- 0:23Speaker 1: It is time leave your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:27Speaker 1: us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley. That's Trade Trendholme.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Today is Wednesday, April second, two thousand and one, T
- 0:37Speaker 1: five Tray. In the past couple of weeks, we've talked
- 0:41Speaker 1: about a couple of interesting bills that the Texas State
- 0:44Speaker 1: Legislature is going to be working on in its upcoming session. Well,
- 0:50Speaker 1: the state of Idaho saw all the fun we've been
- 0:54Speaker 1: having in Texas and decided to join the fray. I'm
- 1:01Speaker 1: going to play you, Trey, just a little bit of
- 1:03Speaker 1: audio during a recent debate inside the Idaho legislature. Okay,
- 1:09Speaker 1: it's very serious stuff. It's the making of laws state
- 1:12Speaker 1: by state. It's integral to our society to make laws
- 1:18Speaker 1: and in this case, make states better for all of us.
- 1:24Speaker 1: So here now audio from a recent debate inside the
- 1:27Speaker 1: Idaho Legislature.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I've also heard an argument about this bill saying, well,
- 1:34Speaker 2: it could penalize people who put certain things on their
- 1:40Speaker 2: trailer hitches. I don't you know, there's I don't think
- 1:43Speaker 2: we need to go into that, but there's certain things
- 1:46Speaker 2: people put on their trucks that look like the part
- 1:49Speaker 2: of look like part.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Of a male anatomy.
- 1:51Speaker 3: They call them truck.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Nuts.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They're gross, they're offensive, and kids on the road see them.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So yeah, uhh, I look, I give this century a
- 2:06Speaker 1: lot of crap, but some days it really it is
- 2:10Speaker 1: really looking up and this is one of them.
- 2:15Speaker 5: What are they doing in Idaho?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I mean, they're they're cracking down, Drey, They're cracking down
- 2:22Speaker 1: on truck nuts.
- 2:23Speaker 6: I uh, I guess I'm a little shocked because I
- 2:28Speaker 6: sell them. Ever see truck nuts in Texas and I would.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Think I thought you said you sell them. I'm like,
- 2:34Speaker 1: when did you start an etsy with truck nuts? Okay?
- 2:39Speaker 1: You sell them?
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah? I mean, so.
- 2:44Speaker 6: What what are they doing over there in Boise that
- 2:46Speaker 6: they that this is such a plague that they have
- 2:50Speaker 6: to take it up with the state legislature.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Their trucks that look like the part of look like
- 2:56Speaker 2: part of a male anatomy.
- 2:58Speaker 3: They call them truck nuts. They're gross, they're offensive, and
- 3:02Speaker 3: kids on the road see them. So why wouldn't the
- 3:05Speaker 3: police get a call and say that offends me, pull
- 3:07Speaker 3: it off the truck Because now this bill will allow it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: The bill that that state legislator and the one before
- 3:15Speaker 1: her is referring to is the one that the Idaho
- 3:18Speaker 1: governor signed into law. It's a bill that criminalizes the
- 3:21Speaker 1: public exposure of breasts, male breasts altered to look like
- 3:26Speaker 1: female breasts, artificial breasts, and toys or products that resemble
- 3:31Speaker 1: journital aka truck nuts. Sweeping changes in the state of Idaho.
- 3:48Speaker 5: I know, man, I know, I mean, so.
- 3:55Speaker 6: It's illegal for female you said female breast or yes,
- 4:00Speaker 6: male breasts that he has to look like female breasts.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Yes, both, Idaho. Idaho Governor Brad Lintle signed in the
- 4:07Speaker 1: law a bill that criminalizes the public exposure of boobies.
- 4:10Speaker 1: House Bill two seventy updates Idaho's Indecent Exposure Law, which
- 4:14Speaker 1: already bans public exposure of genitals, to include female boobs,
- 4:19Speaker 1: male boobs altered to look like female boobs, artificial boobs,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and toys or products that resemble genitals. Breastfeeding is exempt.
- 4:27Speaker 1: The bill takes effect immediately through an emergency clause. The
- 4:30Speaker 1: governor signed the bill last Wednesday, and supporters say the
- 4:34Speaker 1: bill will protect decency and modernize Idahose indecent indecent Exposure law.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Opponents say it could unduly punish transgender Idahoans and males
- 4:43Speaker 1: experiencing hormonal conditions that enlarge breasts, well, that really is
- 4:47Speaker 1: not a problem as long as you're not whipping them out.
- 4:50Speaker 6: I mean, again, what are they doing in Idaho? But
- 4:56Speaker 6: even more than if you think trut nuts are a
- 5:00Speaker 6: scourge and you were worried about young people seeing them.
