- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, wore the roses comments blowing up on our
- 0:03Speaker 1: tax line. War the roses. Please ask her if she's
- 0:06Speaker 1: checking his tax trash all caps. I caught my man
- 0:10Speaker 1: cheating from the tax trash on his phone. Please read
- 0:13Speaker 1: this before I'm very curious. Thank you, so sorry for screaming,
- 0:17Speaker 1: she said. Anyway, Uh, Lotto, we had a winner.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I forgot to buy my ticket. But
- 0:26Speaker 2: I always feel like when I forget to buy a
- 0:28Speaker 2: powerball ticket and somebody wins in Illinois, which is what happened,
- 0:32Speaker 2: I'm like, well, it wasn't gonna be anyway, so I'm
- 0:33Speaker 2: glad I didn't waste them.
- 0:34Speaker 3: One person, I know, one person, billion dollars.
- 0:37Speaker 4: They get all of that money if it's only one
- 0:39Speaker 4: person out, Yeah, well.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Not all of it.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I mean, I think after taxes, the lump sum paymounts
- 0:43Speaker 2: four hundred and fifty and a half million dollars.
- 0:46Speaker 3: But all to that one winner, that's it.
- 0:48Speaker 5: You can say you can get by on that though, Well.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Congratulations, and we may never know who it is because
- 0:53Speaker 2: in Illinois you can stay in a Nominemena anemininist.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Traty's got a comment on War of Roses. Go ahead,
- 0:59Speaker 3: you're on there. Good morning, good morning, what's up, what's
- 1:03Speaker 3: going on?
- 1:04Speaker 6: And just just living large in a small town.
- 1:06Speaker 3: All right, your thoughts on war the roses?
- 1:10Speaker 7: Water ros is gonna tell you what, man, you can
- 1:12Speaker 7: never I've watched it many times, Water Roses and the light.
- 1:17Speaker 6: Between couples and cheating and that type of thing. You
- 1:21Speaker 6: can never hide some deleted messages.
- 1:24Speaker 7: Man, you can look through that and came through those
- 1:26Speaker 7: phones and find when someone's cheating.
- 1:29Speaker 6: And that's how I know that you can be cheated on,
- 1:32Speaker 6: and you can be hurt, and you can be devastated.
- 1:35Speaker 7: So that's my opinion on and that's my thoughts on
- 1:37Speaker 7: the water Roses.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Thank you, right, thank you? Yeah?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Okay, So I shared a story about an hour and
- 1:48Speaker 1: twenty minutes ago about an honest to goodness social media flub.
- 1:52Speaker 3: It's definitely a big one.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It exploded, It's completely out of control. Now you can
- 1:58Speaker 1: see it on my threads. I try to apologize. Nobody
- 2:00Speaker 1: believes me, but I wanted to know if you've ever
- 2:03Speaker 1: made a social media mistake, it's very simple, an honest mistake.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Matt, good morning, what'd you do? Hey?
- 2:10Speaker 6: Good morning? So, yeah, I was the social media manager
- 2:14Speaker 6: for like an umpire training program, and I saw a
- 2:17Speaker 6: bunch of posts about, oh, we'll miss you Vin Scully,
- 2:21Speaker 6: and you know about him leaving. Apparently he had retired,
- 2:26Speaker 6: but I had misinterpreted that, and I announced the passing
- 2:30Speaker 6: of the late Great Vin Sully.
- 2:34Speaker 3: You're making me feel a little bit.
- 2:38Speaker 2: There was a journalist or a news thing in the
- 2:40Speaker 2: UK that reported King Charles had just done wait.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Wait, wait, do you know what happened with the stories
- 2:46Speaker 3: of that.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So when there's a death in the royal family, they
- 2:49Speaker 1: play a certain song of music bed that announces there's
- 2:53Speaker 1: a death. And somebody's working at a radio station in
- 2:56Speaker 1: the UK and they wanted to hear the song, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: much like Rich, pressed the wrong button and song played
- 3:02Speaker 1: on the air, and so it announced me that song
- 3:05Speaker 1: meant that the king had died, and people went nuts,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and then they took them fifteen minutes before they realized
- 3:10Speaker 1: it was a mistake.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Mad.
