- 1:18Speaker 2: Ready to bloom into your best self.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Let's dive in.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Today I'm chatting with Jane Fry, international award winning advanced energy master.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Jane Fry discovered an undocumented paradigm energy system she named crystal consciousness.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Now founder of the Energy Wellness Center Academy, jane's passion is reuniting us with her innate radiance, guiding us to release limitations and explore our aligned high vibrational ability to manifest our desires in the Wonder Zone.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Hello, I'm so excited.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I want you to describe.
- 1:59Speaker 2: We're going to talk about the Wonder Zone, but first what I want you to tell us is if you could describe to us what energy work is essentially and what is it that you do with it?
- 2:12Speaker 3: Well, energy work is.
- 2:14Speaker 3: You know it's a term, you know that we hear out in the community and it's actually so simple.
- 2:21Speaker 3: It's just a natural part of who we are.
- 2:23Speaker 3: We are energy.
- 2:25Speaker 3: We're physical, emotional, mental and spiritual beings and all of that is energy.
- 2:32Speaker 3: All of our world is energy.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Nature is energy, and working energetically is really just to develop a relationship with that part of yourself and feel like you're connected connected to the earth and connected to spirit, being able to follow guidance and tune in deeply to your heart and really just letting yourself be in the flow and the ease of living your life in that place.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So it's kind of like the, the non seeable right, like we don't see the energy.
- 3:08Speaker 2: It's just, it's what we feel and what's what's holding us together, like gravity.
- 3:13Speaker 3: They say, right, yeah, yeah it is like gravity, it's like, it's like air, it's like water.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Water is a wonderful example, because we know water in its vapor state, where you cannot see it.
- 3:28Speaker 3: We know it in a cloud formation where it's got a little bit of opacity.
- 3:33Speaker 3: We know it in the form of ice, which is like, completely physical.
- 3:37Speaker 3: So our body is really this physical part of our energy that is in a dense enough of a vibration that we can actually feel it.
- 3:49Speaker 3: We can feel it as being physical, but the foundation of it is, you know, 99 and more percent of just space that carries this wisdom of energy.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And so why not work with that and let it be the guide of of who you are and the expression of your true self?
- 4:09Speaker 2: yeah, okay, and so when you're working with a person's or you're working on I don't know how you describe it you work on or you work with a person's energy, what's happening?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Exactly like what are you doing?
- 4:22Speaker 3: well, it's a really interesting space and I call it working with because my role is just to be a space holder, basically for them to be in the energetic state they're in.
- 4:35Speaker 3: It could be emotions, it could be thoughts that are driving it, it could be patterns that are a challenge in their life that are a challenge in their life, and these are the things that are, like the cloud parts of keeping the sunlight of their radiance from shining through, and so I'm holding a frequency or a bandwidth that allows them to move into a higher vibration, and when we move into higher vibrations, we're able to access a lot more expansion.
- 5:08Speaker 3: We have creative ideas when we were just in kind of the chaos or the burden or the overwhelm of whatever is happening in our life at the moment.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Right, we are so challenged by all of the events of the world and by things that are happening with our family or in our community, and it's really easy to become disconnected from that part of ourself that really is our true self, our authentic self, and to just make choices from that space that will serve everyone, ourselves and all of the other plateaus as well.
- 6:01Speaker 3: So doing energy work increases the bandwidth that people can carry and it allows them to be less reactive.
- 6:11Speaker 3: They have less anxiety If they're having pain or other health struggles.
- 6:17Speaker 3: It opens up solutions for how to manage it.
- 6:22Speaker 3: They have less pain.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Their energy is flowing and naturally releasing this held energy, which usually people I work with.
- 6:32Speaker 3: It's like your whole lifetime of energy and all the events in your life have that energetic imprint and some stuff we're like just done with and yet the energetic pattern might still be there.
- 6:44Speaker 3: We can really um do a lot working with the energy to shift that out of its um place in the energy I feel like we could chat here for a few hours because all these questions are coming at me.