- 5:05Speaker 6: If that, if you are going to outlaw them, then
- 5:08Speaker 6: you also have got to ban the old guy at
- 5:11Speaker 6: the gym who stretches and does everything and with no towel,
- 5:18Speaker 6: preach brother, because no one wants to see the old
- 5:22Speaker 6: guy's saggy balls when he's just standing there with one
- 5:26Speaker 6: leg on the bench, talking or doing whatever. That is
- 5:29Speaker 6: a far more, far bigger scourge on the society. Let's
- 5:32Speaker 6: address that first and then worry about triton Minutes.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Later, I solute you that's the lord's work right there, huh.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Because locker rooms are public spaces.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And I cannot tell you how many times I've been
- 5:51Speaker 1: seated on the bench and turned my head to respond
- 5:54Speaker 1: to a question from a gentleman, only to be faced
- 5:59Speaker 1: with things I don't want to see. I never wanted
- 6:02Speaker 1: to see, I didn't ask to see, and I don't
- 6:04Speaker 1: want to ever see, especially that up close and personal
- 6:10Speaker 1: and stretching, like, let me just get in there. Yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: no more deep stretches. No more deep stretches at the
- 6:24Speaker 1: in the gym locker room. That's that's the bill I
- 6:26Speaker 1: want signed. You hear that, Lieutenant Governor Patrick. You hear that,
- 6:30Speaker 1: Governor Abbit? No more deep? Sorry? Is that insensitive to
- 6:34Speaker 1: Governor Abbit? Since he can't do the deep stretches and
- 6:38Speaker 1: unfortunately he doesn't even know if he's hanging brain.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Easy?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Oh, it's definitely in poor taste. I'm just spitball in here.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Oh that was bad lutes.

- 8:52Speaker 1: Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Mallick. He is Trey Trenholme. Today
- 8:54Speaker 1: is Wednesday, April second, twoenty twenty five. Death is sad,
- 9:00Speaker 1: but sometimes it can be kind of funny, especially the obituaries.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We love a good obituary here inside the show, and
- 9:09Speaker 1: we have a new one for you, and not surprisingly,
- 9:12Speaker 1: it's out of Florida. A Florida man is being remembered
- 9:15Speaker 1: for leading a life consisting of Marlborough's fast women and
- 9:18Speaker 1: Ford broncos. That's according to the obituary published last week.
- 9:23Speaker 1: His name was Arthur Nixon Bates the fourth. Based on
- 9:28Speaker 1: that name, you would expect him to be royalty or something.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And while he may not have royal lineage, you know
- 9:36Speaker 1: from a king or a queen, like if you could
- 9:40Speaker 1: have Florida royalty, this kind of what it would sound like.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Arthur Nixon Baits the fourth died on March fifth, twenty
- 9:47Speaker 1: twenty five. His obituary was published in the Tampa Bay
- 9:50Speaker 1: Times about two weeks later, with the author stating that
- 9:53Speaker 1: Baits succumbed to his life of drugs and other life choices.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Would you like for me to read to you tray
- 10:00Speaker 1: the obituary of mister Arthur Bates. Yes, please, Okay, let
- 10:05Speaker 1: me find some music here do you do you? I
- 10:12Speaker 1: feel like that's I feel like that's more fitting than
- 10:16Speaker 1: although it's it's tempting to go the other more obvious route. Yeah,
- 10:26Speaker 1: I guess we'll go with that.
- 10:27Speaker 5: One, okay.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Arthur Nixon baits the Fourth On March fifth, twenty twenty five.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Nick succumb to a life of drugs, Marlboroughs, fast women
- 10:49Speaker 1: and Ford Broncos. He survived by three daughters, none of
- 10:55Speaker 1: whom know how they will get by without Dad calling
- 10:58Speaker 1: to ask for twenty dollars for cigarettes and methadone one
- 11:05Speaker 1: last time. That's actually mostly it's a very short obituary,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'm guessing since if he's hitting up the kids for
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know, twenty bucks or smokes and methadone, he probably
- 11:17Speaker 1: didn't set aside a whole lot for the funeral and
- 11:19Speaker 1: the obituary. So although brief, like his life, the obituary
- 11:24Speaker 1: is quality.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Yeah, And honestly, like rock and Roll all Night would
- 11:30Speaker 6: have been a good tune.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that would have been a good one. That
- 11:36Speaker 1: would have been the soundtrack to his death. Yeah, because
- 11:40Speaker 1: when when when I when I read the obituary, and
- 11:44Speaker 1: because it's short, I'll read it again on March fifth,
- 11:48Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, Nick siccumb to a life of Drugs,
- 11:51Speaker 1: Marlborough's Fast Women and Ford Broncos.
- 11:55Speaker 4: See.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I like to think that the way he died was
- 11:59Speaker 1: probably the way he lived based on that obituary. So
- 12:02Speaker 1: in my mind, what killed him or what the scenario,
- 12:06Speaker 1: what the scene looked like was he's high on drugs,
- 12:11Speaker 1: he's smoking and in a Ford Bronco. There was a
- 12:16Speaker 1: woman driving it very fast that he's gotten into an
- 12:18Speaker 1: argument with and she runs him over. Well, she also
- 12:21Speaker 1: is smoking and high on drugs, leading to a very
- 12:25Speaker 1: very perfect Florida death. That's how I envisioned it anyway.
- 12:31Speaker 6: You know, it just uh, it's the Bronco thing that
- 12:36Speaker 6: doesn't really fit for me. It feels like it to
- 12:38Speaker 6: be a firebird.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Hmm. That does feel like it would be more Florida accurate.
