot of guilt, but that at the time of her 2001 interview, she spoke out in hopes of helping someone in a similar situation.
- 42:31Unfortunately, Kelly lost the battle with cancer and passed away in 2020.
- 42:38No.
- 42:41Given the fact that the divorce records from Wayne's other ex-wife, his marriage to Elizabeth, those records were sealed and her family has reportedly declined to comment publicly regarding Wayne's crimes,
- 42:57or really much of anything else following his arrest.
- 43:02There's not really any additional information or updates that I was able to find about her or their son that she raised with out-wing.
- 43:12Gosh, hopefully they're just like in so much therapy and are doing so good.
- 43:20Yeah.
- 43:22Of course, by now he's an adult.
- 43:25Yeah.
- 43:27So it's funny because we look at these things in exactly the same manner because my next sentence, hopefully without the continued influence of his violent father, he has been able to grow into a mature and stable man.
- 43:49I didn't pull at that thread. They have clearly tried to make an effort to keep themselves clear of...
- 43:58I mean, even before he was arrested, I mean, years before, she was like, "I'm out."
- 44:05Yeah.
- 44:06So...
- 44:07I get it, man.
- 44:08Yeah.
- 44:09I think it's understandable.
- 44:11I found another article that shared a story about when Wayne had an encounter with a man that worked in a Christian book and music shop.
- 44:23Remember, he took his Bible with him.
- 44:26Right, okay.
- 44:28Wayne really opened up to him about his struggles throughout his life up to that point,
- 44:34and even revealed reportedly that he was very concerned that he didn't have a conscience.
- 44:42Oh.
- 44:44Before we wrap up, I wanted to share two statements that Wayne has made.
- 44:50The first as the time of his arrest was fast approaching.
- 44:56I hurt some people.
- 44:59I don't want to hurt anyone anymore.
- 45:02Once you see what I have in my pocket, you'll know.
- 45:07This latter statement was made following his arrest.
- 45:13Most serial killers are proud of their work.
- 45:18Not me.
- 45:21Well, that is just so...it's so crazy and sad.
- 45:27Because like his life is ruined, he ruined so many other people's lives for literally no reason.
- 45:36One last thing.
- 45:38Maybe you'll recall earlier in the episode.
- 45:41I said that two of his victims could not initially be identified.
- 45:48Yeah.
- 45:49Well, obviously up until now,
- 45:52at least if you were paying attention and even if you were and you missed it, I've shared the names of three out of the four,
- 46:00so you might have been a little confused.
- 46:02Sadly, the very first woman he killed was a hitchhiker, who remained unidentified until just months ago.
- 46:12Wow, months ago.
- 46:15In June of 2023, Wayne's initial victim was the final of his confirmed victims to be identified.
- 46:26Carrie and Cummings was identified using DNA profiling in combination with genealogy matching.
- 46:34Wow, we're coming for you.
- 46:39Finally, the 25-year-old Eugene Oregon native was identified through the partnership of the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Unit,
- 46:51the California Department of Justice DNA Lab, and AUTHRUM Inc.
- 46:58Wow, that is so cool.
- 47:01Technology, man.
- 47:04When she came back to 1997, Carrie had struggled with untreated mental illness.
- 47:11When she refused to return home to her family, she stayed with friends in the area for a time.
- 47:18These are the details that prevented Carrie from ever even being listed as a missing person or entered into any similar databases.
- 47:29That's going to make it really hard to identify somebody if they're not even reported missing.
- 47:35That didn't stop her family from trying to find her.
- 47:40Wow, they searched the name-is-website when the internet was new.
- 47:46Holy shit.
- 47:47Remember, she went missing before Y2K.
- 47:51Wow.
- 47:53And they even hired a private detective at one point.
- 47:58Now they can finally put her to rest with a proper burial.
- 48:04It's crazy she was the first and then the last to be identified.
- 48:10Yeah.
- 48:13I was like, "How does that happen?"