- 7:01Speaker 2: So when so you said something about the physical body.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Now, when we have, like when we're, you know, a child and we have some kind of accident or you know, we break a leg or we break an arm or you know, is it true that that often doesn't heal completely if the energy doesn't move?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Because I have heard, heard that, right, energy sort of gets stuck in that, in the scar of that wound, and then, like it sort of stays there and then, as we get older, we feel it like, you know, when we hear like, oh yeah, when the weather changes my bone, yeah, tell me, that is that, is that what energy is like?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Is that part of that?
- 7:42Speaker 3: that is part of that.
- 7:43Speaker 3: And our energy, our energy systems are just as complex as all of our different physiology.
- 7:50Speaker 3: You know, like our bones have an energy and our circulation has an energy, and so a broken bone is a good example because there's the alignment piece of getting the bone straightened.
- 8:03Speaker 3: You know, you might have a surgery to have that piece done, but the energetic piece might not be addressed and the scarring is a very, very dense, dense tissue and it holds that stuck pattern more than anything, and so it can become a place where energy can accumulate and the things that are challenges for us.
- 8:25Speaker 3: That has a place to go so easily and that can easily be shifted for people to create some flow around that by having that energetic support, people can learn how to do this for themselves.
- 8:44Speaker 3: And actually it's a natural part of who we are, because if we injure ourself, what is the first thing you do?
- 8:50Speaker 3: You put your hand over it and hold it and comfort yourself.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Or if someone is upset, you embrace them and you hold them and you give them that support.
- 9:00Speaker 3: You are there as a presence to help them carry that burden Energetically.
- 9:06Speaker 3: That has a profound benefit.
- 9:09Speaker 3: It creates this stability that we need so we can self-regulate as children, and our children can be taught how to regulate their energy.
- 9:18Speaker 3: We teach them about physical wellness and we teach them about their emotions, and we want them to have good mental clarity and be able to make wise choices for themselves, but we don't tell them that they actually are the ones in charge of their energy and they're creating their life with their energy and with their choices.
- 9:41Speaker 3: With every breath we are taking in life.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It's really a magnificent thing.
- 9:47Speaker 2: our lives are so, so precious and and complicated right, there's so much.
- 9:53Speaker 2: There's so much involved in keeping our bodies healthy and safe and and, and we all know, like this energy it's not new, right like I know that people have been working with energy for a long time, but I feel like I've heard so much about it in the last 10 years, Like it seems to have, you know, growing through.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I don't know if it's throughout the year or if it's just that you know I have because I've come into contact with people like yourself, you know, that people are working with it now, but it just seems more common now.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Right, we do hear.
- 10:30Speaker 3: We do hear more of it, and more and more people are attuned to energy, and you know you might have heard things like the vibration or the frequency of the world is changing and the Schumann resonance is having a higher frequency, so it is really a movement of evolution on Earth and all people are affected by this, and even those people that aren't engaging with their energy, their energy right, it is.
- 11:03Speaker 3: It's just like gravity is just a thing and and yes, we are all held on earth by gravity, whether we like it or not.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Right, we are all energy as well, right, and, and it's always working for our highest benefit.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Our energy wants to be in its highest integrity.
- 11:22Speaker 3: It wants to create health, and it's a powerful place to be, to be able to engage with what that creation can be for ourselves and to use that support system.
- 11:37Speaker 3: It is a foundation for all of the other systems.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Our physical health is better, our emotions are calmer and more stable, we have more clarity and focus in our thoughts and we feel aligned and connected to that beautiful source energy, that sense that you know we're really part of this greater whole.
- 11:59Speaker 3: That really is an energetic awareness or presence that we can actually carry in our life, in our business.
- 12:07Speaker 3: You know, all of the different facets of our life are an expression of that, of that wholeness, that unity oh, I love, I love this.
