Speaker 1: with that being said, now we see a totally different Peter.

Speaker 1: Now we see the power of the Holy Spirit falling,

Speaker 1: and the Holy Spirit. When we are empowered by the

Speaker 1: Holy Spirit, we have all power, all authority. We have

Speaker 1: been commissioned by God to go and make disciples. Amen.

Speaker 1: So this is exactly what Peter is doing with the

Speaker 1: boldness to speak to over three thousand people. And let's

Speaker 1: break it down. Let's see what he spoke. And every

Speaker 1: and came into faith, to trusting, to believe in the

Speaker 1: Lord Jesus. Amen. So this is where we pick up

Speaker 1: now he's talking about the resurrection of Christ. So follow

Speaker 1: that they crucified him, but it was God's sovereign will, right.

Speaker 1: But they rejected him. The leaders rejected him, they wanted

Speaker 1: him gone, They killed him, they crucified him, but God

Speaker 1: raised him up. Amen. Having loose the pains of death

Speaker 1: because it was not possible that he should be held

Speaker 1: by it. Amen. Now this is amazing. Death coundnot old

Speaker 1: David was prophetically speaking of the Missaie when he wrote

Speaker 1: the Messiah. Now, Peter, he's building the case right here.

Speaker 1: David wasn't talking about himself. He was looking forward to Jesus.

Speaker 1: That's the beauty of God's word. It's connection, right, you

Speaker 1: can interconnect the scriptures together. God hides Jesus in the tomb,

Speaker 1: That's an amazing promise right there. He therefore, foreseeing this,

Speaker 1: spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul

Speaker 1: see corruption. Amen. That is good news for us, for

Speaker 1: hades is another word for grave, or you can even

Speaker 1: say shield the grave, or the underworld world or hell

Speaker 1: where a lot of flesh is being corrupted. The Bible

Speaker 1: speaks a lot about hell. We just spoke about Judas