- 48:15But remember, it's the details of the crime.
- 48:20There are so many factors.
- 48:22The details of her background are what kept her from being even taken down as a missing person.
- 48:29And then the details of the crime itself are what prevented them from being able to identify her because they found a torso.
- 48:40Yeah.
- 48:41Which is so horrific to think about.
- 48:44Would you like to think about something else?
- 48:46Yes, please.
- 48:47Perhaps, to row?
- 48:49I would love to think about some tarot.
- 48:52Let's do it.
- 48:55Okay.

- 49:56You guys, we're back!
- 49:58And don't worry, we did get more wine.
- 50:01Well, of course.
- 50:04Okay.
- 50:09What's this fucker's name again?
- 50:11Wayne Adam Ford.
- 50:14Twatt Hwaffle.
- 50:17Yeah, because his initials are W-A-F.
- 50:21[laughs]
- 50:22Get it.
- 50:24Guys, you get it.
- 50:26Do you get it?
- 50:27Hwaffle?
- 50:28Twatt Hwaffle.
- 50:29Hwaffle.
- 50:30We have our little alters set up over here, but there's no space.
- 50:35I left no space for us to put the cards out.
- 50:39So I'm going to...
- 50:40She's cheating.
- 50:41I'm going to...no, I'm not cheating.
- 50:44That's so rude.
- 50:45I'm spreading them out so I can do a pull.
- 50:48Okay.
- 50:51Page of Pinticle.
- 50:53Pinticle.
- 50:55I'm separating the two halves of the deck so that if we want to pull another one,
- 51:01we know where we left off.
- 51:05Okay.
- 51:06Kind of fall colors.
- 51:08Kind of goes with our vibe.
- 51:10Looks like she has orange shoes.
- 51:12Maybe they're red, I can't tell.
- 51:14Yeah, they're like orangey red.
- 51:16Yeah, and it looks like there's leaves on the ground, but those might be flowers, I don't know.
- 51:20Anyway.
- 51:21Hard to say.
- 51:22Okay.
- 51:23Page of Pinticles.
- 51:24Our keywords are study, developing resources, naivety, curiosity, potential, and service.
- 51:36Pages often represent the early stages of a matter or a time of study and gaining skills.
- 51:44Some tarot packs picture the page of Pinticles as a young person gazing at a Pinticle as if trying to understand it.
- 51:52Oh, interesting.
- 51:55If this card represents an actual person, it's probably someone young, intelligent, hardworking, and ambitious.
- 52:05I feel like that kind of just relates to all the women.
- 52:10Yeah, maybe.
- 52:11They were young, they were.
- 52:13Yeah, and the page oftentimes is, we've talked about it before in other readings where it's kind of a gender-bending card, especially with the modern witch deck.
- 52:25Because it's spoopy seasons, I wanted to do the modern witch deck.
- 52:30And then, you know, witchiness happening behind us.
- 52:36So, our eight.
- 52:37The page of Pinticles can point to the everyday details of your life and advise you to take care of them.
- 52:45This may refer to your work, possessions, or health.
- 52:49In some cases, this card may indicate naivety on a financial or in a practical area.
- 52:58You're learning how to live in the real world.
- 53:01The page can also show you performing a service for someone.
- 53:07In a reading about money, this card may refer to contracts or other paperwork related to money, possessions, or property.
- 53:15The page upright may describe the early stages of a project when you're discussing possibilities, seeking financial support, or laying the groundwork.
- 53:25And then, you're advised to learn all you can about a money matter.
- 53:31If the reading is about your job, you may be preparing yourself for a career or a career change.
- 53:39Oh, we did have, it was Lynette, who had just changed jobs.
- 53:45She was starting in a new role in sales.
- 53:49Oh, that's interesting.
- 53:52She was in a position in business, health care, or the trades could be profitable.
- 53:59Interesting.
- 54:01He worked for that cement plant.
- 54:04He did a great job.