- 12:18Speaker 2: so my, my brain is going to you know all my religious studies, right, like it's actually going to you know how well, we won't get into it because I know that that's not what we're here to talk about, but it's like my brain is definitely understanding the whole.
- 12:34Speaker 2: You know, the whole physical form versus not physical, right.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I love this, I'm going to love this conversation, but let's get into our summer topic Boss Babe Summer.
- 12:46Speaker 2: What does Boss Babe Summer look like to you this year?
- 13:08Speaker 3: our summer is, and it's such an important time for all of us to just give ourselves a little bit of grace and allow some rest time, some restorative time, time to be in nature.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I love the long, hot days of summer more than anything.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I love getting up in the morning and the sun is up already, and I love looking out at 10 o'clock and it is still sunlight.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I know Incredible, and you know what a gift that is to have that kind of beauty in our days.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Through the summer, everything is green, the gardens are lovely and you know there's flourishing happening.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And you know there's flourishing happening.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Crops are growing, trees are green, nature is alive.
- 13:47Speaker 3: You can just see it every day.
- 13:49Speaker 3: And so for me it's about really appreciating that time, taking a few moments of pause just to reflect on the grandness of summer in that that sense, and appreciating it yeah, absolutely so.
- 14:08Speaker 2: How do you, how are you going to use this season, the summer, to recharge or refocus, or both?
- 14:17Speaker 3: well, it's an interesting question because in the last year or two I've actually undertaken some big projects for myself, so I'm taking a little bit of time to actually celebrate that.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I made some of those goals.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I did some big teaching this year from January to June, which was one of my goals Did some training and up leveling and had success with that, and so now it's a time for integration, time to let you know if that was like the spring of my life and the studying and all of that.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Now is the time for integration and letting that kind of develop into what it's really going to be in the offerings and in the work that I do Having a course about energy that everyone will be able to participate in, to learn a little bit more about energy and how to be supported by it, and really engaging in a way that serves people to find that sense of well-being that comes with being energetically aligned.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I love that.
- 15:29Speaker 2: It sounds like you're going to be busy this summer.
- 15:32Speaker 3: There's a few things that are happening, and in the midst of that, there is like, yeah, every day appreciating these beautiful moments, spending time with family, doing things that are, just, you know, meant to be done in summer going for picnics, going for walks, being in the woods.
- 15:51Speaker 3: One of my favorite things, most restorative places you can be is to walk in in a forest or in the woods and soak that up.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Good for you.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I love that.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I love that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Is there maybe a move that you're making that you will make over the summer, then that will set yourself up for the fall and for it to be like a strong, like the fall is kind of the you know the.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I find it's almost like a new year, right, like I always remember you know the kids go back to school in September and the world sort of renews itself, right?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Is there anything that you're doing over the summer to set yourself up for that?
- 16:30Speaker 3: I am.
- 16:30Speaker 3: I'm focusing really on on the course that's going to be coming out and I'm just developing more and more of this integration between um, the advanced energy work that I do is highly intuitive, award winning material that I've developed ways that I can bring that forth to the community that is already working energetically, but also bringing just the awareness of energetic well being and and how to incorporate that into our lives just for every day, for everyone and everywhere.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I love that.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I love that and I know you and I will be in touch talking about that again.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I hope so yes absolutely, absolutely.
- 17:18Speaker 2: What's one thing that you are intentionally saying no to this summer, just to make space for your own growth.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Well, I had the opportunity to actually participate in a really wonderful thing.
- 17:32Speaker 3: That would have really been a growth opportunity for me and my initial sense was yes, this is definitely what you should be doing.
- 17:42Speaker 3: And I took a moment to pause, which is what I recommend that we all do take that reflection moment and actually tune in and see if that really is the right move for you.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Like, really tune into.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Is it a yes or is it just a shiny thing?
- 17:59Speaker 3: And actually, when I looked at it more closely, the time commitment was going to be, you know, significant.