- 12:48Speaker 1: But if you're gonna run, if you're gonna run over
- 12:51Speaker 1: Florida man and a firebird, he's probably gonna get hung
- 12:54Speaker 1: up in that thing.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Eh.
- 12:56Speaker 1: The Bronco just go clean over, you know. Oh. He
- 13:05Speaker 1: was cremated at Affinity Cremation in Brandon, Florida. You can
- 13:10Speaker 1: view his guest book. You can view all sorts of
- 13:13Speaker 1: obituaries at legacy dot com and if you would like,
- 13:16Speaker 1: you can plant trees in his memory just visit the
- 13:20Speaker 1: Sympathy store.
- 13:26Speaker 5: Planting trees thing.
- 13:27Speaker 6: I can't figure out if I think that's a scam
- 13:28Speaker 6: or not, because that's the new in vogue thing.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Really, yeah, I know that. In most of the funerals
- 13:37Speaker 1: I've attended or whatever, A lot of times like donations
- 13:40Speaker 1: can be made in the name of certain charity, especially
- 13:42Speaker 1: if it's affiliated with the cause of death of the individual,
- 13:49Speaker 1: like in this guy's case. I think it would have
- 13:50Speaker 1: made sense to have a donation to a methadone clinic,
- 13:52Speaker 1: but instead it's the plant of tree thing. So that's
- 13:56Speaker 1: the new funeral trend.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Yes, that's uh.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Anytime you go to see an obituary or whatever, you
- 14:05Speaker 6: want to send flowers, whatever, there's always the do you
- 14:07Speaker 6: want to plant a tree in their memory? Sometimes it'll
- 14:10Speaker 6: even give you, you know, different parks you can do it.
- 14:12Speaker 6: And but I did it for one person and then
- 14:14Speaker 6: and like a week later it came back, Oh, your
- 14:17Speaker 6: tree has been planted.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Really have you gotten it done that fast?
- 14:19Speaker 1: I don't see stuff like that.
- 14:21Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I'm suspicious of it. I'm a little skeptical because it's
- 14:26Speaker 1: while it's here on earth, it reminds me a little
- 14:28Speaker 1: bit of the name of star thing that's it up there. Okay, yeah, okay,
- 14:31Speaker 1: then you can't just claim that although it's a very
- 14:33Speaker 1: earthly thing to do claimed and the tree thing, it
- 14:37Speaker 1: seems like it'd be really easy to just take a
- 14:39Speaker 1: photo and it might be a photo of the same
- 14:41Speaker 1: tree over and over again. They get sent to this
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the people who buy a tree in memoriam of
- 14:46Speaker 1: someone that has passed, can you actually go to that tree?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Is there any sort of a marking on that tree
- 14:51Speaker 1: that you know, Hey, here's Grandpa's tree or in this case,
- 14:54Speaker 1: Arthur Nixon bits the fourth tree. How do we know
- 14:57Speaker 1: that's that's his tree? Is there a photo of him
- 15:01Speaker 1: on it?
- 15:03Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:04Speaker 6: You're not gonna get a letter telling you that, you know,
- 15:07Speaker 6: telling you what the tree is doing and what it's
- 15:09Speaker 6: doing with your money?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, or what happens, God forbid, there's a forest fire,
- 15:15Speaker 1: or what happens if you know, logging makes a comeback
- 15:18Speaker 1: in the United States, and you know the tree that
- 15:21Speaker 1: you bought for you know, uncle Joe a few years back,
- 15:24Speaker 1: is is now you know college r old paper or
- 15:29Speaker 1: are these or a cigarette? Yeah, I don't want Uncle
- 15:32Speaker 1: Joe getting smoked again.
- 15:41Speaker 4: You're listening to the tree House. Visit is online that
- 15:44Speaker 4: Treehouse on air dot com.

- 16:07Speaker 1: of duty. And we've been very fortunate over the years
- 16:10Speaker 1: to partner with some outstanding companies wanting to help. And
- 16:14Speaker 1: today we get to add Cook DFW's name to that
- 16:17Speaker 1: list of excellent sponsors to the foundation because Daniel, you

- 16:31Speaker 9: Carrie has given to the foundation for quite so many years.
- 16:35Speaker 9: But now at a company level, I think we are
- 16:38Speaker 9: wanting to definitely you know, beefed up and start giving
- 16:42Speaker 9: back to the foundation and it's unfortunately, this is a
- 16:45Speaker 9: foundation nobody wants to have to donate to, but it's
- 16:49Speaker 9: the real world is that these things do happen, and
- 16:52Speaker 9: it's the type of foundation that you don't want around,
- 16:55Speaker 9: but you definitely want it to be, you know, available
- 16:58Speaker 9: to the families that need it. And so over the
- 17:00Speaker 9: next couple of months, you know, a portion of all
- 17:03Speaker 9: the proceeds from the work done from Treehouse Listeners that
- 17:07Speaker 9: call in and let us know that they heard about
- 17:08Speaker 9: you on the show, we're going to be donating to
- 17:11Speaker 9: the RMS tree House Listeners Foundation and making sure that
- 17:14Speaker 9: we can keep that very stable in the accounting side
- 17:19Speaker 9: and have funds available that when the families need it,
- 17:22Speaker 9: it's going to be there. So we're very fortunate to
- 17:25Speaker 9: be a part of the organization and we look forward
- 17:28Speaker 9: to try and assist and help it as much.