- 54:06He did have a bunch of different jobs.
- 54:08He did.
- 54:09He's kind of always changing jobs.
- 54:12The page advises you to work hard and learn all you can in order to reach your goal.
- 54:19In a reading about love, you may be more concerned with security, stability, and the practical aspects of a relationship than with romance.
- 54:31This card can also indicate meeting a partner through work.
- 54:36He was always driving.
- 54:39Oh, oh, I don't like that.
- 54:41I was thinking about kind of the girlfriends and how you said one of them at least stayed like way too long and...
- 54:48Yeah.
- 54:49I'm sure that was for stability reasons.
- 54:53That's true.
- 54:54I mean, I guess fear too could make you stay, but definitely fear.
- 54:58A lot of it, I'm sure, was financial stability type of reasons?
- 55:04Yeah, I would think so.
- 55:06It's interesting that it picked up on this card that it just doesn't feel like has a lot of other parallels at least that what I'm thinking about.
- 55:17I think after you finished, I immediately tried to forget everything you said.
- 55:26Really?
- 55:27From the story.
- 55:28I was like, I'm having trouble recalling details from the story.
- 55:33Yeah.
- 55:34I think the thing that jumps out at me is there's so many phases of his life where it was like...
- 55:39It says he's doing these odd jobs to make ends meet or he would get a job that he would get fired or he would screw up or whatever.
- 55:48It's interesting.
- 55:49Maybe it just picked up on that.
- 55:53And I'm wondering if maybe holding the two ends of the deck out was a good move.
- 55:59Maybe there's another card next to it that...
- 56:02I don't know.
- 56:03Yeah.
- 56:04Why don't you look if that's what you're feeling.
- 56:06I'm going to, but I'm going to read you this extra excerpt first.
- 56:11It says what one does is what counts and not what one had the intention of doing.
- 56:20Okay.
- 56:21Well, like that really is.
- 56:23Yeah.
- 56:24With like the whole conscience thing, like you still did it.
- 56:30Yeah, you can feel bad about it, but you still did it.
- 56:34Yeah, I think that's really true.
- 56:37That for me rings very true in this case.
- 56:40Can you read that again?
- 56:42What one does is what counts and not what one had the intention of doing.
- 56:49Yeah.
- 56:50I mean, good intentions are just that.
- 56:53It doesn't mean a whole lot more than that.
- 56:58Who knows if he ever did have any good intentions though?
- 57:01I mean, he never had a conscience.
- 57:04I mean, I think to me, I sort of, I sort of started to spiral because I was having that same
- 57:10thought as I'm researching and writing this, but I sort of went back to you hear this all the
- 57:17time where people start reading about like a sociopath, right?
- 57:22Or you hear about this, a similar argument when somebody is a narcissist.
- 57:29If you're concerned about it, you aren't one because they don't, you know what I mean?
- 57:35Yeah.
- 57:36So like to me, it almost was like, I don't know, I go back and forth.
- 57:41Is that something, can you like develop a conscience over time?
- 57:45I, you know, just from like seeing how other humans are.
- 57:51I mean, at that point, are you actually developing a conscience or are you, are these just learned behaviors?
- 57:58Yeah.
- 57:59Is the idea that there's a reward system for, you know, not killing people?
- 58:05Is that just more appealing than having people like dislike you or do you really mean?
- 58:12Yeah, it's interesting.
- 58:14Interesting thoughts.
- 58:15I don't like that.
- 58:17I'm going to look at a card that was underneath here at the bottom of the deck.
- 58:22Oh boy.
- 58:25It's the five of swords in reverse.
- 58:30Oh, okay.
- 58:31So does that not just like look, it looks like a man kind of turning back and looking sort of?
- 58:38I don't know if it's angrily or in a four-learn way.
- 58:43It's hard to tell.
- 58:45I mean, and in this instance, especially knowing what we do about this deck, I think that's actually supposed to be more of an endrogenous character.