- 18:08Speaker 3: And I'm looking at these beautiful summer days and and I had to say no, I'm like I'm claiming this time yeah, well, it's funny how our intuition talks to us, isn't it Right, absolutely.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's clear Like it is really working in our highest interest.
- 18:30Speaker 3: And the more we engage with our intuition, the more it will support us and the easier it is to hear those little whispers, those little words, and to feel the nudge that is going to guide us in the right direction knows and it tells you I'm learning this and I'm getting it more and more right.
- 19:07Speaker 2: over the last year I've really been taking that second to sort of sit back and go okay, what do I really want right now?
- 19:12Speaker 3: right, yeah, and it's taking just that little minute or a moment, however long it is, to just take your awareness out of your you know, your brain and analysis for a moment and just bring yourself down into your heart and even feel your feet on the earth for a minute and just, yeah, I'm here and this is now, and, yeah, my heart is actually wanting.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yeah for me, and really letting that guide you.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I love how you explain that, because often we hear like intuition is another part of us, right.
- 19:48Speaker 2: But if we really like, if we really put it in our heart I mean, I know not everybody feels it in their heart, right Some people get it in their stomach, some people it's you know, like it's a sound or it's you know but when you really think about it, if you feel it in your heart, where else do you want to feel it, right?
- 20:06Speaker 2: Because that's where we should be leading ourselves from.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I love that, I love that.
- 20:12Speaker 3: That little part of us that is like, yes, I am on board with that.
- 20:17Speaker 3: It makes me feel so expanded, so good, so full of joy.
- 20:22Speaker 3: That is actually our intuition.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Absolutely and that is our natural state of being right.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Right we're unconditioned about it.
- 20:31Speaker 3: We can recondition ourselves back, Exactly Having that kind of alignment.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I love it.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I love it.
- 20:37Speaker 2: What mindset shift helped you level up in your business or your life recently?
- 20:45Speaker 3: The mindset shift.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Well, for me it was actually moving into some focus and clarity and actually active decision making, and that turns out can be done in these like tiny little steps.
- 21:05Speaker 3: So when the overwhelm hits, it's like, well, what is that one thing I need to do?
- 21:11Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, I can do that and that is the thing that I need to do.
- 21:17Speaker 3: I love that, yeah, and so it kind of kind of takes all of that bigness of the world down into the next tiny step.
- 21:26Speaker 3: That actually is going to be easy to do and it will make the rest of all of the other decisions easier.
- 21:33Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 21:34Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I love that.
- 21:35Speaker 2: What's one summer habit or ritual that you have that sort of keeps you in your superpower?
- 21:42Speaker 3: Well, I do energy work for myself every day and it is actually my foundation.
- 21:48Speaker 3: So in the morning and in the evening I do exercises for balancing my energy and it's just like having a regular yoga practice, which I also do and people will do meditating or going for a walk every day, those kinds of restorative activities.
- 22:08Speaker 3: We actually need that creation space every day in order to really live in our, you know, highest frequency right.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Right we need to allow ourselves time to embrace that.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I love that.
- 22:22Speaker 2: So you have like this regular routine.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I mean, I'm a routine person.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I think that routine is very, you know, it's important to continue with structure and stability right?
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yes, now you said you have like an energy, like I think you called it a, not a program, but some kind of like an energy.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I don't what did you call it?
- 22:46Speaker 2: I can't think.
- 22:47Speaker 2: It's not coming to me it would be.
- 22:49Speaker 3: It would be the revitalizer.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Right, and so what?
- 22:55Speaker 2: What is that exactly Like when you say you know to restore?
- 22:57Speaker 1: your energy.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Are you doing like you know, standing on your head kind of exercises, or you know what I mean Like?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Is it like something really vigorous?
- 23:06Speaker 2: Or is it like you know, like a yoga?