- 17:30Speaker 5: As we can.

- 18:31Speaker 1: Back inside the Treehouse now, I'm Daniel Maley. He is
- 18:34Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm. Oh man, I'm surprised we didn't get to
- 18:37Speaker 1: this story last week because it was a huge story.
- 18:39Speaker 1: But you know, we're not always the timeliest of shows,
- 18:42Speaker 1: but we'll get to stuff eventually like this. Like in
- 18:45Speaker 1: this case, a woman stripped down butt naked and terrorized
- 18:49Speaker 1: passengers at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport last week.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Police say they were called for a welfare check and
- 18:57Speaker 1: determined a woman identified as Samantha Palma, had suffered a
- 19:01Speaker 1: manic episode that led to her allegedly stabbing at least
- 19:06Speaker 1: two people with a pencil and biting a restaurant manager
- 19:08Speaker 1: trying to subdue her tray. Did you ever date anyone
- 19:10Speaker 1: named Samantha Palma?
- 19:12Speaker 4: No?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Huh huh, okay, just had to check.
- 19:17Speaker 6: I hold my breath, always, always hold my breath a
- 19:19Speaker 6: little bit when you start these stories out.
- 19:25Speaker 1: She stabbed. Samantha stabbed the manager with his own pencil
- 19:29Speaker 1: as he tried to intervene, causing puncture wounds to his
- 19:32Speaker 1: head and face, while her teeth broke up in skin
- 19:35Speaker 1: on his right forearm and caused immediate bruising. Police say
- 19:39Speaker 1: Samantha Palma was originally found behind an emergency exit door
- 19:43Speaker 1: at Gate D one of Terminal D at DFW, covered
- 19:48Speaker 1: with blood. When officers were able to handcoff her, police
- 19:51Speaker 1: say she told them she wanted to be with the
- 19:54Speaker 1: flowers and was in a forest. The report also says
- 19:59Speaker 1: she identified as several Disney princesses such as Ariel and Polkahontas.
- 20:05Speaker 1: She also called herself Venus. At another point, officers say
- 20:09Speaker 1: she told them she was going to heaven and that
- 20:11Speaker 1: she also came from hell. So let's go to our
- 20:14Speaker 1: crazy woman romance expert trade trun Home Trey. Would you
- 20:18Speaker 1: date a demon?
- 20:20Speaker 6: Uh No, I think I'd probably try to stay away
- 20:22Speaker 6: from I think I have in the past.
- 20:24Speaker 5: But uh, there is Yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 1: That's the answer.
- 20:27Speaker 5: I knew.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I knew it. I didn't even have to like to
- 20:30Speaker 1: tell you ahead of time. I knew you were going
- 20:31Speaker 1: to say that.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 6: So, but you know, they usually disguise and disguise it
- 20:36Speaker 6: on the front end. You don't see it until later on.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's more of a surprise, like it's like everything
- 20:43Speaker 1: seems fine and then you you screw up something you
- 20:46Speaker 1: think is small, and then yeah, it comes out.
- 20:53Speaker 6: What's really sad, though, is you know, even the woman
- 20:56Speaker 6: having a manic episode didn't want to be identified as
- 20:59Speaker 6: snow White.
- 21:04Speaker 1: All the princesses except her. She's bombed at the box office.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I can't be affiliated with snow White.
- 21:11Speaker 6: Sorry, crazy people have standards.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Oh man, this all happened on March fourteenth. By the way,
- 21:21Speaker 1: there's video of the incident, and it is of course
- 21:23Speaker 1: circulated on social media. I just keep I mean, look,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I think we're all keenly aware that there is a
- 21:33Speaker 1: mental health crisis in not just in our country. I
- 21:36Speaker 1: think it's I think it's a worldwide thing. We need
- 21:38Speaker 1: better resources to help those that need it. Unfortunately, sometimes
- 21:45Speaker 1: you don't know the people that need it until they
- 21:48Speaker 1: crawl out of their husk and make themselves seen and heard.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Sometimes it's just a reactive type of thing they do.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Say.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Police said that she admitted she had not taken her medication,
- 22:05Speaker 1: but the specific type of medication is redacted in the report.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I'm guessing for hippae. Police later learned she was traveling
- 22:11Speaker 1: with her eight year old kid, and police said she
- 22:14Speaker 1: told them they traveled to the airport with a car
- 22:16Speaker 1: she manifested.
- 22:20Speaker 5: Yeah, poor kid. Yeah.
- 22:23Speaker 1: On the other hand, if that mom is able to
- 22:25Speaker 1: actually manifest vehicles, I think everything might be okay.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Manifested dad.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I have a feeling she manifested dad. Away.