- 3:12Speaker 4: You know how many celebrities I've killed off on this
- 3:13Speaker 4: show that aren't that aren't dead? And then later they did,
- 3:17Speaker 4: later they died, but not when I say they died.
- 3:19Speaker 3: So you're alone, all right, Matt, I'm sure. Thanks for
- 3:23Speaker 3: really thanks, thank you, Melissa. You got a social media mistake?
- 3:29Speaker 8: Yes I do. I'm so embarrassing too. So I had
- 3:33Speaker 8: just gotten on a shower and went to weigh myself
- 3:36Speaker 8: one morning and the scale said er R like error.
- 3:40Speaker 8: So I thought it would be hilarious to post a
- 3:45Speaker 8: picture of my feet standing on the scale. Same error,
- 3:47Speaker 8: like it's time to go on a diet. So I
- 3:52Speaker 8: posted this and I had probably the time about five
- 3:56Speaker 8: thousand followers and then include my family members and stuff
- 4:02Speaker 8: like that. So uh, I posted, and about twenty minutes later,
- 4:08Speaker 8: my ex coworker messages me and he's like, West, to
- 4:11Speaker 8: take your post down. Now you can see right all
- 4:15Speaker 8: the way up from the reflection. It was mortifying. And
- 4:23Speaker 8: I looked and sure not you could see everything, but
- 4:27Speaker 8: it wasn't. The worst part was like everything looks deformed
- 4:31Speaker 8: because like you know, those clownhouses were just started, you see,
- 4:36Speaker 8: Like that's like they're gonna think I really look like
- 4:40Speaker 8: this and what do I post?
- 4:41Speaker 9: Now?
- 4:41Speaker 5: That is the worst part.
- 4:44Speaker 6: That was the worst.
- 4:45Speaker 8: I'm like, do I just take it down and not
- 4:47Speaker 8: try to attention to it but I know people saw,
- 4:50Speaker 8: or do I just like try to explain how.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Reflection social media altogether. Social media is just not for you.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Like it looked, it was all distorted.
- 5:00Speaker 1: So they're like, uh, why would why would she post
- 5:03Speaker 1: a picture of a spoiled peach.
- 5:07Speaker 8: It was like one of those you know those cat
- 5:10Speaker 8: where if they take a picture and then it says
- 5:12Speaker 8: like she's trying to be all keep with her husbands.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Here's the picture, and then it's his point of view
- 5:17Speaker 8: what it looks like. It's a hairless cat.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my god.
- 5:21Speaker 1: That's more makes me feel also a lot better. I
- 5:26Speaker 1: think she wins this whole thing. Nobody's gonna be well,
- 5:28Speaker 1: let's see Melissa. Thanks for coming in. Thank you, Steven,
- 5:31Speaker 1: you got a social media flub.
- 5:35Speaker 9: Hey guys, it's Stephen. How are you.
- 5:37Speaker 3: You're on there? What's up?
- 5:38Speaker 6: Man?
- 5:39Speaker 9: Yeah? When I worked for Nissan many years ago, they
- 5:43Speaker 9: asked me to become a Google ambassador for Nissan, Mitsubishi
- 5:46Speaker 9: and Ranil worldwide. I was searching and found in a
- 5:53Speaker 9: sub site on Hissami in the in India. I went, oh,
- 5:57Speaker 9: I wonder if that's the new logo they're talking about.
- 6:00Speaker 9: And I went ahead and publicized a story on it,
- 6:02Speaker 9: and within ten minutes have phone calls from the United
- 6:05Speaker 9: States from Canada asked me where I got it? Why
- 6:07Speaker 9: did I publish it? And they said take it down,
- 6:09Speaker 9: so it's too late. So I announced their new change
- 6:12Speaker 9: and makeover about a month before they were going to
- 6:14Speaker 9: do it.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Wow, you said, is it Nissan the car Nissan?
- 6:20Speaker 9: Yeah, it was this times makeover when they changed their branding.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I feel like you say it differently.