- 23:09Speaker 2: I think Qigong is one of those energy.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Yeah, qigong is very energy based as well, so we're working with subtle energy and so that's always very interesting.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Subtle energy means that it's not usually involving big or complex movements, and when people have a revitalizer, for example, they have the opportunity to assess themselves and learn how to start understanding their energy and being connected to it.
- 23:37Speaker 3: We talk about what that's going to be like for them and they create this awareness of, oh yeah, when they feel in alignment or out of alignment, and then really simple practices that they can do for themselves every day to help maintain and create more of that.
- 23:56Speaker 3: And, especially when they develop some awareness of not being in alignment, they can use those tools or easy exercises to just gently shift their energy, and it might be just an exercise to to clear energy that is there or to create a boundary, if that's what they need to do.
- 24:16Speaker 3: These things can be done energetically that strengthen the energy.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Cool.
- 24:21Speaker 2: So it'd be more like like you know, if you wake up you didn't have the best sleep.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So you wake up, you feel kind of sluggish.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Then you would do something like this revitalizer and you would sort of rebalance everything that's going on inside you.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's about rebalancing, helping to connect again to the earth and get that restorative earthy energy in our body, and also this connection to spirit, which is our personal spirit.
- 24:48Speaker 3: You had mentioned you know some of the other beliefs around spirit and this is not to do with you know belief systems about spirit.
- 24:57Speaker 3: This is our own connection to our higher self or our inner self Different words that are used to describe that just this knowing of of who we are on this deeper level.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Oh, I just love it.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I feel like there's so much I can learn from you.
- 25:14Speaker 3: And it leads to intention setting, because we start to claim what it is we really do want.
- 25:22Speaker 3: And right and it's like in terms of how we're going to feel and how we're going to have that expressed in our life and the things we're going to be doing and the joy that we're going to have, and it just moves us into that place where there's like a synchronicity in life and the lights are green when you're driving and you know there can be things happening around us there always are, but you're in this little island of stability that you have for yourself, that you can go back to, just even by taking a breath and bringing yourself there with intention.
- 25:56Speaker 2: I love it, I love it and I think well, I hope everyone gets in touch with you, Jane, because I feel like there's something you can teach.
- 26:03Speaker 3: All of us touch with you, jane, because I feel like there's something you can teach all of us.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I really want people to understand how normal energy is.
- 26:13Speaker 3: You know it's been held out in kind of a woo space, you know.
- 26:14Speaker 3: So there's resistance and avoidance and all of that, but it's just another natural part of us just like being physical and having emotions is we also have energy and we are energy.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I love it.
- 26:28Speaker 2: One thing I want to ask you what is one thing that you feel every woman entrepreneur should try this summer to grow?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Well, I think there's lots of different things, but for women in particular, it's really important to just acknowledge their value.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Take a moment and acknowledge and really appreciate all of the all of the scope of what you've been able to do and accomplish in your life, the things about yourself that you may take for granted.
- 27:07Speaker 3: You know you've managed a home, you've managed a career, you've managed motherhood.
- 27:15Speaker 3: You know you've been in the in-between generation, maybe with elderly parents and young children at the same time, and you've navigated all of that, and these are things that have been so enriching for our world and and have offered so much service in levels that you might not even be aware of.
- 27:36Speaker 3: So I invite all women to take time to acknowledge their own value and their own precious life that they have and really allow themselves to be nurtured by that.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I really love that.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Thank you for saying that, because I think every woman needs to hear that Sometimes we just we just go right, we like, okay, I need to do this because I need to put bread on the table right or I need to, you know, I need to accomplish this and we don't look back and say, wow, like, look at what I came from, Look at multitaskers extraordinaire right.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and it's important for well.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I think it's important for women to be seen and to be heard Right, and sometimes we get so caught up in the doing that we forget to look and hear ourselves, nevermind what the other people are doing.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Right, so yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I love that.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Thank you for saying that.
- 28:34Speaker 2: What now your work is?