- 58:54Yeah, it's just like a masculine energy, you know?
- 58:58But just, I mean, that's the picture that I get.
- 59:02Yeah.
- 59:03There's two other characters like in the foreground and there's two swords on the ground and then three that they're holding.
- 59:14So everything that I was saying about the picture holds true when you look at the traditional deck.
- 59:18So I'll show you this after.
- 59:20Keywords are change, adjustment, loss, destruction, conflict, indecision and sadness.
- 59:29Right on for this one.
- 59:32The number five signifies change and this card shows the time of adjustment after a conflict of some kind.
- 59:40Sometimes the fight stems from ideological or spiritual differences.
- 59:45I could say that yes.
- 59:48I do have some ideological and spiritual differences with the surely all of us do.
- 59:56The writer, Wade Smith, Aquarian and some other decks show a soldier on the battlefield at the end of a fight.
- 1:00:04The card asks, what have you won or lost?
- 1:00:08Was it he a soldier?
- 1:00:09He was.
- 1:00:10I always say soldier.
- 1:00:12I mean, he was actually in the Navy, I believe.
- 1:00:18Yeah.
- 1:00:19I was like trying to remember what you had said.
- 1:00:21Reverse the five suggests pretty much the same thing as it does upright.
- 1:00:26Thank you.
- 1:00:27One of those.
- 1:00:28When the card appears reversed in a reading, however, you may feel a great sense of remorse, regret and unhappiness.
- 1:00:41Yeah.
- 1:00:42Okay.
- 1:00:43Holy shit.
- 1:00:44I just got like the chills all over my body.
- 1:00:50Definitely.
- 1:00:52Remorse.
- 1:00:53But is it genuine remorse or is he like, are you just magic at caught?
- 1:01:02But he didn't get caught.
- 1:01:04To me, this seems like right.
- 1:01:07Yeah.
- 1:01:08I do have had some kind of remorse because he didn't get caught.
- 1:01:11He didn't offer any of that.
- 1:01:12Yeah, that's true.
- 1:01:13That's true.
- 1:01:14Sometimes it shows you making repairs or reparations after a conflict, trying to set things right
- 1:01:23and learning from your suffering.
- 1:01:26Did he ever try to do anything like for the family, is there anything like that?
- 1:01:32I didn't see any indication of that necessarily.
- 1:01:35But he did certainly make illusions too that like the reason why he turned himself in was that he didn't want to leave his son in orphan.
- 1:01:46Right.
- 1:01:47And so he's trying to take something that he's done horrifically wrong and not make it worse at least.
- 1:01:54Yeah.
- 1:01:55Reflecting on that, I don't.
- 1:01:57Yeah, it's.
- 1:01:58Oh, boy.
- 1:02:00The reversed five can indicate losses after a fight, perhaps a legal matter or squabbling over an inheritance.
- 1:02:09I don't think it's the latter.
- 1:02:12Yeah, probably not.
- 1:02:13In the end, no one really wins and you may experience regret.
- 1:02:19It is interesting though that they said squabbling and that's kind of like a sibling thing.
- 1:02:24And he like went with his brother.
- 1:02:26Yeah.
- 1:02:27That's such a good insight.
- 1:02:29That's.
- 1:02:30Thank you.
- 1:02:31Squabbling, I really think of as being a word like when two siblings are in the back seat, like don't make me pull this car over.
- 1:02:39Quit just squabbling back there.
- 1:02:41Seriously.
- 1:02:42Oh, shit.
- 1:02:43This is just unreal.
- 1:02:45If the reading is about your job, struggles with bosses or co-workers may cause hard feelings or impede your progress.
- 1:02:54Yeah.
- 1:02:55I'll say.
- 1:02:56A conflict may damage your chances for advancement.
- 1:03:00Like if you are institutionalized, conflicts with your employer, like when you, the dogs situation.
- 1:03:08Yeah, that too.
- 1:03:10Yeah.