- 23:29Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, he is Trey,
- 23:32Speaker 1: and this is the good Reverend Marvin Sapp at his
- 23:35Speaker 1: congregation recently and a terrifying thing that, well, I'll let
- 23:43Speaker 1: you be the judge, even though God says, don't do that.
- 23:47Speaker 10: The cost that is involved, there's one thousand of you.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I say it.
- 23:54Speaker 10: Close them doors, ushers, close the doors, close the doors,
- 24:00Speaker 10: close the doors. It's a thousand that's watching online. This
- 24:07Speaker 10: is a small seed.
- 24:09Speaker 5: If I get a.
- 24:10Speaker 10: Thousand on line to give this, if I get a
- 24:12Speaker 10: thousand in the sanctuary to give this, that's forty thousand
- 24:15Speaker 10: dollars tonight. Now, everyone up here, we've all sold in seated,
- 24:19Speaker 10: but I need everyone standing up here with us with
- 24:22Speaker 10: me to plan a seat of one hundred dollars, because again,
- 24:26Speaker 10: it costs to sit up here.
- 24:27Speaker 5: And this is what I need you to do.
- 24:28Speaker 10: If you're giving electronically or even be giving tangibly, I'm
- 24:33Speaker 10: gonna have y'all come to the altar and give it
- 24:35Speaker 10: because I need to see a thousand people moving.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Wow, how about that? If you don't know this man,
- 24:43Speaker 1: this is the alleged good Reverend Marvin Sap. He's a
- 24:47Speaker 1: pastor and gospel singer. He went viral after he was
- 24:50Speaker 1: seen telling church ushers to close the doors while taking
- 24:54Speaker 1: up an offering. This video is not brand new, it's
- 24:58Speaker 1: apparently resurfaced. This moment dates back to a conference that
- 25:03Speaker 1: took place in July of last year, but it went
- 25:06Speaker 1: viral over the past week. He addressed the criticism on Facebook,
- 25:10Speaker 1: denying what some people have called him holding people hostage.
- 25:20Speaker 1: So let's revisit this just now a little bit. This
- 25:22Speaker 1: is the reverence app inside of his church telling the
- 25:27Speaker 1: ushers close the doors and he needs he needs to
- 25:29Speaker 1: raise a certain amount of money.
- 25:31Speaker 10: Been seated, but I need everyone standing up here with
- 25:33Speaker 10: us with me to plan a seat of one hundred dollars,
- 25:36Speaker 10: because again, it costs to sit up here, and this
- 25:39Speaker 10: is what I need.
- 25:40Speaker 1: That's interesting. He didn't say this is a money drive
- 25:44Speaker 1: or a collection for the homeless. It's not a collection
- 25:47Speaker 1: for someone who is sick and their congregation or anything
- 25:50Speaker 1: like that. He's saying it just costs money to do it,
- 25:53Speaker 1: to do the show, to be the to be the preacher.
- 25:57Speaker 5: Yeah, and I mean, look can that watch? You can't
- 26:03Speaker 5: afford that on you know, basic five dollars donations.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's true. Yeah, Jesus never had a watch
- 26:11Speaker 1: like that.
- 26:13Speaker 5: So yeah, I mean it costs money.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Sure. He is a disciple of Kryfflo Dollar.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I really don't think there was a better named TV
- 26:26Speaker 1: preacher than Nope, than mister Dollar.
- 26:29Speaker 10: Need you to do if you're giving electronically or even
- 26:32Speaker 10: giving tangibly, I'm gonna have y'all come to the altar
- 26:36Speaker 10: and get it because I need to see a thousand people.
- 26:38Speaker 5: I need the proof.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I need the proof that you're giving me money.
- 26:43Speaker 10: Bring them baskets. Bring I want the baskets up here.
- 26:45Speaker 10: I want to see the folk. Y'all start moving. Y'all
- 26:49Speaker 10: can bring it right now. Come, Come, come, come, come.
- 26:51Speaker 10: A thousand people need to give twenty dollars. A thousand
- 26:53Speaker 10: people need to give twenty dollars. A thousand people online
- 26:56Speaker 10: you need to give twenty dollars.
- 26:57Speaker 2: This is.
- 26:59Speaker 1: So when you're in a room, and you're in a
- 27:05Speaker 1: room with a bunch of people, and then you tell
- 27:09Speaker 1: those people to give you money, and if they don't
- 27:15Speaker 1: give you money, you're going to lock the doors until
- 27:18Speaker 1: they give you money. I'm pretty sure that's a robbery,
- 27:23Speaker 1: and in the scale of which he's doing it, I'm
- 27:26Speaker 1: almost certain it's a felony. Might also be some kidnapping,
- 27:31Speaker 1: some light hostage taking going on. That doesn't sound like.
- 27:36Speaker 5: A fun church.
- 27:37Speaker 1: This isn't the church where they're doing you know, rock
- 27:40Speaker 1: shows and Santa's flying around in the sky and stuff. No,
- 27:42Speaker 1: this is the one where they're they're locking the doors
- 27:44Speaker 1: and demanding money.
