Transcript
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Notice the weight of your body right now, the places where you meet the surface beneath you.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Let that be the only thing you need to notice for a moment.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Something happened or something might, a plan shifted, or hasn't landed yet, and your mind has been circling it, trying to think its way to solid ground.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Before you think about it any further, let's just feel it.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Your body already knows where this lives.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: Not where you think it should go, wherever it actually goes.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: A held breath sitting just under your collarbone.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Is there a clenching somewhere lower?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Your stomach, your jaw, the backs of your hands.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Like they want to move even though there's nowhere to go.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Uncertainty doesn't live in one place.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: It moves.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Today it might be your shoulders.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Tomorrow, your stomach.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: You're not trying to fix it.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: You're just finding it.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: That's the whole practice right now.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Finding it and staying close to it instead of running from it into your thoughts.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: There's a version of you who's already been here.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Not because the uncertainty resolved.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: A lot of the time it hadn't yet, but because you stopped needing it to resolve before you could feel steady.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: There was a time it felt like steadiness had to come after the answer.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Like your body wasn't allowed to rest until you knew how this would turn out.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: That's not true anymore.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: The steadiness can come first from what's true in your body right now, even while the rest stays unknown.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: You don't have to wait for the plan to feel okay.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: You can feel okay and still not know both of those are true at the same time.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Not the answer, just the steadiness.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Let your feet root into the floor, heavy and unhurried.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Let your spine lengthen slightly the way it does when something in you decides it's safe enough to stand tall without needing certainty.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: First, let your next breath move a little slower than the one before it, not forced, just slower because there's nowhere urgent for it to be.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: This is what it feels like to meet the unexpected with your body instead of just your thoughts.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: It's quieter than you'd expect.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Let these affirmations land one at a time.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Place a hand on your chest or your stomach, wherever feels most honest right now.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Feel it as you say it.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: I am steady even without an answer.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Let that be enough for today.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Feel your feet, feel the surface beneath you.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Whatever isn't resolved yet is still allowed to be unresolved.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Your body already found a way to be okay inside it.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: When you're ready, carry that with you.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: You don't need the whole picture to feel steady in this one.