- 28:36Speaker 2: I mean, I think your work is amazing.
- 28:38Speaker 2: What do you like?
- 28:41Speaker 2: What impact do you hope that your work is making right now on the world?
- 28:48Speaker 3: My hope would be that there has been a movement towards igniting inner wellness, creating that sense of well-being and greater connection and community and sense of well-being for all people and really having transformational space that people can be supported and held in while they learn how to flourish and grow in ways that are completely new to them, that are just so, I want to say magical.
- 29:24Speaker 3: And it's not magical because it's normal, but we're so kind of distracted from it that we don't even have that sense in our lives anymore.
- 29:34Speaker 3: And so this is that wonder, this beautiful sense of wonder, the living in the wonder zone of this energy alignment and letting it be the expression of your highest vibration, the highest frequency that you can achieve, and at those high vibrations, that's where we have joy and peace and transformation.
- 29:56Speaker 3: And it's already there.
- 29:59Speaker 3: It is already there, for I love it.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I love that.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I love that.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Do you have a boss, babe?
- 30:06Speaker 2: Role model.
- 30:15Speaker 3: I do have actually a few of them, and so one of them is Michelle Obama, because I love how she can be herself.
- 30:22Speaker 3: You know she's had immense opportunities and been in the public eye and yet she's just so natural and true to herself.
- 30:31Speaker 3: And locally, we have some wonderful role models here too, and so, if you're involved in womanition, dorothy Briggs is a woman that does amazing things, promoting other women entrepreneurs and supporting the community of business here and beyond Edmonton right, like a really beautiful, large imprint over many years, and you know we do not need to look far to find people that are making a big, big difference in the world, isn't that?
- 31:08Speaker 2: true, it is so true.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I, I know Dorothy.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I don't know her well, but I know her and I always think, wow, she's awesome, like you know she's.
- 31:16Speaker 2: She's a little like she kind of scares me, right, because I think she had she's got this big, you know presence, right, and you know, sometimes, you know we don't know how to you know talk to those kinds of people, but I think she's really awesome.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Do you have, um, like a beach read or a business book that you're, you know, reading for over the summer?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Well, I don't know about you, but I am just so into audio books, I listen to audiobooks and that is my go-to.
- 31:50Speaker 3: And I love reading and hearing about inspiring biographies, autobiographies, stories of challenges that have been faced and overcome, and so that's my go-to.
- 32:05Speaker 2: I love that.
- 32:06Speaker 3: It's going to be completely inspiring.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Right on.
- 32:09Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 32:10Speaker 2: So when you read, like I say, read in quotations, because we're not reading, we're listening.
- 32:16Speaker 2: What are you doing while you're listening?
- 32:19Speaker 2: Are you laying on the beach or on your back deck in a chair, or are you actually doing chores around your house or going for a walk?
- 32:28Speaker 3: Driving.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Oftentimes it increases the value of your time spent in the car immensely.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Yes, it does Something playing.
- 32:37Speaker 3: When I'm around the house, when I'm doing things, there are times when I really like silence.
- 32:46Speaker 3: I'm very good at having silence and lots of people like to have background music or something like that.
- 32:52Speaker 3: I am more likely to have an audio book playing in the background.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not listening like acutely to it, like I need to hear every word, but I'm just taking in the message of what their life can, can teach me through right lesson and the thing is, you're going to hear what you need to hear from that book right, it doesn't matter what you're doing, even if you're just sitting you're going to hear what you need to hear.
- 33:18Speaker 2: That's what it comes down to, and it's inspiring.
- 33:22Speaker 2: It is inspiring yeah, absolutely yeah and so do you have, like, like I tend to read probably three books at a time, like I have my.
- 33:32Speaker 2: You know, I call it my self-development.
- 33:34Speaker 2: So right now I'm really kind of reading more like the religious.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I have a Mel Robbins book on the go, but I'm also really really um, into like learning more about religion and how it plays a part of our everyday life.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Right, I mean, I grew up Catholic, but I I want to learn more because there's so many religions and how it affects our everyday life.