- 27:45Speaker 5: This is a robbery.
- 27:47Speaker 6: Well, clearly Number one, he's raising money for AC because
- 27:51Speaker 6: I mean, did you see.
- 27:52Speaker 5: The sweat stains on his shirt?
- 27:54Speaker 1: The lord's work is is hot and you need you know,
- 28:00Speaker 1: did you need the AC? You're right, maybe that's the problem.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Maybe that's the collection that he's taking up, is that
- 28:06Speaker 1: they need the AC fixed. And that's why he wants
- 28:08Speaker 1: to close the doors so everyone else also sweats, so
- 28:12Speaker 1: that way they get enough money to fix the AC
- 28:14Speaker 1: and then they can all be comfortable and preezing.
- 28:17Speaker 6: I mean, he's at the end of the day, he's
- 28:20Speaker 6: just he's just being more honest about it. You know,
- 28:24Speaker 6: they're just holding you hostage there instead of just you know,
- 28:26Speaker 6: following you around and driving you crazy, calling you an
- 28:29Speaker 6: email in you for donations.
- 28:32Speaker 5: And get it over with, give us the money.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Yeah. So, the Reverend Sap addressed criticism on Facebook, stating
- 28:38Speaker 1: that he wanted to add context to this clip. He
- 28:41Speaker 1: noted that along with instructing two thousand people to give
- 28:43Speaker 1: twenty thousand dollars each, he quote also challenged leadership to
- 28:47Speaker 1: lead by example by sewing one hundred dollars. I didn't
- 28:50Speaker 1: need that further context. I heard you say it. He
- 28:53Speaker 1: also said that evening I personally gave much more. Speaking
- 28:58Speaker 1: about the moment he instructed the ushers right, they're firmly
- 29:00Speaker 1: to close the doors. He clarified he was not holding
- 29:03Speaker 1: people hostage, saying that was not my intent. He said,
- 29:06Speaker 1: movement during this sacred exchange can be distracting and at
- 29:09Speaker 1: times even risky. My directive was not about control. It
- 29:12Speaker 1: was about creating a safe, focused and reverend environment for
- 29:15Speaker 1: those choosing to give and for those handling the resources. Again,
- 29:19Speaker 1: this doesn't sound like a choice. This sounds like a demand.
- 29:23Speaker 1: This sounds like a robbery.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's a take. This.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Take this situation. Take this man, take him out of
- 29:32Speaker 1: a church, put him inside your house, and he If
- 29:36Speaker 1: a man comes into your house and demands money, and
- 29:40Speaker 1: if you don't give it to him, he's going to
- 29:41Speaker 1: lock the doors until you give it to him. What
- 29:44Speaker 1: does that sound like.
- 29:45Speaker 5: To you, Jerry Jones?
- 29:49Speaker 11: Ooh maam wow, yep, I got nothing more to add
- 30:02Speaker 11: to that.

- 30:58Speaker 1: show on social media. This is the Treehouse Show. I'm
- 31:01Speaker 1: Daniel Mallley. He is Trey Trendholm. Today is Wednesday, April second,
- 31:06Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Turning
- 31:14Speaker 1: forty six today, he's the keyboardist from Maroon five. Jesse
- 31:18Speaker 1: Carmichael is forty six. Like I said, the keyboardist. You
- 31:22Speaker 1: get some love today Jesse Carmichael forty six from Maroon five.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Other birthdays today, We've got Michael Fassbender, very very excellent actor.
- 31:33Speaker 1: He's forty seven today. He's known for many mini roles.
- 31:36Speaker 1: He's Magneto in some of the X Men movies. He's
- 31:40Speaker 1: the Androids in Prometheus and the sequel Alien Covenant. He
- 31:44Speaker 1: was also in Assassin's Creed, which that movie just recently
- 31:47Speaker 1: dropped on a platform. I can't remember which one. I
- 31:51Speaker 1: saw the movie when it came out, Like a lot
- 31:52Speaker 1: of gamer type people, I like that game and I
- 31:56Speaker 1: was excited for the movie and ultimately let down. Yeah, Tray,
- 32:02Speaker 1: did you also see the movie three hundred that Spartans
- 32:05Speaker 1: you know versus Xerxes?
- 32:07Speaker 5: No, I have not.
- 32:08Speaker 1: He was in that as well. He was in that
- 32:11Speaker 1: as well. That's the first movie I remember him from
- 32:15Speaker 1: or other Prometheus, yep. He was also in Twelve Years
- 32:19Speaker 1: of Slave. He was also in Inglorious Mastards and again
- 32:22Speaker 1: the aforementioned three hundred, So Michael Fassbender turns, Actually it's
- 32:25Speaker 1: forty eight today, happy birthday, and he was just named
- 32:27Speaker 1: I believe, No, he wasn't. I don't think he was
- 32:32Speaker 1: one of the names released in that Avengers Doomsday release
- 32:35Speaker 1: of the cast.