- 6:25Speaker 9: It's actually this song announce in song, but it's everybody
- 6:29Speaker 9: calls it different this time. This song doesn't matter.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Really, It's like Lacroix water sounds like a black quawk.
- 6:36Speaker 9: Black quaw correct black quaw?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Oh wait, you're saying laqua is correct?
- 6:46Speaker 3: Where we were it's created like in Chicago, and.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It's like we're not going to bring up again, are
- 6:52Speaker 2: we Exactly.
- 6:54Speaker 9: It's just like Nikon. It was called the Nikon. It's
- 6:56Speaker 9: actually called ni Kon, the camera company Nikon. That's how
- 6:59Speaker 9: you pronounced in Japanese.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Well your name is actually step On.
- 7:04Speaker 9: Okay, Yeah, you're right, and you're true in Quebec, it
- 7:06Speaker 9: is not in the rest of the world.
- 7:09Speaker 3: All right, dude, thanks for calling in step On.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You know, I was thinking about the people that were
- 7:14Speaker 1: so what happened was I posted something. People always are
- 7:16Speaker 1: emailing me asking for advice, doing all kinds of stuff,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and I usually take an email that I can't answer,
- 7:22Speaker 1: and I'll post it on Facebook and get everyone on
- 7:23Speaker 1: Facebook to comment, and then I'll screensh out the comments
- 7:26Speaker 1: and send it to the person. And I had posted
- 7:29Speaker 1: something from a guy that has a problem with his
- 7:32Speaker 1: twenty five year old girlfriend who's gone gray and he
- 7:35Speaker 1: wants her to dye the hair. And he said she
- 7:36Speaker 1: looks like a grandma. And it looked like I posted
- 7:39Speaker 1: it from me.
- 7:40Speaker 5: It was about me, about your twenty five year old.
- 7:42Speaker 5: She took his name because he asked you to keep
- 7:45Speaker 5: it up, keep it up?
- 7:45Speaker 1: So what Also, the more I think about the hate
- 7:48Speaker 1: that I'm getting, it's kind of interesting the point of
- 7:51Speaker 1: view if you could step back and think about how
- 7:53Speaker 1: miserable these people are, that my mistake has got them
- 7:57Speaker 1: so angry, Like how do you live like that?
- 8:00Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like I wasn't talking about
- 8:02Speaker 3: you or whoever it was.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I but I think they think they're sticking up for
- 8:06Speaker 2: someone who's been put in a position of vulnerability.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Right, but just to do that, I just feel like,
- 8:12Speaker 1: like I think you would live with so much anger?
- 8:14Speaker 5: How many? How many of Like, it's not just a
- 8:16Speaker 5: few comments, right.
- 8:17Speaker 3: It's it's over five thousand.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Over five thousand.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:21Speaker 2: And they're not just comments, they are absolute put downs.
- 8:24Speaker 2: They're like vicious darts.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Yes, yes, I mean you may have found a niche.
- 8:30Speaker 1: My favorite comment though, because the the anger comments in
- 8:34Speaker 1: the putdowns don't bother me. And I was I'm wondering
- 8:38Speaker 1: why it doesn't bother me. Someone said, it's because you're
- 8:40Speaker 1: half Mexican. You grew up in Mexico, and that's all
- 8:42Speaker 1: they do.
- 8:43Speaker 3: When you grew up in Mexico.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Your family just destroys you from the day you're born
- 8:46Speaker 1: until even now even Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 5: I mean it it forged your sense of humor.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, we are gonna play minute to win it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: We need to contest it. Eight seven seven nine three
- 8:56Speaker 1: seven one oh four seven. You play for one thousand
- 8:58Speaker 1: dollars of Padhickey's money. Kyle, you got a text from
- 9:03Speaker 1: Rich this morning.
- 9:04Speaker 9: I did.
- 9:05Speaker 5: It was a little ominous.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Way way early.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Remind me to tell you about the dream I had
- 9:10Speaker 2: about your grandmother.