- 33:57Speaker 3: But I also.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Diversity is valuable yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 2: And then I also have, like you know, like a business read right.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Like something that will help me through my business.
- 34:08Speaker 2: But then I also have like recreation and my unfortunately I find there's no time to read my recreational book because I'm too busy playing games on my phone when I should be reading or listening to this book.
- 34:20Speaker 2: But do you have like, do you have a habit like that, you know, or do you just have one book on the go and then that's kind of, when that's finished you read the next?
- 34:29Speaker 3: Well, I also have like many, many, many hard copy books and I've got like a whole bunch of them on the go all the time and I pick, I pick all of them up and read them, depending on the mood that I'm in.
- 34:40Speaker 3: I read a lot of material and actually study it that is related to energy because, honestly, it's such a fascination for me and different people, in their different perceptions of energy, are describing and working all with the same thing, but they've got different maybe language about it or a little bit of different perception about it.
- 35:03Speaker 3: And even in our you know, know, our original cultures of the world, there is this energetic thread that is the same.
- 35:11Speaker 3: You know, the people that describe energy and chakras in the different modalities are all talking about the energy, like there is this thread of unity.
- 35:22Speaker 2: So lots of books that are yeah well, and I feel like this energy, like you know, we need to learn more about it, because I feel like it wasn't allowed before, right like it.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Nobody ever talked about energy.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I mean, I know energy as in how you're feeling, as far as you know, activity wise, like how motivated are you to get up and go here, but I think think I mean it's related, right Like I feel like you know, if I don't feel like getting off the couch, it's because my energy inside my body is heavy, right, and movement we all know movement creates a little bit of that lighter energy.
- 36:03Speaker 2: But there's more to it than that, right Like it's like emotions and you know, physical, physical, mental, like it's all.
- 36:11Speaker 2: It's a heavy, like it's all inside of us, but it's not.
- 36:16Speaker 2: You can't see it.
- 36:17Speaker 2: So you go to the doctor and I don't feel good.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I don't, I just feel so heavy inside, right.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Then, of course, they do tests and there's nothing wrong with you.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Well then there's something wrong with me because I'm not feeling good.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, right, and there is this interesting space and you know, having worked in health and in, you know, communities of health as a pharmacist for many years there is this space where the person has a sense that something's off, something's changing, but it cannot be diagnosed yet.
- 36:50Speaker 3: There's no diagnosis yet.
- 36:53Speaker 3: That little window is where it is so profound to have some energetic support to kind of open things up and let that held energy start to lift off and flow and bring in that lightness, that vitality, that creative energy is actually a source of health and wow up into it.
- 37:17Speaker 2: So you're, you mean like you know something like, say, like a tumor or something before it actually becomes a tumor that can be diagnosed.
- 37:28Speaker 2: We could break that up with like some kind of energy work.
- 37:34Speaker 3: That's.
- 37:35Speaker 3: That is a very, very simple way of saying that.
- 37:38Speaker 3: But yes, like if we keep our energy clear throughout, our health simply will be better.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, Okay so that, and then sometimes health events just happen to, and so there's there's no shame or blame or any kind of judgment around any of it.
- 37:57Speaker 3: It's just like even in the end of life care we can work energetically and people find serenity and ease and comfort in that.
- 38:09Speaker 3: That well-being is the number one benefit that has been identified in the studies that have been done using energy in places like the Cross Cancer Institute, for example, and other places where they're working with patients hospice care.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Some hospitals offer either Reiki or energy support of some kind as part of their hospital services, and we're not seeing that in Canada so much, but we see it in Europe and we do see it in some places in the United States and I have colleagues that work energetically in operating theaters while surgeries are being performed and they're holding that energetic space and doing that support for the patient.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, that's amazing, and those patients heal faster.