- 32:36Speaker 5: No, because it's sir Ian McKellen.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, the original Yeah. O. G Magneto gets a
- 32:43Speaker 1: chair on the set. Maybe Fastbender doesn't. And that's the
- 32:46Speaker 1: other thing that's fascinating about these Marvel teases and releases
- 32:51Speaker 1: as people dissect them. So in case you didn't see
- 32:54Speaker 1: it all, the only thing that I saw, I saw
- 32:56Speaker 1: one clip. I saw one video of showing the director's
- 33:02Speaker 1: chair or the actor's chair, right the folding chair of
- 33:04Speaker 1: the cloth on it, showing chair after chair after chair
- 33:07Speaker 1: lined up with the actors' names assigned to them, all
- 33:12Speaker 1: the ones you would expect. Of course, a bunch left off,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and people speculate just based on a video of chairs,
- 33:19Speaker 1: And the only reason that they did it was they
- 33:21Speaker 1: were announcing production has started on Avengers Doomsday. And when
- 33:27Speaker 1: you see all the names, people start dissecting it and
- 33:29Speaker 1: trying to find clues in easter eggs in a line
- 33:32Speaker 1: of chairs with names and they picked up on things
- 33:35Speaker 1: like Michael Fassbender was not among them, Ian McClellan was,
- 33:39Speaker 1: Patrick Stewart was what's his name who played Professor X
- 33:45Speaker 1: next opposite of Michael Fastpender. I'm joon a blink on
- 33:49Speaker 1: his name, James McAvoy. I don't think his name was
- 33:51Speaker 1: on that chair on list either, but then there were
- 33:54Speaker 1: other names that weren't on there that might be. And
- 33:57Speaker 1: at the very end, at the end, it's Robert Downey
- 34:01Speaker 1: Junior who has been cast as Doom and he does
- 34:05Speaker 1: a finger over his mouth going. People are now picking
- 34:09Speaker 1: that apart, saying that that's a clue because his Tony
- 34:12Speaker 1: Stark as iron Man did that in previous movies where
- 34:15Speaker 1: he would thinks, and they think that's a mega clue.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I can't follow this stuff. How do people have the time?
- 34:21Speaker 6: People love to look for all They just try to
- 34:24Speaker 6: find create hitting meetings where.
- 34:26Speaker 5: There is none. But you're talking about chairs.
- 34:28Speaker 6: I mean for both Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, it's
- 34:31Speaker 6: gonna be wheelchairs because they're so damn old.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Patrick Stewart really lucked out there. Yeah, his character's
- 34:37Speaker 1: already in one. Yeah it works out, but you know,
- 34:42Speaker 1: they have to have a contingency, right, because what happens
- 34:47Speaker 1: if one of these old guys dies. I mean, obviously
- 34:51Speaker 1: for the shooting schedule, you shoot their stuff first, don't you. Yeah,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you have to, and you pray that you don't need reshoots.
- 34:57Speaker 1: You better get it right the first time because they
- 34:59Speaker 1: may not be around.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Yeah, and if you have any storylines in other movies,
- 35:03Speaker 6: you better shoot it now.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Kind of like they did with stan Lee. Shoot a
- 35:07Speaker 1: bunch of stuff and one day that'll carry for like
- 35:10Speaker 1: ten twelve years, because eventually he ain't gonna be there.
- 35:15Speaker 1: So anyway, Michael Fastbenders forty eight today. Also newly into
- 35:21Speaker 1: the Marvel Cinematic universe, Pedro Pascal is fifty. Talk about
- 35:26Speaker 1: a guy who's just been relentless in recent years on
- 35:30Speaker 1: the acting front. He's the Mandalorian. He's Joel on the
- 35:34Speaker 1: Last of Us series, which season two comes out I
- 35:37Speaker 1: believe this month. He's from Game of Thrones, in case
- 35:42Speaker 1: you don't remember that, he was Ober and Martel and
- 35:45Speaker 1: he was Dea agent Javier Paigna on Narcos and he
- 35:49Speaker 1: was great in that he gets and never I never
- 35:52Speaker 1: even saw Narcos.
- 35:54Speaker 5: It was it was very good.
- 35:57Speaker 6: But the funny thing is is that his what really
- 36:00Speaker 6: launched him was The Mandalorian, where he really didn't have
- 36:04Speaker 6: to do anything.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but everyone said how good he was, even though
- 36:08Speaker 1: he's wearing a helmet for the vast majority of it.
- 36:10Speaker 5: And talking in monotone. Yeah killed it.
- 36:15Speaker 1: You talk about it's like it's like the ultimate day
- 36:18Speaker 1: for an actor. You don't have to worry about being seen,
- 36:21Speaker 1: and you can just kind of flatly deliver lines and
- 36:24Speaker 1: make bank and become a bigger star than if the
- 36:28Speaker 1: helmet was off and you were using inflection. And he's
- 36:32Speaker 1: also read Richards in the new Marvel Fantastic Four movie
- 36:37Speaker 1: that's coming out this summer, which I'm excited for.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Third times the charm.