- 9:11Speaker 1: It's true, I said it. Okay, so you had a
- 9:14Speaker 1: dream and you feel it. I woke up from the dream, like,
- 9:17Speaker 1: did her grandmother visit you? Yes, that's kind of what
- 9:20Speaker 1: you think it is for sure, So you don't know
- 9:22Speaker 1: if what you're going to.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Tell her means anything, because she had a message. So
- 9:26Speaker 4: what's really weird is you were in the dream. I
- 9:28Speaker 4: don't know why she didn't just just tell you directly
- 9:30Speaker 4: in the dream, because you were there. And what's real
- 9:32Speaker 4: about it is, Kyle, we were at some kind of
- 9:35Speaker 4: event and I kept on wandering off, and you have
- 9:37Speaker 4: to keep finding me and bringing me into the room
- 9:39Speaker 4: that we're supposed to be in for the meeting. So
- 9:41Speaker 4: that seemed very real to me because that happens a lot.
- 9:44Speaker 4: My grandpa was in a dream, and Kyle's grandmother wasn't
- 9:48Speaker 4: a dream. So it's your dad's mom that was in
- 9:52Speaker 4: a dream, and my grandpa's talking to me about cars,
- 9:56Speaker 4: and then Kyle's grandma keeps poking me. Tell her that
- 10:01Speaker 4: the only time that she can talk to me is
- 10:04Speaker 4: the only time in her day when it's quiet, and
- 10:06Speaker 4: that's when she's driving to work. Yes, she drives too
- 10:09Speaker 4: fast on the way to work, but that's the only
- 10:11Speaker 4: time during the day that it's quiet enough. If she's
- 10:13Speaker 4: wanting to talk to her relatives that I can hear
- 10:16Speaker 4: her back because it's the only time she doesn't have
- 10:18Speaker 4: kids and noise in constant noise in the background. So
- 10:23Speaker 4: tell Kyle, who was sitting right next.
- 10:25Speaker 3: To me, was it a podcast? Is pretty long dream?
- 10:28Speaker 5: She said? Tell Kyle.
- 10:30Speaker 4: The only time she can talk to me is in
- 10:31Speaker 4: the morning. It's the only time that's quiet for her
- 10:33Speaker 4: throughout the whole day. Yes, I can hear her.
- 10:36Speaker 5: So that was it. I don't know if that connects
- 10:37Speaker 5: to you or not.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Well, I feel like that is the only time that
- 10:42Speaker 2: is quiet. But it's like, I love you, Hussey, but
- 10:45Speaker 2: it's like that's the only time I have time to
- 10:46Speaker 2: like watch TV.
- 10:47Speaker 3: I knew, I knew it. That's what she watches.
- 10:54Speaker 5: You're watching in the car. You're watching in the car
- 10:56Speaker 5: on the way to work.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yes, sometimes sometimes I do, like a documentary all put
- 11:00Speaker 2: it on and it just kind of like a podcast,
- 11:02Speaker 2: Like if I like you could hear you know a
- 11:04Speaker 2: lot of times, Yeah, you see the people talk.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, try like maybe tomorrow, that's so funny. Try quiet,
- 11:12Speaker 1: see if she reaches out to you or on the
- 11:13Speaker 1: way home. It was it was so real I thought
- 11:15Speaker 1: you were having the dream too. I'm like, probably kind
- 11:17Speaker 1: of nice, exactly what I'm talking about. Hey, John, good morning.
- 11:19Speaker 1: John's got a comment about the whole Nissan thing, right,
- 11:21Speaker 1: because Stephen was saying, Nissan, what are you saying?
- 11:24Speaker 7: Yeah, so the Nissan Nissan. So he was saying that
- 11:28Speaker 7: it's actually Nikon because it's Japanese and I is me.
- 11:31Speaker 7: But Nissan, he was saying, is Nissan not Nissan, So
- 11:35Speaker 7: technically it is Nissan.
- 11:36Speaker 6: So you guys are right and he is wrong.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Burn all right, brother, Thank you so much. John who
- 11:44Speaker 1: works and he is the marketing director for Nissan.
- 11:47Speaker 9: Thank you. Jo