- 1:03:11That too he had so many conflicts in his own workplace.
- 1:03:15Any had conflicts with his ex-wife's workplace.
- 1:03:19Remember, he thought she was cheating with one of her co-workers and then they ended up getting together.
- 1:03:24Yeah.
- 1:03:25It says, perhaps causing you to change jobs under unfavorable circumstances, which understatement in this situation.
- 1:03:36Okay.
- 1:03:37In a reading about love, this card can indicate mourning the loss of a relationship or regretting a decision made in the heat of an argument.
- 1:03:48Like maybe you got, you had a few too many.
- 1:03:51You really tied one on and then you thought, I am literally going to put on all my camo gear and lay out on the lawn and wait.
- 1:04:03That is just the craziest thing.
- 1:04:06Yeah.
- 1:04:07Regretting a decision made in the heat of an argument.
- 1:04:10Wow.
- 1:04:11Well, you said they were arguing too when he did the bad thing.
- 1:04:15Mm-hmm.
- 1:04:16Yeah.
- 1:04:17Perhaps you feel betrayed, which is certainly something that he expressed.
- 1:04:24In some cases, however, it can suggest trying to repair the damage and make constructive changes, perhaps with the help of therapy.
- 1:04:35Yeah.
- 1:04:36Mental health is important.
- 1:04:38Wow.
- 1:04:39Wow.
- 1:04:40Can't believe it.
- 1:04:42It's something about therapy and we're just like talking about mental health.
- 1:04:47Oh, my God.
- 1:04:48Okay.
- 1:04:49So here is, for me, the significance of kind of the imagery, but also numerically.
- 1:04:56So there are two women.
- 1:04:58They have their backs to this person who's holding the swords.
- 1:05:02And remember, there were two victims that were initially unidentified.
- 1:05:06Yeah.
- 1:05:07They're both now identified.
- 1:05:12We have three swords that this person was holding onto and up until very, very recently.
- 1:05:19His first victim was not identified.
- 1:05:22Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:23Three of them.
- 1:05:24It was almost like it was still.
- 1:05:27Yeah.
- 1:05:28Do you think there's a fifth?
- 1:05:30I don't.
- 1:05:31I don't think so.
- 1:05:33I mean, you wouldn't.
- 1:05:34None of us would know.
- 1:05:35But yeah, I mean, it's so hard to say the other thing is I think there's, you know,
- 1:05:40there's two that it's like they're still.
- 1:05:44It's like people, they're figures that are standing, right?
- 1:05:47And then there's two that are on the ground.
- 1:05:50And it's like those two are the two that were unidentified.
- 1:05:54I don't know.
- 1:05:55It's just he has four victims, right?
- 1:05:59And it's the five of swords.
- 1:06:01Yeah.
- 1:06:02I don't know.
- 1:06:03I'm just seeing a lot of significance there with kind of where the swords are positioned.
- 1:06:09And yeah.
- 1:06:10Well, I mean, he had more than just the victims that he murdered.
- 1:06:15He had rape victims.
- 1:06:17Right.
- 1:06:18Who God knows what the fuck else he did.
- 1:06:22Yeah.
- 1:06:23Yeah.
- 1:06:24Who?
- 1:06:25Anybody else feel like they need a shower?
- 1:06:28Or is that just me?

- 1:10:11No, thank you.
- 1:10:12Unless it's gonna help somebody, I guess.
- 1:10:14I was like actually confess more.
- 1:10:19Yeah, confess more, but also don't do the thing in the first place to have to confess to
- 1:10:24it.
- 1:10:25Yeah.
- 1:10:26You know, does that make sense?
- 1:10:27Yes, I agree.
- 1:10:28I concur.
- 1:10:29Okay, but really though.
- 1:10:31Bye.

- 1:11:17Better than butt-chugging.
- 1:11:18I was just thinking that face-chugging better than butt-chugging.
- 1:11:22Outtake, outtake, anyone?