- 36:44Speaker 1: We'll see, I hope so man, because this I will admit,
- 36:50Speaker 1: like The Fantastic Four was never one of those that
- 36:52Speaker 1: really spoke to me as a kid. I was like, Okay,
- 36:55Speaker 1: it is what it is. But yeah, we'll see. But
- 36:58Speaker 1: I love the cast. They nailed it on casting. We'll
- 37:01Speaker 1: see if the movie actually is any good. Happy Birthday, Paedropescal.
- 37:07Speaker 1: He's fifty. Oh and he was also in that movie
- 37:09Speaker 1: opposite Nick Cage where Nick Cage plays himself and he
- 37:14Speaker 1: gets hired to buy Pedro Pescal.
- 37:19Speaker 6: Sorry, I haven't seen a Nicholas Cage movie and oh
- 37:24Speaker 6: a long long time.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Hang on, I'm brain farting on the name of it.
- 37:29Speaker 1: About the unbearable weight of massive talent.
- 37:34Speaker 5: Ironic name for a Nicholas Cage movie.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Oh, it's very intentional. Oh, I'm surprised you haven't heard
- 37:41Speaker 1: of this tray. You need to watch the movie. It's
- 37:43Speaker 1: very good. They know what this is. This is this
- 37:44Speaker 1: is one of those movies that it had a goal
- 37:46Speaker 1: and it set out to do it and it nailed it.
- 37:48Speaker 1: And it absolutely it's Nick Cage playing himself and everything
- 37:53Speaker 1: that that implies.
- 37:55Speaker 5: I'll put it on my list.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Put it on your list.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Do it? What be right right above Jim Kotta?
- 38:09Speaker 1: You mean before Jim Cotta?
- 38:10Speaker 6: Right, yes, right right just before just before I get
- 38:15Speaker 6: you know, I kind of.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Think you should see Jim Kotta first, because that way
- 38:19Speaker 1: whatever comes after that you'll love.

- 39:11Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Mally. He's Trade Trendholme. Today's Wednesday, April second,
- 39:14Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Just a little bit more before we
- 39:17Speaker 1: close up the Treehouse for today. We were talking just
- 39:22Speaker 1: a little We were talking just a little bit ago
- 39:24Speaker 1: that it is Pedro Pascal's fiftieth birthday, The Star of
- 39:28Speaker 1: the Mandalorian, The Last of Us that's coming out, so
- 39:32Speaker 1: many other projects, narcost that you mentioned Trey and I.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I just remembered that I saw a handful of days
- 39:39Speaker 1: ago that he's been linked romantically to Jennifer Aniston. Really yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 1: supposedly they had like some three hour dinner date before
- 39:49Speaker 1: he went to the premiere of the Last of Us.
- 39:54Speaker 1: There's the rumors are swirling. I'm not normally a gossip type,
- 39:59Speaker 1: you know, celect pretty romance relationships. The only reason I'm
- 40:02Speaker 1: ever fascinated by celebrity relationships is why they do them
- 40:05Speaker 1: At all in the first place, because they're almost always
- 40:08Speaker 1: doomed to fail. But I will, I will admit on
- 40:12Speaker 1: this one, I help those two crazy kids make it
- 40:14Speaker 1: because those are two people. Even though I don't know them,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I like them.
- 40:20Speaker 6: Yeah, but I've always suspected Anniston's super crazy, Like she's
- 40:25Speaker 6: one of the hottest women in the world, and she
- 40:27Speaker 6: is seldom I mean since Brad Pitt.
- 40:32Speaker 1: And a lot of people have thought that, a lot
- 40:34Speaker 1: of people have thought maybe she's the problem. But based
- 40:37Speaker 1: on recent things we have learned about Brad Pitt, especially
- 40:40Speaker 1: that have come out with his divorce from Angelina Joe Lee, Yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 1: maybe maybe maybe it's.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Him, maybe it's both, could be. I mean, I empathize
- 40:50Speaker 6: with Brad because I mean Annison might be crazy, but
- 40:54Speaker 6: then Angelina Showley, especially at that time, just the jewel
- 40:58Speaker 6: of the hot matrix.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the uh, that's that's that's like the that's
- 41:08Speaker 1: like ground zero kind of a thing.
- 41:11Speaker 5: That's the ark of the craziness.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Yeah, she could be responsible for the big Bang theory
- 41:18Speaker 1: that get started with her in that one moment.
- 41:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 1: So I mean, if if Pedro Pascal and Jenniferaniston are together,
- 41:25Speaker 1: good for them, I wish, I wish them nothing but luck,
- 41:28Speaker 1: and I give them credit for both dating within their
- 41:30Speaker 1: appropriate age bracket. Yeah, that's that doesn't happen very often.
- 41:34Speaker 5: No, especially if you're in Pedro's situation.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Yeah that is true. That is yeah, that is very true.
- 41:44Speaker 1: So uh again, I don't normally fall prey to the
- 41:50Speaker 1: gossip stuff. But I don't know why the Jennifer Andison
- 41:52Speaker 1: thing and Peter Bescalum fans of both. Maybe that's just
- 41:55Speaker 1: because I'm fans of both, and maybe if they're together,
- 41:57Speaker 1: you know what, everyone deserves some happiness.
- 42:00Speaker 5: I'm glad you still have your subscription to us Weekly.