- 39:02Speaker 3: So if there was like a common, well known understanding of this, it would change the way some of the things are done in some of our systems.
- 39:13Speaker 2: And it would change the world right.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Like it would change.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Like.
- 39:16Speaker 2: If I'm like, if any one person has, like, always feels that heaviness, that you know that always down, if they could release that and let that go right, then they're going to be a happier person, the people around them are going to be happier, which is going to make the you know like that's wow, oh my gosh, I love this.
- 39:35Speaker 3: There's, it's a win, win, win, win wins overall, everybody wins, right?
- 39:41Speaker 3: Yeah, because it does have this immense ripple effect and and we really can only be responsible for how we manage ourselves but we can manage our energy easily and everyone can do it.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Everyone can learn easily how to engage with energy.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Oh yes, so this is something that I'm learning.
- 40:01Speaker 2: I am definitely learning this and it's and it's not easy to learn like it is, and it is a commitment, right Like anything that we learn, but yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 3: And it might be a little bit of a stretch, but it starts with really that understanding, right, and when people connect to that inner stillness, like we all have a place inside us that has this exquisite stillness, and it's like time stands still when you're in that place, and it's so, um, rich and expansive that when you've experienced it, it's like, oh my gosh, I forgot I, I could feel this way, right, we remember that.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how we maybe felt as children when we were playing or we were swinging or something, and and really, yeah, our natural state is to be in that kind of yeah with ourself.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Oh, I love that.
- 41:00Speaker 2: That is the wonder zone, my goodness yeah, I, yeah, I get it, I get it, I get it.
- 41:06Speaker 2: So now, earlier we talked about you are preparing a course for the fall.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Do you have like?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Do you have any?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Are you ready to, like you know, invite people in Like?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Do you have an offer prepared or do you have like?
- 41:23Speaker 2: Obviously we want to get in touch with you, so you know.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and what I'm offering for people is just a quick call with me just to have a little conversation about energy and see what interests them, but I really invite people to get in touch with me.
- 41:39Speaker 3: They can get on a waiting list if they are interested in learning more as it develops.
- 41:44Speaker 3: We'll be talking about things you know, like exploring the hidden costs of dismissing your heart's knowing right and bringing yourself into the wonder zone of energy alignment, and for many people, that is an area that that could interest them greatly.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I will definitely get the link from you and I will add it with the show notes and then when people want to get in touch with you, they can do that because, I feel like I want everyone to come talk to you, jane.
- 42:17Speaker 2: I want I want everyone to come and learn what you can teach us, because I think I mean that this sounds to me like something we can, you know.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I want to say correct the world but correct is not the right word but improve our health right.
- 42:33Speaker 2: If we can improve our health by learning little, little, tiny steps, right, we will improve the world will be to develop that kind of understanding.
- 42:46Speaker 3: We'll be doing some self assessments, discovering how we sense energy, all of those different ways that we can be aware of energy, and how our intuition is communicating with us.
- 42:56Speaker 3: All kinds of fun stuff.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, I love it.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Yes, I know be in touch with you for developing a foundation to incorporate that and integrated really into daily living.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely.
- 43:08Speaker 2: One more question Do you have a word for the?
- 43:12Speaker 3: summer.
- 43:12Speaker 3: I have two words for the summer.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yay.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Blessing and wonder.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Oh, I love it Blessing and wonder, so wonder.
- 43:24Speaker 2: I'm going to see, I'm going to guess.
- 43:26Speaker 2: That's where wonders own.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Yes, and be curious, right and bless.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Be curious, that's right.
- 43:33Speaker 3: And because we're in summer, right, we're like it's almost like we have the whole year.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Lots of things are happening.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I actually love the fall.
- 43:43Speaker 3: I even love winter, except if it's like problematic, of course, like I appreciate all the seasons, but this little window of time is like the blessing of our whole year and, yeah, I love it.
- 43:55Speaker 3: I love it, enjoy every day.
